Speaker 1: What's up, everybody. Welcome to another episode of Batchelor Happy Hour. We are so excited to be back together. Well, we're not technically together, Becca, because I'm still in Miami, but we'll get there. We'll get there. I wish I was staring at your face right now, but your voice will have to do. I'm reaching out to you in spirit, but nonetheless, it will not take away from the great podcast that we are going to have today. We hope that your week is off to a great start, and we are so ready to bring you all the latest in batch the world. Yes, welcome back listeners. As Rachel mentioned, we are so excited because we have quite a lot to dive into today. We saw so much go down in last night's episode and so we can't wait to share it here first on the only official Bachelor podcast, Happy Hour. We're giving you all of our insights, our exclusives, our opinions. So let's get started. Wait, Barca, before we get started, I feel like we're only on episode three, and I feel like we've been watching this show for weeks. So much has gone down in the past three episodes. Then I think I've seen in one full season. I think Peter has had more drama in just these first couple of weeks than I had in my entire goal at bachelorette. Seriously, what is the theme? What would you say is the theme so far for this season? Oh? If I had to be honest, I just think bullshit drama. There's just there's so much going on between these girls, and so much cattiness and fighting. But oh but over what? Like over a champagne bottle, over someone's opinion, like over things that don't seem that important. No, no, it's I have a couple of phrases. Um, maybe the theme could be genuine and real. Maybe the theme could be batch shit crazy and some rats. That that is the theme right there, Natasha said the best cats and rats. Actually, Rachel, there are some cats and rats. I could look to her say that all day. I think after each episode, when we you know, kind of tear it apart, we need to go through instead of like the highlights and the lowlights and the rose and the thorn, we need to say who was our cat and who was the rat of each episode? Oh? I love that. Basically, in the words of Hannah Anne, this season so far has been a Fidasco. Okay. Also, we are going Rachel I talked about this before we got started. We need to start a vocabulary bank of all of the words gone wrong so far, So say that one again, reach Fidasco. That was brought to you by Hannah Ann Fidasco. We also heard last night. I don't know if anyone else caught it. I definitely did, and Garrett did. And Garrett wasn't even paying attention and he called this one out. But I believe our girl Kiara. Instead of saying linger ray like the French, it was lingaree. So my gosh, if anyone wants to put their own own fund spen on words, please do because we're starting this vocab bank, please don't. Unfortunately, we're gonna have a plethora of them. Okay. Speaking of a word that we're hearing over and over again, you know, usually in Bachelor World there's certain phrases right like journey and feels like home and now the new one is bully, and usually there's wine and cheers. But the word we've heard over and over again so far is champagne. And yeah, we get our fill of it again this week as it continues over from last episode. Into this episode, we're still talking about champagne Gate. So, Rachel, we've talked about this, as you said last week a little bit. I will say again, I love champagne. I take it very seriously. This drama though around a bottle, you know, and you've talked about, Rachel, we don't want objects to be like the source of an entire season. But this, this bottle of champagne, is still taking over and it seems like just ruining the girl's experience in the mansion. Yeah, it's ridiculous. Did Hannah Anne still the bottle? The world may never know, you know, But Hannah Ann says she didn't, So I'm gonna take her word. I'm I'm gonna take her word for it. We know how the show works. Of course, we saw both setups for the different bottles. It's an easy mistake. I think definitely it was all blown out of proportion, especially when we see Kelsey and Hannah Anne sit down in this week's episode to hash it out, and Kelsey, you know, she's getting all upset, but then she goes, I don't even like champagne that much, Like right, Okay, then we should have just nipped it in the butt. Last week, So you don't even know what good champagne tastes like. You don't even know what that That's probably what she was more mad about is that it was an expensive bottle, and many people DMed us and told us that it was dumb. So thank for that. That is a very expensive bottle of champagne and whatever. Anyways, they didn't seem to come to some kind of conclusion. I thought they would come to a conclusion kind of like agree to disagree, and they still didn't. They just went around in circles. The way that we're focusing so much on this, I feel like one of the two of them it's going to be the next Bachelorette. And the reason I say this is because the way things are going, it seems to be whoever is the lead has this whole theme around them, right, some inanimate object. Remember I keep saying, I hope that we don't focus on that. Well, here we are with the champagne bottle. So can't you just see that whoever's the bachelorette, it's like, oh, she'll be popping off this season. She doesn't pop bottles, or she pops bottles now, she doesn't buy bottles you know what I mean. Bottles. Yeah, like I could see it already be a whole thing. You heard it here first, Rachel. You've had a lot of good ideas, and I hope that you're wrong, and I'm wrong too. I don't want to see either one of them as a bachelor atte personally, but you know, I think we do need to touch though on the whole bullying aspect and rage. We'd discussed this a bit last week too, where Hannah Anne had mentioned to Peter that she felt like she was bullied. Kelsey said no. Kelsey made a good point when they sat down this week to talk about it. Kelsey said, you know, I said I was rash. I called you a few names, which yes, I was in the wrong to do, but I was angry in that moment. I don't think what Kelsey was doing was bullying. She was upset. We've all been angry at points in time, We've all said things that we regret. But Kelsey didn't keep it going. It wasn't like it was this continuous, ongoing bullying situation where Hannah Anne like didn't feel safe or felt threatened. And so that's something that and I think you said it last week, like, we don't want to continue to see this word just being thrown around lightly. Yeah, just flippantly using this heavy word bully not Elsee hasn't been right about much on the show so far, but one thing that she was right about is that word carries a lot of weight and it is damaging and I am sorry. I don't care who you are. When you use it on this show. There is intent and there is a malicious intent behind it. When you use it, it's almost like a verbal weapon. So I hope we don't see it used again. I hope that what Kelsey said to Hannah and really resonated, you know, because she owned it. She said I was. She might not says she was wrong, but she definitely acknowledged that she got angry, she got upset, she cursed. Those were not the right things to do, are the right ways to handle that situation, But it didn't amount to bullying, right, I agree? All right? So this week we see another one on one day, this time with Victoria pe No surprise there. You could kind of tell that Peter was filling her, and we've seen a bit of her. We've in these three weeks, we've seen her get a lot of TV times, so I wasn't surprised that she got that date. What did you think about it? I