I've hung out with him twice now. 00:01:56 Speaker 5: So other than that, you know, just I'm really enjoying this like stage in my life right now. 00:02:02 Speaker 3: So yeah, how old are you, Andrew? 00:02:04 Speaker 5: Yeah, that also just happened. 00:02:06 Speaker 6: I just turned thirty, so oh, welcome decade. 00:02:09 Speaker 5: I know I'm feeling it after Saint Patti's Day more than I did last year instantly. 00:02:17 Speaker 3: Do you really think Susan and I have any sympathy for someone turning thirty? I mean, really, what do you like thirty thirty four. You know what, you're almost I'm thirty five, but you were close. 00:02:28 Speaker 4: When was your birthday? 00:02:31 Speaker 6: January twentieth. Yeah, I'm a little quarious. 00:02:35 Speaker 2: So I. 00:02:37 Speaker 4: Don't like the count anymore. 00:02:40 Speaker 3: I have an important question. How many dates did you have in the d r dates? 00:02:48 Speaker 5: Oh? 00:02:49 Speaker 3: Look at dates? What's that you were? 00:02:51 Speaker 7: So? 00:02:51 Speaker 5: We were there? 00:02:51 Speaker 3: We were there. 00:02:52 Speaker 5: I don't know if you guys were Tennis fans raphae on the doll Yeah, end up a new hotel and we were invited to go there. Everyone there's spoke Spanish, so I didn't really I couldn't really speak it. So I download due Lingo. Not gonna lie to you because of that. 00:03:07 Speaker 3: There was there was. 00:03:08 Speaker 5: A cute girl that my heart a little bit. We dance. I'm really good at stating. Not gonna lie to you, that's one thing I do. But shot that. 00:03:19 Speaker 6: Cumbia, I do all of it. That's like one of the things that you know. 00:03:22 Speaker 5: I listened to reggaetone and it's like bad Bony is my second plain artist in Spotify. 00:03:27 Speaker 1: So okay, wait, if we ever meet, if I meet you again at some point in the future, will you saw some dance with me? 00:03:34 Speaker 3: I took lessons. 00:03:35 Speaker 5: I mean, my sauce gets a little, you know, a little handsy, so I don't know if you can handle that cat. 00:03:42 Speaker 1: Andrew, I got a few years on you. Your hands will not be the first that have touched me. 00:03:46 Speaker 5: Okay, okay, okay, Now, I mean I'm just saying, you know, God gives me, It gives a lot of people, you know, blessings, but these hands, Okay, we got you. 00:03:59 Speaker 1: I gotta say, is I got to say right before we started, I was saying to Andrew. We met Andrew in uh, Susan and I did when we were in San Francisco at an event and he was with Andrew, I mean he was with Greg and uh Greg and justin Glaize, and I said, you seemed like the really quiet one of the bus. 00:04:19 Speaker 3: And I've taken it all back. 00:04:23 Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't stop. I'm the I'm definitely the y apper. 00:04:25 Speaker 5: Of the group. But we all we're all we're all very you know, outgoing in our own right, and uh, you know, we kind of shared the stage with each other, so it's kind of like a playoff of each other kind of thing. 00:04:35 Speaker 4: It's like Kathy and I I just said to Kathy. She said that to you. 00:04:38 Speaker 2: It's like Kathy somebody saying you were quiet, Yeah, very shy. 00:04:46 Speaker 5: Someone else had the spotlight that day and I just was playing the wing. 00:04:49 Speaker 6: You know, it's adjustable roles. You got to be able to do it. Everybody. 00:04:56 Speaker 1: Well so, and I'm loving this, But you still didn't answer the question did you you have did y'all not just did y'all have lots of dates in the d R You said you saw. 00:05:06 Speaker 5: No, we we were only there for three days. Three days. 00:05:10 Speaker 4: You went that far for three days? 00:05:13 Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean they I mean they played for daylight. So it wasn't like it. It was nice, you know, it was like four days. 00:05:20 Speaker 6: But you know the last. 00:05:21 Speaker 3: Travel then all right, so we do we do? 00:05:24 Speaker 1: Andrew, since you're not going to give me any scoop hair, we're moving on. Uh uh, we do. 00:05:31 Speaker 2: We're going to get to the scoop catch. 00:05:32 Speaker 1: Yeah, we're going to get to scoop. We're going to force it right out of here. But we do a question of the day. So my question to you today is what is something you wish you knew about dating when you were younger? And by younger, I mean twenty nine. 00:05:48 Speaker 4: When you were first out. 00:05:51 Speaker 5: That's a good question. That's a good question. 00:05:57 Speaker 6: That's a really good question. 00:05:59 Speaker 5: Something. 00:05:59 Speaker 4: What do you know now that you didn't know then about dating? 