Paying your Household Bills - Living as a Student

<v Speaker 1>separate account, so I know how much money is kind
<v Speaker 1>of mine to play with and mine to go out with.

<v Speaker 4>build your water bill, heating bill, it's all included in
<v Speaker 4>you just make a one single beaman.
<v Speaker 2>Going into second year, I didn't realize how quickly I've

<v Speaker 2>how quickly I just go, like, now everybody just wear
<v Speaker 2>a jumper. It's fine, it's not that cold, and so
<v Speaker 2>I'm because of Welsh I'm quite used to the cold anyway,
<v Speaker 2>so I'd still be sat in shorts and a T shirt.

<v Speaker 2>totally against it because I wanted to spend my money
<v Speaker 2>on something that I don't know, I thought was a
<v Speaker 2>little bit more more fun than bills.
<v Speaker 3>It's probably about sixty pounds a month each. That's like
<v Speaker 3>not altogether, that's like just for one person, and I
<v Speaker 3>live with three.
<v Speaker 2>Budgeting bills was kind of a bit of a doubtfall
<v Speaker 2>of mine, cause I sort of forgot about them because
<v Speaker 2>they only came through every three months. I was like, oh, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I got this much money. I've got this much money,
<v Speaker 2>and then the bill would come through and I'd be like,
<v Speaker 2>oh yeah, I didn' account for that. At the moment.
<v Speaker 2>I lived with just one other person, and I think
<v Speaker 2>we spend between us. So I'm trying to do some
<v Speaker 2>quick maths. So three months is one hundred pounds on electricity,
<v Speaker 2>about fifty pounds on water, and about sixty five pound internet,
<v Speaker 2>So also going to be about one hundred and a
<v Speaker 2>few pounds three months, about sixty pounds a month. It's
<v Speaker 2>about thirty a month each on bills for heating and
<v Speaker 2>electras too.
<v Speaker 5>I just kind of budgets around fifteen pounds a month
<v Speaker 5>for that, and I take that into consideration with my
<v Speaker 5>with my weekly budget, and more often than not, that
<v Speaker 5>would be about the right amount.
<v Speaker 3>Going to university isn't just about doing a course.
<v Speaker 2>More than just doing your uniones.
<v Speaker 5>Because it really helps you get to know new people.
<v Speaker 3>When you're picking a GCCS, pick something that you love,
<v Speaker 3>something that you're good at, and something that you think
<v Speaker 3>is going to be useful.
<v Speaker 1>No matter what course you do, it's not so much
<v Speaker 1>about what specific subjects you learner than that course. It's
<v Speaker 1>about the skills that you develop during the course.
