Episode 124 - The Alpha Legion pt3, death of Alpharius, and the Omegon, and then Alpharius again, and again maybe?

The 40k Lorecast

On today’s cast we conclude our coverage of the alpha legion with a start on the events of Pluto and the first (of many) recorded deaths of their Primarch(s). From there we move on to Eskrador and another death of their Primarch(s). After that we jump into some of our favorite codex short stories on alpha legion. Trying to show the nefarious and elaborate plans they have been enacting all around the galaxy for the last 10,000 years.

[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the Forty K-Lorecast.
[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome to Forty Kaylorcast with me, John Barsadian, Brad Chester.
[SPEAKER_02]: This guy.
[SPEAKER_02]: Today, we're going to close out our coverage for now of the wildest of the legions, alpha legions.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, because today, all the primarcs are going to die, but then they're not going to die, or maybe they are going to die.
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe, as always, it was just 10.
[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's always 10.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, as always, Forty Kaylorcast.
[SPEAKER_02]: Forty-K lorecast, weekly show focused in the lore of the Warhammer 40K universe, releasing every Monday at 7 p.m. Eastern.
[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for all the comments and follow us if you haven't done that, please do it.
[SPEAKER_02]: It does help push us out a lot further.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to either show you find some links to our YouTube channel where you can find our bi monthly Q&As and some other bits and bobs that we've done.
[SPEAKER_02]: Our other show, The History of 40K, which guides into the history
[SPEAKER_02]: Along with, if you want to support us, links to both our merchandise and our Patreon.
[SPEAKER_02]: Our Patreon is really how we've been able to grow this show.
[SPEAKER_02]: So thank you all for contributing.
[SPEAKER_02]: It allows us to buy better microphones.
[SPEAKER_02]: It allows us to get better equipment.
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's looking at areas to expand the show out and into.
[SPEAKER_02]: It is $4.99 a month for that.
[SPEAKER_02]: You get this show and the history of 40K, add free.
[SPEAKER_02]: But if you're not in the US,
[SPEAKER_02]: You can get it for 33,390.05, Paraguayan, Guarani.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the city of Asso-Shone.
[SPEAKER_02]: So what we're gonna go today.
[SPEAKER_02]: Asso-Shone was a really deep history down in South America.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's actually a original city from with the Spanish, and the term they used was Explored South America, the people in South America, what are used a different term, or other words, for what the Spanish were doing there.
[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know.
[SPEAKER_02]: a different time, but no matter modern day, Osso's y'all is beautiful.
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's actually really right for tourism.
[SPEAKER_02]: Weirdly, it's one of the least expensive cities to visit in South America while also being one of the safest, which is a combo you don't usually get globally.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's all those two are usually mutually exclusive, which is great because Osso's y'all and the surrounding Paraguay is really beautiful.
[SPEAKER_02]: You've got great water from
[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of historic little Jesuits who came through there, no comment on what they did.
[SPEAKER_02]: Really cool waterfalls, because of where Paraguay sits kind of topographically, you've got a lot of mountains, high forest, really beautiful waterfalls, great hiking.
[SPEAKER_02]: So if you're looking for a great vacation with good food, because by the way, they do stake real well in that part of the world.
[SPEAKER_02]: Can I recommend that enough?
[SPEAKER_02]: So we're going down to Paraguay and enjoy yourself.
[SPEAKER_00]: Is there any chance we're getting something from them?
[SPEAKER_00]: Because that was a great tourism bit.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm 99.999 to repeat it forever.
[SPEAKER_00]: Sure, they have no idea we exist.
[SPEAKER_02]: We have like three listeners there.
[SPEAKER_02]: I can see, well, we have a heat map or a listener's high pick these places.
[SPEAKER_02]: I have a heat map and I'm like, oh, we have a listener there.
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's discuss Paraguay today and also because of my background, I've got a lot of friends from South America and I've known some Paraguay Indians, so that's also helps.
[SPEAKER_02]: But lastly, our discord, please.
[SPEAKER_02]: If you haven't joined a discord, join a discord.
[SPEAKER_02]: If you have our, join our discord, and you're not commenting it, go into a discord and have some fun.
[SPEAKER_02]: Our discord's awesome.
[SPEAKER_02]: Painting competition concluded recently, wow, you guys are good.
[SPEAKER_02]: But we've got some more of those coming up.
[SPEAKER_02]: Really great spot for discussions and upcoming episodes.
[SPEAKER_02]: Support alert, the end of this episode.
[SPEAKER_02]: The next show we're doing was picked effectively out of discord.
[SPEAKER_02]: People pushed for this for a while and we're doing it because of that.
[SPEAKER_02]: Also, great place to get clarification, let me know what I get wrong.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm still not wrong about Terminator 2 and, you know, more.
[SPEAKER_02]: So please hop in there as much as you want.
[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm willing to add down my friend.
[SPEAKER_02]: You were voted down.
[SPEAKER_02]: I was only voted down because I don't know how to rig the vote.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's the only reason I lost that.
[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
[SPEAKER_02]: Alright, back to Alpha Legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: With the invasion of Seoul, Horace had a big problem, and the big problem is Rokal Dorn.
[SPEAKER_02]: As much shit as Petarabo likes to talk, Horace knew that Gengher Dorn's defenses was not going to happen.
[SPEAKER_02]: It would have at best taxed him to the point where when he got to Terra, there would have been like three of them left, and the Emperor would have just flipped him in the face and said, go home.
[SPEAKER_00]: So Horace needs a couple of things.
[SPEAKER_00]: He needs to know what the hell he's coming into because also you have to figure that Horace actually hasn't been back there for a while in the first place.
[SPEAKER_02]: If hard to take a vacation there after it is to fund five, it's probably not over.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hey guys, just with it, take a look like peak around.
[SPEAKER_02]: What's going on here at Seoul?
[SPEAKER_00]: He needs that, but he also would like, hey man, you know, to be awesome.
[SPEAKER_00]: If somebody was screwing around with those defenses and or setting false fires, making them run around to the stop things that weren't actually showing up, you know, super good at that.
[SPEAKER_00]: The alcohol age.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, maybe I should send them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Also, he should have had a loyalty test before he did this, because who knows how good this is going to work out.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, the truth is it's likely basically guaranteed that Alpha agent had already been doing this just because this is what they do.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: So when he said, hey, I need someone to go infiltrate soul.
[SPEAKER_02]: He probably was just looking at Alpha agent, hey, could you guys go do this thing that you're totally haven't already done?
[SPEAKER_02]: And we're both going to pretend that, you know, they're sitting with wires and explosives going, yes, we do that.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we'll go we'll go get on that right now.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're gonna start doing that right now.
[SPEAKER_02]: We weren't doing it before it all, but right now We're gonna begin We're coincidence.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna call the guy that might already be there.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's like unrelated unrelated Three hours later.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're done
[SPEAKER_02]: It takes seven weeks to get there, all right, but anyway, because the issue for Horace is in order to invade Seoul, he has to come in from outside the galaxy in.
[SPEAKER_02]: Then we covered this a little bit back.
[SPEAKER_02]: We talked about the warp travel warp travel.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the more of all point into Seoul are out in orbiting past Pluto.
[SPEAKER_02]: So in order to enter the map, effectively of Seoul, you have to come in to Pluto.
[SPEAKER_02]: Otherwise, you might translate inside of Jupiter, which would be less than ideal.
[SPEAKER_02]: and Dorn, yeah, Dorn also knows this.
[SPEAKER_02]: And fun astronomy lesson for those who don't know, the reason Pluto is no longer a planet.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's because Pluto's not alone in its orbit.
