I Think There’s a Bigfoot Out Here! - My Bigfoot Sighting Episode 132

My Bigfoot Sighting

Tonight’s guest, Joe, had his first Bigfoot sighting not long after he moved into the house where he and his wife live now. It wasn’t long before he started to have other experiences. They started paying late-night visits to their house and would make their presence known. Wanting to develop a relationship with them, Joe started putting apples, candy bars, and other things out for them too. That may or may not be the reason why he had a second sighting. That was the day he saw a big, red, one. Joe is always on the lookout for them. He looks out his windows on a regular basis, hoping to catch another glimpse of one. Joe has had three sightings on his property. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to him share the details of those experiences and more he’s had.

Hey, you there, thanks for tuning in. You're ready for another episode
of My big Foot Sighting. All right, then let's do this. Seen
a bunch of run down no horse towns where the church is the backbonels and
the bow and the fasting melodies cove in with the bomb man Rose, where
the roofs run deep beyond the nose of the busy streets, with the songs
of the south of s. Then and I hear the prompt porch picking down
home rhythm bringing out I Don't run from banjam music. Yeah. If you'd
like to be able to listen to the show without ads and have full access
to bonus content, that's an option. To find out how, please go
to my Bigfoot Sighting dot com My Bigfoot Sightings. There's something I think about
all the time because they're all around me here in the oes Arks. And
when I first moved here to this place, out in the two leaves away
from town and no close neighbors, I had those where I had rented,
using it out here to build a house site and a road coming into the
place, and I would come out in the morning and I noticed big rocks.
They'd be big enough I'd had to pick them up both hands and throw
them out to the side. They'd be in front of the doors a blade.
They even had one on the track. And this happened several times,
and it still didn't really dawn on me. But there was somebody else af
there one day that came with me and I said, did you put these
rocks here? And they said no, I didn't put them. I didn't
say anything else about it, and I kind of in the back of my
mind started putting things together a little bit. So after we find we got
moved in here, you know, out in the country, I just left
the blinds and curtains open at night. There's nobody to see in I thought.
I was sitting here one night about ten eleven o'clock watching TV at night.
My wife Lord have gone to bed, and I heard a rock hit
the back of the house on sounded like it hit the roof, but it
could have hit the wall, I don't know. And then I heard it
something sound like a house lap, and I knew then what I had.
But I got floodlights always around this house, and I turned the floodlights on
and there was a deer way down in the corner of the yard. But
I know, a deer didn't throw a rock, didn't slap the house.
So I just cut the lights out and went on shut the door and went
on about my business. And that's what got it started right there, I
guess. And I our granddaughter came up here to visitors sometime in this time
frame. This is I've been here three and a half years now, and
that was three and a half years ago. I'm trying to say. She
wanted to see one. She was all enthralled about it. And I said,
well, I don't know. I don't know if we'll sea one or
not. And I hadn't at the time yet, so I said, this
is what we'll do. I got an onion sack and I put some apples
in it, and we went down at the bottom of a little hill here,
and I backed my old truck up to a tree and stood up in
the back of it, and I had some four inch drywall screws or framing
screws, and I screwed one into the tree and hung at onion sack with
those apples in it. And she stayed for I do only three or four
or five days, and we'd go down and check it nearly every day.
And they was always there. Well, two or three days after she went
back to Texas, while I went by there one day and it was gone.
So when I come back to town, I pull up over there and
I got it, and I looked and the screw was gone too. Now,
that screw screwed in that tree pretty hard, and it took something coon
or possum didn't pull it out. But anyway, so that's kind of how
it started. And I got to put trees out for him. I'd set
apples out, and uh, peanut butter and jars. I'd leave the lid
real loose on them, and then i'd put some candy bars or some sort
snickers or something like that and put them in these onion sacks. And I
had a brushpile out here. It's the edge of the yard. I got
sticking peanut butter just up on one of those trees I'd shoved over and it
disappear. You know. I did this for quite a while. Well,
they got to work. I'd be sitting here at night. Most time my
wife had already gone to bed. I don't know, it's like they knew
or something, you know, and I'm sitting there all of a sudden they
start tapping on the house and go all the way around the house tapping on
it. And uh, one of the last times that happened. I mean,
it was railing on the house for good. And I went in thereund
why. I said, you hear that? And it had followed me on
into the bedroom, tapping on the side of the wall, and she said,
yeah, I hear it. But it quit, you know. And
long after that, I was on the old tractor out here, I bladed
my road. It was up in the end of summer, somewhere in the
fall, I guess a couple of years ago. Now oud had it.
