Speaker 2: So we talked WNBA love drama. Still getting feedback from that. Appreciate it and remember the NBA playing games for this week. So if we have time today, we'll talk about that. I was looking at our Twitter feedback x and uh Burnett forty four made a good point, he goes yo.

00:01:58
Speaker 1: Coreen and Rich.

00:02:01
Speaker 2: You did mention how drafting Fudd would make page happy, but what about the val happy? But what about the alternative? If you don't draft her, you're really like upsetting your star player.

00:02:15
Speaker 3: And think about it.

00:02:16
Speaker 2: If you're telling me that star players the teams run things by them. Why would they not run something by Page Beckers? Meaning like, if they're making a big decision in the Bronx, I'm pretty certain that Aaron Rodgers is giving a heads up if the cher and judges to what I say, Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Judge. If they're making a big decision in Kansas City, don't you feel like they give mahomes the little like, hey, Patrick, just let you know here's what's doing. Star players get that that little heads up, And I think Paige Beckers would be awfully. I feel like she would feel backstabbed a bit if they don't, if they don't choose her girlfriend, if she wants that.

00:02:53
Speaker 5: And it's not like Azy Fudd is some fringe second rounder, like she's gonna go, She's whether whatever team it's the uh, you know, the Atlanta Dream have the first pick, first overall pick. They're gonna pick Azy Fudd. So it's like they have they kind of have to take her. They have to.

00:03:07
Speaker 1: It'd be weird if they didn't. I think it would.

00:03:09
Speaker 5: I think they take a little gamble with them being in a relationship, but overall, I think that it makes much more sense to take.

00:03:14
Speaker 2: Her and the big history in sports. Rich's reluctance to go to Hello Kiddy Night. Tonight here in Los Angeles, the Mets take on the Dodgers. Mets are stinking too, Mets and the Dodgers going at it. It's the battle of the high pay rolls. You got to tell me more about your reluctance, and then we have a question based on you know, New York fans especially, I think it's the culture of baseball because I've been seeing a lot of this, Like you have to be insane to want to play and to want to watch baseball because seventy percent of its failure, right, it's like getting through the failure and your team loses a lot. You know how many times I tell kid on my team when I coach, like you know, Aaron Judge and Otani, they you know, they fail seven to eight out of ten times, you know, and you know MS lose a lot. It's just part of the game. It's the long season. Best team to lose is some sixty roughly sixty to seventy games. You know, when you have expectations like they do in New York, people will start to panic. So we're gonna ask you a question based on that. But before you tell me about your drama, Rich, it's New York versus La right now. I know we've debated this, but right now today, would you rather a deep slice from New York or real juicy beerria taco here from LA? I rather pizza always. New York's that way better food than LA. But I'm pans down. You eat a taco bell all the time. I'm talking eat a tango bell at the home day. I go to taco stands more often than I go to taco bell and it's still not even close pizza pizza in New York.

00:04:43
Speaker 1: When you eat tacos every day, you know, I actually agree with you. I was just seeing if I caught you in a different mood.

00:04:48
Speaker 5: Your taco bell consumption is actually low and you eat tacos every day from a bunch of different places.

00:04:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, ready, let me change your question. Wherever the greatest taco place is? If there is one dy need do you have?

00:04:59
Speaker 3: Like?

00:04:59
Speaker 2: Is we are a famous taco places, so the best La taco versus just you know, average New York pizza.

00:05:05
Speaker 3: You still choose pizza? Please?

00:05:06
Speaker 1: Not even close?

00:05:08
Speaker 3: Wow?

00:05:08
Speaker 1: Okay, hey, I would go for a nice deep slice or bigger? The bigger LA.

00:05:15
Speaker 2: New York debate for me is bacon, egg and cheese on a like in everything Bagel versus the breakfast like the best breakfast Berino.

00:05:23
Speaker 1: That to me is a better question New York versus LA.

00:05:26
Speaker 2: Bacon, egg and cheese on everything, or like a sweet like Chudy so egg and cheese.

00:05:31
Speaker 3: But cove if you're ever in the Highland Park area, vias taco's so good?