[SPEAKER_02]: The reason Pluto a side effect is about the size of Australia, so it's not, it's diminutive anyway, but it's actually a bunch of asteroids, not much smaller than it.
[SPEAKER_02]: in the same orbit around it.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's kind of easy to turn it into a defensive fortress.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's basically an asteroid belt at the edge of our galaxy.
[SPEAKER_02]: And in the 40K universe, it's the 30K universe.
[SPEAKER_02]: Dorn took all those and put a gun on all of them.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then put a gun on top of that gun, and then more guns, and then forth.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then when how many asteroids are there, I'm going to make triple that.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that made some more end minds.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so the issue is basically chorus, it could try and get to soul.
[SPEAKER_02]: But as soon as he translates in, and there's some questions about whether you can enter the work with your shields on or off.
[SPEAKER_02]: So he might if his whole fleet might have just come into soul, shields down and darn just went giant middle finger.
[SPEAKER_02]: Nope.
[SPEAKER_02]: So Alpha Legion had to go do something and luckily the Alpha Legion's pretty good at this now the funny thing about Alpha Legion That was Alpha Legion does they go the infiltrate But Alpha Legion still needs to Alpha Legion every now and then so they go they successfully infiltrate the defenses not just of soul But even of Terra and back on Terra.
[SPEAKER_02]: They infiltrate the Imperial Palace So they could have if they wanted to just stay quiet
[SPEAKER_02]: And when Horus gets there, they could have just are turning off orbital batteries and they made everything else.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they got my box, which you will see on our trophies when we get some coverage of that.
[SPEAKER_00]: But this is why I still think that there's a ton of loyalists in trying, I don't know if the whole Legion is or part of it is, but they could have just
[SPEAKER_00]: horrifically messed up, Tara.
[SPEAKER_00]: The defenses of Tara, but they don't.
[SPEAKER_00]: And in doing what they did, they're actually getting them ready.
[SPEAKER_00]: They've made them more ready.
[SPEAKER_02]: Come on.
[SPEAKER_02]: I just think they're independent.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's my, I think Alpha Legion just didn't care.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we're like, we're just going to do our own thing.
[SPEAKER_02]: We have our own plan for the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_00]: This doesn't help at all.
[SPEAKER_02]: This doesn't help
[SPEAKER_02]: That's that's a thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: They got three golden stickers for being annoying.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the alpha leech and I mean, they pissed on off hard.
[SPEAKER_02]: So fun story about this back on Terra in the Imperial Palace.
[SPEAKER_02]: They have 18 statues.
[SPEAKER_02]: There were 20.
[SPEAKER_02]: 18 statues one for each primarke and they the emperor had destroyed the two for the missing primarke.
[SPEAKER_02]: But since the outbreak of the heresy, apparently they've been too busy to take down all the trader ones and so they just don't affect them to tarps over them.
[SPEAKER_02]: In this, by the way, it just comes up as lazy because Dorn or Valdor, who both wander around Terra in power, or could just walk over to any of these statues, but that's just not there anymore.
[SPEAKER_02]: and then like three or four server just clean it up.
[SPEAKER_02]: But they didn't.
[SPEAKER_02]: So all 18 are standing.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the alpha legion on terror decide to activate.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they write Romani, E.T.
[SPEAKER_02]: Domum all over the form.
[SPEAKER_02]: Firstly, wrote Romani's A. Domus, but that's not correct.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this is because I have to use a plural indicative, but then a command is imperative.
[SPEAKER_02]: So you have to conjugate accordingly.
[SPEAKER_02]: And if you don't know what I'm referencing, it's because you didn't take Latin and high school and have to watch money Python.
[SPEAKER_02]: And if you did.
[SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, GW should have done that instead because GW misses this, so there are so many times GW could reference Monty Python and they would have been epic and they just leave it alone.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like of all the defenses of Terra, zero, zero times was there a rabbit or a holy hand grenade.
[SPEAKER_02]: Why?
[SPEAKER_02]: Why not?
[SPEAKER_02]: Why not throw it in there?
[SPEAKER_02]: Who cares?
[SPEAKER_02]: It's couldn't be great.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's just an evil, fierce rabbit with sharp teeth.
[SPEAKER_02]: Why?
[SPEAKER_02]: Or one time when Horace is like wandering around, lost in the, in the, in the in the material, some bridge maker asking, what is your quest?
[SPEAKER_02]: But no, instead, the black laborer writers hate fun.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, you don't even know them when speaking, they're speaking of an unladen swallow, most African or European, these are important questions.
[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, so the Alpha Legion do something that's actually lame or than my first idea.
[SPEAKER_02]: They blow up 16 of the 18 statues, leaving only dorn and alpharius, or was it Omigon?
[SPEAKER_02]: And this is just their way of saying to Dorn, we're here and you didn't know we were here, so middle finger to you, Dorn.
[SPEAKER_02]: Dorn does not take this well, by the way.
[SPEAKER_02]: First off, he seals the area where the statues are, so no one could see that he and his legion had failed to keep the traders out.
[SPEAKER_02]: And a second, he puts Alpha Legion on double secret probation and shakes his fist a lot with an eye out.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I ought to.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's basically what he does.
[SPEAKER_02]: Although later, he does get some pretty sweet revenge.
[SPEAKER_02]: What this act of sabotage, I think was kind of meant to do was pissed, torn off enough that he would get sloppy and what was gonna come next.
[SPEAKER_02]: The problem is that Dorn, as much as he said Debbie Downer, he's the basic inverse of me, he is pure focus.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you give me shiny object, I'm gone.
[SPEAKER_02]: Dorn, you can put him in a room of like flashing lights and fun, and he just was, no, I have to do my math homework.
[SPEAKER_02]: And he's just going to do a scene.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's just going to do his math homework.
[SPEAKER_02]: Good.
[SPEAKER_02]: Good on you, Dorn.
[SPEAKER_02]: So no matter what you do, Dorn will figure stuff out.
[SPEAKER_00]: Don't believe that this was just a mess that he was going to be a sloppy.
[SPEAKER_00]: I still think that they were trying to help the impairment.
[SPEAKER_00]: Continue.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's probably true.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're probably letting the impairment know.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, that you probably have spies on Terra find them all.
[SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, because he does start to round all this stuff up and fortify.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, all right, let's get to the attack on Pluto.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the attack on Pluto is led by alpharius himself.
[SPEAKER_02]: He and his flag, maybe?
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it, perhaps.
[SPEAKER_02]: All right, but it's supposed to be alpharius.
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go with that.
[SPEAKER_02]: But it could have been on my gun and it could have been some dude.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, no, it's definitely off.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's definitely a primarque because there's a feedback that goes on.
[SPEAKER_02]: So
[SPEAKER_02]: who altheria sent his flagship and a chunk of his fleet managed to slip through dorms the fences basically doing with the millennium falcon in that episode and fire striped and fire striped and fire striped in fact when they just flew to away with the rest of the garden exactly so from outside of the galaxy the fire their engines and on a course to what put them into Pluto and then they power everything down almost completely
[SPEAKER_02]: And the truth is, in the vastness of space, you're not going to see a ship just drifting, because it's black.
[SPEAKER_02]: You'd have to look out the window to see them, because they won't appear on sensors, because as we've said numerous times, sensors in 40k and 30k don't work.
[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, no.
[SPEAKER_00]: They were excellent or not at all.
[SPEAKER_02]: Most, mostly not at all.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so the story of stories in 40k where someone appears out of nowhere.
[SPEAKER_02]: It just constantly.
[SPEAKER_02]: The entire book, Flight of the Eisenstein, which is one of the best books they've written, should have been three pages.
[SPEAKER_02]: They captured the ship.
[SPEAKER_02]: They sort of going and the battle ship's went, hey, where's that ship going, button and the end?
