Speaker 1: Welcome back everybody to Bachelor Happy Hour's Golden Hour. Thanks so much for joining us. We're so excited to be back and talk about that show.

00:00:17
Speaker 2: Hunh, Kathy, oh gosh, we are What did you think of AFR finally known as After the Final Rows?

00:00:23
Speaker 1: Well, first of all, I was sad because we weren't there. We're usually there, Kathy.

00:00:29
Speaker 2: I know it was like weird for me. Okay, it was, but I have to say I love the fact it's, as you always remind me, it's all about love. And I loved that Gary was there with his new fiance Leanna, and I love because he was the first golden bauchelor. And I loved that Joan was their first golden boucherette with Chalk. I loved that. And I thought it was hysterical that Chalk predicted that, uh.

00:00:54
Speaker 1: You're gonna get pad.

00:00:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, they're gonna get married. Okay, but let's get into it because okay.

00:00:59
Speaker 1: First one out of the gate. Cindy. First of all, she is breathtaking, the gorgeous. However, I think we had a little boomette show and a little too much the dress. It was like I couldn't even look at her I kept looking at the boobs.

00:01:16
Speaker 2: Well, let me just say, I think you know that cuts one of two ways, either not a good look or hey, Mel, look what you're missing and.

00:01:27
Speaker 1: That that rhinestone thing coming down in between my titties.

00:01:31
Speaker 2: Come here and choke me. But I gotta say I, as you know, Cindy lives in Austin and we are friends, and I love Cindy. I'm so happy for Pegan Melt. Let me first say that, absolutely, so happy for them. But I do think Cindy made a mistake. I would not have done what she did. I would I would have said, gone to the suite like Mel wanted, and talked to him and did all that. I really think Cindy thought he would follow after her, and I don't blame her for thinking that because they had a very close relationship. So I think if it had it been me, I would have done it. I would have thought, what do I have to lose? I'm in love with this man if she is. I'm not trying to put words in Cindy's mouth. I would have said, Mel, I made a huge mistake, and if you're happy with peg, then you're happy. Oh yeah, I would have if if I were in love because you know what it's I hate this expression, but I'm hearing it so much on Batchelor these days. Shoot your shot. That's her one and only shot now. I think Megan. By the way, can I just say I said Meg, and I heard it on TV last night. Oh I'm going to coin it. I said it the other day on our podcast Mel and Peg Meg anyway, Yeah, exactly. I think Meg is very I think they're a very happy couple. But out of side, I would have done it, would.

00:03:02
Speaker 1: You, I definitely would have stayed till it was over. Yes. However, she has watched the show and if she was not getting what she needed and she wanted more commitment, she didn't want to be the one that wasn't chosen. So she took it upon herself to say, face if you will.

00:03:26
Speaker 2: If you don't know, if you're going to be the one that's chosen.

00:03:28
Speaker 1: In no, you don't. But she was pretty sure that he wasn't giving her what she wanted. Like she didn't say marriage, but she wanted commitment, and he said, I don't leap at a leap of faith. I wanted to continue. Remember we were saying something last week Kathy that you said if he were to say, okay, I want to date both of you and see where it goes. And my friend Kathy here was in agreement with that. Not on my life.

00:03:56
Speaker 2: When I do that, well, again, you know if I were in love with the man that much. But again I'm not in the situation. So you know what I've done that on national TV. I probably would have humiliated myself quote unquote because I would want him to know that's how serious I am. I screwed up.

00:04:13
Speaker 1: I do get that, but I will feel like she wanted to be the bigger person and shine and not be the one.

00:04:20
Speaker 2: That was okay. So when she says, am I going to finish the game? I was in the wrong stadium. I love that. That whole analogy, that sports analogy or metaphor, I should say. But here's the thing. Mel kept saying, Uh, she wanted marriage. He said it to peg. He kept saying it. She wanted marriage, sit and engage. That means sad, No, it doesn't. I know lots of people who have been engaged for ten years.

00:04:47
Speaker 1: Rule of thumb, you get engaged, what happens somebody else want to marry them. That's not getting engaged days.

