<v Speaker 1>Welcome in. <v Speaker 2>Let's go kick, clap and cut it this long time <v Speaker 2>we are. <v Speaker 3>It is somewhat cool and chill breezy day down here <v Speaker 3>in Pennsylvania. I'm joined as always by him, my new <v Speaker 3>resident co producer. <v Speaker 2>I suppose so I want to cut to myself, but <v Speaker 2>then it's going to show that Bengals would. <v Speaker 1>Hawker, it'd be me for a second, alluding to biscuit. <v Speaker 2>Hey, I got just the thing. I got just the thing. <v Speaker 2>I got just the thing. <v Speaker 4>What do you got? You gotta turn that back up. <v Speaker 2>I do have to turn it back up. What we got? <v Speaker 2>Claps now? <v Speaker 3>Uh bingals here as a as a fun little treat, <v Speaker 3>And we're early for a day, early for the podcast <v Speaker 3>because I am busy tomorrow. <v Speaker 4>I don't know if I even want to say what <v Speaker 4>I'm doing. <v Speaker 2>That's entirely up to you. Whatever I'm doing. <v Speaker 3>Something, I'm gonna be gone for a few days, and <v Speaker 3>as a result, Fry Biscuits. He will be watching my <v Speaker 3>house and watching Dollar as he so often does whenever <v Speaker 3>we have to go anywhere outside of Pennsylvania for more <v Speaker 3>than a day. <v Speaker 1>True, So thanks for my biscuits. Thanks for doing that anytime. King, <v Speaker 1>I appreciate you. How you been not bad, not bad, <v Speaker 1>not bad, Okay, not good either. <v Speaker 2>I mean, you know, just tell us everything about what's <v Speaker 2>going on your life. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, what's going on? <v Speaker 5>Oh there's you know, just stuff. <v Speaker 3>That's lots of stuff, all right, glad I asked, uh, <v Speaker 3>even keeping up with Nintendo, because that's what this podcast <v Speaker 3>is about. <v Speaker 2>Today. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, I mean I saw the today. I saw the thing. <v Speaker 5>I saw the thing that the museum. Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's going to be most of today. <v Speaker 3>I'm very excited because of what's happening with me over <v Speaker 3>the next few days. I have not had a chance <v Speaker 3>to react to this or I did a few tweets <v Speaker 3>because I was I watched. <v Speaker 1>All of Live actually all it was reacting to it. <v Speaker 1>Make that make the face because I'm annoyed that I <v Speaker 1>didn't get to do anything. <v Speaker 4>But I was preparing. <v Speaker 3>I was getting everything ready for content wise while I <v Speaker 3>was gone and getting this obviously organized. But anyway, I <v Speaker 3>have seen it. I did some tweets. I saw the <v Speaker 3>giant we mote. Have you seen that I did? I <v Speaker 3>did see that. That's really so cool. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, the. <v Speaker 1>Excited I'm excited about all I saw. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, And I was also like I was making a <v Speaker 3>thumbnail and half paying attention. So this is going to <v Speaker 3>make my chance to really dive into it with people <v Speaker 3>that care about what I say about things. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, is that you what in chat? If that's you <v Speaker 1>what in chat? If you're losing? <v Speaker 4>Okay, all right, I kidding. <v Speaker 3>I need all the help I can get, and I <v Speaker 3>love each and every one of you. First up, I <v Speaker 3>want to address the audio issues because we keep forgetting <v Speaker 3>every week, Yes, almost every single week. I see the <v Speaker 3>comments of people saying that the audio is too. <v Speaker 4>Low in the episode, and. <v Speaker 2>I am I am fired. <v Speaker 4>Consistently constantly and regularly fire. <v Speaker 2>I am fired again? <v Speaker 4>Yeah is his fault? <v Speaker 5>Sure? <v Speaker 1>Now we've seen them and we're trying. <v Speaker 3>Please let us know if you're a live right now, <v Speaker 3>how everything sounds and what do you. <v Speaker 2>Just just someone in Chad just said I'm a loser. <v Speaker 4>Well no, I love that. Thank you, Thank you. If <v Speaker 4>you're one of my losers, I'm a loser with you and. <v Speaker 5>I love you. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, we're consistently trying. We don't know what's going on <v Speaker 3>because you guys and I notice it too. You know, <v Speaker 3>I'll go to the episode and I mean you can <v Speaker 3>crank it and it sounds fine, but then you do <v Speaker 3>get hit with the ads that are like three times <v Speaker 3>the volume. But the thing is that that's happening across <v Speaker 3>the channel, whether we're doing it from my house or <v Speaker 3>in the studio, which doesn't make sense because here we're <v Speaker 3>doing a remote setup and we're using all of my stuff. <v Speaker 3>In the studio, we're using all of these stuff my stuff. <v Speaker 3>For example, I stream on this stuff and everyone said, no, <v Speaker 3>no one's I make videos on this stuff on my <v Speaker 3>channel and it's all fine. So we've tried cranking the <v Speaker 3>decipels past what is normal for this episode. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, there's something. There's something different going on, you know <v Speaker 2>with podcasts or or I guess live content on YouTube <v Speaker 2>versus like pre made content on YouTube when it comes <v Speaker 2>to audio, but who knows. Everyone in the chat says, <v Speaker 2>sounds good in audio fire right now, So I'm kind <v Speaker 2>of in a good place. Also got a super chat <v Speaker 2>if you want to look at that. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, give it to me. I can't see right. <v Speaker 2>Coming from Monado. Max. <v Speaker 1>Oh, I love that. <v Speaker 2>Guy says it's been so long since I got to <v Speaker 2>watch this live since I always work on Thursday. I <v Speaker 2>am pumped for this. <v Speaker 3>Thank you, Max. You appreciate you, We love you. We <v Speaker 3>appreciate all the stupid chats too. Uh yeah, we're live <v Speaker 3>a day earlier, and if you're joining us here on <v Speaker 3>the Wednesday, thank you. It also gives us a chance, though, <v Speaker 3>to look at this museum direct before it. <v Speaker 4>Gets to day to day. <v Speaker 3>I mean it was at this point, it was two <v Speaker 3>days ago, which in internet culture years, it's gone decades. <v Speaker 3>She really should on it sooner, so we could have <v Speaker 3>been more demure, more and more mindful. <v Speaker 2>We're not. We're not just gonna start throwing around terms. <v Speaker 1>All right, Well, I want to use him now because <v Speaker 1>I've done tomorrow. <v Speaker 2>That's true. Yeah, this is my one chance. <v Speaker 3>Ah, all right, you got a voicemail for me, and <v Speaker 3>then we'll dive into this museum. <v Speaker 2>I do, and I'm very excited. My gosh, brother, all right, <v Speaker 2>here's your voicemail. I would, oh no, not that voicemail. <v Speaker 1>I'd love to hear that one, though. <v Speaker 2>Do you want to hear that one? <v Speaker 4>All right, you don't have to play that one, Okay. <v Speaker 2>Hold on in the wrong shattos and hold on here <v Speaker 2>it is. I would. <v Speaker 1>I was wondering, so I started game collecting. I was <v Speaker 1>wondering how you would recommend collecting? <v Speaker 2>All right, thank you? <v Speaker 5>Bye? <v Speaker 2>Simple elegant. <v Speaker 3>I hate the people that just go on and on <v Speaker 3>and on right, like like that guy right there, learn <v Speaker 3>how to reel it in. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, let's shorten it down the five seconds next. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I can't come on it short. <v Speaker 4>I didn't even get his name. <v Speaker 2>I don't think he gave a name. I don't think <v Speaker 2>he gave him. Also, it was kind of quiet, but yeah, <v Speaker 2>he was just asking about like collecting games. <v Speaker 4>What was the question? The question was, he. <v Speaker 2>Said, how do you recommend collecting? <v Speaker 3>How do I recommend collecting? Oh, let me think about it. <v Speaker 3>How do I recommend it? <v Speaker 5>I do? <v Speaker 3>I do recommend it? Yeah, go for it. <v Speaker 1>It did. <v Speaker 3>I mean it sounds like more he's asking for collecting tips. <v Speaker 3>But that's kind of you know, what are we doing here? <v Speaker 3>We're doing the newer stuff Nintendo Switch, we're doing retro, <v Speaker 3>We're doing like what are we doing? We're doing game hunting. <v Speaker 3>We go into flea markets, we go on a I <v Speaker 3>mean I need more. I need so much more to <v Speaker 3>go on. <v Speaker 2>I mean I don't I don't do a whole lot <v Speaker 2>of collecting games at all. But I can say as <v Speaker 2>someone who's dealt with a lot of card collectors that <v Speaker 2>knowing prices and understanding the market is actually really important. <v Speaker 2>So if you're looking to collect more expensive stuff, you know, <v Speaker 2>then definitely keep an eye on like what the market's doing. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I mean, yeah, it depends what angle you're going from. <v Speaker 3>But yeah, like Ham said, when I used to start collecting, <v Speaker 3>I'd look everything up on eBay first, I'd go to <v Speaker 3>sould listings on eBay. I would see what other people <v Speaker 3>are paying for it, and then decide whether or not <v Speaker 3>I think it's worth me paying for that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. <v Speaker 3>And if your question is just do I recommend collecting, Yeah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, always always, I mean when it comes from me. <v Speaker 1>For collecting, I go for what interests me at this moment. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>Like if it's this series and like Zelda for example, <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna go full in on that. <v Speaker 5>Yeah whatever. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's funny because I go through that too. And <v Speaker 3>then I'll I'll go so Ham collecting something pun not <v Speaker 3>intended high Ham, And then I'll look at it a <v Speaker 3>year later and be like, I don't want this, crapt <v Speaker 3>why don't I buy this? Why don't I spend so <v Speaker 3>much time buying this? <v Speaker 2>Because you want more red on the wall. <v Speaker 4>Well it's not even the red. <v Speaker 3>It's like I'll look at like when I collected all <v Speaker 3>the anys stuff, and I'm like, why did I do that? <v Speaker 3>I spend so much money and time on that. But <v Speaker 3>then another year we'll pass and I'll I'll find that <v Speaker 3>top at any scams and I'll be like, I'm so <v Speaker 3>glad I have these. <v Speaker 5>I'm so happy that I have these. <v Speaker 4>So all right, good questioning. <v Speaker 3>You know, if you want to leave a voicemail, remember <v Speaker 3>that numbers on your screen right now. <v Speaker 1>It's on your screen right now. <v Speaker 4>It's what is that? <v Speaker 2>Nine two four seven. <v Speaker 3>Make sure to leave a question and feel free to <v Speaker 3>leave your name. Yeah, I don't have to admit the name. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>we want to say to you. Make sure you have <v Speaker 3>a question. We have a lot of Hey love the <v Speaker 3>shows which we love listening to. We do, we do, <v Speaker 3>but doesn't give us much to talk about. Another one <v Speaker 3>nine nine super chat love the podcast guys, keep up <v Speaker 3>the good work, oh my lord. And another super chat <v Speaker 3>as I said that retro collect Speaking of retro collecting, Yeah, <v Speaker 3>hi would I owned the youtub's a fan for a while. <v Speaker 3>Just want to say thanks for everything I have t <v Speaker 3>one d since birth. <v Speaker 4>Now, what is T one D? Do you want to <v Speaker 4>google that for us? <v Speaker 2>You want good research over the laptop. <v Speaker 4>Out and you help distract me from the pain. Oh, <v Speaker 4>from the pain. Okay, I need to know. <v Speaker 2>We've talked about We've talked about the pain many times. <v Speaker 4>The pain. Yeah, we will have the pain. <v Speaker 2>We have the pain. <v Speaker 4>Wait, what was it T one D? Why are you laughing? <v Speaker 5>Because it gave me a type one. <v Speaker 2>That makes sense? <v Speaker 1>That makes sense? Yeah, yeah, mm hmm. <v Speaker 2>What did they say about one D? <v Speaker 4>They said they they've had T one D since both <v Speaker 4>and from the pain. <v Speaker 2>Okay, I got it. I thought they were talking about <v Speaker 2>like depression. <v Speaker 4>Everyone got it. <v Speaker 2>I got I got type one depression. <v Speaker 5>I actually got that. I have. <v Speaker 1>I didn't want to say it, but I was surprised <v Speaker 1>you had to google that. Bingle mm hmmm, I have <v Speaker 1>type two. Okay, that's true. You'd have T two D <v Speaker 1>T two D two completely different thing. All right, love <v Speaker 1>you guys, Thank you so much, all my losers. I <v Speaker 1>appreciate you all. Let's I'm leaning in. This is gonna <v Speaker 1>be a thing now, I'm just leaning into it. <v Speaker 5>All right. <v Speaker 3>You want to take a look at this museum, director, <v Speaker 3>do we have anything else. I mean, I don't know, <v Speaker 3>because I'm excited just to look at it. Okay, let's <v Speaker 3>just do it. Let's just jump in. Why not just <v Speaker 3>jump right in? As Philly d would say, thank you <v Speaker 3>all for being here. It is a thirteen minute Nintendo direct. <v Speaker 3>It was on Monday. Can I say as well that <v Speaker 3>I've been so off the internet recently. I've been trying <v Speaker 3>to stay away from Twitter. And I opened YouTube because <v Speaker 3>I was editing a thumbnail and I saw that this <v Speaker 3>direct was about to go live. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, and I was like, oh, there's a direct. <v Speaker 3>And then yesterday Kim and I were at cheesecake Factory <v Speaker 3>right and I checked my phone and everyone was streaming <v Speaker 3>special events and I'm like, what is this? And then <v Speaker 3>I looked in it was games Calm. I was like, man, <v Speaker 3>I'm trying to be off social media. <v Speaker 2>We're out of the sphere. <v Speaker 4>You don't look at it for a few days, you <v Speaker 4>miss everything. <v Speaker 2>What did you get a cheesecake? <v Speaker 3>I got what I always get, Tuscan chicken. Oh, because <v Speaker 3>it's on the Skinny Delicious menu and it's literally just <v Speaker 3>chicken and furraco frush, fracio rice. <v Speaker 4>I don't know, it's a rice essentially. <v Speaker 2>Whatever, Freay Cocoa rise, yeah, Frey Coco Yeah, sure, all right, <v Speaker 2>full screen. <v Speaker 6>This Nintendo, I'll skim it because people listening can't speak Japanese. <v Speaker 4>Well maybe, yeah, that's true. <v Speaker 3>But Miyamoto is here standing at the front of his museum. <v Speaker 4>His museum. <v Speaker 5>I don't know. <v Speaker 3>I assume he made it. I'm just going to get <v Speaker 3>to the good stuff and the museum. <v Speaker 2>This is like a whole new place though, right. <v Speaker 1>Yeah it is. <v Speaker 3>They've built the building, which I'm gonna be Can I <v Speaker 3>be a little negative. <v Speaker 2>Off the rip, give us some negativity, bro do. <v Speaker 3>It as well as a whole, and we're gonna see <v Speaker 3>it all. But as a whole, I love it awesome, right, <v Speaker 3>And I'm actually really glad. It's more of like a <v Speaker 3>giant place to play video games than it is a museum. <v Speaker 3>But Nintendo built this themselves for the from the ground up, <v Speaker 3>and it just kind of screams to me, even in <v Speaker 3>this still image right here, like empty warehouse that they've <v Speaker 3>put a couple of display shelves in and they're kind <v Speaker 3>of just like renting it out for the day and <v Speaker 3>doing like a little thing. <v Speaker 2>It's looking it's looking at it's giving pop up, giving conventions, <v Speaker 2>giving warehouse, and it's just not very colorful and bright. <v Speaker 3>I mean even the museum cube is a gray. The <v Speaker 3>ceilings all black, the floor and the shelves are all gray. <v Speaker 3>The only popper color you're really getting is from the <v Speaker 3>giant consoles they've made, which I will say, goddamn, I <v Speaker 3>want one of those. Yeah, that giant switch would be <v Speaker 3>so sick to have true us. <v Speaker 2>I read on family comboards that because of all the gray, <v Speaker 2>the next switch to is going to be gray. <v Speaker 1>Really, Oh, I'm totally joking, and Luiki Blood saying that. <v Speaker 2>Luigi Blood said that, uh, that's just. <v Speaker 3>A little bit of negativity, and we will see it <v Speaker 3>more as we look at this tour. I feel like <v Speaker 3>a lot of this museum looks super corporate. But it's fine. <v Speaker 3>I mean, it's it looks fun. At the same time, <v Speaker 3>it's just very quiet. Right now I am I am <v Speaker 3>playing the video. It's their dead Air, not ours. So <v Speaker 3>this is the second floor. As you can see, there <v Speaker 3>are rows here of these displays. You've got GameCube back there. <v Speaker 3>There's even like a giant Virtual Boy controller back there too, <v Speaker 3>which so cool they made it. I'm pretty sure that's <v Speaker 3>what I'm seeing, but so cool. They made a giant <v Speaker 3>virtual boy controller. <v Speaker 2>It's like if you took the display case at the <v Speaker 2>Nintendo store in Manhattan and you just multiplied it by ten. <v Speaker 2>It's just a bunch of those like back to back. <v Speaker 5>It is. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it does look pretty cool. <v Speaker 3>I wonder if all the buttons and the controllers and <v Speaker 3>the sticks work on those giant models, because, as we'll <v Speaker 3>see in a minute when they get to it, they <v Speaker 3>have made giant version. <v Speaker 2>That is the cool thing. <v Speaker 1>So I do wonder if there was actually Have you <v Speaker 1>not watched this Bengal No, oh, well. <v Speaker 5>I've only seen bits among the website. <v Speaker 3>Just wait till we get to the Nintendo prisons. Just wait, oh, <v Speaker 3>I tweeted about it. <v Speaker 1>Look at that giants and then the like the old <v Speaker 1>Ambassador D three ds back there too. Can you want <v Speaker 1>these giant controllers can be so bad? <v Speaker 2>Can we just turn the audio down to because if <v Speaker 2>it's just him speaking in Japanese, then I. <v Speaker 3>Can turn I'll turn off the audio. Then fine, that's good, <v Speaker 3>good point, good point. All right, let me let me <v Speaker 3>shuffle around a little bit. Then, so he talks a <v Speaker 3>little bit about the history of Nintendo, and we don't <v Speaker 3>need to go into all of that, but a lot <v Speaker 3>of us already obviously know all of that history. Anyway, <v Speaker 3>these shelves look a little empty. <v Speaker 2>Can we just real quick? I'm gonna I'm just gonna <v Speaker 2>just i mean, look at the shelves behind. <v Speaker 4>You, biscuits and hamshadow. <v Speaker 3>Uh yeah, no, look at I I am sat in <v Speaker 3>arguably a little bit more of a museum. <v Speaker 4>Just just just content wise. <v Speaker 2>The comments right, I'm telling you, right now, they're gonna <v Speaker 2>be like, where where are we at? Right now? Fourteen <v Speaker 2>thirty five would thinks that his collection is better than Nintendo's. <v Speaker 4>I'm kidding, I'm kidding. We saw a lot of that <v Speaker 4>when what was it? <v Speaker 3>We did something where we talked about physical games? Yeah, <v Speaker 3>and I was like, I'm the sixty percent you are. <v Speaker 3>People were meming on me for that too. <v Speaker 5>That was a joke. <v Speaker 2>I know, I'm not it is. It's fine. It's a joke. <v Speaker 5>Anyway. <v Speaker 3>These shows do be looking a little bear though, right, <v Speaker 3>I mean, there's more games I could put out there. <v Speaker 4>I'm not sure. <v Speaker 1>Maybe they spaced it out so they can have more. Well, <v Speaker 1>it's just it's all the games they published. It's every <v Speaker 1>game Day published, which is I don't know. Make the <v Speaker 1>shelves a little small, I don't know. <v Speaker 2>But the building is so big. <v Speaker 3>The building is huge. I don't want to I don't <v Speaker 3>want to critique it too much. It's just there's parts <v Speaker 3>of it I find goofy. I'm so excited to go. Sure, <v Speaker 3>let me stress. I want to go day one. I <v Speaker 3>don't think I am going to go day one, just because. <v Speaker 5>I think you need to reserve it. You, I think you. <v Speaker 3>Probably have to reserve it. But also I remember when <v Speaker 3>they opened Super Mario Land, it was just like it's <v Speaker 3>so crazy busy, like day one, Like if you even <v Speaker 3>wanted to go, you'd be waiting in insane lines, if <v Speaker 3>you even get to see anything. <v Speaker 2>Well, that's why they put in a warehouse, you know, <v Speaker 2>so they have more space. <v Speaker 4>I might give it a couple of weeks. But I'm <v Speaker 4>very excited to go. <v Speaker 1>So up top. <v Speaker 3>They also have videos of the games that games playing, <v Speaker 3>and they have directional speakers, which we can actually bring <v Speaker 3>that up. But as you walk through, you hear the <v Speaker 3>game you're looking at directionally. It's really interesting. <v Speaker 2>Oh that's so cool. <v Speaker 1>It's really cool. <v Speaker 2>The audio listeners who just if you're if you're just <v Speaker 2>listening over audio. That switch over an audio happened just <v Speaker 2>by him moving like two steps to the right. <v Speaker 4>It just moved the camera over and then the audio Changeah, <v Speaker 4>that's pretty cool. <v Speaker 5>That's really neat. <v Speaker 1>I mean it's it's a little it's a little gimmicky thing, <v Speaker 1>but it is really cool. <v Speaker 3>Just directional speakers. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it is really cool. <v Speaker 3>So that's the second floor. Oh there's also like a <v Speaker 3>display of all of their fitness equipment that they've ever made, <v Speaker 3>like the nes bike. I'm pretty sure it was for <v Speaker 3>the NES. <v Speaker 2>I don't even know they had it, anys bike. <v Speaker 3>The exercise bike. I forgot about it completely. There's a <v Speaker 3>sewing machine somewhere. Do you know about that? Is it <v Speaker 3>Super Nintendo or is it Game Boy? I think it's <v Speaker 3>a game Boy sewing machine. This wall looks pretty neat. <v Speaker 3>Looks like they also have those directional speakers, and it's <v Speaker 3>the evolution of all Mario games. And I think they <v Speaker 3>also had an evolution of Zelda one too. You see <v Speaker 3>how the graphics changed over time, Right, that's pretty dope. <v Speaker 3>It's really neat. Yeah, it's really cool. I wonder who, <v Speaker 3>I wonder who you have to be a Nintendo fan <v Speaker 3>to go to this museum, right, like no one else <v Speaker 3>is like wandering in. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean at the end of the day, like <v Speaker 2>it is all just Nintendo stuff. So if you if <v Speaker 2>you don't even care about, like, if you're not a gamer, <v Speaker 2>I don't know why you'd not why you'd want to go. <v Speaker 2>You know. <v Speaker 5>Do they mention that not everybody can experience everything? What <v Speaker 5>do you mean? <v Speaker 2>What do you mean by that mean? <v Speaker 1>I don't know if this is right, but it says <v Speaker 1>every every person who enters gets ten coins. The number <v Speaker 1>of coins required for each interactive exhibit will be announced <v Speaker 1>at a later date, and it varies depending on interactive exhibits. <v Speaker 2>So it's a carnival. <v Speaker 3>So well, yeah, we're going to get to that. But <v Speaker 3>they have made it like a big video game. And <v Speaker 3>he does mention you get coins. Yeah, but I wasn't <v Speaker 3>aware that you would you want? Given enough to do everything, <v Speaker 3>I don't think you buy more coins. Does that mean <v Speaker 3>that you don't have to pay admission to get. <v Speaker 4>In because it's an mum A museum is free, right, <v Speaker 4>not always right? <v Speaker 5>I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I know, No, there's admission. I think for there's admission <v Speaker 1>because you reserve tickets, and then you get what you <v Speaker 1>want to have to. <v Speaker 3>Reserve tickets for actual museums. Now yeah, right, but it's <v Speaker 3>still free. <v Speaker 2>Well it depends if it's if it's a publicly funded <v Speaker 2>museum that it's free. Company. <v Speaker 3>Sure you know what, You're right, You're right, and you're <v Speaker 3>so smart. So Nintendo started as a toy company, as <v Speaker 3>a lot of us know, And here are a ton <v Speaker 3>of their toys and old even old consoles that they have. <v Speaker 3>One of them I think is the one that he <v Speaker 3>gave me recently in a in an episode that he found. Um, <v Speaker 3>I'm trying to skip through this like more museum epart <v Speaker 3>to get to like the game, the video game part. <v Speaker 3>All right, So here we have the foyer. I think <v Speaker 3>it's the main floor. <v Speaker 1>Again. <v Speaker 2>I want to say, it's so much there's so much <v Speaker 2>like green and this color, like right where he's standing. <v Speaker 1>But then it's a rotunda of just gray bleakness. You know, <v Speaker 1>it's very bleak. It's very bleak, it's very it just <v Speaker 1>looks like corporate. <v Speaker 3>It looks like I did a tour of Nintendo HQ <v Speaker 3>in Seattle, ones and there's a lot of bright, colorful areas, <v Speaker 3>but most of it is very corporate and gray and <v Speaker 3>very clean. And that's exactly what this looks like. It <v Speaker 3>looks like all the corporate areas in Nintendo HQ, which <v Speaker 3>again is totally fine, and it doesn't have to be <v Speaker 3>a theme park as you walk in, and I mean, <v Speaker 3>they're not trying to recreate Super Super Nintendo World. <v Speaker 2>And it's let's let's let's be clear too. It's not <v Speaker 2>the the Glasgow Willy Wonka experience. Yeah, okay, no, Like <v Speaker 2>it's still populated, there's stuff going on in there. Good. <v Speaker 4>That's a good quarterback as well. <v Speaker 1>I mean, those columns are really nice. <v Speaker 3>But other than the yeah yeah, other than the led floor, <v Speaker 3>the columns are the only thing in that room that <v Speaker 3>look to be Nintendo themed at all. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, So biscuits pulled up here. It says it says <v Speaker 2>specifically that you will not have enough coins to see <v Speaker 2>all of them all. That's interesting. You get ten coins <v Speaker 2>that you that's not enough to see everything. They specifically <v Speaker 2>say that whoa Bryan on the website, So that's crazy. <v Speaker 2>So that means you have to probably spend more money <v Speaker 2>if you want to see either. <v Speaker 5>That or there. <v Speaker 1>Don't want every single piece of the exhibit to be packed. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>you can only experience certain things. I mean, if you <v Speaker 1>take a group, you could like group do everything, I guess, <v Speaker 1>but people would have to watch. I wonder if you <v Speaker 1>can buy a moll or if it's set there's I mean, <v Speaker 1>they do list price pricing for certain things, and it's <v Speaker 1>only two things that I see for now. So the <v Speaker 1>craft room in the playroom, it's two thousand yen for <v Speaker 1>a participation fee for the craft and then five hundred <v Speaker 1>yen in person for the player. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's not bad. <v Speaker 5>That's not bad. <v Speaker 3>So I didn't actually quite catch what the point of <v Speaker 3>this floor is when I was watching it. You stand <v Speaker 3>on top of the screen to play the traditional Japanese <v Speaker 3>cod game. Oh okay, so they're playing a card game <v Speaker 3>using their phones. <v Speaker 2>Well, because Nintendo started off in what the eighteen hundreds <v Speaker 2>does a playing card game? <v Speaker 1>Right? <v Speaker 4>Yeah? <v Speaker 3>Yeah, that's that is actually interesting for these listening and <v Speaker 3>not watching. So there's a bunch of people walking around <v Speaker 3>this floor with a phone and it's almost doing like <v Speaker 3>an ar camera reader and they're clicking on these things <v Speaker 3>on the floor using their phone screen and they're interacting <v Speaker 3>with them. So that is actually really unique. I love <v Speaker 3>stuff like that, this innovative, like new way of coding <v Speaker 3>something that's so specifically for this one instance, right, like <v Speaker 3>somebody designed this floor game just for this Nintendo museum. <v Speaker 2>They did very Nintendo of them to do that. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, I do find that interesting. <v Speaker 3>I think. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, he's talking about and that. By the way, they're <v Speaker 1>also digital coins that you get. <v Speaker 5>Okay, they're not even a real coin. That's disappointing. <v Speaker 3>You know how much cool they would have been if <v Speaker 3>they were like old Chuck e cheese gold coins. <v Speaker 1>But if the museum entry is free, people will just <v Speaker 1>get the coins. Like, oh dude, I'd pay for it, though, Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I would pay for those. I would definitely. <v Speaker 5>I mean for sure they're gonna have a gift shop <v Speaker 5>in Mercedise. <v Speaker 4>Oh man. <v Speaker 3>Like, imagine twenty thirty years from now, you tell people <v Speaker 3>that you went to the Nintended Music like first Week, <v Speaker 3>and you have like a commemorative coin like the old <v Speaker 3>token that say like twenty twenty four on it. <v Speaker 1>Right, do they mention if this is going to be <v Speaker 1>a permanent thing or if this is actually they're going <v Speaker 1>to demolish the building. No, it's a pop up. It's <v Speaker 1>a they built a building bingle. Oh they built a <v Speaker 1>building a museum. Yeah, oh, okay, did you know it's <v Speaker 1>still He's right, it has pop ups. <v Speaker 2>Pop up. <v Speaker 4>Why you asking the question is valid because it looks <v Speaker 4>like a pop. <v Speaker 2>Up, looks like a pop up. It looks like it <v Speaker 2>looks like it looks like the Javit Center. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, it does. <v Speaker 3>It's like Comic Con and they just added a bunch <v Speaker 3>of shit people. I feel like people are going to <v Speaker 3>think we're being too hard. I can't explain to you <v Speaker 3>how excited I am to go. It's just this what <v Speaker 3>they built this. There was there was cement, there was <v Speaker 3>a floor, They built a building. They built their own building, <v Speaker 3>and ninety percent of it is gray and it looks <v Speaker 3>like corporate is what I expected. <v Speaker 2>I wish it was smaller, more exclusive, and thus, because <v Speaker 2>it's smaller, it would have it would be more of <v Speaker 2>it would look that it was the one. <v Speaker 1>Shot at the start here where like all of that <v Speaker 1>that looks like a Mister Beast video where he like <v Speaker 1>rented out some hole and he's like, I've got a <v Speaker 1>thousand dogs in kennels and I'm going to be giving <v Speaker 1>them all away. <v Speaker 4>This looks like the room that he uses for. <v Speaker 2>That it looks like you're walking into like twitch Con. <v Speaker 3>Yes, yeah, like it looks like they're gonna tear all <v Speaker 3>this down for the weekend so that comic Con can happen. <v Speaker 1>A true all right. <v Speaker 3>Next, we have the Nintendo prisons that I was talking about. <v Speaker 3>So when I first saw this, I was like, am <v Speaker 3>I am I gonna go get locked up for a <v Speaker 3>weekend because it looks like a little bedroom in there. <v Speaker 5>I'm sorry, I never meant to play those rom haacks. <v Speaker 3>I never meant to do the rom haacks. Nintendo, please <v Speaker 3>please don't lock me in there. <v Speaker 2>Put Bob in there for years. <v Speaker 1>That's very funny. <v Speaker 3>So this is they're saying, it's like a also batting <v Speaker 3>ca they're batting cages essentially. <v Speaker 1>I could we'll get to that. Batting cages in general <v Speaker 1>are very popular in Japan. I mean obviously popular everywhere, <v Speaker 1>but it's very much a Japanese cultural thing. You played Persona, <v Speaker 1>you played Yakuza, you know about it. And this is <v Speaker 1>apparently he's saying a call back to one of their <v Speaker 1>original toys, which was a batting toy, which you can <v Speaker 1>see on. <v Speaker 4>The screen here if you see it. <v Speaker 1>But it was a little shout out balls, and you <v Speaker 1>would hit him. <v Speaker 2>For when your dad's busy going against. <v Speaker 3>When your dad doesn't love you. And here it is. <v Speaker 3>Here's the room I guess that you go in. I'm <v Speaker 3>not really sure how it. <v Speaker 1>How is a batting cage, though, I think it's meant <v Speaker 1>to like replicate what like you're saying. <v Speaker 4>You're saying, well, he's going to give it a try. <v Speaker 4>Here he goes. <v Speaker 2>It's meant to look. <v Speaker 1>Likeating an old living room, like an old nineties or <v Speaker 1>eighties living room where you would play one of these. <v Speaker 3>That's so interesting, it looks that's so cool. That's like <v Speaker 3>a whole podcast set right there. Oh and oh, and <v Speaker 3>you aim to like knock the so I was not <v Speaker 3>paying attention for you. <v Speaker 2>Here. <v Speaker 4>I guess you aim to knock the things off the <v Speaker 4>shelf too. <v Speaker 2>So it's kind of encouraging you to play ball in <v Speaker 2>the house like you were never allowed to when you <v Speaker 2>were a kid. <v Speaker 1>That's actually really cute. <v Speaker 2>It says here. Ultramachine sp It's act reproduction of the <v Speaker 2>original Ultramachine, a pitching machine made for indoor use, released <v Speaker 2>in nineteen sixty eight. Use the bat to hit the <v Speaker 2>balls pitched one after another, including fastballs, and curveballs. You <v Speaker 2>know what. <v Speaker 3>I love that they dived back in. This is an <v Speaker 3>Nintendo museum, after all, and when you think of that, <v Speaker 3>you think of their video games, because that's what we <v Speaker 3>come up with. But I love that they dive back <v Speaker 3>to this old sixties toy and built a whole section <v Speaker 3>of this warehouse that they put up right, this corporate <v Speaker 3>warehouse to make it into old eighties. Well I guess <v Speaker 3>was it even eighties? I mean it could be sixties. <v Speaker 2>Really it was sixties sixty seven CE. <v Speaker 4>I mean, I'm just judging by the fact there a year. <v Speaker 3>There's a fact printer in this one specifically, so this <v Speaker 3>has to be at least the eighties, right. <v Speaker 1>Also like it they want you to hit the stuff <v Speaker 1>in here, It says it on the page. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I love I actually love this. This is so unique. <v Speaker 4>And just fun. <v Speaker 1>I kind of wish the stuff broke, but it looks. <v Speaker 4>Like it just. <v Speaker 5>Uh. <v Speaker 1>You ever go to one of those, oh. <v Speaker 3>I don't know where you find them where you like <v Speaker 3>get like a gun and you shoot like a like <v Speaker 3>little lights around a set and they like squat water <v Speaker 3>at you and things fall over and what are they called. <v Speaker 2>Them talking about? Like a ride? Or like, no, you. <v Speaker 4>Like stand in front of like a I. <v Speaker 3>Don't shooting gallery, A shooting gallery. Yeah, yeah, it's like that, <v Speaker 3>but I'm on American. I don't know these things. <v Speaker 2>I like it. I'm with it. You're right, And. <v Speaker 1>Then this is so creative. So, oh, what is this <v Speaker 1>in the nineteen seventies? <v Speaker 3>I want to read this, actually, I want to see <v Speaker 3>what they're what they're replicating here in the nineteen seventies <v Speaker 3>and Tendo renovated bowling alleys and turn them into laser <v Speaker 3>lay commercial shooting galleries. <v Speaker 1>Oh, we made. <v Speaker 3>The Zappa and Scope sp so you could experience laser <v Speaker 3>clay with modern technology. Yeah, so they've repurposed these old <v Speaker 3>ne s blasters and super scopes. Up to thirteen people <v Speaker 3>can line up at a shooting This is an actual <v Speaker 3>shooting gallery. <v Speaker 5>That's awesome. <v Speaker 3>And they have all different kinds of games that they <v Speaker 3>display here. So here's one where they're shooting gombas. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>it's actually really cool, and there Marios and stuff will <v Speaker 3>pop up. <v Speaker 1>You have to avoid Mario and Peach and. <v Speaker 2>That's going to be a dope minute of gameplay after <v Speaker 2>waiting in line for two hours. <v Speaker 4>Dude, the best minute of gameplay. <v Speaker 3>I just want to listen to him play yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 3>because he just seems so happy. <v Speaker 2>So he's he's holding the original like duck Hunt light gun, <v Speaker 2>which they've repurposed for this. <v Speaker 3>Okay, I'm sorry, but can you imagine being this man? No, <v Speaker 3>go back to the Japanese in the nineties, when he <v Speaker 3>was helping or single handedly. I don't know how much <v Speaker 3>input did he have on the first Mario. I think <v Speaker 3>he just designed the first Mario, right, I tell you <v Speaker 3>when he was designing the original Mario games and working <v Speaker 3>with Nintendo when they just started making video games, to <v Speaker 3>now be standing in twenty twenty four, forty five years later, <v Speaker 3>forty years later something like that, I guess forty maybe <v Speaker 3>in a building that was built to honor some of <v Speaker 3>the games that he had worked on when he was younger, <v Speaker 3>shooting the characters with a light gun on a giant screen. <v Speaker 1>That he helped code. That's crazy, pretty sick. <v Speaker 5>Do you know how valuable he is to the company? <v Speaker 4>I know how valuable he is. They won't allow him <v Speaker 4>to write a bike I know. I was going to <v Speaker 4>tell you that story. <v Speaker 3>He's not allowed to ride a bike to work in <v Speaker 3>case he gets hit or has to be driven. <v Speaker 2>That's wild. <v Speaker 4>I know, I do love him. <v Speaker 2>Here's me and Moto, very wholesome. <v Speaker 3>He seems to be having a lot of fun. There <v Speaker 3>were some other mini games here they were playing. <v Speaker 5>Oh. <v Speaker 4>I like the way that it tallied his score with <v Speaker 4>all of them popping up like that. <v Speaker 2>Sick. <v Speaker 1>Oh. <v Speaker 4>They gave him a gold zapper because he did good. <v Speaker 4>That's so cool. <v Speaker 2>Nice. <v Speaker 1>Oh, here we go, baby giants. <v Speaker 3>Nintendo controllers. They have a giant Famicom controller that takes <v Speaker 3>two people to play it. I tagged Bob in this <v Speaker 3>and asked him if you'd be my dpad so you <v Speaker 3>can play games like Mario Brothers. The original Mario Brothers. <v Speaker 3>One person controls the dpad and the other one controls <v Speaker 3>the buttons. This is the one that they showed an <v Speaker 3>example of in real time. You have Meamoto on the <v Speaker 3>left and then one of his crew on the right <v Speaker 3>here pressing the buttons. I mean, I can't wait to <v Speaker 3>try this. This is so cool. <v Speaker 4>But then further, as he's talking about it, uh, you <v Speaker 4>see in the. <v Speaker 2>Background so funny people holding the Wii moat with this. <v Speaker 1>It looks so heavy. <v Speaker 2>Oh my god, it's nuts. <v Speaker 3>Two people holding this giant we mote. Then there's someone <v Speaker 3>else on the left to holding a wet upright and <v Speaker 3>doing it on our own. <v Speaker 2>Have you have you ever seen the movie Spaceballs? Yeah? Yeah, <v Speaker 2>it reminds me. It gives it gave me comb the <v Speaker 2>desert energy. <v Speaker 5>It is anything. <v Speaker 4>Yet so good. Ah. <v Speaker 3>And then on the right we have giant superintend and <v Speaker 3>controllers too. And then right behind me a motor was <v Speaker 3>a giant sixty four. <v Speaker 2>Control sixty four. That's gonna take three people. <v Speaker 3>It's gonna take a lot of people because you don't <v Speaker 3>need stick control, dpad and buttons. <v Speaker 2>Who's gonna be kicking the z box one. <v Speaker 4>In pilot Wings flying with that wei moat? <v Speaker 2>That's pretty cool. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, that is so hecking cool. <v Speaker 2>What's going on in the first screen on the left there. <v Speaker 4>Uh Mario partty No, some kind of potty game. <v Speaker 2>It's a wei moat and they're they're kind of tilting <v Speaker 2>and left and right. <v Speaker 3>So it looks like in that in that last part <v Speaker 3>there they were stacking eye ice cream. Yeah, and then <v Speaker 3>I think after that it's mostly just showing more of <v Speaker 3>the history of Nintendo and other shots. This shot here <v Speaker 3>looks ex this shot he looks unfinished. Dude, that dude, <v Speaker 3>why is it so great? Masonry wall back then? <v Speaker 1>I don't know. <v Speaker 3>I will say this is the one thing I don't know. <v Speaker 3>It looks so corporate. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, even like yeah, obviously there's the unfinished bit on <v Speaker 2>the left side, but just even like the registers here, <v Speaker 2>like it's just it's so great. <v Speaker 3>I guess what they're going for is this is a museum, <v Speaker 3>so they're going for a very like upscale, very muted, muted, like. <v Speaker 2>Void. <v Speaker 4>I feel like museums. <v Speaker 5>It looks like a brain age theme almost does. <v Speaker 3>I feel like museums all have a very bland look <v Speaker 3>so that the art that's in it shines right right, <v Speaker 3>because you don't want to overpower the actual art that's play. <v Speaker 3>And I think that's what they're going for here. And <v Speaker 3>I'm sure when we're there, I'm sure it'll work a <v Speaker 3>lot better and it'll be very overwhelming and we'll look <v Speaker 3>up at the giant warehouse and we'll be like, holy crap, <v Speaker 3>this place is huge. I think it's just a little funny, <v Speaker 3>a little funny and a little stark in contrast to <v Speaker 3>what we're used to from Nintendo and seeing these pops <v Speaker 3>of color and Nintendo gaming type things surrounded by a <v Speaker 3>deep black void of warehouse is there's something about it <v Speaker 3>that's really bizarre, and it's just not the way we're <v Speaker 3>used to seeing Nintendo. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think, to be fair, though, I think if <v Speaker 2>we were inundated with red all around us, it would <v Speaker 2>also be a headache. <v Speaker 3>You know, Like maybe, but I actually honestly imagine this <v Speaker 3>whole ceiling is painted red. <v Speaker 1>Kind of sick, kind of. <v Speaker 2>Fire a little bit. <v Speaker 3>Maybe, yeah, you know, maybe some So what I would <v Speaker 3>picture here is maybe the ceiling is painted like red <v Speaker 3>and white, or maybe it's red, and then there's like <v Speaker 3>silhouettes of Nintendo characters hiding up there, like hidden Mickey's <v Speaker 3>as like white white silhourettes of mushrooms and triforces and <v Speaker 3>you know, something like that, just to add like a <v Speaker 3>pop of color. Maybe like the the banisters here rather <v Speaker 3>than being like chrome, they're red, like red banisters going <v Speaker 3>across Like stuff like that would just help pop it <v Speaker 3>and make it feel more like Nintendo. This we keep <v Speaker 3>going on about it, but yeah, it feels like Nintendo <v Speaker 3>has just put up a pop. <v Speaker 2>Up a little bit. I mean, maybe it'll maybe it'll you. <v Speaker 1>Know, maybe it'll all come together when I'm standing there. <v Speaker 2>But I'm saying like over time, like it's it's it's <v Speaker 2>their own building. <v Speaker 5>It is new, you know, yeah, it's new. <v Speaker 2>Maybe they'll improve it over time. <v Speaker 1>It is also maybe they lost it somewhat plain, so <v Speaker 1>they could theme it however they want to, depending on <v Speaker 1>the season, especially in brand new. <v Speaker 4>It's not even open, guys, can you come down? <v Speaker 5>Okay? <v Speaker 4>I'm so sorry, it's not even open. You haven't been <v Speaker 4>for one. <v Speaker 2>You're the one who said that you have a better <v Speaker 2>museum than Nintendo. Does. <v Speaker 5>I mean, I am looking at an awesome GameCube right now. <v Speaker 3>I'm sure that's there, to be fair, the Panasonic queue, <v Speaker 3>Sure they have it there. And then they have a <v Speaker 3>cafe here which looks like a school cafeteria. <v Speaker 2>It kind of does. But maybe that's kind of what <v Speaker 2>they're going for though, right, is that this is something <v Speaker 2>from like everything that you're experiencing here has some element <v Speaker 2>of nostalgia to it, right, that's why you're coming to visit, <v Speaker 2>So maybe they're trying to make you feel like a <v Speaker 2>kid again. You know, Sure that's true. <v Speaker 3>You know what this could this could be a throwback <v Speaker 3>sixties cafeteria. I mean, the ball, the light fixtures would <v Speaker 3>indicate I saw, I tweeted it and I can pull <v Speaker 3>it up in a second. <v Speaker 1>But there's a stained glass Zelda mural in the middle <v Speaker 1>of this cafe. <v Speaker 3>So that's definitely where you can pick what goes on <v Speaker 3>your hamburger to make it your own. <v Speaker 4>He says about this cafe. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think that museums in general, like a museum <v Speaker 2>is good if it invokes some kind of like feeling <v Speaker 2>an emotional response from you, right, yes, So like they're <v Speaker 2>they're treating everything that they've done as the art that <v Speaker 2>it is, yes, right, so they're trying to kind of <v Speaker 2>pull your focus from everything else and just give you <v Speaker 2>this like experience. <v Speaker 3>I think so. So everything they've done inside this warehouse <v Speaker 3>is perfect. The fact that they've made it a video <v Speaker 3>game that you can interact and play with most of it. <v Speaker 3>The actual museum part is obviously these giant shelves filled <v Speaker 3>with all the games they've published, which is exactly what <v Speaker 3>it needs to be, and toys that they've published. I <v Speaker 3>think they've nailed what the museum should be. It just <v Speaker 3>looks a bit, It. <v Speaker 1>Looks a big movie, just the stuff around the stuff, <v Speaker 1>stuff around this stuff. But again they're probably going for <v Speaker 1>something here. So it opens October second, and then the <v Speaker 1>final little shot here. <v Speaker 3>This actually is awesome. There's these singing toads that he <v Speaker 3>touches and they start singing. <v Speaker 4>That's perfect. <v Speaker 2>Wait can you play that? <v Speaker 4>I can't. <v Speaker 2>Absolutely it sounds. <v Speaker 5>Like museum with. <v Speaker 1>You. <v Speaker 3>Very nice, kind of perfect, kind of kind of fantastic <v Speaker 3>cut away for a second. I want to bring up <v Speaker 3>that Zelda thing, but I'm interested in what Chat thinks <v Speaker 3>you need to turn he keeps doing it. <v Speaker 2>Sorry, Umm, yeah. <v Speaker 3>I'm curious as to what Chat thinks about the museum, <v Speaker 3>and I'll take on the museum. <v Speaker 4>I was actually looking at Chat at all during that. <v Speaker 1>What was Chat saying about the museum? <v Speaker 2>I mean I was looking at the museum. <v Speaker 1>So I love the GameCube. I love that GameCube. I <v Speaker 1>love that GameCube too. <v Speaker 3>I think the muted setting makes sense for a museum <v Speaker 3>for exactly the reason that you said it lets the <v Speaker 3>actual object shine. Yeah, one hundred percent. <v Speaker 2>Right right right? <v Speaker 4>Oh, so true, so true and wise? <v Speaker 2>Chat is yeah, not definitely not losers. <v Speaker 1>I got the prices for admission. Oh oh hit me <v Speaker 1>adults is thirty three hundred yen. <v Speaker 4>That's not bad thirty three hundred. That's about thirty bucks. <v Speaker 5>Teens are twenty two hundred. <v Speaker 4>Okay, so about twenty bucks. <v Speaker 1>Child is eleven hundred. It's eleven bucks and uh ages <v Speaker 1>zero to five is free pretty much. <v Speaker 4>I could pass for a fivey. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, totally. <v Speaker 3>Okay, and then you get ten coins with that. You <v Speaker 3>get ten coins and there's nothing on there about buying <v Speaker 3>more coins. <v Speaker 5>They have no mention. <v Speaker 1>They said they will release more details about it later. <v Speaker 2>Do the do the children that the zero to five <v Speaker 2>people children get do they get coins too? <v Speaker 5>Be stealing our kids coin? <v Speaker 2>Just bring a bunch of kids. <v Speaker 3>I would be more okay with that they gave you <v Speaker 3>just enough coins for one of everything, because it would <v Speaker 3>stop people from like doubling back and repeating things. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that would make sense. <v Speaker 3>But to not give you enough for everything is like <v Speaker 3>I'm paying to go. <v Speaker 5>Yeah, I mean like we'll be interactive exhibits. <v Speaker 2>Sure, we'll be fair and say that. Like there are <v Speaker 2>museums that you go to where there's extra stuff to <v Speaker 2>do in the museum that you have to pay extra <v Speaker 2>money for. That's normal. <v Speaker 3>I would pay more to do everything. Yeah, there should <v Speaker 3>be some package, like a fifty dollar package you can <v Speaker 3>do everything. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, yeah, you can cut to me. <v Speaker 5>Now. <v Speaker 4>I found the stained glass. <v Speaker 5>It's sick. <v Speaker 4>Warrior sixty four tweeted it out. <v Speaker 1>I don't know where they got it from, but yeah, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I know, right. Is this a restaurant, Yeah, this is <v Speaker 1>part of the cafe, so it's pretty dope. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, it looks like it looks exactly like how. <v Speaker 3>The Dennis look over there, Dennis. Yeah, that's exactly what <v Speaker 3>the Denny's seating. Let me cut away. I'm gonna google <v Speaker 3>Japanese Denny's. <v Speaker 2>What I will say about that is it it's sick. <v Speaker 2>The stained glass in and of itself sick, But I <v Speaker 2>feel like it's a little out of place, you know, <v Speaker 2>like it's just sitting in the cafeteria. I thought maybe <v Speaker 2>there'd be like a whole big window of the museum <v Speaker 2>that was going to be stained glass when you mentioned it. <v Speaker 2>But anyways, I don't know. <v Speaker 4>It is what it is, bro It is what it is, <v Speaker 4>and it's not what it's not. <v Speaker 2>It's not They don't think it'd be like it is, <v Speaker 2>but it do. <v Speaker 1>Sometimes it do be and other times it won't be. <v Speaker 1>But it will always be. <v Speaker 2>It will one hundred percent of the time it will be. <v Speaker 3>I'm trying to make this bigger so I can show <v Speaker 3>you guys, but every time I zoom in on it, <v Speaker 3>it's like freaking out. <v Speaker 2>Mmmm. We got a super chat from me. Dragon Heart <v Speaker 2>six one three said, you think they'll do a US <v Speaker 2>location in New York or LA. <v Speaker 1>Probably not for the museum now, I doubt it. <v Speaker 4>I'm curious to know. <v Speaker 3>If the uh, the Gulf War game boy is going <v Speaker 3>to be there, because they took it off display and he. <v Speaker 2>Had oh it must it must be yeah, yeah, the <v Speaker 2>game boy that survived the Gulf War and still works. <v Speaker 3>All right, you can bring this up now. So this <v Speaker 3>this here, I said, this looks like a Denny's. That's <v Speaker 3>what Denny's looks. <v Speaker 5>Like in Japan. <v Speaker 1>It's very come on, it's got the same vibes. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. As an No, the Denny's is meant <v Speaker 2>to look like a fifties kind of diner sort of deal, <v Speaker 2>you know. <v Speaker 3>But so is this because oops, sorry, because that going <v Speaker 3>back to like sixties and everything, right, that's like the <v Speaker 3>whole vibe the museum. <v Speaker 2>I guess. But to me, that just kind of looks <v Speaker 2>more like this looks like this looks like the back <v Speaker 2>room at like a fancy restaurant. <v Speaker 1>You know, I'm not saying it looks bad. <v Speaker 3>I just saw it and I was like, that looks <v Speaker 3>like the Denny's that I've been to in Japan. All right, <v Speaker 3>Well if that's what you feel, all right, So that's <v Speaker 3>the museum. <v Speaker 2>That's the museum. <v Speaker 3>I'm looking forward to going. I don't know when I'm <v Speaker 3>going to go. I wasn't planning to go to Japan <v Speaker 3>again this year, but uh. <v Speaker 2>Might have to. That's kind of a it's it's a <v Speaker 2>big development, you know, for sure. <v Speaker 1>It is. <v Speaker 3>We also, as we left Japan last time, they opened <v Speaker 3>Nintendo Kyoto store, right which you can like buy I know. <v Speaker 3>Their whole thing was you can buy switches and you <v Speaker 3>can pick what color Joyclones you want and do whatever <v Speaker 3>you want. But in general, they opened a new Nintendo <v Speaker 3>store that we haven't seen. And that's also where this <v Speaker 3>museum is. They're both in Kyoto, okay, so it would <v Speaker 3>be worth a trip. We also only got to spend <v Speaker 3>a few days, like two days one day really in <v Speaker 3>Kyoto last time, and we wanted to spend more. So <v Speaker 3>it's definitely tempting. I'll say this too about Nintendo stores. <v Speaker 3>Looking at this museum, and it makes me appreciate the <v Speaker 3>Nintendo New York Store even more because out of every <v Speaker 3>Nintendo store we went to in Japan, they were very <v Speaker 3>much places to buy Nintendo merch which is a store <v Speaker 3>that's what you think it should be. But the New <v Speaker 3>York Store has always had a little section of like <v Speaker 3>a tiny museum where they've showedcased all the old consoles <v Speaker 3>and they've had every amoebo out on display, stuff like. <v Speaker 2>That, every handheld up there. <v Speaker 1>They have the puppets on display at the New York <v Speaker 1>Store from the old Nintendo Direct where they all came <v Speaker 1>out as puppets, mea Moto puppet, and the Reggie Puppet. <v Speaker 2>That's pretty cool. <v Speaker 3>They had those on display, which is kind of like <v Speaker 3>a little mini Nintendo museum right here. <v Speaker 4>It in America and New York, so that makes it fun. <v Speaker 2>They make it fun there. They got that big interactive wall, <v Speaker 2>all that stuff. <v Speaker 3>Guys, I'm going to do a poll since we're live. <v Speaker 3>I just want to know what do I want to know? <v Speaker 3>Should I ask if if it looks too corporate or <v Speaker 3>if it's perfect? <v Speaker 1>Do you agree it looks too corporate? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's a good ball. I like that. <v Speaker 5>Do you agree. <v Speaker 2>I think I think I personally think that it's it's <v Speaker 2>giving big Jacob Javits Center energy. It looks like a convention, <v Speaker 2>like a population. Yeah, does look like a pop up? <v Speaker 2>You know, because I think I think so all like. <v Speaker 5>A pop up? Yes, no. <v Speaker 3>Again, it really doesn't matter. Like I'm gonna love it <v Speaker 3>and it's going to be so coolly the way. It's <v Speaker 3>just a funny observation. <v Speaker 1>I mean, I'm here. <v Speaker 3>I feel like I'm hedging this because I feel like <v Speaker 3>people are just gonna get upset. I mean, no matter <v Speaker 3>what I right, but I'm here to give my honest <v Speaker 3>opinions and to react to things. And I think it <v Speaker 3>looks awesome and I can't wait to go. I'll pay <v Speaker 3>however much it is. It looks sick and they did <v Speaker 3>exactly what I wanted them to do. Just looks a <v Speaker 3>bit silly, just to me, just to me visually. All Right, <v Speaker 3>while that poll is running, we have a couple of <v Speaker 3>little fun things that we can take a look at, <v Speaker 3>and then there is the whole of games com. <v Speaker 4>But if I can be honest, not really. <v Speaker 5>Interested anything good. <v Speaker 1>I don't know. <v Speaker 3>I haven't seen it, As I said, I was a <v Speaker 3>cheesecake factory. And then I looked at Twitter to see <v Speaker 3>what people are saying, and literally everyone I follow was <v Speaker 3>just saying it was boring and spamming zas And then <v Speaker 3>I know RGT made a video about how he's done <v Speaker 3>watching games Com because it's just. <v Speaker 5>Her favorite person, Jeff Keelly. <v Speaker 4>It was his show. <v Speaker 5>It was his show. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, people were saying that he shouldn't stop doing two <v Speaker 3>shows a year because it's he didn't have anything to <v Speaker 3>show last time at what was it, Summer game Fest. <v Speaker 3>It was like Indie game Fest, which was fine, but <v Speaker 3>he didn't really have anything the show. And now he's <v Speaker 3>already doing another show and I guess had nothing else <v Speaker 3>to show. <v Speaker 4>I saw. <v Speaker 1>The only things I saw that came out of that <v Speaker 1>event that pinged on my Twitter was Borderlands four. <v Speaker 4>That was it? <v Speaker 3>No Borderlands four and Genshen was coming to Xbox I saw, <v Speaker 3>which my reaction to that, I tweeted my reaction to that. <v Speaker 3>But I guess the Genschen Impact port for Switch is dead? <v Speaker 2>Right? <v Speaker 5>Was it even going to be a thing? <v Speaker 2>Can I? <v Speaker 3>Because when Genshen was announced, it was announced as a <v Speaker 3>switch came really yes, the first it's perfect on this switch. <v Speaker 3>I know was it was inspired by Breath of the Wild. <v Speaker 3>I mean, the developers themselves said that they were inspired <v Speaker 3>by Breath of the Wild. It's clear if you look <v Speaker 3>at the game, like visually, in so many of its <v Speaker 3>elements like very inspired by that. And it was first <v Speaker 3>revealed as an tender trailer it said come in a switch, <v Speaker 3>and then it came out in PC, and then I <v Speaker 3>think it came out in PlayStation and now it's coming <v Speaker 3>out on Xbox. But ever since they revealed it for <v Speaker 3>switch all those years ago, before the game came out, <v Speaker 3>they have not mentioned the switchboard again. <v Speaker 5>I wonder if it's a licensing issue, like with in <v Speaker 5>game purchases. <v Speaker 2>I don't know. <v Speaker 4>I don't know what it would be. <v Speaker 5>People. <v Speaker 3>Some people have said it's because the switch can't handle it. <v Speaker 3>But it's on mobile, it's on phones. <v Speaker 1>It can handle it. It can absolutely handle it can <v Speaker 1>handle it. I think it's that's a crazy thing to <v Speaker 1>end take a cut when it comes to like in <v Speaker 1>game purchases. <v Speaker 4>Well yeah, but so do you think Apple doesn't. <v Speaker 1>Know every every company does it? But is there like <v Speaker 1>some maybe the charge it a little bit more. <v Speaker 2>I mean, I'll tell you, I'll tell you. <v Speaker 5>That that's true. Apple charges in armenal A. <v Speaker 2>The the the thing that I was hearing the most. <v Speaker 2>One gens first came out was people were calling it <v Speaker 2>Web of the Wild, and maybe just Nintendo didn't like <v Speaker 2>the fact that the game was too. <v Speaker 3>No restrictions anymore about anything. <v Speaker 4>We've talked about the hen tie. <v Speaker 5>They had Immortal Phoenix Rising, and that game is like. <v Speaker 1>Yes, that is literally way that is Breath of the Web. <v Speaker 2>Yeahs using all the same fonts as Breath of the <v Speaker 2>World too. Yeah, like it's look it looks very. <v Speaker 3>So does But to his point, Phoenix Rising is literally <v Speaker 3>a copp And copy. It is the Cloniut clone, right, <v Speaker 3>and that was made by Ubisoft. <v Speaker 5>I have fun with it. It was good. I liked it. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>Well, I mean Borderlands four though, you know what Lands <v Speaker 2>four pretty sick. I mean we can how about. <v Speaker 3>Rather than me pulling up the whole video, we bring <v Speaker 3>up announcement like an article of announcements. <v Speaker 2>We can just do that. Yeah, you know what. Also <v Speaker 2>it was was was the the the Borderlands movie supposed <v Speaker 2>to hype us up for Borderlands four too, like. <v Speaker 1>Zeros at the timing. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, no, it has it's got like four stars out <v Speaker 2>of ten or like four out of ten on IMDb, <v Speaker 2>like eight percent on Rotten Tomatoes or something that was <v Speaker 2>like one of the worst movie this year. <v Speaker 3>But you know what, you're right because it was. I mean, <v Speaker 3>they're announcing Borderlands for what two weeks after the movie released. Yeah, <v Speaker 3>they would have to have been hoping that that movie <v Speaker 3>was gonna dry, like when THEO they did fall Out <v Speaker 3>and then they made all the Fallout games super cheap <v Speaker 3>and then it blew up. <v Speaker 5>The smart movie move. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Sorry, we didn't need border Lens. A Borderlands movie, <v Speaker 2>no thing. <v Speaker 3>We don't need a lot of I mean we don't <v Speaker 3>need it. I mean, technically, we didn't need a Last <v Speaker 3>of Us adaptation. It's just if you're going to do it, <v Speaker 3>do it good. I think I don't know. <v Speaker 1>I think Borderlands would have fit more as an animation <v Speaker 1>more than a short live action. <v Speaker 2>But you know what the thing? The thing is for me, <v Speaker 2>it's like when I think about like the things that <v Speaker 2>deserve movies, or like they're the games that or like <v Speaker 2>when we're talking about games that become movies, right, they're <v Speaker 2>the games that like are the most influential. And border <v Speaker 2>Lens was cool, but was it like super influential. I <v Speaker 2>don't think so. <v Speaker 3>But no, but Borderlands is a really fun ip. You know, <v Speaker 3>it's cool, wacky. It translates to a movie well, which <v Speaker 3>would yeah? <v Speaker 2>Should I don't think it translates well to a movie <v Speaker 2>with Kevin Hart, And. <v Speaker 4>No, no, they botched everything about it. <v Speaker 1>I think it would fit well as like a Netflix thing. <v Speaker 1>As an animation, it would have did really well. <v Speaker 2>That would have been great. That would have been sick. <v Speaker 2>It probably would have hype people up for the next <v Speaker 2>game too, but they wanted to shoot out a movie <v Speaker 2>with Kevin Hart. <v Speaker 3>Can I say that the poll is sixty two percent <v Speaker 3>of people think yes, it looks too corporate or like <v Speaker 3>a pop up. That is a majority of people, I <v Speaker 3>feel vindicating. <v Speaker 2>That's good. <v Speaker 1>I do think it'll change with time, but as of now, <v Speaker 1>it does look like a pop up. <v Speaker 3>I'll say that that is very close to fifty to <v Speaker 3>fifty though, so if you feel the other way it, <v Speaker 3>you'll completely valid as well. Yeah, And here's the thingcause <v Speaker 3>the thing though, art is subjective, and this is literally <v Speaker 3>a giant art piece. So I can think it looks <v Speaker 3>one way and you can think it looks another way. <v Speaker 3>And I don't have to be canceled for it. <v Speaker 1>I still think like within the five years of as <v Speaker 1>this thing goes on, it's going to look very different <v Speaker 1>from what it does now. <v Speaker 4>I don't know if it will. <v Speaker 5>You don't think so what