00:00:00 Speaker 1: Welcome everyone. 00:00:01 Speaker 2: It is the Local Toy Dealers KSR postgame show Kentucky with a probably the performance of the year in Rupperna beating Vanderbilt ninety one seventy seven, and what really was from start to finish an excellent game by Kentucky to get a much needed victory that probably ensures they will not have to play on Wednesday in the SEC Tournament and will certainly be big coming for seeding. You can give shout a five to nine eight twenty two eighty seven. I am at KS bar and grill where it's been an exciting day here both before the game, during it, and now folks here some hanging out after. Right now Kansas and Arizona are playing. It's forty to thirty three Arizona, but all of our attention was on RP and I think this was Kentucky's best performance of the year against a good team from start to finish. 00:00:55 Speaker 1: They led right out of the gate. 00:00:58 Speaker 2: Colin Chandler hit a couple big threes to start and really never took their foot off the gas, going up ten early and once they got a double digit lead, basically kept at the entire game, went all the way up at one point it was twenty two, but really stayed between twenty two and thirteen the entire game. Vanderbilt would make shots, but then Kentucky would make a big play. Lot of people to stand out, We'll start with Colin Chandler. Five threes in the first half, six for the game. He gave Kentucky the spread that they really needed throughout. 00:01:30 Speaker 1: But he didn't just make threes. 00:01:32 Speaker 2: I thought he penetrated, he was able to pass at the right times. 00:01:36 Speaker 1: He was excellent. 00:01:37 Speaker 2: Denzel Aberdeen quiet but with fifteen points also, I thought played excellent, really good distribution. 00:01:44 Speaker 1: You know the staff that I heard today, I had no idea this was true. 00:01:49 Speaker 2: Sixteen assists and one turnover in the last four games. 00:01:54 Speaker 1: Sixteen assists in one turn them. 00:01:56 Speaker 2: That's a pretty amazing, pretty amazing thing to see him do. And he was excellent leading the team and really playing with just playing with a calm, but able to penetrate and score. I've been so impressed by him. Oh way in the second half was excellent. When he gets that head of steam and starts going to the basket, there's nobody better in the country at with a head of steam getting to the rim. And then today he finished. Kentucky was twelve of fourteen on layups. Today we've talked a lot about the missing layups in games. Twelve of fourteen on layups. I thought Malachi Moreno was excellent, eleven points. He had four different post up scores with his back to the basket, which we really haven't seen a lot from him this year, one on one moves where he would get little hook shots or a little post up moves. I thought Malachi was great. If I just get him to grab the ball a little stronger, I think he would be We don't want him be too good, or he might not be here, but he'd be in the NBA. 00:02:57 Speaker 1: But he is. I thought he played well. 00:02:59 Speaker 2: And then the guys who are the reserves, who when they've gone in the game, it has been a problem for Kentucky. I thought tonight they had played their role. Willy really well. Diabate's been really good in the last few games. Thought he was again you got to give him one shot a half where he gets the ball, but he's gonna shoot it no matter what. But the way he finished at the rim was excellent. Brandon Garrison I felt like had some really good moments tonight. Brandon Garrison played really good defense, I thought for a lot of the game, got some buckets. Jasper Johnson came in, especially in the first half and was very effective, and then Yellovich hit threes early. Didn't play a lot in the second half, but with sixteen minutes I thought was played really well too. 00:03:44 Speaker 1: A total team effort. 00:03:46 Speaker 2: When you get all eight guys who played a lot of minutes, when you get them all contributing this box score tonight is what I think an effective Kentucky team looks like. Starters play most of the minutes, Reserves im in hold, serve, starters extend the lead. And that's what happened. And I was really impressed with the entire game. I thought Mark Pope had a great game plan. They attacked, they were able to not make the mistakes that they made last game, and they attacked Vandy at their weakness. They did a just high ball screens. If Vandy did not extend out, they would shoot the three. If they came out, they'd roll with a basket, and if they gave the guy with the ball a step, he would get to the rim. And really Vandy had no answer for it. I thought it was the best offensive game, the best offensive game Kentucky's played all season, So you gotta be happy about it. And the impact of this game is huge. So let's just start with the SEC tournament. Kentucky now ten and six in the conference, play at A and M and play Florida. I think if Texas loses another game and they played Texas A and M, actually I think, Billy, are they playing right now Texas and Texas. 00:04:59 Speaker 3: AM I'll check. 00:05:01 Speaker 2: If Texas A and M wins right now, then I think Kentucky is guaranteed to not play on Wednesday, But if not, Texas will basically have to win out for us to not play on Wednesday. Right now, it's basically tied Texas thirty one to thirty. So and if Kentucky beats A and M, it will also ensure they don't play on Wednesday. But probably by winning, they've ensured they don't play on Wednesday. And what's crazy is they now have a chance. It's a small chance, but it's a chance to get a double by if they beat A and M and Alabama beats Tennessee tonight, there is a process they can get a double by. Even if they lose to Florida, which would be kind of amazing, but that process does exist if they beat A and M. So the worst case scenario, which was you know you were gonna have to play on Wednesday at one o'clock, that is a very very unlikely scenario because of the wind. You also got your fourth top twenty net win. No team in the SEC has four wins in conference in the top twenty. That's big because when it comes to seating, they really look at who you beat. As j Billis often says, you can anybody can lose a game, who did you beat? And they really focus on who you beat. Kentucky now has beaten a lot of good teams with this win, and then when you get to the NCAA tournament, there was some talk amongst some bracket people online that Kentucky right now might. 00:06:34 Speaker 1: Be a sixth seed. 00:06:35 Speaker 2: Most of the teams on the six seven line of the seating they all lost today, So Kentucky is probably looking at a sixth seed today. 