Speaker 1: Welcome everyone.

00:00:01
Speaker 2: This is the Local Toy Dealers KSR postgame show.

00:00:06
Speaker 1: The Cats with.

00:00:07
Speaker 2: A strong win tonight against the Lipscomb Bison Bisons ninety seven sixty eight.

00:00:15
Speaker 1: Kentucky led from.

00:00:16
Speaker 2: Start to finish, only Todd once at two to two big lead. Early, kept it the whole game and gets the victory. You can give us a shout, We'll go ahead and open it up a five nine, two eighth twenty two eighty seven. Really, two main things about the game. First of all, the game itself. It was nicey Jackson Robinson get back on track. I think that was the thing that clearly Kentucky wanted to focus on. After maybe uh, you know, maybe not the best game against Duke. He ends up being the leading scorer. Has twenty points, six for ten from the field. Another great game for Oway, o way away Otega uh only played Otago only played fifteen minutes and had fourteen fifteen minutes, fourteen points. That's pretty good. Lamont Butler goes six for six from the field and has sixteen points. So for me, those three guys obviously stuck out the most. But the great thing about this team is you can even point to other guys and say, okay, Kobe Brea three for three from three. He is now sixteen of nineteen for the year from three, He's shooting eighty three percent from three point. That's pretty good. I don't know for sure, I will guess that leads the country. I also think that would be a record if you were to finish like that, probably by about thirty percentage points. When he's open, it's the most money of money shots. I wonder if we'll see him miss a wide open one all year. I'm sure he will, but I haven't seen it happen yet. The three missed I think I can remember two of them were kind of contested, so I.

00:01:53
Speaker 1: Bet they all three were.

00:01:55
Speaker 2: So those are the four people that, if you look at the stat line, are most impressive. But then, of course Mark Pope made an interesting point at the end. The person who played the most minutes. You look and you say, okay, well, Andrew Carr only had two points in twenty five minutes, one for five from the field. No you go, oh okay, Andrew was off tonight. But then Mark Pope made the point that in plus minus he had the highest plus minus on the team plus twenty nine. Now there are people who will tell you plus minus is overrated, and that may be true a little bit, but I do think it says a lot over the course of a year. And that is now at least two of the four games where he's had the highest plus minus. I don't remember the other two, but I know he had it in the Duke game and in this game, so that's at least two in a row. So you know, you look at this and it's just one guy after another playing well, you know, and that is really exciting. You get my favorite dude, all Minor gets six points, Brian Garrison eight points. There's just it's just everywhere you go you see players playing well. And I thought tonight, as odd as it sounds for a team that for a team that had ninety seven points and shot fifty four percent from the field, I actually think they could have played better offensively. They probably, I thought in the first half were a little bit stagnant offensively. Pope said that at the end as well, But that's the encore story. I think the more interesting thing tonight to me were three things that were said in the postgame press conference. I have to tell you I had gotten to the point in recent years where like I just I didn't even listen to the postgame press conferences.

00:03:42
Speaker 1: Nobody ever said anything.

00:03:43
Speaker 2: I would just sit here with Billy and wonder when Cow was gonna finish so that we could finally go on the air. And sometimes it would be a long If we won, Billy would be like a half an hour. If we lost, it'd be like four minutes. That's right, Mark Pope's comments, like, I'm gonna listen to all of them.

00:04:00
Speaker 1: But it wasn't just Pope. So let's start. Let's go back to the first.

00:04:03
Speaker 2: One, which was Jackson Robinson who was talking in on the television broadcast, which, by the way, shout out Travis Ford. I thought he did a great job tonight, like really really good. He could do that if he wants. He can be a color commentator for college basketball if he wants to do it instead of get back into coaching. But he in the interview with him, he said, I feel like he was talking about the Duke game, Remember a game we won. He said, I felt like I let down my team and BBN with my body language. Notice he didn't say with his play, but with his body language. And you know that's clearly something somebody had said to him and he took responsibility for it.

00:04:44
Speaker 1: That's a really a veteran, a real veteran thing. And I like that a lot.

00:04:49
Speaker 2: Second, the Lipscomb coach and Lipskin's Good Good program went to the I think they went to the n i T Finals or Final.

00:04:56
Speaker 1: Four a couple of years ago.

00:05:00
Speaker 2: Coach said, you know, we have to we play a lot of Power five schools here.

00:05:03
Speaker 1: They do.

00:05:04
Speaker 2: They probably play four or five a year. That's, you know, basically how schools like lips can fund their programs. He said, we play a lot of Power five schools, and he said, this is the best Power five offense that we've played.

00:05:18
Speaker 1: I think what he.

00:05:18
Speaker 2: Means by that is there may be offenses that are equally as efficient but much less talented, but as far as just efficient offenses, the best he's played. And when you think about that, for at least a half I'm not sure. I mean, we only had ten assists. He didn't even get to necessary see the best version of it. He basically said, if you make one mistake, you give up an open thirty. That's also pretty exciting from a coach that's very smart and been coaching for thirty years.

00:05:47
Speaker 1: But then the third thing.

00:05:48
Speaker 2: Is was Mark Pope's interview there with with with Tom Leech. Some of these quotes, I mean, like I'm not telling you all that listen to this anything don't know. But like Billy, don't tell anybody. But I'm a little bit of a of a dork and a nerd, right, it don't tell anybody. I don't think people know that, but like it is true and it is nice. I feel like we have an inner nerd as a coach, and I really really appreciate it.

00:06:21
Speaker 1: I'm just gonna read you a couple of these quotes.

00:06:25
Speaker 2: First of all, he was asked by Tom if he and his coaches were worried about a letdown game, you know, after the Big Duke went, and he said, quote, we don't stress, we don't worry, we don't get nervous because it doesn't actually help. Billy, that's like the most that's the most profound thing you'll hear today outside of sports. Yeah, that's exactly right, Like, we don't stress, we don't worry, we don't get nervous because it doesn't actually help. Now, of course, in some ways that's easier said than done, but it's it's also completely true. Like you, if you can't do anything about it, you let it go, right. You don't have a choice. You can't sit there and worry about it.

00:07:09
Speaker 1: Not worry. It's not gonna change anything.

00:07:11
Speaker 2: Let's say, hypothetically, Billy, there's a big event in the country where something like a news story or an election happens and you don't get the result you want.

00:07:19
Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, you can't worry about it. What are you gonna do?

00:07:23
Speaker 3: Yeah, can't change anything.

