<v Speaker 1>All right, everybody here we are with the Non Tender
<v Speaker 1>Podcast back for another week.
<v Speaker 2>See your pat actually come back in pat.
<v Speaker 3>Wait three.
<v Speaker 2>We have.
<v Speaker 1>We have a hot Sauce which we're gonna get to later.
<v Speaker 2>And we have.
<v Speaker 1>Brenton sat outside in the studio getting ready to cut
<v Speaker 1>to his gorgeous face.
<v Speaker 2>We have Night, We have Sully.
<v Speaker 1>We have a jam packed show for you guys talking
<v Speaker 1>about Nintendo's possible price increase, talking about Splatoon.
<v Speaker 2>I know this guy's happy Splatoon Raiders.
<v Speaker 1>And at the end of it all, we're gonna be
<v Speaker 1>selecting three hot sauces to make Non Tender brand hot
<v Speaker 1>sauce that we're gonna.
<v Speaker 2>Sell to you.
<v Speaker 1>Guys, and we're gonna we're gonna taste test all of
<v Speaker 1>these to see which ones we like the most.
<v Speaker 2>Let's do it. Chips for it and everything.
<v Speaker 1>I even ordered milk because one of the this is
<v Speaker 1>a reaper. The Nintendo does kill us today, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>There's my phone and it's gonna be a heck of
<v Speaker 1>a show. Welcome on and everybody open. Women wanting to
<v Speaker 1>do that, do that a while or we just needed
<v Speaker 1>where we could do it. Although in saying that it's
<v Speaker 1>not actually clickbait. I have so many examples of rising
<v Speaker 1>prices in the market, all of it is due to
<v Speaker 1>rising RAM costs. We have U the PlayStation Xbox have
<v Speaker 1>both increased. So obviously the next step is, well, what
<v Speaker 1>about Nintendo. But it's not just them, it's a bunch
<v Speaker 1>of other companies. So we're gonna dive into that, and
<v Speaker 1>we're gonna break down with you guys, Me Breton if
<v Speaker 1>he wants to be a part of it, Pat, if
<v Speaker 1>he's sticking around, what we really think Nintendo is going
<v Speaker 1>to do. There's also an industry insider no he was.
<v Speaker 1>He worked at Nintendo in sales that it did a
<v Speaker 1>podcast episode with Kitting Crista. Yes, Sean, Yes, yeah, yeah, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>who says you know nothing.
<v Speaker 2>I'm telling a nice doc here filled with notes.
<v Speaker 1>Now the excellintender sales employees saying that it's definitely going
<v Speaker 1>to happen. So I want to give my opinions. I
<v Speaker 1>want to talk about whether or not you should buy
<v Speaker 1>a switch to before it's too Yeah, you should buy
<v Speaker 1>a switch to. I've been actually wanting to talk about
<v Speaker 1>this for weeks now, but every week something there's been
<v Speaker 1>something else to talk about, and this is finally the
<v Speaker 1>week that we can dive on in and then as
<v Speaker 1>I said, splittoon and then what else?
<v Speaker 2>What else?
<v Speaker 1>There's a lot on the dock. Yeah, decent amount self
<v Speaker 1>compared to last week. Oh me and Moto said some
<v Speaker 1>such some fun stuff about the Yeah, yeah, so there's
<v Speaker 1>some cool stuff to get into today. I don't want
<v Speaker 1>to waste too much time. Let me see what I
<v Speaker 1>got at the top here.
<v Speaker 2>Nothing.
<v Speaker 1>We can dive straight into what we've been playing. I
<v Speaker 1>mean I should I acknowledge that we did. I mean
<v Speaker 1>you cut the camera through. I mean, I've already said it.
<v Speaker 1>Stick around to the end. We're going to be doing
<v Speaker 1>a tearless style and trying all of these. There's everything
<v Speaker 1>from a weird glittery jelly one.
<v Speaker 2>Which looks what kind of a bombination?
<v Speaker 1>It looks just awful and I doubt will be picking
<v Speaker 1>that all the way to a reaper and yeah, this
<v Speaker 1>is a real thing. We're making Nontender hot sauce. In
<v Speaker 1>this company. They offer these sauces and then we get
<v Speaker 1>to pick the three that we like, to pick our favorites,
<v Speaker 1>and we're gonna sell a Nontendo Hot sauce which, like
<v Speaker 1>it makes I think makes a lot of sense. I
<v Speaker 1>think they will have to be red.
<v Speaker 2>That's what makes it. And there's some colors in here
<v Speaker 2>that are.
<v Speaker 1>Red, but my immediate thought is red Nintendo Hot Sauce.
<v Speaker 1>There's that black glitter one, don't I think there's a
<v Speaker 1>red little one, but the little one.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but you're right, I think the red. Theming is
<v Speaker 2>just because this one.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to get into it too early, but
<v Speaker 1>this little one apparently there's like four or five different
<v Speaker 1>glitter colors and it's all the same flavor, but it's
<v Speaker 1>just a different color. So there is a red glittle one.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I don't know if that, I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not doing that. I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what's in that stick around of fin
<v Speaker 1>out guys. All right, without further ado, let's dive on
<v Speaker 1>into this. Let's get this out of the way. The
<v Speaker 1>fastest intro is done because I'm gonna go first. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>I slammed games this last week. I slammed games like
<v Speaker 1>they like they owed me money.
<v Speaker 2>It's good.
<v Speaker 1>So we we talked about how last week I was like,
<v Speaker 1>I can't wait to play Pragmata.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>So Friday I went over to best Buy, picked it up.
<v Speaker 1>I finished it by Sunday night. Oh love the game?
<v Speaker 2>How many hours? Ten?
<v Speaker 1>It took me ten hours to Yeah, it's not super long,
<v Speaker 1>which is also why I slammed through it because I
<v Speaker 1>could tell. I was like, I'm making good, good headway here.
<v Speaker 1>Capcom games seem to be around that, like around ten
<v Speaker 1>twelve hours. No, but I I so, I don't have time,
<v Speaker 1>but I like the game so much that at some
<v Speaker 1>point I'd love to play it again. You want tolock,
<v Speaker 1>a harder mode and new game plops and everything good.
<v Speaker 1>I I'm going to review it on my channel. Obviously
<v Speaker 1>I played on Switch here, so I don't want to
<v Speaker 1>give too many of my thoughts away there.
<v Speaker 2>I'm just gonna say that I loved it. I love
<v Speaker 2>I got the a meebo here.
<v Speaker 1>I ended up with two copies of the game because
<v Speaker 1>game stops all closed down around here, so I ordered
<v Speaker 1>it from GameStop, and then on the day that it
<v Speaker 1>was supposed to come out, I got an email that
<v Speaker 1>said it won't be here for five days. Okay, so
<v Speaker 1>I was like, I was gonna go buy, and then
<v Speaker 1>then then the other one showed up yesterday. But so yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I've been playing. I played that. I played a decent
<v Speaker 1>amount of Tomadacci Life. I have your stream. No, thank you,
<v Speaker 1>thank you, thank you for that. I made list the
<v Speaker 1>last on stream. Okay, yeah, yeah, so I have about
<v Speaker 1>eight little guys in there.
<v Speaker 2>Now I have had like any face paint makeup onto
<v Speaker 2>them or did you just with lists?
<v Speaker 1>I did because she has a lot of freckles and
<v Speaker 1>the inbuilt freckles for the meat that was not cutting,
<v Speaker 1>So I painted a bunch of freckles pretty good. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I haven't been playing that as much as I would like.
<v Speaker 1>But I did start playing mouse Pi, which actually I'm
<v Speaker 1>going to bring up and I'm going to show you
<v Speaker 1>a game. It's actually really good. I like it a lot.
<v Speaker 1>I thought it was going to be very much like Doom,
<v Speaker 1>but in this cartoonyance style. But there's a whole it's
<v Speaker 1>it's it's it's got faster pay sections like that, but
<v Speaker 1>it also has slower pay sections where you're like pinning
<v Speaker 1>like notes onto a onto a clokboard and like drawing
<v Speaker 1>like okay, like you're a PI, so you're solving clues
<v Speaker 1>and then you have like an open world map where
<v Speaker 1>you can choose way to go next, So it's a
<v Speaker 1>bit more involved than I expect it.
<v Speaker 2>I love it.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's awesome. I'm going to bring it up
<v Speaker 1>so you can see it. But while I'm doing that,
<v Speaker 1>because those are my three games that I played, one
<v Speaker 1>of you guys, tell me what you've been doing me.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, thank you, I appreciate that.
<v Speaker 1>Uh yeah, for me, it's also been a lot of
<v Speaker 1>Tomadaci life.
<v Speaker 2>I think the I've.
<v Speaker 1>Realized just how many more creative people that are out
<v Speaker 1>there because I'm seeing, like on Twitter, on Instagram, just
<v Speaker 1>the amount of like of just like people and like
<v Speaker 1>ideas that people like are making. Honest, Yeah, that discourages me.
<v Speaker 1>It's one of.
<v Speaker 2>My biggest issues about Tomadacci life, living the dream is
<v Speaker 2>the fact that you cannot share mes, like there's no
<v Speaker 2>real way to like share like your mes with one
<v Speaker 2>of you. You can't be a method where you can
<v Speaker 2>download mes from your time. But even then, the good
<v Speaker 2>means with face paint, once you download them to your
<v Speaker 2>system and post like upload them to your Tomadaci game,
<v Speaker 2>they lose all the face.
<v Speaker 1>Although I have seen like there's there's a there's a website.
<v Speaker 1>Actually I forget what it's called, but actually, yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they've been posting their actual but they do detailed break
<v Speaker 1>thank you. They do detailed breakdowns on how to recreate it.
<v Speaker 1>But you still have to Yeah, you have to do
<v Speaker 1>it yourself.
<v Speaker 2>Not all of them will show you the face paint
<v Speaker 2>that they do, which is unfortunate.
<v Speaker 1>So part of the reason why I haven't played Tomadacchi
<v Speaker 1>as much is because I know when I play again,
<v Speaker 1>I have to make another me.
<v Speaker 2>That's part.
<v Speaker 1>I got to keep making mees, and I'm like, I
<v Speaker 1>can't be bothered making it. I'm glad they limited seventy
<v Speaker 1>because imagine like limitless mes. You're like, yeah, I can
<v Speaker 1>only give you like seventy.
<v Speaker 2>I want to do it.
<v Speaker 1>It's just I got to design everyone, and then all
<v Speaker 1>of a sudden, it's like, here, design this cheesecake. And
<v Speaker 1>I was like, what, I spent an hour painting on
<v Speaker 1>a cheese. I just put a little whiped cream in
<v Speaker 1>a cherry and I was.
<v Speaker 2>Like, yeah, artists have in a hey day with this.
<v Speaker 1>I was gonna say, yeah, if you are a creative
<v Speaker 1>and you love to like draw, and like especially if
<v Speaker 1>you're playing a handle, because you can use the touch
<v Speaker 1>screen to draw everything and keeps interrupting you. You know what
<v Speaker 1>I realized I sort of a TikTok. It was like
<v Speaker 1>his how to create a stylist for the game, and
<v Speaker 1>it was a what's the A C tip? And they
<v Speaker 1>wet it a little and they put some alfoil around
<v Speaker 1>it and and they not put that anywhere near so
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't either, but it reminded me when I was
<v Speaker 1>watching it, I was like, Oh, I have Brain Trading
<v Speaker 1>Academy for Switch one, which comes with a stylists.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, so I could have been using that the whole time.
<v Speaker 2>So I want to bring that about, like four cheap
<v Speaker 2>stylists that work really well yead of phone styles. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>so one of them has like a pin of plastic
<v Speaker 2>pin at the top and all the one is like
<v Speaker 2>a kind of like a softer.
<v Speaker 1>Like that makes sense because I know, like it's a
<v Speaker 1>lot harder to design and even draw stuff with like
<v Speaker 1>the joy cons or even the pro control your finger
<v Speaker 1>I feel finger like, yeah exactly.
<v Speaker 2>But besides that, I having a good time with it.
<v Speaker 1>I just think it's like one of those games where
<v Speaker 1>you know it will take just it's fun to go
<v Speaker 1>back to like every once in a while.
<v Speaker 2>Now yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Like I will say, though, I don't know how it's
<v Speaker 1>going to do in terms of competing with Pokopia, because
<v Speaker 1>I feel like Pocopia had a lot more on the gate.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah what are you talking about sales? Yeah, just like
<v Speaker 2>just just in general. I mean, yeah, Coopia will definitely
<v Speaker 2>be doing it.
<v Speaker 1>I do feel like it's been like what a week
<v Speaker 1>it's about. You know, it was four days when Nintendo
<v Speaker 1>were like this games sold two million, and I feel
<v Speaker 1>like the buzz around it was so I feel like
<v Speaker 1>the buzz around Pocopia is already like.
<v Speaker 2>Kind of like that. It kind of like, yeah, nos
<v Speaker 2>dive pretty quickly.
<v Speaker 1>And I think a lot of that is because, I
<v Speaker 1>mean to to IGN's reviews credit, because the shareability is
<v Speaker 1>so limited. That's that it just didn't didn't share.
<v Speaker 2>Well exactly, you know, because a lot of people were
<v Speaker 2>disappointed about that, like myself included. I don't want to
<v Speaker 2>sit there spending hours making me ease. And at the
<v Speaker 2>same time, like when I went to record the game
<v Speaker 2>this week, because I did play it, I found myself
<v Speaker 2>like getting frustrated because I'm like, you know, like, as
<v Speaker 2>you're recording, right, you could just download the me and
<v Speaker 2>put them in the island or you got to like
<v Speaker 2>take the switch out and then spend like two three
<v Speaker 2>hours if you want to work with me. And then
<v Speaker 2>I tried to do them toopia method, and then that
<v Speaker 2>was so annoying because all the access keys had like
<v Speaker 2>these really well designed mes, but as soon as I
<v Speaker 2>put them into the system, they lose their makeup.
<v Speaker 1>So then I saw when you transfer them that way,
<v Speaker 1>they break, exactly break. Yeah, And I'm just thinking the
<v Speaker 1>whole time, why did Nintendo, dude?
<v Speaker 2>Why?
<v Speaker 3>That's what I think.
<v Speaker 1>Every time I get a Nintendo game with online functionality,
<v Speaker 1>there's like an element to it, a large element where
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, why did you do this?
<v Speaker 2>I mean, there is a you can't share mes locally,
<v Speaker 2>but I don't know anyone locally who makes insanely good means.
<v Speaker 1>Do you want to list the last me? No can
<v Speaker 1>share me with you? Is yours good well made me?
<v Speaker 2>No?
<v Speaker 1>I mean, after after you you know, rated my version
<v Speaker 1>of you on your switch, I don't think I can.
<v Speaker 2>I want to series where I like add Nintendo YouTubers
<v Speaker 2>to the island, but I want to make the mes
<v Speaker 2>look really good.
<v Speaker 1>I'm making old people that I know I've only made
<v Speaker 1>a making like my close friends.
<v Speaker 2>But you guys are in the rus.
<v Speaker 1>You guys pretty soon, pretty soon, you got a lady
<v Speaker 1>me to your island.
<v Speaker 2>Lady me.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I got me. I got Bob's wife Hannah, and
<v Speaker 1>I got list of the last I'm about to make
<v Speaker 1>for people. You know what about I'm only doing people,
<v Speaker 1>I said Kim. And as I'm about to I've added, uh,
<v Speaker 1>we have friends, Matt and Kayler. I added Matt, about
<v Speaker 1>to add Kayler. Here's the thing though, I added me
<v Speaker 1>and Kim, and that we were the first two, I added,
<v Speaker 1>and I put us in a marriage, yes, right away,
<v Speaker 1>but it said these characters still have to get to
<v Speaker 1>know each other, and they're living in separate houses. It
<v Speaker 1>takes a while before they move in, so they are
<v Speaker 1>not not acting like they know each other. So I
<v Speaker 1>don't know what the point of it is. Maybe well,
<v Speaker 1>mine says ultra friends. But this says two arrows right,
<v Speaker 1>So Me to Kim's ultra friends, Kim to me not
<v Speaker 1>getting along.
<v Speaker 2>Kim doesn't like me.
<v Speaker 1>I added Bob to my game, and I added his
<v Speaker 1>wife Hannah, and then within like an hour of adding Bob,
<v Speaker 1>Bob goes I'm thinking of moving in with Kim. Why
<v Speaker 1>they hadn't even told. I'm glad they I'm glad they
<v Speaker 1>let you deny stuff like that. So I was like, no,
<v Speaker 1>that's not happening. Get that thought out of your head.
<v Speaker 1>Then I'm playing the game. I keep like putting me
<v Speaker 1>in Kim together. Finally, like Kim was playing guitar to
<v Speaker 1>me in her house, like this is romance. I leave,
<v Speaker 1>Kim has something to say and she goes, I think
<v Speaker 1>Bob is a crush on me. Should I go talk
<v Speaker 1>to him? I'm like, no, he doesn't like you. Him
<v Speaker 1>off the island. I gotta have to kill him anyway. Sorry,
<v Speaker 1>I actually pretty good. That was gonna say, yeah, you
<v Speaker 1>want that's me?
<v Speaker 2>I did.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, you can put it in the middle and then
<v Speaker 1>he'll do zoom.
<v Speaker 2>In there real quick. Do a shush and that's without
<v Speaker 2>face parents pull it. But tom ADOI Plaza, that's me.
<v Speaker 2>You pull it back, you zoom in. You got to there.
<v Speaker 2>I have just the brightness.
<v Speaker 1>That's OK.
<v Speaker 2>But I was gonna say, tom Adauchi Plaza does have
<v Speaker 2>some like really well designed vis without any makeup or
<v Speaker 2>face paint on them. If you ever need to add characters,
<v Speaker 2>go to play if anything.
<v Speaker 1>I kind of thought, like, because I like the idea
<v Speaker 1>that you can grab mes from your system.
<v Speaker 2>But then I realized I haven't made a single me.
<v Speaker 1>Uh for two seconds, I've been playing that great.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, okay, what do you got Tomadacci life? Like I
<v Speaker 2>just said. And then another game I played was Escape
<v Speaker 2>the Back Rooms. They're making a movie for it. Oh
<v Speaker 2>yeah yeah. So I played that with with my friend
<v Speaker 2>and we uploaded it to YouTube.
<v Speaker 1>Nice uh sullyporns dot com forward, slash Twitch forwards, last
<v Speaker 1>YouTube MySpace.
<v Speaker 2>That's pretty good on That wasn't on sy p. It
<v Speaker 2>was on my channel with my friend obssessive called, oh
<v Speaker 2>very nice, so good?
<v Speaker 1>Can you show my screen? I'm pretty sure I have it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>here we go a little bit of a delay here,
<v Speaker 1>but cool.
<v Speaker 2>It looks amazing. So this is actually the game is
<v Speaker 2>like obviously black and white, right, Yes, this is a
<v Speaker 2>that doesn't bother you.
<v Speaker 1>No, actually you just kind of forget to be honest
<v Speaker 1>with style. Yeah. So that's a little roadhouse where you
<v Speaker 1>stop and you can buy some stuff, buy some baseball cards,
<v Speaker 1>blah blah blah.
<v Speaker 2>This is the like the map.
<v Speaker 1>So right now I have two places I can go
<v Speaker 1>one here and one up there, and then once I
<v Speaker 1>go here, this will enter like the combat kind of
<v Speaker 1>and I have a few guns unlocked, and then it's
<v Speaker 1>it's so it's so cool when you upgrade them, it
<v Speaker 1>like actually adds little animated upgrades to the guns and everything.
<v Speaker 2>It's very The overall is very reminiscent of Cphead as well.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, but it's it's really cool. I like it
<v Speaker 1>a lot. I don't know at what point here we're
<v Speaker 1>going to get into combat. There might be a bit
<v Speaker 1>of story first, because you do a little bit of
<v Speaker 1>investigating and then all of a sudden you're getting shot at.
<v Speaker 1>But yeah, it's really cool. I was hoping to do
<v Speaker 1>a bit more combat here.
<v Speaker 2>But so you're you're playing this the whole time from
<v Speaker 2>like his perspective is that gun.
<v Speaker 1>I already have that gun, okay, But yeah, anyway, that's
<v Speaker 1>the game. It's really cool. I would I was hoping
<v Speaker 1>going to show you some shooting here, but you can
<v Speaker 1>just you google it.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know how much is it. Look it up.
<v Speaker 1>They actually gave me a code. Oh but I do
<v Speaker 1>think it's thirty dollars. It should have sponsored the episode. Now,
<v Speaker 1>look at that guy up there too.
<v Speaker 2>It's a whill moby dick.
<v Speaker 1>All right, that's that. The price, Oh here we go,
<v Speaker 1>thirty bucks makes sense.
<v Speaker 3>Oh?
<v Speaker 1>Also, yeah, I Overwatch came out last week for switch
<v Speaker 1>to and it was awful. The update was wrong and
<v Speaker 1>it was still thirty fps. I played it last night.
<v Speaker 1>They have fixed it. It actually looks nice sixty fps
<v Speaker 1>and I like. I played one game I dominated, I
<v Speaker 1>was Diva and I like thirty kills. Have you played
<v Speaker 1>the game I've played a while? You know how like
<v Speaker 1>her mech her explodes the mech I love this. I
<v Speaker 1>loved Yes, you have played it. I love boosting it
<v Speaker 1>and then making it explode. I got five, like fourteen
<v Speaker 1>killed to sorry two fourteen kills. Nice doing that and
<v Speaker 1>the wow but you felt incredible? Oh I feel a man.
<v Speaker 1>I only have a play as Diva because of that
<v Speaker 1>one thing.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so much, of course, of course. All right, that's it.
<v Speaker 1>All right, games, good games. We're on it today, way
<v Speaker 1>better than last week. Or it's interesting what you playing.
<v Speaker 2>He's in there.