00:06:43 Speaker 1: And if you beat A and M. 00:06:45 Speaker 2: I think you can make a strong argument that they're gonna be a sixth seed, which when you consider where they were during the course of the year, that's pretty awesome. So if you want to see Kentucky make a run in March, I'm not sure you could have had much of a better result than today. They had the three guards who I guess Otaga Oway has named the three guards Aberdeen, Oway, and Chandler the three three headed goat. 00:07:14 Speaker 1: Do you like that, Milly? The three headed goat for Oway, Aberdeen and Chandler. 00:07:19 Speaker 3: No, but they are really important. You got to have two of those three on the court at all times. 00:07:23 Speaker 1: I think. 00:07:23 Speaker 2: No, I mean they're not, they're not. They are the most I mean, they are eighty percent of our offense. And the three headed Goat. You're trying to say Oway can't name himself the three headed Goats. 00:07:34 Speaker 3: He can name himself whatever he wants. 00:07:35 Speaker 2: But okay, Well, the three headed Goat had a big impact in the game, and they're playing well. You've gotten good contribution from four different big men, and then today Jasper was able to uh to play good minutes too. 00:07:51 Speaker 1: So I'm very happy. 00:07:52 Speaker 2: I think the results in other games have have come out well, and so tonight, if you're rooting for Kentucky, I would say, hope Alabama beats Tennessee and hope Florida beats Arkansas. If you want to see Kentucky have the best chance of having a good SEC tournament, run root for Alabama over Tennessee. Root for Florida over Arkansas. Both of those results would be good for the Cats. If I'm nine two eighth twenty two eighty seven, I'm here at Ksbar, feel free to come out and say hello. If you're sitting in traffic coming home from Mark Pope, we will take your calls. It is a celebratory Saturday as the Cats win a big one over Vanderbilt ninety one seventy seven. We'll take a break and be right back. It's the Local Toy Dealers KSR post game Show. 00:08:35 Speaker 1: Welcome back. 00:08:36 Speaker 2: It is the Local Toy Dealers KSR postgame Show. The Cats get a big win against Vanderbilt. We are here at Chaos Bar and grill couple. Let me give a couple of little shout outs. First of all, Guy writes in and says, Madam'm walking down the street in Hamilton, Ohio, and I forgot my air pods and so I'm just letting it blair on the street. So hello to Hamilton, Ohio. And if you're hearing this, guy phone, you know what we won. You have to listen to my voice. That's just the way it goes. He forgot his AirPods, that's okay. Also, shout out to one of our biggest fans, me Ma, I know is listening in Glasgow. 00:09:11 Speaker 1: Hope you're doing doing great. And then you know. 00:09:15 Speaker 2: All the people who I see holding the phone up to their ear here at the bar, Thank you guys for coming out too. 00:09:21 Speaker 1: I appreciate it. We like to try to. 00:09:25 Speaker 2: We'd love to be able to play it over the intercom here, but when the callers call it echoes and so we're not able to do it. But it's nice to see everybody, and it's neat, Billy. I'm looking around. All these people have the phone up to their ear so they're listening to you. Did you have any important insight on the game before. 00:09:41 Speaker 1: We use the call? 00:09:42 Speaker 3: That is cool. We know that you're in a good mood when you start shouting people out on the radio too. 00:09:46 Speaker 1: It's true, that's true. Yes. 00:09:48 Speaker 2: And also a big shout out right here to the front row the UK baseball team with a big win today. 00:09:53 Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I can give you a shout out right here. 00:09:56 Speaker 2: Give a big shout out to our UK baseball guy right here, and they beat Saint John's. Say, oh he's turning red. That's okay. You you got a big win. You get it. They won the series against Saint John's the finish win. What times the game tomorrow for people who want to go one o'clock at Kentucky. 00:10:12 Speaker 1: Proud Park tomorrow? 00:10:14 Speaker 2: Uh as UK plays Saint John's AF I'm nine two eight zero twenty two eighty seven, let's get first, Billy, who's up? 00:10:20 Speaker 3: I did want to say one thing. Brandon Garrison sure did get smacked in the face today, didn't he? 00:10:24 Speaker 1: First of all, that call, how did he should have been kicked out? 00:10:28 Speaker 2: And I'm not somebody who's normally kicked someone out, but that was after the whistle when he got hit in the face. If that would have been in the regular course of play, then that would be a flagrant foul. But to get hit in the face like that after the whistle, because I mean, I think the announcers I don't know if tom And and Dane were one hundred percent clear although they said it the foul, that was not even the foul, Billy. The foul was before that. That was after the foul. So to me, that's to me, I don't know how they don't kick him out there, don't you. 00:11:00 Speaker 3: No, they should have. But I did enjoy Dug shows trying to announce it and then like that started booing him. 00:11:06 Speaker 2: And that was a terrible call on the three where they called the foul on Chandel. 00:11:09 Speaker 3: Uh huh, Yeah, come on, he tripped him. 00:11:11 Speaker 1: That was that was That was a terrible call. 00:11:13 Speaker 2: I mean, I actually don't mind that call when it happens, but I don't think that that happened right there. 00:11:19 Speaker 1: Do you? 00:11:20 Speaker 3: Yeah, he tripped him. 00:11:22 Speaker 1: You think he did trip it? 00:11:23 Speaker 3: He did, but I mean didn't impact anything. I don't know, not the shot. 00:11:27 Speaker 2: Hey, thank you guys, appreciate it. See I'm being nice, billy, I'm talking to people. 00:11:32 Speaker 1: Uh no, you you would have called that foul. 00:11:34 Speaker 3: Yeah, I think he tripped him. It's what the rule is. 00:11:37 Speaker 1: But that's just how he shoots. 00:11:40 Speaker 3: You know, you can't do that. I mean, you could just can't shoot. 00:11:44 Speaker 1: He didn't kick it out. I think that you're wrong on that. I think when they kick it to. 00:11:49 Speaker 2: The side to try to draw a foul, I'm fine with that call. 00:11:53 Speaker 1: But he just moved. He just kicked it forward. 00:11:56 Speaker 3: Yeah, you can't be just kicking your feet out like that every shtugo. 00:12:00 Speaker 1: By the way, I actually thought the officials were good tonight. 00:12:03 Speaker 2: I thought that was part of why the game was entertaining, is they kind of just let them play. And I actually thought, Billy the fowls, the officials were good. What did you think? 00:12:11 Speaker 4: Yeah? 00:12:11 Speaker 3: I agree, I agree. Besides that guy not getting kicked out than. 00:12:15 Speaker 2: I thought, the way they officiated that game led to it being much more entertaining. 00:12:20 Speaker 1: Of course, we won, so that's partially why I feel it. All Right, who's up first? 