00:00:03 Speaker 1: Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King. I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your favorite shows from the Real Housewives in Atlanta, New Jersey and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and Bell Collective. Every episode we recap reality television from the Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or scripted as well, so rain drops, we have to get into some breaking news that happen in the Bravo world. In addition to recapping the latest episode of The Real Housewives a Potomac, we got Dustin Ross here and please give it up for the very beautiful aries. Queen Claudia Jordans. 00:01:00 Speaker 2: You miss you guys last Friday. Yes, yes, I hope I was missed as much as I missed you too. 00:01:07 Speaker 3: Miss you. You got a good tan girl. You look good. 00:01:11 Speaker 2: I do a little blonde street hold on my track is shown, not. 00:01:14 Speaker 1: Your track track, So. 00:01:19 Speaker 2: Now I put it here. I mean a different woman every day. I got to lay out the sun for like three hours on I needed it so bad. On Saturday about the film. It was much needed rest, a good time. 00:01:31 Speaker 1: You look amazing. 00:01:34 Speaker 2: I have no foundation on. I just feel like a little blush right there. Like I want to like just be more and more natural minus the blonde brief well track. Yes, always so like you. 00:01:45 Speaker 1: You always give natural and you always give it good. You look beautiful. So thank you Claudia for stepping and baby, she's a busy girl, so listen. I gotta start this off with some very sad news. As you we all know, Candy Burris has filed for divorce from her husband of eleven years, Todd Tucker. This was announced Friday night in a statement to People magazine shout out to a friend to the show, Dave Quinn, as well as Stephanie Winger and Grilling telling Candy quoted in her statement, after deep thought and a lot of prayer, I've made the decision to move forward with a divorce. This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co parenting with love and respect. I'm stepping into a new chapter, pouring into my work, my family, and my own growth. I'm grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I asked for privacy, grace and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family starting off with Claudia Jordan and what are your thoughts on this breaking news. 00:03:17 Speaker 2: I'm shocked. I'm really surprised by this. I hung out with Candy last May around her birthday. I was in Atlanta. Was it for my play? I was like, I think I was out of Atlanta, and yeah, for the play. Jill Marie Jones is really good friends with Candy as well, and she's like, let's all go to dinner. So we went to dinner and it was just happily. Right before her birthday. You know, she had tour us and we were like, I'm like, you know, we got the bill because she went to pull a check and we're like, no, we gotta like, let's make this the official kickoff for your birthday. So she was like, what you can tell she's not used to people taking care of her. I will say that because she was like it was like a big deal. And then she gave us a ride to our car. We're in the car with her and and her and Todd would like check it up on each other and make sure making sure I'm saved to a car and I'll tax you lately, like they seem like no signs for the little interaction around us, and I was like, oh, they're so cute self. I remember thinking of that, They're so cute, like the conservative husband, the building wife checking in and I had no idea, no idea. So I'm sad about it, I really am. I I liked them together. 00:04:26 Speaker 3: Dustin Ross, Yeah, I'm with Claudia. 00:04:30 Speaker 4: I was shocked on this one too. 00:04:32 Speaker 3: Candy and Todd have literally built our life together, you know what I'm saying. They have a beautiful, blended family, got two beautiful babies together. Candy has always publicly showed it out of love to Kayla, you know, she claims. Kayla toddes all this daughter as one of her children. Todd always is showing love to Riley. I just have always loved their blended family. I think they've done that well, with the exception of some relationships that have been challenging to blend Kim and Mama Joyce, But for the most part, I love what they presented. Man. Look, Candy, I'm going to do what she said. In that statement, Candy asked for grace. She asked for understanding, and I'm gonna give that to her. I'm sad to see their relationship break down. They always had and much like what Claudia just was referring to, Candy and Todd, to me, always had a really cool friendship element to their relationship. They always seem like they had a lot of fun together. I truly hope that they don't lose their friendship throughout all of this. I hope somehow, some way, since they got kids together and they got a kind of co parent, I hope that they're able to salvage of some sort of friendship because Candy actually strikes me as the type of person who can have a cool friendship with her ex, you know what I'm saying, And I just hope that they get there. I'm really gonna give her grace and under her aunt Todd and their whole family grace and understanding. I know Riley and Kayli are close. I've seen them out in New York City together before a couple of times, you know what I'm saying. Riley did an interview the other day where she was being asked about her boyfriend, and she was like, well, I met him through my sister. Speaking about Kayla, like, I just hope they can. They maintained that connection although the relationship is ending, you know what I'm saying. 00:06:17 Speaker 2: And Tom was just hyping up getting with the Wifetime Achievement award. She got like he was showing a love and all that, which is good. That does give us like a good like maybe maybe they'll keep it amicable and cute and and you know when you when you're in reality, so a couple, you know, and we all know this's phrase that Mama Joy says little the scheme that's talk set up and targets blame for everything now right, But like to know that in spite of that, they were naysayers in their relationship that they lasted this long listen, eleven years, ain't no punk. That's the amount of time most marriages, what over fifty percent of marriages and divorced these days. So they beat the odds for a long time. Most people of the seven year itch, you know, it's still to be commanding, like running here, people like have these long term marriages and they it doesn't go to the and they're like, oh I feel like a failure. I'm like, I don't look at as a failure. I look at like y'all. Y'all actually did a thing that most people can and get to the altar for many, many years. So don't feel ashamed, you know what I mean. 00:07:11 Speaker 5: So, yeah, it sucks like she Candy was on her speak on the show today and what she did say is it's a pretty crazy time for her right now. 00:07:25 Speaker 1: She said, I'm going to be very honest with you. I am up and down. Obviously, going through a divorce is definitely not the easiest thing. Sometimes you're cool, you're moving, you're mixing, you're moving, you're hanging out with friends. But then sometimes you have your moments of sadness. And me, being the tourist that I am, I like to keep those moments to myself. When I was on Housewives, I really couldn't keep moments to myself when I got upset, so y'all would catch me crying. But in real life, my every day life, I don't really like for those moments to be shared with the world. She added that, so all the time, I'm sorry. She added that this is something that has been brewing for a while. So all the times you've been seeing me online all smiles means nothing. I've been going through it. Child, I've been going through it. Life has been lifing me. So you guys saw the clip. You know, obviously she she's she's She's obviously very sad about this, no secret. Obviously I've known them for years. I was around actually in Africa when they first met, so I saw their attraction to each other, you know, immediately, along with obviously the people who were involved in the production at that time. I was seized and four with Africa. And then they got married after season six. Yes, they got married after season six. And look, it is very sad. It's very sad when you know two people you know, fail really hard and heals and love over each other. And ten years is a very long time to be married. It's tough to be married and the live and like for sure, we don't know any other reasons because Candy wants to keep this private and that's what she has chosen to do. I do want to ask the range off because obviously you guys, obviously a lot of you guys come from the housewives world watching the show since day one. Let me know in the comments, is it something you guys are surprised? You know, we've seen all the child y'all. Are y'all are digging up all the archival footage not only from housewives, y'all also dig up archival footage YouTube stuff as well. So, Raine, Josh, let me know the comments your thoughts on this. Did y'all see this coming? Are you all surprised? Let me know one thing that has been the talk of the weekend, so much so that even our friend Kenya Moore has to step in the comments to state her her thoughts on it. 00:10:26 Speaker 6: So there is a viral clip that has resurfaced, and it's a viral clip of Todd talking to Candy as she's getting glam done. 00:10:41 Speaker 1: And in this conversation, Todd is raising the questions about a man wanting half the money in the divorce, right, Claudia and Dusta, have you guys seen this clip I'm talking about? So in the in the in the clip, I'm gonna of course paraphrasey guy because I can't play it. But in the cliff, Todd is saying that, look, he feels that if a man was brought into the relationship with a woman who was established that have money, but his involvement in said woman's success has ballooned. Todd felt that the man should be able to get something out of it financially. Ken You Moore made a comment, I want to get dust in a Claudia's thoughts on it? Can you Moore made a comment and she said, I quote it's a husband's job to support his wife however he can, and vice versatility. I think Ken, vice versa autocorrect that doesn't mean a payday. That is what support looks like. Claudia, you've been married one time. What are your thoughts on that? 00:11:56 Speaker 4: You know? 00:11:58 Speaker 1: Tom raised a question that. 00:12:00 Speaker 7: Was also brought up on love and marriage Huntsville. What are your thoughts. 