<v Speaker 4>off Live. Do I think she's ready to beat Becky?

<v Speaker 4>As much as I love her, I think this is
<v Speaker 4>a good start. You can build her from there Afterwards.
<v Speaker 4>My question is, how do you think if Live were
<v Speaker 4>to win, she would do it? How would she do it?
<v Speaker 5>A roll up?
<v Speaker 4>Well, I would not put a roll up past any
<v Speaker 4>finish in WWE at this point, and that's a sad
<v Speaker 4>thing to say, but the roll up has been used
<v Speaker 4>in instances. I never thought they would use it in
<v Speaker 4>high profile situations in big matches. To me, the overuse
<v Speaker 4>of the roll up is a sign of cowardice on
<v Speaker 4>the part of creative because it always gives the loser
<v Speaker 4>and out, and it also cheapens the win. There are rarely,
<v Speaker 4>rarely clean finishes in pro wrestling today. How often do
<v Speaker 4>we see a clean finish without interference, without somebody using
<v Speaker 4>a turnbuckle or using a roll up, pulling on the tights,
<v Speaker 4>something behind the referees back clean finishes are what the
<v Speaker 4>frequency of roll ups and fluke victories used to be.
<v Speaker 4>They now traded places, and it's to me damaging the
<v Speaker 4>product on a foundational level, the business, the industry as
<v Speaker 4>a whole. That said, a roll up is absolutely possible.
<v Speaker 4>What is also possible is maybe a returning Bailey screwing
<v Speaker 4>Becky Lynch and a war and allowing Live Morgan to
<v Speaker 4>get the victory. Again, this is all hypothetical, assuming your
<v Speaker 4>logic that Live were to win here now again, I
<v Speaker 4>agree with you that Live is not ready, but it
<v Speaker 4>is something for her to build off of. Maybe she
<v Speaker 4>gets screwed. Maybe then they test the waters to see
<v Speaker 4>how deep the support for Live goes. Based on how
<v Speaker 4>terrible she gets screwed, what's the reaction. So I don't
<v Speaker 4>think Live is gonna win, but playing this out, yeah,
<v Speaker 4>I think a returning Bailey could do it. I know
<v Speaker 4>that there's rumors of Bailey returning early. This is a
<v Speaker 4>little too early. Maybe down the line Bailey does indeed
<v Speaker 4>screw with Becky, but yes, definitely roll up or some
<v Speaker 4>kind of weird finished Fluke victory. That ends up being
<v Speaker 4>somebody who is targeting Becky and live as the benefactor
<v Speaker 4>of that. And that is how I think it goes down.
<v Speaker 4>If it goes down, I doubt it, but there you
<v Speaker 4>go next. As much as WWWE just let me down
<v Speaker 4>with the cuts they keep doing, they still have not
<v Speaker 4>cut the one person that would make me stop watching WWE.
<v Speaker 4>For me, that person is Alexa Bliss. If they ever do,
<v Speaker 4>I can say I'm done for at least a little while.
<v Speaker 4>Who would it be for you? Honestly, there really isn't
<v Speaker 4>anybody they can cut. I mean, I do this as
<v Speaker 4>part of my like, part of my living. Now it's
<v Speaker 4>not my full time job, although it's getting to a
<v Speaker 4>point where I could make it my full time job,
<v Speaker 4>which is pretty cool given you know how long it
<v Speaker 4>took to get here, and you know, I'm proud of
<v Speaker 4>the show that we've built with all the listeners and
<v Speaker 4>great co hosts. It's certainly not me on my own.
<v Speaker 4>But so that's really the reason I would not stop
<v Speaker 4>no matter what they do, simply because this is part
<v Speaker 4>of my income, it's it's part of my life, and
<v Speaker 4>so sadly that is for better or worse. Whether I'm
<v Speaker 4>gonna sell out for money or not, that's just the reality. Now.
<v Speaker 4>If I was a decent human being and actually had
<v Speaker 4>morals and ethics, and I did, I wasn't just easily
<v Speaker 4>bought and paid for and I was just a simple
<v Speaker 4>fan and I did not have this, what would be
<v Speaker 4>that person that I would say, Okay, I'm out boy Roman.
<v Speaker 4>I guess I mean, I go to shoot right to
<v Speaker 4>the top. If they just decided to cut Roman for
<v Speaker 4>no reason, that would probably do it for me as
<v Speaker 4>a fan. But listen, the more cuts they make, the
<v Speaker 4>more the more headlines w WE makes, which means more clicks,
<v Speaker 4>which means more downloads. So actually, selfishly, if you're gonna
<v Speaker 4>put any kind of positive spin on it, for at
<v Speaker 4>least somebody, the podcasters and YouTubers, this is our time
<v Speaker 4>to make money because more people are like googling what
<v Speaker 4>the hell's going on on? So I guess in a
<v Speaker 4>very selfish and just deranged way, that is the only
<v Speaker 4>benefactor of that. So anyway, let's see, Randy, what's your
<v Speaker 4>final point here next? I really want to see Ria
<v Speaker 4>and Bianca go at it. I believe that that they
<v Speaker 4>have an NXT and it was great. I could be wrong,
<v Speaker 4>but anyway, I think eventually Becky loses her to her
<v Speaker 4>again and setting up a Ria versus Becky. The question
<v Speaker 4>is do you see a Rea and Becky match happening?

<v Speaker 4>and Bianca has to happen. Absolutely. I mentioned this on
<v Speaker 4>my mindnet raw review that seeing them in the Fatal
<v Speaker 4>five way was the best part of the match. They
<v Speaker 4>are so good together. They're both super strong, they have
<v Speaker 4>complimentary styles, similar styles that that and seeing them was
<v Speaker 4>a joy. Seeing them as the final two competitors and
<v Speaker 4>the Women's Royal Rumble this past year was a joy
<v Speaker 4>to watch, as I mentioned on the raw review. And
<v Speaker 4>so that's the first part. The second part Becky and Ria. Yeah, absolutely.
<v Speaker 4>Now this is assuming Live doesn't take the championship rumber,
<v Speaker 4>which I think we're all kind of understanding that that's
<v Speaker 4>going to be the case, that she's not going to win.
<v Speaker 4>Having Ria and Becky is a shoe in, especially when
<v Speaker 4>you have a tag team division that doesn't exist and
<v Speaker 4>you have belts for a division that doesn't exist. The
<v Speaker 4>tag team division for the women is a embarrassment. It's
<v Speaker 4>an embarrassment right now. So yes, Ria and Becky. Absolutely,
<v Speaker 4>it's on the table. I mean when I mean, that's
<v Speaker 4>really anybody's guest. Probably later in the year, early next year, depends,
<v Speaker 4>it really depends. I think this will be your clue, Randy.
<v Speaker 4>When do Ria, and Ria and Nikki drop the Women's
<v Speaker 4>Tag Team Championships? When do they drop them? Or really
<v Speaker 4>when do they maybe just do what Medusa did on
<v Speaker 4>w I mean just dump them in the garbage. I
<v Speaker 4>mean at this point they're worth more value there than
<v Speaker 4>they are just being paraded around as a prop. So

