Josh Allen’s MVP Performance, Michigan’s Loss & Full CFB/NFL Recap | Bussin’ x Greg Olsen

Bussin' With The Boys

Recorded: September 8, 2025: Starting today, every Monday, Bussin’ With The Boys will recap the entire weekend of football with Will Compton, Taylor Lewan, and Greg Olsen. The Boys kick things off by breaking down Week 2 of college football, from Nebraska dominating Akron to Michigan’s loss to Oklahoma. Taylor admits whether he’s nervous about The Bussin’ Bowl, and they dive into Vanderbilt’s big win, Florida’s upset loss, whether Arch Manning is playing hurt, and everything else after a crazy weekend.

They also cover Week 1 of the NFL, including Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers looking sharp, Jalen Carter spitting on Dak Prescott, Josh Allen showing why he was the NFL MVP last season with a heroic performance to beat the Baltimore Ravens, the Miami Dolphins’ rough start, and plenty more. Greg breaks down the game he called on Sunday, gives updates on coaching his youth football team, and previews his next matchup on the sideline.

This is the first of many weekly Monday recaps you’ll get all football season, only on Bussin’ With The Boys.

00:01:16
Speaker 2: A lot of great college football games too.

00:01:18
Speaker 1: A lot of great college football games too, especially one in the Lincoln Nebrowns, especially one down in Gainesville, Florida.

00:01:26
Speaker 2: Yeah, another one that we'll talk about in Norman, Oaklahomi. Wondering what are the boys doing in front of my face on a Monday afternoon? Yeah, because it is right now. As we record every week when we record our intros for the bust And episode, you're still getting the bust and Interview bust An episode tomorrow. Husker fans, you're going off fucking love it. But we decided the boys, the unit, the squad here that hey, we're reacting the football games. They usually don't drop till Tuesdays now that we're in football seasons. If we knock this out Monday mornings, is there a world where we can get the football talking, football reactions and recap out by Monday afternoon the earliest. What we did is instead of doing like a two to three hour intro before the interview where we talk all games. Because we're watching college, we're watching NFL. We're now carving that out and putting it on Monday afternoons. So every Monday afternoon, you're gonna be getting Busting with the Boys our football recap Greg Olsen. Since he came on the show in the summertime, there's been whispers, there's been conversations, Hey, will you join us to do our football weekend recap every Monday, And we will because we want to follow your youth football team. We want to follow that aid the kids are most important.

00:02:36
Speaker 1: Yes, we got to see what Greg Olsens kids are. And there's rumors about other coaches have texted other guys are busting with the Boys, saying I played a great against Greg Olsen's Sun team and my god, what a juggernaut they got them. Yeah. Yeah, So we're gonna keep track of them all year long. With their season ends in October, We're gonna keep track of them all the way until October.

00:02:53
Speaker 2: And I want to hear from the coordinators too. Like to me, this is not like Luke Keikley. If they have a bad defensive performance, I need Luke Keikley to be zoomed in talking about that bad He needs.

00:03:02
Speaker 1: To have a conversation and get those salt packets and the salt and pepper, those little things they do at the little coffee table. They need to dial that whole entire thing. Yeah, but big, big weekend for football. I think it's only best for busting with the boys. We start quick, we start hard, we start fast, just like their breast of corner scars. Will Compton, how do you feel beating Akron sixty eight to zero.

00:03:20
Speaker 2: Look, we played a monasory school, and I'm completely aware of that. But what I personally loved loved to see is we didn't punt the ball one time. When you go out there, it gets a.

00:03:31
Speaker 1: Week puss with the best punter in all of college football.

00:03:33
Speaker 2: Right and his family apparently traveled all the way from Australia to watch him, and he didn't even get to showcase that leg a little bit.

00:03:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, I know they gotta be staying for a few weeks though, Right Bust got a guy to stay for them.

00:03:46
Speaker 3: I think they are in town for like the first three games.

00:03:48
Speaker 2: Correct, that's crazy. I don't know the biggest that would be great. Hopefully it just wasn't a weekend trip from Australia, I hope. Yeah.

00:03:56
Speaker 1: Eighteen hours ago watch your sun stand on the sidelines.

00:03:58
Speaker 2: Yeah, he got a He got a pop too when his name got introduced pregame, he got a pop from the crowd.

00:04:04
Speaker 1: And I also love the fact that punters are getting introduced at a game.

00:04:08
Speaker 2: You bring that back. Normalize that, Yeah, normalize that, And that's a great call. G We got to get his family if they're in town. We got to get him to the last ye on September ninethe bring him out there the Rococo Theater again. Bust and Bowls coming Nebraska versus Michigan in Lincoln, Nebraska. September nineteenth is a Friday, and we are doing a live show at the Rococo Theater in Lincoln. Go to bwtv dot com the secure your slot. I don't know where tickets are. I know they're selling fast. We might be out who knows. I don't know, but it's gonna be rocking. We're doing a tailgate the next morning, September twentieth. We'll go ahead and get all that promo all the way. The boys will be tailgating September twentieth in the morning at what's that location. It's like the Haymarket, Haymarket Park. We will be at a Haymarket Park. Tailgating rises up before that game. But yeah, dude, what I loved about the Huskers is, you know, as a staff and as a team, if you're playing a bad football team, a little small school from the MAC it's coming in to play, you guys, you want to see execution. Well, defensively, you want to see a goose egg on that school.

00:05:06
Speaker 4: Yeah.

00:05:06
Speaker 2: Offensively you want to you want to score every drive. We had thirty one first downs, thirty one first downs over seven hundred yards of total offense. We didn't punt the ball one time. Emma Johnson's running through people. Ten different receivers are catching the football, the backup quarterbacks getting touchdowns. Yeah, Dylan Rails throwing it for about what Dylan throw three hundred.

00:05:25
Speaker 1: And sixty four yards and four touchdowns.

00:05:27
Speaker 2: Will three hundred and sixty four yards in four touchdowns. And the offense put up a goose egg, all right, the defense put up a goose agg.

00:05:35
Speaker 1: This is what I liked about that game. When we went to Kansas City and we watched them play against the Cincinnati Bearcats. Shiran brought this up and it was a great point. Nebraska Cornusters should have beat the Cincinnati Bearcats by two touchdowns. You walk around, it seems like a very conservative game plan, especially on the offensive side of the ball, like, hey, let's do our best not to lose this game. You feel like, buttholes were a little tight when we're in Kansas City. From a Nebraska standpoint, they go in and this week, yes it's accurate, Yes it's the monastery school, the School of the Deaf and the blind. But it's like, let's open rala up, let's show what we got at running back. Let's put our big uglies on the line of scrimmage and watch him move the line of scrimmage. And they did that every single drive. And that was something. If you're a nebrassa Cornishers fan, you got to be very excited to be like, Okay, this is the offense and you're not gonna expect, you know, sixty eight points every single game. But you know the guys have it. You know they have the operation. You know, Rayola is the guy you hope, you hoped he was gonna be this Emmit Johnson kid. I know he was good last year, but it takes more than one guy to take him down. And the Black Shirts obviously putting a goose egg on the on the board is unbelievable. They love to see.

00:06:33
Speaker 2: Yeah, the weeks after the week after two during all the pressers, it's like, when you come out of that since the game, I wish you would have opened it up. You're saying, Dylan executed that game plan to perfection.

00:06:43
Speaker 1: I love that. Holgerson, Baby, Holgerson, Holgerson.

00:06:46
Speaker 2: You see him putting lips in in the middle of the game.

00:06:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a bro. DYLI he does a bro.

00:06:51
Speaker 5: Did Dylan put up that tight end to proposing to his girlfriend similar to Travis Kelsey proposing?

00:06:59
Speaker 2: I did see that. I did see that, Like buddy, Yeah, like Raila is trying to become Patrick Mahomes because you see the tight end they get engaged.

00:07:08
Speaker 3: You can't.

00:07:09
Speaker 1: When you saw Patrick Mahomes lower his shoulder on twenty three for the Chargers, I think everybody in their mother thought, Nebraska, he's gonna be running out of bounds and he's gonna lower the shoulder on somebody. He's gonna truck somebody, and it's just gonna be like, here we fucking go again.

00:07:23
Speaker 2: I think his stats look nice. Stats, he look fucking nice. I'm talking nice enough to potentially in the near future be in that Heisman conversation. Not right now, right, I'm gonna say that right now, right, but but numbers are there.

00:07:38
Speaker 1: Keep your eye on.

00:07:39
Speaker 2: It, keep your eye on it, keep your finger on that pulse.

00:07:42
Speaker 1: You want to be the guy that said Will Compton reported it first, that's what you want. Just like the guy who reported arch Manning being hurt first was not the mainstream media. It was Jeremy Clump. Jeremy Clump, what was it before week one?

00:07:57
Speaker 3: Right right at the start of week one, when he's one, I saw him moving his shoulder.

00:08:01
Speaker 1: Moving his shoulder. Popped over a little text said, hey, watch out for arch maning shoulder. It seems like he's got a little something going on. During the game against Ohio State, holding the ball for a long time, a lot of those passes were dirted, seem a little bit inaccurate. He's throwing mechanics seeming a little bit off. He goes in, he has a game he does against you know another monasory school four touchdowns. But buddy, there's a video and I hope we get it up on this Monday breakdown of him throwing a pass and you see his face. There's no joy in that face. Win, the wincing, the grimacing, the grimacing in his face when he's throwing that football. You could tell something's up with that poor bastard. I feel bad for for arch Manning right now.

00:08:38
Speaker 6: And it's a bad throw too, which is more concerned is impacting him throwing right?

00:08:42
Speaker 1: And if you're right, and if you're taking the optimism approach, it's like, oh, arch Manning really is a generational quarterback. He's just hurt right now. That's the optimism approach you're going to take. How do we get him healthy? That's a whole nother thing. Now we get a little pessimistic, but optimism wise, it's like, oh, we would a beatle HOWK State, but he was hurt. Yeah, that's that. That's a whole look on that.

00:09:04
Speaker 2: I have I have a I have a question go ahead for JP South Carolina game Cocks. Yeah, talk to me about that game. I didn't watch it. It was a little close in the first After h I'm like, what's the South Carolina State against South Carolina State one.

00:09:17
Speaker 5: South Carolina State is a team that you want to grab guys from the portal from because they got a lot of like they always have this like one receiver that's six four two twenty five. They just have bad grades in high school. So he ends up there and he's a stud. But the old line played bad and then the rain delay, I think, not that you ever want to make an excuse, but the game start at like nine thirty pm, which is just a long day for anyone. Horrible conditions. Guys are getting hurt.

00:09:43
Speaker 2: Left the LAS suck period period.

00:09:45
Speaker 5: So then to start that late is like nothing good was ever going to happen except for Vicari Sway, the guy who returned upont last last week returned to this.

00:09:56
Speaker 2: But we got it.

00:09:57
Speaker 5: We got to clean up the O line. The old line is the number one issue.

00:10:00
Speaker 2: Are you concerned and worried about the old line because they had some free runners against Virginia Tech. You're talking about the old line in South Carolina State when they get into these bigger I mean, you got Vane your hosting Vandy this weekend, Like, are you concerned about where the offensive line is at.

00:10:15
Speaker 5: Definitely, But I think I would be more concerned with the offensive like play calling, because if you have a bad old line, there are ways to scheme around having a bad old line, and we have you have a quarterback that you can scheme around it with. And that's been another frustration is like you're kind of it seems like we're forcing Sellers a little bit to be a pocket passer when it's like he's Cam Newton type, so like we need to be kind of getting him outside moving around instead of like making a bunch of reads and all that stuff.

00:10:46
Speaker 1: So yeah, it's it's but I'm not worried about this game. Is a game this week in South Carolina.

00:10:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's gonna be a great game.

00:10:53
Speaker 1: And you've got a Juggernaut coming at you because it's see I mean.

00:10:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, Juggernauts a little heavy.

00:10:58
Speaker 1: However, Vanderbelt was down twenty to ten and they end up coming back and scoring by beating by multiple touchdowns like Pavia the boys.

00:11:07
Speaker 2: This is gonna be It's gonna be an awesome game. I'm excited about this one. And you know night game which plays into our favorite.

00:11:14
Speaker 1: It does because the Sandstorm playing South Carolina, those fans go so hard. We got to win the city again.

00:11:18
Speaker 5: And we play. We do like fall to the level of our competition. We rise to the level of the competition. We're up and down team. So I think at night under the lights that Willie be Sellers might have a little little hot Heisman moment game.

00:11:34
Speaker 3: I texted Caid today.

