WWE SmackDown Review: Jacob Fatu Destroys Solo, The Usos & Talla Tanga, Ricky Saints Debuts, Women's Tag Titles

<v Speaker 1>Let's get straight to it and review the SmackDown. The
<v Speaker 1>aired on the first of May from Tulsa, and we
<v Speaker 1>start off with Joe Tess welcoming us and telling us
<v Speaker 1>about the family drama we have at the moment in
<v Speaker 1>the Bloodline, and that brings a recap of Roman Fatou
<v Speaker 1>and the rest of the blood Mine, and a reminder
<v Speaker 1>that we have Roman Fatu confirmed at Backlash. We have
<v Speaker 1>our arrivals for this evening and we've got Brian Page.
<v Speaker 1>They're going to be facing the Irresistible Forces for a
<v Speaker 1>title match. And we've got Flair versus j C. Jane
<v Speaker 1>following last week's frankly awesome debut by Fatal Influence. We've
<v Speaker 1>got Sammy who is booed to hell on site. He's
<v Speaker 1>here and he's apparently going to be talking later. First
<v Speaker 1>out tonight, though, we have got QB one Cody and
<v Speaker 1>he gets an absolutely fantastic reception from Tolls the crowd,
<v Speaker 1>and he says it's nice when he can come out
<v Speaker 1>and provide new information. He says that he's got no
<v Speaker 1>information tonight. He says that he's met with the ww
<v Speaker 1>medical staff and they calls us to find out if
<v Speaker 1>he's medically cleared for action. He gives a massive, dramatic,
<v Speaker 1>very theatrical pause and the crowd doer Daniel Bryan yes
<v Speaker 1>chant and finally reveals that he is clear. He says
<v Speaker 1>that means what's next? And at that we get out.
<v Speaker 1>Ricky Saints a call up we were told about last week,
<v Speaker 1>and who I'll be honest, I've got absolutely no idea
<v Speaker 1>who he is, but to be honest, he looks no
<v Speaker 1>match for Cody anyway. The crowd don't seem that him
<v Speaker 1>to him either, But let's see where this goes. Debuts
<v Speaker 1>often can be a little bit tricky. He grabs a
<v Speaker 1>mic and he says to Cody, you boo what you
<v Speaker 1>don't understand? He says, he is the hottest free agent
<v Speaker 1>standing right in front of you. He says, if you
<v Speaker 1>don't know about me, you better ask. He says to
<v Speaker 1>Cody that they're no strangers to each other. He says
<v Speaker 1>he is sure Cody feels the change, and that's the
<v Speaker 1>revolution that he is leading. He says he is the
<v Speaker 1>revolution and he is the change, and he welcomes everyone
<v Speaker 1>to Friday Nights. Saints pretty much crickets here in Tulsa
<v Speaker 1>for that The crowd cheer for Cody, and he says
<v Speaker 1>he's glad to have him here. He says, that's a
<v Speaker 1>bold move. And what's the difference between now and last
<v Speaker 1>time you stepped up to me? Ricky says, you're the difference.
<v Speaker 1>You've no doubt got staples in the back of your
<v Speaker 1>head and are busted up I. He says that every
<v Speaker 1>title one that Cody's had has aged him. He says
<v Speaker 1>he stood in the background and congratulated him milestone after milestone,
<v Speaker 1>and he says, now it's his time and he is
<v Speaker 1>here to relieve him of his dut esus champion. Cody
<v Speaker 1>says he came out and told everyone he was clear.
<v Speaker 1>He says Ricky Saints versus Cody Rose, let's do it
<v Speaker 1>before he leaves the ring, He says he didn't come
<v Speaker 1>out to make a statement. He came out to change
<v Speaker 1>who the show is about. Well, what do we make
<v Speaker 1>of that opening segment? First of all, pleased, beyond please
<v Speaker 1>that Cody is clear. He strung out that announcement so
<v Speaker 1>long it looked for a minute like he was about
<v Speaker 1>to relinquish, So that's good at least. Then he basically
<v Speaker 1>challenged whoever and yes, We knew that we were getting
<v Speaker 1>a Ricky Saint's debut this week, but personally, I'm not
<v Speaker 1>really a big fan of call up hit the top
<v Speaker 1>of the card right away. I'm guessing we get a
<v Speaker 1>pretty straightforward match between these two later. I can't think
<v Speaker 1>that Cody's next major feud is with this guy, so
<v Speaker 1>maybe a filler story until we get the proper next
<v Speaker 1>opponents sorted. Does this match bring back Randy for some shenanigans?