<v Speaker 4>on the takeover show Casual Wrestling Fan and the misses,
<v Speaker 4>but I said DJ Kuzmo and the misses. Damn you, DJ,
<v Speaker 4>you got into my head. Yes, I did notice that,
<v Speaker 4>and I knew what you meant, and he knew what
<v Speaker 4>you meant. Absolutely, it's not an insult. I mean he
<v Speaker 4>didn't take it as such. But yes, they're both such
<v Speaker 4>prominent listeners of the show. I understand how you got
<v Speaker 4>it mixed up. DJ does get in your head. He's
<v Speaker 4>so passionate and I mean this complimentary to him. He's
<v Speaker 4>so passionate that he you know, honestly, he gets the
<v Speaker 4>information and sees the news quicker than I do. He's
<v Speaker 4>telling me about stuff going on that I should already
<v Speaker 4>know because I run this show. And so that just
<v Speaker 4>tells you how passionate he is. And yeah, so let's
<v Speaker 4>move on. I wanted to live up to casual wrestling
<v Speaker 4>fans massive pressure and expectations to do a three set
<v Speaker 4>voice note so you can hear finally the sexiest accent
<v Speaker 4>in the world, which is South African. But for some
<v Speaker 4>reason I can't phone the number. Are there maybe any
<v Speaker 4>alternatives way, alternative ways such as WhatsApp voice notes or
<v Speaker 4>on Patreon which would could be used. So here here's
<v Speaker 4>what I'd recommend Miller. So, first of all, I'm not
<v Speaker 4>sure how to do that. On Patreon, there might be
<v Speaker 4>a way to send a voice file. What I'd recommend
<v Speaker 4>is this, and this goes for anybody if for some
<v Speaker 4>reason the number doesn't work. And by the way, I
<v Speaker 4>use Google Voice. That's the app I got the number from.
<v Speaker 4>It's Google Voice, So I don't know if that helps you.
<v Speaker 4>But in the event that you can't send a voicemail
<v Speaker 4>that way with five one eight nine five two zero
<v Speaker 4>two four seven, what I'd recommend is just sending me
<v Speaker 4>an audio file as an attachment in an email. That's
<v Speaker 4>when I get a lot of people doing that. So
<v Speaker 4>it's not all through Google Voice, which is the phone
<v Speaker 4>number I give out, but a lot of them are
<v Speaker 4>just email attachments. So that's what i'd recommend if you
<v Speaker 4>want to send it, and I believe there shouldn't be
<v Speaker 4>any issue there. Just use your phone, create an audio file,
<v Speaker 4>just create a voice memo on your phone, and then
<v Speaker 4>send us an email with that attachment. It's really a
<v Speaker 4>foolproof way that anybody should be able to get in
<v Speaker 4>touch with us. And I don't worry about the conversion.
<v Speaker 4>I can convert it into an MP three or what
<v Speaker 4>file format whatever. So that's what I recommend. All right,
<v Speaker 4>let's see, Oh, anyway, still couldn't get a chance to
<v Speaker 4>watch any show, but going on holiday in a week
<v Speaker 4>for three weeks, so I will definitely have some time
<v Speaker 4>to watch some WWE. Glad WWE is finally acknowledging Survivor series.
<v Speaker 4>I feel the same as you, Matt, the pay per
<v Speaker 4>view has lost its significance as being one of the
<v Speaker 4>Big four. Like I said last week, if they're gonna
<v Speaker 4>do cross branded matches and always have the same the
<v Speaker 4>points system of who won, make the winning brand actually
<v Speaker 4>get something Otherwise, what's the damn point other than messing
<v Speaker 4>with storylines. Yeah, there is no point, Miller, There is
<v Speaker 4>none none. It is a marketing scheme developed by the
<v Speaker 4>team over there ATNWWE, headed over headed by Vince, and
<v Speaker 4>approved by Vince that somebody at some point said this
<v Speaker 4>is a great idea, and you know what, At one point,
<v Speaker 4>it was fun to see rovers a SmackDown when it
<v Speaker 4>seemed like there was some kind of rivalry between like
<v Speaker 4>Shane and Stephanie, or Eric Bischoff and Paul Hayman, or
<v Speaker 4>Eric Bischoff and Stephanie McMahon during that era many years ago.
<v Speaker 4>That is when it kind of felt cool and they
<v Speaker 4>actually created a whole video game series off of that.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, before it was WWE two K, it was well,
<v Speaker 4>first it was what was it, shut your mouth and
<v Speaker 4>here comes the pain. Just bring it to know your
<v Speaker 4>role kind of bouncing around here. But then it became
<v Speaker 4>SmackDown Versus Raw and that took place in two thousand
<v Speaker 4>and five. That was the very first SmackDown Versus Raw
<v Speaker 4>that was released in two thousand and and four. Well,
<v Speaker 4>actually no, I think it was four late oh four
<v Speaker 4>oh five saw SmackDown Versus Raw two thousand and six,
<v Speaker 4>because they were always a year ahead, and then it
<v Speaker 4>went on for many iterations. So SmackDown Versus Raw was
<v Speaker 4>actually a thing that you know, you could kind of
<v Speaker 4>get into, even though if you dig past the surface,
<v Speaker 4>it doesn't make sense, at least on camera. It you
<v Speaker 4>got invested in the characters, even if you didn't you
<v Speaker 4>particularly care about the brand or color. So I agree
<v Speaker 4>like this has been just an abomination of what Survivors
<v Speaker 4>series used to mean. There are no consequences, So what
<v Speaker 4>are we doing here other than bragging rights? What are
<v Speaker 4>we doing here? Nothing, We're not doing anything here. It's
<v Speaker 4>just to give away fantasy matchups in exhibition style with
<v Speaker 4>no consequences other than bragging rights. So again going back
<v Speaker 4>to the beginning, the answer is there is no there's
<v Speaker 4>no tangible benefit. Nobody gets awarded anything. If they actually
<v Speaker 4>had something on the line, then I'd be maybe a
<v Speaker 4>little bit more invested. But they have nothing, and they
<v Speaker 4>can't do a championship versus championship to unify everything. So, Okay,
<v Speaker 4>if I had to choose my favorite brand and I
<v Speaker 4>was exclusively on one brand where we are with other
<v Speaker 4>sports teams, I would choose SmackDown. But the two eliminations
<v Speaker 4>that have been announced, I'm not happy with the men
<v Speaker 4>and women's SmackDown teams. Yeah, I guess if I had
<v Speaker 4>to choose SmackDown, I guess would be the one. It's
<v Speaker 4>more consistent, it's more consistent with its booking, it's a
<v Speaker 4>little cleaner in its presentation. I think a lot of
<v Speaker 4>that has to do with the fact that they don't
<v Speaker 4>have an additional hour they have to produce. Secondly, here
<v Speaker 4>you mentioned possible fantasy bookings for Brock. I just thought
<v Speaker 4>Hey was one who ultimately ended undertakers Wrestlemenia streak, who
<v Speaker 4>could be the shocking person maybe to have the crazy
<v Speaker 4>story of slaying the beast as an underdog to boost
<v Speaker 4>their career. Like you mentioned almost maybe as an example. Yeah, look,
<v Speaker 4>I mean almost in brock Lesner is one of those
<v Speaker 4>matchups that right now will probably only live in the
<v Speaker 4>video game universe and those of you, by the way,
<v Speaker 4>that care about video games. Ww two K twenty two
<v Speaker 4>is coming out in March, not the normal October. So
<v Speaker 4>now they've had over two years, like two and a
<v Speaker 4>half years to produce this video game. And let me
<v Speaker 4>just tell you this, I'm not trying to go off
<v Speaker 4>topic here, but if two K twenty two tanks lookout,
<v Speaker 4>I mean that's gonna be the final straw. I think
<v Speaker 4>WWE would like terminate their contract and move on to
<v Speaker 4>another video game publisher. It would be a disaster. I mean,
<v Speaker 4>they have to get this right. The pressure on two
<v Speaker 4>K twenty two is immense. So anyway, but your question
<v Speaker 4>as far as brock Lesner, who could be slaying the
<v Speaker 4>beasts as an underdog to boost their career? O Maas
<v Speaker 4>is certainly one. Bobby Lashley is another. I know Bobby
<v Speaker 4>Lashley is more of an established star, but I'm trying
<v Speaker 4>to look at this realistically. I'm looking at the rosters
<v Speaker 4>right now. You know, there's really not a whole lot
<v Speaker 4>of individuals that are credible enough to beat brock Lesner.
<v Speaker 4>There really isn't. I mean, at least ones you're talking
<v Speaker 4>about in the context of trying to boost the career
<v Speaker 4>off the back of defeating brock Lesner. It's a tall task.
<v Speaker 4>And brock Lesner just lost a match. He's not going
<v Speaker 4>to continue to lose match after match when he comes back.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, he does have to get some victories here
<v Speaker 4>here and there. So interesting question though certainly a one
<v Speaker 4>to ponder. And let's see here, let's continue on. Thanks