00:07:24
Speaker 2: Can't change anything. So I like that, But then I like this one even more. They asked him about preparing and they said something to the effect of, were you going to warn your team about a letinow this is I wrote. This is as close to the direct quote as I can get, because I you know, I was trying to write while he was talking. He said, quote, the neuroscience is one hundred percent behind this. We don't spend any time talking about what we don't want to have happened. We only talk about what we're trying to do. The neuroscience is one hundred conclusive, focus on what you want to have happened, not the opposite. First of all, how many college basketball coaches in America, Billy, you think have ever uttered the words neuroscience? Not a ton I am sitting here trying to think of any coach that I'm aware of that has come through Upperena that would use the word neuroscience.

00:08:26
Speaker 1: Yeah. Not many. Uh, I don't know. I can't think of what. I'm sure there's someone.

00:08:35
Speaker 2: I'm sure Mark's not the only nerd, but there's someone, but there aren't many.

00:08:40
Speaker 1: So he's out here, quote neuroscience.

00:08:41
Speaker 2: This is game four against Lipscombe, and he's out here, quote neuroscience, and he says, we don't spend any time talking about what we don't want to have happened. We only talk about what we're trying to do. The science is conclusive. That's what you focus on. That's also not just in basketball. That's great life advice, like don't spend your time trying to make something not happen. Spend your time trying to make something happen. That makes complete sense to me. And really, I'm not sure I've thought about it like that. So here's a postgame basketball quote from which you get too like actually really good life advice comments. And it wasn't like Tony Robbins like preachy, stupid stuff. It's actually real, you know, real intelligent theory. But before you think this is too high minded, I'll go to his final quote, because you can tell a lot by the way coaches say things and what they say.

00:09:42
Speaker 1: He said.

00:09:44
Speaker 2: He ended the interview by going, we have a chance to be a really great team, and I'm really excited about it. Now that's not, as they would say, really high falutin language, a really great team and I'm really excited.

00:10:00
Speaker 1: You know what, Coaches don't say that unless they're good.

00:10:04
Speaker 2: You know, cal over the years, you could tell by about game seven or eight whether or not he really thought the team was any good. Coaches know right, they know what they have. We're four games in the year and my guy saying we could be a really great team, not a great team, a really great team. I don't know, maybe we underestimated this group. And Bob we I mean me, like, is this a group that can like really do something?

00:10:35
Speaker 1: Why not? They've won every game about thirty points and beating Duke. I don't know.

00:10:41
Speaker 2: It's hard not to get excited. I'm trying, Billy to not you know, not get myself to too hyped up. I don't want to do that because you don't want to let down. But I'm not gonna worry about it. You know why, because he told me not to, and I incited about this group. This group is fun to watch. They play a style that's a visually appealing. They play for the name on the front of the uniform, and they really play hard. And that's not gonna win every game, but that's gonna win a lot of games.

00:11:14
Speaker 1: And this is.

00:11:16
Speaker 2: You ask longtime fans and you say, well, what was your favorite team? You'll get a lot of answers. Usually it coincides with teams that were champions, but for me, an underrated favorite team. My favorite teams are probably ninety two, twenty fifteen, twenty ten. But the fourth one of that group was two thousand and three, the Tubby team that was number one overall seed. Bogans gets hurt we lose to Marquette.

00:11:44
Speaker 1: That team.

00:11:45
Speaker 2: I can sit here and read you the players on that team, Hawkins, Fitch, Hayes, Daniels, Estel, Bogans, Barber, and.

00:11:58
Speaker 4: You go, well, Keith Mogans was good, but you know, rest that group, they were all solid, but the whole was greater than some of the parts, and that was kind of what made that team so fun to cheer for, because you knew what you were.

00:12:11
Speaker 2: Getting collectively and that it was better than what you would get individually. This this team kind of gives me those vibes that team you remember used to blow people out, and I don't know, this team has a little bit of that O three Tubby thing. Maybe Jackson Robinson can be Bogans, but you know they were games. Fitch Lettuce Hawkins hit game winning shots, Estele could be dominant. Sometimes Hayes was a warrior.

00:12:38
Speaker 4: I don't know.

00:12:39
Speaker 2: Maybe there's a little bit of that in this group as well. A five' nine two eight twenty two eighty seven. We'll take your calls, take a break, another great win for Kentucky, the start of the BBN Invitational, Wall the tournament feeling you could get in that arena.

00:12:55
Speaker 1: We'll be right back. This is a Local Titter Dealers KSR post game show.

00:12:59
Speaker 2: Welcome back is the Local Toy Dealers KSR postgame show. Purdue leads Mark excuse me, Marquette leads Purdue thirty nine thirty two in the second half. Chance for a top ten team to go down, you know, because we're number nine. Every time a top ten team loses, you could sit there and go, oh, we're moving up, moving up. So probably pulling for Marquette here to get the home win against Purdue Louisville. One against Bellerman who was without their best player, but otherwise pretty slow night in college basketball.

00:13:30
Speaker 1: Next week is a big week in college basketball.

00:13:33
Speaker 2: Next week is you get the Mallle Invitational, and you get the Bahamas, you get all the Nike things, So a lot of big games next week. But we will be in the BBN Invitational, which of course is the most prestigious of all.

00:13:45
Speaker 1: Western who's at first Western? What is that Tuesday night?

00:13:48
Speaker 3: It's Tuesday night?

00:13:49
Speaker 1: Yeah, are you nervous about that? You think you think Western can give them a game at all?

00:13:52
Speaker 3: I'd love to be the one to tell you that. But I don't know who's gonna stop this Kentucky team. And I don't think it's hanged.

00:13:58
Speaker 2: Somebody will, somebody's gonna somebody's gonna win. I think we'll lose to Gonzaga on the road.

00:14:04
Speaker 3: Make that long drive out there for the first loss of the year.

00:14:07
Speaker 1: All right, all right, Actually, I'm trying to think I've attended.

00:14:09
Speaker 2: A lot of road losses, but I've also attended some pretty amazing road wins. I mean I was at the game where Malik Monk had what forty seven or whatever he had against uh, what was it?

00:14:22
Speaker 1: Forty one? Maybe?

00:14:22
Speaker 2: With the game against North Carolina, then the game with Oscar and Severe where they had such a good game against North Carolina. I was at Tyrese Maxi's Champions Classic game where he went off.

00:14:33
Speaker 1: Against Michigan State. So I've seen some pretty amazing performances.

00:14:36
Speaker 2: But I was also at the Ohio State loss in Madison Square Garden. I was at the Champions Classic loss to Dukes and Champions Classic loss to Michigan State.

00:14:47
Speaker 1: So I've had some bad ones too. All right, who's up first?

