<v Speaker 1>that span the early to mid nineteen nineties around Lake Weddington,
<v Speaker 1>Lincoln Lake, and the surrounding rural backroads. Larry describes a
<v Speaker 1>winter night drive where something slammed into the side of
<v Speaker 1>his vehicle with enough force to rock the car. Later
<v Speaker 1>on in life, he experienced a terrifying encounter while fishing
<v Speaker 1>when something large, heavy, and intelligent moved through the brush
<v Speaker 1>and entered the water near their boat. These experiences, along
<v Speaker 1>with stories of livestock killings and a close friend being
<v Speaker 1>chased out of the woods, raising serious questions about what's

<v Speaker 2>I'm doing good.
<v Speaker 3>How are you doing doing excellent?
<v Speaker 1>Thank you so much for asking, Larry, if you would
<v Speaker 1>tell me a little bit about yourself, where you're from,
<v Speaker 1>and your experiences from the very beginning.
<v Speaker 3>Please.
<v Speaker 2>My name's Larry. I am from Arkansas, lived in Arkansas
<v Speaker 2>my whole life pretty much in northwest Arkansas, and always
<v Speaker 2>gone out doors, gone hunted, and gone fishing. My parents.
<v Speaker 2>You know, I did that when I was a kid,
<v Speaker 2>and I just kept doing it as I got older.
<v Speaker 2>But we lived. I was born in Springdale, and when
<v Speaker 2>I was in my early teens we moved out to Lincoln. Anyway,
<v Speaker 2>once I got to where I could drive, I started
<v Speaker 2>going out to a lake called Lake Weddington that's really
<v Speaker 2>close to here where I live. It's about fifteen miles
<v Speaker 2>and I guess really thinking about it. When my second
<v Speaker 2>wife and I, right before we got married, we were
<v Speaker 2>out there one night and we were like off down
<v Speaker 2>a dirt road kind of doing you know whatever, and
<v Speaker 2>it was snowy. It was like right before we got married.
<v Speaker 2>We got married in February, so I think this was
<v Speaker 2>like January of probably, let's see, like nineteen ninety ninety one,
<v Speaker 2>ninety two, somewhere in there. And I said, we were
<v Speaker 2>off down at dirt road. It was snowing. We were
<v Speaker 2>kind of in the car and it's in the middle
<v Speaker 2>of the night, you know, nobody's out there, and something
<v Speaker 2>came up and just hit the side of the car.
<v Speaker 2>This is the one that was I told you that.
<v Speaker 2>I remembered after the fact. My ex wife reminded me,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, it's like I just started the car
<v Speaker 2>and we drove out, and I once we got a
<v Speaker 2>little ways from it, I stopped to look see if
<v Speaker 2>there was anything, you know, done to the car. But
<v Speaker 2>before we left, it's like I backed up, turned around.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't really see any tracks in the snow, but
<v Speaker 2>I said, there was like brush and stuff and everything
<v Speaker 2>all around. There weren't any trees over us, so nothing
<v Speaker 2>fell out of the tree. But it hit hard enough
<v Speaker 2>it rocked the car actually, which was kind of freaked
<v Speaker 2>me out because there shouldn't have been anything really out
<v Speaker 2>there that would have done that. I guess there were
<v Speaker 2>bear back then, but early wouldness out a bear doing it,
<v Speaker 2>and they weren't really that common at the time that
<v Speaker 2>I know of. And the next thing I can remember
<v Speaker 2>really happening is probably about five years later. It was summertime,
<v Speaker 2>probably late summer, maybe August, and one of my friends
<v Speaker 2>and I were out at the same lake fishing in
<v Speaker 2>a boat. We would just pull up on the dam,
<v Speaker 2>throwing rubber worms and jigs, and suddenly, you know, you
<v Speaker 2>could hear something coming through the brush. It sounded like
<v Speaker 2>somebody driving a truck through the trees. Just stuff was
<v Speaker 2>getting broke, tore up, just making all kinds of noise,
<v Speaker 2>and it was something big, you know, spending all the
<v Speaker 2>time out in the woods and everything, you could tell
<v Speaker 2>it wasn't like a deer, and it sounded like a
<v Speaker 2>person walking, because I've heard any of people walk through
<v Speaker 2>the woods. And you know, it's like I looked over
<v Speaker 2>at my friend because they're sitting out there. It's dark.
