<v Speaker 1>Hey guys, welcome to the mail bag here on the
<v Speaker 1>WWE podcast. Time to talk to you, Time to talk
<v Speaker 1>to you the listener, and see what's on your mind
<v Speaker 1>with this week in WWE, and see what you think
<v Speaker 1>about going forward. As we jump into the Patreon side
<v Speaker 1>of things. As always, those who are patrons get the
<v Speaker 1>first call or first I guess, the first placement in
<v Speaker 1>the show for mail and voicemails. But one thing I've
<v Speaker 1>had a lot of messages lately that something's up with
<v Speaker 1>my Apple podcast feed, specifically for those of you who
<v Speaker 1>are subscribers, and hopefully you can listen to this even
<v Speaker 1>if you can't hear my feed somehow, because on the
<v Speaker 1>free feed it's no issue. But on the subscriber side
<v Speaker 1>of things, for those of you on Apple podcasts, I
<v Speaker 1>do want to say I have contacted Apple. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what's going on. Nothing from my side has been different.
<v Speaker 1>I've uploaded everything the same exact way. Everything looks like
<v Speaker 1>it should be functioning normally. I don't see anything broken
<v Speaker 1>all the rest. So I've reached out to Apple and
<v Speaker 1>now I just have to wait for them to respond.
<v Speaker 1>I've said, you know, many of you have said it
<v Speaker 1>just spins or it's just not there after the or
<v Speaker 1>first week of October, whatever, I don't know what's going
<v Speaker 1>on there, so I'm leaving it in Apple's hands. But
<v Speaker 1>I apologize that I don't know what the heck is
<v Speaker 1>going on there. For those are who are on Apple
<v Speaker 1>Podcast and subscribe there, I do appreciate your support and
<v Speaker 1>it should be resolved shortly. I don't know what the
<v Speaker 1>heck is going on. I've double checked everything, so all right, anyway,
<v Speaker 1>let's get into the Patreon side of things quickly. I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna run through this as quickly as I can today.
<v Speaker 1>I don't have a ton of time, all right, so
<v Speaker 1>let's talk to a patron, George. Let's start out with George.
<v Speaker 1>He says, what are your thoughts on the silencing of
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Owens? Do you think he really has the goods
<v Speaker 1>on Cody? Could we be closer to the match the
<v Speaker 1>much needed Cody heel turned and expected look forward to
<v Speaker 1>hearing from you. It's I think it's a pipe dream
<v Speaker 1>at this point to think that Cody Rhodes is turning heel.
<v Speaker 1>Will it happen in his career? I would think so.
<v Speaker 1>I think that's pretty pretty solid. I mean, there's very,
<v Speaker 1>very very few stars throughout their entire career that don't
<v Speaker 1>turn heel. The only one I can think of is
<v Speaker 1>John Cena, and they were close to doing it when
<v Speaker 1>The Rock returned in twenty eleven with the Rock or
<v Speaker 1>with the Rock and John scene at WrestleMania twenty seven,
<v Speaker 1>they were close. So I don't think it's going to happen.
<v Speaker 1>But it's maybe some kind of black manly has on
<v Speaker 1>Cody that Cody ultimately admits to. But it's not something
<v Speaker 1>he turns heel from. It's just something he's ashamed of
<v Speaker 1>in his past, something like that, the silencing though of
<v Speaker 1>Kevin owns, Kevin oons. As I've said, this is a
<v Speaker 1>distraction from what the main event is. This is the
<v Speaker 1>appetizer from the Randy Orton. He'll turn. We'll see on Cody.
<v Speaker 1>I don't have any big idea, any big ideas, or
<v Speaker 1>think there's going to be any massive plans with Kevin
<v Speaker 1>Owens here. As always, he is the guy that can
<v Speaker 1>be in the main event but never win it, and
<v Speaker 1>that's what he's kind of been most of his career.
<v Speaker 1>All Right, thank you, George. Let's talk to another patron,
<v Speaker 1>Dino and he says, just quickly before I get started.
<v Speaker 1>I forgot to say the true crime podcast I recommended
<v Speaker 1>last week is on Spotify. I have no idea if
<v Speaker 1>it's available everywhere you listen to your shows, but you
<v Speaker 1>have to check to listen to Spotify alongside my other shows.
<v Speaker 1>I'll check that out, yes, thank you. So let me
<v Speaker 1>start by saying, literally everywhere, every country outside of the
<v Speaker 1>US in Canada, who's even lucky enough to get a
<v Speaker 1>ple E gets it once a year, I e.
<v Speaker 2>The UK.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not gonna go into politics, but just from a
<v Speaker 1>on merit point of view, they absolutely do not deserve
<v Speaker 1>all the legends and all the current biggest stars and
<v Speaker 1>massive pl E events that they've had up until now,
<v Speaker 1>such as the Royal the Greatest Royal Rumble. Oh I
<v Speaker 1>remember that, the forty Man Royal Rumble. Yes, they actually
<v Speaker 1>got a rumble Royal Rumble. And now they want the
<v Speaker 1>first WrestleMania outside of the US and Canada. No chance
<v Speaker 1>in hell. Let's be honest over here. For example, we
<v Speaker 1>sold out arenas for house shows in the UK for decades,
<v Speaker 1>so I think we've earned our yearly pl E event
<v Speaker 1>where they get two. Why because they have unlimited money.
<v Speaker 1>It's actually andalus. I effing hate Crown Jewel, and I'd
<v Speaker 1>still hate it even if they changed the name. Once
<v Speaker 1>the ten year Saudi deal expires, which I think is
<v Speaker 1>in twenty twenty seven, you'd think they won't go back
<v Speaker 1>there for a while until then. If twenty twenty seven,
<v Speaker 1>if it is twenty twenty seven, and considering it's two
<v Speaker 1>years of shows per year, then we have another six
<v Speaker 1>painful shows to go after Crown Jewel in a few weeks.
<v Speaker 1>It is a depressing thought, definitely is Nobody seems to
<v Speaker 1>enjoy these shows. Even if big matches happen there, it
<v Speaker 1>still doesn't help me, And in fact, it makes me
<v Speaker 1>resentful when Gee's dream matches happen in Saudi, because how
<v Speaker 1>many times have we seen them be absolute disasters? How
<v Speaker 1>many times now they're putting champion versus champion that should
<v Speaker 1>not happen unless it organically happens. Number one, they completely
<v Speaker 1>blew up what the Royal Rumble meant by having the
<v Speaker 1>greatest Royal Rumble with forty men. It did give us
<v Speaker 1>the tightest world slide. So there are some silver line,
<v Speaker 1>but generally it is just here's what it's about. Dino
<v Speaker 1>and you briefly touched on it. I hate to say it,
<v Speaker 1>but it's true. It's all about the money. It is money, money, money, now.