00:05:38
Speaker 1: Yeah, but Rich sayes he take average New York pizza over the any day.

00:05:41
Speaker 5: Wait, wasn't that the Was that the taco stand that was featured in the Super Bowl halftimes?

00:05:45
Speaker 3: Different one, right? I mean you got you know, forty really good authentic taco spots here.

00:05:51
Speaker 2: I gotta ask, depending on where you live around the country, this can't be a local thing. I know it's not here in LA. I know it's certainly not in New York where you grew up, or Texas with my wife if it's from or Idaho where you're girls from. Do we all have the same reluctance that, like going to the stadium for a concert or a game, you always end up loving it. But just the thought of, like if you could just teleport there.

00:06:14
Speaker 1: It would be so.

00:06:15
Speaker 3: Much more awesome.

00:06:16
Speaker 2: Danny, I don't know if is this the hassle of getting there? So something about getting to Dodger Stadium that is it like a stereotyp your whole childhood, like getting there's a pain in the ass.

00:06:24
Speaker 3: Oh yeah. I think that's the reason why my mom made our grandmother take us to the stadium. She didn't want to have anything to do with the traffic. Yeah.

00:06:32
Speaker 2: I think a lot of times it's not that you don't want to hang or go to the concert or go to the game. It's like you don't want to deal with the hassle of driving, traffic, parking.

00:06:40
Speaker 3: Yeah, And then she knew we wanted to stay for the whole game. We wouldn't leave early. My grandmother she just sat around with the sun umbrella, listening to Vin Scully on her transmitter radio.

00:06:49
Speaker 2: So she didn't care, like to me like, and I sound like a little cry baby. So I accept it, guys, Rich Davis, crybaby, I'm saying it. The idea of my wife picking me up on the way, She's like, babe, i'll pick you up on way.

00:07:00
Speaker 1: Just leave your car at Fox.

00:07:02
Speaker 2: That's four o'clock at the stadium at like five, sitting in an hour in traffic. Then I'm there two hours early so my kids could get a Hello Kitty shirt. I know he's not like a baby, but I'm like, what I don't want? I can just and my Mets are stinking. Peterson's pitching. Who stinks? No One Soto he's on the il and I heard Edwin Diaz. They're not even playing the trumpets because heat. They're reassessing his role because he's struggling.

00:07:26
Speaker 3: Danny j I mean he had one bad lost save there. Robleski is starting for the Dodgers. Rich, so a little bit of a bright spot for you as a Mets fan because he's not the Dodgers.

00:07:37
Speaker 2: Some offensive there's gonna be at least nine runs scored. I hate two Yeah for the Dodgers. I hope because I hate to root against you, Rich, But we got a bet who has the better record?

00:07:47
Speaker 1: Yankees are Mets. We have a thousand dollars bet, and I'm.

00:07:50
Speaker 3: Also over that's over one hundred and sixty two.

00:07:52
Speaker 2: You could root for my kids to get their first man some of that Dan Bayer survivor league, and I chose the Dodgers this week because they play your weak ass Mets and the Rockies, you'll less go.

00:08:03
Speaker 3: Even more reason for I just want you to then lose. No, no way, dude.

00:08:08
Speaker 2: So the question is, you know, should rich man it up? He has this reluctance and then back to the game at hand. I can't really say much about Rich's Mets because the Yankees are terrible right now, right now, it's a long season. Yeah, what's the earliest you could fire a manager? Because that's really what becomes the bark of the town, the narrative.

00:08:28
Speaker 1: It's like, all right for the.

00:08:29
Speaker 2: Yankees' like Jashism's the worst, he has the worst baseball, IQ Christian, we paid this bum all that money.

00:08:35
Speaker 3: Oh my god, Aaron Boone steaks he's the worst.

00:08:39
Speaker 2: And then for Rich de already saying fire the coach, what's the is that like hitting the panic button too soon?

00:08:46
Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's not the manager's fault that Lindor is having trouble fielding right now. Lindor has the yips something. Thank you, Rich Lindor. Even if he starts cold at the plate, usually his gloves stays hot. So it is strange to see those brain farts he's had on the field.