00:12:04 Speaker 1: That if a man that you are married to and you are a woman that has success the moment he enters your life and. 00:12:14 Speaker 7: Collectively or courtesy whatever, your career has. 00:12:18 Speaker 1: Balloon and you're making all this money since you've been with him and he has helped you with certain things. Does he deserve some of your financial success, whether it's half of the money some of it. What are your thoughts. 00:12:31 Speaker 8: I've never thought either spouse, husband or wife should get half of the other person's money that has working, and that even goes for women. 00:12:43 Speaker 2: The thought that you can marry someone and then it doesn't work out, and you're entitled to maintaining lifestyle like I had. I should still get the benefits of being with you even though we broke up, and maybe I am cheated. Not saying he did, but I'm just saying, do I think soone should to be left desolate? 00:12:58 Speaker 9: No? 00:12:59 Speaker 2: I do not. But I'm never going to be a No one could ever make me see the fifty percent thing when I'm the one going to bookings, working crisscross in the country, doing all that, and you support you're supposed to be. You're supposed to support me as my partner, and I was supposed to support too. Should it get something, Yeah, there will be some assets that you know, they will go through the stuff that they acquired where they were together. They did have businesses together. I did read a bunch of the stuff that was out there about how can a lot of times Candy Funnel financed a lot of his ideas and businesses that did not not all became successful. So I'm sure that was a that's probably a strain, you know, I don't know, but I'm sure it's a strain. But the half hell the fuck? No, No, absolutely not. And I think for some reason. Call me old fashioned, but it just rubs me even worse way when it's a man asking for like a chunk of the money like that, Like what Offset's doing when you're the one that was all he cheating something. Yeah, let's part and give you some assets so you're not just left this on, but not a big chunk. Absolutely, when you lose me, you also lose the banfits to come along. And just like you don't get to smash some more, you don't get to spend my money. 00:14:09 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:14:10 Speaker 3: The great thing about this question is that it is answered definitively by a prenuptial agreement. Okay, And one thing we know because we watched that playout on The Housewives, is that Candy was adamant and determined to have tied agree to a prenuptial arrangement that would settle all this sort of confusion. 00:14:31 Speaker 4: Right. 00:14:31 Speaker 3: They obviously have things outline in that prenup. Hopefully those protections do their job and protect her assets. And look, Candy seems like a person who would be fair about the asset division, right, Like if there was a project like the restaurants per se that we know that they open together, you know what I'm saying, and different projects that they worked on together that have seen you, that have been successful. I'm sure that she'll rightfully divide that shit up. But I don't think he should have access to the fortune that she made before she got with him. 00:15:02 Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. 00:15:03 Speaker 3: She wrote all them songs and shit before Todd was even a thing in her life. So money they made together, sure, but the money that she already had, I think that should stay, and I'm sure it will stay where it belongs. You know, we're talking about trusts for her children. We're talking about a lot of different things here. This ain't just you know, a thousand dollars in the bank. This is like, these are real assets here that I'm sure Candy protected. 00:15:30 Speaker 2: So remember he was upset when they were about to get married about that. That was an issue, right. 00:15:36 Speaker 1: Yeah, it was feature on Mi Schoewe. I produced a wedding special. It was. It was a big conversation. If you guys remember watching the Candy and Todd wedding special, there's a scene at the rehearsal dinner where they do talk about the prenup and they got into an argument. Todd left and the jeep and drove off. Obviously they got married anyway, Don't ask me. I don't know anything about the particulars of said Prena. I'm not Randy Kessler, a lawyer in Atlanta that has represented Nini and Porsche, Tamika Raymond, and Chris Overne, neils X and a lot of a lot of women. I am Randy kessel Child. I'll give Randy Kessler to come and join us to talk about this maybe. But a lot of people in the comments, and we're gonna talk about a Tommy too. But a lot of people in the comments, Claudia and Dustin, they are divided. There are people in the comments who are saying they do believe Todd deserves half. Well, this is what they're saying in the comments, and as y'all clip this, these are the comments of people on this Live. The four thousand, one hundred and sixty four people that we have live, thank you. The thing is this, there's people in the comments who are saying that Toad does not deserve any money prior to Mary Candy. Like you said, Dustin, he didn't write the songs and he wasn't in the group. They are saying that the businesses they've done together. Obviously that should be up equally split. And there are people in the comments who are saying that, look, did he increase her profile being on the show with her? You know, there are people in the comments saying that does he deserve something because of his role as her husband and what that was for her on the show in addition to other things. 00:17:39 Speaker 3: No, And obviously if you watched the show, right, I think sometimes people have a difficult time separating real matters in real life versus your opinion of somebody on the show. And obviously, you know what I'm saying, he don't deserve none of that. If anyone's profile was elevated between the two of them, it was tids. Tybee came a legitimate Broadway producer. He produced films, he has He has done a lot of things that he might not have done otherwise, you know what I'm saying. So his profile elevated. Yes, he brought an added dynamic to her, her family unit that she showcased on the show. But let's be real, you know what I'm saying, there's no bag here waiting on him from being married to her, and we'll be agreeing to appear on the show. They did legitimate business together. They can divvy that up. You know what I'm saying that everybody can go about their damn business. 00:18:32 Speaker 2: So and you know, again, he did what became the primary I don't know if it's a primary caretaker, but he definitely picked up a lot of slack because Kenny's so successful and so busy with you know, work with her work. But that's exactly what a spouse is supposed to do. A spouse is supposed to That's not babysitting when it's your children. It's your children. And did that make life easier for her to go ahead and be on tour and produce these plays. Yes, it did. That's what you're supposed to do. So yeah, like I do think you should get something, but I do not think half. I mean, I'm a hard work on myself, and you know we all are, right imagine all the work we do. You fall in love with someone and you have the purest intentions for them, and the person you are today is not the person you are when you break up. The person you break up with is not the whole person got with at the beginning, And all of a sudden they like, well I was with you. I made you look good, and you look good on camera because you had someone on your arm when I Because of that, I deserve half your money. Well, did you get half of the jet lag when I was going across the Did you get half of the COVID when I got sick when I had to speak to all the people in the audience to be tea wards? Did you get half? Did you get half of the stress and the exhaustion that I had when I was burning the cameop both ends so we can live in mansions? No, you did not. So yeah, I'll be fair and we'll do something fair. But I don't I and I will say this to the people. What about when it's a man? I believe the woman should. 00:19:55 Speaker 1: That's what the comments said to Claudia Joe. Joe j nine two fifty said. If the rolls were reversed, y'all would be screaming give her half. 00:20:03 Speaker 3: You don't know me, you don't know what the hell I would be screaming because I wouldn't be saying that. 00:20:07 Speaker 2: I've always tooke against it. I said that women, you can get mad at me if you want to. But I do not believe I bleed something fair especially now. It is different when the woman is going to be left that gave That woman gave up her career to be a mother and a housewife to you while you flourished. This case is a little bit different. Candy, Mary and Todd actually gave him a career. He was a producer. I'm not taking that away from him. But if you don't think it wasn't ten x and force multiplied. Okay, Carloson use your phrase by being married to some when the stars and you know, one of the longest running housewives, then you're crazy, you know what I mean? Like, it definitely elevated his career as well. He definitely benefited a lot from marrying her. 00:20:49 Speaker 3: Somebody just said, y'all just posted a comment. They said, what was Candy producing before tied? 00:20:54 Speaker 4: Though? This is what I mean. 00:20:56 Speaker 3: This is what I mean, right, Like, what do you mean was she producing before tied? 00:21:02 Speaker 4: Though? 