That's on YouTube dot com slash at Late Round FF. So, without further ado, here's this week's episode. 00:00:36 Speaker 2: What's up everybody? Welcome to the show. JJ, how are you good? 00:00:42 Speaker 1: You know, faced Jamar Chase in a couple of leagues That wasn't fun, But from an analysis standpoint, I feel good about last night's game. Had you know, Rogers, Flacco, and Noah Fant on the Sleeper Show, so I was glad to see all three of them come through. 00:00:54 Speaker 2: Yeah. I also saw that you had like anytime touchdown with Noah fans. 00:01:01 Speaker 1: Yeah, I had a plus four to twenty five fan anytime touchdown last night, which was pretty sweet to hit. 00:01:08 Speaker 2: I mean, the move was to just put all the tight ends on there. 00:01:13 Speaker 3: Apparently we should have known with Arthur Smith. By the way. 00:01:18 Speaker 1: By the way, shout out Michael Florio of NFL Network who went on TV and one of his bold takes was that all three Steelers tight ends we're gonna score a touchdown in that game, which I think he then looked up and it's only happened one other time in like NFL history, and he called it like he like the the odds of that happening are like astronomically small. So I gotta give him props. Great dude too, so I gotta, you know, give my friend some love. 00:01:47 Speaker 2: All right, we have some bold predictions ourselves to talk abouts later. We're gonna get more into this Thursday night football game. We do want to say, this is interactive show, so listen, get in here, give us your takes, give us your comments, let us know your thoughts. You can use that QR code and lower right corner get their Week seven deposit bonus offer there and JJ, are you ready to start this week because we have plenty to talk about, and for some people it's like do or die week. 00:02:50 Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, let's do it. 00:02:52 Speaker 2: In fact, I'm already like, there's already something I need to put on the news list, so I'll do that after we get to today's fantasy news. Okay, we're gonna start with the unk ball, but I've I forgot to put the Rashie Rice stuff on here, so that's a big yeah, of course, big miss. Uh so we are not cooked with rice, So let's start. Let's talk about the unk ball though. Last night, Thursday night football game, tons of points. I mean, what were your thoughts in general? 00:03:29 Speaker 1: Yeah too, yeah, yeah, I mean fan end quotes. It's not really the same as it used to be. My reaction to this game is to chill a little bit, like this is my I've come to the realization that my reaction to any big, like monster insane outing by a player or an offense or anything like my my reaction is generally like frustration, because I wish that, you know, people wouldn't get so extreme with their takes after something like that happens. But I also recognize that's the fun of this and that's what you know, people enjoy just going to the extreme and saying I mean, in my mentions right now, you guys, I have people saying that Joe Flacco is better than Joe Burrow, like legitimately, in my mentions right now. 00:04:13 Speaker 2: Is Jan Burrow a system quarterback? 00:04:15 Speaker 3: Right right? 00:04:17 Speaker 1: So I want to just like talk about a few things because I think that last night was really interesting and there's a lot of data that sort of backs up why I think it's so interesting. First off, if you guys remember a couple of weeks ago, I called Jamar Chase a cell that was with Jake Browning, and then I talked to the mail bag last week saying that I was probably still below consensus because consensus had him as a top eight overall player, and I went back and looked, I think I had him at like twelfth overall, so I was technically lower than consensus. 00:04:44 Speaker 3: That was the wrong take. 00:04:45 Speaker 1: He should be in that he should have been in the top eight based on what we saw last night. With that being said, I don't think that Jamar Chase is you know, I talked to people on Discord about this today. I don't think that he's like in the Pukinakua level right now, assuming that Kua is healthy. Obviously he's not playing this weekend, but if you were to trade straight up one for the other, that would happen after this week anyways, then Nikua has the bye, and then you know, I would I would rather have Puka over Jamar Chase rest of season. I think I'd rather have Jackson Smith and Jigba over Jamar Chase rest of season, but probably in the same tier. And then maybe you could throw like an amen ra after that or like close to that whatever, so that it was a really really good outing for Jamar Chase and his rest of season outlook. And I also when I do rest of season stuff, like the market sentiment matters too, because you want good value for that player, right The thing that I'll say though, is that, like, I don't think that this is a situation where we can just automatically say, like Joe Burrow or Joe Flacco's better than Joe Burrow for Jamar Chase and all this kind of stuff. Jamar Chase had a fifty one percent target chair last night, which is just not sustainable whatsoever. And last night's game, it reminds me a little bit of what we saw Thursday Night the last two weeks where San Francisco plays the Rams and the Rams defense plays absolutely atrocious against the forty nine ers. Last week the Eagles, you know, they were down Jalen Carter, but they played horrifically against the Giants. And then the Steelers they're not adjusting at all to what they're doing with Jamar Chase. I mean, the defensive performance was a joke by Pittsburgh last night. 00:06:19 Speaker 3: And then you know, you look at the. 00:06:20 Speaker 1: History of like Mike Tomlin on the road on Thursday night has only won two games. He's like two and eight or two and ten, one of the two, Like, there's a lot going on, like from that perspective, and I also like the way that I approached the game is that in singular games like stuff happens. I talked about this with Michael Pennix after he had that crazy, awful game against Carolina and everyone's just like, you know, oh, Michael Pennix is terrible, Like we don't want anything to do with Drake London. 00:06:44 Speaker 3: But in those instances, there are by. 00:06:46 Speaker 1: Moments in fantasy football, because the general idea and feeling about these players is so so negative. 00:06:52 Speaker 3: It's so so extreme that we can use that to our advantage. 00:06:55 Speaker 1: And that's what we did with with Drake London, and that's what we've done with that Falcons passing attack. Obviously, you know that that helped because Drake London dominated last week. 00:07:04 Speaker 3: So if you look at the. 00:07:05 Speaker 1: Numbers, though, that's like the negative side, if you will, with like the Cincinnati offense, is that, like, I don't think we should expect what we saw on Thursday night every single week, and I think most rational people would agree with them. I think that that where like there's some intrigue. Is what I did talk about on the mail bag last week is I think that we're seeing like a ninetieth ninetieth, ninety fifth percentile outcome kind of start to hit and come together for Flacco in this offense if this were to maintain. Because the big thing for me is that you can look at the numbers all day long. And I joked about that EPA per dropback thing with Jake Browning versus Joe Flacco whenever they traded for Flacco. You can look at these numbers all day long, and you know it'll say, Joe Flacco did this in this environment. Jake Browning did this in this environment. Clearly Cincinnati is a different environment than Cleveland because they have better pass catchers. So like EPA is not going to capture all that stuff. 00:07:53 Speaker 3: The thing that is being. 00:07:55 Speaker 1: Captured though, is like how Joe Flacco performs in a clean pocket and how he performs, you know, under. 00:08:00 Speaker 3: Pressure, and he hasn't been that great under pressure. 00:08:02 Speaker 1: The thing is, though, and this is what I was talking about in the Mailbag episode, just to bring that up for the third time, is that Flacco to me versus a Jake Browning, the main difference is that he can be just a deliverer of the football uh and do things at the line of scrimmage that Jake Browning wouldn't be able to do. 00:08:21 Speaker 3: And so I don't think Flacco like like. I think he played. 