<v Speaker 1>It's money up until the point though, I mean money
<v Speaker 1>does talk, and it talks very extensively and deeply to
<v Speaker 1>a for profit organization that is making hand over fist
<v Speaker 1>from Saudi, especially them being used as the propaganda arm
<v Speaker 1>during all of the events. How many videos do we
<v Speaker 1>need to see about how great the city of Riatt
<v Speaker 1>is and how beautiful the scenery is. Meanwhile, the women
<v Speaker 1>are forced to wear, you know, certain attire and can't
<v Speaker 1>compete in sporting events without wearing potato sacks, and I
<v Speaker 1>mean all the rest of it. We're all supposed to
<v Speaker 1>just turn a blind eye and be like, oh, wow,
<v Speaker 1>they have great sunsets, isn't that cool? No, no, it's not.
<v Speaker 1>So it's all about the money, though, do you know?
<v Speaker 1>That's what it's about here? It's about the my knee
<v Speaker 1>I hate and that There's just really no other way
<v Speaker 1>to put it. I would not be surprised they re
<v Speaker 1>up their deal as long as there's nothing insane going
<v Speaker 1>on where even the money can't help. Wwe justify why
<v Speaker 1>they're still in a deal with Saudi. Then I fully
<v Speaker 1>anticipate this going another five to ten. I just do
<v Speaker 1>because it is such a crazy amount of money they're getting.
<v Speaker 1>And in fact, if you're wondering, well, what are you
<v Speaker 1>talking about? How much money? Let me let me google
<v Speaker 1>this WWE and Saudi Arabia deal. Let's see how much
<v Speaker 1>this whole thing's worth. This whole thing and this is
<v Speaker 1>let's see here according to the sportster, right, so the sportster,
<v Speaker 1>I mean you can look at other places, but they're
<v Speaker 1>saying that this deal is upwards of one hundred million
<v Speaker 1>dollars a year, which comes out to fifty million a show,
<v Speaker 1>fifty million show. It gives w this ten year deal
<v Speaker 1>gives WWA a whopping five hundred million dollars in revenue.
<v Speaker 1>This is calling according to the Newman University. And I'm
<v Speaker 1>trying to see if there's any other suffices to say.
<v Speaker 1>It's a crap ton of money. It's a ton, and
<v Speaker 1>they don't want to give that up. They just don't.
<v Speaker 1>You can see why though. It's easy as fans since
<v Speaker 1>we don't see any of that money. We don't see
<v Speaker 1>any of it, so we're just to us it's it's
<v Speaker 1>monopoly money. But if you're WWE and this is a
<v Speaker 1>massive chunk of your revenue that would affect stock price
<v Speaker 1>and all the rest, you do have to think about it.
<v Speaker 1>On the outside, though, we sit there and judge WWE
<v Speaker 1>for doing it, because we're looking on moral grounds of
<v Speaker 1>what the Saudi government has done and continues to do,
<v Speaker 1>not just to women, but other areas as well. It's
<v Speaker 1>a tough call, but ultimately I understand why WWE does it.
<v Speaker 1>But it's hard to say if any of us were
<v Speaker 1>in that position, if we would deny fifty million a show,
<v Speaker 1>one hundred million a year, it's tough to say. It's
<v Speaker 1>easy to say unless you're in that position. Okay, was
<v Speaker 1>wrestle Mania thirty nine the last time Cody lost and
<v Speaker 1>clean I genuinely thought it might be, you know, it
<v Speaker 1>might be. I can't think of any other time he lost,
<v Speaker 1>So in my opinion, Gunther should probably win this one
<v Speaker 1>at Crown Jewel, as he lost more recently than Cody.
<v Speaker 1>It's the only thing I can go on. I anticipate
<v Speaker 1>this being kind of a probably either one of two things.
<v Speaker 1>A Cody victory over Gunther, which I think should not happen,
<v Speaker 1>or there's some funny business where Cody gets screwed by
<v Speaker 1>Randy Orton or Kevin Owens and he loses to Gunther.
<v Speaker 1>So Gunther picks up the victory, but it's tainted. I
<v Speaker 1>think they're still in the business of protecting Cody. All right,
<v Speaker 1>fun factor everybody, do you know? Let's see here, I
<v Speaker 1>lost my After thirteen years, w W announced that Bad
<v Speaker 1>Blood will be revived and held on June ly ninth,
<v Speaker 1>twenty seventeen. However, these plans were scrapped in fare the
<v Speaker 1>event we known as Great Balls of Fire. Of course,
<v Speaker 1>after twenty years since the old four event, Bad Blood
<v Speaker 1>was definitely definitively revived this year and the twenty seventh
<v Speaker 1>year anniversary of the first Bad Blood. I didn't know that.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't know.
<v Speaker 2>Why would they.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, you talk about going from one of the
<v Speaker 1>best named pay per views of all time to one
<v Speaker 1>of the worst, and I believe the main event for
<v Speaker 1>that was brock Leslie versus Samoa Joe, a highly underrated
<v Speaker 1>match that no one seems to be talking about and
<v Speaker 1>a rivalry that I think could have gone more than
<v Speaker 1>one match. Great great rivalry there, all right, So in
<v Speaker 1>the words of Jimmy USO at the end of SmackDown
<v Speaker 1>quote we need help. And with him showing up on Raw,
<v Speaker 1>the chess pieces are finally and officially moving into place.
<v Speaker 1>I'd assume all the pieces will be in place for
<v Speaker 1>the first SmackDown after Crown Jewel. Early prediction, we could
<v Speaker 1>have a potential serious pl of the Year contender to
<v Speaker 1>rival WrestleMania, especially if the Rock is in the War
<v Speaker 1>Games match. Just you wait until all they're all there
<v Speaker 1>face to face and then Samantha says, war Games begin. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>this is gonna be uh, it's gonna be crazy. I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what the rocks plans are. He just kind
<v Speaker 1>of showed up AND's like, hey, remember me, and he's like,
<v Speaker 1>all right, peace, I'll see you. You know, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what he's doing. We don't have an explanation other
<v Speaker 1>than the backstage rants he did about Cody and actually
<v Speaker 1>mentioned Stone Cold Steve Austin. He said he's this boy.
<v Speaker 3>Remember that.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, that actually happened. So it's gonna be crazy
<v Speaker 1>if the Rock is in there. We'll see if he is.
<v Speaker 1>I would actually think he is. And the reason is
<v Speaker 1>I say it with hesitation, but it would disperse the
<v Speaker 1>workload big time. You know, it's not something that's all
<v Speaker 1>placed on the rock. He doesn't have to be in
<v Speaker 1>tip tip tip tip tip shot shape to compete in
<v Speaker 1>that match, So he could still go in essentially roll
<v Speaker 1>out of bed and compete because the workload has dispersed
<v Speaker 1>so so much. All right, after listening to how we're
<v Speaker 1>pooling the on thed after Dark Show, I have to
<v Speaker 1>disagree about Bad Blood being pl e of the year,
<v Speaker 1>actually being better than Survivor Series. I think of everything
<v Speaker 1>mentioned above actually happens at Survivor series that I could
<v Speaker 1>it could match WrestleMania bat the absolute minimum would be
<v Speaker 1>on par not a level above bad Blood. Thinking about
<v Speaker 1>that potential or a Survivor series could bring gives me goosebumps.