00:21:03 Speaker 3: Obviously we're saying that the projects that they worked on collaboratively, right, he deserves half of the proceeds attached to those things. We're talking about him not being able to access and attain her literal fortune that she amassed before he was in her life. Okay, So it's not about what was Candy producing before tied, though she actually had done a lot of shit before tied. Okay, she was exactly she was producing Grammys, she was producing hit records for other artists. 00:21:36 Speaker 4: Come on, you know what I'm saying. 00:21:37 Speaker 3: So, like I just people a lot of times want to just attach themselves to the counterpoint, and it's simply not hear in this case, you know what I'm saying, It's simple the things that they worked on collaboratively. He's entitled to half of the proceeds connected anything she did prior to him or independent of him, he is not entitled to. 00:21:58 Speaker 2: It's very simple, and I think it should be just the things that they produce together, not the tour that I got wild during our marriage and I made three million dollars. But I just happened to be married to you at the time. Fuck that I know. And I would say the same again about a woman saying, you know, getting half by sitting at home, like it should be fair, But I don't believe that if I'm doing all the work. Yeah, you support me, but you're supposed to be my mate, okay, And I'll never be okay with just I give you half my money because I was out there working, and because you had the benefit of being in my life and being in a relationship with me, you get half of the money. Know. 00:22:39 Speaker 1: Yeah, well, you know, you know what's fascinating about this conversation, and we should do another time to really dive into it. But what I will say is, if you look at the comments, which I find fascinating, it's a lot of women who are on top side. Not Tod's side that in terms of what the prenum said, because if nobody knows what the prenum says, but but a lot of women in the comments are on top side based on the viral video that they had on a YouTube channel when he did say if a man did come to your life, he does feel that the man deserves something. So I do find that fascinating that you know, it's not just this gender debate, right, because as you guys saw in the comments, it's a lot of women who are aging the top. There's a lot of women who have candies back. There's But I will say, for me reading the comments, I I am surprised that I do see a lot of women. 00:23:38 Speaker 2: I'm not because women a lot of times be hating on other women, especially when Candy and they're they're already mad that she gets so bad she keeps he's getting back up. So there's a lot of pigmies that be like, oh listen, ladies, being on his side is not gonna make him choose you, so knock it off. Okay, because of you, you're gonna be crying and your Instagram going live like Tyree's. 00:24:03 Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, a lot of pick me out there. 00:24:06 Speaker 2: Come on. I'm not saying he should have get anything. I'm saying he should not get have I'm saying he should get something and everything that he contributed to. But it's no funny. Yeah, she gets happy his debt though too. All those projects that she funded that didn't that weren't successful. She you know, she can't get that refund that money back. But I do think Kenny's gonna be fair about this, and she did it a pretaps a protection. It does also help, you know, it's gonna it's I'm sure it sets up that he's going to get X, Y and Z in the case that they break up. 00:24:35 Speaker 3: I also want to make a very important note here right the clip that's going viral where Todd is in conversation with Candy while she's in Glam. Those were a series of YouTube videos that Todd, you're supposed to his account, his YouTube account called Todd and the Glam Squad, right, and they would have discussions about hypothetical situations related to family, marriage, relationships, sometimes business things like that, and they speak in hypothetical situations and not necessarily talk about their own feelings and opinions right in the circumstances that they presented. So in that clip that's circulating, that's not even really Todd saying I. 00:25:14 Speaker 4: Would do this. 00:25:15 Speaker 3: He's speaking from the perspective of kind of playing devil's advocate to the conversation that they were having that day. And I think that people, because of what's going on, people are taking that clip and attaching it to their divorce and saying that this is Todd's opinion about him and Candy's divorce. And he's never said anything. He hasn't spoken out since the divorce announcement was made. He's never said that he's. 00:25:39 Speaker 4: Going after Candy's money or anything. So I think people are. 00:25:42 Speaker 3: Trying to are just jumping the gun here a little bit and wanting to debate, wanting to have something to go back and forth about when Todd has, and it's actually unfair to Todd because he's being painted as this guy that's going after half of Candy's money and he hasn't even said that he wants to do that. So I just want to make said, no, you know what I'm saying, that's not Todd saying I'm gonna do this to Candy. He was They was having a discussion, a conversation about things like that, So I just. 00:26:08 Speaker 2: Want to At first, when I saw the videy, I thought, like, you know, when people do hypotheticals and sometimes you do inject some of your personal feelings and that's your way of kind of getting a little shot in. But like, oh, we're just we an't abouty else. We're talking about that. At first I did think of like maybe he felt a way when he was saying that stuff, like you know, like injecting some of his feelings. But I will say this, Todd is going to get demon eyes a little bit, right, And I don't think that's right until we hear from Candy that he did her dirty in some way. We shouldn't do that, because up until this week, we were all rooting for them. We like them both, and he hadn't shown us any I haven't seen anything negative that he's done. And matter of fact, I saw him do He kind of made a joke about the whole scheme that Todd set up about he has a movie coming out or something, and he was like, my next scheme would be the best one in Candy was in the comments lol, being supportive. So that shows me that it ain't like a hurting like Stuio you cheating on me. It didn't seem to be that. So we may be trying to assign blame on someone that hasn't even doesn't even deserve it. 00:27:14 Speaker 1: This is reality with the King, and I'm Carlos King. Let's get back into the show. Yeah, and listen, this is this is this is fresh, and listen my thoughts and press brought out to Candy and Todd and obviously their children. This is obviously very very very sad, and I hope we are very amicable. 00:27:37 Speaker 4: Yeah, you know. 00:27:40 Speaker 3: And I want Riley and Kayla to stay tight. I love the fact that their relationship evolved in and then being literal sisters and friends, and I want their relationship to stay tight. I don't know if you guys watch Next Gen NYC on Bravo, but it's the show that Riley is now a cast member on and it features like Kim Josiek's daughter Ariana Bierman and Teresa's daughter Giaz on that show, and damn, I. 00:28:06 Speaker 4: Just lost oh. 00:28:07 Speaker 3: Riley had some issues on the show with some of the cast members making microaggressions and just really treating her fucked up last season, and a lot of us that were watching the show we wanted Riley to have somebody like defend her. I saw a clip of it, may have been Alive or something, but Kayla was talking to camera on Instagram and she was like, as far as that Next Gin show is concerned, she was like, y'all know, I went up on that set to check on my sister and checking people for her. She was like, y'all know I went up there. They just didn't show it. She was like, I was up there to that. So I want them to keep that relationship. I love it when people form those sort of bonds, you know what I'm saying. And I want they have they share siblings in common. I want them to stay in good relationship. And I really hope the best for them, because I, like I said, Candy asked for grace and that statement, I'm gonna honor. 00:28:55 Speaker 4: That, you know what. 00:28:56 Speaker 2: I I do think that came be fair because we all see from Instagram. I mean we don't know them, know their lies, but it does seem like he's been an excellent father taking kids to school and pick up, not being pla because again that's his family. But you know, you got to give creditble credit, dude, and I do think that he deserves something, just not. 00:29:17 Speaker 4: Half mm hmm. 00:29:18 Speaker 1: Yeah. So we will continue to follow this story as it unfold, all right, So let's get into something that can make all of us smile and laugh. And that is the most recent episode of the Real Housewives of Stacy. I mean, for tell me my Bad. I forgot the I got the title of My Bad. Stacey is gathering the girls and she's doing get one QBC monotone boys after another. 00:29:49 Speaker 4: So let's. 00:29:53 Speaker 1: There is something about the Michigan Girls on TV. We got Toya Butch Harris, we got Kenya the icon legend more and now we have Stacy from Potomac. So the episode was the continuation Claudia and Dustin. Uh Listen, Kenna, listen. It was a smoldering glag, a smoldering glare. You know what I'm saying, Like like that. 00:31:27 Speaker 3: She she looked so goddamn beautiful in that three second clip, and I literally posted it on my Twitter account. I was like, Yo, she deserves to be back, just off the strength of her beauty alone. 