So then, uh, when that was over, I went to lunch before I took off for the for the week with my friend and we went to eat what's that name of that place, the barbecue place on Versales Road. You know, like it's uh, you know, good food. It's always like a it's it's like an old old Lexington crumb. Everywhere and I saw a radio host Jack Patty there Lexington legend, radio host, radio legends having Well. I went in there. He was so nice and he he called me over. We took a picture and uh, he's like, you know he was on the radio, or has been on the radio since when like the I mean he's been on forever. He's been on for like fifty years, and he's he's like a legend. He was very nice, said really positive things about this show, which I thought was very cool.

Speaker 2: I had some difficulties Ryan at an airport. Oh no, you first flight, I literally got through security and the moment I got through security, they canceled my flight. So I'd already checked my bags, gotten through security, and then they canceled the flight. So they said, you know, flight's canceled. So I go to one of these people and I'm like, hey, can you help me? They said, your next flight can't do till tomorrow. So fine, I said, well, how do I get my luggage? They were like, go downstairs, they'll take care of it. Sat downstairs for two and a half hours waiting for luggage for a flight that I am not taking. Right and there was only one other person who had been in my situation who had checked the flight and didn't have the luggage. She was a woman probably forty years old, married and clearly having drew marital problems. Oh huh okay, So she that clear at baggage clean. You wouldn't think it would be that clear at bag But while we were sitting there next to each other, her husband calls and she starts yelling at him, and she says, you're probably wondering what that's about. And I wanted to be like, no, not really, but we're here. It's just the two of us, right, me and Nashville housewife. I say, yeah, everything all right, And she then proceeds to basically tell me, Shannon that she's contemplating divorce and opportunity for you when you're when you're a stranger, though, when you're a stranger and you're listening to this, it's a lot. And so I basically became marital counsel council for two hours, you know, and it was it was a lot. So I just kept hoping, please bring my bags, and they said, you know, we're gonna have to get the people that get off the plane first. It was like two and a half hours, So that was a tough start to the vacation, but otherwise good stuff. So it's like she's over sharing, You're just trying to get your contact, and I feel like I'm going to check on her in a couple of weeks shit, and see if she was able to make it work from her husband, see if they're going to be our.

Yeah, okay, so you have to understand something I haven't really. I haven't really been part of the TBT tournament. Last year was I was out of the country. I didn't see any of it, didn't see Drew get punched, didn't see any of it. The first game where I was, they didn't have it, So I didn't get to see the game where they played like Astros or what was their name of the Stros squad didn't get to see it. So yesterday is the really the first experience I've had with most entertaining thing I've seen it all the time. All right, why do I love it?

The guy had a layup and just kicked it right back out for a three. He wouldn't shoot it, and it was joyfully out of control. And I don't know if you saw the Louell game later in the night, the coaches were cussing out their players. The referees are miked up, so we get to see hear how idiotic they are during the game. They would know the rules during the game. They're not calling anything, Shannon. I mean, people are hitting each other with a two by four and nobody's calling a thief.

They started a big lead with elam ending all that size and they completely quick is getting so mad. I was watching the Louisville team last night. Montres Harrell is the best player in the league. No one could guard montress Harrell. But the end of the game, they didn't even think about giving him the ball, like these random guys were trying to shake four people and shoot a three. They were playing a team called Sideline Cancer, which at first chanted I think I thought was this teams are admitting that they are cancers. To the team, but it was sideline cancer, not we are sidelining cancer. They have the little dude who's balding, who's the best player I've ever seen.

He was there in Louisville at seven for their game that night. It's pretty good timing to get from there.

No if you see this, Yeah, I watched a lot of TVC he was awesome. I love it and now I guess it's set up to where if we keep winning, we will host every game.

I think we we I think Cali Perry, with all he did, should have won two, could have won three, ended up we won. I think there were three years that we were definitively the best team. You don't always win it when you're the best team, so I think it is fair to say we should have won two of those three, but we won one. And we nearly won both those times, but we didn't win. And then I would throw in twenty seventeen as another team that was good enough to win a national championship. When you consider ten, twelve, fifteen, the amazing runs we did in eleven and fourteen, and then the talent on seventeen, that we had six legitimate national title contender teams.
