<v Speaker 4>here on the ww podcast. As you can hear, my
<v Speaker 4>mic doesn't sound the same as normal. It hasn't most
<v Speaker 4>of the week. As I am on vacation. I'll be
<v Speaker 4>returning later this week and back in my studio on Sunday,
<v Speaker 4>So Sunday night, I'll be back with the week in review,
<v Speaker 4>back into our normal space and back to the normal
<v Speaker 4>recording quality. I have to say though, for a MacBook
<v Speaker 4>Pro not right. I'm not musing internal mics on a
<v Speaker 4>laptop and it still sounds like this, So I don't
<v Speaker 4>think it's too bad. But welcome to the show as
<v Speaker 4>we get ready for Bash and Berlin already next Saturday.
<v Speaker 4>So time is moving faster than ever, guys, as we
<v Speaker 4>are closing out August in just over a week and
<v Speaker 4>then September and boy football seasons. Here For those of
<v Speaker 4>you that are interested, I know some of you, most
<v Speaker 4>of you actually I know are interested.
<v Speaker 2>Either you have a.
<v Speaker 4>Fantasy league, or you do DraftKings or whatever the case
<v Speaker 4>may be, or you're just a football fan and don't
<v Speaker 4>do any betting.
<v Speaker 2>It's still a fun time.
<v Speaker 4>It's always exciting because if you love fall, you love Halloween,
<v Speaker 4>you love pumpkins, spice, you love all of that, then
<v Speaker 4>it is right around the corner, unbelievably. And we have
<v Speaker 4>a lot to discuss on this Monday Night, including the
<v Speaker 4>announcement of my new podcast, which we'll be coming later
<v Speaker 4>in the show, so stay tuned for that. I did
<v Speaker 4>launch my first episode, got my artwork up and it
<v Speaker 4>is not wrestling based, and we'll talk more about that
<v Speaker 4>later in the show, as I'm going to use this
<v Speaker 4>platform to promote promote my other one. But we'll see
<v Speaker 4>if that angers some people and makes people stop listening
<v Speaker 4>to this one. If you completely disagree with my views
<v Speaker 4>on politics, then yeah, it's a dangerous topic. But I'm
<v Speaker 4>not going to talk about those things here, which is
<v Speaker 4>why I have my new show, and we'll get to
<v Speaker 4>that later in the show. But for those of you
<v Speaker 4>here to talk wrestling, while you're in the right place.
<v Speaker 4>As we saw Monday Night, Raw Eminate from Fort Lauderdale, Florida,
<v Speaker 4>and I think it was a good show overall. I
<v Speaker 4>don't think it was one that was, you know, one
<v Speaker 4>that would be nominated for Raw of the Year or
<v Speaker 4>win any Emmys or slammis, i should say. And I
<v Speaker 4>think it progressed things nicely for Bash in Berlin, not
<v Speaker 4>Bash at Berlin, but one of the same. And for me,
<v Speaker 4>the first thing that comes to mind, which I'm gonna
<v Speaker 4>jump around a little bit, is the main event. So
<v Speaker 4>I'll talk about the main event first. Talk about the
<v Speaker 4>main event with Randy Orton and Ludwig Kaiser, with Gunther
<v Speaker 4>appearing at ringside, and this match up here with Gunther
<v Speaker 4>and Orton is as good as you could hope that
<v Speaker 4>one would be. Now, I do prefer Randy Orton in
<v Speaker 4>a heel role. I think that his heel role is
<v Speaker 4>more entertaining than his baby face role because he's too
<v Speaker 4>jokey at times, and even in his twenty year career,
<v Speaker 4>he never feels as comfortable as a baby face as
<v Speaker 4>he does a heel. It doesn't feel genuine, it doesn't
<v Speaker 4>feel for something from some reason. After all, the experience,
<v Speaker 4>as great as Orton is, and he is great a
<v Speaker 4>hall of Famer. The baby face role just never suits him,
<v Speaker 4>just kind of like Charlotte Charlotte Flair when she returns,
<v Speaker 4>it just never feels right. So Orton is a babyface.
<v Speaker 2>It works.