00:11:35
Speaker 5: I says, Kate McConnell hate week, but it's all love. But I hope, I hope Cade crushes it like I want him. I told him, I said, do it. He's like, you know, actually, I won't say this, but I told him it's gonna be a great game too for him to get tape out for like NFL stuff, because teams watch Dylan Stewart every week, and not that he's gonna be matched up on Dylan Stewart, but but guys will be watching and if he can hold down and.

00:11:58
Speaker 2: They got that transferred dtackle though from Bama correct who's a pretty wine. Yeah yeah, you hear that facetimed in on Saturday after the game. Yeah, and the whole locker room.

00:12:13
Speaker 1: Yeah, nuts were out there. Yeah, when we were streaming that god forsaking game quick, hey.

00:12:19
Speaker 2: But on the stream though, shout out everybody showing up to the stream. Yeah, everybody tuning in. We did our first Thursday night football stream. We will be streaming every Thursday night football game except for like one or two. It might be like during the holidays.

00:12:31
Speaker 1: Christmas and Thanksgiving.

00:12:33
Speaker 2: Yeah, and the college ones will be spotty. I know there's there's five to deliver. College ones will be spotty, so that won't be like every Saturday. But shott everybody showing up in the showing out for the bust and stream.

00:12:43
Speaker 1: It feels like the next one we're going to stream from college football is gonna be Penn State Oregon night game wide out in Penn State. So that'll be then. I think that's the next stream that's kind of on the horizon. Just a quick blip, just want to put this out there. Iowa State, if you watch the locker room with Josh Pate, I believe did you take Iowa State or Iowa?

00:12:59
Speaker 2: I took Iowa to covered Okay, so I think you.

00:13:02
Speaker 1: Later in the week you won because they end up going three and a half. Yeah, they end up covering when we were talking about in the locker room. But Roc Go backed Boys, Rock Go.

00:13:10
Speaker 2: Becked Hey, what I say. They're up to something. They go through.

00:13:13
Speaker 1: He said it. They reported first from will Compton, Rocobeck and Iowa State. They look kind of nice Gronowski. Gronowski for Iowa with one hundred and twenty four yards and two games just in Iowa. Hey, defensive squad, baby, That.

00:13:28
Speaker 2: To me is the biggest thing coming out of that game, just the first couple of weeks with Iowa. Again Iowa, you laugh about it, but they posted this five yard out route where he's got you know, those a little dime on the five yard out and it's like, fellas, we have a quarterback or Iowa has a quarterback.

00:13:44
Speaker 1: Yeah, it looks at the passing game or something.

00:13:46
Speaker 2: And over two weeks now they have like nobody like they've played i awowys State. It's a good football team. But for him to have statistically the lowest passing yards of any Big ten quarterback of all time and for it to be at i is, to me, that's the big thing they're always gonna be. I was just gonna be fucking Iowa, bro, Like they're gonna get you tough wins. Are gonna win about eight to ten games, depending on schedule. Seven to ten games depending on schedule. But they're never gonna be there's never gonna be optimism for a playoff run year at Iowa, at the Iowa, at Iowa, Iowa. Ever, do you know what I'm saying. They just got that, they just got this feel that they're just never gonna be that contending team. Yeah, like an a contender in the Big Ten.

00:14:34
Speaker 1: No, they're always gonna be a team that gets a couple in the Big Ten. They're gonna every an off year in the Big Ten, they're gonna sneak into that Big Ten championship. I mean, you get dumbed by the superior team like Kirk Farancy's been there for what three decades? Three decades, three decades, and it's like, give them the statue, give them all the things. But it's like, buddy, how do you create the forward pass at Iowa? How do you create it? Because it just seems like no matter what you do, you could you could go and uh, get Garrett Nesmyer, take them over from LSU, you bring him in to Iowa and the kids all of a sudden, give me be a running quarterback.

00:15:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, they're they're Cleveland. It's where quarterbacks go to die.

00:15:11
Speaker 1: It's where quarterbacks go to die. It's also where just beefy, mullet ridden mustache having offensive all big ten offensive lineman go to have spicy careers.

00:15:21
Speaker 5: Yeah, fit Nebraska needs to get over which huh Iowa.

00:15:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, But if you're.

00:15:27
Speaker 2: Away, we got to handle our business right. We absolutely got to beat i As.

00:15:31
Speaker 5: We get set up here, talk all this crazy stuff about them.

00:15:34
Speaker 2: But if that's the thing, what does And so I'm trying to do my job as a media journalist and cover everybody unbiasedly. That's the feel I get from Iowa. I was never gonna come out of the off season feel like they're gonna win the national title like the Cornhuskers doing Lincoln. They don't got that about them. We got the light shows in the fourth quarter, lights going off, just just being proud of your football team in such a way that we got a real shot this year. I never gonna feel that way they might own us in the last decade. As far as Huskers versus iowall goes, we will we will handle that ass this year. But that's my overall general consensus of the Iowa haw guys. They don't they will never feel the way we get to feel optimistically even on the bad year's jap. Now, with Dana Holgerson on the sideline, Well.

00:16:21
Speaker 1: Said, update, Iowa is eight and two against Nebraska in the last.

00:16:27
Speaker 2: I said they own us in the last decade. I will say that.

00:16:30
Speaker 1: If Nebraska, Yeah, it might be impossible for Nebraska to go and defeated with Iowa on the schedule, it might be impossible. But hey, gotta be really excited about Nebraska. We did a hashtag tear talk, the questions, concerns, all the things, and I feel like that's a good bleeding into the next game. Duck at drunk Duck co said true or false, Taylor is beginning to feel uneasy about the bust and bowl hashtag tear talk. Now, for those of you who want to be a part of the convers on Mondays, you just put a tweet out question, comic concern, put hashtag tear talk. We will get to you and we'll have that open conversation. My concern is not about the Nebraska Cornhuskers. My concern is the game plan that took place in Norman, Oklahoma. The gate is the whole thing for Bryce Underwood and the entire media of Michigan going down to Oklahoma was We're gonna find out who we have in Bryce Underwood whin this game when this game's all over. Unfortunately, we still don't know what we have in Bryce Underwood. That game, to me, it was a vanilla play calling, so run heavy, which I love that because it's like Michigan is going to be a tough and gritty football team that's going to grind you out over and over and over again. We sustained a shitload of injuries. They hide this injury from the tight end kline who was in a who was kind of practicing before trying out the ankle ends up being in a boot. Bryce Unoverood ends up going eight for twenty one for one hundred and sixty one hundred and forty two yards in negative one rushing yard. I didn't love the game plan. I don't think the game plan put Bryce Underwood in a position to be successful by the time you know, you feel Oklahoma was kind of like the Bills the Bills Ravens games, except for the outcome. Was you watched the Ravens the whole game, You're like, oh, they're in control of this game the entire time. It was that feeling to me with Oklahoma was John Matier is as advertised, he is a dog. Not only is he a dog on the field, I guarantee that boy, he's going crazy off the Field's crazy, the flow, the moxie, the aura, the kids got absolutely everything going from He can die up that kid, Dion Burke's number four from Oklahoma, he's an absolute stud. I think they had he. I mean John Mateer put it, put it right into a cover two zone, right on the edge, and and uh that Burke's kid.

00:18:43
Speaker 2: Brought it in. I know where John Matier won me over. Tell me after the game when he's doing a postgame presser and he's talking about number one, he gives credit everywhere else, but he shouted out the fan base because he's like, there's a couple bad moments that we had and coming back out there on the field and you guys cheering us on and everything else, we really appreciate it. And I'm fired up that you guys came out, you're supporting me the way you are and everything else. That that tickled to pickle with John Mattier.

00:19:11
Speaker 1: Yeah, he seems like he's seems like he's checked off all the boxes. And I'll say this about Michigan. We can't that game plan can't happen. We I mean, it is what it is. You want to be as as positive as you can with the team that you love. But it's it felt as though that game was being played not to be embarrassed. Dave Portnoy said that, and I completely agree with it, Like he played that game not to get embarrassed, because you felt like you were a little, you know, maybe overwhelmed in a talent category.

00:19:38
Speaker 2: I don't know.

00:19:38
Speaker 1: I didn't get to wash the receivers. It seemed like Bryce had time. But I think Brent Vinna Balls did an amazing job on the defensive side of the ball, confusing bringing seven, showing seven, dropping three like he did a great He had a great game plan to confuse a young quarterback. But at the end of the day, I don't feel like there was a lot of we want to take over this game. And you see a multiple times on third and six you're running the ball right up the middle, and so that that to me is disappointing. Now take this game against I believe it's Central Michigan. Let's show what we can show. Let's let's get the pieces going. Let's get some guys healthy because we get a big one in two weeks. If I'm sitting in Will Compton's position right now, I'm very excited about the Nebraska Cornhusters against the Michigan Wolverines. But at the end of the day, man.

00:20:23
Speaker 5: What'd you make of Bryce's There are obviously people are blowing it up. But when he was yelling at that kid.

00:20:28
Speaker 1: That Hayes, Yeah, it's kind of loved it. I kind of loved it because this kid's eighteen years old and nineteen days or twenty days whatever it is at this point, like he just turned eighteen years old and he's getting on guys about where they need to be. You can tell one thing I liked about Bryce's He didn't seem overwhelmed from play calling from the noise. He seemed like he had poised the entire game, even though his stat line didn't show that. But boys like, you're gonna get your ass beat with that type of game plan. You're gonna get your ass beat when you're running run on third and six, or it's you know, third and twelve and you're throwing a bubble and we have we have missed assignments on the blocking and the perimeter. It's just it's tough and so there's some injuries. Now they got to get it figured out. But I am feeling cautiously optimistic about the buzz and ball. Definitely don't feel as good as I did last week, but I feel like, as from a Michigan standpoint, we're gonna show me, don't tell me situation when it comes to calling the games.

00:21:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, that being an eleven point game and felt way the margin was much larger And what were you guys? Were you guys plus two in turnovers? I can't remember. I know Oklahoma turned it over a couple of times and opportunities that you guys had. It's like running the ball on third and six, right like.

00:21:39
Speaker 1: Like the defense wild John Mattier had a day. Don't don't get twisted. Good quarterbacks are going to do well against defenses.

00:21:45
Speaker 2: But they did great.

00:21:46
Speaker 1: From the twenty to the twenty. I thought the Michigan defense did an amazing job and the times they gave up points was a reflection of how the offense couldn't get couldn't stay on the field and sustain drives. You go three and out, three and out three and out events. Your your defense is going to get tired. You're putting them in a very bad position that way. So it's got to be you got to play more complimentary football, and we got to show a level of life back home in the big House against Central Michigan, which I hope to god I'm saying that right at Central Michigan. But to answer the question by drunk duckco, I'm a little yeah. Heart rate's a little little more elevated than how I was talking last week.

00:22:25
Speaker 2: You yeah, you should. There should still be optimism there. I reached out to our partners over at fan Duel got the lines what they would be if they were to give us a line on the brask on the bust and Bowl. Right now, Michigan is favored by three and a half on a neutral field. They're favored by six and a half over under on that game right now again, right now, forty five and a half.

00:22:43
Speaker 1: You got, I mean, Barry, our corner got hurt. We had a safety get hurt. We had our left guard who was a captain, El hadid he got hurt. A Klein was hurt. I mean, buddy, it was homage Morgan. He gets hit late that should have been a penalty, and he ends up. He didn't seem like himself after he got hit. Yeah, it's tough, man. It's tough onward though, because we got a lot of stuff to cover.

00:23:07
Speaker 2: Arizona State upset by Mississippi State. For the love of God, I listen say it. I would have to go back and look and watch. But I was doing the same thing when I saw this against Texas last year in the College Football Playoffs. But that last drive by Arizona State's defense, the play that Mississippi State scored on, there was nobody in the back end. I'm pretty sure they ran a cover zero or a simulated cover zero on that play when they got scored on. And if you go back to the tape against Texas and the College Football Playoff last year, when Texas scored on that in ot they were in a simulated esque cover zero as well, And it's kind of like it's cover zero and it seems like the dbs are playing some type of zone where they're thinking somebody's gonna pass somebody off. I have no clue. I don't know. Love Dilly, love dilly, but I don't know. That's one where I'm like, what what is Arizona State doing?

00:23:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, because they should have walked away from that game winning winning. They were down was it seventeen zero or fourteen zero something something like that, and Dilley Hampson and his coach game press conference like we're one or two plays away from be like what an amazing comeback. It was traveling across the country against Mississippi State and the Bulldogs like that is shit that gets you beat it beat you in the playoffs. You should have beat Texas to the playoffs, and now you do the same shit again against an inferior opponent.

00:24:25
Speaker 5: And last year when they played, the game went to overtime, so it's not like Delly didn't have anything to pull from either going into the week. I'm like, guys, this is a regardless of their record, Like they know how to play ball.