[SPEAKER_02]: But this journey takes full year to complete.
[SPEAKER_02]: As our ferries is fleet approaches Pluto, they activate all the cells throughout salt.
[SPEAKER_02]: The entire system goes into chaos.
[SPEAKER_02]: But not revolts because you can infiltrate, but this is still salt and dorn still around.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're just causing chaos.
[SPEAKER_02]: things are exploding, although it's just basically terrorism.
[SPEAKER_02]: Stuff's exploding all over place.
[SPEAKER_02]: How helpful these shares are attacking.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of, it's a lot of show with a lot, without a lot of substance though.
[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing real is happening to be people.
[SPEAKER_02]: They are blowing stuff up.
[SPEAKER_02]: They are causing problems.
[SPEAKER_02]: The idea is, and they're fighting to the last when they do this.
[SPEAKER_02]: The idea is to draw as much forces all over the place as possible.
[SPEAKER_02]: The problem is dorn nose, alpharious.
[SPEAKER_02]: And dorn nose that alpharious is going to make 99% noise.
[SPEAKER_02]: And he just has to figure out where the real target is.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this story, by the way, is super badass.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm the perspective of the Imperial Fists.
[SPEAKER_02]: And we covered it when we did the Fists.
[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm going to keep it a little bit short here.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, Althera says, Legion, they're successful.
[SPEAKER_02]: They get into Pluto, and Dorn and much of the fist forces were still back on terror, because they're, you know, obviously Dorn's gonna keep terrorists safe first, as he does to make sure it is this the invasion.
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's not.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the problem of terrorism, it's pretty far from Pluto.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the vendors out on Pluto, they're, they're, affect the event guard force and they're facing a full like large percentage of the alpha legion are attacking them.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because remember the Scan and Capabilities failed, so they didn't know this at dawn, it decides that his forces are too far away, but he doesn't want them to be too far away anymore.
[SPEAKER_02]: So he starts trek for is it?
[SPEAKER_02]: And he really got engaged, yeah, he slingshots the, you know, what is that thing?
[SPEAKER_02]: What is this that a fortress called?
[SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember what the phalanx, the phalanx across the galaxy and takes what is like a like six week trip and does it in 32 minutes and appears, yeah, because he's shaking banks,
[SPEAKER_02]: Dorn himself and his husk girls teleport into the midst of the Alpha Legion fight.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, alpharious and his terminators are fighting to the center of Pluto.
[SPEAKER_02]: And their goal at Pluto is to basically disable all the communications at Pluto, shut the thing down to make it so Horace the team can come in.
[SPEAKER_02]: that this next fight is doesn't go great for one of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I love that with a, you read about it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Elfarius has this plan where he's like, I've been watching his moves and I'm watching old tape.
[SPEAKER_00]: and I saw that Doran used the jab a little too much and I'm going to use that against him and use my spear, which is shady at best from where it came from.
[SPEAKER_02]: It is definitely, you know, it's a neck rod.
[SPEAKER_02]: He has a spear with a neck rod tip on it that I think the Emperor gave him.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Doran does Doran stuff and goes, I can use more tactics, or I can be super tough and lean into the attack.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so this fights away.
[SPEAKER_02]: So first off, no one should fight with a spear one on one.
[SPEAKER_02]: It just doesn't make sense to me.
[SPEAKER_02]: If the other guy's holding a chain sword, this is probably not ideal.
[SPEAKER_02]: But...
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, and by the way, one of you's 30% smaller than the other one.
[SPEAKER_02]: Don's huge.
[SPEAKER_02]: Don's huge, so he's not that Vulcan huge, but he's up there.
[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, so our fairies' plan is I'm going to stab him with my spear.
[SPEAKER_02]: At which point he goes to stab with a spear and Dorn goes, all right, and his leans his shoulder into it, takes the spear in the shoulder, and then because he's leaning down, it jams the shaft of the spear into the ground, which our fairies are still holding.
[SPEAKER_02]: Dorn grabs the spear with one hand, and in the other hand, said James sword, chops off both of Altherias's hands, takes spear out of himself, shoved spear into Altherias.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, please, there's a small fact that you need to keep on.
[SPEAKER_00]: that alpharious his hands are still on this.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah, alpharious hands are still holding the spear.
[SPEAKER_02]: So he stabs alpharious with a spear with alpharious his hands on it, and then drives his chainsaw into the top of alpharious's head.
[SPEAKER_02]: So alpharious is dead.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is up there with
[SPEAKER_02]: For those who don't know, when the macho man Randy Savage died, he was driving on the freeway at about 70 or 80 miles an hour and had a full widow maker heart attack and then his car hit a tree.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the macho man Randy Savage was as dead as you can be.
[SPEAKER_02]: next to alpharious alpharious.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is the deadest you can be.
[SPEAKER_00]: I would have definitely gone with Groundhog Day when he flies off the edge.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that's true.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, but then it blows up and he goes, well, not now.
[SPEAKER_02]: No.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, I'll ferry his thighs to turn by the way, really didn't like I'll ferry us.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, don't, the ferry's by the way, the alpha lesionist who just happens bail.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, like, all right, we're not going to win this fight, and they all leave Pluto, basically immediately.
[SPEAKER_02]: And, although I shouldn't, it says they left Pluto, those who could, because the Imperial Fist weren't exactly like, well, we defeated their leader, so we'll let them leave.
[SPEAKER_02]: No.
[UNKNOWN]: No.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's, we're killing all of them.
[SPEAKER_02]: If this is 40k, yeah, this is desperate escape, but you have to roll, but at minus four.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, do the second link though, between them, because I guess GW had seen Star Wars, and oh my god, he gave them Obi-Wan.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I'm million screams reached out in suddenly fell silent.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, the sense is the death of his brother.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the timing is kind of all because oh my god basically sense is a death of his brother and then there's like a voice and then there's like a vox message Like hey, Horace is calling for alpharius is alpharius around.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's on my gone has to hit the button like yeah I guess
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's the death of Alpharius, but you can say it's the death of Almagan.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because it actually is Ferris.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because now Almagan takes on the name Alpharius permanently.
[SPEAKER_02]: There is Almagan no longer exists because one of them is dead.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is one that we could debate this with people, but in my opinion, one of the twins is definitely dead.
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll get to the, if the second one's dead shortly, but one of them is definitely dead.
[SPEAKER_02]: So he's gone.
[SPEAKER_00]: Now, he, you're like, yeah, he's not going to come back as well.
[SPEAKER_00]: You're like, what happened?
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, his hands got cut off.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then one, and then he got run through and then Dorn cleaved him in half.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then one of the largest chain sorts ever made was drove into his head.
[SPEAKER_02]: Ah.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he's dead.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's not even like he just stopped.
[SPEAKER_00]: He just kept.
[SPEAKER_00]: He basically,
[SPEAKER_00]: you know, did the carving of the church?
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: It is possible.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'll just we'll jump into this now.
[SPEAKER_02]: It is possible.
[SPEAKER_02]: One of them is a perpetual.
[SPEAKER_02]: It is possible that I could see that as both.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, if it's both, I think we would know if it was both.
[SPEAKER_02]: It gets really loopy or they've got a weird thing where they're actually our Hydra.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, who knows.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of fun.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully, Jericho.
[SPEAKER_02]: But anyway, on UlanR.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, before Horace invades Tara, or soul, he has everyone meet on Ulnar, because Ulnar is basically GW's, like, what's important?
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, Ulnar.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's the Gotham of GW writing.
[SPEAKER_02]: So Horace is there.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know where Alfaria shows up, sort of, because it's really weird.
[SPEAKER_02]: Alfaria survives, but there's no alpha lesion fleet.
