The 40k Lorecast

On today’s cast we dive into a listener requested topic “where are the Primarchs now.” We decided to do the first cast on the traitor Primarchs. We open with a quick bit on Horus, but then move onto a much longer coverage of Konrad Curze. Then a recap of Mortarian from our Typhus casts, followed by a deeper dive into Peturabo & Angron. Then we go through another quick recap of Magnus from our Ahriman cast. Then a deep dive against Brad’s objections into Lorgar, and close with a long bit on Alpharius.

[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the Forty K-Lorecast.
[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to Forty K. Lorcaz with me, John Barsodium, Brad Jester.
[SPEAKER_01]: This guy.
[SPEAKER_01]: And today's cast we're doing a quick listener requested focus.
[SPEAKER_01]: Why do you discuss the next one on the current state of all the primarks?
[SPEAKER_00]: Where are they now?
[SPEAKER_01]: Where are they now?
[SPEAKER_01]: There's a terrible show.
[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, I think you meant to say an awesome show.
[SPEAKER_01]: Do you just depressing?
[SPEAKER_00]: What?
[SPEAKER_00]: I told you, we talked about Flacca's Seagulls last week.
[SPEAKER_01]: Pressing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway.
[SPEAKER_01]: So today, we're going to do the traders next week with the loyalists.
[SPEAKER_01]: Some of these are really easy, like Horace and others me a little bit longer.
[SPEAKER_01]: As always, please like and comment in the cast.
[SPEAKER_01]: Their comments and your likes are really helping boost us.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's broadening our audience and new members, which is cool for us and we're reaching out a lot further.
[SPEAKER_01]: So all you have to do is just hit the thumb up and write nice comment.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you got some time.
[SPEAKER_00]: And thank you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: We also want always promote our discord here.
[SPEAKER_01]: If we've built this discord over a year ago to be a place, you can just kind of interact.
[SPEAKER_01]: Ideally, it was really meant for us to interact with you and then we lost control of that thing pretty quickly and everyone started talking to each other and that was even better.
[SPEAKER_01]: So now we've got like, thirty five hundred members who were in there talking to each other, helping each other, really building it up.
[SPEAKER_01]: And can you do the shout out?
[SPEAKER_01]: I do the shout out.
[SPEAKER_01]: We also have some mods who then took over really ran this thing and turned into a much better, easier to function in community.
[SPEAKER_01]: Kevin, Maisie, Brian, Ethan, who spells his name wrong.
[SPEAKER_01]: Steve, Ryan, Trevor, and David.
[SPEAKER_01]: You guys are incredible.
[SPEAKER_01]: If it wasn't for them, I probably would have burned this thing down.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, those you don't understand.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there are thousands of interactions at this thing daily.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it is.
[SPEAKER_01]: I would have just deleted it off the internet then dealt with it.
[SPEAKER_01]: So they stepped up and took it over and it's amazing.
[SPEAKER_01]: So please, if you're looking for a place to interact around Forty Kay, come join our discord.
[SPEAKER_01]: You go to the about in the show.
[SPEAKER_01]: You'll see a link to it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, our discord, we have a link to our new website and to our Patreon.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Patreon exists just if you guys like what we're doing and you want to help us improve the quality.
[SPEAKER_01]: Pay audio, pay the audio engineer, do all these little things.
[SPEAKER_01]: It goes a long way and that's where we spend it.
[SPEAKER_00]: We've got merchandise.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we also have a website that's got merchandise on it now.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's finally up and running correctly.
[SPEAKER_01]: You can buy sweatshirts and t-shirts and dice and underwear.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's underwear.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that was super weird.
[SPEAKER_01]: There was no way I wasn't going to make it.
[SPEAKER_00]: I saw that as a lake, of course.
[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, it's right here.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for the record, it's only because they didn't make a banana hammock.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's zero percent chance I wouldn't have made a forty-day lower cast banana hammock if I could have.
[SPEAKER_01]: I like it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just been the you would have to.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, lastly in the website, there's a link to Brad's coaching services.
[SPEAKER_01]: Thirty years of playing the game over ten years of coaching experience.
[SPEAKER_01]: Brad's really a great source for anyone who's looking to get into the game or just improve the game overall.
[SPEAKER_01]: He does, you can hear his personality in the cast, Brad enjoy things and he really enjoys people and being helpful to them.
[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're looking for help in coaching, Brad is there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you can go to our website, click the link.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to discord, click the link or we can keep messing with his spam filter.
[SPEAKER_00]: My email is just
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting my treat together.
[SPEAKER_00]: You can't see it.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's the thing I do every time old man, Brad, for he can't gmail.com.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting the sign on it because I have gotten even, I don't know if we, they're listening to it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: God, I'm getting destroyed.
[SPEAKER_01]: The amount of bots who just heard that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: And you are just crushing my name.
[SPEAKER_01]: You are getting so many timeshare.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to weed through.
[SPEAKER_00]: If you haven't heard back from me, said me another one, it literally does get lost.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's make you do one.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just it's it's so hard right now, dude.
[SPEAKER_00]: I get so nonsense.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're obvious spots to it's not even close.
[SPEAKER_00]: So like, hello, fellow human.
[SPEAKER_00]: I am going.
[SPEAKER_01]: I have important information for you about the crypto.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's just crazy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Before anything, we're actually all real people trying to capture Thursday.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just didn't have good English.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, Brad's like, no, no, click.
[SPEAKER_01]: No.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, if you have that, that your English is strong enough for me to coach.
[SPEAKER_01]: My English is strong enough.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the point.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's dive into this and just start with an easy one of the primarx Horace Lupercall.
[SPEAKER_01]: Horace is dead.
[SPEAKER_00]: Horace is like super.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's a big thing that we see this though, because when the emperor
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a big thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: You like to use it.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of your favorite phrase.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a big thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is a big thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Horace's dead.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's the only person that got his soul body in mind and spirit cleaved out of existence.
[SPEAKER_01]: What bearings I'd have in for me first.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's a pretty big deal.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's I don't know if you heard about it.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's the warm master.
[SPEAKER_01]: But right now in the current in the current state of the Lord.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you're not rising him up.
[SPEAKER_01]: They call you in my bunch.
[SPEAKER_01]: They tried.
[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't go well.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but that was.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Avenue does have his claw.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Avenue has a power claw.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's also if you try to clone what's left of course, Abadan will show up in your house.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and have a talk with you.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he did.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's not a big fan of it.
[SPEAKER_01]: But all I'm saying is they for doing this is a where are they now?
[SPEAKER_01]: He's dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's where he's now.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's actually the most dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Speaking of dead, Conrad Curse refused to fix this.
[SPEAKER_01]: We apologize again for those of you who are very, well, I apologize, Brad doesn't.
[SPEAKER_01]: For those of you who are very big fans of Conrad Curse, and we call them Conrad Cruz for twelve episodes, for four episodes.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm still in them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, anyway, just because we read it wrong and didn't want to deal with it.
[SPEAKER_00]: I've read thirty years of a fluff and his novels and still columnar.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but let's go into curse because it actually he does have a bit more influence on the overall modern.
[SPEAKER_01]: So during the heresy, the nightlords ended up kind of forging their own path in support of the rebellion.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they got told to go harass people.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and they that really.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and that was it.
[SPEAKER_01]: They were sent to go, hey, I need to do a harassed dark angels because Horace knew that
[SPEAKER_01]: Horace knew they were never going to beat the Dark Angels, but Horace knew that the Night Lords could at least keep the Dark Angels from interrupting his shit.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because the night hunter was going to just trash places.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the problem though is that once the night hunter got there, he just decided to party for lack of a better phrase.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't think the people have those planets thought it was a party.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, that wasn't.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that it was a nightmare if everyone involved.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: But for Cursi, he just was like, all right, I'm just going to go ahead.
[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, the twenty four hour screaming that you couldn't turn off in your plan.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's an all your stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was good.
[SPEAKER_01]: But what did happen though, this work cursed that more important is that he was the ultimate antagonist of the lion.
[SPEAKER_01]: because the lion is watching happen is getting furious, but curves will not meet him in combat.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just keeps running away at the last stage.
[SPEAKER_00]: The lion's trying to do the whole, awful neutral stand and fight.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Cruz is like, I'm gonna go pinch the guy.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm running away.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's also like beat up the guy in the cafeteria.
[SPEAKER_00]: You're like, what?
[SPEAKER_00]: We're supposed to fight here.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, yeah, instead I beat up the lunch lady.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because I didn't want to fight you because you're totally hit by us.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, it did eventually work out for the lion and that he did capture Conrad.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and how did that work out?
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it took a bit.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Conrad was teleported onto the lion's ship.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I'm saying.
[SPEAKER_01]: Round his ship, killing all of his friends until he eventually got captured.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean,
[SPEAKER_00]: To be, to be fair, I'm using that right away.
[SPEAKER_00]: The, the line G man and saying winners after they had the knife.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's later.
[SPEAKER_00]: What I'm saying.
[SPEAKER_00]: I know, but I'm saying it like they did a comical James Bond thing of we could kill him or we could just turn away and make it'll never, ever do anything.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's definitely not going to escape.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well,
[SPEAKER_00]: All right, so that is a hundred percent.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, what they did was that with sanguineus did it.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get there in a bit, but sanguineus did because he was like, all right, this is your fake.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there's your feet.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to shoot you in a pot at the middle of this.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, I'm going to escape so soon.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, peace out.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, but just peace out.
[SPEAKER_01]: I got to go to help the Emperor just shut up.
[SPEAKER_01]: So an important thing about Conrax, we haven't covered him yet, is he was a pre-cog.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he could see the future, but he was kind of shit at it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it wasn't a shit, and he also had, he's a pre-con.
[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, I don't like Con read that much, Brad.
[SPEAKER_01]: And you're going to hear this in our tone.