<v Speaker 1>It's what we've been waiting for all year.
<v Speaker 4>All right.
<v Speaker 1>Well, yeah, Howard Pool, as you guys may or may
<v Speaker 1>not know, has taken over our after Dark show. And
<v Speaker 1>if you guys have other after darks that you want
<v Speaker 1>to throw in, please do so. And yeah, So, the
<v Speaker 1>idea that Bad Blood was the best of the end
<v Speaker 1>of the year, I think is arguable, but everything's subjective.
<v Speaker 1>You'll never convince anyone otherwise that they didn't love a show,
<v Speaker 1>you're never going to do it right. So lastly, Monday
<v Speaker 1>Night Raw, at the start of Cody when he was
<v Speaker 1>getting off his bus for some reason, was for a
<v Speaker 1>split second I thought it was John Cena. Because of that,
<v Speaker 1>I suppose Sena wears one similar the hat. Anyway, The
<v Speaker 1>one thing I wanted to bring up, though, was Cody's
<v Speaker 1>promo when he said, quote, I'm sure somebody will call
<v Speaker 1>me a politician, but there's nothing political about what I'm
<v Speaker 1>going to do next. Thank you all, very very very much.
<v Speaker 1>I instantly thought, my god, it's almost as if he
<v Speaker 1>heard one of your past episodes, took it to heart
<v Speaker 1>and was responding to you directly. Well, he's also in
<v Speaker 1>let's pretend in an imaginary world. That's what he did
<v Speaker 1>from this lonely podcaster here. Let's pretend because it's fun.
<v Speaker 1>He's trolling me, okay, or anybody else that says that
<v Speaker 1>for that matter, when they call him a politician, because
<v Speaker 1>what he just said immediately following saying he's not going
<v Speaker 1>to be a politician, or that he somebody will call
<v Speaker 1>me a politician, and then he says something very political,
<v Speaker 1>it's just it's trolling and he is exactly that. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know why we're all just applauding this political character.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it's just so proper and produced and just
<v Speaker 1>talks slowly and everything is. He's such a nice guy
<v Speaker 1>and he's friends with everybody. He is the definition of
<v Speaker 1>a stereotocal politician.
<v Speaker 2>He just is.
<v Speaker 1>And we're all cheering this. He's a clean cut literally
<v Speaker 1>from a visual standpoint, from an audio standpoint. In the ring,
<v Speaker 1>he doesn't cheat to win. He's wearing suits all the time. Again,
<v Speaker 1>his teeth are super white, and he's just the very metrosexual.
<v Speaker 1>And it's just he is a politician if you're going
<v Speaker 1>to create one in a factory. The way he speaks, walks,
<v Speaker 1>acts everything, everything mister relatable. He brings out all of this.
<v Speaker 1>It's almost as if he's running for office somewhere. I
<v Speaker 1>think also that's also why I dislike him so much
<v Speaker 1>as a character. Here's the thing, though, I would argue
<v Speaker 1>that a lot of what we're seeing on Cody Rhodes
<v Speaker 1>is really who he is. Okay, thanks to you, let's
<v Speaker 1>get to let's go to another patron and DJ says,
<v Speaker 1>as the downward spirals of Kevin Owens and Friday Nights
<v Speaker 1>on Friday nightts Maackdown and Xavier Woods. Un Raw continues.
<v Speaker 1>I like this slow burn approach of turning a former
<v Speaker 1>babyface to the dark side that Creative have been utilizing
<v Speaker 1>and having viewers interested what happens next. This is somewhat
<v Speaker 1>of a similar approach that Creative did for both Drew
<v Speaker 1>and Shinsky last year. Around this time, prior to the
<v Speaker 1>descent into the dark side of their characters, both guys
<v Speaker 1>had staled babyface personas that needed to be tweaked in
<v Speaker 1>an edge your side to their character. Remember Nakamura's mysterious
<v Speaker 1>vignette promos where he would be speaking in Japanese while
<v Speaker 1>the closed captions were in English as we were trying
<v Speaker 1>to figure out who Knakamura was talking about. Meanwhile, last year,
<v Speaker 1>McIntyre would transition from face to tweener to full blown
<v Speaker 1>heel with the reasons that he wanted to fight fro
<v Speaker 1>himself and not follow help his fellow babyface friends of Cody,
<v Speaker 1>Sant and Sammy just to name a few, against the
<v Speaker 1>og Judgment Day. Another reason for McIntyre's changed the dark
<v Speaker 1>side was that he was tired of losing the championship
<v Speaker 1>matches and he did not want to accept the newly
<v Speaker 1>jay Usso face turn at the time after what was
<v Speaker 1>the blood line, what they did to Drew in twenty
<v Speaker 1>twenty two and failing to win the championship at Clash
<v Speaker 1>at the Castle. Now back to Kevin Owens and Xavier
<v Speaker 1>woods descent into darkness, which in a way is justified
<v Speaker 1>because Woods is tired of losing matches and not being
<v Speaker 1>where he wants to be in his career, only to
<v Speaker 1>be pigeonholed with his stale New Day gimmick. Meanwhile, for
<v Speaker 1>Kevin Owens, with his past history with the og blood
<v Speaker 1>line and now the Rogue blood line, plus losing to
<v Speaker 1>Cody Rhodes at Bash in Berlin, he then attacks Cody
<v Speaker 1>and then attacks Orton the following week.
<v Speaker 2>To wrap up.
<v Speaker 1>I like this slow burned format of turning a wrestler
<v Speaker 1>from face to heal. It makes the wrestler become more
<v Speaker 1>relevant and the more intrigued to see what will happen next.
<v Speaker 1>It does. It's something that we don't see a ton now.
<v Speaker 1>Not every single time needs to be slow burn needs
<v Speaker 1>to be evolutionary. You can have those shock moments, and
<v Speaker 1>we should have those occasionally, those shock out of nowhere
<v Speaker 1>moments where you actually didn't see it coming and there
<v Speaker 1>were no hints of it prior, and there's just a
<v Speaker 1>shock turn. Yes, as long as it makes sense, we
<v Speaker 1>need those. I like those, we all do. There's nothing
<v Speaker 1>bigger that'll get the Internet more abuzz than a good
<v Speaker 1>old fashioned heel turn. I would argue they're more impactful
<v Speaker 1>than babyface turns. Heel turns are shocking. It invokes an
<v Speaker 1>immediate immediate emotion of rage, sadness, disappointment, all of it.
