Speaker 1: Hey, everyone, welcome back to Bachler Happy Hour. I'm Joe and I'm sure there, and we are going to recap this week's episode and later this week we are going to have jenn On who got the one on one date, almost got proposed to almost solease they teased it, so yeah, we're gonna have her on later this week. Can't wait to talk to her. And we are going to recap the.

00:00:23
Speaker 2: Episode episode twah, episode numarro treys.

00:00:29
Speaker 3: That's right, that's right. Do you know I spoke so many languages For.

00:00:32
Speaker 1: Some reason, I was thinking this is episode was episode.

00:00:34
Speaker 3: Two, So no, episode three.

00:00:36
Speaker 1: We're moving really wrong. And I took notes.

00:00:38
Speaker 3: Flying through the season.

00:00:40
Speaker 2: We've got our notes, we've got coffee and liquid IV, and we're ready to roll.

00:00:44
Speaker 1: Let's do it. Okay, So first thing we could talk about would be the Talent show, YEP pageant show, Talent show, palent pageant, same thing.

00:00:54
Speaker 2: I think it was like Bacheler Pageant because it had three different sections to it and we had the asking ladies from the Golden Bachelor coming host, which was April Susan Kathy shout out, Kathy, I love you, and Nancy, who we've met all of them, and they're all wonderful and it's exciting to see them on our screens again.

00:01:14
Speaker 1: I think we will probably see them on our screen forever. Apparently as long as as long as there is a Bachelor franchise, they will make an appearance in an episode.

00:01:23
Speaker 3: The appearances have been non stop.

00:01:25
Speaker 2: You know what's actually funny is I feel like I've seen Asking make more appearances than Gary at this point.

00:01:32
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:01:32
Speaker 2: Gary's like, I'm married, I'm settled down, ladies, take it away.

00:01:36
Speaker 1: He did it, He did his job, Okay, So what was what else? What went down on this?

00:01:42
Speaker 2: So there was the three sections. They had the PJ section which is like the swimsuit competition but for pjs, the Q and A which is like when they ask them like about world peace, and then the talent show. I feel like the talent part was the most like eventful, Like nothing was majorly stand out from the PJS or the Q and A.

00:02:01
Speaker 1: And Lexi won because she made out with them tots. But you said, you said up while we were watching it, work harder, work.

00:02:10
Speaker 3: Work smarter, not harder.

00:02:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, because a lot of the girls, and I can understand why they were feeling frustrated because like it's uncomfortable a lot of these dates and you're putting yourself out there and you're feeling a little embarrassed out of your comfort zone, like doing these silly tasks, but like that's kind of the name of the game, and they're trying to win Missus, right and Lexi, I would say, put little to no effort into her talent. But at the end of the day, work smarter, not harder, Like she didn't put in a lot of effort. She didn't really have to do anything that was like super embarrassing. Like there was no flips and tricks and singing and dancing.

00:02:50
Speaker 1: I knew she was getting.

00:02:51
Speaker 3: It was just a simple makeout. Yeah, and she crushed.

00:02:54
Speaker 1: She did he give her a rose? Or what did he do?

00:02:57
Speaker 3: She just won the Missus So she won the Missus right patch it.

00:03:01
Speaker 2: I don't think I think it's understandable why people were like, well, now I feel embarrassed because I put myself out there and I could have just made out with you or like not put myself out there, because it seems like I wouldn't have won it anyway. But at the end of the day, like it's just not that deep. It's a group day it maybe you're a little embarrassed or moving on.

00:03:17
Speaker 1: Agreed. The the number one thing I related to the entire episode was.

00:03:23
Speaker 3: The end, the end of the whole episode.

00:03:25
Speaker 1: And when Jesse was eating KFC and just.

00:03:27
Speaker 3: Well, that was the best part of the episode. That was actually so funny.

00:03:30
Speaker 1: Honestly, girls, you have to go home. That's like, it's just like it's it's just not that serious, you know, it's just.

00:03:37
Speaker 2: Just but it is when you're there, and at the moment, I mean, we can both test to like, when you're there, everything feels like a really big deal. But from our perspective and from all the viewers, it's like this is just a fun reality TV show about love, yeah, and Joey's journey, and you know, try to not take it too serious.