<v Speaker 1>We actually see him now. You guys can't though. Vampire
<v Speaker 1>Crawler cut to yourself, young man, Oh young man, we're
<v Speaker 1>the same age, yes, but you're in trouble.
<v Speaker 4>You guys are both young. We will wait yeah, just
<v Speaker 4>mind myself there, there you go. I've been playing Vampire Crawlers.
<v Speaker 1>Oh what so what what is that? That's a Vampire
<v Speaker 1>Survivor's sequel spin off spin off.
<v Speaker 4>Okay, so it's a dungeon crawler turbo deck like builder.
<v Speaker 4>That's the You have to play it, and once you play,
<v Speaker 4>you'll completely understand. Yeah, okay, really good. I did play
<v Speaker 4>progmat it didn't get a chance to dive into it,
<v Speaker 4>but I loved it immediately.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's true. I like it a lot. And then
<v Speaker 1>Slay the Spire owns my soul, so that's yeah. Yeah, yeah, oh, Pat,
<v Speaker 1>you've been playing that putting thumbs up back then.
<v Speaker 2>It's been forever, like so much fun? You crazy, It's
<v Speaker 2>it's it's a good time.
<v Speaker 1>You've been gone for a month. Pat, we missed you.
<v Speaker 3>I miss everybody so much.
<v Speaker 2>All right, good to hear from you guys.
<v Speaker 1>Why not? Hell yeah, got back off topic. All right,
<v Speaker 1>So the topic of today is is Nintendo switched to
<v Speaker 1>you got to get a price increase, and my honest
<v Speaker 1>thoughts on that, I've flip flopped on my own thoughts
<v Speaker 1>a few times. But I think before we get to that,
<v Speaker 1>we should look at what's happening in the look at
<v Speaker 1>the facts, look at the facts, the facts. So before
<v Speaker 1>we get to like he said, she said stuff from
<v Speaker 1>people in the industry, I think think it's worth talking
<v Speaker 1>about and looking at the rising prices of things. So
<v Speaker 1>over here on PlayStation we have new price changes for
<v Speaker 1>PlayStation five, PlayStation five Pro, and PlayStation Portal.
<v Speaker 2>We mean, we know about this.
<v Speaker 1>This happened back in April second, twenty twenty six. So
<v Speaker 1>the PlayStation five. Let me see, I think I wrote
<v Speaker 1>it down. So the PlayStation five went from wait, I'm
<v Speaker 1>just confused. Oh, sorry, So the launch price for the
<v Speaker 1>for the disc version was five hundred, digital was four hundred. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>they had a twenty twenty five increase that went up
<v Speaker 1>fifty dollars on the disc version and one hundred dollars
<v Speaker 1>on the digital version to five fifty and five hundred,
<v Speaker 1>and then the new twenty twenty six increase. The new
<v Speaker 1>prices are and I want to remind you again, the
<v Speaker 1>disc was five hundred, digital four hundred, the disc is
<v Speaker 1>now six fifty, the digital is now six hundred, and
<v Speaker 1>the PlayStation five Pro is now nine hundred dollars, which
<v Speaker 1>nine hundred is like you remember when the PlayStation three came
<v Speaker 1>out at one thousand, like that conference they have or
<v Speaker 1>they showed the price and everything. It was a whole
<v Speaker 1>thing and they had to like change things. This is
<v Speaker 1>the first generation where consoles aren't getting cheaper over time,
<v Speaker 1>they're getting more expensive. This is the first time we've
<v Speaker 1>seen this happen, which is crazy, and obviously it's all
<v Speaker 1>stemming from these rising RAM prices.
<v Speaker 2>Now why is that? Why? Actually is that why a
<v Speaker 2>RAM price is gone? Because of AI?
<v Speaker 1>That is why part of a yes, because AI needs
<v Speaker 1>so many computers, right, and so so much RAM is
<v Speaker 1>being used to power all of this AI that everyone
<v Speaker 1>loves so much, and so there's.
<v Speaker 2>So many free services competing with each other. Like I
<v Speaker 2>was trying to use the AI service recently and then
<v Speaker 2>it was telling me like this, you know, unless you
<v Speaker 2>pay for it, you can't use it because our servers
<v Speaker 2>are like overloading, overloading.
<v Speaker 1>So why can't they make more RAM? I mean it's
<v Speaker 1>like finite materials? Is it because of the economy and
<v Speaker 1>the tariffs? What is the reason? Because like we don't
<v Speaker 1>have to get into this too much because I'm not smart.
<v Speaker 1>The reality is it's because of AI and it's because
<v Speaker 1>of RAM. Why can't they just make more RAM?
<v Speaker 2>That's a great question. Someone asks, why can't we have
<v Speaker 2>more of you?
<v Speaker 1>Wait the problem? But someone asks AI, now, don't do that?
<v Speaker 2>Google it? I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Well Google Google now like apparently their Gemini AI is
<v Speaker 1>like the first thing that pops over.
<v Speaker 3>Yes.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, first, I've been saying that for a while because
<v Speaker 1>people are like, don't use chu GBT.
<v Speaker 2>How can you not?
<v Speaker 1>In another way, when you go anything you Google now
<v Speaker 1>does Gemini whether you like it or not? Wait, is
<v Speaker 1>it whether you like it or not? Can you Gemini?
<v Speaker 2>You probably can. There is a setting, I'm sure. But yeah,
<v Speaker 2>like every default Google search will have Gemini. I will
<v Speaker 2>say that Gemini helps cut to the chase. It does.
<v Speaker 1>It summarizes as long as it's correct, because sometimes it
<v Speaker 1>just pulls this information.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, It says, I asked the question, why can't we
<v Speaker 2>just create more RAM to solve the problem. It says,
<v Speaker 2>why can't we just create more RAM? As hard? It says, Uh.
<v Speaker 2>The market is dominated by a few manufacturers who are
<v Speaker 2>prioritizing special memory for AI over consumer RAM. Creating the
<v Speaker 2>supply crunch for computers and phones, which makes.
<v Speaker 1>A lot of sense, which is their own supply and demand,
<v Speaker 1>so they make more money from the demand exactly.
<v Speaker 2>Great, yep. Cool.
<v Speaker 1>And when affects to the console market like that too,
<v Speaker 1>you know you're going to see increases like this. So
<v Speaker 1>here's some more examples for you. I actually we hold on.
<v Speaker 2>Let me let me.
<v Speaker 1>I have them all written down, but we didn't cut
<v Speaker 1>to it. Do you mind cutting to some of these
<v Speaker 1>red like this one here?
<v Speaker 2>I mean the switch.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, you could have told me that he just did.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you how you clicked the button three times?
<v Speaker 1>I don't wonder why you didn't cut to it. Uh
<v Speaker 1>PS five ps FI pro PlayStation pot ok. I already
<v Speaker 1>talked about this one, but this is what I was
<v Speaker 1>reading from. You can cut away now because I don't
<v Speaker 1>have the other ones up. Yeah, sorry about that. Appreciate
<v Speaker 1>that obviously, Xbox I don't have a thing for that one,
<v Speaker 1>but I wrote it down. So Xbox Series X launched
<v Speaker 1>at five hundred, with the Series S launching at three hundred.
<v Speaker 1>The recent pricing has the X at six fifty, which
<v Speaker 1>is one hundred and fifty dollars increase since launch, and
<v Speaker 1>the series S is for some reason this is saying
<v Speaker 1>between four hundred and four to fifty. I'm not sure
<v Speaker 1>if there's different models there, but that's up from three hundred,
<v Speaker 1>which is very sizeable. That's one hundred hundred fifty dollars more.
<v Speaker 1>Other examples we have Quest three increased one hundred dollars
<v Speaker 1>and the Quest three S increased by fifty, so that's
<v Speaker 1>a Quest as well. And then outside of like the more,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what you call those. I guess Prioritary,
<v Speaker 1>prior Prairie. The big consoles, the big companies right have
<v Speaker 1>like Lenovo, Legion Go which I've taken a look at
<v Speaker 1>these on the channel before. Here is the Go S,
<v Speaker 1>the Z two and the Z one Extreme. The prices
<v Speaker 1>of these got raised about I think it was seventy
<v Speaker 1>five percent for the Z one Extreme model, which was
<v Speaker 1>a six hundred and eighty dollars increase. Now these things,
<v Speaker 1>these these monster devices, These are very like RAM heavy.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>The Lenova Go to is now up by night. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>so that's that was my next thing. So this has
<v Speaker 1>gone up ninety percent to three thousand.
<v Speaker 2>Dollars, why just buy a PC at that point?
<v Speaker 1>I mean good luck because the rams expensive rams going there.
<v Speaker 1>I actually just built a PC and the RAM was
<v Speaker 1>definitely the most expensive part. It was like fifteen oh
<v Speaker 1>my gosh. So yeah, this is up to three thousand ninety.
<v Speaker 1>I think it was around fifteen hundred. And obviously, these things,
<v Speaker 1>their whole stick is that they're these super fast, super
<v Speaker 1>powerful handheld PCs. And again, yeah, they were live very
<v Speaker 1>heavily on fast RAM, of course, and that RAM is
<v Speaker 1>getting super expensive now. And the Switch is obviously a
<v Speaker 1>newer console. It also relies on some pretty fast RAM
<v Speaker 1>and some pretty fast low times and all of that whatever.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know what's in it, but the same stuff
<v Speaker 1>that's in all of these, right, yeah, okay, you can
<v Speaker 1>cut away.
<v Speaker 2>I'll see if I have any more examples. Oh yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I do.
<v Speaker 1>Actually, the the A and Thor is another one, the
<v Speaker 1>Iron thought. I haven't seen a lot about that. First
<v Speaker 1>they just announced it too, I think, right like they go, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they yeah, they just announced the price increase. But I
<v Speaker 1>think they did go up a little bit already. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>so the Iron thaw here gets a price increase. It
<v Speaker 1>went from four hundred and thirty then it went up
<v Speaker 1>to four hundred and fifty, and now it's up to
<v Speaker 1>four hundred and ninety due to the increased RAM and
<v Speaker 1>then soon the thor Max. Yeah, I mean if you
<v Speaker 1>want one that, I think there's a new one coming,
<v Speaker 1>so you could wait for the next on Twitter man, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Bob loves this thing.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Video.
<v Speaker 1>I had no interest, and then all of a sudden
<v Speaker 1>I heard about all the price raising stuff and I
<v Speaker 1>started looking at it and I was like, Oh, this
<v Speaker 1>thing can do three DS and it's multiply cool. Sick anyway,
<v Speaker 1>the thor Max will now sell for five to fifty,
<v Speaker 1>which I'm not sure what of the Oh okay, so
<v Speaker 1>it started at four thirty, now it's up to five
<v Speaker 1>to fifty. Over one hundred dollars increase on that one two.
<v Speaker 1>So we're seeing it across the board on everything, which
<v Speaker 1>then takes us to the question of the day, which
<v Speaker 1>is will the switch to have a price increase? So
<v Speaker 1>we have two articles to look at here, one from WECE,
<v Speaker 1>which is reporting on a Bloomberg article, which Bloomberg.
<v Speaker 2>Bloomberg is more.
<v Speaker 1>Like industry and cider type stuff, hearing things, hearing things,
<v Speaker 1>and then the other one we're going to read both
<v Speaker 1>of these. My God, I need to get an ad
<v Speaker 1>blocker VGC which is reporting on Kit and Christa because
<v Speaker 1>they had a ex sales lead named Sean who was
<v Speaker 1>on their podcast talking about the price increase. So let
<v Speaker 1>me read this one first. So again, this is someone
<v Speaker 1>that used to work at Nintendo in the sales department.
<v Speaker 1>In an interview with Kitt and christ of the former
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo employee, who was referred to simply as Sean, He's
<v Speaker 1>like Share, but Sean has no last name. Sean was
<v Speaker 1>asked about Sony's recent PS five price hike and whether
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo would follow suit. Sean replied that one, Nintendo will
<v Speaker 1>likely do its best to recruit to resist increasing the
<v Speaker 1>switch to price for as long as possible, which I'll
<v Speaker 1>say they've already done once because remember when this thing
<v Speaker 1>launched and they had to delay the not they didn't
<v Speaker 1>delay it, but they were like, oh wait, hold up a.
<v Speaker 2>Minute because the tariff scene.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and then they essentially kept the switch to at
<v Speaker 1>the same price, but they raised the price of all
<v Speaker 1>the accessories. That was them already resisting a price increase,
<v Speaker 1>That was them already sinking some cost, which leans into
<v Speaker 1>what I'm going to get too earlier with I do
<v Speaker 1>really I agree that I think they're going to resist
<v Speaker 1>for as long as possible, and they might they might
<v Speaker 1>resist altogether, but I guess we'll see where we get
<v Speaker 1>with that. But he feels it's inevitable that an increase
<v Speaker 1>will come eventually, and that Nintendo's recent decision to sell
<v Speaker 1>digital games for less than physical games may be an
<v Speaker 1>attempt to soften any backlash, which is also interesting because
<v Speaker 1>we're going to get into this too because we have
<v Speaker 1>Splatoon Raiders on the doc for later. Yes, they have
<v Speaker 1>revealed the prices for that game sixty physical fifty digital,
<v Speaker 1>so they, as far as we can tell, are actually
<v Speaker 1>making these games cheaper. We did have a whole conversation
<v Speaker 1>about that on this podcast. It's this is a better
<v Speaker 1>indication of Okay, it is cheaper, fifty is cheap, fifty
<v Speaker 1>is cheaper. But they are still hiding. They're going to
<v Speaker 1>forever be able to hide behind the guys of variable pricing,
<v Speaker 1>so we don't Nintendo doesn't really have a set price.
<v Speaker 1>It's not like every game is seventy and now Raiders
<v Speaker 1>is sixty digital and it's like, oh that is cheap.
<v Speaker 1>It's it's it's kind of hard to tell if this
<v Speaker 1>is variable pricing.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and physical more it seems like variable pricing because
<v Speaker 2>maybe the game they know it's not worth seventy for
<v Speaker 2>yeah at all, it's physical.
<v Speaker 1>It's very much whether you are looking at this as
<v Speaker 1>glass hass full or glass half empty. It can really
<v Speaker 1>go either way because on paper, if you just look
<v Speaker 1>at it for what it is, digital is cheaper. End
<v Speaker 1>of conversation. That's the fact, and that's what they're doing.
<v Speaker 1>That's what you can see. But is it behind the
<v Speaker 1>scenes a variable pricing thing of well, this game actually
<v Speaker 1>is only fifty, but we're charging sixty for the physicals
<v Speaker 1>and it makes it look like the digital is cheaper.
<v Speaker 2>Who knows? Yeah, I mean that that makes sense, but
<v Speaker 2>I don't see I don't think that's what Nintendo's doing.
<v Speaker 1>I think like that they are, in fact decrease. Well
<v Speaker 1>that's what this guy thinks. And he used to work
<v Speaker 1>in sales.
<v Speaker 2>He would direct because like, why would they also try
<v Speaker 2>to like resist increasing prices of their consoles just to
<v Speaker 2>do something like that. I feel like they really do
<v Speaker 2>have our best interest trying to like make sure everybody's
<v Speaker 2>happy with what they're paying for.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if they have maybe not the best
<v Speaker 1>yet interest, but making sure people happy.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sure are you happy with fifty dollars Platoon?
<v Speaker 1>Well we'll talk about it, But I mean to the
<v Speaker 1>average consumer who doesn't, let's say, like, yeah, I think
<v Speaker 1>you just said it best. Like if they're looking at
<v Speaker 1>a game, let's say, like for their kid, right, and
<v Speaker 1>they see, you know, sixty dollars or physical but then
<v Speaker 1>they look on like the e shop see fifty, Oh
<v Speaker 1>well then why not just go the the cheaper around
<v Speaker 1>in their mind?
<v Speaker 2>Because if they if like the average consumer.
<v Speaker 1>Doesn't know about the variable pricing, and who's to say that,
<v Speaker 1>Like everyone does at this point, they're going to go
<v Speaker 1>for whatever is best for them in their current situation. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>especially like if you have to choose between let's say,
<v Speaker 1>eighty dollars Mario Kart, seventy dollars Yoshi, fifty dollars Splatoon,
<v Speaker 1>forty dollars Rhythm Heaven, right, you have so much variety
<v Speaker 1>now for these game prices, you're gonna go obviously, go
<v Speaker 1>with whatever you can buy at that moment.
<v Speaker 2>So it's just kind of a weird.
<v Speaker 1>It's weird that like we're it's like the roller coaster effect,
<v Speaker 1>I think at this point because we're getting so many
<v Speaker 1>different games, especially switched to exclusives that are just all
<v Speaker 1>over the place with the variable pricing. So I just
<v Speaker 1>don't think we were going to see it this much
<v Speaker 1>that fast. I agree, and I think too like people
<v Speaker 1>might think that I'm splitting hairs or being blah blah
<v Speaker 1>blah about this. But the thing is, Nintendo introduced variable pricing,
<v Speaker 1>they said they were doing that. We're still trying to
<v Speaker 1>figure out what that means. Like now, we're still trying
<v Speaker 1>to figure out what variable pricing means and what understand Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>because what makes a game worth this.
<v Speaker 2>Over the content? Maybe the brand of the game, right,
<v Speaker 2>I'm saying.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe, And now you're in reducing this other element where
<v Speaker 1>one is cheaper than the other in the same release.
<v Speaker 1>So now we have variable pricing, and we have versions
<v Speaker 1>of the game being cheaper depending on if you buy
<v Speaker 1>a digital or physical. So it's just hard to gauge
<v Speaker 1>what Nintendo is gauging for a game when they haven't
<v Speaker 1>put out like an actual thing saying hey, this is
<v Speaker 1>what this fully means, and it's just like an in
<v Speaker 1>because what was it was Doug Balls who brought up
<v Speaker 1>like a random interviews like, oh yeah, veriable pricing, you'll
<v Speaker 1>find out about it. Hey, thank you, thank you. Dat's
<v Speaker 1>it just seems like they're making stuff up, is what.
<v Speaker 1>So like we get and I don't even think we're
<v Speaker 1>going to get like an official like statement saying hey,
<v Speaker 1>this is what this is. You're just gonna be like,
<v Speaker 1>we're just gonna release games different prices.
<v Speaker 2>Doug Bowser built trend and it's dog. Here's Doug.
<v Speaker 1>But the fact of the matter is you look at
<v Speaker 1>the two of them. One of them is cheaper, it's
<v Speaker 1>the digital whatever. Like, I'm just gonna let that go.
<v Speaker 1>It is what it is. And as you said, to
<v Speaker 1>the general consumer who doesn't even know about variable pricing,
<v Speaker 1>and they just see two games on the store, one
<v Speaker 1>is cheaper and that's the digital yep. So Nintendo is
<v Speaker 1>doing what they said they were doing and that's all
<v Speaker 1>that matters at this point. So we could split hairs
<v Speaker 1>about it, but I'm bored doing that. Yeah, we've already
<v Speaker 1>done that anyway. Gosh, just for the games though, but like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>because I know we're going to go more into the
<v Speaker 1>console I think, And I was actually working on a
<v Speaker 1>video about this too.
<v Speaker 2>Believe it or not, I'm actually making a video on
<v Speaker 2>a video. I know it le.
<v Speaker 1>Me.
<v Speaker 2>I know it's a little help.
<v Speaker 1>But because I believe that the switch To, like the
<v Speaker 1>price that they released it at and the price is
<v Speaker 1>currently at, is such a great deal. I do think
<v Speaker 1>that because when you look at how like the the
<v Speaker 1>O lead was three point fifty right, yeah, fifty dollars
<v Speaker 1>increase from the original. This is only a one hundred
<v Speaker 1>dollars increase from the the olet. It's how I'm looking
<v Speaker 1>at it that Yeah, No, I agree with yeah so,
<v Speaker 1>And I honestly think the screen is nicer than the
<v Speaker 1>OLED strength.
<v Speaker 2>It looks way better. I had go ahead for els. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I had a friend actually who she was considering buying
<v Speaker 1>a switch To, but she was like, I'll just wait,
<v Speaker 1>you know, wait it out. But then once the rumors
<v Speaker 1>of a price increase and just how much more there
<v Speaker 1>is to offerr, She's like, I had to buy it
<v Speaker 1>because I didn't want to one miss out and have
<v Speaker 1>to pay even more if it even happens, and too
<v Speaker 1>like the games that were coming out, Pocopia, Tominacci Life,
<v Speaker 1>they already interested her enough, was like I have to
<v Speaker 1>get this, Like I've seen a.
<v Speaker 2>Lot of people scared buying.
<v Speaker 1>Bubb's friend Jerry shout out Jerry, who has a YouTube
<v Speaker 1>channel on YouTube. Jar he he got scared in know,
<v Speaker 1>going and buying one. He put it on like layaway
<v Speaker 1>or whatever. He's like, he's like, I gotta.
<v Speaker 2>Get one now.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you know, And I don't want to scare you
<v Speaker 1>in a buying one. I will say that like it's
<v Speaker 1>a it's great. So like if you do end up
<v Speaker 1>getting one, you're not gonna regret it anyway. And it
<v Speaker 1>is relatively affordable for a console, and they're going to
<v Speaker 1>have fun with it. Yes, And we'll get to whether
<v Speaker 1>or not I think you should run out and get one.
<v Speaker 1>I will say though that I think Nintendos, if they do,
<v Speaker 1>we're getting ahead of ourselves. But if they do a
<v Speaker 1>price increase, I think fifty will be the most you'll
<v Speaker 1>see to begin with, and even at four ninety nine,
<v Speaker 1>I still think it's a good deal for that console.
<v Speaker 1>I was fully prepared, like when they before they even
<v Speaker 1>be remember they didn't even reveal the price in like
<v Speaker 1>the switch to presentation.
