<v Speaker 1>Listen WWE superstar Drew mcintarr, and you're listening to the <v Speaker 1>WWE podcast show, the one that everybody wants me. <v Speaker 2>So work. <v Speaker 1>Your ass is my we can acknowledge me. <v Speaker 2>Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. Hello, whatever time it <v Speaker 2>is with you and wherever you are. Thank you for <v Speaker 2>downloading this SmackDown review as part of the WWE podcast. <v Speaker 2>As always, it's an absolute pleasure to have you listening along. <v Speaker 2>I'm Amanda, you're host of this SmackDown review. Before we <v Speaker 2>get started with the SmackDown review this week, I really <v Speaker 2>want to talk just quickly about the releases from last week, <v Speaker 2>specifically those affecting the main roster. So I guess let's <v Speaker 2>start with Braun Stroman. So he's been released before, but <v Speaker 2>this run felt different. It felt quite good. It felt <v Speaker 2>like he had the crowd behind him and the storyline <v Speaker 2>wise that he was involved in. He was there with <v Speaker 2>the mid card Belt picture, so this one is a <v Speaker 2>bit of a mystery to me. Next, we had Dakota Kai. <v Speaker 2>This one made me go no way. She's such a <v Speaker 2>great talent and she was doing good stuff again. Had <v Speaker 2>recently been involved in the mid card Belt picture and <v Speaker 2>is over with the fans very much. To be honest, <v Speaker 2>I found myself wondering why the likes of Dakota are <v Speaker 2>being released, but WWE will keep someone like, for instance, Natalia, <v Speaker 2>who hasn't had a compelling storyline in about ten years. Nepotism, <v Speaker 2>I guess, but really unfair. I hope Cota goes on <v Speaker 2>to have a great career somewhere, maybe Tony Storm style <v Speaker 2>with aw Shane A Basler I guess hadn't done anything recently, <v Speaker 2>but her run as a cold blooded killer a few <v Speaker 2>years back, where she was breaking arms for fun and <v Speaker 2>feuding with Becky was brilliant. I think she's been let <v Speaker 2>down by WWE, and I fear for Zoe Stark in <v Speaker 2>the next round of cuts. Finally, on the main roster, <v Speaker 2>we had Caden and Katana. Now they were a great <v Speaker 2>tag team with a lame gimmick. I think they could <v Speaker 2>have done a bit more with them. Massive potential and <v Speaker 2>again will be a huge asset to some other promotions. <v Speaker 2>Tag division. I have to give WWE the Golden Raspberry <v Speaker 2>and the double soalms down for all these releases. I <v Speaker 2>think it's I think it's a really bad round of releases, <v Speaker 2>and I hope they don't regret letting these talents go. <v Speaker 2>Just to be clear, I'm not having to go against <v Speaker 2>Natalia personally. Obviously it's not her fault how she's booked, <v Speaker 2>and she clearly wrestles brilliantly. She's part of the Heart Dynasty. <v Speaker 2>But I can't help but think character wise, they could <v Speaker 2>have done more anyway. So that's my thoughts on last <v Speaker 2>week's releases, which I didn't see before we started last <v Speaker 2>week's show, before we moved to the SmackDown review, which <v Speaker 2>is why you are here. I know that. I just <v Speaker 2>want to give you my predictions for backlash really quickly. <v Speaker 2>So the card looks pretty restrained. So it's a typical <v Speaker 2>triple H p L E card, only a few handful <v Speaker 2>of matches. So first of all, we've got Becky versus <v Speaker 2>Lyra for the Women's Intercontinental Championship here. I think Becky <v Speaker 2>wins and hopefully Bailey shows up to start that feud. <v Speaker 2>Jay versus Logan Paul. I think we get a Jay Winn, <v Speaker 2>Gunthera versus Pat McAfee good the winds, hopefully Pat doesn't <v Speaker 2>get killed. We got Fatu, Drew Priest and Knight. I <v Speaker 2>think Fatou retains, and we've got Randy versus Sena. Sena <v Speaker 2>retains the crowd riot because he's on. Randy is in <v Speaker 