00:03:55
Speaker 1: It's crazy though, how Yeah, Like when you're in, when you're in it, it's like everything, and then when you step about, you're like, oh no.

00:04:02
Speaker 2: Yeah, it was really like everything when you're there, even afterwards, like well it's airing. I feel like it's easy to get so consumed by this journey in this world. I feel like the only person who like I'm like, yeah, okay, like you can get consumed by it, is like the lead, because it really is their journey find life. No, like, I think everyone has a right to get consumed by it, but like you got to do your best to kind of separate yourself and take a step back and be like, Okay, it's not that serious. It's a it's a fun pageant competition on a cool reality show about finding love.

00:04:39
Speaker 1: Where you're gonna look stupid, where you.

00:04:41
Speaker 3: Might look silly sometimes.

00:04:42
Speaker 2: But like I can understand the lead maybe being someone to like overthink it and take it really seriously because they have a lot of responsibility riding on their shoulders.

00:04:50
Speaker 1: Yeah, I would, I would. I would absolutely hate doing a talent show.

00:04:54
Speaker 3: It's okay, So what would your talent be? What would you do? Do you even know? I was thinking of that. I was like, I don't know what I would do.

00:04:59
Speaker 1: I don't know.

00:05:00
Speaker 2: I would copy Joan and the Golden Batch. I'd like write a cute poem. That's probably what I would do.

00:05:04
Speaker 1: Yeah, I would maybe do like I would be like a mime.

00:05:07
Speaker 3: A mime.

00:05:08
Speaker 1: Yeah like it star hut. Okay, let's move to the let's move to the night portion after party this Okay, So when when Joey the after party, when Joey like the Watching the show, you could really pick up on body language, especially with the lead, and you could tell when the lead is really into somebody and when he is.

00:05:35
Speaker 3: Just you know, more friendly.

00:05:37
Speaker 1: Yeah, just like yeah someone, Because at the end of the day, there's thirty something women and he's only going to really catch feelings for a few.

00:05:44
Speaker 3: The show would be an absolute failure.

00:05:46
Speaker 2: If you fell in love with all thirty yeah, that's a whole different kind of show.

00:05:50
Speaker 1: But I will say I think he really and this is the first time I think we're really seeing her. He really likes Kelsey Kelsey A Kelsey A.

00:05:59
Speaker 3: She's like slowly coming out of the woodwork.

00:06:02
Speaker 2: Like I remember her from Night Wine because she wore like a Tinkerbell green dress and I remember she did the voodoo all thing. But we haven't really seen that much of her. Like I was like, oh, maybe she's like a sleeper where like it's not really there, But this episode kind of revealed like there's definitely a connection there.

00:06:19
Speaker 3: I think he like said, I'm really I was.

00:06:21
Speaker 1: Gonna I was gonna say, every lead does it where they like reassure the person that they're into it at the beginning, like, Oh, I just want to let you know, like I'm really like, like I want you.

00:06:32
Speaker 2: Here, even though your eyes just got big, Like the lead is do like it's like, hey, I mean it, like I'm trying to tell you something.

00:06:41
Speaker 1: I know. I know I can't spend that much time with you right now, but I don't want you to leave. Don't freak out. Stay here. And I think she really likes him.

00:06:49
Speaker 2: They're cool together. They're cool together. You know who we didn't see a lot on this episode was Jess. I know that's kind of jumping out of order, but she.

00:06:59
Speaker 1: Just jump on an order.

00:07:01
Speaker 3: No, no, no, we're good.

00:07:02
Speaker 1: Okay. So then Medina tells Joey.

00:07:07
Speaker 3: She's so.

00:07:07
Speaker 1: She says, I was bullied. She doesn't say from who.

00:07:12
Speaker 3: Well, she says.

00:07:14
Speaker 2: She keeps trying to differentiate between saying she said to Joey like and he asked right like he asked her, So he kind of did put her in the position where she's like, well, yeah, I wasn't gonna bring this to you, but now I feel like I should be honest with you. I am, And she basically says, like I felt bullied because this person kept persistently asking me, like, who who told you that I said this?

00:07:42
Speaker 3: Who told you that I said this? Who told you that I said this?

00:07:46
Speaker 1: But then she's saying, but I'm not calling this person a bully, yes, which is confusing.

