Well, would you look at that all of our merches on sale for Black
Friday twenty percent off. Why don't you go over the link of the description
and get something, because it's it's not going to be there. It's not
going to be there for that long. Oh Bob, Happy thanksgiv Happy Thanksgiving.
Today is all about what we're thankful for. Oh my god, I'm
thankful for so many things. I'm thankful for being here with all of my
friends. Oh my wow, you're being nice on the podcast where I quit
the podcast? Wait what they don't know? But it's the title of the
episode, Bob's quitting. Bye see ya, it's my graduation episode. Let's
call it that. You want to explain yourself. Nope, it's Friendsgiving.
By the way, happy merry time that we're all having in my house.
Yep. Yeah, you're breaking up the band once Scoot. Once Scoot left,
Bob message me, I'm out. I can't without him. You have
to explain yourself. I was assuming that there would be a title screen right
there. I'm honestly surprised nobody. You didn't tell anybody. Anybody who would
I tell? I don't know anybody. He's been here for like two days.
I so you told me only a couple of days ago, and not
to make you feel bad, but I was pretty devastated. I know you
were very upset, and uh, Scoop was here and I was really sad,
and he asked me why, and I told him so to be clear,
finishing out the year and then twenty twenty four, I'm not doing this
podcat yes anymore, but you're a free to keep going. But I don't
know. We'll talk about that later. Explain yourself first, Okay, as
best you can. I want to focus on other things in the podcast.
Uh, it's it's we we try to organize it so it's as little work
as possible, but it's still you know, uh, you know, it's
it's a it's a decent focus on on my life and when we do stuff,
there's all. We always got to work it around the podcast, and
I think it'd be a lot easier to not do that. So, well,
yeah, it would be easier to not do something exactly. We've done
it for a long time. I think it's I think it's time. Okay,
I have different feelings. I respect what Bub just said, and Bub
in general, I've enjoyed my time. In the last few days, I've
tried to uh talk Bub out of it twice without pushing too hard because it's
his choice ultimately, and I pushed him really hot initially to even do the
podcast, and we got into a couple of fights about it because I was
really pushy, and I definitely didn't want to overstep that boundary in our friendship,
especially now because I consider you one of my best friends. I think
it'll be better to not have to do this part. Yeah, I know
you. I know this wasn't your favorite thing, and I know that you
want to focus on your other things that are your favorite things. And without
making and no one be upset with Bob. I'm happy I even got,
let's start some talk, the chance to do this with him, but this
was one of my favorite things. So it is really hard. Also,
if I can say, without making you look worse, let's let's just keep
piling it on, you know, it's it is to me a little insane
or crazy that we built a successful podcast, which is so hot to do.
I mean, this whole time we've had a podcast, we've been in
the top Apple charts, as I like to keep saying, and we did
it at a time when Nintendo were at their worst, and next year we're
going into switch to which is what a time for the Nontendo podcast to strike.
It'd be a great time for you to keep going. I've have faith
in you, and the podcast isn't going to exist anymore. I want to
apologize on Bob's behalf for the patreons, who I feel like got a fantastic
value over the last year or so. But it's got to be particularly devastating
for them too. I think we're giving way more than enough time because we're
stopping at the end of the year, stop your patreons. Yeah, well,
we're gonna freeze the Patreon. I'm not gonna outright delete it. I'm
gonna freeze it so that no payments can be but we got because we're gonna
stop your payments now. Yeah, I mean we're going to keep doing bonus
episodes either way. Bob is leaving. So if that's enough for you to
want to pull the ripcord on the Patreon, go ahead. I don't know
what I'm going to do. I've been thinking about it a lot. There's
a couple things I could do. I am ninety five percent sure this is
just the end of the podcast. Though I don't think Nontendo exists without Bob.
You and I will admit when we started this podcast, because I was
pushing so much for it, it felt like I was making a podcast and
you were coming on board. And I still think it's more than half your
thing, but it became our thing very quickly. And I even learned on
this podcast how to let go of my own ego and allow someone else to
be a part of something I'm creating, because I felt in the beginning I
really dominated. Yeah. In upstairs, we were talking about it, and
you asked me if in different words, you asked if I regretted doing it
or something, and I said no, because it's it's experiences, and you
know, we learned from these sort of things. And that's part of it,
is that we learned to work together because we were not good at working
together before and leading up to the podcast. Yeah, I mean we were
friends. We were just kind of getting to know each other. We were
friends, but trying to work together at the beginning was like pulling teeth.
Yeah, because we didn't understand each other at all. We we bat it
had multiple times on multiple projects. We did even before the podcast. Haven't
really, but it had not at all in the past year, not at
all. I really we did a lot before that. I know, I
really came to appreciate you and understand you. And No, I agree.
It was the same thing for me. I had to learn to deal with
you two. But no, I also had to put some things aside,
let some things go to get things to work good. You know you're still
here. I'm not going where. I'm not dying. We're just not doing
podcasts. This is this is like watching Mommy and Daddy right now. These
poor guys. Though we were gonna have a nice fun we're doing Thanksgiving episode.
We're thankful. Hey, guys, welcome to the Thanksgiving episode. We're
breaking up. I'm thankful for I'm thankful for the eighty five ish episodes we
did. Yeah, we did. We did a lot. You also brought
up because I'm using the excuse that I want to focus on other things,
and that's what that's how I feel. But uh, upstairs, you brought
up like I do a lot of other things and like this is the one
that has to be cut out. It's because it's a lot less stressful for
me to do things by myself, you know. Yeah, like you brought
up the twitch streams, and like I could also just stop them in the
twitch streams. But that's so easy because I don't have to coordinate with anybody.
It's just me. Uh, you know, I expel a lot of
energy when I'm around other people, so it's a lot easier for me to
know I totally understand myself. For me, it was very baffling, just
because the podcast is really successful pays a decent chunk of our bills thanks to
the patreons and also the sponsors. We started getting wei to take money out.
When we decided to take money out, we're gonna have to clean out
the PayPal, I guess. And we were just creating something really cool.
And if if I personally was to look at places where I would cut time,
I wouldn't start with this just because of how it's working. I would
at least go through the first year of the switch two. But I've known
you, and I've known you since the start, and I am honestly shocked
we even got this far. And even though there've been multiple times throughout the
podcast rain where you were coming up with really cool ideas that made me think,
wow, he's like into this podcast. You were also every now and
then reminding me this isn't forever, Like you mentioned that you wanted to do
some of those projects months and months and months ago, and that eventually that
might be the reason why you stopped the podcast. So it was a little
bit of a shock, but it was also like, Okay, yeah,
I figured you wouldn't be that surprised. Yeah, honestly, I'd much rather
pull the rip cord out in an amicable way than when we started the podcast.
I thought, for short, there was going to be some insane blowout
and we would one of us would just walk off. I never thought it'd
get I thought, sure it would get Were you ever ready to walk off?
No? Yeah, I didn't think so. It never got there,
and it's still not there. So that's why I think this is the best
way to this is I think this is the best case scenario. Honestly,
I will say I've said a lot of things, but in your favor,
this podcast is a herculean effort, especially now that you've moved out back to
Long Island. A lot. I it's just a podcast, like a lot
of people like, it takes you know almost it takes a whole Thursday every
Thursday. It's I mean easy to look at it and be like, you
guys talk for an hour and then you're done. But it's so much a
lot more than that. And then also all of the time around that,
however long we're together, Like when you come to Brooklyn, Yeah, it's
like eight hours. Yeah, we have to drive there, both of us
take a long time to drive there. The whole it's around that is deleted.