2>his hometown. Right, Let's get to it and review the <v Speaker 2>SmackDown that aired on the ninth of May from Dayton, Ohio. <v Speaker 2>So a bit of a shake up in production this week, <v Speaker 2>we don't get our normal stream of arrivals. We get <v Speaker 2>right to it. We got Damien making his way to <v Speaker 2>the ring. He's stopped by Byron on the way. Who <v Speaker 2>are who? Asks him how he feels about getting the <v Speaker 2>title shot. He says the thought of getting his hands <v Speaker 2>on Drew and getting a title shot is sweet. His <v Speaker 2>tag partner for tonight, who is La Knight, crashes the <v Speaker 2>interview and asks how they are playing things in the <v Speaker 2>ring as they are in with two of the most <v Speaker 2>dangerous guys in WWE. Priest says he isn't worried. He <v Speaker 2>knows he has knights back, but what he wants to <v Speaker 2>know is does Knight have his? They make a deal <v Speaker 2>to have each other's backs for the match tonight, and <v Speaker 2>we're off Night out to a huge pop as usual <v Speaker 2>as does Priest, and then really quickly we get the arrivals. <v Speaker 2>We only get one to be fair. We get Nia <v Speaker 2>Jack's arriving for her Number one Contender match with Jake Cargill. <v Speaker 2>Later on, we've got Fatu and Solo coming out, and <v Speaker 2>they come out together to Fatou's music, and I thought <v Speaker 2>to myself, this is obviously WWE trying to avoid Fatou <v Speaker 2>getting a bigger pop than the two faces that are <v Speaker 2>in this match, and as we kick off, it's clear <v Speaker 2>that Priest and Knight are not going to be natural partners. Tonight, <v Speaker 2>we've got Solo taking the early upper hand, but Priest <v Speaker 2>managing to fight back, going for the old School early, <v Speaker 2>which he hits nicely, but before he can hit South <v Speaker 2>of Heaven, Solo rolls out of the ring. Night blind <v Speaker 2>sized Fatou, who is chopped in off at ringside, and <v Speaker 2>we've got Solo and Fatoo taking control during the commercial break, <v Speaker 2>which we didn't see on Netflix. Finally, we get Night <v Speaker 2>in legitimately with Fatu, who is looking good, hitting a <v Speaker 2>jumping neckbreaker followed by the elbow. We got them Priest <v Speaker 2>with the blind tag, who sets up South of Heaven, <v Speaker 2>but another blind tag from Night which causes it to <v Speaker 2>completely break down between Night and Priest from Nowhere Night <v Speaker 2>hits a BFT and gets the cover on Solo. We <v Speaker 2>get some afters between Priest and Night, but into the <v Speaker 2>ring comes Fatou, who lays a beat down on them <v Speaker 2>both with numerous running hip attacks in the corners. The <v Speaker 2>crowd are mad into Fatou and chant his name at <v Speaker 2>the end, so this was a hot start to the night. <v Speaker 2>We then get Drew out to deliver a sneaky claymore <v Speaker 2>to Fattuu and I just think, God, I do not <v Speaker 2>want to see Drew win that title. I can't see <v Speaker 2>it happening. I think Fatou retains, but what greats it <v Speaker 2>up for backlash. This was with the rumbling story in <v Speaker 2>the background of Solo being a disappointment and a loser <v Speaker 2>taking another another pin. So I hope we are building <v Speaker 2>on the side for a Fatuo solo match at some <v Speaker 2>point down the line, but I don't think we're particularly <v Speaker 2>close to that yet. We now go backstage where we <v Speaker 2>have our Truth waiting for Sina. He has a sign <v Speaker 2>and he's doing one man chant. Now. I was listening <v Speaker 2>to some other podcasts this week and I heard some <v Speaker 2>opinion on the other podcasts, and people are speculating that <v Speaker 2>Truth might be used as a sidekick for Sina part <v Speaker 2>of this run. I don't think so. I think Truth <v Speaker 2>is too firmly down the comedy alley and he's far <v Speaker 2>too embedded in his comedy role. But maybe they do <v Speaker 