felt like you would enjoy this date, But I, Rachel, you know what, I agree? I was watching it and I okay. For me personally, I love the low key dates where you can do something with your person that feels comfortable, that it's not all of this glitz and glam and crazy cool things, because that's not real life. And so I loved this date because, as Peter had said, he loves to dance. He goes there with his friends. It just seemed chill, but they still had time to interact and have those special moments together where you know, something shiny wasn't taking away from their alone time together. I think Peter is very much so into Victoria Pete and I started to see it on the first group date she was on when she got sick and he kind of went there to comfort her. But after that he seems to really pick up on little things that she says. For instance, like the first time he met her, she had told him she had never received flowers from anyone, and no one has ever given her a rose, and so he makes it a point to go out of his way pull roses from a wall give them to her, and so he's definitely feeling her. And I think I think that one I kind of wrote her off. I didn't think that it was going to be as a I don't think the traction was there at first for what I was seeing, But now I think she definitely is a strong contender in this and he he's um fallen hard for Victoria P. Yeah, I feel like it's a little, it's a lot. It's a lot too early, So I'll back it up and say I agree with you. I actually thought this date was a lot of fun. I am a closet nineties country music fan and I'm actually I have a mean two step and I will it's what we do, it's all we do in Texas. So I actually loved line dancing and I loved to two step, so I was jealous of the state. I thought this was a really good way to get to know somebody and there it's to be comfortable and not a lot of pressure, and like you said, it was real, like this is actually something that you could do on a Friday or Saturday night, as opposed to like going up in a hot air balloon, you know, across Europe or something like that. You know what I meant, real life. So I did enjoy that. I also thought it was it benefited Peter because let's just be honest, Peter isn't the best dancer, and I think he says that himself, So this was a way for him to really shine and show off his moves and moves and oh my gosh, let me not be a bachelor contestant. His moves, his moves what word I just said just a second ago. You know what I like about Peter, though, is he knows what he's good at, and he knows what he's not good at. And even if you're not a great dancer, he still knows how to like loop, swoop and pull a lady to make her feel special and and we love that, which I love. You love a smooth dance, Like you don't need to know how to have the best moves and like have the spotlight on you. But if you can like dip me and spin me around and pull them back in and I can feel comfortable with you, that's all that matters. And I think he was doing that with her very very well. Yeah, there's a man who can sing, a man who can dance? What else? What? There's just certain things that it's just like man like hook like oh yeah yeah, a man they can cook back in the Dabused Girl, he could sing the panties off me. That's what we used to say. What about a man who can crack a good back? I think that's okay, that's all right. I guess Brian's moves. No, he's good with his hands. A man that's good with his hands, that's what that is. Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, got me all right. So we went from a really light date and then things got really heavy, as they typically do in the nighttime portion. It's like when the night falls and things get dark everything, Yes, they do. Freaks come out at night, right, and so do the secrets and Batchelor world. And with her watching her story, is she's telling it to Peter, you can tell that it's very uncomfortable. It's hard, and I get that, especially to tell someone that on your own is one thing, but to have to do it in front of all of the cameras and this full team of people around you, and to know that the entire world is going to be watching this and hearing your story is very, very difficult, and um, you kind of see the uncomfortableness that she's going through. UM, but it does humanize her, as you said, and it makes her feel much more I think, relatable, Like you know, there's so much more going on, and you are that he I think he mentioned that she seems like she is a caretaker, cares a lot, and that's kind of what led into her expressing her past um, and so I think those moments are very special. I like the Toria Pee, I really, like I said, I really enjoyed hearing her story. However, I don't think she shared too much because, like I said, I appreciate when contestants when we get to know them deeper. But I don't think she's a front runner. I mean, I think she'll go far, but I don't think that she's making it to the I don't think she's top top four, No, no hometowns in her future. I don't even know about hometown. If she is, she's number four. Well, Red, you said last week you think she's going to crack. Well, we saw a little bit of it in this episode. I think that she's so optimistic, and so is Peter, and so I think they both tap into that and it works really well for them. But she's a little too much in the sense of not sharing her story. But did you listen to how she was talking. I mean, you can't tell me that after that date, and I'm talking the daytime portion, she was already calling herself Victoria Webber in her head. I mean, it was just she's already taken it to another level, Like I'm pretty sure if you had pushed her just a little bit, she would have said, I love you. It's almost like the way that she talks about Peter and he's there to She's never been treated like this before, and she's just so longing and needy for that that I think that it's almost like suffocating. I think right now it's okay, but as the time goes on, I think it's just going to be just a little too much. And she's almost looking at Peter like a savior. Well, and that's what I think it is. I think she's mentioned multiple times that she's never felt worthy. She uses that word multiple times, like she doesn't feel worthy, she doesn't think that she deserves that type of love, And I honestly think, I mean, I don't know her background in dating, but I think that he's the first guy to make her feel that self worth. And I think falling in love and having these feelings for someone it's a lot. And you know, we've all had the crushes and the falling for someone, and it's like this really special, magical feeling. And I think it's exaggerated for her because she's never had anyone quite like Peter before. And I think she knows, Okay, Peter's the ultimate catch, like he's everything. He is the bachelor, like he's this top man and he's giving me this attention and he's telling me I am worthy and I deserve all these things. And I think that that's amplifying her feelings tenfold in this regard, I guess, And that's my thing, is like, but you don't really know Peter, and so you only know what you've seen of him on TV. And I'm not taking away from him. He's a great guy. At this point in week three, we know Peter better than she does. And so I feel like, when you say I'm not worthy and I've never been treated like this, are you saying you never received a detention from a man who's on TV and has been adored by all these ways. I guess it's just it's just a lot, and it's a little too much for me. And I think that her optimism is going to be a gift and a curse. And I think right now it works, and I think in the long run, it's just going to