00:07:52
Speaker 3: Is confusing to me.

00:07:53
Speaker 2: I don't think there's a difference really if we're getting like technical with it between saying I felt bully, but that person's not a bully.

00:08:03
Speaker 1: If you felt bullied, then the person yeah, yeah, I yeah, so that I mean, we kind of knew this was going to get get brought up, but that it's like Medina, and then it's then she's out of it, like she says that she kind of steps away, and now it's basically again it's like Maria versus Sydney. So it's weird as a viewer. It's kind of unless we're missing something, which we may be. It is weird seeing Sidney even interject herself.

00:08:42
Speaker 2: In this argument totally like this should be this shouldn't exist, first of all, like this should never have become a.

00:08:50
Speaker 1: Same that last episode, Like this is the dumbest thing. I thought this was over and I kind of thought it.

00:08:55
Speaker 3: Was yes, and she is actively trying to put it to bet.

00:08:57
Speaker 2: It seems like like from what we're seeing, she keeps being like, let's put this to bed. I feel a little bad for Medina because I feel like this all started because she like opened up about something about her age, her vulnerability. She was vulnerable about, like feeling a little insecure about her age, and it's kind of blown up, and I feel like she keeps kind of getting dragged back into it in a way because then, like Sydney told Maria and then Medina had to confront it, and then Joe we heard something, so then Medina had to confront it. But I feel like there's like reluctance from Medina about being involved in it, whereas Sydney is like, get me right on in there. I have things to say and I want to be involved.

00:09:36
Speaker 1: Well, I want I want Medina to just kind of like step up when those two are arguing and be like, hey, listen, if you guys want to continue this fight, go for it. But I'm good, Yes, my shit is handled, So keep me out of this. Sidney. If you now have an issue with Maria, then that's.

00:09:56
Speaker 3: Fine, yeah, but keep my name out of your mouth, like, because.

00:10:00
Speaker 1: It's honestly it's confusing.

00:10:01
Speaker 2: It is confusing because it's like it feels like Sydney and Maria are the ones that have the problem, but it's about Medina.

00:10:11
Speaker 3: But it feels like Medina is like, I'm cool.

00:10:13
Speaker 2: Like you even see Maria and Medina have a chat the next day where she's like, yeah, I'm good, let's put the bed. I kind of wanted Medina to say to Joey, like, look, this is what went down. It's solved, it's been put to bed.

00:10:27
Speaker 3: Maybe she did.

00:10:28
Speaker 2: I mean, I'm sure we only saw like a like a snippet of their conversation, but it just has like snowballed out of control, and like Sydney and Maria are like going at it.

00:10:39
Speaker 1: I don't know, they just don't like each other.

00:10:41
Speaker 2: They don't like each other is really what it comes down to. I think like Sidney does not like Maria. I think past this Medina thing, and Maria is I think just mad at Sidney for being mad at her, which is fair because Maria's had to be on the defense now for.

00:10:56
Speaker 1: Like Sydney's throwing out accusations like you're you're attacking me, you're bullying me, all these accusations that we like we're not really seeing We're we're not really seeing it.

00:11:11
Speaker 2: No, we're seeing like conflict between the two of them and like confrontation and them arguing. But it doesn't feel like unprovoked, Like Sydney seems to be the one who's kind of provoking these conversations and it's just Sydney real like no one else is saying anything at this point in the show. Like I'd be curious to see if like other girls get involved or if this kind of stays between the two of them.

00:11:34
Speaker 1: I think there's just bored, so bored in the house, they're probably like, yeah, let this, let's just watch. Maybe maybe i'd like just keep this going because this is a source of entertainment. You know. We don't have our phones, no music, no TV, so.

00:11:48
Speaker 2: It's kind of we'll just sit and watch Marie and Sydney have it out every afternoon. It's like, what did you think of Sydney like getting up and leaving.

00:12:00
Speaker 1: It's hard for me to to really understand what, like what's going on. I just feel like it does seem like Sidney, it's it's it's just like what are you? So it's confusing because I don't know what she's so upset about. And I feel like when Maria is calling her out, like why do you feel this way? Yeah, she doesn't really explain it. She just more goes into defense mode and it's like and it won't even have the conversation.