00:06:08 Speaker 5: Oh? 00:06:08 Speaker 3: Since then? 00:06:10 Speaker 5: It's hard to It's hard to say because there's so many different things that have changed. I feel like one of the biggest things is emotions, uh, for the most part, being able to communicate that with another person. And you know, sometimes I feel like I always have put my emotions on the back burner just to make sure that the you know, I'm like, I'm gonna say people pleaser, but like just to make sure the vibe is okay. 00:06:34 Speaker 2: It's a protect thing too, right. 00:06:36 Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a protect thing. And also I want to make sure everyone's having a good time, and I never wanted to ruin the vibe. 00:06:42 Speaker 6: So I would say, if I have something. 00:06:44 Speaker 5: On my mind, I would speak and I would communicate that obviously in a perfect tone to where he understands it, rather than me, you know, talking at them. So I think that was a big I'm sorry. Yeah, I think that's the biggest thing for me, is being able to communicate my emotions. 00:07:00 Speaker 6: Younger would have been probably helped me a lot more and. 00:07:03 Speaker 3: Opening up the news, says Andrew, it's not too late. 00:07:07 Speaker 4: Yeah, well actually yeah, he just said he realizes it. 00:07:10 Speaker 1: No one other thing before we get into some other questions, because we really want to hear about your life. 00:07:16 Speaker 3: On your Instagram. 00:07:18 Speaker 1: It says, I got all excited when I looked at your Instagram because it says that you're a you're a footballer, and went, oh my cause I love soccer and I was soccer. Sorry, oh I know, because I asked. They said you need to change your Instagram. A footballer to nine tenths of the world means you are a soccer player, not a point. 00:07:38 Speaker 5: That's the point though. You know, you get people to ask questions, well he played soccer, was like, no, I play actually football because I played in Austria and people think I played soccer in Austria, but no, I actually played American football in US. 00:07:48 Speaker 6: That gets the ball rolling, you know. 00:07:50 Speaker 1: Now, Okay, does this mean you and I have a date? Is this what's going on here? 00:07:55 Speaker 5: Cathol Es Right now it looks like we're going salsa dance and maybe in Madrid. 00:08:01 Speaker 1: Watch then, and I speaking of Spanish to get a spy, so you're in luck. 00:08:06 Speaker 5: I want to do a lingo. I'm gonna catch up. 00:08:09 Speaker 2: So tell me who were the guys that went with you? 00:08:13 Speaker 5: Justin Greg? Like I said, it was our four year of meeting each other when we met each other on the Katie season the Bachelorette. So we were like, oh, let's just do this. You know, it's a perfect time world. We have nothing on our schedules right now. 00:08:29 Speaker 3: So. 00:08:32 Speaker 5: You know they do Greg. Greg does a lot of dancing. He does a lot of dancing. But you know some people like it, you know that's that's. 00:08:42 Speaker 1: So Wait, do you have to be a good dancer to get a date with you? And with all you guys? Is this part of it? 00:08:48 Speaker 5: I would say no, more so me, I would prefer good dancer then, you know, I feel like anyone's probably gonna be on their dance level. 00:08:57 Speaker 3: Are you a good lead? 00:08:58 Speaker 4: Can you direct really well? Strongly? Y? 00:09:01 Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm strongly. And as long as you're having a good time dancing, it's really not a serious thing. 00:09:06 Speaker 3: When did you learn to dance? 00:09:08 Speaker 6: You know some people would say it's you know, it's in my. 00:09:12 Speaker 2: Jeans, but I would say born with. 00:09:15 Speaker 5: People, always always was dancing, And like I, like I said, I'd taken a like into the Latin culture. So that's kind of how that came about. 00:09:27 Speaker 3: Wow, can you cook? 00:09:29 Speaker 5: You know what? 00:09:31 Speaker 6: I If you guys knew what I eat to day, you would not like it. 00:09:34 Speaker 3: Tell me, I want to hear what do you eat? 00:09:36 Speaker 6: I eat yogurt in the morning. Uh, and then I'll have some almonds. 00:09:40 Speaker 2: You and Kathy are a match. That's it, Kathy, that's it's like a bird. 00:09:47 Speaker 5: And then for lunch, I'll have a sandwich maybe or some two boiled eggs, and then for dinner chicken. 00:09:53 Speaker 6: And sparagus and rice every day. 00:09:56 Speaker 5: Well, as of right now, I want a severe diet. Why cut back from what I from my activities that I was doing. 00:10:03 Speaker 2: I got a little heavy, So okay, so have you lose five pounds really quick? 00:10:08 Speaker 4: I have to eat asparagus, chicken, and rice every day. 00:10:11 Speaker 2: With new boiled eggs and yogurt. 00:10:14 Speaker 4: And seven almonds. That's gonna do, honestly. 00:10:17 Speaker 5: Yeah, and you got to stay disciplined by it. It works for me whenever I need a quick you know a little fast and get back into shape. 