<v Speaker 1>Welcome on into the Non Tender podcast.
<v Speaker 2>Welcome in, Welcome, and welcome in.
<v Speaker 1>I almost was going to say, don't say anything for
<v Speaker 1>a while so we can pretend again, just because every
<v Speaker 1>time you're not here for a couple of weeks, it's
<v Speaker 1>just I just I want to It's like the same
<v Speaker 1>joke with the reoccurrence and get some.
<v Speaker 2>People going gets a wild again.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I was telling you I sort of comment on
<v Speaker 1>one of the recent ones that said suspicious hand wasn't
<v Speaker 1>at the baby shower, like you just buy it from
<v Speaker 1>my life.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, exactly, like I don't have my own ship going on.
<v Speaker 1>In the world.
<v Speaker 2>You know.
<v Speaker 1>It was a shame you want there. We didn't talk,
<v Speaker 1>I know, but you had you had work less.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I had things I had to do for sure.
<v Speaker 1>But you'll you'll, you'll be there at the birth. I
<v Speaker 1>am I invited to that. No, but no you're not.
<v Speaker 1>And here's why you're not. Here's why nobody is. Because
<v Speaker 1>I was invited too. I am my god kids uh birth. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>my friend Billy and his wife had their kid and
<v Speaker 1>I went to go see them the hospital and I
<v Speaker 1>walked in like just after he was born, Like and
<v Speaker 1>when I say, just after I mean immediately after, right,
<v Speaker 1>and so there was like compromising positions.
<v Speaker 2>I will I will say that an invitation to a
<v Speaker 2>birth is like a lot.
<v Speaker 1>You know so well. I mean we were very close,
<v Speaker 1>but it was a scene I walked in. I was like,
<v Speaker 1>I shouldn't be here. I shouldn't be here, right, I
<v Speaker 1>don't know why I'm here? Hey, you know what else
<v Speaker 1>is the scene?
<v Speaker 2>Would what.
<v Speaker 1>The episode three? By the way, before we got too
<v Speaker 1>far away from ourselves. No, I appreciate it. Weather is
<v Speaker 1>getting nice. We had like a seventy degree day the
<v Speaker 1>other day. I took my new car out for a
<v Speaker 1>drive with Kim.
<v Speaker 2>I would still like to take a drive in it.
<v Speaker 1>We will you today today. Today we gotta go get
<v Speaker 1>ze Blade actually from games. So after this episode, him
<v Speaker 1>and I'm going to drive the game stock and also
<v Speaker 1>apparently I don't want to talk about it. What we're eating?
<v Speaker 1>And why sure? I said to him, and we getting
<v Speaker 1>We get in the hot, hot Nashville chicken shop and
<v Speaker 1>I got slapped in the face with I'm on the.
<v Speaker 2>Grind, I'm slendering, I'm watching my girls. I lost seventeen pounds.
<v Speaker 1>I'm so proud. I had no idea this was happening.
<v Speaker 2>I'm trying my best.
<v Speaker 1>I have tried to get you to do this since
<v Speaker 1>really i've known you, and you've always been so hesitant.
<v Speaker 2>You just don't know. You haven't been trying to get
<v Speaker 2>me to do like, no, listen, what you've been trying
<v Speaker 2>to do is get me. You've been saying we should
<v Speaker 2>we should work out together. That's not that's kind of
<v Speaker 2>how you say. And I just like, and I'm just like,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know, I don't know if I really want
<v Speaker 2>to like work out, because like what you seem to
<v Speaker 2>be doing in there seems like a whole lot.
<v Speaker 1>But I would take you, I would put the baby
<v Speaker 1>wheels on for you. I wouldn't take you on like it.
<v Speaker 1>And here's why. My friend Super Derek it was in
<v Speaker 1>a similar position to you at one point, right. I
<v Speaker 1>took him to the gym once and tried to put
<v Speaker 1>I didn't even really push him that hard, but I
<v Speaker 1>was trying to get him to do what I do
<v Speaker 1>and he ended up having some kind of liver failure
<v Speaker 1>from essentially just sitting down at a desk and being
<v Speaker 1>overweight his whole life to trying to push his body
<v Speaker 1>too far his body couldn't process the breakdown of whatever
<v Speaker 1>was happening inside him with like muscles like break apart.
<v Speaker 1>For the first time. He had to go to the
<v Speaker 1>hospital and he was on an IV for like two
<v Speaker 1>or three days. So I would feel terrible. I felt terrible.
<v Speaker 1>So I've learned my lesson, and now you would be
<v Speaker 1>walking on a treadmill at most.
<v Speaker 2>Well that's what I'm doing now. I do that. And actually,
<v Speaker 2>I mean he said it was seventy degree day out,
<v Speaker 2>you know. I was walking around the park, you know,
<v Speaker 2>and it was just nice. It's nice to be outside.
<v Speaker 2>And it does a lot for my mental health too,
<v Speaker 2>much more than I anticipated. It's like nobody told me
<v Speaker 2>that you go for a walk and it's going to
<v Speaker 2>fix your brain.
<v Speaker 1>Oh god, dude, I have. I swear I have. This
<v Speaker 1>is what I've been trying to tell Kim too, because
<v Speaker 1>Kim does not manage to ever bring herself to do
<v Speaker 1>any kind of fitness, which up until which isn't her
<v Speaker 1>fault because she's pregnant. It's never been an issue because
<v Speaker 1>her metabolism is insane. But I keep telling her for
<v Speaker 1>your mental health, like go for a walk, you'll feel amazing.
<v Speaker 1>People don't realize.
<v Speaker 2>People don't realize how much taking a drink of water,
<v Speaker 2>going going for a walk right does for your mental health.
<v Speaker 1>And I can, I can so many terrible It's not
<v Speaker 1>even like there's so many elements to it. Let me
<v Speaker 1>get preachy. It's part one. It's the fact that you're
<v Speaker 1>doing something to self improve. It's the mental like reset
<v Speaker 1>of I'm actually doing something. I'm setting goals and I'm
<v Speaker 1>hitting them. That's one. That's number two. It's actually moving
<v Speaker 1>your body and getting endorphins going and getting your body
<v Speaker 1>like warmed up. It makes you feel better. It like
<v Speaker 1>pushes out negative toxins and all that crap. Number three
<v Speaker 1>literally just vitamin D getting sun and like absorbing it
<v Speaker 1>into your skin makes you feel happier.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I take vitamin D supplements because told me that
<v Speaker 2>that I've been my vitamin D was dangerously low because
<v Speaker 2>I just never go outside. But what you're saying about
<v Speaker 2>the goals and stuff, it is very true because like
<v Speaker 2>like two things I mentioned this on street on my
<v Speaker 2>stream the other day because I'm a streamer apparently, was that,
<v Speaker 2>I uh, part of like me going out and walking
<v Speaker 2>either at the gym or outside, is that like when
<v Speaker 2>I'll be walking at the gym, I take a picture
<v Speaker 2>of the treadmill every time, so I know that I'm
<v Speaker 2>walking further every single time that I do it in
<v Speaker 2>the same amount of time, which is good. Right. And
<v Speaker 2>then when I'm at the park, I'm walking further around
<v Speaker 2>the park every time that I do it, which is
<v Speaker 2>also good. And then I've the notice that i've the
<v Speaker 2>notice and change I have at home is that when
<v Speaker 2>I go, when I spray my hair, because it's so
<v Speaker 2>beautiful the way that it is, and I hold my
<v Speaker 2>breath to do so I don't feel like I'm gonna
<v Speaker 2>FAINTI do it.
<v Speaker 1>My God, there you go. You're doing great. Yeah, And
<v Speaker 1>now I need you to commit to this because now
<v Speaker 1>that we talked.
<v Speaker 2>About it, I'm here for it. I'm here for the.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, we got it in a year from now. We
<v Speaker 1>eat it before and after.
<v Speaker 2>I'm fine with that. And also I am fine with
<v Speaker 2>working out with if you want to do a workout
<v Speaker 2>at some point, I'm happy to do it. Yeah, but
<v Speaker 2>let's do it like after I get back from Japan
<v Speaker 2>and all that stuff. You know what I mean?
<v Speaker 1>That Japan will help you too with all the walking,
<v Speaker 1>although the food will counteract it. But if you come
<v Speaker 1>and stay after an episode, we can work out in
<v Speaker 1>the morning before you leave.
<v Speaker 2>True, Yeah, I can be down, all right, We need it.
<v Speaker 1>We need to move on.
<v Speaker 2>This is not this is a gaming podcast.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. I got yelled at last week for talking about
<v Speaker 1>my baby, although to be fair, all the comments on
<v Speaker 1>the episode were like very nice about wanting to hear
<v Speaker 1>about the baby. There's no other improvements. Kim her back's
<v Speaker 1>on fire, so she's taking the day thankfully. Hams here
<v Speaker 1>so I'm not alone. The only thing I want to
<v Speaker 1>say is I had a funny thought today. Kim and
<v Speaker 1>I have been sharing each other so many cute like
<v Speaker 1>toddler and baby videos and Instagram reels and tiktoks that
<v Speaker 1>our feeds are now all like baby stuff that'll happen,
<v Speaker 1>which is very cute and very fun. And I messaged
<v Speaker 1>Kim today and I'm like, I hope we're not putting
<v Speaker 1>unrealistic expectations on our baby to be this funny because
<v Speaker 1>every clip the babies are hilarious and they're doing such awesome,
<v Speaker 1>like wholesome cute things. What if we get our baby
<v Speaker 1>and he's just like botting a stoic he's just a kid,
<v Speaker 1>just an adult baby, and we keep filming him like
<v Speaker 1>do something funny.
<v Speaker 2>Comes out in a suit? You know.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, he's all business boss baby baby for sure. All
<v Speaker 1>right enough Jesus Nintendo, all right, let's talk. So today's
<v Speaker 1>topic is all about a lot of things. Actually, I
<v Speaker 1>got some things in the dock, some fun things. But
<v Speaker 1>let's just start with what the title is, which is
<v Speaker 1>can we get is it possible? Can we entertain the
<v Speaker 1>concept of themes on this new Nintendo Switch.
<v Speaker 2>I'm here to entertain it all day.
<v Speaker 1>Now, I know you're a big fan. Now this is
<v Speaker 1>something I would already have had a conversation about. But
<v Speaker 1>we have another really really fun I'm loving all of
<v Speaker 1>these fan mock up trailers. I don't know when, like
<v Speaker 1>just people got so good at designing corporate trailers because
<v Speaker 1>they all look so realistic. And here's another one if
<v Speaker 1>you want to cut over this is let me get
<v Speaker 1>the username Noah about introducing Swiss OS two point zero,
<v Speaker 1>complete with like music and sounds and swishes and swooshes.
<v Speaker 2>It's very well done.
<v Speaker 1>It's so well atomated it looks official. So it's his
<v Speaker 1>concept essentially for what themes could look like, which is essentially,
<v Speaker 1>to be honest, the concept I think we've all had
<v Speaker 1>in mind. Yeah, and a lot of just the static
<v Speaker 1>jpeg concepts that people buck up sometimes. I really like this.
<v Speaker 1>I like the idea of being able to almost Mario
<v Speaker 1>paint your your own Mario theme kind of like decide
<v Speaker 1>where you want to put clouds or a Yeah, it's
<v Speaker 1>really sick. Yeah. It also is in deviating too far
<v Speaker 1>away from the current theme. Yeah.
<v Speaker 2>I mean I'm happy as long as long as there's
<v Speaker 2>a dark theme, you know, I like a dark theme for.
<v Speaker 1>Everything, well for the current one. Yeah, but I'm just saying,
<v Speaker 1>you know, that's your onet, what's already there.
<v Speaker 2>I mean I don't I don't dislike what we already have.
<v Speaker 1>I mean what we have is fine. Yeah, I think people,
<v Speaker 1>I think here's what. Here's what themes do for a
<v Speaker 1>console like this that Nintendo I feel like missed out
<v Speaker 1>on this generation is the switch is such a personal
<v Speaker 1>device to people. It's why people get so attached to
<v Speaker 1>it because it's mobile, because you it can like it's
<v Speaker 1>attached to your hip. Essentially, you can take it to bed, tickets,
<v Speaker 1>to the toilet, take it out of the house, take
<v Speaker 1>it on a train ticket, on an airplane ticket to
<v Speaker 1>another country. It comes with you like a phone. So
<v Speaker 1>it's very much an accessory at that point. And everyone
<v Speaker 1>likes to customize their accessories, you know, whether it's your
<v Speaker 1>mobile phone, you change your home screen, you put a
<v Speaker 1>picture of your dog or your wife or your husband,
<v Speaker 1>or your crush or whatever as the crush the home screen.