00:12:32
Speaker 2: Yeah, Like so that's what she feels confident stepping up and addressing it with Maria because she's done it multiple times now where she's like you're like this, and you're doing this and you're being like this, and then Maria's like, Okay, back it up, like give me context, and then we just don't ever see Sydney do that. So it's just kind of hard because Maria is like really standing her ground in these confrontations and Sidney just it doesn't seem like there's.

00:12:57
Speaker 3: Like she has as much of it, didnts.

00:13:01
Speaker 2: I don't even like the word evidence, just like her arguments aren't as strong in these fights.

00:13:05
Speaker 1: At least not what we're seeing.

00:13:06
Speaker 3: At least not what we're seeing.

00:13:14
Speaker 1: Okay, so let's move to Jen. Jen gets a date, and Jen's going to be our guest later on this week, So make sure you stay tuned because we're going to talk more about this date. But what are your thoughts into him? Does he like her? How's it going?

00:13:32
Speaker 3: I like it.

00:13:33
Speaker 2: I think they're into each other. I think it was cute. Honestly, I was jealous of this date. This looked really.

00:13:37
Speaker 3: Fun and really cool, and I also wanted this date.

00:13:40
Speaker 1: I know you told me this.

00:13:42
Speaker 2: I know it's my dream. I've never been to Hawaiian, I've never been Surphy, and I want both of those things in my life.

00:13:47
Speaker 1: One day. Well, I surprise you at the Valentine's Day gift, but it wasn't Hawaii.

00:13:51
Speaker 2: That's okay. It was still very sweet. I'm excited for going to Miami. Yep, Joe was surprised me he booked a trip to Miami.

00:13:58
Speaker 1: Kind of, I am, you know, I was looking at Hawaii, but just with with our around time too tough.

00:14:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, we can only do four days, so it's perfection. But back to the show, not about not about our dating life. I think they're really cute.

00:14:13
Speaker 3: I don't know.

00:14:13
Speaker 2: There's not really too much to talk about in terms of like their day portion. It was just like a fun activity. They seemed very comfortable around each other, Like there was a shot of them on the surf cam, like the GoPro in the water where he like gave her a quick kiss and it just seemed very like natural and comfortable.

00:14:29
Speaker 3: Yeah, which was sweet.

00:14:31
Speaker 2: And then the night portion she opens up a kind of about her history with bad relationships and where she thinks that comes from and some of the family trauma that she's been through, which I think we can kind of save to unpack that further when she's on the show with us.

00:14:48
Speaker 1: Okay, so he's had yes and he's had so he's had two one on one dates.

00:14:53
Speaker 3: Yes, Daisy and Jen.

00:14:54
Speaker 1: Yeah. Who do you think you saw more of a connection with?

00:14:59
Speaker 3: Oh, that's it's actually hard, I.

00:15:01
Speaker 1: Would say, though, I would say pretty equal.

00:15:04
Speaker 2: I would say pretty equal. Yeah, both like strong first dates.

00:15:10
Speaker 3: I think.

00:15:12
Speaker 2: Daisy, I think there was a little bit more like we just saw more. I think of Daisy's date with him, to be honest, it felt longer. They were like talking more because it was like walking around and chatting and we were able to just see more like flirtatiousness.

00:15:29
Speaker 3: I think body language looking good. Really, what are you talking about? No way?

00:15:36
Speaker 1: Okay? And we see it every we see it every season. We see the lead really talk to somebody and like is like, really, like, don't leave here.

00:15:47
Speaker 3: I don't know.

00:15:47
Speaker 2: Maybe maybe you're right, but I think pretty like equal Daisy and Jenner pretty equal. I would say from what we saw, I would lean towards Daisy more for a connection, but I also think we saw more of that date, so it is like just a little bit hard to compare.

00:16:03
Speaker 1: Okay, So yeah, like you said, we're gonna talk more to John, let's jump to the tennis date, which you loved.

00:16:10
Speaker 3: I did. To be honest, this is like not my sense of humor.

00:16:14
Speaker 2: I was like, oh God, they're putting them in costumes, so goofy, so cheesy. But like I was cracking up, to be honest. I love it when they do interviews with multiple people. I always find it so fun, like when they had Daisy and Autumn people interview at once at once at the same time, like when they were having the pairs do interviews, and you kind of get to see like the relationships of the girls and the banter that they have, and I find it's a great opportunity to see their personality shine through more than you're able to typically like with a one person interview.