00:12:23 Speaker 3: Adam? 00:12:24 Speaker 1: Adam? Go ahead, Adam? 00:12:27 Speaker 5: Hey, what's mad? 00:12:28 Speaker 1: That's going on? 00:12:29 Speaker 6: Typically conservative? 00:12:31 Speaker 7: But I like to see the pods. Third, so I don't call Aberdeen, Chandler and Oway AOC. 00:12:39 Speaker 2: I like, you know what, we hadn't We hadn't noticed that before, so you were So are you saying, now, sir, that you are team AOC. 00:12:50 Speaker 7: When it comes you can tell you basketball, Yes, look at my. 00:12:53 Speaker 2: Man team AOC, Aberdeen, Oway and Chandler that I had not noticed that till right now. 00:13:00 Speaker 1: Well done, sir, appreciate the show, MAT appreciate you. I listen those three guys. 00:13:07 Speaker 2: Those three guys have been so excellent in this year, especially in SEC play, and you know Chandler when he gets hot like today, this is a very difficult team to guard. When he's out there, you see the lanes. It gives o way to the basket and then Aberdeen. I mean Tom Leach said that statistic Billy sixteen assists and one turnover in the last four games. 00:13:31 Speaker 3: Incredible. 00:13:32 Speaker 1: That is incredible. 00:13:34 Speaker 2: I mean that's for a point guard and he's playing thirty seven minutes a. 00:13:38 Speaker 3: Game, somebody that won a title last year bringing a lot of experience to this team right now. 00:13:43 Speaker 2: He had such a disappointing first half of the year and to turn it around like he's done, that's that. 00:13:50 Speaker 1: Really. 00:13:51 Speaker 2: I think he is the difference in the season the way he has played. I mean, look, we haven't been great in SEC player, but we were bad for the first two games of the SEC and really since then, his shift I think has been a big reason why Kentucky's been much better. 00:14:09 Speaker 1: Who's next, Jake, Jake, Go ahead, Jake, Hey. 00:14:14 Speaker 8: Matt, I just wanted to shout out a three point defense today because I know Chandler is getting all the praise and he definitely deserves it. But you know, Vanderbilt shot like seventy percent I think, if I'm right on from two point range, and the fact that we won a game by fourteen when that happened says a lot and I want to shout out. 00:14:33 Speaker 1: Wait, man, just hang on a second. 00:14:35 Speaker 2: Did you say did you say that Vandy shot seventy percent from two point range? 00:14:40 Speaker 1: Is that right? 00:14:42 Speaker 4: Yeah? 00:14:42 Speaker 8: Corey Price sweet that like thirty five minutes ago. I think it was saying that's amazing. 00:14:47 Speaker 1: Two. 00:14:48 Speaker 2: That is that is amazing to win a game with him shooting that percentage from two. 00:14:54 Speaker 8: Yeah, it was. It was unreal. And I don't know what Vandy shot from three. But the fact that we won that game by four teen, it just says so much about way channeling the career to night. So I just want to give them a shout out and appreciate you having me on. 00:15:06 Speaker 1: Yeah. 00:15:07 Speaker 2: So, yeah, you're right. So Vandy was seven of twenty eight from three, and they were thirty of fifty eight from the field, So that means, Billy, they. 00:15:15 Speaker 1: Were what twenty three of twenty three of thirty from two? 00:15:24 Speaker 2: Wow, twenty three of thirty from two and we won going away. 00:15:31 Speaker 3: Yeah, and UK has been so bad at guarding the three lately, so that's in. 00:15:34 Speaker 2: They missed some open ones as early, but we had a hand in their face most of the time. Nickel was three of twelve from three so and I think the two he hit were like back to back there and towards once the game was. 00:15:47 Speaker 3: Over, who's next, Isaac, Isaac? 00:15:49 Speaker 1: What's up? Isaac? 00:15:52 Speaker 4: Hey? 00:15:52 Speaker 5: What's going on? 00:15:52 Speaker 1: Guys? 00:15:53 Speaker 6: So I got lucky today. I want to shout out my buddy Greg. He won tickets to the lower level seats like right behind where the esp and guys are doing their announcing. So it was a whole new world for me just to be in the environment. It was a great environment. 00:16:08 Speaker 9: But just real quick, what was. 00:16:09 Speaker 1: The crowd like? 00:16:10 Speaker 2: By the way, it's so hard for me on these ESPN games to be able to tell the noise. 00:16:16 Speaker 1: What was it like? Was it loud? Oh? 00:16:19 Speaker 8: Yeah, so loud? 00:16:20 Speaker 6: And I know you guys are talking about you know you said the rest did good if you were in the arena. There was one rep in particularly. It wasn't even duck Shoots. It was one of his one of his guys meetings. Yeah, they were just like letting him have it because every call it seemed like he made that was controversial was going towards Vandy. 00:16:39 Speaker 2: So that was just yeah, he was he the one that was he the one that what was the call he made? I know which one you're talking about, because he had a couple of calls back to back that we're against us. 00:16:51 Speaker 6: You're right, yeah, man, everybody was letting him have it. But just just real quick, I wanted to shout out on the Moorhead State of line, I saw Rocky Atkins down there, uh, and then right behind him coming from the I guess one of the suits with Andy Briere, And I was just shocked by that because I'm usually not that close to the floor. 00:17:09 Speaker 7: So it's just an incredible. 00:17:10 Speaker 1: Well, I mean, that's what you were big time today. 00:17:13 Speaker 2: They had you seated with all the all the you know, leaders of the state. 00:17:18 Speaker 1: Well done. 00:17:20 Speaker 6: Yeah, man, I felt like asking if we can get some legislation to keep that rest from ever coming to the state again. 00:17:25 Speaker 1: Well you should try. 00:17:26 Speaker 2: I appreciate the call. So Texas leads A and M forty four thirty eight. So basically, if you would like to see us get a double by then it is probably good for Texas to win. But if if if A and M wins, then that will ensure we don't play on Wednesday. So would you rather have the chance, Billy for a double buy or get rid of the. 00:17:50 Speaker 1: Possibility of playing on Wednesday? 00:17:52 Speaker 3: Which one's more moore, get rid of the chance of playing. 00:17:54 Speaker 1: On Wednesday than you wont A and M to win? 00:17:57 Speaker 3: Okay, all right, laggys. Who's up there, Josh, Josh? 00:18:01 Speaker 1: Go ahead, Josh. 00:18:03 Speaker 10: Hey, a long time caller, like calling it from work? 00:18:06 Speaker 1: All right? Is this your first you a long time caller or a long time. 00:18:10 Speaker 2: Listener, long time listener, first time caller. 00:18:15 Speaker 10: I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna steal. I'm gonna sell the guys this AOC like if they mostly were playing out of their minds today, like they like, I'm actually and I'm so proud of this team the way they just keep fighting. Because I was at the Gonzagga game or the season and I just I felt like that was the lowest we could go and they just kept fighting at the whole And I want to get that double. 