00:04:55
Speaker 2: I am. Listen, I'm a modern woman here. I could see you. You're so milder, you know, put a nice ring on my hand, and I I'm so modered. I am so modern, I am. But but I honestly think I do think Cindy wanted marriage. Don't get me wrong, but I think. And she wasn't waiting, willing to wait for two years till his sons were out of the house. She said that, you know, I'm not waiting two years.

00:05:21
Speaker 1: So that was her choice.

00:05:22
Speaker 2: It was her choice. But I think had she gone to the fantasy suite, we're women, we're smart, we've been around the block of time or two. I think they could have had I agree with Mel, they could have had those meaningful conversations that may have changed his mind and or her mind. And I'm not taking anything away from Pet because I love Peg and boyd. She looked beautiful last night.

00:05:45
Speaker 1: She certainly we didn't even get there yet. But don't you think when she sat there and paused and she was cheering up after walking away, she was hoping he would come after her. And then Jesse comes to sit with Mel and he said, you can go. He had an opportunity to stop her, So he made his choice.

00:06:08
Speaker 2: No, I did well, he clearly made his choice. I think that again, we only see what shown blah blah blah. We don't know everything could happen. But Mel, I've met him once, delightful man to me. He was very kind to me. Uh but but NFL player, a lawyer. Oh, let me repeat, a man. They don't like their egos being bruised, never mind on national TV. So did I think in the moment he could think fast enough or deliberately enough to go after No, not at all. And so I think it's so I'm telling you, I'm so split down the middle. I am so happy for Meg, I'm so happy for them. I think it is fabulous. I congratulated her last night. I think it fabulous. But I also hope that it is for the you know, for the long haul.

00:07:06
Speaker 1: After hearing Cindy say he is not my person because she wanted somebody to be head over heels. And I don't blame the woman. We all want to feel love. But he is in no way, shape or form, was not ready at that moment. He would get to continue the journey.

00:07:25
Speaker 2: And I don't have a problem with that to you them.

00:07:28
Speaker 1: No, not at all. But she said, is it okay if you walk me out to leave? That was his moment too, Kathy. He had several moments that he could say, No, I don't want you to leave. Wait till we go to the fantasy suite so we could talk. I think a loted down the fantasy suite. People think, oh, we're going to get laid. It's not about getting laid. It's about not having a camera on you and having an open conversation.

00:07:55
Speaker 2: Okay, but I'm I'm gonna call bs here for a second because hause Peg. Everyone calls her fun Peg, and she has fun. She's a joy, she has lots of them.

00:08:06
Speaker 1: She also has a serious side.

00:08:08
Speaker 2: I heard, Yes she does. That's why I told you. I feel like she's like me. I'm crazy fun, so are you. But we both have a serious side.

00:08:15
Speaker 1: Absolutely.

00:08:22
Speaker 2: When Mel came to PEG's room and he said to her and told her Cindy, first of all, I thought Peg looked so damn nervous. Uh huh, you know that's me.

00:08:31
Speaker 1: She was ready for him to let her go.

00:08:35
Speaker 2: Yes, so so she was nervous. But when when uh he was there, he told her that Cindy wanted to get married, and I'm like, no, Mel, she didn't say that. And then Peg says in an interview after she said, you know, I want to get to know him better. I need a commitment, PEG said the same thing. So you know, Peg played the I hate saying, played the game a little better, but you know, the cat and mouse, she was willing to, you know, see it to the end. Here's my question for you. If you are PEG, and you and I both know her a little bit. If you're PEG, do you feel like you're the default pick? Like he didn't really want you.

00:09:21
Speaker 1: But that's what the world's going to think because Cindy walked out. And I think Cindy knew what she was doing because she didn't feel one hundred percent that that was her guy, so she'd rather walk away then not be picked.

00:09:39
Speaker 2: How can you say, if Cindy still loves him, how can you say that he's not her guy? I see Cindy, I'm sorry.

00:09:48
Speaker 1: She said he's not my guy?

00:09:50
Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I said, I'm five ten and one hundred and ten pounds. Do you believe me?

00:09:55
Speaker 1: Well, so what did she say? I I she was trying to say thing she is carefully. Like I said before, she knows exactly what she's doing, and you know what, it is her choice too, it's not just Mel's choice.

00:10:09
Speaker 2: I totally agree with that. That's why I said to you, and Mel said, you have to see it to the end. No, you don't. You can leave any time you want and he could send her home anytime. Why I asked you a question. You didn't answer my question? What do you think? Peg? You said, the world see it that way? I'm asking would you feel default the PEG.