<v Speaker 2>People had to look that up.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I was afraid that we were going to see
<v Speaker 1>five fifty six hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Now I was shocked when I saw I was, I
<v Speaker 2>was happy.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you're reminding me now, my guess was always five hundred.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>On my bingo sheet, I had four ninety nine five
<v Speaker 1>original that's what I thought it was going to be,
<v Speaker 1>So four fifty I was like, whoa, and it's four khds.
<v Speaker 2>That would be fifty dollars more expensive than the old switch,
<v Speaker 2>especially when it didn't have an olid display.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so it might end up going up to what
<v Speaker 1>I thought it would be originally, which again I still
<v Speaker 1>think that's that's a good price.
<v Speaker 2>It's still behind.
<v Speaker 1>It's obviously a tough cell when you've when you've been
<v Speaker 1>at four fifty four. Anyway, a little ahead of ourselves there. Unfortunate.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, thank you, thank you so much.
<v Speaker 1>We actually don't have a sponsor today, but I was
<v Speaker 1>gonna plug Patreon, but can you we'll just keep the
<v Speaker 1>flow going. Can you remind me to do that once
<v Speaker 1>we're done with main quest?
<v Speaker 2>Sure? Can you lug that in your in your brain?
<v Speaker 2>Is that okay?
<v Speaker 1>Yes, okay, thank you, all right, I'll go continue here. Unfortunately,
<v Speaker 1>I think eventually the hardware price is going to have
<v Speaker 1>to go up. I think that there. I think that
<v Speaker 1>there's things that they can seem to be doing to
<v Speaker 1>try and mitigate that. I think that there's things that they.
<v Speaker 2>Try this one more time and I can't read.
<v Speaker 1>I think that there's things that they can and seem
<v Speaker 1>that's why I was getting confused to be and they
<v Speaker 1>can and seem to be doing to try and mitigain.
<v Speaker 1>But I also look at this move on on software.
<v Speaker 1>There's this on on software. I'm gonna read that one again,
<v Speaker 1>But I also look at this move on on software.
<v Speaker 2>That's not right.
<v Speaker 1>That's what I got in mind, doctor as if I'm
<v Speaker 1>reading it correctly, a way to make a hardware price
<v Speaker 1>increase a little bit more palatable. We've seen inflation being
<v Speaker 1>a problem for a while now. Tariffs are more of
<v Speaker 1>a recent nuisance, but they're not going away anytime soon.
<v Speaker 1>That demand that AI is causing for chips is causing
<v Speaker 1>memory prices to go up. And you know, within the
<v Speaker 1>past couple of weeks, we have a lot of issues
<v Speaker 1>with oil prices going through the roof, and with oil
<v Speaker 1>going through the roof, that's just shipping costs. That's not
<v Speaker 1>just shipping cost that goes up. That's you know, we
<v Speaker 1>can imagine to get to the games from wherever they're
<v Speaker 1>being manufactured, to the warehouses to the real retailer's to
<v Speaker 1>the shelf. That's going to drive up the prices as well.
<v Speaker 1>But there's other things that people might not realize. Helium
<v Speaker 1>is a byproduct of producing oil. Helium is a key
<v Speaker 1>and unreplaceable ingredient in making semiconductors, which which means hardware
<v Speaker 1>prices will go up. It's an irre unreplaceable byproduct of
<v Speaker 1>making silicon wafers, which means if you're Nintendo and you're
<v Speaker 1>producing cartridges, that's going to go up as well. That's crazy.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even know about that. So there's all these
<v Speaker 1>world events that have been for a while putting pressure
<v Speaker 1>on prices and margins, and they don't seem to be
<v Speaker 1>going away. Tariffs are going to be here for a while.
<v Speaker 1>It seems that inflation is really stubborn, and I don't
<v Speaker 1>think the issues we're seeing in the Middle East with
<v Speaker 1>oil pricing is going to help. In fact, it's likely
<v Speaker 1>going to make inflation worsen and stick around for even longer.
<v Speaker 1>I as a grown adult now in my mid thirties,
<v Speaker 1>I've been paying attention a little bit more to this
<v Speaker 1>kind of stuff. And yeah, I mean, if you don't
<v Speaker 1>live in America, you haven't been paying attention. We're already
<v Speaker 1>seeing raising gas prices. I just went and filled up
<v Speaker 1>my tank on my HONDOCRV and it was like ten
<v Speaker 1>dollars more for the whole tank than normal.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, so I never thought about dollars b fo. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it's crazy.
<v Speaker 1>I never thought about it affecting video consoles.
<v Speaker 2>It makes sense, like you said, because like you know,
<v Speaker 2>shift manufacturing exactly, everything is intertwined. So it's like you know,
<v Speaker 2>tubs inflation, AI demand oil prices, it's expecting that everything
<v Speaker 2>makes a lot of sense, which which also makes sense
<v Speaker 2>why they're doing the variable pricing thing, because if they
<v Speaker 2>can encourage people to you know, persuade people to buy digital,
<v Speaker 2>their profit margins are higher, people save a buck and
<v Speaker 2>people don't have to worry about buying physicals anymore. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>But then if you compare that to like the because
<v Speaker 2>I know there's a whole group.
<v Speaker 1>But that's sorry, that's actually really interesting, like that being
<v Speaker 1>a reason why they want the digital to be cheaper too,
<v Speaker 1>because of all the because everything happening, so it's like
<v Speaker 1>we're on a product on the shelf is costing them
<v Speaker 1>money exactly.
<v Speaker 2>So it's like it's just a nuisance for them and
<v Speaker 2>for us.
<v Speaker 1>Conduct That's good because this whole time I've been trying
<v Speaker 1>to figure out what's their incentive of making it cheaper
<v Speaker 1>for us, and it's not best opinion, our best interests.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean it's because well, yeah, it's a mix.
<v Speaker 1>That's how it has to be more to it, right,
<v Speaker 1>It's because it's costing them more money than never to
<v Speaker 1>get this stuff on the show.
<v Speaker 2>Rather than making you want and complain about the fact
<v Speaker 2>that now physicals are ninety or one hundred, they're like, well,
<v Speaker 2>here's the alternative. It's a good point.
<v Speaker 1>I was gonna say, like compared to the people that
<v Speaker 1>really truly love physical games and like want to have
<v Speaker 1>as much physical things as possible with the time to night,
<v Speaker 1>which I get so like right now, like my switch
<v Speaker 1>to is almost at full storage and I don't even
<v Speaker 1>have a sc card. I'm deleting Styno. I got, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>how big. I don't know, as big as I could
<v Speaker 1>get at the time.
<v Speaker 2>The terribytes are tough fifty. I went to games Stop
<v Speaker 2>the other day to buy one and I was like,
<v Speaker 2>jaw drop, when I doubt it, I doubt it's terribyte.
<v Speaker 2>Then it's probably half two. No, it was a terrible.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, what what are the ones that came out un launch?
<v Speaker 1>They were two fifties and then two fifty six and
<v Speaker 1>then I got I probably got two fifty.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, and the lady was trying to convince me to
<v Speaker 2>buy it now because she's like, they're all going to
<v Speaker 2>go up in the houses.
<v Speaker 1>But also they're so expensive because they have to be
<v Speaker 1>the Express, the Express, completely new ones that you can't use.
<v Speaker 1>When bub and I were at packs, it wasn't sand Disc,
<v Speaker 1>it was the other It was another company they had
<v Speaker 1>done no might who else does? It was someone but
<v Speaker 1>they had a one terrabi for switch and they said
<v Speaker 1>they were the only ones that had won.
<v Speaker 2>Really, yeah, No, there's a lot of companies now for
<v Speaker 2>the for the to Express.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but they are we I mean we literally looked
<v Speaker 1>at that on the podcast because I think one of
<v Speaker 1>you questioned me because I was like like yeah, and
<v Speaker 1>they were like two two fifty that the same price
<v Speaker 1>as the console exactly.
<v Speaker 2>We've interrupted you like three times.
<v Speaker 1>You're good, Yeah, it's almost gonna talk comment about that problem.
<v Speaker 2>I'm so sorry, brother, I know you're good. You're good, brother.
<v Speaker 1>But going back to it, like physical media, I really
<v Speaker 1>do like physical media.
<v Speaker 2>I like displaying stuff. I made a video of years ago.
<v Speaker 1>But just saying how having a collection or even just
<v Speaker 1>games in general, it's just so cool to see and
<v Speaker 1>I get that if you do want to save money
<v Speaker 1>and how it's looking. I think I just saw comments
<v Speaker 1>they too. It's variable pricing for variable marketing because the
<v Speaker 1>reason that, you know, if the consumer can truly save money,
<v Speaker 1>maybe it's a byproduct of the best interest, like you said,
<v Speaker 1>they like, you know, it's really up to them determining
<v Speaker 1>what type of game. Do they want physical, do they
<v Speaker 1>want digital? Do they really want to save money? Do
<v Speaker 1>they want to you know, complete their collection?
<v Speaker 2>Whatever?
<v Speaker 1>Right at that point, But it really just it just
<v Speaker 1>depends on the person.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I feel like based off of like everyone that
<v Speaker 2>I know who owns a switch, ninety nine percent of
<v Speaker 2>them who own switches don't care about physicals. That's a
<v Speaker 2>very small niche group of people who care about getting
<v Speaker 2>the physical game because they always want the game collect exactly.
<v Speaker 2>They're collectors. They like to have physical everything. It feels
<v Speaker 2>like they're actually purchasing something. Well that's me. Yeah, you're
<v Speaker 2>that guy. Yeah, I'm that guy. I feel like the
<v Speaker 2>majority of people well, I mean, we did this before,
<v Speaker 2>but it was like kind of torn, but everybody's moving
<v Speaker 2>towards digital Paul and Chat, okay, chat.
<v Speaker 1>I asked them if they're collecting physically or digitally more
<v Speaker 1>these days in the little meantime here, I'm going to
<v Speaker 1>keep reading this, which you were. Oh no, there was
<v Speaker 1>a bit more actually, but yeah, I guess his point
<v Speaker 1>is like, even if they make concessions in some areas,
<v Speaker 1>hardware prices are eventually going to go up.
<v Speaker 2>Did you finish what you were going to say? Finally?
<v Speaker 1>H yeah, I think Okay, I met. I'm just making sure.
<v Speaker 1>Sean added that one Nintendo would try to offset profit
<v Speaker 1>margins with other upcoming such as merchandise. Say, well, likely,
<v Speaker 1>I will say on that note, Nintendo, and we've talked
<v Speaker 1>about this on the podcast before, are the the is
<v Speaker 1>the one gaming company out of the you can I'll
<v Speaker 1>do this is the one gaming company. I see you,
<v Speaker 1>I can see you laughing now. I have Brenton on
<v Speaker 1>my screen final when he laughed when I did that,
<v Speaker 1>pulls up is the one company out of Xbox, PlayStation
<v Speaker 1>and Nintendo that actually have consistently turned a profit on
<v Speaker 1>their hardware. PlayStation and Xbox have been selling their consoles
<v Speaker 1>at a loss like this whole time. It costs them
<v Speaker 1>more to manufacture each one then they sell them for Nintendo.
<v Speaker 1>With the switch one, we're making money per unit. I
<v Speaker 1>know that they're making money per unit on the switch too.
<v Speaker 1>I think we looked it up once and they I
<v Speaker 1>think they were. The estimate made it as they were
<v Speaker 1>clearing it from anywhere between like thirty to sixty dollars
<v Speaker 1>I think, or something like that might be fabricating the way.
<v Speaker 2>Sorry I messed up the poul Sorry sorry. Do you
<v Speaker 2>collect physical or digital? Yes? Or no? That was a
<v Speaker 2>very bud. Yes, they collected both.
<v Speaker 1>So Nintendo, it cost them and estimated three hundred and
<v Speaker 1>thirty eight dollars to four hundred dollars to make a switch. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>and they're selling them at four fifty, so they actually
<v Speaker 1>do have wiggle room to increase the well, actually.
<v Speaker 2>They're still making no other way.
<v Speaker 1>But it's yeah, even if they even if they sink,
<v Speaker 1>like let's say they let's say another company would have
<v Speaker 1>to increase by fifty dollars, they wouldn't have to increase
<v Speaker 1>and still be turning a profit. So their their manufacturing
<v Speaker 1>costs can increase for a while before it would tip
<v Speaker 1>over to the point where the price there's got so
<v Speaker 1>much they were out of the profit.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I was reading about how Japan, in Japan, they're
<v Speaker 2>losing money on selling switches.
<v Speaker 1>They're losing money on the I believe, and you can
<v Speaker 1>correct me. They're losing money on the Japanese version of
<v Speaker 1>the switch because they sell them for fifty or one
<v Speaker 1>hundred dollars.
<v Speaker 2>Think it's for one hundred dollars and.
<v Speaker 1>It's only in it's only in Japanese, so you can't
<v Speaker 1>you can't import one. But it's all like I think,
<v Speaker 1>it's pretty locked. And the reason they do that is
<v Speaker 1>it's something about giving back to their country. Fake some summary,
<v Speaker 1>there's something whatever, I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Google it. Yeah it says so it says. Reports indicate
<v Speaker 2>that Nintendo is likely losing money on everything tennant switch
<v Speaker 2>to units sold in Japan, well analysts estimating a loss
<v Speaker 2>of roughly one hundred and sixty dollars per console.
<v Speaker 1>So do they only sell that cheap Japanese one there
<v Speaker 1>or do they sell that one and an unregional locked one?
<v Speaker 2>No, they just apparently it's just in the Japanese exclusive advising.
<v Speaker 1>That's why people want to import. That one specifically came out.
<v Speaker 2>So it says that they're approximately cost four hundred dollars. Ye,
<v Speaker 2>they're selling them for three twenty four.
<v Speaker 1>Can you look up why why is it cheaper?
<v Speaker 2>I actually do remember reading an article about something.
<v Speaker 1>It's something to do with giving Yeah, I don't say
<v Speaker 1>giving back, but it's something like that. It's something some
<v Speaker 1>charitable cause for Japan. So yeah, that that one that
<v Speaker 1>obviously they're selling for a loss this one then, But
<v Speaker 1>my point is that they can hold out for longer.
<v Speaker 1>It just depends on how high these costs get. And
<v Speaker 1>then once it flips over to they start losing money
<v Speaker 1>per unit, they need to decide are they comfortable to
<v Speaker 1>live in a world where they do lose money per
<v Speaker 1>unit like Xbox and PlayStation do. Because the reason why
<v Speaker 1>and I talk about this a lot, so sorry for
<v Speaker 1>being a broken record, the reason why that makes sense
<v Speaker 1>for Xbox and PlayStation to sell their consoles at a
<v Speaker 1>loss is because once you have the console, you got
<v Speaker 1>to buy the games exactly, you know, especially to make
<v Speaker 1>the money. Yes, especially if you're buying like a disc
<v Speaker 1>liss PlayStation, because you've got to buy everything off the
<v Speaker 1>marketplace at full price, right, and they take money from that.
<v Speaker 1>Xbox has game Pass where you like do that, But
<v Speaker 1>all the software, any micro transactions, anything you buy on
<v Speaker 1>the on, the on the on the cardware itself is
<v Speaker 1>what makes the money. The money, so it outweighs the
<v Speaker 1>loss cost. So at some point for Nintendo, if they
<v Speaker 1>flip over to losing money, they just need to decide, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>but we are making money from subscriptions, Nintendo Online, people
<v Speaker 1>buying our games, our creamium price costs. Yeah, our high
<v Speaker 1>price of games that we have. Like, at what point
<v Speaker 1>does it then tip over to Okay, now we're out
<v Speaker 1>of the realm and we have to do what PlayStation
<v Speaker 1>and Xbox did because we're just not comfortable losing as
<v Speaker 1>much money. Yeah, that's the question that Nintendo has to answer,
<v Speaker 1>of course, which I think is essentially what this guy
<v Speaker 1>is saying. He's saying that they're gonna hold off as
<v Speaker 1>long as they can, and I think that's the battle
<v Speaker 1>they're having internally right now, Like whatever stage they're at. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>all the business leaders are trying to determine what if
<v Speaker 1>they do have a time frame, which I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if you have thought of like let's I mean or
<v Speaker 1>is a SI like do you think maybe like a
<v Speaker 1>year or so from now? Like they could be like
<v Speaker 1>all right, well, well you know it also depends on
<v Speaker 1>what games are out of that point too, because they're
<v Speaker 1>saying a year from now or maybe even two years,
<v Speaker 1>you'll have your Pokemon, You'll have potentially Mario zeldas, you know,
<v Speaker 1>all the other potential rumored things at that At what
<v Speaker 1>point do you think that your games are going to
<v Speaker 1>do more the lifting where you don't have to increase
<v Speaker 1>or are you just going to say, well, let's just
<v Speaker 1>do it to be better to be safe than sorry,
<v Speaker 1>let's increase it now. So that way, when we are
<v Speaker 1>at a point where the consoles like two or three
<v Speaker 1>years old, what can you do after that? Like do
<v Speaker 1>you want to bring them back down or like are
<v Speaker 1>they able to bring it back down? Are these do
<v Speaker 1>you think like credit some.
<v Speaker 2>Point they can maybe make like a cheaper model like
<v Speaker 2>they did with the switch light. Yeah they Yeah, that's interesting.
<v Speaker 1>I was gonna say at this point too, Like two
<v Speaker 1>years from now, let's say Xbox will be on whatever
<v Speaker 1>project score was. It's a new project called I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>so whatever it is, they're their final attempt of the
<v Speaker 1>consoles when I'm calling it, and then the PS six
<v Speaker 1>probably right, they'll already be out of like the PS five,
<v Speaker 1>Xbox X and S area. We'll still be in the
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo switch to lifeline or lifespan, Yeah, lifespan where they
<v Speaker 1>could probably I would say, maybe have a better idea
<v Speaker 1>of if they want to increase it or not. But
<v Speaker 1>then again, just how soon after we talked about this,
<v Speaker 1>and I forget all the time, when did the switch
<v Speaker 1>light come out?
<v Speaker 2>Was it two years or three years in?
<v Speaker 1>I want to say twenty nineteen, So two years in, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>Because what if led to I think Sally's point, what
<v Speaker 1>if they hold out for another year and then they
<v Speaker 1>drop a switch to light that's like three hundred and
<v Speaker 1>fifty dollars or something, so like it's preface, and then
<v Speaker 1>the switch to goes up fifty dollars. So at the
<v Speaker 1>same day as getting a more expensive switch too, you
<v Speaker 1>also have this more affordable version that's still a little
<v Speaker 1>bit more than the switch light was. But you have
<v Speaker 1>a cheaper option exactly. That could be something that they do.
<v Speaker 2>It could be bad.
<v Speaker 1>And then to your point, night, yeah they could.
<v Speaker 2>I would.
<v Speaker 1>I would see them holding off until like a three
<v Speaker 1>D Mario comes out, yea heavy head Sea and then
<v Speaker 1>because I think if they dropped it right now, there's
<v Speaker 1>that's random because we haven't had a good, big game
<v Speaker 1>in a while. I mean, Piccopia was pretty big, but
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if that's enough to justify Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>mean for a little bit, it probably did, but you're
<v Speaker 1>you're thinking like, yeah, a year ahead when we don't
<v Speaker 1>have a release dame for winds and Waves and maybe
<v Speaker 1>maybe like after like even if they did a big direct,
<v Speaker 1>even even if there was a big direct revealed all
<v Speaker 1>this stuff, and then the day after or maybe that
<v Speaker 1>day on Twitter that like well also the price, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that'd be that'd be the that'd be the greatest or
<v Speaker 1>not greatest thing. But yeah, they finally give us a
<v Speaker 1>direct and them afterwards they're like, yeah, price increase, have fun.
<v Speaker 1>I could see something like that sweet moment. Oh man,
<v Speaker 1>I could even see them addressing it in the direct.
<v Speaker 1>I don't see, No, probably not, they would not, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>probably not, man, what's his name.
<v Speaker 2>I'm trying to remember who's like the guy that does
<v Speaker 2>the directs.
<v Speaker 1>Now, I do know for disembodied Voice something something like that,
<v Speaker 1>but like they march him out there and say, by
<v Speaker 1>the way, guys, we just won't let you know, we
<v Speaker 1>are going to increase the price.
<v Speaker 2>But yeah, anyways, so it says that the price switch
<v Speaker 2>in for the switch to in Japan is to combat
<v Speaker 2>the weak or yen make the console affordable for local
<v Speaker 2>consumers and thwart resellers.
<v Speaker 1>So okay, they go, okay, resellers is in like like
<v Speaker 1>foreid Yeah, people like buying and reselling it scolopers, so
<v Speaker 1>they sell that at a loss, which again, like that's
<v Speaker 1>how that's how other companies operate. Yeah, that's how they
<v Speaker 1>sell at a loss, so you know, they make their
<v Speaker 1>money back.
<v Speaker 2>So it just depends. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>When so PlayStation five just increased their prices what like
<v Speaker 1>a month ago, Yeah, and they went up one hundred dollars.
<v Speaker 1>So let's say Nintendo would have had to have done
<v Speaker 1>the same around that time, but they held off, so
<v Speaker 1>their price would go from four to fifty to five
<v Speaker 1>fifty fifty, Okay, So that would put them then just
<v Speaker 1>essentially in the red. I think it would. It would
<v Speaker 1>put them just over. So let's say low estimates they
<v Speaker 1>they sell they make them for three fifty, it's a
<v Speaker 1>low estimate. They sell it for four fifty. So if
<v Speaker 1>their price went up one hundred dollars alongside PlayStation, they
<v Speaker 1>would still be breaking even. I see, So they this
<v Speaker 1>is just this is completely random. Their prices could be
<v Speaker 1>different to PlayStation's prices. I'm just trying to like figure
<v Speaker 1>things out match down the rest of the market, so
<v Speaker 1>they're technically still covered without having to price increase. It
<v Speaker 1>just depends on again, are they okay with breaking even?
