The Winter Olympics Committee looking into the medals that are breaking and they're taking the issue seriously. Apparently a small number of medals have been breaking and they're investigating the matter. They are also saying to athletes don't.

The Winter Olympics Organizing Committee told CBS News it was taking the issue seriously, fully recognizing the significance these medals hold for the athletes.