<v Speaker 1>You know, it's a very forward move that well, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I mean imagine that though, like your crush season. They
<v Speaker 1>don't know and then why am I on your phone background?
<v Speaker 1>But then that speaks that's the conversation. Oh yeah, unless
<v Speaker 1>they don't like them. Ah, it's not default into that.
<v Speaker 2>Nobody likes.
<v Speaker 1>It's that thing where it's creepy if they're not perceived
<v Speaker 1>as hot, but if they're hot, it's attractive.
<v Speaker 2>True. Um.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, everyone wants to personalize the thing they have attached
<v Speaker 1>to their hip, right and for a lot of us,
<v Speaker 1>the switch was that, so not being able to customize
<v Speaker 1>it was a little frustrating. Yeah, having to take this
<v Speaker 1>blank white screen around with us, or dark theme screen
<v Speaker 1>in Ham's case, everywhere that we go and not being
<v Speaker 1>able to adjust it, especially coming off of the three
<v Speaker 1>DS which had a pretty robust customizational home screen. I
<v Speaker 1>think there was a theme shop. Actually I chat gpted
<v Speaker 1>this because I forgot, but there was a theme shop.
<v Speaker 1>You could download themes for for like all your favorite games,
<v Speaker 1>and you could customize your home screen, and that felt personalized,
<v Speaker 1>it felt unique. I'm really not sure why Nintendo didn't
<v Speaker 1>do this and leaned away from this with the Switch,
<v Speaker 1>because it would just make you feel even more connected
<v Speaker 1>to the device that you're already connected to, make make
<v Speaker 1>it feel more personal, make me, make me want to
<v Speaker 1>use it more rather than something else, right, or even
<v Speaker 1>like get that satisfaction of customizing somewhere else, Like you know,
<v Speaker 1>this is pretty.
<v Speaker 2>On your phone.
<v Speaker 1>My phone started playing the podcast. You guys probably didn't
<v Speaker 1>hear that. It was just off to my left. What
<v Speaker 1>was I saying? Pretty extreme, But some people would buy
<v Speaker 1>like little handheiled Retroy devices or even like the Rock
<v Speaker 1>Ally and they would throw like custom boot software on
<v Speaker 1>there to make it look like the Switch home screen,
<v Speaker 1>but they would try customizing it. It's like all these
<v Speaker 1>lengths people go to.
<v Speaker 2>If you were like make some custom background for like
<v Speaker 2>the Enbernik r G thirty five xx that was like
<v Speaker 2>based on like my hand radio streams that I do
<v Speaker 2>so mm hmmm, mm hmmm.
<v Speaker 1>Sorry, I'm listening. I'm trying to be enthusiastic today.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, well, we'll know more about the theme when the
<v Speaker 2>switch comes. The switch thing happens in how many days? Ah,
<v Speaker 2>that was really quiet.
<v Speaker 1>To cranker do it again. I love it.
<v Speaker 2>I'll turn it up at this time.
<v Speaker 1>But thirteen days, that's actually insane.
<v Speaker 2>It's less than two weeks.
<v Speaker 1>It is one day less than two weeks.
<v Speaker 2>Really wild.
<v Speaker 1>That is crazy. Also, that means in fifteen days I'll
<v Speaker 1>be going to New York to do the hands on preview.
<v Speaker 1>So it's that's so crazy to think about. In thirteen
<v Speaker 1>days we'll see it and everything. In fifteen days, i'll
<v Speaker 1>be able to touch it. Yeah, I'll be holding I'll
<v Speaker 1>be one of the first people in the world actually
<v Speaker 1>on the first day of the first hands on preview.
<v Speaker 2>Very exciting.
<v Speaker 1>The only people that will beat me is the people
<v Speaker 1>in Group A because I picked Group B, which means
<v Speaker 1>I'm going in the afternoon and there's a Group A
<v Speaker 1>going in the morning. And I sent over the bondus
<v Speaker 1>QR code that a fan of the show, God what
<v Speaker 1>was his name? Let me give him a shout out here. Actually,
<v Speaker 1>I was messaging him yesterday to make sure he was
<v Speaker 1>still okay with me using it. Maybe should I say
<v Speaker 1>his name? I don't know. When Nintendo get mad at him,
<v Speaker 1>I'll thank him after.
<v Speaker 2>What are you? What are they offering you? What are
<v Speaker 2>they giving you?
<v Speaker 1>He gave me a QR code to get into the event.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, I thought you got that on your own. I
<v Speaker 2>thought you had.
<v Speaker 1>No, I got one.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>And then bizarrely, this guy who lives on the other
<v Speaker 1>side of the world in Europe also applied for the
<v Speaker 1>New York event on the same day in the same session,
<v Speaker 1>got accepted, decided he didn't want to go, and gave
<v Speaker 1>me his QR code.
<v Speaker 2>So who's going to get that? Okay, yeah, I can't
<v Speaker 2>go anyways, So well, I'm not offended.
<v Speaker 1>That if I could get multiple you would be the
<v Speaker 1>next person because Kim can't travel also. But my first
<v Speaker 1>thought when I got this code was if if if
<v Speaker 1>it was the other way around and I couldn't get
<v Speaker 1>in and Bob got one and he had one extra code,
<v Speaker 1>I would hope and pray he would offer it to
<v Speaker 1>me and not like a cameraman or someone else. To
<v Speaker 1>come in because we can film for each other. So
<v Speaker 1>my first thought was, I need to get my boy in.
<v Speaker 1>I need to make sure that he's also getting a
<v Speaker 1>chance to touch this and film this and clip that
<v Speaker 1>out of context. So we're gonna we're gonna double joint this.
<v Speaker 1>We're gonna go in together, same time, same session, Me
<v Speaker 1>and Bob. Actually quite unbelievable that that happened, and a
<v Speaker 1>big thank you. I want to thank this person, but
<v Speaker 1>I'm gonna wait until I'm gonna say his name after
<v Speaker 1>I've been in, after we've both been in, so the
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo doesn't figure it out and shut down that code
<v Speaker 1>or something. I'm just so paranoid.
<v Speaker 2>I feel you've already said a lot.
<v Speaker 1>I know, I know so, and hopefully it even works.
<v Speaker 1>Hopefully it even works, and that the one I'm not
<v Speaker 1>being trolled, which it doesn't seem like I am. This
<v Speaker 1>guy's very nice, and two that there's not some stipulation
<v Speaker 1>where you need ID or something along with the code, right,
<v Speaker 1>you know. But I told Bob, I was like, I
<v Speaker 1>think this will work, not one hundred percent, and he's like, hey,
<v Speaker 1>if it doesn't work, we'll get dinner in Manhattan. I
<v Speaker 1>was like, okay, cool, fair, So I.
<v Speaker 2>Could just use your footage and then edit his hands
<v Speaker 2>into it.
<v Speaker 1>Hey, he can have the footage if he wants it
<v Speaker 1>if he can't get in. But I think we'll be good.
<v Speaker 1>I think we'll both be able to get in, which
<v Speaker 1>is cool because then we can both film for each other.
<v Speaker 1>We can take turns with the switch to in fifteen days.
<v Speaker 1>That's so exciting, dude, I'm really stoked. I'm really excited.
<v Speaker 1>And then obviously a couple of days before that, we're
<v Speaker 1>hopefully going to see more special features. I don't know
<v Speaker 1>if we'll find out anything about any kind of like
<v Speaker 1>me Verst Street Pass, other like weird software gimmicks or
<v Speaker 1>hardware gimmicks, or even look at like launch lineup, but
<v Speaker 1>we might. We might see a launch lineup in thirteen days.
<v Speaker 1>We might know what when it's launching. For one, we
<v Speaker 1>need a date of the actual console lunch and the
<v Speaker 1>games that's launching with, and a deeper look at Mario cap.
<v Speaker 1>I'm actually getting really excited for Mario Cup.
<v Speaker 2>I'm so excited for Mario Kart, going to be sick,
<v Speaker 2>big fan of Mario Kart. Did you see the new
<v Speaker 2>Mario Car merch stuff that they're selling up the well.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, okay, but yeah it's soon to me yea yea yeah, yeah,
<v Speaker 1>no I can. I don't know if I have that
<v Speaker 1>duck pointed. No, that's uh the Mariocott merch is sick.
<v Speaker 1>But that's been there for a minute. I thought it
<v Speaker 1>was funny when they shared that. I was like, that's
<v Speaker 1>gonna it's gonna seem like they just did that. But
<v Speaker 1>no they they are you going to get a jacket.
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna have to slim down a.
<v Speaker 1>Bit, probably, sure they have their size. I don't know, man,
<v Speaker 1>Mario catt an tender store h shut jacket.
<v Speaker 2>Like you're talking about like the bomber jacket, right, like, yeah,
<v Speaker 2>here it is?
<v Speaker 3>This?
<v Speaker 1>Is it?
<v Speaker 2>Right? Uh? Yeah? Is that a jack? Is it like
<v Speaker 2>a bar like a windbreaker?
<v Speaker 1>Or is it like it's like it's like what they
<v Speaker 1>wear in the right in the racing in the racing
<v Speaker 1>cart in the in the like.
<v Speaker 2>I can't tell. I can't tell if it's more of
<v Speaker 2>a windbreaker or like an actual like you know what
<v Speaker 2>I mean, like the material.
<v Speaker 1>I think it's I have no idea, like is it
<v Speaker 1>just a zipper hoodie? Wait here we go. This is
<v Speaker 1>maybe this picture here you can fabric I don't know
<v Speaker 1>what it's like what they wear when they what's the Nascar, right,
<v Speaker 1>that's what it's called Nascar. Yeah, I mean it's cool.
<v Speaker 1>Every time I've seen it in the store, though I've
<v Speaker 1>kind of been like in one hundred bucks, it's not
<v Speaker 1>that cool.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't think I.
<v Speaker 1>I think if it was more like tattered out with badges,
<v Speaker 1>I'd be more interested. It's almost too conservative.
<v Speaker 2>Like if they if they went super nuts and like
<v Speaker 2>so many like like faux like like sponsor brands and stuff,
<v Speaker 2>you know, which I think is something that would be
<v Speaker 2>more like based on what we saw in the the
<v Speaker 2>Switch to reveal, right, like from the the Mario car footage,
<v Speaker 2>like there's probably a lot of things that probably would
<v Speaker 2>be able to be shown as like.
<v Speaker 1>Maybe they'll do another one another one. Zip you see
<v Speaker 1>this with all the little that's yeah, pretty sick. Yeah anyway,
<v Speaker 1>any who, any who?
<v Speaker 2>I like it. I like it?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, uh me too, Oh me too. These are these themes.
<v Speaker 1>Let's go back to these themes. I got a little
<v Speaker 1>distracted by how soon that event is?
<v Speaker 2>The it coming so soon soon? I was gonna say that,
<v Speaker 2>but yeah, no, it's like it's exciting for you and
<v Speaker 2>for the channel and for for the podcast and everything
<v Speaker 2>like that.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, the weeks go by so quickly. I feel
<v Speaker 1>like I'm always sight here doing the podcast and next episode,
<v Speaker 1>when that doom comes up, it'll say.
<v Speaker 2>Six days, six days remaining.
<v Speaker 1>Which I'm now realizing that's going to be tight. So
<v Speaker 1>I'm guessing that means it's Wednesday. So Wednesday will be
<v Speaker 1>the event, the direct and then I will react to
<v Speaker 1>the event on my channel live and then make a video.
<v Speaker 1>Then on Thursday, you'll probably come here and we'll do episode. No,
<v Speaker 1>you won't be here on Thursday. Me and Kim will
<v Speaker 1>be here reacting. Where will you be?
<v Speaker 2>I I don't I don't want to be specific about
<v Speaker 2>my travel days.