00:10:24 Speaker 2: So yeah, yeah, pork, rolled egg and cheese on a toasted bag. 00:10:30 Speaker 1: Old all right, all right, enough about food. Good lord, enough about food. He's in shape. That's all we need to know. I want to know who would you want to be roommates with those guys you just. 00:10:42 Speaker 5: Said honestly, like like for life or like. 00:10:46 Speaker 3: Just okay, whatever your answer. 00:10:50 Speaker 5: Yeah, I would take those guys roommates, and you can include Trey as well. I would also I would also take you know, maybe a female roommate. That's like not the. 00:11:01 Speaker 1: Okay, that's okay. So wait a second. Now I'm going to ask you. Are you I guess you heard the Brendan and Serene news. 00:11:09 Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was crazy, crazy good friends with Serene. I had no idea. 00:11:14 Speaker 1: Well, now you know, so, have you gone on a date with any Bachelor National alumni that we don't know about? 00:11:20 Speaker 3: I'm writing a book. 00:11:22 Speaker 2: Are you willing to tell us? 00:11:24 Speaker 5: I wouldn't say I've gone on a date, but I actually I've gone on a date with a couple well recently. I actually it's the reason I kind of like paid attention to the season a little bit. 00:11:37 Speaker 2: Uh. 00:11:38 Speaker 5: There was a girl who I had talked to before she went on the show. She's a good friend, we're good friends, Like it was nothing serious. We had like like a little fling, but rose from Chicago, Chicago small town. So but yeah, she actually told me she's going on the show. Was like, oh, no way, that's crazy. So that's one of the girls that I guess. That's some kind of tea we had. We had a little fling for a little bit. 00:12:00 Speaker 2: But yeah, I have a question, who, if anybody, would you want to switch lives with for a day? 00:12:08 Speaker 5: Lebron James Good. 00:12:12 Speaker 4: I don't like it. I like, yeah, of course, why not? 00:12:17 Speaker 5: Right? 00:12:19 Speaker 4: And you know, I love how close you are with Fascilla Nation. 00:12:21 Speaker 2: It's just like Kathy and I and and people reach out because they love us, all of us, you know what I mean. So you answer people and you fill them in what they're when they ask you questions always, you. 00:12:37 Speaker 5: Know, I like things. I'm very approachable and I'm very. 00:12:44 Speaker 3: You know, you're handy and handsy. 00:12:48 Speaker 5: I don't just walk up and touch people. 00:12:50 Speaker 8: Okay, that's not hands talking about. 00:13:03 Speaker 2: Okay, Waka tell me about hash Brown? 00:13:05 Speaker 3: Hash Brown the dog tell us. 00:13:09 Speaker 1: There he is there, he's in the voice change Oh. 00:13:17 Speaker 4: My too cute Brown? 00:13:24 Speaker 3: Hello hash Brown? How old is Hash Brown? 00:13:26 Speaker 6: He just turned on his birthday? Is in January as well. 00:13:29 Speaker 3: Oh and what kind of dog is Hash Brown? 00:13:32 Speaker 6: He's a English bulldog in Australian cattle dog. 00:13:35 Speaker 3: There is not a drop of English bulldog and that. 00:13:38 Speaker 5: Dog full English bulldog. 00:13:42 Speaker 1: You know what, I need to see the papers on that. I'm not buying that. 00:13:48 Speaker 3: Okay. 00:13:48 Speaker 1: So wait, you clearly love this dog more than you know you're dating the dog. So who would you let? Who would you let babysit? Hash Browns? 00:13:59 Speaker 6: Well most of the timebody. 00:14:02 Speaker 3: Oh jeez, you're one of those guys. 00:14:04 Speaker 5: Here moms like it's my kid, so she thinks she has a grandchild. So that okay, yes, yeah. 00:14:16 Speaker 1: Okay, So I want to get back to uh, you're about your dad. But but before that, like you, you're pretty public. You live a public life on social media. How because we all struggle with that, how do you decide what is public and what's private? And frankly, especially you know when it comes to your romantic relationships Because a guy's as handsome as you, I'm sure has a long. 00:14:45 Speaker 5: List flirting with me. 00:14:48 Speaker 2: I'm telling you, I'm writing this down, I'm recording. I just want to recording. 00:14:53 Speaker 6: I love to be able to control my own narrative. 00:14:57 Speaker 5: So if I get out in front of things, and I think that's important to me. So if like, if I'm with someone I want to be, I don't want to keep it as as quiet as possible because I want to be able to control the. 00:15:10 Speaker 6: Narrative that people are going to and I think that's important. 