I'm also here, producer of the show Doctor silver Ball's Smart, Mark Sterling uh, the Phil Jackson of Wrestling figure collecting. In this podcast is brought to you by our good friends Ringside Collectibles use code major to save ten percent and the guy who opened the first ever pod, who opened the one year anniversary and now who opened the two year anniversary episode h he us the Edge Edgehead, Ringside Exclusive, A little bit Ringside Exclusive. Rings Are you doing Okay, it's been a long day. We just we just recorded FF lost his voice. Full disclosure. We were all kind of uh in disagreement about if this was the two year anniversary or not it is. I think it was up to us. It's either this episode in the next episode before which we'll hear the call. Because you can't celebrate the anniversary afterwards. Like you're celeping your birthday before your birthday, you don't celebrat your birthday after I think that's like an official rule. But like you go to Christmas parties before Christmas, you don't go to christ party after Christmas. Sometimes Yeah, yeah, I disagreets today. Well, you made the call anyway, so here, we are here, we are We're here, still here, very excited, Thank you guys. And well, we almost forgot that we had an anniversary coming up because we've been so focused on FWF, so focused on our actual like lives and careers. And also we kind of really plugged hard episode A hundred a couple of weeks ago where we kind of did the celebration thing. Yeah, I feel like we don't have to really harp on it. Two years it was Summer Slam weekend. We uh finally bit the bullet. You finally convinced me to do this with you. Great decision, and the rest is history. Well, and we picked the picture of that first night. I know we sort of alluded to it. You guys were just watching Summer Slam at Brian's like you weren't planning on doing it right or what. No, we were. We were because we had Pat Buck's equipment, so we had already kind of decided. I know, the day before we went to Bruce Ritchard's show in the city, and then the next day we watched Summer Slam here at my house, and then the following days Rob Barclays where I introduced everybody where you were there as an extra right, and that's kind of like the three day event of what happened you already But by the time I had met Brokey, you are already recorded an episode. We must have had already decided to do a pilot because we had Pat lanked us the legendary Cobana podcast equipment that was lent down to him. So at some point we must have said, hey, I think we're going to try this out. And of course all these episodes available in the archive. Um I listened to episode one before the hundredth episode. It still holds up, but you could tell everything has changed. Like I remember somebody, uh I won't mention his name because he didn't actually come through, but he wanted to make us like a jingle for the show, and I was like, we can't have a jingle. We don't have any catchphrases. Now look at us. The whole thing is a catchphrase, you know what I'm saying. We had no bits, we had no inside jokes, and now that's what this whole thing has become. This this community, this this this brand. I mean, if we didn't evolve, that would be pretty bad. Huh yeah, So we have our own action figures several Oh no you are, yeah, several, um. But yeah, so guys, listen, we're not going to take the trip down memory lane again. And we want to thank all of you so much. And you know, we're super pup, we're super excited for the future. It's it's more. Uh, you know, at first it was a one day a week thing. Now you know it's a seven day a week thing, multiple days a week, multiple times in that day, just doing stuff business calls, plan and stuff, booking a figure fed, right, And I wouldn't have it any other way, you know, thirty thirty five years old. I'm you know, looking at my figure arena that's permanently set up in my office right now. It's permanent. It's permanent for now because I don't want to take it down every week. It could get taken down. I think it's cool looking at your video and we'll talk about that in a second, Like it looks really cool as part of your office, like as a setup part, right, So it's pretty I can't I can't do that because Mackenzie like pounces on it whenever I have mine mount and I purposely and which I love. It's so collapsible and condensable. It's just Brian, I have mine on a little table, so it just helps everything out. It's like, I don't know it. Actually it looks nicer because it's not on the floor. Yeah, got that bad knees, so for me to get down there all the times, you know. So I can't even you're You've rearranged that room so much. I can't even pitch it. So right now, we'll talk about it later. But right now it's in front of my title belt. This is the Bushman Mark Bushy, and up next is weekly Purchases. Well Mark the bush Man Bushy. Thank you very I can't believe you're a real voice. I thought it was like that. I doesn'el like one of those computer voices when you type something on the computer talks like a serie. The GM of raw voice didn't it have like the what when the GM of raw was like a computer for like a couple of months. Oh, I don't remember. You were definitely on raw. I feel like I wasn't watching this segments. Sorry all right, Brosky. Why is it such a big week for weekly purchases for you? Well, I got a lot of things. That's why. Um let's start off with Ringside Collectibles. Of course I got a couple things from there. We probably have very similar things, so let's just go for it. Mincewicmah elite, Yeah, give me your thoughts. Mincman Elite seventy. You opened this and I opened it. Okay, Um, the stand is cool but so bizarre, way too small. Bits better than nothing. I wish there was some kind of like branding on it, but it's literally a baby blue square. That's what it should be. Should just be a little taller. But beggars can't be choosing, Okay, and I feel like beggars can't be choosers can be said about the entire figure. I I wanted to just love it. I want to love that. There's just something and I still do love it. I think, of course, I think the thing, that little thing is that it doesn't look like mincewicmah. I think it. I feel like the true effects put on his face is from like modern day of insct Man and not nineteen eighties insct Man. I still think it's a great figure. I've been wanting this figure for years. I think the suits a little too dark. Also, that's really nip. That doesn't that Yeah, that doesn't bother me. I do like the interchangeable hands here that I literally have that left hand closed in my case with the mic to his mouth and his hand open something. It's still a great figure. I just wish the face is a little better, That's all I'm saying. I say I'm such a mark for Vince figures, and throughout the history of time we've kind of got them so few and far between. Besides that bone cruncher Arrow where they released that vincent ring gear like four hundred times, his figures are just so few and far between, and really having the Mattel era now if you think about it, nothing, Yeah, there's the two pack, but the basic two back with Austin. There's the Toys r Us like one of the suit, one of the suit, and then there's him with Punk two back right from that mash the head on row. Then there's the the Toys Rust where he's like in the street gear jacked up like rumble gear. And that's that's it. That's figure in all these years. That's kind of crazy, and one was a super rare Toys Rust. It's it's like a mail away. It's not even that you couldn't get it the story I think you could get in the store. I think later on it wasn't eventually, you guys, don't get me wrong. This is in the front of my Elite collection. I love it. I love it. I just think the face could have been a little better. Awful a little bit, but still great, still great. Um. I also got from ring Side. This is a funny story. So a couple of weeks ago on ring Side, I bought all the retros they had because I have rebuilt successfully the entire retro set Men on card. I'm only missing Superman punch moment. If you got that, I need it, um, But I'm not into the different card variations. I'm not gonna do it. No, that's I think that's Fromacho Man, my favorite. He has a variant with the arms. One of them has like the arms going the same direction. One has an up. I'm down. So I looked at the ones I had from Ringside, and I figured out the one I needed. I went on eBay, I saw it. I bought it. Um. I never looked who the cellar is when I buy something same, so I bought it. Now. Then all of a sudden, I get the Paypala notification you've sent blah blah blah to Ringside Collective Like what I immediately text John like do you even have this in stock? Like because the one you sent me last week wasn't this one. Yeah, And long story short, he had it in stock and uh, so I got it. Does it still have the tape like all the other ones I haven't even checked, honest? And of course I got a little case ski from Ringside for that. Well, you need to protect those flimsyes retro cartings. Uh what else did you get from ring Cyclis? That's it? Okay, So I'll keep going with my Ringside collectibles hall very impressive so um, as you'll hear on this show. I got EC three from Elite seventy. Great figure. You got to see it up close and personal. One of the best figures I've seen a long It's funny and I kind of say this to his face. It's like he's a very I don't want to say cartoony, but his face is very defined, like he's got a like very big big nose, big line, you know, like so, but it's all there. It looks perfect. Jack is af you know, he's got his shocker hand. Um looks great, very happy with that and also like just thrilled it. And I've said so many times here, like especially someone like a friend finally gets a figure, you know, it's cool, especially he's been wrestling a very long time. Uh, speaking of friends, I got good friend Friend of the Pod toy hater Dolph Ziggler Elite seventy one. Both I grabbed, Yeah, I was indecisive. I grabbed both. They're there. I had. I opened and displayed the hot pink one because I just think that pops and it's it's a lot more toytop umps pop coming out of Comic Con. This figure got a lot of like bashing people from the community to fat it doesn't though. It's great, So I think it's a huge improvement from Huge, the last Elite Ziggler I had with like the messy hair, brown hair. I mean, I guess at the time he did kind of look like that, but he's looked like this version of himself for so much longer, and then he's got like blonde blonde hair. It looks great. I think it pops. I think the jackets cool. A lot of detail on him, the deco and stuff, and then the unique things that go into his gear that I don't think even people really realize are all there. Um, and I kind of even dig the hands because you can do like the running his hands through his hair. Suppose you know he does. That's that's how I got him