00:10:32
Speaker 1: Enter your head? Of course it is, and they probably had a conversation about it. But she's mature enough to know we're good. The world's gonna say it. You know that?

00:10:43
Speaker 2: Well?

00:10:43
Speaker 1: No, I was asking you what the TV moment that was done? Yeah?

00:10:49
Speaker 2: Well, so let me say to you if if.

00:10:52
Speaker 1: He didn't want Peg to feel that way, he didn't say that.

00:10:55
Speaker 2: Right, So how did you feel? Because you know me, I'll date two guys that a time or whatever you accused me of last week? Do you what did you think about the ring not being an engagement ring, a promise ring of sorts to get to know you better.

00:11:09
Speaker 1: It's still a diamond. But he didn't propose because he's not ready, and you know what, she wasn't either. Now they've had a few months and they're totally in love. But at that moment, that's one thing I admired about Peg, the way she shared she was in protect mode. She devoted her life to raising her daughter like Mel did after the divorce with his boys. And he doesn't say I love you very freely. It takes time, and she was still in protect mode. She likes him, she's just fun energy all the time, but that has nothing to do with her heart.

00:11:46
Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I mean.

00:11:47
Speaker 1: And when she opened up and said that, I gave her credit for that.

00:11:52
Speaker 2: She was I will say, Diane perfect match for me. Oh, I think they're a great match. I want.

00:11:58
Speaker 1: I mean because they both on the fence of right getting married moving far. Like she said, you know, being sixties, in your sixties, you don't have to get married right away.

00:12:11
Speaker 2: Oh and look at me. That's why I just said, you can have an engagement ring and be engaged for life and they can live happily ever after as an engaged couple. And that would not well you just told me before. An engagement ring means.

00:12:22
Speaker 1: When you propose to somebody that means marriage.

00:12:27
Speaker 2: Okay, well, I don't necessariiate that way, but we can on you that.

00:12:29
Speaker 1: One call it an engagement.

00:12:31
Speaker 2: So I'm gonna I'm gonna, I'm gonna call I'm gonna call something here. Okay, he is a lawyer, Diane said.

00:12:38
Speaker 1: He is analytical, yes, practical.

00:12:41
Speaker 2: Analytical, not emotional. So when this guy is saying.

00:12:48
Speaker 1: That he's more practical than emotions, but.

00:12:51
Speaker 2: When exactly, But when he's saying she said marriage, I'm thinking to myself if I were there, he's not hearing. He's thinking that all I want is marriage, and I feel badly for Cindy. I would feel badly for me. Like, no, Mal, you didn't hear what I said. I need a commitment. I need to hear that you're falling in love with me, that you think you could fall in love with me, not how is the date good?

00:13:17
Speaker 1: And she said she was willing to move to California she has a daughter there, she was and not even with him, like to get him too crazy. And I'm not talking about moving in with you. I would move to be near.

00:13:30
Speaker 2: You, and he didn't want that either, So you know, I don't get it. But I will say one thing that you know you and I both have kids, right, and we've talked about this. If I'm ever lucky enough to find a guy, which you know, Christmas is coming, I'm gonna go sit on Santa's lap should that happen. Our kids are very important to us, so I listened very carefully to his sons, who, by the way, are adorable and well spoken.

00:13:57
Speaker 1: And the baseball scholarship.

00:13:59
Speaker 2: If that's that's really exciting.

00:14:02
Speaker 1: He must be so proud of him.

00:14:04
Speaker 2: I'm sure he is. But when he said the son, I'm not sure which one said it. My dad wants an easy going I literally wrote it down. He wants a bad going, fun person. That's what he wants. He wants mellow, not drama. I thought, if peg is not mellow. So I don't know where that came from, but I thought to myself, easy going and fun. I'm asking you, Susan, does easy going and fun make a good long term partner?

00:14:40
Speaker 1: Is that easy going is a keyword?

00:14:43
Speaker 2: There? You go easy going or at least adaptable. I don't think easy going.

00:14:47
Speaker 1: One of you. To be right, he's up. He's more analytical.

