This is Bigfoot Crossroads. My name's Matt, and this is the one hundredth
episode applause. Here joining me are my two very good friends, the masterminds
behind Bigfoot Club, Robert and Steven Dominguez. How you doing, fellas,
Matt? What's going on? I'm surprising in introduced us as the minus minus
that would never go away? Now ever, Nope, Robert and Stephen miss
so, so what's up, guys? How's uh, how's Bigfoot Club going?
How's things at the clubhouse? It's great. Yeah, we just we
just moved. Uh you know, do you haven't listened to our first episode.
We just moved. We got a room that has our it's our own
podcast room, and so we're pretty excited about that. We just launched a
season six, episode one. Yeah, so we're really excited about it.
Have you got some guests lined up or anything? Yeah, I gotta.
I have a couple. I would just say they're from a Discovery Channel and
I haven't confirmed it yet, but he was interested in doing our show.
So we haven't set a date yet on this person. I'll just say that,
oh, intriguing people show. It's it's it's quite the challenge it's all.
It's all like, yeah, it's always I'm pretty sure you and you
go through it like it's all the timing, who's free, what time?
You know? Yeah, people got lives, you know. Yeah, It's
just one of those things that because like Bigfoot Club, we try to get
a little bit of both of Bigfoot and the paranormal, and then we try
to get people that normally don't do podcasts. So I mean, I don't
know if that makes any sense, but we try to get people that normally
don't and try to bring them into the light. So that's you know,
that's usually our gimmick or stick stick. Yes, well, I thought a
fun thing for the one hundredth episode would to be a have you fellas on?
Of course, and to go over a couple of recent bigfoot reports that
I pulled off the BFRO website that actually took place in the past couple months.
And then I also had listeners submit questions or topics that they would like
to hear us talk about, and I thought we could do those. I
am down and we did not discuss this beforehand, right, not at all.
So this is a surprise to mester. Yeah, we're we're in the
dark on this zone. Just like I like going into my interviews pretty blind,
you know, with the stories from the witnesses, I wanted to do
the same with you guys and just you know, let you guys wing it
off the cuff. Awesome. I like it. This first report comes from
Maine and reads as follows. A big storm blew in around seven am and
didn't move off until about twelve thirty am. It knocked out power to our
home sometime around seven pm. We have a chicken coop about forty feet from
our house. It is two feet off the ground and it is twelve foot
by twenty foot with an entrance door that you use to be the front door
to our home. It was about eight thirty PM. A sunset is around
three point thirty this time of year. This took place in December. By
the way, just this past December, I was shining my flashlight out an
upstairs window when I saw a dark silhouette standing in front of my coop.
The top of its head was in line with the top of the coop door.
It was very muscular, broad shoulders, long upper legs, with proportionally
shorter lower legs. It was too narrow at the hips to be a bear.
We had a black bear in her cubs den near our house a few
years ago. This was nothing like her shape. I moved the flashlight to
try to get a better look, and it disappeared from view. The chicken
coop is covered in white siding. There's no mistake that this was bipedal.
It was facing me when I first shined the light on it. It turned
to run off just before I moved the flashlight. Given that an average door
is about seven feet high and the coop is two feet off the ground,
that would put it around nine feet tall. What had me looking outside was
a sound that I heard on the wind that alarmed me to my core.
I had spent the day listening to the wind howl and moan, but this
was different. It was guttural and within the sounds of the wind, but
not in sync. It caused a physical reaction. My heart started racing and
my stomach went into knots. I was tending to two of my grandkids that
were playing with flashlights, mostly shadow puppets. I jumped to my feet and
told them to hamm me a flashlight and turned the other one off to shine
the flashlight outside through the window. I must put it against the window or
it just reflects back. To see out the window, all other lights must
be turned off. One of our dogs was also barking furiously. Before I
could tell my daughters what I saw, they tell me what they were experiencing
downstairs with the two younger children and the dogs. Because the power was out.
My youngest daughter was charging her phone in her car. She said she
went out to get her phone off the charger and felt that somebody was watching
her. The filling was so intense that she stayed in her car for a
few minutes to look around and see if she could see anyone. When she
got out to head back into the house, she only got a few steps
away from her car when she heard the same sound I had heard. She
said. She was instantly terrified and ran into the house. The dog was
in the window barking as she was coming through the door. My oldest daughter
said that when she heard the house, she saw her dog lift her head
and look out the window, then stood up and started barking frantically. The
dog was looking in the opposite direction that my youngest daughter, who had just
started to run to the front door. Nobody wanted to charge their phones in
the vehicles after that, this was not mistaken identity about the sounds. We
were in thirty mile per hour winds with fifty five mile per hour gusts and
downpour of rain in December. I don't know of any animal, domestic or
wild that would be out there in that weather. In the morning, after
sunrise, my oldest daughter went out to the trash bin that is next to
the chicken coop. She found the heavy lid was lifted off the bin and
set on the back of the bin opposite in the direction of the wind had
been blowing. Two large bags of trash were missing, and there was a
trail of trash into the woods. The critters tear up the trash in the
bin and pick out what they want. They do not carry fifty five gallon
trash bags home with them. So what do you guys think? Man,
there is a lot of details in this. Yeah, whoever this is is
really good on it. The first thing that kind of that kind of hit
me was is that her emotional and how she was, you know, terrified,
and her daughter, the kids, the dog, the dog's reaction.
As soon as you were reading it, I was thinking infra sound ems so
Steven, what do you think? Yeah, no, I caught that because
she didn't see anything, right, that's the thing. She didn't see any
She saw a silhouette. No, no, no, when she was going
to the car. Yeah, the daughter didn't see anything, but she felt
instantly felt like she was being watched. Was is it's a terrible that's a
terrible feeling and all and now like it's no and yeah no, so I'm
a yeah, that's in for some all the way. Now is it because
it was hungry because it was going to the chicken coob? Right? Or
was it just I guess it was just curious? Right? It didn't sound
didn't sound could be uh, could be it could be alphabet just looking for
you know, food for it's it's group and one of the showcases dominance and
the power outage. I don't know that's you know, because I know a
lot of times I know whenever I've done Bigfoot research, Matt, like in
time when we would do it in the field and it was raining and you
coundnot you cannot hear nothing coming walking up like right next to you at all.
Whenever it's like storming, it's windy, you can't hear nothing. So
I know it's always been my theory that bigfoots tend to move actively during storm.
Yeah, I mean I can't. I can't prove it. It's just
conjecture. But it's just like it seems like whenever I was in the field,
I couldn't hear nothing. A person standing next to me, you can't
hear them walking up to you. Now here's the thing, though, this
bigfoot did it? Did it? Have they always known or did it click
whenever the he you know, approached the property? You know it's the power
went out? Is that curious? That's that's a good. That's a good.
