<v Speaker 2>Welcome everybody to the Elimination Chamber review for twenty twenty five.
<v Speaker 2>I'm doing this early, and I never do it this
<v Speaker 2>early because sleep usually wins because of my schedule. But
<v Speaker 2>when something happens that is just too big to ignore,
<v Speaker 2>too big to wait even just twenty four hours, I
<v Speaker 2>have to jump on it. And we got that tonight.
<v Speaker 2>Triple H delivered on his promise. He delivered on his
<v Speaker 2>promise and then some with a pl that I think
<v Speaker 2>was the best of his regime. It was from top
<v Speaker 2>to bottom excellent, like nine point five out of ten.
<v Speaker 2>That was everything you'd want it to be. From the
<v Speaker 2>match quality, the crowd was pretty damn good. We have
<v Speaker 2>violent matches, We had blood that was saved to the end.
<v Speaker 2>We had a turn that we never thought we'd ever
<v Speaker 2>see in John Cena. And I had floated the idea
<v Speaker 2>because many of you have floated the idea of John
<v Speaker 2>Cena turning heel where I said he could, But what
<v Speaker 2>are we going to do with that? Why are we
<v Speaker 2>going to wasted on the on John Cena aligning with
<v Speaker 2>the Rock when it could be a younger talent. But
<v Speaker 2>I said, if it's going to happen, you've got nine
<v Speaker 2>months to make it fun. It's not like he's doing
<v Speaker 2>it the last two months of his career. He's doing
<v Speaker 2>it for nine months and you could get a lot
<v Speaker 2>out of it. And John Cena as a heel they
<v Speaker 2>felt would be more valuable and more shocking than if
<v Speaker 2>he stayed as a babyface, which I agree with. They
<v Speaker 2>clearly now have no intention of turning Cody heel, at
<v Speaker 2>least for the next year. Maybe at WrestleMania forty two
<v Speaker 2>in New Orleans is the next time you can look
<v Speaker 2>for a potential Cody heel turn because it's not happening now.
<v Speaker 2>And we got Cody. We've got Cody Rhoades as a
<v Speaker 2>sympathetic babyface. I mean, I'll be honest, this may be
<v Speaker 2>the first storyline that I can get behind Cody somewhat
<v Speaker 2>where you wonder who he's going to align with to
<v Speaker 2>try to take down the power couple, so to speak,
<v Speaker 2>of John Cena and the Rock. Who is he going
<v Speaker 2>to align with? Who's gonna come make the save? Who's
<v Speaker 2>going to save the day? Is it punk? Could be? See?
<v Speaker 2>I'm punk could be the one to join in. But
<v Speaker 2>I want to say this, if there ever was a
<v Speaker 2>time when we needed or wanted a crashing of the
<v Speaker 2>glass more than we did at that moment in those
<v Speaker 2>minutes when Cody was getting beat down by both John Cena,
<v Speaker 2>well actually just John Cena. Did the Rock even attack him?
<v Speaker 2>I think he might have got a couple of shots
<v Speaker 2>at Yeah, he did, he did heat he got him
<v Speaker 2>with the belt. And so if there was ever a
<v Speaker 2>glass crashing moment with stone cold Steve Austin in my
<v Speaker 2>mind that I wanted to see, and I'm sure many
<v Speaker 2>of you did think the same thing, that was the moment,
<v Speaker 2>But it perhaps is reserved for WrestleMania. Not saying Austin's
<v Speaker 2>coming out of retirement to wrestle I'm saying he could
<v Speaker 2>do what he should have done last year in stunning
<v Speaker 2>the Rock, where he could come out and still stun
<v Speaker 2>the Rock and maybe even John Cena, So that moment
<v Speaker 2>may be reserved for WrestleMania, as we now have a
<v Speaker 2>John Cena versus Cody Rhodes's main event set that is
<v Speaker 2>infinitely more interesting. With John Cena as a heel. I
<v Speaker 2>can't believe I'm saying that a moment I didn't think
<v Speaker 2>i'd see a moment that I give credit to. We
<v Speaker 2>give credit to the Rock and give credit to John
<v Speaker 2>Cena for all pulling this off brilliant brilliantly, and we
<v Speaker 2>don't even know what the final chapter of this is.
<v Speaker 2>You would imagine that John Cena is going to remain
<v Speaker 2>heel for the foreseeable future, maybe turning back Babyface just
<v Speaker 2>before he leaves. That's probably what's gonna happen. Is is
<v Speaker 2>a tire going to Is this music going to change?
<v Speaker 2>I would say yeah, because if you're gonna do this,
<v Speaker 2>this is the last chance you have to do it,
<v Speaker 2>and you're never gonna get this chance again, which is
<v Speaker 2>probably also what sold John to maybe go ahead with this.
<v Speaker 2>And we can also point to the previous press conference
<v Speaker 2>with the Royal Rumble where he said I'm basic, I'm
<v Speaker 2>in it because I deserve it, because of who I am.
<v Speaker 2>You know, at the time, I said it could be
<v Speaker 2>the seedlings of a heel turn. But if it's not,
<v Speaker 2>it's ridiculous logic and turns out, hey, it looks like
<v Speaker 2>it was the seedlings for a heel turn and we
<v Speaker 2>got it. And I had said to you guys, if
<v Speaker 2>this segment is placed at the end of the show,
<v Speaker 2>look out, and boy did we need to look out.
<v Speaker 2>It was placed at the end of the show. Johnsen
<v Speaker 2>is hanging out and we'll go through the matches in
<v Speaker 2>a minute. We'll go through match by match. I'll give
<v Speaker 2>you my breakdowns and my thoughts because there's more to
<v Speaker 2>talk about than even Johnson is heel turn, believe it
<v Speaker 2>or not. A card. That was just, I mean, the
<v Speaker 2>best pl I've seen, even more than some WrestleManias, because
<v Speaker 2>WrestleMania is a marathon, even though it is two nights.
<v Speaker 2>This blew every pl out of the water that I
<v Speaker 2>can think of, at least over the last six to
<v Speaker 2>twelve months, including well, I shouldn't say last years Wrestlemenia forty.