00:14:50
Speaker 3: Let's start with Eli, Eli?

00:14:52
Speaker 1: How are you Eli?

00:14:54
Speaker 5: I'm good?

00:14:55
Speaker 6: First time, medium time?

00:14:58
Speaker 1: What's up?

00:15:00
Speaker 6: Uh?

00:15:01
Speaker 7: So?

00:15:02
Speaker 8: Great game.

00:15:03
Speaker 6: I was at the game one way home now. But all the people saying that Travis and Trent should play more, I think those last six minutes kind of proved why they shouldn't.

00:15:16
Speaker 2: Well, I mean, look, they The problem for those guys, and the problem for sort of the bottom group is two things. One, they have a hard time generating offense because they because they're young.

00:15:30
Speaker 1: But the other thing is really defensively.

00:15:31
Speaker 2: I mean, you heard Mark say in the last five minutes, uh you know, lips Com ended up shooting about sixty five percent from the field those last five minutes. So I think defensively is as much of an issue for those guys as scoring is.

00:15:44
Speaker 1: Towards the end.

00:15:48
Speaker 6: I just think I think they'll be good in the year or two, but right now I just don't think.

00:15:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, well, listen, I don't know how people I appreciate the call.

00:15:57
Speaker 2: I mean, if Kentucky was losing, like I would understand those those comments.

00:16:04
Speaker 1: But who do you want to take out? Like who you trying to not play?

00:16:09
Speaker 2: I mean you could make an argument that their dude's not getting to play enough, as like like kerk Crisa can't find a way in even though I think he's really good.

00:16:17
Speaker 1: But like who you're gonna take out? O way?

00:16:20
Speaker 2: Butler and Robinson are a heck of a backcourt. Then when you have Cresa coming in off the bench. I mean, Chandler would play for most teams, ninety five percent of teams in the country.

00:16:32
Speaker 1: And he can't get in.

00:16:34
Speaker 2: So you know, almanor was a starter on a team that beat a one seed in the NCAA tournament.

00:16:40
Speaker 1: He's our ninth man. Like, it's just this is a really deep team. Who's next?

00:16:46
Speaker 3: You mentioned Chandler he had to play the night, don't you think, Oh that was a great play.

00:16:50
Speaker 2: I was certain he was out of that. Yeah, I mean, good for listen that that made the highlight reel there. That was awesome, Like, gotta love that hustle. He's gonna be good, by the way, I think he's gonna be really good. I don't think it's gonna be this year, but I think like next year, when you're looking at the roster and we're saying, okay, well, oh wait, maybe back Garrison, blah blah, you need a pencil Chandler in to play next year because he's gonna be good.

00:17:13
Speaker 3: Nathan is next, Nathan, go ahead and Nathan.

00:17:17
Speaker 7: Yeah. I mean I think tonight it's like, uh, it's kind of like mister Biagi, like he tried to get everybody focused, and I think they got a bunch of Danielson's on there. Okay, So yeah, yeah, I mean it's been it's been fun to watch man. You said focusing earlier and that's the first thing I thought. He was like, mister Miyagi.

00:17:46
Speaker 1: Mister Miagi. There you go.

00:17:48
Speaker 2: Well, I appreciate the call, Mark Mark BIAGGI been a while since I've seen Karate Kid, but I do remember the He was a person of a focus, little Zin.

00:18:01
Speaker 1: View all listen.

00:18:02
Speaker 2: It's clear the sort of sports psychology component of the way Pope approaches this, that's a big part of it. To him, there's no doubt about that. That is a big part of how he looks at all of this. And it's clearly working so far, and I don't see any reason why why it won't continue.

00:18:22
Speaker 1: Who's next, Chris, Chris? Go ahead, Chris?

00:18:27
Speaker 8: Hey, can you hear me?

00:18:28
Speaker 1: Matt, I can hear you?

00:18:30
Speaker 8: All right, I'm gonna read something real quick. There was nothing more important than being on the team. He created a culture, an identity, and a style of we have a collective sense of effort and purpose and we're going to get this done. I made a comparison Wednesday on the pre show to Pope to John Wooden, I don't mean championships. I mean setting the culture, his leadership style, and his mindset. Just like you were saying, he's an intellectual. He is like John, He's Wooden esque in those factors. I'm not saying we're gonna win all those championship maybe a couple, but I really do think Hope is one of one and h Wooden esque. I'll hang up.

00:19:19
Speaker 1: Wow, I love it. Well.

00:19:20
Speaker 2: I appreciate the call. You know, Wooden was like a great from people who know him, was like a very kind man who was like sort of a silent yeah, culture builder, etc. I don't think Mark's very silent, but I also think he's like he combines some of that.

00:19:41
Speaker 1: Like I have to tell you, just on a personal level.

00:19:43
Speaker 2: A lot of people who sort of live their lives by motivational quotes I find to be really cheesy and I sort of roll my eyes at it. But his are not based on you know, again a saying that you get in a calendar when you rip it off every day. His are like based on science. I mean when he talks about not just the neuroscience, but talks about why they do that, Like he said at that at one point tonight, he's like, the number for us is thirty nine percent. We want to hold the teams we play to under thirty nine percent. Well, I went there and looked Billy first, gate Wright State was thirty five.

00:20:20
Speaker 1: Okay, buck Now was.

00:20:23
Speaker 2: Thirty nine exactly, Duke was thirty eight point six, and lipskinb was thirty eight point eight. So thirty nine percent is their number. And guess what, they come pretty close to it every time. So that'll be something to kind of watch as the year goes on. The look at the field goal percentage, you know, are you shooting? Are they holding the team to thirty nine percent or less? Because the way I think Pope's theory is the way they play because they're gonna shoot so many shots and threes, and they're gonna play so quickly.

00:20:56
Speaker 1: As long as they don't.

00:20:57
Speaker 2: Get up to forty three forty four, Kentucky's gonna win more, they're gonna lose.

00:21:01
Speaker 1: And I think that's the way they look at it.

00:21:03
Speaker 3: The new rule of seventy one in the analytics age.

00:21:07
Speaker 1: Yeah, there's no rule seventy one. I don't know if that's gonna although it's four and oh so far this game this year, but I don't know.

00:21:12
Speaker 3: If it's gonnall. Now it's thirty the other team who's up there, tray tray.

00:21:18
Speaker 9: Go ahead, try Hey, what's up, Matt?

00:21:22
Speaker 1: What's going on?

