AEW Weekly Wrap (Dec 22nd - Dec 29th), & Preview of Next Week & ROH

Early everybody, Welcome to another edition of the ae W Weekly Wrap Up.
I'm your host Ethan Black and today table d usual a e W stuff the
shows from last week and also uh this past that Wednesday's done, the New
Year' Splash night one, previous upcoming shows and then tubled some other stuff.
So before we go, let's get in the news very quick. Excuse me
as uh we got Daniel Daniel the deal bra I always screw the thirty name
Brians and Job Moxley and Techy what well Osprey are all gonna be at New
Japaper Wrestlings Russell Kingdom as Bridio is going on with use just go cut up?
Uh In Moxie and I'm counting on his browner it because he's technically signed
to ae W. You know his new tand dealers told I did the Animal
January, but those two Alliver David will be in a three triple threat match
determinally first ever IWGP Global Champion, so that one's actually be pretty excited.
That would be on January fourth. That would be Thursday, so Danielson and
Moxley will not be on down like that week. But anyway, let's hop
into the aw stuff as we're go, I start with nine two of Holiday
Bash, so we could go with the internationalnal. I watched Cashier Day to
Rocking around ten to fifty second via beach Break and tax to match weight at
the Kingdom's Matt David and Mike Benham defeating the Hardy's Matt and Jeff nine as

On this show, just watched the two title matches. Did we go over
to episode twenty eight of ew Collision. This will be the third night of
Holiday Bash, and by the way, this is the final Collision of twenty
twoy three because tomorrow night is war and by way I will do quick predictions
for world end. We have a love matches by the way spoiler. So
for the Blue League matches we had three diss of final staging. Brian Dalson,
who's coming with nine points, goes against Laudia Castinoi with six points,
so Danielson he could trust he has to win or draw to advance. Klaudie
w has to win and needs Eddie and Bertie King both to either lose or
go to a twenty minute time with draw for him to advance. But that
doesn't happen as Danilson and Claudia actually went to the twenty minute time with draw,
so Damison goes up to ten points while Claudie goes to seven, so
Claudia is eliminated and Brian Daildson goes with advances to the semi finals. Then
for the Trios tolls, Billy Gun and He acclaimed anty Boat's mass. Caster
vitains were actually Andretti in top flights Dante Martin and Darius Martin and nine makes
it eighteen seconds for a roll up on Dante Keith Fleet defeen, bringing our
six minut attach and Brian Kitchnie's delights big Bank catastrophe in the second Blue League
match, pretty much Bertie Kane Dooey who could advance. It's basically uh if
Danielson, Andre All lose well Kingston himself include all one. Basically I have

but Garcia gets his own. So Bertie comes in with six points in this
match while Garcia comes to with zero. But Garcia gets his only three points
on the board by defeen Bertie King at ten as twenty six to field roll