<v Speaker 1>On Thursday, Kim and I will be here reacting to
<v Speaker 1>the event, and then on Friday, I'll be driving up
<v Speaker 1>to New York to touch it, and then Friday night
<v Speaker 1>I'll probably come back and film my thoughts on touching
<v Speaker 1>it and try and get that video edited up and
<v Speaker 1>put up the next day on Saturday.
<v Speaker 2>That's a busy four days, yeah.
<v Speaker 1>The type four days very tight for I actually had
<v Speaker 1>I'm going to talk about this because I don't know why.
<v Speaker 1>I'm just talking. I had a sponsor, Yeah, keep talking ahead.
<v Speaker 1>I had a sponsor reach out. They do like switch accessories,
<v Speaker 1>and they're doing a switch to accessory. Oh is it
<v Speaker 1>sat on the power? You're saying that? But was I
<v Speaker 1>vibrating this whole time?
<v Speaker 2>A little bit?
<v Speaker 1>Got it?
<v Speaker 2>But it's okay.
<v Speaker 1>We forgot to check that.
<v Speaker 2>It's okay. It was. It was barely noticeable.
<v Speaker 1>I had a sponsor reach out and they how's the
<v Speaker 1>audio sound? Chat? Let me bring up chat.
<v Speaker 2>It sounds good now. There was the volume on your
<v Speaker 2>video was too loud before, so I've adjusted for the
<v Speaker 2>next thing. Whatever it is.
<v Speaker 1>What's Chat saying about.
<v Speaker 2>Well, they haven't complained. And in the business that I'm in,
<v Speaker 2>if nobody's complaining, then you're doing a good job.
<v Speaker 1>So I'm bringing up chat just to make sure. Oh
<v Speaker 1>I look good right now? Sorry I don't look good.
<v Speaker 1>My lighting looks good?
<v Speaker 2>Right now? You do look good? No, you look good? Okay,
<v Speaker 2>I look okay, and I look good. Look we both
<v Speaker 2>look good.
<v Speaker 1>My head looks greasy.
<v Speaker 2>Oh stop it.
<v Speaker 1>The video was too loud.
<v Speaker 2>Uh yeah, well I just I just said that and
<v Speaker 2>I already told you I had.
<v Speaker 1>A sponsor reach out, and they were like, we really
<v Speaker 1>want to be on your Nintendo Direct reaction video. Oh yeah,
<v Speaker 1>And I was like, that makes sense because when I
<v Speaker 1>reacted to the two minute and twenty two second thing
<v Speaker 1>that has like seven hundred thousand yeah, I was on trending,
<v Speaker 1>But that makes sense. But I don't really like putting
<v Speaker 1>sponsors on those videos because I kind of want to
<v Speaker 1>keep it to like the excitement. And they were like,
<v Speaker 1>what if we paid you this much money? And I
<v Speaker 1>was like that's insane. All right, I'll figure it out then.
<v Speaker 1>And by the way, it was so it was a lot.
<v Speaker 1>It was a lot. It was double my usual rates.
<v Speaker 2>Someone's going to find a way to be upset about that,
<v Speaker 2>but it doesn't matter.
<v Speaker 1>Well, let me finish the thought, because in my head,
<v Speaker 1>I was like, well, you're making a switch to accessory.
<v Speaker 1>I'm essentially getting to reveal that accessory here in a
<v Speaker 1>switch to the reaction. And also I'm having a baby, like,
<v Speaker 1>no one's going to be upset that I took a
<v Speaker 1>sponsor right now, I feel. And then as soon as
<v Speaker 1>I said yes, like a couple of weeks went by
<v Speaker 1>and I didn't hear from them, and I was like,
<v Speaker 1>are we doing this? And then my management is like,
<v Speaker 1>they're fighting us on the price, they're trying to get
<v Speaker 1>it lower.
<v Speaker 3>You're the one that what You're the one that said high.
<v Speaker 1>So I don't think it's I don't think it's happening.
<v Speaker 1>I think they backed out. They were like, oh, we
<v Speaker 1>didn't know you'd say yes, I sucked. I was really
<v Speaker 1>excited for that. Anyway, themes. Sorry, I'm all over the
<v Speaker 1>place speaking of themes. What's the theme of the episode? Themes?
<v Speaker 1>I don't really know where we left off. I'm so
<v Speaker 1>scatterbrain because I'm so excited. Yeah, will they do themes? So,
<v Speaker 1>I think this time around, especially because with the switch
<v Speaker 1>to they're trying to convince people to upgrade, they're trying
<v Speaker 1>to convince people to buy it. They're trying to make
<v Speaker 1>it stand out. They're trying to make it obvious that
<v Speaker 1>it's different. I think they're going to want to do
<v Speaker 1>a lot of things that they've been holding off from
<v Speaker 1>doing that we've been asking. So I actually think it is,
<v Speaker 1>in my opinion, more likely than not that we'll get
<v Speaker 1>a lot of these things we've been asking for, like
<v Speaker 1>themes because it's such a simple thing to do, and
<v Speaker 1>when you think about it, if they handle it the
<v Speaker 1>same way they did for the three DS and they
<v Speaker 1>create like a theme shop where you have to buy
<v Speaker 1>and download themes, they stand to make money from something
<v Speaker 1>as simple as themes, something as simple as customizing your switch.
<v Speaker 2>I agree.
<v Speaker 1>It was so missing from the Switch one that I
<v Speaker 1>almost wonder if certain things like this were a tactic
<v Speaker 1>the whole time. Yeah, like eight years without it to
<v Speaker 1>then give it to us on the new thing, to
<v Speaker 1>make everybody want the new thing or to find the
<v Speaker 1>new thing more endearing. I think a lot of this
<v Speaker 1>stuff and the and the lack of what we've been
<v Speaker 1>wanting from Nintendo has been strategy into into boosting up
<v Speaker 1>the Switch too, because the Switch one was already successful,
<v Speaker 1>Like adding themes to it is a drop in the bucket,
<v Speaker 1>but trying to make the Switch to as successful as
<v Speaker 1>Switch one, they're going to have to pull out all
<v Speaker 1>the stops.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. But I mean, I mean, good on Nintendo for
<v Speaker 2>listening to their audience.
<v Speaker 1>You know, well yeah, if that is what manipulating, but
<v Speaker 1>also listening.
<v Speaker 2>I guess yeah, well if you really I don't know
<v Speaker 2>if if they're doing such a big brain play, like
<v Speaker 2>you say, where it's like, oh, they're withholding this stuff
<v Speaker 2>from us so that we really want it, you know,
<v Speaker 2>you think so.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it's a little dirty, but I don't think
<v Speaker 1>it's that crazy to think it.
<v Speaker 2>Is pretty dirty. But it also could like you could
<v Speaker 2>also attribute it to just like them being incompetent and lazy.
<v Speaker 1>For for a long time and not want and just
<v Speaker 1>not want competent. So I mean, even if it wasn't
<v Speaker 1>on purpose, I still think they would be thinking about
<v Speaker 1>it right now, like, oh, that's something we could do
<v Speaker 1>that we didn't do last time, for sure.
<v Speaker 2>For sure. Five dollars from Prof Rocks is can't say
<v Speaker 2>for the live show. Wishing you all the best. Great
<v Speaker 2>to see you back camp, Great to see you back.
<v Speaker 1>Thank you so much, thank you, Oh, thank you so
<v Speaker 1>much for saying that.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you very kind.
<v Speaker 1>Um. Yeah, no, I don't really. I don't know what
<v Speaker 1>else to say about the themes. What do you guys think,
<v Speaker 1>get to.
<v Speaker 2>A p what kind of theme would you want to see?
<v Speaker 1>Do a pole over there about whether or not we'll
<v Speaker 1>get themes? What kind of theme would I want to see? Well,
<v Speaker 1>I mean obviously Zelda, which we'll definitely get. I just
<v Speaker 1>wonder like how customizable it would be, Like will you
<v Speaker 1>be able to put your own backgrounds? Probably not, because
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo was so restrictive with things. They won't want anyone
<v Speaker 1>taking a picture a big ding dong ding along and
<v Speaker 1>then uploading it to their home thing and sharing it
<v Speaker 1>online being like here's my penis switch, you know. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>so it'll probably be only like assets that you can
<v Speaker 1>grab from a Nintendo store or an app. But that's
<v Speaker 1>still cool. You know, you can do like a Zelder
<v Speaker 1>background with triforces everywhere, or sure, you know little Mario
<v Speaker 1>Man's running around the theme.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I see nothing wrong with that.
<v Speaker 1>Let me see here, we have a poll in chat
<v Speaker 1>where we get themes. Oh, I can't vote.
<v Speaker 2>Because it's not like right now hell chat.
<v Speaker 1>Hell yeah No, I definitely want it, and I think
<v Speaker 1>there is incentive for them to do it. I don't
<v Speaker 1>think there's even incentive for them not to do it.
<v Speaker 1>It's just something else that would separate the look and
<v Speaker 1>feel of this console, because that's really again, that's their
<v Speaker 1>whole thing is like this is a different console. And
<v Speaker 1>if they have just a standard white and black theme
<v Speaker 1>when you look at it turned on, it's going to
<v Speaker 1>look too similar to the first one. But if you
<v Speaker 1>have like a Zelda background or this that on the
<v Speaker 1>other it's like, oh, you couldn't do that before. This
<v Speaker 1>must be a switch to right. But like it just said,
<v Speaker 1>it just.
<v Speaker 2>Separates someone in Chad. I just said, I just want folders,
<v Speaker 2>and I think that's valid, you know.
<v Speaker 3>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>That was another point I was going to bring up
<v Speaker 1>is on the Wii, you were able to really customize
<v Speaker 1>your whole thing, Like you had all of those like squares,
<v Speaker 1>and you could I think you could do folders.
<v Speaker 2>I don't remember. I'm in fact, well I don't say
<v Speaker 2>I don't remember. I never owned a Wiu.
<v Speaker 1>My roommates do folders? Even? Could you do folders on
<v Speaker 1>three ds?
<v Speaker 2>I'd britially always seem like a pretty important and essentially
<v Speaker 2>easy thing to implement, right, let me.
<v Speaker 1>Know about the folders chat? No, yeah, I agree. But
<v Speaker 1>the way you had like all those boxes and you
<v Speaker 1>could put anything anywhere you wanted. It was like an
<v Speaker 1>iPhone almost of like I want this app here in
<v Speaker 1>this app here, and.
<v Speaker 2>That would be nice, that would be nice.
<v Speaker 1>It's something that done so many times before. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know why folders with three DS. I believe bom I
<v Speaker 1>were they we though.
<v Speaker 2>Son. I hope they eliminate friend codes. I don't think
<v Speaker 2>that's gonna happen, but I do also wish the same thing.
<v Speaker 1>I you know what, I think they I think they might, Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>well not eliminate because it's gonna be all backwards compatible
<v Speaker 1>with Switch one, so I think you have to keep
<v Speaker 1>friend codes. But I do think they they have incentive
<v Speaker 1>to in reduce an easier way of adding friends on
<v Speaker 1>top of that, like just adding in names or adding
<v Speaker 1>in something or like QR cod I don't know, like
<v Speaker 1>just something else.
<v Speaker 2>Also on top of it. Yeah, no, I agree. They
<v Speaker 2>need to take away the friend limit too. I think
<v Speaker 2>that's so dumb.
<v Speaker 1>That dumb. They also need to now we're just getting
<v Speaker 1>into the weeds. They need to make it so you
<v Speaker 1>can delete more than one friend at a time.
<v Speaker 2>Oh God, that sucks. Yes, you're so right, that might be.
<v Speaker 1>It might be just a problem for like streamers and people.
<v Speaker 1>That a problem for me, Yeah, because like when you
<v Speaker 1>got it so frustrating when you want to play games
<v Speaker 1>with anybody on Switch and you want to add them
<v Speaker 1>to your party, you always have to be their friends.
<v Speaker 1>And so when we're streaming and we're trying to play
<v Speaker 1>games with chat, or we're doing Mario Party, Mario Kart,
<v Speaker 1>any of that, we always have to add the people
<v Speaker 1>watching us as a friend. They can't just join the
<v Speaker 1>lobby by a code.