<v Speaker 1>Do we run back at Backlash? Maybe? So let's see
<v Speaker 1>an okay start to the show. We then get a
<v Speaker 1>recap on last week's introduction of Fatal Influence, which was
<v Speaker 1>a masterclass in how to bring up talent and wow
<v Speaker 1>that nuclear heat. We go right to Cathy, who is
<v Speaker 1>with Flair and Bliss. She asked if Flair is worried
<v Speaker 1>about the numbers game with that. Ria comes along and
<v Speaker 1>tells Flair that she tried to take them on last
<v Speaker 1>week and got ambushed, and she is willing to put
<v Speaker 1>their differences aside if Flair is Flair. Basically, there's no thanks. Ria,
<v Speaker 1>s there's the three of them, two of you, Fleir said,
<v Speaker 1>freezer crowd, and she goes ahead and makes her entrance
<v Speaker 1>with Bliss and real stage backstage, and I am calling
<v Speaker 1>this one early. I'm going for a free versus freemash match,
<v Speaker 1>maybe backlash, maybe some other time. We get out Fatal
<v Speaker 1>Influence Mike in hand j C Jasis thank you for
<v Speaker 1>the warm welcome from Losers in Oklahoma. She says, last
<v Speaker 1>week he got a small taste of what they're bringing
<v Speaker 1>to SmackDown and she loves that. She says, Fatal Influence
<v Speaker 1>live to embarrass legends, and she's here to teach lessons
<v Speaker 1>to legends one at a time. So who better to
<v Speaker 1>start with than Flair. Now, before we go to the match,
<v Speaker 1>I'll just give a quick hot take. I have to
<v Speaker 1>say again, I love the way that Fatal Influence has
<v Speaker 1>been brought up. Cutting their own music in their entrance
<v Speaker 1>in their second week and having JC Jane cut a
<v Speaker 1>promo on Root to the Ring is genius and ramps
<v Speaker 1>up the heat even more. This one kicks off and
<v Speaker 1>it should be a decent match, but I do predict
<v Speaker 1>Shenanigan's Lucy j kicks us off by taking the mickey
<v Speaker 1>out of Flair Senior, and then we get Flair showing
<v Speaker 1>her strength and physicality and To be honest, these two
<v Speaker 1>look pretty well matched up in terms of physicality. Flair
<v Speaker 1>delivers the Flair Chops to j C. Then we get
<v Speaker 1>Jac with some decent offense, looking very good. This one
<v Speaker 1>ends Flair has the Figure eight locked in and we
<v Speaker 1>get one of the fatal influences interfering. Bliss to the rescue,
<v Speaker 1>but Jac gets to win with her move the rolling
<v Speaker 1>on core and beats Flair, which wow. Postmatch, the inevitable
<v Speaker 1>beatdown starts as Bliss tries to help but is taken
<v Speaker 1>out too. We then get Rear out to the ring
<v Speaker 1>to even things up and taking out all a fatal influence.
<v Speaker 1>Flair offers Rear a handshaken. It looks like we do
<v Speaker 1>have a team to face fatal influence. The match itself
<v Speaker 1>was decent and fatal influenced. Get week two of being
<v Speaker 1>impeccably booked. To maintain that nuclear heat A plus PLUSUS
<v Speaker 1>plus plus for me. We go backstage where we've got
<v Speaker 1>Page and Bree looking on. Byron asks them for their
<v Speaker 1>reaction to fatal Influence. Bree says that they're making a
<v Speaker 1>name for themselves. For sure, Page choirs in this business
<v Speaker 1>camera is real. They'll get theirs, but for now they've
<v Speaker 1>got to focus Online and Lash and keep the titles.
<v Speaker 1>Breece says that Nia and Lash are good, but with
<v Speaker 1>they've got the resilience and experience to be able to win.