<v Speaker 4>But his best work is being done and was done
<v Speaker 4>and has been done as a heel, and right now
<v Speaker 4>he is clearly in the position to try to help
<v Speaker 4>promote Gunther to that next level. I don't think there's
<v Speaker 4>any real concern that Gunther's going to lose the beltier
<v Speaker 4>as this is all about Gunther retaining, all about Orton,
<v Speaker 4>you know, getting a title opportunity. But there's not a
<v Speaker 4>chance that with John Cena on the cusp of making
<v Speaker 4>history in being the number one world title holder in
<v Speaker 4>his seventeenth world championship, likely they're not gonna put Orton
<v Speaker 4>in that same category.
<v Speaker 2>I don't think.
<v Speaker 4>I think when all is said and done for Randy
<v Speaker 4>Orton's career, whenever he decides to hang it up, I
<v Speaker 4>don't believe he will be in the category of John Cena.
<v Speaker 4>He'll be a couple short. I think he might get
<v Speaker 4>a sixteenth champion. I know he's trying to become a
<v Speaker 4>fifteen time So my quick thoughts on that, But the
<v Speaker 4>babyface role for Wharton is fine. It's fine. It's just
<v Speaker 4>not as good as the heel, which does make you
<v Speaker 4>wonder when he's gonna finally hit that RKO on Cody Rhoades.
<v Speaker 2>It's coming, It's coming.
<v Speaker 4>So we got Orton come out though at the beginning
<v Speaker 4>of the show, and he didn't get to talk long.
<v Speaker 4>Randy Orton's never been really one to hold a long promo,
<v Speaker 4>but that's okay. He got to the point here. He
<v Speaker 4>did pander to the crowd a bit at the beginning
<v Speaker 4>of the show, and he did welcome us to Mind
<v Speaker 4>to Night Raw.
<v Speaker 2>I don't get it.
<v Speaker 4>I don't understand why the stars need to do this.
<v Speaker 4>Rannie Orton's got a world title match in ten days
<v Speaker 4>or however many days, and he is concerned and he's
<v Speaker 4>being told to make sure that he welcomes us to Raw.
<v Speaker 2>Guys.
<v Speaker 4>I just I don't get it. I nitpick on this,
<v Speaker 4>but it happens all the time. Does anyone else not
<v Speaker 4>care that? It just takes you out of the moment,
<v Speaker 4>because no matter what's going on with whoever is announcing it,
<v Speaker 4>the priority is to make sure the very first thing
<v Speaker 4>you say is to welcome us to raw. It's just
<v Speaker 4>it's just one of those take me out of the
<v Speaker 4>moment types of things. But moving on, I don't know
<v Speaker 4>what to dwell on it too much. We did also
<v Speaker 4>have Randy Orton again. He played up to the crowd
<v Speaker 4>a little bit and he said it was a perfect
<v Speaker 4>way to start the evening.
<v Speaker 2>And then Gunther came out.
<v Speaker 4>He talked about the making the match personal and he
<v Speaker 4>told the fans to Gunther told the fans to shut up.
<v Speaker 4>Crowd was booing. Gunher said the only thing Randy Orton
<v Speaker 4>did last week was make things very personal, and then
<v Speaker 4>a USA chant broke out and he told Orton that
<v Speaker 4>you're never gonna be able to hit in our ko
<v Speaker 4>and me again. It would never happen again. And there's
<v Speaker 4>a lot of focus around the RKAO. I don't know
<v Speaker 4>how when Gunther says that this is now personal? What what?
<v Speaker 4>I don't understand what exactly made anything personal for either man?
<v Speaker 2>Why? Why?
<v Speaker 4>Because Gunther mentioned his father and grandfather, I guess, But
<v Speaker 4>how did.
<v Speaker 1>Which?
<v Speaker 4>Okay, fine, you want to just mention them. That instantly
<v Speaker 4>turns things a little more personal. Okay, I could buy it.
<v Speaker 4>But then with Orton hitting an RKO. How does that
<v Speaker 4>make it very personal? Isn't that actual? Just business? I mean, anyway,
<v Speaker 4>I'm still it sounds like I'm getting a little annoyed
<v Speaker 4>by it.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not.