00:09:02
Speaker 1: Do you have a life slumper? What's going on? That's the bigger question. What's colder than cold ice? Cold dry ice?

00:09:13
Speaker 3: Thank you?

00:09:13
Speaker 2: Uh, shake it like a polar picture?

00:09:16
Speaker 3: Thank you? Out cast?

00:09:18
Speaker 2: What's called to the b a nice coat? Do you know right now? This is a stat that you wouldn't even believe? And again, I'm a Mets fan, so I'm allowed to bring this up. Lindor, who's like, you know, is he not getting along with everyone? Star Player All Star started the All Slay Game last year a shortstop for the NL. Would you believe right now he has zero home run, zero rbi.

00:09:42
Speaker 1: That's insane.

00:09:44
Speaker 2: No, I would thought he had one RBI right now, and he's got a few and had some mental er. So it really comes down to what the players are doing right. But people are like Mendoza's gotta go. I looked it up. The earliest manager has ever been fired to start the season. This is when we were little kiddos. Cal Ripkins Senior managed the Orioles when ohen six and they pulled the plug six games into the season. As far as a bigger sample size, what would be considered in early firing in twenty sixteen, Freddy Gonzalez managed the Braves. He started out nine and twenty eight and they're like, we've seen enough. That's about a fourth of the way through. But would you be shocked if a big market team with a big payroll said, hey, we're like a couple weeks into the season, we could see what's happening here. I wouldn't be shocked because of the amount of money we're talking here. The Mets are big spenders, and if you remember last year, you're not getting productivity out of this team, Like you gotta make moves. Something's got to happen. Like I know it's too early to panic for the fans, like relax a little bit, but you got to show some sense of urgency, some sense.

00:10:54
Speaker 1: Of like getting on the right track.

00:10:56
Speaker 2: And that goes for the Yankees or any team of that caliber paying that kind of any to these players that aren't producing.

00:11:02
Speaker 1: It's like, do you care?

00:11:03
Speaker 2: Like I love Jazz Chisholm, but his nonchalant attitude not even knowing the rules this past weekend kind of pathetic, like the fans. When the fans seem to care more than the players who are getting paid millions of dollars. That's the problem. You talk about that all the time. It's funny you would bring that up. I put that on the manager sometime, like, yo, get it right. I took a screenshot of this because I thought it was interesting because we talk about, dude, it's a long season. You look at you look at some of the end of the year's stats and standings in baseball every year, and then you go back to, like, hey, what dof things look like in mid April, and you'd be like, oh my god, we panicked. It's a long season, dude. It's a long, long season. So when a guy's slumping.

00:11:44
Speaker 1: Over a fifteen.

00:11:46
Speaker 2: Game stretch, can you really assess fifteen out of one hundred and sixty two games?

00:11:50
Speaker 1: No, But if Lindor's cold tonight, Rich, you can give him your Hello Kitty sweatshirt.

00:11:55
Speaker 3: It's a good idea.

00:11:56
Speaker 2: It's the real reason Rich is going speaking of cold, Jazz Chisholm, I'm curious what you guys thought of this. To quote Jazz, you you actually have the sound. Oh no, not about the rules. I have another thing. Jazz Chisholm is quota saying it's cold. It's literally all it is. I'm not using I'm not using it as an excuse. As soon as the weather heats up, I heat up. That's what it is. Well, it's hard to function, Haman, So he didn't grow up with the cold.

00:12:28
Speaker 1: It's hard to he goes. It's hard to function when you can't even feel the bat.

00:12:32
Speaker 2: Well, guess when it's also called out in October? So what are you saying, Jazz, I don't like that. You gotta you gotta adjust. You accept it. Wear a turtleneck, you accept the fact that some of these guys just can't play. Wear some insulated batting gloves, put on some some freezy freakys. Yeah, wear some ear muffs. I don't care, because if you want to play in October, it's gonna be cold, dude, And I love jazz chism. So when is it too early to panic? Is the question here? And Rich put his Hello Kitty shirt on eBay immediately or just sell it to someone at the stadium. Put out an offer up man Facebook, Marketplace only creepos.