00:24:36
Speaker 1: Mississippi State and ASU, Yeah they went to overtime last year. Yeah, I thought they smacked them.

00:24:41
Speaker 2: I know, damn that was Yeah, it blew my mind. I loved the optimism. I loved the approach on coming over. We're one two plays away from almost having a huge comeback win going across the country. To me, this has nothing to do with the kid with the boys out there, with the kids out there. This is we're sitting in the film room, and it's like, why are we doing this right?

00:25:00
Speaker 1: Right? Because you've got pieces, You got pieces, you got pieces.

00:25:03
Speaker 2: Even if we know, even if you don't have the pieces, you don't run that play.

00:25:07
Speaker 1: You don't run that play.

00:25:08
Speaker 2: You have the pieces, you don't run the play. You don't have the pieces, you for sure don't run that play.

00:25:14
Speaker 1: Either way, don't fucking run that play. Run Gainesville, Florida. Jack McPherson, when we were on the stream, he was doing the Gator chop. Florida upset by USF eighteen sixteen last week. In the locker room, I said that they were going to get Bonnie Blue swallowed by the Florida defense. That was not the case. Florida Gators. Billy Napier, He's on the hot seat more than ever. Jack, how we.

00:25:37
Speaker 7: See it feel great, especially if the ball is going into game day against Georgia, we have an opportunity to really push a narrative for Tennessee football. So typically in the passes the first year we played Georgia in Week three, we typically would be playing Florida this week. So honestly amazing time for us to flip the schedule, because the last thing you want to be playing is Florida after losing to USFBT. They are not a bad football team by any means. Talk about ship that gets you beat. What a absolute dumb fucking idiot that lineman was for spitting in the guy's face when the game is on the line.

00:26:08
Speaker 8: It's like, do you.

00:26:09
Speaker 1: Care after days after Jalen Carter? Do you care forty eight hours after?

00:26:14
Speaker 8: And that's Florida and Georgia for you.

00:26:15
Speaker 7: Just scumbag mentality easy?

00:26:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, Bill, Georgia Bulldog's friends at the show. Yeah, Georgia Bulldogs. They let us into their facility. Georgie, Georgia.

00:26:33
Speaker 2: It's Georgia.

00:26:33
Speaker 7: But yeah, BILLI Napier absolutely is one bad game away from walking home from a from a game.

00:26:39
Speaker 8: Yeah, it's very close to ye.

00:26:44
Speaker 7: And they played Miami this They beat Miami and beat Florida and Miami. They are the well that you have f sgu obviously they are right now that Florida State.

00:26:53
Speaker 2: I'm starting to get to a spot on I'm like, we got to flip the script.

00:26:56
Speaker 1: Florida might be winning the A if you can get the Costanello, if you can get him Thomas Castonell, if you if he stays healthy all year long, we got something. Hey, they might be onto something.

00:27:08
Speaker 8: Honestly, a lot of fun programs in Florida right now. Florida.

00:27:13
Speaker 2: Florida's got a lot of the university.

00:27:16
Speaker 7: It'll be uh if USF can pull this off. USF is a very good football team.

00:27:21
Speaker 8: I don't know what's.

00:27:22
Speaker 7: Gonna happen, but they might get it's going into Miami. That's a tough way to play.

00:27:27
Speaker 8: I don't know. It's gonna be fun, though.

00:27:29
Speaker 1: And it looked good. He looked good against Notre Dame.

00:27:31
Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, how about the how about the boy Landing just putting it in lash Lash?

00:27:39
Speaker 1: You knew, you knew it was over when Oklahoma State, I believe Poop said this was their quarterback broke his foot. I mean the moment that happened, you just thought, yeah, the Ducks are about to put sixty on them. I mean, Dan Landing the day the night, the night before Friday night, around eleven pm Central Time, sends me a video of him, him and Eugene Oregon in his Bronco top down with Bruce Springsteen playing and you just know, hey, Landing's got the juice right now, he's the juice.

00:28:12
Speaker 2: And again it's like Oklahoma State, say, might not be a good football team, Like it's Oklahoma State, like they're in the Big twelve, Like they mopped them the way Nebraska did. Akron Oregon making Orgon Oklahoma State look like that.

00:28:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, it is crazy, no doubt about it. Monitors, now off.

00:28:27
Speaker 2: Who's their quarterback? Who's Oregon Dante Moore looks good? Yea, they got they got they got talent out there.

00:28:39
Speaker 1: Coreyan Moore, five star. Yeah, he's a stun The Oregon Ducks Orgon Ducks seem like they've got a little something going. Oh yeah, Julian Sam going fifteen for fifteen to start his game off, Like Ohio State, would you know what? They're good again, that's just what happens, man. That's a that's a good ball club. Can to State. On the other hand, no good A.

00:29:04
Speaker 2: I mean this panic mode.

00:29:06
Speaker 1: It's you gotta be army painting like salut our troops. We love him, thank you for giving us free. But my god, you've got to figure it out in Kansas State.

00:29:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's full panic button out there in Kansas.

00:29:19
Speaker 1: State, full pantic button Alabama, big big bounce back g against u El Monroe. I think who was that number five? He had three touchdowns.

00:29:27
Speaker 2: Uh, the third got called back unfortunately, but Jeremy Bernard, yeah yeah, put a c on his chest.

00:29:33
Speaker 1: My god, look good out of the pocket. The landy Walker was giving you a little hell on that. He came out of pocket.

00:29:38
Speaker 8: Put a color.

00:29:40
Speaker 1: But Lenny knows how to play.

00:29:42
Speaker 2: Sometimes he just wants to say stuff, and then he'll see the tape and then he gave.

00:29:48
Speaker 1: You want to reflect on Delaney wanting to say stuff. Look look back at the stream when he's giving us a pump up speech. He telling us all to do our job. When we're sitting in a room.

00:29:55
Speaker 2: I mean, you got to do your job.

00:30:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, you do your job, You do your job. I'm thinking of myself, bro. Yeah, yeah, we're playing, come on, we were We're not doing nothing, I know, but we're doing our part. By you know, I was getting upset about the gamelan. I was getting upset about the game plan. I pot and Dylan didn't deserve that.

00:30:20
Speaker 7: Maybe that should be something whenever we're streaming and it's someone's team related to the bus. If you're down, Delaney might have to just give a pump up speech, might.

00:30:29
Speaker 2: Have to Yeah, you, I will say it was a little little disappointing scene you tapped out in the third quarter of the way you were coming out of halftime.

00:30:37
Speaker 1: They'll tell you what it's. You see amount of injuries happening, and you see the way the game is being called. It's like, I'm not thinking about this game as much as I'm thinking of the future. We're seeing so many guys get hurt. Yeah, I was very disappointed in how that game just went about and how they handled it. Yeah, I just yeah, I was pissed. I always pissed. Man, I was not happy.

00:31:01
Speaker 2: Say, we still got two more quarters out here. This is right, right, it is a one score ball game, right now.

00:31:07
Speaker 1: You're right, You're You're absolutely right.

00:31:09
Speaker 2: I think score coming out of one of the.

00:31:11
Speaker 1: Core values of bust with the boys, you know, team over me, and I was not doing that. I was not doing that. Yeah, it was tough. Yeah, I heard snicker in the back between you and Jack Garrett losing money.

00:31:26
Speaker 3: I did.

00:31:26
Speaker 8: I took with you, I rode.

00:31:28
Speaker 1: With you, did heartbreak Hotel but yeah, two weeks, two.

00:31:35
Speaker 2: Weeks until as the game was in and he goes, hey, I put money on Oklahoma. Did he That's.

00:31:44
Speaker 4: What he said.

00:31:45
Speaker 2: I don't know if he actually did. Yeah.

00:31:46
Speaker 1: Well, apparently he's been gambler with him. Heartbreak. What do we got here?

00:31:53
Speaker 8: We want to talk about the Tennessee Titans.

00:31:55
Speaker 3: I love to.

00:31:56
Speaker 1: I want to talk about all the games. But this monitor is up. Okay, is great? Yeah, yeah, let's talk about the Tennessee Titans real quick, Jack, How do you feel I have.

00:32:09
Speaker 8: A list I'd like to that I wrote.

00:32:11
Speaker 2: That please, yeah, game please. One of the Tennessee Titans fans in the country speaking right.

00:32:17
Speaker 8: Now, going out.

00:32:18
Speaker 7: Yeah, there's about five of us now left, so and Garrett's one of them as well.

00:32:22
Speaker 1: So Tennessee Titans fan base is on the bus right now.

00:32:25
Speaker 4: Yep.

00:32:26
Speaker 7: Playing a mile high obviously, you guys know playing there probably one of the most difficult places to play in the NFL. Elevation rookie quarterback going in a lot of question marks everywhere.

00:32:35
Speaker 8: I thought cam Ward.

00:32:36
Speaker 7: Looked very poised. I think the issues do not rely with cam Ward. The main issues rely on Brian Callahan. I know that he's a friend of the show. So I'm gonna try and be very nice about this.

00:32:47
Speaker 1: Let me get a quick time, friend of the show. Let me get a quick time. Okay, there's a friend of the show.

00:32:53
Speaker 4: I know.

00:32:53
Speaker 1: We live in National, Tennessee.

00:32:54
Speaker 8: I know, I know.

00:32:55
Speaker 7: We both played for my Twitter and see what I have to say on this show. I'm I will be nice about this. I'm not gonna say the F word. I'm not I'm gonna say fuck, but I'm not gonna say VF word. So to start off last drive going into half, we have forty five seconds and we're backed up on the ten yard line and we decided to throw three random screens and he throws it into the ground. Zero time wasted on the clock. We punt, Broncos go down and score first touchdown of the half. We could have gone into half six to three. Horrible play calling. What are we doing? Run three half back drives, go to half. Be happy that you're up six to three. Game plan, get more things ready for cam Ward anyways, not challenging alec Aomaner's catch unbelievable. In the press conference CALLI is saying that you have to have not only a body part, but a leg. I'm trying to be nice. Does Callahan know the rules of the NFL? So let me read you what defines a catch in the NFL. Catches completely when the players secures the ball in their hands or arms before it touches the ground, obviously, but it touches the ground in bounds with both feet or any part of the body other than the hands. Why are we not at least throwing the red flag challenge it. His elbow was clearly at some point right there. I know it could have been indisputable, but at that point we might as well because that was a huge pickup fumble recovery. On the punt, what do we do? We do not run the ball to set up a field goal when we're already down on the thirty yard line. We take like a fifteen yard sack, get pushed back half to punt. The penalties that we got that goes on the players, obviously. Yeah, there was an all time graphic that was offensive yards I think was one hundred and thirty one. Penalty yards was one hundred and twenty nine or something in that realm. That's tough. I think there are question marks about Callahan. If you look on Twitter Tennessee Titans fan base not to please.

00:35:01
Speaker 8: We'll leave it at that one. We'll leave it on a positive note.

00:35:05
Speaker 7: Shout out to Joey Sly getting all offensive points for the Titans.

00:35:10
Speaker 8: Truly a beast. And that's really all I have to say.

00:35:13
Speaker 7: I'm I have more things to say, but because he's a friend of the show, we'll see what happens. We got the home opener this week against a very scary Chargers team, So if people think that narrative is not gonna go away, I'll be there though. I'm gonna be in that stadium and I'm pumped to see some football and Nissan Stadium. But yeah, that's really all I have to say. Before I get.

00:35:40
Speaker 1: Kid Moore the poise, he looks ready to go. He had a couple of rookie mistakes. You talked about.

00:35:47
Speaker 8: Wide receivers got to catch.

00:35:48
Speaker 1: They got they gotta catch the balls backed up in your end zone inside the ten yard line. Not running the ball. That is a big no no from a from a play clock perspective. If you are a quarterback and you have to throw the ball, you have to make quick decisions with that football. Get small chunks. You're not necessarily trying to play for points. You're playing to have a better field when you're all backed up. If you have to punt, put yourself. Johnny Hecker in a very bad position when he had to punt. That ball ended up turning Bronco points. Second half turnover by the Titans. I think the Titans defense played very well yesterday. I think they had a lot of questions marks at the cornerback position. Snead, he came out a little bit. They kept trying Buddy number twenty nine. I apologize for not remembering his name. Jarvis thought he stood up when he needed to stand up, and he did a good job. Jeffrey Simmons dumb ass penalty at the end of the game. However, the kid was a wrecking ball all day long. Scary they're getting home with four. That's something you're excited with when you get the turnover and you're basically in that gray what Verbel likes to call as the fringe area. Yes, you need to run the football, but if you're Kim Ward and you're a play is called where you have to throw the football. You cannot take a sack to take yourself out of scoring range. You have to get rid of the football. You have to dirt the football or take a check down, but you can't hold the ball for a very long time. Protection was not great.

