South Laurel High School has a KSR club, a group of kids that get together and they listen to KSR and then they also have a broadcasting team, and the school approved a field trip for them to come watch the show tomorrow, eat lunch here. Uh. If I was in school, that would have been the greatest field trip all time, to get out of school to come to Lexington from London and sit and watch a sports radio show and eat lunch at a sports bar. What an awesome trip. And they're gonna be here tomorrow.

You have Abraham Lincoln and then you have the Big Boy and have that in your yard. So anyway, I noticed that as well. And then the other thing. Last night, I watched a lot of sports. My Canes came back and beat the San Jose Sharks, which was a nice win. I watched Tennessee play and then Arkansas with I can't remember the coach's name, okay, John John cal Perry. He was down fifteen in the first half, then he got up eighteen in the second half and then nearly lost at the end. It was an amazing roller coaster of emotions and then when it was over, he was barking like a dog.

So the SEC now right, as of right now, Joe Lenardi has twelve of the sixteen teams in the tournament and one on the bubble, so basically thirteen of the sixteen teams. I mean, this is kind of one of the last two stinky games. Kentucky's a thirty point favorite against Colegate. But Drew, you wrote a story which came from the Colgate official site. I think is really neat about tonight and sort of the what BBN is and etc. So tell people what you saw about the Colgate profess.

Speaker 5: Yeah, this was on Colgate Athletics, so you can get all the details there, but I kind of summarized it and send people that way on our site where there's a guy, a professor at Colgate who passed away last year from woods. He's originally from Ashland, but he loved Kentucky basketball, and he had been teaching at Colgate for twenty years and just over time embraced Colgate basketball. So those were like his two teams. But he'd go to practices, he started a program with student athletes. I mean everyone just knew him as the basketball guy, but that he'll also liked Kentucky. So then the coach, knowing that the story says, has been trying to schedule Kentucky verse Colgate for this professor for I said several attempts the last few years and couldn't get it done to this year, but unfortunately he passed away with cancer a year ago. So Colgates bringing his family. His son is a Colgate recent graduate. The whole family's flying with the team and going to the game to see.

It didn't get to happen while he was alive, but now it gets to happen tonight. His family's gonna be there. That's very cool. You know, I understand that they have a lot of things they have to do. It would be neat if Kentucky could find a way to acknowledge the family or something throughout the game, because that's you know, he's he's not with us anymore. But what a what a cool story, and again another example of how Big Blue Nation sort of.

His job is going to be to make sure that after I give the exam that they don't cheat. Now here's the thing, Mario, you gotta watch these people, all right, sneaky. They're sneaky.

He did some interviews yesterday with the press, and I just thought, I don't think my man's ready for this now. To be fair, he probably woke up that morning in Al Tuna didn't think this was gonna happen to right, But I would just say, look up Luigi's lawyer. I think their women's basketball team has gotten better. I don't think you're gonna be able to continue that, Prepper. I do think schools are probably gonna have have to to choose. Now. Well, the way I think they're gonna have to choose is based on how much of the revenue share they give to each sport, Like what percentage of that twenty two million dollars do they choose to give to each sport? But I think it will be very, very difficult to be good at all of them. I mean, UK's trying to be good at all of them, right, like UK's put you know, trying to be in place to be good at all of them. But right I just think practically speaking, you're probably gonna have to pick football and one or two others and then hope that the rest works itself out.