Things like wait, where's it? What is the power out? Like
I always see lights I see and now it's off? Yeah, is it
off? Like it? Maybe he's probably curious too, like he's going she's
going to her car to charge something or just going to her car. What
I'm really curious about this is it how far is it from electrical ride away?
M you know, it doesn't it doesn't say it, and we look
it up on the map. I bet we can find an electrical right I
bet there's an electrical right away not too far from this house. And if
the power goes off, you know how our theory is that bigfoots are attracted
to electrical ride away when it's off, they're like, hey, what's up,
what's going on? Yeah, let me explore, let me look over
here, and then the hey, you know, there's chicken, there's there's
popeyes and ca Sorry sorry man. So yeah, no, it makes me
wonder like, was there like a sudden realization like hey, what the powers
or that they don't even know what they call it power or they think power,
but they know light, it's out? Why is it out? And
they probably feel that that they're drawn to it, and then they don't feel
it any more, like what the heck, what's going on? Yeah,
she said, she put her flashlight on the window and announced back. That
tells me that she's got double pane windows. Probably m hm. And so
it's probably they're probably used to like storms in that area. So and then,
like I was telling you before, the animals and the daughter, you
know, going downstairs. They're probably not in sync, you know, with
the mom and a daughter, but they were almost feeling the same kind of
thing at the same time. So that's kind of it's interesting. That is
interesting. It was interesting that everybody had their own different perspective of the experience,
yep, experiencing different things, but all kind of corroborating with one another.
A few things that came to mind for me. The power being out.
I would assume that a bigfoot might associate lights being off with people being
asleep or not at home and it being safer to come up around the house.
The trash cans were by the chicken coop, and there was trash missing
the next day, which I also found kind of interesting. There was this
guy that I used to know that told me a story about whenever him and
his little brother were younger. Their family had a cabin at the lake,
and his brother I don't remember how much younger he was, but you know,
I want to say he was around six or seven. He was like
a little kid. And this guy that I knew, I think was early
teens, and there was a real bad storm and the power was out,
you know, and it's just storming like crazy, and his little brother woke
up because of the thunder and was scared. So he was kind of like
sitting up with him in the living room, and he said that there was
a big picture window and that they could see what he described as a bigfoot
digging in the trash cans of the cabin directly across from theirs. So is
it possible that bigfoot would use bad weather, inclement weather storms, win things
like that to come up closer and dig through trash cans to kind of mask
them being there and the noise and everything that they're causing. And then maybe
the daughter that was out in the car charging her phone might have caught it
off guard and that's why it led out the vocalization to let the others know,
like, hey, they're here, it's not safe, and just kind
of grabbed the bags and ran. It's all conjecture, but that's all we
can really go with. You know, they have heidened sense right, like
they can hear pretty well, see pretty well. Does the weather put them
at risk? Like they can't hear us or sense us? Is it is
it? Are they going off a risk too? Because if it's super windy
and it's raining or retailing or whatever the situation is, and it's bad weather,
they're trying to mass to get food or mass I'm supposed to get go
out and get food, But like does that put them at risks? Like
I can't hear, Like, I don't know what what is what everything is
making noise? Is it humans or is it the wind or what I mean?
I still I still think they're they have that upper hand. That's just
my opinion. So this next one comes from Jasper County, Texas. You
guys know where that is, Jasper. They think that's I want to say,
East East Texas, East Texas. Yeah, this one happened right before
Thanksgiving this past year. Nice, my son and I were hunting the Tuesday
before Thanksgiving, right before dark. We heard a pig being killed. There
was a lot of squealing. We have hunted our entire lives and are familiar
with the noises pigs make. There were about forty five seconds of it screaming
insanely before the noise just stopped. The woods went dead silent. It was
probably about one hundred and thirty yards from where we were sitting. We thought
a cougar got the pig, because there is one in the area. A
few minutes later, a dough and two yearlings came running out of the woods.
The dough is blowing and stomping. She runs toward the woodline, then
back towards the field. Again. She then moves along the woodline toward the
west about one hundred yards and does the same thing. Run towards the woods,
then away from the woods frantically. The yearlings were on her tail the
whole time. Then she walks over to the normal game trail into the woods
that the deer used near the field. The deer go into the woods and
out of view. They were acting very erratic hunted this property. Since I
was eight years old, this was not normal behavior. After the deer entered
the woods, a span of maybe seven minutes from where we heard the pig
squilling, we hear what sounded like wood on wood knocks. It knocked four
or five times. My son, who is thirteen, looked at me like,
what was that. I said, I don't know. Before I can
finish saying that we heard a response of four or five wood knocks off to
our northwest. The original sounds came from the northeast. They were in the
same tone, but a little further away. My son looks at me and
says, Mom, it's time to get out of here. I said,
no, be quiet and listen. Before I could finish telling them that we
hear four or five more knocks. They came more from the north of us.
At this point, it's getting to where it's too dark to shoot,
but we're still listening. My son is trembling in fear. His teeth are
chattering. I bow hunt and have lived in these woods since I was a
child. It's family land. It butts up near a deer lease. There
is a slew that runs in the back of the property. We killed six
bores the week prior, and I dragged them out of the woods northwest of
where we were hunting, at about three twenty yards from our stand sets.
A lot of those pigs were gone. There was no evidence that they had
been eaten by normal predators in that area. Three of them were picked up
and gone, no trace of them. They were smaller bares. The larger
bores were still there. They are decaying. Some coyote and vultures and stuff
like that have been eating on the carcasses. We are sitting there in the
deer stand listening. I don't even know how to describe what we heard.
It wasn't whoops or howls. It was more like something kind of talking,
but not English and not human sounding. It was a deep warbling, growling
voice. It was very peculiar. Scared us both so bad that we jumped
out of the deer stand and took off. We had a situation a few
years back. My dad raises cattle. We pulled a dead calf. We
had the ropes on the calf's legs from where we pulled it out of its
mother. It was on a slip knot on each hind leg. We had
drug this calf carcass out in the woods in the same air that I had
just put those boers. We went back a few days later to retrieve the
ropes. The calf is gone, no trace of it. The only thing
that was there were the two ropes laid out side by side in straight lines.
My dad could not give the explanation as to what could lay those ropes
outside by side perfectly in line and unnodded. I was a loan officer at
the Credit Union. A few years back. I was discussing with a friend
some strange instances I had in this particular hunting club. He laughed at me,
told me I was crazy, but then called me three days ago telling
me that he didn't think I was crazy. Him and his friends were hunting
in the same area that my stand was in the dear lease. They found
a footprint. It was about the size of a men's eleven shoe, but
only had four toes. He said they had all heard strange noises, including
tree breaks, and some noises that he said didn't belong. He asked me
to send him a screenshot of where my stand was in the dear least.