00:16:47
Speaker 3: I just thought it was so fun. I was cracking up and.

00:16:50
Speaker 1: You could tell that they're all having a good time.

00:16:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, one hundred percent. And like just seeing Joey like laugh at kelsey T's butter hat it was.

00:16:59
Speaker 1: So cute, likes her. I think he really likes on this date. I think he really likes Rachel. I forgot what it was about this date that made me think that, but I think he really It was just lingering from last episode, but he really likes Rachel.

00:17:16
Speaker 2: I think he likes Rachel too. I always like to pay attention to how and where the lead is sitting on these group dates because I find you can like tell by like the body language of like who they're leaning towards based on who's next to them.

00:17:33
Speaker 1: Was it he sitting next to Jesse, No, he.

00:17:36
Speaker 2: Was between Daisy and someone else, but he was like leaning into Daisy, like his leg was like pushed up against hers. And I know that's subtle, but like trust me when I say, like that shit means stuff.

00:17:49
Speaker 1: Do you think?

00:17:49
Speaker 2: So?

00:17:50
Speaker 3: I know? So I know.

00:17:51
Speaker 2: So maybe you're the one who's out here talking about body language.

00:17:57
Speaker 1: Yeah, you're probably right. You're probably right. I didn't know.

00:18:00
Speaker 2: Maybe I'm reading into things. Maybe maybe I'm reading into things too much.

00:18:04
Speaker 1: No, no, no, that's the point. I mean, if we're not going to read into everything every situation.

00:18:08
Speaker 3: Then then we're not doing our job.

00:18:10
Speaker 1: We wouldn't be able to even talk about this, you know.

00:18:12
Speaker 2: All right, Well, the fun of the date ends and we go to the night portion couple like stand out conversations. Rachel talks about like how she feels like Joey and body's a lot of qualities of her dad. And I will say, comparing the person you're dating to a family figure.

00:18:34
Speaker 3: Is always a risk.

00:18:35
Speaker 2: It is always a risk, and sometimes it's super freaking weird. But she did a good job of making it not weird, of making it very sweet. No, I didn't think it was weird at all. But I feel like we've seen it where it is weird.

00:18:48
Speaker 1: But if we were in Paradise and I was like talking to I was like, you remind me so much of my.

00:18:53
Speaker 3: Mom, that would be super weird. That would be super weird to me.

00:19:01
Speaker 2: But the way she said it of like you have qualities and embody, you know, value, like you have the same values and things like that as my dad.

00:19:11
Speaker 3: I thought that was really sweet.

00:19:13
Speaker 1: Let's just hope if she goes to the fantasy sweet she has a call him Poppy, oh my god.

00:19:20
Speaker 3: Daddy instead for that one.

00:19:22
Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, but I agree, I think that. I think that was a nice conversation.

00:19:27
Speaker 2: And then Daisy talked about her cochlear implant. I thought that was great, the way she was like, Hey, I dumped a lot on you last night. Do you have any questions? Yeah, I wanted Joe to ask her some questions about it. I think he seemed like still nervous to like ask her questions about it. But I wanted to be, like, you know, engage with her in that way because I feel like she was opening the floor for him to ask some questions.

00:19:53
Speaker 1: Yeah. I think in his defense, he's probably like, and I think a lot of people would do this. You're you're almost like in your head not to like or ask something that's just like stupid. But I would probably ask like the simplest, dumbest questions. I would probably I would. I would preface it by saying like, this is all gonna sound pretty stupid, but here we go. So Yeah, but I think they he's clearly spending time with her every time she's around.

00:20:26
Speaker 2: Yeah, And he did say, like, I was thinking about you today. I was wondering if like you could hear okay and you were able to participate. And I think she said something along lines of like I feel like I can help you become more comfortable with this, and like she initiated him, like why don't you touch it and let me show it to you? And I just thought, like, I don't know, it's just a nice moment.

00:20:52
Speaker 3: I agree, why are you laughing it?

00:20:54
Speaker 1: Just like, why don't you touch it? Let me show it to you.