<v Speaker 4>Let's see the greatest move in two years was the
<v Speaker 4>Roman reigns heel turn and you hating heel turns, Maybe
<v Speaker 4>give Biggie a heel turn works so well with Roman
<v Speaker 4>as champion, and everyone loved it because Roman was on
<v Speaker 4>track for the best run ever as champion. Sorry, Triple
<v Speaker 4>h Stone, Cold Rock Jericho, may I still say it,
<v Speaker 4>Rick Flair, there are a bunch of great champs. Anyways,
<v Speaker 4>do you think as much as you hate heel turns
<v Speaker 4>and Biggie or New Day. What do you think a
<v Speaker 4>heel turn would do for Biggie? Okay, well, first of all,
<v Speaker 4>let me clear up something. I don't hate heel turns.
<v Speaker 4>I just think the frequency of them is alarming right now.
<v Speaker 4>They've been a lot of heel turns as of late,
<v Speaker 4>a lot. It's just I'm just concerned there's gonna be
<v Speaker 4>nobody left to fill the baby face spots, at least
<v Speaker 4>the big ones. I mean, one of these days, somebody
<v Speaker 4>should just do an analysis of like the roster as
<v Speaker 4>a whole and delegate them into heel and babyface camps
<v Speaker 4>and see the percentage. And I really do wonder because
<v Speaker 4>there have been like what five or six heel turns
<v Speaker 4>in a couple of months on the men and women's side,
<v Speaker 4>but no baby face turns. So it's just I don't
<v Speaker 4>hate heel turns. In fact, heel turns are one of
<v Speaker 4>my most favorite things to see because oftentimes wwe can't
<v Speaker 4>pull it off in the crowds and ends up cheering
<v Speaker 4>for them and it gives the opposite effect. So, in fact, Miller,
<v Speaker 4>I love heel turns. I just don't know what kind
<v Speaker 4>of tear they're on, right now to turn everybody heel.
<v Speaker 4>That's the problem I have is the balance. The equation
<v Speaker 4>needs to be balanced with baby faces, and right now
<v Speaker 4>there's a heavy dose of heel and not a lot
<v Speaker 4>of babyfaces to go up against. So that's the concern.
<v Speaker 4>Especially I shouldn't say maybe even not the numbers biggest
<v Speaker 4>concern of babyfaces, but the star power of baby faces
<v Speaker 4>is the biggest problem. So your second part here about
<v Speaker 4>Big E turning heel, Look, I would love it. I
<v Speaker 4>think he could be a heel. But the problem is
<v Speaker 4>I don't think they're gonna do that because again there
<v Speaker 4>goes another heel turn and who they going to turn
<v Speaker 4>babyface to balance the equation. You know, Big E was
<v Speaker 4>drafted the number one overall draft pick this past year
<v Speaker 4>in the twenty twenty one draft. But do you really
<v Speaker 4>think that Big Ee was drafted number one because of
<v Speaker 4>his body of work, or his legendary status, or his
<v Speaker 4>legendary matches, or because it's the name brand value of
<v Speaker 4>Big Ee. No, he was drafted number one because of
<v Speaker 4>the championship he was holding. So really, the WWE championship
<v Speaker 4>was drafted number one, not Big E. That is that
<v Speaker 4>I mean, that's that is a I think indisputable. But look,
<v Speaker 4>Big Ee turning heel, I would argue for the whole
<v Speaker 4>entire New Day turn heel. Arguably, you could say that
<v Speaker 4>they are already heel, and the fans just continue to
<v Speaker 4>cheer for them, so they're baby faced by default. But
<v Speaker 4>Big Ee turning heel, I mean, I can't even ponder
<v Speaker 4>that because I see zero chance of that happening. They
<v Speaker 4>are all in on Big Eie right now. It seems
<v Speaker 4>as if he can't be stopped. Even Drew McIntyre, who
<v Speaker 4>beat brock Lesner at WrestleMania last year, you know, fell
<v Speaker 4>to one terrible belly flop of a big ending. They're
<v Speaker 4>they're really trying to see what they can get out
<v Speaker 4>of Biggies as a baby face, and the fans are
<v Speaker 4>just sadly going along with this. I've really blamed the fans.
<v Speaker 4>I've said that before. I'll point the finger at the
<v Speaker 4>fans just as as quickly as I'd pointed at Creative
<v Speaker 4>Because until the fans truly turn on the Shenanigans of
<v Speaker 4>New Day and Big Ee, nothing's gonna change, you know,
<v Speaker 4>until they stop pouring money into the merchandise and people
<v Speaker 4>stop buying their merchandise. That is really the only way
<v Speaker 4>that we can we can actually have an effect on
<v Speaker 4>creative Stop buying the merchandise and boo them at live
<v Speaker 4>events and ban your ban children from these live events.
<v Speaker 4>Women and children, while they may be first on the
<v Speaker 4>Titanic on the lifeboats, they don't get entry here into
<v Speaker 4>the arena, okay, like they are last. They're not even
<v Speaker 4>allowed in. So that's what I would say, keep the
<v Speaker 4>women and children at home. And yeah, so anyway, of
<v Speaker 4>course I don't. I mean, you guys cheerful who you
<v Speaker 4>want to cheer for. But if I had, if I
<v Speaker 4>was like some kind of wrestling dictating god, yeah, I mean,
<v Speaker 4>I would make the rule that no women and children
<v Speaker 4>allowed at wrestling events at least maybe maybe maybe let
<v Speaker 4>me revise that they won't be allowed in the arena
<v Speaker 4>when you have certain stars out there, and Biggie A
<v Speaker 4>New Day would certainly be at the top of that list,
<v Speaker 4>because they are responsible. They are single handedly responsible for
<v Speaker 4>the continuation of this New Day nonsense. So all right,
<v Speaker 4>before I continue on to my New Day, just rants

<v Speaker 4>and I'm not the biggest fan of the twenty four
<v Speaker 4>to seven title, but it's got some funny moments at times.