[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, he's totally by himself.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's not no retinue with him, nothing.
[SPEAKER_02]: He just walks in and no one knows how he got there.
[SPEAKER_02]: He walks up the horse and just says, hey, positive.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is still a big deal.
[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't like board normally.
[SPEAKER_00]: He just is there.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's walks up.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, there was no like.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, that's a word of the story.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just is there.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's like they went, hey, there's a ship and this is our very ship.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'll fair to shuttle has arrived.
[SPEAKER_00]: or it's like, no, if I just walk over there, they're sitting next to each other.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're like, when's our Ferris going to arrive?
[SPEAKER_00]: And he goes, probably now, you know, they could be the door open and he's there.
[SPEAKER_02]: OK.
[SPEAKER_02]: So a Ferris walks in and just says, hey, I'm done.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're out.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're not changing sides, but we're just we're done now.
[SPEAKER_02]: This isn't fun.
[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to go home.
[SPEAKER_02]: But we did fulfill our mission.
[SPEAKER_02]: The hand-horrorists call it a scroll, but it's just a detailed map of every defense and all of soul.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they actually plan their defense.
[SPEAKER_02]: And then he takes up dagger and breaks the dagger.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know why that mattered, but it does.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was his way of saying, hey, we're independent now, basically go pound sand.
[SPEAKER_02]: and a abadon, by the way, fun note, did not care for this and wanted to go Hail Alpharius, which I do love this because the done is does not suffer fools.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it was just like, oh,
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you're turning on us.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to go murder you, but Horace stops him.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I actually have a theory on this.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's got Horace knew this wasn't our ferris.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we all, I think a lot of us think this was a lieutenant who was posing as our ferris and Horace knew that Alpha Legion had infiltrated his own forces.
[SPEAKER_02]: And that this was one of them who just happened to appear.
[SPEAKER_02]: And if he killed him, that they would activate.
[SPEAKER_02]: And he actually could have his own problems in this
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think that they would just be spitting them and letting them escape effectively basically by hampering them Yeah, it why bother this gives me nothing exactly actually would actually create a mini civil war for myself before I I embark on the most important part of my battles now that being said Aberdon still doesn't like alpha legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's been 10,000 years.
[SPEAKER_00]: He does use them though.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, but I don't know who's anybody, but the point is he's still, he still doesn't trust them, it's probably the better way of putting it.
[SPEAKER_02]: Abadan understands even in all of his crusades when he works with Alpha Legion, they're rarely next to him.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're usually part of his plan, but they're rarely close.
[SPEAKER_02]: Which is probably smart.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the end of Alpha Legion's story in the horse heresy.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're not part of any of the invasion of soul.
[SPEAKER_02]: They take no part in it whatsoever.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're just kind of gone.
[SPEAKER_02]: but after the death of Horace, they become important again pretty quickly because they behave differently.
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll be right back after a quick break.
[SPEAKER_02]: At the death of Horace, all of the traitor legions rush to the eye of terror to escape, except the alpha legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: Some of them do take a bit of a long road back, but the alpha legion go almost the opposite direction.
[SPEAKER_02]: They go to the right, man, I'm like, oh, there's nothing really over there.
[SPEAKER_02]: We said last time there was the Kabbal and the Alpha lesion.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think the Alpha lesion, when the Kabbal, when they're meeting together, the Alpha lesion looked at the Kabbal and said, we like what you guys are trying to do, shaping the galaxy, but we think you guys suck.
[SPEAKER_02]: So we're gonna do the thing that you wanna do, but we're gonna do it our way.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is why I think they went,
[SPEAKER_02]: to the right.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because they wanted to go muster forces and kind of figure themselves out.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that Alpha Legion are actually doing a good job of this.
[SPEAKER_02]: I just think that this is what Alpha Legion's trying to do.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is why they went this different direction and didn't follow everybody else into the end.
[SPEAKER_00]: I have terrified on this.
[SPEAKER_00]: because I still think that there's disparate parts in this Legion.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that they might have a proposed end game goal that's very in shadows, but I don't think that everybody's down on with it.
[SPEAKER_00]: I also don't think that they do a very good job.
[SPEAKER_00]: be just like their dad of disseminating information to everybody.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that there might be a in-game goal that some people know about and I think that a lot of the alpha legion is just like, I don't know why we're doing this.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to say it's awesome because the member they also operate in these independent cells and in each other.
[SPEAKER_00]: So like you could just have people that don't have the information about this and they just do what they think is fit.
[SPEAKER_02]: What I think of it like the dark angels.
[SPEAKER_02]: how many of the dark angels, the lore has changed a bit, but traditionally the dark angels didn't know about the fallen except for what the inner circle.
[SPEAKER_02]: But all the dark angels were secretly actually helping hunt down the fallen.
[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't know that.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's how I see the alpha legion that I do think of various.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, this is life.
[SPEAKER_00]: Dark angels exist in operate as a cohesive, yes, well, this is what we're supposed to do.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, let's follow it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Even before
[SPEAKER_00]: You have a goal, figure it out, kind of thing.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's very, yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's really tricky to figure them out.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the things honestly, no one knew that you're there, because they actually are a nightmare for the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because the thing is like to what we're just discussing, if you look at the other trader legions, thousands of sons were turned themselves back from dust.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's their goal.
[SPEAKER_02]: You've got the world leaders trying to impress corn.
[SPEAKER_02]: You've got Abadon's trying to still kill the emperor.
[SPEAKER_02]: Iron warriors will probably know more in about four months.
[SPEAKER_02]: There, it sounds like they're deathguards, spread plague, while mortarian gets sad.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like you've got these kind of almost direct missions of all of them, whereas Alpha Legion, I view them more almost like Zeancha or Harlequins, in which there probably is an end goal here, but it's really messed up in the way you're trying to uncover it.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's so many layers behind it.
[SPEAKER_00]: I agree on this.
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this is one of the reasons why I believe it's very, very cool is because I actually think that inside the Legion people are doing different stuff.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's very much so I like that.
[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, so the alpha legion, the important part of this part of the cast, the alpha legion, go to the right side of the galaxy because there's nothing out there.
[SPEAKER_02]: The imperium is all the traders are going up towards the eye of terror, so all of the piriformes are chasing them that way.
[SPEAKER_02]: No one's out to the right, except for one, unfortunately, and it's a big, blue problem for them.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, in the early days of the Horus heresy, it's known as a scouring.
[SPEAKER_02]: In the ultimate segment, the alpha lesion are just raiding planets and causing mischief.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this is great for the alpha lesion, because I have terrorist effectively the other direction, everyone's gone that way.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the, no one really knows the alpha lesion we're trying to achieve, but they were raiding planets gathering resources, creating upheaval, and it's blah, blah, blah.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the thing is, all of their primarx wanted revenge and betrayer.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they're chasing all the traitors the other way.
[SPEAKER_02]: except for one dude who is like, well, getting revenge is great.
[SPEAKER_02]: But what if there's not an Imperium at the get revenge for?
[SPEAKER_00]: I, during this though, because of this, as far as Bobby G. wanted, he, we gotta remember, right after all this happened, Robby Kilman went, hey guys, I have this plan, we're gonna do all this stuff and everybody went, good to hear nerd, we're gonna go kick the shit out of chaos.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and these guys are all out doing that.
[SPEAKER_00]: He starts effectively promotes himself the Lord of the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: So he's getting stuff to get it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Two is defense in your ultramarines, including your fans, including yourself.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: He was doing a good job of getting chip back together.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
[SPEAKER_00]: And
[SPEAKER_00]: he sees the alpha legion as a bigger threat to what he's trying to do.