in my my my detail. That's pretty doing that a dolphin detail. Uh So, and I mean he's probably my favorite in the set, but that's like for completely biased reasons, so it's tough to really just a great set. It was very cool set, um, and then rounding out the ones from that set that I got, and actually this figure is pretty perfect to me. Johnny Garranger, no Garrange, you know, Johnny Gargano Elite seventy um, which John told me is the in Trevor that they both told me. He's the one that's like flying for them. Um. It's pretty badass. It's like loaded with Deco, the venom gear. It's great. Um. Another one with a hand works because he does that like Christian looking at the people crowd pose, you can do that with it. Uh. And then the other thing is I never I literally thought that whole Champions one was so bad that Timasso Champion and Gargano that I didn't buy them last year because I was like, these are terrible elite. You knew Bill would get h I know Bill is h A R D about n XT and these guys are on top of him, like he's gonna make so many of these guys. Well, he's in the hard foundation available now pros and ts dot com exactly. So like I made a gut decision to not pick up those elites, which actually like Skyrocket on the secondary market and stuff, because it was the only elites of uh, Chompa and Gargano, but kind of paid off because Elite sixty nine Champa is incredible, Elite seventy Gargano is incredible. I know people are pissy about his kickpads. I get it, but guys, it's a toy. No, I mean, I understand, but like from the look of it, you can't really tell. Right. Also, if they use like an existing mold or something, he'd probably be way too tall and I hate to break through, but John Gargano is not a tall human, So that to me, I think maybe eventually they need to make a special kick they're gonna have to him. I'm assuming that's what they're gonna have to do, But I'm a huge scale snob. So I had a giant Johnny Gargano standing in my collection, I'd be like, it's like a Paul Bear and your classic Superstars, Like, okay, that's a perfect example. Think about how annoying that is. But if you had that for this, it wouldn't be worth it. You'd rather just have this whatever boot painted like a kickpad is what it is. Um anything else from Ringside Yes. I picked up two two packs really of how Gets It Rider Battle Pack? Nope, because that doesn't existicons, which is cool. Uh. I guess the other one Peyton's hair is different, so that's change your hair like every week, so she's gonna be out there. Who whose fault is that? So yeah, I grabbed one from my collection because it's there one and only figures and they don't have elites. It looks like lined up at the moment. Uh. And then I got one another step from Mackenzie because I get her all the female extra figure that's great. Yeah, anything else from Ringside Yes, And actually, dude, pick I was out of dude with that. Yeah, I pick my god, the brand new retro Fast. You're gonna go dude, dude, you know how many times. I performed that song in my Figure D one of my absolute all time favorites. I don't many people notice, but Lawkins was named after cru Henning. I purposely picked the name. Uh, mister perfect. Retro Fest available only at Ringside Collectibles at the moment, or for a million dollars on eBay if you want to pay Scott must be game stop exclusives. That's what even more bizarre. But they're at Ringside first. Still amazing. Yeah, so I got mine, I let it breathe. It's on display, but I brought yours to you. Oh they open on the show. Wow, Um, you know I am let him breathe the guy. Let's talk about how many how many phrases we've coined from this podcast him breathe. I'm not a mental card guy. But this retro Fest package is incredible. Looks at the old school video game. It's the most fun packaging Hotel has ever done for ww I think this is even better than the slim gym overall. Yes, because there's so many of them. Yeah, if there was just one of these, you I don't think you can say that. I do because I've set the mental feelings for this video game. I was slim gym guy. Okay, I'm not tough the old guy either. Okay, now we know. Um, so here it is. So the screen, if you will, has the actual figure, which I think is really cool. Um, so I'm gonna open them up retro fest the back. The back has like kind of like the Royal Rumble esque, uh, like graphic for like the bios if you gonna play like Royal Rumble Robinsdale, Minnesota. We're so close right, um? All right, why do you do that? I'm gonna google maps? How close do you think we are to Robinsdale? I have no idea. I met very close. Oh my god, it's a twenty seven minute drives hard to get out, Yeah, because it's very hard to get out because the bubble it's it's it's uneven and it gets stuck. Wow, I'm looking at it right now. Uh. Interconfidental title. So I have only one gripe with this figure. Well, I have a couple of gripes, but my main right is this is clearly as a Mister Perfect super fan, this is to me. This is clearly. Late nineteen ninety two, baby Face returned Mister Perfect, judging by the single that he's wearing what is it? Would you agree? Deep as towel? I like it actually, to be honest, I like it better than the first towel, more accurate, way more active. It was a hand towel. It wasn't like bath. It wasn't a valvee in his bath towel. I love this figure. I love the decko on the back. It's different. They made this in Jack's form. I believe. Here's my two gripes in They're very minimal. No chest air. That's sway too A lot of motels can be more tan, right, Um, but that's that's a prima don too big. Now, I'm okay with that. I think mister Perfect had a way bigger chest, Like he needs to be more barrel chested. I see that, you know what I mean? Um, he's Jack Mofault. But also, if this is baby Face Perfect from ninety two, he didn't have the icy title. Didn't even sniff it. Yeah, but an access for you need the I understand why it's in there. It's a selling point cooler, but whatever. First of all, he's he's holding the towel in the package. I just ripped it out of the box. He's still holding the towel. Yes, and I honestly that grip is so good at it. I have the best with it either that. Yeah, I will not pose him with the intercon same here I put it in my baggy. I think this is definitely a must buy figure. Also, he hasn't he's on one. His mattails have been few and far between. It's a brand new scan, which I think is a big improvement. Great scan. I'm assuming some kind of true effects. I love the back. I love how it's all black in the backs. Is missed? It perfect. A lot of the the good deco you can't see from the packaging, so be appreciated. But this is a great figure, incredible, miss perfect vable Now Ringside Collectibles, where's Iron Cheek? You know? Ringside? I don't know if they have like a lead on this too, if they can order that, you don't know. And they were surprised that they were able to get this. Uh what else did you grab? I have a couple other ridiculous stories. You go, you go? You say one? Okay? Also, uh, the friends, uh that you're probably texting right now. The Elite Squad sent us over live and Sonya the chase Uh, extore exclusives right to these elites. Um Sonya is a great cool figure or whatever. The live is like unreal, like Oscar level that she comes with the dean ambrose plant, right, Mitch. I don't say it's a gripe, but it's like a head scratcher, like well, because don't they come in They trash things when they walk by and pretas yes, And I think when they first started, that's she's the riot. She's a spray can in her hand and she has that's what it means. And yeah, she has bitched the plant and a table and it's all breakable and stuff. Cool, but it's almost like like I'm not complaining about it, but it's like a Jackson Bone country. Yeah, and the figure is so unbelievable, like perfect that there's no need for you know, like if it stands on its own, you know, it's incredibility. So either way, I want to make those guys. For those I'm glad to have him. Anytime someone gets an elite, I'm glad to add them to my class. What about the when something strange your neighborhood, who are you gonna call? Ghost busters? There is a whole YouTube video where we got these, but we got we got him, we got him, No, you finally let him breathe what I mean? I got him this week too, but we got them a month ago, but we didn't actually get them until we have the Bit of Possession at one point, I as a Ghostbuster fan, as a w fan, I love them. Um. I think it was the best character choices possible besides okay, we had the one of one Hawkins and Rider, um, but really, like I think it works best as flashbacks legend guys. You know, so you got Austin, you got Shawn Michaels, you got Sena, you got Rock and you got Undertaker. Basically it is the whole basic series one hundred lineup. Knock them like modern day superstars. But if it was like Finn and like Roman, oh my god, who kind of suck the coolness out of it? Um, and then it would suck the nostalgia at yes, exactly. And I think the figures are great, Um, they're all unique. I thought the Undertaker holding it was really really cool. It's the translucent purple, he's got the translucent green title. Um, and uh watch the YouTube video mark on box of them all. I love them the Proton packs are the old Mattel Ghostbuster one, but the straps are redone. He told me that. But the confirmation confirmation the shops something that only like Ghostbuster. There's there's no problem. Why why would they be tool? So I guess they're a little too small, But come on, they're fine. They're they're highly detailed. They're great. Um. I love them, and we've talked about the pop before. I will display them proudly in my Ghostbuster collection. About what's weird is that Zach won't be with them. There's because he's with the Zach guys. Because Zach's with the Zach guys, you know what I'm saying. I think it is funny that you had to like decipher where they go. Yeah, they go in the Ghostbuster section, but the turtle aren't with the turtles. The turtle like turtle Ghostbusters are in the turtle section because they're technically turtle toys. I'm talking about the turtle WW guys. Those are in the Turtle section. Okay, so I'm breaking the rule here because these are technically WW toys, not Ghostbusters toys. But they're going in the Ghostbuster shelf. I see what you're saying, because they get totally lost in the shuffle of my wit section. Yeah, there's no point, um, but those are really really cool figures. It's something fun, it's gonna be. It has to be one and done, like I'm assuming. I hope they don't do like a series two where they just read, you know, like they like they did with the Turtles. There's like more guys the same happen like, Um, I love them and they're gonna be exclusive to Walmart any day now, so I hope, hope, hopefully they do well. Yeah, um anything else that you got? Yeah, so last year at this