I went out, I left my old tractor out and I come has to
get a drink water, and I jumped back on it. But when I
went back out, there's a little point that comes out on my road there,
probably one hundred hundred fifty yards from here at the living room here,
and I saw a bunch of crows fly up. I said, you know,
like something spooped them. Well, when I went by that little point,
I looked over and there one true there was a big, old black
one. He was at least seven foot maybe eight, and so black that
I couldn't even see his eyes, and I blinked and he was gone.
I mean, just that quick. I didn't get to see it very long,
just an instant, and I just went on about my business, kept
blading the road, and I looked for it, but I never did see
it. And I didn't want me to see it, and I think it
let me see it at that time. And I would headed back from town
one day and there's about a mile and a half or so down the road
from here. There's a highline crossing there that goes down the edge of the
road and then it turns to the south. And I just happened to glance
over as I come by the and I saw one standing at the edge of
the right of way in the woods. Now this one was a reddish brown.
I couldn't see it, but from around the waist down, I couldn't
see it, you know, because he was standing in the trees and it
was shady. But he had to real skinny legs and hair stuck out on
its legs about a foot long, just straight out, and I could see
his big old feet. I mean, it's kind of comical looking. But
and why I didn't turn around go back I just kept going, and I
probably wouldn't have been there time I got turned around anyway. But I came
home and told my wife about that one. And in the meantime, I'd
had some more house tappings at night. And my wife sometimes she early in
the morning, she'd go out on the back deck and sit there for daylight.
And she got to hear some al hooks over in the woods, and
she said they didn't sound exactly like an out and I said, you know
what they are, because there was one at a certain area, and then
it was another one on down the hill there, and they was hollering back
and forth. And she said, one morning, I was still asleep.
She said that they started hollering at each other and they just started coming through
the woods like that, hollering back and forth. And we've got a shed
here right behind the house, and in a carport, and she said,
they come almost up to behind the car port. And I've been telling her
she shouldn't do that. They spoke to her enough she come in the house
that time. And then I think before that, or after you heard the
tree knock down in the bottom. It was after uh, my son and
I we was out in the driveway there. One night about dark, she
was sitting on the back deck carry back porch, and men Thomas out there
walking and I didn't hear it. We had he had one of these little
portable radio and we sitting there listening to it and jacking. But she told
me later on she heard a tree knock right down here behind the house.
And after that, uh, one night about two or three in the morning.
Now you gotta understand this happened over a period of two or three years.
All of what I'm telling this didn't just happen within a few days of
one another. It's happened over a period of time. And I quit treating
them because they they g's where they were such a pest about tapping on the
wall at night. I know what they want. They want me to feed
them, you know, it's the only thing I figure out, because they've
never shown any aggression, you know, far us trying to be mean or
beating on the walls or anything like that. Just aggravating you, scaring the
heck out of you late at night. So I quit putting the treats out.
And I think that tee them off too, because somebody told me said,
once you start feeding them. You're asking for it. They get used
to it, and they expect it. You know. They don't think like
we do. I guess I don't know. Maybe they think smarter than we
do, which a lot of us that wouldn't be hard to do. But
anyway, I got up one night and we've got a master bathroom off our
bedroom, and that's two or three o'clock in the morning, and I got
up to go use the restroom and as I was coming back to the bed,
this roade it it runs right at the end of her house and you
turn right in behind her house up into the driveway and there's wood on the
other side, and it goes on back and it slopes down the little steep
into the highway down there. And then this thing cut loose. It sounded
like it almost like it had a piece of pipe or something. And I
counted it. It would hit a tree about six or seven times, and
it moved and it do it again. It was just machine gun fire rapids
how fast it was. And I've never heard anybody on any of these shows
or anything I read it they had heard one do it like that. It's
always just a knock or two. But this was you know, and did
it four or five times, like it was mad or something. You know,
it heard me flush that toilet. I guess it was outstanding out there
out on maybe just showing out, trying to scare me or something. But
anyway, they migrate out of here in the late fall, and then they
usually come back. Oh I think this year is in March. They started
coming back because one of them tapped on the kitchen window here one night,
real late at night, like they normally do. This one here it sounded
like he was tapping with his claw and that was unnerving. This is a
real slow tap tap tapping, and you know, you can get up the
run, turn lights on, but they hear time you get there, they're
gone, so I don't even waste my time. But after that we didn't
really have any more currences for a good while. That was probably on up
in the fall. And then last year I think I had one, maybe
two occurrences of them tapping on the house. And then like I said,
this year, that one tapping on the kitchen windows. This was back at
the end of the winter first or spring, just saying hello, letting us
know that they were act but right behind my recliner here and living room.
