00:00:06 Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous, Welcome back to the bonus episode of We Give Them. 00:00:09 Speaker 2: A La Podcast. 00:00:11 Speaker 1: I was just bombarded with all of the news of like four new shows coming on to Bravo. We spoke about it a little bit on the regular episode, and we talked about how we were not fully down for one of the names. We're still in the house. This is the final episode that we'll be in the house. Should we high fivednnis? 00:00:35 Speaker 2: It's just a lot. The house is chaotic. 00:00:39 Speaker 1: Every time I feel like we've got peace and quiet, the neighbor decides that it's time for their yard to be blown. 00:00:46 Speaker 3: I can That's the thing I can always tell by looking at Dennis how things are going. 00:00:51 Speaker 2: Face is usually not well. 00:00:53 Speaker 4: Bitch, not in the house. 00:00:56 Speaker 1: He is going to be the happiest when we're in the studio anyway. So we have like a four new shows. Like I said, it's the Valley Persian style with Reza and MJ. You've got the wife swap Real Housewives addition, Real Housewives of Rhode Island. Yeah, Rhode Island. We'll see and then it could be the thing that we want the most, Like if you think about it, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was so random. The only reason I was excited is because we're from there. But if you were from like, you know, different, such a weird Yeah, there's a lot of shows coming at it, like that's the thing. 00:01:40 Speaker 4: It's like Colt. 00:01:44 Speaker 3: State that people are so or it looks like that that you're so intrigued on just all of it. Yeah, like think of everything that's come out of there, even like the girl who kept her two children the Roads. 00:02:01 Speaker 1: Yeah, Ruby, Ruby, Frankie Paul. 00:02:03 Speaker 3: No, Frankie Paul is that's Taylor Frankie Paul and that's Mormon Wives of. 00:02:10 Speaker 1: Oh, it's just Ruby frank Franky's just Utah's strange and people are very into the weirdness. And then Ladies of London is coming back, So I wanted to know from you guys, and it didn't have to be exclusive to the Bravo universe. But what shows do you go? You know what that needs to make a comeback? And I have to say reality TV is made so differently now like it used to be like you were just a fly on the wall and there were just cameras placed in rooms and there was no storyline. There was very little production that went into it. 00:02:55 Speaker 4: Yeah, right, get I mean Jersey Shore. 00:03:00 Speaker 1: It's like one of the first ones that comes to mind. 00:03:02 Speaker 3: They just literally had cameras in the corners and a DUC phone. 00:03:06 Speaker 1: Yeah, and then you just played v well because when people are getting that wasted, you can't control them and like curate a scene. 00:03:15 Speaker 4: No, but they picked those like that cast was perfectly picked. 00:03:21 Speaker 1: Yeah. 00:03:21 Speaker 4: How they did it. 00:03:22 Speaker 1: Beyond me, And that's why I think it's really hard. And I wanted to know from you guys for this bonus, like what shows. 00:03:29 Speaker 2: Would you like to see rebooted? 00:03:31 Speaker 1: And I even thought back to like The Simple Life, like that was so good, such a classic. But because there's so much reference now with reality TV, it is really hard to make an organic reality TV show because it's the modern day soap opera. So everybody who's watching reality TV and says, oh my gosh, we should have a show. You go in and you're like trying to kind of create a script for your self, if that makes sense, because you want to come across a certain way. And that's why I think us talking about the Valley is I think a lot of those people, even though they were friends with a lot of reality TV personalities. They weren't like sitting down and watching. They weren't like avid reality TV watchers. No, I don't think Janet I think has seen some things. 00:04:26 Speaker 4: Yeah, but I think the majority of them know. 00:04:29 Speaker 1: Yeah, they're like busy, just living normal lives and like being parents, and they get this opportunity to be on a show and they're like, all right, that sounds like fun whatever, You're just gonna document me like being a parent. Little did they know kids are cute but like not that fun to watch? 00:04:44 Speaker 4: Oh? 00:04:46 Speaker 2: Yes, they're yours right exactly. 