00:21:23
Speaker 9: Got two things here. First one is, man, it got the wheels turning in my head. And I when I saw Jacks come back and and and play a really good ball game, which I was glad to see him put up twenty points. But the thing that that got the my wheels turning into my head was, Man, if going back to the Duke game, your best player scored, I think did he scored? One point? One?

00:21:52
Speaker 10: One point?

00:21:53
Speaker 9: Okay, super Flag scores one point on Duke is Duke.

00:21:56
Speaker 2: Even in that ballgame, they have no chance that would be any game, any game this year, any game this year where Cooper Flag scores won.

00:22:04
Speaker 1: They're losing by fifteen.

00:22:07
Speaker 9: That is a testament to our gut. I mean, we really have it. And then the second thing is so I live here, you know.

00:22:16
Speaker 2: On that point before you get to the second thing, I want you to think about Kentucky. On that point, about your second thing, I want to just take a second. Let's assume, because I do agree with you, Jackson Robinson is our best player.

00:22:27
Speaker 1: We had a caller today say he thought it was like our fourth best player. He's our best player.

00:22:31
Speaker 2: Now, I don't think he's definitively our best player, like I thought he was before the year.

00:22:36
Speaker 1: But he is our best player.

00:22:38
Speaker 2: So let's go through like Kentucky teams and think about the Kentucky teams of recent years, how they would have done if their best player had one point? So like last year, how many games we win? And if Antonio Reeves has one point the two years before that, how many games we win in if Oscar has one point? You know, even even go before even though John Wall, Brandon, Anthony Davis, uh Nerlans, Noel. I mean you saw it that with Nerlans when he went out for the year, right, Julius Randall.

00:23:08
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you could go through all of them. We ain't winning a lot.

00:23:11
Speaker 2: Of games if our best player only has one point. And on this team, our best player had one point and we beat Duke.

00:23:19
Speaker 1: You're right, that's a very good sign.

00:23:23
Speaker 9: Yeah, no, it's uh. It was good to see him get back in back in order. The second thing, so I live here in Saint Louis, Missouri, and I missed the I don't know, like the first two and a half minutes three minutes of the the first half at tip and I get on the telecast, and I'm like, man, that that the color commentator sounds really really familiar. Who is that guy? Well, he started talking about the ninety two team and about Kobe Brea being a nightmare coaching against them last year. I'm like, oh my god, it's Travis four from slugh and sure as heck it is and and and man, he did an awesome, awesome job.

00:24:05
Speaker 1: I thought he was great.

00:24:06
Speaker 8: That was great.

00:24:07
Speaker 2: It's interesting you call him not Transford from Kentucky, Transford from Slough, So like he's slew to you.

00:24:16
Speaker 9: Well, I mean it is what it is. But you know, he's a he's a lifelong cat. But yeah, no, I'm not much of a slow fan. But uh, it was just it was just crazy to see you that's true on the.

00:24:30
Speaker 1: Tele I don't know, I appreciate the call.

00:24:32
Speaker 2: I'm not sure that I noticed that he said that about Kobe Braan, but that makes sense.

00:24:35
Speaker 1: Yeah, he would have.

00:24:36
Speaker 2: Coached against him last year with Dayton, so yeah, he would know. Well, man, he's got a pretty shot. I remember, you know, we've had this debate over the years. We talked about it with uh with with Antonio and and Reid some last year and then what's his name before that, kelln Grady and then Jamal Murray. We've said it about over there, but if they're a open, do you know what's going in?

00:25:02
Speaker 1: I don't know. Is Kobe Brand the best at that? Villy?

00:25:05
Speaker 2: I know it's only four games in, but like, who do you feel more money about when they're open than?

00:25:11
Speaker 1: Yeah?

00:25:11
Speaker 3: Not many. I mean the one three he hit against the zone, I mean I knew it was in as soon as he shot it.

00:25:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, and the one where he kind of pumped faked the guy went flying.

00:25:19
Speaker 3: Went flying. Yeah.

00:25:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, It's like you just kind of know that's going in. That's that's a layup. I mean, I think that's what Travis Ford said. It's a layup. And it kind of feels like, who's next? Grant Grant, go ahead, Grant?

00:25:32
Speaker 11: Hey, Matt, first time a long time?

00:25:34
Speaker 1: Who are.

00:25:36
Speaker 11: A couple of years ago, my brother was getting married, so I brought him up to Lexington for his best party. We did the whole bourbon tour stuff and then to watch the game that night against Auburn. We came to your restaurant and we rolled in late. You guys were packed and we had ten people and you made it work. You gave us a spot up by the stage and the stage itself and we had a blast. I want to thank you for that. Nowlogy for the same night, at the very end of the evening, things are wrapping up. I came to find you and said, hey, we're going to get out of your wais so you can do the postgame show. You said, no worries, stay where you are. I'll just scoot in a little bit. So we did. And then I got a text from my wife and she says, your brother didn't throw up outside of ks Bar, did he?

00:26:18
Speaker 1: I do remember that guy? Yes, that was bad.

00:26:21
Speaker 11: And that turned to my right thinking he was next to me, and I looked over and it was empty seats, and I don't know if you noticed, but I just disappeared.

00:26:27
Speaker 2: After that, we had we had to clean that up. I remember that, yeah. And then by outside, I think she was on the patio. I don't think it was all the way outside.

00:26:37
Speaker 1: I think it was.

00:26:38
Speaker 2: He didn't tell me that, you know what, that's time, all right, no big deal.

00:26:44
Speaker 11: But he made up for it. He came down to Atlanta with me and we went to the Duke game and I screamed. My lungs out and I still don't have a voice from tuesday.

00:26:51
Speaker 10: So uh.

00:26:52
Speaker 11: Anyway, I appreciate your kindness stuff there while we were.

00:26:55
Speaker 2: There, No problem, thank you. Eighty seven. I remember that guy. You know, we've had that bar now for seven years. So when you remember a certain person, that means something.

00:27:07
Speaker 3: Billy must have left the mark.

00:27:08
Speaker 1: Yeah, I do. I remember that guy.

00:27:12
Speaker 2: Hey five nine two eight twenty two eighty seven. Let's take a break and we will return. This is the Local Toy Dealers KSR Post gamp Show. Warner Mackett is the Local Toy Dealers KSR Post Game Show eight five nine twenty two eighty seven. Text machine is seven seven two seven seven four five two five four. One person writes, my husband and I are sitting here listening to the Postgame Show. My husband is drinking a glass of milk. I can't believe I'm married to a cycle path. Sorry about that. I hate that you're married to a cycle path, but you know, just watching, that's all I'm saying. Again, it's not the It's not Billy that everyone that drinks milk is a cycle path. But I think the amount of people that are cycle paths that that drink milk is one hundred percent.