[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_00]: He's focused on logistics, re communicating with these planets, making sure that they're back under the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_00]: And the alpha legion is tried to do the exact opposite of trying to disrupt everything.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, well, these guys are way more important than my vengeance.
[SPEAKER_00]: I need to stop this.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because also the
[SPEAKER_00]: super good at what they're doing because they're also replacing the guy that's in charge of logistics on this particular station and stuff like that so they're like we this needs the stop these guys aren't causing as much
[SPEAKER_00]: physical, they're not blowing that much stuff up, but they are causing a huge amount of problems for me.
[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly, because the chaos forces, which what they are now that are retreating into the eye of terror, they're just trying to fight their pick and fights and then the other primers are like, yeah, let's do this.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the Alpha Legion are messing with resources, they're doing that in Gilman's going, that's my bigger problem.
[SPEAKER_02]: So unfortunately for out the lesion, they draw the iron of the ultramarines.
[SPEAKER_02]: Who, by the way, are probably the largest of all of them at this stage?
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's also argue about why he's doing this.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because is this a bait?
[SPEAKER_00]: Are they trying to draw a gentleman?
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think so.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think this one.
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's, this is, are you quite a bit if you, yeah, my opinion is, I think this is a mistake.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think they,
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't say that it's a good thing.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm saying it that I don't think they realized Gilliman was coming.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's my opinion is I think they knew, I think they were out in this area doing what they were doing with a plan and didn't think it would get this bad.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because what happens is Gilliman shows up.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, they do let set a trap and we'll get into it in a second.
[SPEAKER_02]: And Gilliman does full-time.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, and though because it goes back and forth has there ever been in the 40k more of a I know that you know that I know Oh, this is one a hundred percent vissini.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is that this was because we don't even know by the way We don't know who drank the poison at the end of this one.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're been perfectly honest.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it's
[SPEAKER_00]: It's just so funny.
[SPEAKER_02]: They both have an immunity to it.
[SPEAKER_00]: So, all right, well, the start of this, go ahead.
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's do this too.
[SPEAKER_00]: Because both guys change their tactics because they know that the other guy uses these tactics.
[SPEAKER_00]: But because I know that he knows that I'm going to change my tactics, I know I have to use a different tactic.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not making this up, this is a verbatim.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is how this goes through the story.
[SPEAKER_02]: So there's a planet called Eskrador, who cares?
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's out in the right side of the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_02]: Gilliman himself leads the Ultramarines on a strike force there.
[SPEAKER_02]: Alpharius.
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, they say it's please at his arrival.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's no way he was pleased.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're rival of a killman.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, no, no, you were not.
[SPEAKER_02]: But no, I'm glad he's here.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is awesome.
[SPEAKER_02]: I look forward to fighting him.
[SPEAKER_02]: Cause killing him at one point had chastised them, but so and everybody.
[SPEAKER_02]: So whatever.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, Alpharius was part of his, I'm going to show a better tactician than Gilliman.
[SPEAKER_02]: Nope.
[SPEAKER_00]: And he'll be, well, he'll upset it up, though, because Alpharius wants to show that it's because of the fact that he's been chastised multiple times by Gilliman.
[SPEAKER_00]: Correct.
[SPEAKER_00]: On his tactics, saying they are effectively wildly too complex.
[SPEAKER_00]: He says, Hey, man, is there any chance you could stop doing wildly coyote plans all the time?
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: And Alpharius took offense to that.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and by the way, what happens here?
[SPEAKER_02]: He does wily coyote plans and Gilliam and goes, yeah, I'm just gonna, does the roadrunner and goes around it.
[SPEAKER_02]: So that's how this happened.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, Alpharius, his whole idea is, I know what Gilliam is gonna do.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's gonna deploy on the edge of the planix and he doesn't want me to escape and they're gonna, they're gonna tighten the new surrounding and come closer and closer.
[SPEAKER_02]: So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna deploy traps all over the place.
[SPEAKER_02]: All right, I'm gonna paint tunnels on rocks.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to have TNT all over the place.
[SPEAKER_02]: I am going to spend so much money with Acme that you will blow your mind, you know.
[SPEAKER_02]: And Gilman looks at all at the situation and goes, this whole planet's probably all traps.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just going to teleport to where Alpharius is and kill him.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so he does, he just, he looked, he took a plan out of Doran's playbook and just went, this is too complex.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll just show.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just going to keep him in rust play.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he, don't let me just go, I have stuff to do.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is going to take a while and just tell reports, well, actually what he really does is he does what he kept telling our various always to do.
[SPEAKER_02]: Just go down there and cut the head off the stupid snake.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not even
[SPEAKER_00]: This is definitely a rust thing because he goes, what would rust do in this?
[SPEAKER_00]: Because rust wouldn't even pay attention to the trap.
[SPEAKER_00]: So it would be like, I don't even know what's happening right now.
[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm just going to go.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just a little bit there.
[SPEAKER_02]: So he teleports down with his retinue right basically in front of Alpharius.
[SPEAKER_02]: Alvarious looks up and he goes, surprise, I'm at for.
[SPEAKER_02]: And just, and there's more of a fight, but I'm summarizingly and kills him.
[SPEAKER_02]: The only problem with this is, Gilliman's whole plan here is I'm gonna kill this guy.
[SPEAKER_02]: This will shatter the legion and then we'll deal with all the stupid traps and kill them.
[SPEAKER_02]: So he does this, he appears.
[SPEAKER_02]: He kills the primarque, looks at the dead primarque, and then all the outflege and around, looked down at the dead primarque, look at Gilliman, look at the dead primarque, look at Gilliman and go, showtor's shrug at attack Gilliman's.
[SPEAKER_02]: I wish filming goes, it's a him and him, the ultramarines have to flee, not just the planet, but actually the system because it had no effect on the Alpha Legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the question here is one of who did he kill, and more importantly did he actually, because this is where the perpetual thing becomes the question.
[SPEAKER_02]: Did he kill Alpharius or now Omega, or did he kill a stand-in?
[SPEAKER_02]: Or did he actually kill Omega and Alpharius, who is a perpetual, and has come back because when they killed Alpharius, there was no feedback.
[SPEAKER_00]: Who was the name of the Iron Man 3 when he's pretending to be the man chariote?
[SPEAKER_02]: What was that, yes?
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I know as you talk about, I can't remember, but yeah, I know I look at what you're talking about.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's who he killed.
[SPEAKER_02]: But that becomes the question is like, when this whole, this is, this scene right here, this moment is really critical for alpha legion law, because we have a death of a primarq, but it doesn't affect the legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the only way that that doesn't affect the legion, is either A, it's actually, they didn't kill the primarq, which is quite possible, or B, totally is.
[SPEAKER_02]: they are their perpetuals.
[SPEAKER_02]: And what's happened is the primarque that Dorn killed has reformed.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so now, because when Dorn killed Alpharius, there wasn't a feedback amongst the Legion because Omigon was still alive.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's also possible that there is some sort of resurrection protocol going on there.
[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, how give you the bread?
[SPEAKER_00]: What I've thought for a while, this is completely
[SPEAKER_00]: that there's some sort of perpetual, but you have to link you could kill him if you could kill both of them at the same time, which I think is why they all saw or never together.
[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe, yeah, oh, I see a point where the idea is basically, you could like the resurrection takes a while.
[SPEAKER_02]: So if you kill one and you can kill the other one, then they actually die, but they're maybe their souls are linked.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, make sense?
[SPEAKER_00]: Kind of think that they're like, they're one, they're one soul separated into two hands.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so yeah, basically, so when one dies, it pulls them a soul, the other one to help bring them back to life.
[SPEAKER_02]: So if you killed both of them, then they would die.
[SPEAKER_00]: That would make sense.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's just kind of my thought because we were playing off fantasy games.
