00:00:03 Speaker 1: Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King. I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your favorite shows from the Real Housewives in Atlanta, New Jersey and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and Bell Collective. Every episode we recap reality television from the Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or scripted as well. 00:00:36 Speaker 2: Dustin Ross, you gotta do it like. 00:00:48 Speaker 3: So much, spot so much? 00:00:55 Speaker 2: Are you faithful? Okay? Which one you? Traders? Traders? 00:01:05 Speaker 1: I listen, I'm a I'm a faithful person. 00:01:11 Speaker 4: Doesn't but you know, for the right of monocoling, that's right, that's right. 00:01:18 Speaker 2: Okay, baby, this was good. 00:01:22 Speaker 4: These put episodes four and five were good as hell, Carlos. 00:01:25 Speaker 2: They on the roll over there. This is a great season, man. 00:01:29 Speaker 1: A great it really is. And obviously it is my first time watching it. Oh look at lista reader or shall I say, Caroline Stansbury bitch. 00:01:45 Speaker 2: So nasty? It is so rude, right, Carlos. 00:01:49 Speaker 3: So nasty, so real? Listen. 00:01:51 Speaker 1: That should be the title of this episode, episode four or five. Dustin rass Carlos king, we are recapping that of the Traders four and what I say to you, it was as delicious as Candace dealer bassts fashion. 00:02:07 Speaker 3: So let's just get right into it. 00:02:10 Speaker 1: So we found out Dustin at the top of episode four that Caroline Stansbury was murdered. 00:02:20 Speaker 3: She was, she was, but how do you feel about that? 00:02:23 Speaker 1: The funny thing to me, though, is when she saw that it was Lisa, Renna, Candace and Rob, she literally said. 00:02:33 Speaker 3: Renda, you bitch like she did? 00:02:36 Speaker 4: That was that was classic classic. You can't make that kind of stuff up. And so the fact that they had that exchange, or she was literally chained to a tree and speaking through clinched teeth. 00:02:47 Speaker 2: With that accent. 00:02:48 Speaker 4: Okay, that was that was television gold Carlos, television gold Man. 00:02:54 Speaker 2: That was so good. 00:02:56 Speaker 3: It was really good. 00:02:57 Speaker 1: But I have to admit I wasn't I wasn't a probed in the beginning because I'm like, wait a second, Like I thought the housewives were supposed to stick together. So I wanted to ask you this, you've been watching this in season one, that sort of like be the sort of like unwritten rule that be housewives really do stick together, and it's a known pack for every season one. 00:03:25 Speaker 4: That's just the it's it's cold almost you know what I'm saying, Like, you don't go against your sisterhood or else you're gonna be sitting up there like Jennifer Williams was sitting up there on basketball. 00:03:34 Speaker 3: Was the supposed to be a sisterhood right now? 00:03:38 Speaker 4: No sisterhood, that's that's how you're gonna fuck around the field, you know what I'm saying. 00:03:42 Speaker 2: But you're supposed to stick together. 00:03:44 Speaker 4: And you see the unity amongst the other groups in the cast to the gamers be rolling together in packs, you know what I'm saying. So I think that it is just it would make the most sense. You got to have some sort of like ally or connection to some damn body to start from to be able to build a theory, her come up with an idea about what the hell is going on, So it would served in will to stick together. 00:04:05 Speaker 2: But Lisa Renna said, fuck that. 00:04:08 Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, I don't give a fuck where you come from. 00:04:15 Speaker 3: When she came into the room. 00:04:18 Speaker 1: So obviously you know, the episode opens up, everybody goes to get breakfast. What I say to you, this show. And this is me speaking as a producer. This show is so well produced. I am super impressed with the format. I'm super impressed with the fact that not only for the audience, Dustin, but for the cast to all of us together have the same anticipation about who's going to walk through the breakfast doors to. 00:04:49 Speaker 3: See like who made it from the previous night. 00:04:52 Speaker 1: So when Lisa Renna walked in, you know, you had Ron tell this story about what he saw. He saw, but what he heard an experience, you know, being blindfolded because they were trying to say, like, okay, who was the trader because the Traders were killing a playing sight. Now, when Lisa Renna walked in, not sure about you, Dustin. 00:05:16 Speaker 3: I'm a fan of Days of All Lives. Lisa Renna. 00:05:20 Speaker 1: She was Bobby on Days of Our Lives. She's a great actress. When Lisa Renda was asked, so what happened, She's like, oh, canna get some tea firs. That to me, to me would have been the red flag because she could not. 00:05:39 Speaker 3: She can't think on the spot. And I was shocked because she is an actress. 00:05:43 Speaker 4: Yeah, I had higher expectations to this. The Traders is a game where a person that's an actor or good at like kind of keeping their game face on. The shout out to u Letitia from Bell Collector. Remember when her and Glenn was was going back for you get your game face on. My game face been on. Remember that part. That's what we need to put on Traders, Laticia. But anyway, you know, Paul, Traders, what put Laticia in some of that Mississippi in the Traders game. But I think this is a game where you have to it would serve It seems to me like an actor or an actress would be served well by their skill set, you know what I'm saying, of keeping their face devoid of emotion or being able to play into the moment. So I don't under like you, Carlos. I didn't understand why Lisa was falling flat like that in the end the damn breakfast. And she's been doing that ship every day at the breakfast. It's always too much or over the top or just a reaction that to me, I would our clock. I would have been Pete Lisa as a trailer. As a trailer the jokes right themselves, But nah, I would have been Pete Lisa as a trader. You know what I'm saying, I would. 00:06:57 Speaker 1: Have yes, and we'll we'll get to the where Lisa's you know, sort of acting or lack thereof, I should say, it's really causing some people to suspect her. But you know, you you do talk about the fact that it sort of is like this. 00:07:14 Speaker 3: Unwritten rule where the. 00:07:18 Speaker 1: Gamers stick by each other, the housewives stick by each other. 00:07:24 Speaker 3: Listen, I thought black people stick by each other. 