<v Speaker 2>I don't really think there was that much of a moon.
<v Speaker 2>It was clear though, but there just really wasn't any moon,
<v Speaker 2>and I looked at my friend and I said, I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>what's that. And as soon as I said that, whatever
<v Speaker 2>it was it was on the other side of the
<v Speaker 2>dam from us, which that dam is not that big,
<v Speaker 2>it stopped and it just like started running up the
<v Speaker 2>backside of the dam, ran over the top down and
<v Speaker 2>jumped into the water and started swimming toward the boat.
<v Speaker 2>And that greaked us out, and I just turned on
<v Speaker 2>the trolling motor and started trying to get away. You know,
<v Speaker 2>it's like something's going to come out the boat in
<v Speaker 2>the middle of the night like that. It's just like,
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna get out of there. And you know, it
<v Speaker 2>took it a little bit because it was actually catching us,
<v Speaker 2>you know, at first because of the trolling motter. It
<v Speaker 2>took it a little bit to get up to speed,
<v Speaker 2>and it was coming to the back of the boat obviously.
<v Speaker 2>And I don't know if my friend ever saw it,
<v Speaker 2>because he would never you would never talk about it,
<v Speaker 2>and it really wasn't that far after that, we kind
<v Speaker 2>of quit hanging around together. It just it made it.
<v Speaker 2>It changed things. It was really odd between us because
<v Speaker 2>I always tried to, you know, talk about it and
<v Speaker 2>figure out what it was, and he just never wanted
<v Speaker 2>to do anything with it. And I don't, Like I said,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if you ever saw it. I never did,
<v Speaker 2>but I've looked up videos of fairs swimming and stuff
<v Speaker 2>like that, and just the way it sounded swimming, it
<v Speaker 2>sounded like a person, you know, because a very you know,
<v Speaker 2>would kind of like do a dog paddle more or less.
<v Speaker 2>And I've listened to that and looked at videos of
<v Speaker 2>different animals and yeah, nothing really sounds like that, if
<v Speaker 2>you know what I mean. And I don't know. That's
<v Speaker 2>pretty much that for that and the only other things
<v Speaker 2>I remember. Like I said, we live about fifteen miles
<v Speaker 2>from there, and we've got seventeen and a half acres.
<v Speaker 2>Most of it's wooded. We have a pond that spring fed,
<v Speaker 2>and we live close to Lincoln Lak which is the
<v Speaker 2>town I live in where I live just outside of
<v Speaker 2>and there's like a lot of black panthers, mountain lions,
<v Speaker 2>whatever you're gonna call them. We've got a lot of
<v Speaker 2>bobcats and stuff. But I know a couple of times
<v Speaker 2>we've had stuff come up and just bang on the
<v Speaker 2>side of the house. I've heard it a couple of times,
<v Speaker 2>and one day when my son still lived here, he
<v Speaker 2>called me at work and said something was just going
<v Speaker 2>around the house banging on the wall, and he's you know,
<v Speaker 2>he never did go outside to look at it and
<v Speaker 2>try to see what it was. I always did, but
<v Speaker 2>I never saw anything but that stuff like that always
<v Speaker 2>happened in the summer. It's been a really long time
<v Speaker 2>since anything like that has happened. But yeah, those are
<v Speaker 2>That's pretty much everything I've got. Wow, it's not it's
<v Speaker 2>not a lot. It's just and we actually never got
<v Speaker 2>to see anything.