<v Speaker 2>Sometimes sometimes they have with Mario Kart, they've got they
<v Speaker 2>got the tournament mode now, but it's not the same no. Yeah,
<v Speaker 2>so it's like I can't be like, I want sixteen
<v Speaker 2>people in or twelve people in. I guess back then
<v Speaker 2>now it'll be more right whatever, it's thirty two or
<v Speaker 2>something like that. Spam call you, but I want thirty
<v Speaker 2>two people in this room right now. I don't want
<v Speaker 2>to be friends with all of them, but I want
<v Speaker 2>to do like a little tournament. It's really frustrated, you know,
<v Speaker 2>Grand Prix short for us as streamers, we have to
<v Speaker 2>add a lot of people as friends.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and then when you want to delete them because
<v Speaker 1>you hit the cap and you want to add more people,
<v Speaker 1>three button presses, three button presses, and it's like this
<v Speaker 1>per delete wait and then it deletes in the next person.
<v Speaker 1>Is so frustrating.
<v Speaker 2>The worse disincentivizes streamers from doing group.
<v Speaker 1>I hate adding people on my friends list. I absolutely
<v Speaker 1>hate it.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah you heard that here. If you're friends with wood
<v Speaker 2>on Switch thing, you're particularly special.
<v Speaker 1>So I had someone else said I can only delete
<v Speaker 1>a hundred pictures at a time. That's another one. When
<v Speaker 1>you do screen share so or pictures. So when I'm
<v Speaker 1>making video reviews or video game reviews, I very often
<v Speaker 1>will take pictures while I'm playing, so when I go
<v Speaker 1>back through, I remember certain parts to talk about in
<v Speaker 1>the review. Or I'll do like a whole thirty second
<v Speaker 1>video and I'll be like, I'll save that for later.
<v Speaker 1>I have thousands of pictures and videos, and they actually
<v Speaker 1>fill up the sd cut to the point where you
<v Speaker 1>can't install new games sometimes. So I'll go through and
<v Speaker 1>try and delete them, and you have to hold and drag,
<v Speaker 1>but you can only drag to one hundred at a time.
<v Speaker 1>And when you have thousands and you have to wait
<v Speaker 1>for them to delete the hundred you just dragged, that's
<v Speaker 1>another thing that takes forever.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, the same as my Gmail in box. I hate that,
<v Speaker 2>you know, stupid got four ninety nine from Munching munch
<v Speaker 2>Lax says. I've heard slash read a few rumors that
<v Speaker 2>some retailers in European region were already told to be
<v Speaker 2>ready for May fifteenth launch date. What are your thoughts?
<v Speaker 1>Oh wait, what.
<v Speaker 2>Super chat.
<v Speaker 1>This was also something that someone tweeted just May fifteenth
<v Speaker 1>with eyes look like Imogi and they're in the Switch
<v Speaker 1>space and every I don't know matter who that was,
<v Speaker 1>and people were like, what does this mean? May fifteenth?
<v Speaker 1>So May fifteenth for launch date, people being told to
<v Speaker 1>be ready, No, I think that's one hundred percent likely date.
<v Speaker 1>We've talked about this already, and beyond the two to
<v Speaker 1>two two of it all and trying to find out
<v Speaker 1>where the twos line up and all of that theory,
<v Speaker 1>there's another working theory that the Switch I think this
<v Speaker 1>is actually just part of it. The Switch one, from
<v Speaker 1>when it was announced to when it was revealed to
<v Speaker 1>when it released all coincided up the same way that
<v Speaker 1>we're trajectoring right now, even with the hands on previews,
<v Speaker 1>with the last hands on preview being in like Seoul,
<v Speaker 1>Hong Kong somewhere around there, and the Switch actually came
<v Speaker 1>out two weeks before that hands on event, which doesn't
<v Speaker 1>really make a lot of sense, but two weeks before
<v Speaker 1>the Soul event this time is middle of May. It
<v Speaker 1>is literally May fifteenth, so I don't know how true
<v Speaker 1>that is. Actually, I haven't heard that that European region
<v Speaker 1>were told to be ready for May fifteenth. I did
<v Speaker 1>see that one guy had tweeted May fifteenth, and that
<v Speaker 1>does line us up pretty much to be in the
<v Speaker 1>same situation that the Switch one was, So I can
<v Speaker 1>totally see a mid May release. Anywhere between mid May
<v Speaker 1>to the end of May is what I'm at. It
<v Speaker 1>is what I'm thinking.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I was on the impression was June, but I
<v Speaker 2>guess I'm wrong.
<v Speaker 1>So June is what it seemed to be. The on
<v Speaker 1>paper seemed to be the obvious answer because the last
<v Speaker 1>hands on event preview is in June, so why would
<v Speaker 1>it come out anywhere before June. It seems like we're
<v Speaker 1>leading up to June. But until that information was made
<v Speaker 1>more public or brought to people's remembrance, I suppose that
<v Speaker 1>the Switch one actually came out before the hands on finished.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, oh, well, then it could be. It could
<v Speaker 1>be any time in May because the hands on s
<v Speaker 1>don't matter.
<v Speaker 2>Apparently my birthdays in June, jat.
<v Speaker 1>My baby's coming May first. Yeah, so May fifteenth. I'm
<v Speaker 1>gonna be about two weeks into my first time being
<v Speaker 1>a dad, and I would definitely still be on no sleep.
<v Speaker 2>I feel for you, brother.
<v Speaker 1>It's gonna be tough. He does seem like.
<v Speaker 2>There are better ways that I could help with that.
<v Speaker 1>It does seem like, yeah, he's gonna come earlier, which
<v Speaker 1>would be nice if we could get like a month
<v Speaker 1>into the baby when this switch comes. I feel like
<v Speaker 1>a month in is a good spot made it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>it's at least you're in a routine of being tied
<v Speaker 1>at that point. Yeah, you know, two weeks I feel
<v Speaker 1>like you're still kind of like what is happening? But
<v Speaker 1>a month is like this is my life now?
<v Speaker 2>True. Yeah. I got like, I got an ad for
<v Speaker 2>some baby monitor thing on the way down here, and
<v Speaker 2>I was like that would be good for wood because
<v Speaker 2>it was like apparently that people who have it get
<v Speaker 2>like fifteen percent more sleep or something. I was like,
<v Speaker 2>that's crazy, that that's like the good statistic is.
<v Speaker 1>Me that whatever that is?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I don't even remember what it was. No free
<v Speaker 2>cloud though.
<v Speaker 1>So Octo in chat, who I believe is Max, saying
<v Speaker 1>June for sure, late June release date. I am leaning
<v Speaker 1>towards May. But that's only based on into these inside
<v Speaker 1>like rumors and tweets and suggestions, and also what happened
<v Speaker 1>last time. If it ends up being June, Max, I
<v Speaker 1>will jump for joy.
<v Speaker 2>Do you think there will be that'll be awesome? Like
<v Speaker 2>a pre order date? Maybe you know.
<v Speaker 1>Preorder I'm trying to remember what happened last time. Let
<v Speaker 1>me see. Let me look up my old video of
<v Speaker 1>pre ordering the switch and when that came, when that released.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like a pre order date order would.
<v Speaker 1>Which beat them ups because that's a good date point.
<v Speaker 1>Here we go, how I pre ordered my Nintendo Switch?
<v Speaker 2>Are we watching this?
<v Speaker 1>Well? I don't know. This is five minutes long?
<v Speaker 2>God?
<v Speaker 1>Should we? We could?
<v Speaker 2>I'm in the screen chair, button you got sc.
<v Speaker 1>Hold on. I'm looking at the date January seventeenth. January seventeenth,
<v Speaker 1>and then when did it come out? March? So January
<v Speaker 1>February March so two months literally about two months before
<v Speaker 1>the pre orders went live. So if it's coming out,
<v Speaker 1>let's say March fifteenth. Uh, what's too sorry, my brain's
<v Speaker 1>over the place. May fifteenth, what's two months before that?
<v Speaker 1>It's now? Right?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's like it's literally it's it's like five days ago. Mmmm.
<v Speaker 1>So if they want to do two months of pre
<v Speaker 1>orders again, we're past that, Like it would have to
<v Speaker 1>come out early mid June. If they want to do
<v Speaker 1>two months of preorders.
<v Speaker 2>If they're doing well, yeah, if they're doing two month
<v Speaker 2>preorders based on when they do the reveal at the
<v Speaker 2>direct and the hands on thing that you're doing right,
<v Speaker 2>and they do pre orders starting around then, then it
<v Speaker 2>would coincide with the June release.
<v Speaker 1>So it's true they might not. They might not feel
<v Speaker 1>like they need to do a two month wind up
<v Speaker 1>of pre orders. But let's just see what I talked
<v Speaker 1>about in this video. Oh, this is when my hair
<v Speaker 1>was messed up. Someone did, I honestly don't like pizza.
<v Speaker 1>I hated that.
<v Speaker 2>You don't like pizza?
<v Speaker 1>What? No, I don't.
<v Speaker 2>We talked about this, just like in general, have we
<v Speaker 2>talked about it. I remember, I.
<v Speaker 1>Don't like pizza because I don't like the way I
<v Speaker 1>feel after I eat pizza. It makes me look at
<v Speaker 1>pizza and I now feel preemptively sick when I see pizza.
<v Speaker 1>She like, I went to the hair person because I
<v Speaker 1>worked at a restaurant and my hair was always up
<v Speaker 1>and I had little scragglies and I was like, could
<v Speaker 1>you take care of them? And she just like shaved
<v Speaker 1>like so much of.
<v Speaker 2>My head like an undercut.
<v Speaker 1>It just looks ridiculous. Look at it. I hated it,
<v Speaker 1>Like pizza, it's too greasy. I was trying to remember,
<v Speaker 1>trying to fluff out this video to get any sort
<v Speaker 1>of time out of it. I even go to home
<v Speaker 1>deep Oh, I car in the video. It has nothing
<v Speaker 1>to do with getting a up freaking pre order. Sorry, uh,
<v Speaker 1>here we go. It's about it's about here a game
<v Speaker 1>style switch four minutes is absolutely fluff. And then I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>they're out. Yeah, so this is I guess, no, no, no,
<v Speaker 1>this is a good jump down memory lane. So the
<v Speaker 1>Switch preorders were impossible to find, like notoriously impossible to find.
<v Speaker 1>They sold out immediately. So we went around to several
<v Speaker 1>EB games in our little county country whatever it's called
<v Speaker 1>in Canada, what is it called in Canada province, province,
<v Speaker 1>and they were all sold out. And then finally it
<v Speaker 1>will probably be in here somewhere. We found one EB
<v Speaker 1>Games that when we walked in they immediately said they
<v Speaker 1>I just knew what I was looking for. They were
<v Speaker 1>like we're out of Neon ones, which is what everyone wanted,
<v Speaker 1>was the one they like, but we have a couple
<v Speaker 1>of Gray ones left. That's what it was like. It
<v Speaker 1>was two months I wanted the Gray one anyway for
<v Speaker 1>some reason. This is two months before it launched and
<v Speaker 1>all the pre orders were gone. It was so hard
<v Speaker 1>to get a switch, and then people were scalping them
<v Speaker 1>and people couldn't for the first like several months, it
<v Speaker 1>was so hard to even find one on the shelves.
<v Speaker 1>So that's the whole thing this time with Nintendo saying
<v Speaker 1>that they're making enough to satisfy something like what was
<v Speaker 1>the number, like ten million or something twenty the wrong guy?
<v Speaker 1>I think it was twenty million or something.
<v Speaker 2>What was it?
<v Speaker 1>Chat We talked about it in an episode recently. Nintendo
<v Speaker 1>was saying they've made like I think it for some reason,
<v Speaker 1>I'm thinking twenty two million was the number that they
<v Speaker 1>have ready to go for the first year to make
<v Speaker 1>sure they do not run out of stock, which is
<v Speaker 1>really it behooves them. Like I think there's a level
<v Speaker 1>of when things are being scalped and sold for a lot,
<v Speaker 1>there's like a there's like an image thing that makes
<v Speaker 1>it look very valuable, like everybody wants to get one,
<v Speaker 1>and I think it drives the wand up. But the
<v Speaker 1>reverse negative side of that is so many people are
<v Speaker 1>buying it from a scalper rather than buying it from Nintendo.
<v Speaker 2>How that money doesn't go to Nintendo. It's like they're losing.