00:18:36 Speaker 11: Boss. 00:18:36 Speaker 10: It's very much possible even if A and M wins. It just needs things to fall our way. But I think this team like can make us. They play like they are doing today, they can make some big noise in March, and we should do a theme night for for Florida. I think I think, like we did, deny it no if. 00:18:53 Speaker 2: We win, yeah, I'm with you if we especially if we beat A and M. 00:18:56 Speaker 1: I appreciate the call. 00:18:57 Speaker 2: If we beat A and M, then you be playing in that Florida game where if you. 00:19:02 Speaker 1: Win, you definitely get a double buy. 00:19:04 Speaker 2: And I think Rupp, if we could win Tuesday, I think Rupp will. 00:19:08 Speaker 1: Be electric on Saturday electric. 00:19:12 Speaker 2: It would be that would be a special environment if you could get that win. If you could get that win Tuesday, I mean, it'll be a great environment anyway, but it'll be an especially great environment because again, you beat A and M. If you were to beat Florida, now all of a sudden, you're sitting there knocking Billy'll going why not a five seat. 00:19:34 Speaker 3: Yeah right, yeah, that would be big. Just end the season with that momentum too. 00:19:39 Speaker 2: Oh yeah, this was Listen, this was a massive win for Kentucky today. Even if they lose the last two, this was a massive win for them, and we'll see it when we're announcing these brackets here in a. 00:19:52 Speaker 1: Couple of weeks. Who's next? 00:19:53 Speaker 3: Json Jason, go ahead. 00:19:55 Speaker 1: Jason. 00:19:58 Speaker 12: Hey Man, has it going tonight? 00:20:00 Speaker 1: I'm doing wonderful. 00:20:03 Speaker 12: Well here, here's what I gotta say. I got to sit in the lower bowl tonight too, And I feel like we just need to change around the stigma of the whole people just that they don't want. 00:20:14 Speaker 13: To stand out. 00:20:15 Speaker 12: And it's like we could have We were up twenty at one point, right and if if the lower Bowl gets into it, we can extend to thirty. And I feel like a we could go undefeated at home. And as you see, if if just the the rich people just would stand up, cheer a little bit, you know, you can get behind the steam and just keep rolling. 00:20:36 Speaker 1: See you. So where where were you at the game? 00:20:40 Speaker 9: Yes, sir, I was in the lower bowl. 00:20:42 Speaker 1: So you were in the lower bowl? Did you stand up? And were you loud? 00:20:47 Speaker 14: Oh? 00:20:47 Speaker 12: I got told to sit down three, four or five times? 00:20:49 Speaker 1: Then would you do? 00:20:52 Speaker 9: Well? 00:20:52 Speaker 12: The first time I was like, well, I'm not going to sit down. Then the second time I'm like, well, times feel a little bad. Then the third time I'm like, why paid for my ticket? Buddy? I ain't hitting damn. 00:21:02 Speaker 1: Oh so that's interesting. 00:21:03 Speaker 2: You went from confident to peer pressure to back to confident again. 00:21:11 Speaker 12: Yeah. 00:21:12 Speaker 2: Interesting, Okay, there's probably some psychology to that. 00:21:15 Speaker 1: You know. I've said this for years. 00:21:17 Speaker 2: I think people should be not only allowed to stand, they should be encouraged. 00:21:21 Speaker 1: You Also, I don't think should be rude. So that's a balance. 00:21:24 Speaker 2: And I think usually where we sit too much at the games. And you know, today it felt like the arena was really electric early, but I couldn't tell if that was true after the first ten minutes. But I will say again, when you watch these games on ESPN, it's hard to tell what the crowd is anywhere, Whereas if you turn the games on CBS, you can tell when the crowd's into it when it's not. So I think it's just how they mix the sound, appreciate the call. It's really one of my kind of pet peeps, Like right now, let's see it's Texas. 00:22:01 Speaker 1: I don't know what games on CBS, but I was. 00:22:03 Speaker 2: Watching a game earlier today on the CBS Sports Network, And I'm telling you, watch a game on the CBS Sports Network. 00:22:10 Speaker 1: And just hear how loud you can hear the. 00:22:12 Speaker 2: Crowd, and it just it's just not the same on on ESPN, and especially when we're on the SEC network. 00:22:19 Speaker 1: I know today was on ESPN, Who's Next? 00:22:22 Speaker 3: DW? 00:22:23 Speaker 1: DW? What's up? 00:22:25 Speaker 15: Hey, guys. 00:22:26 Speaker 16: So I've been super critical of Pope here this past year because it's just been a weird year, you know, but it's still good wins like this going into March that make me think, you know, like if he can be the dude for this thing of ours, and then I wouldn't want anyone else. 00:22:42 Speaker 1: You know if Yeah. 00:22:44 Speaker 15: I know it's still a big if, but like, wins like this buy me into that next season because you kept saying, you know, next season, this season, you know, make or break, but we don't have any recruits. I'm sitting here looking around, like what do we have to even? Like, why even wait until next season if it's to suck? But wins like this keep me into it, you know. 00:23:04 Speaker 1: Well, I mean, listen, think about I understand what you mean. 00:23:08 Speaker 2: And we can point to bad losses because they certainly exist, but you also can point to I mean, these are some of the make They've got some great wins this year, right, I mean, they're gonna go into the tournament, having beaten Tennessee twice, having beaten Arkansas, having beaten Vanderbilt, having beaten Saint John's, and beaten Indiana. Those are good wins, all of them, every single one of them, and so you do have to, you know, you have to take the good with the bad. There are some terrible losses, but there's also some great wins. 00:23:41 Speaker 16: Yep, thank you. 00:23:42 Speaker 1: Appreciate the call. Uh. I don't know. 00:23:45 Speaker 2: Would you rather, Billy have a team that does what they're supposed to in every game or have a team that gets some great wins but then also take some really disappointing losses. 00:23:55 Speaker 3: Hmmm, Probably the one that's more consistent because I know what to expect, because there's been some really bad games in Nashville this year that we cannot forget. I can't forget. 00:24:10 Speaker 1: Well, but those were against good teams. 00:24:12 Speaker 2: Like it doesn't I mean, I don't want to lose by forty to gain Zaga, but like, what bothers me more is losing to george at home. 00:24:19 Speaker 3: Yeah, right, losing to Georgia. 00:24:21 Speaker 1: And Missouri at home is what bothers me more. 00:24:23 Speaker 2: I still, though, love that you when you go into these games against good teams. You really can't rule these Pope teams out because then you go to the tournament and we might be a you know, sixth seed, and we got a good chance against the three and maybe against the two in the next round. 