00:07:28 Speaker 2: And what rodn't listen Listen. 00:07:34 Speaker 1: That is something that to me really highlighted this episode in terms. 00:07:39 Speaker 3: Of black people. I'm gonna need y'all to have some sort of solidarity. 00:07:45 Speaker 1: I'm gonna need y'all to sort of stick by each other. I am rooting for the black people. We are disent franchised, and you guys are doing that at all. As I sort of saw ron Real continuously trying. 00:08:03 Speaker 2: To, you know, go after the black girl, say it. 00:08:06 Speaker 4: That's what he was doing, and it didn't make no sense. And Candace, bless her heart, she trying her best to hold the black block down. She trying her best even as a trader man. Candidsy when they be on they was on the way that they were on Tiffany at the round table, Candace tried her best to kind of pivot the energy off of her and put it back onto Ron. 00:08:26 Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. 00:08:27 Speaker 4: Anytime Candace really has been trying to do to stick to the code as much as she could as a trader. Respect that, you know what I'm saying. Like she got in there, she got the heat off of Porsche. You know what I'm saying, She kind of tried to get the heat off of Tiffany. Like Candas is doing her job and Ron for some reason is obsessed with doing what he's been doing at that round table. I just put it to you like that, and I do not, for the life of me, understand why. And as a comedian myself, I. 00:08:56 Speaker 2: Ain't heard one joke yet. Where is the funny shit? Nigga? 00:09:03 Speaker 4: You a whole comedian, and you in a castle in Scotland with a bunch of motherfuckers, you don't know there is boundless opportunity to make us laugh. 00:09:12 Speaker 2: I ain't laugh one time. 00:09:12 Speaker 4: I've been rolling my eyes at his ass the whole time. 00:09:16 Speaker 3: I have to listen. 00:09:18 Speaker 1: He's up there with Michael Rappaport in terms of being unlikable I and I hate to say this because I don't know Ron, and I've met him for the first time watching the show, saying I am annoyed by him when he talks, when he enters the scene, I find him and listen, which is good producing, and that's why it was. It's a great casting job at the casting producers. 00:09:46 Speaker 3: Dead Ron gets under. 00:09:48 Speaker 1: My skin the way that Purdue Chicken, as you outlined last week under Michael Rappaport. 00:09:56 Speaker 4: Yes, and they got his ass to fuck up out of there too. They they flat out said, we don't care if you're a traitor or a faithful We just want your ass up out of here. So I think that we were kind of on the beat on the pulse with our commentary last week about how much we can't stand his ass. I can't stand Michael re report. But guess what I'm very happy about. We don't even have to talk about his ass anymore. So that's what I'm most happy about. And he's gonna get cussed the funk out. They're gonna rag tag him at their reunion and I cannot wait. They're gonna tear his ass up at the reunion. So we have one more window of pleasure of seeing him, you know, just being hummeled with insults and real accusations of shit that he did. 00:10:41 Speaker 2: I can't wait. 00:10:42 Speaker 4: So but for now, like Candace said, ding dong, okay, the witch is did gone. 00:10:48 Speaker 2: Okay. 00:10:49 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:10:49 Speaker 1: So as the episode started, we find out Caroline got murdered. 00:10:55 Speaker 3: He asks why. Candace says, you talked too much. 00:11:04 Speaker 1: Candace is killing and I thing with Candace is so subtle, you know, She's like, you talk too much, and that's. 00:11:13 Speaker 2: What reason she don't give it. Damn, she ain't never gave it, damn. 00:11:16 Speaker 4: But in this space, it's so beautiful to watch her be like that because she is a perfect fucking trader, Carlos, She is a perfect trader. She stood there, she had her hood on and had her damn lander. She was holding her landing up. You talk too much, that's. 00:11:35 Speaker 2: What she taught her. I was like, yeah, and that's all it takes. 00:11:41 Speaker 3: That's that's all it take. You talk too much. So Caroline's out of there. 00:11:45 Speaker 1: So everybody is at the breakfast and trying to figure out, like, Okay, which trader that was that killed in plain sight is going to have a story that matches everyone else Lisa rent of flops but it doesn't really go anywhere, and Tiffany is on four people. 00:12:07 Speaker 3: She's like, look, I feel like jam jam My go. 00:12:13 Speaker 1: And like she said, jam jam. 00:12:17 Speaker 2: Michael oh and who was the third one? 00:12:22 Speaker 1: Michael tho was those three Cultent thinks it's Tiffany and Coltent is like Dustin, I am going after Tiffany. 00:12:34 Speaker 4: I didn't like that personally. I didn't like that. I felt like his It's one thing, you know, I'm a I'm literally a professional ship talker, right, so there's a science and there's a way of method. There's a nuance in the way you gotta do that, and I don't care. Sorry, I did not like seeing him go back and forth with Tiffany like that. I didn't like that whole Well, it's your name two fster one. I didn't like none of that. I'm so I know when gay men are doing gay men shit. I didn't like that, and I wanted to cuss Colton out. And I really liked Colton before that scene when they went after Tiffany like that in that ballroom. I'm fine with the gameplay. There's no rule, well there's rules, but there's no rules as far as you know how to play this game, per se. So I was alright with it. I just didn't like the way he did it, and I definitely didn't like his fucked up ass, pompous, arrogant ass attitude afterwards. Well, oh well, I'm gonna take shots anyway. Okay, Well then they gonna take him at too, too. And from the looks at what happened in episodes of four and five yr, A's gonna be going hes gonna be a Coke forty five baby shot out the door. 00:13:37 Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. 