a goo? <v Speaker 3>Do paint the banisters? Like I said, paint the ceiling. <v Speaker 3>I don't think they will. <v Speaker 1>Watch, you know what, I wouldn't be surprised if because <v Speaker 1>the museum is going to be open all year around <v Speaker 1>besides New Year's right, because that's what it says on <v Speaker 1>the website. <v Speaker 4>Must you want to bet it looks completely the same <v Speaker 4>in five years? <v Speaker 5>You don't think they're gonna do some Christmas things or like. <v Speaker 1>Holly mistletoe to kiss me and Moto on Christmas Eve? <v Speaker 2>Yeah? <v Speaker 1>Sure, like painting the building. <v Speaker 3>Here we go, games, calm everything announced at the very <v Speaker 3>top bortto Lands four. <v Speaker 2>So to switch to you, well that would be good. <v Speaker 4>You don't have to. I can just describe what I'm saying. <v Speaker 2>Don't we play that voicemail? Fire you again? <v Speaker 4>Borderlands for reveal trailer? Do you do you even want <v Speaker 4>to watch it? <v Speaker 1>I saw it. <v Speaker 3>It's literally it's a it's a planet. If I hit play, <v Speaker 3>it's going to play an ad. I know it is, <v Speaker 3>Oh for sure, it's a it's a big planet and <v Speaker 3>it's all on fire. And then you don't know what <v Speaker 3>it is for a whole minute and twenty seconds, and <v Speaker 3>then someone picks this thing up, turns it around. It's <v Speaker 3>a Borderlands mask. The only question people are really asking <v Speaker 3>is what's with the planet? Are we going into the galaxy? <v Speaker 2>Is it a live action trailer? <v Speaker 4>No, I don't know. Nope. Who cares? <v Speaker 3>The Humble Summer Spectacular Sail is here? That's the second <v Speaker 3>thing on here. Ninety percent off of a lot of <v Speaker 3>games like Allan, like two Dead Cells. <v Speaker 2>Who cares? <v Speaker 3>Borderlands Force coming next year, this says goat Simulator Remastered. <v Speaker 3>They're bringing out all the hits bro Dying Light. The new Mafia game? <v Speaker 3>But I think it must be set in like old <v Speaker 3>Italy or something. <v Speaker 2>That's kind of sick. <v Speaker 5>That's sick. <v Speaker 2>I like that. Really, I hate it. <v Speaker 2>I for me, it's the same as it's as disappointing <v Speaker 2>as the Lego Decu tree was. And I thought that <v Speaker 2>was disappointing. Yeah, yeah, I thought it was. I thought <v Speaker 2>it was just like it's just it's very it's very <v Speaker 2>child's play, you know, all. <v Speaker 5>Right, here we go, I'm a child. <v Speaker 2>What do we got? Show me? <v Speaker 1>You have the laggiest laptop. <v Speaker 5>In the world. <v Speaker 3>I'm trying to full screen this. I'm not trying to <v Speaker 3>go to the end. I'm trying to try to start <v Speaker 3>it again. I gotta get a new laptop. <v Speaker 2>This is this is a lot. This is a this <v Speaker 2>is a lot. This is very dramatic. <v Speaker 1>There's a silhouette of a car Mario Kart ready set <v Speaker 1>field racing in twenty twenty five. <v Speaker 2>I would so. <v Speaker 1>Much rather than be that's all. We need an image? Yeah, <v Speaker 1>what is that? <v Speaker 4>I mean I do have an image. I just thought <v Speaker 4>we were going to get more of. <v Speaker 2>A trailer out of it. I just like, I wouldn't <v Speaker 2>much rather than just be like minifigs. <v Speaker 1>Here's the thing like this is that we already have <v Speaker 1>Mario cutt Home Circuit, which is a toy that Nintendo <v Speaker 1>made that works with the switch where you can play <v Speaker 1>Mario cut with little toys. <v Speaker 4>So how is this gonna work? <v Speaker 3>Is this literally just like you just build the toys, <v Speaker 3>you push them around and you're like, we we pretty much. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, okay, well that's cute. <v Speaker 2>That's what Lego usually is. <v Speaker 4>I mean it's for babies. What do we care? <v Speaker 2>I guess it's. <v Speaker 3>Literally I mean all of the. <v Speaker 2>Babies The way that you say that, though, makes it <v Speaker 2>feel like you expected your Lego Star Destroyer to start flying. <v Speaker 2>It's just a toy. <v Speaker 5>You do it for a set piece, you build it. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, I know, but these ones, specifically, all of the <v Speaker 3>Mario legos have been for kids. Like there's these little <v Speaker 3>baby play sets. Like my friend Billy's kid, Bruce got <v Speaker 3>one of the We got them at the same time. <v Speaker 3>I got it as an adult and Bruce was like <v Speaker 3>three and he got one and he was playing with <v Speaker 3>his and he was like bouncing Mario everywhere and it <v Speaker 3>was making all the sounds and he was loving. He <v Speaker 3>took Mario everywhere he went with him, and I just <v Speaker 3>put Onne on the shelf. <v Speaker 2>I like, I that's what I do. <v Speaker 4>Didn't even open the Luigi. <v Speaker 1>One because these sets are for babies, the little babies. <v Speaker 2>And I'm trying to say. What I'm trying to say <v Speaker 2>is that's bullshit, you know, because because I'm an adult, <v Speaker 2>but I love it, you know. I love Mario Kart and. <v Speaker 5>I I have it up there. <v Speaker 3>There's the giant N sixty four block. You can build, <v Speaker 3>you can build the old nes Mario, you can build <v Speaker 3>the you can build the big Bowser Yeah. <v Speaker 2>No, I'm not saying there isn't cool stuff like cool <v Speaker 2>Nintendo Lego. I'm just saying that like Mario Kark for <v Speaker 2>me right was my childhood and I still love it <v Speaker 2>to this day. I love Mario kart Ate Deluxek. <v Speaker 4>Okay, So so children should get nothing, children, children. <v Speaker 2>Children should What do children deserve? Okay, they're skinny toileting <v Speaker 2>their way through life right now. <v Speaker 3>They deserve a little bit of joy before reality slaps <v Speaker 3>them in the face the day they turn eighteen, have <v Speaker 3>to get a real job. <v Speaker 2>I just feel like the iPad kid generation right now <v Speaker 2>doesn't even care to be building legos anyway, So why <v Speaker 2>did they? Why why would we give that to them? <v Speaker 2>Let's just let me have a leg. <v Speaker 4>This barely have to build these tension span zero. <v Speaker 5>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>That they kind of just snapped together and then they <v Speaker 1>and then they interact with like. <v Speaker 5>How's the decu tree one? Is that one? You have <v Speaker 5>to build a lot like this Aldo one? <v Speaker 2>It looks similar, you could, you could, you could look <v Speaker 2>it up. It's it's it's it's child's play. It's just <v Speaker 2>child's play. The decor tree lego have you seen it? <v Speaker 2>Would Nope, Oh, it's it's it's disappointing. <v Speaker 1>I think when did this get cut released? <v Speaker 2>Oh, this was a few months ago, wasn't it? Like, <v Speaker 2>I don't know if it's I think it's out, but <v Speaker 2>oh I see this, Yeah, I just I think, like <v Speaker 2>you can, I think this is awesome. It looks it <v Speaker 2>looks cool, but it doesn't. It's it doesn't look it's <v Speaker 2>so expensive for like it just being like a set <v Speaker 2>that you could probably build in an hour. I imagine. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, it's you know, it's one of those easy ones <v Speaker 3>that you just kind of snap a few pieces together. <v Speaker 3>Does it actually, well, it does, say twenty five hundred pieces. <v Speaker 2>Okay, maybe it's ten correct, maybe. <v Speaker 3>Well, I get what you mean. The overall look of it, <v Speaker 3>it's not very lock like. It's not really like, yeah, <v Speaker 3>it doesn't look like something I want to sit down <v Speaker 3>and spend an evening building. But there is twenty five <v Speaker 3>hundred pieces, which I. <v Speaker 5>Think you can build a decortory in two ways. That's <v Speaker 5>why there's twenty five hundred pieces. <v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, because there's there's the green leaves, and then <v Speaker 2>there's the pink the cherry blossom leaves. <v Speaker 5>So you get the breadth of the wild one and <v Speaker 5>then you get there's a time. <v Speaker 1>There's a hidden little level inside too, with a little <v Speaker 1>spider and a little little cubby UPSTT. I'm getting sold <v Speaker 1>on this. Oh and it has his little house from <v Speaker 1>the start of our like the house. <v Speaker 2>I like the house. <v Speaker 1>Wait, do not know about this? <v Speaker 5>This thing is awesome. <v Speaker 2>This thing is sick hand man. I just I'm just <v Speaker 2>the wrong guy on the podcast. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, it's a decortory two in one. So you <v Speaker 1>can you have the Breath of the Wild one time? <v Speaker 1>Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah. <v Speaker 2>What's buying it right now? You want me to switch off? <v Speaker 2>So right now I am going to pre order it. <v Speaker 2>I am actually yeah, all right, I'll take I'll take <v Speaker 2>it off your screen so you can buy it right now. <v Speaker 4>I don't want to do it right now. <v Speaker 2>Man. <v Speaker 3>All right, guys, that's all the main stuff.