It's a whole day a week. I get home, I'm exhausted,
immediately go to sleep and sleep for fourteen hours. And like I've been trying
to yeah you do. I've been trying to welcome a video myself this week,
and it's late because of the podcast. Yeah, because I keep having
to do podcast related things. So it is I think in the middle of
the week, it's it's enjoyable. It's enjoyable. Sometimes sometimes you come into
the city and we're both miserable because we're sat sat through two hours of traffic.
Yes, you know, last time was good though there's no traffic.
Hey, I would I would never change it. I will say I've had
the pleasure of knowing you guys for a while. Now. I've known Bob
a little bit longer. I met him, met like some E three when
I got dogs, Yeah, the one you got docs that I didn't industry
patch Let's go. And I remember, uh when I first met what a
too Many Games? Uh? You you you were always like, Man,
I like Wood, but like sometimes it just makes me like lose my hair
and uh. Then I met Wood and I was like, no, what's
awesome? What's great? Immediately clicked with Wood. I I really did.
Just I feel like our personalities are very similar and a lot of the things
that like you misconscrewed. I would always be like, I do the same
thing that Wood does, but you don't miss and screw me like a perfect
I'm like, what what are what are you talking? Give his application for
co host nothing, No, not suggested it already. I didn't. Man,
you didn't like you did in a way. I was like, I
don't know who I do it with. Then you were like, well,
I mean I would, but I know you wouldn't want that, which is
fine. It's fine to suggest that you've been at the show. Yeah,
I wasn't trying to like shoehorn my way and basically my whole story is basically
just saying, like you, I think Bob, Bob and you are right,
like both would and Bob are right. I don't know what I'm saying
Grammars escaping me, but like you guys did learn how to work together with
theirs with each other, because like you would come back with stories to me,
what about like Bob, like frustrating you sometimes Bob would do the same.
But you guys this past year really have like shown how well you guys
can collapse together. And it's been really wonderful to see your friendship growth like
that and the podcast grow like that. So kudos to both of you for
creating a great podcast that was very nice. Nice. Yeah, I've said
it a lot on the podcast and also on streams and just in general.
But being friends with you, spending time with you, you've been a good
influence on me, and you've told me how to be a better online personality
and create it and not take things to hut so much? How How could
I have possibly done that? You all you have just had been doing this
for just as long as me, and you have a much bigger audience.
Do you not feel like I have changed even slightly over the last year or
so of knowing you, and I feel like you are you take things to
heartless, like when people say things that's obviously like because I mean, being
creators, we deal with a lot of shit from other people, and I
feel like you've you let a lot of that go more than you would have
before. And I also feel like, even though I don't know if you
know, or if I'm looking too far into it, or if you'd admit
it, but I think in some ways you've you've taken a little bit of
me too, and definitely yourself up more than you had before. Definitely in
what way though, I've definitely taken from you because we've worked together so much.
Yeah, but we talk like each other a lot, you think,
so, yeah, I do, But that's not the thing. I just,
uh, I've noticed that we do this thing a lot together. But
the hands with the hands, I think we've adopted some mannerisms, play video
games every single night to go so like that. It's not just the podcast,
it's actually have a friendship outside of it that stops I'm going to be
mad. The thing I would say for an example of how you've changed is
I don't think you would have ever put up with someone like me for this
long until I made you put up with me for this long. That's why
it was good. That's why it was good for me. Yeah, I
think it was good for you, and and it was a it's a successful
thing that ended up being good for everybody. People like it. It's like
Seinfeld, we're going out on top. No one could ever say we fell
off. That's what I want. But if I keep going and it's bad,
that's when I look bad and you get out scott free. Yes,
but no, I think again, it's mostly your thing. I think it's
it's not. You're just saying that to make the transition easier. If I
decide to do something, whether or not it started, different thing. If
you decide to keep going without me, it doesn't matter matter, It doesn't
matter how it started. But Non Tendo as a brand, as a podcast,
as a duo were so molded by birth both of our personalities, and
we brought such equal shares to the podcast every week. It never felt like
it was my show or your show. It always felt like our show every
episode. Yeah, I don't think you should sell yourself short like that,
Bobby, You definitely put in like a good fifty percent of this podcast.
In what I saw initially, there were a lot of people that came from
a lot of my pushes. You know, I had a larger audience,
So I feel like initially there was a larger push from me, but very
quickly it became split with a lot of people were there for both of us.
A lot of people were there for you, A lot of people were
there for me, and then even and I think the audience will agree.
Over the last few months, Bob really became the people champ. I think
Bob became the favorite. I think I was capping a lot of crap in
a lot of episodes, but in general, I think your personality resonated people
with people more than mine. I've noticed this a lot with content. Uh
When you do content with another person, the person who has the smaller following
usually has a vocal uh like fan base, like in the chat like they
end up rallying behind the smaller guy. Yeah. And I'm also a lot
to deal with sometimes, and that and there's also and you're just fun.
You're never not hard to deal with. That's absolutely not true. You should
talk to animal even when you're an ass, which is a lot of the
time, it's a fun ass, that's true, it's an ass you like
to stare at me. Yeah. Well, yeah, we're still going to
work together and stuff. It just won't be you know, on a basis.
I mean, and again, we played video games every single night.
That will still happen. We're gonna just stop. My two things I want
from you though moving forward, I have homework, I'm trying to not I'm
trying to leave. I want to still hang out. Yes, so all
the is what's good about that we can hang out without having to do the
goddamn part. I know. But a lot of the time when we're together
and hanging out, it's because we have the goddamn podcast. True, m
So I want it doesn't have to be equal amount because it's not going to
be every week, but I want to see you and we have to collab
on our channel at least a few times over. Yeah, but like do
we have to though? Yes? Yes, I feel like your dynamic,
your dynamic is great together. Yeah. So that's like I think that's why
the podcast to me was so successful. It's always been really cool because our
dynamic works really well. But also we are similar as much as we are
different. We're very similar. We look the same, like all of the
same stuff. It's like ying and ying. But also, you know,
we've made a couple of references to my channel being bigger. Your channel is
not small. You're approaching a million subs and fucking take it forever. Mine's
slowed to a dead crawl the last year or two as well, And even
though you do a lot of stuff on YouTube, you're still seen as a
Nintendo guy. I would still say, you know, it's been weird the
last year. It's been. It's been. I think you're breaking out of
it and you're changing it and you're becoming a tech guy, which is another
reason why this feels like a departure, because like I mean, I still
love Nintendo and you're still the Mario guy you always going to be. But
a point you want to finish in. Yeah, I have one point and
that's just the two top in my opinion Nintendo YouTubers as far as personality is
on the well, Scott isn't Scott, Okay, I'm not kind of Scott's
next level, right, And then I would say John, Yeah, but
who wants to do a podcast with him, and then I mean, of
kidding, I kidding, of kidding. I love you, I mean yeah,
and I mean, like always a puppet. What's going to happen there?
Is you come to set every very difficult? Is he available? Can
we get him? Know? This combination was the only combination. The fact
that we could do it in person was wild. There were so many elements
that made this chemistry so cool and what it is. There is no replacing
you unless your brother is free. That's a pretty good replacement. I still
have a wolf. That'd be pretty good. Actually that was my first thought,
to be honest, that'd be really difficult. Yeah, I know,
it would barely come to my house. But it's still not even the same
dynamic. He's too nice, he's too nice, he's too easy to get
along with. I know, it sucks, It sucks. What was your
point? What were you going to say? Do you remember? I was
gonna say, people who know me and who like watch my twits, streams
and stuff see me as a Marrio guy, but YouTube doesn't because I don't
really do a lot of Mario. That's true, especially lately. I definitely
see you as like the tech guy. Yeah, for sure, like any
time there's like a new thing coming out, I'm like, when's Bob's video?