2>seem to keep building it, but I think maybe it's <v Speaker 2>more of a parallel angle rather than one that they <v Speaker 2>want to put too much focus on. Let's see though. <v Speaker 2>Truth is approached by Jimmy, who tells him Sina sucks <v Speaker 2>and Truth said he was his childhood hero, which in <v Speaker 2>itself is hilarious because the guy that plays Truth is <v Speaker 2>in his fifties himself, so there's no way that Sena <v Speaker 2>could have been his childhood hero. We then get Joe <v Speaker 2>test confirming that we have seen it on the show tonight, <v Speaker 2>and we get Drew backstage with Byron, who says that <v Speaker 2>basically that was a message that tomorrow night he will <v Speaker 2>put down Fatoo. He starts his usual ritual complaining about <v Speaker 2>the other guys in the Fatal four way tomorrow night <v Speaker 2>see It's, saying basically, they shouldn't be in it and <v Speaker 2>it's all bs. He says that Fatu is the baddest <v Speaker 2>dog in the yard and that's why he wants to <v Speaker 2>fight him. He says the problem with being all gas <v Speaker 2>and no breaks is eventually you hit a brick wall, <v Speaker 2>and that's what Drew is and he will be US <v Speaker 2>champ tomorrow. I don't think so. I really hope not. <v Speaker 2>As I said, I'm not a Drew girl. I don't <v Speaker 2>really want to see him with a title. I think <v Speaker 2>he carries on his bitchy whininess, which is a bit <v Speaker 2>more fun. We then go backstage to where we have <v Speaker 2>Chelsea and the secret Hervis having a memorial service for <v Speaker 2>the US title in the Dark, which is just this <v Speaker 2>angle is just funny, pure comedy, and these three are <v Speaker 2>pulling it off really nicely. Nick comes in and he <v Speaker 2>has Elena with him. Chelsea says they are in mourning. <v Speaker 2>Selena calls out that she is mourning a title she lost, <v Speaker 2>fair and square. Chelsea tells Selena she wouldn't understand as <v Speaker 2>she has no friends. Quite a tenuous link. I don't <v Speaker 2>really get where we went bounding to there, but anyway, <v Speaker 2>she has no friends, and Zelina says, okay, let's have <v Speaker 2>a tag match tonight versus you and Piper, and Zelena <v Speaker 2>will have a mystery friend. So that's fun. I like <v Speaker 2>what they're doing with Chelsea and the Secret Hervis. I <v Speaker 2>think it's it might be one of those things that's <v Speaker 2>actually better when Chelsea hasn't got the title, because you've <v Speaker 2>got that constant chasing, fighting and bitching about various things. <v Speaker 2>So yeah, all for Chelsea and the Secret Hervis. We <v Speaker 2>get an alistair back promo. He says, I guess you're <v Speaker 2>expecting me to talk in riddles, but he says, you <v Speaker 2>buried that part of himself. He came back because he <v Speaker 2>believes he is what this company needs. At the truth. <v Speaker 2>He says that this is so much bigger than good <v Speaker 2>versus Evil. It goes much deeper. He says he's here <v Speaker 2>to confront people and ask for Camelo. He hasn't figured <v Speaker 2>him out yet, or has he? Wow? I love Black. <v Speaker 2>I hope they do a better job with this time around. <v Speaker 2>Early signs look good. Hopefully he smashes mellow later and <v Speaker 2>they keep him strong. Fatu versus Black at some point <v Speaker 2>would be absolutely awesome match. I would be very much <v Speaker 2>here for that. So back to this woman's tag match. <v Speaker 2>We get Zelina and her partner and oh my god, <v Speaker 2>it's Alexa. Of course. I mean that's quite a no brainer. <v Speaker 2>It's Alexa, famously from Ohio, which is where we are tonight, <v Speaker 2>and how awesome to see Alexa comeback and this match <v Speaker 2>just got interesting. Thank god it wasn't Natalia or someone <v Speaker 2>like that. So great. We kick off the match. We've <v Speaker 2>got Piper in with Zelena. Piper off to a strong <v Speaker 2>start slide tag and Chelsea