[SPEAKER_00]: Conrad is a pre-cog that gets mind-shattering visions.
[SPEAKER_00]: He gets shitty visions of the future.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I like how you made it something like it was a good thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's a bad pre-cog.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he's also a crazy person.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's a bad pre-cog.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what makes you a crazy person.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's kind of... It's right now.
[SPEAKER_01]: Is it?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Is it?
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I can see the future.
[SPEAKER_01]: You can.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, not the future future, just kind of the future.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, even if then he just kind of extrapolates that and goes,
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I'm a hundred percent sure that this is going to happen.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, maybe.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, his vision of the future is a one or two second glimpse of the future, and he's trying to infer everything off of it.
[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway,
[SPEAKER_01]: Conrad though, he was, so he's a pre-cog, his number one vision he had very early was his own death at the hands of an assassin and the death of his legion at the hands of his face Marines, of all those face Marines.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he was really determined to never have that happen.
[SPEAKER_01]: by setting, I'll say, by attacking the appearance, by setting up the appearance and having his troops constantly fight other space marines.
[SPEAKER_01]: What?
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not a fan.
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, wily coyotes, super genius.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: The issue for him is that at a certain point, when we talk about this, in my opinion, Conrad just shifted over from, I'm going to make these visions I'm seeing, not true, to let's just get this over with.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of what I thought it had like, I really think he went with originally, because in the early parts, in the early novels, he was, he wanted to fight that, that being his future.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he was trying to change it, then he felt it was inevitable.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I think,
[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's just trying to accelerate it near the end.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, no, he will.
[SPEAKER_00]: He completely does.
[SPEAKER_00]: He makes his own, he made that happen.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he took his legion and said, how about we go fight the best legion that exists?
[SPEAKER_01]: That's not even that.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's so deaf.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we'll get to that little bit.
[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, and we'll do a cast and I loads the future.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a very, very popular trilogy, which is, you know, enough to definitely do a cast or two on, but you're kind of, I was hearing my tone and my love of that trilogy.
[SPEAKER_01]: I will be excited if not.
[SPEAKER_01]: Brad's super into it.
[SPEAKER_01]: I just find it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Plus the first book is basically alien.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the writing's really good.
[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't find him as much of a protagonist as the book tries to make him out to be.
[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, he's crazy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Curse decides that he's just going on, he's basically Drew Carrey S. Graeds.
[SPEAKER_01]: And remember, that Drew Carrey do not exist in the, in the, uh, Imperium at this stage.
[SPEAKER_01]: So this is M. thirty one or two.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's the, the Drew Carrey.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're, you know, they're in the web way.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're, they're just doing little bits of raids here and there, but a lot of that, that this stage, the Drew Carrey as we covered last time, we're actually mostly doing crappy stuff to each other.
[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't laid to later.
[SPEAKER_01]: They started actually branching out of the web way because they were terrified.
[SPEAKER_01]: The part of this that actually gets funny to me is Kers also totally screws over Horus with this process.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Horus sends Kers out there not just to harass the Dark Angels, but to also conquer worlds for him.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he's supposed to be conquering basically supply defos logistic.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just and instead, kind of, well, it makes it super hard for the Dark Angels, but also makes it completely not great for Horus because
[SPEAKER_00]: Dark angels can't lock them down because he has his forces everywhere, but they're not doing anything.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're just murdering.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they're not they're not they're supposed to be locking down these supplies.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, let's just fix that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, in doing all this thing or even disrupting and all he's doing is like
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just going to put all of my people in twenty different systems and just screw with everybody.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, no, no, that's screw with people.
[SPEAKER_01]: All of my people in twenty different systems and murder everyone in those systems.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Horace is like, yeah, but I need to like a gun shipment and I was like, oh, yeah, we killed every pilot on the planet.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we mounted guns on their heads, though.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, that's kind of fun, right?
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's cool.
[SPEAKER_01]: We need statues with them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're just crazy.
[SPEAKER_00]: So you're just crazy.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I did.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it was bad for the line though, because none of the shit he's doing makes all of the, sorry, all of the things he's doing makes zero sense.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he's having a hard time locking him down.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, why would you do any of this?
[SPEAKER_01]: Because it makes any sense.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's no, there's no logistical purpose for this in Congress in Congress, in Congress, but he's like, yeah, exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: Psychopath.
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, effectively, Congress,
[SPEAKER_01]: The only person who benefits from this is Conrad, is because he's just going more and more crazy by the day, and he's just murdering people, which is what he wants to do, and his legion wants to do.
[SPEAKER_01]: So there's that, but over time, his legion, because it starts to fall apart.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they devolved into war events, which is the relevance of where we're going today is he made them become, one of the first actually lesions that's just disparate war bands.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're night lords, but they're, yeah, there's no, they're night lords are not organized in any way, shape or form.
[SPEAKER_01]: So eventually, the fun sort of, this is the emperor, is the one who sends the assassins after and just says, get them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, fact, definitely.
[SPEAKER_01]: They said, fifty percent of all Caledus assassins into the galaxy with one purpose.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that is to kill Conrad.
[SPEAKER_01]: Conrad, say on Red Curse, you did it.
[SPEAKER_00]: I heard a little bit inside them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so moving forward a little bit at the end of the heresy when Horace dies.
[SPEAKER_01]: The night lords are to Brad's point.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's an independent body of not there.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're big now.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not like there's like four guys.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm saying they're independent.
[SPEAKER_00]: I just want to say that there's still
[SPEAKER_00]: Those are tonics.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's there's war bands aren't like ten in his three guys with them.
[SPEAKER_00]: These are still large.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's just not a legion.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just stressing because the legions at this time were just so bad.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they were and what actually that's it's a good point you made there because what happens is the night lords.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, they fought the dark anyone took some losses, but they didn't do the siege of terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, so they didn't take the big hits there.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they just decided this point just to start spreading out throughout the galaxy, whereas as we'll cover with a lot of the other chaos legions, they fled back to the eye of terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: The nightlor was just like, yeah, there's nothing there that's cool.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to stay over here and just kill things.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you basically had a legion of serial killers.
[SPEAKER_00]: Weird.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Keep taking people from that prison planet, but whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, the curse actually, at this point, did, rejoin, did join his legion on some of these raids, which is why it's funny that as all the other primarks are rushing into the eye of death, all the most are rushing into the eye of terror, curse is just, like she grabs the guys and goes, no, let's go this way and party and it gets worse and all candor, like it's anyone on any, all the fringe worlds of the Imperium are just getting, I mean, Drew Card is a better way of putting it.
[SPEAKER_00]: And we have to go into read the book.
[SPEAKER_00]: The book server, I really like the book.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I want to get rid of the books are well written.
[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm sorry, there's no way he gets captured effectively twice.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and we'll cover that.
[SPEAKER_01]: We do the night.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's what we're going to.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're ending him.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he gets caught escapes caught.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's just do it.
[SPEAKER_01]: So real quick, he gets caught by Gilliman, Sanguineus, and the line.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the line.
[SPEAKER_01]: They all, they're really torturing.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, but what happens is out of the group, Sanguineus is the one who realizes that curse actually is a precar.
[SPEAKER_01]: Gilliman and the lion are kind of, they believe it, but they're living with it.
[SPEAKER_00]: He does actually.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Knight Hunter accidentally does good for the Imperium because he talks shit about the fact that they're currently going to terror, which at that point in time, they didn't know.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, fun story.
[SPEAKER_01]: Basically, Gilliman, the lion, and Senglingus didn't know the Emperor was alive at this day, because they actually thought Horace had already won.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is well before the siege of Tara, and because of curse, they realized they realized, oh, he's alive, and they actually pulled their resources to make it so Senglingus could get back to Tara.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's the only reason he made it back there, and I would do didn't.
[SPEAKER_01]: But Senglingus, before he does this, shoots cut.
[SPEAKER_01]: Cruz got saying, going to get shoots curves in like a pod and just says, well, I believe this is that's also the second time.
[SPEAKER_00]: But whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: So what he effectively said was, I believe that what you think is going to come true is going to come true.
[SPEAKER_01]: So there's no point in me killing you right now.
[SPEAKER_01]: Good luck that assassin will deal with you later.
[SPEAKER_00]: In my mind, he was petting his white cat.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is James Bond villain and goes, we could shoot him in the head right now.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And instead they went,
[SPEAKER_01]: No one guys have a great story except for the fact the billions of imperial citizens who died because because rejoined his legion for a while and went on a murdered portrait hunt.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, we'll get into that.
[SPEAKER_00]: We do the night.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's eventually.
[SPEAKER_01]: Curses going completely.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's well written and he's but he's eventually always flagship completely going insane when M. Shen.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's super horrific of what it's actually made him, but yeah, it's important.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he gets smoked by a Caldis assassin.
[SPEAKER_01]: Probably.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was just saying maybe.
[SPEAKER_01]: GW, so GW almost never kills somebody, by the way.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll notice there's a lot of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: But when you get the vision or the story and everything, he always gives his bad guy monologue to the assassin.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then they fade to black.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and then they fade to black.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he got killed by her maybe.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and kids people don't want to read the book.
[SPEAKER_01]: All we know is that there's a vidlog showing M. Shen who's name of the assassin leaping at curves.
[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
[SPEAKER_01]: It occurs does his whole monologue.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, good news.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's entirely possible.
[SPEAKER_01]: Curse murderer.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then just, and they took her and wore her face for a while.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then's running a coffee shop somewhere.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's, it's possible.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's also insane.
[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you're a weird woman in the room back.
[SPEAKER_01]: So that's Curse.
[SPEAKER_01]: Moving on from Curse, let's jump to someone who's not dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: We've already covered before us.
[SPEAKER_01]: We can go quick.
[SPEAKER_01]: Mortarian.
[SPEAKER_01]: Mortarian, you know, post-horus heresy runs back to the eye of terror with his legion and then moped about.