00:13:38 Speaker 4: And next thing we know, right, yeah, and it's of his own fault, you know what I'm saying, Like, why are you playing the game like that? 00:13:45 Speaker 2: Him? 00:13:45 Speaker 3: Man? 00:13:46 Speaker 4: Well, I don't want to jump too far ahead, but it's somebody wise cuss out. 00:13:51 Speaker 1: This is reality with the King, and I'm Carlos King. Let's get back into the show. 00:13:58 Speaker 3: Yeah. 00:13:58 Speaker 1: No, the thing is so he for some reason, he has eyesell on Tiffany. And listen our recap last week. You know a lot of the Big Brother fans were like, Carlos Dustin, Tiffany is that girl? 00:14:13 Speaker 3: He is the one to look out for. 00:14:15 Speaker 1: Maybe Colton had insight that she's a formidable opponent. So, like you said, I understand the game because you are allowed to suspect who you want to. So the first challenge was the spare game, and you know they're trying to figure out, like, okay, who are we going to pretty much put up for murder? Monette tells Candas that he is suspecting Lisa, and he's onto Lisa. Candace did the right thing. She's playing the game extremely well. She gives Lisa Renna a hits up. Now we are rooting for the black people, but it's still a game, so you have to sort of decipher like okay, his mother better. 00:15:00 Speaker 3: Good of the community or the better good of. 00:15:03 Speaker 1: The game of the show so I can get this money at the end. And I thought Canada did a great job putting Lisa Renna up on game. 00:15:12 Speaker 4: Yep, she walked the line very well because again Candice did her basket. 00:15:16 Speaker 2: As smart as fuck. 00:15:17 Speaker 4: She's a smart woman in real life, and she's her intellect is really carrying her through this game, and she's making her choices as far as who to talk to was she's talking. 00:15:26 Speaker 2: To them about. 00:15:27 Speaker 4: I just I am very very impressive with the way Candas is playing this game, and that was another example of her making a great choice. 00:15:35 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:15:36 Speaker 1: So at the end the once Upper murders Michael, Tiffany, Lisa, Ron, Monet, Mara, Tara, Johnny, and Steven Baby, we're now in the war room, okay, and Colton goes after Tiffany and as somebody who has produced up until season nine of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Tiffany, come. 00:16:04 Speaker 3: Get your batty chain. 00:16:06 Speaker 1: I haven't seen a read a drag session so effortlessly put the way Tiffany drag like. No, like Dustin, you are comedian, a professional shit talker. 00:16:22 Speaker 3: Please explain to. 00:16:23 Speaker 1: The range how formidable and smart that you must be for Tiffany to take what your opponent. 00:16:32 Speaker 3: Is saying, take what they're saying, and apply it back to them. When it came to. 00:16:39 Speaker 1: Him and Eric, because Eric said, when I was up for murder, I heard a laugh and dusted. I really thought my girl Candy, because Candy's after laughed. Use that, Tiffany, I'm like, not all black girls sound like. 00:16:56 Speaker 4: Go ahead, Dustin, And that's exactly where I went with it, because did you think it was Tiffany? Why you know what I'm saying, why did you think that big as your motherfucking ears are? You should have known to be and you so, I do music and my ears look like car doors, and I should be able to hear somebody. You know what I'm saying, Nigga, motherfucker Lamborghini ears. You know what I'm saying. The ears go up. I ain't never seen nothing like that. How did you know who that was? Obviously you didn't. And he was so sure, you know what I'm saying, that that was Tiffany, and she just literally said, Okay, I know that they're about to vote for me, but I'm going to let them have it on the way out this door. And that's what she did. She told him, no, I'm smarter than you. I'm smarter than you. She was clear about that, and that's what made him get to He felt that that hit Coulton in his male ego, and so he got to a nasty the clause the press ons came. 00:17:51 Speaker 2: Out, you know what I'm saying. 00:17:53 Speaker 4: So and so that's that's what happened, and so he literally said what he said, but it was too late because Tiffany had so eloquently eviscerated him with a few words too, packed him up and packed jam Jam up real quick. 00:18:08 Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I'm talking to you. 00:18:13 Speaker 4: That's not something you can teach someone either, as we've seen with multiple people. We've been talking about these shows for years. Y'all know how many and Cargos feel about people who are quick on their feet, who can think fast and know how to do callbacks and use wordplay in a way that is fascinating. 00:18:31 Speaker 2: And Tiffany's one of the old school. She's just got it. 00:18:34 Speaker 4: She's got that that thing that you have to have to be able to do what she did at that roundtable, because everyone can't. That's why a lot of people be writing lines you know what I'm saying about stuff pizza box and stuff like that that y'all still repeat, but they're written and you can always tell. 00:18:49 Speaker 2: The difference between the two. 00:18:52 Speaker 4: Since we talked about Traders, it ties in Righters family Traders alone. 00:19:07 Speaker 3: Oh my fan, that wall was for you. Okay, No, what Eric said? 00:19:20 Speaker 1: The thing about Eric, you listen, Eric was so convinced that he was right when he was like, look, I'm a songwriter, I have good ears and Tiffany says, you might kneel another career. 00:19:34 Speaker 4: Hello, tore him up, tore him up. Tiffany, let me, let's we could take it back for just a second to the challenge when they were when they were burning them shields and putting them spears in those things, and when they said Tiffany's name. 00:19:49 Speaker 2: This was a very black episode. Cars. 00:19:51 Speaker 4: This is probably the blackest episode of the season so far, because Tiffany and Candice was on that the whole episode when Tiffany I wrote it in my notes when they burned tiffany ship, but Tiffany was acting black as hell when they burn her shield, I. 00:20:03 Speaker 2: Know the fuck they didn't who y'all unchilled? She was and it was natural. That was natural, man. 00:20:12 Speaker 3: But that's a reaction. 00:20:15 Speaker 4: Had me rolling man, her and her She had me rolling jam. 00:20:19 Speaker 2: Jam crying when they burnt his shield was ridiculous. I'm gonna get killed. It's just literally broken. I'm like, what the fuck is wrong with Jam? Jam? Is it? Look? Is it the alstitude? What's wrong with this motherfucker? 00:20:35 Speaker 1: Man? 00:20:36 Speaker 2: Like, why is he crying like a basket case out here? Because he's like, what it up? Man? So that was funny. 00:20:43 Speaker 4: And then one other really black moment that happened in episode far they had me rolling. 00:20:48 Speaker 2: Was when they first got the castle and they. 00:20:51 Speaker 4: Was all in the kitchen trying to talk and Candice literally bust in the door. 00:20:56 Speaker 2: Don't be closing the doors up in here? 00:20:58 Speaker 3: What's that? 00:21:06 Speaker 4: I said, Okay, this that. 00:21:10 Speaker 3: Not only listen. 