<v Speaker 4>I'm just doing what I do in my brain, and
<v Speaker 4>that's nitpick things that just don't make sense. I'm a
<v Speaker 4>guy that likes to make sense of things, so which
<v Speaker 4>is tough in pro wrestling. Probably not the brain I
<v Speaker 4>should have. All right, So then we have an attack
<v Speaker 4>by Ludwig Kaiser, which led to the eventual match between Kaiser.
<v Speaker 2>And Orton at the end of the show. So all right.
<v Speaker 4>The next segment here is Seamus and Pete Dunn. I
<v Speaker 4>actually didn't know that this match was happening at least
<v Speaker 4>this week. I thought they were gonna move it to
<v Speaker 4>a ple Bash and Berlin would have been a nice
<v Speaker 4>place for it, and maybe they still are. But their
<v Speaker 4>first encounter, I'm surprised they kind of rushed to it quick.
<v Speaker 4>And I've been enjoying the build with Pete Dunn explaining
<v Speaker 4>to Jackie Redman, I think it was last week as
<v Speaker 4>to why he's angry at Seamus, and maybe I totally
<v Speaker 4>missed that last week that oh, next week, these two
<v Speaker 4>will meet, which is very plausible and likely. But I
<v Speaker 4>still enjoyed the heck out of the match. Even after
<v Speaker 4>the match, when Seamus won, he won clean. You had
<v Speaker 4>Pete Dunn kind of smiling back at Seamus, kind of
<v Speaker 4>indicating that this ain't over, and it probably isn't.
<v Speaker 2>I hope it's not. Seamus and Pete done. It's fun.
<v Speaker 4>They have history, a lot of history in the brawling
<v Speaker 4>Brutes when Pete Tun was known as butch, and.
<v Speaker 2>Now they have something to work off of.
<v Speaker 4>And I hope it's not just this one off. I
<v Speaker 4>wouldn't imagine it is, because they wouldn't have I think done.
<v Speaker 4>What a few week program? Blow it off on Raw
<v Speaker 4>and then what are you doing for the pl I mean,
<v Speaker 4>who knows, But I hope it does continue. It just
<v Speaker 4>usually only ends when the baby face gets a clean victory.
<v Speaker 4>That's usually the sign that Okay, this thing's over, but
<v Speaker 4>we'll see, we'll see. The match itself again, was very good.
<v Speaker 4>I enjoyed it, and Seamous got the victory in about
<v Speaker 4>eleven minutes. Okay, backstage, we got Odyssey Jones who was
<v Speaker 4>standing with Kope Kingston and Xavier Kingston, and Jones did
<v Speaker 4>a New Day yell why Woods didn't look thrilled, and
<v Speaker 4>once Jones left, Kingston asked Woods if he was okay.
<v Speaker 4>Woods asked Or said he wished Kingston would have talked
<v Speaker 4>to him before getting Jones involved, and added that he
<v Speaker 4>felt like Kingston wanted Jones to replace big Ee. Kingston
<v Speaker 4>said he never or he was sorry and no one
<v Speaker 4>could ever replace big Ee, and Kingston recalled how hard
<v Speaker 4>it was to get New Day off the ground and
<v Speaker 4>how everyone was laughing at them. Kingston said they are
<v Speaker 4>family and nothing will change that. He said Jones is
<v Speaker 4>in a similar spot and they thought they could make
<v Speaker 4>him or take him under their wing as veterans, and
<v Speaker 4>Woods said Kingston was right. Jones returned and Woods was
<v Speaker 4>kind to him, and then he looked a little taken
<v Speaker 4>back by Jones and gave him a aggressive hug. So this,
<v Speaker 4>you know, when they're in teenage midget turtle's gear, it's
<v Speaker 4>hard to take them seriously doing anything until they grow
<v Speaker 4>up their gear. I just it's difficult. And is this
<v Speaker 4>leading to a Kofee Kingston Xavier Woods matchup or a
<v Speaker 4>Kofee heel turn or a Woods heel turn. Woods might
<v Speaker 4>be the one I don't know, there is something, something's
<v Speaker 4>a brewing. It doesn't need to end in a match,
<v Speaker 4>though I do think it will, and that's fine if
<v Speaker 4>they want to finally split the New Day that I
<v Speaker 4>mean that ship sailed fifth I mean literally six years ago.