[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't go full email.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, just like it.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I was the fanmortarian because, uh, how do you like Morty more than the nighthunter?
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, because I like Morty's intentions.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's a lot more than nighthunter.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just wants to torture and murder people.
[SPEAKER_01]: Morty wants to free people from the shackles of government.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it seems better.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like he's like, Morty's like, we shouldn't have emperors just telling us what to do at all times.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we should rebel against them.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Nihar is like, we should table eyeballs out.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I feel one of you.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're making it.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're making it.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're making it.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're making it.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're making it.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're making it.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're making it.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're making it.
[SPEAKER_00]: You're making it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but Morty was sad because instead of overthrowing the, you know, the evils of the world and he actually enslaved himself and his entire legion to a class guy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like forever.
[SPEAKER_00]: Morty, the, the problem with more terrain is he had, we, we talked about this in the evening.
[SPEAKER_01]: Really good intentions.
[SPEAKER_00]: Please, really good intentions.
[SPEAKER_00]: However, every time a fork in the road came or he could have made the right choice, he always made.
[SPEAKER_01]: They was useless at it.
[SPEAKER_01]: So literally, six thousand years, more terrian sets given the eye of terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: And in M. thirty six, he makes his first kind of foyer back into a four-way.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna get corrected on that because I get corrected on my speech now.
[SPEAKER_00]: I keep up on that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Give it any shit.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Facebook ones are the best.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're great.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're all accurate.
[SPEAKER_01]: So keep it coming.
[SPEAKER_00]: Also,
[SPEAKER_00]: props to the the do those explaining to us the difference between software operating was like I don't we can't talk anymore because you're so much.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, genuinely.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I actually have knowledge now.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's nothing better.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's one of like I do like this.
[SPEAKER_01]: I this funds are M. thirty six.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's an Ecclesiarchy world named Sanktah with an organization.
[SPEAKER_01]: But the organization was weird.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're slow.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Orcs are moving around.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're really slow.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're bloated.
[SPEAKER_01]: And these like sisters are bad.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll get called in and they just mop up.
[SPEAKER_01]: They work mostly because they're better than space marines as we learned in this business.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's so funny because this is such a comical
[SPEAKER_00]: Roadrunner coyote thing where the giant X is on the ground.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: These, these, these low works just are exploding into nerdlings.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I just like that.
[SPEAKER_01]: The, the, the, the scissors are shooting the orcs and the orcs are bursting open and they're full of nerdlings and then more terian arrives on the planet because they opened up the box that said not a trap.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, look, it's not a trap, guys.
[SPEAKER_01]: The reason I'm telling this story is like, it's not that great of a story, but this is very, this is important.
[SPEAKER_01]: He does this in M. thirty six.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then he goes back into the warp and doesn't appear again for five thousand.
[SPEAKER_01]: He does like trap after this.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he just like put up a W first one in six thousand years.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be back.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be back and he just disappears.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then he doesn't appear again until the time we talk about the gray nights where he kills the the gray night, uh, grandmaster, and then Drego kills him and cars said, I'm saying, Grandmaster's name.
[SPEAKER_00]: Drego doesn't just kill.
[SPEAKER_00]: He, Greg, Greg, Greg, Greg, Greg, Greg, Greg, as does what Drego does.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: But this time, Mortarian doesn't stay in the work very long.
[SPEAKER_01]: He appears again.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is where,
[SPEAKER_01]: right around when, you know, his new model came out obviously.
[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, well, it's also when the, the Nurgle became the most powerful guy for a while.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but that's what he's right.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they launched the morterian model.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: We know it's a hundred percent of that, but the destroyer plagues going through, you know what I mean?
[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is moving us, goes to modern forty k. So Gilman is resurrected next cast for doing that one.
[SPEAKER_01]: senses it and comes back and it starts raging his way back into the material.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is all happening kind of intertwined.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, Morty comes back and I think that Morty might be the most relevant.
[SPEAKER_00]: He can make the argument for anger, I will be sure to do it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, anger on some, no, Morty, Morty is the most important.
[SPEAKER_01]: Angron might be relevant because he came out and I mean, we're at time of cast if he
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, a coral engine and everything else, those are the most recent stories.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but anger on the differences that anger on in the stories always loses.
[SPEAKER_00]: Always.
[SPEAKER_00]: And every boss battle.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we always was, we're as mortarian actually in the deathguard do have a lot of success.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they make a bigger, I think, especially in eighth edition.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that that's a good story.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was all, it was all the time and Morty was coming out.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he is one of the movers and shakers of modern Forty K. So I think as far as Primarchs go, demon will go chaos.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Primarchs, he is arguably, you are.
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll put it up there.
[SPEAKER_00]: He, I think he's really
[SPEAKER_00]: Most influential?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, in the last, if we're looking at eighth, ninth and tenth edition writing, Morty's very, very prevalent, all of a sudden, especially high-ficent.
[SPEAKER_00]: I would say, if you had typhus in it, I think it's on.
[SPEAKER_01]: Typhus is still the head of the Legion, but be aware of Morty is right now.
[SPEAKER_01]: Morty took, you know, he did one thing in eleven thousand years, and he's like fifteen things since then, so he's super engaged and super involved.
[SPEAKER_00]: And also, again, it was big in the story, so I think it's a big deal for him.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's all over the galaxy right now spreading plagues.
[SPEAKER_00]: Wait, George.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's he's he any.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he's going to publish.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he's a bunch of new stories.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's popping up all over the place.
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but let's let's go at Petarabo.
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, Petarabo joined Horace's rebellion for one reason and one where isn't only.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I just stick at the roguel.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I understand how he joined Horace so much.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we're doing a good chunk and roguel darn the next one.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
[SPEAKER_01]: Roguel was a master fortification.
[SPEAKER_01]: Petra was a master of siege.
[SPEAKER_01]: They were not brothers.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm assuming there was some very childish fights he's too had, like behind the Emperor's backstitch.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, just kicking the other, everything the Emperor turned around.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing that's interesting about this is that Petra was focused on defeating Roguel.
[SPEAKER_01]: kept him loyal to Horace, almost all the way to the end, despite the fact that Pettarabo was just constantly betrayed.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he didn't even look beginning.
[SPEAKER_01]: And also just surrounded by crap, he doesn't agree with.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like, don't we, we're going to follow him story.
[SPEAKER_01]: But Pettarabo.
[SPEAKER_01]: Peter Robo joined Horace to defeat the Emperor because he did actually feel to a point other than just defeat Robo Doran, that the Imperium was going the wrong direction.
[SPEAKER_01]: The idea that the Emperor would ride with his sons into battle and conquer the galaxy and then hand the galaxy over to mortals was something that really bothered Peter Robo a lot.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so his viewpoint was that I'm standing with you Horace
[SPEAKER_01]: to show that we are the bastions of humanity, and we will save it fast forward to the night bear ships.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, four of his brothers are demon princes.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Also, you know, he got to see first.
[SPEAKER_01]: He watched each of them do this.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: He can see it firsthand, but also like a bunch of their, there's like demons walking or walking throughout the adventure.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, all those kind of things were
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's on the vengeful spirit trying to plan out like a attack and do his left.
[SPEAKER_01]: He looks up and there was just a, like, a knurgal demon just dripping on the on his battle plan.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like a certain point not really sure how much on the side of good I'm on.
[SPEAKER_00]: I should have waited wait a second, guys.
[SPEAKER_00]: And we're the bad guys.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, that's like, but, uh, rogledorons over there.
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's go.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he does in the very end bail sort of, but it's actually too late.
[SPEAKER_00]: He does, but it's after everything was, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that was, that's the, that's the problem is that he, he bales just at, basically at the siege of terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: Before the Emperor teleported on and fought in Kill Horus, Petarabo actually walked.
[SPEAKER_01]: He grabbed his legion and, and they left planet.
[SPEAKER_01]: But after this, Petarabo has this kind of moment and he realizes that it's too late for him.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but it's not too late to stick at the roguel.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm using literally correctly.
[SPEAKER_01]: He goes and literally builds a trap for the roguel dorn because that's why he wants to do.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's one big one.
[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's causing a bunch of problems for the Imperium and decides, you know what?
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to make it so roguel dorn looks really, really bad to your story.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And well,
[SPEAKER_00]: And he does this and he's not completely wrong.
[SPEAKER_00]: Is he really felt that if they didn't fracture and become so chaotic, the forces of chaos didn't become so careful.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're the forces of chaos got too chaotic and survived.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he used it a firm believer in that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like we were going to win.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's these guys.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, not my fault.
[SPEAKER_00]: Basically, if you would have followed what I said, we won.
[SPEAKER_00]: Fifty to nothing.
[SPEAKER_01]: But I like about this story that was Petarabo bit busy runs away from Tara towards the eye of Tara, which by the way, it's really hard to be sales back to back.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's always a lovely to say back.
[SPEAKER_01]: But by the way, runs away from there and then just plants and finds a planet right in the middle of it and builds this twenty square mile fortress of bunkers, mine fields, trenches, and all this stuff.
[SPEAKER_01]: And effectively writes on it, Petarabo here.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then also Doran sucks.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Doran sees it and just goes.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing this.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this thing also should have said, totally not a trap.
[SPEAKER_00]: A hundred percent with comical signs in space, pointing down going definitely.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're just hanging out here, not a care in the world.
[SPEAKER_00]: Can't believe you found our secret base.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Turns out, Dorn attacks, and the dead center of this one-t-square mile complex is just a big open field.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Dorn gets the big open field, and to stick it to Petaraba, it gets instantly attacked by the entirety of the Iron Warriors.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the story is the imperial fist, or usually are holding up dead imperial fists as shields.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's how bad this level is.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's not great.
[SPEAKER_01]: Luckily, Gilliman was nearby and said, that's obviously a trap.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it showed up to save them.