<v Speaker 1>Using a sale too. So if they actually want to
<v Speaker 1>compete with the switch one launch, I think they are
<v Speaker 1>really having hope that they don't need to have this
<v Speaker 1>image of oh, everyone wants it but can't get it,
<v Speaker 1>and that everyone's just gonna want it and it's gonna
<v Speaker 1>be there and they're gonna buy it. And it was
<v Speaker 1>a guy that was pre ordering the last one they
<v Speaker 1>had in stop missed out by one guy. You shouldn't
<v Speaker 1>have checked Walmart first. I got one guide.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know one guide and I I.
<v Speaker 1>I this is back when I was kind of new
<v Speaker 1>to content and like everything was on the table. I
<v Speaker 1>can't believe I filmed the guy.
<v Speaker 2>You filmed, Oh that was that was the guy. I
<v Speaker 2>thought that. I thought that was the employee.
<v Speaker 1>I don't remember this, but io in here, Well maybe
<v Speaker 1>it's missed out. I don't know, but I straight up
<v Speaker 1>filmed the employee. Like, here's the employee that wouldn't give
<v Speaker 1>me that I got one guide from. That's horrible. I
<v Speaker 1>would never do that now, it's like I was. It's
<v Speaker 1>just more I wasn't thinking back then. I wasn't trying
<v Speaker 1>to call him out. I know I wasn't because I
<v Speaker 1>don't even remember this.
<v Speaker 2>He's still on the screen right now in my.
<v Speaker 1>In my mind, it was just like this is the content,
<v Speaker 1>Like I'm talking about going to the counter, so that
<v Speaker 1>show the counter. But it really seems like I'm trying
<v Speaker 1>to adopt this guy missed out.
<v Speaker 2>My switch.
<v Speaker 1>I don't want any more. I'm going to check the
<v Speaker 1>EV games and they said they had it.
<v Speaker 2>He just drove all around BC.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, buddy, I missed this guy. This guy, This guy
<v Speaker 1>and I were really tight for a minute and then
<v Speaker 1>he just kind of sour it on me. Twitch Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>do you want to do you want to tell me why?
<v Speaker 1>I'll say it nicely. He was super religious, like super religious,
<v Speaker 1>and uh, he didn't like that I wasn't.
<v Speaker 2>Well, and like we were really close and I can't
<v Speaker 2>really be helped Canada.
<v Speaker 1>No. I know, I know it was really weird, but
<v Speaker 1>like he like didn't I I don't want to talk
<v Speaker 1>too much about He's such a nice guy. I loved
<v Speaker 1>him so much. He was one of my best friends
<v Speaker 1>in Canada.
<v Speaker 2>It's crazy because I mean, I don't you're not that
<v Speaker 2>much of a heathen at all, nearly not, but.
<v Speaker 1>Like he wouldn't like that. I like swore around him,
<v Speaker 1>I remember, and it was really hard for me to.
<v Speaker 1>I tried not to, but sometimes it would slip out,
<v Speaker 1>and I think he thought I was like a heathen.
<v Speaker 1>True great guy, though, I honestly I do miss his companionship.
<v Speaker 2>Is this the hitch?
<v Speaker 1>We were really closer? I think I found that. It
<v Speaker 1>looks like I found I don't know, but I hate
<v Speaker 1>this guy.
<v Speaker 2>Because sometimes the PC audio is outputting. That's why it's
<v Speaker 2>so loud. Okay, people, I fixed it.
<v Speaker 1>I knew that was happening.
<v Speaker 2>Well why don't you say it?
<v Speaker 1>I did? I was like, because how you had it? Like? Right? No?
<v Speaker 2>Because that was the thing with the The other thing
<v Speaker 2>that was with the the intro sound was that it
<v Speaker 2>was it was it was monitored and output and this
<v Speaker 2>is but this is a PC.
<v Speaker 1>Audio and that's been monitoring and outputting. Yeah, so it's
<v Speaker 1>been blasting the whole time.
<v Speaker 2>I fixed it. It's fine. We haven't shown a lot
<v Speaker 2>of stuff. Dude, Relax, It's okay.
<v Speaker 1>We've been showing this for like ten minutes.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, but we've been going back and forth. I also
<v Speaker 2>have it really low on my end, so I've been
<v Speaker 2>trying my.
<v Speaker 1>Best to sorry chat got the audio guy here.
<v Speaker 2>I'm getting fired again. I can feel it feel in
<v Speaker 2>my bones.
<v Speaker 1>I often when I used to make these videos. Oh god,
<v Speaker 1>I forgot all about this convenience story. I went here
<v Speaker 1>all the time. When I used to make these videos,
<v Speaker 1>I would lug and I would like be in other
<v Speaker 1>people's videos, and I'd get so many negative comments about
<v Speaker 1>me in the way I was acting and that I
<v Speaker 1>was like this entitled little brat or whatever. And at
<v Speaker 1>the time it always upset me, and I'm like, I
<v Speaker 1>don't understand. I'm just trying to make videos and have fun. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>when I watch them now, I get it, Like, I
<v Speaker 1>so get it. This guy, it's cringe. It's so cringe.
<v Speaker 2>You think you were like a little ship.
<v Speaker 1>Yes, the way I was acting one hundred percent. Look
<v Speaker 1>at this. I'm like walking around the mall. Switch one am.
<v Speaker 1>I like logan pole very logan pol I don't know, dude.
<v Speaker 1>It's like, is this what I thought was supposed to be?
<v Speaker 1>And then like I'm in the store and I'm like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>I think I found it, which is kind of funny
<v Speaker 1>because I'm trying to find the switch and I'm like,
<v Speaker 1>is this it?
<v Speaker 2>Is this the switch?
<v Speaker 1>And I'm just like having a seizure. Fitch, I think
<v Speaker 1>I found that.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, it looks like it.
<v Speaker 1>I think I found the Nintendo hitch. I think it's
<v Speaker 1>just I don't blame anybody for not liking me.
<v Speaker 2>Wolf, What are you gonna do? You don't have to
<v Speaker 2>go back and read your comments?
<v Speaker 1>I want to leave one. This guy's annoying. I honestly
<v Speaker 1>want to type in my own thing. This guy's annoying
<v Speaker 1>right now for it. No, I can't. I'm not signed in.
<v Speaker 2>Damn. What do you have to do it for my account?
<v Speaker 1>Oh?
<v Speaker 2>I guess I'm not signed in either.
<v Speaker 1>So oh A lot of all the comments are about
<v Speaker 1>pizza and how I hated pizza.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, that is a pretty jarring fact about you. I'm
<v Speaker 2>not gonna lie.
<v Speaker 1>Oh oh dude, if you thought that girl was rude,
<v Speaker 1>you would literally go crazy here in Japan. Took me
<v Speaker 1>a while to get used to this. Wait, what are
<v Speaker 1>you talking about? What? Girl? Anyway, eventually I did pre
<v Speaker 1>order it at UH at the EB Games that was
<v Speaker 1>honestly closest to my house, So I don't know what
<v Speaker 1>I was doing.
<v Speaker 2>This is one hard thing for no reason. So I
<v Speaker 2>have a quest bar in my mouth.
<v Speaker 1>No, you're fine, all right, let's get let's get me
<v Speaker 1>out of this.
<v Speaker 2>You're good.
<v Speaker 1>Mm hmm. I also lost my life chat useless today. Um,
<v Speaker 1>you hungry? You need anything? I can go get some.
<v Speaker 1>I can go get you. We're podcasting. It's okay, I'm fine.
<v Speaker 1>I'm worried about what else in the dark would I'm
<v Speaker 1>not doing anything. It's fine.
<v Speaker 2>Teleroot's on the dark? What's next? No?
<v Speaker 1>Sorry, hold on, I't bring up that chat again. You can.
<v Speaker 1>You can end that poll now just leave it up. Mom.
<v Speaker 1>Let's let's see here a couple of interesting things. I
<v Speaker 1>was setting up this video today and I looked at
<v Speaker 1>my sub feed and I saw an RGT video that
<v Speaker 1>I actually found interesting for once, and it was about
<v Speaker 1>the Xena Blake Chronicles x having a sixty fps mode
<v Speaker 1>baked into its files. Yeah, so if you cut over here,
<v Speaker 1>I'm stealing this topic. From him unfortunately, but he found
<v Speaker 1>this article, this article, this random tweet, I should say
<v Speaker 1>from massa great tour. WHI I had to break that
<v Speaker 1>down case it was a naughty thing to say, naughty
<v Speaker 1>thing to say. I said the F bomb a minute ago.
<v Speaker 1>Am my dad or heathen? Which is it?
<v Speaker 2>I feel like you're kind of run the line.
<v Speaker 1>Am I losing my religious friends? Or I'm about to
<v Speaker 1>be watching Coco Melon?
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Do you know what I mean?
<v Speaker 2>Ben? Somebody in Chevy now? Sorry?
<v Speaker 1>You know by chronicles x So in the code here
<v Speaker 1>it says dynamic resolution ranges five oh four P to
<v Speaker 1>seven twenty P handheld and then seven sixty to ten
<v Speaker 1>eight P doct So that's how it is. But in
<v Speaker 1>the game's executable files it has a hidden sixty FPS
<v Speaker 1>mode seems to be implemented only partially since enabling it
<v Speaker 1>causes weird issues. So essentially, there is a sixty fps
<v Speaker 1>mode hidden within the files that if you actually go
<v Speaker 1>in and manually activate, it will mess up the game.
<v Speaker 1>So it clearly doesn't work. Now, what RGT was theorizing here,
<v Speaker 1>and I think what makes the most sense, honestly, is
<v Speaker 1>a preparation for the switch Too, so it's already in there,
<v Speaker 1>it's turned off. But as we've talked about a lot,
<v Speaker 1>you can cut away. As we've talked about my theory
<v Speaker 1>a lot with the Switch two is that obviously you
<v Speaker 1>stick in a Switch one game into the Switch To,
<v Speaker 1>it inherently isn't going to look run or do anything better.
<v Speaker 1>But if the developers actually codeed or optimize it, or
<v Speaker 1>make a patch for switch To, then it could run better.
<v Speaker 1>And it seems like with this game releasing so close
<v Speaker 1>to both consoles coming out, and Monolith being partly owned
<v Speaker 1>by Nintendo, it'd be no surprise if they already have
<v Speaker 1>a switch To, if they've already tried running this game,
<v Speaker 1>and there are other games on a switch To, if
<v Speaker 1>they're preemptively baking in some groundwork here for the eventual
<v Speaker 1>patch this game. Yep, today we're going to game stuf
<v Speaker 1>to go get it today. Yeah, I gotta go pick
<v Speaker 1>it up and start playing it.
<v Speaker 2>Very nice.
<v Speaker 1>So, yeah, this could hint towards a possible sixty f
<v Speaker 1>ps mode. It's going to be interesting to see if
<v Speaker 1>that happens, right, because it'd also be a really good
<v Speaker 1>positive sign in the right direction to getting a lot
<v Speaker 1>of these old Nintendo games running on this switch to
<v Speaker 1>in sixty fps.
<v Speaker 2>He mentioned that sort of begs the question then, is like,
<v Speaker 2>are there any other games that have been more recently
<v Speaker 2>released for Switch that also have higher frame rates baked
<v Speaker 2>into them that we don't see because it's more meant
<v Speaker 2>for switch to Hmmm.
<v Speaker 1>Interesting. I feel like people would probably have found it
<v Speaker 1>by now, especially with this. I'm sure they'd be going
<v Speaker 1>back and looking at it. I think this one is
<v Speaker 1>just so close to the switch to release that there's
<v Speaker 1>some baked in stuff there. But yeah, I guess we'll see.
<v Speaker 1>But it would be cool, he mentioned. He mentioned like
<v Speaker 1>a game like Age of Calamity, which historically had terrible
<v Speaker 1>frame rates. All those Hyro Warriors games have such bad
<v Speaker 1>frame rates on Nintendo consoles. I remember the three DS
<v Speaker 1>one was atrocious. It would be really cool to be
<v Speaker 1>able to stick that into the switch to get it
<v Speaker 1>at sixty fps. It would actually open up a lot
<v Speaker 1>of those old games to people that maybe didn't want
<v Speaker 1>to deal with the bad resolutions or the lower frame rates,
<v Speaker 1>and give people a whole new chance to play these games,
<v Speaker 1>or even for us to go back and play them.
<v Speaker 1>I really hope. Oh, Why didn't they make this the
<v Speaker 1>title and thumbnail?