<v Speaker 4>But if they're gonna do it now, there's I mean
<v Speaker 4>a decade of footage that they could use to pull
<v Speaker 4>this program together and actually make people care. I think,
<v Speaker 4>despite my criticisms of it and my continued criticism of it,
<v Speaker 4>and I'm not backing down. Instead, I would double down
<v Speaker 4>on my criticism of KOFEE, especially KOFEE Kingston. But they
<v Speaker 4>could do an awesome job with all the footage that
<v Speaker 4>they could sift through, make an awesome program with Xavier
<v Speaker 4>Woods versus Kobe Kingston if they really wanted to go
<v Speaker 4>that road. There's a long history of friendship there. They
<v Speaker 4>obviously have thousands of hours of footage that they could
<v Speaker 4>sift through. If they have the time or resources, or
<v Speaker 4>even then the desire to go that road, they could
<v Speaker 4>And I would probably even change my tune about seeing
<v Speaker 4>it with a video package. I think a video package,
<v Speaker 4>if this ever is done, could go a long way
<v Speaker 4>into making people like my self care about this program,
<v Speaker 4>and Odyssey Jones has been the proverbial straw that's stirring
<v Speaker 4>the drink in this whole thing. Okay, we have what's next.
<v Speaker 4>I don't want to, As always, I don't go through
<v Speaker 4>every segment here. Ivy Nile versus Maxine Duprix. This ended
<v Speaker 4>in a no contest pretty quickly. Maxine Duprix didn't get
<v Speaker 4>a big reaction. Ivy Nile didn't get a very big reaction.
<v Speaker 4>But Gabe and the Creeds entered the ring and stood
<v Speaker 4>with Duprex. Uncle Howdy then showed up with Eric Rowan,
<v Speaker 4>Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and they appeared on the apron
<v Speaker 4>Cross roughed up Nile, and then the Wyatts took out
<v Speaker 4>the Creeds, and the Wyat six surrounded Gable and then
<v Speaker 4>how To hit him with sister Abigail and laughed. Bo
<v Speaker 4>Dallas laughed very very similarly to his brother. It was
<v Speaker 4>eerily similar and credit to him. But you know, we
<v Speaker 4>still have the wide six targeting Gable and the that's
<v Speaker 4>fine because it puts Gable in the spotlight, which is
<v Speaker 4>I think a good thing. I think Gable has shown
<v Speaker 4>that he can deliver in big spots, So I like
<v Speaker 4>that there's no hocus pocus either. By the way, all
<v Speaker 4>the teleportation stuff that Wyatt did at times that was
<v Speaker 4>a little too much isn't really present here. This is
<v Speaker 4>a more grounded, based in reality Wyatt group, which is
<v Speaker 4>why I think it's going to be a much more
<v Speaker 4>long standing group than others may have been. But yeah,
<v Speaker 4>so all right, well again, ivan Ile, there was a
<v Speaker 4>no contest here for those that care about the actual result.
<v Speaker 4>Seem Punk was backstage and we got let's see Dominic
<v Speaker 4>or I'm sorry, yeah, Ripley saying Dominic would soon realize
<v Speaker 4>that she and Priest protected him. This is a video
<v Speaker 4>package with Domind the Damian Priest, the Terror Twins, who
<v Speaker 4>have now being known as that I guess, which is fine.
<v Speaker 4>And I don't have any particular inkling that they're going
<v Speaker 4>to form a group. You don't form a group if
<v Speaker 4>the name of the group is two people. So if
<v Speaker 4>they've already come up with a nickname for Damian Priest
<v Speaker 4>and Rie Ripley the Terror Twins, then it's very very
<v Speaker 4>unlikely that they have anyone else brought in, because okay,
<v Speaker 4>you have I don't know Wrestler X and Wrestler Z
<v Speaker 4>come in join Damien and join Rhea in an official,
<v Speaker 4>you know, new version of the Judgment Day. Then you're
<v Speaker 4>still gonna call them the Tarra Twins. Doesn't work, you know.
