Those are a few of my favorite things, right for real? Growing up watching SNL and then in two thousand and three watching Chappelle, it got us thinking, what are some of your favorite moments? Because today is the anniversary of Dave Chappelle on Comedy Central his sketch comedy show in two thousand and three, and man, it was a game changer for sure, open up the doors for guys like Kean Peel. You start thinking of some of your favorites, even kids in the hall. What are the classics that stand out? That's reminisce right, and you can dit us up at eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox Danny G's not standby. I have three that come to mind. I wonder if we have any overlaps. Well, I don't want to go. I'm not gonna go super obvious. Going super obvious to me is no fun, like what makes white people dance? Yeah, I have three Danny g that come to mind that I feel like I could look at them and watch them at any time and still laugh, like that's the first time I'm watching it.

Speaker 2: Yeah, it was some of the funniest stuff, and it was ours, like, yeah, our parents grew up with SNL, and of course we watched SNL as well. But when Chappelle started doing his thing and I was like, okay, And that was around the time we started doing our show, our radio show. So this became every week banter for us and a different generation, so it really was impactful at the time.

Speaker 2: Just keep The next day the other guy comes out, it's the hat with the tag, but it's still in the bag. And then it's the next day and they keep going back and forth with their hats. It's hysterical, and that's just like the epitome of the dumb stuff they would do.

Speaker 2: I think one that goes under the radar as well for Key and Peel is there's a bit where they're talking about how they're all tough with their wives and meanwhile their wives clearly wear the pants and like, I looked her in the eyes and I was like, and they're like, yo, you said that, you called it and you didn't say that right in the eye and I said, And then the wives come in and they all like are scared. I thought that was a great bb Do you have any any sketch that comes to by for you.

Speaker 5: Well, you know, just on the Key and Peel ones, just off of that the cooking show one, oh yeah, that they do of like does he love it or hate it? The back and forth, it's just the premise of well, because that's what happens on those cooking shows. It's such a dramatic sort of thing. So I love the creativity of that bitch so good.

And if you missed it, Rich said it before Keegan Michael Key did throw out that he'd be willing to do some more with Jordan Peele. Jordan Peele obviously a big movie maker now, but I'm sure they can get together and make some good stuff.

The day, I know is a pretty famous thing that Dave's I know, but what is your favorite?

And you know, it always stood out to me too, like how bad some of the athletes speaking of Fox Sports and Fox Sports Radio, Like if they welcome if SNL welcomed Derek Jeter or any celebrity athlete, it was always a big deal. But you could see how they just didn't have the comedy chops like it was never as good.

Yeah, when Lindsay Lows Lindsay lowans in the sketch and everyone in the sketch starts breaking character because it's just so ridiculously funny. Debbie Downer, I think is awesome.