<v Speaker 4>Bloodline and Kevin Owens beating up the New Day. That
<v Speaker 4>show was a lot of fun. Okay, So you switch
<v Speaker 4>topics there. I was just reading on like a run
<v Speaker 4>on sentence. But okay, fine, you know, I'm just gonna
<v Speaker 4>I'm just gonna bear the pain of watching that segment.
<v Speaker 4>And maybe you are right. I mean, honestly, even if
<v Speaker 4>you are right and it is a funny segment, I'm
<v Speaker 4>not of the belief that a comedy relief segment has
<v Speaker 4>to be a part of a wrestling show. I know
<v Speaker 4>that for some reason it's a box that Vincent and
<v Speaker 4>Bruce Pritchard and you know, all of the upper management
<v Speaker 4>feel that it's a box they need to check for
<v Speaker 4>every show. Why like, why do we need to have
<v Speaker 4>a comedy segment as some kind of quota every single
<v Speaker 4>time that they produce a show. I don't stand this. So,
<v Speaker 4>even if you're right, it's not something I would view
<v Speaker 4>as an asset. Even if I laughed at the segment,
<v Speaker 4>I would say, Okay, that was funny, But I'm watching
<v Speaker 4>a wrestling show.

<v Speaker 4>what a beatdown by Shatzi? That was unnecessary? How many
<v Speaker 4>angles has Sasa been involved in where she did the
<v Speaker 4>exact same thing to a babyface? So it's I know
<v Speaker 4>that it was a little bit unwarranted, but why am
<v Speaker 4>I supposed to feel sympathy for a heel that has
<v Speaker 4>been doing the exact same thing for weeks and really
<v Speaker 4>almost more than a year now over a year, year
<v Speaker 4>and a half. And she did that with Bailey for
<v Speaker 4>how many months? And they just tore up smack down
<v Speaker 4>during the pandemic era. They did an excellent job. Is
<v Speaker 4>that kind of two woman power trip? They had all
<v Speaker 4>the championships, it was great, But they did that on
<v Speaker 4>a weekly basis to babyfaces that didn't deserve it, And
<v Speaker 4>now all of a sudden, I'm supposed to feel bad
<v Speaker 4>for Sasha again. I agree that that was a heel
<v Speaker 4>or a baby face turn that maybe have been the
<v Speaker 4>only one in the last like six months, but people
<v Speaker 4>need to not have the memory of a goldfish and

<v Speaker 4>when you connect with your stepdad over wrestling. A lot
<v Speaker 4>of people do connect with family over wrestling, believe it
<v Speaker 4>or not. I mean I personally, I don't have anybody
<v Speaker 4>in my family that gives a damn about wrestling, so
<v Speaker 4>it's kind of like me and myself. But now I
<v Speaker 4>have a younger son, so despite the best efforts of
<v Speaker 4>my wife, I will eventually indoctrinate the wrestling into my
<v Speaker 4>son's life. It will be. It will be wired into
<v Speaker 4>his brain whether he wants to or not. But that's
<v Speaker 4>pretty cool, and that is uh, that's really nice to hear.
<v Speaker 4>So okay, I recently returned to watching it. You said
<v Speaker 4>as your stepdad passed away, and through the years I
<v Speaker 4>had heard about Punk and Rains. I want to say
<v Speaker 4>Punk was just coming in around when I stopped. So okay, cool,

<v Speaker 4>Punk was getting close to dropping the pipe bomb, or
<v Speaker 4>at least no, if you stopped in five, then yeah,
<v Speaker 4>you missed the pipe bomb. But pipe bomb happened in

<v Speaker 4>I came back for the silent WrestleMania and saw a
<v Speaker 4>good deal of familiar faces. Surprisingly enjoyed the aj Taker match,

<v Speaker 4>people just for whatever isn't hang on to how great

<v Speaker 4>wrestle in ages and was bummed. It was like a movie. Yep, terrible.

<v Speaker 4>it made you want to see full gear. This was awesome.

<v Speaker 4>he gave this nearly a perfect rating, and it was

<v Speaker 4>it will happen. I think John Cena will return closeer
<v Speaker 4>to WrestleMania season. Have a couple of month, run into WrestleMania,
<v Speaker 4>and maybe even capture the championship at WrestleMania. It's very possible.

<v Speaker 4>Babyface has been done, and it's been done successfully in
<v Speaker 4>the past. Top heel versus top heel is difficult to
<v Speaker 4>do to get the fans invested. So I think it's
<v Speaker 4>going to be a long time, meaning like six to
<v Speaker 4>probably until the next draft, unless something cataclysmic happens. There's
<v Speaker 4>a major trade they run across each other at wrestle Mania,
<v Speaker 4>some kind of hinting interaction like I think it's gonna
<v Speaker 4>be quite a while because right now, you don't want
<v Speaker 4>to turn Roman Reigns babyface, yet he certainly don't want
<v Speaker 4>to turn Seth Rollinds baby face. Seth Rollins is just
<v Speaker 4>starting to come into his own as a heel and
<v Speaker 4>feel the natural, and he's got everything starting to click.
<v Speaker 4>It seems like he's found his identity after going through
<v Speaker 4>as I phrased it, I think it was Last Night
<v Speaker 4>of the Night Before and the What If show. He's
<v Speaker 4>got an identity or he did have an identity crisis.
<v Speaker 4>The identity crisis has now passed and it feels like
<v Speaker 4>Seth knows what he is and who he is. So
<v Speaker 4>that said, you don't want to go and flip the
<v Speaker 4>table on him again and have him be all of
<v Speaker 4>a sudden his fan favorite, which never worked for Seth
<v Speaker 4>like organically never worked for Seth. The only time I
<v Speaker 4>mentioned that he got the fan support was after the
<v Speaker 4>injury before WrestleMania. I think he got injured at a
<v Speaker 4>house show in Ireland or something against Seamus and he
<v Speaker 4>injured his knee, blew his knee out, and then he
<v Speaker 4>returned at Extreme Rules, which took place in Midsummer of
<v Speaker 4>that year and the crowd was all for him. That
<v Speaker 4>was the only time. You know, even during the brock
<v Speaker 4>Lesner build up to WrestleMania with four or five years ago,
<v Speaker 4>not even that long ago, four years ago, it didn't
<v Speaker 4>really work. So Seth has a baby face never ever worked. Roman,
<v Speaker 4>when he comes becomes a baby face, it will work
<v Speaker 4>because the fans have had time to really hate him