<v Speaker 1>Well, it's definitely worth reporting. The creature that hit the
<v Speaker 1>side of the vehicle, was it like the backside or
<v Speaker 1>the side of the car the passenger side?
<v Speaker 2>It was the back. I really couldn't tell what side.
<v Speaker 2>I had like a little Dodge charger, not one of
<v Speaker 2>the V eight ones, but one of the newer four cylinders.
<v Speaker 2>It came out the early eighties, if you remember those.
<v Speaker 2>It's like a little hatchback and we were like in
<v Speaker 2>the back and something whenever, you know, hit the car.
<v Speaker 2>It's like I called back up in the front seat
<v Speaker 2>and started the car, turned the lights on, like I said,
<v Speaker 2>I had to turn around to get out. We didn't
<v Speaker 2>never see anything, didn't never see any tracks. But once
<v Speaker 2>we got you know, back out to pavement, I stopped
<v Speaker 2>and looked at the car, got out and looked. I
<v Speaker 2>didn't see any dance or anything, because I said, it
<v Speaker 2>hit it hard enough to rock the car. But honestly,
<v Speaker 2>I couldn't tell you it was in the back, you know,
<v Speaker 2>toward the back where we were, but I couldn't honestly
<v Speaker 2>say for sure which side it was because we were
<v Speaker 2>just off down the trail in the woods. You know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's terrifying either way though. And did it cause
<v Speaker 1>any damage to the vehicle.
<v Speaker 2>No, No, it just you know, it's just like when
<v Speaker 2>you're if I was a kid out, you know, and
<v Speaker 2>I came up on you know, if I knew one
<v Speaker 2>of my friends were out in the woods doing stuff
<v Speaker 2>like that, I'd go up and just whack the side
<v Speaker 2>of their car to scirrel, you know. It was something
<v Speaker 2>like that. But I said it was January. It was
<v Speaker 2>about midnight and it was snowing. I really couldn't figure
<v Speaker 2>anybody would be, you know, out in the woods that
<v Speaker 2>time of night, in the snow, looking for somebody doing
<v Speaker 2>what we were doing.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>Absolutely, And the next experience that you had. You and
<v Speaker 1>some friends were fishing at the lake and it sounded
<v Speaker 1>like a huge vehicle was moving through the woods, but
<v Speaker 1>you could tell it was by pedal, like a giant man.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Yeah, you know, we thought it might have been
<v Speaker 2>a bear because it was kind of huffing when it
<v Speaker 2>was walking like like that, but it didn't when it ran,
<v Speaker 2>and when it walked it sounded bipedal, and when it swam,
<v Speaker 2>it definitely sounded like a person swimming.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, that sassquatch to me. Why do you think it
<v Speaker 1>got in the water and start swimming towards the boat.
<v Speaker 2>Unless we just surprised it or it had I don't
<v Speaker 2>would wouldn't haves thought it would have had a little
<v Speaker 2>one with it as fast as it was going just walking,
<v Speaker 2>because it was just it was moving along at a
<v Speaker 2>pretty good clip and tearing stuff up. But honestly, unless
<v Speaker 2>we just startled it, I have no idea. Because I
<v Speaker 2>said it was just quiet night. We were the only
<v Speaker 2>people out there. That's why I always liked to used
<v Speaker 2>to go out there when I was you know, a
<v Speaker 2>lot when I'd fish at night, because there wasn't anybody
<v Speaker 2>else out there hardly.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I feel like it was being territorial, and they
<v Speaker 1>often display this type of behavior when people are fishing.
<v Speaker 2>I've heard a couple other stories online, you know, people
<v Speaker 2>called in and about stuff like that. Nothing quite like
<v Speaker 2>what we had happened, but similar.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, And have you ever spoken with any other locals
<v Speaker 1>in the area that I've seen these things or have
<v Speaker 1>had strange experiences.