<v Speaker 1>I mean instantly, it's more violent of an emotion then
<v Speaker 1>oh my god, Yay, he's turning. You know, he's turning
<v Speaker 1>into a good guy. Like happiness isn't as shocking or
<v Speaker 1>as intense usually, so that's why heel turns. There's nothing
<v Speaker 1>better than a good heel turn. We need those. But
<v Speaker 1>you're right, these evolutionary, these kind of like where are
<v Speaker 1>they going? I'm not sure what this character is doing
<v Speaker 1>and you see and walk with them step by step
<v Speaker 1>into darkness is a much more thought out approach at times.
<v Speaker 1>It's one that we didn't see a who lot during Vince.
<v Speaker 1>It was just very much like, oh, this is a
<v Speaker 1>good guy or this is a bad guy.
<v Speaker 2>Op.
<v Speaker 1>But here comes a turn and sometimes the turns doesn't
<v Speaker 1>make sense. These are evolutionary and I like them in
<v Speaker 1>you know, of course everything in moderation. But all right,
<v Speaker 1>one last thing. Carrying Cross in a low key role
<v Speaker 1>on Raw has been really good. Even though he hasn't
<v Speaker 1>wrestled a lot and has not been in the mid
<v Speaker 1>card to make an event shot, title shot scene. He
<v Speaker 1>delivers really good promos and there's a mysterious element to
<v Speaker 1>his character. Plus, he has been the culprit behind both
<v Speaker 1>the current heel turns of the Miz and Xavier Woods Unraw.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully in twenty twenty five, the vision that he mentioned
<v Speaker 1>in his cryptic vignettes will come to fruition when he
<v Speaker 1>finally wins the championship, signing off, have a good weekend
<v Speaker 1>seeing in the discord chat for SmackDown and let's go Mets.
<v Speaker 1>Let me before Okay, I know you guys hate when
<v Speaker 1>I talk about some of you do hate when I
<v Speaker 1>talk about baseball, but I got talk about really quickly.
<v Speaker 1>I promise it'll be quick fast forward. If you don't
<v Speaker 1>want to hear any of the baseball talk for the
<v Speaker 1>next just literally two minutes. Okay, give me, give me
<v Speaker 1>a second. If you're a if you're a New York
<v Speaker 1>baseball fan today, on October eighteenth, I'm recording this just
<v Speaker 1>a little after lunchtime. Boy, you talk about utter shock
<v Speaker 1>on one side and utter just panic on the other.
<v Speaker 1>Shock with the Yankees and what happened there in Cleveland
<v Speaker 1>one of the most unlikely comebacks in postseason history, with
<v Speaker 1>Cleveland coming back on New York and both both bullpens implode.
<v Speaker 1>The shot by Noel will forever be remembered in Cleveland
<v Speaker 1>history and one of the greatest shots in post season history,
<v Speaker 1>following the two massively clutch home runs by Judge and
<v Speaker 1>of course the Gene Carlo Stanton, right, you hat Stanton
<v Speaker 1>and Judge go back to back. New York takes the
<v Speaker 1>lead and they in the ninth inning, and then.
<v Speaker 3>You have.
<v Speaker 1>The greatest no I shouldn't say the greatest, it's very
<v Speaker 1>over drama, over dramatic, but my god, the shot by
<v Speaker 1>Noel and then Fry who capped it off. Indians. Indians.
<v Speaker 1>Guardians win seven to five. The Yankees were a strike away,
<v Speaker 1>a strike away from going up three to zero, not
<v Speaker 1>out a strike away from going up three to zero
<v Speaker 1>and taking a complete stranglehold on the series. And now
<v Speaker 1>it's a series.
<v Speaker 2>Now.
<v Speaker 1>It's like the Yankees have been woken up, all right.
<v Speaker 1>The Yankees are now awake. They've they've been kind of
<v Speaker 1>sleepwalking through the series. This has now. This is now
<v Speaker 1>a fun series, not one that if you want to
<v Speaker 1>be just comfortable in if you're a Yankees fan, because
<v Speaker 1>two to one you can see all of a sudden's
<v Speaker 1>two two, and then everything's back to zero and then
<v Speaker 1>it's a best to three. It gets scary or real quick.
<v Speaker 1>Even though we were in we're in a commanding two
<v Speaker 1>one position still, but that one game could change everything.
<v Speaker 1>I still think the Yankees will win, maybe in six
<v Speaker 1>or seven. It could go seven. I could see the
<v Speaker 1>Indians even winning tonight. I keep saying Indians. Hell with it,
<v Speaker 1>it's the Indians. I don't care if there's still the
<v Speaker 1>Indians to me, I could see them winning winning tonight.
<v Speaker 1>Series is tied. Yankees win tomorrow, and then it goes
<v Speaker 1>back to New York. The Yankees up three to two,
<v Speaker 1>and then the uh, you know, the Guardians tied up
<v Speaker 1>three to three again, and we go to Game seven.
<v Speaker 1>This could be destined for seven games. It could be
<v Speaker 1>if the Indians win tonight, Guardians win tonight, it's going
<v Speaker 1>seven games. If the Yankees win tonight, it'll probably go
<v Speaker 1>five or six. All right, anyway, Mets, I'll just say
<v Speaker 1>this quickly. I know for all of you like, hey,
<v Speaker 1>this is wrestling, stop talking about baseball. I just need
<v Speaker 1>to say this again. It's my platform. I need to
<v Speaker 1>talk about the Mets quick You guys are in panic mode.
<v Speaker 1>Should you be in panic mode? Kind of? I mean,
<v Speaker 1>the Dodgers are one went away from totally crushing your dreams.
<v Speaker 1>Can the Mets win three in a row? They can,
<v Speaker 1>but the Dodgers, man, their offense is lighting it up
<v Speaker 1>right now, Kiki Hernandez. They've got decent starting pitching. Over
<v Speaker 1>the last couple of games here, the Mets haven't been
<v Speaker 1>able to get that big hit. They got ten hits
<v Speaker 1>last night, but haven't been able to get that hit
<v Speaker 1>with men on base, which is killing them, killing them,
<v Speaker 1>and they need performances from their big guys. They're big
<v Speaker 1>guys now need to step up. This is no longer
<v Speaker 1>a it'd be nice if you went no, this isn't
<v Speaker 1>now your elimination. Gotta win tonight. Got to win tonight
<v Speaker 1>or you're going home. So anyway, let's move on here.