00:20:56
Speaker 3: Okay, you're such a freaking perve.

00:21:00
Speaker 1: I don't know why. Okay, get pool party?

00:21:04
Speaker 2: No?

00:21:04
Speaker 3: Wait, you forgot the group date Rose?

00:21:06
Speaker 1: The group eight Rose? Yes?

00:21:07
Speaker 3: Who got the group date? Rose?

00:21:09
Speaker 2: Oh?

00:21:10
Speaker 3: Kelsey A you got the group date Rose?

00:21:11
Speaker 1: Elsie? I got the group date Rose? Yeah?

00:21:13
Speaker 2: And then Caitlin got it on the next day because she's talking about breaking the family curse.

00:21:19
Speaker 3: She's cool. I like her. She is like the radio chemist.

00:21:24
Speaker 1: Oh yes, yeah, I do like her. Oh yeah, we didn't talk about her. She reminds me of a Phoebe Buffet.

00:21:30
Speaker 2: She has a little bit of that same like quirkiness to her, for sure, Like she sat down and said something and you went, oh, my god, she's Phoebe Buffet, like, but I can't remember what she said.

00:21:40
Speaker 1: She's one of one of she's like one of the women on the show that when she sits down and has a conversation, I'm intrigued because like she's real.

00:21:52
Speaker 2: I know she's being real ndred percent and I feel like I just find her very interesting, And every time I've heard her speak, I'm intrigued in what she's saying.

00:22:01
Speaker 3: Like whenever she's on.

00:22:02
Speaker 2: The screen, I'm like very locked in because yeah, I just find her like very real and authentic and she's kind of yeah, she's got like a fun, quirky personality.

00:22:11
Speaker 1: Yeah cool, Okay. Next day, Jesse comes in and he announced there's no cocktail party, but wait, there's a pool party. And the pool party may maybe the most uneventful pool party I've ever seen. I don't seen anyone go in the pool.

00:22:31
Speaker 3: They need like a fluffer for these pool parties or something.

00:22:34
Speaker 1: I think. I like, I remember Zach season he had a fun pool party. I think Charity season they had a fun pool party. This one did not seem fun.

00:22:42
Speaker 2: Well. My thing too, is like okay, like I get you guys are bummed because a lot of you haven't gotten a chance to talk to him yet, but like sitting around is not going to change that. Like go take a shot and jump in the pool, especially if already talked to him, Like who cares if you're looking like a soaking wet rat, Like jump in the pool, go swimming. Well, I feel like that's like girls like I don't want to look like a drone rat because I like just was swimming in my mescarge down my face. My hair is wet before I talked to him. But like a he's gonna see you like that eventually if you end up together. B I don't know, like it's just like boring. I was like I was like depressed watching it and we had like KFC.

00:23:18
Speaker 3: It started off on such a good note.

00:23:19
Speaker 2: It was like, here's some buckets of fried chicken and French fries KF KFC party.

00:23:26
Speaker 1: Listen, KFC. If you're looking to do any more ads, I'm here.

00:23:30
Speaker 2: You know it would be so fun, would be like a KFC birthday party where like everyone has to dress up as like the KFC guy and you just order a bunch KFC and like everything's red and white and then you just have like the slogans everywhere.

00:23:44
Speaker 3: It's like, thing are looking good?

00:23:45
Speaker 1: Okay, that would be a fun birthday. Would the craziest if that If you surprised me with that, it's like I've got a big birthday, guy, and I would you could give me anything for my birthday. I thought one of those people would be upset if that's what you got me. I would be upset if everybody was dressed.

00:24:05
Speaker 3: Not for you, for the right type of person.

00:24:07
Speaker 2: Like have you seen on TikTok people will throw like Shrek parties where like everyone dresses up as like a Shrek character and everything's green.

00:24:13
Speaker 1: No, I haven't.

00:24:14
Speaker 3: You're on the wrong side of TikTok.

00:24:16
Speaker 2: Maybe maybe, but anyway, the pool already looked depressing.

00:24:21
Speaker 1: The whole lown two experience was great. If I get the KFC experience.

00:24:25
Speaker 2: You won't be You're not the target audience for that party, neither am I Just to be frank, I don't want that either, but it would be funny. I would like to attend if someone else was throwing I love a theme party.