00:37:06
Speaker 2: J C.

00:37:06
Speaker 1: Latham I think was he pulled. He kind of got hurt. I don't think. Yeah, I don't think he was pulled. But six sacks on the game, a lot of penalties. From an offensive standpoint, you don't feel great about it. You don't feel great about but it is the first game, it is Mile High Stadium. Let's have a little bit of optimism going into Week two and they're playing the Chargers.

00:37:22
Speaker 2: Yeah.

00:37:23
Speaker 4: Charge.

00:37:23
Speaker 2: There was even optimism on the last drive where they can go in and potentially tie it up, and you get some drops by a big time player in Calvin Ridley, which is brutal, brutal.

00:37:33
Speaker 1: Let's rip through a couple of these NFL things we're all waiting on. Greg Olsen. Eagles survived the Cowboys twenty four to twenty. Your boy took the Cowboys plus eight and a half. Dak Prescott, He's never thrown an interception in Philadelphia. That streak continues. I think from an offensive standpoint, Cowboys look good. I mean, you talk about egos, I mean, I think they had a an off day as far as like what they could put together from a from a defensive perspective, and I think a lot of that comes from Jalen Carter from the before they even have the first nap from.

00:38:02
Speaker 2: Just undisciplined football that how how many penalty do they have a shitload of penalties? Just undisciplined ball?

00:38:08
Speaker 4: Now.

00:38:08
Speaker 2: I do think the delay kind of threw off the momentum because I think they just got a turnover and then they end up going through and out after the long delay. But just very uncharacteristic style game, uh for the Eagles. I thought Dallas played their asses off. Dak looked really good and they were there, bro like that's one Yeah, Ceedee Lamb dropping those balls is tough because he's a superstar. He's somebody who know has just been beating himself up because he's like, this game's on me because he has that type of elite talent that's I couldn't After that game, I was like, Yo, Dallas should have won that football game.

00:38:46
Speaker 1: Dallas should have won that football game. Yeah, Ceedee Land, I'm sure he's he's taking this week extremely personally when it comes to the preparation going into their next game. He I mean, but he had over one hundred yards receiving. He had two drops and three plays at the end of the game. The last the last player.

00:39:01
Speaker 2: Drops though, but he I think those.

00:39:04
Speaker 1: Drops are tough the for the just in the last drive alone, he's going into the middle of the field with the safety barreling down on him. Should have been a catch. He's paid to make that catch. However, it's a very difficult catch. The last one, Dak Prescott put a great touch on the ball. I thought, I did an amazing job, put a little arc on it. However, it's a little far in front of him. CD being the superstar he is, a lot of times he goes out and gets that ball. Count that as a drop. But buddy, if you're a Cowboys, you're like you got a little bit of optimism. Because the Eagles are the most staged team, if not for the Baltimore Ravens in the entire NFL. They they looked good. I thought they did a better job than people expected against the run. I thought Kenny Clark had himself a nice night. I thought Dante Fowler did a great job against Jordaniye a lot a few times, got it getting pressure.

00:39:48
Speaker 2: There's second played really well. Yeah, because I went back and I was like, you know, part of me is like Jalen hurts. All he does is run around like there's got to be guys open. I'm sitting there reviewing everything and Jalen's making like Dallas had everybody locked up to where they're taking away his reads. Dallas did have had a great game plan on doubling Aj a lot of the times. Because Aj only had that one catch, really one target. Jalen played really well protecting the football and not turning it over running when he needed to run. He beat him with his legs because Dallas's back end did a really good job to where you get coverage sacks in those situations. Dallas. Dallas, I think is spicy shoddy. I think as a head coach, everybody was kind of wondering what he would be like. There was a whole lot of expectation for myself. But even on the first in the first half to where they're driving him. Be more situationally aware, Dallas, whereas in the past or tossing the ball to the rep they're not really executing at a high level as far as the operation goes to where it seemed like they had a swagger and Dallas went into Philly expecting to win that game. I felt like you saw it on all the players' faces. There's no blinking, none of it. They're pissed leaving that game, which is I love to actually see with Dallas, because I didn't know what to expect with Dallas with all the drama that they've had with trading away Michael Parsons hero a whole lot shoddy new head coach, and didn't really know what to expect. But I thought Dallas played well.

00:41:05
Speaker 1: I loved Schottenhammer's press conference when he first took over. He was marrying the rom with the pass. That was kind of his main vocal point that he was talking about, and he showed it in his game plan. He started running the ball frequently. They started to catch a little uh momentum when it came to winning first and second down. He added in a lot of play action pass got Dak move in a little bit. You know, at the end of the day, the thing that fires me up the most about the Dallas Cowboys, at the end of the half, you have a two minute situation, you have thirty eight seconds on the clock, and we're streaming this game and I'm watching at sorry, thirty eight seconds on the clock. I'm watching that take down. I'm thinking to myself, why the fuck are you not calling a timeout situation. Turns out they already did call timeout, the clock was all messed up. They end up getting three points out of that. That is the kind of stuff that uned from the Dallas Cowboys. You have all the distractions in the world that we've talked about at nauseum, but when it comes to situational football, the Cowboys is the team I look at like they never do the right thing when the right thing is needed. From a heady standpoint, and Seattenneimer had those guys prepared to get three points going into half, which was massive in that game. I think I think the Cowboys, I mean pressures and sacks. Wise, they're gonna miss Parsons a lot, but from a defensive standpoint, I think statistically they will be better.

00:42:21
Speaker 2: That's that's my get what the stat was. But somebody had brought up that it was when they played the Eagles last year with the healthy Michael Parsons, like there were you know, no sacks and I don't know if it was five pressures or not, but they had more production out of their pass.

00:42:37
Speaker 1: Rush this week. I know that week that's that's the same. It was like one sack and five pressures. That was a Michael Parsons against the Eagles last year. That's the same amount of stats they had this year. They had the same exact stats back to back with Parsons without.

00:42:50
Speaker 2: Parsons, right, so the production is still the same, Like they're still getting over the quarterback and getting those covered sacks.

00:42:56

Speaker 3: I got off my Red Eye. I was in Seattle last night for the opener of Seahawks forty nine ers Red Eyed home, jumped on Portnoy's new show on Fox and obviously looking forward to chatting with you guys. So it's been a uh, it's been a big morning.

00:45:15
Speaker 2: Are you going in? Is this week one for the youth football team? And please tell us the name of the team, like, well, we're gonna we're going to be following this thing very closely all year long, because you're calling on my season.

00:45:26
Speaker 3: This might be my favorite thing that I'm gonna do all year. I cannot wait to give you guys recaps on this wild world of youth football. We are two and oh. We've played two games. We have a bye. We have a bye this week.

00:45:38
Speaker 2: The entire squestimer.

00:45:40
Speaker 3: We're actually out of town, the kids going like this camp retreat for three days, so we don't play, so we are completely off and uh yeah, we've gotten off to a pretty good start. We're two and oh. We got we got a good team coming up after the bye week, so we got some work to do. But uh yeah, so far, so far, so good.

00:45:57
Speaker 2: What's the mascot name.

00:45:59
Speaker 3: We're the Nights. So we're the Charlotte Christian Nights.

00:46:01
Speaker 2: Charlotte Christian Knights. Now do you give when you're approaching a bye week? Are you letting them get out of the building and enjoying their vacation time? Are you still bringing them in and you got to do some self scouting? What's the staff doing on the week of the bye week? And then what are you doing with your players? Because you know in the NFL, it's like, hey, are we going to get this vacation time off or is coach going to keep us around your thoughts?

00:46:23
Speaker 3: Yeah, So if it was up to me, we'd practice every day. Yeah, but the reason we have a bye is the kids aren't here. So the kids, we took them to school this morning. When my wife took them to kids, I was flying across the country. They went to school this morning, boarded buses and they took them away. So they're going to be gone. They don't come back until Wednesday afternoon, so we'll have no practice today, Tuesday or Wednesday, we'll be back to regular school on Thursday. We'll practice after school like usual, start prepping. We'll kind of do like a hybrid corrections from last week, get back to our first fundamentals, get back to all of our stuff. We always start with us before we worry about them. That's kind of like our model. So we'll do our corrections, we'll do our fundamentals. We'll do all of our stuff on Thursday, and then we'll start getting into game prep for the team that we play next week. And then Friday we'll do. We'll come in, we'll do like an hour and a half practice. We'll watch the game film from our first two weeks, like in person in the classroom. I'll make like a mini cutup of like the plays we've got to watch that we've got to correct off of. And so that'll rap. We'll be off on the weekend and then we'll get back to work on Monday. So that's our our buy schedule. We'll get two good days in this week.

00:47:32
Speaker 1: Greg, speaking of a sting on the bye a week. You got a lot of guys you start too, and know you have a very early buy in this season. How do you stop your players from getting bike heads and feeling like, hey, we're going to roll over everybody this year.

00:47:42
Speaker 3: Yeah, we're pretty good at that. We're pretty good at like the humbling approach. Like we we've played okay, I wouldn't say we've played great. I think we have a we have a good team, We have really talented kids, and like we're tough and we play hard like all those things. We've been a little slop, so we The nice thing is, you know, it's like it's no different than what we saw yesterday and week one of the NFL. There's a lot of teams that walked into the locker room one and zero and the when that euphoria kind of wears off and you kind of take a deep breath and you come back in and you watch the film, you're like, oh my god, we're not that good. Like, we got a lot of things to do, but it's a lot easier being one to oh coaching off wins. That's the same thing for us. So we've got a lot of things we need to get better at. We've got a lot of things that we can improve on our operations, some ball security. But the one thing I will say, our kids play hard. Like our kids are physical, they run to the ball. We're not always in the right spot. We've we overrun some plays. We don't fit the right gaps in the run game. You know, we can coach all that. We run, we hit, we tackle, and and that's that's what we've stressed all summer. As the year goes on, we'll clean up the operation. We'll clean up some of the details, the penalties, the blown assignments, like that's part of being young. I mean, we saw that yesterday with professionals. So that part we always expect early on. But the one thing we do do is we play fast and we play hard.

00:49:09
Speaker 2: Is the team next week? How are they? What is their record? Is this team you got circled on the schedule right now.

00:49:14
Speaker 3: Yeah, they're they're undefeated. They're a local, they're a local. They're high school is like a local power. So they're a K through twelve private school like we are. Their high school team is really talented. They've got kids going all over the country for college, and they run a really good program. It's called Providence Day School. Chad Greer, Will Greer's father is the coach, and so they do a nice job. They've got a nice high school program. So you know, like anything, it trickles down. Kids come to that school as middle schoolers because they know it's a good high school. That's kind of like what our school is.

00:49:48
Speaker 7: Like.

00:49:49
Speaker 3: Our high school is really talented. We're a little smaller than them, we don't have as many kids, but we're good. Our running backs going to Nebraska.

00:49:55
Speaker 2: Will by the way, yes, I remember you saying that on the bus shot out of Nebraska, big red looking nice.

00:50:01
Speaker 3: Yeah, good win, nice job. But anyway, so yeah, it's a it's a big game. They're they're right up the street from us, They're a mile away. It's a rivalry game, and we got to come ready.

00:50:10
Speaker 2: To play rivalry game. I love too how he's he's doing a good job of lifting up the opponent and not giving him any any bolton board material going into the game.

00:50:19
Speaker 1: Week, No doubt about it. When you play this game, you talk about you're playing two teams that are undefeated, and this both high school teams are big.

00:50:26
Speaker 3: Now.

00:50:26
Speaker 1: I know there's been rumors strolling around the Charlotte County area saying that when Greg Olson's kids are old enough, he might be taking you over the head coaching job at high school. Those are just rumors at this point.

00:50:35
Speaker 2: They're on the message boards. I've been seeing the message boards. I got to log in. I got a subscription that you.

00:50:40
Speaker 1: Dive in those message boards going hot, right, they're still hot. It's called Reddit. They get this ship going.

00:50:46
Speaker 2: Now.

00:50:47
Speaker 3: I haven't been on Reddit because it's toxic, but I'll tell you, growing up as a kid man, you wanted to know where you stood in the New Jersey high school. You went to like nj dot com. You signed up for a forum and you'd be like is anybody talking about me? Yeah?

00:51:00
Speaker 1: Yeah da. Dave Lawan was big time on m GO Blue, which was their message for him. Every single week. He had to find out what what the whole community thought of Luan.

00:51:13
Speaker 3: Now you don't have to look. Now, you don't have to look very far people.