00:31:41 Speaker 4: I don't care. 00:31:42 Speaker 3: It's so many housewives don't feel I'm just saying it's so many housewives who y'all who take up space whatever on different casts. And I know people have strong opinions about Keana as a full time cast member on Real Housewives of Potomac. 00:31:57 Speaker 4: I don't give a fuck, Okay. 00:31:59 Speaker 3: I think she is a gorgeous, beautiful, pretty ass black woman that I want to see more. I like looking at her, and I think that she's so pretty that that's actually a value. It's it's actually it's a it's a resource almost for her. It's an asset like her beauty. She's a beautiful, beautiful woman. And that one little clip, of course, it struck a chord with all other gays. You know, we've seen that clip and we was like, god, damn like y'o she wom And now it's so it's going away from gay Twitter into everybody else's you know, Twitter universe. And I love that for her because she's trending as the pretty girl, and I think that's so cool. 00:32:37 Speaker 4: She deserves. 00:32:38 Speaker 2: She's so pretty in her mama, she get it from Gorgeous. Went both of them like. 00:32:47 Speaker 3: It ain't going nowhere. That means they ain't going nowhere. She's gonna be fine for a long time. 00:32:51 Speaker 1: Gorge pick on nowhere baby believe that so keith r No give this Claudia, you give. 00:33:09 Speaker 2: Me a headache with that key. What we not about to do? 00:33:16 Speaker 1: Why can you help me in a practicing in front of Claudia damn kiarana okay job she went to the University of Bryant, who after studying her courses at the University of Bryant, that is, she throwd the pot. She acts directly in front of Monique, in front of Stacy. Look Stacey or dating Chris, her ex husband, and Stacey looked dumbfounded and denied it. They then the shady editors Claudia Dustin flashed back to the producer camp, where she did admit that they did hang out, which presumably would mean a date. Then all of a sudden, what we do see is the fact that Monique is unbothered by you. 00:34:18 Speaker 7: She's like, look, we've been divorced almost two years. 00:34:21 Speaker 1: He could do what he want to do. But before I get to what Monique said about her and Chris, I do want to get into this first. Stacey is the new Mia in terms of lying right and will. Now look, I think I think, I think, I think Stacey has all her furniture, So we will, we will, we will differentiate that. Okay. 00:34:49 Speaker 3: Uh. 00:34:50 Speaker 1: By the way, Claudia dust a little surprise for you guys. Don't know if you know this or you even rain drops Mia who was arrested last week for llegedly stealing furniture. Uh that worthy of eleven thousand dollars from a furnished rental. She has me surfaced, doesn't Claudia with a new post. 00:35:11 Speaker 2: I thought she couldn't get out. 00:35:12 Speaker 4: She was still she looks really good. 00:35:15 Speaker 3: She does man out of jail California king stealing. 00:35:24 Speaker 2: And that's not being shady all range, always trying to find one more picture. 00:35:29 Speaker 1: Claudia doeshing. 00:35:30 Speaker 4: Oh she looks good now she looks good at fucking pictures. She looks good, doesn't that? 00:35:36 Speaker 1: Claudia? She says she is reborn, resent her and refocused. Okay, wait, dues the last thing she said year forty one. May it be soft, wealthy, protected and intentional. 00:35:57 Speaker 2: Yo, when people listen, I love it about our people. When we're going through it, we gotta do a faith. De quote ain't something mm hmm. 00:36:06 Speaker 4: Read the Bible. 00:36:08 Speaker 2: It's a Bible quote. 00:36:09 Speaker 1: Yeah, I could do all things through Christ. 00:36:11 Speaker 4: I love my kids. I love God, I love my kids. 00:36:17 Speaker 2: They always you don't see a papa with the kids every game. 00:36:21 Speaker 4: You know what the new one is to Claudia, My healing journey. That's the new one. I'm healing, you know, I'm healing. 00:36:28 Speaker 2: Yeah, and now we need the word. I'm so sick of healing. 00:36:31 Speaker 10: Triggered journey, that narrative, narrative, Yeah, we need my truth? What the. 00:36:46 Speaker 3: That's how you know the motherfucker is down to the core liar when they start hitting me with the well my truth is. 00:36:53 Speaker 1: Well, Stay said. Her truth was she did have mester Robert prins. So what do we think about that? 00:36:58 Speaker 3: Dustin Stay TV lying But it's funny when she lies because we can't see it on her face, first of all. And speaking of faces, I'm glad that you said that this was gonna make us smile and laugh when we talk about patuma, because I'm gonna tell you who wasn't smiling laughing. Tmo Stacy's ex husband, When I tell you, his face was so goddamn toe up in that scene when they were at that at that swimming practice, he was every time he was she was talking to Tea who Tia was there being messy, so he was actually right, you know what I'm saying. But the whole time they was talking, Timo was sitting in that scene face all toe up and ship. I'm like, damn, just don't film. 00:37:37 Speaker 4: I rather and just don't fuck with it. Just don't film because that did not look happy. 00:37:44 Speaker 2: He's like, I'm sicking niggas. That's what he looked like, these black motherfuckers, and the drama sicking of you and words hardy are. 00:37:58 Speaker 11: Too. 00:38:00 Speaker 2: He did not look friendly. I'm not having a February on Black History monk with him making all them faces. 00:38:09 Speaker 4: He had resting bitch face, right, you don't. 00:38:12 Speaker 2: Want to look desperate and bad, and then you're lying, oh he's flying out. He's not flying out. He flew back in today, which is. 00:38:21 Speaker 1: Well, I think that's the thing. So look it. 00:38:25 Speaker 7: Before we get to all of Stacey's inaccuracies. 00:38:29 Speaker 1: Of her truth, how did you guys feel when you learn from a nique that she felt that what happened between her and Chris was she said in her words on paraphrasing, of course, she said they had to uphold his image, and she talked about how Hegeazell. I remember a couple of years ago. You said to me when I told you that around my birthday, I felt like he picks an argument with me. And Gizelle said, do you think it's because it's all about you? And don't like that she's intimating that that could be it. But the one thing she said that what was fascinating was when she talked about the day she knew it was like over and she talked about they had she felt like whenever she whenever he did something nice, it was to get you know, pretty much sex out of it. And after they have sex, she said, she rolled over and she pretty much again I'm paraphrasing, doesn't it just she felt like she. 00:39:29 Speaker 4: Just was used or something piece of me? Yeah, she said. 00:39:32 Speaker 3: She said that she tested her theory because, like you said, Carlos, she thought that anytime he was nice to her, it was only because he wanted to have sex. Basically, that's what she was suggesting, said, And so she said she tested that theory out and it came true. You know, it proved to be true, and she said that was the last time she slept with him. She said, after they finished, and she felt like a piece of a piece of meat. She looked at him and said he wasn't never going to enter her again. 00:39:59 Speaker 2: And I love that. I said what I'm all sick of, and it's not overplayed like trigger my journey in my life, my truth and all that. 00:40:08 Speaker 4: Well, you know, I love making an entrance. Look look, look, look, look when I walk in the room, I own it. 00:40:20 Speaker 1: I don't keep it. 00:40:22 Speaker 4: I am okay listen, but yeah, so I don't know. 00:40:28 Speaker 3: Almost like Monique was telling Gazelle like you were right, it was like Gazelle won the whole She won their history, the war of their history. Gazel won in that moment when Monique threw her that bone and was mentioned that conversation they had had. You know what I'm saying, that was Monique kind of throwing Jaesella bone and setting the playing field level like you know what, I'll give you this moment. 00:40:49 Speaker 2: We cool. 00:40:50 Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying that that was a tactic from Monique. And also I'm gonna tell you this one more thing. This is why, because I have a very I get irritated when people like when Shamari Devout was on Real Housewives of Atlanta and her and Ronnie Devaux were doing that marriage walk. You know what I'm saying, That kind of shit just irritates me. So it's just cornya irritates me. And I hate people that, you know what my marriage man's trying now, marriage man is wow? Marriage Like okay, you got married, you know what I'm saying. And so I hate I generally like tune all that talk out. And Monique used to do a lot of that talk when her and Chris were together. She did it on Real Housewives of Potomac, and she did it on Love and Marriage DC as well, a lot of the me and Chris and our marriage and just putting that to the front. I always feel like people are being fake when they speak like that, And this kind of proved my theory true. 00:41:41 Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. 00:41:42 Speaker 3: You don't have to purport this image of a perfect couple of perfect marriage. People argue, people have problems and people go through shit, and so that whole front and like, oh, our marriage, our unit, I marriage unit, our family. 00:41:56 Speaker 4: I hate that. Quit posturing and just be yourself. 