<v Speaker 2>I've talked to a couple people. I had another friend
<v Speaker 2>who said he thought he saw actually got chased out
<v Speaker 2>of the woods. He thought by a big foot, But
<v Speaker 2>that was in a different area that was out by
<v Speaker 2>kind of If you look it up, there's on a
<v Speaker 2>map there's a town where I live. It's called Lincoln,
<v Speaker 2>and if you go out a road called forty five,
<v Speaker 2>there's another little town called Clyde, and it's just more
<v Speaker 2>or less just a few houses.
<v Speaker 3>No w Yeah, so still pretty close.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's probably within twenty miles. I said he was
<v Speaker 2>out doing things he shouldn't have been doing in the
<v Speaker 2>woods at the time. I don't really want to go
<v Speaker 2>into too much detail, but he got chased to something.
<v Speaker 2>He said, something started tearing up trees and stuff, and
<v Speaker 2>it chased him back to his truck and Honestly, I
<v Speaker 2>really thought he was messing with me. But just as
<v Speaker 2>scared as he looked telling me the story, I was,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I kind of really did believe him because
<v Speaker 2>he was just I've never saw him that scared of
<v Speaker 2>anything before.
<v Speaker 3>You know.
<v Speaker 2>It's like me when whatever happened to us out there
<v Speaker 2>in the lake that night, I've never really been that
<v Speaker 2>scared of anything in my life, but that was, like,
<v Speaker 2>that was pretty terrifying.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I can only imagine.
<v Speaker 1>And Yeah, earlier this week, I had a lady call
<v Speaker 1>in from northwest Arkansas and she shared her encounters and
<v Speaker 1>she was by I think it's called the Spring River,
<v Speaker 1>which doesn't seem to be too far away from you,
<v Speaker 1>but I've also had reports from like Fayetteville and the
<v Speaker 1>Ozark National Forest, and you're not too far away from
<v Speaker 1>Cherokee Nation there, so it makes sense.
<v Speaker 2>Well, the forest, Weddington's got forest, and that's what was
<v Speaker 2>our national forest out there, And that's the odd thing
<v Speaker 2>about it to me, because there's a different part of
<v Speaker 2>the forest we used to go hunt at close to
<v Speaker 2>a place called Strickler, and I've had bear walk up
<v Speaker 2>on me out there, and I've had bobcat walk up
<v Speaker 2>on me out there. But I would always you know,
<v Speaker 2>I'd go out there and i'd like a cold day,
<v Speaker 2>get up under a tree and the sun come out.
<v Speaker 2>I would get sleepy and I would doze off and
<v Speaker 2>just sit out there and whizz and take a nap
<v Speaker 2>leaned up against the tree. But like I said, at
<v Speaker 2>Weddington where we used to go hunt out there and stuff,
<v Speaker 2>I was never that comfortable out there to actually do
<v Speaker 2>that leaned up against a tree. It always just felt
<v Speaker 2>off to me.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, like you were being watched or something.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean it was just never that comfortable of
<v Speaker 2>a place. But we saw other strange things happen out
<v Speaker 2>there besides that. These were more people related. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>we were walking down a trail one day and we
<v Speaker 2>came up to a clearing and somebody spelled out boom
<v Speaker 2>with rocks. I mean, that's just not something you'd really
<v Speaker 2>expect to see. And I know at that time they
<v Speaker 2>were finding a lot of people growing marijuana out there
<v Speaker 2>that weren't supposed to be and we were always kind
<v Speaker 2>of worried that that would be like movie traps and stuff,
<v Speaker 2>you know, because they did that stuff back then, shotguns
<v Speaker 2>and stuff and trees people get out there, messed around
<v Speaker 2>and shoot them.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, you never know, and it's definitely an eerie place. Recently,
<v Speaker 1>I think there was two different people that were mauled
<v Speaker 1>by black bears out there. And it just goes to
<v Speaker 1>show how much woods there is in Arkansas.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I said, my son hunts bear, he hunts pigs.
