WWE RAW Review: Seth & Bron Breakker Face-Off, Joe Hendry Concert, Fatu Attacks Roman Reigns

<v Speaker 1>Backlash is only a week away, well a week from
<v Speaker 1>this Saturday, on May ninth. Already we're talking about another PL.
<v Speaker 1>It feels like we just wrapped up WrestleMania, but Monday
<v Speaker 1>Night Raw was live last night and it pushed things
<v Speaker 1>forward towards Backlash. We only have three matches as of
<v Speaker 1>this recording that are confirmed for Backlash, and that is
<v Speaker 1>the World Heavyweight Championship with Roman Reigns taking on Jacob
<v Speaker 1>Battu Roman or rather seth Rawlins taking on bron Breaker
<v Speaker 1>and EO Sky versus OSCA. I would imagine probably two
<v Speaker 1>more matches at most will be added to the PL
<v Speaker 1>and we're going to have a SmackDown, probably do just
<v Speaker 1>that coming up on Friday. So what's the backlash pun
<v Speaker 1>intended from any of the releases? Well, WWE had in
<v Speaker 1>total twenty four releases, and most of the pressure has
<v Speaker 1>been put on WWE from EO Sky's release. And I
<v Speaker 1>went over this in detail on a video. Many of
<v Speaker 1>you agreed, many of you quite frankly didn't, and that's
<v Speaker 1>cool with my analysis and how really that WWE has
<v Speaker 1>the right to do this and they do, they do,
<v Speaker 1>and all of a sudden you're having people come out
<v Speaker 1>and say, well, there was so much support for you,
<v Speaker 1>where you're rather a Kyrie saying I should say Kyrie
<v Speaker 1>saying not Yo, I misspoke. So for Kyrie, all of
<v Speaker 1>a sudden there's everybody yelling and screaming about how WWE
<v Speaker 1>is unfair and they should have done more. Again, where
<v Speaker 1>were you when she was here? If it was so
<v Speaker 1>important that she be pushed further and further, where are you?
<v Speaker 1>You know, when it actually matters, not when WWE does
<v Speaker 1>something that you don't like or like to jump on
<v Speaker 1>the bandwagon of. And it sounds like I'm being an
<v Speaker 1>apologist for TKO. I'm not. I hammer them on most things,
<v Speaker 1>but on this end of things, they have the right
<v Speaker 1>to do it. And we'll see if WWE or TKO
<v Speaker 1>end up caving to the pressure. Because it's going to
<v Speaker 1>take a sustained effort by fans. This can't be something
<v Speaker 1>that's one and done. It has to be something that
<v Speaker 1>the fans consistently push the company to do, and it
<v Speaker 1>has to translate not just online but in person. I've
<v Speaker 1>said that before. You have to start hearing EO Sky chance,
<v Speaker 1>I'm sorry you keep saying EO Sky Kyrie sane. You
<v Speaker 1>have to keep hearing Kyrie sane. Chance if you don't,
<v Speaker 1>it's over. And my guess is based on our culture
<v Speaker 1>that we can't pay attention for any more than follow up,
<v Speaker 1>but maybe maybe four to five seconds, it's going to
<v Speaker 1>fade away, and it's going to fade away quickly, because
<v Speaker 1>that's kind of how things go. And if I'm the company,
<v Speaker 1>I'm just waiting it out. I'm probably sticking with my decision.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just waiting it out because if I don't, that's
<v Speaker 1>going to empower fans to bitch and complain about things
<v Speaker 1>that we do, or release people that we released that
<v Speaker 1>they don't like. That it then educates the fans to hey,
<v Speaker 1>all they have to do is complain loud enough and
<v Speaker 1>hard enough and will reverse our decision. So from their perspective,
<v Speaker 1>that's probably what they're going to do. And if I
<v Speaker 1>was on their side, I probably would do the same.
<v Speaker 1>I would wait this out. I'd let the noise quiet
<v Speaker 1>because the news cycle of something else will take over.
<v Speaker 1>It always does. So I'm guessing they're probably not going
<v Speaker 1>to bring Kyrie Saying back. If they do, I'll be surprised,
<v Speaker 1>but it would take a sustained effort on the end
<v Speaker 1>of fans to continue to do that. Now, I will
<v Speaker 1>say too that we had Nick Kahn recently talk about
<v Speaker 1>the vocal minority and how there's a vocal minority of
<v Speaker 1>fans that are upset with the creative. I mean, either
<v Speaker 1>he is stupid or he's trying to minimize the backlash. Again,
<v Speaker 1>I'm pun intended, I guess, because if that was true,
<v Speaker 1>then the vocal minority also got the main event of
<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania forty changed. The vocal minority also brought our truth back.
<v Speaker 1>The vocal minority also started the women's revolution. You see.