<v Speaker 1>They say that SmackDown is their house, and Page says
<v Speaker 1>she's back and I am so pleased to see her
<v Speaker 1>back and on SmackDown as well, it's so awesome. We
<v Speaker 1>go then backstage still to Truth and Priest, who through
<v Speaker 1>the normal sort of comedy to you to me, to
<v Speaker 1>you to me bit, we end up making a match
<v Speaker 1>with Phraxium for the tag titles. Later on tonight, we
<v Speaker 1>then get a comedy bit with Dan Housen, miss and
<v Speaker 1>Kit backstage. They've set a trap with forty K, but
<v Speaker 1>it doesn't work, so Dan Housen just walks off with
<v Speaker 1>Missus money. As I said last week on the Low Down,
<v Speaker 1>I am warming too dan Housen quite a lot. Next down,
<v Speaker 1>we've got Truth and Priest versus Phrasium for the tag
<v Speaker 1>titles kicks off, and this one is for sure going
<v Speaker 1>to be quite a difference in style, with Phraxium fast
<v Speaker 1>and athletic and Truth and Priest with their slow and
<v Speaker 1>deliberate style. Truth on top in the early stages, but Axiom,
<v Speaker 1>with his souper fast and athletic moves, brings in Fraser
<v Speaker 1>and Priests to carry on the match. This one moves
<v Speaker 1>to a finish as Priest hits South of Heaven on
<v Speaker 1>Fraser and then in quite a cool move, he uses
<v Speaker 1>Axiom to hit him as he hits the razor's edge
<v Speaker 1>onto his partner. Priest takes the win and the chance
<v Speaker 1>retain in what was a decent match. Postmatch, we get
<v Speaker 1>Talatonga in being directed, of course by Solo to beat
<v Speaker 1>down these four guys, so clearly we aren't done with
<v Speaker 1>the FT's determination to get back the tag titles. As
<v Speaker 1>they stand tall in the ring to be honest, having
<v Speaker 1>beat down everyone pretty convincingly, Solo is in the ring
<v Speaker 1>with the mic. He says that last week Fatou made
<v Speaker 1>a big mistake. He says that even though Fatu took
<v Speaker 1>out his army, he says he also took out his family.
<v Speaker 1>He says his blood is my blood, and they aren't
<v Speaker 1>here because of Fatoo. He says when Fatou arrives, he's dead,
<v Speaker 1>and that brings out the USOS. Jimmy tells Solo that
<v Speaker 1>they get it. He says, you're have history with Jacob,
<v Speaker 1>but you aren't the only one who issued with him.
<v Speaker 1>He says the OTC has big problems with him too.
<v Speaker 1>Jimmy says that the mistake Fatoo made was putting his
<v Speaker 1>hands on the OTC on Monday. Jay says that it
<v Speaker 1>was the move. It was the move he used to
<v Speaker 1>take him out that was protecting the sacred. Ja Tell's
<v Speaker 1>Solo he has to wait until the OTC is dumb
<v Speaker 1>with him. Jay says, we aren't asking, we're telling you
<v Speaker 1>to leave him to the OTC. Solo says he hasn't
<v Speaker 1>got time for this and goes to leave, and then
<v Speaker 1>Talatonga takes out the USOS in the ring. Solo says
<v Speaker 1>to tell Roman that he isn't his tribal chief and
<v Speaker 1>the MTS don't give a damn what he says. He says,
<v Speaker 1>Jacob is a dead man. Like it or not, well
<v Speaker 1>we carry on. I feel like the USOS are a
<v Speaker 1>little less over this week. They did no eating, all
<v Speaker 1>very serious looking and expanding the bloodline out across all
<v Speaker 1>of the old players, which is actually pretty good. So
<v Speaker 1>it's one big, massive faction which is incredibly fragmented and
<v Speaker 1>as I said last week, it was going to need
<v Speaker 1>to be something big and that we hadn't seen before
<v Speaker 1>to cover for the absence of Roman. And I know
<v Speaker 1>that he is committed to appearing on Monday Night Raws
<v Speaker 1>every week until Summer Slam. But still, if we're spreading
<v Speaker 1>it out over SmackDown as well, he's sure as Eggs is,
<v Speaker 1>Eggs ain't going to be appearing on SmackDown two. So
<v Speaker 1>this is interesting and it's growing out and come back
<v Speaker 1>clash Fattoo is going to look epic if he wins
<v Speaker 1>against all the odds, and awful also if he were
<v Speaker 1>to win, which would be awesome. It nicely sets up
<v Speaker 1>months and months are feuds and title opportunities wrapped up
<v Speaker 1>within this new extended Bloodline faction. We go backstage to
<v Speaker 1>Cody now and he's approached by Sammy. He seems to
<v Speaker 1>have an issue with what Cody said last week about
<v Speaker 1>Sammy calling Cody golden Boy. He says he's tired of
<v Speaker 1>these misunderstandings. He said they should stick together as the
<v Speaker 1>two of them are the last two real good guys.