00:28:00
Speaker 3: Well, maybe you're right about that. As a milk drinker myself, I'm here.

00:28:08
Speaker 2: But I said on the show today, if you were to read the headline K s R. Member has secret life is serial killer, I think most people would agree you first, that you would be their first GISs.

00:28:23
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:28:23
Speaker 3: I don't know about that. You know, I thought Shannon might defend me. He says, no, that's perfect.

00:28:29
Speaker 1: Who would you put who you think most likely of the group.

00:28:34
Speaker 3: You know, we've said the nicest person on K s R is also the meanest.

00:28:38
Speaker 1: So you think Ryan would Maybe he's.

00:28:40
Speaker 3: Lived a double life and he's the actual serial killer.

00:28:43
Speaker 2: He gets the well you get angry to you, and you and Ryan get the angriest.

00:28:50
Speaker 1: The one that would surprise me the most of all six of us is Mario.

00:28:53
Speaker 3: Yeah, Mario know what to do?

00:28:56
Speaker 1: That would be the most surprise? Who shots fired? If I've two eight twenty two eighty seven? Who's up there? Jordan? Jordan? Go ahead, Jordan.

00:29:07
Speaker 12: First of all, that milk is amazing, So either red chalk milk or chocolate milk is amazing.

00:29:13
Speaker 1: Okay, but again, that's not milk. You're you're talking about sugar.

00:29:17
Speaker 2: You're basically when you're getting chocolate milk, you're saying what you like is chocolate.

00:29:22
Speaker 1: I'm talking about beare back milk.

00:29:27
Speaker 12: All right, that's fair enough. So let's get to basketball.

00:29:30
Speaker 1: Now.

00:29:31
Speaker 12: We'll scratch the milk conversation. So it feels amazing to sit back and watch Kentucky run sets. They're bringing their big men up to the top of the key. Everybody's moving. It's not an isolation move like a Caliperry offense. I've watched a terrible offense for fifteen years, and now we're seeing movement.

00:29:49
Speaker 13: People are getting open.

00:29:50
Speaker 12: Everybody's got a shot at all times. This team is so much fun. I know cal Perry had fun teams, but this might be the funnest team I've seen in probably twenty years.

00:30:03
Speaker 2: Might be I mean, I you know again, fun? I agree, I mean, I were you. Are you old enough to remember the three team?

00:30:14
Speaker 10: I am.

00:30:14
Speaker 8: I'm thirty five.

00:30:16
Speaker 1: That's that's who they remind me of.

00:30:18
Speaker 2: And that team was a lot of fun, right, I mean, I would encourage younger fans go watch I think it's on YouTube, the three Kentucky Florida game and I contend that some of the best basketball Kentucky team has ever played the first half of that Kentucky Florida game. Second half, they were up like twenty, but Florida was number one in the country, and they came in and we were up twenty five at halftime. And the way they the way they played, I think is a lot like this team plays. That team was elite defensively. This team might be better offensively than that team, but they're both like like they can just put spurts on people. And what's funny is I still don't think we've seen this team play their best yet. I think they've played really well, but I think they're still like, like, we're gonna beat somebody good by thirty this year at RUP, and it's gonna be fun to watch.

00:31:11
Speaker 12: It's gonna be a Jackson Robinson game whenever we do it. The thing that's fun about this team is everybody can hit threes. Jack and Robinson has still not showed his true potential yet this year. It's something I think he's waiting for a big game. Lamont Butler tonight hitting the two quick threes to start the game, you weren't ready for that nobody was ready for that. He's not been hitting threes all year. But like that just shows what Mark Pope has in this team, what he's doing with this team. It's it's one of every the players in this team loved being here. Mark Pope just has the environment and everything put together. I think this is gonna be a fan favorite for years to come.

00:31:47
Speaker 1: Yeah, I appreciate the call. That's uh, you know, Billy, were you are you? Are you too young to remember the OL three team? I am, yes, Oh my goodness, that's crazy to me. I was eight, you're eight. Yeah.

00:32:04
Speaker 2: Okay, So like somebody wrote me in and they said, okay, Matt, rank your top ten favorite team. Sorry, I'd have to think about that, But for me, probably goes ninety two, number one, twenty ten, two, two thousand and fifteen, three, three, four, and then five. Can go a lot of different ways, and I could see this one slotting in there if they keep playing like this, just because of all the good mojo around it.

00:32:38
Speaker 1: I only I'll ever like a.

00:32:39
Speaker 2: Team like I like the ninety two team and probably the twenty ten team, But who knows, Maybe we'll have this conversation at the end and this one will be like number three.

00:32:48
Speaker 1: Who's up next?

00:32:50
Speaker 3: Cooper?

00:32:51
Speaker 1: Cooper? Go ahead, Cooper, Oh, I was.

00:32:55
Speaker 14: I just got home from the UK games and I saw a stat that said they are the first UK They are the first UK team in UK history to make ten threes in their first four games.

00:33:10
Speaker 1: Yeah. What do you think about that? Cooper? That's crazy, isn't it?

00:33:14
Speaker 11: Yeah?

00:33:15
Speaker 14: It seems so unrealistic.

00:33:17
Speaker 1: How old are you, Cooper?

00:33:20
Speaker 14: Eleven?

00:33:21
Speaker 1: All right?

00:33:21
Speaker 2: So Cooper eleven years old. When I was eleven, the basketball team they stunk that year, so I didn't get to have this the year that you're having here. So you tell me, Cooper, give me your breakdown of this team so.

00:33:35
Speaker 1: Far this year.

00:33:39
Speaker 14: So far, my favorite player is probably Jackson Robinson or otega Oway. And I think their best chance to score is when the other team's playing his own defense. If they get the ball to Kobe, Braid is always going to be wide open in that.

00:34:00
Speaker 2: You're already you already are bet you're already better at it than Billy. Oh, thank you very much, Cooper, appreciate your car.

00:34:07
Speaker 3: I like milk, Cooper, Yeah, I love it.

00:34:11
Speaker 2: See, but he's eleven. That's the perfect age for milk. Keep drinking milk. But do me a favorite Cooper when you get to be eighteen, don't drink it anymore.

00:34:20
Speaker 10: Okay, I think about it.

00:34:23
Speaker 1: I thank you Cooper, appreciate the call. I like Cooper. That's the kind of sass you need from a future radio.

00:34:31
Speaker 3: That was a good kid call. He had steps.