is in to try and <v Speaker 2>take advantage of the damage that Pipe's done early on, <v Speaker 2>but Zelena manages to get both women in line for <v Speaker 2>six point nine and manages to hit a double. She's <v Speaker 2>prevented from making the tag to get Alexa in, which <v Speaker 2>the crowd want to see so badly, and after some <v Speaker 2>back and forth, we finally get the tag made and <v Speaker 2>the roof comes off as Bliss rolls in, smashing Chelsea <v Speaker 2>Green and getting a close cover straight away, got Alexa <v Speaker 2>with Chelsea turned upside down and caught on the top <v Speaker 2>turn buckle and hits a massive kick followed by twisted <v Speaker 2>Bliss which absolutely beautiful and gets the cover. Piper just <v Speaker 2>in at the last minute makes the save and we <v Speaker 2>then get Bliss hitting sister Abigail and gets the pin, <v Speaker 2>winning by pinning Chelsea. Love it. What a great match <v Speaker 2>and so fab to see Alexa back again. Now I know, <v Speaker 2>or I don't know for a fact, but I believe <v Speaker 2>that she signed a decent length contract apparently, and I'm <v Speaker 2>okay with her being us sparing me that I have <v Speaker 2>time off to, you know, spend time with her kid <v Speaker 2>and we might get more length longevity out of her. <v Speaker 2>It's just so great to see her back wrestling and healthy. <v Speaker 2>So long live the Alexa Bliss rain. I am here <v Speaker 2>for that. Next, we have a Phoenix backstage with Santos. <v Speaker 2>He tells him he won last week and he has <v Speaker 2>nothing more to say to him. He gets blindsided by <v Speaker 2>Los Gazos, who beat down Phoenix for embarrassing embarrassing Santos <v Speaker 2>last week. We get Erde checking on Phoenix and is <v Speaker 2>that a new alliance? I wouldn't mind at all? And <v Speaker 2>then from the highes of an Alexa Bliss return to <v Speaker 2>Charlotte making appearance she's her. Joe tells us that she's <v Speaker 2>on her way to the ring to talk and at <v Speaker 2>the sight of her arrival, the crowd of mad boone already, <v Speaker 2>so let's see what she has to say. Imagine if <v Speaker 2>the crowd starts here and for Becky, that would drive <v Speaker 2>her crazy. I think maybe we have her music up <v Speaker 2>absolutely full blast. I can't hear any crowd reaction, neither <v Speaker 2>cheers nor booze. We got Wade really talking her up, <v Speaker 2>and now the music is off and the mic is live, <v Speaker 2>you can hear the booze. She says she is here <v Speaker 2>off the back of the greatest women's matching history. I mean, <v Speaker 2>that's crap for a start. She says she needs to <v Speaker 2>give credit where credits due. She was out for almost <v Speaker 2>two years and she took the champ to her limit. <v Speaker 2>She says she's here to announce her path back to <v Speaker 2>the championship. She calls out the crowd and says she <v Speaker 2>wants to know why the crowd is so disrespectful. She <v Speaker 2>says she is the goat, and she says if they <v Speaker 2>continue to be so disrespect respectful, she will leave and <v Speaker 2>never come back. I don't think the crowd particularly care <v Speaker 2>about that. She throws the mic down and starts to <v Speaker 2>stop off. Two huge booze she has met before she <v Speaker 2>can get the walkway by, Jade, and the crowd seem <v Speaker 2>happy to see her as they face off on the walkway. <v Speaker 2>That's an exciting prospect the second time I think we've <v Speaker 2>seen Jade Charlotte face to face. That's clearly something that's <v Speaker 2>come in and I don't mind that at all. Jade <v Speaker 2>grabs the mic and tells Charlotte to wait. She tells her, <v Speaker 2>you had your chance, now head to the back of <v Speaker 2>the line. I mean that will get Jade over with <v Speaker 2>the crowd even more so. What is the path of Charlotte? <v Speaker 2>It certainly doesn't seem very clear right now. Maybe a <v Speaker 2>move to raw. Is there a draft coming