[SPEAKER_00]: But, as tough as Dorn is, and I have to give this, even though I think he's the twenty-first rank primer, he's still a bad dude in this fighting game.
[SPEAKER_00]: Dorn is one of the hardest people to kill in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: He is ruining dudes that are around him.
[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, Pettarabo, after this one, Bale's out and goes back in the eye of terror, which he actually does become elevated to a demon prince.
[SPEAKER_00]: Which is super weird to me.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is part of the writing that I've just never super okay with.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because he was anti that for like a while.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then he just went, I'm never gonna debasively gave this in this great speech.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then went, so where do I get the line to get the demon prince?
[SPEAKER_00]: Did you just say the demon prince upgrade?
[SPEAKER_00]: Just two seconds ago?
[SPEAKER_01]: Interesting about him is that we're from a lower standpoint, Petarabo now becomes this side character.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he hasn't been shit since then, but he's not know if he has.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's done.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's done.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's sorry.
[SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't done shit that moves the store exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: Petarabo.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's been a reason.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's also been widely successful on
[SPEAKER_00]: Tiny, tiny.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for those of you who don't have code X's and devaret, so the way the code X is usually written is they'll have long, multi-power graph sections talking about something, but they don't have this other little section of my favorite sections, which is just like a timeline of events.
[SPEAKER_01]: And in this, in these timeline events, it'll be like M-thirty Six.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, four, four, four, seven, M-thirty Six.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it'll be, you have this petarabbo leads an incursion into the Octaerius sector.
[SPEAKER_01]: And in the Octaerius sector, defeats some guard.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then retreats back to the IFTAR.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's it.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a common thing about the codex is that's.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what Petarabo ends up becoming here.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's all over the place.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, he does like the segment of Skiris, which is the area right around the eye of terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: He does a lot of stuff there.
[SPEAKER_01]: But almost everything he's doing is like, you know, techno cults, which are, you know, cultists who like technology.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's doing all these little things.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's to aid a bad in this crusade.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I feel that he's just collecting.
[SPEAKER_00]: He became more of a
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know like a mad scientist almost not like fabulous by or anything, but like yeah, he did this little finger-esque.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm yeah, he's around in the lore, but he's not active in the lore.
[SPEAKER_01]: Although recently we may seem come up because recently with Vastor the arc fain coming into the lore, who I like a lot by the way, because he's because the
[SPEAKER_01]: Right, full story in Vastor.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's about full story.
[SPEAKER_01]: Quick side of Vastor, there's a belief that Vastor is what caused the Dark Ninja technology.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's a very ancient DMAT.
[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, him and Pedro Robo were kind of buddies.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is where the broker of
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, like the old chaos technology, effectively.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so the prime mark of the Legion who loves seeds warfare has aligned with a demon who specializes in corrupted machinery.
[SPEAKER_01]: So for now, while Pettarabo is more of almost a myth character in that he has it.
[SPEAKER_00]: But the thing is, you don't have a real understanding of what his forces are, how powerful he is anymore.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's, I don't know where you're still exist, but also like, there's a chance that he could just get all the iron warriors together.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this is one of the ones, you know, we should probably do in this for some of these characters, because this is the first one that we've covered, who's not dead and doesn't have a model.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what Peter Robber was.
[SPEAKER_01]: Peter Robber could come into the game suddenly with a model and the iron war is being a kind of an independently.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, they haven't, you don't know exactly how they broke.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I'm wearing a show up a lot in other in the Black Legion a lot.
[SPEAKER_00]: Of course.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: But like, they didn't disband in any way.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And like, both, and they're also not like war-banded either.
[SPEAKER_01]: They are still very organized under Pettarabbo.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, they're not active.
[SPEAKER_01]: You just don't know exactly what, what does the deal with that is.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, but one at Primark though, who's very active in the lore is,
[SPEAKER_01]: By the time really active we'll be right back after a quick break so and runs Got a bit more fun post-Harracy his legion just splinters into a billion pieces.
[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's gonna be a fun one.
[SPEAKER_01]: We are gonna do world leaders mostly, I think about Carl because Angron's just, again, another whiny crime mark.
[SPEAKER_00]: I do love, I eat, I'm reading this right from the page.
[SPEAKER_00]: So John puts, Angron on the center to demonhood, took a serious tone as mental faculties.
[SPEAKER_00]: He was, but crazy nuts, he had giant nails in his head that, yeah, and then became a demon prince of corn.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like he was already, wasn't wrong.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it wasn't great.
[SPEAKER_00]: He put that to eleven.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, at the end of the Horus heresiate, the eternity gate was actually where I think sent Angron to a different dimension of anger.
[SPEAKER_01]: So this is one of the stories I like a lot.
[SPEAKER_01]: So they land on earth, Angron's about to jump down and lead the charge.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Peterobo says, no, your two, no, as a Horus says, no, your two nuts.
[SPEAKER_01]: Peterobo's gonna do this.
[SPEAKER_01]: Angron starts smashing the capital ship.
[SPEAKER_01]: So they then dump him in the Nightlord's Labyrinth.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just to kind of, where it's point, he just is effectively in this impossible to solve labor and getting angry or an angrier or an angrier until they eventually just release him.
[SPEAKER_01]: They just drop him onto the planet.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's space falls.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, falls to Earth, does the superhero landing and just runs as fast as he can at the gate, which gets a lot funnier because he gets to the eternity gate, which is protected by the Emperor.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he's a demon, and he's a demon.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he can't breach it, but just is screaming at it, hitting it with a sword, then looks up.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's so much more funnier.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it looks up and sanguinious at the top of the gate.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's enquis just starts shit talking him.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like next level shit talking to.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, unfortunately because it would have been better if they just done the money python thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was like I farted in your general direction for a second.
[SPEAKER_01]: But after enough taunting and anger on gets angry enough to be almost exploding, San Guini is does jump down and agrees.
[SPEAKER_01]: Which makes no sense, by the way, but continue.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San Gra, San
[SPEAKER_01]: which then sends a cry can do the literally literally to his face he is he's he's he's it's a way looking at him while pulling the nails out of his head which then causes anger on to incordal die so he goes back into the warp and he misses the rest of the battle he is not happy this is not good he he's not in a good place
[SPEAKER_00]: This was also super not good for Horace, because his legion went banana pants.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, every world eater who was currently on terror just started killing whatever was close to self, thematic, oftentimes other world leaders.
[SPEAKER_01]: So fast forward a little bit and the world leaders just completely fall apart and they're not even a bleaching anymore.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're just war bands who are all fighting to get the most favor for corn.
[SPEAKER_01]: Larry, ten thousand years of this.
[SPEAKER_01]: Angron appears a couple random times this period of time.
[SPEAKER_01]: They want the first.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, if there's not, but I'm saying, even the surprise, we're going to do the war of shit again.
[SPEAKER_01]: But the truth is, it wasn't, this one is no different than the random one their Morty showed up with the works.
[SPEAKER_00]: True, because the first one I'm against is actually wildly smaller than the next.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, which is didn't involve works.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's why.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the angron
[SPEAKER_01]: decides while sitting in the warp to unify his legion.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the way he does it is, luckily, I ran him spacehulk appears next to the plant.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's on and he just goes, I love that.
[SPEAKER_00]: The space in my mind, it goes, spacehulk pulls up and goes, get in, loser.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's really good.
[SPEAKER_01]: Angron jumps in, he puts out a call and world leaders, demons, I mean, what cultists in the warp all just jump onto the spacehulk?
[SPEAKER_01]: and they go ork style.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're just on this hook and it just disappears from the inventory and a piece.
[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
[SPEAKER_00]: What one of my favorite things about A-ground is the fact that he makes a effectively wake in the real space into the inventory.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he's in front of the Vanguard.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's
[SPEAKER_00]: pulling the inventory with him.
[SPEAKER_00]: So there's blocked their stress.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, just.
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's, and it, but it's him.
[SPEAKER_00]: He, he, he legitimately has a week behind him exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: That draws all of us.
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's go to the invasion of army getting because it's actually kind of cool.
[SPEAKER_01]: Before angry ever gets there, cults start popping up.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they don't, obviously they're cultists, but these are just these violent cults all over the planet of known as a corn worshipers because not supposed to know that the chaos exists at this stage, obviously.
[SPEAKER_00]: They just, they have a bunch of really violent vehicles.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, all these, and then it, but the second Angron arrives in the planet.
[SPEAKER_01]: All these cults just stop fighting each other, grab their stuff, and walk.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they walk up to Angron.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, we're with you.
[SPEAKER_01]: And now half the planet.
[SPEAKER_01]: Plus, Angron and all these demons begin fighting.
[SPEAKER_01]: The defenders held out though for a bit, not well, but most of them died.
[SPEAKER_01]: But they ended falling back and falling back and defending and falling back.
[SPEAKER_01]: And an interesting thing happens.
[SPEAKER_01]: This retelling of story actually helps us help tell the story of chaos and the incursions into the material.
[SPEAKER_01]: Angron is just wrecking shop and they are congregating all of a sudden he just stops chasing and it's not because he is like ADHD and lost focus.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's because the favor of corn started to wait the waiver because they were winning too big to be honest.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it was.
[SPEAKER_01]: So what so Alson, Angron had to stop pursuing and conquering.
[SPEAKER_01]: They had to gather up all these dead bodies and form, you know, monuments to corn to get the corn syrup back and because without this, all the demons, which are what they would have blinking out of existence and corn's army would disappear.
[SPEAKER_00]: He starts basically effectively making if you go into the game.
[SPEAKER_00]: He starts making icons.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's making demonic icons to
[SPEAKER_01]: Anchor anchor the demons into the, because those icons because you're showing the devotion to corn, what they do is they then feed and the energy source, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
[SPEAKER_01]: So this invasion, this pause allows the gray nights and the space wolves to arrive and start wrecking shop.