time, do you know how many LJAM figures I have at this time? I don't have the exact count now because it was zero zero. This show has and you and whatever and the itchiness that occurs from you know, talking things out here on this show. I I went, I embarked on this journey that started, uh on figure it out for real? Like you know, there was you show. There were seven guys there and decent enough condition. That was always my thing. They had to be immaculate because I feel like anyone could have a beat up dog figure everything. The point of my wife just sees them sitting on the take of fig Bath on the edge of the sink, where she's like Jesus fig Bath again, Big Bath, Bay Bath. I'm down to three guys, okay, and after this week, I'm down to two because I found actually I didn't find Zoro. Mendez slid into my DMS and goes, hey, check out this auction for ax Woh, which was a very tough one. Man, Like every time I've ever seen it, his face is all messed up, the face paints messed out, and it's just not worth it to have a crappy ax sl He goes, hey, man, this is a decent price. I'm gonna I'm gonna hop on this. If you don't, of course, then I also best offered the guy and got a little lower All right, there you go. You know those Zoro prices, I don't know, but I got that axe, and uh I'm down smash though no Smash because they don't make him. Nobody seems to have him. But I'm down to black Strap, Andre and big bus Man. Well, good luck with that. Let me which is crazy to think in a year I've got every almost every single There's a couple of things I think you need, But can I get some credit here for what I've I'm very proud of you, geez it's it's it's great that you finally manned up. You scratch that LJ and Figure Rich. I'm very very proud of Deep Scratch. Let me just bang out a couple of things, um little uh Trade Sky of the Week Official Holtster on Instagram. He listen to this. He banged both these out for me. I've been in search of these for years. The plastic Mister America mask I had it, but I it got cracked. He had it for me in my condition also when it came out yea. And also the sleeveless white Mister America shirt I got. I think I ripped it by accident as a teen, when you like order those in the catalog, like when that's going on, like just marking out for it. I either order from the catalog or bought them at MSG. When he did Mister Americans one or the other, I would assume that one or the other. So I finally got those in my collection, brought up in the moment and did that well. I would have either done it at MSGU or on shop anyway. I love Hogan. I guess that's true. Also from Justin Walsh. Listen to this. You know when we go on these these overseas tours and we get these lanyards, these like backstage lanyards with the pass. Yeah, he had a WrestleMania ten press pass. It's pretty cool. And I was at wrestle at ten obviously not backstage, but I got the pass. Why not? That's cool. That's a cool momentum. If like, I've actually beat around the bush. That's some ECW lanyards pop up on email. Yeah, I've beat around the about him? Uh real quick? Also, uh Jeff Springer, Uh em, I'm just scored Jeff ninety. He is the guy who got that Mega Maniacs Brutus for me. He's the guy who gave you those Brian Pillman cars I gave you earlier. Oh yeah, he gave me Latred Sky a inflatable WWF blimp. Not not life size, folks, but it's it's still pretty big. It's probably like a foot. That's cool. I'm holding my hands out any back backstory to it or anything or year he said he got it in a package at doc Hendrick sent him. Interesting. Yeah, another other ear why doc He wrote me a whole note I forgot. Sorry, good story. Yeah. Also I got from Lapel, Yeah, Lapel. Yeah. They sent me their WCW Disney World like shirt m and they also made like a similar Landyard two. Actually I saw that. I thought that was really cool. I'm gonna wear that sure this week when I go to uh Galaxy's Edge. You want to go up to two at Disney's Hollywood studios. God bless you. Um. And then the last weird thing I got Disney related m Jeppetto's Underscore workshop Underscore NYC. He makes these like miniature replica Disneyland and disney World signs, and he made me a sign they said major Land. Do you see that? No, what do you mean signed? You didn't see this? I said it to you. Do you not read our tax or check by social media? Not always? Dude. I waited this week. Well you're not gonna hear from me for six days you. Oh, maybe I just didn't understand what this was. That's like the sign that's outside Disneyland like in the seventies, though, isn't it still? It's still there, So that's just like a little statue kind of thing. Yeah, Wow, it says major Land. I can read interesting. I thought those guitar picks. No, then he made these little like Mickey Mouse ear things to see scratched that figure. Rich. So if you're a big Disney there was a big Disney check out Jeppetto's Underscore Workshop Underscore NYC. There's still more stuff for me. I have one more thing, but it's a little bit of a story, so should hang out some more things? Sure? Uh. I have rebuilt my Classic Superstar collection uh through this pod. Uh. And now I'm trying to do the Ruthless Aggression Tron collection and Tron a lot of collections. I'm trying to do the Ruthless Aggression collection. And I'm gonna take my time on this, kind of like you do with the LJN's, but even even slower. I'm not gonna try to get him on eBay. I've got a lot already, though not as much as you think. What's what is September? Are you gonna tell everyone what September is? What September? September? What do you what's your goal? Oh? My goal is to organize my toy room, my garage. It's a mass, yes, um, but I literally will buy ruthless aggression guys on the road if we hit these like shops, and most time he goes I don't even know if I have this or not, but I'm just gonna go too nervous, like it's too good to pass up Linkum, But I know for I don't exactly know everyone I need or don't need, but there's some I know I definitely need, and those are the ones I'll look for on eBay. So I got this week the Edge and Mick Foley two pack with the Hardcore title and from the Mania match. Well, Edge is kind of like that Mania match. Foley is not like that Mania match. Yeah, okay um. I also like that open shirt, yes, yes um. I also got Renee not not Renee Young, Renee Duprie, Kenzo Suzuki and Fifi Good Dog. Good price, I'm pretty good price. Yeah, I'm in the package this Maybe this is before the pod or I remember thinking that Renee and Kenza was so rare and then I saw it and it was like not very affordable. I couldn't I couldn't believe it. Um. Also, speaking of Jack's Class Superstars, I got an unreleased sensational Sherry She was supposed to be in a three pack with El Matador, Tito Santana and Shawn Michaels. Now they made a very moo Shawn Michaels and a very similar Sherry you got a booger? That blew my mind, right Wrestle Media, Sam. I've seen that eight eight, and I've seen that match so many times, and I know that moment, but I never read his lips and realized that. Anyway, Rowski found on Instagram like a little like gift of that man wrestle botch. Right before it starts, there's a face off, and Sean walks away and like rubs his nose and he does it all arrogantly. But right at the face off, Tito goes, you have a booger, and he mouths it to him, and then like they put you have a booger, and they put it the text at the bottom, and you like and it's timed and you're like, oh my god, that's definitely what he says. And then Sean spins away and he's definitely getting a booger amazoes before his Wrestle Media match. Right, So it's supposed to be a three pack depicting that match. Like I said, they made a similar sean a similar sherry than they for the uh the lux class SUPs was they made Almattador, but not for the regular. So I got this unreleased sherry. I got it from Dwayne Jamie and Easton Price and Prices Collectibles in Newing, New Jersey. I want to say thank you very much. I think you got some TENA guys from them last week. See you in New Jersey. You're in Kentucky takes shot. Yeah, I do that from the top of my head. I'm not breading your notes. Also, we could we couldn't do this anniversary pod without talking about how much I want to lick Jeremy Padowars bleep that Mark and I want to like get like Ato pop after this week when he set me. Mike canceled unreleased Micromaniacs, Zach Ryder one of one hand painted hand paint. Oh baby doing the l I I grabbed those. I didn't. Oh. I also have to Macho Man Michael manas from Ringside that talk about that last week. I don't think so well. I got it from Residins. We said, okay, I grabbed well, I didn't grab it. Mackenzie grabbed uh, Ron Drowsy and Alexa Bliss of those when we were walking around. Yeah, I can't. I can't believe how it was small. They are so like rumblers. Yeah, smaller, I think a little smaller. Yeah, I was blown away. But Jeremy, he didn't have to do that. But that's cool. Allah like he used to do back in the day. He sent us out prototypes. Uh. And it's it's cool because the Treacher's Trios that I unboxed review on our YouTube channel, I have the prototype to that. Well, you have yours, I have of mine and I show it on the YouTube channel. So Jeremy, thank you very much for that. It's it's so cool because this was a canceled item. It's not gonna come out, and Jeremy like knows I want it. He knows like I'm not selling you or anything. I want it from my personal queestion and things like that should be in the hands of people who deserve them, you know. And it will follow from last week. I hope Bill mckeena is sending Matt Hardy that ultimate deletion. He should absolutely should guilt because you know, there's more than one. I feel like there's cases of them, but I agree, Um, now you tell your story, brother, sure. Um. So obviously I watch Kurt Hawkins items on eBay like a hawk. I have alert like a hawk. Let see what you did there. I didn't mean to do that, um, but yeah, I watched things like a hawk on there, and I'm very aware of everything. And then I want to say, like ten days ago in our Patreon Facebook group, somebody posted, oh, just one whatever Kurt Hawkins autographed tops card with piece of his shirt, and I was like, are usual way? What? And then let's just back up for a second. That's what I love about this Facebook Patreon group that we're learning from our fans. Yeah, of course, it's it's incredible, and we're interacting, we're selling stuff. I've sold some things personally, they're telling us what we need, they're giving us alerts. It's it's amazing. But I'm literally like, what what is this? Like? How do I not know about this? Or uh? And then the other thing that's funny about it, the person wrote, oh my god is and now I have both you my other my last autograph card, which is two thousand and ten, and he goes his autograph hasn't changed a bit blah blah blah blah, and it was all just I was just going, what