00:24:39 Speaker 3: So he might have a tough time getting out of that first game. 00:24:41 Speaker 1: He might happen, you might lose to the eleven. 00:24:43 Speaker 2: You're exactly right, like that's that's just kind of how it's been so far with Mark. 00:24:49 Speaker 3: Who's next, Charlie, Charlie, go ahead, Charlie. 00:24:53 Speaker 2: Yes. 00:24:54 Speaker 9: First thing. 00:24:54 Speaker 11: First, I want to wish my brother Patrick Bruth a happy fortieth birthday. 00:24:59 Speaker 2: Oh, happy fortieth to Pat. This yeah, Billy's right. I'm in a good mood. I'm now saying happy fortieth birthday to Patrick booth. 00:25:06 Speaker 1: Kill love it. 00:25:07 Speaker 9: I love it, all the ability, all the look all. 00:25:10 Speaker 11: Man into the Cats. 00:25:13 Speaker 12: So frust might lose in the first round, or they just might go to the final four. 00:25:19 Speaker 2: Hallelujah, Hallo back, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallo back, and Louisville lost too. 00:25:26 Speaker 1: Billy, did you see that? Pat Kelsey is Now? What did I see? 00:25:31 Speaker 2: He is now one and thirteen against Quad one A teams which is basically a top thirty team. Uh, excuse me, top twenty team at home or top forty team on the road. 00:25:44 Speaker 1: I think he's he is uh, he's now one and thirteen. I think he's only one. 00:25:51 Speaker 3: Is us at the time. 00:25:54 Speaker 2: I think we were at the time, because I think I think they figure that stat out by. 00:25:58 Speaker 1: What you were at the time, and we were at the time. 00:26:00 Speaker 2: So that's his only that's his only victory against against the team that has been good. So would you rather be that? Because they don't beat it. They don't lose to anybody bad, but they don't beat anybody. 00:26:12 Speaker 3: Goody would you rather be No? I would not rather be that. So maybe there is some credence to what you're saying. 00:26:17 Speaker 1: That's right. 00:26:17 Speaker 2: Hey, five nine two eight oh twenty two eighty seven, We're gonna take a break. There's a guy screaming here for Billy at the bar. I'm not gonna say anything though, because we wont I'm gonna keep a very. 00:26:26 Speaker 3: Positive shout out that guy. 00:26:28 Speaker 2: Yeah, he's got he's talking to his buddy next to him and his buddies with him three feet because he's yelling, but not like angry. Just that's how he's talking is in that volume. Take a break, be right back, so Local Toyter Dealers KSR Post game. 00:26:40 Speaker 1: Show, worker back. 00:26:41 Speaker 2: It is Kentucky Sports Radio eight five nine two eight oh twenty two eighty seven. The text machine is seven seven two seven seven four five two five four What person rights to? My son is listening to the FC Cincinnati game. His name is Henry, and he asked if we could turn the radio to listen to mister Matt instead. Mister matt Billy, I should maybe you should start calling me that. 00:27:01 Speaker 1: What do you think? 00:27:02 Speaker 2: Uh? 00:27:02 Speaker 3: I called you Matthew for a while. You said I was the only person to do that. 00:27:06 Speaker 1: What my mom does? My mom o? My mom calls me Matthew. Yeah, you know. 00:27:09 Speaker 2: I mean, there's been a lot in recent it feels like it's happened a lot in the last few weeks. People come up to me and they're like twenty three, twenty four, twenty five something, and they'll they'll show me a picture, Billy, of when I took a picture with them when they were like nine or ten mm hm, and you want you want. There's very few things that will make you feel older than that. Then seeing a picture of you with like this six or four kid when they were nine years old, and in my mind, Billy, I look the same, but I know that I do not. 00:27:40 Speaker 3: Yeah, and they've completely transferred. 00:27:41 Speaker 2: They've completely transformed, and then you have to think, well, you probably have two Uh what person writes Matt. I'm with Billy. Uh excuse me, I'm I disagree with Billy. I want to have the double byes a possibility because it will keep Kentucky playing hard. 00:27:59 Speaker 1: I think they're play hard. I mean having these two good teams left. 00:28:03 Speaker 2: You know, I'd like to see them stay out of the eight or nine because I think Florida is so much better than the other teams. If you can get in the bottom half of that bracket, then Billy, I don't see why you couldn't make a run in the SEC tournament. 00:28:14 Speaker 3: You agree, I get that. I just want to make sure we have a show at ten roof in Nashville. I can. We cannot lose on Wednesday or the SEC Tournament. 00:28:22 Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not as worried about that. 00:28:24 Speaker 2: And like I said, depending on what happens in this A and M game, that might not be a possibility. 00:28:31 Speaker 1: Even today. If I'm nine two eight oh twenty two eighty seven. 00:28:33 Speaker 2: One person rights Matt shouting out politicians is embarrassing. Why do people bring that up? I mean, if you see the governor, Billy, that's cool. Like if if you ran into the governor, that's interesting. Isn't it same if you ran into the president, like you'd be like, hey, I ran into that person. 00:28:49 Speaker 1: Yeah. 00:28:49 Speaker 3: Imagine if you saw AOC today, Well I did? 00:28:53 Speaker 1: They scored? 00:28:53 Speaker 2: They combined, They combined for sixty one points team AOC three three headed goat. 00:29:01 Speaker 1: Who's up next? 00:29:02 Speaker 3: Dwayne? 00:29:03 Speaker 1: Dwayne? Go ahead, Dwayne. Hey, Matt, Hey, what's up? 00:29:09 Speaker 12: Oh? 00:29:11 Speaker 9: Not much? Just left your bar today, watched the game there, got up this morning, went to work at four am, found a couple of my friends. We went to Buffalo Trace and was like, where you want to go now? I was like, let's go to the bar and watch the basketball game. 00:29:30 Speaker 1: Let me let me let me hear your schedule for a second. You got it. You went to work? What time did you go to work? Four am? 00:29:38 Speaker 9: I started work at four. 00:29:39 Speaker 1: Am this morning? And then what time did you get off? 00:29:43 Speaker 9: Got off at ten thirty? 00:29:45 Speaker 1: Then straight to Buffalo Trace. 00:29:48 Speaker 9: Straight to Buffalo, went home, took a shower, straight to Buffalo Tray, then to k Bar, took a tour, got done there, come to kas Bar watch the game. Shout out to Mallory from Hoptown. She was our waitress. She was excellent and very high expectations for the game. But when we when it first started, Colin Chandler was playing like a dog and I'm like, this game is gonna I was like, I'm back on I'm back on track. 