00:51:16
Speaker 1: Oh no, yeah, the myrtle will tell you anything you have to know. But you play, you play this team. There, you play this team, you beat this team? Are you kick lead a couple of guys maybe going over to some of those kids saying, hey, you want to be a part of a championship program. This is the place for you. You're only a mile awhile not.

00:51:33
Speaker 3: On the field.

00:51:34
Speaker 1: No, yeah, but but once the juice boxes are in hand and the orange slices are giving out oranges.

00:51:38
Speaker 3: Once there passed out, then it's freaking It.

00:51:41
Speaker 1: Looks pretty good out there. I'll tell you what, man, we could use you at cornerback next year.

00:51:45
Speaker 3: You know what. And this is the God's honest truth. And you guys know like the high school world nowadays is the wild West. I mean, there are kids transferring during the season, there's kids transferring a week before the season. There's kids that are going to three or four high schools over their four year high school journey and not even blinking. So the idea of movement and the idea of kids bouncing around is we all understand is just the reality. I will say though, like we are not like calling I'm not calling kids out of the blue and Pete pleading for them to come to our school. We do hear from a lot of families that reach out to us, reach out through the school. What we want are our recruiting. I'm just speaking from the middle school. Our recruiting is when you come watch the games, you watch our team play and you watch your team play. And this isn't always the case. I'm just saying this is our goal. We want you to walk out and be like, my kid loves football. I want him to be coached there like I want him to be on that team. They're organized, they play hard, they're fast, they're multiple. Their kids are playing real, real football that I could see being a good springboard as my kid gets into high scho like to me, that's our recruiting. And we've lost games. We haven't like, we haven't won every game by one hundred. That's the oh what we're trying to build the groundswell we're trying to do. That's our recruiting, and then if you reach out to us and you're interested in coming, we'll see what we can do about getting you in and going through that whole process. But we're not going to apologize for that. Like we're gonna try to put a brand of football that if you care about football, and you your kid cares about football, we want you to see us and say that's where our kid needs to be.

00:53:31
Speaker 2: If if if your team's worth the shit, your social media person right now, they need to be clipping that running it for whenever recruits do come into the office, that's the first thing they see in here. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. We'll start kind of building that from the inside out.

00:53:42
Speaker 1: I'll say this you talked about you. When people want to come in, we will say, we'll see what we can do if they can fit into the culture. Have you had to go through that as a head coach where you have to look at another kid and be like, hey, there's twelve other teams in this league. They're gonna watch you, but unfortunately it's not this team.

00:53:59
Speaker 3: Well, typically the kids that want to come are we know are pretty good players. But at our school, and this is a credit to the school, we don't have a lot of turnover. And it's not a very big school. So we've got like one hundred and ten one hundred and fifteen kids in a grade, give or take, so it's a it's a relatively small school. So there's only so many spots, right, you know, you'd say there's fifty boys fifty to sixty boys in a grade on average, So there's just there's not a lot of numbers. There's not a lot of empty seats, you know, so we could have we could get twenty new kids to come play football for us next year if we wanted to. Like, it's not hard, it's just hard getting everybody in because kids don't leave our school. So there's a couple spots, and obviously admissions does a nice job trying to spread them around in multi sports and guys and girls and performing arts, and there's a lot of mouths that need to be fed. So we are not at a school some of the schools around us that we compete against. If a good kid wants to come, it's a one hundred percent admission they're in. That's not the case at our school, So we don't get everybody. We probably don't get half the kids who want to come play for us, and that's just the nature of the business. We get as many as we can. The vast majority of our team that we coach, our kids that are just at our school. They've been there since they were in kindergarten, They've worked their way up and now they're in seventh and eighth grade and they're eligible to play on the team. Of our fifty kids, I'd say forty plus have gone the school there their whole life.

00:55:29
Speaker 2: Greg, are you doing a good job of shaking the right hands, going to the right booster events to make sure whenever a kid does come across your radar, you're doing everything you can to get this kid on your football team.

00:55:42
Speaker 3: I'm the booster.

00:55:44
Speaker 2: Oh okay, all right, so some letter bags.

00:55:47
Speaker 3: It's easy.

00:55:48
Speaker 2: A follow up question, if you guys have a defensive of bad or a poor defensive performance, will you make Luke Keikley available to the media next week on busting with the Boys.

00:55:59
Speaker 3: Yes, yes, I think we can get Luke signed up. I think we might have to do like a like a two shot and we'll get we'll get yes, give some analysis of his of his defensive unit. I think that's a great idea.

00:56:10
Speaker 2: We got to get down there, bro, I gotta I got a coach.

00:56:13
Speaker 3: As the head coach. I I gotta stand at the podium questions.

00:56:17
Speaker 2: You guys know that, but we'll give you a list we got we listen, we gotta speak to Key cle Right.

00:56:21
Speaker 1: If things don't go the way and it didn't go away because of the defensive game plan. You can say all the right things in the world, but at the end of the day, the media wants to talk to the personal responsible for the downfall.

00:56:30
Speaker 3: If the running backs aren't getting they have to face that fire.

00:56:32
Speaker 2: If the running backs aren't getting above fifty on the ground. Jonathan Stewart, we got to see him at the podium.

00:56:37
Speaker 1: Were you able to see uh? Syracuse get beat and Fran Brown after the game made his team run sprints.

00:56:43
Speaker 4: I did.

00:56:44
Speaker 3: I didn't love it. You didn't love it.

00:56:46
Speaker 1: That's not you.

00:56:46
Speaker 3: Didn't love it, that's not me like and again, I'm all about accountability. I'm all about Hey, we have a certain standard here. We didn't live up to it, and you got to make it known. This is college football is big boy ball now like that, there's no, it's not for the faint of heart. I don't love the idea of doing it right on the game field in front of the crowd. It feels a little like, look at me, we care more than anybody else. Like I think you can get your message across to your team when you're not happy with the performance, which all coaches do. Like I've been on both sides of that conversation. I just don't know if it needs to be wind sprints after the game.

00:57:27
Speaker 2: I don't know, right, yeah, you'd be able to handle it in the house like it's still gonna get handled.

00:57:33
Speaker 1: It's a touch embarrassing too. You go back to look at two thousand and four Catch a Shadow High School versus Pinnacle Peak. We beat them thirty one to three on Cox seven, and they were running sprints after the game. It's demoralizing. You sit there and you line next week. Can't even tell you. I'm always onto the next I'm focused on my team and my team only.

00:57:48
Speaker 2: Girl, I can't high school openers. We had an opener and we were taking you got you got the buses going up to Oakville and we had a couple guys throwing out like apples and like different types of like trash, like littering, and our head coach before the game comes in and catches wind of who's littering doing what entire team had to do gassers ten gassers before the game.

00:58:13
Speaker 1: He doesn't want to win. We got mopped, yeah, I mean obviously your gas.

00:58:18
Speaker 2: Yeah, we got mopped. That was a That was a week one opener. I was a freshman. I always say that, all right.

00:58:27
Speaker 3: So let's ask ourselves what what was the objective of the exercise? Like I always think back, like, okay, what was the intent? Forget what the perception is, forget all that, Like, what was the internal intent of making that decision? Did you think that your kids after they ran, we're going to walk off the field and say, you know what, coach cares? So again, I think Frand does a great job, So I'm not like personally attacking right job, Like what did they think? Like, all right, all the mistakes that we made, guys, we can't do them again because I'm embarrassed. We're we're trying to embarrass the kids. We're we're trying to make them say I don't want to run gassers because I'm physically tired. So I'm just gonna play better out of fear of being punished. Like I want to show the outside world how much we care, So I'm going to.

00:59:14
Speaker 2: Do it now.

00:59:15
Speaker 3: Like I don't know what the end game was that was the fuel of the decision. So like that's the question that if you can't answer, I don't know what the real reasoning behind it was, you know what I mean, Like, put yourself in the mind of those kids. You're walking into the locker room, and what's your first thought.

00:59:33
Speaker 1: You're probably pissed off?

00:59:36
Speaker 3: This is what we're doing it.

00:59:37
Speaker 1: I mean, it's crazy. I mean, I'm here to play a game, Charlotte, Yeah.

00:59:40
Speaker 2: Middle school.

00:59:41
Speaker 3: I want to power for football here, And I like, do you think it's going to get your kids to study harder, try harder, play hard? I don't know. I would go back and reevaluate if I don't like my performance in a certain game. How is my practice? Did we practice the right stuff? Are we meeting the right way? Did we walk through the right way? Are we installing too much? Do we have too much x's and o's and not enough fundamental time or meeting times? Being cut short. Let's go back and look at our installs. Let's go back and look at the personnel we're putting in the game. Like, I just think there's so many things that you could check off before you say, you know what, the answer to our issue is we have to run after practice.

01:00:18
Speaker 2: I don't know I have.

01:00:22
Speaker 1: I'm absolutely with you. And one of the one team that's having that conversation today is the Florida Gator because they just got upset against USF by last second field goal. Now that USF team has now been a ranked Boise State team and a ranked Florida team, and they're headed down south to your team, University of Miami. What are your thoughts going into that game? Are you a little nervous with the Bulls?

01:00:44
Speaker 4: Yeah?

01:00:44
Speaker 3: I mean when I when I certainly when I looked at Miami's schedule to start the season, of course, the Notre Dame week one sticks out, and then you know you always look at you know, Florida, Florida stay and you know in the ACC, and you know, do they have Clemson on the schedule, and who's your cross you know, who's your inner conference. Now that they've changed the ACC, it's like a mixed bag of who you play each year. I don't think any of us said all that USF game, that's going to be a bear that you sit here, you know, like you said, they'd be two ranked opponents, just be Florida. It could be you either get them on a high of high and they're riding that momentum into into your place and you're in for a fight. Or they just had the greatest win and you know, we'll call it program history. I don't know exactly enough about their program about whether or not it is or not, but let's just say it's one of the best wins in the last ten years of that program for any of these kids. Is there a little bit of a regression? Is there? Do you catch them kind of on the low end of this huge peak energy wise and then they crash a little bit. So I think it could go either way, But I certainly think if you're Miami, you're doing everything Mario Chris Ball is doing everything in his power to prop these guys up. Show every win, show every postgame press conference, show them celebrating in the locker room, show their coaches running out of the coaches booth in front of the Dallas that was awesome, Like I'm showing all that, like are you gonna let this happen at our place? Like are we willing to be on the other side of a moment someone else's moment? Like it all depends on how you guys get to work. Like that's the messaging I'm sure Mario is doing.

01:02:17
Speaker 2: I love that. Yeah, that juices me. The question for you if you were to see one of your defensive linemen spin on somebody before the game and then get disqualified, how are you handling that as a head coach? Seeing Jalen Carter do it against Dallas Jalen that that's a that's a big boy. I'm curious how that all went down the next day, Like in that organization, Jalen spinning on back Prescott.

01:02:42
Speaker 3: I mean, I'm not fighting him.

01:02:46
Speaker 2: Hey, big Dom, can we can we figure this out?

01:02:52
Speaker 3: Listen? There needs to be accountability and standards, and I think what you hope is the case. And just from being around you know, from talking to Sirianni and covering a million of their games and just knowing how they operate, my outsider perspective is you don't need to do anything new. The standards and expectations of the roster. I'm assuming and from all measures, you don't have that success that they're not have been set. Your locker room probably has the personalities that, hey, we have a certain way of holding ourselves accountable around here. That's unacceptable. We don't tolerate it. I think there'll be an internal punishment and internal you know, accountability type conversation. But I think the guy like Sirianni's going to attack it head on. I think when you're a coach that's had his level of success, I think the coach the players respect him. It's an easier conversation for a coach to confront a player and hold them accountable when that coach has earned it through the good, the bad, the ups and downs. He's in the fight with you. He's in the grind with you. Like those guys are, they're heard more. I think if it's a coach that guys don't have a lot of respect, or a coach that hasn't proven to you he's got your back and he's not, I think those conversations get a little bit more like defensive from the player side, and there's a little more combative nature. So my gut is They're gonna handle that internally and it won't be an issue. There's no question he was flat out wrong. I give him credit. He owned up to it. He didn't try to excuse it at all in the postgame. But like that can't happen, that's inexcusable. I think the culture, locker room and coaching wise in Philly, though, is prepared to handle those kind of things and not let it become bigger than it needs to be.

01:04:33
Speaker 1: Turning your attention to the game that you called yesterday, You're in Seattle watching the forty nine ers, who, by all accounts, people have kind of started to like look away from the forty nine ers for the last couple of years, always been like this is a Super Bowl contending team, and then going into this game, I hear you talk a lot about like, hey, get back to winning the moment, get back to winning first down. Brock Purdy goes out, he has two interceptions to a couple of bad interceptions, could have very well had an interception on his go ahead touchdown against the tight end with the tight end who had his first four career receptions. What are you seeing from the forty nine ers offense that gives you hope and then a couple of things and maybe give you a little worry going on the back end.