<v Speaker 1>Cody says they aren't the same and he walks off.
<v Speaker 1>I think maybe we are teetering on the verge of
<v Speaker 1>Sammy going proper heel at some point and hopefully bring
<v Speaker 1>him back ko. All signs seem to be pointing that way.
<v Speaker 1>Cody verguses Ricky Saints is up now and Cody medically
<v Speaker 1>cleared and right back into action. You say what you
<v Speaker 1>like about him, but the guy works really hard for
<v Speaker 1>the company. Where's Drew, Where's Randy? You know Cody is
<v Speaker 1>out there. He is genuinely week after week working really
<v Speaker 1>hard to keep things on the road. This match kicks off,
<v Speaker 1>We've got Ricky Saints starting off strong, getting his flowers
<v Speaker 1>early in this one, getting a close call with his
<v Speaker 1>Revolution DDT. Cody, though, hits crossroads from nowhere and takes
<v Speaker 1>the win as he should. But we've got a really
<v Speaker 1>good show in from Saints. Then postmatch, inexplicably, we get
<v Speaker 1>guns out, putting the sleeper on Cody and putting him out.
<v Speaker 1>So no follow up clearly between Cody and Randy, which
<v Speaker 1>would have been nice, but I can live without it.
<v Speaker 1>Gunter picks up the title and shows his intentions pretty quickly. Okay,
<v Speaker 1>I don't think I mind Cody facing Gunther. That's probably
<v Speaker 1>going to be a backlash. I don't want him to
<v Speaker 1>beat Cody, though, at least not yet. Maybe we could
<v Speaker 1>have have like a three match series or something like that.
<v Speaker 1>I would like Cody to get a bit more of
<v Speaker 1>a rum. Anyway, a good main roster debut from Saints,
<v Speaker 1>and next out we get Dan Housen in his wacky
<v Speaker 1>Races car. He does his nice and evil bit and
<v Speaker 1>says he's spending the money he found backstage on the fans,
<v Speaker 1>and he gives away some merch, which is definitely his thing.
<v Speaker 1>MS comes out and he says that ever since you came,
<v Speaker 1>bad things have happened to him. He says he's come
<v Speaker 1>to the realization that he is in fact cursed, and
<v Speaker 1>he tells Dan Housen that he will be his mentor.
<v Speaker 1>They're about to seal the deal when Kit Wilson comes
<v Speaker 1>out and breaks up the party. He tells the me,
<v Speaker 1>as you were mentoring me and now you enable this
<v Speaker 1>toxic little goblin, which is quite the line. Miss says
<v Speaker 1>everyone is talking about dan Hausen because he has mastered
<v Speaker 1>the curse. Everyone's talking about him. He's truly mastered what
<v Speaker 1>it takes to be a superstar. Miss tells Kit, you
<v Speaker 1>aren't even in the same league. Kit begs Miss miss
<v Speaker 1>to stay his mentor and says that he's written a poem. Cringe.
<v Speaker 1>They both end up holding out their hands for Missus handshake,
<v Speaker 1>and he ends up creating Miss Housen, which is pretty cool,
<v Speaker 1>very briefly, and MS says there's one things left to do.
<v Speaker 1>He turns around and he takes out Dan Hausen from behind,
<v Speaker 1>so that's that's cool. We then get Kit and Miss
<v Speaker 1>beat down on Dan Housen. I thought that was happening then,
<v Speaker 1>and that's quite disappointing. I like dan Hausen, as I said,
<v Speaker 1>so let's see where we go with that as it continues.