So I did, and upon that picture we realized that we were both hunting
in the same area. My sister twenty three years ago saw something on the
side of the road late in the evening in between the deer leaves and where
the footprints were found and where we live and hunt currently. Maybe that is
what she had seen. She was coming home late one night and went over
a colvert in a hollow. Going over that colvert, she said that there
was a grizzly bear on the side of the road. She was livid that
we had not told her that we had bears in the area. We do
have a small bear, but it's not much bigger than a hog. She
claimed this to be as broad as my dad's beef Master bull. It had
long, red, shaggy hair and stood up as she drove past it.
That report was actually investigated by Matt Moneymaker, obviously not in person, but
it captured his interest before I say what I think? What do you guys
think? That was interesting about the first story that she was saying about the
erratic dough and then the squealing, because like, pigs are known to eat
its own right, its own carcasses and stuff, right anything, So the
you know, the pig parts that are there that might have attracted another pig,
and you know, the sasquatch or the bigfoot probably took advantage of that
and killed it. That's just you know, do you think it used it
as bait? Possibly they killed another pig recently and they put the carcass there.
I don't know if it was on purpose, but you know, we
don't we don't know that, but you know, he might have just showed
up. Then there's another pig and probably got it. And then the doe
seeing this freaked out and it's like because normally you don't see stuff like that.
You know, it's being lost, like it's trying to get out of
the area and goes back in the woods. And but this was like pretty
pretty detailed as well, and like the grizzly bear, Yeah, so I'm
assuming that it was on Bigfoot, just squatting like squatting down. Yeah,
monal fours man, the four toes really the foretoes bothering me, the fore
toes, the knocks, the continuous knocks, the guttural mumbling, the talking
and stuff, the talking and stuff, Matt, what do you think?
Um, well, I'm gonna I'm gonna have to take it the opposite route.
I don't think they experienced Bigfoot, really, I mean to me,
there wasn't anything that says Bigfoot in that report, which is why I found
it interesting that Matt Moneymaker investigated it. I mean a lot of it's just
going to be opinion, But hearing the hog being killed and there being a
known cougar in the area, yep, I mean that that definitely could be
the culprit. Uh. The pig getting killed, especially by a predator in
the area, would sceer the mother doe and the year lanes for her to
take off like that, trying to figure out which direction to go to get
away from the predator. The other pigs disappearing, They said that the three
smaller ones were missing and the three larger ones were not, but the larger
ones had been eaten on by coyotes and vultures and other scavengers in the area.
It is my belief from personal experiences that I've had that if there's any
signs of bigfoot messing with an animal carcass, that other animals do not touch
it at all, No scavengers, nothing, So I find that kind of
interesting that if a bigfoot came, it wouldn't take the larger ones. It
took the smaller ones. If it messed with the larger ones, the scavenger
still ate on them. I don't know. I think there's still a chance
that scavengers like coyotes drug the smaller ones off because they were smaller and they
could manage to drag them off, but couldn't drag off the bigger ones,
so they them where they were at. How about the non English garble that
she was hearing, so I left a little bit out. The part that
I left out was that this person, this woman was a fan of finding
bigfoot and was already a big foot before any of this was submitted. Rejection
got it? Now, does that mean that they didn't experience a bigfoot,
or didn't hear a bigfoot, or that there's not bigfoot in the air.
The four toad track is still interesting, you know, assuming that they're telling
the truth. But the four toad track also came from somebody else, It
didn't come from them. The four toad track was also she said, size
eleven men shoe. So I mean, a track is just what the impression
that gets left in the ground. That doesn't necessarily mean it only had four
toes. Maybe the pinky toe didn't register, or some other toe. Maybe
it wasn't the big toe. Who knows that. This guy told her that
she was crazy at first and then came back and said, no, I
don't think you're crazy. And here's this photo. Was he just messing with
her, did he? You know, just entertainment? Or maybe she's using
it to reconfirm her story. Yeah, yep, another thing too. Yeah,
but I did want to say, jasper is it's right. It's south
of the Angelina National Force, the Sabine National Force, and it is it
is east of east northeast of the Big Thicket National Preserve. And it's right
on the border which is Monster Central. And not too many people say Monster
centroenty war do they met? No, they don't. I thank you.
I think you'd have to find some old timers most central. So it's right,
and it's right smack in the middle of bigfoot stuff. Not to say
that there's not bigfoot stuff there, but maybe this story like you were saying,
Well, that's the thing whenever you're researching the subject and trying to actually
investigate sidings, which I don't think many people do anymore, But that's kind
of how you have to approach it. You have to look at everything from
both angles. You can't just go in saying yes, this was a bigfoot
or no it wasn't. You have to put all the cards on the table
and then follow the evidence and see or to lead you. I mean,
I haven't had an opportunity to sit down and talk to this lady, you
know, an interviewer firsthand or anything. This is just what I pulled off
the BFRO site. You know what they allowed to be published. It was
investigated by Matt Moneymaker. I didn't read any of his notes. I just
wanted to take the report, you know, and take it at face value.
All right, So let's get to those questions first. I want to
say thank you to all the listeners and people that support the show. Anybody
who's bought merchandise or shared an episode, which is absolutely free to do and
much appreciated. Thank you guys, sincerely, Thank you everyone that submitted questions.
I really do appreciate it. It means the world to me and just
blows my mind that people actually take the time to listen to me talk about
pigfoot with other people. I want to say hello to Evan Scully of Melbourne,
Australia. Mate. That was a horrible accent. I apologize for that.
I apologize to the entire continent of Australia. But it's cool that I
have a listener in Australia. So I wanted to say, what's up to
Evan. First question, I'm reading this question from Chelsea, good friend of
mine has helped out with artwork and the show, and she submitted a question.
Of course I knew she would. Do you think certain groups of bigfoot,
like the ones that live in Alaska slash Canada have an undercoat of an
insulating hair and if so, do they shed their summer winter coat? Wow?
That is a good question. Yeah. Now, I was just gonna
say I haven't heard any stories of people walking in the woods where seeing like
big mounds of hair our coats just shedded anywhere. That would be an interesting
find though, it would be I mean, I know Chelsea is a dog
expert. She owns a German shepherd, and I'm sure that she finds hair
all over the place whenever animals shed. Just you know our dog Daisy,
We find her black hair all over this house constantly on a daily basis.