00:08:24 Speaker 1: Well like I just I think it's it's premature to say that he's just as good as Joe Burrow in this offense or he's just you know. In the end, what happened last night is that Flaco did a brilliant job of getting the ball out quick. His time to throw was two point four to four seconds, which was the lowest of any game of his season, and that allowed the Steelers defensive line to not generate any pressure. The Steelers generated a pressure on twenty four point five percent of Joe Flacco's dropbacks, which was the lowest of Flacco's season, the lowest pressure rate that he saw, and it was the lowest pressure rate that Pittsburgh generated. So there's this thing where, like, if the Bengals continue to just run this offense where they're just throwing these really quick outs to Jamar Chase and they're just getting a lot of yards after the catch, that like they should be doing that because the offensive line is a problem. But I do still fear that, like defenses are going to be able to recognize what's going on and adjust better than how. 00:09:19 Speaker 3: The Steelers adjusted. 00:09:20 Speaker 1: So my overall stance here is there's gonna be some regression here, just naturally. Jamar Chase is not going to maintain a fifty one percent target share. You know, Joe Flacco is probably not gonna be this good. The nice part is, though I talked about this on the fifteen Transaction Show, with Joe Flacco being an ad, his rest of season schedule is pretty good. Like, I think Flacco can be a good like streaming type that we're playing in good matchups. But then also you know, if you're just hurting a quarterback, you can you can use them because the weapons are there. 00:09:49 Speaker 3: So that's my general thoughts. 00:09:50 Speaker 1: It was gonna see Chase Brown get a little like I thought Chase Brown like looked good, not just heat, but he. 00:09:55 Speaker 2: Did except for that drop pass. 00:09:57 Speaker 3: But the drop pass changed everything for him. 00:10:00 Speaker 1: It was like it was like after that drop pass, he realized what he needed to do and he he was bouncing off tackles. I mean he had he played. Yeah, he had the best game of his season. And I think that when you have an honest passing attack like they had again, they're not gonna be able to just run that same exact offense. Jamar Chase is not gonna see twenty three targets more than likely again in a game, maybe even in his career, right. But when you are, when you were able to to threaten the defense through the air like that and they they actually have to care and worry about t Higgins and Jamar Chase, it's going to open up more running lanes like this is what a few weeks ago, and I'm just kind of waiting and you know, not saying too much about Chase Brown because I was really worried that like it was going to really go south. I don't think it's going to really really go south. I still think he's just like an RB two type, maybe even lower end. But like I had mentioned on the show, how like their offensive line was playing so bad in terms of rushing yards you know, or his yard after contact per attempt. They weren't getting any push at all. And so Kitchen just left me for the record, they were't getting any push at all, and so like my my my thought process, and Jacob Gibbs has had a tweet about this, like it was historically bad, how bad the offensive line was playing. It was almost impossible for the play as poorly as they were playing. And I think, you know, I don't think Chase Brown is like an elite talent, but I think he has enough burst and ability to like, like, I think he would have been probably a fine like player if Joe Burrow wouldn't have gotten hurt. 00:11:32 Speaker 2: And then if he riding seems like kind of like a Zach Moss like flying the ointment, uh sort, but we see, but we still see. 00:11:41 Speaker 1: We still see Chase Brown like Chase Brown was still seeing inside the five snaps. Uh, and like Chase, like samaj p ren is playing the old samaj p RN role, which is a third down, long down and distance type role, two minute role, and that sucks for Chase Brown's upside. 00:11:56 Speaker 3: For sure. We would want those like cheap points here and there for sure. 00:11:59 Speaker 1: But I do think that Brown saved, Like I think last night, you should feel better about him being able to like be a guy that you throw in your lineup as like an RB two. 00:12:08 Speaker 3: You know that you're not completely toast with Chase Brown anymore. 00:12:12 Speaker 2: Yeah, did you listen? You probably your East coastats. You probably went to bed after the game. But we had the Flacco run option. He talked about it. Yeah, I don't know if you saw this, but like that wasn't the plan, he said. It was like it was too quick and just like screw it. So like he hadn't done that since like his second yeah, his second season ever. 00:12:36 Speaker 1: I gotta say, man, last night, you know I've been someone who's again I try to stay pretty levelheaded with my football analysis in the way that I just view the game because I think it's just more fun whenever you can just kind of like look at it more objectively, and I try to do that. And I've had people and friends from Pittsburgh because I grew up there, you know, every year for the last decade, just be like fire Tomlin, Fire Tomlin, Fire Tomlin. 00:13:00 Speaker 3: Last night was one of. 00:13:00 Speaker 1: The most pathetic performances of Mike Tomlin's career, Like legitimately, and I'm I am this is the first time that I've actually felt that there's substance to that, even though he'd get a job right away, Like I genuinely think that he's stuck in like two thousand, Like he came out of halftime. 00:13:16 Speaker 2: It's like Jeff Fisher vibes kind of Yeah. 00:13:18 Speaker 1: He came out of halftime and there was an interview with him where they said, what do you need to do? 00:13:22 Speaker 3: He said, limit turnovers and stop the run. 00:13:25 Speaker 1: You're facing Jamar Chase and t Higgins and Jamar Chase has like fourteen targets in the first half or something, and you're saying that what you have to do to come back in this game is stop the run. 00:13:36 Speaker 3: Are you insane? 00:13:38 Speaker 1: Like one of the worst answers slash game plans I've ever heard in my life. The Steelers defensive line played like trash. The Steelers secondary played like trash. There was no adjusting. I mean, it was a quintessential Mike Toman does this at least once every year. Last year was at Cleveland game against Jamis and it's it's it's just it's just tiring. You know, they finally an offense. It's actually moving the ball decently well. And yeah, and the defense, the defense is just pathetic. And it's it's been pathetic all year. 00:14:08 Speaker 3: You know. 00:14:08 Speaker 1: I mentioned on the On the Sleeper Show with Flacco that there they've been a top five team for quarterbacks by justin points allowed. 00:14:13 Speaker 3: You saw why. 00:14:14 Speaker 1: I mean that the defense is horrendous and it's it's the most expensive defense in the league too. I mean, it's just a really really bad situation right now. 00:14:22 Speaker 2: Seeing you tweet through things, it just it kind of gives me joy because, like, I know that you are a fantasy analyst, but I also know you're a Steelers fan. Yeah, and so when you're like, uh, maybe give Jamar Chase uh or Jyllan Ramsey some help, like when he's trying to cover me Chase. 00:14:40 Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, look, I'm not My Steeler fandom is I want them to win, but I don't care that much if they lose. And maybe that makes me a bandwagon fan, but I put I I did a lot throughout my life to you know, go through that. 00:14:53 Speaker 2: I think that's just healthy teams. That's healthy. 00:14:55 Speaker 3: Yeah. I genuinely don't care that they if they win or lose, whatever. 00:15:00 Speaker 1: But I do want to see like rational good football, right and if I'm going to root for a team, that would be my team. But I just want to see like good game plans, Like what are you doing? It's just it's it's it's it's the definition of insanity. Also, Jalen Warren shout out Jalen Warren. The dude's a monster. 00:15:17 Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what Tony said. 00:15:18 Speaker 3: I tell RB one every week that we get on the. 00:15:23 Speaker 1: On the Q and a for for Patreon with our with with the patrons. I feel like every week I just I say the same thing where I say Jalen Warren every week when I go back and watch games, he is the best Pittsburgh Steelers weapon period. Like every week he is the best player on the field. And I think we saw that last night. 00:15:40 Speaker 2: The last thing I'll say just about Flacco, uh kind of what you're talking about, the the EPA and the comparison to Cleveland. He was just glowing after the game, talking about how special that Jamar Chase and uh and Tie Higgins were, like, talking about them just plucking balls out of the airs like I threw I through a couple of passes and usually, like I expect my receivers to catch it kind of with their body and they're just plucking out there with their hands. 