<v Speaker 1>It's looking less and less likely for a Boer. But
<v Speaker 1>if the Mets can get three to two, then you're
<v Speaker 1>looking at okay. Now, we just got to tie it
<v Speaker 1>up and then anything could happen in a game seven,
<v Speaker 1>so we'll see. All right, back to wrestling. Okay, so's
<v Speaker 1>you just that annoyed? It's common dory. Okay, So let's
<v Speaker 1>talk to JK. I'm sorry, no, no, no, we have
<v Speaker 1>we have more patrons. We have because JK, I believe,
<v Speaker 1>is not a patron. So let's talk to those of
<v Speaker 1>you who are actually patrons. And this is about from Jeff,
<v Speaker 1>he said, wanted to talk about the female division for
<v Speaker 1>a second. I feel like the women's division right now
<v Speaker 1>is one of the worst it's been. We went from
<v Speaker 1>the nineties and early two thousands female era of the
<v Speaker 1>bronze panties making them look like more like models, to
<v Speaker 1>them being the top match of the night in the
<v Speaker 1>main event of WrestleMania, to now no one really caring
<v Speaker 1>about what's going on. I feel like Stephanie McMahon had
<v Speaker 1>a huge part in the success for the women's evolution.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not sure what changed. Maybe Steph has to come
<v Speaker 1>back and be the head of the women's division. Was
<v Speaker 1>having a debate with a friend at work and was
<v Speaker 1>wondering who would be your top five current female stars.
<v Speaker 1>Also quick early spoiler for Crown Jewel, brock Lezer comes
<v Speaker 1>back and interferes in the Cody Gunther match. I wouldn't
<v Speaker 1>be surprised if we don't see Jay join in on
<v Speaker 1>the bloodline until Survivor series. Like Randy last year, Gomets
<v Speaker 1>another Gomets boy. You Mets fans hang on hanging on
<v Speaker 1>by a hair right now in elimination, I'm rooting for you, though,
<v Speaker 1>I really am. I know, Oh you're Yankee Fain. You
<v Speaker 1>can't rove for the Mets. Why not again? I've gotten
<v Speaker 1>no ill will towards the Mets. I really don't, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think it's in the worst position it's been.
<v Speaker 1>I mean compared to comparatively to what I mean when
<v Speaker 1>they remain eventing WrestleMania thirty five. It's tough to say.
<v Speaker 1>What makes it bad? I guess when it's not being
<v Speaker 1>discussed and there's not a lot of airtime given to
<v Speaker 1>a lot of the females. Then yeah, it's a little
<v Speaker 1>bit more concerning. But say it's one of the worst
<v Speaker 1>it's ever been. I mean again, you alluded to bron panties.
<v Speaker 1>I mean that that was if you're looking for female wrestling,
<v Speaker 1>that was the worst it's ever been. Gravy bowl matches,
<v Speaker 1>pillow fights, sex shows, remember remember all that. Yeah, so
<v Speaker 1>that to me was the worst it's ever been if
<v Speaker 1>you're looking for women's wrestling. But I would say over
<v Speaker 1>the last several years it has been in a slow decline,
<v Speaker 1>and I would not attribute that to Ronda Rousey. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>I know that there's a there's a correlation, but it's
<v Speaker 1>not causation, right, meaning like there's a correlation that yeah, okay,
<v Speaker 1>Rona Rowsey leaves and the wrestling kind of also peters out,
<v Speaker 1>But it's not her leaving isn't causing that. I think
<v Speaker 1>it's just a lack of creative attention. It continues to
<v Speaker 1>be the issue of consistency with the women. I have
<v Speaker 1>shouted this from the rooftops when it comes to not
<v Speaker 1>just the idea that people want mid card belts for
<v Speaker 1>the women, but the women's tag team belts that are
<v Speaker 1>continuing to be in a harassment, the the fact that
<v Speaker 1>a lot of the women's matches are like one to
<v Speaker 1>two minutes long. Still they just need more attention given
<v Speaker 1>to them. I mean, look what happened to Bailey over
<v Speaker 1>the last couple of years. She's been completely a non
<v Speaker 1>factor and you could say, oh, well she won, Yeah
<v Speaker 1>she won, but then no one really cared. So as
<v Speaker 1>far as my five top five current female stars, hmm,
<v Speaker 1>how about this not no, in no particular order, I
<v Speaker 1>would say in my top five, Charlotte Flair, even though
<v Speaker 1>she's still not there. I would also say, yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>have to put Naya Jackson there. I really would, even
<v Speaker 1>though I am very hesitant. I really think that she
<v Speaker 1>has done a hell of a job. I would also say,
<v Speaker 1>real Ripley, gotta put Rea Ripley in there. Live Morgan
<v Speaker 1>three or four there. I'll give you two more, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm not putting. I'd say Bianca bell Air is another,
<v Speaker 1>and probably Becky Lynch if she's still active. So there,
<v Speaker 1>there you go. All right, let's go to our next
<v Speaker 1>patron and Alex. Alex the French guy. He says, I
<v Speaker 1>didn't experiment lately. I showed the cinematic segment of Cody
<v Speaker 1>and Roman to a girl that didn't watch wrestling at all.
<v Speaker 1>She doesn't like it. I wanted to know for her
<v Speaker 1>who was the good guy and who was the bad guy?
<v Speaker 1>You guessed that, she responded, Cody's the bad guy. This
<v Speaker 1>guy screams heal fashion all over You know what is?
<v Speaker 1>What is something that I can't relate to the character.
<v Speaker 1>He doesn't seem genuine. His face seems like he's emotionless,
<v Speaker 1>even with a smile. I don't feel sympathy or hate
<v Speaker 1>for his character, to be honest, I don't feel his
<v Speaker 1>emotion and his character at all. Yeah, I mean you'll
<v Speaker 1>look at him and the dude is he does screen heel?
<v Speaker 1>Who the hell wears suits? Is a babyface who wears
<v Speaker 1>suits in a professional wrestling environment unless you are representing management,
<v Speaker 1>I mean, like yeah, And if you're not, then you're
<v Speaker 1>just trying to be a d bag out dressing the
<v Speaker 1>next guy. You're trying to look at the party. You're
<v Speaker 1>supposed to dress for the job you want, not the
<v Speaker 1>job you have. Right is maybe is at his logic?
<v Speaker 1>Is that what we're supposed to believe?
<v Speaker 4>He?
<v Speaker 1>I mean his attire does anger me? And if you're
<v Speaker 1>if the girl that you know, I don't know, a girlfriend, friend, whatever,
<v Speaker 1>and you showed her this for the first time and
<v Speaker 1>she has felt that it is Cody who's the bad
<v Speaker 1>guy that tells you something. Somebody with the totally blank
<v Speaker 1>slate with no preconceived notions of who these people are,
<v Speaker 1>no idea who they are, that tells you something. So thanks, hell,
<v Speaker 1>all right, do we have any more? I think that
<v Speaker 1>might be it for the actual patrons. But let's get
<v Speaker 1>to Dennis, who has been a while. He says, my
<v Speaker 1>concentration was elsewhere, which is why you haven't watched. I
<v Speaker 1>got married last week to the beautiful Maria who's also
<v Speaker 1>a WWE fan. She has a crush on Drew McIntyre. Anyway,
<v Speaker 1>I laughed at the Crown Jewel title. I think a
<v Speaker 1>brand supremacy event would be a better idea, like Survivors
<v Speaker 1>series years ago, have raw versus SmackDown. If that's the case,
<v Speaker 1>thanks Matt. I'm drunk, So you waited until the end
<v Speaker 1>of this email to tell me you're drunk. You got
<v Speaker 1>to start with that. Yeah, then it makes it that's
<v Speaker 1>a big more funny. But also it is kind of
<v Speaker 1>hilarious that you waited. The last two words are I'm drunk.