<v Speaker 1>Next up we are getting Royce Keys versus Angel, but
<v Speaker 1>before that we get a promo from Blake Monroe. She's
<v Speaker 1>in a bath for some reason. She says nothing burns
<v Speaker 1>brighter than Blake Monroe and that's it. Come say that
<v Speaker 1>she's coming soon. Be interesting to see who she's brought
<v Speaker 1>up to feud with and what picture she is put in.
<v Speaker 1>Guessing maybe it'll be the US title picture, which is
<v Speaker 1>all good. Now the match Keys versus Angel, and this
<v Speaker 1>one is blinking to Miss it over in about two seconds.
<v Speaker 1>Keys Muller's Angel Angel being fed to keys to continue
<v Speaker 1>building him as an absolute monster. Nothing much really to
<v Speaker 1>say about that. Backstage, Now we've got Tiffy. She says
<v Speaker 1>she wants her to find defend her title more often
<v Speaker 1>feels like an open challenge is coming. We then get Chelsea,
<v Speaker 1>the recently all alone Chelsea. She interrupts and stands from
<v Speaker 1>the wheelchair. She says they are going for martinis to
<v Speaker 1>celebrate Tiffy's birthday, to which Tiffy says she can't imagine
<v Speaker 1>a worse way to spend her birthday. We then get
<v Speaker 1>Keana and Julia, still with a bit of beef between them. Clearly.
<v Speaker 1>Keana says she wouldn't be doing her job properly if
<v Speaker 1>she didn't secure Julia's title rematch. Tiffy says she does
<v Speaker 1>like the sound of a title match list this next week,
<v Speaker 1>but she says she was talking to Keana and this
<v Speaker 1>really seems to piss off Julia. So we continue with
<v Speaker 1>that thread, which is fine by me, and Chelsea exits
<v Speaker 1>running behind Tiffy. Now, I would not hate Tiffy Chelsea
<v Speaker 1>weird kind of alliance. That would be pretty cool and
<v Speaker 1>I'm here for that as I've said I loved what
<v Speaker 1>they did in the Money in the bank Land match
<v Speaker 1>a couple of years ago. Together they work superbly together,
<v Speaker 1>and now Chelsea's lost her secret hervist. Maybe working with
<v Speaker 1>Tiffy isn't so weird, but that whole picture there with
<v Speaker 1>Julia and Keana starting to break down in their relationship,
<v Speaker 1>Tiffy as the new US chump. Hopefully she does follow
<v Speaker 1>for our word and make the US Women's US Open
<v Speaker 1>Challenge would be awesome. But it looks like we're getting
<v Speaker 1>Tiffy versus Keana next week, so let's see what happens there. Backstage,
<v Speaker 1>we get Fatou and Keys, and Keys is talking up
<v Speaker 1>Fatoo and telling him to wear wolf his ass up
<v Speaker 1>if he wants to beat the whole blood line. He says,
<v Speaker 1>people like us we take everything we want, and then
<v Speaker 1>is promptly attacked by Tala and Solo. We get Fatou
<v Speaker 1>and Keys left Lion backstage with updates from comms to
<v Speaker 1>come later, apparently straight back out to the ring, and
<v Speaker 1>we get the gingerbread man in the ring and Sammy
<v Speaker 1>making his way out. He says, we haven't fund on
<v Speaker 1>what the crowd just bo He says he loves coming
<v Speaker 1>to Tulsa and that seems to win him over pretty quick.
<v Speaker 1>He says he's a huge Bob Dylan fan. He says
<v Speaker 1>that they turned on Bob Dylan when he went electric,
<v Speaker 1>and he says he can relate to that. He says
<v Speaker 1>he genuinely doesn't know what he did to deserve the
<v Speaker 1>reactions he's been getting lately. He says that it doesn't
<v Speaker 1>bother him. He knows that the Sammy Ride or dies
<v Speaker 1>are in the crowd tonight. I gotta be honest, guys,
<v Speaker 1>I ain't hear one. He says. What he doesn't deal
<v Speaker 1>with his disrespect, and that's what he's got from Trick Williams.
<v Speaker 1>He says the Ginger Man represents Trick more than it
<v Speaker 1>does him, as it's an empty shell of a man.
