00:00:00 Speaker 1: I told yeah, I said yoga, I said, hey, stop doing biceps because you know you're too strong, too big, and when you when you hit the ball the ball, that's why the ball doesn't go in the air. 00:00:16 Speaker 2: And the weeds is powered by arena club. Use that code foul get yourself twenty percent off your first slab pack or card purchase. 00:00:24 Speaker 3: Let's get into trade deadline topics. 00:00:26 Speaker 4: Already, yes, already. 00:00:28 Speaker 2: The Athletic has a big board that they're going to keep updating top thirty players that could be dealt in a post Raphdeale Tever's trade world. That they started by saying, that's probably gonna be the biggest one, but here are some other names that stand out, and they mostly picked players from teams who have less than a thirty percent chance of making the playoffs. So the first name on their board was actually a Boston Red Sox in Jaron Duran. So here's what we're gonna do. Thumbs up or thumbs down if you think the player does get traded, And if you want to throw any ideas out there or a ball club, then we'll take that too. I actually think there are quite a few teams that could use outfielder slash centerfielder. We're going to talk about another centerfielder coming up in. 00:01:10 Speaker 3: A sec. 00:01:12 Speaker 5: Maybe up or down. 00:01:13 Speaker 3: Well, first off, do you think he'll get traded? 00:01:15 Speaker 6: No, okay, Krats, Yes, if he gets if he gets paired with an Eraldus Chapman to a team like the Phillies, who's willing to who's willing to go big. 00:01:31 Speaker 2: On it, that's that's like full full sale mode for the Red Sox. That would be like completely wiping out their season if they're in striking distance at that point. But you think they'll pull that up because I think Krats, the Red Sox can try to make a case that they're still opening up outfield playing time and maybe they acquire a piece back that helps them, like a pitcher. You're going for the full jugular. Hey, they're getting rid of their closer and Duran as a long term piece. 00:02:03 Speaker 6: The easy route. The easy route is to say, oh, well, we got to figure out a way to dump Yoshida, and maybe they just say, you know what, we're still just a five hundred team. We can get value from this guy and we have replacements for him. 00:02:20 Speaker 2: Question for you, if it's just Duran and you brought up the Phillies. Duran's will for me, I know, but Kratz is a yes. So what about Duran to the Phillies for one of their young starters, like Nick Abel. 00:02:34 Speaker 5: Phillies won't do that. 00:02:37 Speaker 6: That's two. I mean Andrew Paynter, from what I've heard, is untouchable. 00:02:44 Speaker 3: What about Abel? 00:02:45 Speaker 6: I think ab is? I think Abel is there. I think it would have to be. You know, it would have to line up where Nola's back, where who's been durable. I get it, you're you're durable until you're not. But I think Nick Abel is a big league pitch. It doesn't. That's not enough. That doesn't get it done. I think you need I think you need more than that. But I also think the Phillies know, Hey, he's much more valuable now that he's in the big leagues and he's throwing well than he was just this great hope from Triple A. 00:03:18 Speaker 3: Next up, Freddy Peralta. 00:03:20 Speaker 5: No, you get free agent into the year. 00:03:24 Speaker 2: No, No, there's a club option for eight million bucks next year. 00:03:27 Speaker 6: Don't pick it up. 00:03:27 Speaker 3: Eight million, That's what I'm saying. 00:03:29 Speaker 7: Up but they and they might trade him next year. 00:03:33 Speaker 5: They're not trading them this year. 00:03:34 Speaker 3: They might even trade them in the off season this year. 00:03:37 Speaker 6: No, I agree, Crats, not a chance, I say zero. 00:03:43 Speaker 2: Yeah, man, he's high up on this board. But I'm with you. I'm like, no, I don't see it. I get what you're saying with the Brewers and trying to maximize value and they have to keep staying afloat if they don't want to rebuild. 00:03:54 Speaker 3: But nah, off season. 00:03:57 Speaker 6: Kind of for me, is he the best available if Sandy up Coontra just kind of stays. If he if he stays hot like he has his last three starts, then it's Sandy in the offseason. But I mean, Freddy's Freddy's a good one be choice. I mean, I think he might even be better than Sandy. 