<v Speaker 2>I've gone pig hunting with him. I mean, stuff like
<v Speaker 2>that doesn't really bother me. And like I said, when
<v Speaker 2>we go, when i'd go out to Strickler with my
<v Speaker 2>dad and my son, I never, you know, I'd sit
<v Speaker 2>out there and lean up against the tree and go
<v Speaker 2>to sleep. I never really worried about it. I was
<v Speaker 2>just never that comfortable at Weddington. I don't know. I
<v Speaker 2>can't say what the difference was. It was just spooky,
<v Speaker 2>you just you never I never had that comfortable of
<v Speaker 2>a feeling out there. I was always on edge sitting
<v Speaker 2>out in the woods out there.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I can see why. And it looks like there's a
<v Speaker 1>lot of woods around it. And are there any springs
<v Speaker 1>or caves in the area, do you know, Well.
<v Speaker 2>There's a lot of water. I mean there's a lot
<v Speaker 2>of water, a lot of ponds back up in there.
<v Speaker 2>I know we found some, but I'm sure there are springs.
<v Speaker 2>I'm looking at the map of it now, and somewhere
<v Speaker 2>close there's a chamber springs access going to the Illinois
<v Speaker 2>River which the Illinois runs through there, and it's a lake.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, there's water all over the place. There's farms.
<v Speaker 2>There are a lot of chicken farms and stuff around them,
<v Speaker 2>but there's still a lot of woods.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And the encounter happened close to the dam, correct.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, Yeah, probably within fifty foot of it, because it
<v Speaker 2>came up over the dam and was swimming toos We
<v Speaker 2>were fishing. If you were in the lake city looking
<v Speaker 2>at the dam, we were on the left side because
<v Speaker 2>we like to fish at that corner. There were a
<v Speaker 2>lot of down trees and stuff. We used to catch
<v Speaker 2>a few bass in there at night. That's where we
<v Speaker 2>would go either start or finish the night out at.
<v Speaker 3>Okay.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I've heard a lot of reports where people encounter
<v Speaker 1>sasquatched by the dam. And there's a place in Missouri
<v Speaker 1>called Lake Wappapello, and a lot of people talk about
<v Speaker 1>having bigfoot encounters or experiences by the dam when they're fishing.
<v Speaker 2>I never heard of that lake so.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's not too far away from Arkansas, but it's yeah,
<v Speaker 1>a little.
<v Speaker 3>It's a little ways.
<v Speaker 1>Away from there. So I can understand that. What other
<v Speaker 1>experiences have you had. Have you experienced anything out of
<v Speaker 1>the norm other than encryptid creatures, any UFOs, paranormal activity,
<v Speaker 1>anything like that.
<v Speaker 2>Nothing I can really say. I know. Another night we
<v Speaker 2>were out there fishing. I honestly, I always thought it
<v Speaker 2>was just a meteor. But we were fishing up in
<v Speaker 2>the back end. There's cabins you can rent and let
<v Speaker 2>me get a drink. My boy, sounds crappy. We used
<v Speaker 2>to fish up in there because there was a lot
<v Speaker 2>of grass and we'd catch bass in the grass and
<v Speaker 2>the beavers. The beavers were fun because they'd come up
<v Speaker 2>and slap the water with their tail and try to
<v Speaker 2>chase us out. But something exploded in the sky one night.
<v Speaker 2>It started out it was kind of like a really
<v Speaker 2>light purple and then it went to pink, and I
<v Speaker 2>found a doorbell video online of another pink flash in
<v Speaker 2>the sky like that. But as I think that was
<v Speaker 2>a meteor because they can burn those colors and whatever.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe it started out burning whatever it was in it
<v Speaker 2>was the purple I can't remember what causes them to
<v Speaker 2>burn that color, Yeah, make them burn green. But that
<v Speaker 2>blew up like in the sky right above us, And
<v Speaker 2>that was interesting because at the time I really had
<v Speaker 2>no clue what that would have been.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, And have you ever noticed any strange balls of
<v Speaker 1>light in the woods at the lake or anywhere else?
