Episode 78 - The Ynnari pt 1 - Ynnead, Yvraine, and the battle of Biel Tan

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, everyone gets touched by it.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's really, really cool.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the, the problem is like, do you classify psychic awakening as part of it?

[SPEAKER_00]: Brad's a very good coach at not only teaching people, you know, hey, do this, don't do that, but more importantly, the why.
[SPEAKER_00]: why you do things with a game, how to play the game better, ways to actually just improve your general game play.
[SPEAKER_00]: Little tips and tricks are at the start of each turn, the beginning of each, at the middle of each turn to kind of help you stay on point, so you can successfully win your games.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, but with that, onto the cast.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, the unari.
[SPEAKER_00]: Boom.
[SPEAKER_00]: All right, as Brandon were discussing it to open up of the cast, the Yenari are one of the newest storyline in the game, and they came in with a hell of a bang.
[SPEAKER_00]: Both positive and negative on the player base, depending on which models you own.
[SPEAKER_00]: Did you own the Yenari models?
[SPEAKER_00]: Very positive impact.
[SPEAKER_00]: Did you not?
[SPEAKER_00]: The story was amazing.
[SPEAKER_00]: The mechanics were so bad.
[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
[SPEAKER_00]: them a bit, but they're awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: The mechanics were fantastic.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, all right, so between our last cast on the Harley Quinn's and our fourth cast on the Eldar, we covered a bit on the start of the Yenari, but just to kind of recap for everybody here's kind of a quick hit.
[SPEAKER_00]: During one of the seances within his craft rules and safety circuit, Eldrad noticed there was a distance, this and the heartbeat came from the insights.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you're not wrong.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a sign.
[SPEAKER_00]: Brad loves eldrads.
[SPEAKER_00]: So if I anything I do about him doesn't make him sound like he's action hero, we get super upset about.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's nice feel like he's got the Ouija board knees with his other feet.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's probably, honestly, if they, if they had cartooned this up, he would have been sitting like legs crossed.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, he would be uploading.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just floating with the right around him.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is a pretty lame scene.
[SPEAKER_00]: By the way,
[SPEAKER_00]: The heartbeat that Eldrade heard of, it's not speaking doom, but it was more kind of coalescence of dead souls that are forming into one.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he did his little montage of reading and discovered that this is the sign of a new God being formed, the God of the dead.
[SPEAKER_00]: The greatest challenge the Eldar have on their quest of how to undo the fall is how do you kill a God?
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is one of the biggest
[SPEAKER_01]: biggest things that is in Eldar life because while Slonesh still exists, every soul not captured and gone into a soul jump and going into the infinity circuit is destroyed by she who thirst.
[SPEAKER_01]: Slonesh is eating all helled our souls and well, no Eldar is safe while Slonesh still exists.
[SPEAKER_01]: She was born from
[SPEAKER_01]: millions of all of our souls and she has claimed stake on all of them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone that's that has been born will be born everything else until Sanesha's dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: That is why they're considered a dying race because oh yeah, there's somebody out there that
[SPEAKER_01]: Rips your actual soul from you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Is there a soul?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, and so on as it makes them delicious and put some on top of Sundays.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, but the solution to that is how about we just make our own God and have that God kill the evil God.
[SPEAKER_00]: So Eldred and Eldred just found one.
[SPEAKER_00]: So this point Eldred sets out a call to get to the bottom of like how to bring this God to life.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the Alaita craft world's pathfinders had just such an answer.
[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks to their Phoenix Lord, who was a I believe was in oh he was resin and I just lost him in the new codex and I'm not cool about that if it's not if it's not unclear.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the lay talk discovered just that just outside the edge of the original Eldar space is a world name the messness.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's now an imperial world which you know is an issue.
[SPEAKER_01]: That we're not going to get super important, but also it's going to get super confident.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, super awkward.
[SPEAKER_00]: So that world had a moon on it.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the moon was covered in sand.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the sand wasn't sand.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was actually the leftover souls of dead Eldar.
[SPEAKER_00]: So effectively, when Slinash was born, and covered us a lot throughout the cast, that powerful psychers when they're destroyed,
[SPEAKER_00]: They fragment into shards that we saw, zine-stit it, magnets did it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, that's what the avatar of Kane is.
[SPEAKER_00]: Quite a few of them do this.
[SPEAKER_00]: It turns out that every elder or anything that's like the powers and the power as we happen to as well.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so this moon is covered in a sand that is effectively made up of billions of dead Eldar, but not like their ashes, the remnants of their psychic powers, which makes this moon an incredible psychic amplifier.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Eldrad decides to run over there.
[SPEAKER_00]: So before he does this, though, he's going to channel, and we talked about this in the last cast, all of the craft world's infinity circuits, all of them, by the way, not one or two, all of them, to focus in this one area.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to pump the dead souls in the infinity circuits via psychic powers into a moon that's basically covered in psychic energy.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the goal is this should may create enough psychic energy to pull you need into reality.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's only consciousness.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, this is also a set of only talked about in the last time, but I need to reiterate it because this is such an all in on your bat.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it doesn't work.
[SPEAKER_01]: You just went.
[SPEAKER_01]: Whoops, a Daisy.
[SPEAKER_01]: I effectively killed all of our ancestors.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, good news if it doesn't work.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Eldard.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say they're better.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of players in the game who wish that this hadn't worked because it would have removed Eldar from the game.
[SPEAKER_00]: It would have been the elder start of eighth edition.
[SPEAKER_00]: There are no Eldar anymore.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_00]: That was what it gone.
[SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, that obviously didn't happen.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Eldar all traveled on the moon to begin their ritual.
[SPEAKER_00]: The moon, or but did an imperial planet.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Eldar had a plan.
[SPEAKER_00]: The best thing to do is, with us, we're going to sneak onto this moon and do a massive event there.
[SPEAKER_00]: What we should do is draw a ton of attention to the system by randomly attacking a world, a massive hero world, and not just attacking it like a little bit of a skirmish, full-blown invasion of just anarchy and death.
[SPEAKER_01]: Everything about Eldrade's plan was magnificent, except for this, and this was cataclysmically stupid.
[SPEAKER_00]: They they launched an attack on an imperial planet that's just a port.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not well defended with a full blown L.D.R.
[SPEAKER_00]: Force and they start wrecking.
[SPEAKER_00]: Just give you a wrecking shop.
[SPEAKER_00]: They couldn't have done this with like four wave serpents in a prison.
[SPEAKER_00]: But then they sent everything and also it happened to be really close to one of the deathlots watch station.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so there's dress call goes out.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the death watch answer and like, wait, what's going on?
[SPEAKER_00]: How many Eldar are there?
[SPEAKER_00]: And watch Captain Artemis happens to be the watchmaster there and realizes that this obviously is much more important.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Eldar would never attack a port city with this level of fury unless they had some strategic value.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he grabs all of his death watch and runs over there.
[SPEAKER_00]: Upon arriving in the domestic system, he realizes that the Eldar are attacking the planet, but they're holding a massive force back and circling this moon co-heria.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is another reason, both of the sides are being dicks at this point in time because he goes, I think they're doing up there doing something fishy on the moon and just goes to the moon while they continue to pound town the planet.
[SPEAKER_00]: He couldn't have cared less, but the planet, he just chose, they're up there something to be fair though.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is death watch, they didn't care about the people on the planet.
[SPEAKER_00]: But death watch was there, go, what does he know's up to?
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go stop that and look around and wait.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just so funny because they're like, we're still getting murdered.
[SPEAKER_01]: They went, yeah, but they're
[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm going over this way, and it's really important up there.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I will say that there were far seers, forces of Harley Quinn's Eldar, Captain Artemis just ran through the entire machine.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just destroyed them all.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's all ends in classic Eldar fashion where Artemis just, and it's like, like, ruined the Eldar.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the Eldar at the end, the last one speaks to is actually a death gesture who is leading the Harley Quinn's and looked at Artemis and it's like,
[SPEAKER_00]: pleading with him to put aside his, you know, hatred so that they could, you know, because what they're doing here would end chaos and Artemis just shoots her in the head.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is because Artemis and classic Eldar Eldar could have just made a call and being like, hey, guys, we do this thing on the moon.
[SPEAKER_00]: Don't laugh with it because if you do, we will end you.
[SPEAKER_00]: But if you don't,
[SPEAKER_00]: good news we're going to kill she who's thirsty instead they just decided to wreck shop and then got wrecked back so the ritual ends and it kind of fails sort of what it does is in it again
[SPEAKER_00]: You can read this however you want.
[SPEAKER_00]: The way I kind of read this was that it brought in a little bit of consciousness and that consciousness as it was forming on the moon, the war and the moon just fired the consciousness back through the galaxy and like almost all that comet.
[SPEAKER_01]: I feel that in my this is completely just my take on it.
[SPEAKER_01]: was that you need is awake in the way that the Emperor's now awake shattered a bit, knowing things but not knowing how to deal with it, and was looking for a way to interact.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I've viewed it as a case.
[SPEAKER_00]: She now, I got sort of almost a insulin ash sensor where she now had a taste for reality and was searching for a way to enter reality.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, anything.
[SPEAKER_01]: So you're kind of to be honest with you.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just kind of how you want your personal.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Take it out.
[SPEAKER_01]: You want because you need's got one out of way.
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: So onto your brain.
[SPEAKER_00]: So your brain was born on BL-TAN.
[SPEAKER_00]: She walked the path, the warrior and the path, the warlock.
[SPEAKER_00]: She was actually a dancer at one point, not like the creepy sense, like more and more of a death.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, then she was back in BL-TAN.
[SPEAKER_00]: She was a dancer.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Wendy's, it wasn't like she was a dancer.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what's she with?
[SPEAKER_00]: The club?
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, no, she had, like, the elder, the circus-a-lay stuff is big with them.
[SPEAKER_01]: And again, remember, elder, crazy on stuff when they do anything it has to be to the maximum perfection.
[SPEAKER_00]: The full history of your range, we really don't know.
[SPEAKER_00]: But when we know that at some point, like a lot of craft rolled out, she followed all these different paths, and like a lot of craft rolled out her, who are part of BL-TAN, walked away.
[SPEAKER_00]: BL-TAN are very fiercely pro-EL-DAR.
[SPEAKER_01]: in the fact that they're probably the craft world that's totally okay with the most collateral damage of not.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that the L ten believe that what's happened to the Eldar is a blip in their history.
[SPEAKER_00]: They recognize, you know, their viewpoints effectively after we kill slenesh and the rest of chaos, we're going back to our former glory and ruling the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so this point, they're the most militant branch because they're effectively preparing both to kill slenesh, but also to reconquer the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's just retake their proper place in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's take back their properties, what is how they're doing.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's pretty rough.
[SPEAKER_00]: The issue, though, is that the lot, BL-TAN are the most aggressive.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's actually the middle of the talk, or some of the most aggressive around, main worlds.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, around main worlds, but also on following the path.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're most hardcore and falling the path.
[SPEAKER_01]: They have the most aspect more as many grapplers.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: So what happens when you're like that is eventually people leave because they kind of get sick of it.
[SPEAKER_00]: So at some point, you've ran less.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's the crazy part.
[SPEAKER_01]: When you have the most OCD people in the galaxy and then you up that and then you go, you guys are a little too hardcore even for me.
[SPEAKER_01]: I got to go.
[SPEAKER_00]: So you've ran leaves.
[SPEAKER_00]: You've ran leads to follow the path of an outcast.
[SPEAKER_00]: At some point, she joins a course air fleet, which are just elder pilot pirates.
[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, like any pilot life of pirate can be kind of dangerous.
[SPEAKER_00]: So she ended up in a meeting.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then you'd need, made her flee.
[SPEAKER_00]: In the last place, she could go at this point because she left her craft world and now her pirate fleet is killing her.
[SPEAKER_00]: She went to Kamer and he enjoyed a witch girl.
[SPEAKER_00]: She is the most crazy fact.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah, so let's let's let's I think we're under selling it.
[SPEAKER_00]: So she's in BL tan doing aspect warrior BL tan and we're a lot and succeeding.
[SPEAKER_00]: So she's successful warlock.
[SPEAKER_00]: So she's a great psycho.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's an incredible fighter because she was, I want to say it was a dire avenger.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not mistaken.
[SPEAKER_00]: I can't remember.
[SPEAKER_00]: I can't remember.
[SPEAKER_00]: I can't remember.