01:05:10
Speaker 3: Well, it gives me hope. Is Trent Williams is out there at left tackle and he wasn't. And we talked about this a little bit. I mean, and you know the pet position probably better than I do. But like when you talk about the mount rushmore of left tackles, besides obviously yourself, Trent Williams is as good as it gets, right.

01:05:25
Speaker 1: He's right, He's right up there with me.

01:05:26
Speaker 3: I get all you know, you get, you get what I'm saying, right, So I got you. Get Trent back playing left tackle. McCaffrey got thirty one touches, seem to have left the game no worse for wear. Obviously that's a huge benefit. They lose Kittle and Purty. I think was up and down. I think when he needed to be at his best he was. That last drive. The throw to Pierce in the double move is huge. The scramble, I'm with you, was a when he threw it. I thought it was going to be picked reek wooland just misplayed it. But you don't apologize you win. However, you have to so I'm a little I'm encouraged because they've got a couple of their dudes out there again. Last year it was kind of Purty and he had Kittle and then it was really a mixed bag around him. Everyone was pretty much out. It's encouraging there, and on the same side, I'm a little concerned, like do they have enough firepower? How long is Kittle going to be out with the hamstring?

01:06:20
Speaker 2: Right?

01:06:20
Speaker 3: You know, Pierceall is a good player, but they're not going to get Iu back for a couple of weeks, may probably over a month. Like do they have enough juice or does Purty continue to have to pull it out? Does he kind of have to continue to carry that offense on his back? Which I'm not saying you can't, it's just a it's a very hard model to play NFL quarterback when every play is reliant on you. So I think they've got some things offensively they're still trying to figure out. I think the defense was much improved. I think Yah Saw is just a flat out ball coach. Yeah, that guy is just he can coach defense everywhere he's ever been. So I think that was an encouraging sign that they held you know, Seattle to thirteen. I thought that was probably the biggest storyline aside from the ending by Purty on that last drive.

01:07:04
Speaker 1: Yeah, one of my favorite things about Brock Purty is throwing those two interceptions and not flinching kind By every account, could have just gone on the toilet. March's his team down and gets a touchdown. That's unbelievable.

01:07:14
Speaker 2: That's growth too, that is great, that's growth.

01:07:16
Speaker 1: That is growth. Yeah.

01:07:17
Speaker 2: I have a topic I would love to just bring up for all of us.

01:07:20
Speaker 1: Oh, is this on the game we're talking about right now?

01:07:22
Speaker 2: No, okay, if you're still saying on forty nine ers, go ahead and get this. This is a different game.

01:07:26
Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to get your thoughts on Jackson Smith and Jigball how I mean is absolutely electric. He had two fumbles in the game, but he was literally all over the place and that Sam Darnold did an amazing job. From if you're on the Seattle side, if you're in that coaching staff, how are you coaching them today? Being like, guys, listen, the scoreboard didn't say well, want it, but it seemed like from the twenties to the twenty they did a very good job of moving the ball.

01:07:48
Speaker 3: Yeah, they did. They moved the ball well. They've got to finish, right. I think both teams, you know, Seattle moved the ball well late. I think through the first half the game, it was a little sluggish on offense. Late in the game, the offense found their groove a little bit more. I would have liked to have seen them be a little bit more aggressive. On the fourth down there at the end of the game, so there was like three three and change left on the clock, Cooper Cup just got tackled short of the first down sticks by like a foot. It was ten to ten. They settled for a field goal. Didn't love that decision. Would have loved to have seen them be a little bit more aggressive there on offense. But what Seattle the positive is. I thought their defense looked good. I think last year they finished the last half the season that was the top five defense. I think Mike McDonald's a hell of a defensive coach. They've got some real dudes at all three levels. I think they've got a chance by years in to be a top five to seven defense in the entire league over the course of the whole season. Offensively, there's going to be growing pains, right. They got Clint Kubiak, new offensive coordinator, completely different than Grubb from last year, who came from Washington who's now in Alabama, complete different philosophy. Obviously, they get Sam Darnold, completely different approach to quarterback than Gino. You know you want under center, the deep play action, the accuracy downfield, all the things that made Sam so good last year with Kevin O'Connell and Minnesota is a lot of what Kubiak's trying to bring to Seattle. In Minnesota he's trying to bring to Seattle. So I think both teams offensively probably have a lot of things that they want to get better at. But I think both teams walk out of that and say our defense played well enough to win the game. I think Jackson Smith and Jigbu is a stud. We had some questions about how they were going to use him. He's always been kind of an interior slot guy with DK and Tyler when they were all there together. Are they going to move him to the outside. He did most of his damage again yesterday from that slot position. He is a tough matchup, He's got great feeling zones. He's a nightmare to play one on one and man he catches the ball, he can run after catch. He I think now with DK and Tyler Gone, I think Jackson Smith and Jigba is going to turn into like that next young wave of really high level wide receivers across the league.

01:10:00
Speaker 1: Kids, if an absolute monster, will.

01:10:03
Speaker 2: I want to bring your guys attention to Miami with the Dolphins. What is your outlook on coach McDaniels as the head coach. I'll say this up front, a very good, very respected offensive mind in the NFL. But now with the resume that he has the drama that's went on in training camp from me on the outside looking in as a player, it seems like a guy that, as far as like leadership and head coachability would be more. His win of the day is if the boys like the shoes on his feet more than he does like coaching and like being a leader amongst guys who again, there's drama all over the place. You see Tua getting into it with the reporter after getting Tyreek already losing it in Game one. You see all the stuff coming out of training camp. Where do you see the pulse in Miami right now? With coach McDaniel.

01:10:57
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's a great point. I think and we all know this from the different teams we've been on, the different personalities and whether it's a coach or a player, Yes, the perception of a coach or a player in this case a coach and their behavior, their body language, their language, the way they do their press conferences, just their whole vibe and their whole the way they present themselves is always viewed through the lens of wins and losses. When you're winning, you're cool and it's fun and it's the approach, and you're relatable and it's connecting with the players and it's all positive. That exact same guy. When you're losing, it's a distraction. He's not focused on what matters. He has no discipline, he doesn't care about the important things. Right. So the unfortunate thing for a guy like McDaniels, and there's a million examples across the league of players and coaches, you fall victim to whether or not you win or lose. You can wear whatever shoes you want, you can wear glasses, you can give funny press conferences. You can be eccentric, you can be serious, you can be when Bill Belichick gave his one really like petty interviews, and they're winning Super Bowls. Man, that's just Bill Belichick. He's something. But then all of a sudden, when they weren't good, it's like he comes across in completely different and the only thing that changed was they weren't winning. So it's kind of the same idea with McDaniel's. When you're winning, you can be whatever you want to be, but just understand, if you're gonna be outside of the quote unquote box, right, you're gonna be a little atypical from what we're accustomed to seeing. Whether it's a head coach or a quarterback or whatever. Everyone has this idea of like where guys should fit into a box. If you start losing, that is going to be brought into question, and you just have to be prepared for that. I don't think McDaniel's, frankly, I don't think he cares. I can't imagine he's spending a lot of time worrying about it. His number one focus right now needs to be how can he turn to in that offense into what we saw his first couple of years in Miami, when they were innovative and high flying and throwing the ball over people's heads on every play, because for a week one performance, with all the uncertainty and speculation going into the season, that's about as bad as a gainst.

01:13:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree with you on all those fronts. It's like, you know, all of a sudden, coach wants you to tuck in your shirt if you start losing, and it's like, why, you know, why are we changing?

01:13:13
Speaker 6: Why chang?

01:13:14
Speaker 2: Yeah, and I agree with you if you got a little quirkiness or something, you're winning and losing. To me, it's like, when you're losing and it seems bad, how is the culture? How is the player?

01:13:25
Speaker 4: Like?

01:13:25
Speaker 2: What are you seeing from the Miami Dolphins that would reflect him culture wiser as a head coach? And to me, it's all the conversations you see that are public with the players, all the antics you see on the sideline again with like to rekill oh when he's losing his mind in that in that uh in the first quarter, and just all of that to me feels like, Okay, he is a little weird. I've loved like since he got there. I'm like, oh, the boy kittle. Everybody talks very highly of him. That's him coming, that's him coming as a OC, so I'm like optimistic. He's very creative offensively, he is a guy that you would love to play for because he's not that tight ass that is just on you all the time, So you would enjoy that as a player. But now it's got due. Now it's kind of felt like a point to where, Okay, he is like that, and it is okay if the entire team is rallied around him and buttoned up, and the culture seems there and the guy's a little quirky, but he seems a little quirky, and it seems like the team's kind of over the place. Yeah, very seems very much all over the place. Around'm like, okay, this could like he might maybe he's not the guy that should be in that chair. I don't know what the meetings are like. I don't know what he's like when he is checking guys, is even checking guys or is he just talking about offense the whole time or talking about play calls and everything else. I don't know those things. But just the ripple effect of seeing all the antics from the players and everything that's out there publicly surrounding a team. We know what a good culture and a good team operates like when you're losing, how everybody's butted up, has each other's back. It doesn't feel like that, Miami.

01:14:48
Speaker 1: No, with Mike McDaniels. The worst part about that is is like when you have success so early as being being a new head coach, you feel like he didn't establish his own culture, like he didn't put his thumb on the pulse say this is what we're gonna do. This is we're not gonna do. And it feels good because you're winning right away, the creativity, all the things. But when stuff starts as spirals, exactly what you said about Bill Belichick now the things that made him uniquely him kind of give like a It's like the step I would say that fark seems kind of fucked up now a little bit. That's kind of like the vibe you're getting in that sense when it comes to the Indianapolis culture. On the other side, though, they're dropping a thirty burger on there with Danny Dimes a couple of weeks ago when they made Daniel Jones to the starting quarterback for the Colts. Twitter, the whole world is burning the place to the ground now all of a sudden seems like it's a good move. Well, how do you feel if you're in Indianapolis Colts building right now.

01:15:32
Speaker 3: It's another great example. When you win, everything you do is right, everything outfit you wear is fun, Every decision you make is the right one. Like the NFL really all professional sports, but really the NFL is the ultimate example of winning cures everything. If you're having a bad day and there's chaos going on, and you've got conflict and you've got controversy, and the best thing you can do on Sunday is just go win, because everyone walks back into the locker room and into the offices in the building on Monday just takes a deep breath and all of a sudden, it's not that big of a deal. And the guy who it just it alleviates so much of the pressure. So Indianapolis is another great example. They wanted to run Shane Steichen and Ballard out of India. They wanted to run him out of the country as alone. Indianapolis, how do you draft this guy? You give up on him? How do you pick Daniel Jones? We've all seen him and they're like, yeah, guys, we drafted Anthony Richardson, it didn't work. Maybe it works somewhere else. We're taking the hit for that. I give him a lot of credit, Like that's hard to admit mistake. It's hard in the NFL. How many teams and you guys have probably been on teams like this. I know I've been around it. How many teams have an essence, signed their own demise because they refuse to admit they signed the wrong guy, they hired the wrong coach, that they just can't admit failure and say we're gonna rip the band aid off and move forward. They prolong it because are so sensitive to perception and they're so insecure that they in essence say we're gonna stick to what we trust. He's our guy, he's our guy, and then we all get fired, and we all get cut and we all lose our job. So I give him a lot of credit for trusting their instincts. Daniel Jones, in their mind gave them the best chance to win, and certainly yesterday for one week now this week, yeah, yeah, week one, they looked like they were right. And it's gonna take a lot of the heat off them in Indianapolis and across the country and all because you win, just go win and you can do anything you want.

01:17:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's it's absolutely, it's a week to week basis.

01:17:36
Speaker 2: It's like two like you we bring up when we're talking about McDaniel, and then we have the example of Bill Belichick. It's like, yeah, when the place was on fire, obviously until he got let go, but when Brady was there, anytime the place was on fire about everything, that's the one thing they did. It's like, oh, Bill chick, he's he's saying this, he's saying that, like the play, it's way worse off than what he's making.

01:17:55
Speaker 1: It seem to be.

01:17:56
Speaker 2: But New England went out there and shut everybody up immediately.

01:17:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, speaking of shutting people up, when you see Aaron Rodgers go twenty two for thirty for two hundred and forty four yards and four touchdowns, do you think to yourself, maybe I should get back out there.