00:16:06 Speaker 3: That happens. That's what happens when you play Jerry Judy, you know. 00:16:08 Speaker 2: Right, I know, but he That's what I'm saying is that I do think he has a lot of confidence in his guys, which is good for your It's. 00:16:17 Speaker 3: Good for fantasy I would say, I mean death. 00:16:18 Speaker 1: My overall take is that things are better for Cincinnati than I expected. And I saw the positive outcome, but I still think that this is even higher than what I generally, you. 00:16:28 Speaker 3: Know, thought going into the Flacco trade. 00:16:31 Speaker 2: All right, let's get to some news ahead of this week. Rashie Rice saving some cook teams. So if you somehow did not know that Rashie Rice is coming back this week and he's on your team, get him in the starting lineup. 00:16:44 Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, I mean here's my thing. 00:16:47 Speaker 1: I I'm just putting yes, sir as my reaction to Rashi Rice coming back. So he I've seen some takes of like, you know, people were being too optimistic about uh, you know, Rashi Rice coming back and being a top six, top ten option and fantasy guys, the wide receiver. I said this on the mailbag. The wide receiver position is just rough right now. So I think if you've got Rashi Rice, you're throwing them in your lineup. This this offense is cooking. It's a good matchup. I do have an interesting bold prediction though for later in the show that may or may not have to do with this offense. So I'll leave it at that. Put Rashi Rice in your lineup. It should be a good time. 00:17:22 Speaker 2: Okay, uh Nikua Matata it means some worries he's gonna be out this week. 00:17:28 Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm still expecting the Rams offense to move the ball relatively well. Uh you know, Jacksonville has been opportunistic. They turn the ball over, but that stops a drive. It doesn't necessarily like stop the you know, from a play to play standpoint, that's like a high variance defense, they're not that great. Again in the quarterback they're below average and pressure rate. You know, DeVante Adams is still obviously a stud and so I think this could be a really big Devanta Adams game because we know that Matthew staff Effort is no stranger to locking in on one dude and just giving him a crazy target share. 00:18:04 Speaker 3: So I love Devonte Adams this week. 00:18:06 Speaker 1: I still lean to too out well over Jordan Weddington as that other wide out, just because I think there's more explosive play potential, but it's not really by much. I think it's more like back to back from like a rankings perspective, But yeah. 00:18:18 Speaker 3: That's how I'm generally viewing this. 00:18:20 Speaker 1: I think Stafford could be a streamer, but it's a London game and things are always weird when it's like a Thursday night game or a London game or something like that. 00:18:28 Speaker 2: Laying in egg Buka, we had a little bit of hope today when they said that Eggbuka was working on the sidelines, but it looks like he is going to be out Monday's game and then again on next week as well potentially. But I guess it is a good thing that is at least like active in practice right now. 00:18:49 Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think you know, they haven't put him on ir which is good obviously. I think that we all kind of figured that he would be back after the bye, So it's a two week thing for for fantasy purposes because he would be out that third week anyway. It's always, you know, if you want to look at this optimistically and positively, it's always nice when a stud like this gets hurt when the bye week is happening, you know, so that they have that extra week. So I'm expecting him back week ten. I think Bucky Irving comes back week ten. And then once that happens, you know, it's a let's just hope that you can you can coast and get at least a w in between, because I have a ton of the mecha bucas you guys know. I'm hoping Sterling Shepherd has a decent game. I think that the other pass catchers there this week are actually pretty intriguing because it's a great matchup against Detroit, you know, in that environment, and so I think Sterling Shepherd would still be my guy over like a test Johnson, but even tests in a deeper, deeper format I mean I'm starting him in the King's Classic League this week, So yeah, I think it's a it. 00:19:49 Speaker 2: Could be worse, it could be worse, Okay, George Kittle fully plans to return. So the title is Kittle preps for Tighten Week because tightan Week is next week. 00:19:58 Speaker 1: It's week eight has been tight Ends have been good this year, man, I mean they really have. 00:20:04 Speaker 2: Yeah, and except for one, except for one. 00:20:07 Speaker 1: That had quite a bit of draft capital, mister, I mean you got you know, I mean obviously Kittle was was hurt too. 00:20:13 Speaker 3: Yeah, but yeah, tight end. 00:20:15 Speaker 1: I'm I'm feeling good about the tight end dead zone notion, right because a lot of those guys haven't really been stepping up and doing that. 00:20:22 Speaker 2: Well. 00:20:23 Speaker 1: Laporte has been okay, but you know, Kelsey and Andrews and stuff, it's like they've been I mean, Kelsey's been fine, but I think people are probably not loving what he's been doing. But regardless, yeah, I mean Kittle this week, to me, you start him. There's twenty five percent plus target share potential. I think the one thing that is just harder is is Mac Jones is likely to play it sounds like, and so if that's the case, different tendencies. You know, we don't know exactly what that looks like, whereas we have a bigger sample size with brock Perty. But yeah, Kittle's arguably the best tight end in football. I mean, like efficiency and just what he brings to the table. So I'm you gotta start Kittle if. 00:21:03 Speaker 3: You have them. 00:21:04 Speaker 2: Yeah. His tongue is dead now, yes, yeah. 00:21:07 Speaker 3: Tung Just I don't think that you can you can touch Yeah, all. 00:21:12 Speaker 2: Right, if you could give a few reactions to be helpful and uh, why you're asking? And I got to talk and I know, I know, but generally you type as you're telling us what you're typing, and like what that what's what that is? Okay? I I was like workshopping this. I thought this, this is not a I this is just me. Jerry had a healthy lamb. That was me. That was good. 00:21:39 Speaker 3: That was good. 00:21:40 Speaker 2: That was me. That's all the credit. 00:21:44 Speaker 1: Here's my My reaction to this is to buy George Pickens. And I say that because I think that there's a sentiment out there that this is I mean, obviously it's gonna hurt Pickens, you know, in fantasy, like he's gonna be as good of a fantasy asset. But this team has a very narrow target try, which is why it's so awesome because the offense itself and I'm actually gonna get to this in a second in today's data as a little teaser, but the offense itself is playing so well and can move the ball so well. And then on top of that, this isn't like an offense that is fine and mediocre with a concentrated target tree. 00:22:19 Speaker 3: It's an offense that literally just throws the ball to three guys. 00:22:22 Speaker 2: You know. 00:22:22 Speaker 1: It's Jake Ferguson, George Pickens, and Ceedee Lamb, and of course there's other players, but like those players are going to just see massive work every single week. And so there's still the contingent upside that we just saw with Lamb going down where George Pickens was a clear wide receiver one in fantasy. So I think he like, if you can buy him low, I think it's a reasonable thing to do for me. Ceedee Lamb is is now back in that like I mean, I think he's in the Jamar Chase Tier two, Like he's just there, right, They're all He's clustered in there with like the JSN types and stuff. He's back to being a top five wide receiver. I'm starting him this week. I'm not thinking twice. 00:23:00 Speaker 2: Commander Burke's say it with me. Now we've got Traylon Burke signed to the Commander's practice squad. With that, is he gonna save the team because you got scary Terry's gonna be out this week. And then also Debo saying he's gonna like look together. He didn't sound like that confident. I was fully expecting him to play, but today. 00:23:22 Speaker 3: He's been He's not. He hasn't practiced in like three weeks. 00:23:25 Speaker 2: Yeah, so I'm. 00:23:28 Speaker 3: I'm still assuming he's going. 00:23:30 Speaker 1: Like he didn't practice last week either, even on Friday, Like Friday is always the day that we care about, and like even on Friday he wasn't. 00:23:36 Speaker 3: Or Saturday, I think Saturday last week because they were they were playing on Monday night. 