00:13:08
Speaker 3: It's a hoodie that adds about two hundred dollars to it.

00:13:11
Speaker 2: Sell it to Manzi bro Hey, Danny, what do you think man? As far as like forget the Mets in general. What's too early to fire a manager or a coach? Like how early into the season, Like do you think you could see a vibe that early on? Like the Mets are seven and nine, I would say the Mets is more fair. Sorry to interrupt, Dan, but let me just get this thought out. When there's so much drama in the LBC and in the Mets clubhouse and in the WNBA, when there's so much drama between Lindor and Soto, it's like, that does fall on the manager, even though they're adults and you can't control what people do. Like if Carlos Mendoza was taken more seriously, they'd work that out and they'd figure it out. If he can't get these dudes to play together and play right and and win essentially, which is the name of the game, it falls. It does fall on him here, I do I do believe that rich and again hot, what is it the second highest payroll? Yeah? You stop meth thought, No fell like a pause day and the same what's up?

00:14:12
Speaker 3: It is dramatic because if you get fired this early into the season, I'm not buying it. Like the players need to perform on the field and rich. Your manager can't get out there and make those plays for Lindor, you can't get their bats to be hot. I don't know what's going on in the clubhouse as far as him firing up the players or being a leader for that team, but you also need your star players to lead by example. Unless there's a glaring issue in the clubhouse with that manager, you at least got to give them what to the All Star break.

00:14:44
Speaker 2: I think the bet to make tonight, knowing that I'll be there and luck never goes my way. Maybe tonight we change things up. What is today the day prop bet wise that you throw a little something on Lindor his first RBI, maybe his first home tonight. I mean it has to happen eventually.

00:15:02
Speaker 3: In the line. Right now, the Dodgers by a run and a half and the over under is eight and a half runs.

00:15:07
Speaker 2: I might see some offense tonight. Well, hey, you could look for me on TV. I'll be wearing a Hello Kitty sweasher. You know it's crazy for me too. I'm looking at like everyone else there, I'm looking up Carlos Mendoza, the manager of the New York Mets.

00:15:20
Speaker 1: I'm three years older than this guy.

00:15:23
Speaker 2: So, I mean, it's not an easy task when you're trying to get all these dudes to get on the same time, on the same page, and you.

00:15:29
Speaker 1: Know, God bless them. But we'll see what happens tonight.

00:15:33
Speaker 2: All right, Well, hey, speaking of baseball, coming up, we are gonna play Big Poppy Trivia. We bring in Boston Red Sox Legend, Big Poppy Bootleg Poppy Bootleg Poppy to give away some prizes, play some games.

00:15:47
Speaker 3: We'll do that.

00:15:47
Speaker 2: And your thoughts on when is it too early to fire a coach or manager in any sport?

00:15:52
Speaker 1: Really?

00:15:53
Speaker 2: I mean, can you play two weeks of a season and be like, now, I could tell this isn't gonna work.

00:15:56
Speaker 1: What do you get? Do you have to give a time? We'll take your feedback. Next right here could be non Rich on Fox Sports Radio.

00:19:29
Speaker 1: This is the week we've talked about it. What does everyone? What does everyone love to say? As far as the NBA.

00:19:35
Speaker 3: Goes, especially you two always well long regular season. I'm going to start watching really when the playoffs start. That's what I'm going to get excited about the NBA. Here we are.

00:19:45
Speaker 2: And the one thing I'll point out by saying, all the playing games. Just last week we talked about how the NBA listen. If you're a die hard basketball fan, you knew how to find your team every day. But we did point out how the NBA is a little scattered because there's different off days where in baseball you know your team's off Monday or thirsty. I would say the inconsistency doesn't help. The inconsistency of not knowing who's playing and the inconsistency of when the games are on where to find them. Yeah, there's a lot of networks that got their you know, finger in that pie. As far as the playing games, they're all on Amazon Prime yep, so there's no confusion.

00:20:20
Speaker 3: That helps.