00:24:42
Speaker 1: So now back to back to the drama. Before we wrap, we have more Sidney versus Maria. Yeah, Sydney brings it to Joey's attention. Joey then calls out Maria. She seems confused. He is like, you do seem confused, So I don't know what to believe. Again, I feel like we're missing something, but it's it all seems very strange.

00:25:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.

00:25:16
Speaker 1: I mean so Sydney, it does seem like this was like you know what, you know my thing, And I know it's a show, so it probably would never go down like this, but I want to. I just wanted to be like, Okay, I'd rather just have Joey walk over to the whole group of them and be like, all right, point to anyone, edwena talk what the fuck is going on? Explain it to me right now?

00:25:43
Speaker 2: But you don't like yeah, but like it doesn't work that way. Half the time, I didn't know what was going on in my own season, Like if it's like there's so many people, there's so much happening, like you're not privy to everything, Like I was learning about most of the drama watching my season back. Like if you pointed to me, I'd be like, first of all, I'm not a snitch. I'm not talking any shit about what's going out of the house. Second of all, I don't know, So even if I did know, like.

00:26:09
Speaker 1: I still don't think we even really know, like it all does it does seem weird, and I think I think after Joey's conversation with Maria, it it seems that he's leaning towards her.

00:26:26
Speaker 2: I think what it comes down to is it's always, and we say this every single season, the person who goes to the lead and says, hey, I don't like this girl, this girl sucks, we have a problem never ever ends up with the lead because they get so consumed by the drama. They get so consumed by their own negative emotions towards this other person that they lose sight of the.

00:26:51
Speaker 3: Goal, which is to get to know the lead for sure.

00:26:54
Speaker 2: And the lead basically goes, Okay, I'm mean, it's hard for me to progress this relationship now because you've made it about someone else.

00:27:06
Speaker 3: She did say like specifics that.

00:27:09
Speaker 2: Were interesting to me, where she said Maria called me embarrassing, weird and dumb, like she like whipped, she had like prepared what she was going to say, and then we never we never saw Maria say that to her. Doesn't mean it wasn't said, but we didn't see it, and we never saw Joey confront her about those things, which I would have liked, Like I would have liked to see him be like, did you call Sidney these words? So there's definitely like we're definitely not seeing the whole fight or like he did ask her and she said no, or he watched her and she said yes, or he didn't ask her at all.

00:27:40
Speaker 1: Like I mean, here's the thing. If Sidney's whatever her issue is with Maria, it's exactly what you said. Is she her best option would be to let it die and just try to get to know Joey.

00:27:58
Speaker 2: Yeah, and Sidney's like doesn't there's she's like I feel bad, but like she like really feels like she's done the right thing here, Like she feels you can tell she feels good about her decision. I will say Maria's convo with Joey made me a little sad because yes, Medina didn't call her a bully, but the word bully and bullying was used alongside like her essentially in relation to her. And I just feel like Maria, from what we see in these past yobisodes, has had to be like on the defense, like constantly defending herself, constantly like getting into these arguments that she's not initiating, that she probably doesn't want to be in. And she's been on the defense now for days against basically Sydney and Medina.

00:28:37
Speaker 1: Yeah, she basically she has to come home and be like, I am not a bully.

00:28:40
Speaker 3: Yeah, Like, and bully is a strong word.

00:28:42
Speaker 2: Like sometimes I do find, especially on the show, especially on The Bachelor, the word bully and bullying gets thrown around way too easily.

00:28:51
Speaker 1: Yeah, Like, you guys could not like each other and have had a few arguments.

00:28:54
Speaker 3: And that doesn't make her a bully.

00:28:56
Speaker 1: You mean you're a bully?

00:28:58
Speaker 2: Like from what we've seen of Maria, from everything we've heard from Medina and Sydney, and what they're saying is going down, Like she is not a bully, Like she's not.

00:29:05
Speaker 1: It doesn't seem that way.

00:29:06
Speaker 3: No, it does not seem that way.

00:29:07
Speaker 2: So it's like and for her to say, like, I've been bullied really badly and like being called a bully, like it's obviously a soft spot for her.

00:29:16
Speaker 3: So like that does suck.

00:29:17
Speaker 1: And then it's like, well, no shit, she's gonna go on the defense against you. If this is what you're saying, she doesn't even have a.