<v Speaker 1>How long until the red at this point?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, because it says for like countries, like not every
<v Speaker 2>single country is like equal. So some countries that are
<v Speaker 2>to red, some countries are just slightly to make often
<v Speaker 2>in some countries are like breaking.
<v Speaker 1>They could be making better profits in other countries, not
<v Speaker 1>so much in these countries. Yeah, so it could be
<v Speaker 1>all over the place. It's just a lot to There's
<v Speaker 1>a lot to think about. And I'm not going to
<v Speaker 1>even for a little bit assume that I know what
<v Speaker 1>I'm talking about. Say, if we're bad at math, I
<v Speaker 1>don't think economics is another thing. I don't know nothing
<v Speaker 1>about nobody, but it makes sense that like stuff makes it,
<v Speaker 1>they just want you to have this so then they
<v Speaker 1>can make the profits off of the games and the
<v Speaker 1>subscriptions and all that good. Ultimately too, like if raised
<v Speaker 1>the price, even if it makes sense for them to
<v Speaker 1>raise the price internally because of costs, if raising the
<v Speaker 1>price affects the public image and affects the sales and
<v Speaker 1>affects many people are picking it up and then buying
<v Speaker 1>the hardware, it becomes counterintuitive. Yeah, and Nintendo are really
<v Speaker 1>seen as the affordable company. I really feel like that's
<v Speaker 1>the pocket that they sit in. And as soon as
<v Speaker 1>their prices start getting up into like out of people's
<v Speaker 1>price range or closer to PlayStation or xbox, even though
<v Speaker 1>those prices are going up to really high, they start
<v Speaker 1>getting into a realm of like one people are our
<v Speaker 1>consumer base can't afford it anymore. Yeah, which is something
<v Speaker 1>I think.
<v Speaker 2>That's the thing. A lot of people were complaining about
<v Speaker 2>the price of the switch to when when initially it
<v Speaker 2>was revealed and then sold seventeen million.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, people, I know. I was saying, like, you know,
<v Speaker 1>we'll complain and then we'll still buy it. You know,
<v Speaker 1>they complain because people don't know what people don't know
<v Speaker 1>what's good for them. Sometimes they some I say that nicely,
<v Speaker 1>because again, if the switch too came out at the
<v Speaker 1>switch ones price point, what is it that you're hoping
<v Speaker 1>that it does that the Switch one didn't already do?
<v Speaker 2>Like at some point, you gotta things cost more money.
<v Speaker 1>You can better hardware, better internals, like better like like
<v Speaker 1>things that like can run prug mater and residing the
<v Speaker 1>nine that costs one hundred bucks more or we can
<v Speaker 1>go another eight years was something that can't run witcher. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you know, like, wait, you gotta pick your battles here. Yep,
<v Speaker 1>you got to invest a little bit more to make
<v Speaker 1>the next eight years worth your money pretty much in
<v Speaker 1>my opinion anyway. Okay, so that was essentially the meat
<v Speaker 1>of there is there's a bit more that he said,
<v Speaker 1>but I think that we've kind of like got the
<v Speaker 1>meat of what Sean said there. And then over on
<v Speaker 1>intent on Vice switch to price hike reportedly coming, I believe,
<v Speaker 1>and I'm gonna start reading this, I believe it's not
<v Speaker 1>reporting on the same thing, because this is a new
<v Speaker 1>report from Bloomberg claims the switch to price increase could
<v Speaker 1>happen soon, and if true, the new handheld console would
<v Speaker 1>be one of the teno's most expensive gaming devices of
<v Speaker 1>all time. And the outlet also claims that Sony is
<v Speaker 1>considering delaying the place to six twenty twenty nine. Oh,
<v Speaker 1>which would also be because of all of this stuff,
<v Speaker 1>which this does sound like a different a different thing here.
<v Speaker 1>So Nintendo is seriously considering a switch to price increase,
<v Speaker 1>according to outlet reports. The outlet doesn't go into detail
<v Speaker 1>about what the new potential pricing could be. However, they
<v Speaker 1>claim the new price hike as a result of the
<v Speaker 1>worldwide dr am shortage and hardware price skyrocketing. Close sony
<v Speaker 1>rival Nintendo Co. Who contributed to the surplus demand into
<v Speaker 1>A twenty five after its new switch to console drove
<v Speaker 1>storage card prices, is also contemplating raising the price of
<v Speaker 1>the device In twenty twenty six, People familiar with the
<v Speaker 1>with its plans said Sony and Nintendo representatives didn't respond
<v Speaker 1>to a crest for comment of course, yeah, of course,
<v Speaker 1>which also isn't like a great sign when Bloomberg is
<v Speaker 1>asking for a comment and then then there's like we declined, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>We're not talking about that. You might normally write this
<v Speaker 1>off as a rumor, but Bloomberg is one of the
<v Speaker 1>most veaturable sites in the industry. Yeah, yeah, that's a thing.
<v Speaker 1>Although it should be pointed out the outlet confirms that
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo wouldn't respond to their request. The publisher not responding
<v Speaker 1>could point towards it being true. Then again, the Nintendo
<v Speaker 1>also has a history of not making comments on leaks.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I would say it would go either way. It's just
<v Speaker 1>not a great sign. I mean, obviously a good sign
<v Speaker 1>with them being like, no, we didn't get that though. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>they want to try to keep whatever it's going on,
<v Speaker 1>like as close to their hand as possible. Yeah. Because also,
<v Speaker 1>like even if that's it's a tough thing to comment on,
<v Speaker 1>because even if right now they're like no, if in
<v Speaker 1>a month changed that, the DRM goes up even more
<v Speaker 1>and then they're like, well, actually we are, then they
<v Speaker 1>look like liars. Yeah. I think that's pretty much all
<v Speaker 1>that was said here. So this isn't sean. This is
<v Speaker 1>something as as Bloomberg talking the industry insiders and saying
<v Speaker 1>that Nintendo are seriously considering it, which also isn't a
<v Speaker 1>confirmed answer, and it's still kind of just a rumor
<v Speaker 1>in a league. When I hear all of this and
<v Speaker 1>I see it happening in the industry, my first thought was,
<v Speaker 1>this is gonna happen. Yeah, my first gut instinct is
<v Speaker 1>this is gonna happen. It's gonna go up. Whether it's
<v Speaker 1>you know, fifty dollars, I doubt it would be one
<v Speaker 1>hundred and fifty might be at like a start, or
<v Speaker 1>they find another workaround like game prices or accessories, but
<v Speaker 1>I think ultimately the console goes up.
<v Speaker 2>That was my first indication. Yeah, yeah, like fifty to
<v Speaker 2>one hundred dollars. That's what I felt about.
<v Speaker 1>Just just looking at what everything else that's happening, and
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo is not exempt from it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>The only thing that gives me pause and makes me
<v Speaker 1>think that it won't happen is what I'm saying with
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo just being that company that they already make a
<v Speaker 1>profit so they can hold out longer, and even if
<v Speaker 1>they start not making a profit, that just puts them
<v Speaker 1>in the same position all the other companies have been in.
<v Speaker 1>So it just depends to them if they can, if
<v Speaker 1>they can take that, if they if they want that,
<v Speaker 1>and to keep that and to like lose the profits
<v Speaker 1>and to keep their price just so they keep their
<v Speaker 1>image of Our console hasn't gone up. Our con console
<v Speaker 1>is the affordable console. Our console is literally, at this
<v Speaker 1>point almost half the price of a PlayStation five prose
<v Speaker 1>and it can run all the same games.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, unless Nintendo start dropping physical games for ninety
<v Speaker 2>and then making.
<v Speaker 1>It unless they make other things more expensive, and they
<v Speaker 1>do that, then it's like, okay, yeah, I'm interested to
<v Speaker 1>see what Pokemon is going to be priced at, and
<v Speaker 1>I'm also interested to see what that is, Like, I'm
<v Speaker 1>interested in that. But right, that doesn't really make sense though,
<v Speaker 1>because the reason why a console would go up is
<v Speaker 1>for RAM and those other things don't have RAM. So
<v Speaker 1>that's just what's the expression robbing Peter to PayPal? Well,
<v Speaker 1>have you heard that expression? That sounds like an express
<v Speaker 1>You're just like, you're borrowing money from here to pay
<v Speaker 1>this guy, you know, but you still owe this guy money.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you're just molding money. It's endless.
<v Speaker 1>It's endless, so you may as well just raise the
<v Speaker 1>price on the thing that needs the price increase at
<v Speaker 1>that point. So it's just whether or not they're going
<v Speaker 1>to raise the price of the console. And again, my
<v Speaker 1>only pause is that they they've already been making a
<v Speaker 1>profit on this thing, so they can hold out for
<v Speaker 1>longer than other consoles. And that's what we're seeing right now.
<v Speaker 1>It's just a matter of how long and will they
<v Speaker 1>eventually cave and raise the price one last thing too?
<v Speaker 1>Do you think that's another reason why they haven't made
<v Speaker 1>so many like special editions, because I feel like with
<v Speaker 1>the Switch there was like maybe within like the first
<v Speaker 1>year or two, there was already at least three or
<v Speaker 1>four different special editions that came with games bundled in.
<v Speaker 2>I know, the Switch too long.
<v Speaker 1>I mean maybe, but if they're like still trying to
<v Speaker 1>push this thing and they're still selling this thing at
<v Speaker 1>this price, that's the price they've decided to sell it at,
<v Speaker 1>so they've got to keep doing things to push it
<v Speaker 1>at that price, whether it's a special edition or something else,
<v Speaker 1>sort of it's all the same hardway, you're just painting it.
<v Speaker 1>So I don't think that's the reason. I think maybe
<v Speaker 1>they just that hasn't They just haven't wanted to do
<v Speaker 1>one yet, makes sense.
<v Speaker 2>I think that's more I.
<v Speaker 1>Kind of I mean, this is me, I kind of
<v Speaker 1>hope they don't just because I don't want to buy
<v Speaker 1>another one. I do think we'll get one this year.
<v Speaker 1>I think that would you like to see? I think
<v Speaker 1>that would go.
<v Speaker 2>A split.
<v Speaker 1>That're not gonna I don't think they'll do one for raiders.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think that. As I said, probably and four,
<v Speaker 1>but I think the first one we talked about this,
<v Speaker 1>I think at one absolutely. I think so holiday season
<v Speaker 1>special editions switch with a news Elda. Yeah, I hate
<v Speaker 1>when they do that, man, but that's Christmas vibes.
<v Speaker 2>Man. I know I can't get a wrap.
<v Speaker 1>And hey, if someone wants to to steal a bunch
<v Speaker 1>off a truck and send me one a month early again,
<v Speaker 1>I'm ready.
<v Speaker 2>You know somebody that works out a warehouse, contact.
<v Speaker 1>Me, contact me, contact contact us both, I'll get you.
<v Speaker 2>I'll get three. Three, let's run that. Four.
<v Speaker 1>We need one for Red, we'll get We'll get one
<v Speaker 1>for Red.
<v Speaker 2>Real quick.
<v Speaker 1>The poll right now, you got to cut to yourself
<v Speaker 1>with the thumbs out. You got to cut to yourself
<v Speaker 1>way more thumbs up again. Yeah, the poll right now
<v Speaker 1>is out of three hundred plus votes, seventy physical collectors
<v Speaker 1>tweet are digital. I honestly felt like the number was
<v Speaker 1>a little higher than digital. But also these are my viewers,
<v Speaker 1>so who knows it might be a bit bias intaneous.
<v Speaker 2>I'm saying like from my personal life experience of.
<v Speaker 1>Well even in my life, like I mean, I don't
<v Speaker 1>know that many people that buy a ton of switch
<v Speaker 1>to games with Bubbs old digital. So I mean that's
<v Speaker 1>a fifty to fifty right there.
<v Speaker 2>I know.
<v Speaker 1>Can you end that, Polly and do one that? Do
<v Speaker 1>you think the switch to will get a price increase?
<v Speaker 2>Yes? No, After all these facts laid, do they denied
<v Speaker 2>to comment on what is a bloomberg? I think that's
<v Speaker 2>just a safe deny no, because that's going to stir
<v Speaker 2>the pot now and it's going to create controversy more
<v Speaker 2>if they said yes no. So the fact that if
<v Speaker 2>they could have just said no if it's not happening.
<v Speaker 1>But then he made a point to say that, who's
<v Speaker 1>to say that they wouldn't change their mind. That's nothing
<v Speaker 1>they could even if they were like even if they
<v Speaker 1>did go on records.
<v Speaker 2>They could have just said as of now, we have
<v Speaker 2>no intention of increasing. That would be the best thing
<v Speaker 2>that would have been, Like I would see where they're good,
<v Speaker 2>and I don't even thinking about it right now. But
<v Speaker 2>that is still kind of a no. And then if
<v Speaker 2>they turned around in a month and did it anyway,
<v Speaker 2>they don't have their justifications for it. Of course there's
<v Speaker 2>that the other and then it's like, Okay, we understand,
<v Speaker 2>because now I understand, like.
<v Speaker 1>We would understand because we're rational thirty five year olds.
<v Speaker 2>And I already bombed. I don't think people. I don't
<v Speaker 2>think people. You wouldn't understand. I don't get it. What
<v Speaker 2>is Yeah, I don't care. Price went on? I like
<v Speaker 2>the video game? Right, come on? The price went up
<v Speaker 2>by how much? Six seven? Okay? Okay, I probably would
<v Speaker 2>do that, but no, no, that's birthday, bro, come on.
<v Speaker 1>I felt I felt cringe doing I was just copying
<v Speaker 1>what he does every day.
<v Speaker 2>I don't do that every day. That's six seven? You
<v Speaker 2>know how fast you could do it?
<v Speaker 1>I didn't want to do that. It was like a yeah, camera,
<v Speaker 1>how fast you can do it?
<v Speaker 2>What was your number? I didn't do it.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just maybe I should know. Night definitely did it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he's embarrassed to say you're gonna do it on your birthday? Huh?
<v Speaker 1>Actually maybe should No? No, no, don't in my head,
<v Speaker 1>come on, come on, gosh. All right, there's a poll
<v Speaker 1>in chat for that. And while you guys are voting
<v Speaker 1>on that, I'm going to take a second to talk
<v Speaker 1>about Patreon. We have no sponsor today, although we are
<v Speaker 1>going to be going through some hot sources you guys
<v Speaker 1>can buy later, but that's not really a sponsor. Patreon
<v Speaker 1>is supporting the show for first and foremost. Sally has
<v Speaker 1>been taking the reins and contacting people, posting things up,
<v Speaker 1>putting behind the scenes.
<v Speaker 2>Patreon paid off. Please put your address in respond to me.
<v Speaker 1>Patreon is solely what's making this show possible as far
<v Speaker 1>as like paying all of this crew and this studio
<v Speaker 1>and putting everything together every week, and the time and
<v Speaker 1>energy that goes into it.
<v Speaker 2>It's because of you, guys.
<v Speaker 1>So whether you're a five dollars Patreon or a twenty

<v Speaker 1>Patreon page that once you log in you'll get access
<v Speaker 1>to everything. This bonus audio episode ended up in the
<v Speaker 1>wrong spot, so don't look at that.
<v Speaker 2>Uh.
<v Speaker 1>These are the episod so it's the behind the scenes
<v Speaker 1>that you can get full from my POV inside Nontendo Studios.
<v Speaker 2>WHOA.

<v Speaker 1>went to watch the Mario movie together. Here's a little
<v Speaker 1>bit of pat filming on my phone. He can get

<v Speaker 1>up here, and there'll be more. I mean today we're
<v Speaker 1>doing a bonus episode right after this episode, yes, where
<v Speaker 1>we're going to be answering all of these Q and
<v Speaker 1>A questions and talking with chat. There's actually twenty five
<v Speaker 1>questions here, locked and loaded from patreons. Couldn't be more excited.
<v Speaker 1>Cut away again, please thank you so much. The VIP
<v Speaker 1>patreons get sent rewards every single month, and I actually
<v Speaker 1>have one. Oh here Wood got his reward for the month.
<v Speaker 1>This is how the rewards are going to be sent out.
<v Speaker 1>I think someone's addresses on it.
<v Speaker 2>Are you gonna open that? I'm going to open it, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Because I don't know if I'm I don't know whose
<v Speaker 1>this is, but some one. I don't know why it
<v Speaker 1>was on the desk. I'm just going to open it.
<v Speaker 1>And then if we have to print it again, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. But you're going to get an envelope just
<v Speaker 1>like this. And what this is? Did I show it
<v Speaker 1>on the episode last we Yes? So there was an
<v Speaker 1>old Nintendo Fun Club that you could join back in
<v Speaker 1>the day and they would send you a member card.
<v Speaker 1>So we've sent it out just the same way, and
<v Speaker 1>you'll open it up.
<v Speaker 2>I want one. I want to laminate it and keep
<v Speaker 2>it in my wallet.
<v Speaker 1>It's already laminated. I'm gonna double laminate it. You could,
<v Speaker 1>you could thick laminate it.
<v Speaker 2>Exactly like an actual, like full card type thing, unless
<v Speaker 2>it's illegal.
<v Speaker 1>Oh this is a misprint, that's why. That's why it did.
<v Speaker 1>But this is how it will turn that. This will
<v Speaker 1>be red not pink. I think she ran out of
<v Speaker 1>ink on the pink is kind of it's a hot
<v Speaker 1>peach pink. And then you can literally punch this out
<v Speaker 1>which I haven't tried yet.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, and the stick is in here too. Nice.
<v Speaker 1>There's another another one.
<v Speaker 2>Nice.
<v Speaker 1>Oh this was the holographic one. Nice. This is the
<v Speaker 1>space holographic one because of the Mario.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, whoa sick?
<v Speaker 1>Wait pass that down, honestly. Yeah, you can take a
<v Speaker 1>look at that. And then over here you'll let me
<v Speaker 1>see show me, show me. You'll punch this out. You
<v Speaker 1>can keep this one, and I'm going to do it
<v Speaker 1>very carefully. Well, no, you're the Pokemon guy, I'm the
<v Speaker 1>Mario gun. And then you're okay. I got a little
<v Speaker 1>bit of a tear there. This is laminated. You can
<v Speaker 1>sign it, you can put it in your wallet, and
<v Speaker 1>then if you ever see one of us, like a
<v Speaker 1>too many games, you can show us the club card.
<v Speaker 2>And night will give you a kiss.
<v Speaker 1>Right, I don't know what we'll have merchant too many
<v Speaker 1>games and anyway, fifty discount I'm just making that up
<v Speaker 1>right now.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>I'll give you a fifty percent discount if you show
<v Speaker 1>me your member card.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that would be sick.
<v Speaker 1>We've also the thing that comes with it is I'm
<v Speaker 1>not showing the address that might Yeah, this is the
<v Speaker 1>old the way that it looked exactly and we just
<v Speaker 1>changed the information to be nontendo related.
<v Speaker 2>Nice. This is awesome. Yeah, I really want to do this.
<v Speaker 1>I want to give a shout out to Anne in
<v Speaker 1>the merch department and Sully. But Anne puts so much
<v Speaker 1>of this stick Yeah she does it. Also, Fast did
<v Speaker 1>a great job.
<v Speaker 2>All right.
<v Speaker 1>So last thing I'm gonna show you here is just
<v Speaker 1>the tiers. When you come over to the Patreon. Got
<v Speaker 1>the five dollar tier that you'll get all the bonus episodes,
<v Speaker 1>the ten dollar tick get the bonus episodes behind the scenes.

<v Speaker 1>all merchant early access and that does count these You
<v Speaker 1>will get a forty eight hour early access to the
<v Speaker 1>hot sources before anybody else to order them and to
<v Speaker 1>buy them with a ten percent discount. And then the
<v Speaker 1>twin dollar tier gets you all of that, the name
<v Speaker 1>and the credits and the VIP rewards like that, and
<v Speaker 1>the stickers. Yepp, I mean, show me a better Patreon
<v Speaker 1>Better has a lot of brooks. Although I will say
<v Speaker 1>now that we're in the groove, thank you so much.
<v Speaker 1>Pretty and by the way, I am stressing Patreon. This
<v Speaker 1>also counts for VIP members on YouTube on YouTube, Yes,
<v Speaker 1>so members, whether you're a five dollars member here on YouTube,

<v Speaker 2>dollars VIP to you? We got you? I get you
<v Speaker 2>out of.
<v Speaker 1>That side quest guys, Oh man, what a fun time
<v Speaker 1>we're having, What a great time.
<v Speaker 2>What time are we at?
<v Speaker 1>Sixty eight minutes? So that's an hour and eight minutes
<v Speaker 1>we still have to do this. Why did red say
<v Speaker 1>sixty eight minutes one? Not an hour and eight minutes?
<v Speaker 2>Sixty eight? I liked sixty eight, I can wait one more.
<v Speaker 1>If you're sixty seven, it would I was gonna say, wait,
<v Speaker 1>what was it a minute ago?
<v Speaker 2>And now we're in seven minutes? This guy knew my game.
<v Speaker 1>This guy all right, So we did kind of already
<v Speaker 1>reference this, but we should at least show it the
<v Speaker 1>Splatoon Raiders dress, which also we can show it, but
<v Speaker 1>we should reference this as well, because this is more
<v Speaker 1>hinting towards Nate the Hate stuff.
<v Speaker 2>I'm pretty sure. Well, I mean, we got like, how
<v Speaker 2>many more days left? We got seven days, and if
<v Speaker 2>Star Fox isn't released, than Nate the Hates wrong. Well
<v Speaker 2>did he was? He said summer? But announced?
<v Speaker 1>Did he say he woul get announced in I'm almost
<v Speaker 1>positive if he gave like a harsh like I think
<v Speaker 1>looking at the whatever, except what fire emblem the summer,
<v Speaker 1>I'm still waiting to hear for that. He said they
<v Speaker 1>were coming in summer and they would get announced on
<v Speaker 1>Twitter or the app. I don't think he said by
<v Speaker 1>the end of eight.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, let me let me check, because.