[SPEAKER_02]: That would lie down.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that tracks.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think I've read that before.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, that tracks.
[SPEAKER_02]: So at this stage, we now move into the codex part of the Alpha Legion lore for lack of a better phrase.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, also, I think that we're going to get to a cool part of it because I actually think that I love all the stuff coming into and they have a lot of great stuff in it.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're, they're shrouded in the secrecy where they came from who knows how many of their were and then they were a big fleet and they were a small fleet, but once we get to hear this is, as you were saying, the codex version of them.
[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that the alpha legion is one of the most effective in anything they want to do once they become the alpha legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: So this version is the hydra now and when we say a hydra, I think of this hydra more is like a subterranean hydra.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the idea is the hydra's heads will pop above the ground with the bodies below the ground.
[SPEAKER_02]: So you can shop the head off above the ground.
[SPEAKER_02]: It looks like you've killed it, but then two heads will pop up, but they'll pop up elsewhere all over the place.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's how I view the hydra that is alpha legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: You don't know what they're trying to do or where even where they're based.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I also think that this is super fair some for the a lot of the what primarx especially, but the Imperium forces because you've got now to confirmed by other primarx, we have killed primarq of the alpha leader and you're getting all these reports
[SPEAKER_00]: That there's a letter that matches the description of that theory is doing stuff all over the place.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's talking about the first one.
[SPEAKER_02]: So one of the first times this comes up is the Danerva sub-sector.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's a chaos warband rating at a mantium because of course that's mad at a mantium.
[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the warbands are Alpha Legion and they're being led by a Lord by the name of Alpharius.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the reports that come in show a picture of him.
[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, that's Alpharius.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the Brad's point in peer records from primarks and not just not crappy primarks like Lordgar said he killed him.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, Lordgar said he killed him.
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's more like it's doored in Gilliman.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think we can take them at their word.
[SPEAKER_02]: They both said they killed him.
[SPEAKER_02]: But now I'm looking at him right now.
[SPEAKER_02]: So how's he alive?
[SPEAKER_02]: So what the the order is the officios sassunorum are putting a task and they send six vinda cares out there to kill this health areas.
[SPEAKER_01]: which is an overt wild.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's so many assassins.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they do over over over a few years.
[SPEAKER_02]: They kill, they kill over a dozen of our various chaos lords.
[SPEAKER_02]: Each one identical, each one and it has no effect on the raids.
[SPEAKER_02]: Then five years into the campaign, all the assassins of this contact with until a few weeks later, one of the lords of terrors, getting, it's getting, it's getting up in the morning to have some like milk with his coffee opens his fridge and all six heads are in his fridge.
[SPEAKER_02]: In his personal, personally, it is, oh, so then that sucks.
[SPEAKER_02]: So this begins the IML-Farious Nightmare for the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because now, it is this question of, well, what's going on basically?
[SPEAKER_02]: How do we deal with this Legion?
[SPEAKER_02]: Is there even a leader for it?
[SPEAKER_02]: And this becomes this upheaval, so it's occurring all throughout the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_02]: And,
[SPEAKER_02]: The athletes are different for the impairment than the other chaos legions.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like word bears, they're leading cultists up rising, causing upheavals and the colleagues themselves, disupting warp, deathguard or spying the destroyer hive, they're causing issues, nightlords, iron wars, emperors, children are doing raids, whatever it is, world leaders are doing a rollier stuff.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that world leaders are newer than actually to the lore for being honest.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're doing world leaders stuff.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, because the first War of Armageddon that is yellowed into the galaxy and they left.
[SPEAKER_02]: And now the world leaders are also newer.
[SPEAKER_02]: World leaders, the first War of Armageddon, then they went back to being war bands.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now we've got Angron actually doing some stuff with the Coral Engine, so a little bit different.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the difference is, and Abdon is crusades.
[SPEAKER_02]: All of these actions are like, they disrupt and they cause havoc for the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_02]: But they tend to have a purpose behind them.
[SPEAKER_02]: Alpha Legion just do stuff.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're just out there and they're still in stuff.
[SPEAKER_00]: They have disparate parts because there's still people that are loyal to the upper inside, working inside these cells because you have the hairl masters.
[SPEAKER_00]: You could make their argument that as far as cool to go that the Alpha Legion's better than the word barriers are as far as that because they get more done.
[SPEAKER_02]: They, yeah, they also have, well, because the word bears, the difference is I think the word bears sacrifice all of their cultists.
[SPEAKER_02]: Most of these people when they get cultists, the plans to eventually sacrifice them for power from the dark gods.
[SPEAKER_02]: The Alpha Legion, they may sacrifice them, but it's to achieve some goal.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's more of a strategic system.
[SPEAKER_02]: The Alpha Legion are strategic and even that they're doing.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this is what kind of sucks about them.
[SPEAKER_02]: So let's do some more kind of fun stories about philagings.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is one of my favorite things to do.
[SPEAKER_02]: It was just talk about stuff I read in the code axis.
[SPEAKER_02]: So another enjoyable one is Sears Rest.
[SPEAKER_02]: So Sears Rest is a psycher farm.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what it was.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's for whatever reason, the population on this place produces an inordinate amount of psychers.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's like Prospero before the space wolves made it, not that anymore.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the reason that there's an entire story called The Burning of Prosperity.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that became the Carthage of awe.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the adaptor's telepathica really liked the sears rust.
[SPEAKER_02]: The black ships were there constantly.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the planet was led by some main psychors who oversaw the populist.
[SPEAKER_02]: They were described as wizards, oracles, soothsayers.
[SPEAKER_02]: And these ones would kind of keep the population in line, so you wouldn't have like her radical uprising all the time.
[SPEAKER_02]: One day, a bunch of cyclers start having the exact same dream, and the dream is that a snake's raining from the sky.
[SPEAKER_02]: The dream was so intense, this is a dream happening within cyclers, that their psychic powers manifest into reality, and the world was engulfed with venomous snakes falling from the sky.
[SPEAKER_02]: which obviously put those snakes in a bit of a mood.
[SPEAKER_02]: But so when they landed, they began biting everybody.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they also secretly created snakes.
[SPEAKER_02]: So what would really happen, reality, if snakes are following from the sky as they would hit the ground and explode, and not really bite anybody.
[SPEAKER_02]: But these are psychic snakes.
[SPEAKER_02]: So if your thought is John that makes no sense, this snake would just die, you're right.
[SPEAKER_02]: But it's a psychic snake.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's a little bit different.
[SPEAKER_02]: So millions die from the snake bites, actually about half the population dies from a snake
[SPEAKER_02]: The Arbites go to the world of figure out what the hell just happened here, and they found that someone had placed hallucinogenic agents in the world's atmosphere processes.
[SPEAKER_02]: And as I try to figure out who did this, the Alpha Legion attack.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the Alpha Legion abducted all the Komotos because when this happened, all of these like main people fell into Komos, they abducted all of them and then leave.
[SPEAKER_02]: slaughtering the defenders, which then created this massive psychic backlash because remember the whole populist is psychers, and now you've taken away the only people controlling them.
[SPEAKER_02]: So this world went from a psych or farm to a demon world that was, that's now this
[SPEAKER_02]: And this is Alpha Legion, another one.
[SPEAKER_02]: But again, that's a short play.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's Alpha Legion coming in and doing.
[SPEAKER_02]: All right, we're going to put looseogenic agents, we're going to make the cycles go weird.
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll grab them, cycles, and then the sex with the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_02]: They also do the long plays.
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's the Emperor's Sword.
[SPEAKER_02]: Emperor's Sword, successor, chapter, let's say.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're recruiting world is more of the log plan.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is a solid log play.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is wild because they know
[SPEAKER_00]: over hundreds of years.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'd say I almost have millennium on this.