[SPEAKER_01]: I can't remember.

[SPEAKER_00]: So she's now leading an entire witch cult.
[SPEAKER_00]: So she's doing pretty well.
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, all good things come to an end though.
[SPEAKER_00]: And eventually, she makes such a name for herself as a fighter and amongst the witch cult that they organize a fight for her in the arena against Lilith Hesperax, which is no one beat the Lilith.

[SPEAKER_01]: No one even comes close.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Lilith refuses to take combat drugs because it makes her kill people too fast.

[SPEAKER_00]: So in order to fight Lelleth, though, your brain has to go through a trial.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is a little bit kind of lame.

[SPEAKER_00]: So you're rain goes through a bunch of trials in the arena where she's fighting witches, not one on one, like waves of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: She took on Inkubai, and out of it her Kudagra is she fought a hive tyrant.
[SPEAKER_00]: Which?
[SPEAKER_00]: How?
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, how did your car be picked up behind?
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's like how you keep a high tire because it's linked to the hive.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they're in the web way, so you assume that.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I wouldn't take the hive turn.

[SPEAKER_00]: Beats your brain so badly and you're, and she's so distained by your brain, by reverence fighting ability, that she won't even kill your brain.
[SPEAKER_00]: She just beats her and she gives her a couple of mortal wounds and just walks away.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then leaves your brain to be dealt with by some of Lois.
[SPEAKER_00]: hangar runs or what is random here's the thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because this is right about the time when Lele opened up the package of plot armor.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, this was a privilege by a priest.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, she was, she was, so there's a priestess of Morah High, who is the, the elder god of fate.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this priestess is there.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's coming, it, it, it, the fire.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I said, like, a project, hey, let me help you.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, I'm going to kill you in honor of Morah Hague.
[SPEAKER_00]: And with
[SPEAKER_00]: What little energy left, your range starts fighting this priestess, but she's just so heavily wounded that she's effectively dying while fighting off this priestess, who she should have killed by the way, like a myth, a millisecond.
[SPEAKER_00]: Your range is still an incredible warrior, and this priestess is a woman with a sword.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's got my way to describe it.
[SPEAKER_00]: All of a sudden, though, is your range about to die because she just has no energy left.
[SPEAKER_00]: This shooting star is how I view you need.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's flying us galaxy, just slams into your brain.
[SPEAKER_00]: And what I say slams into, I don't mean like, I feel the power growing inside me.
[SPEAKER_00]: There was an explosion in the arena.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she killed me.
[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody fell off.
[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone fell to the ground.
[SPEAKER_00]: Everything near her was evaporating.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just just like, yeah, she set up a new effectively as as you need hits her and your brain gets back up.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not really your brain anymore.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's now a elder.
[SPEAKER_00]: who is imbued with the power of a god, more so than an avatar of cane.
[SPEAKER_00]: At this moment in time, she is the most powerful Eldar in the galaxy, I think technically she still is.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, in the lower right in like the early eight edition, she she still she's still really going to be wrong, but I have a we'll argue about the story stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: Things like that like that's fair.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it is not a rule suck.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean like maybe two two damages not not not what she's she's more powerful than the in-car she can cut through reality in the in the stories she's more powerful than the in-car defectively and the in-car is not even close.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, this is a bad news, by the way, for the people that are going to this arena, one, a small nuclear bomb went off.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then, well, it also kind of ripped a hole in the web way through it and the immatarium.
[SPEAKER_00]: So suddenly, as your brain's about to basically get murdered by all, everyone around her, because the authorities, these are the jukari.
[SPEAKER_00]: They can sense power, and they get power from pain, and the power that would be generated by murdering slowly your brain would be nice.
[SPEAKER_00]: but a giant hole above the arena opens and the force of slenash just comporing through.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know who'd love this?
[SPEAKER_00]: Vect.
[SPEAKER_00]: Super happy about this moment, by the way.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just wrecking Martin's city.
[SPEAKER_00]: Vect was there to watch a nice little like football game.