<v Speaker 2>That was pretty good any non WrestleMania over the last
<v Speaker 2>twelve months. I think it toppled Summer Slam, money in
<v Speaker 2>the Bank, you name it. It was just an incredible
<v Speaker 2>pl Was it the best I've ever seen? I mean,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, hard to tell. We've seen if you've
<v Speaker 2>been watching wrestling for years, you've seen dozens, hundreds, if
<v Speaker 2>not thousands, of pls. But I would say, at least
<v Speaker 2>in recent memory, it's up there, not number one, but
<v Speaker 2>because I'm not trying to overdramatize how good this was,
<v Speaker 2>but it was just a great pro wrestling show. So yes,
<v Speaker 2>there's more to talk about than just John Cena's heel turn.
<v Speaker 2>But that's I mean, and rightfully so, at the forefront
<v Speaker 2>of everybody's mind right now is the John Cena hill turn.
<v Speaker 2>That I mean, he's been a babyface nearly since he
<v Speaker 2>debuted in w People forget he actually was a heel
<v Speaker 2>as the Doctor of Thugonomics, but it didn't last long,
<v Speaker 2>so technically he's been a heel, but it was so
<v Speaker 2>brief that no one really remembers because everyone loved the
<v Speaker 2>Doctor of Thugonomics and it just turned instantly into an
<v Speaker 2>organic babyface. But he was booked as a heel nearly
<v Speaker 2>turned here with the Rock when he returned in twenty eleven,
<v Speaker 2>that didn't happen, but now here it is. It's here
<v Speaker 2>the final Boss and John Cena. You do wonder as
<v Speaker 2>Michael Cole said, what the point of this is for
<v Speaker 2>John Cena? What's in this for John Cena? It's gonna
<v Speaker 2>be very fun and interesting to hear what the logic
<v Speaker 2>is for John? What's in it for him? He's got
<v Speaker 2>everything he needs. He's got. I mean, he's not as
<v Speaker 2>big of a star as The Rock is, but he's
<v Speaker 2>still a household name. People still know who he is.
<v Speaker 2>He's making his own way in Hollywood. So what is
<v Speaker 2>it for John?
<v Speaker 1>I mean?
<v Speaker 2>Plus, John has already accomplished everything there is to accomplish
<v Speaker 2>in pro wrestling. He's done over everything there is to do.
<v Speaker 2>So what is the logic for John? I'm sure they'll
<v Speaker 2>come up with something. I'm not worried about it. And
<v Speaker 2>imagine the promos as well, the promos from John Cena
<v Speaker 2>and between John Cena and Cody Rhoads are going to
<v Speaker 2>be just stupendous. That's gonna be so much fun, don't forget.
<v Speaker 2>Randy Orton also returned. It's kind of a side note.
<v Speaker 2>Randy Orton, you know, continues to reappear at poles that
<v Speaker 2>he gets overshadowed at. I really feel bad for the guy.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, every time he returns it's like, oh wow,
<v Speaker 2>Orton's here, but then something bigger happens right after him.
<v Speaker 2>I just feel for Orton. Man. He can't ever be
<v Speaker 2>like the focal point. He's an afterthought and I hate
<v Speaker 2>to say that, but we'll get to him. So my
<v Speaker 2>closing opening thoughts on this heel turn. I love it.
<v Speaker 2>The facial expression from John Cena, the cutting of the
<v Speaker 2>throat by the rock that was great. Having Cody actually
<v Speaker 2>say the F word was shocking but also refreshing. I
<v Speaker 2>wasn't offended by it. I thought. I was like, oh
<v Speaker 2>my okay, yeah, that's right. We're on a pl e.
<v Speaker 2>All right, it's after hours. I guess we can do this.
<v Speaker 2>But for any of the kids listening, parents that are
<v Speaker 2>sitting there with their kids are like, oh damn it,
<v Speaker 2>and now I have to explain to my kid what
<v Speaker 2>he just said, because usually they bleep that stuff out,
<v Speaker 2>which is also kind of funny because they that out.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sorry they didn't bleep out what Cody said because
<v Speaker 2>it's part of the story, but they did bleep out
<v Speaker 2>the F you logan chants by the crowd, so figure
<v Speaker 2>that one out. And yes, the national anthem got to
<v Speaker 2>get got booed, what did you expect. You're in Canada.
<v Speaker 2>The current administration has been, you know, not exactly friendly
<v Speaker 2>to Canada, so it's extra motivation for them to not
<v Speaker 2>like United States citizens or any kind of propaganda from
<v Speaker 2>the United States. It's fine, I'm not going to make
<v Speaker 2>a big deal about it. Logan Paul bringing aunt the
<v Speaker 2>American flag. Great, it's what you do. And people who
<v Speaker 2>are saying, well, you didn't bring politics in, and Sammy
<v Speaker 2>Zine said, we're not doing politics, well, this is in politics.
<v Speaker 2>It's him waiving the American flag. He didn't talk politics.
<v Speaker 2>He's doing something that's tried and true, tested strategy of
<v Speaker 2>just heels going into opposing countries waving their nation's flag,
<v Speaker 2>even if there's no political rivalry. That's just what you
<v Speaker 2>do if you're a heel. It's a tried and true
<v Speaker 2>formula for God's sakes. So John Cena going for the
<v Speaker 2>nutshot though, just just great. John Cena pubbling Cody like
<v Speaker 2>a heel. Cody Wrotes taking some nasty belt shots off
<v Speaker 2>the face, I mean nasty. Same with Kevin Owens. My god,
<v Speaker 2>we'll get to that. The belt shots off the head
<v Speaker 2>and the face, I mean I got a little concerned
<v Speaker 2>because you could hear it and they were being safe,
<v Speaker 2>but Cody was still taking it. And he had some
<v Speaker 2>bumps and bruises on his face that weren't faked. That
<v Speaker 2>was real deal.
<v Speaker 1>Now.