[SPEAKER_00]: The Alpha Legion's just been placing mental triggers in the pain a lot of the populace.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this is, by the way, has no meaning to me like, yeah, so the planet is called ghost and grad because GW and they've been in, the Alpha, they have been infiltrating the pops, they're placing mental triggers in the people.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what this is.
[SPEAKER_02]: All I can assume it is whatever they put in Reggie Jackson to make him try and kill the queen.
[SPEAKER_00]: But unfortunately, I love that you were there.
[SPEAKER_00]: I would more like Manchuria and can't be.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, you just went straight to, no.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because unfortunately, Ghost and God didn't have Enrico Palazzo to save the day.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and by the way, your favorite is the usual suspects.
[SPEAKER_02]: Boo, it has a good reveal.
[SPEAKER_02]: This movie's epic.
[SPEAKER_02]: How can you not love, how can you not love and Rico Palazzo saving the queen?
[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, that's my assumption.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the Alpha Legion did this incredible slow play and it's as always giant crescendo.
[SPEAKER_02]: This mental trigger is set off.
[SPEAKER_02]: and the start days within the Emperor's sword turn on each other.
[SPEAKER_02]: A mini civil war erupts within the chapter, and while they're fighting here, also the entire planet goes into civil war, the Alpha Legion attack.
[SPEAKER_02]: Ed, kill a bunch of space marines, steal a bunch of gene-seed leave, but then the planet itself becomes a chaos marines stronghold.
[SPEAKER_02]: Forever.
[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, forever.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, which, by the way, a little side note, this is why Gilliam and made the codex of Stardys.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is what once again, Steven, you should have this put on it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Boots of by the ass kicking, you put it on your clown shoes.
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm putting on my blue boots of my de-ask kicking.
[SPEAKER_02]: Gilliam and the whole idea was there's only a thousand Stardys and this planet max.
[SPEAKER_02]: So whatever, we lose it.
[SPEAKER_02]: what if it had been like pre-coded stories or 10,000 people here, 20,000 people here.
[SPEAKER_02]: This would have been a lot of work.
[SPEAKER_02]: Alpha Legion could have created a new Legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: We even follow the codex to start.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's any board because he doesn't need to, because he's Gilliman.
[SPEAKER_02]: The codex to start is the codex to start is for the lesser legions.
[SPEAKER_02]: The non-ultramarine.
[SPEAKER_02]: What I do.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, because not all legions are as good as the ultramarines.
[SPEAKER_02]: They need a help of a codex to start to not fall to the failures that a legion like the ultramarines wouldn't fall to, obviously.
[SPEAKER_00]: So unhappy that we're remote casting this because the phone is out here.
[SPEAKER_02]: You're gonna throw stuff at me so much.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, there's so much stuff in that.
[SPEAKER_02]: Don't worry, everyone lists things through the same day, people are driving their cars and trying to throw stuff at the radio.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, God damn it, John, I don't know where.
[SPEAKER_02]: I know what I did there.
[SPEAKER_02]: All right, another kind of alpha-leagion ask is the Zam Vec Rebellion.
[SPEAKER_02]: This one's really more fun for modern 40K.
[SPEAKER_02]: Imperial governor is the gothic sector he's been flashing some like anti-imperium tendencies and the dark angels are dispatched to question the governor and my question the governor oh say we know that means never never yeah if a dark angel said the question you the term questions not the right word there it's they're coming to remove you the visitor chaplain show up and you go
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, this seems bad, but that the governor also knew this and the second they arrive in system the government goes, oh yeah, we're in full rebellion, we're not part of the impairing many more.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the dark angel of source attack and as they attack,
[SPEAKER_02]: They get counterattack by a hidden alpha leaching company that was there and this is the fifth company that dark angels They almost get eliminated in the counterattack except because that's dark angels the death wing were right behind them Which the fifth company didn't know who then attack because the death wing had also been monitoring this because they thought the governor might be Someone other than he claimed to be because he was a fallen
[SPEAKER_02]: He was working with the Alpha Leach and the Alpha Leach and saved him and got him out of there.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this fallen actually, his name is Angel Solus.
[SPEAKER_02]: And he is important.
[SPEAKER_02]: He does come up, they're still chasing him to this day.
[SPEAKER_02]: He's later saved by Cypher.
[SPEAKER_02]: Angel Solus is one of the more powerful fallen.
[SPEAKER_02]: We don't know, he appears not to be chaos oriented either.
[SPEAKER_02]: He sees he more of the ones who's been more independent oriented, which is why Cypher has saved him, which makes him working with Alpha Leach and interesting.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's not because it's some of the fallen are hard core chaos, can't it?
[SPEAKER_00]: This one.
[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about that.
[SPEAKER_00]: The dark ages go exactly.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so with the alpha legion, this is something alpha legion you see a lot more of alpha legion and the fall and seem to cross paths quite a bit.
[SPEAKER_02]: They also alpha legion and cipher are a bit more interesting.
[SPEAKER_02]: They don't like each other, but they do work together a good amount.
[SPEAKER_02]: because they seem to, and this is why going back to one of my theories, I think Alpha Legion have a plan for the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think Cypher has a plan for the galaxy.
[SPEAKER_02]: I think that sometimes those, they have co-centric circles.
[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes they don't.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think that Cypher knows which parts of the Alpha Legion are actually for the good of the galaxy in the appearance.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
[SPEAKER_02]: I but let's have a funny one though.
[SPEAKER_02]: A vernia.
[SPEAKER_02]: So this one just this one just funny.
[SPEAKER_02]: So a vernia is a system located in segmentum solar.
[SPEAKER_02]: Like I've a little bit left of salt.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's a collection of industrial worlds at making really key equipment for the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_02]: The alpha lesion decide to just let's have fun.
[SPEAKER_02]: and screw with the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_02]: They infiltrate the adaptive segmentage stratum.
[SPEAKER_02]: And once they're, they use a combination of double agents and their own sorcerers to change imperial records.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they move the location in the imperial record of Alvarnia from Seoul, segmentum Seoul, to segmentum Pacificus, into a system that doesn't even exist.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I love that they show up hot, a full task shows up to combat the alpha Legion.
[SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, whoa, let's get this done.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to crush it.
[SPEAKER_00]: But they're like, there's absolutely no one here.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Also, there's nothing here.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's nothing here.
[SPEAKER_00]: There's nothing here.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's just no.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the Alpha Legion are just attacking Evernia.
[SPEAKER_02]: Evernia is simply to stress calls in the Imperiums.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, you are industrial worlds.
[SPEAKER_02]: Let's get there.
[SPEAKER_02]: And the entire task was a battle group and ends up out following exactly the NAV coordinates of where Evernia is supposed to be, get there to a system that probably have two
[SPEAKER_01]: What's up?
[SPEAKER_01]: Get to weed going.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're moisture farmers.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Are you guys under attack?
[SPEAKER_02]: No.
[SPEAKER_02]: Should we be?
[SPEAKER_02]: Like, there's a lot of you.
[SPEAKER_02]: Are we now?
[SPEAKER_02]: And out of the lesion are just plundering the system.
[SPEAKER_02]: It takes them the imperial forever to, they have to go back and triangulate where the distress call came from.
[SPEAKER_02]: They go do this.
[SPEAKER_02]: And eventually they'd uncover what the out of the lesion did.
[SPEAKER_02]: Which was just mean of a being honest, but also funny.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, that being said, let's talk about sometimes when you're playing it's a little bit too complicated, you piss off the wrong person.
[SPEAKER_03]: This one's.
[SPEAKER_02]: An oopsie, Garvin Fall is a world it was targeted by the Alpha Legion.