<v Speaker 1>Something he did say is that Nintendo would be dropping
<v Speaker 1>things on Twitter in the end app and one of
<v Speaker 1>them was going to be Splatoon radios woke up to
<v Speaker 1>see that, and then the release date is uh, which
<v Speaker 1>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Is that summer? Yes?
<v Speaker 1>Yes, I remember, so no, I was kidding new Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Side story, I remember when Splatoon three was announced to
<v Speaker 1>be a summer release and it came out in September.
<v Speaker 1>I went on a whole rant saying that September isn't summer,
<v Speaker 1>but it technically kind of is. If I'm thinking, well,
<v Speaker 1>I'm thinking quarterly, right, because if you're doing summer ends
<v Speaker 1>in August, That's what I said, when does summer officially end?
<v Speaker 1>I'm thinking like September because you have October, November, December
<v Speaker 1>is absolutely winter. September is full.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah yeah wait what was my Well, when you where
<v Speaker 2>you come from, you guys are enjoying wonder time right now, yes,
<v Speaker 2>untill backwards.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's pretty bad. That is kind I went to
<v Speaker 1>the today. Yeah I say that, I went we got
<v Speaker 1>up really early, got up at what really early, got
<v Speaker 1>up at seven, but we went straight to this is
<v Speaker 1>really early. That it is early because I wanted to
<v Speaker 1>make a YouTuber schedule too. Yeah, well it's a little different.
<v Speaker 2>We have a kid.
<v Speaker 1>It's little man's birthday this week, yes, and today was
<v Speaker 1>the nicest day of the week. Yeah, and we looked
<v Speaker 1>at the forecast and it's going to be raining on
<v Speaker 1>the weekend.
<v Speaker 2>So we took him.
<v Speaker 1>Today for his birthday and he loved it. And he
<v Speaker 1>petted some goats and I wanted to take pictures of
<v Speaker 1>the kangaroos.
<v Speaker 2>But they weren't there.
<v Speaker 1>But they went there and I get to show him kangaroos.
<v Speaker 1>Now the outback was closed. It said, yeah, this means
<v Speaker 1>I have to go to the zoo.
<v Speaker 3>Now what.
<v Speaker 2>You got.
<v Speaker 1>Off the mess it's because you're looking right at me
<v Speaker 1>when you say it to you. I have nowhere else
<v Speaker 1>to look. Okay, I wish I could show you pictures
<v Speaker 1>because he was, oh, cut to me for a second.
<v Speaker 1>Something happened today. I got to tell you. Tell us
<v Speaker 1>we so we get that. I was very hungry, so
<v Speaker 1>we went straight to get food and I was standing.
<v Speaker 1>We were the first people in this place. They didn't
<v Speaker 1>even know if they were open yet, and they were like,
<v Speaker 1>we'll make you a sandwich or ordered to chick the sandwich.
<v Speaker 1>And then he's in his pram, Stinky Joe's in his
<v Speaker 1>stroller and he's looking up at me while I'm ordering
<v Speaker 1>and I'm ordering and I'm looking down. He just keeps
<v Speaker 1>staring at me, and then all of a sudden, I
<v Speaker 1>look at him and he goes.
<v Speaker 2>Dad, dad, No, his first time?
<v Speaker 1>What? And literally I was like stun locked because I
<v Speaker 1>was still talking to the guy and I was like
<v Speaker 1>I looked at him and I was like, I grabbed
<v Speaker 1>my heart and I was like, I'm sorry.
<v Speaker 2>That's the first time he said that.
<v Speaker 1>And then the guy was like congratulations, and I was
<v Speaker 1>like thanks, and I like held it together, and then
<v Speaker 1>as soon as I was done, I willed him outside.
<v Speaker 2>I just started crying.
<v Speaker 1>Wait, he never he didn't say mama before.
<v Speaker 2>He said so.
<v Speaker 1>Kim and I have back and forth conversations on this
<v Speaker 1>because he is about to be a year and he's
<v Speaker 1>supposed to have started kind of bat I'm not supposed to.
<v Speaker 1>Every kid is different, but they do say by a year,
<v Speaker 1>he's supposed to be babbling and like saying some things,
<v Speaker 1>and he's been a little like behind on that. I think, yeah, so,
<v Speaker 1>like he's been saying like Mama, Dad, damn, Mama, ma, mama,
<v Speaker 1>but he kind of just like babbles it and says
<v Speaker 1>it randomly. But he's never like looked at one of
<v Speaker 1>us and then like out of that, but pretty clear
<v Speaker 1>as well. I've been saying to Kim over the last
<v Speaker 1>because we keep having like he does say it, he
<v Speaker 1>doesn't say it, and I'm like, I've never really I
<v Speaker 1>told him like he's never looked at me and gone
<v Speaker 1>that yeah, and then he did that core.
<v Speaker 2>Memory on the bar.
<v Speaker 1>I was like, odds, anyway, thank you, thank you for
<v Speaker 1>letting me.
<v Speaker 2>Very special. I can't wait for my kid to do that.
<v Speaker 2>Your announcement on that we don't know the gender that.
<v Speaker 1>This whole time, I have been not mentioning yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>appreciate it because I didn't know whether or I never
<v Speaker 1>actually And then here's the thing. This whole time, I've
<v Speaker 1>been not mentioning it and then not asking you if
<v Speaker 1>I'm allowed to, but I assumed no.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but I just made a video announcing it last week.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't see on my YouTube channel. You got to
<v Speaker 2>send that to me, so tell everybody.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so I'm having a kid, your boy, let's go.
<v Speaker 2>And you did you do know if it's a boy
<v Speaker 2>or ago? I do know the gender you're not saying,
<v Speaker 2>but I'm not going to say yeah, I'm after Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I got.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, I already told you did you?
<v Speaker 2>Did you? Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Last week? Wait, I don't think you did tell me
<v Speaker 1>told if you did? Unless I told it was Caleb.
<v Speaker 1>Oh well he ain't here that I really have to know.
<v Speaker 2>I got you.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, Well, congratulations have you said? When the do date
<v Speaker 1>is June twenty fourth? Oh that's July twenty three. I
<v Speaker 1>was gonna say, like, yeah about the congratulations summer son,
<v Speaker 1>that's it's also it's gonna so One thing that Kim
<v Speaker 1>and I always said is thank god that she wasn't
<v Speaker 1>pregnant in summer, like she wasn't like full, because that's
<v Speaker 1>like a tough time to be pregnant. At least your
<v Speaker 1>you said June June. At least you're getting it out
<v Speaker 1>the way before August. For August that'll be trust me,
<v Speaker 1>that'll be nice for her.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. But also I'm very grateful my wife wasn't pregnant
<v Speaker 2>like needy pregnant during the winter time because that, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it was just brutally atrocious.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I mean it's all bad, but trust me, those
<v Speaker 1>those last month or so when she's like fully swollen up,
<v Speaker 1>thank you so much, like big ass kinkles and everything,
<v Speaker 1>because like that water retention is crazy. And then you
<v Speaker 1>have all that extra weight and it's one hundred degrees.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's misering.
<v Speaker 1>He's already miserable now thirty one weeks yeah wow, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>so she's missing all of that.
<v Speaker 2>So perfect.
<v Speaker 1>And then you have summer baby, so every every birthday
<v Speaker 1>is going to be in summer.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. A few weeks from my wife's birthday, few weeks
<v Speaker 2>from my birthday. Beautiful. I'm so happy for you. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I appreciate it. How long you annequin? I was waiting
<v Speaker 2>for that.
<v Speaker 1>I had to do what Okay, yeah, no baby for
<v Speaker 1>me right now. I'm chilling you love the baby still,
<v Speaker 1>I am still bro.
<v Speaker 2>I'm getting you a little baby mannequin for your birthday
<v Speaker 2>next week.
<v Speaker 1>That's yeah. Oh yeah, my birthdays next week, that's right.
<v Speaker 1>Two weeks Bret, and you got a couple of teenages.
<v Speaker 1>How long to your next one?
<v Speaker 2>The oven cooking? Huh? Way? Cut to you?
<v Speaker 1>I see you back there, I see you back that, Pat.
<v Speaker 1>What are we doing with babies over there? When is
<v Speaker 1>your baby on the way?
<v Speaker 2>I thought he was.
<v Speaker 1>I thought he was homes simpsuring out of the frame
<v Speaker 1>I did every day.
<v Speaker 2>Huh what what? What? What? You say every day. That
<v Speaker 2>mean I didn't hear any way, repeat.
<v Speaker 5>What he said.
<v Speaker 2>I kidd he's going back on back on.
<v Speaker 1>All right, right, Splatoon's coming out, you know, I am
<v Speaker 1>excited for that. I think it looks interesting. It's a
<v Speaker 1>three player call up Aventure single player up to you
<v Speaker 1>can bring up to three players, so four overall, okay,
<v Speaker 1>fo all, And it's a it's a survival looting type
<v Speaker 1>that's but I think the gameplay we just saw, if
<v Speaker 1>you want to pull the trailer just real quick, like,
<v Speaker 1>is there a new trailer? Yeah, yeah, I didn't see it. No,
<v Speaker 1>we're watching it, so what do you I think it's
<v Speaker 1>between campaigns like this. I like them, like I know
<v Speaker 1>a lot of people like that more than the actually player.
<v Speaker 1>I'm that guy I talked about this. I like Salmon
<v Speaker 1>Run a lot. I liked the roguelike Tala a lot,
<v Speaker 1>and then I liked the just the single player campaign,
<v Speaker 1>and I wasn't really that into the online. It's so sweaty.
<v Speaker 1>It is because if you don't, if you don't play
<v Speaker 1>day one, you're you're already behind. Yes, I think, so, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>check it out. Okay, So sorry, audio listeners, we are
<v Speaker 1>watching a three. There is a ocean with a with
<v Speaker 1>a it's like a raft, yes, and we see a
<v Speaker 1>positive quick polish real quick. So do you see on
<v Speaker 1>that menu? How do you want to look and sound speak?
<v Speaker 1>This means that your inkling can probably talk in this
<v Speaker 1>game too. That's never you're sure it's not just like
<v Speaker 1>the tone of your Well, that's more than what we've
<v Speaker 1>had for single player, because it's always the single player
<v Speaker 1>has always been quiet. Oh so this is at least
<v Speaker 1>so you don't think it's like words. It's still like
<v Speaker 1>could could be yeah, it could be a gibberish words,
<v Speaker 1>but this is more than what the single player has been. Also,
<v Speaker 1>the hairstyle is pretty cool, but then Friday just cuts it.
<v Speaker 1>And if you look at the hairstyle, each one has
<v Speaker 1>like different like looks like Zelda. Yeah yeah, but look
<v Speaker 1>how like there's like different almost troud that is that
<v Speaker 1>is Yeah. The component cables red white, yellow component that's
<v Speaker 1>the one.
<v Speaker 2>That's what we had to do for N sixty four
<v Speaker 2>game cube. Sick.
<v Speaker 1>You know if you don't know what that's we had that,
<v Speaker 1>come on, I'm not that you do you so you
<v Speaker 1>know what? I don't know if you had these hits.
<v Speaker 1>Did you ever have like the s cots, like the
<v Speaker 1>Scott like they were like it was like a really big, chunky,
<v Speaker 1>wide pin adapt for TVs and like my any s
<v Speaker 1>had one.
<v Speaker 2>I'm pretty sure. Yeah, I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>It was like it was supposed to be better quality
<v Speaker 1>than the than the cables. Okay, oh not red white, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>red wine, you know. Interesting, that's what I remember. I
<v Speaker 1>also remember the RF connect for the n E shmember
<v Speaker 1>that one.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I never had an E S.
<v Speaker 1>Did you have any console back in the day that
<v Speaker 1>had the r F which was just that was the
<v Speaker 1>hole with the pin.
<v Speaker 2>And you just you just kind of pop her in
<v Speaker 2>the back and he knows it. Then four had it? Right?
<v Speaker 1>I think it probably had one Yeteah maybe probably sounds familiar.
<v Speaker 1>It might have had that. Maybe maybe not. Actually yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I don't know, I don't know, but that that but
<v Speaker 1>that does sound familiar.
<v Speaker 2>Let me let me so.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, there's differently kind of don't have to google it.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I'm just there's one.
<v Speaker 1>Like that had like a what's it called, like a
<v Speaker 1>clothes hangar like in their hair at one point.
<v Speaker 2>Oh yeah, we definitely had one of these.
<v Speaker 1>And I love how I just said straight off about
<v Speaker 1>single players spatween the focused game or yeah, I might
<v Speaker 1>have skipped it.
<v Speaker 2>They're good. There's like a robot.
<v Speaker 1>Look very Breath of the Wild Days of the Kingdom.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it reminded me of DK Bonanza.
<v Speaker 1>There's weird looking salmonids now too, which I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if I put it in the group chap, but sorry
<v Speaker 1>I should full screen here are good? Uh those salmon diva, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>the salmon were actually in Splatoon three of these ones
<v Speaker 1>as like stickers, the designs are very similar.
<v Speaker 2>And yeah, there's the map.
<v Speaker 1>They said there's like a dungeon list, so it looks
<v Speaker 1>like it's kind of like you go to different areas
<v Speaker 1>of this map.
<v Speaker 2>You ca that's cool?
<v Speaker 1>Whoa that was It's very Breath of the Wild. Ye. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>finally open worlds Platoony, Yeah, it really it is. It's
<v Speaker 1>it's Breath of the Wild Splatoon. All this for fifty
<v Speaker 1>but I'd say maybe like Moonlighter too, almost with the
<v Speaker 1>treasure collecting, he's gonna be I think you sell it
<v Speaker 1>because you can upgrade it STUF too, because that's not
<v Speaker 1>really that's just kind of upgrading with scrap. But that
<v Speaker 1>is cool.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, I liked it was that an axe? Yeah, oh sick.
<v Speaker 1>So you can also upgrade. You can build like little
<v Speaker 1>uh whoa like the AoE. Okay, there's so much happening here.
<v Speaker 1>There's fish fishing. I'm in, what do you fish already?
<v Speaker 1>You can build like a little century that can help
<v Speaker 1>you out. I guess these are all upgradeable too, because
<v Speaker 1>it looks like you can kind of this funny. Oh
<v Speaker 1>that is funny. I'm not entirely sure what the gameplay
<v Speaker 1>loop is. I'm just saying, oh, yeah, that's why people
<v Speaker 1>are still a little confused about it. Yeah, I'm saying
<v Speaker 1>a lot of like combat crafting, but and then and
<v Speaker 1>then like a map, but I'm not really sure what.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you can ride big Man, which is pretty funny.
<v Speaker 2>Animation looks great.
<v Speaker 1>You can use some ultimates, you can use the Big
<v Speaker 1>Shark from Splatoon three, and.
<v Speaker 2>All that is.
<v Speaker 1>I'm definitely interested. I've been interested in the whole time
<v Speaker 1>because I do like Splatoon and it's and it's gameplay,
<v Speaker 1>but I've always enjoyed the side spinoff. So this is
<v Speaker 1>like a whole game for that. Yeah, and that's good.
<v Speaker 1>And the price fifty dollars fifty bucks will sixty sixty
<v Speaker 1>just a campaign, bro, it's on a full cut, right
<v Speaker 1>it is. I think they said it's twenty gigabytes. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>maybe twenty Yeah, well that CAU is not twenty that
<v Speaker 1>What did I say? That said it's going to be
<v Speaker 1>a three A single player, a single player, and you
<v Speaker 1>can do online and local multiplayer.
<v Speaker 2>You can have up to three other people joined with you. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it's full. It's full. Everybody would be playing through.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, the estimated game file size for Splatoon Raders
<v Speaker 1>is about twenty gigabytes.
<v Speaker 2>Bro, you really use bing as your search engine? Oh
<v Speaker 2>that's the I popped up. I'll have Chrome on this
<v Speaker 2>for some reason. Just go to Google. I'll go to
<v Speaker 2>Google right now. I'm going to Google. You go, there
<v Speaker 2>you go. I don't know why that would be so.
<v Speaker 1>Much Like he's twenty three, bro, let's see game side fin,
<v Speaker 1>I'm using Google. This tough comment, by the way, is
<v Speaker 1>why I think this whole thing is confusing.
<v Speaker 2>Why searching ten bucks more for a plastic case in
<v Speaker 2>twenty twenty six when everyone downloads Anyways.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's what I said, But this guy is like
<v Speaker 1>missing the point of like, yeah, the digital is cheap
<v Speaker 1>and that that's why it's so confusing, and so people
<v Speaker 1>are just seeing like one's more expensive.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, if I saw fifty dollars for digital, I'd
<v Speaker 2>be like, Okay, that's abnormal. I'm not used to paying
<v Speaker 2>fifty like for a I don't have.
<v Speaker 1>This guy's crawling, but I feel like this is a
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo game contender for worst box stot ever. So the
<v Speaker 1>one thing that's throwing out is like them signed to
<v Speaker 1>main character, but everyone else looks great.
<v Speaker 2>I thought it was fine. I like it. What's wrong
<v Speaker 2>with it? Yeah? There we go.
<v Speaker 1>There we go from Google itself Sultana Raiders, but in
<v Speaker 1>tennant switch too as an estimated file size of twenty gigabytes. Wow,
<v Speaker 1>this size applies to the digital version of Ailbleman Antenna
<v Speaker 1>we Shop. That's interesting because I don't remember what I
<v Speaker 1>said the card was. I thought I said it was
<v Speaker 1>fifteen sixteen, eighteen gigs. What did I say? Yeah, scene
<v Speaker 1>are the new one that just came out. So if
<v Speaker 1>this is twenty then it must just be using the
<v Speaker 1>full sixty four gig cut.
<v Speaker 2>Possibly.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, all right, that's larger than Donkey Kong. That's interesting.
<v Speaker 1>Let's let's move on quick. We got so much to
<v Speaker 1>do here, but I'm excited for that. I'm looking forward
<v Speaker 1>to that. I'm happy, you're happy. I'm very happy to
<v Speaker 1>play together. We should we should, we could stream together.
<v Speaker 2>I'm down. I'd love to see that. You're in too,
<v Speaker 2>You're gonna play with this. I'll watchpect I'll watch. Oh, watch, Okay,
<v Speaker 2>I'll chew you guys. What time are we at?
<v Speaker 1>I'm only asking because I know we got so much
<v Speaker 1>hot source to get through.
<v Speaker 2>Eighty two minutes, so that's like an hour and twenty
<v Speaker 2>houry you go?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, So here's everything I have in my doc that
<v Speaker 1>I would love to talk about today. Well, I think
<v Speaker 1>I found a I can't remember what it is, but
<v Speaker 1>I think I found a possible hint at Mario coming
<v Speaker 1>this year. Still see, Yeah, let's see it that that
<v Speaker 1>I haven't said anyone to talk about. So we have that.
<v Speaker 1>We have the Mario movie leaks. We have gamers have
<v Speaker 1>stude Nintendo. Yeah, the Zelda movie leaks. What did I say, Mario?
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, I met Zelda. Sorry about that. We have
<v Speaker 1>me and Moto's comments on Mario. We have previews of
<v Speaker 1>the new Yoshi game. We have a judge speaking out
<v Speaker 1>on the Pokemon Go Headphone drama. Yeah, and yeah that's
<v Speaker 1>the main ones. So do we want to try and
<v Speaker 1>blast through all?
<v Speaker 2>Let's do it? Yeahs we can. We can go.
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna try. I know we're in like we're getting
<v Speaker 1>deep here, but this is fun. I'm having a good
<v Speaker 1>time today too, so.
<v Speaker 2>So okay, let me, let me.
<v Speaker 1>I was googling news of Nintendo news yesterday to try
<v Speaker 1>and find stuff with the doc and I saw this
<v Speaker 1>one the Plumber worth sixty billion dollars how Super Mario
<v Speaker 1>became a global empire beyond video games, and I found
<v Speaker 1>this interesting. I clicked on this because we recently talked
<v Speaker 1>about is Mario bigger than Mickey Mouse?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>Disney, So I was like, was there anything interesting in
<v Speaker 1>here about how he became worth sixty million billion dollars?
<v Speaker 1>That was kind of ended up being besides the point
<v Speaker 1>because apparently someone that works at Nintendo of Israel.
<v Speaker 2>Was that's a thing.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, well there's Nintendo of everywhere. Oh okay, yeah, so
<v Speaker 1>someone that works in the marketing, Oh my god, look
<v Speaker 1>what are these pictures?
<v Speaker 2>Oh I don't know is I ain't never heard of
<v Speaker 2>a Nintendo of Egypt. I mean, oh, there read More.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's what I was Thank you so much, That's
<v Speaker 1>what I was looking say, what are we getting through?
<v Speaker 1>So apparently this article is talking to someone from Nintendo
<v Speaker 1>of Israel. And then I was reading this and down
<v Speaker 1>here it says, what is the next for Mario? Is
<v Speaker 1>there something in the works? Sometime this year? A major
<v Speaker 1>Mario game is probably expected to launch. I can't say
<v Speaker 1>when or which one. Oh, somebody just this someone Nintendo
<v Speaker 1>of Israel that said that. Okay, let me double check
<v Speaker 1>who it actually is before I get got here, because
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know where I am.
<v Speaker 2>This is Google?
<v Speaker 1>What website is this? Israel News?
<v Speaker 2>Why not Global? Why that Global? I don't know where
<v Speaker 2>that is? Yeah? Are they?
<v Speaker 1>Are they liars? I don't know what's happening. This exposed
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo like that. I've never seen this before. So yeah,
<v Speaker 1>if it's true, then it's little must this year? Then
<v Speaker 1>go okay, go ahead? Uh Matan Talmore, marketing manager at
<v Speaker 1>Tulip Entertainment, the Israel distributor for Universal Studios. So not
<v Speaker 1>from Nintendo. Okay, I think I might have got that wrong.