be a little too much. It's just a little too heavy. Well, you you made a good point a little bit ago. You said you think she looks at him like he is her savior. And I wonder if because of her background and having to worry about her mom and not having a father figure and having to take care of herself and her sister, I wonder if she looks at Peter as like not a way out, because I don't think it's a way out. I think it's just as a oh my gosh, he can take me away from that and now all of our dreams come true and he can be the one to help me out of that darkness and, like you said, save her in a sense. Yeah, it's a lot. She's a lot, but I like her. But I like her, Okay. So they have a good one on one date. He gives her the rose, no surprises there. I think she'll go far. I just don't think that she's missus Webber. And honestly, I don't know if I see any missus Webber's in the crowd as of yet. I need to keep watching to be more confident in that. So we have the group date and we got our girl, Demi, who again no surprise, makes a big, old loud entrance when she comes into the mansion. Got a love her. I didn't expect anything less from her. To be honest, what do you think about people constantly saying bitches? I feel like that's a played out term. I fack bitches. What's up? Bitches? It's not funny. Just because you add a bitch at the end of your sentence is not making personally. I have such an issue with that word. And tell I know in Demi's regard, she meant it to be lighthearted. You know, she's playing it up for these girls and for the cameras. I hate when I hear another woman call someone a bitch. I hate it. I cannot stand it. I think it is so degrading in any regard. I don't I don't think. I don't even think people think about it at this point in life, because it's thrown around so much, but I cannot stand it. It doesn't bother me. The word doesn't bother me. I just think that it's not as funny as people try to make it. So, I like Hannah said it when she came back, Danny said it when she came into the house, Like it's the word doesn't bother me. I use the word, but I think when I guess, I get like a little like it's not funny when you say it, just because like hey, hey, Becca, hey bitch, it's not funny. I just it's so overused and it's you know, and maybe this is just me having like a weird pet peeve. I mean, I definitely can't stand it when a girl is talking about another girl in a negative light, like I saw it on Paradise with some girls calling other girls stupid bitches. It makes me cringe in this who said that on Paradise? Klin to what did Kalen say it about? Everybody? Tassia? Probably I don't know someone. Yeah, It's just it irks me to no end because I think we have so much vocabulary and so many words and so much education that people just resort to that to did bitch because it's what people use. And I just there's so much more that we can choose to say and and then know again, let me say, like, I'm not calling Demi out because I think she really meant to go in fun light hearted, like let's get these girls together, like I'm starting my girl gang. We're gonna go pillow fight. But I just, yeah, like you said, it's not funny. It's not funny to me. No. Yeah, I mean, I like I say the word. I just think it's overused. Um okay. But so this is what I found interesting with Demmy came back while she comes in with these two random girls that I'm like, who are these people? And I see I'm painting killer? Yeah, I was like what they didn't make any sense for that. But what I found the most interesting is that the girls went upstairs, and so did the cameras. So little back to here. And I don't know if everybody knows this, the cameras never come upstairs. Just think about all the times that you've watched Bachelor's season, Bachelorette season. You don't see the cameras upstairs, and technically they never really do. That's like our private area, and that's where we changed, we get ready. Something serious has to really be going on for them to come up there. I found it so interesting that they came up through them when they were asleep. I mean, I personally either sleep in the nude or half nude. So I really hope that they got some kind of warning before the cameras rolled up there, and so did Killer and Champagne, because I wouldn't have been thrown pillows. I would have been thrown fists there. I feel like there had to I said, have been some warning. I mean, and those cameras aren't quiet, so they probably heard something. But yeah, I sleep in my underwear in sports where I My mom would throw a fit if that was shown on TV. But let me ask you this, Rachel. When you were sleeping in the mansion, where was your bed? What room were you in? So I was in the room oh wait, both those have balconies. I was in the room that connected to the smaller room, not by the big bathroom. So it was the yellow room, I think is what we called it. And we had seven bunk beds and I was the one that didn't have a bunk, so I had my own bed. Who but no, you would think that would be the case, but because you didn't have a bed on top of it, everybody put all of their stuff on my bed because it was just more convenient. No, but I liked the girls in the other room better, and so I ended up I had this basket that I would carry around like I would walk around because remember the cameras can't come up there, So I walk around like topless. I carry this basket and I'd have all my stuff in it, and I would go from room to room. I don't ask me what I was doing. And anyways, I would sleep in the other room where all my friends were, and so like I just waited for one girl to go home and took her. Yeah, yeah, so I was in there's three bedrooms. For anyone who doesn't know, there's three bedrooms. There's the master and then two smaller ones, all with lovely bunk beds that you saw David fallout of last season. Then now have the wood panelings on. But I was like, when you walk into the master bedroom, directly straight in front of you the bottom bunk, so it was right next to like the door to go to the balcony, and Garrett was also in that same bunk and so we always call it the lucky bunk, and so we were trying to see Garrett. That's the only thing Garrett paid attention to do yesterday. He was like, who's in our bunk? Who's in our lucky bunk? Because that's going to be the winner. And I'm like, I don't know. So I wanted to see if you were in that one because maybe there's not some truth behind it. But no, but I think Brian's d in the same room that I stayed in. Okay, that's another thing, too, right. I feel like I would always say to the guys, which room are you in? Who are you room with? Who are you cool with? Anyways? Okay, I'm digressing back to the group date, back to the back to the day, so the pillow fight. So this looks like a fun date I properly, I mean, no better, nobody better to host it than Demi. Of course we saw Fred Willard. What has Fred been on? Because we clearly have a fatuation with with Fred. I don't know him past the dad on The Grandpa Modern Family. He is on Best in Show, which is the Dog Like the Dog Show movie, which I actually watched because he was on Ari season on the dog date hosting it, and I had no idea who he wants? Was he so you might have been the trendsetter? Was he the maybe he was the first on your Day? That was his first, I think appearance on the Bachelor, and then he hosted uh dodgeball date on my season and then we've just seen them since I do like like, I like his corny kind of jokes. He's he's he is, it's you. Yeah. So we see our friend Fred, friend of the show Fred, and the girls have to duke it out with feathers, pillows, feathers in a ring and lingerie. Some people or