You can brush her, you can sweep it all up, there'll still be
piles of it next day. So I would imagine that a sasquatch, if
it shedded hair, it would be ridiculous. It would be all over the
place, and this mystery would probably be solved. Yeah, would just be
my guess. I don't think they need an undercoat because one, they definitely
just have hair. It's not fur of any kind. I think their their
skin and just their physiology itself has adapted them to survive in those type climates
without having to have an undercoat. But who knows. We would have to
study one up close to find out. She also wanted to ask about Bigfoot
speaking repeating words like calling out dog's names, et cetera. Have you guys
heard of that before? Yeah? I would, I would say there is
when I was in Lamar County and I know this firsthand. I mean,
I don't, I can't. I don't have any of those tapes anymore.
But we used to record stuff and we used to shout to each other,
and there was a there was a gentleman that used to research with us,
and I'm not gonna say his name, but we used to shout each other
like we used to. You know, let's just call him Harry. We
would call hey, Harry, you know, we would you know, yeah,
where are you? And we would go back and listen to these tapes
that we would like put into the woods, and we would sometimes hear like
a guttural Harry, like in like the audio. And this guy got really
really creeped out and he decided to retire. He didn't want to do it
anymore. So he got all his equipment and just left. And you know,
we were going over these tapes over and over just to hear what we
could hear or see what we could see on these videotapes. And uh,
yeah, we had audio of someone repeating Harry's name and it was kind of
scary a little bit, but uh but I I know, yeah, it
was no, it was. It was kind of distant, but you could
hear it. You'd still hear it because it was these were on like olde
like these camcorder recordings that we would put out. But yeah, Cursday.
Yeah, so I'll just say that. Could you of how it sounded?
It was like it was like we like that. It was drag it all.
Nope, as an instant, I'm retired done. Yeah, this this
gentleman was like he was very religious and he equated it to you know,
you know, most religious. You know, I'm not knocking any religious person
by saying this, but you know, he was very religious. It was
either black or white, it was either evil or good, and he equated
it to evil and he didn't want to be a part part of it.
I think he I think he picked it back up, right, he moved
further south and now he picked it back up. But but at that time
between that time period, ither think it was like three and seven, two
thousand and three, two thousand and seven, we we we, you know,
we experienced this and he was not too He was not a happy camper,
and he just grabbed his gear and left. Was there any other Was
there any other tapes where it was mocking or saying other any other names or
any other words. I don't believe, So, I don't believe. So,
So it was just that one. Yeah, I mean, I mean
we would hear like in the night, uh sometimes you know, horses,
but then would have a grow at the very end of it. And there
was no horses in that area. So there was that one recording of the
chanting on the dock. Yeah, yeah, mm hmm. So this is
this kind of with you know, Lamar County is just really really weird.
I wouldn't say it's weirder than Brown Springs, but it's it's pretty up there.
So interesting in I also heard a recording and was actually there for the
event. I didn't hear the event at the time. We had set out
a recording at Lourie's house in Texas whenever she lived out by the name of
that leg that I can't remember outside of Zavalla. Yeah, and she had
a little dog at the time named Cookie that she had let out, you
know, to go potty, and she would call Cookie and you know,
call it back into the house or whatever. Well, we had set up
this recorder in her window on the back of her house and At one point
she let the dog out, and the dog like runs around to the back
of the house, and she goes outside and kind of walks to the corner
of the house on the front and she's calling for the dog to come back,
and it comes back and goes back inside the house. Well, on
the recording, you could hear the dog like the collar as it ran around
towards the back of the house, and then you hear this real low growl,
not from the dog. The dog was like a chihuahua. This was
a deep, large growl of something behind the house but close to the recorder,
and then you hear it say cookie, Cookie. Oh I think I
heard it. I remember from those stories. I mean, so yeah,
I think for sure. I mean, not even like talking about the language
aspect, but if they hear people saying stuff enough times, especially at someone's
home where they live in the area, yeah, I'm a firm believer that
they learn certain words then repeat them and try to mimic things all the time.
It's kind of scary though. It's kind of like you know what,
I think you know, predator? Yeah, like just that, like,
oh God, so I would say if I don't know who this present.
I think you told me this person's name. I don't want to say.
If I was Harry and I heard that, I would know I would Yeah,
but nope, I'm done. That's pretty that's pretty much what he did.
I mean, if you want to, you know, again, not
mention any names. But man, talking about a head trip that dude went
through whenever it came to bigfoot stuff. I don't blame him for walking away.
I mean he went through it. Man, he went through it.
Did he did he? Because normally when you hear something like that, or
when it's approached to you, did he freak out like a guy's messing with
me? Did someone say? Does someone do that? Like? Was he
accusing? You know? He was a serious person. He was very very
serious. And then we joked with him. Yeah, he would he would
be still be serious with it even when he knew we were joking with him.
So, uh, you know, whenever whenever the sun went down,
I'll just say this about this grip. Okay, when the when the sun
went down, everybody was professional, right, Everybody did what we're supposed to
do because safety came first, right, and so uh, we didn't mess
with anybody after the sun went down. We were and we joked and we
did it Mike during the day in the morning, you know, and stuff
like that. So well that's good. But he knew that, right,
Yeah, yeah, yeah, he knew that because you know, I don't
I don't blame him if he was like, you're messing with me or did
y'all do that? You know, I'll say this, this is because these
guys were they were with me with the with the TBRC, and I trusted
these guys with my life. So if I if I went out of the
woods with them and I like broke my ankle, I trusted them to carry
me out, or if they broke their ankle, they trusted me to carry
them out, right, you know, and you know we would do that
for each other. So next question comes from Burton Moran, who's actually been
on the podcast. He wants to know, since you started your podcast,
what is one of the greatest things you have experienced. Oh geez, that's
a tough question. Mm hmm. Honestly, this is gonna sound really corny,
but it's just whenever I get contacted by someone who tells me their story
and tells me how the podcast has helped them or tells me they want to
come on because they want to help other people the way that they've been helped
by listening to the podcast. Yeah, that's that's actually, that's great.
I love that about that. What about you, guys, Well, you
know we're gonna strictly just talk about your show. This is because because your
show, I mean you you have a great collection of people that come on
in your show. Not only do they have bigfoot experiences, but they have
dog Man, they have paranormal unexplained stuff and giant moths. Yeah, unexplained
huge bugs, and yeah, that's just it's it's it's awesome. So I'll
I'll just say this, Matt As It's like, I don't listen to my
show anymore because, like you know, we do the show, so we
listen to it. But I whenever I because I have to drive into work
like forty five minutes, and so I take that time to listen to your
show, and I really enjoy it because like you are very professional and and
I can I can kind of tell whenever you can kind of tell whenever you
hear someone go over their story. And there's been a couple of people I
can't remember off the top of my head. But there's a couple of people
that were telling their story and they had to take a break like mid story
because you know, it was still kind of bothering them. And for for
people to come out and tell their story on your show and they trust you
with it, you know, because I know I heard someone say, Hey,
I checked out your show. I know you you were serious, and
I only came on your show because you get serious. And I love that
about your show. It's just like you give people an avenue to talk about
that they probably couldn't even talk to you, like with their loved ones or
maybe a local law enforcement or something like that. So I love that about
your show. Well, I appreciate it that you know, that is the
focus behind the show. And I know this goes against all podcast rules,
but I would encourage anybody who thinks they might want to share their story,
even if it's not on Bigfoot Crossroads, reach out to somebody else, anybody
you can. You know, even just talking to somebody without ever coming on
the show can help, you know. Yeah, I know that over the
years, talking to all these people has helped me in my own personal journey
with this being a witness myself and the things that I've experienced in life.