[SPEAKER_00]: And instead, he now has to marshal all of his defensive forces to handle a full-blown invasion of his city.

[SPEAKER_00]: So a couple of things that happened with your brain as she's running away.
[SPEAKER_00]: First off, she runs into an a model that I think looks amazing and the rules have just, ah, they're not.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he had a real affection because he always felt there was something destined for her.
[SPEAKER_00]: when she left BL Tan, he was really sad about that, you know, because this is one of his favorites.
[SPEAKER_00]: However, when he heard rumor that she joined a witch cult in the dark city, Larian decided to go there and to try and bring her back.
[SPEAKER_01]: And why is because for the BL Tan, for followers of the aspect, this, each aspect is like the purest form that you can focus on falling to
[SPEAKER_01]: not just dark out there, but dark out there, which cults is an abomination of what you've been fighting for.
[SPEAKER_00]: Totally.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the way they wrote this is basically there are comedies that are written about like this.
[SPEAKER_00]: So in order to get her back, he goes to the dark city because remember, she has joined a witch cult.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's now part of the jukari and she's representing evil.
[SPEAKER_00]: So what does he do?
[SPEAKER_00]: He joins the incubi.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this is a buddy come with it.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he becomes so upset, such a good incubi that he becomes the leader of an incubi shrine.
[SPEAKER_00]: At which point, but I know by his process, this is incubi shrine, start fighting for the courses of good news.
[SPEAKER_00]: He is now a murderer for higher.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, complete more eight, but he's one of the best.
[SPEAKER_00]: It takes on the new name of the Vesark.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was a blood cell, I can't remember the name, but it translates some way.
[SPEAKER_00]: So when you need is crashes into your brain and breaks the sky above camera.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Vesark knew it was your brain and began kind of running in that general direction.
[SPEAKER_00]: You have rain and her blood brides, which are the members of the witch called that folder, we're fleeing the dark city to try and find a web way.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're upgraded.
[SPEAKER_01]: The blood brides are like your next next level.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he grabs.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the this arc just starts fighting through demons and jukari to get to her side.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to kind of
[SPEAKER_00]: It is pretty awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: This whole scene is actually awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm trying to get this enough, but not spoil it so that when you guys go read the book, you're like, oh, I already know this is going to happen.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's there.
[SPEAKER_00]: It, there is skate from a dark city is super badass and would make a very good like animated series.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they, they're running fighting and they're hiding and they're fighting and they're hiding and they're hiding and they're hiding and they're hiding and they get, they get the course safely to help them out, which didn't have the crash into something in order to get out.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's amazing.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, but they do eventually,
[SPEAKER_00]: you rain her blood brides and the viss arch escape into the west.
[SPEAKER_00]: And a rag tag band of other people.
[SPEAKER_00]: Of random people who's a solitary randomly.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's a bunch of random.
[SPEAKER_01]: They literally get all these people.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: One quick side note as we kind of getting it's a bit more.
[SPEAKER_00]: I did read these stories years ago.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're about to tell get this cast is going to be us trying to tell the story all the way through.
[SPEAKER_00]: Some of these bits, it's possible we get out of order.
[SPEAKER_00]: I did a ton of research to try and help us keep this in order, but there's some sort of habit of these exact same time at different parts of the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I just I just want to open up with if you if this is the the your favorite story at all and I get something out of order, I apologize.
[SPEAKER_00]: We really did try.
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so I'm with that out of the way.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's move into your brain.

[SPEAKER_00]: So as soon as she leaves the dark city, your brain knew of the garden, your brain became fully conscious of you need inside of her.

[SPEAKER_01]: And she knows her mission now that she has to.
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's really cool because she's goes, she knows she has to get allies.
[SPEAKER_01]: And she's not afraid because of the life she's led.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she's going to get her allies from everywhere.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this story is also these books are fantastic, by the way.
[SPEAKER_00]: So she needs to raise this army of allies.
[SPEAKER_00]: Each day that went by, your brain's powers went up.
[SPEAKER_00]: not just for her, but also for her followers.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this becomes really important how she's able to raise more followers.
[SPEAKER_00]: You've raised not just imbued with the power of the God.
[SPEAKER_00]: She was, you need a link to the material.
[SPEAKER_00]: So Carla, like a demon prince, she can make a conduit for a dark, for a dark God.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he's powering everybody around her.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he needs bar.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so you've raised followers becoming viewed with this power, the power of strength from death.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's a real thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: And as they fight, you're raining her followers, they gain power from dead souls around them.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of more basic level.
[SPEAKER_00]: You absorb, you know, the souls of those who are dying in your presence, but it also might just be that you need his feasting on those souls as they're dying.
[SPEAKER_01]: And if he's like the elder version of Slonette, she's, yeah, she just is though.
[SPEAKER_00]: Come on.
[SPEAKER_00]: What's crazier to me though, is that the followers of your brain, so that the new Yenari, could actually power themselves up from the spirit zones that they carried their chest.
[SPEAKER_00]: They could actually reach into those stones and drop power out of the dead souls inside of them, which leads to these followers of Yenari becoming incredibly powerful, way more so than even a regular elder.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this has led some people to the postilatize that
[SPEAKER_00]: There is no you need.
[SPEAKER_00]: You need is just slenash, pretending to be you need.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're trying to get your souls.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you could just give them to me, that would be great.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't agree with that and we'll dive into that a bit later.
[SPEAKER_00]: But just say slenash though, did notice this and did not think it was cool.
[SPEAKER_00]: And she sends a lot of, yes, so Nash launches a full bore assault into tracking down your brain and kill her and kill you need.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I like this a lot because they go into the books of this, but it's a lot of the stories in psychic awakening.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Nash doesn't just send, hey, I sent a group of bounty hunters.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't busc from Stockholm or it wasn't checking your down.
[SPEAKER_01]: She said,
[SPEAKER_01]: Coltis, Emperor, anybody that worships Lanesh, she also sent a text through the Emitarium.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anytime they tried to psychic, she was trying to uncycically attack them.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a full frontal assault of everything.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Slanesh is right to be afraid.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Yenari are beginning to display powers that the Eldar had long ago.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like before the false, before well before that, when the Eldar were first really expanding into the galaxy,
[SPEAKER_00]: where they and their gods were connected.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because ever since the fight between Cain and Isha, the Eldar were observed by their gods.
[SPEAKER_00]: But before that, they were interacted with more aggressively.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like Kegarek with the Hi-liquids.
[SPEAKER_00]: The power of an Eldar God behind the Eldar launches them all the way up.
[SPEAKER_01]: Wildly so.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the seasons they won.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, one of the many reasons, first lunch is full assault on your reign or followers that she was also gaining followers hand over fist.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is because her stories, your reign stories and her actions appealed to all forms of the elder, because your reign, not some random person standing outside, like a lecturing password bars and philosophy, like you know, consider the lilies or the birds, had they got jobs, and they're just happy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Your reign was, you know,
[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't get that reference, um, sorry.
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, just leaving that out there.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a great reference and if you can't figure out what it's from.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is going to create some PTSD for some players.