<v Speaker 1>You can't have it both ways, you can't. And it
<v Speaker 1>also pushed Daniel Bryan to the main event of WrestleMania
<v Speaker 1>thirty to win the undisputed Championship at WrestleMania thirty. So
<v Speaker 1>he's just trying to, i think, say face and protect
<v Speaker 1>the company, protect himself, make everything look good to the
<v Speaker 1>shareholders and stockholders. That's what he's doing because it's not
<v Speaker 1>a vocal minority. You see a lot of fans. If
<v Speaker 1>he didn't know this, and this may be a secret
<v Speaker 1>that I'm giving out, a lot of fans have access
<v Speaker 1>to the Internet. Not every fan does, and not every
<v Speaker 1>fan that loves something or hates something will let you know.
<v Speaker 1>But most fans, if not all, have access to the Internet.
<v Speaker 1>And just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's
<v Speaker 1>a minority of people. If it's such a minority, By
<v Speaker 1>the way, where are all the people praising things? Again,
<v Speaker 1>we live in a culture where we like to complain.
<v Speaker 1>At the same time, if you believe it's a minority,
<v Speaker 1>well where's the majority? How do you know that there
<v Speaker 1>is a majority that feel the opposite. See, it's completely
<v Speaker 1>an easily debunked theory by Nick con It's trying. He's
<v Speaker 1>attempting to mitigate damage, and that's his job. But it
<v Speaker 1>is very annoying as a fan knowing that as fans,
<v Speaker 1>this is not a minority. If it's also minority, why
<v Speaker 1>did they boo the hell out of everything that was
<v Speaker 1>being done in the Randy Orton Cody Road story all
<v Speaker 1>the way to through and past WrestleMania. So yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>don't think so. All right, getting that out of the way,

<v Speaker 1>it and dive into the details. It emanated from let's right, Laredo.
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was Lubbock, Laredo, Texas at the Auto Arena,
<v Speaker 1>the Sam's Auto Arena. Apparently the AC went out, which
<v Speaker 1>is why Roman Rains was sweating his ass off. I
<v Speaker 1>was wondering at the end of the show. M you know,
<v Speaker 1>he didn't exactly exhaust himself. But apparently the AC went
<v Speaker 1>out in the arena. But the show opened with a
<v Speaker 1>video package and Rains and the USOS and while they're
<v Speaker 1>all sitting in chairs near the end of a table,
<v Speaker 1>Rain said he couldn't understand where Fatu was coming from.
<v Speaker 1>Jay spoke about how Fatu would be the shot collar
<v Speaker 1>if he beats Rains, and Jay told Roman that there
<v Speaker 1>should be consequences. Rain said, Jay is right. Rain said
<v Speaker 1>he would chew on it and make his own and
<v Speaker 1>address it later tonight. Jay said family first, and they
<v Speaker 1>all put their hands together, and Rain said the first family.
<v Speaker 1>So if you didn't know, they're also not the only
<v Speaker 1>a wrestling does have won more than one royal family.
<v Speaker 1>He didn't say that, but kind of implied. Okay. So
<v Speaker 1>the ticket sales, in case you're wondering, Wrussell Ticks listed
<v Speaker 1>the venue as being set up for eighty five ninety three,
<v Speaker 1>with eight and forty six tickets being distributed a couple
<v Speaker 1>hours before the show, and the listed capacity is ten thousand,
<v Speaker 1>so in other words, it wasn't a sellout. About eighty
<v Speaker 1>some percent of the listed capacity was sold, if you
<v Speaker 1>care about something like that. So Seth Rollins comes out
<v Speaker 1>and the crowd chanted his entrance theme as they have
<v Speaker 1>done for years now. Rollin said Breaker is the reason
<v Speaker 1>he lost to Gunther and that Roman Reigns has his
<v Speaker 1>world championship. Rollin said he knew Breaker was backstage with
<v Speaker 1>nine stables in the back of his head. You're welcome
<v Speaker 1>for that, Rolin said, Breaker comes out, and he went
<v Speaker 1>face to face with Rollins, who said he gave Breaker everything,
<v Speaker 1>and Rollins asked what Breaker got out of costing him
<v Speaker 1>the championship in the WrestleMania match against Gunther. Hayman teased
<v Speaker 1>talking for Breaker and then handed Break of the mic,
<v Speaker 1>and Breaker said that he questioned what he got from
<v Speaker 1>Rollins and then held his nose close while mocking Rollins
<v Speaker 1>delivering his catchphrases, and Breaker said the only reason he
<v Speaker 1>teamed up with Rollins was that he needed Hayman. Rollins
<v Speaker 1>recalled going to NXT and facing Breaker after Shawn Michael
<v Speaker 1>said he was the best brand the brand had to offer.