It's very therapeutic. It's very therapeutic. I know, you know, listening
to our show and listening to Matt show. My listener is like to the
show. I just think it's it's you know, because there's some people who
just don't want to come out and talk about it. So I think just
listening to your show over and over this still helps out people, even if
people don't come forward. Next question comes from Mark Roberts. Since all the
UFO stuff is all the rage nowadays, why is the Bigfoot enigma still taboo?
Basically to the powers that be? Mark, that's a very good question,
great question, Mark, UFO stuff. So it's my belief and this
is something you know. I've had DJ on the show of the Collin All
Beans podcast and we've talked extensively about this. The United States government does not
do anything like what they're doing with the UFO stuff unless they're in a situation
where their hand is forced. And I believe that a combination of celebrities,
high ranking military officials, whistleblowers all kind of coming forward at a time when
the public was receptive to it and saying Hey, these things exist, We've
experienced them, We've experienced them while we were on duty. We're not going
to be quiet about it anymore. Has sort of made the government step up
and say like, yeah, okay, so there is stuff out there and
we're going to take a look at it. I also think that they have
an angle to play. Obviously, if you've got something flying around in the
skies that doesn't belong here and isn't from here, which again that's just opinion.
There's a lot of different theories about what the things are, but that
can be angled as a threat, something that we need to be afraid of,
and something to give the military funding for and other branches funding for.
Whenever it comes to Bigfoot. There aren't any celebrities or high ranking military officials
or anybody else coming forward and saying these things are real and they exist and
forcing the government to acknowledge it, right, So I just think that I
think that's what the situation is. I don't think they have a reason to
acknowledge them or you know, allow a discovery to happen. I just what's
the point. It wouldn't cause anything, but you know, another proof that
they've been lying to us about something and they're not going to do that,
right, It'll be a while if they do. Yeah, you would think
it's something has to major, has to happen, where like you said,
political figure, high ranking military thing, like they witnessed something and they come
forward and it is all of a sudden, it's like, oh, yeah
that exists, of all existed, Which my platform is always open for one
of those type of people to come forward and talk about it. I would
love to have somebody from like the Department of the Interior or something come on
and just you know, whistleblowers, bring it on. Man, let's do
this. Yeah, you know, I just wanted to add that, you
know, with UFOs and stuff, they're in the sky, right, They're
in the sky, and there's no there's no real estate value in the sky.
You can't own the sky. Right. But if you if you find
a bigfoot, say like east of Tyler, then you know, if you
see him walking across that county or whatever, then he's endangered. Right.
Then when he's endangered, you have to you know, cover that whole area
and say hey, this is in dangered species. But you know, we
don't know how far bigfoot can travel. Then you have to expand it.
If you expand it, then you can't do you can't do lumber, you
can't do aggressive expansion of you know, businesses or homes or whatever. You
just can't do that. And the government's never going to do that. They're
never going to give up plan to a bigfoot and say, hey, you
know this bigfoot, you know he travels between Tyler and I don't know,
Monroe or something, and they say, you know, we got to cover
this whole area. They're never going to admit that, and they're never going
to do it. So I don't think they're in our lifetime we're ever going
to see that. That's just my opinion. I will say this. I
think that if it was just some large undiscovered primate similar to an upright gorilla,
for instance, they wouldn't have ever been concerned with it. It would
already be in zoos, we'd already it would just be common knowledge that these
things exist, and it'd just be another part of our nature. I do
think for sure these things have been studied by the government. You have to
keep in mind, this is a global phenomenon, folks. It's not just
in North America. It's all over the world. So whenever I say the
government has studied these things, it could be China, it could be Russia,
it could be anywhere on the planet. There's no doubt that somebody has
captured these things and studied them and figured them out to a certain extent as
much as they were capable of doing. And my biggest thing is the reason
that they keep the cover up going. The reason that they don't acknowledge these
things exist is because they know what they are, and whatever that is,
they can't just put it in a zoo. It's not that easy, not
with these things. Great question though. Yeah. Jevin Moore, a long
time follower of the show, What's Up Jevin? Jevin says, talk about
the scary stuff you had happen out in the woods. Okay, Uh,
that's kind of a broad subject. It is. Not all of it was
Bigfoot related, for sure. I'd probably say the scarier things weren't Bigfoot related.
Man, that time that we were down there at that area in Lamar
County by the bridge, Yeah, yeah, that was probably it for me.
That was a combination of weird paranormal stuff, Bigfoot and people acting crazy
that they was really I want to say, I've been in the woods tons
of times, Matt, and that night was super freaking dark. Yeah.
I mean, if you were standing right next to me, I couldn't have
to like had to hold onto your shoulder or something. Dude. There was
a time when Okay, so, like I think it was either right before
or right after we went to the bridge place. There was a road that
we turned off and we like drove by an old cemetery. Yeah, and
then we like pulled off on another road and we just parked on that road
and there was a bridge on that road too, And uh, dude,
that was the darkest I've ever experienced. Yeah. I remember, like the
only people that I really knew there were you and Chad, and I was
just trying to keep track of where you guys were with your voices. I
mean it was that dark, dude. I couldn't see anything, and nobody
had any lights nothing. No, I think I want to say Luke was
there too, Yeah, he was there, but I didn't really know him
that well at that point. Well I felt safe, so yeah, yeah,
I'm sure you did. I remember just like kind of being in a
low key panic and like trying to find you and Chad in the dark and
just like act cool in front of everybody, you know, because like it's
all just a bunch of macho men out in the dark woods. But yeah,
dude, I was terrified. I was terrified. There was a guy
there. I can't think it was the guy's name, but he had his
own like night vision stuff, right, he created his own night vision stuff.
Yeah, I can't think. I think. I can't think of his
name for the life of me. It was It is one of those names.
It is like a country name, you know. I can't think of
it. But he wasn't around us, Like I go, wor'st the dude?
I go, wors to do with the night vision? Bring the guy
over here with us so we could see where we stuff. Laughing at y'all
looking at the knight vision? Yeah, probably. You know, I'm not
even from Texas and the majority of people there are, and we're just kind
of like in this caravan being led around in the backcountry of you know,
Texas, and all I know is like we drove by a cemetery and then
like pulled off on this road and just parked and got out and it was
completely pitch black dark. I mean, there's no houses no, nothing.