[SPEAKER_00]: So you need is the God of death.
[SPEAKER_00]: Every time a life ends, energy is released, and that feeds her growth and by proxy her followers.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, because we said earlier, there's some fan theories that you need is actually Slonash in another form.
[SPEAKER_00]: The idea here is that Slonash has hidden herself and effort to trick the Eldar or to giving their souls over willingly.
[SPEAKER_00]: And by posing as us God of death, she's getting the Eldar to expose themselves and just gobbling up all his souls.
[SPEAKER_00]: giving them a little bit of power to convince them that she's actually helping, but in reality, it's playing a long game.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think this theory could align except I just disagree.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's no sense for the rest of the story.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's why it's, if you dig deeper into the story, it doesn't make sense.
[SPEAKER_00]: We factor on the crystal tone.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Emperor also doesn't interfere with this.
[SPEAKER_01]: I would have any, I would give some relevance to this if when Bobby G enters the story and he also interacts with the Emperor and the Emperor does not.
[SPEAKER_01]: Feel the team melt Bobby that melt Bobby G. Do a bill is if if that was it Bobby G would have been a That's good point.
[SPEAKER_00]: I was actually more just thinking about the story of the crystal tone we talked about last time where Keggerack is going to trick slenash into expanding all of her energy to save the Eldar
[SPEAKER_00]: I think this that's why like that's what this really is.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the black my theory is that the black library to Brad's time at the emperor.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's more the black library.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think the harlequin mode of known.
[SPEAKER_00]: The harlequin is when I'm saying it's it's both.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's what I'm saying is it there's so many checks that this goes through where there's like the entire harlekins would have been hunting down your rain to murder her if if this was slenish.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do this far.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you're not getting tricked by zane, you're not getting tricked by slenash.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the big one.
[SPEAKER_00]: If it can be better than the other is.
[SPEAKER_00]: So to our point about strength from death, so you need power is though not that dissimilar from other chaos gods.
[SPEAKER_00]: Her followers do things at fallen line with what she likes and they gain power as she gains sentience.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this kind of like couples through.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it just like like corn, corn can make a champion.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the more the more the champion does, the more stronger faster, tougher they get.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's touch back on a little bit though, because we talked about this.
[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody power about the in material is effectively doing the same thing as the cascades because the in material by itself is not evil.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's places of great evil here, but the empire itself was originally not, it's just a place of power.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it wasn't.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's, well, it's where all emotions and the galaxy would settle.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then as those emotions became more extreme, it became the entire galaxy said war.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, it's like an online online forum.
[SPEAKER_00]: It started out so surreal.
[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone was really helpful.
[SPEAKER_00]: And now, it is not going to the ground.

[SPEAKER_00]: So where this power is up is that as a scenario you're fighting and there's death around them, both from people who are their allies and those who oppose them, fuels this God of death.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this strength from death then becomes imbued into the followers.
[SPEAKER_00]: Unlike the jukari though from this power kind of is a waxing waning effect where jukari as they commit, you know, these acts, the power comes in, but slenash at the same time is pulling the power out.
[SPEAKER_00]: The unari get a super power up and it tends to last a lot longer with their massively stronger.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of like an old video game where you like you find something and become invincible for us.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, very, very small amount of time.
[SPEAKER_00]: The unariate, it's a good recovery.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a long, a power bill.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's the reason that they called it swimmers.
[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: So on the tabletop, it functioned exactly as that, oopsie GW.
[SPEAKER_00]: So every time GW decides to make a rule for the tabletop that lines up with the lore that it was written for, it goes horribly sideways.
[SPEAKER_00]: But it could GW's credit in discredited.
[SPEAKER_00]: This was a terrible rule, but it was amazing lore.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's one point.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm laughing at this.
[SPEAKER_00]: because this is one of those screw ups where they put a lot of time into writing this and there was a lot of I guarantee you pride coming out of the GW rules, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: that we wrote and we made rules for it that are dead on accurate.
[SPEAKER_00]: And everyone's going to read this and go, man, this is amazing.

[SPEAKER_00]: I get to play my unari and apparently none of them asked the question of, what would it be like to play against this?

[SPEAKER_00]: So that unit could immediately perform one of five actions.
[SPEAKER_00]: They could move to a second action, which we used to be used to be separate and still should be.

[SPEAKER_00]: They could charge them in or if they were in engagement range, they could fight.
[SPEAKER_00]: So it's easy.
[SPEAKER_00]: literally the five faces of the game they could just do with that.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is crazy because they would do it immediately.

[SPEAKER_01]: in your opponent shooting phase, all of a sudden you're shooting at them and charging them.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you could do crazy stuff because in your opponent did two different charges, they killed something and then you got to fight.
[SPEAKER_01]: And or charge the thing that it just fought.
[SPEAKER_01]: And because the rules say if you have already fought and you can't fight again, you would get charged after you killed something by something else.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you're like, so I just get to stand here and get punched.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And again, this made sense, Laura Wise, because a hundred percent of you need, whether a four ally was destroyed, nearing an hour, that an hour would absorb their energy and they wouldn't fuse them with power.
[SPEAKER_00]: There were no restrictions, as well as the game, when this would happen.
[SPEAKER_00]: So as the Brad said, a savvy player would just basically make these triangles all over the board, where everything was in seven inches of each other.
[SPEAKER_00]: And you're entirely, oh, yeah, it's also there was no restriction.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the restriction was you couldn't have a unit affected by solvers more than once.
[SPEAKER_00]: but they could solve it.
[SPEAKER_00]: But solvers would let you do something twice.
[SPEAKER_00]: So for example, I can shoot and kill something seven inches away.
[SPEAKER_00]: That thing dies.
[SPEAKER_00]: I now solvers and shoot again.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because it was a solvers and it sounds unfair.

[SPEAKER_00]: This was hands down the best army for a period of time.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so that's why I told that story.
[SPEAKER_00]: So we wasn't like this is when it translated the lore they made those powerful and army.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it was lore specifically.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not so because it's the power of elder from your old days.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're doing this.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is what, you know, if people, if you've read, if you haven't read, they all read books.

[SPEAKER_00]: They can more importantly, it would eliminate tyrannies, backgrounds.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not even a bother with Taljo care.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're just like, the thing about it though, Eldar are also fighting with training wheels on because they don't use any of their most powerful psychic weaponry because that's gone.

[SPEAKER_00]: If Flanesha's gone, they turn on and that they eliminate everything in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: What would happen with the jukari?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Fun it says for another time, but Eldar do it if there is no slenesh.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to say it now and I'll say it over and over with no slenesh.
[SPEAKER_00]: Eldar can actually fix the galaxy.

[SPEAKER_00]: So now the order of operations here is a little bit tricky.