<v Speaker 2>The bleading was, of course you manufactured, but the rest
<v Speaker 2>of the bumps and bruises on his you know, bones,
<v Speaker 2>damn and Kevin Owens could barely open his eye if
<v Speaker 2>you noticed, he took that shot off the steelchair wrapped
<v Speaker 2>in barbed wire like a champ. Holy crap, that match
<v Speaker 2>just blew me away. So I mean, this is a
<v Speaker 2>lot of fun. Now. Now, am I still backtracking on
<v Speaker 2>things being more complicated than they need to be? Not
<v Speaker 2>really backtracking on it. I stood by it based on
<v Speaker 2>the information I had at the very moment. I still
<v Speaker 2>don't think we need forty five minutes of the Rock
<v Speaker 2>when he could cut it down to fifteen in his
<v Speaker 2>you know, his long winded promos where he repeats himself
<v Speaker 2>and he's like he could cut down a lot of
<v Speaker 2>the stuff he does when he does appear by a
<v Speaker 2>significant margin. I think that's a big problem I have
<v Speaker 2>with his appearances. But now we have John Cena and
<v Speaker 2>The Rock, who are both on ultra part time schedules,
<v Speaker 2>So you're gonna have anywhere they go, it's gonna be advertised,
<v Speaker 2>and it should be. Where are they're going to be,
<v Speaker 2>I mean, selling out any arena they go into anywhere. Really,
<v Speaker 2>a SmackDown is going to probably sell out any no
<v Speaker 2>matter what I mean. Things are hot, Twitter or X
<v Speaker 2>is blowing up right now, rightfully. So you have John Cena, guys,
<v Speaker 2>in twenty twenty five. It finally happened. It finally happened
<v Speaker 2>since his debut in two thousand and two minus the yeah, okay,
<v Speaker 2>he was kind of a heel, the Doctor of Economics.
<v Speaker 2>But for all intents and purposes, it's been twenty three
<v Speaker 2>years since John Cena has been a heel. A quarter
<v Speaker 2>of a century almost since John Cena has dipped into
<v Speaker 2>the heel territory. No more, mister hustle, loyalty and respect.
<v Speaker 2>We get to see what this version of John Cena
<v Speaker 2>looks like. We've been wondering, we've been thinking of thinking
<v Speaker 2>about what the bad guy John Cena looks like. How
<v Speaker 2>is he going to turn back on twenty three years
<v Speaker 2>of preaching hustle, loyalty and respect. That doesn't undermine everything
<v Speaker 2>he just said, you know what I mean, Like, he
<v Speaker 2>can't just immediately reverse course and say cheating, lying. You know,
<v Speaker 2>He's not going to do the Eddie Guerrero road because
<v Speaker 2>it would just spit in the face of twenty five
<v Speaker 2>years of him screaming, you know, eat your vitamins and
<v Speaker 2>say your prayers and just hustle and have respect and
<v Speaker 2>always be loyal. Doesn't make sense. So I'm very curious
<v Speaker 2>how they navigate those waters. But the promos are going
<v Speaker 2>to be just awesome. What Cody Rhodes has to say.
<v Speaker 2>I very much am interested as well. But he's going
<v Speaker 2>to have to find some help. Where does that help
<v Speaker 2>come from? Could very well also be Randy Orton once
<v Speaker 2>he gets done with KO. I think Stone Cold Steve
<v Speaker 2>Austin is going to have a very fun QUI say,
<v Speaker 2>at WrestleMania forty one, nothing long term, just some stunners,
<v Speaker 2>some beer, and the crowd is going to lose their minds,
<v Speaker 2>which is making me want to buy tickets to Vegas.
<v Speaker 2>So there's a lot to look forward to here, there's
<v Speaker 2>a lot to digest, and let's just get into it
<v Speaker 2>as I go through the matches here, which again I
<v Speaker 2>really don't have a negative thing to say, at least
<v Speaker 2>on a large scale, for any of these matches. Can
<v Speaker 2>I nitpick, Yes, absolutely, I can definitely nitpick on certain things.
<v Speaker 2>But let's get to it here. So let's start with
<v Speaker 2>the match of the women's elimination Chamber match, which you
<v Speaker 2>knew was going to start the show. You just yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, that's just how it goes when the men's
<v Speaker 2>and women's matches. For now, the women's start the show,
<v Speaker 2>the men's end it. Maybe that'll reverse course someday, but
<v Speaker 2>that's the way it is. So live Morgan, Bianca, Alexa Bailey,
<v Speaker 2>Naomi Roxamperez winner gets a shot at the Women's World
<v Speaker 2>Championship at WrestleMania forty one. So here we are live.
<v Speaker 2>Morgan and Naomi start the match, but Jade Cargill's music played.
<v Speaker 2>She comes to the ring. No, no, you know, no
<v Speaker 2>pomp and circumstance. She was all business. She looked all business.
<v Speaker 2>She wasn't there to pose for Instagram. She still looks
<v Speaker 2>like two million bucks. Her look is it's incredible. Her
<v Speaker 2>look is incredible. I've been steadfast on that, but I
<v Speaker 2>have been very critical of her in ring work, of
<v Speaker 2>her lack of growth. I have don't no doubt. I
<v Speaker 2>don't take that back. But what we saw tonight was
<v Speaker 2>exactly what she needed to be in the moment. Is
<v Speaker 2>this a sign that everything's all good, no worries, it's
<v Speaker 2>a it's a sign of all clear. No, it's not,
<v Speaker 2>but it's a step in the right direction. It was
<v Speaker 2>the exact way you bring her back. So she comes
<v Speaker 2>out and Morgan Live Morgan looked petrified. She comes through,
<v Speaker 2>opens the door, looked like she was gonna hit Live
<v Speaker 2>Morgan and clocks Naomi starts beating her half to death.
<v Speaker 2>Bell Air was shown in her pod just having a
<v Speaker 2>complete meltdown. I mean, just pounding and screaming why, and
<v Speaker 2>you know, twirling her hair four hundred times, which I
<v Speaker 2>need to Kim. I don't know. I don't want to
<v Speaker 2>be negative, so someone can continue on the positive road here.