weren't fortunate. Wait wait, I'm sorry Becca er lingery, lingery or moo moo moo moos. I would have wanted to be the girl in the moo moo. I'm just saying really only because I like to be warm. I would have definitely wanted the lingery, and I because I would have just because I don't think I think people think I would have loved this type of date. I wouldn't have gone in their guns ablazing because I would have been thinking about it too much. You know, you don't want it too aggressive. So I definitely would have been like in the playing with the feathers, tossing them over me, like trying to make it as sexy as possible. God, watching this date just made my nose itch. I was watching in bed, cringing, looking at all of the feathers come out, and I'm like, oh, how is no one sneezing on this date? Okay? So on this group day we had Aleia, Kelly, Kiara, Sarah, Savannah, She and Sydney and Tammy. So who were you impressed by and who were you not or who any surprises? Becca? Well, I will say talking to Demi last week, she she hinted several times that Sidney was in it to win it. She was going for blood, and so I had my eye in her. I was watching her. I thought, I'm trying to think who fought who? So it was I well, I actually was shocked at what Dima. Remember, Demmi was like Sydney Sydney, but I was like Alio seemed to be more tough than Sydney. I mean, yeah, Sidney pulled her hair, but they were like going at it, throwing each other down. Tammy threw somebody out the ring got disqualified. I mean I wanted to see more of Tammy because she she got squalified, which I was kind of bugged because I think she was up first, which sucked. I couldn't tell how you won the fight, Like there was no tap out, there was, there was a disqualification, there was it were recounting feathers, were recounting hits because Alaia just kind of sat on Sydney and they were like, she's the winner. So I wasn't really confused. Well, Rachel, you bring up a good point, like, how did somebody technically when I thought after that last match between Sydney and Alia that Sydney would have won, Like, yes, Alia sat on her, but Sydney was getting into more hits yep. And you know what, that was the beginning of the end for Alia. Maybe if Sydney had won, Alaia would still be with us. Oh man, I don't know, And I know we'll get into that later, but I'm just saying at this point, we've all seen episode three. We know how it ends. But it was really kind of like the knell in the coffin for Sydney, I mean for Alia in Sydney's eyes. Well, and I think it kind of pushed Sydney over the edge to that not the breaking point, but to the point where she's like, I just gotta say something to someone, and yeah, Alaia, I mean lah, maybe we've learned to not sit on people. So Leiah wins and we get to the nighttime part. I hope this was editing. But and let me also say something. We get a lot of messages DMS comments about oh, Rachel, Becca, you should know better because you know how production is and you know that things are edited and spliced up. No, we don't know. And so what I'm I don't have a whole lot of examples of that happening during my season Bachelor or Bachelorette. So I'm not What I'm not gonna do when we give our opinion in our recaps of these shows and we're talking about it is comment on what I think happened, how I think it played out. I'm only going to speak on what I actually see, And then I think we interject our own personal experiences, like do you get a lot of that backguard people like you should know better than that, especially with the Hannah Peter conversation. I don't know, I don't know, I don't know what happened. I'm not going to say things were spliced and dice, because you know what wasn't spliced and dice. Those tears coming out of Hannah's eyes, that mascara running down her face, that was real. Yeah, those are the real emotions. And that's the number one I question I get is is it fake? Like? Is it all editing? Like here's the thing. You can put things together, but the conversations that you're having are real. Like, yes, at times, production will interject and be like, Okay, ask a question around this scenario or talk about this whatever it might be. So it's like you're you're maneuvered in a way to have certain conversations. And so, I mean, obviously with the Johanah and Peter thing, I'm sure they were told to talk about everything that was going down since their breakup had happened. But in this and Richild, are you leaning towards the conversation when Sydney is standing there and asking the lay about the pageants and yeah, you were coached and yeah I think that you, you know, could never fully be yourself and be honest and true. That's the conversation you're yeah, okay, yes, this is a moment where I hope it was editing because she's standing over her and then says, do you work? I said, oh, okay, Sydney, we're just gonna come right out the gate with it. We do you work? I was like, we're not gonna lead up into it. You're not gonna talk about what got you to this place, just boom bam in your face. Do you work? And she's like, yeah, I have three jobs? See me the lawyer and me is like okay, and what are they? I would have a follow up question, what are your three? John? Because being on the show does that count as one? And neither does? The title is two? So what what one? Two? Three? What are they? I go ahead? Did Alaia when she was in pageants? Did she was? She wasn't Miss Usa? Like, how far did she get? I don't think Miss Usa would ever come on this show. So let me just let me do this impressives. She's missed Texas, Miss I'm already so she's representing my great state. Yeah, she's missed Texas. Um so yeah. So we see this tiff between Sydney and Alia, and what really shocked me was at the beginning of this episode, Sydney sitting on the couch with Victoria f and she's they're basically saying how they did not like that Hannah Anne went to Peter and brought drama to him, and they both are kind of on the same page agreeing with that. Well, I guess they got short term memory, because here's Sydney now doing the exact same thing to Peter. So we see Sydney and she talks to Peter and she's just like, people aren't being real again another trigger word. Of course, he's gonna wonder who it is, so he pulls a Leia brings her in. It's like, you know, according to her, as she has already admitted to everybody, she knows all the right things to say. She knows yeah, or her not to answer a question direct yea, how not to offense someone. And you know, I was laughing when I was watching this because I said, well, let me tell you what you don't know is how to be self aware. You are literally admitting to people that you know how to play people, you know how to manipulate, because that's manipulative, and you're literally saying this on a show where you're supposed to be being your true self. So this person can get to know you, but you don't have enough self awareness to realize that. Like when they had her mike and the camera wasn't on her and she was just talking like, oh, people think I'm this, but I'm nasty, I was like, you go away, please. I just I just found it so interesting that she's so knows how to be one way, but then clearly isn't aware of what she's doing on the other foot. But what I found most interesting when she was talking to Peter is that she's saying all these things and she's defending herself and then she attempts to cry. And let me tell you something, Becca, I lean all the way in to see if I saw a tear, a bit of moisture, anything, anything coming out of that girl's eyes. She was working so hard for that one tear, and it never show it never never showed up. I think, I mean