So like when I used to go to conventions and stuff, people would
and this happens to you all the time. People come, Oh, I
bought a Switch because of you and stuff. The last year or two,
people have been coming out to me, Oh, I bought a me U
Mini because that's me. I bought an Ambernik D because of you. Yeah.
So yeah, it feels like a It feels like I'm moving away from
that. I'm I'm not now like hanging. I'm like talking to all the
like fucking mockas brownleech guys now, like all the like emulation YouTubers are like
in a little The emulation YouTube community feels like how the Switch community was in
twenty seventeen, twenty eighteen. It's very strange community. Now, I told
you, I view you as your social media presence to me, you're the
coffee guy. There you go. He's a lot of guys. I'm too
many guys. My dad, you're the guy who put tenant on a game
Boy to your dad. My dad watched that video. He sent it to
me. It's awesome, and it's like, isn't this crazy. I'm like,
you know what, I'm friends with that guy. He's like, wait,
who my dad? You went to dinner with him? So bub's announcing
he's done with Non Tender and Nintendo. Yeah right, get out of here.
Anyway, I guess for our Time Together podcast before Time Together, I
guess that's it. What a Thanksgiving episode. Everybody's gotta gotta cry now,
anyone probably not a real fan of the podcast. If anyone in the comments
have any suggestions from where the podcast could go from here, let me know.
But honestly, just shutting it down is a valid option, and I
think the best option. So I'll I guess I will announce what's happening with
the podcast officially when I'm ready. But uh, don't get your hopes.
You you don't have another podcast. This is your this is your one guy,
This my one guy. Yeah, you know, it's a shame to
let it go. I I care so much about it, but I really
only see one option of if it continues, and that's I solo it,
because I just I don't think there's replacing it something else. Then it's just
starting a new podcast. And I got to go through the algorithm all over
again. Yeah, you only get one top ten Apple iTunes charts podcast,
Bob, you don't get to you. You're right, you don't. My
other one's like fucking top one hundred and that it's crazy only you canceled that
one. Only Will had one point eight million YouTube subscribers. That is not
why the podcast does well. I mean it helps, definitely helps. Oh
it helps another podcast. We got a bunch of fans that came to the
podcast from our TikTok shorts. Yeah, those did really that found out channels
then through yeah, I know, to being honest, over the last few
months, it did become so much that we did start I don't want to
say half assing it, but a little bit. We waned. You know,
we stopped trying to get guests and organize all of that. We went
to Japan and uh, that took a lot out of us. That it
was pretty exhausting, you know. We waned on all of the side stuff
and the tiktoks. We were trying to get mugs made for like six months
and yeah, so neither of it. We did have something. Let's tell
that story. So you've been bothered me to do it, and you know
I always just put it off because I'm an asshole. But eventually I thought,
we thought of really because I want to do it really cool. I
want to get really cool mugs. So I ordered these samples for these mugs
that came in a little in a little like like gift set that came with
a cup warmer, so you plug it in and it and it warms the
cup for you, and it says non ten o when it's all red.
And it came with a silver spoon. It was awesome. And then I
got the sample for it and it was horrible. The base would turn black
when it got hot. And also the sample they sent you, the printing
was smug. It was sideways and smudged. It was like, this is
the sample to tell me that you're good at this, and you suck at
it. So we did get pretty far in making mugs and then they ruined
it. Yes, maybe maybe we should make farewell mugs. We went with
some good getting them we only got Yeah, that was another thing that kind
of took me off. God, two days ago when you said you're out
like I was helping I get them quicker. A week or two weeks ago,
you're literally I'm buying one hundred and forty mugs for the podcast. So
now we have one hundred and forty mugs for the podcast that's ending in five
weeks. I was assuming we were going to get like a couple hundred,
and then you said, why would you buy them one hundred? And I
was like, oh, we could sell this, why would you buy them
at all? Limited edition? Farewell? It was it was very cheap.
So one hundred and forty mugs, I think we could offload those. You
can, you can, you can get them. It's the farewell to a
mug. It's a farewell to get it because there's only a hundred. They're
like, uh, like Borisa's stile really nice. They're really really nice mugs.
Yeah, like cool ones we're making coffee in. They're not just a
crappy, like generic mug. Yeah, they're good. They're the ones that
I want for myself. You can collect or your tears in them when you
reminisce about the podcast. Yeah, it's the last piece of March and really
one of the only true We never sold out of the other stuff either.
Hurry yeah, please clean out us dog. Yeah, well, uh,
we should put a discount a little bit, a little bit a lot of
bit So what do you guys think will be a cool little flag in your
careers? I do think you'll look back. We've done that for a long
time. It's been almost two years. That was my ankle. It's been
really cool and it is a cool flag. Yeah, it could have been
something even better, but that's okay. It is what it is. So
it could have sine felt season ten true or been horrible. It could have
been horrible. The ending was not that good. No, it wasn't.
It's because Larry David left in the last two seasons. What ending of a
sitcom is ever good? Though I don't watch much TV, I watched TV
a lot, and sitcoms usually, I don't remember being upset by that seventies
No, I didn't. Yeah he left for like a host seventy. No,
that seventies show finale is good because they basically erased everything that happened in
last season. Yeah. But thet air, yeah I guess. Yeah,
but the whole season sucked. Yeah, So I I consider that I About
your Mother awful, very bad. That's the worst one of all time.
I agree you what, Yeah, I don't want to see but I love
TV, you know, what if we want to move on to some more
fun things about what we're thankful for. I'm thankful that video games are getting
some really cool TV shows right now. You got got Castlevania, Laser Hawk,
Blood Dragon Remix, which is the Ubisoft show. What is that?
It's so it's Farkar three did a spin off called three Blood Dragon. No,
but that's what it's based on, I think. But it it's like
based off of like all of Ubisoft game mixed together. So like there's an
Assassin's Creed Bullfrog, there's Beyond Good and evil characters. There's Sam Fisher from
Tom Clancy. I can't picture it in my head. Rayman's in it.
Rayman has like a Jimmy Fallon Night Show. It's crazy you. I love
it's cartoon. It's a cartoon. It's like an anime that sounds cool,
by the way, really sick. We have guests here today. Oh yeah
that we accosted with this from left. All right. We have Ham and
shed that's enough, Ham and Chedda fry bread, Ham and chadda, thank
you. We have Bingo Bungle from the YouTube channel Bingo Bungle YouTube dot comscuits.
We have Jordan Fringe from the YouTube channel Jordan Fringe. And that's it,
and that's all of them, and that's everybody. Yeah, and the
person who's been holding the microphone of this entire forty minutes so far is Scootish
doing a good job. I'm doing my best. I like to mess with
you. You know, I love you. I know, what do you
do? Am I over? I moved already left. He didn't even give
a resignation. You know who doesn't well, I think doesn't know yet him.
Wait when you did tell him? I think yesterday he texted me about
I think you told him that. I didn't tell him nothing. We were
going to do the podcast today. Yeah, he's not here. Yeah,
And then he texted me, I didn't know you do it. It was
like immediately after we decided we were doing the podcast on Saturday, he texted
me, I didn't know you were doing I was like, I just found
out we're doing podcast on Saturday. Also, I'm leaving by he I mean
he waited till like that moment to ask me about anything to do with this
weekend and then acted shocked when there were plans. So he had just made
the plan, So it wasn't like he was Yeah, that far out.
So we're doing it without a producer right now. I just travel and then
going back. So I'm like, I'm coming here Saturday regardless. Thank you.
Everyone came here. On Saturday. The new Scott Pilgrim TV show also
came out. It's really good. I heard people like it. Yeah,
like the man line to a Sonic line or something they did. They did.
That's for you. They did it for me. You love Sonic.