<v Speaker 1>He also recalled Hayman pitching the idea to Rollins of
<v Speaker 1>taking Breaker under his wing. Rollin said he was all
<v Speaker 1>for it because of where a Breaker could be. One
<v Speaker 1>year later, and Seth recalled Braun losing when he challenged
<v Speaker 1>for the World Championship, and Rollins said Breaker tries while
<v Speaker 1>he does and bron Breaker said that he may have
<v Speaker 1>come up short in the title match, but Rollins is
<v Speaker 1>the best thing at being number two. Not a great
<v Speaker 1>really not a great line, but Rollin's called Breaker baby
<v Speaker 1>Steiner and asked if he came up with that line
<v Speaker 1>on his own or if Big popa Pump was his hookup,
<v Speaker 1>and Rollin said he would give Breaker a match at
<v Speaker 1>Backlash to prove he's ready. He said, Rollin said, Steiner,
<v Speaker 1>you're not even number two in your own family, and
<v Speaker 1>that was it. This was okay. I know that the
<v Speaker 1>analysis here saying is a good A good verbal exchange
<v Speaker 1>setting up the match for Backlash. Breaker held his own. Fine,
<v Speaker 1>Breaker has held his own. That's been I think the
<v Speaker 1>theme of his promo work thus far, he has held
<v Speaker 1>his own. I don't think he's done outstanding. He had
<v Speaker 1>the promo of his career against seam Punk, which was
<v Speaker 1>the January Was that the January sixth edition of Raw? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>So I think he did a great, a great promo there,
<v Speaker 1>But outside of it, I don't think he's really reached
<v Speaker 1>where he can get yet. He's got the confidence, he
<v Speaker 1>doesn't have the words quite yet, maybe, but he's on
<v Speaker 1>his way, and he's ahead of where most are at
<v Speaker 1>his age and experience. So I'm hopeful because he's slow
<v Speaker 1>but steady and holding his own is a perfect way
<v Speaker 1>to put so far how he's been doesn't blow you away,
<v Speaker 1>but he impresses you with what you expect from someone
<v Speaker 1>of his experience level. So moving on, we get the
<v Speaker 1>Intercontinental Champion Penta taking on Rusev in a non title match,
<v Speaker 1>with Penta beating Rusev in seven and a half minutes, again,
<v Speaker 1>title not on the line. The finish was Penta teasing
<v Speaker 1>a springboard move before or holding onto the ropes, which
<v Speaker 1>caused Rusev to miss with a kick, and then Penta
<v Speaker 1>rolled up Russev for the three count, but afterwards Rusev
<v Speaker 1>hit Penta from behind. Ethan Page enters the ring, removes
<v Speaker 1>his jacket and then rolled up his sleeves while Russev
<v Speaker 1>was beating down Penta, and then it was a beat down.
<v Speaker 1>Jamon Evans comes out and he hits Page with the
<v Speaker 1>springboard clothesline, and then Pena recovered and super kick Russev,
<v Speaker 1>and then Ethan hits Russev with an og cutter that
<v Speaker 1>was just crazy, and then Penta approached Evans and raised
<v Speaker 1>his arm. So Russev loses here, but he gets his
<v Speaker 1>heat back quickly and the analysis that up breathing a corner.
<v Speaker 1>Pro Wrestling Net credit to them said, I'm mildly surprised
<v Speaker 1>with Russev taking the loss when Penta would have had
<v Speaker 1>an out for losing to do to Page distracting him.
<v Speaker 1>But I'm not going to complain about getting a clean finish.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, I mean low bar right, But yeah, Russov lost,
<v Speaker 1>even though he's been kind of built up at been
<v Speaker 1>built up just prior to and afterward WrestleMania as a monster.
<v Speaker 1>He was looked at as one of the favorites to
<v Speaker 1>win the IC title in the later match at WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 1>He obviously didn't. But yeah, he takes a loss here,
<v Speaker 1>but it's it was one of those kind of roll
<v Speaker 1>up quick, not with tights, but just one of those
<v Speaker 1>roll up quick three counts. It wasn't like he hit
<v Speaker 1>his finish and then lost. That's much more of a
<v Speaker 1>clean finish, a decisive, definitive finish. But he got his
<v Speaker 1>heat back instantly, So people aren't even remembering the fact
<v Speaker 1>that Russev lost. The focus is on the beatdown and
<v Speaker 1>Javon Evans saving him, and you know that an Ethan
<v Speaker 1>Page and Russev versus Penta and Penta and Javon Evans
<v Speaker 1>tag team match is probably in the cards for next week.
<v Speaker 1>If it's not already on the on the card, I
<v Speaker 1>will say too. I mean, boy, Javon Evans, the dude's
<v Speaker 1>got springs in his feet. He is a just a freak.
<v Speaker 1>It's it's got like go go gadget legs. And that's
<v Speaker 1>a compliment to him. He's so young, so athletic. The
<v Speaker 1>only criticism because you know, I got to give one.
<v Speaker 1>He doesn't lay his shit in, as Steve Austin would say.