00:15:14 Speaker 5: It kind of gives you your own power, and that's kind of that's that's everyone's gonna say what everything want to say, and I know what's true, and then when I say my truth, I try to be as as as open and honest with people as possible and I hope they respect that. And that's and that's all I can do. 00:15:30 Speaker 2: Like when you ask somebody out, you go on a date, do you tend to go somewhere that's a little more private, so there's not a bunch of bands. Yes, Like let me feel this first, you know, Yeah. 00:15:41 Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I mean, but I mean at the same time, I feel like I'm kind of out of it a little bit, you know, I'm not as like you know, I've been just three years now, and so it's kind of peaceful. 00:15:53 Speaker 6: People don't really care as much anymore, which is nice. 00:15:56 Speaker 5: Oh we care, well, people will just wait until after you're done with your date, and you'll be like, hey, I just want to say I you know, I loved youring the show, so that that's awesome. So like that's kind of shifted from like freshly being off the show and people are like to let. 00:16:09 Speaker 2: Me know about you. Are you fall in love quick? Are you a slow burned? Do you believe in love at first sight? 00:16:16 Speaker 7: You know? 00:16:17 Speaker 5: Uh? I I am a true romantic when it comes to these things. 00:16:23 Speaker 4: Now we're gonna match. 00:16:24 Speaker 6: Here we go, Okay, yeah, I'm obsessed with rom comms. 00:16:28 Speaker 7: Me. 00:16:30 Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm obsessed with rom comms. So I I it doesn't matter how it happens, as long as it feels special to me. If it's a fact, if it's quick, you know, I I'll feel a certain way. I'll know. And if it's a slow burn slow burn, sometimes you you always know, but you're you're just like I just want to make sure everyone feels comfortable and we're moving at the I always like to go at the woman's face. I don't want to like put them in a position where you know, they feel like they're sped up or have to do everything that like abides by my lifestyle, you know, I'm very adaptable. 00:17:04 Speaker 6: I'm very available to me. 00:17:06 Speaker 3: Oh do you hear that he's very available? 00:17:09 Speaker 5: Yeah? 00:17:10 Speaker 1: Okay, so I have I have some more questions. Speaking of your day and life, I know you broke up with backup last year. 00:17:17 Speaker 3: And a couple of things. I mean, anything you want to share about that. 00:17:21 Speaker 5: I mean a little bit. 00:17:23 Speaker 1: I'd loved here. But in researching you, because you know, I did you. I loved what you said about green flags because Susan and I talk a lot about red flags, get up and run for the door, but you you talk about green flags, and I loved I think it's it's not something that people really recognize all the time, that seeing how your potential partner interacts with your family and your friends and can they adapt to the situation. I read that, I thought, oh my god, that is genius. So, you know, kudos to you on that. I love like that, appreciate that. 00:18:01 Speaker 5: Thank you. 00:18:01 Speaker 6: Yeah, I think it's the most important thing. 00:18:03 Speaker 5: I think it is. 00:18:05 Speaker 6: And when they when you can leave them alone, they don't really need you there and they can still hold your own and enjoy themselves. 00:18:10 Speaker 5: That's what I'm looking for, you know, everyone, you know, I do love to be attached to him at times. But I just want to make sure that you feel comfortable with around my family and my friends, and that's that's the most important to me. 00:18:22 Speaker 1: Well, I hope that guys your age are listening to that, because I really read that and I went, oh, my gosh, I had to give you a shout out for that because that's it. But but now I'm going to ask you a heart question because you and it seemed like you broke up because and you know, this is an issue in Bachelor Nation. It's been an issue on The Golden Bachelor. You know you it seems like or the narrative seems like it was, you are in Chicago and you love Chicago. You said that you want to make that ultimately your home. So is that really what broke you to up? 00:18:58 Speaker 5: Uh? You know, part of it, you know, and then you know it's maintaining a long distance relationship while also having to work through other things. 00:19:08 Speaker 3: Just it just. 00:19:08 Speaker 5: Piles on because you know, over phone, over text, you can't communicate how you want to communicate things, and you know, it just got to a point where you know, it's just it was put the best for both of us if we just you know, separated and kind of Okay, well that's that's we're great friends. Everything's good. 00:19:25 Speaker 3: Okay, that's generic, but I'll let you off on it. But there's the. 00:19:31 Speaker 4: Long distance relationship. 00:19:34 Speaker 5: Well okay, there was just there are disagreements about things that we just didn't see eye to eye on and that was mainly. 