up soon? <v Speaker 2>I lose track of that kind of thing, But don't <v Speaker 2>see a massively clipped path for Charlotte. Right now. We've <v Speaker 2>got Charlotte backstage with Nick, who is telling her this <v Speaker 2>she is not how pros handle business and that she <v Speaker 2>should be a leader. She continues to dropped like a <v Speaker 2>big baby. Goes to get in her car for the airport, <v Speaker 2>but is faced with Alexa. Oh yes, please, that would <v Speaker 2>be cool. Let Alexa sister Abigail Charlotte and let's get <v Speaker 2>that for you go in. That's what I say. Maybe <v Speaker 2>that is the path for Charlotte, and that is cool. <v Speaker 2>Next up, we've got this number one contenders match Jade <v Speaker 2>versus Nya, And as we're about to kick off. Of course, <v Speaker 2>we get Tiffy out to watch. We kick off with <v Speaker 2>these two powerful women, and Naya has the early advantage, <v Speaker 2>taking the mickey out of Jade and her power poses Jade, <v Speaker 2>though not to be Outdan manages to hit back and <v Speaker 2>shows off her pretty impressive power. Naya Tho manages to <v Speaker 2>get the upper hand again, hitting a simone drop Jade <v Speaker 2>with some good moves though, and manages a pretty good <v Speaker 2>looking simone and drop herself on Nya, which was very impressive. <v Speaker 2>Jade putting on a great display here and using her <v Speaker 2>speed and power to give Nya the run around, which <v Speaker 2>I think is probably the only way that you can <v Speaker 2>be here. From nowhere, we have Naomi appear and attack <v Speaker 2>Tiffany at ringside. This distracts Jade for long enough, which <v Speaker 2>gives Nia the inn and allowing her to hit the <v Speaker 2>annihilator on Jade for the win. And I say, h yarboo, <v Speaker 2>not Nia and Tiffany again. I don't want to see that. <v Speaker 2>I want to see Tiffy fight with new people. Jade <v Speaker 2>or Naomi would be awesome, but no, here we are again. <v Speaker 2>Let's just hope there are some story telling shenanigans. That <v Speaker 2>gets us to a more interesting match than that. Again, <v Speaker 2>it's basically another Neppo baby situation with Nyah. Right. It's <v Speaker 2>a shame as Jade is coming on so well. I <v Speaker 2>mean she is literally improving week by week. We're seeing <v Speaker 2>a growth of a real talent here. Not to mention <v Speaker 2>all the other women that are on that roster, and <v Speaker 2>we've got obviously Jade, You've got Naomi who I would <v Speaker 2>love to see have a go at a kitle as <v Speaker 2>a heel, and so so many more. It's just here <v Speaker 2>we are again, Niah and Tiffy. Anyway, now we've got <v Speaker 2>the Profits coming out and they are looking very beat <v Speaker 2>up from their TLC match a couple of weeks ago. <v Speaker 2>They start to cut a promo talking about that match <v Speaker 2>from a couple of weeks ago, saying they've put on <v Speaker 2>the greatest TLC match of all time. Crowd don't seem <v Speaker 2>to be doing to the profits, and they are interrupted <v Speaker 2>by a phraxim. I've never heard Nathan Fraser speak before, <v Speaker 2>but he has got such a posh accent. I love it. <v Speaker 2>They are quite posh in the Channel Islands, he says. <v Speaker 2>When they left NXT, Sean Michaels told them that when <v Speaker 2>they see an opportunity, they have to take it, and <v Speaker 2>that's what they're doing now. Dawkins says that they don't <v Speaker 2>deserve a title shot after three weeks. The crowd seem <v Speaker 2>keen and out comes Nick and he says they are <v Speaker 2>new and they don't have the right to a title <v Speaker 2>shot yet, but he makes the match for right now <v Speaker 2>to give them a chance to see how they go. <v Speaker 2>We've got slow start to the match, but Axiom is <v Speaker 2>in with Ford. He is making a strong start with <v Speaker 2>some brilliant double team moves from Praxium Prophe is both <v Speaker 2>selling the injuries big time from the