<v Speaker 4>and repeat storylines in fifty to fifty booking. I mean, look,

<v Speaker 4>a host of others. Never in all my years of
<v Speaker 4>watching pro wrestling, especially WWE, when I have witnessed so
<v Speaker 4>many releases in one year. With all these releases occurring
<v Speaker 4>so frequently, the rosters are just getting depleted to the
<v Speaker 4>point that the baby face to heal ratio has become
<v Speaker 4>uneven where there are more heels than babyfaces. Also with that,
<v Speaker 4>there's a huge void in for the main event top
<v Speaker 4>tier babyfaces, and the future looks very uncertain when after
<v Speaker 4>the likes of Roman, Drew Seth, Becky, Charlotte and maybe Bianca,
<v Speaker 4>there really isn't anyone that could step up to the
<v Speaker 4>prominent face of the WWE. Hence the reason for going
<v Speaker 4>back to the part timers like brock Edge, Goldberg, Sena
<v Speaker 4>to main event big matches at paper Use. I wish
<v Speaker 4>every wrestler that got released the very best. It's hard
<v Speaker 4>to be put out of work during the holidays, but
<v Speaker 4>I'm optimistic that things will get better for most of
<v Speaker 4>these released wrestlers because they are no longer under the
<v Speaker 4>control of the machine known as the WWE. Yeah, it's tough,
<v Speaker 4>regardless of what you think about them. They are human
<v Speaker 4>beings that lost their jobs and they may have been
<v Speaker 4>making a whole bunch of money, but don't forget what
<v Speaker 4>that may be proportional to what you and I make.
<v Speaker 4>And it's all about what you say, not what you spend,
<v Speaker 4>So don't forget that maybe their lifestyle can no longer
<v Speaker 4>be supported by the lack of the lack of their paycheck. Now,
<v Speaker 4>I mean, so they are humans and I feel for
<v Speaker 4>them too, I do, I really do. So it's a lot.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, someone needs to compile a list of everyone
<v Speaker 4>that has been released over the last year. It's got
<v Speaker 4>to be just striking. I mean, it feels like every
<v Speaker 4>couple of months we're hearing about the the massive releases.
<v Speaker 4>This is this is absurd. And I know that they're
<v Speaker 4>claiming it's budget cuts. While that may be true, it's
<v Speaker 4>not the whole truth. Like, of course, cutting people is
<v Speaker 4>always a part of budget cuts, so they're not lying.
<v Speaker 4>And that's what they would say. By definition, when you
<v Speaker 4>cut a talent, you are budget cutting, right, you are
<v Speaker 4>saving money on your budget. But they're not giving us
<v Speaker 4>the whole truth. They're giving us a sliver of it.
<v Speaker 4>Of course, they're not going to get into details. They're
<v Speaker 4>never gonna say, oh, yeah, Keith Lee was released because X, Y,
<v Speaker 4>and Z, and here's everything he did. They're just gonna
<v Speaker 4>go with the generic budget cuts because it's not a lie.
<v Speaker 4>It's just you know, like one percent of the truth.
<v Speaker 4>So okay, sidebar stuff here. Have you noticed that both
<v Speaker 4>Xavier and big Ee have their own theme music, while
<v Speaker 4>Coofe still comes out to the new It's a new Day,
<v Speaker 4>so wnw creative. Here's a memo repackaged Kofee as someone
<v Speaker 4>else with a different theme music and gimmick to get
<v Speaker 4>rid of the old of the poison that is the
<v Speaker 4>New Day. Well, yeah, I mean Kofe I think is
<v Speaker 4>the poison of the New Day. If I was going
<v Speaker 4>to break it down to one person, he is the
<v Speaker 4>worst part of the New Day. I mean he is
<v Speaker 4>just insufferable on camera. So yeah, I mean, just I
<v Speaker 4>would like to see just the heel turn. Somebody turn
<v Speaker 4>heel for God's sakes. I know I've been complaining about
<v Speaker 4>the number of heel turns. This is one I wouldn't
<v Speaker 4>care about. I just don't. I gotta say. I know, Matt,
<v Speaker 4>you don't follow up on NXT two point zero, but
<v Speaker 4>Mandy Rose is going from blonde to brunette as a
<v Speaker 4>heel champion is really impressing me. I never knew that
<v Speaker 4>Mandy could channel such a dark side to her character.
<v Speaker 4>While on the other hand, for her former tag team
<v Speaker 4>partner Dana Brook, who has not done anything substantial since
<v Speaker 4>the split from Mandy Rose, has not even won a
<v Speaker 4>singles match in probably six or nine months. Yeah, like
<v Speaker 4>I said earlier, or I actually say later in the show,
<v Speaker 4>because i'm recording this DJ, I'm recording your email actually backwards,
<v Speaker 4>So later on in the show, I actually do talk
<v Speaker 4>about Mandy Rose. Somebody else brought them up, and I
<v Speaker 4>think in a voicemail Mandy Rose, and you'll hear it
<v Speaker 4>again in my show in about forty five minutes. Is
<v Speaker 4>amazingly not amazingly predictably doing better on NXT, and they
<v Speaker 4>should do like when they come to the main roster.
<v Speaker 4>The effects should be what people are having when they
<v Speaker 4>go to NXT, back from the main roster to NXT.
<v Speaker 4>It's amazing, yes, and it's to me, the main roster
<v Speaker 4>is just toxic and it shows that they don't know
<v Speaker 4>how to manage talent as well as NXT. So okay,
<v Speaker 4>let's see here. I don't know why some wrestlers that
<v Speaker 4>are not getting booked for matches on the main roster
<v Speaker 4>due to the creative not having anything for them get
<v Speaker 4>traded to NXT to hone their wrestling skills and tweak
<v Speaker 4>their wrestling persona and then maybe go back to the
<v Speaker 4>main roster. It sure helped Finn last year rebuild his
<v Speaker 4>character while in NXT. He eventually moved back to the
<v Speaker 4>main roster, and Mandy Rose is improving on week to
<v Speaker 4>week with her new character and the women's faction she's
<v Speaker 4>got an NXT. It's pretty impressive. That's all for this
<v Speaker 4>segment piece another voicemail. Yes, so I'm gonna get to
<v Speaker 4>your voicemail in just a second. You're gonna be the
<v Speaker 4>very first voicemail. But before we get to your voicemail, DJ, Yes,
<v Speaker 4>I mean I agree with the whole analogy of Finn
<v Speaker 4>as an example. He is, He's a great example of that.
<v Speaker 4>What happened with him going to NXT. I think Kevin
<v Speaker 4>Owens would have been absolutely a benefactor of going back
<v Speaker 4>to NXT too. And they kept him on the main
<v Speaker 4>roster and floundered and here and there and he's on TV,
<v Speaker 4>he's off TV, he main events, he's forgotten, he does
<v Speaker 4>the KO show, he goes away. There's no consistency at all.
<v Speaker 4>And like I said, I'm going to say ear later
<v Speaker 4>in the show, I'd rather be on NXT. If I
<v Speaker 4>was on NXT, I would not want to come to
<v Speaker 4>the main roster. I would not want to anything to
<v Speaker 4>do with the main roster because there are too many
<v Speaker 4>examples of stars that are established in NXT that come
<v Speaker 4>to the main roster. Evince doesn't know what to do
<v Speaker 4>with them, and they just sit there, they rot, they
<v Speaker 4>rot away, or he changes a character for no reason.
<v Speaker 4>Carrion Cross makes no sense what they did with him.
<v Speaker 4>I would not want anything to do with the main roster.
<v Speaker 4>Look with Keith Lee. Keith Lee was like hot at NXT,
<v Speaker 4>having excellent matches, excellent on the microphone. He comes up
<v Speaker 4>to WWE's main roster and doesn't know what the hell.
<v Speaker 4>They don't know what to do with him. He's on TV,
<v Speaker 4>he's off TV, and now boom, he's released. I would
<v Speaker 4>not want anything to do with the main roster. If
<v Speaker 4>I'm on NXT, the odds are too great that they
<v Speaker 4>screw me up or they fire me. I'd want nothing
<v Speaker 4>to do with it. There is way more freedom, it
<v Speaker 4>seems like, on NXT, and they seem to have a