00:14:53
Speaker 3: And emotional, just saying Susan, no, and for like me, in ever reallylationship, I have to be I'm the dreamer, the pisces.

00:15:04
Speaker 1: I'm the you know, shoot straight from the hip. I don't think before I speak, although I've gotten much better. Yeah, every relationship needs.

00:15:14
Speaker 2: Balance, right, And and I think we've talked about this. My husband was an introvert. I'm a very slight extrovert. And and and that's why our marriage worked. I think mel I don't know, you know, I don't know what his his brig myer brig score is, but I think that he's definitely not his outgoing as pack. I think we can all take that one to the bank.

00:15:40
Speaker 1: What I love about it is he loves her to shine. He's that guy you know when your partner just loves you to stand out in the room and have fun and be crazy. He enjoys it. So I think it's going to work. And how about how gorgeous she looked.

00:15:56
Speaker 2: She looked beautiful. Oh my god, you know on the internet or saying she had a facelift, people are cruel in six weeks, Yeah, exactly, people. You cannot get a facelift in six weeks and look like that.

00:16:07
Speaker 1: F yi, it's called stunning.

00:16:11
Speaker 2: Her hair was beautiful. Her face is beautiful, makeup covers, you know, changes you look. I love her curly wild hair. But I thought she looked absolutely extraordinary last night. But I have another question, because when when not Jesse? When when Mel said? And it was at the beginning and at the end in the middle, you know, when there's a will, there's a way. What do you think he like to me? You and me, if there's a will, there's a way. You and I we're going to find the way. That guy, if we have the will, if we want that man, we're going to find a way to make it work. And I think backing up to Cindy when she said I'll move out there, blah blah blah, that was her trying to find a way because she willed the relationship.

00:17:03
Speaker 1: She was looking for words that he couldn't give. He said, if there's a will, there's a way. He liked her a lot. He tells her that she needed a confirmation. Okay, you're in love with me.

00:17:19
Speaker 2: Okay, So I have a question. This is hard when Susan, are you ready, I'm gonna it's a hard question. Yeah, do you believe that someone can go from looking at Cindy and laughing and love and saying, you know everything, but I'm interested in you because I felt I told you this earlier. I felt like he was gonna pick Cindy had Cydy gone, had Cindy gone to the fantasy suite, and peg, I love you, don't be angry. I My feeling was he was gonna pick Cindy if she'd gone to the fantasy suite. So how do you rationalize?

00:17:56
Speaker 1: I felt all along their chemistry was strong.

00:17:58
Speaker 2: I used to, but let me ask my question.

00:18:01
Speaker 1: Five episodes he's going to pick Cindy's but then when he's into fun, he's into somebody entertaining him, making him egg all over.

00:18:12
Speaker 2: I'm susan, the word is shattering. I'm agreeing with you. The question is, how do you go from loving three women finding or he didn't use the word love, but finding so much in three women that you really like, to finding so much in two women you really like, so much so that you can't choose. Two months later, saying you know, I'm in love, and now I think if you were that much in love, let you and I let's produce this show last night. If he is that much in love and he and he was ready to make a commitment. I think you would have gotten down on one knee, don't you, and said, let's let's change.

00:18:55
Speaker 1: She's got her ring, he loves her, he set it out loud. They've had time to spend with each other.

00:19:01
Speaker 2: So you're saying he's not ready for marriage.

00:19:04
Speaker 1: I don't think marriage is in the equation.

00:19:06
Speaker 2: Oh ever.

00:19:09
Speaker 1: Maybe not.

00:19:10
Speaker 2: Ah, okay, I'll drink to that. I mean, i'll drink to mostly.

00:19:14
Speaker 1: But like she made a perfectly good point, do you care at our age if we have a paper saying we're married, I would do a commitment ceremony with it, right, paperwork, right.

00:19:26
Speaker 2: Well, that's you talking, I'm saying. I don't think that's what she's saying. I don't think that's what peg saying. She said she could see marriage with him episode before she's I don't think she said anything about a commitment ceremony with.

00:19:38
Speaker 1: Living together and wearing the ring, but they don't live in the same state.

00:19:44
Speaker 2: I do have a little bit you're changing. You are absolutely coming over to my side at the table now, which is you can have a ring on your hand, and you can call an engagement ring, a promise ring, a happy Valentine's ring or Merry Christmas early, but it's still a ring, yes, and that doesn't mean you're ever going to get married. And I am not convinced that Cindy wasn't in the same place.