00:34:33
Speaker 2: That was a good kid call. See you don't like kids, Cooper's why you should like kids.

00:34:37
Speaker 1: There are a future. Who's next?

00:34:39
Speaker 3: We have another Jordan?

00:34:40
Speaker 1: Jordan? How are you, Jordan five eighty seven?

00:34:44
Speaker 10: Doing well?

00:34:44
Speaker 15: Matt?

00:34:45
Speaker 8: How you doing? Buddy?

00:34:46
Speaker 1: Doing good?

00:34:48
Speaker 10: So I want to.

00:34:49
Speaker 15: Call this out. First off, the three team. If you recall that senior night game against Dandy, oh ye, at one point time, Stay were up I think what was it forty two at one point in the first half. I remember that game.

00:35:02
Speaker 1: It was the first half. That team, the first halves.

00:35:06
Speaker 2: There were three games that year where they played a first half that's as good a basketball as you're gonna say. Florida Georgia. Georgia was top ten that year, people don't really remember, and we did the same thing to them. And then that Vandy game, we were up forty in the first half. Azubuki had a dunk that you're still gonna have a hard time convincing me in the greatest.

00:35:26
Speaker 1: Dunk of all time.

00:35:29
Speaker 15: It's definitely out there. And honestly, you actually just made a good point. But I was wanting to talk about that clip that UK the social media group put out with Mark Pop and the coaching. But you know you said some about Azubuki, so I kind of say a shot part does oh take it away not remind you of a version of Azubuki in terms of how he's built, just how physical he plays, but can still make that open shot.

00:35:50
Speaker 2: He's a lot more physical than I think I realized, to be honest with you, when the year started. You're right, I mean I he is, and I appreciate the call. I mean, fifteen minutes, fourteen points. He had a little bit of foul trouble in the first half. You know he's been for You know, I was saying during the offseason all year and I thought we were kind of one player short. But it may be that Oway was that player, and I just didn't know he was that good because in my mind, I thought, Okay, Robinson's the best player, Butler's gonna be really good. Car's gonna be really good. Braille make threes, got a couple bigs, but we're one player short. Well, if Oway ends up being really good, that maybe that's your player right there. And then Kerr kind of gives you what I thought Oway would, and all of a sudden, you have the makings of a team that can really really do something.

00:36:43
Speaker 1: Who's next?

00:36:44
Speaker 3: Cathead?

00:36:45
Speaker 1: Cathead? What's up? Hey, guys?

00:36:49
Speaker 13: You talking about the raw milk and Matt I'm from Knox County, so you know where that's at. My grandparents used to keep goat milk interfrigerator and that was terrible that I don't like milk right now? Oh yeah, yeah, go out and go out and milk it and put it in a jar and put it in a refrigerator. But yeah, that's probably a lot. I don't like milk right now.

00:37:11
Speaker 1: Well, you're smart.

00:37:13
Speaker 2: People in Knox County know what they're doing, but you they didn't know right right?

00:37:20
Speaker 13: So what I what I want to talk about is that this year so far has been so much fun. Mark Pope has put energy in here. It's fun to watch, and I just wanted to say that I'm having a hard time, not hard time, but I'm still learning the players, right, but I'm still I'm still enjoying the name on the front. So we're still rooting just as hard as we are. I'm trying to learn the players, and I will learn players. But you will say, it will be really fun to go to Nashville this year and you know, hope that we can win some games, possibly win the tournament, and then Ryan and Drew can get another great goal cart golf cart.

00:38:13
Speaker 1: I love it. Appreciate, I love it. Appreciate you call. You're exactly right. Yeah, it's gonna be. I mean, there's a lot of things that the last few years.

00:38:21
Speaker 2: Haven't been as fun that are gonna be fun this year, like the uh, you know, the home game Saturdays during conference play, Uh, those can be They're gonna be great. We've got I think Alabama and Arkansas coming in here on Saturdays. That's gonna be. Think about how much fun those Saturdays are gonna be. Even the Louisville Saturday coming up here. Uh in a few weeks. The SEC tournament is gonna be an absolute blast. You know, this is gonna this is this has just such a just a chance to be such a like reinvigorating. Uh, you know, reinvigorating season. By the way, the only people really crazier than the people who drink milk or the people who drink raw milk.

00:39:06
Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't say that's me.

00:39:07
Speaker 1: I know, I was thinking about this.

00:39:09
Speaker 2: There's at least two famous people that drink raw milk, and then there's like two people I know of my regular life, and one of them may be listening now, and you know, I love you, but all of them are kind of off.

00:39:22
Speaker 1: The rocker a little bit, right, Yeah.

00:39:27
Speaker 2: I mean, like when you have the ability to not like when you voluntarily say I'm going to go back two hundred years in technology and drink the things that used to kill people.

00:39:41
Speaker 1: To me, that's an odd decision.

00:39:43
Speaker 13: Yeah.

00:39:43
Speaker 3: What about the farmers across this great Commonwealth, Matt, what would you tell them?

00:39:48
Speaker 1: Keep making their milk for children, cereal and other.

00:39:53
Speaker 2: Dairy products, just don't drink it. Just don't have adults to drink it. And if they're rigging it, Row put them in prison. Who's next?

00:40:03
Speaker 3: Todd? Is next?

00:40:04
Speaker 1: Todd? Go ahead, Todd?

00:40:06
Speaker 10: Hey, what's on that?

00:40:08
Speaker 1: What's going on?

00:40:11
Speaker 16: I mean, I'm forty five, you know, I grew up in the Eddie sudden era. But I haven't seen Kentucky basketball like this in years. What do you mean, so Pope just gets it?

00:40:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no he does.

00:40:31
Speaker 16: He's sky basketball.

00:40:33
Speaker 2: Somebody said to me a few days ago that they think Pope combines the best of Rick and Tubby, meaning like Rick's style of play and excitement, but Tubby's kind of personality.

00:40:47
Speaker 1: Do you agree with that?

00:40:50
Speaker 8: Yeah?

00:40:50
Speaker 17: I do, and I mean he just I mean, how do you get fifteen players to come together to play like they have played in that's four games.

00:41:01
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been great, it's been great. Appreciate the call. Marquette is gonna beat Purdue. It looks like Billy cam Jones of Marquette has eleven points, ten rebounds, and nine assists, one assist away from a triple double. The last person to get a triple double for Marquette do you.

00:41:21
Speaker 1: Know who that is?

00:41:23
Speaker 3: Dwayne Wade.