<v Speaker 2>But Cargill was just beating her half to death. Finally
<v Speaker 2>the security guards come in. It's being told by Michael
<v Speaker 2>Cole that we assume the reason she's doing this is
<v Speaker 2>because she's knows something that we don't, that Naomi was
<v Speaker 2>the one that attacked her. So Naomi was eliminated because
<v Speaker 2>she was unable to continue, and so I guess they're
<v Speaker 2>gonna go with Jade, Cargo and Naomi Cool, no problem.
<v Speaker 2>It takes Bianca out of the tag team division Priority one,
<v Speaker 2>It puts Jade in a match singles match and her
<v Speaker 2>in a singles role box check number two. It gives
<v Speaker 2>Naomi the most important match of her career. I would argue, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I know she's had title matchess the WrestleMania before, but
<v Speaker 2>this feels different, and this is at least easily the
<v Speaker 2>most important match she's had since she returned to the
<v Speaker 2>company a couple of years ago at the World Rumble.
<v Speaker 2>So this is good for everyone. Jade came in and
<v Speaker 2>left as quickly as she came in and just stormed back.
<v Speaker 2>It was great, awesome, just is exactly what it needed
<v Speaker 2>to be. Jade looked good, everybody sold well, and you
<v Speaker 2>know Bianca's probably you know, he needs therapy over what
<v Speaker 2>she witnessed. All right, So Bianca then was the next
<v Speaker 2>one to come out, and she it was around four minutes.
<v Speaker 2>Morgan was attacking bel Air. They were fighting back and forth.
<v Speaker 2>The fourth when it come in was Roxanne Perez, the
<v Speaker 2>fifth was Bailey, and the sixth and final one was
<v Speaker 2>Alexa Bliss at fourteen minutes and Bliss was smirking slowly
<v Speaker 2>as she exited her pod, which was kind of cool,
<v Speaker 2>and we had Bianca and Morgan fighting on top of
<v Speaker 2>one of the pods. Belair went Morgan with her ponytail,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, Belair should do something with that hair.
<v Speaker 2>And besides torilttle around, I've seen Belair without that braid
<v Speaker 2>and just kind of you know, straightening her hair or whatever.
<v Speaker 2>I think she looks better that way. It's my personal preference.
<v Speaker 2>She looks more like a grown up. It's the one
<v Speaker 2>criticism I've been pushing for her to get out of
<v Speaker 2>the title attack team titles and the tag team division.
<v Speaker 2>Just generally, I think that she looks much more mature
<v Speaker 2>and she looks much more like a professional when she
<v Speaker 2>doesn't have that hair. But just my my take. Okay,
<v Speaker 2>And again, I know some of you are gonna be like, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>it's racist for some reason. I'm sure you'll come up
<v Speaker 2>with something, but anyway, rex Amperez was eliminated in twenty
<v Speaker 2>three minutes, so she was the first one out. Alexa
<v Speaker 2>Bliss was eliminated at twenty five minutes after live Morgan
<v Speaker 2>rolled up Bliss and then the final two where we're
<v Speaker 2>bell Air and Live Morgan, and you kind of knew here,
<v Speaker 2>Belair's got this. Once Alexa Bliss was actually eliminated, you knew, well,
<v Speaker 2>it's got to be bel Air, because they're not gonna
<v Speaker 2>put Live Morgan, who's the tag team champion in the
<v Speaker 2>title match that she's you know, she just was the
<v Speaker 2>women's champion for how long? And you're not gonna put RIEA.
<v Speaker 2>Ripley and Live Morgan back in the same program. Maybe
<v Speaker 2>people are over it, so it was all it was
<v Speaker 2>a foregone conclusion once Alexi Bliss won or lost. Rather
<v Speaker 2>so it came down to uh bel Air and Live Morgan.
<v Speaker 2>Belair swung Morgan into the side of the pod. Belair
<v Speaker 2>put Morgan back inside the ring, went for four fifty,
<v Speaker 2>Morgan put her knees up, Bellair went for a KOD,
<v Speaker 2>but Morgan countered into a codebreaker, and then Morgan went
<v Speaker 2>for Oblivion, but Belair hit the KOD and got the victory,
<v Speaker 2>and then Bellair celebrated, went to the entrance and that's
<v Speaker 2>when Rhea Ripley walked out and went face to face
<v Speaker 2>with her, and then Eosky who everyone's like, oh yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I actually had to remember, what the hell are you
<v Speaker 2>doing out here? I'm like, did you win the rumble?
<v Speaker 2>I'm like nope, I'm like what I had to be reminded. However,
<v Speaker 2>while I was annoyed by it, once they told me
<v Speaker 2>that she had a championship match, I'm like, Okay, well,
<v Speaker 2>sure they're doing this, And I appreciate it because even
<v Speaker 2>though she has no chance of it's still a respectable
<v Speaker 2>thing to do to give that slightpeit it out, slipen
<v Speaker 2>it out, and it doesn't give a foregone conclusion to
<v Speaker 2>the fans that well they're not even bringing up somebody
<v Speaker 2>that's challenging for the belt out that there's no chance
<v Speaker 2>at all. So I really I did appreciate that, even
<v Speaker 2>though Eo did feel completely out of place there. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>she just felt like a girl among women at that moment. So,
<v Speaker 2>and don't get me wrong, Eo Sky is incredible in
<v Speaker 2>the ring, and every time she gets on the ring,
<v Speaker 2>you're just like, oh my god, right, just you and
<v Speaker 2>I said this last show, I said, every time you
<v Speaker 2>see her, it's like, why don't they put her in
<v Speaker 2>the ring more? But great stuff really good. That braid
<v Speaker 2>whit by the way, you see Live Morgan's stomach. My god,
<v Speaker 2>I do have one big negative that I'll get to
<v Speaker 2>at the end of the show. Big one has nothing
<v Speaker 2>to do with actual wrestlers. There's a hint, just ridiculous,
<v Speaker 2>but I'll get to that. If you're looking for some negativity,
<v Speaker 2>some of you grab onto that negativity. I've got a
<v Speaker 2>good one for you, all right. But then we get
<v Speaker 2>Tivioty Stratton. Oh before that, bell Air and Live Morgan.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sorry Bellair and uh reea Ripley. Finally, finally we
<v Speaker 2>get that match that is gonna be just incredible, incredible.
