I Gave Those Sasquatch My Fish - My Bigfoot Sighting Shorts Episode 2

My Bigfoot Sighting

Tonight's guest has always loved the outdoors. He has a lifetime of experience hunting, fishing, and doing all sorts of other things in the woods. None of his prior experiences, in the woods, could have prepared him for what he experienced one day, while he was fishing. He thought he was alone, but he soon found out how wrong he was about that.

My big foot siding changed my life and how I thought about the world.
I'm a big out doorsman. I loved to hunt and fish and snow ski
all anything outdoors really saw. Last spring, I was out fishing the little
streams here in North Idaho, and the entire time I was out there,
I kept feeling like I was being chaste or paralleled. While I was in
the woods. It was early morning. I got out there about six o'clock
in the morning to start fishing, but the entire time I was there,
I just felt like, I said, like I was being followed. Definitely
had the creepy somebody's watching me feeling. And that went on for pretty much
all morning. And I was catching fish right and left, and I make
a little willow stringer to keep them on. And when I was fishing,
I had happened to turn and about twenty five thirty yards behind me there was
a big foot peeking out from behind a tree. So I just stood there,
kind of frozen in my tracks, watching it. Then I figured out,
I'm just I don't want to spook it. I don't want to be
any more spooks than I am. I'm just going to go ahead with my
day and you know, if they start to get any kind of aggressive or
anything, or anything more than just curious, I'm out of here. Because
I was alone that day. I usually don't go want fish alone, but
that day I did, so I kept going and kept fishing, and little
did I know, but there were actually three of them there together. It
looked like a dominant male or father and mama and a juvenile. And I
just kept watching them. They kept pretty good pace with me as I was
walking down the stream and fishing, and I had sat down to eat some
lunch, and I had these fish there, and I thought, you know,
I'm just gonna leave these fish for them, So I set them the
fish and it took them off the stringer and lay actually laid them out on
the stump and walked down a ways where I could still see them. And
sure enough, they came in and they ate those fish right away. And
after that I was pretty both unfishing, so I went and did my own
thing. But it's become a kind of a tradition. Even if I don't
see them, I know they're still in the in that same area, I
will take leave doughnuts or fruit on that stump and go back to the next
day and check and it's gone. So I'm pretty sure they're still in that
area. That's the only sighting I've ever had. I didn't get any photos,
didn't have a camera or a phone with me. I wasn't suspecting to
see anything like that, certainly, and something that struck me. When the
big guy, you have absolutely no idea just how big they are. I
mean, they are massive, massive creatures. The male I saw was probably
nine feet tall, three and a half feet wide, and completely just I
mean not an ounce of fat on it. I just really really strong,
like a looking like ast like a bodybuilder type of muscles, and really same
for the female and the juvenile as well. The mother was roughly six foot
I would say, maybe a little more, and the juvenile was right around
four feet. So that's my only sighting. I did have an experience while
I was out camping with my wife. We were camping Cordelaine National Forest up
the Cordelaine River, and we had camped up there pretty well for the last
twenty twenty five years. Never had a problem. You know, I know
all the animals in that area, I know the sounds and noises that they
make. But we had set up our tents and we had took the late
dinner, and after dinner we I just went right into the tent and started
going to bed. And I guess it was right around midnight or one o'clock
in the morning, right outside of our tent, like if I could have
reached through the wall of the tent, I could have touched it. That
close to the tent, I hear the loudest high pitch. I don't know
what to call it. It wasn't really a howl. It wasn't a whoop,
it wasn't a whistle. It actually sounded like a word where there were
vowels and constant. It sounded like it was speaking. And the word he
said, I'll never forget. He said, kiyahwa, very loud and very
high. And we heard that yell all night long, sometimes right next to
the tent. Sometimes it sounded like it was coming from two hundred yards away
from the tenth But that's the only thing he was yelling, or chie,
I'm sorry. And after we got out of there, I started looking for
any kind of sightings that were similar to that, and I didn't find any
sightings. But I was contacted by a native American who knows quite a lot
about not only their language but also bigfoot fast watch. And she said that
word means home, and so I'm either taking that to mean, hey,
listen, howle, you're in the middle of my home, get out,
or go home. Either way, that's kind of what I took away from
that experience. And about six o'clock in the morning, first light, we
packed the camp up and we got out of that spot. So those would
be my only two experiences.