There's no no light anywhere. I couldn't see anything, and all I knew
was about fifty yards through the woods as a cemetery. Like I don't,
I don't want to be here. And uh that wasn't even the scary place.
That was just nothing even happened there, like nothing. Yeah, it
was just completely dark. Yeah. Oh man, I know so many people
are just talking crap. Now you listen, the dark is scary, okay,
And whenever you're hunting bigfoot in Texas, it's even scarier. He has
the upper hand when it's dark, So I mean knowing that other animals,
Yeah, other animals out there, they have the upper hand. So yeah,
no, I get it. I didn't even have a light on me,
like I didn't. I didn't have anything. I didn't to be honest,
I didn't think we were going to go to the wads. I thought
we were just going to meet up and talk. And you know that's what
you gotta have a I guess a travel kid. Ready. Yeah, I
had learned really quick, you know, just to throw stuff in my trunk
and batteries. Spotlight is the charge. Oh no, I charged it.
I used to do that to Steved all the time. How old were you
whenever I took you? And it was like that teenager, like thirteen or
sixteen. And I was just like, why fuck am I getting scared of
the dark. No, it's it's it's just a normal feeling. He used
to ask me, Matt. He goes, hey, did you bring any
flast nights? Like, yeah, I got a spot like in the in
the trunk. You go, okay, cool? I said, what hold
on? Did I charge it? He goes, come on, man,
I go, you go yeah, No, No, I definitely charged it.
Wait, no, I went out to the outing. I don't think
I charged it out to that. That's okay, I have for a batteries,
wait to bring him. You would do that, And it was just
a roller coaster relieved, scared, relieved, scared, relieved, terrified,
And I was like, dang it, Robert, but what I should have
told you that Luke was there, and so origine Luke was there. Yes,
he was there, and he helped me out through that that feeling.
But you were you were right about one thing on there. You were all
like, we're probably not gonna get anything. We're not gonna get in probably
any activity, which we did yeah, and you did say you're not going
to see your hand. That was the first stet or a lesson I did,
or you know, I tried that as soon as we got out.
You turn off the light everywhere, all the light the cars turned off and
I looked. I looked at I know my hand was in the front of
my face. I was touching it. I couldn't see it. Yeah,
I fuck. He was right, and you were all like you were talking
here and then talking there, and like you were moving. I go,
oh, crap, where's he going now? I gotta find my footing and
not not trip. I don't even know where we're at. Yeah, we
were. We were in the woods where some paranormal group Matt and then we
were we had bread brought luke, I think Tim Clay Uh, Billy Simmons
Junior was with us, uh, and we did a couple of tree knocks
and we got some responses within like I don't know, ten minutes, and
they were they were kind of distant, and then they they eventually they were
getting closer, like within ten minutes that we were like getting closer and closer.
And then we had like some eyeshine over to our left had some creek
and we were on a cemetery. Yeah, oh yeah, I forget I
mentioned that, Matt. We were on a cemetery. We were in the
cemetery, not fifty yards away. We were on top of us as cemetery,
so it was it was pretty and we were playing with Luigi board.
Oh my god. Now that was a crazy night. Dead End Road also
a terrifying place. Last time I was there, I said I was never
going back. I didn't. So you're saying you want to go back.
I'm just noticing that, like all the all the instance instances that I'm thinking
of our places where you had not just bigfoot but also paranormal stuff going on
at the same time. But I mean at the dead End Road, and
I'm sure this has happened to other places, and I'm just not thinking of
it. But hearing like the howling and everything of something I don't know what
it was. I'm assuming it was bigfoot. Like whenever you hear like a
group of them start howling and screaming and like running through the woods towards you,
and like you can hear them getting closer from where it originated and everything.
That's just a terrifying feeling that'll get the old ice water running through the
veins of anybody. I don't care who you are, for sure, Mike
Prime, Where do they live in caves, hollow earth or nomadic? Structures?
Are shelters for travel? These are all questions meanings of glyphs. Okay,
So if we break that one down, do they live in caves hollow
earth? I don't think hollow earth is a thing like I don't think so
anything nomadic. I also don't think that they're nomadic, and I also don't
think that they live in caves. I think those are misconceptions of a lot
of people. Now. I do think that in certain areas where they have
caves that they could live in, they will take advantage of that. Here
in Oklahoma, we don't have a lot of large caves. Most of the
caves that I've ever seen in my life were very difficult for a human to
lay down and crawl in. So a large, you know, eight foot
tall, six hundred pound thing that has four foot wide shoulders, I just
don't really see them doing that. But in other parts of the world,
these larger cave systems, I'm sure if they have access to them, and
it's a safe environment for them. I don't see why they wouldn't take shelter
in caves. Most things that live in caves are adapted to cave life,
though, and these things don't seem to be adapted to caves. You know.
I did hear story of, you know, a Catto elder talk about,
you know, their ancestors and where they came from, because I know,
I asked a question about, you know, what's what's the cattle name
for Bigfoot? And he didn't have one, and I thought that was kind
of odd. And he was telling me the story of their elders and that
they came from the underground and they were told not to look back and whatever.
If someone looked back, he believed that that was the Bigfoot coming up
behind them if they look back, and so that was, you know,
the way he explained it to me, that they came from the underground.
So, I mean, I don't know if that's Laura, And that's just
like may maybe got spread out to other people and they just constantly thought of,
you know, they come from the earth or underground or caves or whatever.
So I don't know, I mean, that's a that's to get there.
I mean I know I've never heard not you know, not to say
that's it's not possible. But I've never heard of a story of a bigfoot
in the cave or they have the strength to burrow themselves so from just go
underground and hide. I mean, we've heard of like situations in creaking riverbeds
where there'll be big dugout areas in the side of the banks where it looks
like they're getting up in there. Yeah. Or I know, I found
a lot of like high grass that got pushed down and it just looked like
it looks like like a cow or a horse maybe laid down for the night.
And there's no cows or horses in this area. And so I've seen
a couple of times I've seen tree structures. You know, it looks like
they put like someone put it down, you know, to cover them from
the wind or the rain or whatever. Yeah, I mean, I don't
know. It's like I said, it's conjecture. So I don't know.
Usually the structures, I don't know what the structures mean. I don't even
know that Bigfoot's making them. I don't know how the structures get there.
Yeah, in situations where they're not made by humans. But I've never really
seen a structure that I looked like something large could be like living in it
or using it as a shelter. Yeah, a blind maybe, but nothing
like permanent by any means. Mike also asked about the meanings of glyphs.