[SPEAKER_00]: And each sword is imbued to the power of the Elder God.
[SPEAKER_00]: But there's a bit of Excalibur going on here.
[SPEAKER_00]: The power and the effect is locked to fate.
[SPEAKER_01]: So you have to be the one that is destined to wield the each way.
[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Crohn's sword is incredibly powerful.
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyone who picks one up will feel the power.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because if it's a dungeon in dragons, they have a vocal sword.
[SPEAKER_00]: But the difference is stormy.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but they're just if you are faded to it, it gives you the power of dominion over life and death.
[SPEAKER_01]: It also basically cuts the reality.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're not bad.
[SPEAKER_00]: So you have rain knew that if she could collect the five chrome swords and bring them together, she could use like the powers to combine to wake and you need.
[SPEAKER_00]: And a fully awake and you need with the chrome swords could slay the dark gods.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's also a bunch of prophecies for this also.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the properties here go already nuts.
[SPEAKER_00]: The entire most of the book is like, oh, it also here is a prophecy from before when you are reading things.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the first thing you're ready to do is allies to help her fight.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so because clicking the Crohn Swords, it's not going to be easy.
[SPEAKER_00]: And to do so, she needed a lot of allies.
[SPEAKER_00]: Luckily for your rain, two birds one stone.
[SPEAKER_00]: She could get allies and a Crohn Swords one stop.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like in a walla, we can get gasoline, iced tea, and a lovely hogey.
[SPEAKER_00]: And most not myself unconscious rolling my eyes so hard at the reference.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm now starting to paint out there.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, a lot of paint out there.

[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you have to be a thousand sons next to really saving yourself an aneurysm?

[SPEAKER_00]: So you've rain was born and raised in the BL-Tem craft world.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was there that she was pat the warrior, the seer, and actually some others.
[SPEAKER_00]: She left there to become a corsair, et cetera.
[SPEAKER_00]: So
[SPEAKER_00]: With all that, she knew she could go back to BLTN and she could speak to them because she understood them better than any other craft world.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is a craft world that is the most we've already said this.
[SPEAKER_01]: The most warlike.
[SPEAKER_01]: So rallying them to war.
[SPEAKER_01]: feels like it would be the easiest.
[SPEAKER_00]: And also she's rallying them to destroy chaos, which BL-Ten firmly believes they can do.
[SPEAKER_00]: The largest enemy Eldar had.
[SPEAKER_00]: And she also did have the this arc with her who was an all-tark of the BL-Ten.
[SPEAKER_00]: So that's going to help.
[SPEAKER_00]: What's not going to help is the giant cadre of Drew Carrey witches that she's hanging out with right now.
[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll get to that.
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll get to this arrival later.
[SPEAKER_01]: At this point in time, heard your curry forces wildly larger than anything else.
[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, yeah, she's, but we'll get to that later.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the issue, though, is the forces of chaos also realized it was a very likely spot for your brain to head to.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the forces of slenash know how dangerous you need is going to beat of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: But they could kill your brain.
[SPEAKER_00]: They could, you know, harvest her soul and end this God of death.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[SPEAKER_00]: So that being said, they knew that she would probably go to BL-TAN, but they couldn't get into BL-TAN, except they kind of could.
[SPEAKER_00]: And kind of like,
[SPEAKER_00]: The walls of Helm's deep.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a little way in if you just know how to hit it just right.
[SPEAKER_00]: Just do it all and move your references today.
[SPEAKER_00]: The slenash had, boom it back story, an entertainer called the mask.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the mask was this amazing dancer.
[SPEAKER_00]: She would dance in dance and dance and she would make slenash laugh and she would make, and there's lots of joy.
[SPEAKER_00]: However, during one of the battles within the war, Slonash got her ass handed to her.
[SPEAKER_00]: I figured which chaos got it was, and I think it was corn, but she got beat up pretty bad.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's nice with just sitting around soaking.
[SPEAKER_00]: In the mask, try to cheer up with this big elaborate dance and showing all these things.
[SPEAKER_00]: But Slonash didn't take the dance as, you know, someone that she heard her up, but it's that's thought the mask was mocking her for the way that she lost the battle and cursor and kicked her out of the work and made her spend her an attorney dancing, which is a weird phrase to read.
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's still, it's very Slonashy.
[SPEAKER_00]: It is, it's just odd.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing is with the, the mask doesn't get thrown out by herself.
[SPEAKER_01]: The mask still has a full, she's effectively, she's got a full two thousand point army.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, she's small, so it's like she's a greater demon, but I will say she, but she's small.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's not, she's not a like, you know, most greater demons are giant.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's not a, but she, that's how the power of a greater demon.
[SPEAKER_00]: So she brings along this giant cadre, and all she wants to do is get back in the good graces of slenish.
[SPEAKER_00]: What the mask learns is that there's an ancient web way gate, an elder exudite world named Ursilia.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this world with a web way gate where the other side is the BL-TEN craft world itself.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the elder aren't stupid.
[SPEAKER_00]: They'd taken no risks and they'd sealed the gate permanently.
[SPEAKER_00]: But because they're BL-TAN, they didn't destroy the gate.
[SPEAKER_00]: Whereas most of the other craft rolls were destroyed.
[SPEAKER_00]: BL-TAN, knowing that one day they will come back to ruling the galaxy, saw no need to destroy the gate.
[SPEAKER_00]: They just put words all over it and shut it down.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they did a good job.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's not something where the mass can't walk up to it and put in the code of one, two, three, four, five, you know, like on Brad's luggage.
[SPEAKER_00]: The mask knew that she had to break open the ruins in the woods.
[SPEAKER_00]: And that was a power that she did not possess, but she knew someone who did.
[SPEAKER_00]: Going back to our demon cast, we discussed the bloodthirstyes of corn.
[SPEAKER_00]: And there was a certain bloodthirsty of corn who got a little bit too whipped up in the heat of the moment and decided to
[SPEAKER_00]: hit corn, like I think he hit his toe from not listening.
[SPEAKER_01]: He actually hit his foot.
[SPEAKER_00]: He hit his foot.
[SPEAKER_00]: He hit it so hard that he actually marred the brass armor of corn to which corn turned to this brother's name Scarban and flipped him.
[SPEAKER_00]: eight days with this finger and and Scarban flew through the warp for eight straight days at such speed and velocity that it always wings burnt off and Scarbrand now notice Scarbrand the exiled once nothing more than they get back into the good graces of corn.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, Scarbran was a bloodthirsty, which they're already psyched up in rage.
[SPEAKER_01]: These events made Scarbran even more on the hand.
[SPEAKER_00]: Scarbran is, and this is a fun phrase to say, the angriest bloodthirsty in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Scarbrand, you used to have a better rule.
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to say this, Scarbrand's old rule was everybody within six inches, friend or foe.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you used to get a plus one at a time.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's when you know you're super bad that everyone else.
[SPEAKER_00]: Was it not the situation where he would also actually damage his own troops?
[SPEAKER_00]: It was, there was some of that where he would like to attack and every now and then if he didn't have, you would talk to Mad Dog Grants that thing, or if you couldn't do something, he would get injured.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, so the mask, and I like this story, approaches Scarbrand to parlay.
[SPEAKER_00]: Scarbrand responds by immediately attacking the demon of Slonesh.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, Slonesh and Corn don't exactly get away.
[SPEAKER_00]: They don't.
[SPEAKER_00]: Luckily, the mask learned the five D's of Dodgeball of Dodge, dive, dip, duck, dive.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and Dodge.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, sometimes you got to have your Irish coach tell you how to deal with that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Dodger wrench.
[SPEAKER_00]: He dodged.
[SPEAKER_00]: So after dodging all of his attacks, Scarbren, this isn't written down, gets bored and just starts walking away from the mask.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's the mask like a little sibling gets running up like, but hey, come on, hey, come on.
[SPEAKER_01]: My mind, it's the dog from the old.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like whatever.
[SPEAKER_00]: So she sits there and tells Scarbrand there and have a competition and Eldar killing competition because she claims that as a demon of slena she's better at killing Eldar than Scarbrand or any demon of corn ever could be.
[SPEAKER_01]: I love that Scarbrand does not see through this at all and goes
[SPEAKER_00]: No.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he kind of, the Scarban's kind of towards the Scarban's problem is that he's insulted that this little, because she is tiny, especially because it's, but it's such a manipulation.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're right, but the promise keeps him wildly obvious.
[SPEAKER_00]: It is, but he can't turn it down.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's been challenged by a, by another demon for a killing competition for him also for him to turn it down.
[SPEAKER_01]: I lesser God.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, he's like, he's, he's, he's by a lesser demon of a lesser god.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, has challenged him to a competition for him not to honor it would be tantamount to, to saying you're right, you are superior.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he agrees to meet her on Ursilia.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Ursilia is an exidite world of the Eldar.
[SPEAKER_00]: The exidites live in the material and living in the material and being Eldar means that they fight chaos all day every day.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are masters of fighting chaos.
[SPEAKER_00]: What they're not masters of fighting is the most powerful bloodthirsty in the entire galaxy, along with the mask.
[SPEAKER_00]: Hard to tie.
[SPEAKER_00]: Basically, if I can two entire legions of chaos at the same time, they get their asses fighting the omniscient of the other.
[SPEAKER_00]: They get, well, they don't the omniscient of the other.
[SPEAKER_00]: They get, well, they don't the omniscient of the other.
[SPEAKER_00]: They get, well, they don't the omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the other omniscient of the