<v Speaker 1>Oh God, I hope this is I hope you actually were.
<v Speaker 1>That makes it better. So you got married. First of all, congratulations,
<v Speaker 1>she has a crush on Drew. Okay, don't bring her
<v Speaker 1>to live events. Then at least for raw you'll be safe.
<v Speaker 1>And the crown jewel is a total joke. But I
<v Speaker 1>will say if I was to have to choose Crowndeel
<v Speaker 1>Championship or a brand Supremacy event, I would actually choose
<v Speaker 1>Crowndeel title. The reason is because the way they've handled
<v Speaker 1>years past of Survivors series. When it was brand supremacy,
<v Speaker 1>it had no consequences whatsoever. It was just this forced
<v Speaker 1>rivalry where everybody felt that just because they were drafted
<v Speaker 1>to a certain brand that they suddenly had they suddenly
<v Speaker 1>have unwavering loyalty to that brand because they were simply
<v Speaker 1>drafted there. Everyone wears their specific colored shirts and there's
<v Speaker 1>always a brawl at the end of the show and
<v Speaker 1>it's like, oh, this is gonna be a preview with Sunday.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, how are fans also supposed to care about
<v Speaker 1>brand supremacy. We've all watched Raw and SmackDown. Is anybody
<v Speaker 1>is a fan sitting there going, oh my god, No,
<v Speaker 1>I will never watch Raw never. I'm a SmackDown guy
<v Speaker 1>all the way. Nobody's doing that, not a single fan.
<v Speaker 1>So we're all supposed to as fans sit there and go,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know who to cheer for, and also what's
<v Speaker 1>on the line. So what I'd rather have a say,
<v Speaker 1>be horrific or the entire event be contrived? I think
<v Speaker 1>I choose the single match that is just fighting for
<v Speaker 1>a made up championship. Yes, all right, let's again a
<v Speaker 1>lot of emails about my Apple podcast The Idea, which
<v Speaker 1>I did talk about one last email here, No two
<v Speaker 1>more emails, No eight, one two, we'll find out. So
<v Speaker 1>one first and foremost, this is from Jay Kay. He says,
<v Speaker 1>I love listening to the podcast. Thanks for all the work. Well,
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate that. I was curious if anyone has visited
<v Speaker 1>the International Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame, located in Albany
<v Speaker 1>inside the MVP Arena. A vast amount of history in
<v Speaker 1>one spot. I just attended the dinner in the Hall
<v Speaker 1>of Fame induction this past weekend. Got to sit with
<v Speaker 1>the son of Harley Race, Harley's wife, an independent wrestler,
<v Speaker 1>Kayla Sparks. Justin Race was accepting for his father, got
<v Speaker 1>to meet some of the stars of yesterday, got to
<v Speaker 1>hang out with the Godfather at the bar, and here's
<v Speaker 1>some of the tales of his career. Some others in
<v Speaker 1>attendance where Tony at List, Tito Santana, and the Beast
<v Speaker 1>stand seven. Was just curious if you knew about this
<v Speaker 1>or any thoughts on the museum, if you have visited.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't visited, which is insane, right, thanks, Thanks Joe,
<v Speaker 1>I have I have not visited. And if you got
<v Speaker 1>to do that, that's awesome. And if it's literally, you know,
<v Speaker 1>like thirty minutes from my house and I haven't, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>I need to go visit this. I've known about it,
<v Speaker 1>but I never actually went. And it's just a shame.
<v Speaker 1>I bring great shame to my home by not doing this.
<v Speaker 1>So no, and that's really cool. You got to hang
<v Speaker 1>out with the Godfather, who's got so many stories. It's
<v Speaker 1>just so many. You listen to him. He was on
<v Speaker 1>The Undertaker's podcast. I mean him and Undertaker are really
<v Speaker 1>tight Mark Hallaway and they have some great stories together
<v Speaker 1>and that's awesome. You got to hang out with Hallayr.
<v Speaker 1>Harley's wife and you know Tony atlist to Tito Santana.
<v Speaker 1>That's that's really cool. I'm jealous. I have not visited
<v Speaker 1>to answer your question, all right, so that'll that doesn't
<v Speaker 1>here for the emails. I'll now pass it along here
<v Speaker 1>to the voicemails and see who we got.
<v Speaker 5>Hello doing to me podcast world.
<v Speaker 4>This is DJ colesmel Back added again on your mailback
<v Speaker 4>show records.
<v Speaker 2>You live on a Wednesday board and you know what
<v Speaker 2>time it is. It's time to.
<v Speaker 3>See his name man, he peers.
<v Speaker 2>I believe in Joe Hendry. I believe in Joe Hendry.
<v Speaker 2>Bes right, folks, Joe Hendry is his name.
<v Speaker 4>As I take it to my fourteenth episode of the
<v Speaker 4>Joid Report, as I've recorded you for my undisclosed location,
<v Speaker 4>Let's take it to what took place this past Thursday
<v Speaker 4>night on a TV taping of TEENA for Wrestling, as
<v Speaker 4>we had Joe Hendry and Nick Nemet in the ring
<v Speaker 4>for a faceoff as they get ready for their championship
<v Speaker 4>matchup at Bound for Glory, which is happening next week Saturday, Folks,
<v Speaker 4>October twenty sixth Live from Detroit, Michigan. Joe Hendry mentions
<v Speaker 4>in this face off that after defeating guys like Josh
<v Speaker 4>Alexander and Frankie Kazerin, he feels worthy to be a
<v Speaker 4>number one contender to face Nick nem for the championship.
<v Speaker 4>And after the trialser tribulations, the ups and downs of
<v Speaker 4>the year, are failing to become the NXT champion, are
<v Speaker 4>failing to become the TEENA World heaweod champion at slimmer Versity.
<v Speaker 4>Here is now another opportunity for Joe Hendry to become
<v Speaker 4>the new TNA.
<v Speaker 2>World Heaywead Champion. But does this happen?
<v Speaker 4>As Nick Nemat says in the faceoff, he does not
<v Speaker 4>want to give up on this championship, but he sees
<v Speaker 4>that Joe Hendry is thriving in TNA. The people love him,
<v Speaker 4>the crowd is always chanting, we believe. So is this
<v Speaker 4>the moment for Joe Hedger to become the new champion
<v Speaker 4>or will Nick nemet aka doves a well he retained. Anyway,
<v Speaker 4>they both get interrupted by First Class, which is a
<v Speaker 4>tag team of AJ Francis and Casey Navarro.