00:04:50 Speaker 1: Sometimes I feel bad when I talk about ocean as much as I do on the podcast or because I'm like does anyone really care? Because when someone comes up to me and they're like, oh, I have to show you my baby, I'm like, I'll indulge them because I know that I want people to like engage with me and talk about how cute my kid is. 00:05:06 Speaker 2: But it's like, do any of us really care. 00:05:09 Speaker 3: It's like somebody's showing you a photo of like their vacation. It's like, I don't care because I'm not in any of those photos. 00:05:14 Speaker 1: But then I want you to sit there and look at all the vacation photos from me. 00:05:20 Speaker 4: Oh by the way, though. 00:05:21 Speaker 1: If you're listening and you have a kid, like, please show me photos of your kid. It does make me happy. 00:05:26 Speaker 4: There's the thing right there. I feel like, because you have a kid, there's you. Right. 00:05:31 Speaker 3: I only care about my nieces and nephew, right, and like I only. 00:05:36 Speaker 4: Care about their photos. 00:05:37 Speaker 3: But like if I'm like if somebody was like, let me show you my niece and nephew, ed go, no, thank you? 00:05:43 Speaker 4: Right? So going back you go missing? 00:05:45 Speaker 1: Right, like going back to watching TV? Yes, I like the little inserts that The Valley does of like today, right now, I'm making a pancake for Cruise and it's like cute to see him like run around and be a kid, and it shows like I like that they're like totally on mom duty. But now let's get into the meat of like the drama. 00:06:05 Speaker 3: Yeah they do show cut scenes are really good on The Valley. 00:06:09 Speaker 1: I think, yeah, they do an excellent job. They do an excellent job when they do. 00:06:13 Speaker 2: All of those like little b rolls with all the Bravos. 00:06:16 Speaker 1: Yes, what show would you want to come back? 00:06:19 Speaker 2: Reality? He says, like wife Swap? 00:06:24 Speaker 1: Did you watch a wife Swap? 00:06:25 Speaker 4: No? 00:06:26 Speaker 3: Isn't that where they'd go into the other house and like they'd be the mom to the other terrible two kids. 00:06:31 Speaker 4: Yeah, and just get dreamed up and down. 00:06:33 Speaker 1: I liked the Nanny Show where the kids were like really really horrendous. 00:06:38 Speaker 3: Yeah, they put him in check. Yes, and there's one little kid and it's my favorite. I always go back to see it when I need it. He packs a bag because he's so mad at the other the nanny, and he just leaves. He goes, I'll call back in three days when you're gone. 00:06:55 Speaker 4: It's so great. I don't know. 00:06:58 Speaker 3: He's a London kid though, so he has a lax so it's so great. I'm leaving and you not following me. 00:07:04 Speaker 2: Oh, that is so cute, so cute. 00:07:06 Speaker 1: How old was he do you think? 00:07:07 Speaker 4: Probably like six seven? 00:07:10 Speaker 3: Bag he's out of it suitcase and like the camera's fall and he's like talking to the camera as he's like fold this stuff up and. 00:07:17 Speaker 4: Putting it in the bag. She she doesn't know what we eat for dinner? 00:07:22 Speaker 1: Wait? 00:07:23 Speaker 4: Is he British? I don't know what tack? Wow? 00:07:26 Speaker 1: Okay, I don't think Heson knows what the hell he was watching. 00:07:29 Speaker 4: No, but if I do it's our buddy. 00:07:32 Speaker 3: I am excited to see his shows. 00:07:35 Speaker 4: It's the remake of Room Raiders. 00:07:36 Speaker 3: I don't know what it's called, but that's like, but that is one show that I really did like or he killed it. Like Next with the Big Bus, Oh what was that one? They just lined up and somebody was in the bus, like a guy or a girl, and then there was just a line of people, like if there was a guy on the bus, then it was a line of girls and they would go up and it was like a speed date. 00:07:58 Speaker 4: Oh my god. 00:07:59 Speaker 3: And then if you take just go next, and then they would go off the other side of the bus and somebody would walk up. 00:08:04 Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. MTV had so many good shows. What was that other ship? And you made me lose my It was next. 00:08:14 Speaker 4: Parental Control, We Control. 00:08:17 Speaker 5: That was the one where the parents would have to sit with the with the boyfriend or girlfriend and watch the other one go on a date. So let's say like, oh, she went on a date you and like her dad would have to sit with the boyfriend and watch her go on the other day with another guy and see his reaction. 