00:04:16 Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll take Freddy overany right now. 00:04:18 Speaker 6: Because he's done it for so long. 00:04:20 Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll take Breddy over Sandy. 00:04:22 Speaker 5: Right I've been traded this year? 00:04:24 Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, next up, here's another center fielder for you, Cedric Mullins. 00:04:29 Speaker 3: Big. 00:04:29 Speaker 5: Yes, especially he's having a good year. 00:04:33 Speaker 2: Yes, he's going to be very impactful too. He's got pop, he's got speed, he's got elite defense. 00:04:40 Speaker 3: Good Cratz, give him to the Phillies. 00:04:42 Speaker 6: Ah, you can't have everybody to go to the Phillies. I like that his card is is right handed, and he doesn't hit right handed ANYMOREO hits left handed. But but I think there's I think there's a lot of options because wherever he goes, you know, Detroit, he can play. Think of the field, think of the parks that have larger outfields. You don't need him just to play center field. He can run the bases. He could. I honestly thought if they fell out of it, or when the Oriels fell out of it and the Diamondbacks were still in, I thought he could have been just because the way he runs the bases and everything. They'd find a spot for him somehow. 00:05:22 Speaker 2: What do you think about the Mets centerfield centerfielder. He's an upgrade over Tyron Taylor, Tiron Taylor's nice bench. I don't know, but still I'd way rather have Cedric Mullins, much better offensive player, comparable defensively, So I think that could be a spot for him. There are a few teams that could use the center field upgrade like that. Cedric Mullins is really good. 00:05:47 Speaker 6: Sandy's a no for me. 00:05:49 Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the last one for now. 00:05:52 Speaker 4: Because I just don't think the marl. 00:05:53 Speaker 5: I think this is an off season. 00:05:54 Speaker 3: Trade, even if he deals for the next. 00:05:58 Speaker 5: An off season trade. 00:06:01 Speaker 2: Can I try and make a case that there's such a kratzword dearth of starting pitchers available that would pitch a playoff game for you, that his value increases right now because of the desperation by some teams that he could win a playoff game for you. My thing is, at the trade deadline, is this a playoff starter or not? If we get the version of Sandy the last couple of times where he has made adjustments and obviously he's shut down some weaker opponents, but if this continues, he's pitching a playoff game for you and there are teams that need that. 00:06:33 Speaker 3: Does that help sell the case at all? 00:06:35 Speaker 5: I still think it's an offseason trade. 00:06:37 Speaker 3: Because you think that he needs to just show more for. 00:06:41 Speaker 5: Before the teams are going to give up too much. 00:06:45 Speaker 6: Average velocity is two down. I don't say he needs the full season to get the value, because that contract is nice. Whoever picks that up, it's nice, and you still have it in the offseason. 00:06:56 Speaker 2: So I'm gonna know our resident GM Jim Bowden put out an article recently and said Cubs could be a good spot. 00:07:04 Speaker 5: Yeah. 00:07:05 Speaker 4: Yeah, he fits good everywhere because it affordable. 00:07:08 Speaker 3: So yeah, I'm against you. 00:07:10 Speaker 5: Guys, Rockies could even take them. 00:07:13 Speaker 2: I think he gets traded. Guys, Rockies are hot, Yeah, Rocky, Sure, I think he gets traded. Okay, fastball command was the big issue, right, which happens to guy's post TJ And sometimes it takes like a year, but it's already looking like it's getting better working both sides of the plate walk right, going down recently, I think he gets dealt all right, that's four. Let us know your thoughts. If you saw this and you are very against us, go for it. Let us know your thoughts on if you think these players are going to get traded or not, and any other ideas on teams where they can go. Props to Arena Club arenaclub dot com. Slash foul use the code foul for twenty percent off your first slab pack or card purchase. You know the deal you're buying, you're selling, you're trading, you're getting a slab pack. And if you get something you don't like, here, I'll. 00:08:00 Speaker 3: Show you an example. So I just pulled this. 00:08:03 Speaker 2: I was on Arena Club, and I pulled a prospect that I don't know a lot about, to be honest, but I got a decent offer back for it, so can we show it? 00:08:15 Speaker 3: There? It is? So I pulled a gold pack, right, and here's the prospect boom? 00:08:23 Speaker 5: Who is it? 00:08:25 Speaker 2: Helped me on the name because it's not a prospect that I knew a lot about. Actually, hold on, I can see it on my phone. 