<v Speaker 1>He's very soft with how he delivers, and I know
<v Speaker 1>he's trying to be safe, and I'd much rather have
<v Speaker 1>safe than wild and injury prone. But it feels very
<v Speaker 1>with him, very choreographed. It doesn't feel organic, like he's
<v Speaker 1>been practicing what he's about to do for weeks with
<v Speaker 1>his maneuvers. Don't feel like it's off the cuff and
<v Speaker 1>he's just trying to beat down his opponent. He's always
<v Speaker 1>trying to do some kind of gymnastics stunt. It feels
<v Speaker 1>very much choreographed with Javon Evans, with the way he
<v Speaker 1>moves and everything else. Again, however complimentary to him. He
<v Speaker 1>is and maybe the single most athletic man on the
<v Speaker 1>entire raw roster. Now, I know that covers a lot
<v Speaker 1>of ground, including Logan Paul, who in his own right
<v Speaker 1>is one of the best athletes that the company has
<v Speaker 1>right now. But maybe from a pure just floating in
<v Speaker 1>the air athleticism, if that's a thing somehow, maybe he's
<v Speaker 1>got the best anti gravity presence on the roster. If
<v Speaker 1>does that make sense, I don't know how else to
<v Speaker 1>put it. He's just he's like a whisper in the wind.
<v Speaker 1>Shout out to Jeff Hardy. That's kind of what he is,
<v Speaker 1>and it makes you excited for the things he can
<v Speaker 1>and might do moving forward. But I will say this
<v Speaker 1>is only going to take him so far. His athleticism
<v Speaker 1>and his youth are huge factors and positives on his side.
<v Speaker 1>What's going to eventually get sealing him cap him is
<v Speaker 1>that he needs a personality. He needs to break away
<v Speaker 1>at some point. Doesn't need to be now he's got
<v Speaker 1>the attention of the fans because he's just incredibly athletic,
<v Speaker 1>but eventually he's going to need to figure out the
<v Speaker 1>microphone portion of things on a insistent basis and show
<v Speaker 1>the fans who he is because, as we all know,
<v Speaker 1>that's where the real money lies is in promos, Athletic
<v Speaker 1>wrestlers are a dime a dozen. Now you can have
<v Speaker 1>ultra athletic like Javon Evans and Logan Paul and others,
<v Speaker 1>and that has a certain audience. But where the real
<v Speaker 1>money lies is in promos. Your lips talk people into seats.
<v Speaker 1>It's not your athleticism. I'll continue to hammer this because
<v Speaker 1>it's an overlooked aspect of wrestling today or even a
<v Speaker 1>forgotten aspect of wrestling today. You can have the most
<v Speaker 1>athletic body ever built in the world, right, you could
<v Speaker 1>have some kind of genetically modified physique. But if you're
<v Speaker 1>in the ring and you have an audience that doesn't
<v Speaker 1>know who you are, what your mission is, which you're
<v Speaker 1>good and bad, personality looks like can they or can
<v Speaker 1>they not relate to you? If they aren't able to
<v Speaker 1>connect with you, they aren't going to give a shit
<v Speaker 1>what you can do in the ring beyond what can
<v Speaker 1>you do for me? Meaning they'll react to the moves
<v Speaker 1>you make, but they're not going to really care if
<v Speaker 1>you win or lose. That's a really bad place to
<v Speaker 1>be because you're putting your body on the line essentially
<v Speaker 1>for nothing. Because the fans ultimately at the end of
<v Speaker 1>the day, they don't care if you win or lose.
<v Speaker 1>So the athleticism and that just youth that he has,
<v Speaker 1>which again is very much on his side. It's a
<v Speaker 1>good starting point. It's a really good starting point. But
<v Speaker 1>eventually you're going to have to be able to speak
<v Speaker 1>on the mic and talk people into seats and having
<v Speaker 1>them care why you win or lose. So let's move
<v Speaker 1>move on here. We have already twenty minutes into the
<v Speaker 1>show and I'm only one match him. So we have
<v Speaker 1>Becky Lynch come out to cut a promo. She talked
<v Speaker 1>about how she got rid of aj Lee once and
<v Speaker 1>for all, and she said she became the first wrestler
<v Speaker 1>in history when four different titles at WrestleMania, the first
<v Speaker 1>three time Women's IC champion, and now has the most
<v Speaker 1>matches of any female at WrestleMania. And she recalled seeing
<v Speaker 1>her daughter in the front row, and she spoke about
<v Speaker 1>how it's not about the five star hotels and other perks,
<v Speaker 1>it's about going to run down towns like Laredo. She
<v Speaker 1>said the fans want her to fight the best of
<v Speaker 1>the best, and she issued an open challenge. This open
<v Speaker 1>challenge deal WWE gets on these tangents where I mean,
<v Speaker 1>for example, pull apart brawls. All of a sudden, everyone's
<v Speaker 1>doing pull apart brawls, this masked mystery attack. They get
<v Speaker 1>on that for months and it's in various storylines, and
<v Speaker 1>then they get in this open challenge just fascination or
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what it is. How many open challenges
<v Speaker 1>have we seen over the last several months? The United
<v Speaker 1>States Championship on the men's side has changed hands. How
<v Speaker 1>many times because it's been open challenge over the last
<v Speaker 1>four or five six months. Brock Lesner issued an open
<v Speaker 1>challenge for WrestleMania. Obafemi's now doing it, and we'll talk
<v Speaker 1>about that. Becky Lynch is now doing it. I think
<v Speaker 1>at one point the Intercontinental Championship maybe once or twice
<v Speaker 1>over the last couple of months on SmackDown or on
<v Speaker 1>now It's Backdown. I think this needs to take a
<v Speaker 1>chill pill. I love open challenges as a concept when
<v Speaker 1>it's done sparingly, but it seems like everybody's down for
<v Speaker 1>the open challenge, and it's that tells me that they don't.