00:41:59 Speaker 2: I think there's people that are like they feel something's wrong, but they don't want to loud, so they just kind of try to will it to be right. You know, like the women that can't make a sentence without saying my husband, my husband. It's like when you're really just living in it and it's just all good and you're not trying to prove that it's good. You just sound my man, you know, my husband, whatever. But like when they do that, and that's something I don't know the Southern thing, but I see that a lot. When I moved on, I was like, damn, everything is like leading with your husband, not leading with it. And not that I'm not dubbing on the South. I'm just saying when I lived down there, I saw that a lot. And I don't know if it's because like maybe the more the religious influence where there's like that's so much where like you're, damn there nothing unless you can get you a husband, and then it forces people to stay in sad, unhappy marriages long than they like to and keep stressing my husband, my husband, my husband, and I think they're trying to will it to be good. 00:43:01 Speaker 1: Yeah we we we did. We did see that and look well, but we also did see another husband's wife was Angel and her husband have the conversation. They were joined by third party, which is Angel's Orange Burken. That dominated. 00:43:23 Speaker 4: I was fine. 00:43:25 Speaker 3: People look at this house with Joe Burke, and that's why I honestly watched The Housewives for ship like that. 00:43:30 Speaker 4: That's what I like to see, you know what I'm saying. So I was actually cool with that, Like it's fun. 00:43:35 Speaker 1: Listen, Angel, Hi watches Angel, Hi, Angel, thanks for watching them the lot and listen. We like to have fun. So I hope that no one takes all this seriously. Okay now, but that being said, I want to talk about that scene. But first thing First, Claudia on your podcast accidentally informed Inform you and the Beautiful Erica Cobb had Angel on as a guest on your podcast. One of the things that people are saying about Angel is they don't feel like they know her. There's people in the comments are saying she's a drag. You know, she's never smiling. They don't feel like they know her. Talk to us about your interview with Angel that you can find on Claualia and Erica's podcast. 00:44:33 Speaker 2: I do get that she is. 00:44:35 Speaker 9: She's sensitive, and that she says that her life is like so different than what you see on the show, and that she did not want to go there and dumple on other black women. 00:44:46 Speaker 2: She doesn't want to like read them. And I'm like, we've seen traces and like sponts of you where you give us hopeless you can like hang with the crowd. And I did say Potoma does seem harder than a lot of the other shows, like you Gotta they make you work every scene, there's no break, so I get the hesitation. But she was like saying the reason why she wasn't always popping back popping up back right away, Well, she didn't come on there for that. And I'm like, have you watched the show before you did it? And she kind of downplayed how much she watched the show. 00:45:16 Speaker 1: Wait did she Okay? Because I care more about this, did Angel admit that she watched Potomac before she got on the show. 00:45:24 Speaker 9: Yeah, but not as much as we think she did, Like, like she said, she didn't want she only watched it a. 00:45:28 Speaker 2: Little bit when Kay was on it. And I'm like, hmm, so, you know, I asked her about that about you know, I wondered if she was a little hesitant because you know, when you watch the show and you look at the show like, oh my god, that's windy and that's Gizelle and then you're amongst them, like you end up when you work with someone that you've like grew up watching, like Carls. I'm sure the first time you were working over you're like, oh my god, that's open Whinfan, I. 00:45:54 Speaker 1: Was like that a brand. Yet so the rain drops over the weekend, so. 00:45:57 Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not going to be ready to like clap back. But she kind of downplayed, like she said she didn't really watch the show that much before she did it, and that she just only kind of watched it a little before she get on and then and that wasn't the case. That really her hesitation was because she wanted to you know, be supportive her of the Black Woman. She also said that she was not going through postpart of depression and that she was just her emotions were more heightened after the baby. She did say that because you know, I think we were all trying to throw our bone with that, thinking well, maybe it was that was it. She said, no, that wasn't the case, and she said people in her life didn't know that her life is way different than what's being on the show. I'm like, we'll show it, you know, show us. We want to root for you. 00:46:39 Speaker 1: I want to say this and we're going to move on from it. And this is speaking as a producer. Listen, we got to stop acting like the camera is showing something that isn't real. Okay, now, one thing I'll get And we talked about this on with Kimmy on Love and mash Haunt's Field. Me said, well, y'all just show everything, and then she follow up beautifully by saying, ten, guys, when y'all see all casting, Claudia, if I'm lying with when reality starts filming all cast scene, y'all did for hours? Can you said we were there for four hours? Y'all saw twenty minutes of a four hour capture the moment, which is true. Nobody's showing you four hours. If you want to watch four hours of a scene, go to PBS like like like like it is what it is side because I get so listen the reason why I said this before and I'll say it again until until the what's the burgess stand until the chickens come home to the root. I'm sick and tired of people who drawing reality television acting asking if this is a brand new drava that I don't know what I'm getting myself into. What do you mean that y'all have showed everything. We show what you give there. There's not artificial intelligence. No one's voice is dubbed. Okay, do we show everything? 00:48:04 Speaker 2: No? 00:48:05 Speaker 1: But guess what at any person's job, but your boss don't see you do everything. Your boss only cares about the final product. He doesn't care that you were up until two am working on the presentation. Is the presentation here? Thank you? This is what I'm basing off of. Your boss has no emotional connection to the result of your work. So when it comes to this, I feel like I was a show. And by the way, this is not about Angel. Before y'all make this about Angel. This is not about her solely. What it is about is Look, I will stand on ten when I say I think Angel has a lot of potential. I think Angel would be great. I see why they cast her. I want to see more of Angel. I think Angel has something. But what we have to realize and be honest about it. Say, look, I thought I knew what I was getting myself into, and Gods, I gotta tell you it is crazy than I thought. I have worked on reality for since two thousand and eight, what y'all don't know because we don't talk about it is there's been four women on Atlanta Housewife, the blow that y'all have never seen because they got to film. Y'all never seen them. They got to film, and then they quit the week after and said, baby, I'm good because again they and I appreciate that. Let me start my saying, I appreciate that. I appreciate it because it looks easier when you're watching it. It looks easy for me to get on. It looks easy that I can do the crazy and love choreography when I until I stepped into my living room and my bones cracked. I realized, like, well, damn you doing all that for three hours? A mee. I say, I feel I could do a little life, but I I can do this, but I can't do this, and it did. So my my thing with Angel that I really want for her, I don't want to say, look, this is not I would love for any reality start to say, baby, put y'all something. This shit ain't easy. 00:50:18 Speaker 2: I was very easy. I'm earning an interview and I wanted her to not prompted her, but I was like setting it up for her to say that you know. I was like, it's a tough show this did. Do you think you got an over your head? And she didn't want to say yes to any of that. She wanted to kind of show no, I'm good, I'm strong, And basically she was saying that she's not going to be chased off. So I said, do you regret doing it? Do you want to go back? She goes, I cannot be chased off. I don't want to be And I'm like, but it doesn't look like you're having fun for the viewer. It doesn't look like it. I'm like, how you are now? And then we do your confessionals. I'm like, yes, like we want more of that. And I said, and as far as supporting the black women, I get it because I think we all start off with I don't want to go on the show and drive on the black women. And I said that is fine. As far as the collective right of black women, I go, but if someone's coming for you, you're not. That's not an indictment on black women. That is an indictment of that person right there. And you read that person down. It's not like that's okay. You still have your black women card. So I don't know. I told she should do more interviews and just get more comfortable with it and just get out there and get out of her get out of her head. I'm like, be in your own head. 00:51:26 Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you gave her. I watched an interview and I think you gave her great advice. And I want to hear from you, Dustin. What I will say is, baby, I want to see Cookie be a housewife, because baby Cookie comes there like this, baby, m m, what are you doing? 00:51:42 Speaker 4: Mm hmm. 00:51:43 Speaker 1: Her puts up, mm hmmm. 00:51:47 Speaker 4: I like Kurt, I want to be I want to be by our friends with Cookie. 