<v Speaker 2>This WrestleMania that many of us were kind of down
<v Speaker 2>on in hu hum just a month ago suddenly got
<v Speaker 2>an injection of adrenaline last night or tonight. It's great.
<v Speaker 3>All right.
<v Speaker 2>So Women's Champion Tivioty Stratton and Trish Stratus take on
<v Speaker 2>Nia Jackson candicell Ray. And this was kind of the

<v Speaker 2>This is a match that doesn't have a whole lot
<v Speaker 2>on the line. Sure you've got Trish, she's from Toronto,
<v Speaker 2>but it's like we've seen Trish back before. It's not
<v Speaker 2>that big of a deal. But this match delivered and
<v Speaker 2>over delivered. I think credit to all four women here.
<v Speaker 2>And what I found really funny is that Tris Stratus
<v Speaker 2>didn't get as big of a reaction as Tiffany. Right,
<v Speaker 2>she didn't. I mean, Tris Strattus got a nice reaction
<v Speaker 2>because she's from Toronto, but Tiffany Stratton got I think
<v Speaker 2>an even bigger reaction than the hometown hero did. So
<v Speaker 2>that was I think that's a good sign for Tiffany.
<v Speaker 2>That's not a slight on Trish. It's just a good
<v Speaker 2>sign for tiff all right, so let's continue this match.
<v Speaker 2>How long did it last? Let me get a time
<v Speaker 2>stamp on it. Eleven minutes and forty seconds, respectable, And
<v Speaker 2>here's the finish. Stratus eventually tags in hits a top
<v Speaker 2>rope bulldog on Jack's which Cole called a super stratisfaction,
<v Speaker 2>and Naya took it as good as she could, so
<v Speaker 2>that was fine. Lay went for a springboard moonsalt to
<v Speaker 2>break up the pin, but Strattus moved, causing the Raid
<v Speaker 2>to land on Jacks, and then Stratton tagged in, cleared
<v Speaker 2>the Ray from the ring. Stratton hit Jacks with the
<v Speaker 2>prettiest moon salt and got the victory. This match was good,
<v Speaker 2>and again it didn't have much on the line. The
<v Speaker 2>bar wasn't very high, so that also may help in
<v Speaker 2>my analysis of this match that not much on the line,
<v Speaker 2>didn't really have a ton of emotional investment in it,
<v Speaker 2>and that's also why I'm feeling good about it. But
<v Speaker 2>Tiffany needed to win because she's going to be defending
<v Speaker 2>her championship against Charlotte Flair, you know, in a month
<v Speaker 2>and a half, six weeks, seven weeks, so you have
<v Speaker 2>to have some momentum going for her. I'm surprised there
<v Speaker 2>was no Charlotte. I was wrong on that. I thought
<v Speaker 2>she'd come in and make her presence known or cost
<v Speaker 2>her the match. That didn't happen, but I'm fine with that.
<v Speaker 2>Didn't bother me a bit. It was a nice moment
<v Speaker 2>for Trish, who again continues to be ageless. And you
<v Speaker 2>have Tiffany Stratton, who is on the rise in the
<v Speaker 2>company and likely poised to retain the championship at WrestleMania.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think she's going to lose it for some time,
<v Speaker 2>all right. So then we get some Travis Scott stuff.
<v Speaker 2>We'll talk about his ass later. And then we got
<v Speaker 2>an attendance listing of thirty eighty four hundred and ninety
<v Speaker 2>three people. We have let's see here, Lisa Taylor come
<v Speaker 2>in the ring and she announced the following contest was unsanctioned.
<v Speaker 2>And I like that she did this. I like how
<v Speaker 2>WWE did this because this was my concern, Like, you
<v Speaker 2>have a match, but you say it's not a match
<v Speaker 2>yet it's UNDERWE on a ww platform, so they said.
<v Speaker 2>She said that the WWE absolves all responsibility for anything
<v Speaker 2>that would happen during this match. She said there were
<v Speaker 2>no countouts, no disqualifications or rules. The referee's job was
<v Speaker 2>to count pinfalls or accept the submission and referees Rod
<v Speaker 2>Sapata was dressed in black and wore rubber gloves rather
<v Speaker 2>than the usual referee officiating attire, which I really that's
<v Speaker 2>a nice touch. I really enjoyed that. It was small
<v Speaker 2>but important that you had that because had it been
<v Speaker 2>an official or an unsanctioned match, and everything else still
<v Speaker 2>looks official. Then it's a bit of a kind of
<v Speaker 2>lot of my face, you know what I mean, a
<v Speaker 2>lot of me better kind of scenario, like be good
<v Speaker 2>or be good at it, And they were good at it.