Julie Hart and sky Blue at nine minus two seconds via text on a
bomb on sky Blue and then even the final Blue League match of the Condo
Klassak with the winner will meet Brian Dales in the semi finals. So on
he will coming with nine points first, Eddy King's coming with six, so
Andre based the same thing as Brian Dales. He has to win or go
to a twenty minute time I draw to advance. Walt Kingston only needs a
win to advance and that's what he does at fifteen minutes and thirty nine seconds
via Nora Light's bomb. So he'll meet Brian DALs in the semi finals.
Quick brains from this show, so the Danas Claudio gets a nine out ten
for me. Trio's toal match was a five out of ten key first,
Brian Cage was a six out of ten. Garciaf proto he was seven out
of ten. The women's tag match was a six out ten and Kings offers
Andrea it's a seven out ten as well, and then we'll go over to
the first up two nights of the New Years match. That's what I'm just
going by. That's what they keep doing on their uh graphics there. So
for the show went live on the air, we had two dark matches,
so spending go to being twenty knees could maybe a future Ring of Honor taping
on it out anyway, an eight minutes that wait, the Trio Sham Seed
Claim and Billy Gotten TEAMO with Scott Taylor aka phours w W Scotti Too Haughty.
That was a pretty impressive. They defeated the Guns Austin Colin, Matt
Menar and JKT eight man tags match but we were in Orlando, Florida for
the show, by the way, so the opening match was a the first
up two semi final matches deep con classic from the Goal League saw. We
had a triple throat match. John Moxley gets one over J White and swarts
triple at twenty three minutes and fourteen seconds via death rider on J. White.
This was an excellent match to kick off the show. I'm actually,
by the way that in the cemi folisisk cover so that there was no tyle
on tu, no time limits. We must be a winner, which I
did. Like, I'm actually but I kind of wish Swerve was a vain
but I get why he didn't, and J White I kind of got he
did by us so obnestly I wasn't mad either way. I'm just kind of
nippicking. But this was a great match. Honestly, I can't say enough
good things about it. I actually thought Swerve had won a couple of times
where like with the house call and the swar stump. I did like where
mox so why he hit Swerve with a sleeper soup lex and then he makes
and swear broke up with the house call. I thought that was actually a
pretty cool way to break up a move. I like early in the match
they were browng in the crowd, I was saying, triple threats is no
DQ, and then I like on the match and it were wait, I
she thought White had a one here Moxley, but he got and then hit
him with the play runners, so up fancies to the falls at World's end
kind of figured I was gonna happen, but anyway, that's me. I
just wanted eight out of ten? Didn't we go come back from rush?
Right? Tounch flies backs where and Prince Donna I said he didn't even get
a chance to rest before the double how he wants to call classic so badly?
And then he said he said he didn't get picked, but Jay White
did, which is true. And he's tu about Keith Flee and he has
them to do a world to and I actually brought already had a contract for
him, as Princeident got said, because he didn't improve this, so he
said wash up. On Saturday, I swore I thought I heard saying on
Clinch that he was going to show up to don him. I guess maybe
time got change or something. That's probably way they could think of that's that's
probably the way they could think of. But yeah, so that match,
but I like all the full car and do quick for adictions like we did
the last few a w W pay per views. They were an a briget
it's on the stage introduced Marian May and honestly I kind of felt back from
because the crowd went dead on her and uh where they asked her actions after
that, and she sister's porn was Tony Storm and then she's announced her Davy

new year, and a Rehope basically changed the way as Tony Storm try attacker,
but basically Rehope takes both Luther and Storm out, went across Buddy and
then reholds up the ones saw the close of the segment not a bad sement.
I mean I felt like I said, I felt back from Ray because
she basically walked out to a dead crowd and then we go into the back
we're actually drying top Flight. They did tell about how they came up shortgains
the Trios champions and they basically itchuing open challenge and we see best friends walking.
That was interestchinger or guys who rocked down Trump Barretta and said they were
staying five feet away, and they make the match official for a rampage,
so we're verres. The Cassi did same thing to him last week before actual

the ball well drinking it ands his hydration. I did get a lot for
Dante, just looked at him like kind of weird, like okay, and

to Tonjoy in the ring and he's doing outbreaks for a box a week.
By the way, here in Canada, any Canadian listens, we have as
people as Canadians are, you know, we haven't thing called Boxing Day.
It's a day after Christmas Day. And then interest Don Cows family, So
Don Cows thought about it's been very difficult two weeks for him talk about the
whole canoe make of different sizes, uh sin causing well, excuse me sorry.