<v Speaker 1>He says that Trick has a very cool entrance and
<v Speaker 1>some good catchphrases, but he says anyone can do that,
<v Speaker 1>and he says what they can't do is what Sammy
<v Speaker 1>has done over the years and decades, and that's worked hard,
<v Speaker 1>night after night, week after week, month after month. He
<v Speaker 1>says he sees Trick not taking him seriously or anything else.
<v Speaker 1>He says every time he sees the gingerbread Man, he
<v Speaker 1>wants to punch it, and he sort of squares up
<v Speaker 1>to it, but he doesn't do it. He apologizes, and
<v Speaker 1>then he low blows the gingerbread Man and continues to
<v Speaker 1>beat it down and rip off the buttons, and it's
<v Speaker 1>honestly one of those moments when you hope you have
<v Speaker 1>a half doesn't walk him. We ain't get Trick down
<v Speaker 1>sort of ring who starts to be down on Sammy,
<v Speaker 1>but Sammy legs it through the crowd, So it seems
<v Speaker 1>that Trick came out to defend the gingerbread Man suit.
<v Speaker 1>What the actual you know what? Trick looks like he's
<v Speaker 1>lost his best mate and this is all very, very weird.
<v Speaker 1>We get a recap of the fatal four weight at
<v Speaker 1>Mania for the women's tag team titles, and we get
<v Speaker 1>Kathie Kelly backstage to give an update on the gingerbread Man,
<v Speaker 1>Yes on the gingerbread Man costume, who is in the
<v Speaker 1>doctor's office. Trick comes out and says, no one touches
<v Speaker 1>the gingerbread Man, and now Sammy has crossed the line.
<v Speaker 1>He says, Sammy better pray that the gingerbread Man is
<v Speaker 1>okay and he gives Sammy his title match at Backlash,
<v Speaker 1>and then we get the news that gingerbread Man costume
<v Speaker 1>is dead. I've no words, literally, I've got nothing. Hi.
<v Speaker 1>Next back to the action. Honestly, the suitor that's my
<v Speaker 1>down goes to two hours and we can lose this
<v Speaker 1>kind of shit, the better, I mean, Honestly, Anyway, I
<v Speaker 1>said I had no words. Apparently I have some, but
<v Speaker 1>their potty mouth words. So let's just crack on. Next,
<v Speaker 1>we've got the title match between breating Page versus Nayra
<v Speaker 1>and Lash, and the crowd go nuts for Paige absolutely
<v Speaker 1>as they should. This one kicks off, and this week
<v Speaker 1>we will see Page in action as she starts off
<v Speaker 1>against Lash and is distracted by Nya right away, leading
<v Speaker 1>to her getting flattened by Nash and leads to a
<v Speaker 1>close to count. In the very early knockings of this
<v Speaker 1>match on Page, Nya is now in with Paige, and honestly,
<v Speaker 1>I feel like I'm collectively holding my breath with the
<v Speaker 1>rest of the wee fans, hoping Nya doesn't do what
<v Speaker 1>Naya does and injured Page looks like we escape that
<v Speaker 1>as this one ends, as Nya goes up for the Annihilator,
<v Speaker 1>but paid Page manages to take out Jack's behind the
<v Speaker 1>referees back. This allows Break to get the hint on
<v Speaker 1>Naya and retain the tag titles. Well, that was quite
<v Speaker 1>a short match, but that's okay, I guess that's what
<v Speaker 1>we will get. Well, Page and Bree get their match.
<v Speaker 1>Thckness Fitness back so to speak. Very pleased to keep
<v Speaker 1>hold of the titles for sure, and no Shenanigan's. I
<v Speaker 1>did think we might get a bit more fatal influence input,
<v Speaker 1>but please, they're not over egging that pudding. Next up
<v Speaker 1>we get told that the gingerbread Man is dead. They've
<v Speaker 1>even given him like a special screenshot thing like they
<v Speaker 1>do when you know someone proper dies, and I still
<v Speaker 1>just can't ridiculous. And next week we get the announcement
<v Speaker 1>which I called six month Tag and the funeral of
<v Speaker 1>the gingerbread Man. Nick and Sammy backstage and Sammy is
<v Speaker 1>kicking off. Nick says everyone is grieving. Please. Nick makes
<v Speaker 1>the match at Backlash official, and Dan Housen approaches Nick
<v Speaker 1>and demand's match with the Miz and Kit. Nick tells
<v Speaker 1>him if he can find himself a tag partner, then
<v Speaker 1>he can have that match. At Backlash who will team
<v Speaker 1>with Dan Housen. I have literally no idea, but I
<v Speaker 1>am excited. Next down and apparently the main event over

<v Speaker 1>entrance here, yeating and all, which seems to win the
<v Speaker 1>crowd back over. You would expect here for Solo and
<v Speaker 1>Taler to get the victory, but I would imagine we're
<v Speaker 1>going to get some shenanigan from Fatu and or keys.