00:08:35 Speaker 2: Because we don't like the boys. 00:08:37 Speaker 4: You don't like the boys. 00:08:38 Speaker 3: Parents pick yes, guys, and then they were on the couch and like the dad's like, see. 00:08:43 Speaker 4: That's how you treat a lady. 00:08:44 Speaker 5: That's why you don't do you don't open the door for me. 00:08:48 Speaker 4: And then they're just sitting there and they're like, I don't need to I got looks he's ugly or just things like that. 00:08:53 Speaker 1: It is, yes, parental control, dude, they killed it. MTV was putting out bag left or right? 00:09:01 Speaker 4: All right, those are my two. 00:09:03 Speaker 1: All right. Krugash says, MTV's Real World, but make it Bravo. Okay, So I'm wondering if they're like, we're gonna do a Real World themed show. But does she want Bravo celebrities or does she want the production style? Because here's the thing. When you're watching a reality show, you know when it's done by Hulu, you know when like there's such a specific tone to it, you know when it's done by VH one, MTV, Bravo. So maybe she's talking about the tone of it. Okay, that would be wild because the Real World they were like stuck in that house together. Yeah. Did you know that Cameron from Southern Charm was on Real World? San Diego and she was only on for like six or seven seasons, which is actually a lot, and then she quit. She quit doing reality TV. And she's like married to a doctor. She has one daughter. She like lives in South Carolina and lives the dream. 00:09:59 Speaker 4: Good for her s. 00:10:01 Speaker 1: Smack twenty two. The Millionaire match Maker? Do you remember that? 00:10:05 Speaker 4: I don't remember that. 00:10:06 Speaker 1: You don't remember the millionaire match Maker? No? 00:10:08 Speaker 4: Would they just like match up two millionaires? 00:10:10 Speaker 1: No, so the guy would be a millionaire and you'd bring in like a bunch of women and see who would like him. And he was usually like a little bit unfortunate, but he was rich. 00:10:22 Speaker 4: Okay. 00:10:22 Speaker 3: I kind of like my new idea though, millionaire matchmaking, because I mean, find millionaires and try to. 00:10:30 Speaker 1: Hook them up the other a millionaire. 00:10:31 Speaker 4: Yeah, like a woman millionaire. 00:10:33 Speaker 3: There's so many I think they did that, okay, because I like that one better. 00:10:37 Speaker 1: Okay, So you just like the female being the one who's the millionaire. 00:10:41 Speaker 3: And the guy both of them like trying to find million like two millionaires meeting each other, not a millionaire and then. 00:10:47 Speaker 4: Just some all right. 00:10:49 Speaker 2: I like that. 00:10:50 Speaker 4: I like that more honesty betwixt the. 00:10:52 Speaker 6: Two, right, and not a use like your idea very different on like even I can't even talk to like dre when I'm talking to him. 00:11:03 Speaker 1: We are our nephew. 00:11:05 Speaker 4: Yeah, we're at. 00:11:05 Speaker 3: Fifteen and like what he is talking about is so off of what I even know. It's like we have nothing in common. But we do add another fifteen to that. 00:11:16 Speaker 4: What. 00:11:17 Speaker 1: Yeah, but I like your idea of having both people being like they're both financially set. 00:11:24 Speaker 4: Yeah, or just like sad owners. 00:11:26 Speaker 1: That has nothing to do with what's going on in the mixes that do I enjoy you? Am I attracted to you? 00:11:32 Speaker 3: And how hard is it for people with money to find I think it's true love. 00:11:38 Speaker 1: I think it's hard for anything that is true. 00:11:41 Speaker 2: It is a wild. 00:11:42 Speaker 4: Because I'm broken ship and I still can't find it. That's absolutely untrue about what being broke or the other or s. 00:11:50 Speaker 1: Max twenty two also said that they're excited for the new shows show. I'm excited too, I'm just not excited. 00:11:55 Speaker 4: I don't love the name. The name is not great. Do we have any other people on that show? 00:12:02 Speaker 1: We haven't been introduced to the rest of the cast. The only people I know of our MJ and Reza. 00:12:08 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:12:08 Speaker 1: And then Jordan Mayer says, Manzo with children. I miss that family. So Carolyn Manzo was on the original Real House Lives of New Jersey. 00:12:20 Speaker 2: She had the red short hair. 00:12:22 Speaker 1: And she was like the matriarch of the whole friend group, Like she was like the godfather, right, and her word was gold and she just had like such a presence with the friend group. But she also was, you know, like the head of her family, and she loved and respected her husband, and they had like this beautiful marriage. They ended up getting their own show. She has two sons and a daughter mourn and then it's Chris and Albi, And I think Chris Chris is still single. I believe he's not married, and then Albi, I believe just got married. I love that family. Her sons have always been like so kind every time I've seen them. 00:13:03 Speaker 2: I never watched that show. 00:13:06 Speaker 1: But it gives me almost like the Italian Kardashians. 