<v Speaker 2>If you remember Aj Francis from WWE.
<v Speaker 4>He was known as Top Dollar aka or as I
<v Speaker 4>like to call him, Top Flopper. They come into interrupt
<v Speaker 4>both Nick Nemant and Joe as.
<v Speaker 2>He has some issues. He still has some history with
<v Speaker 2>Joe Hendry with.
<v Speaker 4>The past battles that they had earlier on this year
<v Speaker 4>and of course the battles that they had on social media.
<v Speaker 2>Now Here comes the Commissioner.
<v Speaker 4>Aka Santina Morella, as he comes in and officially makes
<v Speaker 4>a main event a first class of none other than
<v Speaker 4>AJ Francis and Casinovauer versus Joe Hendry and Nick nemt.
<v Speaker 4>So we fast forward to the main event and of
<v Speaker 4>course none other than Joe Hendry and Nick Nemck get
<v Speaker 4>the victory in seven minutes and nineteen seconds. As that
<v Speaker 4>comes to an end. But now we turn the page
<v Speaker 4>to next week, Saturday, October twenty six, as we are
<v Speaker 4>going to Detroit, Michigan also is.
<v Speaker 2>The home of the rapper Eminem.
<v Speaker 4>This week, none of that, Joe Hendry put out a
<v Speaker 4>post on social media inviting Eminem to be in his
<v Speaker 4>corner for this main event matchup. Will Eminem answer the call?
<v Speaker 4>Does Eminem believe in Joe Hendry let's see.
<v Speaker 2>But now I want to.
<v Speaker 4>Also mention one more thing about Joe Hendry. It was
<v Speaker 4>reported by Fight Full Select that his contract, Joe Hendry's
<v Speaker 4>contract with TNA par Wrestling will be coming to an
<v Speaker 4>end at the tail end I believe. I believe it's
<v Speaker 4>like July or let's say the mid area of twenty
<v Speaker 4>twenty five. Will he renew his contract with TENA par
<v Speaker 4>Wrestling or will he go on the free agency market
<v Speaker 4>with the possibility of rejoining WWE.
<v Speaker 2>Full time on NXT or on the main roster. Let's see.
<v Speaker 4>But anyway, it seems like there's a lot of open
<v Speaker 4>opportunities for Joe Hendry going forward.
<v Speaker 6>He'll becoming to d t the World Heavyween Champion. And
<v Speaker 6>let's see what his contract with his future will be
<v Speaker 6>after TNA. Does he stay at TNA or does he
<v Speaker 6>move back to WWE, whether its NXT or the main roster,
<v Speaker 6>whatever the case may be, this should be some exciting times.
<v Speaker 5>My friends in the world of Joe Hedgy. So remember
<v Speaker 5>always to say his name, believe, remember the words that
<v Speaker 5>Joe Hendry always says anytime, any place, at any show.
<v Speaker 2>At most importly, do this science sciencing. We believe you
<v Speaker 2>once again. This is your guy, DJ Coolsbo, have a
<v Speaker 2>blessed week. Be kid to one of those stays in
<v Speaker 2>my friends, believe a.
<v Speaker 1>Peace, great stuff. DJ. Appreciate all of your contributions here
<v Speaker 1>as we keep track of what the heck's going on
<v Speaker 1>with Joe Hendry, his TNA contract status, TNA World Champion,
<v Speaker 1>eminem being involved. Potentially that's news. I had no idea
<v Speaker 1>about that. That's pretty damn cool. I believe that if
<v Speaker 1>you are in TNA, you're lying to yourself. If you
<v Speaker 1>don't think that the that the best trajectory nine times
<v Speaker 1>out of ten for your career is ww E. You
<v Speaker 1>may have hang ups about it. You may have your
<v Speaker 1>perceptions about it. You may have some issues with how
<v Speaker 1>they handle talent. But here's the deal. They simply pay
<v Speaker 1>more money and they have infinitely much more viewership. His
<v Speaker 1>future should be with WWE. I don't think there'll be
<v Speaker 1>an issue there. Once his contract with DNA expires, he
<v Speaker 1>will likely be exclusive with WWE.
<v Speaker 2>Now.
<v Speaker 1>I still believe because Joe Hendry tells me to believe
<v Speaker 1>and wave my hands side aside, so I'm going to
<v Speaker 1>do that. We will see him at the Royal Rumble.
<v Speaker 1>That's where I think he'll make his debut to the
<v Speaker 1>main roster. That's my still what I believe. If not,
<v Speaker 1>the latest will be the Monday night rafter WrestleMania, where
<v Speaker 1>they introduce typically a few new big talents to the roster.
<v Speaker 1>It's kind of refresh things. So or he could be
<v Speaker 1>involved and will be involved in the draft when that
<v Speaker 1>takes place, you know, late next year. So all right, DJ,
<v Speaker 1>appreciate all of your your information. And it sounded like,
<v Speaker 1>by the way, you were not typically where you are.
<v Speaker 1>It sounded like you were in an inside where usually
<v Speaker 1>I imagine that you're walking on the road or walking somewhere.
<v Speaker 1>It sounds like you're always in a city or I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, on a sidewalk. This time, it definitely sounded
<v Speaker 1>like your undisclosed location was interior instead of exterior. All right,
<v Speaker 1>let's get to the next voicemail, and this is Brandon,
<v Speaker 1>So let's see what Brandon's has to say. Actually, actually
<v Speaker 1>hold the phone. I almost played a clip that actually
<v Speaker 1>is for after Dark, So those of you on after Dark,
<v Speaker 1>I'll be posting this in the next couple of days.

<v Speaker 2>Is some new.

<v Speaker 1>your show to me fifteen to twenty minutes, and that's
<v Speaker 1>what Brandon has done. I will play that for you

<v Speaker 1>great way to go add free and get everything you
<v Speaker 1>wanted for you can even come on the show. If
<v Speaker 1>you get up into the Monday Night Raw level and above,
<v Speaker 1>you get to come on the show and co host

<v Speaker 1>weekend review. You can take your pick if you're at
<v Speaker 1>the Monday Night Raw level and above on Patreon, but
<v Speaker 1>if not, you can still check us out and get
<v Speaker 1>yourself in the door for a dollar a month over
<v Speaker 1>at the NXT level, or check out Apple Podcasts and
<v Speaker 1>go ahead for you there. All right, let's actually go
<v Speaker 1>to Alex the French guy. I know he's here, so
<v Speaker 1>let's say what he has to say for the voicemail portionere.