<v Speaker 1>Talma Okay, So he's the marketing distributor for Universal Studios. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>and he's obviously working with Nintendo on the Mario movie,
<v Speaker 1>and I guess like hearing like their plans and everything,
<v Speaker 1>and he said that he so he was the one
<v Speaker 1>the marketing manager for Universal Studio said sometime this year,
<v Speaker 1>a major Mario game is probably expect did to launch.
<v Speaker 1>I can't say one on which one. I just saw
<v Speaker 1>that line and then I was googling, like Mario game
<v Speaker 1>news and nothing came up. Yeah, so I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if this means anything. I just find it interesting that
<v Speaker 1>someone that worked on the Mario movie is saying that
<v Speaker 1>a Mario game is expected to launch this year. He
<v Speaker 1>just can't say one on which one. And no one's
<v Speaker 1>talking about when was this released yesterday? Oh so it's
<v Speaker 1>still fresh.
<v Speaker 2>It's fresh, no one's talking about it.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, even if this is like a whatever, I
<v Speaker 1>feel like this is the exact kind of thing that
<v Speaker 1>articles take and they're like Universal Studios marketing lead says
<v Speaker 1>Mario movie. I just I'm surprised that no one caught
<v Speaker 1>onto that. I see and I just accidentally found it
<v Speaker 1>when I was looking for news about Mario, so it
<v Speaker 1>could be nothing.
<v Speaker 2>I just thought it was interesting.
<v Speaker 1>That'd be interesting too, because I would go against what
<v Speaker 1>Nate said the thing right, Yes, it would be a
<v Speaker 1>Mario released this year, not next year anyway.
<v Speaker 2>So there's that.
<v Speaker 1>You can cut away while I bring up more things
<v Speaker 1>to talk about here Zelda movie leaks, we can show
<v Speaker 1>that quickly. Sure, the picture of the So we officially
<v Speaker 1>have a new leak and title of the new Maria movie,
<v Speaker 1>The Legend of Zelda Stunt Department. Yeah, so I'm pretty
<v Speaker 1>excited for the legends out a stunt department department. I'm
<v Speaker 1>not really sure how that comes in if like Gandendorf
<v Speaker 1>puts a stunt in links hot. Oh yeah what department though,
<v Speaker 1>well yeah what department like close groceries? It could be anywhere. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>in the damage control that's everything. Yeah, this is uh,
<v Speaker 1>I guess from like one of the jackets. Probably yeah,
<v Speaker 1>because I have a friend who works in film in
<v Speaker 1>Canada and he says like they usually give out like
<v Speaker 1>gifts and stuff like that. Definitely. By the way, if
<v Speaker 1>you work at the Zeldas stunt department and you have
<v Speaker 1>one of these, hit me up, hit I would love that.
<v Speaker 1>But then this was the also the leak here. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I didn't know if this is real or not. So
<v Speaker 1>the pick was posted on Instagram by Zelda the Zelder
<v Speaker 1>Movies cinematographer. So I can't imagine this is fake. There's
<v Speaker 1>no reason for him to post. We already know it's
<v Speaker 1>in development. They probably are like, oh, it's all a hide,
<v Speaker 1>but I mean they just wrapped up filming.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Link wearing the Skywards sword fit with a cape.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't think about him with a cape before. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's because you you might be kind of
<v Speaker 1>like it's kind of like a mixedmash because he wears
<v Speaker 1>a cape and Breadth of the Water aloak a cloak. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>with a cape, So I think you'll like you're used
<v Speaker 1>to seeing him in a cape, and then you realize,
<v Speaker 1>oh wait, this is like Twilight Princess kind of Link
<v Speaker 1>with a cape, which is cool. I mean I think
<v Speaker 1>he just looked. I think that was just going for
<v Speaker 1>let's make Link look cool. And I think he looks
<v Speaker 1>sick with a cape, and he's worn a cape before.
<v Speaker 1>So we're just gonna mesh him together.
<v Speaker 2>You know, because he can't be a superhero without a cape.
<v Speaker 2>That's true.
<v Speaker 1>That is, I don't think this really, I don't you know,
<v Speaker 1>I could go I could start theorizing like, does this
<v Speaker 1>mean it's a mishmash of stories? Is it like an
<v Speaker 1>Ocarina story now, because he kind of looks like an
<v Speaker 1>adult Twilight princess, but there's cape, so is that a
<v Speaker 1>whole new thing? It could honestly be an Okarina story.
<v Speaker 1>He just looks like this. You know, it could be anything.
<v Speaker 1>So I think there's not enough to speculate on it.
<v Speaker 5>There was.
<v Speaker 1>I just think because of Zelda and her Breath of
<v Speaker 1>the Wild outfit really from film, from filming, I did
<v Speaker 1>see that. I'm not sure if I can find I
<v Speaker 1>don't have the link in my doc. Someone commented it,
<v Speaker 1>but there's a there's actually a full art version. Wow
<v Speaker 1>that guy switch. Oh my god, my god. It's like
<v Speaker 1>there's a full key art version of this somewhere. It's
<v Speaker 1>unfortunately not in the comments here, but an act and
<v Speaker 1>I don't know where that came from. But yeah, anyway,
<v Speaker 1>I think he looks awesome. He doesn't look like the
<v Speaker 1>actor that I saw, so yeah, I'm not sure what
<v Speaker 1>this is actually if it could just be random art
<v Speaker 1>that they designed for the movie. Yeah, I actually don't
<v Speaker 1>think this is the actor because it.
<v Speaker 2>Doesn't look like him. Unless they way different. Yeah, lets
<v Speaker 2>they do a.
<v Speaker 1>Full surprise and say, oh, surprise, we have an adult
<v Speaker 1>link that we just didn't announce. If it's a para
<v Speaker 1>time based actor, yeah, look at it, it's so soft
<v Speaker 1>in the face. Well what if okay, now let's theorize
<v Speaker 1>one thing. Okay, what if this isn't all Karina story
<v Speaker 1>and this is kid link and that was adult That's
<v Speaker 1>what I'm saying. Yeah, I mean link between worlds. It
<v Speaker 1>kind of has to be. Maybe that is, and then
<v Speaker 1>this is like a thing to you know, for Akron
<v Speaker 1>of Time coming out on switch to who not. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I'm just saying that that guy, that kid ain't what
<v Speaker 1>we saw in that other thing. That's why I thought
<v Speaker 1>it was Speaker, is like, because it doesn't look anything
<v Speaker 1>like that.
<v Speaker 2>It could be kidd. That's a man. That is a
<v Speaker 2>man that is unless a really good makeup on the kid. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>If this yeah, so okay, if this is real and
<v Speaker 1>this looks like someone in the movie, we have kid
<v Speaker 1>link in adult Link confess time, it has to be Oh,
<v Speaker 1>this is just fun kiya And that's why they leaked
<v Speaker 1>it because it looks nothing like the movie. Yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know. I don't know, but there it is. It
<v Speaker 1>looks good. What did what did the post say in
<v Speaker 1>the end? Dex Oh yes, I have on so on
<v Speaker 1>almost four hundred votes. Do you think it's what she
<v Speaker 1>will get a price increase? Seventy four percent say yes,
<v Speaker 1>whoa and twenty six percent say that huge. I think
<v Speaker 1>that's completely fair. Yeah, I do really think it could
<v Speaker 1>go either way. But I think that's fair to guess that.
<v Speaker 2>I guess.
<v Speaker 1>The question and sorry, to go back to it is,
<v Speaker 1>do do we think people should be worried and buy
<v Speaker 1>a switch to now before.
<v Speaker 2>It's too late? I would just to be on the safe.
<v Speaker 2>I will say that if you can afford.
<v Speaker 1>It, if you can afford it, yes, if you can
<v Speaker 1>afford it, if you can think about it anyway, if
<v Speaker 1>it's something you want to get it somewhere, if there's
<v Speaker 1>a switch to exclusive game that you absolutely need, then then.
<v Speaker 2>You may as well get it now.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, I know again, I know my friend Jerry,
<v Speaker 1>or Bob's friend Jerry, who has also become my friend Jerry,
<v Speaker 1>because we hung out a lot, we were talking.
<v Speaker 2>Now we're friends.
<v Speaker 1>It doesn't matter, of course, I just said Bob's friend
<v Speaker 1>and I was like well, it's my friends. He did
<v Speaker 1>put it on some kind of like no interest layaway plan.
<v Speaker 1>He said it was like seventeen dollars a month or
<v Speaker 1>a week or something. Oh wow, So like, I mean,
<v Speaker 1>if you can do something like that, maybe, yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>think there's no harm. If it's not, there's me a budget,
<v Speaker 1>you can afford it.
<v Speaker 2>Go for it. It's not going to hurt anything.
<v Speaker 1>It's definitely like a like, you don't need it right now,
<v Speaker 1>but once there are if you do, if you are,
<v Speaker 1>if you're thinking to yourself, I am going to get
<v Speaker 1>this thing. I'm just waiting for animal crossing. You may
<v Speaker 1>as well get it now because there is a good
<v Speaker 1>chance it'll be more expensive when you want to buy it.
<v Speaker 1>So that would be my advice. And the only reason
<v Speaker 1>why we're doing that caveat is I would hate for
<v Speaker 1>you to go and buy it.
<v Speaker 2>The price never goes up and for whatever reason, you.
<v Speaker 1>Really put yourself out right now and couldn't afford rent
<v Speaker 1>because we told you to buy it.
<v Speaker 2>So don't do that. Don't do that.
<v Speaker 1>It's not looking good. I think that's fair, right, I
<v Speaker 1>would agree with that. Okay, we go through that. Let's
<v Speaker 1>save the gamer sooth thing. Maybe we'll cover it next week.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe we won't. They were just sewing over tariffs. We'll
<v Speaker 1>see where that goes later on Miamoto, I think this
<v Speaker 1>is the only thing we need to touch on. Then
<v Speaker 1>we'll do the hot source. This just seems the most relevant.
<v Speaker 1>So me and Moto said a few things. There a
<v Speaker 1>couple of things, yes, yeah, Mode and begin with there's
<v Speaker 1>a nice one and then there's the fury one. The
<v Speaker 1>nice one is me and Motor wants Peach's backstory in
<v Speaker 1>the Super Mario Galaxy movie to affect future games.
<v Speaker 2>I like that.
<v Speaker 1>I like that to We talked about the Mario movie
<v Speaker 1>and our thoughts. The one thing I really liked about
<v Speaker 1>it was the one story element it had. We won't
<v Speaker 1>say what it is. We'll just say Peach is backstory.
<v Speaker 1>It's been almost origin I know, but this actually isn't
<v Speaker 1>saying it either, Okay, so we just won't ruin it
<v Speaker 1>for anybody. They do they do something for her backstory.
<v Speaker 1>That was the one thing I really liked about. The
<v Speaker 1>story gave some depth I think, I think, especially in
<v Speaker 1>the movie world, but in general, Mario kind of has
<v Speaker 1>a backstory. You kind of know, he's like a Plama
<v Speaker 1>from Peach was always like when she why is she
<v Speaker 1>a human.
<v Speaker 2>Princess?
<v Speaker 1>So I like it. So there's that. Can't talk about
<v Speaker 1>it too much more without getting in a spoiler territory.
<v Speaker 1>Then he goes on to say the reception of the
<v Speaker 1>movie was truly baffling, which, unfortunately, I think this does
<v Speaker 1>speak to Miyamoto just not being a story guy, because like,
<v Speaker 1>the main concerns were about the story, and I just
<v Speaker 1>don't Miyamoto gets gameplay, he gets what makes a fun game.
<v Speaker 1>He has never cared about story. I just don't think
<v Speaker 1>he sees it that way, you know how Like Kojima,
<v Speaker 1>he's kind of the best of both worlds, but he's
<v Speaker 1>very much a story guy, like everything for him his story.
<v Speaker 2>Miamoto is the opposite. But I feel like I feel
<v Speaker 2>like the Mario movie is literally a mirror of his games,
<v Speaker 2>because do Miyamoto's games happen that argument?
<v Speaker 1>I think it has way more story than a Mario game,
<v Speaker 1>of course, But to your point, yeah, but I think
<v Speaker 1>that's point what I'm saying with Miamoto just doesn't really
<v Speaker 1>like But I.
<v Speaker 2>Feel like this is so Miyamoto coded, and that's what
<v Speaker 2>makes it special. You know, it's just like he's it
<v Speaker 2>works over the year. I think that's a different conversation.
<v Speaker 2>I think, yes, and that's why people liked the movie.
<v Speaker 2>But the issue the critics had was there was no story,
<v Speaker 2>and I don't think that mea modo really understands story.
<v Speaker 2>So I think that blindside, I feel, I feel his frustration.
<v Speaker 2>I would be pissed to, you know meamodal call them
<v Speaker 2>out dog.
<v Speaker 1>He said, regarding the critics reviews of the first film,
<v Speaker 1>I remember thinking they have a point, but I figured
<v Speaker 1>this time would be different, only to find out they
<v Speaker 1>were even harsher than last time they were, which I
<v Speaker 1>found rather odd. And then it said we last we
<v Speaker 1>stepped in from another medium and did our best to
<v Speaker 1>help energize the film industry. And yet the very people
<v Speaker 1>who are supposed to champion the film industry are the
<v Speaker 1>ones being so negative.
<v Speaker 2>It's I'm not really sure what he means by that.
<v Speaker 1>Who were the people that are supposed to be championing
<v Speaker 1>the film industry critics, the critics, the critics, why are
<v Speaker 1>they supposed to be championing the.
<v Speaker 2>In because they should be embracing the fact that Nintendo
<v Speaker 2>is taking the sleep and entering into the movie industry.
<v Speaker 2>Why does that matter to critics? I mean, because they're
<v Speaker 2>they're the ones that essentially like make or break a game,
<v Speaker 2>like you know, critics like the reviewers who do reviews
<v Speaker 2>on games.
<v Speaker 1>There's a movie reviewers, and they're reviewing it as a movie,
<v Speaker 1>like they don't have like any like steak order or
<v Speaker 1>biases they might not have played.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but the Mario opinion, A lot of people will
<v Speaker 2>just read the the But they weren't lying. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>but yeah, they well so do you. I did.
<v Speaker 1>But Okay, it kind of seems like even what he's
<v Speaker 1>implying and what you're even implaying is they should have
<v Speaker 1>just lied and said it was really good.
<v Speaker 2>You know, you just gotta like, you gotta take off
<v Speaker 2>the lens that you're watching it with him, put on
<v Speaker 2>the Meamoto lens.
<v Speaker 5>You know.
<v Speaker 1>I guess you should have done that with Tommy Wyso
<v Speaker 1>in the room as well. Just put on the Tommy
<v Speaker 1>Wysoul lenses and understood what he was going.
<v Speaker 2>For, I guess.
<v Speaker 1>But you know they're beefing with me Amoto man, I
<v Speaker 1>mean they are now at this point. No, I I
<v Speaker 1>don't know, I've it did, I mean, it's funny to
<v Speaker 1>me because even leading up to the movie, we even
<v Speaker 1>joked about how Miamoto was like it's so fast paced.
<v Speaker 1>One thing happens after another and you can't even catch
<v Speaker 1>your breath, which, like to all of us was, hey, Miamoto,
<v Speaker 1>that kind of sounds like exactly what our problem was
<v Speaker 1>last time. First, and then it comes out and it's
<v Speaker 1>the same issue as last time, and he's like Michel,
<v Speaker 1>people would like it more, but like why.
<v Speaker 2>Like it's not adding more keys to.
<v Speaker 1>The you added more like fast paced, which was like
<v Speaker 1>the opposite of So I don't know what that's what
<v Speaker 1>I mean, Like, I just don't think he understands because.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like the critics that are reviewing this are
<v Speaker 2>probably like our age a little bit older, you know.
<v Speaker 1>I don't think it has anything to do to do
<v Speaker 1>with age. I think it's literally they were reviewing it
<v Speaker 1>as a movie. As a movie baseline tells a story,
<v Speaker 1>like that is what a movie does at its soul, right,
<v Speaker 1>it's Baseline as a story.
<v Speaker 2>So you didn't feel like it told the story. I
<v Speaker 2>feel like, no, I don't thought it was something. It was.
<v Speaker 2>It was rather fast paced, but if they had maybe
<v Speaker 2>extended it twenty thirty in it, I feel like they
<v Speaker 2>could have hit the nail on the car maybe, but
<v Speaker 2>they didn't. They didn't.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, this is this is relitigating a conversation.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, we really thought watch.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's I think it's abundantly clear that no,
<v Speaker 1>it didn't have a story, and whatever was there wasn't good.
<v Speaker 1>It's just whether or not you enjoyed what was there,
<v Speaker 1>which a lot of people did, like both of you, which.
<v Speaker 2>He just he just said he didn't.
<v Speaker 1>I think he's a little bit.
<v Speaker 2>Roll over the place.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah you're I think you're making I think he liked
<v Speaker 1>it for what it was, but he can also understand
<v Speaker 1>what the critics. But I said, my biggest thing was
<v Speaker 1>that I love the visuals. I love the music and
<v Speaker 1>the just the feeling of it, but the story was
<v Speaker 1>just not there. We kind of have the spectrum here.
<v Speaker 1>I hated it because the mid he's in the middle.
<v Speaker 1>You can see both sides, and then you just love it.
<v Speaker 1>It's good and that's fine. It's everybody that's an opinion.
<v Speaker 1>Mine's not right, Yours isn't right. It's what we liked
<v Speaker 1>it didn't mine's a bit more right. Of course, gusst
<v Speaker 1>fifty seven.
<v Speaker 2>Mister. Also, we never showed Bretons.
<v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, and he had seven percent narcissism, so he
<v Speaker 1>was the least.
<v Speaker 2>He was the least, but he was like ninety percent
<v Speaker 2>cycle path. Yeah, he was cycle. I didn't know that one.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not going to even bring it up. Yoshi reveals
<v Speaker 1>was revealed. It's very much a baby kid game. I've
<v Speaker 1>been saying that the whole time. But looks like the
<v Speaker 1>game you probably can't die. It looks like you remember
<v Speaker 1>what I said. I said, it looks like Peach showtime,
<v Speaker 1>but with Yoshi. Yeah, Kid's game.
<v Speaker 2>That's what it is. I will pass.
<v Speaker 1>I will pass as well, Sir. Maybe I'll let my
<v Speaker 1>kid play it.
<v Speaker 2>He can't do screens of course.
<v Speaker 1>All right, all right, this is going to be a
<v Speaker 1>very long episode.
<v Speaker 2>Doe, there we go. I'm ready to house this time.
<v Speaker 1>You can throw to my laptop because we have a
<v Speaker 1>non tender Hot Sauce ranking.
<v Speaker 2>I'm very excited too.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just going to type in the name of the
<v Speaker 1>Hot sources as we go so that we can keep track. Pat,
<v Speaker 1>thank you for waiting around for such a long time.
<v Speaker 1>We're not going to use sticks. We're using Well, how
<v Speaker 1>would the stick method?
<v Speaker 3>We we just lick it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but I tried that before with those and they
<v Speaker 2>don't work that well.
<v Speaker 1>There was a big there was a big debate in
<v Speaker 1>the office, mostly between me and Breenton. Actually yeah, about
<v Speaker 1>the device of which would to be used to receive
<v Speaker 1>the hot sauce. Because Brenton and you can show yourself
<v Speaker 1>and then give your if you have any thoughts on this.
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to go over to the pub next door
<v Speaker 1>and get a bunch of fries as I was saying
<v Speaker 1>that we're taxting these hot sources. We need to taste
<v Speaker 1>the sauce. We need a plain, neutral delivery system, whether
<v Speaker 1>it's raw dog in the sauce or putting it on
<v Speaker 1>a cracker or a chip.
<v Speaker 2>A cracker, I mean a chip makes sense.
<v Speaker 1>Really, I really want to do this right because when
<v Speaker 1>you do a fry, and I I googled this, the
<v Speaker 1>grease content in a fry affects the acidity of the
<v Speaker 1>hot sauce and it ruins the taste profile. So the
<v Speaker 1>example I gave was like, you don't test coffee beans
<v Speaker 1>by making a pumpkin spice latte, right, Yeah, we have
<v Speaker 1>So we have which Sally said, with the best tortilla
<v Speaker 1>Tortilla Tortilla went Super Australian for a second best tortilla
<v Speaker 1>chips you can get, according to Sally, then me me, Nina,
<v Speaker 1>how do you pronounce that?
<v Speaker 2>Nina? Menimia? What does that mean?
<v Speaker 1>Grandma? I know, I'm gonna guess my nana? Nana is
<v Speaker 1>it not?
<v Speaker 2>What's meaning? Nina is the Oh you were going with
<v Speaker 2>that bean?
<v Speaker 1>Right, here's what we're gonna Can you open this and
<v Speaker 1>he's like scissors or something. We're gonna test each of these.
<v Speaker 1>I guess I'll go first, then I'll hand it down
<v Speaker 1>the line, and then it needs to get out there
<v Speaker 1>to those boys too, and then we're all gonna rank
<v Speaker 1>it as far as like S T A T my daughter,
<v Speaker 1>that's cue an F tier. We're hopefully going to get
<v Speaker 1>at least three S tiers. Yes, if we end up
<v Speaker 1>with more than that, we're going to have to do
<v Speaker 1>a retest course of the top ones, and then whatever
<v Speaker 1>three we pick kier are going to officially be Nintendo
<v Speaker 1>Hot sources. And here's the next fun part. Once we
<v Speaker 1>pick them, they need names, and that's where you guys
<v Speaker 1>come in, because after we pick them, we're going to
<v Speaker 1>explain their flavor profiles kind of what we like about
<v Speaker 1>the hotness level, and we're going to give them a
<v Speaker 1>one to two and a three number and then chat
<v Speaker 1>live and also the comment section you can leave suggestions
<v Speaker 1>for names. I would love them to be Nintendo themed,
<v Speaker 1>Nontendo themed. They can be like a cut to me sauce.