00:19:40 Speaker 2: That was literally, So it wasn't just distance. You think that can be done? 00:19:44 Speaker 6: No, no, no, yeah, no that I could definitely do distance. 00:19:46 Speaker 5: But once there's like. 00:19:48 Speaker 3: How do you feel about Austin, Texas? I love? 00:19:55 Speaker 4: Okay, so can we talk about your dad for a sec. 00:19:59 Speaker 3: Yeah. 00:19:59 Speaker 2: One of the things you said, your goal has always been to be the greatest father to your kids, and you want people to know that you have forgiveness in your heart and that is so so important. 00:20:15 Speaker 5: I know. I you know, you go back and forth and like things where you just get really mad about it and you have to think about it and you're just like, okay, well look at it in a different route. You know, some people like my best friend you know, lost his father and you know what I mean. So it's like there's opportunities that I can forgive my forgive and. 00:20:38 Speaker 4: Think he wasn't there at certain times of your life that you're. 00:20:43 Speaker 2: It's a struggle. 00:20:44 Speaker 5: It's slow, it's a slow process, it's a slow burning and you know, I'm I'm moving forward with it. I'm gonna stick to it. And you know, like I said, we've hung out twice now and both times have been great. That he's met my friends. They were here for Saint Patty's that he was here, uh like the day before, so it. 00:21:00 Speaker 3: Was were you able to see him while he was in prison? 00:21:04 Speaker 6: See, I'm just growing up. I don't know what it was about me. 00:21:09 Speaker 5: I was just in grind mode and I was just only thinking about the future and I couldn't go that that part. I don't know. I don't know what I would say anger. I was just saying, like I can't. I can't worry about something that you know that. Yeah, so like you're in there, that's what you have to worry about. I'm not worried about what you're doing in there. I have to focus on my life out here, and I think, like I put pin the paper with sports and do whatever I can to make my life successful. Do you have siblings, Yeah, I'm the baby. 00:21:43 Speaker 3: So am I Another thing we have in common. 00:21:45 Speaker 2: So with man these two. 00:21:49 Speaker 3: How many How many siblings do you have? 00:21:51 Speaker 6: I have three, one girl and two boys. 00:21:55 Speaker 3: Do you watch out who your sister's dating. 00:21:58 Speaker 5: My sister's the oldest, so she's like. 00:22:01 Speaker 4: He has no control? Then who you would allow to date your sister? 00:22:07 Speaker 1: Okay, so when you're dating, which you know you're you're you're going to be dating, you're not dating. 00:22:15 Speaker 3: By the way, would you go back on paradise. 00:22:18 Speaker 6: If if if offered, I would definitely take a look at it. 00:22:21 Speaker 5: I think that's something that's got a unique You know, you can't really get like a month straight with someone in the real world because uh, you know. 00:22:29 Speaker 6: You got work you got to do. 00:22:32 Speaker 5: So this is like, you know, people say, oh it's sped up. Yeah, but actually I'm getting more time with this person than you would get on a regular basis. 00:22:40 Speaker 2: So you get pretty far on paradise. You get a lot more time than you would on. 00:22:46 Speaker 5: Yeah, for sure, you have the most time with someone. 00:22:49 Speaker 3: So do you think you could find your person on paradise as possible? Yeah? 00:22:54 Speaker 2: Hey, anything possible. Literally, if you think you could find your person on a goal, I mean. 00:23:01 Speaker 5: Yeah, what a golden beach talking about? I want to go to the Golden Beats. 00:23:05 Speaker 1: You know what, if I go to the Golden Beach Andrew, I'm gonna say, can Andrew please come because I need to take sauce lessons. 00:23:13 Speaker 3: That's what's happened there. 00:23:15 Speaker 4: And come on down. 00:23:19 Speaker 3: So okay, So wait a minute. 00:23:20 Speaker 1: You you said you're perfect first date would be a long walk or going to a Chicago Cubs game. 00:23:28 Speaker 3: Yeah, change, is that still where you are? 00:23:30 Speaker 6: That's still where I'm at. 00:23:31 Speaker 5: I mean, I've kind of met uh people in the middle. I do not like dinner dates. I really don't tell me why. I just feel like it's just it's too intimate. And one, you know, you're it's like too intimate, too intimate, like serious, It's like you're. 00:23:51 Speaker 4: Looking at each other. 00:23:52 Speaker 6: We're talking about like four year plans. 00:23:55 Speaker 5: I don't want to get into that, you know. I like, I like doing something that's an objective, like we're doing something. 00:24:00 Speaker 6: Rather than just sitting there and you know, hey, how's that? 00:24:04 Speaker 5: You know? 00:24:05 Speaker 7: Stir fries a good want some topic I want to go like And that's the thing. Also with the Bachelor Man, they've given me the worst dates. 