00:30:20 Speaker 2: That's a full day, by the way, I mean it is, just it is five six o'clock and that is a full day. If you go from work to Buffalo Trace, to ks Bar to the to the game, that is an absolute full day right there. 00:30:38 Speaker 9: Oh it's it's been a day. Yeah, And well now I'm headed home to kind of relax. 00:30:45 Speaker 7: For a little bit. 00:30:46 Speaker 1: Now I want, well go ahead. 00:30:50 Speaker 9: And just watching basketball for the evening. Whatever is on to Deny. 00:30:54 Speaker 1: All right, Well there's some good ones. I appreciate the call. 00:30:56 Speaker 2: You've got Alabama Tennessee at six thirty and then arcts off. 00:31:00 Speaker 1: Florida at eight thirty. 00:31:01 Speaker 2: What time, Billie is the women tomorrow they play South Carolina here in Lexington. That's a massive game. What time is that is that it two tomorrow. 00:31:10 Speaker 3: I know it's mid afternoon, it's two pm, two p Yere Carolina. 00:31:13 Speaker 1: So games sold out. It is best team. 00:31:17 Speaker 2: I don't know if South Carolin' is the best team in the country this year, but they are the best team. 00:31:20 Speaker 1: Number three. 00:31:21 Speaker 2: Coming into Rough on Senior Night, last game of the regular season, huge opportunity for Kenny Brooks and his team to get a big win. 00:31:30 Speaker 1: That should be memorial Cosseum should be crazy tomorrow. That should be a lot of fun. Who's next, Travis, Travis, go ahead, Travis, Hey, what's up? 00:31:39 Speaker 12: Matt hey? 00:31:40 Speaker 5: Man? 00:31:40 Speaker 11: What a great game today, Man, I missed a round of eighteen to day just to stay at home and watch the game with my old man bro. It was a great game. Shout out to Otega and Chandler. Man, they've hit my parlay and when we're hitting fifty from three, we're a tough team to beat. 00:31:57 Speaker 2: Man. 00:31:57 Speaker 1: Well, that's true. 00:31:58 Speaker 2: I mean you fifty three, there's gonna be very very very few people that are going to beat you. 00:32:07 Speaker 1: I agree. 00:32:07 Speaker 11: Just one more statement, man, you know, going down this stretch of march, Man, you know I need moreno, you know, like I've wanted all year man, I just need him to be more aggressive on offense because when he gets in that post man, I mean he's he's a tough guy to beat. 00:32:23 Speaker 1: Man like he was. 00:32:25 Speaker 11: I think he had a screen and attacking the rim. 00:32:28 Speaker 2: I think he had four different baskets where he got the ball on the block and made a move. A couple of times. It was just backing him down a couple of times. It was uh good footwork. But he scored eight points on post ups and I don't know that he's done that all year. 00:32:42 Speaker 1: So that was I thought that was great to see. 00:32:46 Speaker 11: I agree, man, I need more of that in the upcoming weeks. Man, and uh go katz baby, let's. 00:32:51 Speaker 2: Go appreciate the call. Tom Hart says he wants to come on, Billy. Will you call him? 00:32:56 Speaker 1: You have his number? 00:32:57 Speaker 3: I will call him. 00:32:58 Speaker 2: Okay, eight five two eight twenty two to eighty seven? One person rights, Matt. Do you think Arkansas can win at Florida tonight? No, but I think they'll cover it's ten and a half points. I would definitely take Arkansas to cover the ten and a half. I do not think they'll win, but you know I say this sometimes Cal Perry has these Cal Perry specials sometimes where like people, they come out of nowhere and win one of these and then they'll lose it home to somebody bad. I could see I could see cal getting this one, but I don't think they'll win. I think Florida win, but I do think Arkansas will cover. Who's next? 00:33:34 Speaker 3: Tom Hart? 00:33:35 Speaker 1: Tom Hart is on? Hello there, Tom Hart? How are you hi? 00:33:39 Speaker 7: Matt Jones, how are you? 00:33:41 Speaker 2: I'm doing great? So what what were your thoughts on the game today? Having called it there next to Dame Bradshaw. 00:33:49 Speaker 7: I thought the Colin Chandler coming out party was is. 00:33:52 Speaker 2: Huge for this team. 00:33:53 Speaker 7: It just takes a lot of pressure off of the other issues that this team has had when when they're not playing great. 00:34:03 Speaker 1: You know. 00:34:03 Speaker 7: I thought he's played with a ton of confidence. And Dane mentioned this and Cope had told us that one of his superpowers was he you. 00:34:11 Speaker 1: Know, he has no memory. 00:34:13 Speaker 2: You know, he doesn't get his. 00:34:15 Speaker 7: Confidence down because he he blew something or he failed to something else. I thought that was great. 00:34:20 Speaker 2: Do you you have called more Kentucky games? I think I saw what is this? 00:34:26 Speaker 1: Uh? 00:34:26 Speaker 2: Today was Dug Shalls today became the referee who's called the most Kentucky games in history. I gotta think for ESPN you're getting up there for having called the most games. 00:34:38 Speaker 1: Play by play. You but you were there earlier. 00:34:41 Speaker 2: In the year, and we obviously the team had some issues then, including maybe some chemistry issues. 00:34:48 Speaker 1: Have you seen a change since then? 00:34:53 Speaker 7: Well, just every time it looks like there's a change for the better, then there's you know, one step fur or two steps. 00:35:00 Speaker 2: But I mean more like off the court, like when you're around them in the pregame shoot around and all that stuff. 00:35:08 Speaker 7: No, because this is not a team, you know, like the coaching staff is still new to me as opposed to when cal was there, and and you know, I had really good relationships with a lot of the assistants and other people on staff. So I'm just not as familiar with the off the court stuffy these guys as I was with some a Calcium. So I can't say that I've seen that, you know, I think that I think that the injuries and taking some of these guys off the court has and there's a theory and maybe maybe you guys have talked about this, that that has improved some of the some of the team chemistry. Because if there's two guys that don't get along, and now one of them's injured and not playing. That would certainly help. And I think there's some type a's like, oh, take away is a type A, like he's got to be the dude. Yeah, somebody else is getting in the way. I think that that's where you get the friction. I can't really speak to that part of the film. 00:36:05 Speaker 2: I've seen a lot of teams all over the country going into the SEC Tournament and into the NCAA. 00:36:10 Speaker 1: Do you think Kentucky can can do something? 