<v Speaker 2>And I really enjoyed that. The lighting in the ring
<v Speaker 2>for this match, the explanation at the beginning from Alicia
<v Speaker 2>Taylor and the referee, it all settled. See see how
<v Speaker 2>easy things can be when you don't have to dig
<v Speaker 2>too deep. Just give me the basics, not going into
<v Speaker 2>the legal ease of it, but at least give me
<v Speaker 2>the respect as a fan that you respect my intelligence
<v Speaker 2>level enough to assume that I'm thinking to myself, how
<v Speaker 2>is this unsanctioned? Yet it's a match and it's indebitab
<v Speaker 2>you know so I really like that. That was just
<v Speaker 2>it's simple but effective. Now the third match here with
<v Speaker 2>Ko and Sammy unsanctioned? This match, can we put it
<v Speaker 2>as a match of the year candidate? Can Can we
<v Speaker 2>do that? Can we already? Can we like start voting early? Incredible,
<v Speaker 2>just incredible, twenty seven minutes and thirty five seconds of
<v Speaker 2>just pure A pure clinic now, not a wrestling clinic,
<v Speaker 2>not a chain wrestling clinic. As we knew it wouldn't be,
<v Speaker 2>but a clinic in psychology in bumps that look brutal
<v Speaker 2>but are somehow not, you know, injuring that person ring
<v Speaker 2>safety pacing, and this is a perfect example of matches
<v Speaker 2>that still can happen without having to do four fifty
<v Speaker 2>splashes and working four hundred miles an hour, which I
<v Speaker 2>think a lot of the style today is guilty of that.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not a fan of. The pacing wasn't super fast,
<v Speaker 2>but it did what it needed to do and sped
<v Speaker 2>up and slow down and slowed down then sped up
<v Speaker 2>perfect pacing. The bumps, Holy crap. I it was uncomfortable
<v Speaker 2>and you knew it would be, and I was sad
<v Speaker 2>there was no blood. I really, I mean, I don't
<v Speaker 2>know how there was no blood with all the stuff
<v Speaker 2>they smashed off each other's faces and heads, which that
<v Speaker 2>was the one thing that I wish they did. Now
<v Speaker 2>I know why they didn't, because they saved it for
<v Speaker 2>the last segment to be more effective and dramatic. But
<v Speaker 2>if I was to somehow have my cake and eat
<v Speaker 2>it too, that's what I would have done, is add blood,
<v Speaker 2>because it was definitely warranted. But outside of that, this
<v Speaker 2>match just was brutal in an uncomfortable but engaging way.
<v Speaker 2>A car crash you can't look away from. You really
<v Speaker 2>were concerned, genuinely if you didn't feel genuine concern at
<v Speaker 2>any point during this twenty seven minute match, genuine concern.
<v Speaker 2>Not oh I like this character, I hope he beat
<v Speaker 2>him up, I hope he wins. No, I'm talking like
<v Speaker 2>on a human level beyond pro wrestling. If you watched
<v Speaker 2>this match and didn't have actual, genuine concern, you are
<v Speaker 2>a soulless person. You are a soulless human being. This
<v Speaker 2>was This was ecw but it wasn't random violence just
<v Speaker 2>for the sake of violence. It was all of it
<v Speaker 2>was intentional. All of it made sense. The multiple ring
<v Speaker 2>apron power bombs were just at the end of the match,
<v Speaker 2>you're thinking, my god, his body's already shattered. I mean,
<v Speaker 2>you're thinking concussion, you're thinking, you know, herniated disk, You're thinking,
<v Speaker 2>oh my god, and he does it multiple times. That
<v Speaker 2>was uncomfortable to watch, but that made sense. These tables
<v Speaker 2>stacked on top of each other, not that there's any
<v Speaker 2>story precedence to warrant tables specifically, but what they said
<v Speaker 2>they were going to do to each other. Doing that
<v Speaker 2>made sense. The barbed wire rap chair made sense. The
<v Speaker 2>Brainbusters through the chair made sense. That the Blue Thunder
<v Speaker 2>power bomb was a Blue Thunder. I feel like that's
<v Speaker 2>like a Blue Thunder. Am I mixing up Power Rangers
<v Speaker 2>and that Sammy's ain't the Blue Thunder. I think I'm
<v Speaker 2>saying it right, the Blue Thunder power Bomb.
<v Speaker 3>I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>Maybe I'm totally mixing up Power Rangers and Sammy's Am.
<v Speaker 2>But that power bomb he did on Kevin Owens on
<v Speaker 2>that barbed wire chair that was set up by two
<v Speaker 2>other chairs, and he just sat there. Oh my god,
<v Speaker 2>you saw the crowd reaction. There is no good way
<v Speaker 2>to take that bump without going I want to die.
<v Speaker 2>There's no way. Kevin Owens is still a human being.
<v Speaker 2>He's still made of flesh and blood like the rest
<v Speaker 2>of us. He may have a higher tolerance for pain,
<v Speaker 2>but the pain is the same. And I give them
<v Speaker 2>just a standing ovation, both Kevin and Sammy for what
<v Speaker 2>they did and what they put themselves through was incredible,
<v Speaker 2>just incredible. And yes, the Randy Orton returned that the
<v Speaker 2>fans got to give him a prettydamn good reaction. I
<v Speaker 2>love that. I think that was a lot of fun.
<v Speaker 2>You knew what he was gonna do. It was RKO.
<v Speaker 2>He waits us to the end of the match, which
<v Speaker 2>is fine too. Kevin owens his back. He's seeking revenge
<v Speaker 2>on Kevin, which he should do. And as I said,
<v Speaker 2>once he's done, he could align himself with Cody. He could.
<v Speaker 2>It makes sense. It makes sense that he's gonna align
<v Speaker 2>himself with Cody. Why well, when he was on SmackDown,
<v Speaker 2>they had a you know, they had several conversations with
<v Speaker 2>each other, and I think that's very possible.
<v Speaker 1>Now.
<v Speaker 2>Could Randy eventually turn on Cody? Absolutely, we could do
<v Speaker 2>that at SummerSlam. And we've got enough with Cody now.
<v Speaker 2>We don't need a Randy Orton Hill turn. As much
<v Speaker 2>as I would like it, it's too it's overwhelming, it
<v Speaker 2>would mix things up, muddy the water. It's not happening
<v Speaker 2>at least, as I said, maybe till towards SummerSlam if
<v Speaker 2>Cody's still champion. But that's another conversation for another day.
<v Speaker 2>This year was a RKO on Ko and then he
<v Speaker 2>went for the punt after he's decided not to use
<v Speaker 2>a chair, and that's when all of a sudden all
<v Speaker 2>at once, all the security guards decided to hold back.
<v Speaker 2>Randy Ko escapes and then Randy Orton goes r Ko
<v Speaker 2>Mania on the security guards, which is fun. It's fun.
<v Speaker 2>I like that stuff. Seeing the security guards get beat
<v Speaker 2>up is like a it's a favorite pastime of mine.
<v Speaker 2>It's a guilty pleasure. There's not ever any consequences for it.