<v Speaker 2>Do you want to start over? We can start over.
<v Speaker 1>No, it's fine, there's even more evidence. Hit me hit
<v Speaker 1>my title card.
<v Speaker 2>Wait, okay, hold on, I got you. We're gonna start
<v Speaker 2>over again. Welcome to Nintendo Live.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't that's too much, you said the title card. No,
<v Speaker 1>I meant my lower third. Oh okay, bring up, bring
<v Speaker 1>up the music and and my lower third.
<v Speaker 2>Now I gotta wait for it. Do it now? I
<v Speaker 2>got you.
<v Speaker 1>Welcome on into the Nontendo podcast. Interesting topic we have
<v Speaker 1>today is the switch actually going to be able to
<v Speaker 1>do four k unbelievably in more patents found and discovered online.
<v Speaker 1>It seems like this is the way Nintendo is trending.
<v Speaker 1>But before we get to that, Ham, how have you been?
<v Speaker 2>Oh I've been great. Welcome, Welcome everybody in the pod.
<v Speaker 2>Appreciate you. Hold let it go by my lower third.
<v Speaker 1>Thanks being him one of.
<v Speaker 2>This bit that we're doing right now. This is great, awesome,
<v Speaker 2>it's awesome. We should. We should start the podcast over
<v Speaker 2>more times than just now.
<v Speaker 1>You know, I've been starting it over a lot lately.
<v Speaker 1>I've been going live, having an immediate issue and just
<v Speaker 1>ripping the podcast and stuff just happened. Yeah, so frustrating.
<v Speaker 1>I don't even know where to find this. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know where I saw it.
<v Speaker 2>I feel like I remember you sending an every chair.
<v Speaker 1>I didn't see it there while I was doing the
<v Speaker 1>doctor today, Nintendo's switch to upscaling. Let me just google
<v Speaker 1>that and then see if there's news.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, we're doing doc right now.
<v Speaker 1>Oh god, yeah, I guess we were. Yeah, let's not
<v Speaker 1>do that. Not a fan, not a fan fan. I
<v Speaker 1>got rid of my tesla. I told you this all right,
<v Speaker 1>for sure, it's all related. You can cut to me.
<v Speaker 1>Nintendo Live AI upscaling on switch to is basically real
<v Speaker 1>things to update the pattern, Well, let me give you
<v Speaker 1>a summary of where we are till now. We've already
<v Speaker 1>had patents from this. This is just another pattern reaffirming this,
<v Speaker 1>and this being the idea, the concept that you can
<v Speaker 1>take a like five forty P image and you can
<v Speaker 1>AI upscale it to ten ADP. You can take a
<v Speaker 1>ten ADP image or seven twenty P and upscale it
<v Speaker 1>to two K. You could probably even push it and
<v Speaker 1>upscale it to four K. It's artificial, it's AI. It
<v Speaker 1>does it artificially. I don't have a better word for that. Essentially,
<v Speaker 1>what that means is you can keep a file small.
<v Speaker 1>If you don't know, ten ADP file, seven twenty P files.
<v Speaker 1>Even for games, those files are quite small. Four K
<v Speaker 1>files they're quite large. That's a big reason why we
<v Speaker 1>can't have four K on a lot of things or
<v Speaker 1>switch things. It's the files are too big whatever. That's
<v Speaker 1>a lot to render, lots of render, and it's taxing
<v Speaker 1>on the hardware. But you keep those files as small
<v Speaker 1>as they are and then artificially an AI upscale them
<v Speaker 1>so they're not true four K. But that's the conversation
<v Speaker 1>I've been having for years about the switch. You could literally,
<v Speaker 1>I think, go back four years on my channel and
<v Speaker 1>I think you could find a video of me and
<v Speaker 1>RGT talking about this technology and how AI upscaling will
<v Speaker 1>be prevalent on the switch too. Like, this is something
<v Speaker 1>that both of us have been talking about for a
<v Speaker 1>long time. And it was because even back then, and
<v Speaker 1>Video shield and end video product that you would plug
<v Speaker 1>into your TV to play games and stream games on
<v Speaker 1>had the AI upscaling technology. And then Video makes the
<v Speaker 1>graphics card for Nintendo, so they already are working with
<v Speaker 1>the company that's already doing it, and the chip sets
<v Speaker 1>are essentially the same, and there's no reason why it
<v Speaker 1>can't happen anyway. Moving on here it is again this
<v Speaker 1>is a new pattern by Nintendo, and you can see
<v Speaker 1>here they have a five forty P image and this
<v Speaker 1>is the process it goes through to AI upscale it.
<v Speaker 1>You prepare the image, you input the data, you reorganize
<v Speaker 1>the matrix sixteen by sixteen, run neural network. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know what any of this means, but essentially it goes
<v Speaker 1>through and then it becomes TENADP.
<v Speaker 2>There's some Silicon Valley shit on it.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's crazy. So this is specifically looking at taking
<v Speaker 1>five forty and turning it into ten eighty. Now, this
<v Speaker 1>is still exciting because I do think there's a realm
<v Speaker 1>of possibility here. And we have other patterns from Nintendo
<v Speaker 1>of recent that talk about four K images. But even
<v Speaker 1>if they don't go the four K rite, this is
<v Speaker 1>still exciting to think of getting TENADP because this switch
<v Speaker 1>to could one hundred percent play games at five forty
<v Speaker 1>P sixty frames, like, there's no question about that, right,
<v Speaker 1>So if you're AI upscaling at the ten ADP baseline,
<v Speaker 1>like the least we can expect. Here is this game
<v Speaker 1>spinning around on my desk for the last hour. This
<v Speaker 1>game running at ten ADP, looking clean and crisp, in
<v Speaker 1>full resolution at sixty frames that is baseline what we
<v Speaker 1>can expect just looking at Nintendo's own pattern right here.
<v Speaker 2>Sure, so, but is the is breath what do you
<v Speaker 2>call it? Tuesday Kingdom, Breath of the World? Which one
<v Speaker 2>is his breath? Is it? That's that was in ten
<v Speaker 2>ADP though, wasn't it like it's not so it's seven twenty.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, maybe doctor might hit ten ADP, but it would
<v Speaker 1>be thirty frames at most.
<v Speaker 2>Right, let me see what I get that. If they're
<v Speaker 2>if they're going to take a game that was, you know,
<v Speaker 2>running at seven twenty P and they're gonna AI up scale,
<v Speaker 2>that's pretty dope.
<v Speaker 1>So does Breath of the Wild run at on switch,
<v Speaker 1>handheld and docked? This is this is why I hate Google,
<v Speaker 1>the Google GBT. Look at what it pulled. This isn't
<v Speaker 1>even the AI.
<v Speaker 2>Is it safe to pull up?
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's fine. I asked, what resolution is this? Breath
<v Speaker 1>of the World run out and switched four K sixty.
<v Speaker 2>Br in a way. Thanks, we all know that's not true. Um,
<v Speaker 2>I'm gonna cut away from now.
<v Speaker 1>Does anyone in chat?
<v Speaker 2>No chat?
<v Speaker 1>GBT my phone? I'm not logged in on my God,
<v Speaker 1>what resolution is Breath of the Wild on switch? So
<v Speaker 1>there's two there's two things here, Harmantha. There's Doctor and
<v Speaker 1>there's also handheld. So with this AI thing, even handheld,
<v Speaker 1>we should be getting ten ADP. So I can tell
<v Speaker 1>you now handheld for this game is probably five forty
<v Speaker 1>P at most, okay, on a seven to twenty screen.
<v Speaker 1>The switch to will be a ten ADP screen and
<v Speaker 1>you'll be able to do it at ten ADP, so
<v Speaker 1>you'll get full resolution in handheld at sixty fps. That's
<v Speaker 1>already a huge improvement. And then you have the Doctor,
<v Speaker 1>which was probably at most nine hundred P.
<v Speaker 2>I would guess the fact that in twenty seventeen I
<v Speaker 2>would have been okay with playing a game at five
<v Speaker 2>sixty P is actually kind of crazy to me.
<v Speaker 1>Like, I, well, the thing is that the screen is
<v Speaker 1>so small and it is only seven to twenty P
<v Speaker 1>that five if five forty is not too bad. But
<v Speaker 1>but when you see them side by side, even like
<v Speaker 1>side by side handheld you will immediately see a difference.
<v Speaker 1>For me, it's like a tunic for example, on switch
<v Speaker 1>runs at something like five hundred P. When I put
<v Speaker 1>that next to my like O lead steam deck running
<v Speaker 1>it at ten EIGHTP, it's one's mud. Yeah, it's just
<v Speaker 1>it's a it's okay mud because it's already so small, right,
<v Speaker 1>but there's a there is an obvious difference, And yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I was My guess was right. It's nine hundred p
<v Speaker 1>max resolution on doc mode and then handheld is actually
<v Speaker 1>seven to twenty P. Yeah, which is that's schatge.
<v Speaker 2>The resolution of the screen though.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but yeah, interesting, So baseline bare bones, with this
<v Speaker 1>AI up scaling both docked and handheld, you're looking at
<v Speaker 1>ten adp full resolution at sixty fps. The sixty fps
<v Speaker 1>is a game on my part. But come on, if
<v Speaker 1>you're running it at the same resolution, you're just artificially
<v Speaker 1>upscaling it, which takes no extra drama. Why would it
<v Speaker 1>not be thirty frames more? You know?
<v Speaker 2>We would hope, so we would.
<v Speaker 1>I mean yeah, I mean unless it's literally got no
<v Speaker 1>extra power over the switch one, which we already know
<v Speaker 1>is false. Yep, you know, could the PlayStation four run
<v Speaker 1>breath of the Wild at ten EDP sixty frames. Yeah
<v Speaker 1>yeah for sure, Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, I think so.
<v Speaker 1>So that was That's interesting. That's another point in our
<v Speaker 1>favor here of like this is happening like in some regard,
<v Speaker 1>in some context, in some way the switch to has
<v Speaker 1>Ai upscaling, which is awesome A because of the obvious
<v Speaker 1>reason I've been saying it's awesome for four years and
<v Speaker 1>awesome B Because it's just one of those things that
<v Speaker 1>I was right about like four years ago, which you've
<v Speaker 1>been so right for so long. Can It's just it's
<v Speaker 1>I'm wrong about as much as I am right. But
<v Speaker 1>it is cool to be able to go back four
<v Speaker 1>or five years on a YouTube channel and be like, oh,
<v Speaker 1>this guy kind of called that. Yeah, and Sean and
<v Speaker 1>Sean and I, to Sean's credit to we were like
<v Speaker 1>really the only people back then that was like our idea.
<v Speaker 1>We kind of came up with that because of n
<v Speaker 1>Video shield at least that's how I remember. That's that's
<v Speaker 1>how I remember it well. By our idea, I mean
<v Speaker 1>our like theory that Nintendo would lead into that, right
<v Speaker 1>because they're working with Nvideo. Yeah, so of course that's
<v Speaker 1>got to come up in conversation, and it's for Nintendo's product,
<v Speaker 1>for their handheld, something that's not able baseline to put
<v Speaker 1>out as much power as these other consoles that are
<v Speaker 1>putting out Native raw four K. They barely ever actually
<v Speaker 1>do it. But this is their like workaround. This is
<v Speaker 1>how they can have the hybrid. This is how they
<v Speaker 1>can have their cake and eat it too. It makes
<v Speaker 1>so much sense. Why not.
<v Speaker 2>I'm with you, brother, oh King, telling King five dollars
<v Speaker 2>super chat from toast at five head says return of
<v Speaker 2>the ham thank you for having me to back all right,
<v Speaker 2>sho you guys?
<v Speaker 1>Doctors ten ADP. In switch settings, it says it's ten ADP.
<v Speaker 1>Though okay, well maybe it's doctor's tenny. It's still only
<v Speaker 1>thirty frames.
<v Speaker 2>I never understood why they're gonna I mean, I know
<v Speaker 2>that like the monitor that you're playing it on would
<v Speaker 2>be a higher resolution than the screen itself, right, But
<v Speaker 2>well there must have been there must have been games
<v Speaker 2>that like they were I don't know, it doesn't you know,
<v Speaker 2>it doesn't even matter what I'm trying to say. Thought,
<v Speaker 2>it didn't make sense to me that they were like
<v Speaker 2>making games look better when it was using the same hardware.