[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, we can go into this whole fight, but I don't really care.
[SPEAKER_00]: It is pretty awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: What?
[SPEAKER_00]: Angra, I mean, he goes into the ignorance at the front of a lot of things right now.
[SPEAKER_00]: I would have to say he's number two.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think Morty is probably more involved in the story, but Angra currently, I mean,
[SPEAKER_00]: him's he is the person that did the most in them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right, let's go.
[SPEAKER_00]: Fashion in the royal engine was huge.
[SPEAKER_01]: So fast forward.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, a few, a few thousand more years, the great rift has opened and anger on appears again in the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: And when he appears, by the way, he slaughtered an entire garrison of a billion guardsmen and two thousand warships.
[SPEAKER_01]: So when we say he appears, we don't mean someone cited Bigfoot.
[SPEAKER_00]: There was a lot of video evidence.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's right there.
[SPEAKER_01]: but this angron's different.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the grainites go to intervene.
[SPEAKER_01]: They blow up a planet this time that angron's on, but he doesn't really die.
[SPEAKER_01]: He just seems to reappear.
[SPEAKER_01]: Almost instantly.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's not until he then starts slaughtering the grainites.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not until one of the grainites utters his true name that they're able to banish him back into the warp.
[SPEAKER_01]: But angron actually reemerges shortly thereafter.
[SPEAKER_01]: He ends up emerging to fight Dante at one point, luckily for Dante, the lion has just woken back up.
[SPEAKER_01]: And shows up on it.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, yes, I didn't know where and cuts and and runs head off.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he does crush his head with his sealed first.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he crushes head with his shield and then chops his head off.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was pretty bad.
[SPEAKER_01]: But hang on returns again.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this is the new thing right now.
[SPEAKER_01]: Angron has had his head cut off by a prime Marksword.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's had an orbital bombardment, numerous tanks, and run just he will die.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he's not invincible, but he reappears.
[SPEAKER_01]: And now, every time he reappears, it's exactly eight weeks, eight days and eight hours after you have to, you badge of the material, he reappears fully healed, super pissed off, and with a legion at his back.
[SPEAKER_00]: They do this in the game.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right now, we're leaders.
[SPEAKER_01]: He comes back on three, six, six, six, six, half, awful.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it can be pretty brutal.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they can just to change again.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I killed him.
[SPEAKER_00]: I hadn't come back four times.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And that's gallant.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was not my favorite.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Angron in the most current version of timeline is the most active of the chaos.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he's a problem also because he's being kind of carried over top his head by Abadhan.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you can't tell them what to do, but you can encourage them what to do.
[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll go into a lot of those stories as we talk about this, because Angron is the forefront of some really big things that happen in the current timeline.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's in all the big battles, Pierre.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's, he's the new one right now.
[SPEAKER_01]: The next, let's jump into Magnus.
[SPEAKER_01]: So much like more Terry, and we spent a good amount of time on Magnus already in the Raman costs, so this one will be a little bit quicker.
[SPEAKER_01]: After breaking the walls of the Emperor's Webway project and doing mankind, the Magnus was not done being wrong constantly.
[SPEAKER_00]: Look, man, he was just trying to send an email.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, so Lehman Russ breaks Magnus's back over, isn't he?
[SPEAKER_01]: When he does this, he gives himself his legion over to Zehnch.
[SPEAKER_01]: At that moment, the thing is, Magnus died then.
[SPEAKER_01]: his soul was shattered.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know if you say he's died.
[SPEAKER_01]: He bleached, he gets shattered.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I say he died because he, he, he, he turned into something else died.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you do that.
[SPEAKER_00]: You do that.
[SPEAKER_01]: You do that.
[SPEAKER_01]: A hundred percent.
[SPEAKER_01]: He, all of a sudden his soul becomes these, these shards all over the place.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we've discussed these, these shards before, but each of these shards is a version of madness.
[SPEAKER_01]: So when you, when we talk about a shard, it's not like, oh, we found some crystal.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you actually find this madness just hanging out.
[SPEAKER_00]: I do like this only because they,
[SPEAKER_00]: The emperor had the same thing happen time.
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about that much later.
[SPEAKER_00]: We talked a little bit about it, but this again is what happens.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is what happens when, yeah, this is what I'm going to powerful being in the work dice.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the hard part about these shards is that the biggest one obviously went with the thousand sons into the material.
[SPEAKER_01]: But over a time, it actually started to deteriorate, and Magnus began to fall apart within the warp, so Araman actually went out to get the other shards.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, he came back with four of them.
[SPEAKER_01]: One of them we discussed, it was inside the original Grand Master Great Night.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not so this is, it's one of the iron months where my favorite characters were not talking about him because he's pretty epic stories.
[SPEAKER_00]: He went all these stories.
[SPEAKER_00]: He can read in trials.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And in doing so though, he did save Magnus.
[SPEAKER_01]: Magnus regained almost all of his power and was able to kind of rejoin the force of chaos and earnest.
[SPEAKER_01]: And because he was actually, you know, on the verge of helping them breach, like he does this, the castle before Vulcan kicked the crap out of him badly.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: after the failure of the heresy, Magnus, just like more tearing and went on a pounding fit.
[SPEAKER_00]: Although I do think Magnus had more reasons to pout because, well, era mine went so promised you're not going to be mad.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I found this really cool recipe and I made it and it turned ninety five percent of our Legion into dust zombies.
[SPEAKER_01]: He did get rid of the flesh.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I did stop the flesh curse though.
[SPEAKER_01]: Hundred percent.
[SPEAKER_01]: Magnus wasn't happy.
[SPEAKER_01]: That being said, like Pettarabo, Magnus just disappears.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they just make, he's in his tower for a long time.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it is ten thousand years.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not until he decides, I don't know where to go burn Venice, which is funny in the stories because he just kind of popped up.
[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know where.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this is this was not there was no lead up to this moment.
[SPEAKER_01]: He just all of a sudden went, I'm just going to go ahead and remove Fenras.
[SPEAKER_01]: So him and R I'm on a line.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is a big deal because he's been person and I got an air monster and hey, would you like to show up the tower?
[SPEAKER_00]: I definitely will not kill you if you shop.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, why do you like is that they then decide to go after one of my favorite, every time gw does this like intellectual property game, it's called Midgardia.
[SPEAKER_01]: Not Midgard.
[SPEAKER_01]: Midgardia.
[SPEAKER_01]: What?
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, Pat and attorney, what if I add a letter to the end of something?
[SPEAKER_01]: Does it then become mind?
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, maybe.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's find out.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's real.
[SPEAKER_01]: They invade and we'll cover this and actually find more than a thousand sunscast and because we already covered it a little bit in the arm and cast, we'll cover this more on the space world's cast.
[SPEAKER_01]: We did it already in the arm and cast, but we'll do a recycled end.
[SPEAKER_01]: long story short, they sacrifice this planet of Maguardia by killing everyone and everything there.
[SPEAKER_01]: Prospero reemerges.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the copy of.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, because what Prospero went came the plan of sorcerers when it went into the material and now it came back out of the material.
[SPEAKER_01]: It went back to being called Prospero.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And it's also like kind of half in.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, it's a copy, possibly.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the next piece for
[SPEAKER_01]: Magnus is when Gilliman comes back to life.
[SPEAKER_00]: Which is funny because I'm going to throw this out there for everybody.
[SPEAKER_00]: In the writings, it feels like everybody got an instant alert.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, when Gilman came back every single chaos god, interestingly though, not when the lion did.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's because the lion was never dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was just in that pocket dimension, whereas Gilman was effectively dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then was brought back.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like as soon as the Gman came out, all of the gods went
[SPEAKER_01]: We got to do something about this.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to cover G-Man in the next one.
[SPEAKER_01]: I do think part of it also is the armor is because Gilliman was now, especially for Nurgle.
[SPEAKER_01]: Gilliman was now ultra resistant to all the chaos powers.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
[SPEAKER_00]: They made armor.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's the armor of the Emperor.
[SPEAKER_01]: The armor of the Emperor is a hard no.
[SPEAKER_01]: That thing has to go away.
[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, Magnus detects that Gilliman is alive and decides no.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's actually kind of a cool thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Magnus realizes that Gilliman is using the web way to travel, you know, from McRag all the way back to terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: Magnus can't travel in the web way directly, but neither should Gilliman.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Magnus realizes that if he just kind of follows Gilliman's wake within the web way, the web way won't kill him and he can do it.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he begins following and there.
[SPEAKER_01]: His actual plan was to follow Gilliman back to terror, pop out and kill the Emperor.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, except for let me owe him.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's not an idiot.
[SPEAKER_00]: Hold on.
[SPEAKER_00]: Watch this though.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let me one, one carry the one.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Magnus is one zero.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Magnus never wins anything.
[SPEAKER_01]: Gilliman hoardling news being followed because it's still Magnus following him a giant red one-eyed monster with horns and wings turns out it stands out he's also surrounded in this journey by Eldar including Harley Quinn's so who are the masters of the web way and so anyway you're like man what is your main power?
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm the Lord of Psychics anyone.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh cool.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, there's like a bunch of sisters of science.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: It didn't go well when they landed.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Gilliman takes a left turn and is there landing on terror lands on Luna?
[SPEAKER_01]: Magnus attacks and is just about to kill Gilliman when as we cover in the prior episode, all the sisters of silence show up and just being around Magnus suck his soul out of his eyes.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's not great.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so he has to run away.
[SPEAKER_01]: Moving into the most recent though, Magnus now has a new goal and it's a really, really stupid one.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is he, I'm for sure he's got a volcanic layer to do this.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is the dumbest thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: Magnus, yeah, it's volcano there.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is some doctor, he's just this is just so dumb.
[SPEAKER_01]: It Magnus has decided that he's going to turn humanity into a psychic race.