<v Speaker 1>The USO's take a pretty decent beating in the match,
<v Speaker 1>and just as he's about to get really bad for
<v Speaker 1>the USO's, Fatuo appears takes out Talatonga using the steps
<v Speaker 1>and setting his sights on Solo, who is now all
<v Speaker 1>alone in the ring. Fatuu gets the Tonguan death quip
<v Speaker 1>on Solo, but he's stopped by Talatonga again, but Fatou
<v Speaker 1>manages to samoan drop Talatonga, which is pretty bloody impressive
<v Speaker 1>through the announced back desk, to the absolute delight of
<v Speaker 1>the crowd. Having completely cleaned everyone out, finally, he faces
<v Speaker 1>up to the USOS and we get a Mexican standoff,
<v Speaker 1>but in the end he just walks through them to
<v Speaker 1>leave the ring. Fatu grabs the mic and tells the
<v Speaker 1>USOS to tell Roman that he's going to dog walk
<v Speaker 1>his ass at Backlash, and we go off air. So
<v Speaker 1>tonight's show, what did we think?
<v Speaker 2>Well?
<v Speaker 1>Another decent show. Not as good as last week, but
<v Speaker 1>to be fair, last week's BART was pretty high. I
<v Speaker 1>think we got an amazing show last week. I like
<v Speaker 1>the proguession sorry, the progression with ftal influence and the
<v Speaker 1>Fatuo versus Everyone's storyline is up and is absolutely top.
<v Speaker 1>I do wonder at what point Fatu is just gonna
<v Speaker 1>let rip and rip the heads off of the USOS
<v Speaker 1>as well. He seems to be holding back with them,
<v Speaker 1>but I don't think he will as we get a
<v Speaker 1>little bit closer. Are they saying that Backlash is like
<v Speaker 1>I think next week? I don't know how quickly they
<v Speaker 1>come around this time of year. So liking those two storylines.
<v Speaker 1>The gingerbread man Sammy trick thing is ridiculous. Let's get
<v Speaker 1>to Backlash, do the match and move on. Cody back
<v Speaker 1>and fighting, which is awesome and a decent debut from Saints.
<v Speaker 1>All in all, pretty pretty solid, some standout performances in
<v Speaker 1>tonight's show, and things seem to be staying on the
<v Speaker 1>right road. I think there's just some slightly ridiculous storylines
<v Speaker 1>and the main one I've currently got problem with is
<v Speaker 1>this gingerbread man Sammy Trick little yacht you thing. But
<v Speaker 1>I'm hopeful that we can disappear that after Backclash, and
<v Speaker 1>then I'm excited to see where we go with Tricks Rain.
<v Speaker 1>I'm more so excited to see where Tiffy takes the
<v Speaker 1>US title. As I said, it sounds like she's gonna resurrect,
<v Speaker 1>or not even resurrect because we've never done it, but
<v Speaker 1>it sounds like she is going to start and open
<v Speaker 1>challenge for the women's US title, which is something I've
<v Speaker 1>wanted for a long time. And let's see where Blake
<v Speaker 1>Monroe fits in. And honestly, let's just hope that Sammy
<v Speaker 1>turns full heel and we do at some point hopefully
<v Speaker 1>get a KO return. So it's interested to see what
<v Speaker 1>you guys think. For me, I'm watching Raw. Obviously I
<v Speaker 1>don't review Raw, but I watch for and I think
<v Speaker 1>SmackDown has slightly got the edge over Raw at the
<v Speaker 1>moment in terms of the stories it's telling the people
<v Speaker 1>it's got involved. I don't know what you guys all think,
<v Speaker 1>but I think it's close. Neither have been bad shows
<v Speaker 1>since Mania, which bodes very well. I think so some guys.