00:13:10 Speaker 2: Vibe as well as it could have been. 00:13:13 Speaker 1: Because if you think back keeping up with the Kardashians, they were like making sheet cakes and having barbecues and like flying drones, you know, like totally normal. Yeah, And I feel like the Manzo family could bring that to us and almost like keep that, like keep the roots, okay, because I don't think any family will blow up like the Kardashians ever. 00:13:35 Speaker 3: Again, No, I feel like that was perfect timing, perfect, just everything everything. 00:13:40 Speaker 4: It was just like that was the family that slid in it. 00:13:43 Speaker 2: Yeah, wild, Yeah. 00:13:45 Speaker 4: I want to give the man. Is it on still? Like I can go back and watch it? Yes, I'm sure you. 00:13:51 Speaker 1: Could go on and watch it. Annie Collette, I feel like the og VPR story isn't over, even if some people don't reach. How do you feel about that? Easton story's done? 00:14:04 Speaker 4: Books closed? 00:14:05 Speaker 1: I think the story's kind of done too, But so often I'm like, how could it work of like having maybe you know, if there was talks about Schwartzy still wanting to do a show. Sandoval is in his own little world and I don't think he kicks it really with anybody. Yeah, you're right, story's done. Jackson, Brittany are on back on TV. 00:14:28 Speaker 2: They've got Dody. 00:14:30 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:14:31 Speaker 3: I think it's just done, and if anything, it's just make a new show or add to us. 00:14:36 Speaker 2: Which they did the Valley. 00:14:37 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:14:38 Speaker 1: But one person did say I think there should be an official farewell of the past VPR cast, and that I know that they were talking about they were going to do one more season. They weren't going to make any of us film with each other. If we didn't want to anything that didn't make sense, they wouldn't have happened. They would just show where everyone was in their life. It would be like six episodes, so very quick shooting. You could knock it out three four weeks to get that many episodes. 00:15:07 Speaker 4: Yeah, but would you want to? 00:15:11 Speaker 1: No, the story was done for. 00:15:12 Speaker 4: Me, and that's the other thing of how I feel like. 00:15:15 Speaker 1: I'm not having fun anymore. 00:15:16 Speaker 3: Yeah, And in my opinion, yes, they could come in and do that and show what you guys are doing now, But it's like that's what you're like Instagram's and everything else, your social. 00:15:28 Speaker 1: Show, right, Like, no one wants to come in and like show what we're doing in our lives because you could just go and see a story. 00:15:37 Speaker 3: Like if I'm going to watch the final season and it's like the farewell, you guys aren't even filming. 00:15:44 Speaker 4: I'm most people are there for the juice. 00:15:46 Speaker 3: I want to see fight I'm not. Yeah, like people are filming by themselves. I'll just go to your Instagram and look up what you did for the day. 00:15:52 Speaker 1: You know what is crazy is when I gave birth to Sosa, we were like someone coming out of the pan or not Sosa Ocean. We were somewhat in the pandemic, but kind of coming out of it. And I had a lot of time to just kind of be there in that beginning newborn stage with her. And you know, I think most people they're lucky to get like six weeks off. I think I think between like six or eight weeks. I had like a full three months of doing absolutely nothing yea with Ocean, and then Sosa comes into the mix, and it's the first year that I don't have to go film a show. I have been able to be with Sosa and Ocean every single day, taking Ocean to school, picking her up, taking her to her dance classes. I have been able to be fully present during this time of both my kids' lives. And I just find that to be such a crazy way that the universe has worked to allow me to do that. 00:16:55 Speaker 3: And you gotta think about that anytime you like start to get in your own head, because that is a blessing. Because I, like I said, back when I was working nine to five a lot of people couldn't even take their kids to school because the work they'd have to do other things. 