I got a front door that goes out and there. It's got a little
wooden porch on it. Now this has happened three times. I'll be sitting
here and I hear that porch pop. And we've got this bebbl glass door
in the front of the house. And you can't really see for it,
but you can if you get up close enough, you can speak in.
And I know that's what's that thing doing. It was leaning on that porch
trying to peek in that window on the front door, and it made that
porch pop. I've heard it three times, and I've got up a couple
of times, flipped the lights on try to see it, and it's gone,
you know. But one time, when it was tapping on the house,
I got up and turned the floodlights on in the front and the boy
it stopped immediately. I ain't much to be caught him by surprise, because
that ended it to the next year. Best I remember. I'm kind of
agy, so I can't remember specific times in days like I used to could.
But about two weeks ago it was a day like today. It was
kind of overcast and been raining, cloudy and we'd have woods that come.
They did come right up pretty close to the house. We got another dose
rut here and cleared them out, push the woods back away from around the
house. It's for that reason. But I was standing at the kitchen oneow
getting a drink of water. Something I was looking at. I'm always looking
out trying to see one. You know, there's you something with me on
them. I know they're here, so I'm trying to see them. And
I saw what looked like one standing out there behind a tree out of kitchen
window here in the back, and so I told my wife, I said,
I think there's a big put out here. They don't even see her.
She didn't even get up. But I keep a pair of binoculars over
here on one of my little tables in the living rooms. I got my
binoculars and I got him steady enough I could see pretty good through them.
And just as I got focused real good, it moved and it went from
one tree to the other, which probably weren't I don't know. I'm looking
here now, probably ten or fifteen foot a party that much. If it
had to moved, I probably would have never seen it, you know.
I just said, well, it's just the shadows. But when it moved,
and it was a juvenile it was about five foot tall, looked like.
And it was comical because it stood there. There was a sapling right
there beside that tree, and it reached out and it grabbed that sapling,
I guess, to brace itself, and they thought it would hid, you
know, and it would peak around that tree, holding on that sapling.
When he did, his backside would show on the other side of the tree.
And they stood there playing pickaboo with me for a good little bit and
finally I looked off and it was gone. You know. That's the way
they do, and at least my experiences with them, and that's probably where
I'm standing. It's a good hundred yards from on up to the edge of
the woods from where I am, so I could see it pretty good.
But it was just it was a blur. It just happened so quick,
and those things are so fast where they move. And that is about the
last encounter I've had with them, which was a couple of weeks ago,
and that's this year. Other than the porch popping and the one tapping on
the kitchen window, that's been my experiences this year, but I could say
I found tracks in my driveway. I believe it was year before last month.
This happened before I ever started seeing them in my car port. I've
got white rock, you know, in my driveway and my road, and
it's been raining, and I found a track, just one track under my
harport, but it looked like about a size nine barefoot and a human,
you know. And then another time I was out watering some of my trees.
I was looking and I found two tracks. They were almost side by
side, and these things were huge. I went got but they were too
vague to take a picture of, and I didn't think of getting one of
that juvenile I said, okay's one, and nobody believed me. They say,
oh, that's just a kid's footprint. But anyway, these were they
were real vague because that ground hard is solid rock here on this little mountain,
and plus you know, coating and white rock on top of that.