00:51:50 Speaker 3: I want to hear her burp and belchifter she drink a beer, you know what I'm saying, in a tall glass and shit, and I want to hear her slamming her hand and her rings and braces making noise on that and they hit the bar. I want to be bar friends with Cookie. That shit, you know what I'm saying. That's what kind of relationship I want to have with her. But go ahead, Cookie is ready, and Cookie is messy, and Cookie knows exactly what she's doing. Cookie been running and playing telephone with all these ladies. Cookie has attached herself to all these ladies and all of this mess. She's been around for a minute, and she might as well just be a guest, you know what I'm saying on the show, she might as well. 00:52:27 Speaker 1: And I. 00:52:30 Speaker 4: I'm not gonna say that. 00:52:31 Speaker 3: I just was was surprised by what she said to Stacey when they were arguing at the end. 00:52:36 Speaker 4: She was like, you need to take a bath with your funky ass. 00:52:39 Speaker 3: I know, I'm like, damn, So now y'all gonna say Stacy physically stinks, like come on now, Cookie, And between you and Stacey, which one of them you thinks amell like perfume? 00:52:51 Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. I like, I'm just saying so like, I don't, I don't, I don't know. Everybody was kind of on Stacy in this episode, and she handled it like a g or whatever. 00:53:00 Speaker 3: And she does do things to make herself a target, like tell stupid, ridiculous lies that are very easy to spot and debunk, you know what I'm saying. But they just be on Stacy ass a lot. And I love the fact Stacy is from Detroit, you know what I'm saying. So I love the fact that Stacy is not allowing them to just steamroll her like that. 00:53:21 Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. 00:53:22 Speaker 3: And it doesn't always mean you have to call it another person a bitch or a whole. Sometimes it can be as simple as pointing your finger at a motherfucker, just like Stacy did. 00:53:33 Speaker 1: We can't always apply race when it comes to defending yourself. No, Like it's not, hey, well, I don't want to do this. If Claudia defends herself right, doesn't defense himself if somebody comes at you. It's not about oh we yes, nobody should get physical. I'm I saying that, But if someone is coming for you, all you do is defend yourself right in any situation, you. 00:54:00 Speaker 4: Know what I mean? 00:54:01 Speaker 1: Like for example, you know Niani Leek's named Claudia Jordan a part of her All Star list. 00:54:06 Speaker 2: You know she also says she wanted to punch me in the face and knock my teeth out. 00:54:14 Speaker 1: That she was joking. 00:54:17 Speaker 2: She I didn't hear last. 00:54:22 Speaker 1: Me like the comic Claudia clad were you but not not the sidetrack? But I want to he from Doustin too. 00:54:28 Speaker 7: Pladia, you were named out of Nini Leek's. 00:54:33 Speaker 1: All Star cast that she would love to do a show with. 00:54:37 Speaker 2: Yeah, she's not dope. She's smart, lad. She knows about the proper cast, just like when I was on the show and after I write her down, she who's what you do? 00:54:45 Speaker 11: Called Bravo or truly said she needs to be on the show. She needs to be How fun I received that. I thought that was dope, that was what it was cute. I was like, Meanie, stop with the punching in the face. You don't I actually think Nani likes me and wants to be my friend. 00:54:58 Speaker 2: I do, and honest, humh. 00:55:04 Speaker 4: It ain't me. 00:55:05 Speaker 2: I started the bet words, but I said, hey, Needy, and she said, God, just like how she takes all her mannerisms from your college whatever. 00:55:20 Speaker 1: That's not Claudia. 00:55:21 Speaker 4: That's right, Claudia, not Claudia. 00:55:23 Speaker 1: You don't good away all Claudia, Sir, your your clips go micro Claudia. 00:55:29 Speaker 2: Listen me, Nani look at this to give you the origin real quick story, me Nanie, Me and Nani were cool long a time ago. When I was fresh off of hosting the Miss Universe Pagan NBC four hundred million d was worldwide. I got a tweet from Mini Leaks. I did not want to my house. I was back then. I was fucking popping. I was like, dial o, deal, so celebrity apprentice, hosting, this universe, all these things. And I get this tweet from Anini leaks Real Housewive follow me back. I got to ask this and at first she gave me promps about something no one can do it like you and the faces I have dug up the tweets they're out there right, and she was like, can you follow me? So she asked me to follow her back? And then we've talking DM on Twitter. This is two thousand and nine. Okay, ask me if I could take her place on a hosting gig in Atlanta because she could no longer do it. And I said, oh my god, why would you just throw me that bone, like you're not gonna be able to do it. She's like, whatever her reason. I say yes, I go to Atlanta. I meet her at the w Hotel by the pool, me and my best friend. Also we take a picture. I cannot find it. It's probably in my MySpace. I can't get in my space. 00:56:38 Speaker 1: And we was cool. 00:56:39 Speaker 2: We were cool now. When I hosted that day, it was for a former football player that Marla's messed with and it was allegations that neededed too. I never knew anything about that because I didn't care, and I also wasn't watching House Lives, so when imagine myself, that's all I knew. I never spoke about it. She was at the job, she was just in the corner, like didn't want to a camera. She was pleasant and a joy. So when I go the next time I see her, I see have BT words. We take pictures, and then I see it when I get out the hospital and she's called me thirsty and call me names by on my back. So that is the origin of me and Nannie. Just so y'all know, I can't you keep her day much of more? You was thirsty, you can. I came in love and peace, like yo. 00:57:19 Speaker 3: We was cool. 00:57:19 Speaker 2: She gave me a gig. I was like cool. So I think she thought I was gonna go and run my mouth about that night, and I never did until just now. So anyways, my point is we started in a cool place, and y'all gonna stand in a cool place. It went somewhere else for whatever reason, and we've spoken after that. We took pitches and we were like we're gonna fuck up the internet real quick. I have no animosity towards that woman. I think she should be back on television. I think she's very funny. I love she's as needy as her personality. Her one line as her means listen that it's not debatable. I will not debate that she's awesome. She should be on TV. And I also also put up him for I think people would live for me and her in a scene or show together to whatever. Either it's squashing it or be like, yeah, but Jesse, I'll see you too. We see each at that and we could be. 00:58:13 Speaker 1: Done with it. 00:58:13 Speaker 2: We both have good sense of humor, so I thought that was cute. Minnie. I accept, And you could try to punch me any time you. 00:58:20 Speaker 7: Want activities because I want we own we both don't get hurt. 00:58:29 Speaker 1: But Destin, what do you think about the girls confronting Stacy, Because look the thing is this, Stacey invited Tea over her house. I mean they were all hanging out. What's the guy's name again? 00:58:44 Speaker 4: Does it not? 00:58:44 Speaker 1: Because that's in Timu. 00:58:49 Speaker 4: Tiama. He is TEAMO. 00:58:50 Speaker 3: He looked like Marie's white boyfriend, the man that Marie was dating on Bell collected, Yeah, that's who Timo. 00:58:57 Speaker 1: Look like he's also German. 00:58:59 Speaker 4: Oh yeah, there you go. 00:59:02 Speaker 1: So Stacey said that. Look, a couple of things happened. Kate Kearna told Gazelle and the girls that she was on the phone with Cookie and that Chris Samuels allegedly called her brother on the phone, and that Chris Samuels was told that Monique was saying things about their sex life and saying things that wasn't flattering. Cake said that she thought that obviously it was Stacey who told Chris, because who else in that room will go back and told Chris what Monique said. Kay confronts her. Cookie tried to confront her and even tea confront of her because Stacy said that, look, she told Wendy that, look, my husband can't come because she has other things to do. They flashed back to the truth where she said exactly what Tia did say. Is it right though, that these girls are trying to hold Stacy accountable for a things she does say that she is not remembering. 01:00:22 Speaker 4: That she lied about. 01:00:23 Speaker 3: Yes, they should hold our accountability. They should hold our accountable for the ship she lied about. You hear them sirens in my background? That's them coming to get her lion ass now for all them lives. But yeah, of course we know see lions. She knows Sea Lion, and they know she's lyon and it's making for a great season ten. 01:00:43 Speaker 4: That's all I'll say. This has been interesting to watch. 01:00:46 Speaker 3: That doesn't mean that the way that you're interesting on the reality show is by coming up with interesting lies to tell. No, it just means that Stacy has been entertaining us lyon, coming in and out of the truth. It's just been very entertaining to she. She is entertaining the fuck out of me as I watched season ten. 01:01:05 Speaker 4: So that's just where I'm at with it. It's been a great season. 01:01:08 Speaker 3: Stacy's antics have made this much more interesting and I actually am really enjoying her. 01:01:13 Speaker 4: I really like Stacy. 01:01:14 Speaker 3: I thought that all the press interviews she did during Bravo Khan were funny. They even had a Bravo posted her describing the room at Bravo kan the way she was describing those items. 01:01:24 Speaker 4: She was selling on QBC, and it was hilarious. 01:01:27 Speaker 3: Stacy's got something special, man, and she made an impact, a big dent into the Real Housewives of Potomac at a great time, and I think she's gonna stay. 01:01:36 Speaker 4: There for a long time. She's good on the show, Claudia. 