00:08:32 Speaker 6: Kevin Conticello. 00:08:34 Speaker 3: There we go, Auto great card. 00:08:37 Speaker 2: But I'm just like, hey, I want to take the money back and buy another slab pack. Instant offer sixty seven bucks boom, press one button, sixty seven bucks in the account. 00:08:47 Speaker 3: I can use it to. 00:08:47 Speaker 2: Buy a different card or a slab pack. So it's that easy. It's just instant offer boom. Here we go, Junior Caminaro joining us right. 00:08:54 Speaker 3: Now on foul Territory. 00:08:56 Speaker 2: We're excited for this and we'll also get some help here from Eddie Rodriguez who will be interpreting. So Junior, great to have you on. Thank you for the time, and same to you, Eddie, thank you for the time. 00:09:08 Speaker 8: Thank you for having us. 00:09:10 Speaker 2: Okay, I want to start with an epic comeback from the race. You do not get to see this often. So can you take us through what that was like? When you're down eight nothing early on, your team catches up in five minutes. The offense has been on fire, Junior. What kind of conversations go on in a dugout when a team's down that bad and comes back that quickly? 00:09:33 Speaker 9: No, no, no, no, so wan. 00:09:52 Speaker 8: I go okay, ma. 00:10:01 Speaker 1: And we pretty much we never gave up. We kept our heads high. You know, it was hard coming from down from a zero, but we kept our focus and our head on our shoulders, and we were able to get that game. 00:10:16 Speaker 5: Okay, I gotta asked. 00:10:17 Speaker 7: First of all, rookies must be built different right now, junior, because your house behind you, your cassa. Oh, when I was a rookie, I barely had a room to sleep in. I mean, he's got to look at that thing. 00:10:29 Speaker 8: Your dad, Ye, your dad. 00:10:34 Speaker 1: I'm in the living room of the house. 00:10:36 Speaker 6: Yeah, we didn't have I didn't have a living room. No, I was a rookie. 00:10:40 Speaker 4: Oh no, no, bray all right. Second, Noah Noah is the dog name. I have a dog name. Oh, I have a dog named Noah too. 00:10:56 Speaker 7: Oh all right, So then I got to asked, because before we get into the game, I know we already jumped into it, but your eyebrows, I gotta I gotta do that. 00:11:03 Speaker 4: I gotta do I gotta figure out how to do that. 00:11:10 Speaker 8: Yeah, no, that's so. That's so. 00:11:29 Speaker 1: It was just natural. I go to the barber Shoup and I tell the Barbara, Hey, just do it straight, because if you don't, I'm gonna have to shave all of them. 00:11:36 Speaker 7: So perfect. All right, now, let's go to the game yesterday four for five for you yesterday. And I watched a lot of this game because it was an amazing comeback. But you had a celebration for every hit, and then you have a handshake for every teammate. How do you remember all the celebrations and all the handshakes every guy that you have different. 00:12:02 Speaker 9: Legal prerano Kipron, you know, so. 00:12:24 Speaker 8: The same pre jud m okay. 00:12:37 Speaker 9: Okando your logo U. 00:12:47 Speaker 1: They were like you, how can I explain? You know, it's we're having fun and I just go out there and we have our our our handshakes and whatnot, and it's it's all about having having fun. Right now, we're playing very well. I told Josh Lowe, you know, and seeing him like the way he was having fun yesterday during the game. You know, it's something that we're trying to do our best and we're playing hard, and it's it's shown. 00:13:23 Speaker 6: What's what stadium is harder to hit in steime Brenner or Tropacana Field. 