<v Speaker 1>When you when you use an open challenge, this frequently
<v Speaker 1>kind of tells me creatives out of ideas. It means
<v Speaker 1>they don't have a defined opponent for you moving forward.
<v Speaker 1>That's what it means. They're just saying, hey, you know what,
<v Speaker 1>we're going to just make it for You're going to
<v Speaker 1>have you face various people over the next several months
<v Speaker 1>because we don't have someone lined up for you. So
<v Speaker 1>the the open Challenge is a crutch for we don't
<v Speaker 1>have anyone. That's what that is. I mean, it's it's
<v Speaker 1>just a fact. It's not exclusively used for that. But
<v Speaker 1>when you have this type of frequency of the open
<v Speaker 1>Challenge being used, simply what it is. But EO. Sky
<v Speaker 1>comes out and answers Lynch and a Kyrie Chant did
<v Speaker 1>break out, guys, it did keep an eye on that.
<v Speaker 1>Sky smiled and then told Lynch that she accepted her challenge,
<v Speaker 1>and Lynch recalled, saying she wanted to face the best
<v Speaker 1>of the best. That's not Sky, and Lynch won if
<v Speaker 1>Sky was accepting on behalf of Rhea, Lynch said she
<v Speaker 1>wanted to face Sean Michaels, not Marty Jeannetti, and Sky
<v Speaker 1>hit Lynch and she scurried out of the ring. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>I mean EO Sky and Becky Lynch. I don't really
<v Speaker 1>have any complaints about this, really, I don't now. The
<v Speaker 1>analysis here is funny because I was thinking the same
<v Speaker 1>thing when I was watching this about the reference to
<v Speaker 1>Marty Jeannetti. The analysis says, before anyone tries to say Jeanette,
<v Speaker 1>the Jeanetti line was two dated. The live crowd gasps
<v Speaker 1>say otherwise, yeah they did. I was worried because that
<v Speaker 1>Marty Jeannetti incident was like thirty five years ago. It
<v Speaker 1>was I think in the mid nineties, So okay, thirty
<v Speaker 1>years ago a little bit more maybe, Still, it tells
<v Speaker 1>you that either those inattendance are wrestling historians or most
<v Speaker 1>of those in attendance were millennials wrestling when they were teenagers.
<v Speaker 1>So Adam Pierce, though, comes out and said Lynch issued
<v Speaker 1>an open challenge that was accepted by Sky, so the
<v Speaker 1>match was on, and Pierce said it was official, all right.
<v Speaker 1>So Becky Lynch and EO. Sky for the Women's Intercontinental
<v Speaker 1>Championship was official here, and Becky Lynch did end up
<v Speaker 1>beating Sky to retain the women's championship Because of the
<v Speaker 1>following EO rolls Becky Lynch inside the ring, Osca comes
<v Speaker 1>out and tripped Sky in the apron while the ref
<v Speaker 1>was focused on Becky. She then hit a man handle
<v Speaker 1>slam that looked really good, by the way, and she
<v Speaker 1>got the victory. Lynch leaves that was it. We want
<v Speaker 1>Kyrie chant did end up breaking out again. If we
<v Speaker 1>want change, guys, and you really feel strongly about Kyrie
<v Speaker 1>saying being brought back, then you're gonna have to keep
<v Speaker 1>this up. Now there are rumors flolding around and reports
<v Speaker 1>quote unquote that the reason she was let oh is
<v Speaker 1>because she wanted to move back to Japan. We don't
<v Speaker 1>know how true that is. I would take that with
<v Speaker 1>a grain of salt. It could be the company covering
<v Speaker 1>their ass that it wasn't me, it was them, It
<v Speaker 1>was her. See she wants to go back, it wasn't us.
<v Speaker 1>It could be total bullshit, but it also could be
<v Speaker 1>totally true. We'll find out what's true and not eventually.