I didn't have any interest in watching that. Well, I had some,
but not much until I found out it's Michael Sarah and it is. It's
all. It's the entire movie cast. Oh my god, I'm the Culi
Colchin. What's his brother's name, Kieran Cocin. I didn't know. That's
awesome. Yeah, it's really cool. Now I can now I'll watch it.
That's cool. I don't know what I'm gonna watch. I gotta watch
all the Star Wars ship. There's too much Star Wars ship. I'm thankful,
but I don't care about that anymore. I didn't even finish and Or,
and I heard that was good. I'm done with Marvel. I'm done
with stuffles. I think, can't watch it. I think Logo Season two
is worth it. I will watch that. I lie. I will watch
that, but I will not watch the Marvels. It's okay. I liked
it reviewed terribly. Yeah, it's a Marvel movie. It was fine.
It wasn't a top tier showing. And the most exciting thing is the end
credit teaser. It's always the way, and then you watch I'm just gonna
have to have you tell me that, and then you watch the media that
comes from that, and it's not good, but in the end credits of
that, it'll be fire. Oh yeah, every time, kind of a
bigger one. I don't know, man, I it's still it's the same
old when the Marvel movies had started and everything was like getting connected because we've
never seen anything like that, I know, But they can't do that again.
And we're getting like these end of like Saga wrap up Avengs movies.
Since the last Avengers movie, there's been a bunch of random movies, and
I know there's probably like hints and Easter eggs and little things, but it
hasn't felt like we're building towards anything for like three years now, and most
of the movies are bad. Yeah, I will say Guardians three. Though
Guardians three slapped that movie made me cry. That movie was ridiculously sad.
Did you ever watch it? It was the saddest movie I've ever seen it.
I know it got me a lot. It's gonna get He told me
that it's sad. I went. I watched it. I immediately messaged him
mad because he didn't stop me from watching it. You didn't tell me how
sad it was. It was very sad. I used to go to every
midnight launch. It was always awesome see everybody going nuts. You'll never experience
something like midnight launch end game when everybody shows the world ship. The world
was changed. Man, it's never going to be the same. I go
to Game Stop to pick up every video game I can, and I appreciate
it and cherish the moments when I'm driving to the store because I know,
in like ten years, I'm not gonna be able to do that anymore.
Yeah, it's going to be digital. I mean it's kind of silly too,
Like even like the Nintendo Store has like midnight releases now, and we
get we have the game, Like what are these people waiting online for like
a week? I don't know, Alex, They even now you can't just
go. You have to get a ticket, which is ye, you did,
silly, Zelda. I did, Zelda. He got me in because
he said I'm doing news and I don't think he filmed a single thingam the
whole thing? That was really cool, also not allowed. That was one
of my most viewed organic streams ever. I got up to h five hundred
people alone without raids, which was really cool and I wasn't even supposed to
be there wasn't even supposed to be. You rated me after and I got
up to seven hundred and that was even cooler. That's pretty good. That
was you know. It just made me like, yeah, I was like,
you know, maybe it was cool though I watched it was the game
one sitting. Yeah, that was that same day. Yeah you beat it
and oh yeah, yeah you're up. I invited him. I was like,
hey, do you want to come to this with me? And he
said no, I'm just gonna go live for a little bit and just then
go to bed early. I did not. I love the game too much.
I didn't want to put it down. I'm kind of thankful for the
banging year games we had. This year was a little insane it might be
my favorite year. Last year sucked, didn't it. No, Last year
was okay, the year before that sucks. That was the year that It
Takes two won the Game Awards, which we're like, this is what we
got. It's a great game, but it was the best one that year.
This year had a lot of insane games. Last year was Elder Ring
God Award, Like, we had some cool stuff. Last year, I
didn't play any of the Game of the Year nominees, didn't play single one.
This year I played a lot of them. Some played four of them.
Oh, okay, that's yeah, that's a lot for me. Yeah,
this year was amazing. I honestly think this is my favorite year in
gaming ever. Like I've said this already, but getting a sequel to Alan
Wake two and it actually slapped one of my favorite games, Spider Man,
also one of my favorite childhood games. To get again. Okay, Bluie,
the game nineteen ninety eight was pretty cool. You got Pokemon and I
didn't even mention Tears of the Kingdom. Sorry. King was good and that's
not even your game with you. We talked about, well, it is
my favorite game of the year, and I got Boulders Gate, which came
out of nowhere and is now one of my favorite games ever. We still
have to find You're making me want to dabble and boulders Gate, but that's
not a doubt. You have so much free time next year. You got
to give people the mic when I talk. I have a great idea,
Bob. Here's here's my great idea. You're ready. Every Thursday one pm
we played boulders Gate for two hours. Yes, so much. Every day
I played Fortnite with Jordan Fringe. That was worth it, That's true.
Though a grim misshaken for in full thank you. Somebody knows what else?
So was there anything that came out that wasn't a Game of the Year?
Gravity Circuit starting Pizza, Pizza Towel, Pizza Tower. You know it's awesome,
It's Warrior, It's Warrior, but I know I know what it is.
The real game of the year, Sweet, a game that should have
been nominated the free online version. I played version. I played the versions,
but the physics are so bad. Yeah. My My biggest disappointment this
year was the fact that I waited two three years for Party Animals to come
out, and then it was just like boring after, like, you need
to explain to me why people aren't mad that that's a rip off Gang Beast
because it uh like it's just Gang Beast. I don't have a good answer.
It's different. It looks different, that's all. I don't know.
I liked it. I think it plays it just plays. It plays different.
I think. I don't know, Like I like Gang Beasts, but
I liked Party Animals a lot more. But I liked it when I played
the beta in like twenty nineteen or twenty twenty. Okay, So originally Party
Animals had a lot of promises, like a single player campaign. You can
even kind of see in the tutorial that, like it was a little bit
supposed to be like more single player, more obstacle course, and that was
what was going to differentiate it from Gang Beasts. Ultimately, the game launched
online only with a battle pass and a in game store where you have to
buy credits, and that's where it again, I want it to be.
Yeah, when it launched, I think everyone was review bombing it because it
had to be played online and that was it. When it was promised there
was going to be offline modes and like screen multiplayer and a single player campaign
if it were if it had a single player like Scooter saying, it just
would have been rip off Human Fall flat. So yeah, same thing.
Really, it makes no difference. Okay, So I guess just people just
don't want people don't like it. I didn't know. I mean, I
like it, but it's but like, like I waited a long time for
something that isn't it. Yeah, that's the category. We talked about story
last week. But that's the category I think is oh, like what they're
wearing. Any better multiplayer games this year, Street Fighter six is the one
that should win. I I like Party Animals a lot. I do think
it's probably my best multiplayer game of the year because it's the one that I
put in the most hours. And yeah, I think this game has different
physics than Gangbaest And go to c S two it's not up for game well
that and also uh it's c SCO has been out and like it's updated,
but it's if over watched. Two can be up for things. Why can't
two heard that the ranking system sucks, But that's what I've heard. I
mean, the game is not great. Yes, two gotta give it to
you. They completely the entire ranking system. That's what. There's an interloping
issue. So when you shoot at the ground, you get a head shot.
It's bad. Interloping issue. Interpolating, interpolating, He's got it.
They don't understand what arloping is. I do? Can you explain? No?