00:21:15 Speaker 1: The beauty of this too is I feel like perhaps you and I and baby there was some black people really understood that moment with us through that kitchen because listen, growing up black as a child, you're not allowed to close your bedroom door. No, yes, well you and your mama ain't knocking on your door before she walks in that motherfucker. 00:21:38 Speaker 4: No no, and don't be within the You can't be in the radio said that swing because you will get hit with that door when they come in forcefully like that. And Kandicen had a baby, you know, so her black mama instincts on ten right now she opened that mother, don't be closing no doors up in here with you. Other I said, I love Candy on this show. 00:22:02 Speaker 2: On this show. 00:22:03 Speaker 3: No, she's good. Listen, Kevin's good. 00:22:06 Speaker 2: I can't get enough, bro, I. 00:22:08 Speaker 1: Can't get enough either, Like I said, her outfite the people that she wore stocking. 00:22:13 Speaker 3: She's just she is, she's she's it. She really did it. But that was a good moment. 00:22:21 Speaker 1: My favorite moment from Tiffany speaking of another black woman, I mean black. 00:22:24 Speaker 3: Moment is with. 00:22:27 Speaker 1: Like you said, when Colton said, is it to f Tiffany? And she goes, Tiffany like. 00:22:33 Speaker 2: The company right right, right, right right? And he know what that is. 00:22:39 Speaker 4: He was on The Bachelor, you know about wedding jewelry, so okay, you know exactly what Tiffany she was talking about. She tore him up because he thought that was cute, you know what I'm saying. He thought he had one in the chambers or one half. 00:22:53 Speaker 3: What? 00:22:54 Speaker 4: And then the whole time Colton was the whole time I got to take my glasses off of this one. 00:22:59 Speaker 2: The whole time Colton. 00:23:00 Speaker 4: Was in the the round table having that conversation trying to banish Tiffany, he was looking like he. 00:23:06 Speaker 2: Was in the eye doctor looking at that thing. We gotta read that. It's a two extra one. What he was doing. I was like, what is this motherfucker guy? What's in his eyes? You know what I'm saying? Why is his eyes like that? Yeah? He was like stuck in it. 00:23:32 Speaker 3: Was surprise. 00:23:33 Speaker 2: It was like, yeah, it was like, what is wrong with you? 00:23:36 Speaker 1: Man? You could tell best and and for me, Tiffany really did a fantastic job. And you could tell those boys were afraid of her. 00:23:49 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:23:50 Speaker 3: And what I did not like was the gang up. 00:23:54 Speaker 1: We'll get to the voting in a second, because I have some bones and picking people, but you could tell they were intimidated by Tiffany and all of her blackness and how strong she is and how self assure she is, and to the point where for me, if I never I never met Tiffany, So if I'm at the table, yes, I would be like, well, Eric does sound convincing. But there's something about Tiffany that, unless she went to the Angela Bassett school of acting, her passion for being like it's not me, I would have believed her. And I think that's why Candace, who obviously knows she's not a trader, when she talked about needing the money for her son and how it's bigger than just a game like she's trying to she wants the money and she's very honest about it. And I thought for me when Candas said, look, I'm not gonna cry. 00:24:57 Speaker 3: That to me showed you like, look, you could be in and for the game. 00:25:01 Speaker 1: You could be in a to win, but at some point in this game you do have to have some sort of heart and show you humanity. And I thought Candice did a fantastic job of being like, I'm seeing this black woman who's a single mom crying and I know she's not the trader, and I'd rather get Ron asked out of here anyway, let me have her back. 00:25:25 Speaker 3: And I was very. 00:25:26 Speaker 1: Disappointed and the other people of color on that panel to not have a little bit of heart to be like, we were wrong before. I would rather be wrong for this because she's giving such a compassion speech. 00:25:42 Speaker 4: Yeah, it makes me want to know some questions because again, that's something that instinctually we just wouldn't move like that in that sort of space, And so it makes you wonder what the disconnect is. 00:25:53 Speaker 2: I'm sick of looking at Ron. You know, it was cool to have. 00:25:57 Speaker 4: Somebody in there that was throwing shit off and mixing things up, making, you know, fumbling around, making mistakes. But I'm sick of him now sauntering around that house like that, feet dragging the motherfucking floor every time he's walking through the house, his shoes making that shuffling noise, leaned over, k never stand up straight, always fucking shoulders in front of him. He's staying with his shoulders in front of him like this. He pulled his shoulders like this every time to walk in and he sit out and shit, surly Sully attitude always in there, got a goddamn problem about every motherfucking thing. Every time you see him sitting in there talking about what, yeah, my FAM's not ninety your fucking business, nigga, Derinda was trying to be nice to you and just extended olive branch. You weird, though it's not her fault. You don't know how to talk to no goddamn body. You're sitting up in the house biting your fingernails down to the cuticles every night talking about who don't know already want to be around you. Or maybe if he was more likable, bro, maybe if you had energy that made people want to have a conversation with you or play checkers or whatever the fuck they're doing up in the castle. Socially, you know what I'm saying. You need to get in there and get in that mix so that you can form those bonds and relationships. To me, it was unfair, unfair for him to lean on his made up idea that you know, there's this other I'm just not a part of the consensus. He's one of the motherfuckers that likes to other themselves and then act like they've been wrong by everybody else. 00:27:19 Speaker 2: That's what he is. 00:27:21 Speaker 4: He's one of those people, and nobody did nothing to him. In fact, he's been in there doing something to everybody else from the day he got in there. I'm so sick of Ron. I'm sick of him. But then Belted Coats sick of him, I am. 00:27:41 Speaker 1: And so it's tap for I can't think. 