<v Speaker 1>Truth always does seem to find its way out. But
<v Speaker 1>wanted to at least point that to your attention, that
<v Speaker 1>it could have been because she was interested in going
<v Speaker 1>back to Japan. Could be. I would vote no, but
<v Speaker 1>it's at least possible. So all right, some backstage stuff

<v Speaker 1>You know, it's always interesting with these shows to me,
<v Speaker 1>when you have people who are employed by the company
<v Speaker 1>interviewing other people employed by the company. There's only so
<v Speaker 1>much you can talk about, or let me rephrase that,
<v Speaker 1>there's only so much you can talk about truthfully. And
<v Speaker 1>I'm not crapping on even Cody Rhads or Live or
<v Speaker 1>anybody that has any of these shows, but I want
<v Speaker 1>those listening to understand that if you don't think they
<v Speaker 1>have a vested interest in protecting everything that is TKO
<v Speaker 1>or their jobs, their own security and livelihood. If you
<v Speaker 1>don't think that's their first priority, then you don't know
<v Speaker 1>human beings. You're not familiar with human nature. Because while
<v Speaker 1>these shows can be interesting, the conversations can be interesting,
<v Speaker 1>you do wonder what truth you're getting, what they're leaving out,
<v Speaker 1>what they're manipulating, and hey, we're all guilty if you
<v Speaker 1>were in the same position. I know if I was,
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't be shitting all over the company while I'm
<v Speaker 1>employed making a very good living. I wouldn't be criticizing
<v Speaker 1>outwardly publicly my issues and grievances with the company that
<v Speaker 1>I'm currently employed with. All these shows, again, they may
<v Speaker 1>be interesting to you. I don't watch all of them.
<v Speaker 1>I see snippets and highlights and viral things that come
<v Speaker 1>from them, and that's kind of my extent for the moment.
<v Speaker 1>But just remember the audience that they're talking to and
<v Speaker 1>their current state of employment. I mean, WWE is endorsing
<v Speaker 1>these podcasts under their own umbrella, pushing them under their
<v Speaker 1>own umbrella with employees, well, I should say contractors that
<v Speaker 1>have a very high vested interest in maintaining their livelihoods,
<v Speaker 1>and they're not going to bite the hand that feeds them.
<v Speaker 1>That kind of stuff comes after when they have nothing
<v Speaker 1>left to lose. Maybe they're done with the company, maybe
<v Speaker 1>they change the different company. They don't think they're coming back.
<v Speaker 1>That's when interviews can get very interesting. Until then, it's
<v Speaker 1>going to be, oh, road stories, let me tell me
<v Speaker 1>about road stories. Tell me, hey, you got started right,
<v Speaker 1>it's going to be the stuff that it is.

<v Speaker 1>It can be interesting, but the real good stuff you're
<v Speaker 1>not gonna hear it. You're not going to hear it
<v Speaker 1>from any of these corporately endorsed podcasts. It's basically state
<v Speaker 1>run radio. I think that's the perfect way to put it.
<v Speaker 1>And state run radio can be interesting. I'm not saying
<v Speaker 1>it's boring. I'm not saying that these men and women
<v Speaker 1>have no star power. No one's gonna listen, no no, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>no no no. You're gonna have a lot of people listen.
<v Speaker 1>But understand, it's state run radio. They're not being told
<v Speaker 1>what to say, but it's implied of the things they
<v Speaker 1>can and can say. So moving on. Joe Hendry comes
<v Speaker 1>out and he's sitting in a chair holding his guitar.
<v Speaker 1>He sang a song about being on raw. The lyrics
<v Speaker 1>included him acknowledging the OTC, yet wondering if they could
<v Speaker 1>fire Logan Paul this boy. I mean, I gotta say,
<v Speaker 1>kind of a disappointment here for Joe Hendry. I thought
<v Speaker 1>there'd be more, but that those kind of it. The
<v Speaker 1>vision's entrance music played and Logan Paul and Austin Theory
<v Speaker 1>came out. There were irate and saying he couldn't be fired.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I don't know why this just because a
<v Speaker 1>guy that hasn't been on the main roster is all
<v Speaker 1>of a sudden saying that he should be fired. Why
<v Speaker 1>is that making him mad again? I don't know whatever.
<v Speaker 1>But he was throwing as pro wrestling. That says a
<v Speaker 1>shit fit. It's a perfect way to put it. That's
<v Speaker 1>exactly what he was doing for. I don't know what reason,
<v Speaker 1>but he yelled at the fans and saying they're awful.
<v Speaker 1>Logan Paul did, and Theory said the gold belts make
<v Speaker 1>him and Logan winners. The tag titles he was referring to.
<v Speaker 1>Henry said he watched WrestleMania and saw a couple of
<v Speaker 1>primetime losers. Henry or Theory shoved Henry Henry who struck
<v Speaker 1>his pose and then fought both of them, and then
<v Speaker 1>Logan and Theory got the better of Henry. That's when
<v Speaker 1>the street profits come out to save the day and
<v Speaker 1>side with Joe Hendry. Fine, it's I mean, it did
<v Speaker 1>not give Joe Henry a lot of time. I thought
<v Speaker 1>he would have much more time. I know it was
<v Speaker 1>a concert quote unquote. We've seen that before. We've seen
<v Speaker 1>rock concerts and others. We've seen Elias if you remember
<v Speaker 1>him from several years ago. That is usually a setup
<v Speaker 1>for a heel or a baby face to interrupt him.