[SPEAKER_02]: They targeted because it was a fringe world and they knew the Imperial response to it would be really slow.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they were gonna rate it for supplies.
[SPEAKER_02]: Somehow there's an Alpha Legion Warlord named Vrax learns something else.
[SPEAKER_02]: He learns that the Jew carry were gonna target the world because it was again, not well-defended.
[SPEAKER_02]: the Kabbal the Black Heart.
[SPEAKER_02]: He may or may not know it was Black Heart.
[SPEAKER_02]: He may have just known it with a Drew Carrey Raid.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then you just knew it was Drew Carrey also as far as he or he didn't know that Black Heart meant.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's one of the two because you wouldn't have done this otherwise.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah
[SPEAKER_02]: These go a ride later, so they wait in the shadows and the alpha lesion just sits there and that you carry begin their raid.
[SPEAKER_02]: There's a cadian imperial guard regiment there, those two start fighting and alpha lesion just hammer out of the blue.
[SPEAKER_02]: They
[SPEAKER_02]: quickly overwhelmed both and as we said before, jukari do not take a punch well.
[SPEAKER_02]: So as soon as the jukari, their flanks exposed and the outlet's going to because the jukari weighed plans are very coordinated and they're very specific.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's like a Cirque de Soleil performance.
[SPEAKER_02]: It really can't take a disruption.
[SPEAKER_00]: It also because they have to
[SPEAKER_00]: They have a plan that also says what happens if I get betrayed on this plan Yeah, everything else so everything's going on as soon as they get waxed They spit out yeah, they go back to the right.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, they just run away and they leave with nothing
[SPEAKER_02]: the cadence gets slaughtered and the elf legion just grab everything back in the web way.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, back in the vect probably murders everyone involved with this raid.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, then the bad should go ahead.
[SPEAKER_00]: How the rape go and they go, we came back with this bag of dicks and that's it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the fact was like, hey, I'm going to get this hospital chart out for, you know, the scale of one to ten on the happy face thing.
[SPEAKER_00]: If you don't have a hospital a lot, it's there all the time, but it's a very Brad reference.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: He would be way beyond the end red, and decides that it ain't going down like this.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to make sure that they know to not do this again.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he decides to send Lilith Hesperax herself to lead the raid of vengeance.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now, nope, this is a raid of vengeance.
[SPEAKER_02]: They're going back to Garvinfall, not to get anything other than kill them.
[SPEAKER_00]: Little bit of this is just, she's not just leading the raid, she's told that he, she has to kill Rax herself, yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's her whole jam.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care what else happens.
[SPEAKER_00]: You need to stab this dude in the head.
[SPEAKER_02]: Which they do.
[SPEAKER_02]: So they go back and Lilith meets Rax in single combat.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm going to skip to the end.
[SPEAKER_02]: She returns to Commira with Rax, but Rax is missing all of his limbs.
[SPEAKER_02]: Vrax is then mounted above the gate to Vex Palace and for eternity is seeing their screaming and agony.
[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, not all our Felician plans work.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: So, let's talk about one more, two more, I want to get you.
[SPEAKER_02]: The next one I do kind of get a kick out of, the great rift spreads with the galaxy with the fall of KDM.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this creates a bit of an issue for the Imperium, but it's quite a few issues, but one of the issues is if you just look up into the sky on a plant near the rift, you're looking into the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_02]: not ideal.
[SPEAKER_02]: Probably.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is such a bad rule though, because you're like, this is never going to be informed.
[SPEAKER_00]: Or wait, you can hand it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_00]: I give you it.
[SPEAKER_00]: But like the legitimately have a law that says you can't look up.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what it's.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: The appearance has no looking up.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now what we really do is they just close all the windows.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's the imperium to says are every world that can see the riff that has windows.
[SPEAKER_02]: Those windows are now shut.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what they do.
[SPEAKER_02]: And this is probably a good idea.
[SPEAKER_02]: Because again, if you look into the immaturium, the immaturium can get into your sect, yeah.
[SPEAKER_02]: So the Alpha legions see this and go, like, yes, we can effort people.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they go on an infiltration campaign to all the worlds along the great rift.
[SPEAKER_02]: And in one moment, flip on a bunch of indoctrinated people who then
[SPEAKER_02]: I want to look up with the sky and just lead a riot to then get them to all rush to the windows and open the windows and an instant billions of imperial citizens Gaze into the rift and chaos has a good day.
[SPEAKER_00]: also they didn't at the same time in a ritual way.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, we haven't had it.
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just a nice little cascade of revolution all throughout the empire.
[SPEAKER_02]: But the last one I want to cover is really at what I think what makes the alpha legends the farious is because they also will peer victory themselves on occasions.
[SPEAKER_02]: World is covan.
[SPEAKER_02]: Now in the world of covan, the alpha legend had a fortress named the fortress of lies.
[SPEAKER_02]: blood angels, terrible name, terrible name, all right, the blood angels were tasked to destroy the fortress of lies.
[SPEAKER_00]: And this is also, the blood angels are pretty worked up, because this is after the devastation.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so division of balls, the blood angels are made up primarily of primarismaries, like that's all that's left.
[SPEAKER_02]: And
[SPEAKER_02]: They're fighting them on the fortress of lies.
[SPEAKER_02]: And while it's fighting showing on this interesting things are happening, the alpha lesion are retreating at the first sign of the firstborn.
[SPEAKER_02]: But if they see a primarismarine, they would basically screw with them.
[SPEAKER_02]: They cheap shot, they do well to really try to rile them up.
[SPEAKER_02]: And they do this to us constantly irritating and frustrating, but only the primarismarines.
[SPEAKER_02]: The firstborn's like, yeah, you guys have fun over there.
[SPEAKER_02]: until suddenly the primaris marines involved explode with rage, killing all of the alpha.
[SPEAKER_02]: They slaughter every single athlete in there, but brutally, they're tearing them limb from limb and melee combat, absolute violence.
[SPEAKER_02]: And in the deaths of these alpha legions, they showed the blood angels that the red thirst still lives within the primaris marines.
[SPEAKER_00]: They got them to fall into the black rage and the new primaris marines.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, showing that their actual gene seed is cursed forever.
[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, so there we go.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's an alpha lesion 101 maneuver right there.
[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, how about we make an entire lesion set?
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, lots of our dies die, yeah, but you'll be sad.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but we'll make them sad.
[SPEAKER_02]: Go for it.
[SPEAKER_02]: But with that, I think that's enough, Alpha Legion for now.
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll come back to them in the future, obviously, a lot.
[SPEAKER_02]: As we discuss more of the events of Warhammer 40K, they play a key role in a lot of wars, a lot of crusades throughout all of 40K, especially Abadon's Crusades.
[SPEAKER_02]: But next week, we're going to pivot over to a major fan request.
[SPEAKER_02]: Don of War 4 is coming out this year.
[SPEAKER_02]: We don't know when, but sometime.
[SPEAKER_02]: So let's do the blood Ravens.
[SPEAKER_02]: The great thieves of the Imperium.
[SPEAKER_02]: They accept that they take stuff for themselves, not really for us.
[SPEAKER_00]: They don't rob and hurt it.
[SPEAKER_00]: I steal from the rich and give to me.
[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_02]: I will of note I'm 900 hours into Don of War on Steam and that's
[SPEAKER_02]: on Steam, I owned the game before Steam came out, so I'm well over a thousand hours into this game.
[SPEAKER_02]: So this is gonna be fun, yeah, I'm old enough to own CDs, but so next week, Blood Ravens guys, till then, John Barsotti, Brad Chester, this guy, have a great week.
[UNKNOWN]: Thank you.