00:27:46 Speaker 3: I can't think that's that. It's tap for voting, and. 00:27:51 Speaker 1: Canvas is the only black person that half Tiffany's back Monette voted are out. 00:27:59 Speaker 3: Uh, we all know Ron was gonna do us. 00:28:01 Speaker 1: So that was no surprise, And it was just sad to see how everybody was convinced due to Eric hearing this is one thing. 00:28:14 Speaker 3: It's one thing to hear a voice. 00:28:17 Speaker 2: I laugh is different low. 00:28:19 Speaker 3: A laugh is very different. 00:28:21 Speaker 1: So to be so convinced that you heard Tiffany's laugh and this is no shade to Tiffany because I love Tiffany down, said you, Timmy, I'm wrong. 00:28:30 Speaker 3: I haven't heard Tiffany laugh once, not one time. 00:28:33 Speaker 2: That's what the Carlos. 00:28:34 Speaker 4: You took the words out of my mouth, brother, because number one, I haven't seen Tiffany and Eric in a joking moment laughing. How do he even know how she laughs? 00:28:44 Speaker 2: How? How do you know? 00:28:46 Speaker 4: And of all that shit y'all in the woods in Scotland, on them owls and shit hooting and snakes slithering and shit and wear wolves and whatever the fuck else is out there in the woods, and you heard Tiffany's laugh. Come on, man, I thought to me, that just felt what you like? What what you're trying to say right now? 00:29:03 Speaker 2: Bro? 00:29:04 Speaker 3: Yeah? 00:29:04 Speaker 1: And the thing is also this the only one that really laughs out of the Traders. 00:29:11 Speaker 3: Is Lisa Rena. 00:29:12 Speaker 1: Yeah, so again I thought, and listen, y'all, Saip we're talking about There was definitely something extra going on this episode when it came to like, look, it gave very much horror movie get the Black people out. 00:29:26 Speaker 3: At the beginning. 00:29:28 Speaker 1: It gave get out, Candace, watch your back. They want the black folks out. 00:29:32 Speaker 4: That's that's what it looked like to me, even the black folks want the black folks out. Ron Money and Monette, you really Monet really surprised me because Monet had been playing really good. 00:29:43 Speaker 2: Again, it's a game. 00:29:44 Speaker 4: These people literally have nothing to work with, so you have to come up with something to give you, like a hunch or a feeling that someone is a trader or whatever, unless they just make a sloppy mistake. But Tiffany didn't make no sloppy mistakes. And Monette, it's a certain time where you got to stick to the code. And you know that Monee, as a person who is different from everybody else and who has had to make their way in spaces that were not designed to support them being there, you understand what that's like. And I can't understand how y'all abandon that for the sake of a game. Now, it is a game, So let's be clear about that. It's a game, and people got to win and lose, and that's just the way it goes. 00:30:22 Speaker 2: That's a part of what you sign up for when you sign up for this show. 00:30:26 Speaker 4: But that being said, as a contestant, like, there's still a social game that has to be played and the rules of engagement will have a lot to do with how you're received by viewers of the show. 00:30:39 Speaker 1: So yes, and I also feel like, listen, one thing about Tiffany that I've learned from the rain drops telling me who she is. I heard about this cookout that Big so apparently Tiffany was the leader of the pack when it cames to the black people on Big Other coming together in solidarity to sort of win the game. 00:31:04 Speaker 3: Yes, only one person can can win, but it was sort of. 00:31:07 Speaker 1: Like I I'd rather play a game to where I know, like, look, let's have each other's back, because to me, it's sweeter in the end. 00:31:16 Speaker 3: If one of them gets one of a getting Yeah, and. 00:31:19 Speaker 1: I was surprised with Monette. I love him on BRU Paul's drag braids. He definitely highlights a lot of black women with his with his drag on the show. But when I saw those many people vote her out again, not to Cotnini Leaks and Dustin Bross again, it was very suspect. 00:31:43 Speaker 2: I'll leave it at that, very suspect. Yes, it was Carlos. 00:31:47 Speaker 3: It was suspect. 00:31:50 Speaker 1: I expect to get emotional watching Traders at all her Tiffany getting voted off and crying, Yeah, your boy lost it. 00:32:02 Speaker 2: Yeah it was a lot. I lost it. It was a lot. 00:32:04 Speaker 4: I just wish she would not have made the statement about how she wanted to win the money for her son, because they did what they was gonna do anyway, and that adds in, like the cruelty. I just wish that she would not have even offered that up because I knew it wasn't gonna be something that would convince them or sway their vote, And I hated that they were able to play on that. She gave them that vulnerability and they were able to play on it, and that pissed me off. That never is a good strategy to me. Y'all I need is money for my kid. I don't think that's ever a good strategy in these competition in reality show games like that, because everybody and his motherfucker want to win, you know what I'm saying, for whatever reasons they had. And I hated that she did that because it just was not a It wasn't a smart choice to me because it wouldn't help sway it one way or the other. 00:32:48 Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, I actually agree with you with that, And that's why I keep going back to Candace is playing the game right because she's consistent. And again I'm a newbie to this, but I feel like everybody around her and obviously each other, they are looking for inconsistencies. Yeah, yeah, And I feel like because she remains herself and she has been very honest, I found everybody, Ron, I am trying to get you out as motherfucker, and my opinion is not gonna sway. So everybody knows when it comes to Canvas, Candace's goal is to give Ron out, and I think that's. 00:33:27 Speaker 3: The reason why people aren't seeing her as a trader. 00:33:33 Speaker 4: And if I'm being real, sometimes Candace's countenance betrays her. Sometimes her facial expressions betray her. There's been a couple of moments where people have asked questions that will maybe raise some suspicion in her direction, and I've seen Candace go like or like or like people ask the question that she'll go, you know, And I think some of that is for TV because she knows the cameras are on. But I also think some of that changing her facial expression like that can tip off some of the other contestants. 00:34:07 Speaker 2: So she gotta watch. 