I just wanted to go to school, get a good job, and live life like me getting married so soon, or on to college, getting afford scholarship to college, living the life that we live right now, being on reality TV, being on the open network, like I used to watch her with my grandmother growing up, So I could have never envisioned this life or drip of the life that I'm living right now. I'm grateful, but it was not my plan. Definitely is God's plan.

Speaker 4: Yeah, And I feel like a lot of it was Marceau's plan too, because when we first met Marceau, what was so interesting about the dynamic in your marriage four years ago was the fact that Marceau had a lot of opinions. As you stated earlier, Titia, you know, look Marceau likes to say how he feels, regardless if it's controversial or not. Marcel's gonna say how he feels. So when this show first came about, this opportunity to be on TV came about, did you two have a conversation about whether or not you should do it? And be honest, who was more into the idea of being on TV.

Me on the other hand, I was like, I don't know, because, like I said it in the scene that I struggled with my communication and I normally I don't speak a lot. Even doing our interview with you guys, I was like, oh, my life's not interesting. So I just didn't think I would like add to it. So I was like, I don't I didn't want to really do it. But then we had the construction over here.

Unfortunately, Marcel Scott took that as an open door policy to send Carlos King a scathing email that outlined his disdain in the show being called Love and Marriage Huntsville because he thought the show should be called Built to Last due to their comeback group and the double A toon drum of built to last meeting relationships and built to last meeting construction. So, mar So, the person who reads everybody, mss Wanda to Barack Obama, talk to me about why you felt the need to send Carlos King a scathing email.

Speaker 6: People don't realize that yes we're on reality TV, but we're still humans, and we still have feelings, and we still have families, and we still have friends, and so they just come at us so hard. So what I have to do, honestly, I, like you said, I have to stay off social media. Sometimes it just depends on the energy and how I'm feeling at that moment, but I have to know what's real and what's not. Like I stay grounded with my friends. I have an amazing group of friends that you know, I'm so blessed to have. And then also my family and of course Marsa. He's always giving me tips and advice. But then when it comes to my kids, like that's my main protection right there. So my kids are not on social media at all. Even though I stundred's fifteen, he's not on social media. And so I just make sure that at the end of the day, once we're done filming and once the show comes back out and we hear all of these comments and things, I just try to take some time out for myself, take some time out to travel with my family and just enjoy it. Like at the end of the day, if I'm gonna get out of this heat, I need to make sure that the show is paying me enough to be able to take a quick vacation once we're done filming.

This is back in This is seven years ago. It's my first time like having that position of hosting a reunion show. Long story short, A lot of people in my circle was like, you killed it. You did a good job, you did a fantastic job. And I said, okay, thank you baby. I went on Twitter and people read me for philth stay behind the camera. I hate your voice. You talk funny. Where's the base in your voice?

Speaker 4: Stop trying to be so and so? And I lost it. I lost it, And that was my first realization of, oh shit, you now are experiencing what your reality starts are experiencing.

Speaker 4: Nowadays, I don't give a fuck, like y'all can kiss my ass. Fuck you, but talk to me about the time where it really hurts you so much to where you felt the need to just get off of Twitter, you know, as a whole.

Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean the first two years, especially the first year, we have been very honest about everything, and like I said, sometimes we really forget the cameras are there. So when you hear these conversations that I'm having with Marsa, with my mom or with anybody, these are real conversations. And so I remember when I was breaking down in my room talking to Brint about speaking of talking about my communication skill because I didn't want to discuss that.

Speaker 6: But I knew it was something that I've been struggling with my entire life, and so I felt like with Brint's help, people was like, you know, you're gonna help some more people. So after that episode, I got so many like comments about you know, you can't say this, and people are always judging my communication in my annunciation now, but I get so many hate messages about you can't say this. You know you're from you know the projects and you're from the other side of the track. Your husband don't don't love you. You know, you're not pretty, you want to be like some of the other people on the cast, And I'm like, I felt like I was protecting my whole life because I was like, I've never dealt with this much hate from a group of people ever in my life. So it was very, very hurtful, and I'm not gonna even lie and say it then make me.

