In 1988, a waitress who was living in central Florida had just begun her shift at a local diner when she’s standing in the middle of the restaurant, and her heart just starts racing like mad. Now she had not been running around or doing any heavy lifting, so it didn’t make any sense. So, kind of startled by what was happening, she just turned around and went straight into the bathroom and sat down in a stall, waiting for this sensation to pass. But as she sat there, her heart just continued to beat like mad, and then she began to feel tingling in her feet and in her arms. And it was at that moment that she realized she was having a heart attack. Except she wasn’t. Something much, much worse was happening to her.