01:01:42 Speaker 2: I just I think it's supposed to call it the lines she's it's like Stacey throws it out there for the show, like kind of like Ken you with the put little nuggets out there, because she's good at reality TV like that. People are the ones that get mad and take it so seriously. Oh no, I can't believe she did that. Do you want to show Do you not want to show words of the old boy in Gladiator? Are you not entertained? And if you do, you damn to go. You got to be able to recognize it. She's making good TV, I think, and I love Kay, but I think what she messes up is taking it so seriously and visibly angry. It makes it look like, oh man, she's getting to you. Remember I always say, whoever is controlled the emotions is winning the scene. And no matter how they get Stacy up against the ropes, she is taught busting in some Mady lives. She always keeps her calm so she don't lose the argument even when she's dead ass wrong. We are here defending a liar on the show. We're like, oh, but we like it. It's entertaining, it's cute because she's not getting emotional. We get mad as a person that doesn't. That seems like a soul loser, the one who gets extra emo, the one who's like fussing. No, the way to handle those kind of people is return energy. Oh you know another lie? 01:03:01 Speaker 5: Oh here we go. 01:03:02 Speaker 2: You know it's it's eight o'clock. Oh some Stacey's some one line, you know what I mean? Like, and when people get mad, they lose the argument. Kenya had so much fun on Housewives when she were like fucking folks the butt pads and she was pretending to be phased run they Oh, I can't believe she would do something like this an event. 01:03:21 Speaker 4: You're on a. 01:03:22 Speaker 2: TV show that requires entertainment. She's giving you all a show. It kind of reminded me of that a little bit. 01:03:29 Speaker 1: I never thought of it that way. That's so fascinating. So you think, and Dustin and let me know what you think. So you think Stacey's in on the joke, like. 01:03:36 Speaker 12: Stacy, Yes, I never looked at it that way till now, Like because Stacy could Let's be clear, Stacy definitely watched Potomac before. 01:03:47 Speaker 1: And my problem, I only have one problem in Stacey is my opinion. Leave me alone. And I love Stacey, Stacy get all the ten. But if I have to give one critique of Stacy, one critique, I really want her to just own it. More like you are badity, you everything. 01:04:10 Speaker 4: Oh it. 01:04:11 Speaker 1: But and that's the reason why I loved her. In the end, when they said get your figurebout face, she said, excuse me, She pushed the way, said like, that's the Stacy that I love. And I do think this. I think the one thing that Stacey allegedly did that is hard for some to all for some is the TJ aspect of her storyline season. I think that rubbed people the wrong way. But you can't deny that Stacy is that girl. Stacy is a joy to watch. 01:04:44 Speaker 7: I didn't realize till today until you two told me that Stacey's in on the joke and the producer. 01:04:50 Speaker 2: I'm not mad. 01:04:51 Speaker 1: Look, I prepare for when I did Love and Mats DC, and I said this publicly when I met the Tylers and and and you know, the Silvas, and I just remember thinking like they're fascinating to look at. I can wait to see more. And I remember telling you guys, like watching for this asking Silver Baby, like that one was born to be a reality star. And then you saw, like you you saw her and Raina just be two women that I felt new the assignment. And there's nothing wrong with knowing the assignment. There's nothing wrong with that, and you still remain real. 01:05:34 Speaker 9: Right. 01:05:36 Speaker 1: So that's the only thing I'm wanting for Stacy Moore. I want to see like some real moments with Stacy. I can settle and love her more because Stacy has a lot going on. She has a lot going on acting. 01:05:51 Speaker 2: It can't all be like and then here and there, but then confessionals and be like I got these girls so. 01:06:01 Speaker 3: Pressed, right, you gotta balance that ship out. You have to balance it out with something that connects us, you. 01:06:07 Speaker 2: Know, like, because then we're gonna say you think we stupid, because it's clear her teeth that we're not real. It's clear that Timu is not into this at all. I don't even feel like they're together. I feel like she's just there to do some scenes and her like, oh I gotta I gotta show up today. It only I see zero chemistry with them. It seems like, hey, ex hubby for this season, I want to look like we'regant mESC And he's like, lady, I'm dadding someone else. You're gonna mess up my real dating. And she's like, honey, just please, it'll be great for us, Like it was just just play along with that. He's like fine, because he is giving zero spark, like you don't really damn, And I want her to go and tell us it looks confessionals like, don't say to the ladies because they'll have ammunition on you. Just be like, I'm playing these girls like like a fiddle. 01:06:56 Speaker 1: But one more thing to. 01:07:01 Speaker 7: The Chris Samuels of it all, like the idea. 01:07:07 Speaker 1: You said, what's real? 01:07:09 Speaker 2: And she don't want to. 01:07:10 Speaker 1: But the thing is, then I think it's real that they met. But the one thing that I'm questioning is did you meet him? Because you knew bringing Chris Samuels on the show will be a good storyline too, you know what I mean? And I think, Dustin, do you agree with that? 01:07:24 Speaker 4: Absolutely? 01:07:24 Speaker 3: I agree with that, and the fact that this is where the line becomes problematic because now we question every fucking thing you do and say, so we don't know if you're really in this shit with Timo or not. 01:07:34 Speaker 4: We don't know if you was really trying to, you know, kick it with Chris Samuels or not. 01:07:39 Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, Like, this is where the line becomes problematic even more because now we can't take nothing to say seriously or true, you know. So further to Claudia's point, in your point, Carlos, she has to bring the real moments, you know what I'm saying now moving forward to balance out all that, because it is going to run its course as far as the entertainment value if we don't get some real elements of her life. 01:08:02 Speaker 2: So I'm thinking she knew Chris Samuels would raised eyebrows, right, And I think she from how she was acting, I think she kind of really liked them, whether they messed around or not. I think she probably does like him in real life. That's why, like with everything else, the way she answers things, it's like, but with that, she seems to squirm a little bit. She seems to be a little uncomfortable with the Chris Samuels. So I think she it was killing your brother once some Yeah, it'd be grateful to show and I do kind of like them. Now did they really have a real thing on? Who knows? 01:08:33 Speaker 4: But I think she likes him, I agree, And I also think that she's keeping him in her pocket. 01:08:38 Speaker 2: Yep. 01:08:39 Speaker 4: I think that she's in a transition right now. 01:08:41 Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, ain't locked in her team O, her and TIMO ain't locked in, you know what I'm saying. 01:08:47 Speaker 4: And I think that, like that's what people do when you're dating and stuff. 01:08:51 Speaker 3: You know, you meet people that you have a connection with, y'all maintain some sort of contact over the years. 01:08:56 Speaker 4: You may not be kicking it or you know, talking like that, but you know, you stay in. 01:09:00 Speaker 3: Touch and it's always a person that there's an interest there, you know what I'm saying. That can look like loyalty in different ways or whatever. You know, you always wanted too in your back pocket? Who you know, like you you got that energy with they're over there, you're over here. But if ever y'all wanted to really strike that match, you could. I think it's one of those situations and I think she's trying to protect their relationship. I think that she wants to keep him in her life in a at a distance but still there and still maintain the connection, which would make sense if she ran back the whole conversation from the table that day. 01:09:34 Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, that's really like. 01:09:37 Speaker 2: That's someone I really likes. Someone, Yeah, cover for them protected running back and tell the that's not someone that you paint me on the show. We're having a fake relationship with exactly. She seems to care more about him than the team will dud exactly. 01:09:51 Speaker 4: He seems more run than the team move dude. 01:09:54 Speaker 1: Yeah, so so Safety, We're loving you. You know, listen, we love to grade and critigues to our shining stars. You are shining one, My love, We love, love, love you again. I would love to just I hope this season would get to see like a real vulnerable moment from her where we get to like really see more of what she has to offer. But Stacey killed this episode. 01:10:19 Speaker 4: Yes, she. 01:10:21 Speaker 1: She was a joy to watch and we'll see what happens next week. 01:10:26 Speaker 2: So she's okay, you don't have a husband. You don't have I said, oh that was a quick and real time read back, and I was like I'm like hey, I was like, oh. 01:10:36 Speaker 1: No, she hadn't, But you can you can tell she was fed up. You can tell she was real. 01:10:40 Speaker 4: Yeah, she holds back a lot. 01:10:43 Speaker 3: You could tell she's in a lot of situations where she probably wants to react a lot more explosively, and she doesn't. She maintains her poise because she took that Claudia Jordan note, the person as in control of their emotions wins the argument, you know, And that's how she's killing them. 01:10:59 Speaker 2: So foaming at the mouth, all acting erradic and kenon, look at you and all that. 01:11:08 Speaker 3: You see, Cookie ass got to move. And when Stacey was like, no, excuse me, and she came around outside, Cookie got in the you know, Cookie had on some ten shoes with a steel toe in her she got ship. She got to moving and them steel toe, no slips, and she had all you know what I'm saying, She got to move and got. 01:11:30 Speaker 4: All Stacey had to say was so shout out to Stacy. 