<v Speaker 2>our releases of who's gonna be on the card, our
<v Speaker 2>champion versus Champion, our team versus team, and of course
<v Speaker 2>the glorified brand supremacy crap that Creative likes to shove
<v Speaker 2>down off road every single year in this Survivor Series
<v Speaker 2>pay per view. So I'm not expecting it to be
<v Speaker 2>an awesome pay per view. It should be a solid
<v Speaker 2>pay per view of some good wrestling matches. But we
<v Speaker 2>finally got what we've all been waiting for in this
<v Speaker 2>Survivor Series aka exhibition aka All Star Game type of
<v Speaker 2>paper view. Now, as we continue on on the mailback,
<v Speaker 2>I want to talk about what's going on, especially like
<v Speaker 2>I mentioned last week with the heel turns. Oh my goodness,
<v Speaker 2>and now again with more heel turns, a double heel turn.
<v Speaker 2>We just saw last week last night on Monday Night Raw,
<v Speaker 2>not only did we get Kevin Owens turning on attacking Biggie,
<v Speaker 2>but we got Due dropped. I mean, are you kidding me?
<v Speaker 2>Dude Drop Piper Nivvins aka Piper Nifvens attacking Biaga Blaire.
<v Speaker 2>Wait a minute, I thought that dude Drop was a
<v Speaker 2>babyface aligned with Eva Marie and Eva Marie made her
<v Speaker 2>life a living hell. Now of course, even Marie's not
<v Speaker 2>here anymore, she's released. But again we're I don't get
<v Speaker 2>the concept of why the hell would you book do
<v Speaker 2>Drop in this? Uh, you know, in this position as
<v Speaker 2>a heel and I would say, not a believable heel
<v Speaker 2>because uh, I don't know what kind of promos you know,
<v Speaker 2>she could put out. I don't even understand the whole
<v Speaker 2>character development with this, but I understand, of course, you know,
<v Speaker 2>Bianca bill Air has to be away from the title
<v Speaker 2>because Becky Lynch did tell her it's time to go

<v Speaker 2>again with the heel turns, and of course Kevin Owens.

<v Speaker 2>Of course, we had Shatzi Blackhart turning heel on SmackDown
<v Speaker 2>and all the other heel turns that I mentioned last week.
<v Speaker 2>Where is the explanation? Where is the storyline? I don't
<v Speaker 2>want to continue to be the dead horse about all
<v Speaker 2>of these heel turns, which doesn't make any sense. But
<v Speaker 2>I want to talk about these recent WWE releases now.
<v Speaker 2>I want to put this in a positive perspective. I
<v Speaker 2>know we're all pissed off, we're all shocked, we're all
<v Speaker 2>depressed about this, but I want to put this in
<v Speaker 2>a positive perspective. And I want to give a quick
<v Speaker 2>shout out to, of course, Carrion Cross, who is finally,
<v Speaker 2>finally going back to his Killer Cross gimmick. Man, did
<v Speaker 2>I love the Killer Cross gimmick in TNA? I mean
<v Speaker 2>not TNA, but the impact of course, and of course
<v Speaker 2>when he brought it to NXT. And of course another
<v Speaker 2>shout out to Keith Lee, he just celebrated his birthday.
<v Speaker 2>Keith Lee and Killer Cross now are free from the
<v Speaker 2>handcuffs of Vince McMahon and Creative they could finally finally
<v Speaker 2>reach their highest potential because we all knew the writing
<v Speaker 2>was on the wall with them being on the main roster.
<v Speaker 2>There's just a certain once you hit that ceiling, there's nothing,
<v Speaker 2>you know, there's no way you could surpass that ceiling.
<v Speaker 2>In the WWE and we all saw the terrible will
<v Speaker 2>give Me with the bear Cat of course, the beloved
<v Speaker 2>bear Cat and the whole gladiator sex object you want
<v Speaker 2>to call carrying Cross that they just butchered him on
<v Speaker 2>Monday Night Raw. He is finally free to be his
<v Speaker 2>old self as kill Across Scarlett is gonna be joining him,
<v Speaker 2>and hint, hit folks, there's gonna be the return of
<v Speaker 2>the smoke screen and the awesome, awesome entrance that Kill
<v Speaker 2>Across always has. I can't wait to see where he
<v Speaker 2>pops up. I heard that he's getting booked for a
<v Speaker 2>couple of shows now, so much love and appreciation to
<v Speaker 2>Kill Across Keith Lee. I know this is a tough
<v Speaker 2>time for him, but I know he's gonna do well
<v Speaker 2>out in the Indies, whether on aw whether on Impact,

<v Speaker 4>a blank starts with an oh. So that's what it
<v Speaker 4>feels like. And honestly, Rick does have energy. Rick Boogs