No, no, I mean that's fine. I know, but they
won't. Yeah, they don't need to know. Spike and Ship, Yeah
of course. Anyway, how you doing? I made you watch five hours
of wrestling tonight. What did you think of it? It was ad w
Yeah, it wasn't cool until people started bleeding. Hannah was disgusted. Yeah,
yeah, she was like, what's happened? She was equally enthralled and
disgusted. She was like, it was like a train wreck. She couldn't
say, so, this isn't real, This isn't real, Like they're really
bleeding. It is funny because you and Hannah instantly fell asleep while wrestling was
on. Yeah, I was, which it's fair. Honestly. We watched
full Gear and the first half was pretty boring. It just was normal matches,
nothing too flashy. But then Swerve and Hangman had a match and it
was probably the glorioust bloodiest matches I've ever seen. And Hannah went from having
no interest and like being in the kitchen to standing up next to the couch
asking questions and then she watched the rest of the show after that too.
Was dingle the clown there, whoever you're talking to the clown there. The
grossest moment that I think you might have missed. I think had I told
you about it is Swerve was just pouring blood and he was like bent over
the mat and it was just like dripping down and Hangman got underneath and grabbed
his hair and just started drinking the blood. She's like, he's drinking it.
It was nuts, dude, I've never seen it like that before.
Yeah, the whole match was pretty bad. It was. That's the thing,
is like, I thought that too. Yeah. Sometimes Yeah, I
don't know if they like cheesed it so that he's drinking like fake blood,
but there's gotta be real blood mixing. No, that's that's real blood he
was drinking. Really, I didn't see it, so I don't know,
but I saw the rest of it, and it was there was a lot
of real blood for sure. He was drinking real blood. Don't try drinking
blood even for show. I mean unless you're like a vampire or like into
it, like kinky. Yeah. Yeah, he was also like staple in
himself, but like, well hangman was stapling him a bunch and he was
like getting hurt by it. And then he was like, you know what,
I just doesn't stay playing himself, and it was like he's stabled himself.
I was like, I knew a guy in high school was doing cool
moves and like slapping each other. Why oh that was cool moves. And
there was a lot of slapping tonight. There was a move. There was
a the sting match. There was a it was a it was a no
no DQ match. The Sting match had a guy doing a lot of cool
things. Yeah, you missed a lot of the cool flips. The first
guy that went in there, when he jumped off the ropes and stuff,
he did like a flip. He did like a flip off the road and
then he like fell and hit the corner and that was I think you were
making coffee through the whole, like eight man ladder match, which had a
lot of like flips and ladder stuff. True coffee. We wouldn't be here
without it. I like your espresso machine, thank you. Oh yeah,
coffee. It's forgot about that. If you want to keep up with Bob
after the podcast, follow his coffee Instagra Wolf Coffee it's daily. You you
said, what's the goal for that? The goal to me? Yeah,
you said something like what's the goal, and I was like, there's no
goal. I just take a picture of my coffee every time I have a
coffee, and I just keep it. I just don't put it anywhere,
which I get mad at you for not at least sending it to me.
So I always appreciate it. I just makes me feel like you're thinking about
me, decided to put it somewhere. That's it. You send me pictures
of like your dinner when you're like out, and I think you're sending it
to me to be like, look i'm out. No I do that,
but also I have no one else to talk to. I like talking to
you. I appreciate it you. Also, I hope if I keep sending
you things, you'll eventually send me things. Sometimes I have a picture of
my food in case you send me your food, so I have to.
I'm so sweet. You should just send it though, Okay, I haven't
been able to send a lot of food lately because I've been on my diet.
Now you have an iPhone. We can just text pictures now, I
know, and we can edg drop one way together. Mmm, you want
to air drop later? Okay? My bedrooms? Did you figure it?
I think? Also, the last time we went out to photos of me
me? Yeah, I do. An embarrassing photo of Jackson King. There
can't be an embarrassing photo of you. You're too sweet. Wait wait what
you were sleeping on the couch with both hands in your pants? Yeah,
you fell asleep in my house with your hands in your pants. I have
to say, when I'm alone, I'm sleeping with my hands in my pants.
It's you know what I do when I'm sick. Every time, when
I'm really sick, it is so weirdly comforting to stick my hands in my
pants and just cut the balls. I was not okay, I was not
covering my balls. I don't know why that is, Like if I'm in
pain, like my stomach hurts, or like I have the flu or anything
that for some reason just feels so comfortable and it just helps. It helps
me feel better. I know it's kind of gross and weird, but it
does. I caught myself doing that. When I had an office job,
I was just in this mode and I just went in and I'm off like
thirty people and I'm like, I think this. I don't know if this
was you as well, But I grew up. Mean, I had a
two brothers and when we were all younger, weirdly, like when you get
your hand no no, no no, when you get in trouble or you
don't feel well for some reason, you always just like grab your bowls.
I don't know when you're when you're young and you just get sad. Like
you ever seen the ki'd do that where they like do this thing when they're
sad. No, if it's like a comfort thing. I'm just with Jackson
where and it's comfortable like it just that. But I'm trying to find I'm
trying to find the psychology to why I think there's like it's warm. Are
we going to die at one a m? Every night all my life?
Okay, all right, I was horrifying, like a haunted thing. It's
an automated thing. Everybody, I'm usually in bed bind Also it's one am.
Everybody, Yeah, we're we're doing this so we can all go to
bed sad that the Dondo body as this ending. I'm gonna have dreams about
it. It's just a non pod. Yeah, we're gonna play val Are
we really gonna play Valerie? No? I mean I might. I'll do
a round vener is walking over them. I did. I brought a laptop
and I brought my Lenovo Legion Go just so we can play some games.
And I'm down. I will play games. I probably played a little Call
of Duty. Actually I didn't play any You played golf, and then I
tried to get the other laptop, so that's why I needed to download all
this shit. I was really surprised how well it ran. It ran really
good. Yeah, I'm actually surprised. Like it's comparable to like, uh,
I would say, like a twenty sixty or thirty sixty. Wow.
Yeah, yeah, it's a fourteen forty P. Yeah, it's sixteen hundred
P one hundred to forty four herds. It's crazy. Can you dock that
thing? Yes? And the it's it's not USB C, it's USB four,
so you can put an EGPU you could straight. That's why I wanted
to borrow your thirty what ninety alright, I mean yeah, we'll give it
to you. I don't have any apparently, the EGPU doc is like five
hundred dollars, but you can dock it and use it like a desktop with
an EGT you that's right, same, just I mean, that's like a
really decent budget than PC if you really wanted it to be. I know
someone who uses the Asus ally liked that as their main computer. The ally
is like, what like several thousand dollars. It's something fife, I think,
Yeah, okay, it's a DOCTS specifically for the it's like two times
the amount of the device itself. Yeah, so yeah, then the the
benefit to that is that you have one device that has all of your shit
on it all the time that like I have my MacBook for that, Like
I can dock it for that nomad who comes home every once in a while
and wants a better performance when he comes home. So I liked having my
MacBook set up. I had like, you know, like a desk set
up like this with a little dock in my apartment, and then at the
studio, I had the same setup and I just plug the same computer and
I did that for I did that in college all throughout college close clamshell mode
on my MacBook Pro. It's awesome having one computer that you can bounce back
and forth. What are we thankful for? It's Thanksgiving kind of What are
we eating tomorrow? You made meat bulls and RIGATONI? What did you bring,
Bingle, let's go. I know you wanted to. I brought whatever
dessert I can find at the supermarket tomorrow morning. Well, you actually have
to go to the store tomorrow to grab some bits for good. Well,
I want to do a store. Well, don't bring pies because Scooty brought
the pies. He told me, don't make a pie. Everyone's bringing.
Everybody brought pie and then scoot This is before even though scoot was bringing pie
ordered to to the house. What is from Texas? Which I'm excited about?
My how did that happen? Okay? Wine? Wow, I'm gonna
own up. My mom did this immediately. My mom the minute she knew
where Wood lived exactly. It was like, I sent I'm going to send
bottles of wine and pie because you're always a terrible guest. Where's the wine?