the heck? And I'm like, I know for a fact that I have not signed for TOPS since I've been back, or since then even thousand and ten. So I was just so baffled. I had to the point where I had to ask people in the office, like, how is this possible? Like this guy? And I think the one that was posted was a one of twenty five, and then since then ones of five have come up. Um, so then I and now I am stalking anybody even more alertally, and another one pops up. But I have to like best off, for Dave, for Dago, to get my own card, broly do all the times. I know. That's why now when Top sends me something, I just did a lot of it. I just didn't think it was possible. I didn't think Tops we basically I found out I got to the uh, the root of it. They still had the sticker sheet that I banged out. Whatever you signed, like you said, hundreds of thousands, I remember being a lot. But they had at least thirty to make these thirty cards, right, And I think that's all there is in a set that we're not even in the set, but not even the basic We're not in the basic mind of the set. But we have these inserts where you as well have a signed one with your T shirt. So I have one, uh where it's signed with the T shirt and then like with the T shirt but not signed. Maybe that's no, no, because definitely I don't want to go if that first one that guy posted, no I have I have both. Oh, okay, you know what I'm saying, Yeah, I have something. Remember what I was saying to you both, I was saying these look identical. Yeah, it's because like one sign one's not. Okay, So maybe I do you think I have a non signed one that I have to be able to look out for. I don't know, crazy, I'm blown away, But anyway, I spent a significant amount of money to buy my own card that I didn't know existed that I can believe that I signed almost ten years ago. Well, speaking of significant amount of money and a little uh call back to your LJN's, I got an LJAN that you definitely don't have. Oh baby, let's let's see. This is the grand Finale of Grand Finale his name? Okay, can I before you start this. Yes, I think one of the wildly under I don't want to say underrated things about this show. Something like that I'm trying to say underappreciated. Maybe is how many things in this past year of we uncovered uncovered like it's unbelieved, articulated orange cards, ECW psychopath psychopaths about these toys. And I prove it in that he's episode literally obsessed to the where you there's no way if you told me a year ago that we'd uncover something like, no way unless it was a pre production thing or something we found that no news new Jack and cause like sure, all this hysteria in my collecting life and it's I appreciate it, it's great, it makes it fun, but I can't believe it. I mean, I found the tug boat two up and now we have Tugboat Guy. We've we have a character on the show based off a figure I bought from him, actually got unreleased El Jane Bendy. Some talk about Guy or LANs with articulation, right, Um so when I bought those Ljans with articulation, I was dealing with someone He does not want to be known. He's a former Ljan employee, That's all I will say. And he had a large quantity of uh of figures H l Jan preproduction uh prototypes. Now, some were hand painted, some were not painted at all. Like I got the naked Elizabeth. I don't understand why I needed it, but uh, but a lot of these figures, like some of them, um like are slightly different, like like any prototype, like the deck goes a little different color wise. So but yeah, it's to be expected, right. So nothing that really shocked me, you know what I'm saying. A couple obviously, the articulation, The articulated figure shocked me. The naked Elizabeth shocked me. Just shocked me too. But uh, keep that EAC three figure. Yeah, yeah, no hair, no player who I think that was something I was gonna be said four times now. But when I saw his pictures, he had a Killer Khan who obviously unreleased, not in the lineup, wasn't even rumored that I knew about. He had the wax figure of it now like the arm was broken off and like the fingers were cracked up and he had no leg, but it was clearly there now for me, Like I didn't really want to make an offer on it because he had no leg, Like even if he found the leg, it was all broken. Still pretty cool though, Yeah, but like I knew he wanted big, big, big, big bucks for you're uncovering something though, right and if that's all there is, then that's all there is, you know, right? Um? But I'm like, you know what it's I was never First of all, I don't full disclosure. I don't really remember Killer Khan being in WWF Wrestling Psychopath. I don't. I have like nothing to say, right. Yeah. He also had his little hat like this is legit and like you know, it's not a customer anything like that. So time went by tim and bye, and he told me about this idea. Well, first of all, he had a few ideas, like because these these prototypes were I assume like in his garage or basement and they were like scratched up. He's like, hey, what if I get one of my old LJ and friends to like repaint these, Like, no, do not touch these up. These are like right, it's like if someone were to repaint the Mona Lisa or something, you know what I'm saying. So I said, absolutely, do not do that. But he came to me and said, hey, well, what if I can get the old LJN team together, a couple of guys who worked with me at LGM, we can fix this wax killer Kahn. Remold it in the same way they made lj and prototypes and make five of them, number them, label on the bottom one of one, one of two or you know what I'm saying, yeah, or I'm sorry, one of five, two or five and get one of the Old Jane guys to paint it. Would you be interested as inside me, because that's the that's the closest I'm gonna get to this figure. I agree. Now is it a custom? I guess it's up for debate. Though it's it's technically a custom El Jane guys are making, it's still technically a custom. It's in the same it's the exact mold of the figure that was, but it's still technically a custom. It's not it's not officially it's technically custom. I know, I know, but that's man. That's definitely like. I posted a quit a quick picture on their Instagram story because I wasn't even sure if I was allowed to share this, but I already shared it on the Instagram story, so it's probably gone by now, like this is this is the production process. It's pretty damn interesting. What how did they go with the coloring? I guess it's never painted. I guess they use like reference photos. And there's that card. Yeah, okay, so it's highly detailed. It's incredible. It looks just like an algebl It's so cool. I'm blown away by this. And it was a little pricey um, and even I thought, like, as I was getting it first, I was on the fence abound, do I really need this custom? Then I'm like, I knew my guy Jim Rose was getting one. Well, if Jim Rose get one, I know I need one. Yeah, and already I've had offers for it. Okay, So I got a couple of questions there. I want to read you the CA I got. Can I read that to you? Sure? Before I ask? Yeah? So the CoA, of course, this guy's a professional, made a CA for this, and I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna not say his name. He doesn't want to be named, but his name is included on the CoA. Okay, um, okay, I'll call him Mark Bushy. Okay, let me call him silver Balls. Um, now, let me call him something funnier. What can we call him? I don't know. We'll call him this special edition Killer con three of five? Okay, I have three or five. I'm also gonna read very very slowly so I don't stutter. People will get drunk. Yes. Made in July twenty nineteen, is a hand painted prototype molded from the original wax Killer configure sculpted in nineteen eighty eight for LJN Toys as part of the WWF Wrestling Superstars line and cast in the traditional method done for all of the LJN figures from nineteen eighty five to nineteen eighty eight. Killer Khan was intended to be part of the Series five collection, but was never completed and never went into production. The shot the original wax sculpting has been in the sole possession of Blank since nineteen eighty eight. Silver Balls Johnny Geronimo Blank was the product design manager for the LJN WWF Wrestling Superstars line of toys between nineteen eighty five and nineteen eighty eight, and was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the creating, posing, sculpting, casting, model making, paymaster, etc. Of all WWF wrestling Superscos toys created between nineteen eighty five and nineteen eighty eight from their initial concept to license or approval to factor production of retail goods. So it's signed by him. It has the picture of the bottom of the foot set in three to five and when the guy was making those custom rhythm and blues great Balentine's I want him to do something like this a little a little stamp. I do agree with that. Yeah. Um, how about Killer kna is still alive and he's seventy two years old? What I love is I posted this and I think Bill was trying to say it was like fake bills, like Killer Conn war boots, and I said, not in WWF man anyway. Okay, Can I ask my questions? Yes? Uh? Okay? One who has the legit broken prototype? Blank? Okay? Where is one? Two, four and five? I know Jim Rose has one, another LJAN collector. I don't know who has the other ones, Okay, but I know they're they're gone. Yes, because someone tried to buy this already for me. Wow. So so you think this team of LJ and people that made this knew other diehards like you, and they contact them and just got rid of all five. Yes, because the Blank, who does not want to be named, he has all this stuff, but he doesn't you know how it is. We get bombarded all the time on like Instagram, blah blah blah, like people will come after you for stuff, especially with like lowball offers. And this guy doesn't want to get bombarded. So he's only dealing with like professionals who he would trust and he can deal. That makes sense. And then and I think he's no intentions that it's over. There's no intentions to make another batch, and I certainly hope not. I'd be pretty pissed off. Yeah, that's true. I mean there's no guarantee, I guess, yeah, but I have a crazy thing. Yeah. And it's great. The hats removable obviously, and it looks amazing. It looks just why you like if the original San Francisco toymakers guys offered to like complete a road kill for me or something. Right. Yeah, But what I was gonna say is, Okay, so there's this wax killer kan out there. Is there a wax brother Love? Is there a wax We've had this guy Blank stopped working for all jan in eighty eight yeah. Oh so he didn't even doesn't even have those answers. Yes, that's very interesting. Yeah, we could ask Bruce Richard and get a fake BST to answer tomorrow if you want me do that kill some time. Yeah. Um, so that's it for weekly purchases. And I know that first of all, I don't