<v Speaker 1>They can they can be a mannequin that sounds horrible.
<v Speaker 1>It can be a Nintendo themed. It can be gaming themed.
<v Speaker 1>It can be Mario's armpit, I don't care whatever, Like,
<v Speaker 1>be creative, be funny, leave your suggestions and then next
<v Speaker 1>week we're going to vote on the names. Yes, so
<v Speaker 1>you guys are going to pick the names, Thank you
<v Speaker 1>so much, And we're going to pick the sauces.
<v Speaker 2>You guys are going to pick the names. Yeah, I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna give you some suggestions for names too, you know.
<v Speaker 1>And I think Pat's gonna help us through this, so
<v Speaker 1>you don't have to sit on this. You can cut
<v Speaker 1>to that when when I place it. Until then, we
<v Speaker 1>have the sauces down here in front of us, and
<v Speaker 1>I'll Pat, I'll.
<v Speaker 2>Let you pick the sauces. In the Ramsey often testing
<v Speaker 2>hot sauce flavors with chicken wings. That makes sense. I
<v Speaker 2>mean chicken.
<v Speaker 1>So in the thing that I that I brought up,
<v Speaker 1>it was white chicken bread, uh, crackers or tortillas chip,
<v Speaker 1>So I guess wings make sense.
<v Speaker 2>Wings. It was too interesting.
<v Speaker 1>There's a place across the stop. I just booty by hers.
<v Speaker 1>She recommends that the hottest one should be called It's over.
<v Speaker 2>It's over.
<v Speaker 1>That's it's over, Nintendo's It's over sauce. I don't mind that, furi.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not realizing saying, oh my god, it's probably all melted.
<v Speaker 1>I ordered milk and ice cream at the start of
<v Speaker 1>the show.
<v Speaker 2>Oh man, it's outside. Okay, mm, the go ahead.
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna start off with the sweetened Salar's the hottest
<v Speaker 1>day ever, and there's probably been milk sat.
<v Speaker 2>Out on the Dutch down up, brother, dumb up. We're
<v Speaker 2>gonna start with the sweet and sound. I thought Wood
<v Speaker 2>was supposed to try it first.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, God, that looks you got to more like that
<v Speaker 1>looks disgusting.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you're gonna wish I did less later on. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I got this looks so nice.
<v Speaker 1>This one apparently is like a zero on the hot day. Like, no,
<v Speaker 1>all right, we all trying together. When you get in there,
<v Speaker 1>can you show it to the camera too, It smells
<v Speaker 1>like glue. Show it to Brenton's camera when you get
<v Speaker 1>in there. There, so there is glitter. There is a
<v Speaker 1>chunk in it. You can see the chunk. Yeah wait, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>all right, I'm going in there. What do you think
<v Speaker 1>sweet and sour? It is like it's sweets whatever. I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna need way more hot sauce on my chip next time, though,
<v Speaker 1>because that was like a.
<v Speaker 2>He's spitting it out, really.
<v Speaker 1>Bro, that was nasty. Well you put a lot on yours, right,
<v Speaker 1>it smell like gloom. I don't even think I say,
<v Speaker 1>can we get a trash can in here? So just
<v Speaker 1>in just in case.
<v Speaker 2>What's the it is? Oh man, you're justin I don't
<v Speaker 2>know what kind of concoction you was cooking up with
<v Speaker 2>that one, but that I like that one. That was
<v Speaker 2>a nice you have to bring And I forgot I
<v Speaker 2>got him an energy drink. He's just in there, falling asleep.
<v Speaker 2>He was Okay, Now I'm excited to try the other
<v Speaker 2>ones we got, you know.
<v Speaker 1>Thinking to go. So one of these sources is a
<v Speaker 1>reaper source. So that's why I have the ice cream.
<v Speaker 1>All right, So that one would just throws in an definitely, yeah, definitely.
<v Speaker 3>So what's that one called?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, okay, that was it was nice, but I don't
<v Speaker 1>think I would have like wings all you need to
<v Speaker 1>it up?
<v Speaker 2>Does that have alcohol in it? No? Alcohol? We got
<v Speaker 2>rid of those ones. There we go, good amount, there
<v Speaker 2>you go, all right, all right, up next, this is
<v Speaker 2>the siracha correct, all right, so this should not be
<v Speaker 2>that spicy either. All right, here we go. This is fun. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I've been wanting to do this. Give me, give me, Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I feel like you need to hand me the bottle
<v Speaker 2>because I need to squeeze.
<v Speaker 3>Out, squeeze it.
<v Speaker 2>I'm like, oh, it's like a hard glass. Oh no, no,
<v Speaker 2>I'm good. I'm good. Already have more. That one's good.
<v Speaker 2>That one has more heat than Yeah, it kicks and
<v Speaker 2>it tastes really good. Yeah, that's it. That's okay.
<v Speaker 1>That doesn't go. By the way, the scales out of
<v Speaker 1>ten and some of them go to like what's that
<v Speaker 1>that's the heart ending one is twenty seven out of ten.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Well, just so you guys know, I eat bulldog
<v Speaker 2>noodles pretty frequently, so like that one was pretty spicy.
<v Speaker 1>So that that didn't taste like sirocha that it did.
<v Speaker 1>It isn't just like, okay, the next stuff guys. Ready, wait,
<v Speaker 1>we've gotta we gotta rank that all rank one like
<v Speaker 1>that one. But I feel like it's if it's just
<v Speaker 1>so rocher, is that exciting? No? But I would I
<v Speaker 1>liked it? I mean if I already I think we
<v Speaker 1>need a starting base. We need like a not so
<v Speaker 1>spicy one. And that one wasn't so spicy. That one
<v Speaker 1>was like tasted good. It's not too spicy. I honestly
<v Speaker 1>I'm in like I'm in an a for that one. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>but the fact that it wasn't that spicy could be
<v Speaker 1>a good starting one.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, exactly. And it tastes good like you never. I
<v Speaker 2>just went and got sacha the other day, two bottles
<v Speaker 2>of it. Brenton, What did you think of the glitter bum? Yeah? Important.
<v Speaker 2>Any I'm gonna put sorocher in in my mouth, all right? Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>A is good? Okay, all right? What else? What's up next?
<v Speaker 2>I think we got the Casian Cay, oh Casian.
<v Speaker 1>Cay, and I don't By the way, this is a
<v Speaker 1>lot of fun and we're gonna have a lot of fun.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want to hear anyone in the comments like, well,
<v Speaker 1>I like the episode, but the hot soce pop maybe
<v Speaker 1>for a bad podcast. This is premium over an hour
<v Speaker 1>and a half of podcast.
<v Speaker 2>We're in fun. We're in fun time now we deserve it.
<v Speaker 1>That was one of the best part, Like actual podcasts
<v Speaker 1>we've done.
<v Speaker 2>You were in the flow.
<v Speaker 1>I could tell you I was trying to fix last week,
<v Speaker 1>you know, so I don't want to.
<v Speaker 2>I don't want to hear it. I like that.
<v Speaker 1>Do you like put the hot sauce on your tongue
<v Speaker 1>or do you do the chip with the hot sauce on?
<v Speaker 1>I just where the way it goes in Casian very
<v Speaker 1>lemon lemony. That's what I'm tasting. About the same heat
<v Speaker 1>as the sacha. Yeah, it's not it's not too I
<v Speaker 1>would say that is a beam. I don't I want
<v Speaker 1>to rank it as highs. I feel like the flavor
<v Speaker 1>was amazing.
<v Speaker 2>It was just like, what's what's that one called? Okay,
<v Speaker 2>I'm thinking that.
<v Speaker 1>I'm thinking I want to get Brenton's Yeah, if I can,
<v Speaker 1>I want to get brent in on this. You gotta
<v Speaker 1>you gotta cut to yourself when you eat it. Though,
<v Speaker 1>I will say that these why don't you like this
<v Speaker 1>man told me he doesn't like tortillas, plain crackers, bread.
<v Speaker 1>I'm like, I'm like, we could do it on white bread,
<v Speaker 1>and he goes, it have to be some bomb ass
<v Speaker 1>white bread. I'm like, it's not supposed to taste like anything,
<v Speaker 1>because you're just eating a meal at that point.
<v Speaker 2>It's supposed to taste like nothing.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, how do you not like the taste of nothing,
<v Speaker 1>because yeah, but it's the point you're gonna taste the
<v Speaker 1>hot soulce Okay, okay, I let him raw dog, cut
<v Speaker 1>to yourself when you raw dog? Please, I want to
<v Speaker 1>watch you raw dog.
<v Speaker 2>Nice.
<v Speaker 1>Hm.
<v Speaker 2>That s sounds pretty good.
<v Speaker 3>Now.
<v Speaker 1>I would say that for the most part, you haven't
<v Speaker 1>cut to yourself knowing that's gonna get spicy. There.
<v Speaker 2>I prepare you know that guy.
<v Speaker 1>That he was thinking, okay, more or less than the siracha. Okay, okay,
<v Speaker 1>I think we're leaning towards B on the occasion.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's fair. It's not as good as the siracha
<v Speaker 2>unless you put the out of ass. All right, what's
<v Speaker 2>up next? Good sir?
<v Speaker 3>We got the taco.
<v Speaker 1>That sounds good, right talking This is some britten again
<v Speaker 1>everywhere there.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, rights, take a bike, keep it up, keep it up. There,
<v Speaker 2>you go, do a little more, bre a little more.
<v Speaker 1>You got to get in there. Yeah, you gotta get it.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you, source man. I'm so glad you're back.
<v Speaker 2>That one's good.
<v Speaker 1>Let me pay you. Just be here and I will
<v Speaker 1>pay you. Yeah, here's the sound effects for us. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>that would be great. That would be amazing.
<v Speaker 2>That one's good. That's pretty good. I keep turning up.
<v Speaker 2>There's like a taco. Yeah.
<v Speaker 4>I keep turning my mic off because the doors open, So.
<v Speaker 1>Just leave your mic on for this. Who guys, we're
<v Speaker 1>going in and out. We're having a good time. Just
<v Speaker 1>talk with us.
<v Speaker 2>Is it possible for Brenton to put himself in the
<v Speaker 2>corner like that so we could just all react together.
<v Speaker 2>It would be good if they could see you. I
<v Speaker 2>know you.
<v Speaker 1>You worked really hard on making it so they couldn't
<v Speaker 1>see you in the corner. It actually would be kind
<v Speaker 1>of good if you were in the corner. Send myself
<v Speaker 1>out for this one moment. Yeah, gratifying. Actually, we'll let
<v Speaker 1>you figure that out. Yeah, okay, I like that one.
<v Speaker 1>It did taste like a taco. Yeah, you like that
<v Speaker 1>more or less than.
<v Speaker 2>Seracha definitely less, definitely like I feel like should have
<v Speaker 2>deserved an ass at this.
<v Speaker 1>I'm actually with you because I feel like that's a
<v Speaker 1>nice starting point.
<v Speaker 2>It is like perfect he and the flavor on that
<v Speaker 2>is like you can't go wrong. Now.
<v Speaker 1>What I'm trying to do is like spread, Like every
<v Speaker 1>time I take a new bite, I'm trying to spread
<v Speaker 1>where the hot sauce touches my tongue because it's going
<v Speaker 1>to keep going in the same spot.
<v Speaker 2>It's just going to like come numb. Bro. You are hispanic.
<v Speaker 2>You have I know how I know how my body works.
<v Speaker 2>I'm thinking. I'm thinking ahead of the long term.
<v Speaker 1>I know you're doing a lot back there, Brenton, because
<v Speaker 1>I asked you to. But could you cut to the
<v Speaker 1>screen when you have a second. Sure, I'm putting taco
<v Speaker 1>in a I bumped up to s nice. But we
<v Speaker 1>have a first contender for the for the final three.
<v Speaker 2>All right, what I.
<v Speaker 3>Got all right up next is Caribbean line.
<v Speaker 2>Welcoming to the chip.
<v Speaker 1>We have Caribbean line with a hint of line and
<v Speaker 1>just a splash of Caribbean.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you.
<v Speaker 1>I will say that I'm leaning way more towards any
<v Speaker 1>of the actual red sauces just for branding.
<v Speaker 2>Hmm good.
<v Speaker 1>It tastes like the green sauce you get at the
<v Speaker 1>Mexican joint. That's getting spicier, though, I feel I feel
<v Speaker 1>little bit. That's a tingle. My lips will tingle. What's
<v Speaker 1>that one? This one is I feel the fire. It
<v Speaker 1>goes up to twenty seven. Yeah, and it's already tingling.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Feel your eyes, by the way, don't rub your
<v Speaker 2>eyes or nothing.
<v Speaker 3>Your eyes.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, it's not on my hands. I really liked
<v Speaker 2>that one. I like it.
<v Speaker 1>It did taste caribbean. I don't like that it's not red. Yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>can you cut the three?
<v Speaker 2>That was a chip accident? Well, I would say, for yeah,
<v Speaker 2>branding's sake, we should try to stick with the red ones.
<v Speaker 2>You believe so? I think so. Because this is the
<v Speaker 2>non Tendo podcast, I think they have to be red. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that's a good one.
<v Speaker 1>But there's a lot of red one. There's a lot
<v Speaker 1>of red, Okay, but I really liked it though. Nice
<v Speaker 1>b let's go becha occasion and then Caribbean right next
<v Speaker 1>to it. All right, that's not how you spell you know,
<v Speaker 1>B E A N B. E a n thank you?
<v Speaker 1>Oh like pirates?
<v Speaker 2>Yes?
<v Speaker 1>Now, how here's the thing. Do you say Caribbean or
<v Speaker 1>Caribbean Caribbean when I when I'm talking about pirates of
<v Speaker 1>the Caribbean, If I'm going to the Caribbean, that's but
<v Speaker 1>for some reason, it is pirates of the Caribbean, parts
<v Speaker 1>of the Caribbean, of the Caribbean, Caribbean, Caribbean.
<v Speaker 2>What did I say Caribbean or which that one?
<v Speaker 3>Right?
<v Speaker 2>Garlic scenario?
<v Speaker 1>Oh that sounds like what what'd you say?
<v Speaker 2>Brent? I think that you got curly chip over there.
<v Speaker 2>It's gonna hold it, hug it tight.
<v Speaker 1>Alright, I'm getting concerned. I'm getting my mouth is spicy,
<v Speaker 1>my mouth is on fire. I can't sorry one more
<v Speaker 1>time garlic gar serrano. I'm just like getting all like
<v Speaker 1>flushed and red and breaking out.
<v Speaker 2>That's good. The last few ones we've tried, I'll have
<v Speaker 2>like a lemonee zinc to them. What your chaste chip? Oh?
<v Speaker 2>I don't like that one? And that one's spicy. Well
<v Speaker 2>it hits like once.
<v Speaker 1>You like, yeah, it's garlicy and lemon, and like, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>lemony garlic lime not my favorite. Yeah, I like it,
<v Speaker 1>but I don't know how I feel about garlic and
<v Speaker 1>a hot sauce, although that is isn't that?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? Is nice, But this one's like evident garlic taste
<v Speaker 2>and with the lemon. I like it, but I would.
<v Speaker 1>Say, you know, since it's not red, I'm alady, see
<v Speaker 1>I like the casion and you can throw it in
<v Speaker 1>the sea. I'm trying to feel tingle. You gotta get
<v Speaker 1>Britain in this. Not a strong tingle, but a tingle. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>what do we got here? We have no red red?
<v Speaker 1>I like the I like the red, so this is
<v Speaker 1>a level eight.
<v Speaker 2>Make sure I'm sorry. I'm trying to get on the
<v Speaker 2>mat here too.
<v Speaker 1>Can you drop off, like like any of the hot
<v Speaker 1>sauces he hasn't tried in this. Let him go wild
<v Speaker 1>on him, just let him row dog the hell out
<v Speaker 1>of him.
<v Speaker 2>Woom yo. This one takes like Louisiana hot sauce and.
<v Speaker 1>Brenton if you try them and you're like, wow, this
<v Speaker 1>was actually really good. Let us know which one that one?
<v Speaker 2>Holy ship bro in my mouth. I really liked that one.
<v Speaker 2>That was a little hot. That was a little hot.
<v Speaker 2>I like that one. Shrugging there, buddy, as soon as
<v Speaker 2>I swallowed. It hit the back of my throat. Pause, Bro,
<v Speaker 2>that's getting there. Don't pause.
<v Speaker 1>Can you can you get me a little bit more
<v Speaker 1>of that one?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? That was great.
<v Speaker 1>I felt that one pretty good. I want to I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna regret the spice, but what he can do it
<v Speaker 1>that's fine.
<v Speaker 2>It was good. I like it. It tastes like Louisiana pasta.
<v Speaker 1>It was hot. I don't know if I do want more. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>it's just I kind of didn't catch the flavor on it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, the flavor is not there.
<v Speaker 1>There's some heat though, yeah, I get there is some.
<v Speaker 2>I tasted it. It tasted just like Louisiana sauce.
<v Speaker 4>I don't like Louisiana hot sauce, but like I love
<v Speaker 4>it's close.
<v Speaker 1>Well if that's an Indica Brenton style. I tasted the
<v Speaker 1>flavor a bit more, but I agreed the flavor is lacking.
<v Speaker 1>The heat is there, but I do taste it, Okay,
<v Speaker 1>So put it wherever you want. I would say, like, see,
<v Speaker 1>I liked the red of it. The heat is and
<v Speaker 1>the heat is there, and I do taste that Caribbean.
<v Speaker 1>I'm kind of it's kind of Nola red. Nola red.
<v Speaker 1>I'm kind of more like an a because of the
<v Speaker 1>red pot too. If you even hold Nola red, which
<v Speaker 1>by the way, we're going to rename well, that's not
<v Speaker 1>that's just what they called it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's like the default names. I liked that a lot. Okay, okay,
<v Speaker 2>is that a red one too? I'm cracking the milk.
<v Speaker 2>Go ahead, and we're going again. It's a chipot. I'm excited.
<v Speaker 2>Watch you don't get the mic. Let's try this. Oh
<v Speaker 2>I spilled milk. I'm not going to cry about it,
<v Speaker 2>but I spilled a lot. M Oh my god, that
<v Speaker 2>is incredible. You got that smokey chipotle taste. Thank you, sir,
<v Speaker 2>Thank you very strong. I want to get in there.
<v Speaker 2>I always get the tabasco, the smoky spot tabasco at
<v Speaker 2>it tastes good. That smoke. Yeah, that's smoking for a burrito.
<v Speaker 2>That would be fire. What can I see the color
<v Speaker 2>of it? Can you show the color? It's very red. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that goes as.
<v Speaker 1>Tiers like a smoke. Do you think actually I feel
<v Speaker 1>like that goes as tier. I would buy it. Bro
<v Speaker 1>Me and my wife we go through that smoky, nontendo smoky.
<v Speaker 2>What are the flavor profiles? Were they siracha and smoky
<v Speaker 2>right now, what was that one like?
<v Speaker 3>Smoky?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, smoky hab a narrow non tender, have a narrow
<v Speaker 1>non tender. There's something there. What should I put it in?
<v Speaker 2>Smoky smoky Habernaro? Put it on an ass. Yeah, I'm
<v Speaker 2>gonna do as.
<v Speaker 1>I'm putting it in as smoky hab. I'm still feeling
<v Speaker 1>that apps.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I feel like that one. That one's I can
<v Speaker 2>feel in my throat.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, it's like water for bowser out of the orders,
<v Speaker 1>we're going back down to. Okay, this is mango mango.
<v Speaker 1>I'm fine to go down for it to.
<v Speaker 2>Pat.
<v Speaker 1>Can I actually do me another huge favor? Is it
<v Speaker 1>more water?
<v Speaker 3>Yeah?
<v Speaker 2>This one's orange. Yeah, Brentain stopped laughing at me. I
<v Speaker 2>saw you laugh at me in the corner. Did you
<v Speaker 2>hear me? Mango?
<v Speaker 1>No? I saw you smirk when I said can I
<v Speaker 1>get water?
<v Speaker 3>Should?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? Yeah? I mean it is the mango. No, that's
<v Speaker 2>so sweet. I don't like that.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not no, I don't like it either. It's kind
<v Speaker 1>of refreshing after the other ones. I wouldn't sell it.
<v Speaker 1>I kind of I do kind of like it, but
<v Speaker 1>it's nice. I can't imagine what I If I had it,
<v Speaker 1>I might use it once or twice and then I'd
<v Speaker 1>be like, well, do I really want my eggs to
<v Speaker 1>taste like mango?
<v Speaker 2>Again, I've done that before.
<v Speaker 1>I've bought a Mango hot sauce before, and I stopped
<v Speaker 1>using it pretty quickly because I was like, I just
<v Speaker 1>don't want everything to taste like mango.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, you know, yeah, I never really got the hype
<v Speaker 2>behind like orange like chicken and whatnot. Like it's good
<v Speaker 2>on occasion, but I'm not a fan of sweets like that.
<v Speaker 1>I'm having pat go and get a water, so I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna grab the next one, which is Habernarow pumpkin. It's
<v Speaker 1>an eight okay and it is it is red. Also,
<v Speaker 1>I'm a big pumpkin guy. Spice pumpkin. I better be
<v Speaker 1>able to taste that I grabbed this one.
<v Speaker 3>Okay, have an air pumpkin?
<v Speaker 2>Wait? Can you say it? Can you say it? Fun?
<v Speaker 1>Like the Smash bro? Where have you been all my life? Introducing?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? It is like Smash Actually, no warm, have a
<v Speaker 2>narrow pump It literally smells like a pumpkin spice.
<v Speaker 1>I'm actually this is going to be a hot one
<v Speaker 1>for me not to put in ass. I can already
<v Speaker 1>feel it. I'm big guy.