TLC match for <v Speaker 2>tags In and starts making a five back, getting a <v Speaker 2>close count after a standing Moon Salt blind, Tag and <v Speaker 2>the Profits hit their super Doomsday blockbuster, only for Axiom <v Speaker 2>to break the cover in nick of time and the <v Speaker 2>crowd absolutely loving it. Axiom hits the Spanish flight, followed <v Speaker 2>by the Phoenix splash from Fraser, which is one of <v Speaker 2>their finishing moves I believe, but this time Board breaks <v Speaker 2>the pin just in time. Axiom gets the win after <v Speaker 2>Fraser hits a drop kick from the top rope. Wow, <v Speaker 2>what a result. I hope that does give Praxium a <v Speaker 2>title shot, as I would love to see them with <v Speaker 2>their healthy and fit profits. The tag division on the <v Speaker 2>men's side is looking pretty awesome at the moment. Tiffy <v Speaker 2>now backstage looking for Naomi, but instead Nya finds her, <v Speaker 2>yawn and tells Tiffy she's number one contender. Tiffy says <v Speaker 2>that's okay. Once she beats Nya, she will get her <v Speaker 2>place on the loser table next to Charlotte, which is <v Speaker 2>a brilliant line. Let's say, okay, if we do have <v Speaker 2>to get another Nya Tiffy match, let's hope obviously that <v Speaker 2>Tiffy retains and NYAT is in fact confined to the <v Speaker 2>loser table in the back of the queue with Charlotte, <v Speaker 2>because this is something we do not want to see. Well, <v Speaker 2>I'll look, I'm not going to speak for everyone I <v Speaker 2>don't want to see again. As I said, I'm not <v Speaker 2>going to labor the point anymore, but there are many, <v Speaker 2>many more women on the roster who deserve to be <v Speaker 2>in the title picture. We've now got miss backstage hyping <v Speaker 2>up Mellow for his match tonight. Mis tells Mellow that <v Speaker 2>he is awe with him, but Mellow doesn't seem to <v Speaker 2>believe it at all. As they come out for the <v Speaker 2>match tonight, We've got Miss looking at ringside, and ways <v Speaker 2>Wade actually says as well that Mellow is looking nervous <v Speaker 2>to face Black. Black looking really impressive as we start <v Speaker 2>off the match. He's actually making a bit of a <v Speaker 2>mug out of Mellow to be fair now, though Mellow <v Speaker 2>does get into offense, but Black comes back strong with <v Speaker 2>a massive needed a face and hits a brainbuster and <v Speaker 2>gets a close cover on Mellow. Mis interrupts when Black <v Speaker 2>is about to hit his black Mass and Mellow tries <v Speaker 2>to attack from behind, but Black sees it coming and moves, <v Speaker 2>leaving Mellow to take out Mis. Black takes the win <v Speaker 2>and Mis tries to rush him but instead eats another <v Speaker 2>black Mass, So Black with the win. This was a <v Speaker 2>good match, both guys with some brilliant moves and Black <v Speaker 2>comes out with the win and again Miss is laid out. <v Speaker 2>So what now for Black? I would love him to <v Speaker 2>work his way up to a title shot of some description. <v Speaker 2>He's something different, which I think is just what we <v Speaker 2>need right now. So let's hope we can trust in <v Speaker 2>Trips to book him well to be able to get <v Speaker 2>the best from him, because he really is something quite special. <v Speaker 2>Backstage now to Fatu and Solo, Solo is saying the <v Speaker 2>numbers game isn't working for him and they need a <v Speaker 2>game plan as he is out of soldiers. Fatu says <v Speaker 2>he doesn't need a game plan, and then, to be <v Speaker 2>completely honest, I lost what he said completely, but I <v Speaker 2>think the gist was that he's going to basically kill <v Speaker 2>the other three guys in the match tomorrow. He doesn't <v Speaker 2>need anyone to help, and honestly, who would disagree. Fatu <v Speaker 2>is an absolute beast and is being booked incredibly strongly <v Speaker 2>at the moment. Now we have a tag match, and <v Speaker 2>this one is the