00:23:41 Speaker 1: But I'm still expecting Deebo to go. Maybe he doesn't. If he doesn't, it's anyone's guess. 00:23:48 Speaker 3: It really is anyone's guess. Is because they they not only will split. 00:23:53 Speaker 1: You know, route shares up, but obviously then there's a split target share. And sometimes it's Luke McCaffrey something like last week was Chris the week before, whenever I trusted Chris Moore as a sleeper, it wasn't Chris Moore. 00:24:04 Speaker 3: It's a crap shoot. 00:24:05 Speaker 1: So I don't have like a favorite from a secondary option in Washington. The only dude, and I'll talk about him in a second, the only dude that I really would probably be starting off Debo's out is zach Ertz. 00:24:16 Speaker 3: Like confidently starting would be zach Ertz. 00:24:19 Speaker 2: Okay, Jets man, they're down bad you. Someone on Twitter talked about Garrett. I forget what the reference was, but you were like, who knew that? Like when Garrett Wilson. Maybe it was a Breeze Hall reference, but like when Garrett Wilson's not involved in the offense, just the whole offense is just bad. 00:24:40 Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, look at look at the weapons, right, I'll just say that in my reaction, look at the weapons there. Guys, Like, I'm not a Justin Field's apologist by any means I draft him in fantasy football, because when I draft him in fantasy football, he generally scores fantasy points when he started. Since his rookie year, he's averaging like twenty fantasy points per game, So I'm gonna like tout that because he has the cheat code with his rushing. 00:25:02 Speaker 3: When he starts, he's generally okay. 00:25:05 Speaker 1: I do think though, that you have to at least hesitate a little bit this week when they don't. I mean, Josh Reynolds is his wide receiver one and he wasn't. 00:25:12 Speaker 3: Even practicing earlier this week. 00:25:14 Speaker 1: You know, Mason Taylor is probably the guy who projects to see the most volume in this offense through the air. We're talking about a rookie tight end who is good, but I don't think he was an elite prospect. They're probably gonna run a lot of work through their running backs and through Breisee Hall, and then you got to hope for some some rushing stuff. But you know, Andrew Erickson talked about this on Late Round Perspectives this week that dropped like an hour ago, and Ericson talked about how the Panthers rush defense has been surprisingly good this year, and so there's that that we have to worry about. 00:25:47 Speaker 3: So Justin Fields has sort of slowly gone down my rankings list this week. 00:25:51 Speaker 1: I'm not super super high on him because it's just it's just tough, Like could he come through with like a twenty three point performance because he does a lot on the ground. 00:25:58 Speaker 3: Of course, of course, there's just a lot of volatility to this play, like more than usual with Justin Fields. 00:26:05 Speaker 2: Okay, uh today we are waiting to see about Jakobe Meyer's status. So the title is is Myers hurt? Hurt? 00:26:14 Speaker 3: Yeah? 00:26:15 Speaker 2: Just like one analyst family famously said on the show that you know, Brian Robinson wasn't shot shot. 00:26:22 Speaker 3: That's right, that's right. I think it was you who said that, right. 00:26:25 Speaker 2: Yeah, probably I'll take the bullet for that. Uh. So you think you think Myers is hurt hurt? Or do you think that he may have unfollowed the Raiders followed the Patriots account with all these trade rumors going on. 00:26:39 Speaker 1: I think that there's there's Look, I don't want to say that a player is not hurt if they're hurt, but of course, you know, we think about what if this is just. 00:26:50 Speaker 3: Simply the the trade stuff. 00:26:53 Speaker 1: And I think that we saw Jack Besh get some more work last week. He had an eighty percent routchair got a lot of Cardio didn't get a single target in that game. 00:27:04 Speaker 3: But with Jack Besh getting. 00:27:05 Speaker 1: More work, you know, the Raiders are pathetic offensively. Jacobe Meyers is a good player. I tweeted about this earlier this week. But people seem to think that Myers is just a slot guy when the last two years prior to this year, this year he's playing more in the slot, but the prior to seasons he was like sub thirty five percent slot rate, like it, and that to be fair, when we say like slot not slot, a lot of guys will play some in the slot, Like even perimeter players will play like twenty percent of their snaps and run twenty percent of. 00:27:37 Speaker 3: Their routes out of the slot. 00:27:39 Speaker 1: It's that when you get over that like fifty percent mark, that means that they're generally running out of the slot and eleven personnel pretty frequently. And so and then you get like the Josh Downs Jayden Reid types where they're over the seventy percent mark because they're only out there in eleven personnel and when they're out there, they're in the slot. Right, That's what Wandall Robinson used to be like until now he's playing all the snaps because they don't have any wide receivers. So Jacobe Meyers last year had a better perimeter yards per out run than slot yards per out run. He had a one point nine yards per out run rate from the From the outside, I think that he's fine there. He can work in a lot of different places. I don't want him to go to like Buffalo, because I think Buffalo needs a field stretcher, like a Rashid Shahed type. I would love to see Shaheed get to Buffalo. He would work in New England because it gives them, you know, more versatility at the line, and they could throw him and Digs and just kind of rotate them and allow Digs to play more in the slot, where he's been a lot better. I mean, Diggs has been good, like when he's got when he's been running routes. You know, if he goes to New York to the Giants, think that would work, that's fine. So there's definitely places for him where I think that his fantasy value would increase a little bit. I'm rooting for the Giants personally because I want I mean, this is more of a selfish thing, but I want Jackson Dart to really thrive and see what he can do. 00:28:56 Speaker 3: And you know, I want steff On. 00:28:58 Speaker 1: Diggs to be able to maintain a high target because I like steph On Diggs. 00:29:04 Speaker 2: Yeah he I mean this is he needs to get healthy because this is the week against the Titans. We'll talk about that game later. One more week though. For the Ravens Lamar Jackson expect to return week eight. We can all rejoice. 00:29:20 Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you got a buise. Talked about that in the fifty transaction show. You know, he's not the most like high highest ceiling piece in the world, despite what he did in week one. I think we've seen that since then. But to me, this is like the like as someone who did not draft a ton of Zay Flowers this year. 00:29:38 Speaker 3: I sent a trade out this week. 00:29:40 Speaker 1: I traded Bam Knight and DeVante Smith for Jay Flowers, for instance, to a semi needy team. 00:29:45 Speaker 3: So I'm getting mysea Flowers exposure. 00:29:47 Speaker 2: Now. 00:29:47 Speaker 1: I think others should try to do that because the defense is playing poorly. I think there could be some pass heavier game scripts than normal, and obviously Lamar Jackson's Lamar Jackson, so right now would be the time to buyse while he's on a. 00:30:01 Speaker 2: Okay, is Hubber going to ruin the party? He's going to ruin our Rico party one hundred percent. 00:30:08 Speaker 1: Oh gosh to me, like I said this in my rankings, and then the on the Patreon like, I don't know, No one knows exactly what this split's gonna look like, and I think that the default answer for analysts is like it's gonna be fifty to fifty, which I think is like fair, right, But if you think about like how that offense was operating before the injury happened, let's just say it was seventy thirty, because it was like it started out like ninety ten in Tuba's favor to start the year, and then that was the first game, and then they started using Rico Daudele a little bit more and it was like, let's say seventy thirty. I think, like I had Rico ranked ahead of Cuba in my rest of season rankings this week only because there was a chance that Cuba wouldn't play this week, and if that was the case, then you had more value in Rico rest of season. I'm of the belief I think, deep down, if you want like a truth serum take from me, I think Cuba probably not maybe not this week, but gets more work than ric o'dowdell rest of season if both of them are healthy. But I think it's like a fifty five to forty five type situation. Yeah, after this week's proably a little bit diferent because they'll ease Tuba back in well. 00:31:24 Speaker 2: And this, I mean just give you a little bit of flowers. You talked about how their schedule was good for the first part of the season. But if you if you either A followed that news and traded away Hubbard or b avoided him like I did. At least if you don't have Rico Chubberd's not chubbered Cuba, Hubbard is not killing you, which is good, you know. 00:31:50 Speaker 3: Yeah. 00:31:50 Speaker 1: I also see people like Matt and Chad is saying that Cuba was paid by the Panthers, Like I'm not Rico Daudell had a really small contract that he signed, like this isn't They're. 00:31:59 Speaker 3: Gonna do whatever they need to do to win football games. 