00:41:25
Speaker 2: Dwayne Wade against that Kentucky team in two thousand and three in the Elite Eight. So I kind of hope he gets the other assists so that they'll never show that stat again, because that's it's amazing. In twenty one years, that's the last time they had a triple double. Guy's got a chance one more assist to get it tonight. We'll take a break. Uh, it is eight nwenty two eighty seven.

00:41:48
Speaker 1: Who are the only three triple doubles in UK history?

00:41:51
Speaker 3: Billy, that's a good one. Did Oscar get one?

00:41:55
Speaker 1: No?

00:41:57
Speaker 3: Kenny Skywalker?

00:41:58
Speaker 1: No, you don't know. I don't why I'm asking you. You thought Reggie Hansen.

00:42:04
Speaker 3: Love Reggie.

00:42:05
Speaker 2: For most of UK history, the answer was only one Chris Mills. And then in twenty seventeen, two different players got it that year. Do you know who they were? Twenty seventeen. I've narrowed it down for you. Nope, deer and Fox and Isaiah Brisco. It's a weird group all the Kentucky players. You would say, who are the only three to ever get a triple at triple double? I don't think you would just randomly assume it's Chris Mills, Isaiah Brisco and deeron Fox.

00:42:36
Speaker 1: But that's the answer. We'll take a break. Hey, if I'm not two eight oh twenty two eighty seven.

00:42:40
Speaker 2: Come Back final segment, it's a local toy Dealer's KSR post game Welcome Back final segment.

00:42:45
Speaker 1: It is the.

00:42:46
Speaker 2: Uh local Toy Dealers KSR post game show. If you needed one assist to get a triple double, would you just like just pass it the moment you got it, give up a lay up to try to get somebody else's basket.

00:42:58
Speaker 3: I'm definitely like colluding with like we're just we're running at this game.

00:43:02
Speaker 1: May be a little close to do that, but I would. I think I would do it. That's a lot. Yeah, eleven, it's three and a half minutes, but it's a big game there. It's top ten team.

00:43:11
Speaker 2: People are writing me with the teams they think I should have had on the list. All good points if I gave you, if I gave you my top four.

00:43:23
Speaker 1: So let me go real quick.

00:43:26
Speaker 2: After the after the three team, I would say number five would probably be ninety eight. Number six would probably be ninety six, Number seven would probably be ninety three. With Travis Ford in the building tonight with the Mashburn group, I think number eight would be twenty twelve. I know we won the title. I just I didn't think those games were as fun to watch as some of these other teams. Obviously I loved the team. Then after that, maybe twenty seventeen, number nine and uh we'll just say number ten. We'll just throw in like four, the team after Bokens that was also really really good but got upset in the tournament by UAB and those twin brothers. Their names were like Squeaky and Fruky or something like that building Squeaky and what there was a guy. One of them's name was Squeaky. I don't remember what the other one's name was, but they were like twins and they both had names like squeaky and Squawky or something. And what they threw in famous play from that guy guy that got through it behind his head all the way down the court and dunked on us.

00:44:38
Speaker 1: It was bad. It was a bad loss. We were number one overall. See lost in the second round. Who's up next?

00:44:43
Speaker 3: Hall is next?

00:44:44
Speaker 7: Hall?

00:44:44
Speaker 1: Go ahead? Hall.

00:44:47
Speaker 9: Hey Matt First, I'm a I don't drink milk, but maybe about five or six times a year, and majority of the time it's usually with like a hot brownie or warm cookie or something like that.

00:44:58
Speaker 2: I don't drink Yeah, no, again, the reason you like it if you're put if you're dipping a cookie or a brownie in it, you're really doing it for the sugar of the cookie and the brownie. It's not about the milk, you know what I mean, It's about the thing you're putting with the milk.

00:45:12
Speaker 11: Yeah.

00:45:13
Speaker 9: Yeah, that's a good point. You're absolute right, that's a good point. But there's one thing I think, you know, I've started to realize about Coach Pope here the last couple of games and even in the preseason games, and I think Jay Billis talked about a little bit because he was so surprised playing against Duke Coach Pope. His ability to get guys from random schools, playing in different commerses and such and to come play together. It's quite incredible to see. I mean, I know we saw that with Cal maybe in some early stages of his career. He talked about me like the eleven.

00:45:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, he did that with high school kids. Cow did it when when Cow was at his best. That's what he was able to do with high school kids. He'd get a lot of guys who are stars and get him to play together.

00:45:57
Speaker 9: Absolutely, But we always talked about Coach Coke's off and how it built like that was a big talk coming into this year. But for him to do this, it's really quite incredible to see I'm so looking forward this year, and then also.

00:46:08
Speaker 2: The other thing to remember about the other thing to remember about these guys. I'm not sure any of the guys that came as crazy as this sounds, I don't know if any of them except maybe car were even the best players on their team.

00:46:27
Speaker 1: Think about that for a minute.

00:46:29
Speaker 2: I mean, you know, Robinson might have been the best player, but he was the sixth man, right, Brea was the sixth man, Butler was probably the second best player at San Diego State. I don't know where Oway ranked on that team for his team. So, you know, Amari Williams, I don't know enough about Drexel, but I don't know that he was like I know, his first team all defense, but I don't know about it. But like, so, it's not like he went and got five mid major superstars.

00:47:02
Speaker 9: He got like, yeah, exactly.

00:47:04
Speaker 2: Five mid major really good players and then watching them collectively become even better.

00:47:13
Speaker 9: That's that's that's you're absolutely right, And uh, you know, going to think of next year, his ability to get guys to buy in, and thinking about the freshman coming in this year. I know some may jump to the NBA maybe next year if their talent sender or whatever. But for them to buy in just for a year, just for the as coach Pope said, even coach Rick Patino said, to buy in for the front of the jersey and the back will take care of itself. Is really cool to see.

00:47:38
Speaker 1: That's exactly right. Appreciate the call. I think that's yeah.

00:47:43
Speaker 2: I mean they all you know, you get a dude, I want you to think about what it's like to be these guys for the other teams.

00:47:51
Speaker 1: Like take a dude like.

00:47:53
Speaker 2: Annsley Almandor who starts for Fairley Dickenson and then comes here to play teen minutes, right or you know, all these guys numb are guaranteed guaranteed minutes and to do that, that's even another level of sacrifice.

00:48:11
Speaker 1: And we haven't even seen like a hint of ego.

00:48:14
Speaker 2: I mean, Jackson Robinson said, I let down my team with my body language.

00:48:18
Speaker 1: Billy.

00:48:19
Speaker 2: I didn't even recognize it as particularly bad body language, did you.