Glyphs are kind of a new one, not something that existed, you know,
twenty years ago in the Bigfoot world. Yeah, that's a tough one
for me because I haven't experienced at firsthand. So that's something that I have
to experience firsthand because otherwise there's always the possibility that, I'm sorry, it's
just the way it is, that the person presenting the glyphs are lying and
made the glyphs themselves, or it's just sticks laying on the ground and it's
not an actual glyph. Yeah. I mean I've been in East Texas over
in for springs with Luke, like my early years, and we used to
find like stacks of wood and it and it didn't look like, you know,
like someone's trying to create a fire, like a like a campfire or
something. And Luke's theory on that was that like he would look at the
he would he would pull up the wood and he would look at it and
he was like he was like a master at finding out what, you know,
what lease were, what type of flower was, or something. And
he would look at these these sticks of woods and he said, this looks
like he came from a peak country, or this looked like he came from
a Mexican plumb and so his idea and this was like early on that these
bigfoots were leaving this like stacks of wood to tell other bigfoot what was in
the area. And I know that's a long long stretch. Okay, it's
a long long stretch. And I remember early on I was I was talking,
I was communicating with Eric Altman with Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society, and I was
asking him this. I was asking the question, I said, are you
finding treat you know, stick structures? And I didn't. We didn't call
him the lists back then or whatever. And he was like sending me pictures
back that he would find stacks of woods, like you know, pieces of
wood like in the woods. And whenever I brought it up to Luke,
he kind of knixt it, kind of stops it right away, said,
hey, we're not we're not sharing that in from yet. And he would
tell me not to, and I said, okay, you know, I
went along with him, and because I think he had to, he had
to okay, every every information that was shared out with us, and I
didn't do that and I didn't follow protocol. So anyway, I just wanted
to say that Matt so well, I've heard that theory as well from Luke
himself. The thing is, so, if that is true, then there
has to be some sort of sign or marker that tells other bigfoot how to
find that stack. Mm hmm. I mean, because you know, needle
in a haystack, you know, what are the odds of a bigfoot walking
across that exact stack to find out that information? Yeah, and maybe that's
what some of the other structures are, like the tree bows and the x'es
and things like that. I would just again ask people to remind themselves that
these structures are not meant for us. If Bigfoot is making them, they're
not leaving signs for humans to decode. They're talking to one another, right.
Absolutely. One interesting thing down there in Lamar County there was reportedly some
glyph type things being left and it turned out to be ogum, which was
a secret language of druids that they would use to communicate with one another,
to let each other know where their clandestine meetings were taking place while they're being
persecuted. Interesting for sure, if it was Bigfoot doing it, It's same
thing as you know, the glyphs that people are finding. You know,
I've seen people post pictures online of these stick glyphs, you know, and
showing you know, what they mean and everything. So Bigfoot is using ancient
languages of humans for some reason. Yeah, how they would learn those who
taught them, How did they spread that information to one another all over the
world. I mean, yeah, that's that's a far reach. Yeah,
I don't know how to connect those dots. I'm just not to that point
yet. Yeah, And I'll just answer it like this, because like I
was a part of that group that found that stuff, and we didn't post
it anywhere. So we didn't post it anywhere because at that time, it
was not it was not one of those things that you talked about openly.
We you know, we had to find more data where we had to experience,
you know, do more experiments to see if that was the case.
And so it was just kind of odd, you know, because I remember
we were discussing that and we threw out that idea. I can't remember who
brought that idea out, but that's something we didn't share. So let's not
let's not post this anywhere. So because it's just one of those things that
we did. People back then in the early two thousand, we didn't talk
about that because you know, we were just focused on trying to prove bigfoot
was existing, you know, you know the language stuff that was like,
you know, I guess a movement thirty two and we were still on four,
you know, and as one of the things that we had to line
up our ducks in the row and let's prove it exist. Because people used
to say, you know, people used to ask me all the time out
you know, you know, what kind of drink lines or dart you're gonna
use a knock that bigfoot down. I said, you know, let's worry
about seeing it first. Let's see it first before we start talking about that,
because you know, you don't know what typo, you know, what
body structure, what kind of muscle mass, or how much they weigh.
You can't you don't know how much a bigfoot just by rudding by. You
don't know how much ways, you guess, Yeah, you don't know how
it's going to metabolize the drug, if it's going to react the same to
the drug as anything else. I mean, there's so many questions. I'm
with you. I think we're all still on step one. I don't think
any of us should advance yet until we can actually get this thing proven or
on video or something. No offense to the Patison film. Robert Goherman is
very interested in any minim black encounters with witnesses following cryptid sightings. Those are
pretty far and few between, but they do exist. Yeah. I remember
Luke telling me a story. I forgot what town it was. It was
in East Texas, and it was supposedly a story of a bigfoot getting hit
by a vehicle and the bigfoot got lodged in the front window, and I
was I think it was like dead on impact, and it was a lady
driving. She called the local sheriff. When they called, you know,
within I guess minutes, a black van with people dressed in black just came
and just took the body away. And I don't know what happened to the
lady. I don't know if she got taken away too, But that was
the story that he had shared with me on I think it was. It
was a while back, but because I was asking a bunch of questions because
I don't know, Bob, I just I heard it from someone, heard
it from someone, and so that's one of the stories I've heard, Matt.
I don't know about you. Stephen James had a story where he was
out with a group and they were approached by a bunch of officials in unmarked
vehicles with heavy weaponry and held them all for questioning and then had them all
leap. I guess I don't remember the exact details of the story, but
it was something that stood out because it was kind of surrounding some people that
were charging for outings and stuff like that down in Texas. I believe,
if I remember correctly, they were getting lots of attention at the time,
and that seems to be the case a lot of times, is whenever there's
a lot of attention, or like you're saying, a bigfoot ends up dead
somewhere and it has to be removed. Brenda Harris came on the show and
talked about an incident where she lives where they found a bigfoot body I guess
had been killed in an avalanche or something, and some government officials, some
men in black type individuals showed up and had the body removed and carted off,
you know, threatening everybody. Then you have I'm kind of reluctant to
talk about this one, but Claudia Actlee was a researcher. She's no longer
with us. She passed away this past year. As a matter of fact,
M sorry to hear that. She had been a researcher for a while
and then not too many years ago, she got video of a bigfoot,
a daylight video. I personally believe it is a video of a bigfoot.