00:20:21
Speaker 2: Over the next few days, you'll catch all those games on Prime. Playing games. Got some big stars in those playing games, so it should be fun. I'm stars.

00:20:31
Speaker 1: I'm actually more intrigued than you would think.

00:20:33
Speaker 2: I think the playing games maybe not so much because once the real playoff start then it's.

00:20:40
Speaker 5: You know, it's kind of like the play in game for the NCAA tournament. You're like, okay, now the field is said, yeah, Like.

00:20:44
Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know.

00:20:45
Speaker 2: I just think it's you know, giving teams that the first forest they can't maybe don't necessarily deserve to even be there to begin with.

00:20:52
Speaker 1: Are now in.

00:20:52
Speaker 5: So the NBA playoffs are like three months long, so it's like its own little season.

00:20:56
Speaker 1: That's why I that's why I say, like.

00:21:00
Speaker 2: I really pay a lot of attention during the playoffs, but the regular season, I'm like, what for two thirds of the league to make it all?

00:21:07
Speaker 3: Right? So on a scale listen one to ten, how excited are you guys for the NBA playoffs?

00:21:12
Speaker 2: Scale one to ten, yay, I would say that level of excited. Yeah, right now, Right now, the blatant tanking is not helping. I think the vibe with basketball in comparison, that's over now.

00:21:24
Speaker 3: That's that's why now I know these teams all need to step it up and it needs to be a good sure run for the NBA.

00:21:31
Speaker 2: I think it needs to be a good playoff run to really remind everybody like, yeah, you know, base basketball is awesome, you know as far as the playing games go. I mean, I think you're more casual fan that likes more star power. Would you say Warriors Clippers seems to be the one on the docket Wednesday that has the most buzz and that's the nine ten seed. So winner of that then has to play the next day.

00:21:54
Speaker 8: So I think if the Knicks make a run, people get excited because it's the you know, the Garden and everything. Timberwolves Nuggets in the past have had amazing series In their first round series, rot gets Lakers with Lebron against Durant, the shorthanded Lakers, I think will be will be interesting.

00:22:14
Speaker 3: So it'll be there.

00:22:15
Speaker 8: It's just a question of if it's Oklahoma City in San Antonio in the conference finals, which I think would be awesome.

00:22:21
Speaker 2: People are saying that the Nuggets Spurs Round two would be a hell battle Jokich versus Wenby to see, like, you know where these teams really lie with with you know, something on the line.

00:22:33
Speaker 8: I would rather see the Spurs in Thunder than the Nuggets and Thunder. But I think I think that there will be enough there too.

00:22:38
Speaker 2: And you're you're definitely right about the Knicks. The Knicks, not just because we're from New York. When the Knicks go on a run, it sort of rejuvenates the Eastern Conference a bit because it's like I'll be honest, as much as we don't like the Cowboys, Dan Buyer, when the Cowboys are good, there is more NFL buzz like when there's certain teams that when they're good, you either love to hate on the fan base or that fan base is pumped.

00:22:59
Speaker 8: So it's it's one of the things that I've said, it's crazy on how popular the NFL is when the most popular team hasn't been great for thirty years?

00:23:08
Speaker 3: Is that crazy?

00:23:09
Speaker 1: You know?

00:23:10
Speaker 8: But you're right, it would be even better if it was the Cowboys were better. As crazy as that sounds.

00:23:15
Speaker 1: Thank you, dB. Now do we want to play a game?

00:23:18
Speaker 3: Update?

Houston has now lost their last eight Texans GM Nick Cassario said that picking up the fifth year option on the contract of quarterbacks c J. Stroud was a quote no brainer, end quote, and speaking with reporters today, the Giants signed backup quarterback Brandon Allen to a deal, and a report from CBS Sports says most NFL teams were aware of the twenty twenty four car accident involving Miami Hurricanes defensive end Ruben Bain Junior that left one person dead. ESPN reports Lakers guard Luka Doncic will return to the team on Friday from Spain as he receives treatment for his hamstring strain. WNBA Draft is tonight Steph Curry. The Warriors are the most popular jersey in the NBA according to sales this past season, while the Knicks sold the most merchandise of any team. Peliquins will conduct a coaching search with interim head coach James Barrego as a candidate for the full time position. That's according to NBA insider Mark Stein. Former Providence head coach Kim English will join Michael Malone staff at North Carolina and New York Rangers goalie Jonathan Quick announced he's retiring after nineteen seasons. 00:31:27
Speaker 2: Worst team in baseball right now, just to show that, we talked about the parody of major League Baseball in house.