<v Speaker 2>They're just there as rag dolls. It's always fun to
<v Speaker 2>watch the local talent dressed up as security guards get
<v Speaker 2>their ass kicked. I don't know what it is, it's
<v Speaker 2>just it's so much fun to watch just get that.
<v Speaker 2>Like they just they're in They get hired by WW
<v Speaker 2>for a night just to be ragdaled, and it's great.
<v Speaker 2>I love it so just like an incredible match. If
<v Speaker 2>I was to rank, and I'm not a big ranking guy,
<v Speaker 2>I don't really give rankings on five stars. This is
<v Speaker 2>like a four and a half out of five star match.
<v Speaker 2>The only half star missing is because of blood and
<v Speaker 2>that's not their fault, it's just circumstance. Incredible. Love it,
<v Speaker 2>and I love how they were given enough time. That's
<v Speaker 2>also probably a part in the pacing of the match.
<v Speaker 2>They knew they had time and this was deserving of it.
<v Speaker 2>I love this. The EMTs were legitimately probably concerned about
<v Speaker 2>both men given everything they did to their bodies. Just
<v Speaker 2>imagine waking up in their bodies tomorrow morning. I can't. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>I pull a muscle doing push ups the other day.
<v Speaker 2>You know, I'm not a big guy. I'm not a
<v Speaker 2>big stretch guy. Before warm up, before workouts, I just
<v Speaker 2>go right into it. I don't have time for that stuff.
<v Speaker 2>And you know, now, at forty years old, I go
<v Speaker 2>out and do a push up and like, ooh, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I feel a little muscle, kind of like pull a
<v Speaker 2>little bit. I get up the next morning, I'm like,
<v Speaker 2>oh right, it's like stubbing your toe versus cutting off
<v Speaker 2>your leg. That's the equivalent of what I experienced to
<v Speaker 2>what Ko and Sam you're probably waking up to. God,
<v Speaker 2>just incredible. All right, Stephanie McMahon has a talk show coming.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, mildly interested in that, I guess. And
<v Speaker 2>let's see, we had the men's elimination Chamber Punk Sena,
<v Speaker 2>Drew Logan, Damien Seth. This match, as you'd expect, didn't
<v Speaker 2>start with John Cena because you know, why would it
<v Speaker 2>You're gonna save the big guys for last, and it went.
<v Speaker 2>You know, John Cena, fifth Punk, sixth all made sense.
<v Speaker 2>This match also was brutal, it was well done. The
<v Speaker 2>moments that were that were created in this matchup were fun.
<v Speaker 2>You had old rivalries with Punk and Drew, you had
<v Speaker 2>Seth Punk, you had potential future rivalries with Punk and Sena.
<v Speaker 2>That's a fun match with Babyface Punk versus Heel Sena
<v Speaker 2>coming maybe Summer Slam on top of maybe Babyface Orton
<v Speaker 2>versus Heels John cenas John Seene has got a lot
<v Speaker 2>of people he can have a lot of fun with
<v Speaker 2>over the next nine months, so he better get the work.
<v Speaker 2>But this again, the moments between John Cena and CM
<v Speaker 2>Punk were fun because, as was told to us by
<v Speaker 2>Cole and Wade Barrett, Hey, you know these guys have
<v Speaker 2>a history. Money in the Bank twenty eleven, Chicago, All
<v Speaker 2>that I mean, just the history of between these two
<v Speaker 2>is well documented and it was fun to see and
<v Speaker 2>realize in real time. Oh my god, it's twenty twenty
<v Speaker 2>five and we're still seeing CM Punk take on John Cena. That's,
<v Speaker 2>as they say today, not on your bingo card. If
<v Speaker 2>you were back in twenty eleven, you wouldn't have been like,
<v Speaker 2>oh my god, in fourteen years, imagine if they're still
<v Speaker 2>fighting each other. Here we are, boy, just some crazy
<v Speaker 2>bumps here on the outside, off of the off of
<v Speaker 2>the pods, with Logan doings expected when he you know,
<v Speaker 2>everything he did was just It was great. The crowd
<v Speaker 2>all over Logan, Paul, the tossing of John Cena through
<v Speaker 2>the plexiglass of the pod was great. This match lasted
<v Speaker 2>thirty two minutes and forty seconds. All of the crazy
<v Speaker 2>kickouts from Punk though a little excessive, I mean he's
<v Speaker 2>a little excessive. I mean he kicked out of like
<v Speaker 2>six finishes and I'm not gonna get used to it.
<v Speaker 2>I refuse to get used to that. But you knew
<v Speaker 2>he was done when he got hit with two finishes
<v Speaker 2>because Seth was you know, eliminated sore loser stomp by
<v Speaker 2>Seth on Punk which led to the gts. And that
<v Speaker 2>also was a clue when I saw Sena take advantage
<v Speaker 2>of that, I said, that's not how John Cena wins.
<v Speaker 2>That's not how John Cena wins. He's not, you know,
<v Speaker 2>he doesn't take advantage of people helping him, especially against
<v Speaker 2>the big baby face that never happens, so that should
<v Speaker 2>also been another clue. And John Cena ends up winning,
<v Speaker 2>crowd loves it, crowd loves it, and here comes the
<v Speaker 2>American Nightmare. Now, I know there's a lot of spots
<v Speaker 2>in that match I didn't cover. I don't have the
<v Speaker 2>time to go through all the spots that were done.
<v Speaker 2>A lot of great near falls. I understand that, a
<v Speaker 2>lot of reversals into reversals into reversals of reversals, and
<v Speaker 2>it was all great. Just so I don't have time
<v Speaker 2>to go through the nitty gritty of that. But after
<v Speaker 2>the match, as we know, with the winner of John
<v Speaker 2>Cena there and having The Rock and Cody Rhodes come out,
<v Speaker 2>it was great. The Rock has always takes his sweet
<v Speaker 2>ass time, and then we have Travis Scott. For some
<v Speaker 2>ungodly reason, it's he felt like a fan that was
<v Speaker 2>jumped through the crowd that has no business being there
<v Speaker 2>with a championship that he overpaid for at the merch
<v Speaker 2>stand where he's a third or a quarter of the
<v Speaker 2>size of the Rock, felt extremely out of place. I
<v Speaker 2>understand many of you maybe Travis Scott fans music fans,
<v Speaker 2>and that's fine. I don't know a damn bit of
<v Speaker 2>his music. I know, I know he's a musician. I
<v Speaker 2>say that very lightly. Of course, it's not my cup
<v Speaker 2>of tea. Okay, just like the music I listened to.