<v Speaker 2>I haven't, But I've talked to people who have, I
<v Speaker 2>guess out there at that lake, and they said they've
<v Speaker 2>had similar kind of experiences as I have, But nothing
<v Speaker 2>I can say honestly for sure.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I'm sure people have had rocks thrown at them
<v Speaker 1>at that lake, especially where you were fishing at It
<v Speaker 1>just seems like the perfect spot for them to throw
<v Speaker 1>rocks and cause havocs.
<v Speaker 2>One other thing that happened out there I always thought
<v Speaker 2>was odd and I never could really find a good
<v Speaker 2>reason for it. There's a place, there's a really nasty
<v Speaker 2>curve right there at the lake, and who used to
<v Speaker 2>be able to park right close to that and you
<v Speaker 2>could walk off in the woods. But we always that
<v Speaker 2>One year we were close hunting close to the pavement,
<v Speaker 2>not too far, I mean far enough way to be legal,
<v Speaker 2>but we were seeing some dough come through there and
<v Speaker 2>we were out there muzzleoder hunting. But it was like me,
<v Speaker 2>my dad and my friend who I was out there
<v Speaker 2>with the boat that night, and we were all kind
<v Speaker 2>of parked or we walked in separated from each other.
<v Speaker 2>But soon my friend came over to me because he
<v Speaker 2>heard it too. There was like a lady yelling for help.
<v Speaker 2>And then we got up there. My dad was already
<v Speaker 2>up there, but a lady like hit an ice patch
<v Speaker 2>and rolled her car off the road, and he was
<v Speaker 2>about fifteen twenty feet in the trees. And we never
<v Speaker 2>heard her do it, but we could hear her yelling
<v Speaker 2>for help, but we never heard the actual car crash.
<v Speaker 2>And it was just a few minutes before because the
<v Speaker 2>wheels were still spending on her car. It was odd,
<v Speaker 2>but you know, we never actually heard the car crash,
<v Speaker 2>which I never understood how that could happen.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, that is strange for sure.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, and it's just weird things have happened out there.
<v Speaker 2>Nothing you can really say. I wouldn't know how to
<v Speaker 2>say anyway. Yeah, the the car crash I never really
<v Speaker 2>could figure out because we never heard the actual car go,
<v Speaker 2>I mean going through the trees from rolling over you
<v Speaker 2>think that would be noisy.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, you would think so, for sure.
<v Speaker 1>And it kind of sounds like the squatch followed you
<v Speaker 1>home because they were slapping on the side of the house.
<v Speaker 1>And I think you said they did it multiple times.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's just been a long time since I've done it.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, why do you think they did it?
<v Speaker 2>I have no idea, honestly. I do astro photography, so
<v Speaker 2>I'm outside a lot at night, and I work nights,
<v Speaker 2>so you know, and sometimes I'd just like to go
<v Speaker 2>sit out night, look up, look up at the sky.
<v Speaker 2>And I don't I don't know why it would have.
<v Speaker 2>Like I said, you know, we live on seventeen acres.
<v Speaker 2>Most of it's wooded, and there's farms all around us.
<v Speaker 2>We've got a spring pet spring pet pond, and I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I don't really know what they would eat, if they
<v Speaker 2>would eat chickens, We've got chicken houses. And I mean,
<v Speaker 2>just I guess that's one other thing that did happen.
<v Speaker 2>I just remembered my dad thought it was a cat. It.
<v Speaker 2>I had already moved. I moved away when I was
<v Speaker 2>younger for a while before I moved back out to
<v Speaker 2>the family land. But something broke into mom and Dad's
<v Speaker 2>chicken house and killed all their chickens one night, and
<v Speaker 2>there was just like dead chickens everywhere. Instead looked like
<v Speaker 2>something was up in a tree eating them because there

<v Speaker 2>The only other thing like maybe a bobcat or a
<v Speaker 2>panther lie outline or something, because we've got those out here.