00:24:15 Speaker 5: If I was in Paradise, they put me in a Margarita Bowl while people are jumping off yachts and jetski in and and riding four wheels. Who's who's doing this to me? The thing that I would do in a date, like, I would like walks. I say walks because like, if I haven't met them organically, I would like, oh, let's go get a walk and then we can just you know, bop into somewhere like maybe ice cream the cases on our route. But if I met you, like a night out one time, and I'm just like I'm asking you out, then I would we would go do something activity. We won't go to dinner. 00:24:48 Speaker 2: I like activity, that's good activity. 00:24:50 Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean okay, I like it. 00:24:53 Speaker 5: But I get a lot of I get a lot of flag for it, though I really do. Why I don't know, because I mean, you know, sometimes it's like this narrative that, oh, you got to take a girl to dinner and you got to pay, and I'm just like, you know, I don't like that because that feels like it's you're forcing my hand. 00:25:09 Speaker 4: I want to be like, let's go do whatever we want to do. 00:25:12 Speaker 5: Just go do whatever dinner and then if dinner's like, hey, should we get dinner later, I'll meet, we'll meet back up, and we'll get dinner. That's how I want it to go. 00:25:20 Speaker 6: I don't want it to be expected. 00:25:21 Speaker 5: I don't want you to just like right expected and. 00:25:27 Speaker 1: No, no, no, I need you. He's not inside of box, Susan. I'm gonna explain this so everyone understands. Do you know why Andrew doesn't want to do dinner because he does not want to see his He does not want his date to see that. He orders boiled chicken and sparagus. It's like, you know, would you like the filet mignon with the Holland days and the and He's like, no, I'd have like boiled. 00:25:54 Speaker 6: If we go out to eat. I actually have really good days, especially in sushi. 00:25:58 Speaker 5: If we go get some soup. 00:26:01 Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, okay, they'll tell me in your words right now today, describe a perfect relationship for you. 00:26:19 Speaker 6: Perfect relationship, what would that look like? 00:26:23 Speaker 5: I would say balanced, being able to just play off of each other's emotions and where we're at. 00:26:33 Speaker 6: I think that's important to just find balance. 00:26:36 Speaker 2: Ladies out there listening, man has it together? 00:26:42 Speaker 1: Andrew, who do you want to see on Paradise if you go besides Susan and me should we be lucky enough to show up at the. 00:26:48 Speaker 5: Twenty year Olds. 00:26:49 Speaker 6: I don't know the names, that's the problem. I just know the faces. 00:26:53 Speaker 4: Somebody you've seen somewhere. 00:26:56 Speaker 5: I mean on this I've watched. 00:26:57 Speaker 1: Yeah, like from gen season, I mean from uh whose seasons? Like what give us a season? 00:27:05 Speaker 4: We can find them. 00:27:06 Speaker 5: I've seen majority of the seasons. I ain't gonna lie to you. I just it's just like. 00:27:11 Speaker 2: It's your you know what I mean. 00:27:14 Speaker 5: It's like it's tough to say. 00:27:16 Speaker 4: I wouldn't mind meeting her. I wouldn't mind. 00:27:18 Speaker 3: If she was there. 00:27:19 Speaker 2: I'd like to get to know about her. 00:27:22 Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, all right, so Andrew, one of the things we do is we read fan questions and we give advice. And since you seem to be so grounded, a bit handsy, but grounded, we're gonna get you to give some advice with us. Okay, all right, you want to go, Susan. 00:27:45 Speaker 4: Sure, Okay, this is from Michelle. 00:27:48 Speaker 3: Hi. 00:27:48 Speaker 2: I listened to your podcast weekly and listen to every episode. 00:27:53 Speaker 4: Thank you. 00:27:54 Speaker 2: I need some advice about an odd situation I'm in with my neighbor. I'm twenty five and I live by myself and my thirty seven year old neighbor recently, who also lives by himself. Recently got my number and started texting me daily. At first, it was nice and I was excited to have a friend nearby. It was all good for a bit, but the way he started teasing and quotations, teasing me over text and his jokes started getting more weird and rude. We started to hang out as friends, oh boy like. We would have game puzzle nights, and our building had a friends giving we both attended. He was always way more pleasant and lovely in person than over text, but the texting has gotten insufferable. If I don't reply right away, he texts again. Additionally, his apartment faces my parking spot, so every time I come home, I get texts like what did you get me? Or why didn't you say hi? It's kind of creepy. He even comments on my packages. I tell him it's weird, but he insists he's just teasing. He also constantly makes rude generational digs. Because we are twelve years apart. If he doesn't respect my age, why be friends. I told him, if he had such a problem with me or my age, we don't need to be friends. All of the joking and overbearing texts have got to stop because to me, this isn't teasing, it's just creepy and exhausting. Sincerely, mind your MF business? 