there, It was definitely foreshadowing. When I was watching the conversation with Sidney and Leia go down before Peter got involved, I was like, you know, something's going to happen where Alias saying all these things where she can dodge a question or not answer something that she doesn't want to return it on. I was like, this is going to be played out very very shortly. I think throughout that entire cocktail party that the thing that stood out to me is the fact that Peter not only brought it to the girl's attention before he gave out that rose, but he called out the girls like he I was surprised that he actually said, Hey, Sydney, can't you tell me who you're talking about? Because I've been watching the show for years and I've seen people tell the lead certain things, or tell the lead about drama that's going down, but I've never seen the lead call it out in the group of girls and call out specific individuals in that setting. Now, please correct me if I'm wrong. But when Peter said Sydney's name, tell me who you're thinking, I was like, oh lord, he's doing this, like he's going all in and wants to figure it out here and there, and like, I will say, props to him for just confronting everyone and being like, hey, look, I'm here to find love and I'm going to put it all on the table and call out who I need to call out. But I haven't seen that before. I loved it, he said cut the shit, Sydney. What does she say? And I was like, great, great, let's of course there was no resolution. I think what I also found interesting is I did not realize how into Leah Peter was. I didn't even realize she was a top girl. I think my only recollection of her is that she was helping Kelsey reapply her makeup after the Champagne fidasco. And I set that on purpose, I said, I thought Leo went home, oh thank you and tell this thank you, so thank you. No, So I was shocked when he was like, I'm so drawn to you, I'm so into you. I was like, where are Peter? Are we talking about the say? And I guess we just missed something there. Okay, good, I've got we're on the same pat. Can we talk about Alaia? So moving on from the cocktail party into the next day, into the group the what is it? The pool party? Into the pool party? Now. When I was watching Alaiah, I was laying in bed with Garrett and I kept like slapping his arm, being like, oh my gosh, I'm having flashbacks because does Alaiah remind anyone of anyone on Aria season? Anyone at all? That's such a case. Are you talking about looks? Are you talking about the way she acts with let me let me rephrase this. Alia gives me in regards to her voice, Crystal vibes because if you notice, and they even showed parts of this, when people would come around in Alia's voice would raise like five octaves. That is how Crystal was living in the house, and she when the cameras were on, her voice would change. Her pitch would go up. When Aria was around, she would kind of turn it on and get more bubbly. And that's exactly what we see a Leah do. Yeah, no, no, no, no, definitely Crystal vibes, not not in the way she acts or looks, but yes, in the voice. One hundred. But you've touched on a very interesting point. Can we talk about the Octus because I would tell you something, the franchise better win an Emmy this season. And I'm gonna tell you what they are working hard for that Emmy between last whatever whatever season Analyze was on, was that season with the whole what was a Dog? She was scared of? The reenactmus was hilarious. She had the trauma and the bumper card. Trauma and the bumper card. This I'm expecting to see that on every season. We've already seen it with the teacup ride with Victoria Peyton, the Champagne Gay. The way that was put together, we'll never know how it really played out was amazing. And now when they said well, when they're talking to Peter and someone says, well, her voice seems to change when the cameras come around and the camera immediately goes to her turning around to someone the tapster and says hi, and I said, give this show on, Emmy, give it to him. They are working too hard and production with this well, Peter Rachel. Remember when we sat down with Peter a couple of weeks ago, he said, He's like, week after week there was always something. There was always some sort of drama that was blown way out of proportion. He's like, I could never just like enjoy everything. There was always something there. And I mean we have seen it week after week so far. Yeah, and next week looks the same. I will say that when Sydney, when Sydney, the timing of Sydney talking about Aleia, I thought Sydney was just being jealous because she didn't win. Maybe looked at Alia as a threat But when I saw when he came to the party that they had at the house. When Peter came there and girl after girl was saying, this is how Alia is, I thought, Wow, Sidney really was, you know, telling the truth. So kudos to her. I wouldn't have been the girl to do that, but kudos for her for speaking out when it seemed like the other girls were afraid to do that. So who So what did shock me though, was when Victoria Pee had her moment with Peter at the Daytime party and she tells him that she and Aleiah have a connection. I had no idea. I knew. I knew Victoria was a paget girl, but they're Victoria Pee. But they're just so many of them these days. You can't keep tracks right and the fact, and I don't know how the pageant world works because I've never been in one. I definitely would never go far if I was in one. But I don't know how close knit it is. I mean, is it the thing where everyone knows everyone and new interacts somehow? I mean from what Victoria was saying, they you know, they knew each other. They had interacted maybe for a total of three hours throughout that entire stint. Now on the flip side, Alia says that they were close, that they were friends, that they were allies. So again there's more of the story that like, will we ever actually know the truth? I feel like there's all these like little detective moments throughout this season where I'm like, I want to know more and we'll never get it. Well, who do you think is telling the truth? Do you think that Victoria Pee or Alia is telling the truth about their friendship and kind of how they knew each other prior to the show. Well, in this regard, I kind of leaned towards Victoria p just because just because of the fact that you see in a clip after Victoria Pe talks to Peter when she says, you know, I've known her for maybe I've spent maybe a handful of three hours collectively with her. Then Aleiah goes and I think it might have been after she was sent home, to be honest, but Alia says, we were friends, we were allies. But you don't tell a friend, Hey, pretend you don't know me prior to going on the show. If my friend was on the show, would be like, this is my best you were here together and We've seen seasons where people know each other, where there's some sort of connection and so on Alaia's mind when she says, well, I was afraid that we wouldn't be on be able to be casted on the show, or she what is the word that she used that we wouldn't be that we would be disqualified? She kept seeing disqualified if we knew each other. I'm like, first of all, this isn't a game. This isn't a pageant that you are trying to win or get to the next round in you you don't get disqualified, you get sent home because this guy doesn't have feelings for you. And so for her to pair that word with then saying, oh, Victoria p and I were friends and allies, then why would you tell her not to pretend that she knew you? That? Okay, two didn't add up to me. Two things, two reasons where I think these are my thoughts. One, she victor or a