<v Speaker 1>It's a segment that is nothing more than a table
<v Speaker 1>setter for someone to interrupt and lo and behold, that's
<v Speaker 1>what we got. So Joe Hendry getting interrupted. Sure, him
<v Speaker 1>working with the tag team champions off the bat good place,
<v Speaker 1>you know, that's a good place for Joe Henry to start.
<v Speaker 1>I think he's lost some momentum because the company did
<v Speaker 1>not put him on the main roster when he was
<v Speaker 1>at his peak popularity with his music and his entrance.
<v Speaker 1>They won't be able to recapture that because you just can't.
<v Speaker 1>That's the way life goes. You have to catch lightning
<v Speaker 1>when it's in a bottle and then put a cap

<v Speaker 1>next match that lasted eight and a half minutes. Ray
<v Speaker 1>Maisterio beats El Grande Americano, who was with Bravo and Reo.
<v Speaker 1>The finish was Bravo tripping Ray while Reo distracted the referee,
<v Speaker 1>and then Reo tried to slide the steel plate into
<v Speaker 1>Americano's mask, but Ray took out Ray took out Reo,
<v Speaker 1>and then Americano picked up the steel plate and loaded
<v Speaker 1>it into his mask, but El Grande Americano stopped him
<v Speaker 1>and then Ray hit the six one nine, dropped the dime,
<v Speaker 1>got the victory. He Ray left the ring afterwards, and
<v Speaker 1>that's when the original Grande Americano attacked the other one,

<v Speaker 1>WrestleMania twenty five, Rock Austin at fifteen seventeen nineteen, specifically seventeen.

<v Speaker 1>bar for the best Wrestlemanium from the best promos to
<v Speaker 1>the best card to the best main event. It's up
<v Speaker 1>there with even Triple H Undertaker, the two matches they had,
<v Speaker 1>the one with Shawn Michaels as the referee, It's up
<v Speaker 1>there with all of them. It was that good. It
<v Speaker 1>really was. I'm not just saying it because it's the
<v Speaker 1>most recent and fresh in my mind. It was that
<v Speaker 1>damn good. So Jacob Fattou interrupts pretty quickly, and Rain

<v Speaker 1>or rather the man making the championship. Now the championship
<v Speaker 1>making the man. This is how you make the championship.
<v Speaker 1>You make people earn it. This is exactly right. So

<v Speaker 1>you got to have a main event. I understand that
<v Speaker 1>you gotta have a championship match, especially at PL's, I understand,
<v Speaker 1>but everything is just negated by that person's bad behavior.
<v Speaker 1>So that shows your lack of discipline. And did you
<v Speaker 1>really mean everything you just said about the championship that
<v Speaker 1>he didn't earn it that the man makes the championship,
<v Speaker 1>not the championship making the man, And all of a sudden,
<v Speaker 1>you're rewarding the band behavior that you just condemned. It
<v Speaker 1>doesn't make sense. It's not Roman's fault and not crapping
<v Speaker 1>on Roman for this. It's just the loopholes in the
<v Speaker 1>logic of professional wrestling that I cannot look past. But
<v Speaker 1>it's been something that is consistent for decades in the
<v Speaker 1>company and it's not going anywhere. But we have let's
<v Speaker 1>see here, I'll see your punk ass on Monday, Fatu said,
<v Speaker 1>And that's when Lee Fitting, good old Lee Fitting and
<v Speaker 1>Paul Avec had their credits on the show. So I
<v Speaker 1>mean it's effective. We all know Roman's not going to lose.
<v Speaker 1>It's putting Fatu in a position where we don't know
<v Speaker 1>if he's a babyface or heel. We just don't know.
<v Speaker 1>The fans are booing him. Roman Reigns is still a
<v Speaker 1>bigger star than Fatu is by miles, so they're trying
<v Speaker 1>to build a new star, and I appreciate that it's
<v Speaker 1>what they should be doing, but it's confusing how we
<v Speaker 1>should feel. Just like coming out of Randy Cody, we
<v Speaker 1>don't know how the fuck we're supposed to feel. Now
<v Speaker 1>you got Fatu, We're not supposed to We don't know
<v Speaker 1>how we're supposed to feel. You again, you hear the
<v Speaker 1>fans are like boo, like they don't know what they
<v Speaker 1>want to do. It's weird. So the reaction at backlash
<v Speaker 1>is going to be interesting. I would imagine most of
<v Speaker 1>them are in Roman's corner. Fatu I just cannot get behind.