00:29:49 Speaker 3: What says you, Andrew? 00:29:50 Speaker 5: WHOA, Yeah, you know, there's a good there's a restraining order you can also. 00:29:56 Speaker 4: Yeah, I would not. 00:30:00 Speaker 5: But here's one of the biggest things is I feel like to be honest with that. 00:30:06 Speaker 4: It sounds like an age. 00:30:07 Speaker 5: Of like letting people down easy. Nah, just be blunt, just be like, hey, listen, not interested in talking in that manner. 00:30:15 Speaker 6: We can still be friends. But this is kind of going a little bit too far. 00:30:20 Speaker 4: And it sounds like he's stalking her. 00:30:21 Speaker 5: He's watching, but he's she's gotta she's gotta say something. And then the next time he continues to do it, then that's when you got to go and start taking some action legal stuff. 00:30:33 Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm with you, Andrew. 00:30:34 Speaker 1: I think it's it's creepy, it's it's borderlines, it's borderline stalking. 00:30:40 Speaker 3: I think it is stalking. 00:30:41 Speaker 1: And I would have a restraining order or I consider moving like I wouldn't put up with that. 00:30:47 Speaker 2: Yeah, that's when I first started reading it, I thought, oh, maybe she has a little interest or something, and it was kind of cool. Twelve years is twelve years. It's I don't think that's a big of a deal. But as she. 00:30:59 Speaker 5: Goes, I've gotten my last back. That was that was eight year seven and a half. Actually age gap. 00:31:07 Speaker 1: Would you ever date not? I'm not directing this with me. Would you ever date an older woman? 00:31:12 Speaker 3: Or is it not? Have you dated an older one? 00:31:14 Speaker 5: We've gone on? 00:31:16 Speaker 3: Oh gone on dates? 00:31:17 Speaker 4: How much older? Is there a certain number? 00:31:20 Speaker 5: Five years? 00:31:23 Speaker 4: I date younger? 00:31:25 Speaker 1: I'm available, but she's not. 00:31:31 Speaker 4: I did meet somebody, But. 00:31:35 Speaker 3: What's the name that baby? 00:31:38 Speaker 1: We don't give out personally yet, we don't call her later. Okay, so Andrew, you are literally I'm being serious now you have you seem to be older than your years. 00:31:55 Speaker 3: You seem to have your ducks in a row. 00:31:57 Speaker 5: I get that a lot. Actually, you don't have friends. I'm the guy people go to when they have a little bit of issue, they want to talk it out. You know. 00:32:05 Speaker 6: I'm always there for people, and I feel like I have. 00:32:07 Speaker 5: A lot to you know, say, and I try to be honest with it with everyone, even if it's not in their. 00:32:13 Speaker 6: Not in their best interest. 00:32:14 Speaker 5: I was just all right, listen. 00:32:16 Speaker 1: Man, you're a good so now now since you are so wise, oh yeah, do you have Do you have any advice or question for Susan. 00:32:24 Speaker 5: And May any advice or questions? 00:32:28 Speaker 4: What do you want to ask us? 00:32:30 Speaker 2: If you have to interview us? What would you like to ask or give me? What I like besides Kathy's number, I guess you know, I get. 00:32:37 Speaker 5: I find it very interesting that you guys are you know, entering the social media space, which is really cool, very different for you know, obviously people of your your age, and I think, like I think it's amazing, and I want to know what are you trying. 00:32:54 Speaker 6: To do with your social media? 00:32:57 Speaker 5: I would love to just kind of hear or like any that's what you want like to I don't know for me, trying to maximize the following that you have and and kind of get people into you know, I. 00:33:12 Speaker 2: Think I think for both of us and Kathy you can answer for yourself as well. But when we came off that show, it was such power that we had to reach so many people telling them that life is not over at sixty. 00:33:28 Speaker 5: That's awesome. 00:33:29 Speaker 2: It's about making friendships and change careers, falling in love, whatever the case may be. You're not invisible. And we ran with that and people, We've reached a lot of people. How many strangers come up to us. 00:33:44 Speaker 5: Do you so? Do you think more people in their sixties and oh they're living again get on social media? 00:33:50 Speaker 3: Yes, I think they're trying. I've been on social media. 