result of the earlier attack lost <v Speaker 2>Gazos Versus Andde and Phoenix, and this should certainly be <v Speaker 2>a high octane match. As we start off, Los Gazos <v Speaker 2>have the upper hand and have started off especially aggressively <v Speaker 2>with Santos at ringside. Andra Dai now in to try <v Speaker 2>and make a difference for his team, but is chucked <v Speaker 2>out of the ring, as is Phoenix, and Los Garzas <v Speaker 2>deliver beautiful double moon salts to the outside on both guys. <v Speaker 2>Shenanigan's ringside from Santos. Later on in the match works <v Speaker 2>against Los Guardos as Berto had the win, but the <v Speaker 2>refidency it as he was distracted. And this is good stuff. <v Speaker 2>So in Seeds of Discontent in the Guardo delf and Pasma, <v Speaker 2>Phoenix hits adios Amigo and Andree hits the message and <v Speaker 2>gets the win, pinning Berto a great match again. The <v Speaker 2>loocher game at the moment in WWE is really strong, <v Speaker 2>especially after they've just bought that Triple A company, which <v Speaker 2>looking forward to seeing what happens with that. Afterwards, we <v Speaker 2>get Santos screaming in Berto's face, but finally Berto hits <v Speaker 2>back and slaps Santos, and it looks like we may <v Speaker 2>have the start of a breakdown of Legardo, Delf and Tasma. <v Speaker 2>Now it's time for and as always in his current character, <v Speaker 2>he looks like he's eight eleven. The crowd now fully <v Speaker 2>booming him, and someone chucked a bottle into the ring, <v Speaker 2>which is funny at first, but then you think, actually <v Speaker 2>that could have hurt him in real life. It looks plastic, <v Speaker 2>which is I guess what they give out arenas in <v Speaker 2>the States. So no harm done, but let's as a <v Speaker 2>WWE universe respect that Sea is just a guy basically <v Speaker 2>doing an acting job and doesn't need to get things <v Speaker 2>thrown at him that could actually properly hurt him in <v Speaker 2>real life. Anyway, that's a bit too sensible for my liking. <v Speaker 2>He says that tomorrow night, your childhood dies. He says <v Speaker 2>everyone knows how important Backclash is. He says that Randy <v Speaker 2>isn't here tonight. He's home with his family preparing for <v Speaker 2>the biggest moment of his career. He says, in the <v Speaker 2>twenty five years that they have fought, they have over <v Speaker 2>a hundred appearances a lot, right, because if the other <v Speaker 2>people they fought, if they've fought each other one hundred <v Speaker 2>times in those years, is that what he's saying, or <v Speaker 2>they have four one hundred times including other people. Anyway, <v Speaker 2>anyone aged twelve to fifty five has to pick a side. <v Speaker 2>You're either Randy or Sena. He says tomorrow is their <v Speaker 2>final match, and he says he proves to see things tomorrow. <v Speaker 2>One life isn't fair, two Randy's a liar, and three <v Speaker 2>winners write history. He goes on to talk about Randy <v Speaker 2>and him being an EPO baby, which is funny for <v Speaker 2>me because that's been on my mind a lot this <v Speaker 2>week as well. Certainly definitely a thing in wrestling. And actually, <v Speaker 2>while I was away on holiday a few weeks ago, <v Speaker 2>I watched the film That Iron Claw, and again that's <v Speaker 2>about sort of generational wrestling, and if you haven't seen it, <v Speaker 2>see it's it's a good story, and I think it's <v Speaker 2>based on real life as well. Anyway, So he goes <v Speaker 2>on shore about Randy being an EFO baby. He says <v Speaker 2>that Randy has wasted his talent. He says, you can't <v Speaker 2>count on Randy and he is the goat of doing <v Speaker 2>the bare minimum. And I did it here that somebody <v Speaker 2>when Randy was starting out. Apparently Randy is very good <v Speaker 2>athletically and can really do the flippy spinny moves very well, <v Speaker 2>and he was told, no, don't do that, because