Uh? She has not sent it yet. I can get it sent
tell it it. Feel free to send things to the house randomly as wants,
I will take it whatever. That's her favorite pie brand. I forget
what it's from, but it is from Texas, him in a really fancy
wooden box that says made in Texas, Texas. That's cool, you're from
Texas, kim is. So we have those two pies. Matt and Kayla
are also here, and they made us pumpkin pie and chocolate pie. And
then he is making his apparently trademark cheesecake that is supposed to be to die
for trademark cheesecake. A while he tweeted about it. It looked good,
but he said, I make a cheesecake, and Erica's demanding that I make
it. Also, Erica is not coming, so, oh my god,
oh my god. I don't know how much everybody here likes pumpkin pie,
but I could eat that whole pie. So I don't like pie. We
have a lot of I think one of yours might be Apple Apple crisp.
Probably is have any of it. I can't have sugar anymore. This is
my cheat apparently weekend, because we also got a Chinese food tonight, which
I wasn't gonna eat bad Chinese food. It was good. It was pretty
good there. Did you actually like it? Yeah, no, it was.
The pork buns were very good. There's a pork one place that opened
up by my house. God bless, and it's terrible. The place.
It's very bad. This the place that we ate tonight. When Kim and
I first moved Yeah, when we first moved here, we just looked on
the app and that was the first thing we saw and we ordered it and
we were like, we're gonna be okay here. It's been a comfort food
ever since. I always got it whenever I come here, and it's always
he's so happy, really good food. I'm actually surprised, Like when I
stood here for you know that that's almost two weeks. Which, by the
way, Dolla freaked out when she saw you today. She freaked out a
little of Jackson too. Yeah, she remembered Scooty, but she was really
happy to see. Like I know you were saying, the food here is
great, and I'm like, I gotta see for myself. Almost everywhere I
ordered from it was really good. The food here is legitimately really I don't
know if you ever tried the halal guy I did, he's so good.
It was. And then My favorite place is still Penny, which I took
you there. Their food is awesome, like their sandwiches almost rival. It's
not hall, guys, it's a it's a man in a cot. Yeah,
in front of the seven say something. Mm hmm. I grew up
in New Jersey and uh, it's all the same everywhere. Hell guys,
yeah, it is. Just keep handing me the mic from across the couch
for me to just be Can we talk more about you doing good? Because
you stop talking without the mic? Well, how else am I supposed to
get a work? Give me, give me, give me the give me
the mic. I'm I'm thankful for a few things, Okay, two things.
One is that we have some semblance of an idea of the fact that
g T A six is coming out. Okay, yes, that's very important
to me, and I'll probably play that NonStop in the same way that y'all
played Tears of the Kingdom? Would you would you pay one hundred and fifty
four? Well, well, you're meant to pay. You're meant to pay
by the hour for the games that you like. Okay, right, apparently
it's what they're saying. I would pay a lot. I probably won't pay
a lot of money for it. So I would payundred dollars to play granted
one, and I would, I don't know about one hundred and fifty.
That's one hundred and fifty my limit for that game. I would, but
I don't. I don't think it's I don't think it would ever cost him.
I mean, all we know is that it will definitely be at least
seventy dollars your wallet. I mean, yes, but I think it could.
I put a lot of money, one hundred dollars, and then the
editors can insert all the footage here of the leaked GTA stuff that we all
know and we all see all the time, because there's been leaks for GTA
six for I think that there was one. And I'm now realizing he's the
only one that's part of the Nintendo team that doesn't know. Surprise find out
now surprise Brandon, Hey, you lost it? No, I've already I
want to. I mean we haven't been giving him a lot of No,
we've been doing a lot of lives. But also now that he's freed up,
Brandon, I want to shift you over to working for me again,
so that'll be fun. Whoa whoa, whoa, what if I want him?
He's always been mine, although to be fair, if you wanted to
use him, we probably love that. I don't. I don't know what
I would do. Well, you're a lot of free time. That shou
had to figure it out, Brandon, how much do you like coffee?
What was the second thing? Oh? Yeah, my god, Well that
one's a bit more important. What am I gonna say? Yeah, I
got engaged. Oh my god. And Jordan was there when he actually took
the video of it happening, because we were in Vegas at twitch Con because
we met at twitch Con a year a year ago, and then we got
engaged this twitch conh my god. Yeah, it's a fast turnaround. Yeah,
but you know when you're when you're when you're thirty one, and you
know, I mean, hey, Kim and I we met and then three
days later took a mom out to dinner to tell her we were getting married.
So for real, Yeah, we didn't end up getting married for like
seven or eight months, but we know, but like, you got engaged
like then, and they're like, no, we we got engaged like too.
I think like two days before we got married. See what gets it?
Like I got it because I got a lot of like I don't.
I wouldn't say I got flack, but like definitely got some like people that
were just like you sure about that, you know? And I and I
was like yeah, and then there but I have like my friends are buying
large pretty cool and there. Look sometimes when you know, you just know
and you it was a year, yeah, Like I literally wasn't and not
that it like everyone everybody's different. Sometimes you know you know right away,
like Kim and I knew that the second I still remember the first time I
ever saw her. We decided to meet up at a flea market and she
I remember exactly where she parked and where I parked, and we started walking
towards each other and just seeing her from a distance, I knew I was
going to marry her. Like it was like an instant thing before we even
like connected physically. So when you know, you know, that's pretty cute.
Thank you, that's pretty cute. I knew pretty early on too.
I wouldn't say in the parking lot, but I mean, I think it's
supposed to take a little longer. It's just I don't I don't want to
take the wind out of your story. You're going it's fine. I mean,
it's all the same at the end of the day. You know.
Well, I will say about you, I've known you kind of a short
time, but we've bonded pretty quickly. I actually feel like we're very similar
people. We are, and we've had a lot of the same experiences growing
up. But you've always striked me as someone who's a little closed off emotionally
and you don't give your heart to anybody lightly. I didn't really even know
you to date too much, and then all of a sudden, you were
dating Dolly and it was pretty clear pretty quickly that you were infatuated. And
then I think maybe even like six or seven months ago, you've pulled me
aside and asked me a question about when did I know with Kim and something
about being engaged, So I kind of had a feeling that was coming yeah,
which shocks me at the time because I was like, really him.
But I'll say also, like, the third thing I'm thankful for is specifically
something that you told me this yere. Actually I don't even know if you
remember. In fact, you probably don't remember, because it was a comment
that you made like in passing okay, And it was like we were all
just hanging out and discord together, and I remember I was bringing up,
like I think, Me, Scoot and Biscuits were all like bringing up individual
like dramas that we had going on, like in our communities and stuff like
that, just like people that like whatever, like no like details notwithstanding,
right, Like yeah, like we were talking about this and discord and stuff
like that, and You're just like, and I remember you saying something along
the lines of and in the nicest way possible, being like you guys talk
to people in your communities, and I was just like and I was like,
I was like, yeah, like like why and again not in a
mean way, but it's like, you know, I think that that moment
was for me very groundbreaking in being a creator that doesn't become susceptible to the
parasocial kind of mentality that people you know, you know what I mean,
you guys had drama because it affected like these yeah, like community people in
my community. Community like really affected me. And then kind of would just
started like in one fall, Swoop was just like it's like why why are
you even dealing with that? And I remember I remember something about this.
From that point on, I was just like, I like, my priorities
changed a lot, and I was like, all right, focus on friends,
family relationship, and then the community. And like you know, friendships
that you meet with just people that like watch you on stream is like entirely
secondary to all that. Yeah, so it has to be. That was
good. On one hand, it's like you you want to I understand you
guys are really close to your communities because you're streamers, so so on one
hand you need to, you know, take feedback from them and stuff.