even want to tell you how much I've spent all weekly purchases all year. I don't know. Let's not letter left unset on that or thought of that. All right, shallow, I'm Tommy boy from Massachusetts here, and I just wanted to wish Matt and Brian a very happy when you anniversary of the podcast. I was thinking about, see, we have to go get squashed by the Viking raiders, so we should probably go. I don't like your negativity, all right, guys, so let's let's not end this episode right right now. Let's let's keep it going a little bit. Um. Obviously, there's no more bone crunchers to talk about. Maybe later on we'll do the sub series. I guess you want to call him sub series? That what you call him sub series? You know, like the two Tass and stuff like that. Is that a sub series? We got do eventually, but for now, we'll just we'll continue this episode with a little Q and A. We went to you guys on Patreon. Um, so we're gonna just answer some rapid fire questions. Um, okay, here we go. This from Jerry Ward. What's the one figure accessory or merch that you have gotten rid of that you still haven't been able to replace anything that you've sold that you can't buy back yet? Good question? Why? I mean, both of us, we didn't like we got rid of garbage. I wouldn't say garbage, but we didn't go full David c Anderson like loose kr and fire, so like we kept our hats. You know, might have all my originally guys that I had like as a right right, Um, so like things like that. I have all my bone crunches even as a kid, and they're all in like good condition because I was so nuts. So I sold all my ruth as aggressions. I'm trying to buy some of them back. So I haven't gotten those back, but not because it's super hard, whause I haven't really been trying that hard. Um, you know what I'm saying, If that makes sense, I think, and it's probably not a great answer, but right now, it would be re getting all these TENA toilets guys that I at one point have everything, so uh and it's hard stay together and it's not easy, and it's it's not inexpensive either, so it's kind of I think for me, I'm gonna go shirts. There's this Brett Hart shirt that I had as a kid. It's when he finally becomes them the ww champion. Well not finally, but it's a shirt where he has like it has him. I can't even describe it. He's has all the titles on him and it shows all these different title rings. I don't even know when it came out, maybe like ninety six ninety seven ish, and I had it as a kid, but then I tried cutting the sleeves off and I ruined it. And then years later, you know this story, I bought it and I of course I washed it. It's like one of my first episodes. Yeah, and then it disintegrated. Yeah. Um, so it has to be a ninety six style shirt. And just to rehash, I bought Mackenzie like a met vintage Mets like Alfait was like little baby shorts and shirt and it was like Mike Piazza, and I thought it was the coolest thing, right, And I got off eBay washed it four and it had it was the same thing, like literally to the touch, it like would evaporate in your hand if it was washed. So I don't know what the heck that is or how that happens. Um, yeah, so I don't do you know what shirt I'm talking about? The bread heart shirt. Um, I'm trying to find it on this situation and whatnot, but I don't recall exactly. I'm gonna put it in the old eBay machine, Bret Hart shirt. I'll go to the probably highest price because it's definitely up there, I think. For there's there's one up there thinking an excel and the reason you want is because you had it as a kid, right, And I'm trying to get all those shirts back. There's also this razor a Moan shirt that I'm looking for. It's like, all it's just a picture of him and he's all yellow. I can't even find this bread hard shirt to describe it should have been more properly prepared. But hey, that's what we're doing with these rapid fire questions. We're just doing it off the Cuffsky. I can't even find this thread the questions. It's tough. I have it right here here. So this this is another question from Jamie Ogden, very similar to the question we just talked about. What makes you decide to sell off parts of your collection and what generally inspires you to rebuy. So we said it before, like when Jack's lost the license for me, I'm like that. I was like, oh, you get everything I just bought for years, It's done. So I didn't sell the bone Crunchers, but I got rid of I rid of the Titan Trons. I got rid of the R three He's. I got rid of the finishing moves, the final counts, the maximum sweats, the ruthless aggression, the luxe aggression, Class superstars. I got rid of them all. And I had no intentions of collecting anymore. I wasn't gonna collect with tels until I saw them and I was like, God, damn, these elites are so nice. And I just kept going and I try to convince you to do it with me, but you didn't pick up for years later. Well, I was offended that there was no Zach Ryder, so I kind of boycotted Mattel. Yeah, and then eventually I got the zach Ryders and then eventually I broke down and out. I only get the legends and the flashbacks. But do you trickle into like friends and things, you know? Yeah, I mean there's no there there's no denying. There's tons of things. Yeah. Oh yeah, there's no denying that Mattel's not the best slammobile. I do have a slam I do have that. So that answers the question because for me, like now, buying these class superstars back and the aggression back is because now they're nostalgic to me. Yeah, so that's why I'm buying. That's the problem. You can't predict it when you get rid of it, how are you going to feel about it years from now? So that's the big risk you're taking. And there's so many things that I bought through this podcast. I bought back for the second or third time, and now I'm like, do I really need this? And I'm like, you know what, matt just you're not selling it. Just keep it, keep it in a tote, Keep it in a tote. Um, okay, this is a funny one. Um, hardy heft. If you knew each other back when you were younger and had to book a figure fed together. Who would have been your champions and feuds? That's very interesting because, like, I guess that'd be a we'd be the booking committee. Sure we going bone crunchers here, I gotta go a bow country, Yeah, because because that'd be the time when playing with was just dumb. I mean we did meet while we still played with toys. We're eighteen, were play So I guess I guess it'd be Digression secret secretly playing with Aggression guy. Uh. I don't know if I'm we you know, we're very different. That's why this podcast works. I think I don't know if we could. Uh, it's it's it's hard enough to get this podcast to question how could we even? I don't think we'd decide on champions. We have different styles, you know. I'm sure you would be just Billy Gunn on top, like crazy Billy Gone on top, Billy Gunn on top, maybe test Ic Channel, Oh my god, not in my fed. Who do you have? I don't know who that would? Well, how about this, here's a good question. So I I've said that I've used uh Danny from Last Action hero to be Matt Cardona the president, if you were gonna be the co president Brian Myers, what toy out there in history would represent a young Brian Myers. Well, there's no real one because I didn't do that. But fantasizing for fantasizing, Let's say, do you think of something funny? Um, I don't really know what you look like as a kid. I mean I kind of do, But you didn't have the hair like I did. Did you ever have for a while everyone in the bowl cut the Jonathan Taylor Thomas hair. Yea, so to Danny's just a little customization I used to. This is very weird if I can google it super quick. I collected James Bond junior figures when I was a kid. Okay, are you familiar at all? I know what it is. I didn't play with them. And there's one guy and I can't remember his name, but he would He could probably fit the bill. I'm thinking of it right now and then I'll get this and everyone can google it. It is this guy. Oh yeah, this is perfect Gordo lighter. That could be me. That could hold on. I think I need to buy this guy at eBay. Gordo Lighter. See what's his name? Gordo Gordo Jameson Junior. There was a cartoon. I liked it. I got into the James Bond movies for a while when I was a kid. I thought that, you know, they are pretty timeless. They're cool. Oh right now, best offer, aud eBay, make up a four to nine best offer. I'm gonna go to fifty. You need to get one. Maybe. I definitely had it when I was again, I have a whole set at one point I loved them. But the pink shorts. Yeah, let's because of the skateboards. Would be mad if you're taller than me, Oh, that would be awesome. Um, all right, that was a great That was a great question. Um. Okay, Seth Merritt says, what SDCC reveal were you most excited for and which you see maybe not seeing the light of day O tough evil question I'm most excited for. Um. I can answer that with one answer. What's that the Natty? It's already been canceled, okay, and I'm very excited proved one. It's a little different, okay. Either way, there's so many elite female wrestling figures now and I think it's kind of ridiculous that like, pretty much like the first lady of the roster hasn't had an elite and she's and I'm we're completely biased because she's like our good friend and known her for years. So I would love to have Elite Natty, and it's already been canceled, and I'm going to assume that, you know, maybe whatever's going on, she gets screwed again. I think my favorite one that I'm looking forward to is maybe the Christian Brood. See, I'm looking forward to that Christian for sure. And and what's not gonna get released? I mean, who's to say that. I didn't want to predict anything, but I'm just saying that Natty's already been canceled, So like that's a layup to say. But I wouldn't want to look look forward to something. I don't want anything to terrible terrible attitude. Yeah, I'm not even gonna put that negativity into the world because I don't want anything to be canceled. I want everything to come out A good question, though, Scott Yeager says Dream Podcast guests from a figure perspective, and why I've said from day one, slowly grail of interviews, and I would love to just shoot with him and talk about the inception of the Ljan line at the time, you know, what the thought was behind it and stuff, and the business model and maybe any you know, little anecdotes that he remembers, because I feel like when people get the chance to interview with sickman, that's not something they bring up. So and we would that's an obvious one. Also, of course, we keep saying we want to get Jeremy Padour and as much as we give him, I'd love to interview Bill McKenna. Yeah, and not a Mark, not a Mark interview like Sam Roberts, like really asking the heart to him a questions, but I also want to learn about his journey. Loves great The dude loves a great Bill. I haven't seen it