00:31:32
Speaker 1: Speaking of Poppies, Red Sox, they're what they're six and nine six and nine. But the Mets are seven and nine.

00:31:36
Speaker 2: The worst team in baseball right now if I'm correct, isn't it the Giants at six and ten and the Rocky six and ten?

00:31:41
Speaker 1: So, by the way, it's hilarious. Did you see that really banthrow?

00:31:45
Speaker 3: Rome?

00:31:45
Speaker 2: Now, I'm not a Roman Anthony hater, right, I think he's a big time player for the Red People love him and his sister, Yeah, like super stud bright future. But he made like the weakest throw to the plate, and now they call him Roman noodle arm and Athony who says that you everybody, everybody, even Poppy was talking about his noodlelarm off the air, and there's all these photoshops.

00:32:07
Speaker 1: Of Roman Anthony with a noodle alarm.

00:32:11
Speaker 2: Saying it's all over. There was one one throw I saw. He was playing left field, and it looks like the play at the play, it looks like the ball had to have slipped out of his hands because it was like a six bouncer to the plate. And I'm like, yo that he certainly does not have a cannon in left field. But it had to be alarm.

00:32:27
Speaker 3: It had to be.

00:32:27
Speaker 2: There's no way a professional young athlete like Roman Anthony has a noodle arm like that.

00:32:33
Speaker 1: How you saying noodle alarm, noodle arm, noodle alarm?

00:32:36

00:36:43
Speaker 1: Today.

00:36:44
Speaker 2: I had one dumb question I was scrolling through you know, social media feeds, seeing if there's any hot story we're missing today. Guess listen, it's a controversial tonight WNBA draft.

00:36:55
Speaker 1: Our teammate's going to be dating, right.

00:36:58
Speaker 2: I think that's a really cool That story should not be going under the radar because to my knowledge, I know there have been a lot of gay players and gay athletes and sports, but we haven't heard about these love triangles and and and loving situations and complexities in professional sports before the way we're hearing about it in the w NBA. If you just joined us, the draft is tonight and the number one draft Azy fud May joined former teammate and current girlfriend Paige Becker's on the Dallas Wings. And we're saying, by the way, which is not a restaurant, it's rough team, more like the Dallas Sings to Dallas Shwings. We basically speculated, is that reason to pick her or maybe reason not to pick her, because that could be a disaster in the future if things don't pan out right for the team. And we never had to explore these situations before, like which you never wondered if Ray Knight was Kevin Mitchell, do not think that you you when you have a sport that has a Patrick and there's an abundance of lesbians in the w n b A, this is going to happen. It's a different layer that we haven't had to deal with, at least openly. That's why I think it's really interesting. So that that goes down tonight. Will teammates be lovers? That's that's the story. NBA playing games start this week, So for the most part, it's sort of a week of.

00:38:27
Speaker 1: Like not not not a lot going on.

00:38:29
Speaker 2: Baseball's two weeks in where you know, March Madness and the Masters are behind us.

00:38:33
Speaker 5: I'm in basketball withdrawal in that sense, like once all those tournaments wrapped up, I'm like, man, so.

00:38:37
Speaker 2: You know those weeks where you got to be honest with yourselves. Our show is going to be more fun and and you know off sports, you know, more off sports stuff. But I just saw a clip. It was from like a week ago, But would you really want to see this? Did you see that Hunter Biden said that he wants to get Eric or Donald Junior in an octagon? Do you think I think that's a pay.

00:39:00
Speaker 1: Per view everyone would watch?