<v Speaker 4>So if they've already come up with a nickname and
<v Speaker 4>it's based on actually the number of people, it's probably
<v Speaker 4>not gonna be any long term alliances. They may find
<v Speaker 4>new friends, and they're gonna have to find new friends,
<v Speaker 4>but they'll be temporary ones that aren't gonna have to
<v Speaker 4>change the name of the group.
<v Speaker 2>All right.
<v Speaker 4>So Punk comes out with a leather strap around his neck.
<v Speaker 4>I originally thought this got me excited as hell for
<v Speaker 4>a moment. I originally thought it was a scarf, and
<v Speaker 4>I got excited for about three and a half seconds
<v Speaker 4>and realize quickly, oh, okay, it's not a scarf, So
<v Speaker 4>that got me excited. For those that don't know why
<v Speaker 4>that would get me excted, it's because if you watch AW,
<v Speaker 4>who's the guy that wears a scarf? Of course it
<v Speaker 4>is none other than mister MJF. So I thought for
<v Speaker 4>a moment there was a bit of a hint there,
<v Speaker 4>but I digress. So we got Punk congratulating the Florida
<v Speaker 4>Panthers for winning the Stanley Cup, and he shut the
<v Speaker 4>crowd down quickly.
<v Speaker 2>He's almost scolding them.
<v Speaker 4>The crowd put out a Panthers chant and see him.
<v Speaker 4>Punk's like, all right, all right, quiet down before you
<v Speaker 4>get out of hand.
<v Speaker 2>It's like, okay, Dad, why do you do it?
<v Speaker 4>I know that?
<v Speaker 2>Why? I don't know what I mean.
<v Speaker 4>Maybe he's like, okay, we're limited on time, or I
<v Speaker 4>don't want I mean, I don't know what it is.
<v Speaker 4>But he shut the ship the crowd down quickly with
<v Speaker 4>the Panthers chant. He's like, yeah, congratulations to the Panthers.
<v Speaker 4>You've got two and a half seconds a year before
<v Speaker 4>I cut you off. That was weird, but he said
<v Speaker 4>legendary goalie Roberto Luangano, I don't know, I can't pronounce
<v Speaker 4>that in the house, and it was good to see him,
<v Speaker 4>and Punk asked if the bags under his eyes were
<v Speaker 4>getting bigger. He said he didn't get a lot of
<v Speaker 4>sleep the night before, and Punk's spoke of appearing at
<v Speaker 4>a fan fest over the weekend in New York. He
<v Speaker 4>said someone asked about the hot streak W's on and
<v Speaker 4>if someone asked, someone asked Punk if he's why he
<v Speaker 4>is on such a hot streak, Punk said. The fans
<v Speaker 4>of the answers to both the questions, No one's asking that. Okay,
<v Speaker 4>I don't believe you. I don't believe fans don't ask
<v Speaker 4>that stuff. That's what you would want a fan to
<v Speaker 4>ask to to create this promo, But no one in
<v Speaker 4>reality's asking this. You just wanted to give this information out.
<v Speaker 4>You wanted to acknowledge how hot w B is, how
<v Speaker 4>hot your character is, but no fans asking this, No
<v Speaker 4>fan asked this, So stop it.
<v Speaker 2>Don't lie in my face. But you guys, think about it.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, nobody is gonna go to Punk and say,
<v Speaker 2>as a fan, why do you think your character's so hot?
<v Speaker 2>Right now? Give me a break. What fan would even
<v Speaker 2>think of that? Because the reason is fans already have
<v Speaker 2>their opinions formed as to.