and I don't own it, but it's a great figure. Um okay, Tommy, I'm sorry. Tony Lewandowski he posted a picture of the Ring Giant Batista and said how big is Ring Giant Patissa? Is Dick pretty bigger? That's twenty four figure. It's a big figure. I can only assume it's to scale. Yes, to scale, so it's under those blue trunks under the blue. There was many ring giants, but he says, I'm sure repainted ring Giants is a little underrated. Set Ski, I think some of those are pretty cool. I have some of the classic ones. We were just at a store that had a lot, right, men in box ring Giants, Emonmrigan Okay, double question, Brian, what is the one figure mats collection you want the most? And same vice versa question. I think we discussed last What did I pick? I don't know. I think I would want your I don't even know. You have some great stuff that I don't have. But um, your WCW Galube luger, the twelve inch I don't even know if I have that. No sting. You just have sting? Right? Did you get fair too? I think I just have sting. Um, so I'll add that luger to the mix. You know what, No I change it. I want your one of one Kurt Hawkins Ghost Bust. I think Bruski is kind of subtly hinted at that that he wants that for me about about three times now. Um, that's so, I obviously would want your Greg the good looking Greg Prototype Rhythm and Blues. Okay, um at this point, Oh man, I would love your Brett or Taker mail away in the bags, and I would love just your black strap Andrew, so I can complete my LJ and collection. Um, that would be a simple that's that's a simple, simple, simple one. Okay. Um, A lot of people asking repeats, So here we go. Okay, Zach Webb, what is one figure or set that has been canceled at both of you all want to see come to production minus retros? Hollywood Hogan, uh, Elite, So one something that's been canceled that we want that we've seen that would be nice to round out a collection. I feel like that's definitely a missing character that was on the table. And when it's Hollywood Hogan saying that, it's a pretty big name, I think who was like a major that was canceled? Hooven too ruthless aggression. Yeah, like yeah, I think the probably that that that Hollywood version of Hulk is probably the biggest missing piece. You know, everyone else is just kind of supporting character type guys. I guess, So I guess there's no one else that they've like Wendy Richter. Yeah, but I would like it, but I can live without it, Like Hollywood. Hogan's pretty like you need especially there's so many nWo in late nineties WCW guys in the Elite collection, you know it would really fit rather nicely. Gotcha? Um, Okay, let's see here. Zachary Allen with Funko creating movie moment pops recreating a specific scene from a movie. Do you think a wrestling moment popps would work? If so, which match would you like to see in pop form? I would love to see a Hogan versus rock stair down in pop forn. Have you ever seen these movie moments? No, I was just gonnas. So they're kind of like they're two pops, but like they're not more particularly but more detailed. Like the arms are doing something and it's like a Mowana one and there was that target and we looked at it. Yes, um, I actually like it. But the problem is for me, like, for instance, if I have uh Luke and Darth Vader like doing something like just standing, I don't need the cool moment and they don't come off you know what I'm saying, don't come so like here's an example of like the school Ghostbuster one where they are like slimer like slime and slimer. That's pretty cool. No, No, they're really cool. Big difference because you can't really pose a pop as I'm learning as i'm collection, Like, for instance, look here's Han solo and Greed. Okay, now I already have regular Han and regular GREEDO. Do I need this? I think so, because that's way cooler. I disagree that that's I think the one you just said is a great idea. The Hogan Rock. I just think Hogan uh Andre like the slam test of strength. That's what I was going to say, Um Brett Sean and a sharp shooter, yeah, or even just the stair down like with the rep holding the title or yeah, and then John Coe would have to get it. Yeah. I think a lot of potential that so much that becomes a reality. Actually, Um okay, Landing bum Garner, you get to help design the next Ringside collectible exclusive one modern and one flashback. Who do you pick? All right, brosk, just give it to him. I'm not gonna say the Edge thing. Mine would be one of you from Mania and then flashback we restuming X seven vents. I've said it before. I think there should be an Edge figure with his edge heads. Uh hawk is a writer of removable head So you can buy one or three, but I'm not gonna say that. So one current and one retro um the fiend, I mean, that's yeah, but that's gonna be out. I would want them to go to the route like they did the jacks, like someone who would normally come out, you know what I'm saying. So I would like a Mike Cannellis and Maria Cannellis. I was gonna say two pack a Drake Maverick with the belt and like his ring his new ring gear. I'm gonna say cannell Mike and Maria Canell's two pack with the twenty four seven title the other way to Drake Maverick. Okay. And as for Bud As for a throwback, I would love to see a good old chainsaw, Charlie. How about somebody's work walking around these halls lately? Metem back? I still want like a ninety seven It's sleazy easy w cw Ark Bishof with leather jacket nWo jacket shirt underneath. Are Van Rose this for you? Brian Myers? Is there all answer it too? Is there anyone from ECW that you wish San Francisco, Tornmakers Mate. We've talked about this, recovered this plenty of times. Obviously we saw that Roadkill was on the table, so obviously I'd love that and the Danny Doring to go with it. I kind of feel like the two guys that really got screwed on that set that should have been in where Spike Dudley and Mikey Whipwreck for sure. I definitely want to my TV like the whole time, pretty much pretty and pretty like prominent roles too. I would love that. Uh. I think that's about it. I think those are the ones that really really stick out to me. I mean I think for sure, Mikey Doring and Roadkill for sure. Yeah, Spike did Spike. It's like working awesome for the title, Like for a good point um portion of that whole time those figures are out. This is from Elizabeth Most Overrated, most overrated figure sought after in collector Circles hard Mode pick one from LJ and Hasbro Jackson Modern Elites Overrated. I mean like a mailaway bread, a mail away taker. I mean, there you go. I mean those figures suck. Very rare figures that technically suck. There's nothing special about them, right, Umret's like a inaccurate figure in a bag and the Undertaker. Yeah, the Hogan's great because it's different. Rustuman and nine win the title saving Brett. Yeah, Warrior Warrior, I'm sorry, Warrior Brett sucks. It's like a less detailed number. You know, it's a number one, like number two had already comeut the number two to recommend. And it's a nice favorite figure. So Ljan someone hits like maybe like a bearded corporal Kirshner, like who cares? Like? Who cares? Um, It's hard to answer for every other toy line, but I think you nailed on the head with that. Hasbro. Mayloways um okay band at Montoya no relation to Eldo. I don't think if you and Kurt could pick one figure that defines your whole childhood, what would it be? The Rockers Hasbros. I think, um, they're my favorite team. I thought they were so cool, it was so important for me to get those they I just I don't know, I just think of being a little kid with those. I would have to say, uh, Hogan and Macho l Jan like, that's those are my my favorites. Hogan definitely my favorite as a little little kid. Eventually, Macho Man and those ljns are just iconic, iconic figures, and I still think they hold up. And Macho Man was in the Macho Man make the Hall of Fame this year, Yes, so I'm hoping Hogan goes in next year. We totally forgot about the major Hall of Fame in our recap out the one year. Damn it um. Okay, this is from Sean Rogers. If Mottel came out with a w W E unreleased line figures that they have not released yet, who love be in it? I love it? A lot of these questions are derived from Mattel's cancelation, stop canceling. Um, guys who w CW have not made Jeff Jarrett slop hoods, slap nuts, Eric Bshof. As we said already today, this this fantasy, Big Papa Pump, that'd be a dream. Um, I would love bagwell buff daddy. Um, that's some good ones right there. Uh, there's no Kurt hennigg like representing that. There's no bread heart. There's no bread heart representing that time. There are some good ones right there, Hollywood, Hogan. Yeah, of course we can't forget Hollywood. Um, that's a great question. All right, we got more here. Um, John d Elina beards, how do you trim them and line them up? Wow? Good, great question. Well, as of recently, we have the Maestro's backstage. Um, it's kind of game changing. They were coming a lot more frequently. Now they only come pay per view weekends. So if you pay close attention to w W Superstars on pay per view weekends, they're going to be their most well kept. Um. I have two guys in Long Island. Bride Biz is my main go to cut my hair for a year. It's just really the only one I trust to cut the hair on the top of my head. He'll like trim it and layer it every couple of months. Yeah. I mean I can do my beard with a razor, but it's never as good as doing it. Yeah. There's a barbershop I go here right by my Walmart and La Fitness usually bang out all three the Triple Threat Barbershop, Walmart, Wow, Jim all in that La Fitness parking lot. Yeah. And then I have another guy named Mike. It was close or to my house. That Deluxe cuts who I like to hit two. He's very good. But there's a lot more work that goes into a beard than people think. You don't just have it. And if you have it, if you get a groom to see the difference, you kind of like, oh God, I have to keep doing this because it looks so much better. And I'm so Harry than you have, like a Harper beard, and I'm so Harry that I get the hair like right under my eyeballs and like on my neck. Harry. Harry's man I've never met, So I got to clean that up, not necessarily where I need to be, Harry, though, you know what I'm saying. Oh Gay, Okay, we all know Michael. We all know Matthew cart Is from Oh my God, David Sirianni. We all know Matthew Cardona is a Michael Jordan of wrestling we're collecting. But is there a baseball player that Brian Myers is a wrestling collecting um? And then John de Lana said, Kirby Bucket, Kurbye, there's a Kirby Pucket statue outside the stadium that I'm going to tonight. I'm gonna get a picture in front of um. Hmm, let's see my one of my favorite players growing up was Joe mckewing, and he was a utility player of the Mets. You know what the utility players. No, he's a guy that can play any position at