[SPEAKER_00]: He just failed to succeed, which is different.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the greatest, he's a greatest far-sayer in the galaxy.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he knew that you need what occupies a soul.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he knew that soul would eventually find themselves on BL-TAN.
[SPEAKER_00]: He also knew that conflict with Slonash was going to happen.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is cool in the book, though, because they measure it as he gets
[SPEAKER_01]: physical pain.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, learning this, learning this stuff.
[SPEAKER_00]: The fact that two of his retinue, retune, whatever it is, turn into crystals, doing this meditation, that's such an intense meditation.
[SPEAKER_01]: Lash.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because the battle is so nash, he sees so many elder lives dying.
[SPEAKER_00]: It actually, it takes, it kills.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, all sex exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he dispatches the harloquins to go warn B. L. Taney, because he has to, because we said before, the harloquins can move through the webway in an instant.
[SPEAKER_00]: Eldrade learns this stuff.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's not a lot of time, so he learns this and has to dispatch.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're not timing for Eldrade to get across the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, around the same time, the demons begin their conflict with Ursilia.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Harlequins arrive on the BL-Tang craft world.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this part of the story is awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: They arrive, and there's a bunch of, there's an all-tark and dire Avengers waiting for them when they come out with swords drawn.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because they don't, BL-Tang don't fully trust the Harlequins.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I can tell them, but they want to know why are you here?
[SPEAKER_01]: The harloquins are still kind of flippin' especially for the beetle.
[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: From the perspective of the beetle, Tan.
[SPEAKER_00]: The harloquins are better than Drew Curry.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's basically how they're classified out.
[SPEAKER_00]: But what's, I love this little bit of a story and I don't want to ruin it all, but the, the, the, all-tark, the directors is not growing, but pushing hard.
[SPEAKER_00]: Why are you here?
[SPEAKER_00]: What are you doing here?
[SPEAKER_00]: And the leader of the harloquins extends his hand and opens his, his palm, and there's a stone, the palm of his hand.
[SPEAKER_00]: The All-Tark looks down at the stone, turns around, and tells all of his aspects warriors to basically gear up, we're attacking it, don't.
[SPEAKER_00]: And off to Oceilia, because he recognized that what the Harlequin was holding was a piece of the Webway gate, honors.
[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's great to be here.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so BL-TAN goes full invasion mode.
[SPEAKER_00]: And again, this book's awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm telling you guys a story right now.
[SPEAKER_00]: Go back and read it.
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll tell you the name at the end because I've already forgotten what it is, but it's written in the notes later.
[SPEAKER_00]: So if you want to look what it's written, but we're talking about.
[SPEAKER_00]: I wrote it down and I'm going to get to it later in the notes.
[SPEAKER_00]: the bill can do give out for free and a lot of them boots of my asking their incredible so the bill can arrive in the world may see it's devastated luckily thought hard to find the demons because they were using warp stones to just evisrate the exidites and there's just and also there's a scar brand like you know
[SPEAKER_00]: wound on the planet.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the BL-TAN used to try and true lightning strike method that always comes in.
[SPEAKER_00]: Coming out of the sky, the incredible speed, and just taking off the chaos forces, just slaughtering all of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: However, there is one thing in the galaxy, faster than Neldar.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's a fallen elder.
[SPEAKER_00]: The slenesh demons leap up out of nowhere, and it's actually destroying the bikes as they go to turn around.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, BL-TAN are not weak warriors.
[SPEAKER_00]: They've seen this happen basically once and go, okay, let's change tactics.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now we're going full power mode.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they just turn the land on the planet and just decide, all right, we're just going to kill them one by one and start marching through all the forces.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, these are the, I said about half of the BL-TAN got boots in my ass, taking the other ones apparently missed the sale.
[SPEAKER_01]: And those are the ones that would deflate Scarborough.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm going to defend them a little bit here.
[SPEAKER_00]: Scarborough was an unknown to the elder.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Eldar, they knew about blood thirsters and they decided we're just going to deal with Scarbrand, the way you deal with a blood thirster.
[SPEAKER_01]: True.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they also do downplay them a lot because they think that this is a lesser blood thirster because his wings are burning off and he's hanging out with Sloan Ash Demons.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's fair to be like, oh, this guy's kind of like, you know,
[SPEAKER_00]: This is definitely be team.
[SPEAKER_00]: He was not yet.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's not be team.
[SPEAKER_00]: The issue was that a lot of Scarbrand is at the same time.
[SPEAKER_00]: Scarbrand has run out of Eldar to kill and was bored.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's because he's also finished chewing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're just stopped going near him after the first.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, once he's filled our, no, I'm saying, so Scarborough has landed.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's killed all the exudites.
[SPEAKER_00]: He gets bored.
[SPEAKER_00]: So that's killing Solanesh demons.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's because
[SPEAKER_00]: He been lured over right by what's called the obsidian gate, which is what the web way is to fight there.
[SPEAKER_00]: Then while he's fighting over there, board just killing slenash demons, he hears a large commotion and looks over and sees the skies erupt and all these elder forces come down, but not at him.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're fighting about a mile away.
[SPEAKER_00]: and Scarbrand sees this at his furious and begins rushing to that battle because he doesn't want the mask getting a bunch of kills.
[SPEAKER_00]: So running that way, the mask though needs Scarbrand by the Obsidian Gate.
[SPEAKER_00]: So she jumps on some demonet chariots and chariots and rushes over to the Obsidian Gate to which all the Eldar follow this.
[SPEAKER_00]: So just we have is
[SPEAKER_00]: Poor BLTAN are coming down to kill something.
[SPEAKER_00]: The thing they're killing starts running towards another force of demons, which are also running towards them.
[SPEAKER_00]: They don't know.
[SPEAKER_00]: They have no idea what's going on, but they decide they see the mask though, and they recognize that has to die.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because that's what's going to try to open up exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: So they go after the mask.
[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, for the Eldar, Scarbrand's anger is at like an eleven.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I kind of enjoy this a lot.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's the combination of blinding hate and blood, lust, empower him to an inconceivable level, not vicinity and conceivable, but actually inconceivable.
[SPEAKER_00]: The L.D.R.
[SPEAKER_00]: have a couple of graph tanks that basically comes straight down on top of the master killer.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the funny, it's funny to hear.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm saying.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, in the beginning of I went too quickly, but then the initial wave of L.D.R.
[SPEAKER_01]: come down and then just get destroyed.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, by Scar brand.
[SPEAKER_01]: So everybody just goes through this and they go, he does it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Burn up wings.
[SPEAKER_01]: Shoot him with big tanks from the sky.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's actually quite funny.