00:39:02
Speaker 2: Would you watch Hunter Biden against one of the Trump sons in a ring. We live in the world of I can't believe this has happened. You were talking about what we watched. We watched Tyson fury this weekend. We saw that the hockey album Mayweather fight was called off. We keep talking about, is this like in the Congo Mike Tyson fighting happened?

00:39:22
Speaker 3: Like we live in a world of Jake Paul spectacles.

00:39:25
Speaker 2: I think we would pay or be intrigued to watch any controversial, random fight like this. I think there's a market for it where Yeah, set it up, make it happens. Sean Merrimans, who runs a fight league, sign them up.

00:39:39
Speaker 5: How about a that's one of the prelimbs for the for Trump's birthday, the UFC fight. It's it's Hunter Biden versus Eric Donald Junior. Absolutely, there's a market for that.

00:39:49
Speaker 3: Let let's go.

00:39:50
Speaker 1: It'll be wild. But but I saw that. Let me ask you prove.

00:39:54
Speaker 2: I'll prove to you why UFC three twenty seven was this weekend. Yeah, right, And I want to show you some of the names. Do you know these names?

00:40:03
Speaker 3: Dude?

00:40:04
Speaker 1: Like if I said Oldberg was the winner this weekend?

00:40:09
Speaker 2: Carlos Oldberg. Yeah, I'm not trying to expose myself as well. It doesn't know a lot. But UFC right now is going through a pattern. You Jaska, you know, UFC is going through a moment right now where they're looking for their next I'm not saying there, I'm not saying they're not fighters. I'm saying these are not household names.

00:40:25
Speaker 1: So if I were to tell you that, yeah, Hunter Biden's gonna fight one of Trump's kids, You'd be like, oh, yeah, you would. You'd be more likely to watch.

00:40:32
Speaker 2: The casual fan would be more likely to watch that than any random.

00:40:37
Speaker 5: Us with Zuckerberg who is at Zuckerberg and never came to be.

00:40:42
Speaker 3: But we were all talking about that.

00:40:43
Speaker 2: But you know, it's uh in the octagon much like boxing in all sports, right, you go through your ups and downs.

00:40:49
Speaker 1: Of divisions and high profile names.

00:40:51
Speaker 2: But more zach Kanov lost to Paulo Costa over the weekend. But again, you you you go through times where they're stars, Ronda Rousey, Connor McGregor's, John Bones Jones, Henry Suhudo, there's guys that are women that take over division and you're like, oh, I'm really intrigued.

00:41:08
Speaker 1: I want to see when's their next fight and who are they found?

00:41:11
Speaker 2: Tither and it's not UFC, but they're going to that Gina Carano Rowsey well, because there's more intrigue in something like that. Two legends fighting ladies versus ho Kid over the weekend, and that's no knock on UFC again, props. UFC three twenty seven was five great fights over the weekend. From what I heard, I saw only the headlining fight, and I watched that Fury fight over the weekend. Sports are cyclical, and it happens in every sport where you go through a little time period where it's like, yeah, the names aren't buzzed, and how about baseball for a good decade, and now baseball's back. It's happening with the NBA a little bit, right, and it's happening with the world of UFC. You can't tell me that the big names are as big as they were over the last ten years or so. It's just not the case. It's the you're seeing the tail end of a lot of big names. So your thoughts on that sounds silly, but I think people would tune in to watch it now tomorrow again, Tuesday will be here Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. We're in for Dan Patrick, so'll make note of that. Mental note of that. We're gonna have a Tuesday edition of Last One Standing. That's a heated, heated, high intense game for me. It's always tough because this process of elimination. You may have an answer, but someone steals your answer and we give away prizes. So join us for a Tuesday edition of that and more Coveno and Rich Fun here on Fox Sports Radio. I'm gonna go eat some Dodger dogs in the rain and a Hello Kitty the Hoodie. We'll see you guys tomorrow.

00:42:30
Speaker 3: Go Dodgers, Go Mets.

00:42:32
Speaker 9: We'll see then a Rima there you baby, We'll see you in the promise. Good buy, Thanks Big Poppy Fun, Love you, Papa,