<v Speaker 2>You know what I mean. But I guess it makes
<v Speaker 2>sense because why would you render a game at ten adp?
<v Speaker 1>Why the doc made games look better? Why docking it
<v Speaker 1>made him look better?
<v Speaker 2>Well, because the Doctor actually had any like profile or
<v Speaker 2>it didn't any like performance, right.
<v Speaker 1>No, So how it's pretty How it works is the
<v Speaker 1>DOC is powered. You're you're connecting it to power. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>so the switch is able to do more because it's
<v Speaker 1>literally hardwired and it doesn't have to worry about battery
<v Speaker 1>dying or like, because the switch base could do it,
<v Speaker 1>but it's going to drain the battery and it's probably
<v Speaker 1>gonna get hot and right, yeah, so docking it just
<v Speaker 1>gave it that that extra boost oomph. Some people are
<v Speaker 1>saying Doctor is nine hundred P. Some people saying ten ADP.
<v Speaker 1>I wouldn't be surprised if, like cut scenes in certain
<v Speaker 1>parts of the game is ten eighty and does hit that,
<v Speaker 1>but then like heavy action scenes and running around in
<v Speaker 1>the wild, it dips down to nine hundred P. Something
<v Speaker 1>the switch does really well is dynamic resolutions, where it
<v Speaker 1>will constantly fluctuate the resolution to keep the frame rate steady,
<v Speaker 1>so it might hit tenndpt I'm just talking out my
<v Speaker 1>ass right now, but it might hit TENNADP at times.
<v Speaker 1>It probably dips down to nine hundred. It might even
<v Speaker 1>dip down to seven twenty while docked, depending on what's happening.
<v Speaker 1>But all of that would be to keep thirty fps well,
<v Speaker 1>whereas something that utilizes AI would lock ten edp, lock
<v Speaker 1>sixty fps, and that's bare minimum. There are all those
<v Speaker 1>rumors about the games come two years ago. I feel
<v Speaker 1>like I repeat myself so much. Where this game was
<v Speaker 1>running at four K sixty on the switch too hardware,
<v Speaker 1>which would of course be through AI upscaling. But honestly,
<v Speaker 1>for a game like this, which as you are pointing
<v Speaker 1>out chat could already hit TENADP in some scenarios on
<v Speaker 1>the switch one just at thirty, it's almost like just
<v Speaker 1>doing TENDP and sixty fps. While that's a big upgrade,
<v Speaker 1>isn't even that impressive? You know what would be impressive
<v Speaker 1>for this game four K four K even if you
<v Speaker 1>had the option like four K thirty frames which the
<v Speaker 1>rumor was sixty, but four K thirty, or like ten
<v Speaker 1>eighty sixty, or like a balanced mode, or like what
<v Speaker 1>PlayStation does you know? Two K two K. Two K
<v Speaker 1>is the other thing. A lot of people think they'll
<v Speaker 1>AI upscaled to two K rather than four K. I
<v Speaker 1>just I don't know about it. I feel like that
<v Speaker 1>is a realistic goal. I think at the point where
<v Speaker 1>you're AI upscaling, what's the difference? Yeah, two K, four K,
<v Speaker 1>it's all AI. What's the difference? What's the difference on
<v Speaker 1>a box if you're going to put it on the
<v Speaker 1>box or if you're going to use it in marketing?
<v Speaker 1>I feel like being able to say it does four
<v Speaker 1>k is more of a cell than be like two K.
<v Speaker 1>I feel like two K you almost don't even mention it. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>two K is almost like Nintendo doesn't even talk about
<v Speaker 1>the fact that it does that. It's just I feel
<v Speaker 1>like at that point, Nintendo's just going to be like,
<v Speaker 1>you get full resolutions or nice clean, crisp in images,
<v Speaker 1>but never actually say the resolution four K you're is
<v Speaker 1>something you can actually sell with where you can be
<v Speaker 1>like the new Switches four K and it does sixty
<v Speaker 1>frames for all.
<v Speaker 2>The hardware heads out there. Yeah, I think I think
<v Speaker 2>it's a selling point.
<v Speaker 1>For sure, But Nintendo don't often ever talk about those
<v Speaker 1>things anyway, So I could see them not even mentioning
<v Speaker 1>resolutions ever, because they never mentioned resolutions for anything, right,
<v Speaker 1>or frame rates for anything. They don't really care about
<v Speaker 1>that stuff. Yeah, it's a kid's toy, you know it is.
<v Speaker 1>But at the same time, I think the new one
<v Speaker 1>seems to be more like growing up. Maybe I'm wrong,
<v Speaker 1>but I think like the color scheme and like, no.
<v Speaker 2>I think I think you are right. I think you
<v Speaker 2>are right. I think that it's it's kind of teetering
<v Speaker 2>on the edge of like competing with like the you know,
<v Speaker 2>the row allies and the you know, things of things
<v Speaker 2>of that nature.
<v Speaker 1>It's a little more adult. I don't know why I
<v Speaker 1>get that vibe. Maybe because maybe you're just an adult now.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, maybe we're just not walking around the mall shouting
<v Speaker 2>about the new switch that's coming out, you know, sure,
<v Speaker 2>and waving your receipt in the air.
<v Speaker 1>Is that just my perception though, I'd like to know
<v Speaker 1>from chat, like, does this seem like a more upgraded
<v Speaker 1>almost like a it's gone from a toy to more
<v Speaker 1>of like a console, like a like a handheld.
<v Speaker 2>Like I think it's just because you're not because because
<v Speaker 2>it's not the neon.
<v Speaker 1>Well, yeah, but I think that's I think that's part
<v Speaker 1>of their branding and their image here is like this
<v Speaker 1>one's more like rough and ready. It's more like for
<v Speaker 1>the gamers for the game is you know we got
<v Speaker 1>the graphics now, yeah, we got the black sleek mm hmm,
<v Speaker 1>something about it. I don't know. Maybe my brain is
<v Speaker 1>just it's a little something for everybody, a little something
<v Speaker 1>for everybody. How long we've been going.
<v Speaker 2>Oh, we we're over time, We're an hour and four?
<v Speaker 1>What are you doing tonight? Are you trying to bounce?
<v Speaker 2>So I don't even know yet, like like I don't
<v Speaker 2>want to. I like, because I have, I got it.
<v Speaker 2>I got a hot date with with all streaming services
<v Speaker 2>including Spotify and Apple Music because I'm a rapper and
<v Speaker 2>I got music coming out tonight at midnight.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, him as a song dropping hot and fresh.
<v Speaker 2>Well it's already out, it's out on YouTube, but it's
<v Speaker 2>it's dropping on streaming services.
<v Speaker 1>So I wanted to, like, you know that was for
<v Speaker 1>the Wabbie thing, right, that was why you couldn't come
<v Speaker 1>to the Baby show.
<v Speaker 2>Well no, that well, yes, actually that is why because
<v Speaker 2>my editor was was down to the wire on that
<v Speaker 2>and I needed to be there for uploading and all
<v Speaker 2>that stuff.
<v Speaker 1>So, uh, check out him's social pipes for all of
<v Speaker 1>that good pipe. Yeah, check out him's pipes.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, check my pipes please, I.
<v Speaker 1>Mean, all right, whatever I mean we've got Uh, I
<v Speaker 1>still have several things in my dog.
<v Speaker 2>Hit me. Hit me with one thing. Hit me with
<v Speaker 2>one thing real quick before we go. All right, let's
<v Speaker 2>throw throw a dart at the computer and pick something.
<v Speaker 1>You know. This one's fun. Uh. So Max, you guys
<v Speaker 1>might remember used to he does our tiktoks. He's watching
<v Speaker 1>right now. He's been in chat. Great guy. Love him,
<v Speaker 1>Love him to death. He's part of the Nontendo crew. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>you just don't see him because we don't go to
<v Speaker 1>the studio much anymore because every time I ask e,
<v Speaker 1>he says no, it's not one hundred percent correct. He's
<v Speaker 1>always like, you can come whenever you want. And then
<v Speaker 1>whenever I ask, I can't come for someone. Oh no,
<v Speaker 1>it's not that I can't come. You can.
<v Speaker 2>You can always go.
<v Speaker 1>We can always open invitation. I have a key. I
<v Speaker 1>have a key to the studio. I can walk in.
<v Speaker 1>It's just every time I ask him, he's either with
<v Speaker 1>Guy Fieri shooting the grocery games, and or he's doing
<v Speaker 1>something with Bloomberg or whatever, and he's never there and
<v Speaker 1>he's like you can come. I'm like, I'm coming for you. Like,
<v Speaker 1>if I wanted to do this show with him and Max,
<v Speaker 1>I would bring him to my house. And Max, by
<v Speaker 1>the way, has an open invitation to drive down with you,
<v Speaker 1>but he just always doesn't.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think he doesn't either. I think it's also
<v Speaker 2>a matter of like actually planning it and making it happen.
<v Speaker 1>Planning that's not going on for sure.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. A lot of the time when we're doing the podcast,
<v Speaker 2>I hit you up this literally happened last night. I'll
<v Speaker 2>hit you up the night before and be like, so
<v Speaker 2>I'm coming down tomorrow, and you're like, if you.
<v Speaker 1>Want to, you know, very lousy. Yeah, I mean each
<v Speaker 1>week we know that it's happening unless you can.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>But at the same time, it's very much a last
<v Speaker 1>second like, yeah, of might comment, I guess.
<v Speaker 2>And contrary to the chats belief thinking that I'm getting
<v Speaker 2>fired all the time, the actual reality is that I
<v Speaker 2>do have a lot of things going on.
<v Speaker 1>If you're not here, it's only ever because you don't
<v Speaker 1>want to be here. Other than last week, I think
<v Speaker 1>because I was legitimate, I thought I was sick, and
<v Speaker 1>this week I've got diarrhea, like really bad, like the
<v Speaker 1>last two days. Kim and I were trying to go
<v Speaker 1>grocery shopping yesterday and I had to keep running to
<v Speaker 1>the bathroom.
<v Speaker 2>Let's back up, he said, I don't want to be here. No,
<v Speaker 2>it's because I can't be here. I do want to
<v Speaker 2>be here, Like there's difference between not wanting to be
<v Speaker 2>or not.
<v Speaker 1>It's your choice, not mine, right right, Yeah, other than
<v Speaker 1>last week, which it was my choice because I was
<v Speaker 1>worried I was getting sick. I was also contemplating not
<v Speaker 1>even doing the episode.
<v Speaker 2>Which I appreciate, by the way, I appreciate it telling
<v Speaker 2>me that you're feeling sick because I don't want to
<v Speaker 2>you know.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, I almost told you this week too. I was
<v Speaker 1>like last night, I was like, should I tell him
<v Speaker 1>I have I'm not going to catch your diarrhea rapid diarrhea.
<v Speaker 1>But other than that, I feel fine, like I'm healthy.
<v Speaker 1>I even worked out. I just had to keep running
<v Speaker 1>to the bathroom. I don't know what's wrong with me.
<v Speaker 1>It's like a foster.
<v Speaker 2>I can't turn off that's crazy. That's that's a bonus
<v Speaker 2>episode statement right there.
<v Speaker 1>I was worried I'd have to poop during this episode.
<v Speaker 2>Well we're good.
<v Speaker 1>We made it anyway. Max. You know him, you love him.
<v Speaker 1>He made a TikTok and uh talking about GameCube or something.
<v Speaker 1>I haven't actually watched it yet, but this is our
<v Speaker 1>old friend Max doing a TikTok about GameCube coming a switch.
<v Speaker 1>Huge news GameCube fans.
<v Speaker 3>Nintendo just made an FCC finally for a new controller
<v Speaker 3>with this image. To the untrained eye, this.
<v Speaker 1>May look like literally nothing. This editing is hilarious, Max.
<v Speaker 1>So the whole point of this is this is it.
<v Speaker 1>This is what they filed this, this square with a
<v Speaker 1>label logo. That's it. That is you're looking at it.
<v Speaker 1>But for some reason, everybody thinks that this controller that
<v Speaker 1>they filed this square is a GameCube controller. And this
<v Speaker 1>is Max TikTok about why.
<v Speaker 2>It's so bizarre?