<v Speaker 4>Why they like or don't like somebody. They're not there
<v Speaker 4>as investigative journalists. Right an investigative journalists may come in
<v Speaker 4>unknowing what the hell w W is, but seeing Sampunk
<v Speaker 4>is getting a loud of reaction week after week and
<v Speaker 4>say hey, and you go up to him in an
<v Speaker 4>interview style as a non wrestling fan as an actual
<v Speaker 4>journalist and say, why do you think your characters on
<v Speaker 4>such a hot streak. Sure a journalist would ask that question,
<v Speaker 4>but no, not a fan. Fans do not ask that.
<v Speaker 4>That is not real, okay, But I mean, is Punk
<v Speaker 4>really on a hot streak? By the way, is he
<v Speaker 4>really on a hot streak? What hot streak?
<v Speaker 2>And this is not me tearing down Punk, I'm just
<v Speaker 2>not understanding. This is very forced.
<v Speaker 4>We know WWE right now is in a good place.
<v Speaker 4>Ratings are higher, they sell out buildings more than they
<v Speaker 4>used to in the last five to ten years. Yes,
<v Speaker 4>that's true, but they're not Attitude era esque ratings and
<v Speaker 4>numbers and dollar value merch and you know, I don't
<v Speaker 4>want to compare pl buys. That's not fair in this
<v Speaker 4>day and age. But you get my point, Like they're hot,
<v Speaker 4>but like, I don't know, I'll move on. I'll move on,
<v Speaker 4>I promise. Just weird felt very forced, all right, but
<v Speaker 4>I can guarantee you no. When asked that question, Punk
<v Speaker 4>recalled the first thing in line being of the woman
<v Speaker 4>in a wheelchair. He said the woman stood up and
<v Speaker 4>told him that she defeated cancer, and added that Punk
<v Speaker 4>was a source of strength for her, and Punk noted
<v Speaker 4>that a couple of friends are also battling cancer.
<v Speaker 2>Now that I believe that's a fan, right there?
<v Speaker 4>How many? How many you know make a wish? Are
<v Speaker 4>there a lot? There's a lot of make a wish?
<v Speaker 4>And I don't know how many Punk's done. I don't
<v Speaker 4>pretend I know. I know he's done a good amount
<v Speaker 4>from what I hearred.
<v Speaker 2>I can look it up. I'm just too lazy. But
<v Speaker 2>that I believe that's a fan. Fans do say that stuff. Yes, so.
<v Speaker 4>Punk said he also met a female fan who flew
<v Speaker 4>fifteen hours from Taiwan to meet him. He said there
<v Speaker 4>was another fan with a sign who said he came
<v Speaker 4>from Jordan just to meet him, and Punk said that
<v Speaker 4>means everything or something to him and everyone in the back.
<v Speaker 4>And Punk said it means a lot to him because
<v Speaker 4>he was gone for ten years. Now, I mean sure,
<v Speaker 4>I'll believe that too. Yeah, it's basically pandering to us
<v Speaker 4>a little too much. But Punk said, it's the fans
<v Speaker 4>who drive him. I'll see him, punk Champ broke out.
<v Speaker 4>Punk held up a fan made bracelet. Punk said it
<v Speaker 4>might be a Taylor Swift thing. Let's face it. I'm
<v Speaker 4>the Taylor Swift for men. Why okay, pause, hold the phone,
<v Speaker 4>all right, punk, I have a lot of issues with
<v Speaker 4>your promo and this, but I have issues from a
<v Speaker 4>fact checking perspective here and the pandering and though thank
<v Speaker 4>you guys, it's you guys. Oh really if it's us,
<v Speaker 4>If it's really us that drove you, then it wouldn't
<v Speaker 4>take you a decade to come back to WWE. And
<v Speaker 4>I know it's not just he can't just decide to
<v Speaker 4>do it. People in WWE have to be agreeing to it.
<v Speaker 4>I get all that, But the fans wanted you back
<v Speaker 4>in ww for like the last ten years, and only
<v Speaker 4>last year at Survivasory did you come back?
<v Speaker 2>And yes you did, UFC.