00:36:15 Speaker 15: Yeah? 00:36:15 Speaker 7: I mean I think the way they played today, and Vanderbilt is a really good team. I think they went the way they played today, that's an Elite eight team, you know, because they play with a ton of confidence. They can play with different styles moreno seems to get better like every game. 00:36:32 Speaker 1: Yeah. 00:36:33 Speaker 7: But the biggest thing is great teams have multiple options, not just one guy. And as bad as always played against South Carolina, like hold up, you got multiple scores and multiple guys can get things done. And I think that's huge. And I think fiabate rightfully so he's fasting. It's Ramadan like he was generally a non factor today, even though he got to the pre throw line. He's played better than that, and he has been in a very efficient part of good lineup. 00:37:05 Speaker 17: Hey, before I go yeah, I want to give them. 00:37:07 Speaker 7: Can I get a shout out? 00:37:08 Speaker 1: Of course you can't. 00:37:10 Speaker 7: I got a really nice note from a gentleman who wanted me to give a shout out to his grandpa during the game, and I just I couldn't make it work. So Gary Ross played high school basketball for Oddville in Harrison County, and he's a huge Kentucky fan. 00:37:29 Speaker 1: So ant, there's a town. 00:37:31 Speaker 2: There's a town called Oddville in Harrison County. 00:37:35 Speaker 7: The way I understand is it used to be Oddville High School and that maybe it merged with another school back, you know, seventy years ago. 00:37:46 Speaker 2: Oddville, Kentucky. Oddville, Kentucky. Is you're right, an unincorporated community in Harrison County, five miles northeast of Cynthiana. So so when I was a kid, tom very very young, like three yearyears old, I lived in Cynthiana. So I did not realize that five miles from where I lived when I was a little child was Oddville. 00:38:09 Speaker 7: I'm not going to make a joke about how fitting it would be for you to be from odd Vil, because I don't think you're odd. 00:38:16 Speaker 1: I'm a little bit odd. Yeah, that's okay. 00:38:20 Speaker 7: So shout out Harrison County and Gary Rods. 00:38:23 Speaker 17: And I regret that I couldn't get it into the broadcast today because I got a very nice note from his grandson, and I hope he I hope somebody sends him this and they can bring their family some joy. 00:38:36 Speaker 2: That's awesome, all right, right if I'm nine to eight oh twenty two eighty seven, Tom, thank you very much. 00:38:41 Speaker 1: And are you flying home today? 00:38:46 Speaker 7: I'm actually driving down seventy five right now. 00:38:49 Speaker 1: So all right, well, well we will see you. We will see you in Nashville, all right. 00:38:56 Speaker 7: Uh yeah, and I'm I'm on the A and M game tuesday night. 00:39:00 Speaker 1: Oh okay, all right. 00:39:01 Speaker 2: Well, by the way, I did hear you throw a couple of our drops in we we they were you did? 00:39:07 Speaker 1: Uh? 00:39:08 Speaker 2: You mentioned something about vocal cords, So that was for us trying to think what the other ones you you had, like two or three? 00:39:14 Speaker 1: What were the other ones? 00:39:16 Speaker 13: Uh? 00:39:16 Speaker 7: We had shot with the Bath County with the meeting. 00:39:20 Speaker 1: Yes, I missed that one, but I heard you did that one. 00:39:23 Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, well I got a John Short shout out when Kentucky was up twenty something. 00:39:30 Speaker 9: Biggins. 00:39:31 Speaker 1: Yeah, well those are good. There was one more I. 00:39:34 Speaker 2: Can't remember there, but yeah, I can't remember what it was. Well, anyway, thank you very much. 00:39:39 Speaker 1: Tom. We will see you. Uh, we'll hear you tuesday night. 00:39:42 Speaker 7: All right, all right, sounds good. 00:39:46 Speaker 2: God appreciate it. A five twenty two eighty seven. Who's next, Billy. 00:39:51 Speaker 3: Let's go to Kevin. 00:39:53 Speaker 1: Kevin, go ahead, Kevin, Hey, Billy, what's going on? 00:40:00 Speaker 4: Hey, we're in West Virginia. 00:40:02 Speaker 1: Yes, this game. 00:40:05 Speaker 5: My wife wants to give you a big c afka. 00:40:14 Speaker 1: All right, there you go, Well, tell your wife thank you. 00:40:18 Speaker 5: And we I'm from fantic ground and I heard the big Bath County meatcheller shot out, and we're going to have a West Virginia meat chiller here and a bit. 00:40:31 Speaker 2: I appreciate the call. I don't think I want to know what that is. By the way, they recreated that this afternoon, Billy. Have we seen any pictures or videos from that? They were created the Bath County meat shower. Apparently they were going to have drop beef jerky from the sky. 00:40:46 Speaker 3: That's what That's how they recreated that's what I. 00:40:49 Speaker 1: Heard, although I don't know, I haven't heard. 00:40:51 Speaker 2: I feel like that could still go wrong if you get depend on how high you drop it from. But but that was apparently going on today. 00:40:59 Speaker 3: I was highly anticipating it after you mentioned it, so I can't wait to find out. 00:41:03 Speaker 1: Maybe somebody there will have gotten to go. Who's up next. 00:41:06 Speaker 3: Let's give our Johnny Rocker personal injury attorney, moneymaker of the game next. Matt injured gets small town compassion with big city results when you call the Rocker at two seven zero three two one four four two nine. Let's give it to the flamethrower. Colin Chandler twenty three points, seven of ten from the field. It's a career high in points. He also was six of eight from three. He was diving on the floor at one point making plays happen. He is such an important piece on this team. He is our moneymaker of the game. 00:41:33 Speaker 1: That's exactly right. 00:41:34 Speaker 2: Yeah, he was great tonight, and he was really he's really what gave him the gap in the first half because we're those threes and his opening up the floor and then oh wait, kind of took it home in the second half. 00:41:44 Speaker 1: Who's next? 00:41:45 Speaker 3: Dave, Dave, go ahead, Dave, how. 00:41:48 Speaker 14: Are you doing? 00:41:48 Speaker 13: Man? 00:41:49 Speaker 1: Doing good? 00:41:51 Speaker 14: Good good. I was gonna tell you, you know, today's team, maybe you feel really good about our chances. I mean, maybe we may not at all, but I'll tell you what. This team really slammed it up and that's a good thing. 00:42:05 Speaker 1: So well, I agree. 00:42:07 Speaker 2: I think you can go into these March games, and I appreciate the call. Outside of maybe five teams, I don't really feel good about our chances against Duke Michigan, Arizona, Yukon in Florida. But outside of those five teams, I think in a given scenario, they could beat anybody. 