<v Speaker 1>Famly? Welcome back to another episode of Living Boldly with
<v Speaker 1>Doctor Z, the space where we lean into faith, purpose
<v Speaker 1>and the boldness God placed in each of us. Oh wow,
<v Speaker 1>welcome back ball once Bo. Today, I want to speak
<v Speaker 1>directly to your heart with this message. Faith over fear,
<v Speaker 1>trust in God. And in certain times it's just something
<v Speaker 1>that we have to do. I know sometimes with things
<v Speaker 1>that's going on in this world and in life, it's hard,
<v Speaker 1>you know, just trust in God for some of us.
<v Speaker 1>But trusting in God is the best way to go.
<v Speaker 1>And because let's be real, life, get hit hard. I mean,
<v Speaker 1>whoo it can be like a hurricane that hit you,
<v Speaker 1>you know, just just tear up everything. You know. Life
<v Speaker 1>can hit hard, bills can stack up, you know, relationships
<v Speaker 1>get tested, our health and our dreams, our peace of mind,
<v Speaker 1>you know, all of it can feel like it's you know,
<v Speaker 1>on the edge. And in those moments, you know, fear
<v Speaker 1>wants to creep in and take the dry receipt. But
<v Speaker 1>you know, today I want to remind you that fear
<v Speaker 1>may not but it doesn't have to move in, you know,
<v Speaker 1>because we serve a God who is bigger than any
<v Speaker 1>storm that may come our way. Now, I'm gonna give
<v Speaker 1>some scripture foundation on this topic. Second Timothy, first through
<v Speaker 1>seventh verse, it says, for God has not given us
<v Speaker 1>the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a
<v Speaker 1>sound mind. Let that sink in fear is not from God.
<v Speaker 1>Power is love is a sound mind is So anytime
<v Speaker 1>first shows up, we need to recognize that it's not
<v Speaker 1>heaven sin no, no, no no, And we don't want
<v Speaker 1>well and we don't have to agree with it. Okay, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I like, yeah, I was gonna say, want to some
<v Speaker 1>of us don't want to, but we don't have to
<v Speaker 1>agree with it. When it comes our way. You know,
<v Speaker 1>Fear does paralyze, but faith mobilizes and it gets us going.
<v Speaker 1>You know, Fear tells you to shrink, but faith tells
<v Speaker 1>you to rise. Fear tells you what if it all
<v Speaker 1>goes wrong? But Faith says, but what if God shows up?
<v Speaker 1>Like he always does? And you know what, that's one
<v Speaker 1>thing God does for me and my family. He always
<v Speaker 1>shows up, and he shows up right on time. And
<v Speaker 1>sometimes it's not about having a whole plan, it's about
<v Speaker 1>trusting the one who holds the plan. And you know
<v Speaker 1>that's God. And I know that's not easy all the time.
<v Speaker 1>Trust me. You know, I've had my own seasons of
<v Speaker 1>wrestling with the unknown. But and every moment when I
<v Speaker 1>choose faith, God met me there, you know. And God
<v Speaker 1>has been there for me throughout every obstacle that I've
<v Speaker 1>been through in my life. Heith, I'm a living witness.
<v Speaker 1>I have a testimony, you know. And I know that's
<v Speaker 1>one thing that you guys were here throughout each episode
<v Speaker 1>of Living Bowling with Doctor Z because this is my
<v Speaker 1>own personal testimony in this show of things that I've
<v Speaker 1>actually experienced and been through in my life. So let's
<v Speaker 1>pause and reflect I want you to ask yourself, where
<v Speaker 1>have I been letting fear drive my decisions. Also another
<v Speaker 1>question you can ask yourself is what would it look
<v Speaker 1>like to give God full control again? You know, sometimes
<v Speaker 1>we think trusting God means we won't feel afraid, but
<v Speaker 1>that's not it. Trusting God means we move forward anyway,
<v Speaker 1>holding His promises tighter than a problem in front of us.
<v Speaker 1>And some practical ways to walk in faith over fear
<v Speaker 1>is I'll say, start your day in prayer and the
<v Speaker 1>Word and feed your faith daily, and you know that
<v Speaker 1>helps so much. Speak God's promises out loud, you know,
<v Speaker 1>replace fear filled thoughts with the truth. And another thing
<v Speaker 1>is surround yourself with bold believers bond because we're not
<v Speaker 1>meant to walk this alone, so don't forget about your tribe.
<v Speaker 1>And also lend me your intake of fear based media.
<v Speaker 1>Protect your spirit at all times. And also another thing
<v Speaker 1>you can do is journal what God has already done
<v Speaker 1>for you. Your past victories are proof that He's not done
<v Speaker 1>with you yet, and there's so much more to come.
<v Speaker 1>So let me be real with you. There were times
<v Speaker 1>I didn't see the way ahead. Times I cried out, God,
<v Speaker 1>are you still with me. And in those moments, I
<v Speaker 1>didn't need all the answers. I just needed to remember
<v Speaker 1>who God is, faithful, present, and undefeated. Woo. You know
<v Speaker 1>they always say that that Internet is undefeated, but guess
<v Speaker 1>what the God is undefeated? Is that nobody's defeated him ever.
<v Speaker 1>Now I want to get into a bold prayer. Boo, God,
<v Speaker 1>let me pray over you real quick. Father. For every
<v Speaker 1>person listening right now, I speak peace, I speak boldness,
<v Speaker 1>I speak trust. Remind them that you are with them
<v Speaker 1>and the fire in the valley, in the silence, let
<v Speaker 1>faith rise up where fear tried to settle in. Let
<v Speaker 1>them remember who they are and more importantly, whose they are.
<v Speaker 1>In Jesus' name, we pray Amen. Now, I want to
<v Speaker 1>thank you for spending this time with me today. And
<v Speaker 1>if this message blessed you, please share it with someone
<v Speaker 1>who needs a reminder to choose faith over fear. And
<v Speaker 1>remember your faith is not weak because you feel afraid.
<v Speaker 1>Your faith is powerful because you keep going anyway, you know,
<v Speaker 1>And that's one thing that you have to remember, is
<v Speaker 1>you gotta keep going because that's what God would want
<v Speaker 1>you to do. He would want you to keep going.
<v Speaker 1>He would want you to stop. He wouldn't want you
<v Speaker 1>to allow fear to take over. Okay, So before I go,