you're <v Speaker 2>short in your career. Just keep it to the bare minimum. Allegedly, <v Speaker 2>how much of this is true? And k fabe who knows? <v Speaker 2>He then goes on to say that even though Randy <v Speaker 2>is third generation, no one knows Bob Boughton Senior, Bob <v Speaker 2>Orton Junior's greatest achievement was knocking at Randy's mum he <v Speaker 2>goes on to mention Randy's failed drug test, which I'd <v Speaker 2>complieve you've forgotten about. We never go there. I mean, <v Speaker 2>imagine that in Vince's day, we're going to start talking <v Speaker 2>about superstars failing drug test. Damn. I wonder if they <v Speaker 2>knew seeing it was going to say that, or whether <v Speaker 2>he's he's done a bit of a punk, whether he's <v Speaker 2>just drop a pipe bomb. So then as the shot <v Speaker 2>closes right in close up on Sena, everyone knows potentially <v Speaker 2>what's going to happen. We think we get a Randy <v Speaker 2>sneak attack to Sina, which gets caught in. I think <v Speaker 2>it was an attitude adjustment by Sena, but it isn't Randy. <v Speaker 2>I don't seen. They didn't realize. He's got his hood <v Speaker 2>up and tattoos, looked a little bit like Randy, but <v Speaker 2>was considerably smaller than Randy Orton. Whoever fake Randy was. <v Speaker 2>We don't know who fake Randy was. But Sena puts <v Speaker 2>down fake Randy in an attitude adjustment. But then as <v Speaker 2>he's you know, loving himself to the crowd, we have <v Speaker 2>real Randy who comes out behind Scena and rkos him <v Speaker 2>again and the crowd go nuts. We end the show <v Speaker 2>with Randy holding up the title and standing overseen it <v Speaker 2>in the ring, knocked out with an RKO again, So <v Speaker 2>that's the second time that's happened. That's the second time <v Speaker 2>that we've got Randy standing proud with the title, which <v Speaker 2>probably tells us we're not going to get the title change. <v Speaker 2>I think we're going to get a really good match <v Speaker 2>at Backlash. This show was a great show again tonight, <v Speaker 2>with some good new angles developed and some continuing storylines <v Speaker 2>building really nicely to Backlash. All being equal, I think <v Speaker 2>Randy should win tomorrow. Maybe he does by fear not, <v Speaker 2>I do prediction anagans, but will we see the Rock? <v Speaker 2>Don't be silly, of course not. Maybe something else, Maybe <v Speaker 2>someone else were turning someone else unexpected Cody, or as <v Speaker 2>a bit early to bring Cody into the angle. We're <v Speaker 2>not building to next WrestleMania because scene is out after December, <v Speaker 2>so maybe this is building for SummerSlam, which means that <v Speaker 2>if we see Randy, maybe that is the start of <v Speaker 2>the build to Rand sorry to Cody getting the title <v Speaker 2>back or is there a money in the bank angle? <v Speaker 2>But I think we're definitely not going to see the Rock, <v Speaker 2>whichever way around you look at it. I just hope <v Speaker 2>it's not that idiot Travis Scott again, who I don't <v Speaker 2>know him. I don't know who he is, but I <v Speaker 2>don't see why some scrawny little guy managed to have <v Speaker 2>a impact at WrestleMania that was so cataclysmic. There's a <v Speaker 2>word for the day. Anyway, enjoy backclash, guys. It's a <v Speaker 2>beautiful sunny day here in the UK and it's forecasted <v Speaker 2>to be nice all week. Oh and hey, I would <v Speaker 2>be being genuine to my Spurs origin if I didn't say, <v Speaker 2>my god, can anyone else believe that Spurs have got <v Speaker 2>through to a European Cup final? It's happening twenty first <v Speaker 2>of May. We're going to Bilbao. We're hopefully going to <v Speaker 2>beat United and end our seventeen year drought. That's probably <v Speaker 2>a bit niche for those who be listening anywhere else <v Speaker 2>over in North London, but anyway, enjoyed backlash. I just <v Speaker 2>about does it for this week's show.