00:42:31 Speaker 1: But they also, as Billy said, could lose. 00:42:33 Speaker 2: To anybody, which is gonna mean every game is kind of gonna be You're gonna be on the edge of your seats. All right, We'll take a break come back for our final segment. Arizona is blowing Kansas off the floor. Texas leads Texas A and M sixty three fifty six. If you want to double by in the SEC tournament, this is a good result for you, although it also if Texas wins, leaves open the possibility we could still play on Wednesday. But it definitely opens up the possibility of a double buy. If Texas wins, I can break and be right back. This is the Local Toy Dealers KSR Postcaps Welcome back. It is the Local Toy Dealers KSR Postcape Show. One Person Rights, Matt. I'm with a car full of bowling green folks driving back from. 00:43:13 Speaker 1: Girl Gulf Shores. 00:43:14 Speaker 2: We're listening to the show on I sixty five. Shout out to Tony See. I'm in a good mood. I'm reading these you know wouldn't always happen, but we are. One Person Rights, Matt. I don't like the Billy sometimes as a bummer when we have these good games. That's why I call him billy bummer. Tell him to be happy. This was a big win for us. 00:43:34 Speaker 3: I'm in a good mood. Don't get it twisted. This was a great win for the Cats. We all picked Kentucky to win too, which was not a good omen at first, but. 00:43:43 Speaker 2: One Person Rights. My sister is a hostess at Carson's Downtown. She saw otega Oway after the game, helped him to place it to go order, and he said he's very sad he only has two games left with Kentucky this year. It's nice Carson's to go for the team, I can understan. 00:44:00 Speaker 3: Then oh that sounds good. 00:44:02 Speaker 1: Yeah, it is good. 00:44:03 Speaker 2: Uh and then one person rights Matt Oddville used to be known as a speed trap and it had one store. 00:44:10 Speaker 1: Now you wouldn't even know it's there. Well I do now. 00:44:14 Speaker 2: I did not know it was there, and I grew up up well, spent a couple of years five minutes from it. 00:44:18 Speaker 1: Who's next? We'll do six more and then call it a night. 00:44:22 Speaker 3: Let's go to Josh. 00:44:23 Speaker 1: Josh, go ahead, Josh. 00:44:26 Speaker 4: Hey, guys, so I do not believe that Colin Chandler has gotten his roses tonight, like you guys have. 00:44:35 Speaker 1: I led with him. 00:44:35 Speaker 2: I led with him, and he started he was the money maker player. Okay, pause, just a second, take a breath. He was the Johnny Rocker moneymaker player of the game. I led with him as the most important player of the game. And the show began with saying that Colin Chandler made six threes? 00:44:59 Speaker 1: What else would you? 00:45:00 Speaker 4: Okay, I was trying to call in the whole first part of the show, and I couldn't hear it. 00:45:07 Speaker 7: So well, there you go. 00:45:09 Speaker 4: But Bill, Bill we're not talking about even though, like Colin Taylor has been the X factor for our team this entire season, we would not win these games if it wasn't for Colin Chandler. There's a small handful of games where we would not have won if it were not for Colin Chandler. 00:45:32 Speaker 1: I mean, that's true. That's true. 00:45:33 Speaker 2: It's also true if otag Away ended Zoe Aberdeen. That's why. 00:45:37 Speaker 1: Yeah, that's why I. 00:45:38 Speaker 2: Like the AOC and three headed Goat because I do think those three guys have basically been the been been what's made it happen? 00:45:48 Speaker 4: Yes, And I just feel like everybody talks about oh wait, everybody talks about Aberdeen, but Chandler just does not get his roses, you know, and I. 00:45:59 Speaker 1: Mean a lot of roses. I think he I think he's I think he's. 00:46:02 Speaker 2: Probably the most popular player on the team. I mean I would say there's a very good chance that, Yeah, I can tell. 00:46:10 Speaker 1: Well. I I appreciate the call. I think Colin Chandler. 00:46:13 Speaker 2: Is Do you think he's the most Who do you think is the most popular player on the team. I mean, I guess it could be could be Chandler, could be Oway. 00:46:22 Speaker 3: Chan Facebook you're right about that. 00:46:24 Speaker 1: Maybe he could be Moreno. 00:46:26 Speaker 3: I'm gonna say because he's the best player and he came back from last year. 00:46:30 Speaker 2: I think it's probably Oway and Chandler. Yeah, Chandler is certainly the leader in the clubhouse for most fake Facebook story. Oh my goodness. Oh way his Chandler has donated his entire innile two and then just fill in turning point us a homeless shelters tornado relief. 00:46:51 Speaker 3: He very nice of him. 00:46:52 Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean literally, he would be like the most charitable person in the world if everything on Facebook was was true. 00:46:58 Speaker 3: Who's next, James James? 00:47:00 Speaker 1: Go ahead, James five more. 00:47:04 Speaker 4: Hi. 00:47:04 Speaker 18: I'm like, I'm twelve years old and I was calling you guys because like me and my grandpa were just listening to the radio and we just found you guys, and we went to the game and we had so much fun. It was my first basketball game. I got a question for. 00:47:21 Speaker 4: You, Okay, who do you think is. 00:47:25 Speaker 18: The most valuable player on the team? 00:47:27 Speaker 2: All right, I'll answer that in a second. But where are you what's your name again, James James? And where are you from? 00:47:35 Speaker 18: Kentucky? 00:47:36 Speaker 2: I know, but like, where in Kentucky do you live Oldham County. 00:47:40 Speaker 1: Oldham County. All right, so let me tell you something. James. You're with your grandfather and you went, you went to the game. 00:47:45 Speaker 2: So I when I was twelve years old, I went to UK games and was a UK fan with my grandfather. And I just want to tell you that's very cool, and I hope you enjoy every minute of that, okay, because I look back at that as some of my most fond memories are going to games with my grandfather. So, James, you, I was you thirty years ago with my grandfather, and I hope you enjoy it. Okay, Okay, And now to answer your question, who do I think is the MVP? 00:48:16 Speaker 1: Oway? 00:48:17 Speaker 2: Oway is the MVP? Oways the best player on the team. Oway is uh is my MVP. But I'm meaning MVP is the best player. But on any given game, it can be him, it can be Chandler. And then I agree with what Dame Bradshaw said. We win when Denzel Aberdeen plays well, and I think that's been the consistent thing most of the year. 00:48:43 Speaker 1: Appreciate it. 00:48:44 Speaker 18: That is true. I think Oway is the most valuable player too. 00:48:48 Speaker 2: Yeah, I appreciate the call, James, And Uh that's very cool that you that you called and went with your grandfather. I do think if you're looking for correlation between when Kentucky wins the most and they don't, I think Aberdeen is the consistent theme. And then Chandler hitting threes the staff that if we can limit turnovers and when Chandler gets hot from three, we can beat most most anybody? 00:49:14 Speaker 9: Four more? 00:49:14 Speaker 2: Who's next, Jennifer, Jennifer, Go ahead, Jennifer, why that Jones? 00:49:20 Speaker 19: You have made my day.