[SPEAKER_00]: Cause Scar brand just,
[SPEAKER_00]: takes one axe in each hand and blows up two graph tanks.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so the Eldar just go, all right, we're just going to fire prism the blood therester because that seems to always work.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they take a bunch of fire prisms and fire the madam.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, that scene in Godzilla where they blast in with something and then he kind of just takes a step back and then fires nuclear fire out of his mouth at everything else.
[SPEAKER_00]: Scarborough and kind of does that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Scarborough is rage from the pain of being shot by the fire prisms causes him to I believe it's super son I didn't watch.
[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't watch it.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he does this the shockwave that comes out of him.
[SPEAKER_00]: disintegrates everything near you corn demons slenash demons Eldar everything is gone everything but the mask can scar branch should not be scar brand the excels scar branch should be scar brand the collateral damage.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that dude kills at least as many people that are fighting with him in every battle.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's ever been it scar brands amazing
[SPEAKER_00]: So Scarbrand turns and looks the mask and the mask effectively gives in the middle finger.
[SPEAKER_00]: He launches himself full blown at the mask who leaps out of the way causing Scarbrand where at full power to slam into the obsidian.
[SPEAKER_01]: hilarious, but this is so roadrunner versus Kyle completely.
[SPEAKER_00]: And just he's just like, whoops, he's banned.
[SPEAKER_00]: This now opens the gate.
[SPEAKER_00]: The gate comes online instantly when he breaks all the words at which point the mask and some of their forces that were not eliminated in the Scarborough unexplosion jump into the gate.
[SPEAKER_00]: Scarbrand immediately realizes that he was upon and decides I'm going to go pull that mask limb from limb and launch jumps himself into the obsidian gate, which is crazy.
[SPEAKER_01]: The dexling it happens is crazy because Scarbrand's so angry that his personal anger, which by the way usually means
[SPEAKER_01]: to summon corn demons and things.
[SPEAKER_01]: You have to have this crazy amount of bloodshed and rage and anger.
[SPEAKER_00]: One being.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Scarman got so angry that he did his anger tore a hole in reality and a bunch of bloodlucked letters.
[SPEAKER_00]: and other devotees of corn were drawn to it from the immatarium, launched and then followed Scarbred, also into the web way game.
[SPEAKER_00]: Watching all of this, the Elder Commander, who's entire job, by the way, was to not let this happen.
[SPEAKER_00]: Does the smart thing and goes screw this and blows the gate up?
[SPEAKER_01]: It just, it is defense.
[SPEAKER_01]: It shouldn't have, but shooting the bloodthirsty shouldn't have killed your tanks in return.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: It shouldn't have ended that way.
[SPEAKER_00]: So that this point, they destroy the game.
[SPEAKER_00]: Back on BL-Tan, the L-DAR, again, the L-DAR are very good at stuff.
[SPEAKER_00]: They were preparing.
[SPEAKER_00]: They knew that they were going to fight and send a force to defend the Obsidian Gate, but they had to be prepared in case it didn't work.
[SPEAKER_00]: So what they did was two steps.
[SPEAKER_00]: The first thing that was they sealed all the webway portals all over the craft world, except for the main one.
[SPEAKER_00]: And at the main one, which sounds like it like some foreshadowing, but to their credit, at the main one, they put one third of the entire BL-Ten Armed Forces in front of this gate.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they also made it a killing field, as they were killing elevated positions, they defences.
[SPEAKER_00]: This was the viewpoint and it comes in there.
[SPEAKER_00]: But because of the way elder communication works, they can't, they don't know what's happening down on Ursilia.
[SPEAKER_00]: So they're having to send like Ranger boats effectively in and out of the web way to look and to give a heads up to anyone coming back.
[SPEAKER_00]: So kind of doing these laps.
[SPEAKER_00]: The problem for them is the mask.
[SPEAKER_00]: The mask is very, very smart.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the mask is something kind of cool.
[SPEAKER_00]: The mask inside the web way is hides herself and sees one of these Ranger ships.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then she jumps onto the bottom of the ship and is then brought back in to the BLTAN, at which point randomly when she's far enough away from the entrance, just let's go and falls back onto the planet.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's our onto the craft world.
[SPEAKER_00]: So what she does, then, is once she's there, she uses her real powers.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so her, the mask's main power is she's like a medusa with a, but instead of a gaze, it's a dance.
[SPEAKER_00]: And anyone who looks upon her is merely overwhelmed and then she corrupt it.
[SPEAKER_00]: So what she does is as she's moving through the craft bro.
[SPEAKER_00]: She's isolating Eldar.
[SPEAKER_00]: and throwing them with her dance, then turning them into vessels with which demonets take hold and just possess them.
[SPEAKER_00]: So she's slowly building this massive force within the craft world of Eldar.
[SPEAKER_00]: So that kind of sucks.
[SPEAKER_00]: She probably would have gotten clocked doing this because you're going to do this so far.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, she's probably grabbing like, oh, the engine here.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, which is still a good fighter.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's BL Tan, but eventually the aspect of work is going to take notice.
[SPEAKER_00]: Luckily,
[SPEAKER_00]: Scarbrand, he's kind of loud.
[SPEAKER_00]: Scarbrand is not make a subtle end to entrance.
[SPEAKER_00]: Whereas the mask stuck her way into the craft world, Scarbrand came to the front door, blowing apart every worn and protection appeal that had placed there, and him and his bloodletters come flying through slaughtering hordes of aspect warriors.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, oh, that's right.
[SPEAKER_00]: The name of the book is Gathering Storm Part Two.
[SPEAKER_00]: Read this, because this next scene is awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: You, before Scar Brander, the Mask, get on to the ship.
[SPEAKER_00]: At the center of the craft world, right by the infinity circuit, is their Shard of King.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the Shard of Cain had begun shaking and ebbing with rage, which everyone knew what it meant.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the All-Tark knew what the other knew what to do.
[SPEAKER_01]: You walked over to do a ritual, baby.
[SPEAKER_01]: Time to do a ritual.
[SPEAKER_00]: Once Scar Brand arrives, the BL-Tark breaks the Shard and is overtaken by the Avatar of Cain.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this scene is cool as hell.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because Scarbrand is slaughtering aspect of hosts right on the gate, just with his, with his, his acts is just chopping things to pieces.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then here comes the avatar of King, striding through the aspect warriors right up to Scarbrand and the two of them have a monster fight.
[SPEAKER_01]: And read this because the avatar doesn't get enough credit because the avatar is made up of molten metal.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: T-one thousand liquid metal all the time and heat metal is scar brand are you know, scar brands got his access and avatars got his spears and they're just wrecking each other, but every blow that should be a mortal wound just doesn't fell them because they're both
[SPEAKER_00]: full of rage.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's a key thing with the avatar of candy.
[SPEAKER_00]: The avatar of cane is not a like, uh, uh, uh, I summon something.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is rage incarnate for the Eldar and Scarbrand is also rage incarnate.
[SPEAKER_00]: They should have been best friends.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like they should have like, you know, we just become best friends.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're, we're making bunk beds.
[SPEAKER_00]: We were, we were in for activities.
[SPEAKER_00]: these two have this epic fight and eventually the avatar just decides to outrage Scarbrand and runs him through with his spear lifting him into the air the gravity pull Scarbrand down down the shaft is he coming down on him and starts attacking away at the avatar with his with his axes
[SPEAKER_00]: The avatar just screams into his face.
[SPEAKER_00]: Scarbrand screams back and all this screaming obliterates every lesser demon anywhere nearby plus a bunch of Eldar.