<v Speaker 3>I asked the French guy. Here your current you'r peen
<v Speaker 3>en peen. I saw your I heard your your call,
<v Speaker 3>Matt for the Astiduct Show. To send you a a show.
<v Speaker 3>I will work not now, of course, but in some
<v Speaker 3>weeks I will work on a subject. But before that
<v Speaker 3>I will search for a bet of Mic to send
<v Speaker 3>you the show. I have some some ideas. First is
<v Speaker 3>the financial aspect of WWE, and working in finance myself.
<v Speaker 3>I find it interesting for me maybe, and I will
<v Speaker 3>try to make it as interesting as possible. And yeah,
<v Speaker 3>but for today, my subject today is just to continue
<v Speaker 3>a little bit more about the discussion of who is
<v Speaker 3>going to defrom Coley Roads in the near future. So
<v Speaker 3>what we're looking for is WrestleMania. I don't think he
<v Speaker 3>will drop the title at WrestleMania at all because and
<v Speaker 3>I don't see him turning heel during the title reign.
<v Speaker 3>I think he will drop it to A or maybe. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>I fantasy booking on I'm fantasy booking on the Cody
<v Speaker 3>Roads certain heel while having the tattle lately. Also, I've
<v Speaker 3>been listening to Best at Radio saying that they screams
<v Speaker 3>heel the promo segment the video package that we were
<v Speaker 3>seeing with Roman Reigns clearly indicates that it's kind of
<v Speaker 3>a heel if you put in him with Roman Reigns.
<v Speaker 3>They said also that during this video package, during the arena,
<v Speaker 3>they were cheering for Roman Rains and not Cody Roads.
<v Speaker 3>So yeah, my fintashy booking. Once again, I don't think
<v Speaker 3>he will drop the title to Rock. I don't think
<v Speaker 3>it's even a possibility. Really. The other thing is, once again,
<v Speaker 3>Drew McIntyre is the man to do this job to
<v Speaker 3>beat Cody Roads.
<v Speaker 7>He deserves it because, let's face it, with Roman Rains,
<v Speaker 7>with the bloodline, sorry, with the Rock coming back, the best,
<v Speaker 7>the best story and I'm the best.
<v Speaker 3>Superstar this year is Drew McIntyre. With so many superstars
<v Speaker 3>in theww right now, that's a lot to say. So
<v Speaker 3>once again, I think what it was drop the title
<v Speaker 3>to Drew McIntyre, maybe Seth Rawins, but no one else
<v Speaker 3>of those two. I don't think so, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rawins,
<v Speaker 3>make it happen as soon as possible, or turn coldie heal.
<v Speaker 1>Bye guys, Alex, thank you for calling in as you
<v Speaker 1>do every week, and I'm looking forward to your contributions
<v Speaker 1>here for the after Dark Show. That's really an open
<v Speaker 1>call to anybody who has a quality mic, which means
<v Speaker 1>just external. I don't need a super high quality five
<v Speaker 1>hundred dollars microphone, as I've said, you can get them,
<v Speaker 1>but I don't want anyone expending any money that you
<v Speaker 1>don't want to. Okay, but I also want the sound
<v Speaker 1>to be good quality. So if you are willing to
<v Speaker 1>make a small investment to get a good microphone, or
<v Speaker 1>if you already have one, great send me a fifteen
<v Speaker 1>twenty minute show. Let me know what the topic is
<v Speaker 1>and what the title of the show is and send
<v Speaker 1>it to me and Alex looking forward to hearing that.
<v Speaker 1>And again, I don't want to burden you with anything,
<v Speaker 1>you know, EXPENSEI wise, like, oh, you got to purchase
<v Speaker 1>the do you know? I feel bad telling people you
<v Speaker 1>got to spend your own money to get on the show.
<v Speaker 1>It's not really the case when it comes to the
<v Speaker 1>after Dark It just if you listen to a show,
<v Speaker 1>wouldn't this is just the majoraty of you, everybody listening.
<v Speaker 1>Wouldn't you want crisp, clear audio. That's the only thing
<v Speaker 1>we have. We don't have video right now, as much
<v Speaker 1>as we'd like to. We have video clips here and
<v Speaker 1>there on Patreon, but ninety five percent of our stuff
<v Speaker 1>is audio, so you want it as good and high
<v Speaker 1>quality as possible. So your comments about Drew McIntyre being
<v Speaker 1>the one to take down Cody Rhods, bring it on, man,
<v Speaker 1>I'm all for it. The question becomes, how do they
<v Speaker 1>get them over there right because they're on separate brands
<v Speaker 1>right now. They could just go the road of don't care,
<v Speaker 1>which they've done already, of the don't care method about
<v Speaker 1>the draft rules and he just shows up, No one cares.
<v Speaker 1>They just go always from Raw and he's here and
<v Speaker 1>he's challenging for the championship. He turned you know, he
<v Speaker 1>attacked Cody Rhodes and now it's Drew versus Cody. They
<v Speaker 1>could take that road, and unfortunately they have done that before.
<v Speaker 1>Remember when Randy Orton challenged Gun Through I remember that.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, so there's that road. They could also just
<v Speaker 1>say there's a massive trade or a temporary pass that
<v Speaker 1>he has from Raw to SmackDown, but for him to
<v Speaker 1>be the one to do it, Hell, yes, bring it on.
<v Speaker 1>And I would also put another name out there, Randy Orton.
<v Speaker 1>Now it sounds crazy. He's a legacy star if they
<v Speaker 1>can add as times passed, when's the last time Randy
<v Speaker 1>Orton held the championship? How many years has it been?
<v Speaker 1>How many years has it been since Randy Orton has
<v Speaker 1>held the championship? Quite a long time. Randy Orton to
<v Speaker 1>be the guy, including on top of the fact that
<v Speaker 1>he just signed a deal with WWE. I believe it
<v Speaker 1>is three four five years. He's in incredible shape. He's
<v Speaker 1>in He's got more than enough of the knowledge to
<v Speaker 1>be champion. You're seeing the best version of him right now.
<v Speaker 1>He's mature enough to handle the situation now, whereas in
<v Speaker 1>the past his demons were well documented. Everything fits on
<v Speaker 1>top of it. The story, the story with Cody Rhodes
<v Speaker 1>and Randy Orton just totally rights itself. You don't need
<v Speaker 1>to really worry about it being a bad story. I
<v Speaker 1>just I'm not saying it's going to happen. I'm saying
<v Speaker 1>that it's at least here my dog market in the background.
<v Speaker 1>It's at least plausible. It's plausible that he does beat
<v Speaker 1>Cody Rhoads. So Randy Orton, I would throw into the
<v Speaker 1>at least the conversation Drew is absolutely one. If they
<v Speaker 1>can get him over on the same brand as Cody,
<v Speaker 1>then yes, yes, yes, okay, So thanks so much, Alex.
<v Speaker 1>I appreciate your contributions and looking forward to hearing from you.