But on the other hand, it's your stream. It's a dictatorship no matter
what. They can vote all they want, but it's your content and you
have to steer the ship. Yeah, what I said very much came from
a place of having learned that myself too. Like every creator when they start,
they start small, no matter what. You always start small. So
you're so appreciative for every person you have. And it's so easy when it's
ten people, twenty people, one hundred people to be in a discord and
to know those people and to chat with them and talk with them. And
you want to do that because one you really appreciate what they're doing for you,
and two you feel like you know, these connections are what's going to
help you get more popular. But the more you get inter twined in that,
and then you get drama in that and people feel too close to you
or connected to the content, Alexa, please shut up, you can start
to have a lot of issues. And I went through that a similar thing
with a discord that I have and I still have. That used to be
ran by a bunch of people I was friends with, but they were also
part of the communities, and it became a giant, say the S word,
shit show, and I was so emotionally distraught by all of it for
weeks, and I was at that point I was like, this is not
feasible, this is not okay. I shouldn't be doing this. It's not
a good idea. And I was out. And since then, I barely
ever talk in my discord and I'm so removed from that side of things.
You can talk to me when I'm live, but other than that, I
have a life. Yep. I think there are definitely people that I'm still
like close with, but by and large it's just like now we're just chilling
playing Fortnite for the most part, and all of the drama is like secondary
to that. So that I'm thankful for, like releasing that burden from myself
is very is very good for Well, I'm glad my sarcastic throwaway comment help
me get wealthy. I'm also just thankful for our friendship too, because I
mean, everyone in this room, a lot of you are like new friends
to me. Jordan, we go way back at this point. Well,
I think we're about a decade old. I know, but a lot of
these people are new friends. And you know, I'll say, I'll say
this too to you, not that you don't understand why I'm upset about the
whole thing. But Kim Kim said something that made me realize something about myself,
and that's I don't have family. I have. I have my brother
and sister back home and we talk sometimes, but I and we're trying to
build a relationship now. But I've never had family, and I've always kind
of sought that. And this is the first time in my life I've been
surrounded by such good friends and I've been making them my pseudo family. I
feel like you guys are my family. I think of you like a brother.
So it felt a little bit and this is not on you, This
is me, This is my issues, and I can't wait to go to
therapy on Tuesday. It felt a bit like that same family rejection of just
someone not wanting to do something with me, you know, And that's why
it hurt. But it's a good thing because I see you all as family.
I love you so much. I knew that, Like I I know
that I get that from you like you, uh you do you do treat
us like family? Yeah, for sure. That's why you guys, That's
why you have friends. It's family giving literally, like this is you're not
going to have like a Thursday, this is the one, but no,
I get that, Like yeah, like, but you're not losing no,
I know. It's still I know here it was supposed to be a good
sentimental thing, but just just came from what Kim said, is that I
do really see you guys as my family much. You will know that makes
a lot of That makes a lot of sense. I you know, I
feel the same way everyone in this room right now, Like this isn't just
oh it's friends getting together. You know, every single one of you have
touched and affected my life in positive ways. That just sitting here and trying
to explain them all on a podcast is not going to do them justice,
you know, whether how personal or you know, however they've come about.
I cherish each one of you greatly for just accepting me as who I am
and have been there for me at my lows and my highs. And it
absolutely means the world to me to just be here, you know, just
hanging out seeing each other and knowing that I can have real friends and considered
family, you know, just from the internet, and actually, you know,
making it a real life thing. And I just want to say I
love every single one of you, and I'm happy that you're all in my
life. I love you so which pie did you bring? I love the
wine. I love It wouldn't feel right if you want here like it feel
like something was missing big time. I just changed my entire life. I'm
crying. I am upset. You guys are family to be. I just
moved across the country, uh, And I kind of made that decision like
last minute, really quickly, when I noticed the bank account was draining to
zero. I lost my job in May, and you guys were in Japan,
but I got a job offer in California. So I took it,
and I didn't get to tell you guys because I didn't want you guys to
like be upset during Japan. And when I told you guys, I was
freaking out the entire time. Uh that you guys would be me or upset,
But you guys always just give love. And I'm really lucky to have
friends like you. Why wouldn't we be proud of you for getting the job.
Because it's dumb anxiety. I need to go to therapy on Tuesday too.
You should go together. You know. He did this in a discord
call, and he did the same thing. He was like, it sounded
like something was horribly wrong, and I was scared. But but then you're
like, I'm moving to California. I was like, oh, that's great.
I got a job. I'm like, that's cool. But the whole
thing is that, the whole sentiment is I like, just moved. I
just got there. It took a fucking week. I'd imagine the whole thing
was extremely stressful. Yeah, I just got to California in November and I'm
already back home. Essentially, travel too much. It's insane. You travel
for somebody who's his full time twitch streamer. He's been streaming every day stream
Yeah. Uh, but I came back for this because not seeing you guys
this weekend would probably ruined my month. He was so adamant of making it
that when he didn't know what day it was going to be, he just
booked the full four days to stay with me, just so he would make
sure that he got friends giving. Yeah, so he's staying for a while.
My mom asked like, just would mind And I honestly did not check
with food. And I'm like, you didn't even check what airport you should
come into. Okay, again, not the craziest things. So I flew
into Newark Airport, when in reality I should have Inadelphia in an airport.
But to be fair, whenever I came here previously, I would always go
to Newark, which was always a mistake to get a car, but I
would drive. They have cars at Philly. Well you did that because you
were I did that when I drove. But also would just went to Japan,
and he was like, oh, I'm going to Newark to fly to
Japan from Newark because it's very different. It's Philadelphia not an international airport.
They're not gonna have flights to Japan. There's no direct flights to Japan.
Yeah, well that's just confusing. That's just plumb confusing. I wish they
did. I understand why you did, why you did what you did.
Yeah, but you also should have talked to him about you know what,
you guys are ripping me for the wrong thing. On Wednesday, I fight
to Boston. It's the real dumb thing I did. But fight to Boston
from JFK that you have to take a train. Just take just cancel and
take the train the whole way. I might, it's it's gonna be the
same thing. Yeah, that hundred it was one hundred dollars flight, But
you gotta get there. He's gonna take the train. Figured out the train
goes to moya Han, so he's gonna have to then get to JK from
moya Han. Yes, yeah, just take the train. Taking it away
from your stupidity for a second, and going back to how I felt about
you leaving. Yeah, you have become one of my best friends, and
I felt this whole time i've known you that eventually I was gonna lose you
to California. Yeah, he always joked about and moving to California. I
gotta be honest, I really was hoping it wasn't going to happen because I
didn't want you to leave. I'll fixated a second. It's that one.
It doesn't matter when you did leave it. I was really happy for you
and also really upset. I know, but it's an interesting thing for me
to experience the other end of it because I've moved a lot. I left
Texas, I left Canada, I left Australia, and every time I had
people that I was really close to, but I knew I had to leave
for whatever reason, to marry Kim, to follow my dreams, et cetera.
And there were always people that were upset that I was leaving. This
time, I felt it in the other direction. So even though it hurt,
I was like, that's what that feels like when somebody goes to chase
their dreams and I'm happy for you. Why did it hurt? Because I
have no family and this is my family and it felt like someone was leaving
you. Really am not lost it all. I still am always going to
be here for you, because I mean, you do it, do it
every week. And he said, anytime you guys need me, just tell
me and I'll be out here no matter. No. It's a good thing
because it's good for you and it's good for your career and everything. So
yeah, I think so. When you said you were you wanted to go,
I was like, yes, I said, yes, do what's best
for you? My man, you wanted to be that much as I love
you being close to me, it's about you. It's about you. It's
best for you. There's more opportunities for you there. And also now I
have an excuse to go to Cali. I never did there. You go
Disneyland. When are you guys coming to Disneyland? We can get he said?