[SPEAKER_00]: And in the end, all that's left is a pile of molten lava on the ground.
[SPEAKER_00]: But as we said, this was just a distraction.
[SPEAKER_00]: On the other side of the ship, the mask is hanging towards the infinity circuit.
[SPEAKER_00]: And everyone who gets in front of the mask, as we said, she instantly possesses.
[SPEAKER_00]: except one.
[SPEAKER_00]: Suddenly a larger than normal L-DAR appears in front of her with a cool spear and some pretty cool red hair.
[SPEAKER_01]: The mask is awesome right here.
[SPEAKER_00]: The mask begins to dance to control it and James Sarr has none of that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, I'm here.
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, I'm here.
[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, try to hear that, see?
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: The max, the ever-living halide out of the mask.
[SPEAKER_00]: James Zarr's Halling Banshee's then come out out of nowhere and just begin slaughtering all the demonets around her.
[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, the mask has one purpose.
[SPEAKER_00]: And she's close enough to her purpose.
[SPEAKER_00]: So she leaps.
[SPEAKER_00]: Realizing that Jan's are is going to easily kill her.
[SPEAKER_00]: She leaps into the into the face circuit and basically ends able because the demon is able to pass the room into the infinity circuit at which point a bunch of her other demon that's follow.
[SPEAKER_00]: Jan's aren't her retinue.
[SPEAKER_00]: slaughter was left the demon ads, but they can't do anything about the ones who've left it to the infinity circuit.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the problem with this is that the craft robes themselves are basically built around the infinity circuit.
[SPEAKER_00]: With the infinity circuit being now infected with chaos, so Sloan Esch is now consuming souls in there.
[SPEAKER_00]: The craft world itself begins to die.
[SPEAKER_00]: The actual structures of the craft roads are falling apart.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because we'll remember that the craft wards are made.
[SPEAKER_01]: The elves are still elves.
[SPEAKER_01]: The fantasy elves, they have made their entire, everything from the craft world is sung and do existence from the, the seers.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so if they make the rathbone and at the, at the, at the origin of the rathbone dies, everything does.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is the moment that you've rain appears in the craft world.
[SPEAKER_00]: and her sudden appearance is not met with joy.
[SPEAKER_00]: As of before, a super powerful Eldar Cyager.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Eldar consents this, just walks through a web way gate with a solitaire and a ton of Drew Carrey.
[SPEAKER_01]: And well, this is a big deal because it's understandable why they're not met with with happiness because the Drew Carrey are known
[SPEAKER_01]: for going, oh, cool.
[SPEAKER_01]: A battle's going super bad for somebody.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now I should attack the pig.
[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: They just think that the trickery show it up to go, we're going to make it even worse for you.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Luckily, it's between the solitaire.
[SPEAKER_00]: We can they don't speak, but just the fact is a solitaire.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're helps.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the vis arc, the elder give him a second.
[SPEAKER_00]: Your reign explains what's going on, and they're escorted under heavily armed guard toward the Seer Council.
[SPEAKER_00]: On this path, the Seer Council, though, the BL-Tang get a glimpse of why they should listen to your reign.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's because as they're going, a bunch of demons come out of nowhere.
[SPEAKER_00]: and attack specifically Yavraine.
[SPEAKER_00]: They all launch themselves just at her.
[SPEAKER_00]: She with a flick of her hand, by the way, destroys these things.
[SPEAKER_00]: But that's an great moment for the BL-Ten Warriors, because they see the power of Yavraine, which can be, but just can be good or bad, but more importantly, they see that she is the number one enemy of slunash, which the enemy of land.
[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: So now we're going to give her some time.
[SPEAKER_00]: So the Seer Council sits back and they have a massive debate discussing what we're going to do, how we're going to do this.
[SPEAKER_00]: And some of the Seer Council do actually remember the young girl you've ran.
[SPEAKER_00]: And there is an affection towards her.
[SPEAKER_00]: At the same time, others
[SPEAKER_00]: are a little bit less overjoyed.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's give us this presence though.
[SPEAKER_01]: This isn't like after the battle.
[SPEAKER_01]: She's telling all of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, while this is all going on.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, yes, Scarborough has gone at this point, but the craft for itself is falling apart.
[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's falling apart.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's still a shit ton of demons here.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and so what your brain does is she tells them about Gennied and her mission to bring you need to life.
[SPEAKER_00]: She tells them about the Crohn's sorts and how they're going to be used to destroy the enemies.
[SPEAKER_00]: And as she's doing this, you know, the council is asking her questions.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're debating it.
[SPEAKER_00]: The spirit seers by the way, while the fun starts, while this is happening, the spirit seers are basically running all around their room because they're not, they're right next to the eventy circuit.
[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't a diving back and forth, holding, they're basically juggling spirit stones trying to capture his magic.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's slapping the spirit stones on there.
[SPEAKER_00]: One cool story on this though, and we'll get to let it, is what happens.
[SPEAKER_00]: How James R. Red News starts helping out with this, but we'll get there in a minute.
[SPEAKER_00]: But this, this is a chaotic moment, and they're right there.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not until James R walks it back in and appears.
[SPEAKER_00]: and tells everyone, basically, listen to your brain.
[SPEAKER_01]: She does the fantasy moment of every, are you, and effectively cuts the table in half.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it just goes, enough.
[SPEAKER_00]: You have brain told everyone that BL-TAN can be saved, but only by the guy you need.
[SPEAKER_00]: And she just walks over to the being, the currently being corrupted, Raythbone circuit, and his puts her hand into it.
[SPEAKER_00]: as she goes to do this and autargue leaps up to go kill her for trying to touch this and James are just and but doesn't kill him doesn't but he knocks him off slow shows and he's like James are reaches into it and the cool thing is that it is as she does this she coalesces all the souls inside is something new like tens of thousands of souls die and are formed into a new thing
[SPEAKER_00]: an avatar, not of cane, but of yin-eed.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is the birth of the yin-karn.
[SPEAKER_00]: a couple of cool things as this happens.
[SPEAKER_00]: As this occurs, while she's doing this, it's not an instant.
[SPEAKER_00]: The circuit itself begins to basically scream and like, and begins to break apart, your brain's followers start grabbing spirit stones themselves and start slapping them all, including incubi, which is beginning climbing all over the, all over the,
[SPEAKER_00]: And if any circuit, helping the spirit seers, save as many souls as possible.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is it, this bit's important in a second.
[SPEAKER_00]: But it shows that that she's not leading a rag tag group.
[SPEAKER_00]: They all are unified under her.
[SPEAKER_00]: As the Yen Karnas born though, all the corruption, including the mask inside of it is purged.
[SPEAKER_00]: The BL-TAN are saved, they are incredibly damaged, but they are saved.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the power of the Yenari is finally on full display.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just say more than a couple BL-TAN decide to go join forces with her.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's see.
[SPEAKER_01]: What's a huge thing on this, because you see the unified forces of the first time.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is Harlequins, Eldar, Andrew Curry, fighting as one.
[SPEAKER_00]: for the first time in ever.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, technically, technically ever that's true.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're no drew part in it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: So this is the first time.
[SPEAKER_00]: Light years away, Eldrade sensed all this happening.
[SPEAKER_00]: His plan, though delayed, was coming together.