<v Speaker 2>WHOA, that is interesting. That is crazy how it tastes
<v Speaker 2>like pumpkin. It's pumpkin spice hot sauce. Literally, I feel
<v Speaker 2>about that on a gingerbread cookie or something a cinnamon.
<v Speaker 1>I know what you mean. But it's actually so cool.
<v Speaker 1>It's really spicy.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's one of those things you eat like every
<v Speaker 2>once in a while getting flushed.
<v Speaker 1>This one's the hardest one so far.
<v Speaker 3>Oh no, we're going.
<v Speaker 1>Hold on a second, we gotta. Yeah, it's more so
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't have to stay that. I'm kind of at
<v Speaker 1>an ass. I'm kind of like pumpkin like that, well,
<v Speaker 1>like I like pumpkin pie, but I don't think.
<v Speaker 2>That tastes incredible. But again, I just don't see the
<v Speaker 2>use case for it.
<v Speaker 1>I know, I know, I hear everything. What did you say, Breton?
<v Speaker 1>It's fantastic, but I would never buy it exactly like.
<v Speaker 2>It tastes so good. I know what you mean.
<v Speaker 1>It tasted so good, though, I almost want to roll
<v Speaker 1>a dog it every day. I'm put it in your coffee,
<v Speaker 1>I'll put it in a I'll put it in a
<v Speaker 1>I kind of really want to put it in s though.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, go pass me the chips please.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, i'd put it in a I think it was
<v Speaker 1>I think it was my favorite one so far. It tasted,
<v Speaker 1>but I know you mean, it's like, what do you
<v Speaker 1>do with it? Like, do you put it on your
<v Speaker 1>eggs and make pumpkin spice eggs?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that'd be a little weird.
<v Speaker 1>You put it in your burrita, make a pumpkin spice burrito.
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god, here you go. There's milk and this.
<v Speaker 2>By the way, what else we got we're stepping it up? Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>oh god, I can't make it. Get ready, gentlemen, row
<v Speaker 2>fucking chat all right, put a dab it up. So
<v Speaker 2>I want to shot.
<v Speaker 1>If you're enjoying this, by the way, and if you're not,
<v Speaker 1>just don't say anything. I don't want to know about it.
<v Speaker 1>Oh sorry, Yeah, I'm scared. I'm gonna need more chips soon.
<v Speaker 1>Oh oh, someone said do the pumpkin at full time.
<v Speaker 1>I'm not against it. If you have to pick three,
<v Speaker 1>having the pumpkin as one, that's perfect.
<v Speaker 2>Was that red red hobbin arrow that was hot?
<v Speaker 1>That was hot with what's happening now is we're just
<v Speaker 1>getting spice.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's just getting spicy now. I tasted the hobbinaro
<v Speaker 2>in it, though Hobbinaro has a very distinct taste.
<v Speaker 1>Now it's like that one's out of the flavor realm
<v Speaker 1>and it's just where this is a spicy hot sauce.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's a nine.
<v Speaker 1>Imagine we stopped to go to ten, so we have
<v Speaker 1>seventeen degrees higher. I'm not I'm legitimately don't know if
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna make it, and I don't know if I'm
<v Speaker 1>going to sell a reaper sauce anyway. Yeah, like, am
<v Speaker 1>I going to sell a reaper sauce? Maybe that's the cutoff.
<v Speaker 1>That might be the cut of Okay, so we need
<v Speaker 1>to rank that one. It's good if you're looking for
<v Speaker 1>a really spicy hot sauce.
<v Speaker 2>If we want to.
<v Speaker 1>Offer like a a mile in a medium and a hot,
<v Speaker 1>that could be the hardest one in my opinion. Yeah. So,
<v Speaker 1>but if it was Scotch bonnet. But I'm curious to
<v Speaker 1>go up to that twenty seven though, Brenton, I can't
<v Speaker 1>hear you. My ears are ringing. What did you say?
<v Speaker 4>I was saying this would be better if it was
<v Speaker 4>Scotch bon it instead of having yarrow Scotch bond it.
<v Speaker 4>It's just about as hot, but it has a slightly
<v Speaker 4>sweeter undertone.
<v Speaker 1>It definitely tasted like hot sauce. Yeah, it's more savor
<v Speaker 1>its savory.
<v Speaker 2>Where do you want to put it?
<v Speaker 1>I'm almost at S because it's like top of the
<v Speaker 1>line spicy hot sauce, but the flavor wasn't really there,
<v Speaker 1>so it could.
<v Speaker 2>Be a what do you think I'd say? I'd say A.
<v Speaker 2>Do you guys need milk or anything? No, I'm good,
<v Speaker 2>I'm telling you, Yeah, it is turning red. I'm good
<v Speaker 2>with the I'm good with the spice. I eat bulldog
<v Speaker 2>noodles pretty consistently, which I shouldn't. Don't know what bulldog is?
<v Speaker 2>You know? No, I got milk. You can pour it
<v Speaker 2>into your cups. What I did good?
<v Speaker 1>Idea, I'm gonna take some more. You're say that real
<v Speaker 1>quick as where are we at?
<v Speaker 2>Boys? I would say A because you guys don't like it,
<v Speaker 2>but I would have definitely ranked that an ass.
<v Speaker 1>I would eat that, killing me. Yeah, well, I'm Middle Eastern,
<v Speaker 1>so a R S A R S Breton.
<v Speaker 2>I put it a B. It's just hot.
<v Speaker 1>Meet in the middle, will do A and we'll do.
<v Speaker 2>What was it?
<v Speaker 1>What was it called hob an arrown red hobinar Okay, next, well, god, next, okay.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I should not drinking that red bull and Express
<v Speaker 2>has bulldog chicken right now, No way, I gotta I saw.
<v Speaker 1>That on a billboard on the way back from the
<v Speaker 1>zoo today.
<v Speaker 2>I gotta try that. Yeah. Now when you make those,
<v Speaker 2>do you do older red sauce? I do? That's insane. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>you're nuts. Yeah, Kim and I put like two little
<v Speaker 2>dollops that she'll put like droplets. I'll do the full thing.
<v Speaker 2>I'm locked in. Let's do it. I got the first
<v Speaker 2>time I ever ate them. I did the Times too,
<v Speaker 2>because I'm like, oh, how hot is it going to be?
<v Speaker 2>So I did the Times too. I literally, bro, I
<v Speaker 2>was ship in LoVa. Bro. It was horrible. I could
<v Speaker 2>see that, all right. I'm juic stuff bat milk helped
<v Speaker 2>prepare yourselves for ghosts Chili. Okay, so same as the
<v Speaker 2>last one.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, ghost chili, Like that's supposed to be like one
<v Speaker 1>of the hottest things.
<v Speaker 2>Look at that, guys, look at that. That's a lot, right,
<v Speaker 2>Oh my god, that's a lot. That's a lot.
<v Speaker 1>That's a lot.
<v Speaker 2>You can.
<v Speaker 3>You can, you can off, you can damn it off.
<v Speaker 2>I would not blame you. I need you know. That
<v Speaker 2>wasn't that bad. It tastes really good.
<v Speaker 5>Hold on, okay, that's not as hot.
<v Speaker 2>It kicks in. It's gonna kick in. Oh yeah, h.
<v Speaker 1>Is that why they call it ghost? It sneaks up
<v Speaker 1>on you and on you like that. I feel it
<v Speaker 1>sneaking a bit. I feel like the last one was
<v Speaker 1>way hotter this one.
<v Speaker 2>This one tastes incredible too. It tastes good. I put
<v Speaker 2>that in that could actually be the hot one. That
<v Speaker 2>could be like yeah that and I'm not a feeling too.
<v Speaker 2>I mean I had a doll above it. But yeah,
<v Speaker 2>that's good. I like that. Yeah, okay, so ghost have
<v Speaker 2>an arrow? Was it ghost Chili? Ghost Chili?
<v Speaker 1>Also, I feel like there's a lot we can do
<v Speaker 1>with ghost like boo like like Nintendo boo boo sauce,
<v Speaker 1>booze gooy goo boo sauce. That's not bad. That's for
<v Speaker 1>you guys to decide. Okay, we actually right now we
<v Speaker 1>have three solid contenders for We have a serracha, which
<v Speaker 1>was like a nice flavor spice smoky, which I love.
<v Speaker 2>Is smoky yeah, which was more like a medium.
<v Speaker 1>And then ghost chili, which is like that's probably as
<v Speaker 1>hot as I would have Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>About fifteen now I could see them justning ahead.
<v Speaker 3>We have three more to go.
<v Speaker 2>We are acts coconut, ghost chili, coconut. I don't like coconut. Fifteen.
<v Speaker 1>Well, this is ghost chili again, so we can use
<v Speaker 1>the boogoo boo.
<v Speaker 2>And it's five.
<v Speaker 3>More alright, no, no, three more, three more more.
<v Speaker 2>I'm dying.
<v Speaker 5>Mm hmmmm, okay, thank you. So very sweet. It's not
<v Speaker 5>even it's not that spicy that. It's not a spice
<v Speaker 5>as I thought it would be.
<v Speaker 2>No good, it's more spicy. It's more spicy. I don't
<v Speaker 2>know about you guys.
<v Speaker 1>It's a little bit more more spicy. Yeah right, it's
<v Speaker 1>way more spicy.
<v Speaker 2>Throat I tried. I'll try it again, oh the back
<v Speaker 2>of my throat. I did like the flavor, Yeah, it
<v Speaker 2>was good. It was good.
<v Speaker 1>I just like the sweet stuff. But coconut, mall did anyone?
<v Speaker 1>Did anyone like that more than the last one?
<v Speaker 2>No? Okay, I couldn't taste the coconut, yeah I couldn't.
<v Speaker 2>It's just it's just like sweet, like, but there was
<v Speaker 2>no coconut like distinct flavor that comes out like the
<v Speaker 2>pumpkin one, the pumpkin one.
<v Speaker 1>Just hit unless brother, brother, just yeah, unless anyone has
<v Speaker 1>a strong opinion, I'm gonna be good. Okay, these fine,
<v Speaker 1>He's fine, Okay, Okay.
<v Speaker 2>Don't forget you have a bonus episode. Yeah I know.
<v Speaker 1>I was just gonna say, don't forget to have ice cream.
<v Speaker 1>I'm about to roll down the ice cream.
<v Speaker 2>Let's go. What have got next?
<v Speaker 1>Okay, up next, Garlic ghost.
<v Speaker 2>Sorry, I feel like I'm gonna love the flavor on
<v Speaker 2>that one. This was really good. Up brother, this one
<v Speaker 2>Breton already. Yeah. I tried a bunch of them last week. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>they were outside last week. Oh yeah, you can do
<v Speaker 2>a little more. There you good.
<v Speaker 1>At this point with two more, I'm just gonna commit
<v Speaker 1>to this. I was gonna not do them, to be honest. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>all right, okay, all right.
<v Speaker 2>Oh good flavor, very hot. Oh that was very spicy.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah that's I was Yeah, that's that sneaks. Not really
<v Speaker 2>that happened quick. I know it's good.
<v Speaker 1>I actually like that one. More flavor ways and some
<v Speaker 1>other ones. But this is getting all brutal, like you know,
<v Speaker 1>you don't want a lawsuit. Man, I don't.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know. I don't feel like my intestines could
<v Speaker 2>handle it.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know if they can, although I did just
<v Speaker 1>think of a fun one spicy spicy takes name you know,
<v Speaker 1>like does spicy takes? I'm stealing it. He does, like
<v Speaker 1>spicy salad or something we do spicy woods? Would spicy
<v Speaker 1>take wood? Spicy wood?
<v Speaker 2>And with that kind of lingers too on that one?
<v Speaker 2>He does? All right, we got what one more left? Wait?
<v Speaker 2>Where does garlet ghost go? Oh?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I would say I don't know where I am
<v Speaker 1>right now.
<v Speaker 2>I would say garlict ghosts would be an agg it's
<v Speaker 2>too hot to be an ass. It's very hot, like
<v Speaker 2>normal people would not be able to I don't think so.
<v Speaker 1>I think because like, by the way, remember that we're
<v Speaker 1>doing little dabs. Yeah on a chip this people are
<v Speaker 1>supposed to eat this, although maybe, like I don't know,
<v Speaker 1>maybe the people are maybe should we do a pole?
<v Speaker 1>Who are you do a pole for? Do we want
<v Speaker 1>a really spicy one?
<v Speaker 2>Yes? Or no?
<v Speaker 1>Guys, because the ten's already spicy enough. Hey, okay, journey.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, let's do it. Guys were already here.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, hold on wait, I want to step on it
<v Speaker 1>in case I have to get up.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, are you gonna run into the bathroom vomit?
<v Speaker 1>No?
<v Speaker 2>No, I'm good.
<v Speaker 1>And for our final sauce coming in at twenty seven
<v Speaker 1>is scorpion?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah?
<v Speaker 1>No? How do we go from fifteen to twenty seven?
<v Speaker 2>How was that? No step up between fifteen and twenty seven?
<v Speaker 2>Met one? That's horrible math? There you go?
<v Speaker 1>Oh my god? Wait, you need it? You got so
<v Speaker 1>much of that toy? However much Sully had? Double it?
<v Speaker 2>Oh you're kidding.
<v Speaker 1>No, I'll do the same, do the same, Do the
<v Speaker 1>same as Sully.
<v Speaker 2>Yo.
<v Speaker 1>Wait now, wait now, I'm scared to put it in
<v Speaker 1>my mouth, like, did you do a irresponsible amount as well?
<v Speaker 1>I got as much as maybe half? Okay, all right,
<v Speaker 1>I'm gotta do half. Oh my god, cause Sully is
<v Speaker 1>dying and you can.
<v Speaker 2>You can handle so much more than me.
<v Speaker 3>All right?
<v Speaker 2>Is that good? I kind of like dripped a lot. Okay, man,
<v Speaker 2>did you get it? I have a down on hell? Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>you can feel that radiating. I'm sorry, what you know?
<v Speaker 2>It's not bad? The flavor on that one was good.
<v Speaker 2>I can't let sell you do that, Bob, can I
<v Speaker 2>get a chip. Wait, I know what we call it? One?
<v Speaker 2>I think I took off too much.
<v Speaker 1>Blowed me up again, booty bread, we should call one
<v Speaker 1>variable variable spicing. That's that is incredible urial spicing. And
<v Speaker 1>I'm full sending this one the memes.
<v Speaker 2>I'm matching you, bro, I regret it. I just want
<v Speaker 2>to see the breakdown. Thank you. It's not working. Is
<v Speaker 2>that what we got?
<v Speaker 1>I don't say that. It lingers, man, it's not working. Wait,
<v Speaker 1>do more.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>This one's like double double everything, all of it.
<v Speaker 2>Okay, okay, okay, okay, that's a lot. That wasn't Booty,
<v Speaker 2>I'm sorry that was Who was that? You got a kid?
<v Speaker 1>Bro?
<v Speaker 2>What are you doing?
<v Speaker 1>Ih?
<v Speaker 2>Sketches of harmonies of that one? I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>It's like you're talking about numb.
<v Speaker 2>I feel it now.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's like not it's building now, but it's not
<v Speaker 1>as crazy as I was expecting. Three of those now
<v Speaker 1>it's yeah. Now I've yeah, now I've gone too far.
<v Speaker 2>You'll eat some ice cream or something. Oh my god.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, now that's the trash. I just wanted to feel something.
<v Speaker 1>Oh it's getting washed every time I swallow, it gets washed.
<v Speaker 1>Mm hmmm, did read do it?
<v Speaker 2>See me cry your tears? Dude? I did I ate
<v Speaker 2>a tortilla chip for you? Sally? Yeah, I'm trying to.
<v Speaker 3>I'm trying to see how long I can not.
<v Speaker 2>I'm telling you, it gets worse. He's dying. That's my
<v Speaker 2>eyes are twitching. Okay, he should have just stuck with
<v Speaker 2>the one.
<v Speaker 1>I just I honestly, that first two times I didn't
<v Speaker 1>feel anything, then I.
<v Speaker 2>Should have just stuck with that one. It just feel
<v Speaker 2>like Boulser spit in my mouth. Man, Oh god, I mean,
<v Speaker 2>we don't really have to place that one, do it?
<v Speaker 2>That one? I mean that one definitely should not be sold.
<v Speaker 2>That was a mistake. It's getting worse. Eat the ice cream.
<v Speaker 2>So now I wish we had check in with this
<v Speaker 2>already as.
<v Speaker 1>Podcast instead of becoming a Patreon today twenty the patreons
<v Speaker 1>get vap rewards.
<v Speaker 2>It hold God put another paper that was the final
<v Speaker 2>boss of sauces right there. So we're giving that a
<v Speaker 2>b A if we have it. No, come on, I got,
<v Speaker 2>I got, I got.
<v Speaker 1>It helps a little bit, but yeah, what was it cold?
<v Speaker 2>And like it stops the pain?
<v Speaker 1>But the hot one, I think it did its job. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it did its job. I don't think, oh my god,
<v Speaker 1>it's not not I get I can't talk h Scorpion
<v Speaker 1>Reaper to disable your podcast hosts. I get like a
<v Speaker 1>like a brief moment of relief when it sneaks back up.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, because you did it three times. I
<v Speaker 2>knew to stop at one. The roof of my mouth
<v Speaker 2>is on fire, my tongue in mere minutes. I mean
<v Speaker 2>I did, I went. I got past that phase, thankfully,
<v Speaker 2>but it's lingering in my mouth. Yeah about my phone,
<v Speaker 2>no one screenshot please miserable.
<v Speaker 1>I regret all my life choices the Nintendo.
<v Speaker 2>Right, guys, I should have ended the podcast when bubb left.
<v Speaker 2>It's over.
<v Speaker 1>This is what he didn't want. Okay, well we actually
<v Speaker 1>have our top three. Yeah, we never put anything else
<v Speaker 1>in s perfect Can you find them? The rach smoky
<v Speaker 1>haveing ghost Chili.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not kidding.
<v Speaker 1>Every time I'm not downing ice cream or milk, it
<v Speaker 1>sneaks back. The chips kind of make it a little
<v Speaker 1>harder too, because it's just I don't know if the
<v Speaker 1>ice cream is working as well.
<v Speaker 3>Do you guys want more milk?
<v Speaker 2>Are you sure you ever want more?
<v Speaker 1>Don't spill it all over yourself, pref we got the
<v Speaker 1>winning three. They're all right, too amazing. So this was
<v Speaker 1>the this was the siracha. This is a step one nice. Honestly,
<v Speaker 1>you could put this on. I just myself.
<v Speaker 3>It was like doing a serious review.
<v Speaker 2>And then I looked up on.
<v Speaker 1>Window. This is the serracha it was. We liked the
<v Speaker 1>flavor of that one, very nice, very like mild, not
<v Speaker 1>much heat, a little bit of kick. It was more
<v Speaker 1>kick than I expected, but it's enough to as much
<v Speaker 1>as you needn't. Then we had the Habit Hour CHIPOTLEI,
<v Speaker 1>which was very smoky, very nice, very nice. That'd be great,
<v Speaker 1>as you said, on a burrito, like that's like number
<v Speaker 1>one use case. But then you have tacos, you have
<v Speaker 1>like even eggs breakfast, great on anything. And then we
<v Speaker 1>had the Ghost Chili serracha, which was like that was
<v Speaker 1>level ten spice, right. It had really nice flavor, It
<v Speaker 1>had a had a heat that snuck up on you,
<v Speaker 1>and it was definitely what I would consider like I
<v Speaker 1>don't know if I could sit there and even eat
<v Speaker 1>a whole meal of it, but it's like that threshold.
<v Speaker 2>It's like the max you would go for if.
<v Speaker 1>You're looking for spice that's pretty spicy, like you'll you'll
<v Speaker 1>be blowing your nose by the end of your omelet exactly.
<v Speaker 2>Kind of literally, it looks like he's a phasing out
<v Speaker 2>of existence. You need to call nine one one, are
<v Speaker 2>you okay? Yeah? Man, So sorry for spotoon raiders.
<v Speaker 1>So the the white label name of them is siracha
<v Speaker 1>for level one for what we're calling number one. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>so you guys have to name these for us. So
<v Speaker 1>number one is the the white label name of siracha
<v Speaker 1>because that's just the flavor profile that we're gonna adopt
<v Speaker 1>and sell. Habanare Chipotle is number two, yep, and ghost
<v Speaker 1>Chili Serracha is number three. So you can go crazy
<v Speaker 1>in the comments and also in the chat if you
<v Speaker 1>see any all good ones, because Booty had a great
<v Speaker 1>one on the uh it was it was a movie,
<v Speaker 1>it was some bodies recognized it. It was variable spicing, variable
<v Speaker 1>spicing awesome. I honestly think like that sounds like a
<v Speaker 1>medium variable spicing, so it can relate to the things.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, we know this is ghost chili, so we
<v Speaker 1>could name the something to do with Boo or like
<v Speaker 1>Luigi's mansion or anything like that, or you can you
<v Speaker 1>can just go for the spice.
<v Speaker 2>It's level ten.
<v Speaker 1>It's Nintendo like Bowser obviously spicy Bowser's fury.
<v Speaker 2>It can be a show meme.
<v Speaker 1>It could be like Woods like cut to me Woods,
<v Speaker 1>Spicy Takes like whatever. You could ignore the flavor profiles
<v Speaker 1>doesn't matter, but one, two, three, and then we should
<v Speaker 1>also pin a comment with their names and their flavor
<v Speaker 1>profiles and their spice le gods.
<v Speaker 2>If you can make sure you write down the notes
<v Speaker 2>of which ones I missed as well.
<v Speaker 1>The spice level actually says four, eight and ten, but
<v Speaker 1>I would I would say like a like A two
<v Speaker 1>or three, A five.
<v Speaker 2>And a ten is yeah what I tasted? YEA for helping.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, thank you.
<v Speaker 2>Shake your head. I wore to shake your head. All right,

<v Speaker 1>and it seems to be working for them. Expect I