01:11:39 Speaker 2: Did y'all hate that? I'm sorry, I know you over. I hated that Robin wasn't there at the celebration of ten million down homes. 01:11:49 Speaker 4: I didn't. 01:11:52 Speaker 2: Happened live together. So we went out to eat out the woods and I know people, I guess y'all don't know. 01:11:58 Speaker 3: No, I'm just saying I don't think there's nothing wrong with Robin as a person. I'm just saying I didn't miss her in that scene at all. 01:12:04 Speaker 2: But it's her celebration of ten million downloads be there. 01:12:09 Speaker 1: But this is when But I say, Okay, that's is hilarious. I will say this. I will say this. It's very it's very tough. It's very tough to get fired from the show. And Robin said it herself. One of the only few housewives who got fired that admitted they got fired. Shot up to Robin Dixon. I listen, I love the fact that Gazilla. 01:12:33 Speaker 7: Was like, look, she doesn't like how the show, how it left with her. 01:12:39 Speaker 1: Like that's that's real. 01:12:40 Speaker 3: Like that's a prime example of what you're saying you need from Stacey, right Gasel in that moment, just keeping it the fuck real, Like I'm just gonna be real with y'all. She wouldn't she had some issues with the way she exited the show. You know what I'm saying, that's real, that's real. And Robin, Actually, I don't even know why they would ask her to fit that. Robin used to be a paid cast member on that show. Of course, she don't want to give them. You know what I'm saying, they're scene or whatever like that. She wants to be hired, you know what I'm saying, and working in official capacity, I'm assuming with them, so it would make I don't even understand why they would have had an expectation for her. 01:13:16 Speaker 2: To be there and what these shows will do. And I know from experiences they'll tell you, can you come and do a scene, and then you'll show up and they won't even mike you, and then you'd be like, I can't believe I used to be a paid I used to be holding a thing anything, and now and be at someone else's event and everyone's gonna ask me, what happened? Are you coming back? Does this mean you're back? And you got to answer? Side get why she wasn't there? 01:13:39 Speaker 1: I remember you said on my podcast, how when they you came back season eight? For something? Early early early in film, I had an. 01:13:47 Speaker 2: Opening of something and I brought a guy date with me. Remember we won't see you. I can't get it when I get him. 01:13:58 Speaker 1: He's gorgeous, But I remember what I love about you, Like Dustin send me were from Stacey to like just be real, like Jaselle was what the call of you did say? You said, it is hard to enter that space as a non housewife, no one used to be one, and you're watching your former castmates film and it's sort of like, so does the imagine being the cool boy in high school and then you go back after two years and it's sort of like that used to be me. So I understand why Robin said no. And I'll end by saying this and range jobs. 01:14:39 Speaker 4: Let me know. 01:14:39 Speaker 1: I y'all disagreed, Claudia, Dustin, y'all too. I would not mind seeing Robin back as a friend in some capacity. I'm not saying a friend for all the episodes, but she is really friends with with Giselle, So I wouldn't mind where it makes sense to see Robin back. 01:14:57 Speaker 4: Do you think they really friends like that? For real? For real? 01:15:00 Speaker 10: Oh? 01:15:00 Speaker 1: I can tell you one hundred percent, baby. I saw just a Robin a few weeks ago the Black Effect five year anniversary. We met and I told the rain drops, you know, me and Robbin had a conversation because. 01:15:15 Speaker 4: You know, is she coming on your show? 01:15:18 Speaker 2: No? 01:15:18 Speaker 1: No, no, no no no no no no no no no but everybody watches No, I would love to have robbing on. But we had a conversation, y'all because I had to address some things that I set my podcast. 01:15:31 Speaker 2: And I'm like, okay, Bine, but you mean messy. 01:15:35 Speaker 1: I'm never messy. That's you are destined. I mean that we're in this together, guys. 01:15:44 Speaker 2: Okay, it's just in our own different way. 01:15:48 Speaker 1: So pete this so you know me just gonna cool. Gazelle is so funny. Okay, Gazelle is who she is in real life. 01:15:59 Speaker 7: So it's deal. 01:16:00 Speaker 1: And Robin, mind you, I met Robin already, like a couple of years ago. 01:16:05 Speaker 4: What thell? 01:16:06 Speaker 1: I said, Hey, she said, Hey, you know Robin Dixon, don't you. 01:16:12 Speaker 2: Yeah him? 01:16:16 Speaker 1: So here I go, Hi, Robin, I can. 01:16:19 Speaker 7: Rob a hug. 01:16:22 Speaker 1: I ain't gonna hug back. We had a conversation. I love this Dell. Just Dell is who she is in real life. Just Delle said, let me s get the scene, can talk, and me and Robin had a beautiful conversation. 01:16:36 Speaker 3: So this is why I asked you that question about it if you thought they were real friends in real life, right, because we know you've often said listen, I talked like will you sounding and guarsella as an example. Right, you always said they're not real friends, they don't really hang out in real life. And the minute that oursels left to show they their friendship publicly kind of imploded. 01:16:54 Speaker 4: Right. 01:16:55 Speaker 3: Robin and Giselle, like you said, you saw them together at the Black Effect shout out to the Black Effect first Black Effect Network. But you saw them at the Black Effect Network party. That's a work event because they had that podcast together. They see each other because they record the podcast together. But we don't never really see them like out kicking it. We don't never really see nothing. You know what I'm saying. 01:17:15 Speaker 1: I will say this. I will say this in real so the difference between them and son of Garsell they were friends before the show. So Robin and Gazelle met when Giselle was married to Jamal Bryant and Robin I believe she was dating one or just Merriton one or the other, and Gizelle saw Robin, it was like and they instantly clicked in real life. In real life, Gazelle and Robin o homebodies. They don't go anywhere unless Jazell goes out to Bravo KHN or if she has to promote the show. So they do hang out in real life, and I know that because I know a lot of people are so in real life, they do hang out, but the thing doesn't okay there, Gizelle is at home with her kids when they live there. Robin don't like. 01:18:06 Speaker 4: Going nowhere, not even the living room. So get up. I thought Robert was. She was funny on the show, and Robin used to make me laugh. So this ain't no Robin. Hey training, we're just cracking jokes. That's see. 01:18:23 Speaker 2: I I'm coming as someone that's just really watching the show now for real, for real. So I don't know about I'm seeing some negative comments about her. I'm gonna buy rob Yeah, about a few hours that I hung with her. We didn't watching What Happens Life? When I did dealing with it? 01:18:38 Speaker 4: Oh cute, what's happening? 01:18:43 Speaker 2: That's such a cute little donkey. What's the dog's name? 01:18:48 Speaker 4: Brody? 01:18:48 Speaker 1: Brody said, Hi, what's uplished? 01:18:52 Speaker 4: Yeah? 01:18:52 Speaker 2: Look at him and like at our contact with us, he's like beneath me. 01:18:56 Speaker 1: He's Robin. He's shy. He doesn't like not Robin. 01:19:01 Speaker 2: Oh my god, Robin. And those few hours we did the show and then we were like we got along and we we went to catch Autter. It was like, let's go out and we talked a little bit and she was just, you know, kind of messing about things stuff. She was very pleasant to me. I don't know the back story. I don't know her from the show. You know, when you know, meet people outside the show. Yeah, as opposed to what their storyline and what they were going up against. I don't know that part of her. She was very pleasant to me. 01:19:28 Speaker 3: So and watch What Happens Live when she you know the episode when when she's when her yeah with Ebony, when Andy was asking her about putting her marriage and her the information about wine and all that ship that she put behind Patreon. I was the bartender on that watch What Happens Live episode, and she was real pleasant, you know what I'm saying, Real pleasant, real cool. So they said that dog is a bougie mm hmm, as he should. 01:19:58 Speaker 2: Want to make contact with the p sense and my peasants. I feel like a dog looks at meat and Dustin. Look, he's like, hi, oh my god, he is not fucking with us. 01:20:10 Speaker 4: I love it. 01:20:12 Speaker 1: He's he's fine. Look, So I want to give thanks to Claudia and Dustin as we are celebrating the week of Thanksgiving. I love the two of you. I'm so friendship. I'm thankful for you. Know you guys tenacity. You can't even make the sign. 01:20:35 Speaker 2: It's been a long time. 01:20:37 Speaker 4: It looked like Ohio. It looks like OHIOO. 01:20:46 Speaker 1: So I'm thankful for the two of you as we celebrate Thanksgiving this Thursday. Okay, thank you for. 01:20:55 Speaker 4: Both of y'all. Are we getting loving marriage New York City? 01:21:52 Speaker 2: Peace out there? Members on there like my dating life. 01:22:00 Speaker 4: Yeah. And then I was talking about it together at the tables. We would tear that show up, Carlos, look at it. 01:22:08 Speaker 1: I love y'all. Happy Days rain drops, look at audio. 01:22:12 Speaker 4: Happy Thanksgiving rain drops. 01:22:14 Speaker 1: We love y'all. 01:22:15 Speaker 4: See y'all on our new talk show. We're about to get. 01:22:19 Speaker 1: Yeah. 01:22:20 Speaker 7: Thanks. 01:22:21 Speaker 1: Remember always find five things to be thankful. Grateful for tonight. 01:22:25 Speaker 4: I hope the turkey gets stuffed. 01:22:28 Speaker 2: May yourself be firm and tasty. 01:22:31 Speaker 4: I hope you're based. You know what I'm saying. 01:22:36 Speaker 1: We'll talk about that later