<v Speaker 4>But if we're the ones driving you and we're the
<v Speaker 4>ones chanting your name and people did for ten years, funny,
<v Speaker 4>way is showing your appreciation back now? Yes you are
<v Speaker 4>back now and all is well, and that's fine. Just
<v Speaker 4>I bring this up to make sense of things and
<v Speaker 4>make things logical with things that we're told that are real,
<v Speaker 4>and this stuff I believe is real in a promo, okay,
<v Speaker 4>that's the difference than just a typical wrestling promo. Now
<v Speaker 4>here's what I take issue with even more. You're the
<v Speaker 4>Taylor Swift for men. Okay, this analogy is a little
<v Speaker 4>bit ego driven. Taylor Swift is probably the biggest music
<v Speaker 4>star in the world, one of the most recognizable faces
<v Speaker 4>in the world. She has hundreds of millions of social

<v Speaker 4>hope that it inspires discussion. I think that's really what's
<v Speaker 4>kind of lost today. People just demonize the other side.
<v Speaker 4>We've been taught to feel so deeply about politics that
<v Speaker 4>it has destroyed our personal lives and personal relationships with
<v Speaker 4>others that are on the opposite side of any particular
<v Speaker 4>issue or all the issues where in years past, not
<v Speaker 4>too long ago, you could disagree with people and it
<v Speaker 4>wouldn't be that big of a deal other than just
<v Speaker 4>when you talk about it. But then you could turn
<v Speaker 4>off that switch and go about your normal lives, family
<v Speaker 4>and friends. Most people, not everybody, but you know, sometimes
<v Speaker 4>you have those disagreements with family members at the dinner
<v Speaker 4>table on Christmas or Thanksgiving. For those people that have
<v Speaker 4>family members that are into politics, you may not have,
<v Speaker 4>you know, similar viewpoints and all that. But I would
<v Speaker 4>just like, if anybody's gonna sit there and go, oh
<v Speaker 4>my god, I've been supporting this guy the whole time,
<v Speaker 4>can we just take a step back and have some
<v Speaker 4>perspective and some humanity for the other side, have some
<v Speaker 4>dis I like discussion. I like passionate discussion. That doesn't
<v Speaker 4>mean you're gonna convince me. Doesn't mean I'm gonna convince you.
<v Speaker 2>It's not the point.
<v Speaker 4>The point is to see the viewpoint from the other
<v Speaker 4>person's side. And even if you see that viewpoint, it
<v Speaker 4>doesn't mean you have to.
<v Speaker 2>Agree with it.
<v Speaker 4>It's just to see it and hopefully it's something that
<v Speaker 4>becomes entertaining for you and we improve over the weeks
<v Speaker 4>and months to come. But I am a big proponent
<v Speaker 4>of discussing and not just shouting labels and you know, oh,
<v Speaker 4>you're this, you're that, you're a, you're a, you're this,
<v Speaker 4>you're that. We all know the words. Oh, that's just useless,
<v Speaker 4>doesn't do anything, it's childish, and it just shows your
<v Speaker 4>you know, intellectual cowardice. When people don't want a debate
<v Speaker 4>and they just throw labels and elementary insults. It's just like, again,
<v Speaker 4>I don't care what side of the aisle you fall on, right, left,
<v Speaker 4>doesn't matter to me. If you're throwing those insults, you've
<v Speaker 4>already lost the debate. You've lost what the whole purpose
<v Speaker 4>of it is, and that's to hopefully engage in discussion.
<v Speaker 4>So just like we do here, just like we do
<v Speaker 4>with wrestling, I know some of you really hate my content,
<v Speaker 4>even though you still listen. You really hate it, you
<v Speaker 4>still listen, but I know some of you love it.
<v Speaker 4>I feel like I'm very polarizing. If I was to
<v Speaker 4>take a piece of an ego that that's the mpunk
<v Speaker 4>had Unraw, I would say I'm the John Scena of podcasting.
<v Speaker 4>I'm that polarizing figure. Not that I'm saying I'm as
<v Speaker 4>big as John Cena, but that's kind of what Punk
<v Speaker 4>did comparing himself to Taylor Swift. So I guess, taking
<v Speaker 4>a page at a Punk's book, I'm the John Sena
<v Speaker 4>of podcasting.
<v Speaker 2>So all right, I really don't truly believe that, no doubt.
