Dr. Kevin Chapman on Navigating through Fear and Anxiety in Life and in Golf
Dr. Chapman (Ph.D. Clinical Psychology) is a diplomate and certified by the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies. He is the Founder and Director of the Kentucky Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders and specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy including exposure for panic disorder, agoraphobia, specific phobias, and social anxiety disorders.
He also works with athletes and joins us to help you navigate fear and anxiety - in life and on the golf course. He contrasts the two emotions and describes them in detail. He also shares how to identify negative, destructive thoughts and use emotional regulation skills, mental toughness, enhanced self-talk, and mental imagery for fear-free performance.