00:29:24
Speaker 2: Choice, Like she's like trying to squash. I've watched her try to squash like three times, and I think I don't know what it is like Sidney just doesn't seem to feel like it's squashed.

00:29:33
Speaker 1: I wonder if she would just say and then and then we'll wrap this because we got to go. But I wonder if she if she would just say to Joey, if Maria would just say, like, listen, I don't like Sydney, she doesn't like me. I'm not bullying her, but I want to get to know you, and I don't want to talk about this anymore. That's where I stand. You do it? Want with it?

00:30:00
Speaker 3: Yeah?

00:30:01
Speaker 1: I wonder how that would go.

00:30:03
Speaker 3: I wonder too. I also wonder that.

00:30:05
Speaker 1: Because then it's like, just go on and then let and be like, I can't control if Sydney keeps coming up to you and mentioning my name, I'm not going to even speak to her anymore. Yeah, And that's where I stink. Yeah, maybe I think that would be the best move.

00:30:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, But then he could also be like, so you don't want to like I have, But he has questions now that she has to she has to kind of answer because unfortunately she's been put in a position where she has to defend her character. Yeah, which always sucks. But Sidney keeps saying like I'm trying to squash I'm trying to squash it. But yet is still going on. It is never ending. I'm certain it's going to continue into next week because as we saw, they both stayed, They're both still here.

00:30:44
Speaker 3: It seems like he is a stronger connection with Maria see which which is honestly, I'm stoked. That's great news.

00:30:51
Speaker 1: Great news. I love.

00:30:52
Speaker 2: I love a two on one when like the two people on it like actually don't like each other.

00:30:55
Speaker 1: I No, I don't think there's ever been a two on one where both people laugh.

00:31:00
Speaker 3: Well, no, that's how a two on one works.

00:31:02
Speaker 2: Yeah, one of them goes home, Oh yeah, what have you never watched the show? One of them gets a roses one rose. Well, you know what, I will give you some slack there, because I feel like there's been a few two on ones where it's like I'm not going to hand out a rose on this, yeah, or like I'm going to give you a rose. But like I'm not sending the other person home. It's like, no, no, no, Joey, you get one rose, you give it to one of them, and you send the other one home.

00:31:28
Speaker 3: That's how this works.

00:31:29
Speaker 2: Okay, I want to see I want to see traditional two on one for I'm att unfold here.

00:31:32
Speaker 1: Yeah, but if on the date and they don't like each other, so yeah, but let's say everything got squashed on that two on one.

00:31:38
Speaker 3: Nothing's getting squashed with these two.

00:31:40
Speaker 1: Probably not ever, but if it did, and maybe Joey was like, well I only got one rose, but I may keep both of you. Happen.

00:31:50
Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess it could happen. I guess it could happen. Yeah.

00:31:53
Speaker 2: So we saw Jen, Kelsey A and Caitlyn got roses this week, and the people we saw go home where Evelyn Star and Carissa. I feel like we literally never saw Star.

00:32:07
Speaker 1: You you say, I feel like we saw a Star way more than we saw Carissa.

00:32:12
Speaker 3: You think, I know.

00:32:13
Speaker 2: So I feel like we saw chrisa more than we saw Star.

00:32:16
Speaker 1: I don't. I don't think so.

00:32:17
Speaker 3: Either way, we didn't see either of them very much.

00:32:20
Speaker 2: Evelyn we did see, but unfortunately for her, it was jumping over the table and then crying was really the only time we saw Yeah, her girl Evelyn. Yeah, wishing her the best her exit interview actually kind of exit interviews always like pull in my heart strings.

00:32:38
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, but she'll you know, she'll be okay. Joey wasn't Joey was the guy for her. I mean, the odds of it are are not the best.

00:32:49
Speaker 3: Yeah, you've got like one and thirty two chants.

00:32:51
Speaker 1: But we'll see I mean maybe maybe we see her in paradise, but yeah, I think that wraps it. And make sure you tune in later this week because we have jen on we're gonna talk to her, and then yes, stay tuned a happy hour because we are gonna break down every episode every week and I can't wait till next week to talk about the two on one.

00:33:11
Speaker 3: And don't forget to subscribe.