<v Speaker 4>a good looks, he's he's good in the ring. I
<v Speaker 4>would says he's good to okay in the ring. But yeah, look,
<v Speaker 4>you may be onto something as far as your question
<v Speaker 4>about one show. Now, if you're a new fan when
<v Speaker 4>I or I at least a fan that has come
<v Speaker 4>back to the product, then you missed all of the
<v Speaker 4>time in which wwe did have a single show and
<v Speaker 4>they went to a brand split, and they went back
<v Speaker 4>to a single show, and then they had a brand split.
<v Speaker 4>There have been brand splits more often than not over
<v Speaker 4>the last fifteen years, and it does yield some benefits. Though.
<v Speaker 4>Here are the benefits of a brand split. They allow
<v Speaker 4>this is the biggest one. They allow stars to get
<v Speaker 4>airtime that otherwise wouldn't get airtime and a spotlight on them.
<v Speaker 4>If there's one singular show with the same story running
<v Speaker 4>through both shows, that will by definition exclude people from
<v Speaker 4>the spotlight. Because you have one show, you have one highway.
<v Speaker 4>There's no or rather one lane. There aren't two lanes
<v Speaker 4>of traffic, just one, which means only the stories that
<v Speaker 4>are on Raw get shown on some back down. And
<v Speaker 4>you can't have exclusive SmackDown programs going on if you
<v Speaker 4>are uniting the product, they have to run with each other.
<v Speaker 4>And and here's the other problem, or rather other benefit
<v Speaker 4>to that. You're able to create fantasy matchups and fans minds.
<v Speaker 4>You're able to create two separate worlds where you have
<v Speaker 4>wrestler X on Raw wrestler Y on SmackDown, and they're
<v Speaker 4>doing their own thing. They're building them up, well they are,
<v Speaker 4>you know, they're they're being pushed to h to what
<v Speaker 4>WWE wants them to be, and the fans are thinking, hmm,
<v Speaker 4>what would happen if these two got together? You know,
<v Speaker 4>what would happen if she or he met at WrestleMania
<v Speaker 4>or just crosspaths somehow. That's also a benefactor of a
<v Speaker 4>brand split. Now, the biggest downside is again you do
<v Speaker 4>run the risk of a thin roster. You do, and
<v Speaker 4>if you only have a certain amount of storylines running
<v Speaker 4>through each brand, that means that creative has to come
<v Speaker 4>up with more content and a shorter amount of time,
<v Speaker 4>and more frequently before the pay per view. What I
<v Speaker 4>mean by that is, say this Roman Range storyline was
<v Speaker 4>on Raw and unsmacked Down. It was a single brand,
<v Speaker 4>there was no brand split. Then that means creative has
<v Speaker 4>to come up with three hours of content for the
<v Speaker 4>same storylines that you're then going to also show on SmackDown.
<v Speaker 4>I mean you are multiplying the amount of content for
<v Speaker 4>the same storylines that creative would have to come up
<v Speaker 4>with on a weekly basis. Instead of just Unspackdown, say
<v Speaker 4>two hours of content, they'd have to come up with
<v Speaker 4>an additional three hours per week because you're running those
<v Speaker 4>same storylines through the other brand. So I can see
<v Speaker 4>both sides. I'm a fan of a single brand. It's
<v Speaker 4>easier to follow, but I understand the challenges that come
<v Speaker 4>with it. From w's perspective too. So anyway, Brad, cool

<v Speaker 4>the build was fine. The crowd support I had no
<v Speaker 4>problem with. It was a fun moment for him in
<v Speaker 4>the ring. Yes, I understand the history making part of

<v Speaker 4>it was the It's really the run he had after,
<v Speaker 4>the way that he held the championship. He could never
<v Speaker 4>be serious. He's always making jokes. Everything's got to be
<v Speaker 4>funny or an inside joke or I mean, you're still
<v Speaker 4>seeing that today nothing's changed. That's what makes this so
<v Speaker 4>made it so terrible for me. I don't care about
<v Speaker 4>the color of his skin. I really don't now. I mean,
<v Speaker 4>you look back at the history of African American champions,
<v Speaker 4>there haven't met a whole lot. I mean, you went
<v Speaker 4>from the Rock being the first African American w champion
<v Speaker 4>in nineteen Booker t Mark Henry, then Kobe Kingston. Of
<v Speaker 4>course he had Bobby Lashley. Now, Biggie, there's six, right,
<v Speaker 4>so he had six. If we we're going to talk
<v Speaker 4>about black champion African American champions, six of them have
<v Speaker 4>reached the top. Now that is that's not a lot
<v Speaker 4>at all. But WWE as of late, seems to be
<v Speaker 4>really on a role here, whether by design or not,
<v Speaker 4>of representing African Americans as champions. I think it's great,
<v Speaker 4>no problem with it. I have no problem with it.
<v Speaker 4>What I don't want, though, is people becoming champion. And
<v Speaker 4>I'm not saying this is happening. I'm not saying this
<v Speaker 4>is happening. But what I don't want are people becoming
<v Speaker 4>champion simply because of the color of their skin. And
<v Speaker 4>ww thinks it would be a great marketing tool to use.
<v Speaker 4>In other words, I don't want WWE using other stars
<v Speaker 4>because of the color of their skin to say, hey, look,
<v Speaker 4>we've look, we're checking all the boxes we've got. We
<v Speaker 4>got to all African American champions, so take a look
<v Speaker 4>over here. Right, That's what I don't want. I'm not
<v Speaker 4>saying they're doing that, but it is a little suspect
<v Speaker 4>given the current political climate, and they're a publicly traded
<v Speaker 4>company that they have so many African American champions at
<v Speaker 4>this time. I have no problem. I think it's cool
<v Speaker 4>that they do, and it's great to see, you know,
<v Speaker 4>different races holding championships. It's great. I really enjoyed. I
<v Speaker 4>sang the praises of Bobby Lashley for many many months here,
<v Speaker 4>many months. I loved him as champion. Big Eie not
<v Speaker 4>so much. But I'm not talking. Here's the thing that
<v Speaker 4>the problem is when you criticize anybody today. And I'm
<v Speaker 4>not saying you're doing this. I'm not saying I'm doing this,
<v Speaker 4>but as a society, the problem is when you criticize
<v Speaker 4>anybody today, unfortunately, the first thing they look at are like, oh,
<v Speaker 4>the color of the person's skin, which is really unfortunate.
<v Speaker 4>It's almost as we've gone backwards, right, it's ridiculous, instead
<v Speaker 4>of just as a very famous person said, the content
<v Speaker 4>of their character. Right, that's all analyzing here is the
<v Speaker 4>content of one's character. Absolutely, and if if Kofe winning
<v Speaker 4>at WrestleMania for you meant a lot as an African,
<v Speaker 4>a fellow of African American, that's cool as it should.
<v Speaker 4>I absolutely understand that it's something that you admired and
<v Speaker 4>was a cool moment. It was a moment for you
<v Speaker 4>that that. I think that was part of the intention,
<v Speaker 4>and I think mission accomplished, right, Like, obviously I'm not black,
<v Speaker 4>you can. I mean, I think most people, not only
<v Speaker 4>by my logo but by my voice, I do not
<v Speaker 4>sound like I am of anything other than a Caucasian ethnicity.
<v Speaker 4>I don't think. I don't think I give that vibe. Again,
<v Speaker 4>my logo certainly does. Uh does just kind of also

<v Speaker 4>then my opinion shouldn't matter to anybody like you or
<v Speaker 4>anybody that looked at that moment and said cool, like

<v Speaker 4>whatever race. Then that's really all that matters. But for me,

<v Speaker 4>the worst build. Great moment at WrestleMania was good. After

<v Speaker 4>the train went right off the tracks and off a

<v Speaker 9>up to the main roster because his NXT Championship run
<v Speaker 9>was not very long. I feel like that, you know,
<v Speaker 9>they should have just let him feel NFT for at
<v Speaker 9>least another couple of months. He could have had, you know,
<v Speaker 9>a good dominant run. But it just shows, you know,
<v Speaker 9>that they just don't know what to do. You know,
<v Speaker 9>you got people like Elias and Jackson Ryker that aren't
<v Speaker 9>even getting TV time among other people, and then you're
<v Speaker 9>releasing you know, people that have talent, you know, people
<v Speaker 9>that could be Feature World champions. They were former you know,
<v Speaker 9>NXT champions. So this doesn't make sense. I wanted to
<v Speaker 9>touch on Bobby lastly. I actually, for some reason, I
<v Speaker 9>knew that he was gonna be the one to come
<v Speaker 9>out when Adam Pearce to Dominic that he didn't want
<v Speaker 9>him on the team. And it's good to see him back,
<v Speaker 9>you know, definitely good to see m VT back, you know,
<v Speaker 9>hopefully last league.