00:20:08
Speaker 1: I'm Cindy was so serious. Peg is not that serious. She has a serious side. But think about the words that she said. You know she wants a life partner. He said, relationships happen over time. I agree with two year things. But he's not ready to propose. She wanted a proposal, he was not ready. Therefore, she should have backed it up if she was really in love with him and gave him some space.

00:20:37
Speaker 2: Well, I agree with that.

00:20:39
Speaker 1: I don't know.

00:20:39
Speaker 2: That's why I said she should have gone to the fantasy suite. I agree with that.

00:20:43
Speaker 1: But she wants somebody to feel like he was struck by lightning, like she needs that guy to be dropped dead in love. I know what that's like.

00:20:51
Speaker 2: I do, and I think that way, maybe he could have gotten there, maybe he couldn't. I don't know, We'll never know. That's you know what that is Episode two of it on The Golden Bachelor A season two. Mel's gonna have a redo to see how you know we're gonna just start where it picked up.

00:21:06
Speaker 1: But we did admire her strength and her composure. Yes, when she left and she paused, she was hoping so bad that he would come, and I wish he did. I really do just to talk to her.

00:21:18
Speaker 2: Even well, you know why I like a romance story. I like a love story that ends where you have no quese. You know that just came to me when I watch Hallmark movies. Let's start there. When I watch Hallmark movies, you already know at the beginning the first line, the girl moved to some town to help her grandmother out. She meets this dropped at gorgeous guy in the parking lot, and the rest of the movie is, you know, she had a fiance in New York City, but now she's in bf E, Kansas, and she meets the guy and they fall in love, and you know, at the end of the movie they're getting married and they're in love and happily ever after that, you just hit on it, Susan, I don't have the feeling with mel that this is a I love you till the end of time. You hit on it.

00:22:07
Speaker 1: Something that that comes to mind when Cindy said she waited to see here. I'm sorry, does this.

00:22:13
Speaker 2: Mean that maybe I can steal horn In and maybe I have a chance?

00:22:16
Speaker 1: No, forget. She was so glad she watched it back because being in it and seeing yourself do it or night and day, that feelings, the emotions, it's crazy, you know, from watching ourselves on TV. And she needed to hear how she fits in his life.

00:22:38
Speaker 2: Who I'm talking about, Cindy. Cindy since and that's what I'm saying.

00:22:42
Speaker 1: That's when she said that line, I don't need to convince a man. Wait, and she said he was looking short term and his book was a comic book. Her book is as a freaking romance novel. I feel you, Cindy.

00:22:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I get it. I love Cindy. I get I love them both. But I will say to you, that is what I'm telling you and chatting with you. I've had this epiphany that is what is missing in this finale. For me, it's a promise ring. And I truly hope that they love each other and they move forward to whatever the relationship is. But you know what I'm talking Like Susan Knowles, I wanted the love story. I wanted them to for him last night to say, you know, it's been a rough road. You know, I tossed the football into the dirt six times.

00:23:33
Speaker 1: He said, I love her.

00:23:35
Speaker 2: That's a huge I get it. I want you. You're always you, always the one saying the show ends, it's about to getting a proposal. Send even said it it's about a marriage proposal. I wanted Mel to stand up last night. I'm just get on his face and proposed her. Then I would be leaving this conversation moving onto Taylor. Frankie Paul saying, what a great thing. But I don't feel great about it. I don't. It's not complete to me.

00:24:08
Speaker 1: It's not I'm happy. I am, I am.

00:24:11
Speaker 2: I'm happy for them. That's not well.

00:24:13
Speaker 1: I didn't mean that you weren't happy for them.

00:24:15
Speaker 2: I wish it were. I wish it for it.

00:24:18
Speaker 1: When the goldens, it's a different story cat the young ones. They want to get engaged and to be married and have kids and buy your first house at our age. We don't need all that. Well, look at Chalk and Joan. Their relationship is perfect. They are engaged. There's no wedding plans. They're taking their tongue is it perfect?

00:24:40
Speaker 2: Though I don't want to see a guy. It works for them, I grant you that, but for me, I don't want to see the guy that I'm in love with once a month. It works for them.