Speaker 6: Person, so sometimes I did cry, you know, through the process, and I had to pray to God and be like Why am I experiencing this? Because I'm not a mean person. I'm not a hateful person. I don't do this to people, So why is it happening to me? So it's like Tisha is just a process and just you just have to make it through it. Jesus dealt with this as well. He dealt with hating with Crucifib as well. So it was very hurtful and I went through a very sad moment I think in my life, even with Marcel and people talking about our marriage and questioning our marriage and calling me not Eve and Stu, just all type of days because I'm with my husband and I'm defending my husband over things that you guys are throwing at him, and I understand he's receiving this heat as well. So it's like at this point, it's like throw whatever you want at me. We're going to We're going to fight this together. So another thing the reunion, the first reunion, when I was on stage and I was emotional and I was upset and wanted just to be mainly because it was a division between us two. So whenever we're divided, it's like more pressure on me. But as long as we're together, doing this thing together, then I can handle it. But it's been a very tough ride.

Speaker 4: And Marthal, you are super confident. And one thing I've witnessed being around the two of you is you're very protective of Tisha. So when you saw your wife go through this pain, crying, being depressed by what people are saying about her, how did you console her in this and what did you say to her for her to realize that you can't pay attention to these people. Because when I think about you, Marcel, you clap back, and I feel like you enjoy it.

I don't strike out, but when you come in, you say something to me, Now, let the jokes, rain's, let's have some fun, right, And that to me is all fun and games. But what got me the most is when I realized I'm looking over like, yeah, Mabe, we got them, we got them, and I'm thinking we're good, and teach is not good. And so I realized that no matter how hard I hit back that first hit steal, maybe it missed me, but it hit Tisha. And so I'm not being a protector that I thought I would being by allowing this to happen. And you know, it's like fighting rain drops. You know, you're not gonna win them all. And so what I had to learn is that I just wanted to focus on on Tsha, that's wanted to focus on strenthen.

Speaker 1: They're watching a TV show, and even if they don't love you, they'll hate you whatever it is. You know, Let's make this thing financial, you know. And so in my mind I look at it and every time some blogger says something crazy against seventy thousand, eighty thousand views, or said something crazy about me and tear or all whatever it is, that person makes marvel and teaching more relevant and in the midst of that, they're they're helping build my house.

Speaker 4: This podcast with my reality stars and friends is an opportunity to talk about things that obviously we don't talk about at the reunion. And I want to share a story about how Marcel almost quit the show. Do you remember this, Marcel, Yeah, so let me tell the story of Marcea. So season one airs, it's eight episodes, and the first eight episodes and you guys can attest to this was this big revelation of Martel cheating a melody, right, it was like that was like the drama. For the first eight episodes, it was like whoa, Like we've never seen on reality TV a married couple go through this in real.

I'm not somebody who never had to show canceled. Before I had shows canceled, so I'm always thankful to God when the show gets a second season, a third season, fourth season. You can just never not be thankful when you get another order. So, long story short, we got additional episodes and Martel and Marceu got to this whole thing. About twenty women watched the show to get the details. So it became like this big story these other episodes, right, And I remember getting a call from Marcel, who, by the way, as you guys know, sent the scathing email to me, thinking like.

You're building this, this this cigar Borough lounge called Black. But make sure when you're talking about it, we're at Black. I don't care if the ship is under construction, it'll be at Black. Wear the black T shirt, wear the black baseball cap, and always talk about black facts.

But where we're from and what I've known to do in different areas is to really essentially not just renegotiate your terms, but redirect your path.

I had a meeting a few hours ago and this woman said to me, she said, you have this gift to where it's your job to make people happy, and it's your job for people to find themselves and be successful, Like I get a high off of people being successful and one thing you don't know Marcel and Tsha. I constantly use you, guys as an example of a couple, and Melodia Martel too, as a couple who went through the fire in terms of social media and rumors and all this other shit, but came out of it. I don't like roses because their focus was always on the end goal. And one thing about being a public figure is and this is something I learned from Oprah Winfrey, you can't you can't focus on what people are saying about you or thinking about you, because when you're famous, you carry the weight of other people's dreams on your shoulders. And what I mean by that is, nine times out of ten, the people who are hating on you they want.

They feel like, if I'm in a cubicle, then you need to be in a cubicle two. And I appreciate the fact that you two get a lot of hate, but you also get a lot of love.