00:33:54 Speaker 1: I had a job where you know, I was on Twitter when it had one hundred and forty character max. You know you were even born then, but when first came out, okay, well so did I. But you know, I'm just because I had to for my work. But I will say to you for me, Susan's right. It's helping people, our age and our generation not feel invisible. Get up off the sofa, live your life. All those you know monikers that we've that we hear all the time. But I will tell you for me, My my personal thing is fitness. Uh, I'm a fitness free. I work out every day, I lift weights. I post that because I want people to see that. You know, fitness is is. It should be a lifestyle. It should It's a decision. It's not oh you're lucky, you're you know, you're fit. No, it's get up every day and how are you going to work out? Because I do it every day? And I want people and not at our age, to get fit. I want them to have healthier, better lives. So that's you know. I post a lot on on my Instagram, but my worklo look Kathy. 00:34:58 Speaker 4: Also, we don't mind being silly and filming. 00:35:02 Speaker 2: Ourselves what we do. 00:35:05 Speaker 5: Everyone loves to come at, you know, thirty year old men for being on social media. 00:35:11 Speaker 6: I just feel like, you know, when this fun end? 00:35:14 Speaker 5: You know, why is it? 00:35:14 Speaker 6: Why is it ever ever. 00:35:18 Speaker 5: Time? So that's why it's always been my issues, Like how do you guys see it when you're on social media? Do you feel like people are kind of judging you for being at an age being on social media? Or is it good? 00:35:29 Speaker 4: Some do know? 00:35:30 Speaker 5: Some do? 00:35:32 Speaker 2: We get some comments we do and we laugh. 00:35:34 Speaker 1: I coast everything, Yeah, I have to say, And for me, I can't speak for Susan. You know, one of the things about getting older is you don't really care these people sitting behind their computers writing horrible things about me or my looks or whatever, and Susan about whatever. You know, I'm like, there's there's negative out there, but I don't absorb it because I am confident in who I am and happy with who I am, and so it doesn't bother me. I think when you're younger, and I'm not saying you expressed it, but I think younger people are intimidated more impacted more by negative attention on social media, and I think as you get older, that's not as big an issue. 00:36:19 Speaker 2: I want my grandchildren like, if they're not popular on social media, it's a thing, you know, And I think that's sad, I really do. 00:36:28 Speaker 4: We didn't grow up like that, you know. 00:36:30 Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a lot more serious for young people, but like, yes, I feel like it should be unseerious for people. 00:36:37 Speaker 2: We have fun, you know what I mean? Did you ever see our coffee talk? 00:36:43 Speaker 5: If you don't. 00:36:45 Speaker 3: If you don't, are you following us on social media? 00:36:48 Speaker 7: No? 00:36:49 Speaker 3: Get your phone out? 00:36:50 Speaker 5: Wait? 00:36:51 Speaker 6: Oh wait no, I followed you back. 00:36:54 Speaker 3: Yeah, but I had to follow you first. You have to watch our stuff. We are. 00:36:57 Speaker 1: I'm just saying life, life is sure. Enjoy it right, right? 00:37:02 Speaker 5: I agree? 00:37:03 Speaker 4: Agree, Hey, we enjoy every minute. 00:37:07 Speaker 2: And the thing about getting older and for us, whether it's on social media, live on TV, it doesn't matter where we are. This is, as Kathy and I both say, the last chapter, hopefully the longest chapter, but in the best, the best chapter, because I don't worry about everything people say. I'm not here to please you. You, you and you. 00:37:32 Speaker 4: You make up your own mind. I'm living my life and enjoying it. Right now. We did all the hard stuff we raised our kids, you know. 00:37:42 Speaker 3: So with with all this love and peace that we're having. 00:37:47 Speaker 1: I really was hoping Andrew that you were gonna say Kathy, Susan, not Susan anymore. Kathy, I have the perfect guid for you. I'm going to send them to your Instagram. But since you didn't do that, this is gonna We're gonna have to wrap up this episode. 00:38:01 Speaker 5: Sorry. I just know. 00:38:33 Speaker 3: So in the. 00:38:34 Speaker 5: Meantime, I just do it. 00:38:36 Speaker 1: I'm going to see you in California again. We're going to play golf. 00:38:42 Speaker 3: So what does that have to do with it? 00:38:43 Speaker 1: Do you have fun? I no, If you play golf, that's all. If you haven't fun, that's that's it. 00:38:50 Speaker 4: The breakup. 00:38:52 Speaker 3: I'm sorry, Andrew. 00:38:53 Speaker 6: I didn't only play nine because it gets a little too hot out there. 00:38:56 Speaker 1: Oh no, no, that's when you start liquor on the back nine.