00:17:10 Speaker 4: They couldn't pick up their kids from school because you know, they were at work or their lunch break. 00:17:15 Speaker 3: They would pick up their kids, take them right home and then have to come back to work. There was an or you know, they'd go to daycare. 00:17:21 Speaker 4: You were off at five. 00:17:22 Speaker 3: Yeah, Like that's the thing where I seeing those moms and have to do Like, you're very blessed to be able to do the things that you do, but you've also worked your ass. 00:17:30 Speaker 4: Off to earn it. 00:17:32 Speaker 1: Sometimes I feel nervous though that I'm a little too comfortable, like I'm a little too comfortable being like you know what, I like this, I'll be right here, because then what happens to me is I wake up and go I feel stagnant. I'm too comfortable. I need something to change right now, this very very second. 00:17:51 Speaker 3: But that's why you just got to enjoy the times and enjoy the little moments that you don't feel like you need that. And when you wake up and you feel that feel it start working and then you'll pick it up and then you can relax. 00:18:04 Speaker 4: Yeah, a lot of people just don't. I need to get better at it. 00:18:07 Speaker 3: But it's like you've worked your ass off, enjoy the little time you're not doing anything, and when you do, think I got to do something. 00:18:14 Speaker 4: Now there you go. 00:18:15 Speaker 1: You got some energy something right now that I live a very well balanced life, that's the thing. 00:18:22 Speaker 4: Well, it's also like it's so uh. 00:18:26 Speaker 3: Second nature to you. For like, everything that you do that is a production is second nature to you. So it's not like it's work in a sense. 00:18:33 Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, Yeah, I do. 00:18:36 Speaker 4: Because you do work your ass off. 00:18:37 Speaker 3: But it's like when you were like, yeah, we didn't really do much, and I'm like, you were upstairs for two hours recording ads. I saw you on your laptop and you're like, I didn't it wasn't too busy. 00:18:48 Speaker 4: I'm like, yeah, but you were right, I think because I do a lot anywhere, I feel. 00:18:54 Speaker 3: But like you were mentally exhausted because you were constantly doing something. 00:19:00 Speaker 1: Oh you're telling me. The last two nights, Ocean and I have been in bed by like six watching Incredibles to eating popcorn and m and ms. It's been freaking awesome. Kyla La eighty seven Mob Wives. 00:19:10 Speaker 2: It was so good. 00:19:11 Speaker 1: Dreda was such a vibe big Ang. It was the best show ever besides VPR. I think Mob Wives was they would have to do. 00:19:23 Speaker 3: I forgot about that they would have to I mean that again, is just that casting was. 00:19:28 Speaker 1: So was so good, I know, and big A. 00:19:31 Speaker 4: Was like big Ange was. 00:19:32 Speaker 1: I mean she passed away, I know. And it was very devastating for everybody. 00:19:39 Speaker 4: Anybody who watched televisions. 00:19:41 Speaker 1: Yeah, everyone knew Biganje and Dreda. She was like so skinny but such a savage. 00:19:48 Speaker 4: It's almost a yeah, I want to really do what it's like. 00:19:52 Speaker 1: I think that would be it. 00:19:53 Speaker 4: That cast. 00:19:54 Speaker 1: No, and the way that reality TV works now as well is just a different beast. There's so much that goes into it. Yeah, and they would like go toes for real. They had to hide silverware plates. 00:20:07 Speaker 4: Yeah. 00:20:07 Speaker 3: They had actual bodyguard and security, not like what you guys have on your show. 00:20:13 Speaker 4: They had like what do they yell? 00:20:17 Speaker 1: I don't know Maury or Maury. 00:20:21 Speaker 3: On ma show. 00:20:22 Speaker 4: No that or the other way that you had though, that's who they had those type of security guards, right, big huge dude. Because I remember one of them just grabbed big and just holding their Big and A Unit. 00:20:40 Speaker 1: Fuck you up all those women. 00:20:43 Speaker 2: I freaking loved that show. 00:20:45 Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that that would probably be on my top yes, same like now that we talk about it. Next and Room Raiders have fallen solo on the list, not me. 00:20:54 Speaker 3: Room Raiders is still great and same with uh parental Control. 00:20:58 Speaker 4: All right? 00:20:59 Speaker 1: Well, after this, I'm no Google where I can watch all of those shows. You guys, I hope you enjoyed this bonus episode of To Give Them Alla podcast. We'll catch you on Wednesday for a regular old episode and again next week. 00:21:09 Speaker 2: Bye.