00:32:02 Speaker 1: And a football team that pays a running like when we say a very like, try to try to articulate this. The running back position does not get paid that much money. And so yes, we can say this player got paid X number of dollars, but that x number of dollars at running back is not that much greater than a baseline number of dollars because running backs don't get paid that much money. 00:32:26 Speaker 2: Right. 00:32:27 Speaker 1: It's like saying that a worker at McDonald's is making twelve dollars an hour, which probably is way too high for what. 00:32:33 Speaker 3: They would be making. 00:32:34 Speaker 1: Unfortunately, you know, they're making twelve dollars an hour versus someone who's making you know, nine dollars an hour, and you're saying, well, this twelve dollars an hour person is making is being paid a lot more because it is a lot. Say it's it's thirty three percent more, right than that other person, but it's still on a lower dollar value. And it's similar with the running back position. Unfortunately, we all want everyone to get paid, is what I'm saying. But you know, just from like that context, I don't care that much about how much these guys are getting paid. I think that they're just gonna play the best player, and Tuba's good, like, let'sten, so forget that Tuba is also good. They're both good players. And that's why I think it's it's likely gonna go back to how they evaluated things at the beginning of the season, and Tuba's gonna get his fair shot. 00:33:17 Speaker 3: I think. 00:33:17 Speaker 2: Still yeah, Matt's saying they were who they paid. My thing is they've won two games in a row with Rico as a starter. They're not just going to ignore that. Coaches coaches want to win. 00:33:31 Speaker 3: They can't. They can't ignore that. 00:33:32 Speaker 1: Do you know if they ignore not only that, if you want to talk about like the outside pressure or like the you know, a differing pressure than just football. 00:33:40 Speaker 3: The outside pressure would be if they. 00:33:41 Speaker 1: Lose this week and they don't use more Rico do out old, he's gonna get destroyed. 00:33:45 Speaker 3: You know, Like there's there's that too. 00:33:47 Speaker 2: So they got the Jets this week, but they also have they're three and three, which I mean if you would have said, hey, could you be three and three to start to they would take it. Considering the past few years of that franchise. And they still have the Saints twice. You know, they've they they can make a run potentially or at least not get the coach fired. 00:34:07 Speaker 1: I think both Look, look, this is a this is a run first team. They have a decent offensive line. They're gonna use both players and they can both be valuable in fantasy, but not RB one valuable, Like it's not and that was never gonna happen in my opinion for Cuba anyway, unless an injury happened and and Rico you know, went nuts partially because of the matchups that we saw. But you know, I'm not I'm just not, like I think that they're still gonna use Cuba to a decent degree. You know, I don't think this is gonna be Rico's back, but it might be this week, like I said, he's coming back from that injury. But long term, I'll say fifty five to forty five in favor of Cuba. 00:34:45 Speaker 2: All right. Concussions are the absolute worst. Anytime you have brain injuries, it sucks. Yeah, and that's that's a big thing. The you know, the side effect of that is that your fantasy teams also struggle because you've got Marvin Harrison Junior questionable. I don't I don't think how when someone gets a concussion. I'm just automatically in the frame of mind this in twenty twenty five, they're not going to play the following week. 00:35:13 Speaker 1: Yeah, But I think Edwin Portoss did a study a couple. 00:35:18 Speaker 3: Of years ago. 00:35:18 Speaker 2: I love it what he say his name. 00:35:20 Speaker 3: I gotta I gotta give him, you know, he wants to say it that way. 00:35:25 Speaker 1: When I think he did a study a couple of years ago about wide receivers the first week they come back from concussions. 00:35:31 Speaker 3: They do have a dip in performance that first week back. And it could be lack of reps. 00:35:36 Speaker 1: It could be because they're just not as nuanced and able to run their routes as well or what have you. 00:35:41 Speaker 2: But yeah, they said, I hope they're missing S is a brain injury joke. No, that was just, oh you spoke, I just missed an S. I asked the bee with concussions. But we also have now that Josh Downs is out this week. Eighty Mitch will be back, but Josh Downs is out with concussion this week. 00:36:02 Speaker 3: Yeah, we get an uptick. 00:36:03 Speaker 1: I said Alec Pierce in the in the uh on the Sleeper Show. I think that that's the only one that you can really trust, is like a sleeper just because we don't know what the like. I think like Anthony Gold, who I remember prospecting when he came out, like he would be potentially their slot guy. 00:36:26 Speaker 3: But I think Alec Pierce is the safest bed. 00:36:30 Speaker 2: Okay uh and jokes on you. And then I added this one from Trey that I saw in the chat fan in the Flames and Djoku officially out this week. 00:36:41 Speaker 1: Yeah, the problem here is, uh, there's bad weather uh with this Cleveland Miami game, so good for the defenses. I think Fannin can still be okay because there's gonna be lower a Dot throws. But I'm gonna be really like when I adjust the rankings a little bit more, I'm gonna be lower on Jerry Judy, lower on Jalen Waddle. I think the toe rule in that game has already fallen three points. So it's a game we we you know, fortunately, where a lot of us are streaming the Browns defense, which I think is a good I think you can stream Miami at this point too. 00:37:11 Speaker 3: Yeah. 00:37:11 Speaker 2: A shout out to Kevin Roth and a great guy follow him for weather news. He generally like he'll be the one to tell you, hey, this is it's okay to freak out, or like, hey, this is not gonna really affect things all right, quitting fantasy JJ, you said that you would quit fantasy yeah football all together if this one rumor took place you want to tell people what that rumor was. 00:37:35 Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a rumor that the Dolphins are gonna trade Devon a Chan to Seattle. Now I said that as a joke, obviously, but I also would assume that if they move a Chan to Seattle, they're gonna move Kenneth Walker. That's my guess. So there would be a rotation of sorts going on there. But I swear if we have a three headed backfield of Kenneth Walker's, Zach Sharbada and Devon a Chen, not than that Devon a Chan going to the team. I mean, this is why they want to do it, because they aren't using their running backs as receivers. But to a team that has sixteen total targets this year at their their backfield does is not great. 00:38:10 Speaker 3: That's not That's not what I want. 00:38:11 Speaker 2: I want. 00:38:12 Speaker 1: Like, if you have Devona a Chan, you want him to stay put with Mike McDaniel. 00:38:16 Speaker 3: You don't want Mike McDaniel fired. 00:38:17 Speaker 1: You want to a tongue of by loist starting because they peppered him with targets and it's a good environment for him. 00:38:22 Speaker 3: So keep Devon ah Chan where he is. I don't I don't need a trade. Please, today's data. 00:38:31 Speaker 2: All right, we'll get some touchdowns per game charts going on here? 00:38:35 Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, real quick with the UH. With today's data I looked at. I was just curious to see which teams have improved and not improved most year over year within touchdowns per game. No surprise, Dallas one of the teams I was at the top of the list for my projections with the little formula i'd built over the summer. For touchdowns per game. Dallas had one point seventy one last year. They're at three point three to three this year, so that difference is one point six to three touchdowns per game. They're the biggest improvement. One team that I didn't have super high was Indianapolis and they are number two on the list in improvement. Then it's New England, Pittsburgh, the Giants, the Bears, which is good to see, which is not surprising, Seattle, Kansas City, Miami because of what they did. 00:39:24 Speaker 3: Miami's honestly doing what they did with Tua. 00:39:27 Speaker 1: Last year, you know, like last year's numbers were just driven down by when Tua was hurt. And then the Rams round out the top ten, and this includes last night's game. So Pittsburgh up point seven to seven touchdowns per game. On the flip side, at the very bottom of the list, with last night's game included is Cincinnati. 