But you could vaguely see the outline of two footprints and the big toes these
things were. They were real long. I bet you at least two inches
long, maybe more, and great beer around and then the foot was I
measured it. It was I best I remember it was eighteen inches by eight
and went from there because you couldn't see footprints after that. But and since
then, I've looked tried to find some more tracks, but I haven't seen
any. I quit putting out treats and stuff for him, so they've kind
of backed off from around here. What there was. I feel like if
I had kept feeding them, I might have had more of a relationship with
him. After I got to doing this and I started having these experiences,
I didn't think it was quite as fun as I thought it would be.
It's kind of spooky. And then I got to reading some things about him,
and I'm elderly, I'm almost sevveed in my wife, and I didn't
know, you know what they allowed to try to pull around here. I'll
run up here and grab one of us or something. It's not that I'm
afraid of that, but I just decided to be a little more cautious about
it and stop being soviting about bringing them in. And I talked to this
girl out in Oregon. She's got a website and she's seen them do out
there. They're huge out there. But she told me, she said,
I don't know if it's such a good idea to call them in that close
up to your house. She said, you want to do something, go,
I'll find you a spot somewhere away from the house, like where I
first put my apples down there and put a little set of time hanging off
a tree limb or something, and just feed them there that that same spot
every time. And they know of gowhere. But I haven't even done that.
I've left them alone. I don't know later on, maybe I might
or what. But that's about all I've got on it. That's that's been
my experiences up here. Other than when I was a kid in high school.
I didn't realize it. I knew something was weird, but cause I
got up here and started having these encounters, then I realized what it was
that happened to me. Dinner in Texas, where I'm originally from, and
I had a little girlfriend and we were parking on this little hill out alongside
the interstate and it was the way late at night and dark, and I
had a sixty six in paddle and the back of that car went down and
stayed down. I mean, you know, you somebody standing up on the
back bumper, all right, Yeah, but it's gonna just kind of move
a little bit. This thing went down and stayed down for a few seconds,
you know. Somebody was like somebody was holding it down like a fool.
I got up and got out, but I didn't see anything, and
it scared the heck out of me. We got out there and I told
my friends about it, because it was a pretty popular spot, and I
said, I don't I don't know what that was up there, but it's
hill before the Interstate was there. It was all wilderness back and there still
is from what a coal mine got it, but it's it's still wilderingness and
there it's a kickbottom down the hill from it. I feared this thing that
was probably living back in the wilderness, sir. I mean it went for
miles back then without anything, big old huge ranches for thousands of acres,
and so it had game and water and I don't know. And i'd just
been up there or had seen cars parking up there and was curious. I
don't know. But after I got up here and got this started happening to
me. Back then, nobody you never heard that turned Big Food or sash
Quay. Nobody knew what it were. Really. I guess there were some
people that did, but nobody talked about it, and I never didn't know
anything about one. I never really even knew anything about Hi until the fout
Monster movie came out back in the seventies, and they're supposed to have been
a true story, and I guess it is. But it's not too long
for moving up here. Why. I had a friend of mine tell me
he was over the river bottom there where I'm from and on the deer stand
and he said, one come by and slept him on the foot and just
kept going. I don't know if it's over or not, but he wasn't
laughing about it when he told me. And I know the guy and he's
pretty serious, so you know, I had him on my mind. I
didn't really believe one way or another. I thought anything is possible. I'll
try to be open minded about things that I don't understand. And so when
I got up here in these occurrences started happening, I thought, well,
okay, you know, and they're all in these woods. You ain't going
to backside this place. And look you see thirty miles nothing but wilderness and
all the where around us, you know, valleys and mountains, so you
know it's it's idea from spot for him. I've got brainfeed bond on his
place. And there's a crow fly probably not two or three miles from a
lake over here. And you know there's game everywhere, dear. I seen
two barriers on this place. You know they've got something to eat and water
to drink. But I guess they migrate somewhere elf for the winter and where
they've got some shelter. But that's about all I've got. Yeah, y'all
believe me or not, but that's that's the take on it. I know
what I've seen, it heard. So thank you all for listening to this
old Southern boy. Well that's it for tonight show. If you've had a
big Foot sighting and would like to be a guest, please go to my
Bigfoot Sighting dot com and let us know. Thanks for listening. Have a