[SPEAKER_01]: And what he's done is on his unprospero.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's built his own astronomical.
[SPEAKER_01]: and it every cycle in the galaxy is aware of it and they're drawn to it.
[SPEAKER_01]: His eye goal is to bring as all the cycles of the galaxy to prosper.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then from there, use this psychic awakening to convert all of humanity.
[SPEAKER_00]: He has no defensive plan for doing this.
[SPEAKER_00]: He basically makes a new each his own little new astrimonic on and then is surprised when.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, that people show up.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's dive into it.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's quite funny.
[SPEAKER_01]: He builds a giant beacon for all psychers anywhere in the galaxy to come join him on a planet that already got wrecked once by a space marine invasion.
[SPEAKER_01]: And the great nights are just like, so he's over there, right?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they grab dark windows in the way because they're like, look, we can't bring the space wolves because last time they were here, they went, oh, little overboard.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I, you know, like those dudes are weird.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're just like, actually, actually, you know, it's not that.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's the great.
[SPEAKER_01]: I just went, look, we want to bring the space wolves, but they don't like us.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, really.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's actually more like what it was.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, we need to have this battle and not just get on some bad.
[SPEAKER_00]: Logan's still there.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's, uh, we're good.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like we're good.
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, Dark Angels.
[SPEAKER_01]: He has, he come with us for a minute.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so they go and as always, Magnus loses.
[SPEAKER_00]: because he set up absolutely no defense.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's insanity that he put up a giant galaxy wide visible beacon.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then it was just like, what, you guys are here?
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that's weird?
[SPEAKER_00]: Who knew?
[SPEAKER_00]: Can't believe it.
[SPEAKER_00]: I believe.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he's supposed to be like one of these martyrs.
[SPEAKER_01]: But let's go from him to another primary, who I don't like.
[SPEAKER_01]: Fullroom.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it doesn't lose all the time.
[SPEAKER_00]: It was all the time.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's got multiple victories.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's say like your, I don't know Bobby G. And you weren't around for a while.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I've now.
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about it.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, we'll do it without him.
[SPEAKER_01]: Has a model.
[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about it.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's also awesome.
[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe the best model in the game.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's look at the quick recap.
[SPEAKER_01]: Um, during the heresy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Fulgram had a theme and that was being controlled and possessed by different things over and over and over again.
[SPEAKER_00]: His theme was trying to be the best of everything I love.
[SPEAKER_00]: You're just like screw this really.
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_01]: How many times did Fulgram get possessed or control?
[SPEAKER_00]: You're a cool.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're not.
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to be on the master of perfection.
[SPEAKER_01]: My hair is magnificent.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm the greatest.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, a demon's a control of me again.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[SPEAKER_01]: I beat that demon.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it happened again.
[SPEAKER_01]: He did feel a lot of sins.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: He just constant.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like it only do is roll a two on a D. Twenty.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he's still everything.
[SPEAKER_00]: With a reroll.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I rolled a one.
[SPEAKER_01]: So over and over again, he is just I just think he's he's just a child.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I don't like him.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's all impulse and never takes any blame for anything.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's really pretty fine.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he used to be a giant serpent monster.
[SPEAKER_01]: The big thing in the cup of this back in episode seven, but the big change for Fulgram was actually with Petarabo.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is when he just screws Petarabo over royally.
[SPEAKER_01]: He could tell his Pettarabo that they need to go on a buddy quest together to go pick up this super special sword.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Pettarabo goes cool.
[SPEAKER_01]: And while they're going there, he says to him, hey, can you put this weird cloak on?
[SPEAKER_01]: And Pettarabo again goes, yeah, sure.
[SPEAKER_01]: And apparently I look what could possibly happen.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a complete moron.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, the cloak actually was sapping his energy.
[SPEAKER_01]: We did this for a while.
[SPEAKER_01]: It was of seven, a lot of energy.
[SPEAKER_01]: So go back and listen to that.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you want, but in the end, it was a trap, but luckily some other loyalist Marines show up and they undermine the trap.
[SPEAKER_01]: Long story short, Pettarabbo goes from, I'm about to die to, I got all my strength back and takes a look at full-groom and goes, nah.
[SPEAKER_01]: and hits him with a hammer so hard that Fulgram's body splits in half.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but it splits in half in a cool, please someone do see.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I have this is the cool part.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is the cool part.
[SPEAKER_01]: Fullroom splits in half and then rises back up as a giant purple snake.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I said with four arms and wings.
[SPEAKER_01]: And wings too.
[SPEAKER_01]: There is a model for this.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a thirty came model.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of that things that we see.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is, I mean, I will not own it because I'm not going to paint
[SPEAKER_00]: Also, they're not sure how you're going to travel with it because those wings are gigantic.
[SPEAKER_01]: What's also is employable.
[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, then thirty.
[UNKNOWN]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: Look at, we're going to get program this year.
[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, not this year.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Mark it down.
[SPEAKER_01]: Fine.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get to that the end of this.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is a good likelihood.
[SPEAKER_01]: Fullgram's going back.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: We just saw it this week, actually.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, as a siege of Tara begins, Fullgram and his legion at first are super into it and then just get bored because you know what, fighting the loyalists was hard.
[SPEAKER_01]: They had like guns and they did, they'd hate you.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's not hard going to the mall.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this is the thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I laughed about this a lot.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like,
[SPEAKER_01]: They just decided to go and just jack up, not just terror by the way, everywhere.
[SPEAKER_01]: They just left.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they just grabbed as many slaves as they possibly can from the most undefended area.
[SPEAKER_00]: It easily said had little or no resistance.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, they went to everywhere that on the earth with the ever that wasn't the imperial palace.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then they just boogieed out of system and just stopped off at random like agree world or whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just grabbing more people.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: With it's actually matters a lot from a lower standpoint is that Fulgram ends up building this massive base back in the eye of terror because he's got
[SPEAKER_01]: all of these slaves, trillions of them, and his forces bailed on the siege of terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's, the embers' children is at your still legit.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's still a japan, but yet at the right at the end of the heresy, they were the most powerful force in the entire hudodge, in that area.
[SPEAKER_01]: What ends up happening, though, is because Fulgram's useless at everything.
[SPEAKER_01]: He starts torturing all the and killing all these captains that's running out of them.
[SPEAKER_01]: So then he begins what's called the Legion War, which is when all the Legion started fighting each other in the Eye of Terror, and he started it because he had the largest Legion, and he'd go steal all their people.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
[SPEAKER_00]: Also, it made no sense because he couldn't just left the Eye of Terror and grab people.
[SPEAKER_00]: It weren't all their cast-based brains.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, let's get to the two biggest moments of Fogrum.
[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, one hasn't happened yet, but those are with it with this one.
[SPEAKER_01]: Fogrum and his legion keep popping into the material and grabbing people.
[SPEAKER_01]: Large sections of people.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Gilliman is just like, no.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, nope, not happiness.
[SPEAKER_00]: Jim and kind of did a whole detective thing on this to figure out where he was going to go.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and tracks him down, and eventually Gilliman in the ultramarines, corner, phlegrum, and the emperor's children, and they're going to kill them, except for one little problem.
[SPEAKER_01]: Gilliman is a primary.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, all grums, a demon primer also that he didn't know that he was going to be facing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a demon primer.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a demon doesn't know what full room looks like.
[SPEAKER_01]: And now this massive demon snake with poison, huge.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he slits Gilman's throat with a poison blade.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, just to slow it with a poison.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And we all poison does to space ways.
[SPEAKER_01]: I knew that was coming.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think I'd walk right into it.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like, like, like, right into it.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why.
[SPEAKER_01]: As a reward for this, though, this is around M. thirty two.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think thirty one thirty two.
[SPEAKER_01]: Fulgrim is a slenex is so happy with Fulgrim that he actually, that she builds Fulgrim his own little play center within nature.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, dementia and we're full-groom is that sits there and he can do it every once with it.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he does things like they conjures up old battles that he used to be in to wage them again.
[SPEAKER_01]: All every glory of his life, he's been sitting in this area just reliving it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Please, he's basically sitting on the hollow deck.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's just making shit up.
[SPEAKER_01]: What happens to interesting though is that when Gilliman gets resurrected, Fulgram doesn't appear directly.
[SPEAKER_01]: He possesses one of the members of the council of McCregg and just starts shit talking him and telling him that, you know, I'm going to hunt you down.
[SPEAKER_01]: And whenever the second you make a mistake, I'm going to capitalize that mistake and it's going to be the downfall of you and the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but also as always with a lot of the cast forces, you know what he could have done, not just told in his plan.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so Gilliman went, thanks for telling me that it would have been super hard to weed this out.
[SPEAKER_00]: But now that you've told me exactly what you're going to do, then I guess I'm good now.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm probably not going to fall into that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now let's do a quick story that no one probably saw coming, except unless you read trays and trays in the infinite.
[SPEAKER_01]: Can also, good book.
[SPEAKER_01]: Really good book.
[SPEAKER_01]: So this is actually one of the funnier stories.
[SPEAKER_01]: We've covered before Fabius Bial was the main apocate the carry.
[SPEAKER_00]: for the Empress Children, which is Full Grim's Legion.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Fabius is at one point try to clone all the primarcs and Abadon felt differently about that.
[SPEAKER_01]: He comes back years later to try it again.
[SPEAKER_01]: And this time he only goes after Full Grim.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's part of this, it's actually Fabius doesn't like what Full Grim is.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of mean.
[SPEAKER_01]: phone was terrifying, and he actually successfully reclones Fulgram.
[SPEAKER_01]: It is a original form, but with all the genetic memories of new Fulgram, and this part of the book is actually pretty weird.