01:18:10
Speaker 3: No, but I am happy for him because I don't know if anybody comes under fire more so than that guy. And I've always liked Aaron. I've always had a good relationship with Aaron. And listen, he brings on some of it himself because he frankly doesn't care, and I always respect that about him. He speaks his mind. He doesn't care if you believe him. He doesn't care if you agree with him, and I respect that. I thought his year in New York last year was better than people thought it was.

01:18:39
Speaker 2: Yeah, he almost took for four thousand last.

01:18:41
Speaker 3: Than Week eighteen, so we called his last game and Week eighteen last year, they hosted the Dolphins, and Aaron was awesome. I mean, he had a great game. He was ripping it. He looked like Aaron Rodgers of a couple of years ago. And I just had a funny feeling leaving that stadium, like this guy ain't done yet. Like he's got too much pride, he cares too much about like his legacy and what he's built. So to come out there and get like the full circle moment of going back to New York beating the Jets, playing really well, I was happy for him. I think if they can, if that defense gets to where they usually are, I think yesterday giving up when they give up thirty to to the Jets, I think that's probably not their expectation. That defense has been their strength. But if he can play at or near that level, they enter the conversation in the a f C as a team that can contend with the big bugs.

01:19:34
Speaker 1: I mean, you're sitting with two guys that actually picked them to win the AFC North this year. Because of that, you're ahead of the you're ahead of the tur We try to be that way. I got one more do everything else?

01:19:44
Speaker 2: No, go ahead and do your one more, because I would hate to take up you know, this week one, I know we're fired to coach some ball.

01:19:52
Speaker 1: Oh that's right, Oh they have a bye. He's got self scouting team. Yeah, Joe Burrow and the Bengals. And first off, I've got even a couple of flowers of Joe Flacco. He had two picks in the game, but the few picks were really his fault. Joe Burrow, for the first time since twenty twenty one, is one tozer after Week one. Are the Bengals back or the Bengals gonna win at all?

01:20:14
Speaker 2: Is it over?

01:20:16
Speaker 3: I'll be honest, I only caught the highlights. I saw that that Cleveland missed an extra point and like a really short field goal.

01:20:24
Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yeah, is that right?

01:20:26
Speaker 3: That is? I mean they could have lost to Cleveland, but they didn't. And again I'm the first to say, you never apologize for how you win. It's so damn hard to win in the NFL. You take them how you can get them. I'm very encouraged at the job Al Golden brought in as the new defensive coordinator. Was that Notre Dame now comes to the NFL, and that was the big question mark. Is ken Cincinnati play a lick of defense to go along with that offense? And then yesterday, at least from the box scorer and the score, again, I didn't catch much of the actual game, but they didn't put up a ton of points. So I think the encouraging thing is the defense seems to have gotten better again for at least one week. And I know it was the Browns that offense with Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase like they're gonna get rolling, like they're gonna find their stride offensively. I'm confident in that. So that's always been their issue. Can they play complimentary defense to go along with that Joe Burrow led offense? And if they can, there's another AFC team. And what we're finding is because the AFC has so many good quarterbacks, you're competitive and you are relevant if you have a marquee quarterback. And you look at the Chargers and the job that Hardball's done with Justin Herbert in a relatively short amount of time. I thought they looked great this week. There's a lot of really good AFC quarterbacks and it's going to keep a lot of AFC teams relevant as a result.

01:21:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree. I didn't catch much of the game either, but when you look at the statue and everything else, Joe Burrow did not have a big game, Jamar Chase t Higgins very few catches, But then you look at the box score and you see two interceptions from the Bengals defense. Oh, defense kind of helped win them that game. To where you're one to oh and you were talking about it earlier, Greg, to where after week one you take a big deep breath, you can coach, you can get rolling. You're starting off one, and oh, but optimism defensively, Like I'm sitting there and I'm looking out and like, oh, Bengals had a couple of picks, Like their defense might be there. They're going to continue to get better with first year decordinator coming from Notre Dame. But you already know, like you sit there and you look at the stat sheet with with t Higgins, Jamar Chase and Joe Burrow, and you don't even worry about that because you're like, these boys are gonna get.

01:22:30
Speaker 1: Yeah, they're gonna start going in a crazy way. You say, get that week one out of the way.

01:22:34
Speaker 2: Yeah, which you got to get it out of the way. But you hate to think we got this one out of the way. If you're the Baltimore Ravens blowing a fifteen point lead, yeah, yeah, fourth.

01:22:43
Speaker 3: Quarter, that's that's a tough one.

01:22:45
Speaker 4: Yes, I'll be honest.

01:22:47
Speaker 2: That was a catastrophe.

01:22:48
Speaker 3: Just killing time to go catch my Red Eye last night, you know, you know Red Eyes. Like my game ended at four local and my flight was until eleven thirty. So you're like you're like seeing backwards. You're like in your room, you're like in the twilight zone, killing time to go to the airport. I fell asleep, woke up to go to the airport and didn't even realize the Bills had won until I was driving. I was like, I'm gonna check it with I wonder what the final was. And I looked at it like five times. I couldn't even believe that Buffalo came back. Josh Allen is just an absolutely oh my god.

01:23:20
Speaker 2: Yeah.

01:23:20
Speaker 1: I mean you don't watch that game at all, and at any point until about three minutes left in the fourth you're like, yeah, the Ravens are running away with this. And then all of a sudden, three months up and the fourth they're like down by four or five or six, whatever it is. I mean five minutes before then, my wife said, hey, are you going to watch the whole game? I was like, now, the Ravens kind of putting it on my mind as well. Just go to bed tonight and catch up what happened later. And then I look back and I'm like, oh my god, Josh Allen really is him? Also my super Bowl pick? Also my Super Bowl pick?

01:23:47
Speaker 3: Did Josh Allen follow up an MVP season with like the greatest Week one exclamation point of all time.

01:23:55
Speaker 2: Of all time?

01:23:55
Speaker 1: Especially against the guy.

01:23:58
Speaker 3: Against the guy that you know half the thought you know, he's kind of like a fifty to fifty split and you can make a great argument for Lamar and Josh last year rightfully so. And then you match up against each other in a primetime shootout to kick off the season and you win forty one forty and you are every single play was based on Josh Allen. Yes, and he doesn't get one playoff.

01:24:21
Speaker 2: Yeah right yeah, And before the season it's like based on last year defenses, they have the number one defense and the conversations going into this season, they seem better on the roster than they were last year. But to put up over forty that was insane. Married and actress in the off season.

01:24:39
Speaker 1: Yeah, every reason to go taking the guy is on fire. Yeah, yeah, Josh is. He's doing crazy things. Friend of the show, friend of the show, friend of the show. Also friend of the show, Gregles. So let's give him a broud of a plausum, thank you for coming on, giving you bring incredible can't wait to get you every single week on Mondays. And thank you brother. We'll talk to you sir.

01:24:56
Speaker 2: And two we'll have to get in a group chat so we can identify I, Hey, who's the opponent next week? Start building some good storylines and let's see if we can't get Greg to give us some bulletimore by the opponent. Yeah, yeah, like something in a speech, something to where we can say Greg talking a lot of ship about the about the Eagles they're about to play on Wednesday.

01:25:20
Speaker 1: Yeah, fun tool bullet like that.

01:25:27
Speaker 3: I appreciate you guys. See you guys, what a guy.

01:25:33
Speaker 1: What a guy.

01:25:34
Speaker 2: I can't wait for the just the youth football all season long. Luke's in that. I I love it. I wanted to ask him to, like, what's in these first couple of weeks. Have you given a pregame door you're driving home?

01:25:50
Speaker 4: You're like?

01:25:50
Speaker 2: That was kind of that got the boys going because you could, you could, you could? I think he'd be cool with it. But you clip certain parts and like you know, try to build up some drama. And we got to get out there, have to get out there for one.

01:26:08
Speaker 3: Of their gamers.

01:26:10
Speaker 4: I talked to my buddy, who is, like I told you guys in our pre production meeting, he's in like that Charlotte League. They play each other the week of the Bust and Ball September eighteenth.

01:26:20
Speaker 2: Big week. Are they a good football team?

01:26:23
Speaker 4: My buddy's team? Yeah, I have no clue.

01:26:26
Speaker 2: That's what we got to find out. We got to start getting on the inside of this league out there Charlotte will you.

01:26:31
Speaker 5: Had the moment because we can't hear the interview.

01:26:34
Speaker 2: I was curious, you guys could hear I.

01:26:36
Speaker 4: Was trying to put it through my headphones, but it was it was too quiet.

01:26:39
Speaker 5: But Greg was are we even this is recording or no? Yeah, okay, Greg was talking. I don't know what he was talking about.

01:26:48
Speaker 4: And you have your.

01:26:48
Speaker 5: Headphones on so you can't hear yourself either, and you hit this dude, it was you keep talking about all these Montsori schools.

01:27:00
Speaker 3: At the top of the glass.

01:27:01
Speaker 2: Sorry, way too way too more developed for my dumb ass.

01:27:04
Speaker 4: Yeah.

01:27:04
Speaker 2: I was in public, just trying to be the line leader, going to bathroom.

01:27:09
Speaker 5: Run into the lunch room.

01:27:11
Speaker 4: But yeah, you at that.

01:27:14
Speaker 2: No, he was fun though. He was fun. That'll be that'll be fun to do. That'll be fun to do.

01:27:19
Speaker 5: Every week we gotta go to the their biggest game of the year.

01:27:23
Speaker 4: I know it sounds like it's this week.

01:27:25
Speaker 2: Yeah, they're on bye week. This week, bye week, bye week this week. Next week they play whoever the team is.

01:27:31
Speaker 4: Oh, so I guess my boys team is pretty good because he said, like our next week's game is.

01:27:36
Speaker 2: It will be the week of the bust and ball. Damn, we are close. I didn't realize. I guess September eighth.

01:27:42
Speaker 4: I think my buddy is the I want to say he's like wide receivers and running backs, coach.

01:27:49
Speaker 2: Wide receivers and running backs, coach skill positions. I guess he's got and two of you for everybody, for everybody listening. Tomorrow is Jared Demon's birthday.

01:27:57
Speaker 1: Demon's birthdays in the chat.

01:28:02
Speaker 2: Just catching up on just a good old fashioned Greg Hang.

01:28:05
Speaker 1: Dude, he's the man. I love it. I absolutely love it. Seems like he's doing the world tour right now too, which is incredible. Do we want to head a couple more games before we get out of here?

01:28:13
Speaker 4: Where? Do we want to wrap it up?

01:28:15
Speaker 1: Do you want to hit like one or two more games before your roll?

01:28:17
Speaker 2: We could? We could also do some more tear talk. We only did one tier talk thus far.

01:28:21
Speaker 1: Quickly, I'll just say this with the Chargers and Chiefs, incredible to see Jim harball. Everyone and their mother's talking about the Charges. What they want to do. They want to run the ball. They're going to run down your throats. They open up that game using Justin Herbert. They threw it all over the yard. It feels to me, especially with Xavier Worthy going down the Chiefs might be a little bit more danger than we expect.

01:28:40
Speaker 2: How about Quentin Johnston?

01:28:41
Speaker 1: How about Quentin Johnston.

01:28:43
Speaker 2: Two touddies, two toddies, And I agree with you. It's going to be a shaky year for the Kansas City Chiefs. Just buckle up, buckle up.

01:28:53
Speaker 1: I don't share the same sentiment. They still have Andy Reads, the head coaches still have Travis Kills.

01:28:57
Speaker 4: They do.

01:28:57
Speaker 1: They still have Patrick Mahomes, they still have Josh sim thirty second overall pick who I thought had a good game. A couple of penalties.

01:29:03
Speaker 2: Here and there, struggled a little bit.

01:29:06
Speaker 1: Joan Taylor. He I mean plagued with plagued with the penalties over and over and over again. But you know what, You're right. But they're gonna have to get grittier wins. Will I get it.

01:29:18
Speaker 2: They haven't had a division. The Raiders offense looks good, you know, Smith and Chip Kelly look good on that Raiders offense. Chargers, you already said it. And the Broncos, the Broncos are going to be nice.

01:29:30
Speaker 1: Broncos didn't look too great. They were what four and a half point favorites against the Titans.

01:29:34
Speaker 4: I think they were bigger than that, and they struggled again.

01:29:36
Speaker 1: They struggled against the Titans. But I think the Titans showed up in a big way. I mean they're at home and it's week one. You're never as good as you think you are. You're never as bad as you think you are. After week one, that is.

01:29:44
Speaker 2: I think with the Chiefs, you can cut year.

01:29:50
Speaker 4: I did.