He said, will you visit me in California? You know how I'm
usually like I don't want to give him anything you don't want to give.
You don't want to give anyone. When people try to bait me into being
nice, it makes me recoil. I don't want to do it. So
but I would go visit him, and he's like, oh, yay,
when do you want to go to Disneyland? And I'm like, now you're
going crazy. I don't want to do if I'm You've already got me to
say, want to go to Collid. We know we did it. I
I will get this guy in Disneyland, I promise God damn Mickey Mouse,
your hat mark my ten minutes walk. I don't this is him. Where
do you think he would move? I'm surprised he doesn't live in Disney.
I don't believe by the way I was, you know it's it's I know
where he is that it's pretty damn close. But the I heard this conversation
happened just before by the way, and Scoot asked you, Bob, are
you going to come visit me in California? Are you going to come visit
me in California? And you said maybe? I said maybe, But you
have you have a I've heard this. I'm like my brain, my brain
translated that to yes, yes, no, exactly, you have two maybees?
Uh? You have you have a Hey, Bob, do you want
to play like this game on stream? Maybe? And then you a maybe
and that one means yes, okay, like the high higher tone inflection means
you are going to do it, but like you don't. You just don't
know when you're going to do it. No, I don't want to give
you I don't want to give it to you. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
but you have a lower register, like let's plan it together just because
Kim wants to go to Disney too. I have friends in California that always
want that. I never have an excuse. I've made so many online friends.
You're the You're the one that takes me over the edge. I'm the
needle, baby, the needle. What does that mean? Okay, bingo,
what are you thankful for? Be honest? Yeah, and don't say
bold is Gate. No, I was gonna say something serious. So what
I know you guys for what two years now? I'm thankful for this guy,
for for bringing me together with you guys. Yes, you know what's
funny. It was kind of weird. Initially not weird, but you were
like, I have someone that can play games with us, and I'm usually
really hesitant to talk to anybody. I don't remember our meeting you you were,
I remember this. It was a cold winter's night. We were logging
into play a hearty session of vow. It was a Discord friendship to begin
with. We did it really. It began because we needed a fifth Biscuits
was always in Discord. I didn't even know what he looked like. For
a long time. We would always give him so much crap, and we
would do like the sidebar, where anytime he spoke, we would have a
sidebo talk crap about it. We bullied cook sidebar, quick side sidebar.
He's fucking leaving the podcast lecturing us about route. I really don't appreciate it,
don't I think I think you would make a good co host, just
saying I don't want it. I'm out of the side man. We're back.
But you grew on me and I think everyone really quickly. You're very
nice, You're very charming, and it got. It grew to the point
where you watched my house for two weeks. Because I trust you so much
and I consider you one of my closest friends. I can see you,
guys, one of my closest friends too. I'm so grateful that I met
you guys. Okay, real quick, can we leak real quick something that
happened? Because he's really good at Valorant. You got so pissed off with
him. Yeah, you said he needed to make an alt account. Oh,
I agree. I mean I haven't said that in a long time.
Well, I was. At this point. I've accepted he went bad.
He got really mad one day, and because we are bad and he is
good, you are really mad one day, and he goes, if I
so cute, i'd be platinum, especially would great offense. It's a pretty
harsh. It's a pretty harsh thing to say, is one hundred will go
do it? Then I gotta say I I played a lot of CSGO back
in the day with a lot of friends, and uh, I remember saying
the same fucking thing to my friends too, because I thought I was hot
ship at CSGO and they were shitty. But then when I did the rage,
it's the gamer ray, I get it. And I remember saying similar
things that it was like, if I solocute, I would just be like,
you know, I'd be like in like high golds or something like that.
And then like I did try solocuting, and I got humbled pretty damn
quickly. I mean, Biscuits is legitimately that good that he could do it,
But you'd get randoms, which it sucks not often. You know what
happens when you play with randoms. He starts telling them where we are.
Every time we play with random is horrible. It's so bad. I will
say. When Jackson was out doing his tour across America. You started playing
on his account and then all of his dreams game trip. Yeah, yeah,
super easy. I tweeted out that I got the gold and I'm not
even joking. Three people DMed me. Can you coach me how to go
from bronze to gold? You should do it. You should do that would
be any video, Yeah, just just like old sniper wolf a Valor and
coach. Yeah, that's a good video. You should do that. You
should like film the behind the scenes and show how he's playing the game,
but how it looks like you. Yeah, this is I'm really good the
game, but actually it was never me playing And here's how I tricked it
pans down and you see the Ludwig video. I mean, what else is
your content? Brutal? Oh my god, you gotta do it. You
don't charge them, right, I could not take well I could. I
think I could take their money if I felt good about it. No,
because you got to coach them terribly. Yeah. Oh, I think the
thing that makes that video really funny is if you have a face cam,
right, that's you, but then the handcam is like completely different skin tone.
No, that would be fun I think you just legitimately have to coach
them poorly, like it's you and your game. I think it would be
funny. I think he should be horrible if you could set it up this
way, get into a custom lobby that looks like you're online, so the
five people you're playing against it going really easy, and everything you coach is
terrible. But somehow you're still getting older kids. They try to do the
same thing as you. It doesn't work it right, but the judge you
just want to charge and no one. Everyone will run away from you.
Would they see it and we're missing are missing you? That'd be great.
All right, we're way past way we gotta get It's like two am.
Yeah, we have a big day of eating too and doing a bonus episode.
Oh yeah, it's a bone. Gotta go do a little food run
tomorrow too. Well, that's it. That's it. We have never again.
We have like four or five episodes left to wrap up the year.
I'm thankful for all you people watching this long, not just in the history
of the podcast, but in this one episode, because it's a long episode.
It'd be cool if you guys got one hundred K in the last five
weeks. That would be cool. We never did quite get the sub slowed
down. I don't know how many active listeners we have. Our videos range
anywhere between forty to sixty thousand views sometimes and then I've never even looked at
the audio listeners, but it is a podcast, so I imagine it's several
thousand over there too. I'm not sure how many active listeners we have,
but no matter how many it is, thank you to each and every one
of you for being a part of this journey. It's been really cool,
and it's been cool to have you all along with it. To be clear,
we're finishing out the year. This is not the last episode, still
finishing, still going. We've actually we recorded an episode already that we pushed
back to next week and that would doesn't know that it's ending yet. Different
energy, that'll be fun. Energy. Is that the episode where you try
to tell me you want to go do an episode in Rochester? Yes?
And I'm like, and I also think I even say in the episode,
isn't it wild? We're going to get to one hundred episodes? And you
went maybe which maybe was that? Jackson's got to see it. I gotta
see the maybe it was? It was? It was not a high pitch,
maybe because when he said it, I felt like something was happening you
you end this episode. Thanks for being here, everybody. I appreciate you
all. This has been great. We're again still doing more episodes. It
feels like the end, but it's not, so there'll be a more heartfelt
goodbye later. This is not goodbye. Fuck you, don't forget to cancel
the patreons. Cancel Patreon now that you should definitely cancel Patreon. Bye,
but there's gonna be more Patreons. If you want to watch the last four
or five bonus episodes, hold off just at that point. Don't forget.
Check the check. Goodbye, Thank you for being here. I appreciate I
love you. I love you. Guess I'm gonna freeze the patre everybody here.
You won't get accidentally shocked. I will freeze the Patreon myself made.
Oh I love you so much, I love you more. Though he might
that's true, I have proof by Oh, thanks to all the guests.
Whatever. Bye,