00:39:45 Speaker 2: That's crazy. 00:39:46 Speaker 1: They're down one point four to six touchdowns per game. Tennessee is second worst, minus one point one to one, which is not great because they weren't that great last year. Tennessee has point eight three touchdowns per game. Right now, Oh good, I'm pretty sure. I don't know if we've ever seen. 00:40:02 Speaker 3: Less than a touchdown per game by a team. 00:40:04 Speaker 2: But a new coach. Yeah, this week can't be worse. 00:40:08 Speaker 1: I really should have looked that up to see if we've had I'll do that while I'm well, I'm talking here. Baltimore down almost a touchdown year over year, which isn't that surprising because of the Lamar Jackson stuff. New Orleans is actually down by minus point six touchdowns per game. San Francisco because of the injuries, not surprising minus point five, Tampa Bay minus point five, so there is some regression despite Baker Mayfield playing out of his mind. The Jets minus point five, the Eagles minus point five year over year, and the Chargers. This goes back to what I talked about in the ten Trends episode. I think I think people have this belief that the Chargers are like playing out of their minds offensively, but they're not. 00:40:52 Speaker 3: They haven't been that great offensively this year. 00:40:54 Speaker 2: Yeah, I like that. A little note about the anchoring bias because it is true. People. 00:40:59 Speaker 3: Yeah, I think a lot. 00:40:59 Speaker 1: If you if you were to just ask, you know, one hundred random fantasy players, is the Chargers offense top or bottom half of the league in touchdowns per game? What percent of the one hundred do you think would say top half? 00:41:13 Speaker 2: Ninety eight? 00:41:14 Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it'd be high. By the way. 00:41:16 Speaker 1: The worst team since twenty eleven in touchdowns per game the twenty eleven Los Angeles Rams, well Saint Louis Rams when they had Steve Spagnolo and Josh McDaniels. 00:41:29 Speaker 2: Huh. 00:41:30 Speaker 1: They won two games that year. They averaged one touchdown per game. So right now Tennessee is pacing to be the worst offense of the last fifteen plus years. 00:41:41 Speaker 2: Nice. And added to that, we just got word I just received an alert two minutes ago Adam Scheff reporting covering Ridley is out this week. 00:41:50 Speaker 3: Yeah, no surprise. 00:41:51 Speaker 1: Someone asked, like I could have mentioned Elic i Amnor on the Sleeper Show. I just didn't because it's still a volatile play and the Tennessee offense is averaging point eighty three. 00:42:02 Speaker 3: Touchdowns per game. 00:42:03 Speaker 2: It might be Van Jefferson if he's healthy. 00:42:05 Speaker 1: It could be like that's the thing, Like there's just a lot going on there that I didn't want to force the issue. 00:42:09 Speaker 3: I'm trying to be better about not just throwing plays out there. 00:42:11 Speaker 1: To throw plays out there, which will hopefully make it a more efficient and quality. 00:42:16 Speaker 3: Show each week. 00:42:18 Speaker 2: It's the late round, main event, all right, these are players that you like more than consensus this week, starting with Grandma Golf Grandma Gough. 00:42:27 Speaker 1: I don't have strong takes at a quarterback and wide receiver this week, but at quarterback, I have GoF one spot ahead of consensus. But he's also in a tier ahead, like I have them in a tier that's higher than where people have them ranked. So I'm gonna shout him out. He's in Detroit. They have a twenty nine point applied team total. They're facing the Bucks. That's the eleventh best matchup by justin points allowed for quarterbacks. The one concern I have also By the way, I get so frustrated because every week there's a Thursday Night guy. I was five spots ahead with Aaron Rodgers this week, and I would have called him out on the show and I could. 00:43:03 Speaker 2: And you had Flacco as a streamer. 00:43:05 Speaker 1: I had Flacco as a deep. I wasn't as confident as in Flacco. But the Rogers stuff to me was like a very clear like play. 00:43:11 Speaker 2: You know. 00:43:11 Speaker 1: I talked about the pressure rate stuff and how he was in a clean pocket. So I can't call him out here because he obviously already played, but I would have called him out. 00:43:18 Speaker 3: Just remember that. But yeah, Goth, I'm a little bit concerned this. 00:43:23 Speaker 1: I have a pace score that I that I put together every week that I share with people in the discord in a in a matchup chart that I post each week, and the pace scorer in this game is low, So there's like these are slower offenses. That's a little bit concerning. But the team total, the location, the environment, it's all good. 00:43:41 Speaker 3: For Jared Gough. 00:43:44 Speaker 2: Okay, let's look at running back where you've got poster boy cover boy Rashad White. 00:43:49 Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I'm just like, why is he being ranked where he's being ranked. That's that's really what this comes down to, Like, what more does he have to do? 00:43:55 Speaker 2: Right? 00:43:56 Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I think, of course he can he can flop, but I think logically I haven't at RB eleven consensus RB eighteen, so this is a pretty big gap. But he's been a top ten back in back to back weeks, scored twenty three and eighteen PPR points. The usage is there, seventy eight percent running back rush air per game, about a thirteen percent target shair per game. I mean, he's been a bellcow for Tampa Bay. And also there's a lack of weapons, right Mike Evans is hopefully coming back, but you have no Mecha Buca, you have no Chris Godwin. Looks will get funneled to the running backs, and there's a one hundred percent target share pie if guys downfield aren't getting open, that's the dump off option is Rashad White and Detroit is actually ninth in the league and adjusted target share allowed to running backs. So I like Rashad White this week. You know, I think people are I don't know, I mean, like there are some good running back options, so maybe that's why I just I can't imagine playing like, you know, DeAndre Swift over him, even though I like Swift a lot. You know, the environment in this game is just better, and he's seeing just as good, if not better, peripherals than Swift is. So to me, it's like, all right, better game environment. You know, I think Rashad White is probably just as good of maybe not quite as good of a running back, but I don't know, like probably comparable enough. I'm just gonna go with the environment as the tie breaker there. 00:45:16 Speaker 2: Okay, let's get to wide receiver. You got Corland Sutton up there, and this is this isn't sexy enough for me. Jj. 00:45:26 Speaker 1: I know the the I had Michael Pittman in here, but then people adjusted their rankings because of like the Josh Dollen stuff, and then I realized, oh, I'm at market with Michael Pittman, so I do adjust thrown out Courtland Sutton. I'm two spots ahead of consensus, so it's not much. I'm pretty chocky a wide receiver this week. They you know, he gets a six best matchup for wide receivers by justin points allowed. Denver has a top five pressure rate matchup this week. So every week part of that matchup sheet that I send to Discord members is a is a pressure rate matchup where I look at pressure rate allowed versus pressure rate generated. And that was one of the reasons why I liked Aaron Rodgers last night is because it was second best among all quarterbacks in week in week seven, Uh, this is a top five to one for Denver, so bo Nick should have some time to let plays develop. You know, Corlin Sutton has seen in consistent target shairs, but obviously he has some touchdown upside. 00:46:24 Speaker 3: But he's also you know, if. 00:46:25 Speaker 1: You're a pattern person, every other week he has a good target share, and this is a week where he would have a good target share. 