00:24:48
Speaker 1: That's then again, you don't want them under your foot twenty four to seven either. I remember you saying that it's difficult to live with somebody again.

00:24:57
Speaker 2: It would, but I haven't met the that I'm willing to trip over hiss dirty socks for you know, I haven't met him yet. But if I do, maybe in our next life, God, we're going to do it all over again, I think.

00:25:13
Speaker 1: H less. Both women were very, very strikingly beautiful and well spoken. One is happy, one not so much. I feel my heart breaks always for the girl that doesn't get it.

00:25:32
Speaker 2: Let me tell you something, Cindy, as I say, I've gotten to know her a little bit. She is a lovely beautiful If the men will, In fact, I said her the other night.

00:25:42
Speaker 1: She won't have a problem.

00:25:43
Speaker 2: They'll be lining up at her door, I said, could.

00:25:45
Speaker 1: You nobody was lining on our doors?

00:25:49
Speaker 2: I asked her if she could wait grow in last night?

00:25:52
Speaker 1: Yeah it was awfully long.

00:25:54
Speaker 2: Yeah, no kidding, But I but I says the hairdresser. I said to Cindy, could you do you throw your rejects my way when you start dating? Because you know her reject will still be a nine on my skaning on her door.

00:26:07
Speaker 1: Man, she's gonna have to fight.

00:26:10
Speaker 2: I don't know about you, but I am ready. I mean, I truly just to summarize, you and I both wish Meg a love, wonderful life together however they see it.

00:26:20
Speaker 1: However, curious though, nobody's going to relocate so kind of like Chuck Chuck, excuse me and Joan, they live in separate states. I'm assuming that's what it's going to be like for these two. They're going to travel together. There. They planning to go to the super. I think she's going to Michigan. He's gone to Vegas.

00:26:43
Speaker 2: By the way, Go blue. Do you know my son went to the University of Michigan? Did he? When I met mel, yeah, I said, go blue, and he looked at me like, how the hell did you know that? I said, my son went to Michigan? He did? I think I told her? He asked me to what door? Me was my son's forty four years old? What Jesus smell out to remember it was how many years ago.

00:27:04
Speaker 1: About when Peg says I like his shoes, he goes, I'm a trendsetter. Can be seen about it and that it's cool. I think they're going to do fine.

00:27:17
Speaker 2: I hope that is our wish. We hope they do well. We hope they are truly in love. That's the wish for everyone coming off one of these shows. And my hope is that I am next on the Tropic.

00:27:29
Speaker 1: Always, Always.

00:27:32
Speaker 2: Taylor.

00:27:32
Speaker 1: Everybody that's listening, we want to know what you thought. Let us know, write us in right and so we can read it out loud. I mean, everybody's entitled to their opinion.

00:27:44
Speaker 2: And but can I just say, like I said, I've been reading online, ladies, gentlemen, Bachelor Nation fans. I can assure you if Peg had a facelift and looks like that. In six weeks, I'm going to find out the name of our doctor and I'm gonna I'm gonna get one done myself. But now we get to do the next up is Frankie Paul and.

00:28:05
Speaker 1: Now we get back into drama. And although I heard she's got some fabulous gentlemen, she really does you know what she was outspoken there with Jesse. Yeah, just catching up about her show, and she sent somebody home, not at a roast. Raman, you're going to answer me back, that girl's got strength.

00:28:25
Speaker 2: That's not what you were gonna say.

00:28:27
Speaker 1: That was Kathy before we go. Yes, what if anything would you change for like the next Golden Bachelor or Bachelorette.

00:28:39
Speaker 2: Show, aside from me being the lead, and I would I mean, it is about time that they brought me in. Okay, so if that doesn't happen, I actually, and you're probably gonna laugh when I say this, I would like to see someone a little bit more golden. Sixty five Mel was golden. I would like to see if they do a Golden Bachelorette next, you know, Joan was what sixty one when she did it. I would like to see a woman or sixty whatever. I would like to see a woman between sixty five and seventy somebody that's.

00:29:11
Speaker 1: The real gold real, not twenty three of them.

00:29:15
Speaker 2: Yeah, and not that many of them. And I'd like to see.

00:29:17
Speaker 1: More dating and really have time to get to know each other.