00:34:08 Speaker 4: That she does good in the moment to me when she has to lie in stuff. But it's just the initial, you know, asking of the questions that sometimes throws her off her game a little bit, just in her face. It's never her posture, it's never like a it's just in her face. Sometimes she'll be like, you know, I see it. It goes straight to the camera. 00:34:31 Speaker 3: So yeah, yeah, no, that's a good point. That's a good point. 00:34:35 Speaker 1: So we see that after Tiffany gets voted off, the Traders are back in their own world Lisa, Rob and Candace, and that's when Candace, of course informs Lisa that Monaya's onto you, and Lisa is surprised by it and she's like, all right, well we need to so we need to murder him, and unfortunately Monet gets murdered. Dustin, do you think that was smart of the Traders to get rid of Monette so early? 00:35:13 Speaker 2: Hell? 00:35:14 Speaker 4: Yeah, ship the first first person sniffing around this door. You got to go flat out, you know what I'm saying. You know, you can't give them time to talk to the other contestants and create the suspicions and make it snowball into something bigger. Now, you got to cut that problem out at the root. Okay, since we're talking about black stuff at the writ so you know what I'm saying, Like he had to go. I totally understood that seeing money, and I have really been enjoying Monet on the show. So I hated to see Monet get murdered. 00:35:46 Speaker 2: But it was time. 00:35:48 Speaker 3: Me too, Me too, Me too, No, it was time. 00:35:50 Speaker 1: And listen, I've been enjoying his passions and he's very the people Monette, He's very likable. But I feel bad for Monette too because we're talking about solidarity. And he did tell his sister Canvas who he is suspecting. 00:36:05 Speaker 3: But Canvas had to do the right thing. Like you said, if. 00:36:08 Speaker 1: Someone is sniffing at the front door, they got to go. So Monet's olivert. They're playing another game at this point, your boy Ron. He thinks the traders are Michael and Dorenda. 00:36:28 Speaker 2: Once again, loud and wrong and dumb. 00:36:31 Speaker 4: Once again, always gotta he has just mister bad ideas, ain't he? Every time you open this goddamn mouth, it's another bad idea during da every every time, man, like, bro, are you even trying to put any of this shit together? You just be loud and wrong every fucking time, Like, come on, Ron, the Porsche thing. Okay, what did I agree with him putting her up for elimination? No, but I did understand why because Porsche had literally. 00:37:02 Speaker 2: Handed him her gameplay on a platter. This time. 00:37:06 Speaker 4: You just flat out wrong all the way off, you know what I'm saying. 00:37:11 Speaker 2: And I just it's just embarrassing. Man, Damn. 00:37:15 Speaker 3: What is his strategy? You think? Because when he when he brings up these names, he. 00:37:24 Speaker 2: Look. 00:37:24 Speaker 1: I watched the show too, and basically what I'm seeing, I feel like he never has a very specific reason as to why he thinks that that makes sense. 00:37:34 Speaker 3: The Porsche think. 00:37:34 Speaker 1: Okay, fine, we know Porscha not to be able to articule herself. 00:37:38 Speaker 3: Well, fine, got that. 00:37:41 Speaker 1: But for the past, like a couple of episodes after Porsche, I do feel like he's just throwing names out too. 00:37:47 Speaker 4: I think he goes up in that room at night after everybody did, and I think he'd be up in there eating boogers with that notepad and a pin and you know what I'm saying, thinking about everybody he can't stand. 00:37:59 Speaker 2: And I think he got a head list. I think he got a hell list. Who's the people that tonight tonight, angsty. You know what I'm saying. 00:38:06 Speaker 4: He wanted them motherfuckers, them jumping around underneath the bridge, motherfuckers. 00:38:10 Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. That's that's one of him. Man. 00:38:12 Speaker 4: He's an emo, He's an emo comedian. So I really think he'd be up in that room, man biting his cuticles and ship like this, thinking on who he's gonna kill, hung and get time, hunging, get funtion the time. 00:38:26 Speaker 2: During that every time. I think that's what it is. Man. 00:38:28 Speaker 4: He wanted them motherfuckers, man, and you can tell, and his ass got to go. 00:38:32 Speaker 2: It's time, man, Ron gotta go. 00:38:35 Speaker 3: You're want to be right, he's his boogers. 00:38:37 Speaker 4: Yeah, eating buggers and shit, wearing a leather bracelet with Stever studs. 00:38:43 Speaker 2: On it and ship tonight tonight. You wanted them motherfuckers, man. You know that's what he is. Man. Sick of Ron Dog, I'm sick of Man. He gotta go, he gotta go. 00:38:58 Speaker 3: Something. What have you thought from? Okay? 00:39:04 Speaker 1: All right, so your boy Michael Rapper part the definition of unhinged. 00:39:12 Speaker 3: This is before the warrobe. I don't listen. I don't know. 00:39:17 Speaker 1: If they pat the cast down before they go to the house, if there is a sniffing dog that sniffs the suitcase. 00:39:28 Speaker 3: Michael appears to be on something. I don't know what it is. 00:39:30 Speaker 1: I'm not accusing of nothing, allegedly, allegedly the unhinged attitude that he has. And again, this is way before we get into the warm room where they obviously are trying to vote someone off. He is going off on Colton, calling him a trader, and he's just. 00:39:52 Speaker 3: He's basshit crazy. 00:39:54 Speaker 2: He absolutely is. 00:39:55 Speaker 4: And well, let me tell you what, Michael Rapperport is right if you pay attention to the way he been saying since he's we'll just stick with the traders, right on the traders. In his interview scenes, anytime he's talking to the other people he's not in the confrontation. He has a incessant need to purport himself as a tough guy that comes from the bricks. And you know what I'm saying, he really wants us to believe. Yeah, you know, I'm from New York City and you had to be tough, and you know, I'm just a fighter. 00:40:28 Speaker 2: I just got it in me. 00:40:29 Speaker 4: I'm just one of those guys. Man, I'm gonna talk come back at you, and you're gonna come back at you. And he does all of that shit. That's his whole thing. He likes cosplaying as a tough urban character, and he seems to be obsessed with like urban black culture and like people having stories from you know, rougher upbringings and shit and earning their stripes, so to speak. He's obsessed with that and he wants that, so he's trying to cosplay as that. 00:40:56 Speaker 2: And you can tell. You can tell when he's. 00:40:58 Speaker 4: In arguments with people the an aa ve that he tries to use all the time and that he uses incorrectly, which is so funny because typically white people that try to do that, they always fuck it up. 00:41:09 Speaker 2: And came speaking off beat, you know what I'm saying, like he was doing. You're trying to put together another bullshit. 