00:46:31 Speaker 3: So maybe this is the week that he goes off and. 00:46:35 Speaker 2: For tight end. You said, we talk about this guy later and we are now. It's zach Ertz. 00:46:38 Speaker 1: Game environment is amazing. What's the game total? What's the what's the total of this game? 00:46:43 Speaker 2: Now? It is the second highest team total with fifty three and a half. No, no, no, no, that's not right. It's fifty four and a half. 00:46:50 Speaker 3: Yeah, that's kind of yeah, highest of the week. 00:46:53 Speaker 1: Yeah, And so the game environment's awesome. You have banged up wide receivers. You know, the Cowboys are worse against wide receivers and running backs, but they're still, you know, a top half opponent for tight ends by justin points allowed. So I've urged a tight end ten this week when consensus has n't a tight end fourteen. 00:47:12 Speaker 2: Okay, let's get to the bold predictions, starting with the Giants. 00:47:18 Speaker 1: Yeah, first one that I think the Giants do the opposite of what they did last week offensively. So last week I talked about justin fields as sing the b I think there's a chance now. I completely flopped in my other bold prediction last week with Juwan Jennings, but I also didn't know Juwan Jennings had fourteen broken ribs and like, you know, just just absurd, like he's just he's just completely depleted. And I had no idea that it was that bad. Anyway, I think the Giants could have a tough time against Denver. You know, last week they faced a pressure on a season low twenty six and a half percent of their dropbacks. Philly's defense played really bad. It was similar to like Pittsburgh. I mean, Pittsburgh was worse last night, but Philadelphia's defense did not play good a couple weeks ago on Thursday Night. Last time we saw them last week, not a couple weeks ago, but last week. Denver has a top three pressure rate in all football, so she'll be able to get to the quarterback and the Broncos of all, I said this with Justin Fields last week. The Broncos have been good against mobile quarterbacks and that worries me a little bit with Jackson Dart, so I think there's a chance that we see the Giants this week s the b offensively. 00:48:25 Speaker 2: There you go, and the next one. I was a little bit surprised when I saw your rankings because I'm like, oh, as someone who has a team with both Xavier Worthy and Rice on there, I'm like, I'm just assuming that I'm replacing one with the other. But you had a pretty decent ranking for for Xavier Worthy this week as well. 00:48:42 Speaker 1: Yeah, I like both of them, Like I think Rashid Rice can have a great game. But I try to think about it, you know. I kind of talked about this earlier at the top of the show with like market sentiment and the way that like the general consensus just like thinks and vibes, because that to me, the psychology opponent. The psychological component can really you can find an edge in fantasy football and win just by looking at what consensus is saying, kind of doing the opposite of that, or like not even just like what they're saying, but the logic behind what they're saying. Right, And to me, this bold prediction is that Xavier Worthy shines in this game and makes everyone think that Rashi Rice is actually gonna help Xavier Worthy. But I think there's a chance he shines in this game because the matchup is really strong for him, right, Like I'm aggressive with Rashie Rice in my rankings, you should be playing him. This is not an anti Rice take, but Vegas is a bottom five team in the league and adjusted slot target share allowed, so they're they're they're they're worse against perimeter players, which I think with Rashi Rice back, will see Xavier Worthy play more on the outside. They're a top ten team and deep ball completion rate allowed, and the Chiefs had the best pressure rate matchup that I was just talking about earlier in the league this week, which means Patrick Mahomes is going to have time to let plays develop, not just get it out to Rashi Rice. On you know, like they what like we saw with Jamar Chase last night, and if he has time for plays to develop, we might see Xavier Worthy down the field a little bit more So if we get a big play from Worthy, maybe two, then I think that that's gonna be the narrative is that Rashie Rice actually helps him. But it could just be that this is a matchup based thing, like this is what I'm you know, like, that's how I try to think about this stuff, is that this is a singular game, a singular matchup, and a lot of different things can happen in that singular matchup. 00:50:33 Speaker 3: We shouldn't just attribute that as how it's going to go the rest of the season. 00:50:39 Speaker 2: Favorite comment so far today in the chat is Thomas talking about your Jawan Jennings said, not me probing my chest and cutting out many ribs. 00:50:49 Speaker 1: I think we only have like fourteen ribs anyway, but they're all broken for Juwan Jennings. 00:50:53 Speaker 3: I have no idea how many ribs. 00:50:54 Speaker 2: I think you guys have thirteen ribs. That's gonna be my answer. That's like, who's are you smarter than a four grader? 00:51:01 Speaker 1: Yeah? 00:51:02 Speaker 3: I mean I just googled it a typical games twenty four ribs. 00:51:05 Speaker 2: Oh, we're a way off. 00:51:07 Speaker 1: How would they have thirteen though? Wouldn't need to be an even number? You know, have one just like chilling on the bottom. Do you. 00:51:20 Speaker 3: We need I need to. 00:51:22 Speaker 2: Figure out the Uh? I love, I love like eating ribs, but I need. 00:51:27 Speaker 3: You need to go to the doctor. 00:51:28 Speaker 2: Do I need to? I do have one extra vertebrae? 00:51:33 Speaker 3: Oh maybe you have a extra rib? Yeah? Yeah, so there you go. 00:51:37 Speaker 2: Okay, uh, let's get to the look ahead waver wire. 00:51:44 Speaker 3: All right, I'll go through this pretty quick. 00:51:46 Speaker 1: Jack Besh because of the Jacobe Meyers stuff, but also he saw an eighty percent route share last week. Luther Burden saw a little bit of an uptick last week, A little bit. It's gradually happening. He's been good like in a lot Day's a Kiss. 00:52:00 Speaker 3: Was not good in that game, Like visually, I didn't look at the data, but. 00:52:04 Speaker 1: Like watching that game, I just think Burden is a better player than alamindz A Kias And I think as the season goes on, we're going to see more and more Luther Burden. Michael Pennix as an ad because next week they get Miami Joe Flacco as an AD because of what he did on Thursday night. But also, you know, I talked about this on fifteen Transactions, like he has a good rest of season schedule. 00:52:26 Speaker 3: Didn't I talk about Flaco on fifteen? Or did I remove that one? 00:52:31 Speaker 2: You talked about Flacco? 00:52:32 Speaker 3: I think on the Sleeper show I did, But I think I talked about him on fifteen. Maybe I didn't. 00:52:36 Speaker 1: If I didn't, I had him and then I would have replaced him or something. Pretty sure I did, though, I think you. 00:52:41 Speaker 2: Did talk about him on the Transaction show because you'd like to schedule going forward. 00:52:46 Speaker 3: That's right, That's what I'm saying. 00:52:47 Speaker 1: Yeah, I always it's so bizarre that like I can't remember, but yes I did. 00:52:52 Speaker 3: I did. 00:52:52 Speaker 1: I talked about he was he was an AD this week ad Joe Flacco right before adding the Cleveland Browns defense because I have some I have like seventeen transactions, or I write a transaction and then something happens and I replace it and stuff like that, so I couldn't remember for sure. 00:53:08 Speaker 3: So Joe Flako's an AD. 00:53:10 Speaker 1: Sterling Shepherd tes Johnson for obvious reasons, although yeah, I mean, you're probably only get one week after this week with them Jalen Coker. We'll see what happens with with Carolina and Coker, but I still think that he's a good ad. I think my favorite sneaky ad is Pat Bryant, who I talked about on the Sleeper Show this week, where he's seeing more and more work. He has a good slot matchup this week, he's playing more in the slot, but again a rookie wide receiver, where we want to be ahead of this of them getting like Jack Besh, we want to be ahead with them getting more and more work because these are the kinds of archetype of players that end up doing well during the second half of the season, and this is a decent enough offense where he could carve out a role like I don't think Troy Franklin has shown us that he's like a stud or Marvin Mims, and Pat Bryant was a decent prospect, so I think he's a really like in deeper leagues. I think he's a really fun stash right now. DeAndre Swift is questionable for the weekend, so look at that backfield with Kyle Manungai and Roshawn Johnson, Tajy Spears, I think is still way undervalued based on how bad that Tennessee offense is and the fact that they're going to see a lot of negative game scripts. Mason Taylor gets Cincinnati next week. We just saw what happened with that Bengals defense against the Steelers. Tight ends Aronda Gatston still only a two percent roster ship at this moment, even though he ran like seventy seven percent of the routes last week, and that was with Will Disley back and then there wasn't really an obvious streamer. I'm gonna have to wait and see kind of what happens this weekend. Maybe there's a quarterback injury, knock on Wood or something like that. But right now, Indianapolis they're like fifty percent rostered. They get the Titans next week, so that would be the easier stash at defense. 