[SPEAKER_01]: Weirdly without chaos corruption.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no chaos corruption, but we haven't actually mixed into the corruption in the soul, so he's just doing the genes, the genes had memories and whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: Fulgram and Fabius sit around and just talk for a while, and they're talking and they're talking and
[SPEAKER_01]: as new Fulgram comes at terms with what's happened, he makes a vow that he's going to go and undo the legacy of his clone brother and effectively save the Imperium to which Fabius is in his head going, yeah, this just makes a lot of sense, but also you're the exact same person.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to, as that one, you're totally going to fall a demon and we're going to have two of you.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he sets a trap and gives clone Fulgram
[SPEAKER_01]: Two trays in the infinite to add to his collection.
[SPEAKER_01]: So technically as of right now, there are two full rooms.
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, they do nothing with that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like he basically gives a voice story.
[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for the thanks for the full group dooses.
[SPEAKER_00]: Also, I'm really wondering what they're going to do with full room because I think that he might be and people can poo on this or love it or whatnot.
[SPEAKER_00]: He might be the most powerful demon primer, like physically like, oh, very much.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it'll be, so for those who don't know, Brad and I'm playing the GW has been teasing about your emperor's children things, and like literally this week, now that it matters when you guys are in here, this gives me months, so you listen, it's a month to years ago, but they just teased the shoulder tolerance.
[SPEAKER_01]: So now we know the emperor's children regions coming out next year.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the expectation is that we'll get a full-groom model, which would be super cool.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's just in in his lower.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's lightning fast.
[SPEAKER_00]: He always wasn't really good.
[SPEAKER_01]: Dole is sure I mean.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, he'll have a mean.
[SPEAKER_01]: It'll be hard having seen angron stats.
[SPEAKER_01]: How you do?
[SPEAKER_01]: Fullgroom stats.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like what?
[SPEAKER_00]: Plus he's also really just good at smoking groups.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Of things.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm wondering what's going on.
[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be a tough one for GW to write.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's all.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're from.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, but let's get to the Brad's favorite part of the cast.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, shit.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're there.
[SPEAKER_01]: I always say the little dorns my least favorite, but then you remember that then you remember that that Lorgar just, I don't even count him.
[SPEAKER_00]: He sucks so much.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's do Lorgar real quick.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be right back after a quick break.
[SPEAKER_01]: Not like this one though.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Lorgar is the largest catalyst for the more serious catalyst for the more seriously.
[SPEAKER_01]: War the warrior lodges, which are still a bad idea, Brad.
[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever the serpent.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I love that we had this kind of this argument before we had the cast put about modern things.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then he referenced it again.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Still wrong on this one.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was the one who convinced everyone to take Horace the serpent lodge.
[SPEAKER_01]: He then he was also before the creating cult to the emperor.
[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, the entire imperial truth.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was like the imperial creed has origins with Lord God.
[SPEAKER_00]: He wrote the book.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I know, it's like, Lorgar is, he wrote the book.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he wrote a book, and then the, and then the, and then the plagiarized the, a thought of it to, you know, I'm just saying, when you say someone wrote the book, Lorgar is like, I did write the book.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's fair.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, as a heresy expans, Lordguard starts to struggle with Horace.
[SPEAKER_01]: He starts to lead Lordguard gets jealous about the fact that all the chaos gods like Horace Moore, even though he's the one doing all the stuff for the chaos.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, because Lordguard is
[SPEAKER_01]: born to be middle management.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Lord Garth has this great plan of using a demon to control full run, which is a great plan that happens easily constantly.
[SPEAKER_01]: He must have like just disadvantage versus it's intelligence of two.
[SPEAKER_00]: So you're possessed again?
[UNKNOWN]: Whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever, this that someone go get the get the bucket.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like should we ask who he's possessed by?
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not even interesting anymore.
[SPEAKER_01]: The story is getting boring.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, but the part that's funny is that Fulgram, while possessed, the person possessing him because it's not lower guard, but trays lower guard, and lower guard finds himself standing one V one against Horace.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that doesn't go super great.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Horace's just puts a butt weapon down and kicks Lord Gar out of the heresy effectively.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is actually worth, I feel was he would have rather.
[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't want to die, but also Horace thinks so little of Lord Gar that he doesn't even think this is a problem.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he's kind of right at it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he's right because the thing is, the problem is, Eribus and Leic, don't leave.
[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Horace doesn't has, yeah, he still gets all the word bears.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, it's minus Lorgar and a small group.
[SPEAKER_01]: Lorgar, though, obviously ends up pretty quickly back in the warp.
[SPEAKER_01]: And over time, the rest of the word bears also rejoin the warp.
[SPEAKER_01]: And once back there, they all still agreed with Lorgar.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, even therapists does, they weren't backstabbing each other, just therapists of them was like, I don't want to get my ass kicked by Horace, so I'm going to hang out with him.
[SPEAKER_00]: And these are, I have to give them this.
[SPEAKER_00]: They are the most pure devotees of the Kaskas.
[SPEAKER_01]: And from a lower standpoint, I think they're the most important as far as GW setting the stage of what is the life's like in the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're the most important Kaskas, and I'll explain why in a minute.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's because I just use the word Kaskult.
[SPEAKER_01]: Lorgar sucks at combat, but the chaos gods loved him, and they eventually make him a demon prince, a very, very powerful demon prince, not at fighting.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, but Lorgar is good at spreading chaos, and that's why he's so important.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you're the inquisition, a word bear in cultist incursion is the worst thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: They've got to also such a knack for getting these grassroots operations in instantly getting demons to them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and that's, and that becomes, that's what makes the word bears so great because they're because they're the most powerful in this world and this kind of realm.
[SPEAKER_01]: They speak more clearly to psychors than any other group.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, whereas Nergull is waiting for you to suffer, corn's waiting for combat, you know, zeanch is waiting for a desire for things.
[SPEAKER_01]: Lorgar is just creating those things.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, he's fantastic, it's subversive, because yeah, convinces you that, hey, man, you haven't problem with your psychics.
[SPEAKER_00]: I can help by blah, blah, blah, and then all of a sudden you're like, oh, man, I've got a full cult.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's, so my opinion is that the word varies are actually creating the vast majority of the cults all across the Imperium, which sucks for the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, they're also just not willing to fight, which is weird for a space marine legend.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it is, it is, because they're more like, they're, they are, they're word bears.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what they're doing.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're trying to spread the word of chaos throughout the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_01]: The greater concern to the material, though, is a change recently in L'Orgar.
[SPEAKER_01]: So while in the eye of terror, Luger went on a bloody multi millennia meditation.
[SPEAKER_01]: No one knows about what or why.
[SPEAKER_00]: He went on a spiritual journey.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but now, but recently he woke up.
[SPEAKER_01]: And ever since he woke up, he's been seen in the material.
[SPEAKER_01]: And he hasn't been seen in the material.
[SPEAKER_01]: All of us talk about him like raising cults.
[SPEAKER_01]: He was doing all that from the in material.
[SPEAKER_01]: Luger hasn't been seen in the material since before the end of the heresy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's with thirty.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so the over eleven thousand years there are reports of him now leading these horrifically large, you know, well, wordbare legions, reaching and spreading the word.
[SPEAKER_00]: Can my favorite wordbare stories and this tells you how many just to give an example of how
[SPEAKER_00]: influential and widespread.
[SPEAKER_00]: The word bears were assaulting a giant fortress and couldn't get thrown at the can bring the walls down.
[SPEAKER_01]: So they had a million cultists die and they made a ramp of dead bodies and just went up and up and over.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's the word bears.
[SPEAKER_01]: So right now, I would laugh hysterically by the way, because we're talking about them having a full-gram model.
[SPEAKER_01]: If there was no full-gram, but there's a lower-guard model.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: John, no.
[SPEAKER_00]: Don't you put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby.
[SPEAKER_01]: Good news, everybody.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're getting a new demon prince.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, is it full-groom?
[SPEAKER_01]: No, is it?
[SPEAKER_01]: Is it petarabo?
[SPEAKER_01]: Also, no, it's not Lord Riz.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yes, totally Lord Riz.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a GI Joe.
[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Tim.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's not so much.
[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[SPEAKER_01]: That was me making Brad talk about the Lord God.
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's let Brad talk about something he actually likes.
[SPEAKER_00]: Affarius and Omega.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to do a deep dive into Alpha Legion, obviously, because they are complicated.
[SPEAKER_01]: Hell.
[SPEAKER_00]: So also tons of contrasting.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to we're going to about to give you the the lore.
[SPEAKER_01]: This is what I'm giving you now is all canon, but there's also a lot of canon that says all the canon about the tell you is not true.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's really fun.
[SPEAKER_00]: They've wrapped on the shit out of this.
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's do it in the simple fashion.
[SPEAKER_01]: The alpha legion doesn't have one primar.
[SPEAKER_01]: They have two primarx identical twins of ferris and omega.
[SPEAKER_01]: I do hate this for a very simple reason.
[SPEAKER_01]: These are three meter tall beings who weigh two tons, but apparently they're very very sneaky.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Alpharis was just on Tara going, hello, fellow guys.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's also, there's a belief that they may have both been on like Horace's flagship at the same time, or one guy just peeking behind a curtain.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's just stupid.
[SPEAKER_00]: Never.
[SPEAKER_00]: Always the Steve Buschewi, baby.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just hello, fellow marine.
[SPEAKER_01]: Alpharis, that guy looks just like you.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, he doesn't.
[SPEAKER_01]: That is a regular space Marine.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's twice the size of everyone at the space Marine.
[SPEAKER_01]: I said, is your name Tim?
[SPEAKER_01]: I believe it's Tim.
[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone say hi to Tim.
[SPEAKER_01]: Definitely not my brother.
[SPEAKER_01]: Tim.
[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely no chance.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's really cool and you read it quickly.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then you think about it for a little bit.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like this makes no sense.
[SPEAKER_01]: How do you have a sneaky primar?