<v Speaker 1>As far as a guy that I feel like is
<v Speaker 1>anywhere near ready for a championship run. He has a
<v Speaker 1>lot of work to do. I don't even like his character,
<v Speaker 1>I got to say. And it's not just because he's
<v Speaker 1>one of these told the company line and told the
<v Speaker 1>fans to just stop being negative and just shut up
<v Speaker 1>and watch, so he basically that's what he told us.
<v Speaker 1>And to that answer, I would say, in that response,
<v Speaker 1>I would say, go fuck yourself. I'm a paying customer,
<v Speaker 1>and just like any other organization, if I have a problem,
<v Speaker 1>I will voice that and you're gonna have to deal
<v Speaker 1>with it because you chose this line of work. So
<v Speaker 1>fuck off. That's what I would say. And yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>would say that, and if oh, you can say it
<v Speaker 1>to his face actually, like, Okay, First of all, I
<v Speaker 1>don't think I'll ever be in that scenario, but even
<v Speaker 1>if I was, yeah, I would. Why again, people think
<v Speaker 1>threatening is different than actually like giving your opinion on
<v Speaker 1>a product. I'm talking about the product, not attacking him
<v Speaker 1>on a personal level of his family, saying from a
<v Speaker 1>professional standpoint, yeah, I absolutely would. Like so you could
<v Speaker 1>beat you up, Okay, then guess what, He's got way
<v Speaker 1>more to lose than I do. Cool, I'll see him
<v Speaker 1>and then I'll be a millionaire. I'll take a couple
<v Speaker 1>of lumps and go to the doctor. Fine, Okay, and
<v Speaker 1>then he's out of a job because it's gonna be
<v Speaker 1>probably recorded because everything's recorded these days, and I'm a millionaire. Cool, Like,
<v Speaker 1>people have to think this through, you know, like, uh,
<v Speaker 1>it just makes no sense anyway. Anybody that spews that
<v Speaker 1>corporate line can go fuck themselves as far as that goes.
<v Speaker 1>But fa too. I just I don't his character as
<v Speaker 1>a whole is it's too animalistic for me. I know
<v Speaker 1>he's a werewolf, I kid it, but he most of
<v Speaker 1>the time I came and understand what he's saying, because
<v Speaker 1>it's just it's slang on top of him yelling into
<v Speaker 1>the mic, on top of he doesn't use proper grammar.
<v Speaker 1>And I'm not asking him to recite Hamlet to me,
<v Speaker 1>right or some kind of Shakespeare novel. I'm not, but
<v Speaker 1>you have to be able to speak. He's kind of
<v Speaker 1>like Jay. They all kind of have that same problem.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, Okay, I understand you're trying to be cool
<v Speaker 1>and slang and be angry, but be edgy and be
<v Speaker 1>also kind of topical and be but also it'd be
<v Speaker 1>nice to be able to clearly communicate with your audience
<v Speaker 1>what in the hell you're actually trying to say, Like,
<v Speaker 1>use real words, don't use meshed like made up garble words.
<v Speaker 1>Just speak English, coherent English. That's my preference. That's all
<v Speaker 1>I ask, is just the basics, and some of you
<v Speaker 1>will probably say, oh, he's being racist. No, I hold
<v Speaker 1>this standard to everyone. Everyone should be able to communicate
<v Speaker 1>with the audience clearly and effectively. This has been true
<v Speaker 1>for ever, for not just wrestling, but for all walks
<v Speaker 1>of life, in every business and not just business, personal,
<v Speaker 1>throughout all levels and parts of your life. But again,
<v Speaker 1>it's racist because I know what's coming, and that's fine.
<v Speaker 1>You want to think that I just don't care. It
<v Speaker 1>doesn't mean anything to me because that that accusations thrown
<v Speaker 1>around for so many different people that it has no basis.
<v Speaker 1>It means nothing to me because it's overused and overplayed
<v Speaker 1>and it's anyway. But that's all I asked for, and
<v Speaker 1>that's why. That's partly why I don't like Fatou's character.
<v Speaker 1>There's not a lot to it. He's just always angry
<v Speaker 1>and shaking his head. And maybe many of you may say,
<v Speaker 1>and I thought the same thing, what about Oomaga? Now Umaga?
<v Speaker 1>To me, it was more interesting. I actually really liked Umaga.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think I realized how much I appreciated his
<v Speaker 1>character now until later when I watch him work. And
<v Speaker 1>this was in the mid two thousands, where he was
<v Speaker 1>part of three minute warning and then broke out on
<v Speaker 1>his own. And the problem was where the difference is. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>he acted somewhat similar in the headshaking and the the
<v Speaker 1>animalistic type of approach to his matches, but he also
<v Speaker 1>had a mouthpiece that did a very good job speaking
<v Speaker 1>on his behalf. That's a big deal, and so I
<v Speaker 1>think that I'm not asking for two to have a manager.
<v Speaker 1>But Umaga and Fatu are not equals. They had some
<v Speaker 1>key differences, and I think Umaga had the right formula.
<v Speaker 1>But all right, that's all I got to say. But everybody,