Pee knows something about her that she doesn't want to get out. You know she maybe I'm pretty sure she probably saw the whole Hannah Kalin things. She went to come on a clean slate. She didn't. Maybe there's just something there that we don't know. Or two, she just didn't want that whole storyline, right, it's been told, we've seen it before. The two Paget girls come on the season, they don't get along. But here's my thing, if you don't feed the beast, it's not going to come out. So if you, if you, if they were to go on and be like, yeah, you know, we were both in pageants. We knew each other briefly, not all that well, and you don't feed into it and play it up and quite frankly say like, that's not part of my storyline. It doesn't make any sense to talk to Peter about it. Then it's kind of done. The more you feed it and talk about it, the more it's going to be blown up a proportion, which is then what we saw. Yeah, I don't feel like she fed into it. The problem is is the timing of that information, coupled with everything else. If that had come out and Sydney had never said anything, I think he would have accepted her truth of Oh I didn't I wanted the chance to get to meet you, and I thought they wouldn't cast to patcheck Curls, that's actually a really logical thing to think, but it just was like the icing on the cake where he was like, you know what, it just keeps getting worse, And it did get worse for Alia because I don't know if I've ever seen what happened at the rose ceremony happened before where you know, you don't see Chris until he says it's the final rose, Peter, take your time, or whatever it is that he says. Then he comes out when two roses are there, takes that rose, which will never know whose rose that was, and gives the last rose to McKenna, which is so interesting because I feel like, at least for me, I wanted the opportunity to keep people around to still get to know them, and if I could have extra roses, I wish I could have, because it's hard to send people unless you are dead set of like this is not somebody I would ever date. I still wanted as many roses each week as I could to keep people around, to still get to Milly. Oh no, you want Chris to take more away rage. I hated that I had to keep dragging people along when I knew, when I felt, I knew, it wasn't there. It's not There are multiple people on my season who could have been my boyfriend and I could have dated in the real world. But I was looking at who can I spend the rest of my life with. That was my mindset. Who actually makes sense? So for me, I didn't want to waste people's time, and I'm sure they didn't want to waste my time. So it was hard for me because I wish I had less roses to give now when I got to around seven, like less than ten, then it got hard. Then I wish I would have had more roses to get to know people. I should say ten when I got to round ten. Yeah, but it does concern me though, But maybe getting some inside from you, maybe I'm seeing it from a different perspective. Peter seems to be really struggling. I mean, he really took that hard. It's only it's week three. You got like sixteen seventeen girls still left here. It's only going to get harder and harder and harder, as we know. But your insight is interesting, Becca, because now I'm looking at it from a different perspective. And for me, it's since night one, when I was the lead, I knew pretty much who my top guys were going to be, and I even wrote about it in my journal, who like my top four or five were, And but there were still people that continued to surprise me week by week. And so for me, one week I would go into being like, ah, no, this guy's probably going to go home. I'm writing him off now, and then something would surprise me or we would have a conversation that I wanted more from. And another exam ample of why I wanted to keep more roses or why I probably would not have preferred Chris to take an extra on away for me is there are certain people and I'm not saying this is why Peter want maybe were to want one or not, but there were people where they just made me laugh and I wanted to keep them because even though it wasn't a romantic relationship. For instance, Jordan, like Jordan I knew was never going to be a partner for me, but he kept me laughing week by week, and he was just such a funny presence that kind of kept me saying throughout all of the pressure week by week that like, you know, when I got rid of him, it was it was in the middle of the entire season, and so I knew at that point. Okay, now things are actually getting serious. I can't keep just like keeping people around to keep them around. I have to really get down to the way or of like who is going to be my person in this? But yeah, but I still wanted people that I could get along with, that could keep me laughing. That would be good for the guys in the house, like good morale because it is so stressful and it's very I mean, I don't think anyone can really know exactly what it feels like to be living with multiple people in this high pressure situation because it is pretty stressful and there's emotions that are all over the place throughout the entire season. That it's good to have guys there to keep the morale up for the other ones and for us too. Maybe it was more of a selfish row that I kept. Yeah, but no, no, no no, you definitely have to have that balance and that you gotta have the comic relief. You gotta have all characters, all facets when it comes to you know, the people that you have until you can't anymore. Right, But I and that's why I'm okay that'll Alaya went home. And a matter of fact, I see this as a gift for Peter, because not that you want every week where some people are running the girls in the house are running to you and telling you about someone like I don't like tattle teals. However, this is a gift because this early in the game, you don't know a lot of people, and you got this reassurance from not one, but several women in the house. So for me, it's like, Peter, it's going to get so much harder. Take this as a gift because you really liked her and she showed you her true colors early, right, and that he's not always going to get that opportunity, right, No, And I will say, I mean he really struggles. He and he struggles so much that even after the row of ceremony, you see him chatting with his producers and saying, I think I regret it, And in that moment, I'm like, hmm, she's going to come back. Something's going to happen. Because if he's questioning it that much, he's like, he's going to bring that into the following weeks and the following dates and he'll still have that little bit of doubt in the back of his mind of should I have sent her home at this point, and if that's there, it's going to creep in to everything else. Yeah, but this is what worries me for him. If you're doing that this early, you are going to do that from here on out. Like I remember the first time where I had a doubt about sending someone home. I was less than ten people when I felt that at that moment, you're doing that, and there are so many girls, it's just gonna get so much harder for him. But you're right. We see him talking to our producer. He seems upset. We know he's not talking about Alexa, Jasmine and Sarah who fail to receive roses at the ceremony as well, so you know, goodbye to them. Jasmine was my favorite from bios when we did that podcast episode, so I was actually sad that we really didn't get to know her. I don't know who Alexa and Sarah are what. Alexa was the one I liked. Remember she had the fun headshot where she was She seems kind of spunky, and she was my wild card at the end when we picked our four girls. Oh, she's