00:41:19 Speaker 4: What that doesn't even make sense, Like you don't even know what you're talking about. So just stop just be yourself, man, Which is too late because he's old as a heel now, so like, but if he, if he would just learn how to just be himself and stop trying to be a fucking rapper or a housewife or whatever else he's obsessed with. 00:41:38 Speaker 2: At the time. 00:41:38 Speaker 4: He's one of those people that pays attention to whatever, like. 00:41:42 Speaker 2: The trending you know, yeah. 00:41:45 Speaker 4: Words that people are using at the time and shit, and he tries to put him in his vocabulary and it sounds so out of place. Motherfucker. You don't talk like that. Nobody actually talks like that because you're doing it wrong. 00:41:56 Speaker 2: You know. I'm not gonna go too deep. 00:41:58 Speaker 4: But that's who he is, and it does not serve him well as he can see because even in his exit. 00:42:04 Speaker 2: Interview, which was ridiculous of itself, but. 00:42:07 Speaker 4: Even in his ex interview, he was like, maybe no, I played too hard and pushed too far. 00:42:13 Speaker 2: I just went too far with that's you know, him just got to be who I am. And he's one of those people. 00:42:17 Speaker 1: Man. 00:42:18 Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not real. 00:42:23 Speaker 1: One of the biggest controversial things that happens episode, so you know, it's pretty much Coulton versus Michael, and Michael obviously is fighting for his life. He doesn't have becompassion that a Tiffany had when she was fighting for her life. He made a comment Dust and I'd love to get her thoughts on it. Social media split on this. He made a comment as he and Colton have going back and forth about, well, you have a history of keeping secrets, so that's what would make you a good trader. 00:43:00 Speaker 3: Colton said, you are. 00:43:02 Speaker 1: Talking about my sexuality because rain jobs nout ship. 00:43:06 Speaker 2: You know this. 00:43:07 Speaker 1: Coulton was on The Bachelor as a straight man and. 00:43:24 Speaker 2: Who was the contestants? Man? Was it? Was it? The season? Was it? The season of everybody was? 00:43:30 Speaker 4: Did they had them traders blindfolds on this on that show? 00:43:34 Speaker 2: Too? 00:43:34 Speaker 1: What? 00:43:35 Speaker 2: Like? Like, how didn't you know? That's all I want to know, man, how did he pull that one off? How? Because what you mean you won't hear today the woman Coulton, your name Coulton that that alone? You know what I'm saying. 00:43:52 Speaker 3: You are. 00:43:58 Speaker 2: I digress? 00:44:00 Speaker 4: Where is Michael Rappaport saying that they was in an argument? 00:44:03 Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. 00:44:04 Speaker 4: And I didn't He didn't call him a fag or I'm sure I have to beat that. But he didn't call him, like you know what I'm saying, no names like that. He just said what he said. And he did allude to him keeping the secret of his sexual or he did allude to there being a change in his sexual trajectory. 00:44:21 Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. He did allude to that, and I wish he would have just stood in it. He did. 00:44:26 Speaker 4: He should have just said it, like, well, coachd we know that for a long time. You know, you were living one way and then surprise, surprise, here you come out and now you're a gay man. So maybe there is some possibility there for you to keep a secret. 00:44:39 Speaker 2: We don't know. That's all he had to say. Yeah, you know what. 00:44:43 Speaker 3: I'm saying, Man, I didn't. I didn't. 00:44:45 Speaker 1: It took listen when he said it, this is again I'm alone in this. I didn't see it that way when he said that, I did. I didn't see them til people started saying it, and then I have to rewind. Then I said, oh, and then but obviously at the time he was apologizing in the interviews, but honest saying the moment he said it, I didn't clock it because I guess for me, I couldn't stomach the. 00:45:09 Speaker 3: Both of them anyway. 00:45:11 Speaker 2: Yeah, but. 00:45:13 Speaker 3: I at the time did not take it that way. That's all I want to know. If you plocked it immediately. 00:45:21 Speaker 4: Absolutely, I have a sixth sense when it comes to any sort of homophobia, racism, microaggression. 00:45:26 Speaker 2: Shit like that. I pick up on it really fast. 00:45:29 Speaker 4: And also I expected that's the thing, like, yeah, he was, he was wrong hisself for saying it. I'm not about to cape for colding. We'll say, is you know what I'm saying, like, that's what it was. And I wish Michael's rappaport would have just stood it. And of course he's a lion, no good motherfucker, so we knew he wasn't gonna stand it and and just say that's what he meant. But that's one hundred percent what he was talking about. And it was what you call a nasty you know, a nasty read. That's what that was in that argument. But it definitely was rooted in homophobia. And it wasn't thinly veiled either, it just was what it was. 00:46:05 Speaker 2: Was I offended by it, nah, number one. 00:46:07 Speaker 4: Because I don't care what he say to Culton, to be honest with you, to let them host fight. But beyond that, I expected, you know what I'm saying. I expect you if you know I'm gay and we arguing or whatever, I'm not gonna be caught off guard by you saying something homophobic to me. 00:46:22 Speaker 2: That don't make what you're saying. 00:46:23 Speaker 4: Okay, but I know you're gonna do that, so I'm already gonna come back twenty times harder on you, you know what I'm saying. So I wasn't surprised. It was actually a lazy play. To me, I was like, oh about time. I knew you was gonna do it eventually, So. 00:46:38 Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. 