00:48:23
Speaker 3: I mean, I you know, halftime he was kind of like holding his head in his hands a little bit, and I could see it then, But just a really mature thing for that guy to say.

00:48:32
Speaker 1: Yeah. Still one assist short for Cam Jones. I'll keep you up today. Let's do four more in cal tonight. Who's next?

00:48:38
Speaker 3: Doing good?

00:48:39
Speaker 1: Doing good?

00:48:41
Speaker 8: Go ahead, Hey guys, I'm doing good.

00:48:44
Speaker 10: I hope you're doing well.

00:48:46
Speaker 1: Uh.

00:48:46
Speaker 10: The biggest thing, the biggest takeaway that I've got from these, like the first four games, is, you know, comparing it to last year, the sum is so much better than the park. You know. With Calipari, man, I love cal He was a perfect coach for us at the perfect time for a while, but especially in recent years, he become kind of like that winn He's commercial. You know, parts is parts. But with this group, my gosh, like you said, we still got a really high ceiling. There are so much fun to watch. As multiple people have you know, commented even on this, I never know who's gonna be the leading score. I have absolutely no idea, and it is. It's just it's fantastic. It's like a real, real breath of fresh air. And I've just I've enjoyed every minute of this season so far. One of the other things that I've really enjoyed For those of you that haven't heard it yet, you admire it. On Sunday mornings, you're becoming must listen to radio. You guys are absolutely killing it on Sunday Mornings, and I'm really enjoying your NFL show. I'm gonna maybe call in one of these days back and listen to you guys.

00:49:56
Speaker 1: That's very nice of you, Thank you very much. I enjoyed doing that.

00:50:00
Speaker 2: And for those of you listening, subscribe to our podcast Sunday Mornings with Matt and Myron. When the NFL season ends, it'll be easier to do stuff like The problem is, we preview these games and then they happen, and then it's like, well, after they're over, do you want to hear the previews? But we try to make it interesting. But when the season's over, it'll even be like more timeless, like Billy's postgame show.

00:50:22
Speaker 1: He's going to be hosting Friday Night. That's right, Billy, Billy, this only second time you've ever done this? Right? Yeah?

00:50:28
Speaker 3: I did it for Drew's wedding with Max Stuffy and.

00:50:32
Speaker 2: So you haven't done it yet. Yeah, I remember I was on that one. So you haven't really done it yet just by yourself.

00:50:38
Speaker 3: Yeah, no I haven't.

00:50:39
Speaker 1: Are you nervous? No?

00:50:41
Speaker 3: No, I was born for this.

00:50:44
Speaker 1: Oh you were?

00:50:45
Speaker 3: You were Born postgame radio show.

00:50:46
Speaker 2: Not nervous at all. Like, so you've been like waiting for your Jackson State call up.

00:50:51
Speaker 3: Well, what's the point of being nervous?

00:50:52
Speaker 1: Man?

00:50:52
Speaker 3: I mean, I just think all the positive things that could come.

00:50:55
Speaker 1: That's right. The neuroscience is clear. That's right. Billy.

00:50:59
Speaker 2: All right, Well you're so he'll do that. Uh, he's gonna do that on Friday. He'll be hosting the post game show. So for those of you that have have wanted to call in with Billy, he'll both be answering the phones and and doing the show.

00:51:13
Speaker 1: Who's next, Let's go to Wayne? Wayne?

00:51:16
Speaker 9: Go ahead, Wayne, Well, first time, long time?

00:51:21
Speaker 1: Who are what's up? Wayne?

00:51:26
Speaker 18: I have two things. The first one is about my favorite players to night. It was the past that Channeler made during the lights to Williams and the shrine dump.

00:51:38
Speaker 1: Yes, well that one was great. Do you think you could do that?

00:51:43
Speaker 18: Probably not?

00:51:45
Speaker 1: Probably not? Okay.

00:51:51
Speaker 18: My second, Jackson Robinson's my favorite player and just watching him tonight because I that a game and I was amazed how many points he had.

00:52:07
Speaker 2: Yeah, he was great, wasn't he? I I like him too. He's kind of silent. But uh, another guy who has a pretty shot. And uh, I'm glad you had a good time at the game. You're gonna go to another one?

00:52:24
Speaker 1: All right?

00:52:25
Speaker 2: I appreciate your call. There, Okay, we'll good. Well, enjoy yourself. See there you go, Billy? How do you not like the kids?

00:52:31
Speaker 1: Now? When you host Friday? If kids call, you're gonna have to be nice.

00:52:34
Speaker 3: I don't know about that. I mean, I'm in charge.

00:52:37
Speaker 1: So is it a no kid Friday? Is that what it's gonna be?

00:52:40
Speaker 3: It'll turn into all the kids calling on Friday if I say that nice?

00:52:45
Speaker 1: Okay? Hey, I think he got his assist right there?

00:52:47
Speaker 3: Did he get it?

00:52:48
Speaker 2: I think he did. Does that mean no more Dwayne Wade? I think he he passed that. That should be an assist. They haven't put it on the screen yet. We'll see, all right, who's up next?

00:52:58
Speaker 3: Jacob?

00:52:59
Speaker 1: Jacob? Go ahead? Jacob?

00:53:01
Speaker 5: Hey, Matt, first time, long time?

00:53:03
Speaker 1: Who are what's up?

00:53:05
Speaker 7: Hey?

00:53:06
Speaker 5: Headed back to Webster County. What was at the game tonight?

00:53:10
Speaker 10: Hey?

00:53:10
Speaker 5: Just want to paint this picture for you. Tell if you ever heard this before, a team comes into rep Ana and just shoots the lights out, you know it was encouraging tonight to see you know Liptom started old for thirteen from the three point line. It was just kind of nice to see that.

00:53:26
Speaker 2: Yeah, that didn't happen a lot. You're exactly right. Normally they're making them all. He did get the triple double, by the way, Billy, So no more Dwayne Wade to have to worry about on that staff.

00:53:34
Speaker 1: But go ahead, no.

00:53:38
Speaker 5: Hey man, that's great. I think maybe give our defense a little more credit. A lot of bets hit on that draftking tonight.

00:53:44
Speaker 2: Well good, Yes, I appreciate Webster County all over the place this week. Had two Webster County groups today at the bar for the radio show and now you on the post game. Be careful going home. Big win for the Cats. Kentucky's looking great. Man on year, it's been exciting. Let's just hope he could the good vibes keep rolling. Cats win ninety seven sixty eight. Tomorrow will be at the bar as well at ten am.

00:54:10
Speaker 1: I'll see you then. It has been the local Toy Dealers KSR postgame show