the one who liked waxes and she's a Petician or something. I think, Yeah, I think I was very I thought I would see more, but yeah, yeah, so two of our favorite, our favorites are gone. They're gone, but I I did. You're right. When we see Peter still stressed out over the decision he made, you, Becca caught it. You said that. I guess I was. I don't know what I was thinking, but you definitely were like, she's it's not over for her. And we've seen the previews for next week's episode, and you see, Becca, you were right. She pops up. So obviously Aliah or Eliah as she is known in some circles, obviously wasn't telling the truth when she said she respected his decision because she is back well. And now when I saw her walk back in, I was like, Okay, is this her coming back? Or did he request this because he couldn't get something out of his mind with her? Is there something still tugging at him where he needed full closure or he's needed to have one more conversation with her? Dunt have done? We will find out next week hopefully. Yeah, but I've already I've seen enough enough of Aliah and I agree, I will say I'm ready for you know, once Aliah always Aliah. You know, so I know that I know you love hearing Becca and I and we love talking to you guys. And we usually have a guest that we bring on to give us some insight as to what happened in the episode or a preview as to what's to come. But why have a guest when you have an exclusive clip of the next episode? So you're welcome, No need to thank Becca and I. Here we go all this drama, which is all of us back because we're all wondering what his intentions are. He needs to be prepared for what we're going to say to morow because he's made this mess and he has to be able to own up to clean this shit up. Here's my take on that. Yes, if I was a girl living in the house and Peter invited Alayah back, that would suck, and rightfully so I would be just as mad. My issue would be though, with Peter and if he knows what he really wants or is he just a guy who is you know, he regrets his decision, he made this rash decision to send a Layah home early and wants her back. It's like, are you going to keep being wishy washy throughout? Are you just going to invite people back on a whim? Like, what is it? What is it that you want? You sent her home for a reason, now stick to that. So I would question him in that scenario. I mean, Peter obviously wants to learn things the hard way. I get it. This is a new experience. It's hard. You really are kind of by yourself. Yes you have producers, but you don't have your family and your friends, and you really have to trust the decisions that you make. You can't be swayed by other people. At the end of the day. You have to trust your decision, make that decision, and then be okay with the decision that you may. You don't get this opportunity to continue to bring people back. We saw how that played out last season, right, So I mean figure it out that that would literally be my response. My question is is Peter just a massa kiss where he likes to torture himself and make things harder for him because he knows that by bringing her back, he's already had drama last week with Leiah, this is going to cause drama by ten times what he already had seen, and like he already had to deal with the questions from the girls when Hannah came back on the date and he spent the day talking with her and hashing that up, Like he is just now putting himself in this position because it's like like for his sanity, he just needs to stick to his guns because it's making everything worse for him. Yeah, I honestly don't. I hope that this is it. Like I hope he Okay, you think you made a mistake, let it play out. I guarantee you you're going to learn the hard way. I'm sure we'll see Eliah on a two on one and that and then that'll be the end of it. But it's just kind of like I don't want to watch just another season where you can't figure it out, you know, Like I want you to be definitive in your and your decisions, right you're yeah, so well. And I think we've seen it with past Bachelor's not to name names, but people say they want one thing and they realize it's not what they want and they are wishy washy and they change their mind. And like this is all of these girls, their lives and their hearts are on the line. Peter's heart is on the line. So it's like, know what you want before you say yes to this, Know what you want going into it, so you can articulate that to the women you're dating, to everyone who put their lives on hold and stand by what what that is? Yeah, we'll see this is. This is a shocker and a bit of a disappointment, Becca, But I guess, I guess it just also means we gonna have a lot to talk about next week. We're gonna have to wait seven more days. And now I'm kind of pissed because I just want to know what's going to happen. Okay, you know what, let's lighten the mood by playing a little game. Yes, all right, So these are going to be our superlatives to date for Pilot Pete's season. So the most likely too, all right, So first question up, that's your contestant most likely to, oh my god, push another girl in front of a car for time with Peter. I'm gonna say Kelly the Lawyer, because here's the thing. Kelly, I think from what I've seen so far, she's very in him. She's very serious. She's already had minor issues with the girls about meeting Peter. Before all of the started. We also heard Demi last week say that Kelly took the pillow fight very seriously. She kind of scared Demi a little bit. So I'd say, Kelly is scrappy and she's gonna do what she has to do to get Peter. Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and just say Hannah Anne, because I'm just gonna go with people who throw people under the bus. And so I've seen Hannah andrew that and I've seen Sydney do that. So it's gotta be one or the other. So I'll just pick. I'll just pack Hannah Anne, gotcha? All right? Next one, who is the most likely to start drama? She say it on the kind of three yeah, one two three tomato even in the studio, and we just are on the same page. But I think most people would agree with that one. Yes, well she's actually not starting it, but yes, but second place goes to Kelsey, but she keeps feeding it. And that's It's like even in the in the episode that we just sided, it's like Peter's going around having conversations, conversations with all the women, and then she's just sitting next to the pool, continuously talking over and over and over and over and over and over about it. Yeah, so I like saying the names at the same time. Okay. Bachelor contestant most likely to sneak into Peter's hotel room after hours one, two, three Hannah Banna. Oh, well, I see Savanna because she's the girl who straight out of the limo kissed him, oh and kissed him and got it all you know, touchy feeling with him. So she would definitely get a little sneaky over there. Okay, that's a good one, I said, Hannah. And just because she has a lot of confidence, and so I could see her being bold enough to say, you know what, I'm ready to see him. I don't care what time of the hour it is. Ire with that, I give her that. Okay, all right, next one, Okay, who is most likely to get wild in the fantasy suite? Okay? Three? Two Savannah? No, I got the girl? No? Oh, yes, I was gonna say Tammy, just because she's wild and I like her. Oh that's a good one, man, I like your answers better than mine. Tammy's a good one, You're right, And she's a wrestler, so she definitely, you know, I think has the moves. That's a good one right now. Okay, baschlor contestant most likely to sleep through a rose ceremony three two Kelly. I I was gonna say Kiara because she just I haven't seen that much of her. I also need more of the faces because I'm only going off of the eight that are right in front of me. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm gonna pbably say the same name as over and over Agamp. I mean, our audience probably only knows eight of them as well. I say Kelly just because she always seems to be so over it, Like she already says she doesn't fit in, she's out of her comfort zone. I don't want to say she seemed like she's above it because she doesn't come across that to me. I like Kelly, but she's just kind of like muh, I just used to sleep. Yeah, she's just ready I think for it to be I think she's ready for them to be four or less so then she can be separated from the girls and catch up on her rest. Yes, Okay, So moving on down the line, who Rachel is the most likely to cry over nothing? Okay? One two, three yep, nell explanation needed there we've all because we've seen it. Yeah, exactly. Oh, this is why my favorite Rachel. I'm excited for this one. Okay, you do the honors. That's a contestant most likely to be the first one to sell a subscription box three two one Madison. Oh, I had to change it up. I had to change it up. I would have you know, she probably would have been my second. But honestly, we should have said one of the night one girls, because I think Hannah, ann or Matt and Madison are going to go far enough to where they're not going to have to do that at first, but yeah, or they can't say yes for a little bit. Yeah, I wouldn't even know who went home night once. So who is most likely to completely disappear after the show finishes airing? I know who can say? Okay, three two one night he did not want to be verified in the first place. He's gonna want a good long break after this. So funny. We could have so much fun that Peter was probably the best answer. We also could have said the champagne bottle. We could have said um Alaya's tears. Um. We could keep going with this one. I was gonna say, but I still want to see him people. Okay, oh man, okay, who's okay, Demmy might get upset about this one, but who's the bachelor contestant most likely to be the queen of Paradise? Three two? Wait? I want to think of a good one. Mm okay, I got it, you got it? Sorry? Yes, okay? Three two one? Okay. I was gonna say Tammy. I was, and then I said Victoria Victoria F is who I'm referring to. Okay, so I don't I see Victoria F. I think I think she'll do Paradise. I could zero on Paradise, but I think she'll have some issues. Okay, this is I'm so over analyzing this. Please forgive me, you guys. Just let me have a moment. I was gonna say Tammy because Tammy's so fun. But Tammy said something on this week's episode right before Peter kissed her. She was like, Oh, I thought you were gonna say I'm one of the bros. Tammy is like a She has a tendency to friend zone herself because she's so freaking cool. Like I understand that she's like a tomboy, so it's easy for her to go into that role. So I think everybody will love her and she'll be the queen, like the friend queen. Yeah, I think Victoria F is gonna be like the little sex kitten. All the guys are going to have seen her before. Like if the Victoria F comes to Paradise, I want to talk to her, you know what I mean. I wish you could see on my face right now. That's what I think. I think that's what they're gonna say, Oh, I want to talk to her. That's they're gonna it's Paradise is sexualized, So I'm going to That's that's how I'm speaking of it. I'm not saying it's fair, Rebecca. I'm just saying it's paradise. I will say I would love to see an underdog. For instance, our girl Sarah, I thought she was cute. She went home early, so somebody who we maybe didn't see that much of Rigel. I know you loved Jasmine, so maybe sheila lower it up on Paradise. Yeah, and you're right, Becka, would be nice to see an underdog, especially with all the drauma we had last season, and then it's just like the same contestants over and over again. It really would be nice to see something new some faces I know that might not be maybe interesting or dramatic to some people, but yeah, well who knows. Some of those girls that went home early that we didn't see anything of, could could have some big personalities. Fingers crossed, fingers crossed his right. So last one Batchel contestant most likely to slide into a former contestant's d MS. Oh all right, already, I'm like stumped on this one. Do you want me to help you out? Yeah, it's gonna be all of them. All of that said, if we have Mike or Tyler, Ce or Connor, anyone out there listening, who can please screenshot if any of these girls have slid to the DMS. I would love to read these. But you know what, I can't even just fault these ladies because it's probably these guys that are already sliding into their dm I's already happening. God, I hope we don't. I mean, I know, I know this is going to happen, and I just I'm wishful thinking here that I don't want to see what happened with Paradise last year happened where everyone was already like buddy, it up or had this system and they were talking of like, oh yeah, you and I can team up and give roses. It's just that's not how it works. So let's just stay radio silent with everyone and be pleasantly surprised on the beach. Now, we would like to move to a little segment we're going to have each week, and it's going to be entitled there are some cats and some rats. That's right, cats and rats, Cats and rats. Honny, who who this week is your cat? And who Becca is your rats? Oh? Let me give it to you. I have to say, obviously, I don't think this is any shocker to anyone. My rat is Alea, and that goes without having an explanation. I think we an't know why. I'm gonna say my cat of that's so weird saying my cat of the week. Insert all of the puns here. Um, I'm going to give it to Victoria Pee now, Rachel, I know she's not your favorite, but I think Peter is feeling her. I think from what we saw so far of them together, so far, so good. They look happy. She's really falling for him, and they had a good, good little one on one moment together. So I'm gonna give it to her. Yeah, No, I like Victoria. I just don't think that she's going far my cat. Jeez, who knew it would be so tough to find the cat of the week, the catch of the week. I guess I'm gonna have to give it to Fred Willard. There you go, words right out of my mouth. That's why I couldn't find him on the chart because he's not there. It's Fred the institution that is Fred Willard. Or maybe I'll give it to Champagne and kill her or whatever their names were. Becca. Again, you took the words out of my mouth. It's obviously Aliah. But when I'm referring to her as the route of the week, I'm going to revert back to eliahum it. You know it's tempting because a part of me does want to say Sydney because she is the one who tattled and I'm just not a fan of snitching. But the way that Eliah handled it, I gotta give it to her because they just it just kept going and going and going. Let me tell you all something for future people who are signing up for the show. You can't hide batch shit crazy. Okay, it's gonna come out come what you know? What do they say, Alia will always come out? I'm just paar aphrase of that. That is not how the saying goes. What what's what's in the darkness will come to light like you can't. It's the truth will eventually come out. Same thing with crazy. Okay you can't. And then if you're confused, just look into their eyes. You can always tell crazy from somebody's eyes. That's people have looked at me and they've been like this, bitch, Cray No Becca, not even close. No. Garrett probably does it on a daily basis, not even clothes.