00:54:51 Speaker 3: A lot of anti Titan sentiment on this show. 00:54:54 Speaker 2: I get it, listen, I get it. I mean, I'm in the camp of I want cam Ward to some just signs that he will be okay, Like you know, yeah, just give me a pulse that this coach coaching staff hasn't helped to ruin this kid. 00:55:13 Speaker 3: If you if you. 00:55:13 Speaker 1: Strictly go buy data and usually like the data is in the right direction. With this kind of stuff, it's not guaranteed, but it's in the right direction. And where he's at right now is not good. We don't see players work out at where he's at. 00:55:29 Speaker 3: Jackson Darten. On the other hand, it looks good. He looks good. Good. 00:55:33 Speaker 2: All right, let's get to the quad box. Thomas will ask earlier what's the purpose of the quad box? He's catching this live and the podcast doesn't make it clear. The purpose is. Hey, we're just looking at four games that we're looking forward to watching this weekend. Shout out free shoutout to YouTube TV for allowing the multiview where you can watch four games at one time. 00:56:03 Speaker 3: Really just setting this up for a YouTube sponsor. 00:56:08 Speaker 2: Or, like anybody else like to, I'll I'll take a to be sponsor. You know, if they want to them. 00:56:13 Speaker 3: You shall, We'll see. 00:56:16 Speaker 1: We'll see about that, Okay, But I mean, do you want to go first? I mean I think that I'll go Chock Commanders Cowboys first. I'll do that, Okay, I'll type it in. 00:56:27 Speaker 2: Okay, you just copy and paste if you wanted to. 00:56:29 Speaker 3: Yeah, I could have done that, but I did that. Commanders. 00:56:33 Speaker 2: Listen, listen. We've got two Monday night football games, but right now I'm focused on one game. One. 00:56:42 Speaker 3: No, you're not You're not being it's it's not It's not a homer. 00:56:46 Speaker 1: Oh this is a you You think people care that much about Mike Rabel? Do you think people care that much? I think it's just good. 00:56:54 Speaker 3: I think it cares kitchen. 00:56:56 Speaker 2: There's so much drama. You don't appreciate that, you know, this is I don't I don't want to stereotype all the analytical guys out there, but this is the problem with you guys where you don't you don't take into a like consideration the emotional aspect of things. No. One, Titans just fired their coach. They're playing against their ex coach. You know, the hot the hot boyfriend across the sidelines. You got Drake May throwing to uh, you know whoever. But he's a guy that I have a lot of exposure to. And just give me a little bit of hope. But I want the Patriots to put up a ton of points. You got Trayvon Henderson. 00:57:39 Speaker 1: Okay, but at the very least, this is a bad draft selection because you could have taken them forth. 00:57:46 Speaker 2: I'm I'm letting you pick whoever you want. I don't want to take one. 00:57:48 Speaker 3: Of your picks. All right, fine, fine, this. 00:57:51 Speaker 2: Is a free square for me. 00:57:52 Speaker 1: I'm just saying, if we were to pull people if they're interested in the mic Rabel storyline, nine percent of people would say no. 00:58:00 Speaker 3: If you were to say would. 00:58:01 Speaker 1: You rather rather watch the Patriots Titans or the Buccaneers Lions to a group of people playing fantasy football, yeah, what percent do you think would say Buccaneers Lions? 00:58:12 Speaker 3: Ninety seven? 00:58:13 Speaker 2: Right, I'm sorry, I thought this is the quad box where we picked out games that we wanted to watch sor right up the multi When I pull up the multiview on Sunday, I'm not gonna say, well, I can't watch the Titans in the pasts because there's only two percent of us want to watch this game. 00:58:31 Speaker 3: I'm going Bucks Lions next. 00:58:33 Speaker 2: Where do you get your ideas? My night football? 00:58:36 Speaker 1: This is the easiest week ever for this and you're taking you're taking Patriots Titans. 00:58:42 Speaker 2: I want, you know what, just for that JJ, here we go. You know what I'm gonna do? You know a game? I really want to watch? What game? I'm excited about. 00:58:53 Speaker 3: Don't do it. 00:58:54 Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna do it. See how versus the Texans? 00:59:03 Speaker 3: Why? Oh, because because you want me to hate life? Yeah before yeah yah yeah yeahyeah yeah. 00:59:10 Speaker 2: It's the latest game on Monday night. It's a ten pm Eastern game, and lineups are gonna be one. Matchups are gonna be won or lost based on this game. Right here. Let me have the Late Night Hammer. 00:59:26 Speaker 1: You can have the Late Night Hammer, but I'm gonna hate my life on Monday because I'm not gonna go to bed until one thirty two o'clock in the morning. 00:59:32 Speaker 3: Is that have to work after the games are over? So you're kind of you're kind of just like taking. 00:59:37 Speaker 1: A hold for yourself with your boss here, buddy, because. 00:59:41 Speaker 2: My boss just be rated my personal Titans and Pats pick. Yeah. Well, okay, if I didn't like the Patriots and Titans, I honestly i'd probably look at I'm trying to figure out where there's there's two. 00:59:58 Speaker 1: I think there's two that you can go outside of this, outside of that one. 01:00:04 Speaker 2: Okay, I mean, Commanders, you've got the two that's really I'm interested in. I kind of want it's not gonna be a great game. But I kind of want the Raiders at Chiefs just as so I can see what Rice does. But who are the ones you were thinking of? 01:00:19 Speaker 1: I think I think Colt's Chargers is gonna be interesting, and then I think Rams Jags in in London. 01:00:27 Speaker 2: I just I can't get down with London games. They never go off. 01:00:33 Speaker 3: This one will. 01:00:36 Speaker 2: Take the over. 01:00:38 Speaker 3: There's my there's my analysis. 01:00:41 Speaker 2: This one will this this game. 01:00:43 Speaker 3: In London, this one, this one will will will go off. 01:00:47 Speaker 2: Okay, I I will not watch that Dolphins Brown's game. Chargers is a good game, Yeah it is. There's some ugly games though, like did Dolphins and Brown Panthers and Jets, Packers and Cardinals. I can't. 01:01:05 Speaker 1: Okay, so you you you put this in before Wines. All Wines shifted because I was like, why would the Dolphins Browns be ahead of the Broncos Giants from a game total perspective? 01:01:15 Speaker 2: Yeah? All right, JJ. Do you have any final thoughts? 01:01:21 Speaker 1: I don't go listen to content if you missed any of it this week. I guess I do a final thoughts if I'm going to say that, uh, go listen to content if you missed it. 01:01:29 Speaker 3: Uh, you know, the Sleeper show is still very valid. 01:01:32 Speaker 1: Drop the mail Bag had a great conversation with Andrew Erickson on Late Round perspectives. Check that out. But yeah, I appreciate everyone for listening. Uh, I don't I know that. I say it every show, but I genuinely mean it, like the appreciation for people to like sit and put their earbuds in or listen to the car or whatever it may be. To me talk about fantasy football largely me, you know, because it's me and you or me and a guest on perspective, but otherwise this is just me, and I genuinely, genuinely, genuinely, genuinely appreciate that support doesn't get lost on me. 01:02:09 Speaker 2: Redacted said this the saddest this one will of all time. 01:02:13 Speaker 3: This one's gonna go over guys. 01:02:15 Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll just piggyback that off of that and say my kids, you know, they they get in the car and it's it's JJ over the stereo. So it's like they're almost like a little sick of JJ right now, but they understand, Hey, this is this is Dad's boss. 01:02:32 Speaker 3: That's right. You gotta you gotta listen. You gotta listen to me. 01:02:34 Speaker 2: And so belated Happy National Boss's Day to my boss who puts out a ton of content. JJ. We appreciate you.