any time. So that that's how I see myself in the collecting world. I can I dabble in everything and um as far as pro wrestling action figures go, and I can, you know, not give you some knowledge on anything or any line ever. And I am pretty h astute and all of it. And I'm a jack of all trade. So there you go. I'm a utility player, a star utility player. All right, that's a I understand that this is from Michael Scarnadi. If TAZ finally signed a Legends deal with WW what elite would you want? First? The human superblux bean or are in prison jumpsuit? Easy machine, come on, easy, don't even have to make the jumpsuit whatever. No, was so disappointing, Uh, Scott Yeager, can each of you name pick one foam finger style arena item that was never made that you wish was You're not really a foam guy, I'm not, and the only ye but to recently when you show me that ECW had them, where I had that little bit of a niche like going a crap, do I need this? Which still not sure about that. I might. I'm a big foam guy, especially like uh, not quite the attitude there. But like the two thousand and one two thousand two they made some weird foam fingers. I always wanted them to make a foam h Eddie Guerrero Rose like Eddie and China Mamasita pretty cool, but they never did that obviously. Um And if you want to go like back in the day, I mean like I want to foam. He's Slater guitar for the One Man Rock band. I've a foam Jeff Jarrett slap Dar signed by Mike Awesome and Medasia. I was at that same signing. That's so scary. That was just upstairs haways in Nitro. But I have like a really nice Mike Awesome epy ten from that. You don't have that. It's probably extra money. I probably it was like this. Really it's like the color apy ten right, Yeah, like the ones that we have with like the the hologram in the corner. Yes, James Jackson, has there ever been a figure you've dreamed about finding in store that never existed, but you really wanted Mine always seemed to be a fourth Hasbro crush and is russelming a ten outfit? M Well, I think the crush they made at the Green Card it's very similar to that job done. Um. I mean I always wanted a tug boat, which I later found and I've talked about it on the unboxing that I heard rumors, but it was just people not knowing the difference. And I remember being at the Toys of Russ and some employee saying, oh, we have tug boat in the back. I was like, while you have tug boat and they brought out Typhoon. I was so bummed out. So tugboat is definitely one of them. I mean we eventually got it. But and this is back to the how obsessed I was with the Rockers, Like when they broke up, I wanted like different of them, so like to finally make the heartbreak kids Sewan and the and the Marty singles run Rockers was like a big deal for me. This kid, I just felt like forever the weight for that, you know, right, Ashton Kutcher, thanks kidding, Ashton, decent. What figures have you come across and regret not buying at the time. M. That's a big M. I was like, what I'm looking for even on eBay? There are some things that like, I mean, if I ten years ago decided to just scoop up mail away hogans in the bag and then sold them now, right, how much money would have made? Right? For sure? Regrets like that, Like I could have pieced together this LJAN collection I'm doing right now. This is a kind of recent regret, but it works. Someone contacted us on our major pod email and said they had a Ultimate Warrior Resident LGN prototype. They give me picks, they give me a price, and they're like, we're about to puss on eBay, but we'll sell to you for this blah blah Blah'm like listening. Too rich for my blood. I passed it along to another LJNU super fan who ended up getting it and got it for more than half the price. Well, if that was an option, I would have got it. Well, this is a story that you've told me, and I said to you in private about this. I feel like the person is selling it didn't truly want you to have it, but they contacted us. I know it doesn't make any sense. How would they know that I have LJ and friends that I can just hook them up with. You know what I'm saying. Okay, there's gonna be some repeat. A lot of people ask a lot of questions, which is fine. Scott Yeager again, what's one wrestler under a Legends deal that has a presctitious gimmick, A precious, precious gimmick you'd like to see done as a figure? I think I just talked about the Ring Side collectible exclusive Chase Charlie. Yeah, I would love that. Um, that's like or that could be like a comic com one. I think that'd be cool. I also think we need a Jerry Lawler like as an announcer, like ninety four ninety five style style whatever you like. Why don't we have that? It's a layup. Yeah, there's so many like that. I think I think we like, for instance, we finally get the Christian um this row. We should get an M to the A to the b el like men on a Mission Mabel. I think, yeah, UM really wanted that, and it's retro form. But I think to your point, we could do a w c W. Mister w c W. Brett Hart. Yeah, there's so many options. And that's what's so great about Mattel is that they have the potential to do all these things. Let's let's bang them out. And we saw that this year with the Vista and the Brute Christian. So we're gonna get something now that the booker t Chin. Well, China's brand new. I'm just saying that there's gonna be a lot of incarnations of dominations with China. Um Joe I ed. Why is the boot to go to place to hide random locker room? Uh? Um my idea behind So we actually we're talking about this recently, the hiding stuff in someone's bag game. It only works if the person finds it later on your own. You don't want to You want to hide it good where they don't see you right away. But that's super good, but they'll never find it. So recently there was a certain item that I'll remain nameless that was being passed around and somebody hid it in the lining of someone's bag. So unless you're a psycho path that there's like some reason nobody's unpacking their bag each week down to the liner and feeling through it to find something. So that's like that's a say to play the game. It's got to be something you know in your I like the toilet tree kit. That's a good one. I like that. I mean the boot. It's just easy because if you have time to dick to guys stuff and get it in a toiletcut, that's good. Things like that. The boots just fast. And you know, if a guy has already worked and his boots are there, they knock the chance of them putting him back on a pretty slim So he put something in there and then the next day they finally go shit. And also, by the way, I put that Ricky Ortiz WTF vinyl figure in Gallo's boot this week. Yeah. Oh, I put in his sneaker actually, and I just happened to be getting another shower and I saw him power and addressed and he that thing's got that Carlito spiking there and he went to the moon. So it worked. Travis Jenkins, when you think back to when you were a kid and who your favorite russo was, did it change as the business did and as you got older. My favorite growing up as Bret Hart, But I was at the age when he was feeding with HBK where they go against the system, resonated for me, so stone cold was the icing on the cake. At resume of fourteen. That's a super great question, super easy question for me to answer as a little little kid. Hulkogan number one. Then as I was getting older and I thought Michaels and like the bad guys were cool, Shaw, Michaels became my favorite. And then, like you said, the anti authority Austin was definitely my favorite. But then when I realized, Okay, I'm really going to get into this business, and I was looking at it from a different take a shot on Patreon, a patrol shot We're in the bar actually, so we could. When I was looking at it from a different perspective, I was looking at guys who I thought I would look like if I when I got older in like five or six years, like Edge, Christian Jericho, and those guys became my favorite. Yeah. I mean even when I was really really little, I kind of always I don't know how or why, but I under somehow, I understood that the heels were doing their job by being heels, and I appreciated it. So I always kind of did like the bad guys a little bit more. And maybe I didn't know why. When I was younger, but I just did and then kind of similar to what you just said, I just thought guy's with long hair were so cool, and you know, I gravitated towards those guys. Danny TANCREDI if you guys weren't to tell creative, what would be the number one thing to change the most distribution problems? The length of time to get a new fig or lines we love being put on hiatus. Just a few examples that get negative reaction from fans. Distribution stuff like I've I didn't even know how to fix that. I wouldn't know. I did, like way out of our wheelhouse. But the one thing I don't understand is the time it takes to get a figure, the planning to to retail. Like I get it, and I don't get it. Like we were talking about this reason they like bone crunchers. They're pumping them out right, you know, eight months, seven months are on shelves from guy debut on TV. But it's like the quality of a bone cruncher. You're excited to get it because it's a new guy, but you look back on it, it's like, was Evan Alven's really that great figger? I mean, no, Mattel's are pumping out these elites that are like next level beautiful. So I do think there's a way to cut down the between Like I don't think. I think about it, like if they're planning it lines a year and a half in advance, how how relative and timely are the figures are gonna be when they come out, you know what I'm saying. And sometimes it works great, uh, like an NXC guy who's finally getting called up by the time it comes out, or sometimes it doesn't work where someone like friends like Aid in English, who's like killing it doing the roost of day stuff and then he comes out and he's already off TV. Yeah, So I mean, and that's the that's just the toy business. But if he were up to me, of course I'd want to speed up the time. And of course, you know, the retros, they're on hiatus long al than I We hope they come back. But at the end of the day, this is a line for kids and for collectors, So I think they need to find that happy balance and I think that they're working on that right now. So you know, let's just be positive that the retros will come back. He's got to keep them alive, their spirit alive, and hopefully you know all that positivity amounts to something. What do you think? One more question? Two more questions? All right, two more questions. Um, let's see here. Okay, us from Emon American. I think he already asked something, but that's fine. Don't you think the biggest oversight in wrestling for your history is the Tonga kid? Tomah the biggest oversight in history? Yeah? No, no, absolutely no. We've discussed so many guys who should have or could have gotten figures. Uh