[SPEAKER_01]: But going forward, we'll just use the turn-out fairies to make life easier, joins Horace, but interestingly not for the Chaos Gods.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's because they felt the Emperor was leading humanity down the wrong path, and they wanted a course correction for the Imperium, and thought Horace was the way to do that.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then there's also the non-canon, which says, because we've got stories.
[SPEAKER_00]: One of the two brothers was actually trying to sabotage.
[SPEAKER_01]: There we go.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and there's a lot of this.
[SPEAKER_01]: It gets weird because they kind of are thought to be, well, maybe they're the good guys.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they murder a lot of people.
[SPEAKER_00]: a lot because they're also super sneaky and they spring out and kill a bunch of people.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and it's all because they did take a meeting with the Kabul more on them in an aforementioned cast.
[SPEAKER_01]: So the Alpha Legion gets sent out by Horace, and they're sent out to go deal with the Space Wolves and the Dark Angels.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just stupid.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, they do a surprise attack on the Space Wolves, they do a surprise attack on the Dark Angels.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're all over, they're all over, they're causing nightmare.
[SPEAKER_00]: And again, they, this is where again, you go back to, maybe they, maybe one of them was the good guy, because they f up all of these things and give them
[SPEAKER_00]: advanced notice for the Imperium that this is coming.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just they're fault.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just this is I don't know how he did.
[SPEAKER_01]: I just find this time it's like the timeline when you're reading out.
[SPEAKER_01]: Alpha Legion stuff is so hard.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, because it doesn't, some of it doesn't make sense and where the time is.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's the book Seren, but we'll go to a couple of key parts of this.
[SPEAKER_01]: As we can near the end of the Horace Heresy, the Alpha Legion are part of Horace's plan for invading the soul system.
[SPEAKER_01]: So Pluto, which is still not a planet in the thirty first millennia.
[SPEAKER_01]: as armed to the teeth with fortresses and guns, and the Alpha Legion was sent there to go and go soften it up.
[SPEAKER_01]: So what they did, this is what Alpha Legion's, they just infiltrated the imperial fists.
[SPEAKER_01]: They just went in there, wore their faces effectively, and wandered around.
[SPEAKER_01]: All at once, this is before the invasion of Seoul, by the way, all at once.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, all these cells throughout the Seoul system activate.
[SPEAKER_01]: and ships are blowing up even on terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's just, there's entire factories are going, actually I think there's a ship that fell out of orbit at one point and it's all this massive confusion but the real goal was Pluto because they were actually wanted to disable a bunch of the weapon systems on Pluto to make it easier for them to come in.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Pluto is a rock surrounded by satellite destruction.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: And out there, he actually leads this one head on going and going into Pluto.
[SPEAKER_01]: The problem is as much as Brad does not like Rogel Dorn.
[SPEAKER_01]: He will admit two things of Rogel Dorn.
[SPEAKER_01]: One, he's very strategically intelligent.
[SPEAKER_01]: He's also a badass.
[SPEAKER_01]: He can fight.
[SPEAKER_01]: So he, I would put top Rogel Dorn in the top two or three of all the primaries.
[SPEAKER_00]: If you're talking about just somebody that's going to punch you, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: who's better non-demon, not non-possessed, who's better than local, don't hand-hand combat.
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe the lion?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the problem with the Vulcan is just depends on which Vulcan you get, which story you get.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's true, yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's why that's helping me.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to say, while how much does the plot need me to be tough?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's fair.
[SPEAKER_01]: So in this situation, yeah, Elferius is not in a good situation here.
[SPEAKER_01]: He does tell Doran by the way that I'm not doing this stuff to benefit Horace.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing it to benefit the galaxy at large.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to cover this when we do the alpha legion, but like the third whole big thing is that this needs to happen so we don't lose to chaos.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: And Rogel Dorn, here's those words and punches him right in the face.
[SPEAKER_01]: He does not even let that sink in.
[SPEAKER_01]: Good to hear.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I want to explain to you, there are two primarx fighting.
[SPEAKER_01]: Here's how the fight goes down.
[SPEAKER_01]: Rogel
[SPEAKER_01]: Beats alpharius silly cuts both of his hands off.
[SPEAKER_01]: He runs him.
[SPEAKER_01]: Then picks up the spear that those hands were holding jams it through alpharius and then takes his own sort of cuts his head off.
[SPEAKER_01]: Alpharius has died.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be back team for that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, every time it's why I have every time Rogel Dorne fights, he does, he just bubbles whoever he's fighting.
[SPEAKER_01]: Rogel's kind of cool.
[SPEAKER_01]: Although he gets whiny later on.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_01]: Throughout the rest of the, of the Horacee Alpha Legion are next to Horace, but near the end as they're getting into the siege of Terra, Alpha Legion noticeably significantly absent from it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Heresy ends, and Alpha Legion just move to the right side of the galaxy at the end of the heresy.
[SPEAKER_01]: They don't go back into the eye of terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: they go out into the right side of the galaxy, you know, the east.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just gonna keep calling it the right side.
[SPEAKER_00]: I was just about to say, I'm waiting for it.
[SPEAKER_00]: You mean the east?
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the right side.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's no east side.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's no magnet.
[SPEAKER_01]: Get me a magnetic north and we can do this.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a lazy thing to call it the east, but not lazy.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a, I get it to need.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well thing, I've been correct enough times that, you know, it's a naval thing.
[SPEAKER_01]: Everything goes north east southwest, but I'm still going right side.
[SPEAKER_01]: So as they're doing it, the Alpha Legion are out on the right side of the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of doing no one knows what.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're causing problems don't get me wrong, but there just, there's no rhyme or reason behind it.
[SPEAKER_01]: But they then eventually get a little bit close to the ultramarine territory.
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, hopefully everyone seems to dislike the ultramarines.
[SPEAKER_01]: You'll notice there's a lot in the stories.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think this is more just because the ultramarines wear plot armor, but the alpha legion do get a little bit too close to ultramarine territory.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then they get their asses kicked by the culture.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and as a guillotine just goes, nah, guillotine and the, and the legion surround the alpha legion and pursue them and actually do successfully again kill the primarke.
[SPEAKER_01]: This time, alpharius is dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: However, there's a key piece of this in the lore every time a primarke dies, it has an incredible effect in the legion.
[SPEAKER_00]: Psychically wrecked.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, wrecked them.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's this is where the the red thirst and the blind angels comes from sanguine estine.
[SPEAKER_01]: The Alpha Legion were completely unfaced.
[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, like the entire plan of Gilman's attack here was like, I'm going to hit them.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to kill Alpharius and what Alpharius is that the whole Legion will collapse.
[SPEAKER_01]: The entire Legion was like, who's dead?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, whatever.
[SPEAKER_01]: And in fact, they actually pushed the Ultramarines back because they were not ready for this level of counterattacks.
[SPEAKER_00]: And one of the biggest things in this is in the game, HQ, your warlord can shift to each of your, yeah, to each of your characters, which was a great thing because effectively they're saying with the Alphemy, Alpha Legion, you're not sure who's actually in charge, who's going on because they do the whole I am Spartacus.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: with everybody.
[SPEAKER_01]: But what I love in the lore is it's in the lore that they kind of leaned into this a little bit where now the Imperium is kind of wondering are these guys dead.
[SPEAKER_01]: So they decide the lords of terror Brad's buddies.
[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, you're seeing the discord I refer to being too short to be a lord of terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: Someone said we should make a T-shirt of Brad as a Lord of terror as it is too short.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it'd be a low Lord of terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: He could be a high Lord of terror.
[SPEAKER_01]: He'd have to be.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just have you standing on the box.
[SPEAKER_01]: The apple cart.
[SPEAKER_01]: The apple crate.
[SPEAKER_01]: Uh-huh.
[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, the lords of terror authorized six Vindicare to go hunt down and kill Alpharius if he existed.
[SPEAKER_01]: Five years later, one of the lords of terror opened his refrigerator because apparently they have those and found all six of the heads of those Vindicare assassins in the freezer.
[SPEAKER_01]: And there's a, this is, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,
[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're perpetuals.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think I think Galtheris and Omega and Omega and Omega and Omega and whatever the image are either they're not two that's actually one but they're perpetual or they're just two perpetuals.
[SPEAKER_01]: Who's cloning them and how many clones they have?
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just, you know, they show up at too many places across the galaxy at the same time.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so maybe, maybe there are multiple, I just, it's a weird thing where I think they've got some goofy powers that haven't been fleshed out like so much in an official writing so far.
[SPEAKER_01]: Namely, I do believe their perpetual stuff.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think it could be, I mean, they've got wrecked.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're both, they've got an ultra-killed and there's an idea of maybe they've died numerous times because we don't know if Alpha Legion's up to most of the time.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I could see them being these, you know, perpetuals who are just constantly coming back, coming back, coming back.
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why also would explain why in the lore, the Alpha Legion tends to operate in the fringes.
[SPEAKER_01]: of the Lord.
[SPEAKER_01]: We don't really know what the Alpha Legion's up to.
[SPEAKER_01]: And all, but what they do show up, they show up in Max.
[SPEAKER_01]: They're in giant force.
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's quite possible these two are pulling the strings behind it.
[SPEAKER_00]: They can be just been there in the whole time and a thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is one of the ones.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm actually semi I'd love to have them flesh this out a little bit.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but me too.
[SPEAKER_01]: Alpha Legion's awesome as hell.
[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, that's it.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the end of the Trader Primarchs.
[SPEAKER_01]: Next week, we're going to get into Loyalist ones, which means Rogaldorn.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because there is no, we're new Rogaldorn party time.
[SPEAKER_01]: Because no one party is like Rogaldorn because Rogaldorn does not party.
[SPEAKER_00]: You are right.
[SPEAKER_00]: He is the end of fun.
[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_01]: There's fun police and then there's Rogaldorn, Rogaldorn oversees the fun police.