<v Speaker 3>Really nothing but users on fami boards took this image
<v Speaker 3>and overlaid it onto the back of a game. I
<v Speaker 3>don't understand the controller and that label area lines up perfectly,
<v Speaker 3>does it?
<v Speaker 1>It's not really that perfect.
<v Speaker 2>He's wearing the marine car jacket.
<v Speaker 1>Oh shoot, he is, well, he's he lives in Brooklyn. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>he probably just popped over in Manhattan.
<v Speaker 2>He does. Yeah, he probably just had it.
<v Speaker 1>That's it. Yeah, isn't that exciting.
<v Speaker 3>That's nothing. It's probably just for the switch to pro
<v Speaker 3>controller or it's a new game cube control to play
<v Speaker 3>retro games on Nintendo Switch Online. Oh like how Nintendo
<v Speaker 3>made wireless controls for the NESN N sixty four games. Yeah,
<v Speaker 3>so this might mean we're getting GameCube games soon too.
<v Speaker 3>I already know the first game I'm gonna play, Huge
<v Speaker 3>News game.
<v Speaker 1>Very funny Max, but love Max.
<v Speaker 2>He did it such a good job with that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, it is ridiculous that that's enough for these people.
<v Speaker 1>You know what's funny is, uh, I went to I
<v Speaker 1>go to a grocery store here, and there's a guy
<v Speaker 1>there that recognizes me. He's very sweet. Yeah, and every
<v Speaker 1>time I come in he wants to talk and ask
<v Speaker 1>me questions about nintender stuff. And he stopped me like
<v Speaker 1>two days ago, and he was like, so GameCube coming
<v Speaker 1>in and switch online, you think it's funny?
<v Speaker 2>How do you feel about those interactions? By the way,
<v Speaker 2>when he gets stop, you're just trying to buy groceries.
<v Speaker 1>So I love him as a person, and I love
<v Speaker 1>that he's so enthusiastic, and I love that, like we
<v Speaker 1>get to just chat at the grocery store. It does
<v Speaker 1>suck to have to talk about work when I'm just
<v Speaker 1>trying to do shopping because I know it's silly because
<v Speaker 1>like you would think, like, of course, and this is
<v Speaker 1>no shade.
<v Speaker 2>I love it. I want him to stop, right, I
<v Speaker 2>don't want you to stop. I don't want you to
<v Speaker 2>like go to this and then have him just like
<v Speaker 2>wave at you.
<v Speaker 1>This is our point of contact. This is how you
<v Speaker 1>know me, this is the thing we have in common.
<v Speaker 1>Of course, this is what we're going to talk about.
<v Speaker 1>But for me, when everything I do for work is
<v Speaker 1>talking about this stuff and speculating this stuff, it's suddenly
<v Speaker 1>in the middle of looking for eggs overpriced eggs, I've
<v Speaker 1>got to like switch my brain back on and be like, oh, well,
<v Speaker 1>I think the chance is a slim because X, Y
<v Speaker 1>and Z I kind of I got to get back
<v Speaker 1>into podcasting. So it does feel like, all of a sudden,
<v Speaker 1>I'm talking about work, which is silly because it's video
<v Speaker 1>games and it's what I love doing.
<v Speaker 2>Work never stops when you're a content creator.
<v Speaker 1>So it is it is a little bit like I
<v Speaker 1>have to go well, I think, but it's fine because again,
<v Speaker 1>what are we going to talk about the weather? R?
<v Speaker 1>What was I going to say? Anyway? Yeah, he stopped
<v Speaker 1>me and he's like, what do you think am I?
<v Speaker 1>I said the same thing I always say. It's always
<v Speaker 1>my first thought. They can sell us GameCube games. They've
<v Speaker 1>been selling us GameCube gaps. They sold us Metroid, they
<v Speaker 1>sold us Luigi's Mansion. I feel like, right Sunshine they
<v Speaker 1>put into that pack, like every GameCube game that we've
<v Speaker 1>had on the switch and we've been able to play recently,
<v Speaker 1>they've been able to sell back to us. I don't
<v Speaker 1>know if their mindset changes there. I don't know if
<v Speaker 1>we're because we're another generation past it. Maybe it has
<v Speaker 1>fallen into retro. Maybe they can finally put that into
<v Speaker 1>another subsection of their brain where we can give these
<v Speaker 1>two people for free. You think about like, we still
<v Speaker 1>haven't got win Waker. You think that you think they're
<v Speaker 1>not going to charge us for win Waker. We're is
<v Speaker 1>gonna get win Waker for free?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, there's no I don't see a scenario where they
<v Speaker 2>have an intend to Switch online type thing like they
<v Speaker 2>have for n sixty four and for s NES where
<v Speaker 2>they just give us win Waker. I don't say. I
<v Speaker 2>don't see that happening, and I don't.
<v Speaker 1>See them giving us and then I switch online putting
<v Speaker 1>some games on it, but then still selling us win Waker.
<v Speaker 2>It's like, yeah, because they're still there's still old men
<v Speaker 2>in Nintendo and they don't think that GameCube is retro.
<v Speaker 1>Yet, you know, I agree. And it's also like then
<v Speaker 1>it's confusing even for this current library because you'll still
<v Speaker 1>have Metroid and games like that in the library physical
<v Speaker 1>that you can buy, alongside a Nintendo Switch Online app
<v Speaker 1>for GameCube that has like some of them for free.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. It doesn't make a lot.
<v Speaker 2>Of sense unless they switched it up and then they
<v Speaker 2>had the app for GameCube and then those were still
<v Speaker 2>paid games like some of them some of them you
<v Speaker 2>get for free, some of them were paid. That would
<v Speaker 2>be kind of cool. I mean, i'd that'd be sick,
<v Speaker 2>but you know, there's not. Again, there's too many good
<v Speaker 2>titles for GameCube that they're not just going to hand us.
<v Speaker 1>Max message me and Discord and I want to see
<v Speaker 1>what it.
<v Speaker 2>Says probably very funny guys.
<v Speaker 1>Oh, I don't think he said.
<v Speaker 2>He said it in chat too.
<v Speaker 1>He was like, oh, this is your discord. I got
<v Speaker 1>a DM from someone here as well.
<v Speaker 2>Don't do this, don't do this.
<v Speaker 1>I could see them doing a GameCube controller, though completely separate,
<v Speaker 1>independent from all of that checking your phone. I can't
<v Speaker 1>stand you, bro, because uh, I mean you think about
<v Speaker 1>like Smash for example, they could be doing a new
<v Speaker 1>Smash and they released a adapter for Smash the last ones,
<v Speaker 1>so you could use GameCube controllers, but they that you
<v Speaker 1>could use your old retro ones and they didn't have
<v Speaker 1>a way of reselling US controllers. They could be doing
<v Speaker 1>a whole line of GameCube controllers or a new GameCube
<v Speaker 1>controller and be selling that to us so that we
<v Speaker 1>can play win Waker with it, but they'll just also
<v Speaker 1>sell us win Waker. I don't think a GameCube controller
<v Speaker 1>is out of the question. I just think I don't
<v Speaker 1>know how they're going to balance doing a switch online
<v Speaker 1>free app alongside the ones we've been paying for. It
<v Speaker 1>would be cool if they randomly put out a GameCube
<v Speaker 1>switch on line app and it launches with Heck and
<v Speaker 1>win Waker and even maybe Twilight Princess the GameCube version,
<v Speaker 1>and then a bunch of other GameCube games, and they're like, ah,
<v Speaker 1>here you.
<v Speaker 2>Go, all for the price of Nintendo Switch Online.
<v Speaker 1>Or maybe even like the like the Metro Prime Trilogy.
<v Speaker 1>You know this remaster one that we got that you
<v Speaker 1>can buy. It's a remaster they remade the game, but
<v Speaker 1>like the original one that you could just play that
<v Speaker 1>for free on the switch on line app.
<v Speaker 2>You know.
<v Speaker 1>I mean, it's not it's not out of the realm
<v Speaker 1>of possibility. I mean, also, let me let me let
<v Speaker 1>me think about this some more. Here also something that
<v Speaker 1>they've built for the Switch one and they've been charging
<v Speaker 1>us for. Are these apps? These like retro apps?
<v Speaker 2>Right?
<v Speaker 1>But we've kind of juiced them. We're out of the
<v Speaker 1>good nes nets games. There might be some hidden little
<v Speaker 1>gems that they haven't done yet short but for the
<v Speaker 1>most part, the big ones are juiced. We're moving into
<v Speaker 1>a new generation. What are they going to do? Just
<v Speaker 1>keep those ones? I think the next thing to add
<v Speaker 1>after n sixty four, if you want to keep adding
<v Speaker 1>value in and keep providing this as a service, which
<v Speaker 1>they might not even do. They might just stop doing it.
<v Speaker 1>But the next one to add is either DS, which
<v Speaker 1>we talked about the possibility there, or GameCube for home console.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. So, uh yeah, I think that Nintendo has proven
<v Speaker 2>themselves to be greedy enough for a long time that
<v Speaker 2>that they wouldn't just give it to us. But it
<v Speaker 2>would be a nice it would be a nice little gift,
<v Speaker 2>a nice little benevolent gift, you know, if Nintendo gave
<v Speaker 2>it to us, I do. I mean here's the thing though,
<v Speaker 2>like maybe, and this is super speculative and like not
<v Speaker 2>even probably not even true, but it's like, what if
<v Speaker 2>they only gave it to us on switch too? It's like,
<v Speaker 2>if you want this, then you got to get.
<v Speaker 1>A switch to Oh that's definitely a thing.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah yeah you think what like for GameCube on Nintendo's
<v Speaker 2>which I think.
<v Speaker 1>No, yeah, yeah, because it's it's I mean, we're moving forward,
<v Speaker 1>not backwards. Yeah, releasing things for the switch one, And
<v Speaker 1>isn't an incentive for people to buy the switch too?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah? So well, I mean that offsets the cost of redeveloping,
<v Speaker 2>I guess, not redeveloping these games, but also maybe what
<v Speaker 2>are they even doing right because it's just an emulator, right,
<v Speaker 2>It's just an emulator.
<v Speaker 1>I think they would also run a lot better on
<v Speaker 1>switch too. I mean, I'm sure a lot of these
<v Speaker 1>games would run fine on Switch one, but I know
<v Speaker 1>some of them chunk like Smash Brothers is notoriously pretty heavy.
<v Speaker 1>That Melee I've tried running that on some like retro
<v Speaker 1>consoles and Android tablets, and they don't does not run
<v Speaker 1>very well. So I think utilizing the switch too hardware
<v Speaker 1>to get some really cool performances out of old GameCube
<v Speaker 1>games and also giving people another reason to buy a
<v Speaker 1>switch to and to upgrade their membership to get GameCube
<v Speaker 1>games now, I think that's a much bigger push and
<v Speaker 1>cool concept. Then hey, it's on both. Do you just
<v Speaker 1>keep your switch one right? Yeah, So it's an interesting idea. Him,
<v Speaker 1>thanks for bringing that to my attention.
<v Speaker 2>Sometimes they come, you know, sometimes.
<v Speaker 1>I really flipped on that. I went from a pretty
<v Speaker 1>hard stance to breaking it down, and now I'm kind
<v Speaker 1>of like it could go either way. Actually, yeah, I
<v Speaker 1>could see them doing you know, especially like even right now.
<v Speaker 1>It feels a little weird, but we get like three
<v Speaker 1>or four years into the switch too, and we're in
<v Speaker 1>like pretty close to twenty thirty category, Yeah, which feels insane.
<v Speaker 1>To even say that out loud, and the GameCube is
<v Speaker 1>what when that come out? Two thousand and two? Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>two three, I want to say, so we're almost, oh
<v Speaker 1>like you that we're almost thirty years away from GameCube. Yeah,
<v Speaker 1>at that point, maybe doing it for a switch online app.
<v Speaker 1>Isn't that crazy?
<v Speaker 2>A thirty year anniversary is like a big thing that's wild.
<v Speaker 1>Well, the actual thirty year anniversary I think would be
<v Speaker 1>twenty thirty two, which I think is a little too
<v Speaker 1>far in if they're going to do it, I think
<v Speaker 1>they give that to us within the first three or
<v Speaker 1>four years, getting pretty close to thirty. But even if
<v Speaker 1>they held out for the thirtieth, we're closer.