Glacier, Norman Smiley, the Big Wiggle himself. We talked about this the other day, build him out humors. Yeah, it's plenty of guys. I mean, EC three we interviewed this week is in wrestling fifteen sixteen years he just got his first figures. Well, now you're letting the people in know this. Q and a's a little old, sorry, folks. Spoiler podcasts aren't live a spoiler many of times in this past year. All right, and one last question before we go, Let's find a good one. Um, this is good from Rob Wilson. What is your favorite? So? What is your favorite non wrestling figure? Yeah? Probably a Mike Piazza starting lineup two thousand. Huh No. Now I collect a lot of different things, so I'm trying to rack my brain around it. What's the my favorite? The best? Um? I would have to say my favorite figure is the real Ghostbusters back in the day, the Slimer like the ninety eighty nine. No, it's like before eighty nine. It's like mid eighties. It comes like the pizza, like a watermelon. No going away over my head here. If I show it to you, you'll know, uh, real Ghostbusters Kenner. But like the Kenner is what I was thinking. It doesn't It was weird, like it doesn't look like Slimmer in the cartoon they later made that it kind of looks more like movie Slimer. But it's the real Ghostbusters. You definitely know it. Okay, Yeah, he's got the watermelon, the pizza and like some meme or eat food. Why come yes? Oh that you've never seen Ghostbusters? Who? I have no idea that the first scene of Slimer is they're in a hotel. We actually used to stay that hotel in LA for summer slams back in the day. Yeah, I know what you're talking about. The one with the mall in the back of it. More different one, I think a different one. Okay. Anyway, and that's where this is filmed. And they're like they're patrolling like the hallways of this hotel and they see like a room service car and just why is her? Oh my god, we gotta we gotta do that. Watch your spirit animal, that's why you're so hungry all the time when you're this is not an iconic figure. It looks I mean that does look vintage and cool. Yeah, but uh, what's really annoying about this? And it sucks for me? So a slimmer's host to fly. Uh so now you can't stand that. Now, all the figures they have like clear stands for slim understand, but this is like, yes to land his belly, but it's not a flat surface yea, so he kind of like you can you can balance him and getting like an extra one of those clear stands and flows them up. I've I've learned to balance them. Okay. So that's that's my answer to that. Great question. Great Q and a those ikea detail supportable except bucks, Yeah, very affordable. You have one eye about ten, but they're a lifesaver. I've convinced a couple of my fellow like collectors, like, hey, it looks cheap, it looks great, it looks good, it looks so good. Yeah, it's easier to the other two. I wouldn't go that far. We on time there almost twenty. We're fine for our to give people a little taste of what we're talking about. Yeah, it's gonna be all about wrestling. Like a new thing that we've kind of been talking about the past couple of days is wrestling T shirts, old school t shirts. Yeah. So we went to that wrestling for Sale pop up store in New York City and then we saw these old shirts and then made me go to my parents attic and find all my old shirts. I know you've been collecting some, by the way, we talked about it yesterday. So we went to this and I'm like, back to what I said, I'm extremely organized and like OCD. So like I left the house, they say, wearing a Summer Slam ninety eight Highway to Hell shirt that I bought at the event. My wife was like, you just knew where that was. I'm like, yeah, the you know, I had a ready to go And then I said to him like where's all your shirts? Oh man, they're my parents. Though I'll never be able to get to him. I'll never find him, they're so buried. And then a couple of hours later he sending me pictures. I'm like, really, however, yeah, I'll admit my mom went through the attic and got them out for me. Come on, it was too much, it was too messy, there was too many boxes. I told her what I was looking for, and she knew where the boxbus is. She moves because it's like Christmas ornaments in there and uh, Halloween decorations and stuff like that stuff. But she was able to get you know, what else is there? Like I'm not even getting hundreds and hundreds of purple Zach Rider sung glasses from the shop hundred because like I just was buying it where they were cheap. Oh, I'd like literally have hundreds. You used to like do that, like just buy anything up Kurt Hawkins just to have. But I demanate anymore. I just I don't know if anybody wants some purple Zach Rider or some guys like maybe do a little get away off from like some of my trading cards to hand out to like those Deluxe Aggressions, Jack Zach riders like they were. They were on sale at ringside ones and I think I got the whole. I still got Landy run I got rid of those. It's pretty quick. Yeah, but god, yeah, so we'll talk about everything. I mean we are. Let's talk about the Elite squad, w elite squad. We got a little bit of inside horse. I'm not gonna say we're the leaders. There's I would say a J's were the leaders. Well you know, there's Aj, there's Renee, there's Kathy Kelly. Um. I think we are the ones who are we were the top draft picks, I would hope. So, actually I heard it was supposed to be heat Slater, which is which? Which is? I don't think that's true. Maybe somebody just saw like a picture Broski joke. Oh yeah, maybe some picture of usn't thought it was the same guy. But I've been really trying to get away from the heat Slater. Mike Canellis and Buddy Murphy look alike comparison. So but yeah, so like being a part of the Elite Squad, we do get some upcoming news um before everyone else. We're not gonna spoil things here unless we're you know, given the green light for sure. And I just think this worried Bill Bills out there like sweating it out, relax wherever he's at, of course, but h I want to encourage people to listen to this, whether they're like a vintage collector, because we'll for sure get into playing that all the time. And if you're a modern day collector, you know, so it's a little bit for everybody. Yeah, we're definitely gonna, you know, go from Ljans to Mattel. We're gonna talk about everything, and which reminds me support the Mattel retro line. Oh my god, please, these things are my absolute favorite, and I feel like the fans aren't giving it enough love because the more love the fans give it, the more love Mattel will give. And it's guy's our age that need to support it because it's sentimental to us growing up and I don't love it and it's so similar. The ring is twenty bucks on Amazon. Look, it's amazing. Come out of this ring right now. It is. I just kiss the mic perfect. I don't know how that sounded, but I just kiss the mic because these figures are beautiful and I'm getting my own retro figure, so I'm a little biased. True, you're getting two elites, so that's that's kind of cool. I got a smile ear to ear a baby, you got that? What is that? That Chase Chase variants, which is very cool. Mattel's are from Chase variants this year. Uh. I won't be the first, I'll be the second. And that's what's cool about my tell you know, because I know we're it feels like we're kissing their butt right now, but honestly like they're the best figures of all time, which okay, if you guys won't proof of I was gonna tap out completely to collecting when like that two thousand and nine ten switch over, and then I saw the first set of Elites. I was like, huh, I bought him, took him the package up. There's another thing we left to get into. We open toys. Oh yeah, a lot loose collectors. But anyway, I took them out, and I know for a fact I told you, I said, look, man, these might be the greatest rescigers all the time. You're going to collect these and hard headed broth scrip here didn't do it for years. I was years and I'm telling him one time lost license. They're making these legends. They're un leave when Jackson's the license like it broke my heart life too. I had my long term girlfriend broke up with me. It was like a double women. Yeah, you know, because they were they were around his night ninety six over ten year. It was a big round. And then to tell me my collection was not going to continue. Yeah, oh my god. But diagraph the same way. But I just quickly got over it when I saw him, and I try to convince you, but you weren't hearing until ye years later. I've since gone back. I pieced together and spend a lot of money and doing stuff that he should have been doing. But they are incredible toys. So support the line, support the podcast, and uh yeah, and we'll keep this podcast family friendly so the kids can listen, you know, the kids who like your basics. Sure, let's do it. I'm not I'm not a basic guy. Posted that I'm trying not to curse anymore anyway, because I have a daughter. I do try not. I have two cats. You can curse round cats. True, true, that's probably fine. All right, folks, we are signing off we're gonna wrap it up for episode one, the pilot of um this podcast, hope you guys. So eventually they'll be like a little jingle right here. Yeah right, we don't think. But here's what I was thinking earlier. Are we going to have like an official like podcast Twitter? I think that's too much. We don't need that. Our twitters are so especially you are so big and popular, Like what what's the point? So keep like our twitters? Like, yeah, anytime you want information on the podcast, there's not gonna be like at the major wrestler on Instagram followed, we post pictures thirties and we're we're posting pictures of the action figures at least me on a weekly basis. Can I admit I'm so bad? Like so, we just had our good friend Pat Buck teach us out a podcasts. Pat, I appreciate shape bad a couple of minutes ago because I don't know anything about technology. I'm real bad. I don't play video games, I don't do anything to do Why that's what kids, bro like, You're way more tech savvy than me, Like I don't know anything. I mean, that's not saying much. I was telling Finn in the car. I was like, yeah, I can't run the Creative Pro Instagram because I don't want to be logging in and logging out and change the fasts and stuff. And he goes, dude, it's right there. It's a click. Like I didn't realize, like you can just like you can bounce back and forth between him without like signing in that I had no He blew my mind like something that at That's how far off I am anyway, you know it? None of that stuff. Um, yeah, we gotta we gotta come up with a little goodbye not today, Zigler later marks all right, MD it there, that's it, and that folks wraps it up for the five year anniversary special of sorts. It's not a special, just another episode of The Major Rewind. But it's not done yet. It's not over. We have more to come.