01:29:50
Speaker 1: The is gonna be the most exciting thing to watch. Ryan Raikel or sorry, Brian Matthew Raikel Matthew right Kel says thoughts and Aaron Rodgers after Week one, Dog, Yeah, four touchdowns, that was incredible. Dice him up all over the field. DK Metcalf is gonna be huge from all year. Jonal Smith, I think him and the marriage Arthur Arthur Smith is gonna.

01:30:11
Speaker 2: Be just four tuddies. Bro, I'm telling you, I said it before the season started. Four thousand's four thousand yard season coming for Aaron Rodgers, and I love that. The reporter after the game's ask him and he's like, I'm happy I beat everybody associated with the Jase, anybody.

01:30:25
Speaker 1: Associated with the Jets. And there's a lot of things that we're gonna say on the show throughout the year that are gonna be stupid, dumb picking the Ravens on ESPN probably was one of them.

01:30:33
Speaker 2: No, I stand by everything I say. None of them are dumb.

01:30:38
Speaker 1: But one thing we're looking really good on right now is the AFC North champions and that's that's the Pittsburgh stear.

01:30:42
Speaker 2: Yeah.

01:30:43
Speaker 1: Because they get their defense in order, which they will, they're gonna be uh, they're gonna be stunts.

01:30:48
Speaker 2: Tier talk from d Sacorus sixty five Tier talk. I think the boys need to have a milk check play of the week. The one that's standing out and jumping out to me right now is that six yard recession reception from Cam Scott.

01:31:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, trucking three guys on to the side.

01:31:05
Speaker 4: Did you guys see the catch by the Lions guy. It's kind of garbage time, but yeah, the one hander the Odell type and got his foot.

01:31:12
Speaker 2: Do we know his name so we can shout him out?

01:31:14
Speaker 4: Isaac Isaac to Slaw.

01:31:16
Speaker 2: Isaac to Slaw. Another milkcheck highlight coming out.

01:31:19
Speaker 1: Another milkcheck. Also, going back to Skataboo, there was a there was a pass protection. They slid to the left, a backer came right through that a gap, but he put his face on that motherfucker. He put the Yeah, he targeted, He targeted the defender is what he did. Skataboo. I'm not sure how long he'll be with us, but buddy, I love ze six yard reception.

01:31:38
Speaker 2: I came up off the couch with that one.

01:31:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, tear talk from Mason Tisdale. Oh four, Derrick Henry is about six hundred yards eleven four twenty three yards away from matching his career school stats twelve thousand cer high school stats, high yeah, high school stats, and tenty four yards. That's a great comment, and I agree. I think if you're the Ravens, you look at the run game, you go, we got no problems there. Boys. It looked good all around there.

01:32:05
Speaker 4: I think you're giving that stat the light it deserves. His high school stats four years, he's that's twelve thousand yards in four years. He's been playing in the NFL for like nine ten years and he's only at eleven ten years.

01:32:20
Speaker 3: Two.

01:32:20
Speaker 1: You see the stat they put up about his touchdowns.

01:32:23
Speaker 4: He scored fifty five touchdowns in his senior year.

01:32:25
Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I'm talking about in the NFL as well. Yeah, dude, him him, in college, him, him in high school, him in the NFL. All of it's really good. Like he is, he's the only football player ever run for two thousand yards in high school, two thousand in college, in two thousand in the NFL, Like the guy is an alien. And when you're watching the Bills the Bill's Ravens game, they put up the stats of his touchdowns and he's got like one hundred and four hundred and six now whatever.

01:32:47
Speaker 4: It is, he's at one o seven just passed general.

01:32:49
Speaker 1: Well, okay, one oh seven one away, And every single person on that do besides him is in the Hall of Fame other than Adrian Peterson, who is not yet eligible. So Derek Henry first All Fame bucket. You heard it here first on Bust with the Boys.

01:33:03
Speaker 2: Should there be this is from a d fish. Should there be any concern after Ashton Genty's performance, I personally have none, but people are always talking hashtag tier talk. I personally absolutely not.

01:33:14
Speaker 4: To me.

01:33:14
Speaker 2: The question mark is on the offensive line. They will need to pack a run game eventually, because the Raiders do a incredible job of the play action bang eights on that week, cash right over the backer's head. I thought Chip Kelly, the way that they're shifting their formations, reloading, motioning everything else. I think the Raiders are gonna be tough, But no concern with Ashton Genty. To me, the concern is more like getting the old line going.

01:33:38
Speaker 1: Yeah, with the with the offensid Jenna Smith, the way he was throwing the ball over the art. If he continues doing that, they will earn the right to run the ball of ashing gent because they'll start moving more guys out of the box. I like Ashton Genty.

01:33:49
Speaker 2: Rock Bauers injury, though, yeah, apparently it's nothing. Apparently it's nothing. When they came out of the game, everything's gonna be okay.

01:33:56
Speaker 1: Thirty eight yard reception goes down, has a little niski, and now all of a sudden they're saying, so a little tweak.

01:34:01
Speaker 2: I've seen a couple of things didn't come back in rumor.

01:34:04
Speaker 1: Pete Carroll sent in a postgame pres coommens he wanted to go back in the game, but the trainers did not love love. Hey, we need him.

01:34:10
Speaker 2: That's a check highlight guy right there. You need him for the old White squad, he text me, he said.

01:34:15
Speaker 5: Brock Bowers out season over for our fantasy team, because everybody at first.

01:34:20
Speaker 2: A cl yeah, a cl A c L. But then I saw it could be an mcl sprain. But if he's saying he wanted to go back in the game, that gives me a lot of That gives me a lot of a lot of optimism.

01:34:29
Speaker 6: Crazy stat for brock Bowers. Through eighteen career games, he now has more games with ninety plus receiving yards than he has with games with less than fifty. Seven games over ninety yards and only six under fifty dog insane dog. He loves steak and he lovesta.

01:34:47
Speaker 1: He loves steak. He loves loves his red meat. Matthew Patrick at matt pat zero hashtag tear talk with all the darts. I've been inhaling due to the Steelers run defense. Do I need to do I need a Costco sized car of cigarettes for the next six months. I think the answer is no. I think the answer is no. I think they had an uncharacteristic day. You never overreact in a week one situation. Steelers historically have a great defense. I think they'll get it together.

01:35:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, and high Smith jumping off the stat sheet with all you know, all the attention that TJ. Watt's gonna be getting high Smith. He's healthy, he's ready to go. And also, you don't know what you're gonna get you you aren't familiar with what you're gonna get with coach Aaron Glenn and Justin Fields in that week one from the Jets, I thought the Jets played their asses off enough to win. They end up not getting a doubt, but I thought Justin Field looked really good.

01:35:33
Speaker 1: And if you watch the NFL locker room with myself, will comp to Delaney Walker, Clay Matthews. Somebody who was six to seven actually mentioned Alex Highsmith and how much of a game changer he is when he's in the game, competed when Watson the game. Something to keep in mind when you're looking at your betting score.

01:35:47
Speaker 2: This one's from z T thirty seven to fifty eight Tier Talk hashtag Tier Talk greatest regular season football games of all time. I think that's a great overreaction on a Monday, I will say the games were electric all week and long, all Sunday long. Multiple times rus want me to play as taking. I'm like, sweetheart, this is you see these two minute drills on the screen right now, let's finish these up. Let's I'll go hide for you. But by the way, she gives herself up every time when I'm like all right, read or not here I comments, He's like you found me, and I'm like you kind of just fucking ran out of the band.

01:36:18
Speaker 4: That Falcons Bucks game ending is yeah, my butt fouls a Falcons fan and he is ready for him. Mecca is gonna be dude.

01:36:29
Speaker 1: He is gonna be fucking nice. And also shout up Bigger Mayfield coming in getting a game winning drive. That's unbelievable, and save the damn parlay. We need that in a big way. Falcons. Great parlay. Clump, Yeah, fantastic, great parlay. First, your Sunday night football parlay was amazing. If it wasn't for you know, eighty points, beational game generation.

01:36:52
Speaker 2: The under was beating the first half.

01:36:54
Speaker 1: I'll tell you this, next time those two teams see each other, I guarantee. I can't guarantee anything, I can almost promise you it's gonna be an undergame. Happens every single time. You see a couple of years ago with the Chiefs Bills, how they had this massive overgame in the playoffs. And they go play everyone's like over over over defensive game. So when you see him in the playoffs, remember it's an under game.

01:37:13
Speaker 2: Outside of that game, it was a massive unders week.

01:37:19
Speaker 4: Sick Jets Pittsburgh game two. Yeah, those two games I think are the only.

01:37:23
Speaker 1: Two week one week one unders. You're gonna hit so so much.

01:37:30
Speaker 5: That Peyton Manning commercial with his son Marshall, it truly showed to me, like the difference in generations of quarterbacks with Eli Manning and Peyton Manning being the Thursday night game and seeing how much more athletic and probably talented Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are and then Peyton and Eli is crazy, yeah, because it wasn't that long ago, but it's like now, these quarterbacks are freaks.

01:37:50
Speaker 1: It's incredible too, Like the mobility of all the quarterbacks, like the movie at Sam Darnold Jared Dolphin, kind of the last of a dying bree when it comes to sitting in the pocket. Everybody, dude, every in college can run. Everybody who's coming up and is going to be drafted to can run to some extent like mobile quarterbacks. You're now playing for eleven, not just for ten and when you.

01:38:07
Speaker 2: When Mahomes having that little side arm where he was kind of sideways and then Friday night football game.

01:38:12
Speaker 4: Yeah, I saw something a tweet that was like Patrick Mahomes is if everything Jameis Winston tried to do but it actually worked. Say it again, like what Patrick Mahomes do, like that little play, that little side thing, like Jameis Winston's tried that, but he throws a pick on that sig six.

01:38:28
Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I mean Patrick, Si Patrick. That's why you're like, yeah, you can't count the Chiefs out, but they're from a talent standpoint, like they're hurting in a lot of ways right now, especially if Xavier were his shoulders in trouble. Tree Hill, Tyreek Hill by week five, Tyreek Hill by week five to the Chiefs, I'm calling it now. I'm calling that now. Boys, think about it, right, what upset? They just lost their fastest guy, Xavier Worthy, who knows how long he'll be out.

01:38:53
Speaker 4: Have the home.

01:38:55
Speaker 1: You get Tyreek Hill back in that Chief's uniform. Boys, I'm telling they might be back. They might be back. All right? Are we good on it? Is there anything you guys want to get out? Before we get out, I'll just.

01:39:06
Speaker 2: I'll share another tier talk overreaction. This one comes for Tanner Haggarty. Tear talk is a time for Baltimore to part ways with old Johnny boy. He seems to be holding the team back from succeeding, seems to take his foot off the gas late in games when play calling costing the team wins. That's a great overreaction.

01:39:23
Speaker 1: It's great. I mean that he's talking about John Harball.

01:39:26
Speaker 2: That is a very very hard way for the Ravens to lose in that fashion. It's like when we were on Get Up and they're like, is this mentally going to take a toll? And it's like, dude, it's Week one. But if any game could have could potentially have a mental toll, it would have been the way that they lost a fifteen point lead. A terrible fashion to lose a football game. But that roster is loaded. Defense has got to figure it out.

01:39:48
Speaker 4: You know.

01:39:48
Speaker 2: It's massive gut check time because you give up over five hundred total yards and you got all those pieces.

01:39:52
Speaker 1: Of it you said there were statistically number one in all categories last year.

01:39:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, the Ravens defense, I mean they are nasty, you know, so gotta crutch tape.

01:40:01
Speaker 1: Gott a crutch tape. I'll say this, if you're a Ravens fan, if you're on the Ravens coaching staff, do you do yourself a favor. Hold on to Kyle Hamilton as long as you can. That kid is a fucking stud. He is all over the field.

01:40:11
Speaker 2: He was a all white team player two years ago, was he Yeah? But then after a game he was on uh he did a video, was like, no, he's on the other side.

01:40:19
Speaker 1: Damn. Well yeah, it's kind of obvious. Yeah, but you yeah, I see you trying.

01:40:23
Speaker 2: To stan it again. Still yeah, still we still had him.

01:40:25
Speaker 1: For Hamilton Yeah. Five a school in Arizona. All right, that's all the time we have for you today on Monday.

01:40:31
Speaker 2: Yeah, and we will be dropping tomorrow, busting with the boys back tomorrow for our interview. Can we just say who it is or do we gotta do that?

01:40:36
Speaker 1: No, let's say who it is. Let's say who it is.

01:40:37
Speaker 2: Dom Husker fans. Yeah, after that weekend are going to love this.

01:40:43
Speaker 1: Yeah, and we do ask him about all those controversial things. You'll get those answers.

01:40:46
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, see you tomorrow, Love you, big eggs, tidy kisses.