00:46:39 Speaker 1: And if you think about the character of who Michael Rappaport has shown himself to be attacking black women, and then you know, saying something alluded to alluding to Colton's sexuality or just being upfront about it, and I did feel like the reasons why in his exit interview, I like to call it, he tried to, of course desynthesize what he said because he knew that the backlash was going to happen the moment that episode was going to be aired. And now that we are talking about it, like I said, me being honest, when he said the comment, I didn't see anything because I wasn't paying attention, maybe until everybody at the table started talking about it. Then I'm like, let me rewind it. Okay, that's the part, and then it reminded me. Not sure, if you know this dustin. Last week, Michael Rappaport was going off on a lot of gay people on Twitter. 00:47:38 Speaker 3: No on TikTok. Do you know about this? 00:47:40 Speaker 2: No? 00:47:41 Speaker 1: Oh, I'll send it to you. So listen, last week you and I included and at the rest of the world, not just the gays. The world was reading him, even Portie. He would comment on gay content creators pages and say. 00:48:02 Speaker 3: Whatever girl, capital G I R L. 00:48:07 Speaker 1: He even referred to someone's pronounce as day when when they haven't even said what they are because they're common traders, and how much they dislike him. 00:48:17 Speaker 3: He said, okay, day, I guess you mad day. 00:48:20 Speaker 1: So again, once I started to remember what he said last week, that's when I said. 00:48:26 Speaker 3: Oh shit, this motherfucker was something homophobic. 00:48:30 Speaker 1: Because his behavior last week on TikTok. He was calling gay men who wasn't talking about their sexuality they're common to show he was calling them girl. 00:48:42 Speaker 3: And I saw this with my own. 00:48:43 Speaker 4: Eyes to and something he was and that's it. He thinks he's smart, he thinks that he's ready for a battle of wits and a war of words, per se, and nothing. 00:48:52 Speaker 2: Would give his his his his. 00:48:56 Speaker 4: I'm not gonna say that because that was too far, nothing would give his heart joy right. 00:49:01 Speaker 2: Then to okay, broth nothing growth. 00:49:07 Speaker 4: Also, I want them to shut this show all the way down. 00:49:12 Speaker 2: I just texted to you anyway. 00:49:14 Speaker 4: But you know, he would love nothing more than to get the thrill of winning an argument with somebody who's black, or somebody who's gay, or somebody who's any of the marginalized communities that he actually idolizes. Right, And so he's one of the motherfuckers. You just can't give your time, you know what I'm saying. You can't go back and forth with him. You can't go you can't allow him to gold you into a moment that for him will be like a trophy, you know what I'm saying. 00:49:41 Speaker 2: So he's one of those motherfuckers. 00:49:42 Speaker 4: You just got to call ugly and keep moving past, you know what I'm saying, Like that's it. 00:49:46 Speaker 1: He don't get yeah, and you know it's bad when at this point there were a lot of faithfuls who were saying, I don't care if you are trade or not. Get the fuck out, Like I don't want to be around you anymore, like you want you want a house, And that is indicative of someone's personality. And behavior, and I'll end by saying this and Dustin, I don't love you. 00:50:10 Speaker 3: Saw this Poorsha. 00:50:12 Speaker 1: Williams or her press tour after getting voted off the show, She said, Michael was worse than what we're seeing and he needs to be thinking, editing. 00:50:26 Speaker 4: I believe every word. I believe every word. I believe it. He was a basket case, a loose cannon in the house. Those people didn't feel safe around him. He already looks like a monster from a fucking Halloween movie anyway. So when you see somebody like that, looking like a weeping willow tree and shit coming towards you with their mouth open, spit coin the corners of their mouth, strings of flem and spit all in their mouth, rotten teeth, spewing all that bullshit that you all over that, you know, the food on traders, just be out. 00:50:58 Speaker 2: I ain't seen a cover on a dish yet. 00:51:00 Speaker 3: Well, like Son, he's like, yeah, yeah, yeah. 00:51:04 Speaker 2: Exactly, like a filthy mongrel. Man. He's just He's just a filthy buzzard. That's what he is. Man. I'm glad, good riddens. 00:51:12 Speaker 4: I'm glad his ass and and and his bed sores and shit are gone. 00:51:16 Speaker 2: I'm glad he's gone. See ya this time. Man, the fuck on. 00:51:21 Speaker 4: Thank god, now we can actually play a game without chaos. He's one of those people that is just fueled by chaos and creating dissension. You know what I'm saying, Like, just fucking play the game if you so good. And another thing, you know you ugly because he keeps saying that you're getting rid of the best looking. You know that you're ugly. So I don't have to like to shout out to the movie Paris is Burning. I don't have to tell you you're ugly because you know you're ugly, you know what I'm saying. So that's the thing he already know. 00:51:51 Speaker 3: Yeah, that part was. 00:51:52 Speaker 1: It's one of the things where listen, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right, but to not listen, but we all have eyes, the hills have eyes. So to know that you're not conditionally like like, for example, I never go for this type of man, but that motherfucker Rob and his overalls, Now that is a good looking man and the world knows he's good looking. 00:52:23 Speaker 2: Right. 00:52:24 Speaker 1: Michael Rappaport constantly referring to himself as good looking to me, Like you said, Dustin tells me everything I need to know about how he feels about himself because. 00:52:36 Speaker 4: That with him, that's why it comes from the inside out, Carlos. The ugliness, it's not when when we call him ugly, it's not so much about his physical appearance. When we've talked about his physical appearance, it's been about. 00:52:47 Speaker 2: Like his skin and stuff. We've never said that your face, your eyes are ugly. It's not that. 00:52:52 Speaker 4: It's his spirit, it's his energy, it's the intention that he has in every space and every conversation. He's consumed with negativity and he seems to be embattled to me, like he's just a person that is just it seems like a vortex of just sickness inside of him, you. 00:53:10 Speaker 2: Know what I'm saying. 00:53:11 Speaker 4: And so that's what comes out as ugly. It's his behavior, it's his thoughts, it's his words, it's his actions, and it is his skin. It's all those things, you know what I'm saying, Like, that's what makes him ugly. So but guess what, it don't matter what he looked like because we. 00:53:26 Speaker 3: Ain't got to look at him no more. 00:53:30 Speaker 1: Talk about a celebration last nights from watching the show come on that he's gone, because I feel like it will be Listen.