00:29:22
Speaker 2: And please can we have different dates besides horses and dune buggies? Please? Can we?

00:29:28
Speaker 1: I mean I would see yachts though, yeah, keep.

00:29:30
Speaker 2: The yacht and you know, let's jump out of an airplane. I'd keep that. Oh wait, and the golden start get to do that either. But you know what I would seriously like to see. I would like to see people who are genuinely willing to get who are ready see I think that was part of the problem with mal I'm not sure he was one hundred percent ready to go down this path. So I would like to see someone who is genuinely ready to make a commitment, whether it is you know, long term living living with someone, not this I'm gonna stay in New York and you're gonna stay in California. I mean, that's just I want to see the full.

00:30:10
Speaker 1: And it's tough, Kathy, But like you said, we have children, grandchildren. You're not just gonna jump up and leave.

00:30:18
Speaker 2: Well, but again, there's something Susan between living full time. What if I said to if I meet mister Wright, and I have two children in Austin, Texas, and I have all five of my grandchildren, all five of them are here. But if but if I met the right guy and he lived in California or like Tahoe, I'm moving there, if that's what, And I'm gonna spend one week a month here in Austin. And you know what, I'll bet I would keep my house here. I will bet you that I would see as much or more of my children coming here once a month.

00:30:55
Speaker 1: Oh absolutely so.

00:30:59
Speaker 2: But I I really I would like to see you know, people when you read online, they say, oh, i'd like to see more normal women. I think, and they say like twenty pounds overweight and not faceless and not hair extensions. I don't really care about that. I care about what is in the people. You know, what's in your heart? What are you really looking for? I also would like to hear more of the stories, right, I think that's what That's what.

00:31:26
Speaker 1: The women didn't talk about their grandchildren. I didn't even know any of them were grandparents.

00:31:31
Speaker 2: I don't know that any of them are they are.

00:31:34
Speaker 1: There's a couple of them, yes, because I asked. But and they had long hair, they were beautiful, they were all attractive, and to me, it geared towards a little younger.

00:31:44
Speaker 2: And that's that's not golden.

00:31:45
Speaker 1: And they think that's what people want. I guess what. We already have a young one you want to do a middle aged one, do a middle aged one, right, But for Golden's it should be Golden. I said that from our show.

00:31:57
Speaker 2: Susan is this is We've reached the moment where I have to tell you they're in conversation with me about being the next Golden about Chorette, and.

00:32:05
Speaker 1: Now I'm hosting the show and.

00:32:06
Speaker 2: You're hosting the show. So vote for us no.

00:32:09
Speaker 1: And hopefully you know it's only once a year we get Golden's, but I hope it doesn't go away.

00:32:16
Speaker 2: Okay, what is the best thing for you? What is the best thing for you about Golden the Golden Bachelor of Bachelort's. What is the best thing about.

00:32:25
Speaker 1: Telling the world they're still alive and there's still.

00:32:28
Speaker 2: Hope exactly that that we have a lot of life to live and it's as.

00:32:36
Speaker 1: As besides you, Kat, is there anybody else that you would like to see as a lead from our show? From this show? Random?

00:32:50
Speaker 2: I mean, I think I honestly, I think Nancy would make a great, great lead. I think she's so deserving, But I don't think she's old enough. Based on what I just said, I think Cindy's too young. I think these women are too young.

00:33:03
Speaker 1: I want somebody that has not that they don't have personality, but somebody that's going to challenge them, like the like you and I would exactly hello.

00:33:15
Speaker 2: I really I think the biggest and I'm being serious now, I think the biggest thing that's important to me going forward is I would like to see someone who's really over the age of sixty five, who's active, who's sixty five or over. That's what I would like to see. And I think that because you know what, Susan, the older we get you and I've talked about it. You become invisible people don't. I want to show the world we're not invisible. We have thoughts, we have energy, we're kind, we have great stories.

00:33:48
Speaker 1: We still have game, baby, that's right, and.

00:33:51
Speaker 2: We have we have a lot of love to give. So that's my whole thing. But anyway, this has been a blast. I love Golden's I love the fact.

00:33:59
Speaker 1: That season with the youngins, yeah, be drama.

00:34:02
Speaker 2: If there's going to be drama.