<v Speaker 4>show for regarding the releases was actually done by Amanda
<v Speaker 4>who did a great job. And I have yet to
<v Speaker 4>really speak on in depth the releases. Now that's a
<v Speaker 4>that's really a whole other episode. But I'll touch on
<v Speaker 4>the big one, big ones, really, Keith Lee that you
<v Speaker 4>spoke to that did surprise me on the level that
<v Speaker 4>I thought they knew that they had something with him
<v Speaker 4>and that whatever issues he had going on would eventually
<v Speaker 4>resolve themselves. However, whatever they are and I think there
<v Speaker 4>were a multitude of things. I don't think it was
<v Speaker 4>a singular item for Keith that made the decision for
<v Speaker 4>WWE to release him. There were clearly personal issues, health issues.
<v Speaker 4>Maybe they didn't know what to do with him creatively.
<v Speaker 4>I mean they just suddenly made him a bear cat
<v Speaker 4>and then released him. I mean, it doesn't make any
<v Speaker 4>sense if you're going to change the name of a guy, well,
<v Speaker 4>why are you investig any time and a guy you're
<v Speaker 4>gonna let go. Maybe they were hoping it would catch
<v Speaker 4>fire immediately, but at some point we will get the
<v Speaker 4>full story from Keith. I mean, he was the start
<v Speaker 4>and stop king from NXT. He went on a run
<v Speaker 4>in WWE. He was even, like you said, he beat Orton.
<v Speaker 4>I remember being really really angry with WWE's decision to
<v Speaker 4>give Randy Orton a loss for the very first time
<v Speaker 4>as a hot heel last summer and having Keith Lee
<v Speaker 4>of all people, come up and beat him when that
<v Speaker 4>win belonged to Edge. Remember when they were they were
<v Speaker 4>feuding and they were having one of the best programs
<v Speaker 4>of the year. Edge was out and Orton. Edge was
<v Speaker 4>out with injury, and Orton was running through people and
<v Speaker 4>punting people and just he could not lose being one
<v Speaker 4>of the best heels we've seen. I remember saying that
<v Speaker 4>this was the version of Orton that I was sad
<v Speaker 4>we didn't get throughout his entire career, and Edge reinvigorated
<v Speaker 4>him and he then loses after many months of not
<v Speaker 4>being able to be even touched to Keith Lee. I
<v Speaker 4>didn't understand it then. I understand it even less now.
<v Speaker 4>And Keith Lee was the guy at that point. You
<v Speaker 4>were like, Okay, they're going to try to do something
<v Speaker 4>with his victory, and they didn't really do anything, you know,
<v Speaker 4>like guess, like you said, he just when she starts
<v Speaker 4>to get a little bit of that momentum, he disappears
<v Speaker 4>off TV with an injury, maybe COVID. I know he's
<v Speaker 4>explained he had health issues in a video a few
<v Speaker 4>months back, but I just and fans are just so
<v Speaker 4>perplexed about Keith Lee. I think he had a lot
<v Speaker 4>of potential to a lot of potential, and you know,
<v Speaker 4>he was the man in NXT for a while. They
<v Speaker 4>bring him up to the main roster that he flummixed
<v Speaker 4>and floundered, and he's on TV and off TV. They
<v Speaker 4>don't know what to do with him. He's got issues, Boem,
<v Speaker 4>he's gone. If I was somebody at NXT, I would
<v Speaker 4>stay the hell away from the main roster. I would
<v Speaker 4>not want to aspire to be on the main roster.
<v Speaker 4>I really wouldn't. There are too many examples of stars
<v Speaker 4>that come up from NXT who are over in NXT
<v Speaker 4>and then Vince gets his hands on him, and he
<v Speaker 4>Vince mcmonifies them and fixes something that's not broke, feels
<v Speaker 4>like he has to change it just because he has
<v Speaker 4>to put his fingerprints on it, and that by default
<v Speaker 4>them coming from NXT, they're not a polished performer, and
<v Speaker 4>he ends up screwing things up more often than not. Now,
<v Speaker 4>Bianca bell Air is an exception. She's I mean, she
<v Speaker 4>has caught fire and I've said that she's the best
<v Speaker 4>NXT call up so far. But yeah, Keith lee Is,
<v Speaker 4>that was a head scratcher for sure. And again, i'll
<v Speaker 4>I may do a separate episode on all the releases.
<v Speaker 4>There's rumors of more releases coming too, So all right, well,
<v Speaker 4>moving on, because you had quite a few things here
<v Speaker 4>carrying cross Yeah, that was another one. Why do they
<v Speaker 4>they did seem to rush him up? I think The
<v Speaker 4>turning point for carrying Cross was the mask, the terrible
<v Speaker 4>Gladiator mask that was unnecessary, and then him losing to
<v Speaker 4>Jeff Hardy on his debut that was also, looking back at,
<v Speaker 4>kind of a sign of things to come. Bobby Lashley,
<v Speaker 4>good to see him back. Yes, it is great to
<v Speaker 4>see him back, absolutely agree, and seeing him destroy Dominic
<v Speaker 4>Mysterio was a thing of beauty. Yes, Raw feels like
<v Speaker 4>they're gonna win. Yes they do. Yes they do, and
<v Speaker 4>more often than not on Survivors series, Raw does dominate SmackDown,
<v Speaker 4>And I think a lot of that has to do
<v Speaker 4>with Vince and his desire to see his first born
<v Speaker 4>child of Monday at Raw go over the redheaded stepchild
<v Speaker 4>that he perceives as SmackDown while SmackDown's the better show.
<v Speaker 4>I think he still favors Raw, I really truly do.
<v Speaker 4>And how many times when's the last time we saw
<v Speaker 4>SmackDown sweep Raw? Has it ever happened? I don't think so,

<v Speaker 4>is clearly got an advantage with star power as far

<v Speaker 4>men's and women's five on five for some ron's backdown.
<v Speaker 4>We're just at the whim of Adam Pierce and Sonya Deville.
<v Speaker 4>I mean, they literally just hand picked them. Now, Adam
<v Speaker 4>Pierce did say his qualifier were was that they had
<v Speaker 4>to be a former world champion, But what does that
<v Speaker 4>have to do with today? You know, I mean why
<v Speaker 4>didn't he pick Dolf Ziggler. You know, like Dolf Ziggler

<v Speaker 4>he's on SmackDown. But my point is that Monday Night
<v Speaker 4>Raw Adam Pierce suddenly has taken an interest in. Yet

<v Speaker 4>about SmackDown or raw beating SmackDown. This again, I've dove
<v Speaker 4>into this nonsensical logic for so long that I'm not
<v Speaker 4>gonna continue to just destroy it. But the qualifying matches

<v Speaker 4>picking favorites. You know, whoever's the teacher's pet is basically