I have watched the video several times. She was with her daughter, I
think they're out hiking or something and just saw this bigfoot and she took video
with her phone. And after that she actually filed a lawsuit against the state
of California trying to get bigfoot actually recognized. Officially, the lawsuit did not
go in her favor, but part of her story was and she told me
this firsthand, that after she got the video and went public with it,
a couple of men in black individuals showed up at her house and according to
her. There's no way that her house I guess, was somewhere where you
didn't just stumble across it on accident. You know. She didn't answer the
door. She saw them whenever they pulled up. They I think, if
I remember correctly, they banged on the door and like yelled her name,
and she refused to go to the door. And so I thought that it
was kind of interesting. She was very convinced that it was directly tied to
her releasing the video. I don't know if it was, because maybe she
was, you know, if the lawsuit had already been filed at this point
or anything, like, I don't have that information, right, that's scary.
Yeah, and now she's no longer with us, which as far as
I'm aware of, was due to natural causes. And I'm not going to
speculate. That was my next quest. How long? How long was the
time when her release the video and her passing away? No ears? Okay,
so it wasn't like anything direct, But that's good. That's good because
that's like, man, that's kind of scary if someone bangs on your door
and shouts your name, you know. And yeah, like I said,
it was a couple of men in black type individuals like two guys wearing sunglasses
and all that. I think I'm more scared of men in black than I
am big But Jimmy Kean Jimmy Kean was also on the show. Jimmy Kean
wants to ask our opinions on metallic sounds heard in the woods? What are
they and what causes them? You ever heard metallic sounds in the woods?
They're they're you know, I how do you okay, how do you recognize
a metallic sound? I mean, like, you know, wood on wood,
you know when what I would it's a metallic sounds, Okay, it
could be construction, could be yeah, it could be a like a like
an excavator, excavator, excavator. I do know of situations where heavy machinery
has been heard out in the middle of nowhere with no explanation like it,
but it sounds like an excavator running, you know, out in the middle
of the wood somewhere. I've also talked to a lady who got very angry
with me, I might add, she claiming to have bigfoot activity on her
property. She was wanting my help with it. She sent me a slew
of recordings to listen to, and she sent this one recording that she she
said, sounded like a baby crying, and whenever I was listening to it,
I told her that what I was hearing did not sound like a baby
crying. It sounded very metallic. It sounded like metal against metal, and
it was rhythmic and definitely in a sequence not sporadic at all, And that
made her very angry and upset with me. I don't know what she thought
I was implying. I wasn't in planing. I was just giving her my
honest answer. But like I did listen to that recording a lot, and
it definitely sounded like a metallic noise, and she swore that there was nothing
out there metallic that could have been making that noise. So it's definitely something
that I've heard of in that right. You know, I don't know as
far as what causes it. I don't have any idea. The ripping apart
of dimensions, I don't know. I mean, do you think it's possible
for a big poot off You walk into the woods and you know there's like
an old chair, this has metal legs, you might rip them off,
Yeah, and just blak bang them together. I mean we used to joke
around. You know, Randy Harrington says, a bigfoot still like one of
those little propane tanks out of the back of his truck, and uh,
we used to joke. Yeah, we used to joke around. If you
hear some banging propane tanks around in the woods, it's, you know,
Randy's bigfoot. That's a that's a odd yeah, but I think that would
be the most obvious answer is just a bigfoot has gotten its hands on something
metallic and carry it off and likes to play with it. Yeah, they're
going to have some some entertainment. I guess it's the finding intriguing. I
guess the noise it's different. I mean, who knows that's possible. That's
that's a that's an interesting question. I will say that that's very interesting.
I've never I never heard anything. I wonder if we could get him on
and ask him if has he heard it? Yeah? And if so,
what was like? Was it rhythmic? Was it it was just random parts
of the day or night it only happens at night. Well, yeah,
that's interesting. Next question comes from Jacob Ruckman. Jacob wants to hear our
opinions on knocking. Hm. He says, been having a lot of knocking
sounds, but always the same, but in different spots in the woods in
front of my house. It's not woodpeckers or just trees popping. It's that
distinct sound, you know what I mean. From fall to spring, it
seems I get the stranger things happening here. You've heard my experiences before,
but I think it's something other than a stick or a rock being walloped against
a tree, kind of like people hearing a bang on the wall in a
haunted house. Jacob has also been on the show wanting to know about knocking.
I thought it was interesting that he's talking about comparing it to paranormal activity
in a haunted house, right, because that sounds like like a hand or
or a fist hit in the wall. Yeah. I mean I would ask
if are they in threes? So yeah, I mean I've heard tons of
three knocks in the middle of nowhere. I've heard them at all hours of
the night. I've been in cabins where you know, the back of the
cabin gets slapped, you know, once or twice. I've heard all that.
I've heard, you know, rocks being clicked together in the middle of
the night. I mean, I don't know. I mean we had always
believed that, you know, it's our theory that is just you know,
one big foot group, you know, telling another group, hey we're leaving
the area, or hey there's people there, let's move. I mean,
that's just the theory that we've had experience with. It could mean other things
in other like other states. I don't know. Yeah, it wasn't something
that we had. Happened a lot. It happened more in Texas than it
did in Oklahoma, and in areas like southeaster n Oklahoma where you have mountains,
there's still trees there. But it seems like in areas like that they
use rocks more than wood knocking, almost like they use whatever they can get
their hands on the easiest. Yeah, then you have, you know,
the idea that it's not wood at all, but it's like mouth popping or
them slapping their chest like a gorilla. Yep, there's you know, lots
of theories out there. I can also tell you that, believe it or
not, owls make a popping noise by slapping their wings together, and it's
really loud and sounds like a knock. But if you ever have experienced a
true wood knock, there is no mistaking what that sound is. I mean,
it sounds like a baseball bat. It doesn't sound like somebody taking a
stick and hitting a tree. It doesn't sound like a pop. I mean
it's a crack that reverberates through the woods and echoes forever. Yeah, I
mean I've heard I've heard like limbs being snapped, and then I've heard three
knocks and there are two different sounds. Yeah, they do. They do
rock knocks. Yeah. Up in when we were in Kimichi, We're at
you know, Kenny's cabin, I've heard you know, you know, rock
knocks all night or like a big rock on it because there's a bunch of
boulders up there. Yeah, I've heard rocks like being pounded on boulders,
like throughout the night, like at three in the morning. You know,
when I went up to go use the restroom and would shout that I I
go, I hear you, like I shout really loud, I go hear
you, and they would stop for like, you know, like four or
five seconds, and it would continue. Would you freak out if you said,
I hear you and then there's like a guttural I hear you too,
I would probably get yeah, yeah, that's terrifying. Yeah, I don't
know. I think I think there's a possibility that there's several different things going
on and they're all just being lumped under woodknocks. H I mean, because
like I'm not all the bigfoots to do the same thing. There are different
reasons and whatever. And again, why are we necessarily attributing woodknocks to Bigfoot?
Why does it have to be Bigfoot doing it? Right? This has
been the one hundredth episode of Bigfoot Crossroads. Robert Steven thank you for joining