<v Speaker 2>I'm sure many of you would be like, oh my god,
<v Speaker 2>that's horrible. But it's all just preference. Music is reference
<v Speaker 2>entertainment's preference. My point is, especially since I don't know
<v Speaker 2>or don't care for the kind of music he makes
<v Speaker 2>at all, like at all, and the fact that he
<v Speaker 2>looked like a clown with the rock and he felt like,
<v Speaker 2>it's just like, why is he here? Get him off
<v Speaker 2>my screen. This is not about you at all. Why
<v Speaker 2>are you here? Get out of here? Leave. You know,
<v Speaker 2>he was just an annoyance to my eyes. So that said,
<v Speaker 2>he comes in and I just know I'd spent twenty
<v Speaker 2>minutes at the beginning of the show talking about this,
<v Speaker 2>so I won't break it down. But Travis Scott in
<v Speaker 2>there standing in the corner of the ring with his
<v Speaker 2>you know, pretend championship belt whatever. He's standing there, and
<v Speaker 2>he's there, which was ridiculous. But with Cody Road saying
<v Speaker 2>f you, the one criticism that I could make on
<v Speaker 2>that is there was too long of a gap between
<v Speaker 2>him saying that and then the next part of the segment.
<v Speaker 2>The fans were like okay, oh, and then we sat
<v Speaker 2>there for like a minute and we're like, anyone ain't
<v Speaker 2>gonna do anything, no, bueller nothing. So that was the
<v Speaker 2>one small Again. I'm just splitting hairs at this point
<v Speaker 2>because the rock just stood there. I'm like, all right,
<v Speaker 2>what are you gonna say? What are you gonna do?
<v Speaker 2>And John Cena reacted and that's when the handshake and
<v Speaker 2>the nutshot happened and all that. But John Cena. Have
<v Speaker 2>you ever seen John Cena make that face? When he
<v Speaker 2>made that face, I go, oh, here we go right,
<v Speaker 2>and the rock slit the throat, boom boom. We already
<v Speaker 2>talked about it. So this, as I've said, is just incredible.
<v Speaker 2>This uh you know, maybe maybe John Cena can get
<v Speaker 2>his bald spot fixed before WrestleMania. At this point though,
<v Speaker 2>I don't think he cares. He's just letting nature take
<v Speaker 2>its course. I just gave up and shaved my head.
<v Speaker 2>I didn't even try. I just said, ef it, it's done.
<v Speaker 2>It's done right. I'm not gonna spend ten thousand dollars
<v Speaker 2>on hair implants. I just said ef it, but John
<v Speaker 2>Cena also maybe could get a spray tan that could help.

<v Speaker 2>there's shamous white. He approached, he took these shamous tanning instructions.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, it looks like he hasn't seen a uv

<v Speaker 2>at Money in the Bank in Chicago. Because I'm looking

<v Speaker 2>they're you know, we're just they hopped off the beach
<v Speaker 2>ten minutes ago, and you are forty eight shades lighter,

<v Speaker 2>Look it looks it looks like you, you know, you
<v Speaker 2>rolled off of a you know, out of a hospital room.
<v Speaker 2>You were just in an IV drip, you've been laying
<v Speaker 2>there for weeks. I don't know. He looked like he
<v Speaker 2>was sick. That's how much of a difference in skin color.

<v Speaker 2>little bit. I'm not asking him to go full dark.

<v Speaker 2>the sun for four weeks. I just like a spray
<v Speaker 2>tan something just a few shades darker. It's just my
<v Speaker 2>personal preference on that. But anyway, an incredible pl E,
<v Speaker 2>an incredible pl and they struck with John Cena when
<v Speaker 2>most people, not everybody, but most people expected that he
<v Speaker 2>would not ever turn heel, but have changed and they
<v Speaker 2>have delivered and delivered in a big way for this
<v Speaker 2>pl E. That'll hold us over easily to WrestleMania, and
<v Speaker 2>in between they'll have some big matches on Raw and
<v Speaker 2>smack Down. Donald think there's any Saturday Night Man events
<v Speaker 2>in between now and then, they could always change that,
<v Speaker 2>but if there's not, there's still enough to do, especially
<v Speaker 2>given the fact that The Rock and John Cena are
<v Speaker 2>going to be out of the seven weeks of television,
<v Speaker 2>they're probably going to be at the next three, you know,
<v Speaker 2>so that makes it a little easier to navigate because
<v Speaker 2>you don't have to have them do something every single
<v Speaker 2>week because they're not going to be there every single week.
<v Speaker 2>It's also surprising the absence of Charlotte Flyers, I said,
<v Speaker 2>but also the absence of Roman Reigns. He didn't screw Seth.
<v Speaker 2>He didn't have anything to do with Seth. So where
<v Speaker 2>does he land in all this? Perhaps perhaps instead of
<v Speaker 2>Randy Orton teaming with Cody, it's Roman and teaming with
<v Speaker 2>Cody to help out that. Actually, that to me would
<v Speaker 2>make more sense in the introm because I don't know
<v Speaker 2>how long this Ko Randy Orton program is gonna last,
<v Speaker 2>but it's overlapping with Cody needing a partner, so Randy
<v Speaker 2>can't do double duty. Roman makes the most sense. The
<v Speaker 2>only problem with that is he's gonna just let Seth
<v Speaker 2>Rollins get away with murder of what he did to
<v Speaker 2>him at the World Rumble. At least that's how it
<v Speaker 2>seems for the moment. So there's a lot of chess
<v Speaker 2>pieces starting to fall into place. They're not all there yet,
<v Speaker 2>they're not all there yet, but we got some big