00:13:33 Speaker 8: No, I remember that. 00:13:36 Speaker 1: I I I like Tropicana better because there's no song there. But we are taking the the advantage at steime Brenner because when the ball on say it's gonna get out, it will get out. 00:14:00 Speaker 6: Do you take different swings at Steinbrenner? Do you take do you make do you try to go because because you can go everywhere? You got popped the left to right, the center. But I watched some games where it looks like you are really trying to stay inside the ball and go to right field and you get the ball up in the air. 00:14:17 Speaker 8: There, yes, and NOOI okay, the comor cared in the air and the air and so yeah, you don't get the poque. 00:14:52 Speaker 6: Ye. 00:14:57 Speaker 1: No, I just I tried to hit the pitch for his sad, but I was I've been working with getting the ball more in the air, and working with water and and and Brady and also Cashi. So he's always telling me, you know, just to put the ball in the air. And within the past three weeks by doing that, I've had like nine home runs. So that's what that's what we're working on. 00:15:18 Speaker 4: All right, Moto Mattola doesn't know anything. 00:15:20 Speaker 6: You can tell. 00:15:22 Speaker 8: The only thing. 00:15:24 Speaker 4: A lift wing. 00:15:28 Speaker 8: What strong? 00:15:29 Speaker 9: Yeah? 00:15:31 Speaker 6: Yeah, all right. 00:15:32 Speaker 7: So you're talking about hitting home runs, All Star Game, home run Derby. You get to the All Star Game, which would be awesome for you. 00:15:40 Speaker 5: Would you do the home run derby. 00:16:00 Speaker 9: Where okayo want jo per no? 00:16:18 Speaker 1: If I get selected and they give me the opportunity, yes, you know, I'm not gonna say that I'm gonna win, but I'm gonna put a great show for the fans and it's gonna be entertained. 00:16:29 Speaker 3: That's awesome. Have they called. 00:16:34 Speaker 9: No, no, no, no, yo you be okay man, okay my mandado participate like okay. 00:16:55 Speaker 8: Ya. 00:16:57 Speaker 5: No. 00:16:58 Speaker 1: Nobody has called someone friends, they send me something that they saw that they will be posted that they wanted some of the young guys in the game to be a part of it. Oh, my lawyer Rapha, he called them. But nobody has called me. But if they gave me the chance and they see these interview I want to go. 00:17:25 Speaker 4: We'll make sure they see it. We'll make sure they see it. 00:17:28 Speaker 7: Vote for yes, hell yeah Vo Virginia. All right, who's this cornerman? Who's this hype guy? 00:17:36 Speaker 4: Right? 00:17:36 Speaker 7: Because I remember David Ortiz kind of started this. He had the guy running out the Dominican flag and doing the whole thing in vlat he had his people and Nelson Cruz and all these guys is from Dominican have had like their hype guys. So who's Junior's hype guy going to be for the All Star Game? You know, giving him the massage, feeding the gatorade. 00:17:59 Speaker 8: The poppy. 00:18:01 Speaker 1: You look any. 00:18:07 Speaker 8: Famila my familiar. 00:18:14 Speaker 9: Yeah, pero okay, primos in Okaya, the primo missta pero sei he's in boy last away o compa perro boy missta Yes, okay, okay, if I go mano mano, Mama rupa, your being your low upon. 00:19:00 Speaker 1: My family, you know most of all, and maybe a cousin I know that is going to be there. Do you have like some other people? No, no, no, no no no. 00:19:35 Speaker 1: My dad is very bad at that. But we'll take Tomas. He's one of our coaches. 00:19:43 Speaker 3: That's good. 00:19:44 Speaker 2: Hey, what's changed with the race the last few weeks? 00:19:49 Speaker 3: Your team is on fire? What are you seeing? 00:19:55 Speaker 5: You? 00:19:57 Speaker 9: You know and welcome with Juano? Look actually look one Thoret Tremendo and keep. 00:20:29 Speaker 8: Level. Want to make like you ab. 00:20:40 Speaker 1: I really haven't seen anything different. The only thing I can say is that we are taking the opportunities that are given to us. We're taking advantage of those and you know, our pitching stuff, they've they've been doing a great job. 00:20:53 Speaker 3: You know that. 00:20:54 Speaker 1: Probably he didn't have a very good start yesterday, but we were able to pick him up. And that's what good teams do, and that's that's what we've been doing, you know, just taking a pantish of the opportunities that are giving to us. 00:21:06 Speaker 7: Okay, you guys are playing You guys are playing great. So you guys are hottest fire. So two things before you go. One, did you got to meet Lebron Right last time we had you on, you said you're going to the Lakers. 00:21:16 Speaker 4: Game.