<v Speaker 1>a a bear or something something of that size.

<v Speaker 2>Back when that happened, that was probably around twenty five
<v Speaker 2>years ago, I wouldn't have thought. I really wouldn't even
<v Speaker 2>think it would be a bear. Now. We have bear
<v Speaker 2>close to us now, but not that close. But I
<v Speaker 2>know we've had cats around all this time, but they
<v Speaker 2>always I never really always wondered if the cat would
<v Speaker 2>actually just come in and kill every bird like that.
<v Speaker 2>I feared they would just come in and get enough
<v Speaker 2>to you know, and then go away.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, you would think, But I don't know.

<v Speaker 2>Not no, not really. I mean there's not a lot
<v Speaker 2>to what's happened, and it's just you know, odd things.
<v Speaker 2>And the thing with the lake out there, with whatever
<v Speaker 2>tried to get to the boat that night. Yeah, that's
<v Speaker 2>like the biggest thing I've ever had happen.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's certainly something to make note of. And these
<v Speaker 1>things have been known to swim in the water, and
<v Speaker 1>I mean you heard it huffing, breaking limbs and moving
<v Speaker 1>through the woods, so that's what it had been. It
<v Speaker 1>possibly got into the water, and that's freaky.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I said it was at night. I know there
<v Speaker 2>wasn't a moon because we couldn't see anything, and my
<v Speaker 2>friend always had a spotlight. I don't know if he
<v Speaker 2>turned the spotlight on and saw it, because like I said,
<v Speaker 2>it was dark and I didn't I didn't take the
<v Speaker 2>time to turn on the light. I knew kind of
<v Speaker 2>where we were sitting and how we were sitting in
<v Speaker 2>which way I needed to go. I said, we didn't
<v Speaker 2>even reel in our lines. I just turned the troll
<v Speaker 2>the motor on and started going. Because it's it really
<v Speaker 2>scared me. So that really had never seen that many
<v Speaker 2>things in life that scared me, but that.
<v Speaker 1>Really, Yeah, I completely understand that, and you probably made
<v Speaker 1>the right choice to get out of the area.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's like you could hear it walking away after
<v Speaker 2>it took you know, went back to the bank and
<v Speaker 2>stuff and it left. But I said, unless it was
<v Speaker 2>just like being territorial, like you said, I don't even
<v Speaker 2>really have a good idea of why it came in
<v Speaker 2>the water after us. But like I said, if I
<v Speaker 2>hadn't have said what I said, it wouldn't have known
<v Speaker 2>we were there, because it hurt me whenever I said
<v Speaker 2>it's like, what is that? And that's when it knew
<v Speaker 2>we were there and it came after us.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, well it's very possible. And grizzly bears will do
<v Speaker 1>that too. If it doesn't matter if you're in the water,
<v Speaker 1>if they want to get you, they'll get in the
<v Speaker 1>water and swim towards you.
<v Speaker 2>I've never heard of a bear doing that. I've even
<v Speaker 2>looked up tried to look up online over the years.
<v Speaker 2>You know different animals that would do that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I don't think a black I'll do that, but
<v Speaker 1>grizzly bears will if they're hunting something, so I feel
<v Speaker 1>like the sasquatch would as well.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'm glad black bear want do stuff like that
<v Speaker 2>because I don't want to worry about that.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah, I don't blame it.
<v Speaker 2>They're not that bad. I don't guess. I said, I've
<v Speaker 2>seen those out in the woods and they don't bother
<v Speaker 2>me that much. Just yeah, I've just never had I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I've spent all my life out in the wizard just
<v Speaker 2>never had anything chase me.

<v Speaker 1>the lake with purpose and intent. These encounters leave more

<v Speaker 1>their children out there. People have no idea that these

<v Speaker 1>It's very taboo, and we need your help in like
<v Speaker 1>what's going on here because we can't do this alone.