surprised to see Gavar back, as you know, he was at with Cutch

didn't know he was going to be here, and then basically we found out
that fourth picture was the whole fair with Gavar's baby in Gavar's arms. So
same Basic got offended that his baby was in the picture, and then Basic
dunkout started calling Kavar crappy father, so he and then I did like where
Kavar tell the most from could get where he'd be Omega Toye and Paris Deeen
Krischer. But Calous Oldership, honestly, that felt like more of a shoot.
I honestly, I'm not gonna lie, but that was a good line
for Gavara and then basically said he never heard from count I was from him
about his concussion. So basically he pushed him and then they beat him up.
Chris Arno makes a safe and then they both destroyed the portraits and then
all of a sudden, so basically they stare each other, they jergo off.
They both offer, uh, put their hands up, but they hug
instead. Honestly, I don't really get to find I like Staying Kabar,
but honestly, like I feel like he's just gonna be Jericho's like sidekicked the
rest of his career in HW like he I hope, so I hope it
shits a one time they just were they had to do a direction for Omega,
but honestly, like he needs to do better. I feel like I
don't know, I don't I just wish they just stay away from Joe for
a bip. So basically they get time for start some big bolt and then
lights go out. Staying Dara come to the ring and make the safe,
and then we found out learning the show will get eight man tag. Then
we go back to say training against with the King of Ron strown the real
board with all the crews were MGFS the Devil and basically Shawn sa He's gonna
prove his deul whethers tonight, tomorrow or whatever, because that's alright, Samon.
Their second match of the show, we go to the other semi final
match of the Conda Cless from the Blue League side. Eddie Kingston gets him
and over Brian Deals at twenty two minutes at thirty seven seconds feet power bomb.
Another great, great match between uh, these two guys. This is
the actually just the third time these these two faced up. They met,
uh. I believe was Wriam Page a couple of years ago. I think
it was sure in that eliminary torment I believe, don't fully quote me on
that, and then off second was about a month ago at the Condam Classic.
But this is a great match. I like the story where Danilson calls
Eddie a bum h pretty much saying that he's beat him twice in case has
never beat him, which is true. I did like where Danielson kept kicking
him in the head a couple of times and then Bright called the Kingston flips
him off. Uh, it's okay to two year you're again that's basics bad.
It's that power bom. I thought Dale's had won a couple of times
for the Pisyco knees and stuff, but this was a great, great match.
I would have too, So I liked this one a little bit better
than the triple threat match, but both of them are still great. And
then boxing gets basic, moxic has done to bring after match checks on Dalson
and then they have a great promo. Basically, uh Kingson was Tom Boxer
that he's a SIMPI like, basically saying he's like head trainer, He's not
a young boy like where Yuda. And then he said Saturday, the King
of the Bombs is gonna take a monster because everything he's had is gonna bring
his fighting spirit at World tim but before like Kingston, we'll talk about that.
Basically, Boxley wanted to give him best Missic Kings, the lot of
people who love him and anyone watching. He just say does care if a
loss, but served his best at Maxwell effort. Then by This would be
the third time these two guys actually faced off. The first time both times
were actually during the pandemic. The first was I believe in July. I
think it was the summer. In the second, I remember the second match
was the I quite match a full gear in twenty twenty, but so it
would be a third time. But like I'll do predictions at the ends world
that's the review and a basic. During the show, we were supposed to
sit down between T. T. Cham christ Am Q Lexi there, but
Adam Colevin's show up for the first part, so Christi cas I'm a professional,
which I did get a laugh out of that, and then we founded
that Copland basic it's a journal that we knowed that. But I think right
before the women's match, Copeland Folly shows up and basically they had a big
brawl in the hallway. I believe I think that was tape last week because
during the breakup we saw the fan ericson Brian Keith because they were in Texas
last week, so we saw them. I don't know if it was.
I mean they could have. Maybe they're secretly something we just don't know,
but who knows. But honestly, the bra was alrighty. I mean,
like how Christia Cage kept saying he was a professional and Copeland didn't show up
with so I got a laugh out of that. But I thought it was
pretty good. There were a third match of the show, the women's match.
This was actually a really fun match. Skully Bho gets to win our
Chris stall Lander at nine minutes of fourteen se via Avalanche Coleblue off the middle
rope. Uh, they said, I'm coming to This is Statlaer's first loss
in nineteen months, nineteen or twenty but almost almost in two years basically,
but Sam mean Stalin was pretty out for most of that with injury. I
like told Blue Prayer wach uh like two or three co Blues actually get her
to win. But this this was a fun match. I better than I
expect it was gonna be. I just want to six out Tim and the
kind of protect stat Layer too because uh Julia Harts uh tag show off the
top rope and that's why she hit the avalanche. Cole Blue did out to
match. They kept tacking Staler to w runs the same as Sky Blue and
Julior Maker up the right. They got stuff as because a hunting from TVs
title. But I'm pretty I'm I'm I'm pretty glad, but I'm glad that
we're getting more storylines with the women's division. I'm pretty we're slowly start baby
stats. But we're getting there. We're getting there, and we'll get to
the ring of Marks Wall the woman's TV talk because they actually did talk about
torment action, which we'll get to the backstage training, but get it's what
the outcast ads Rubies afore thoughts are coming Rapatrick relationship Fear Force where it cuts
Arobine and she has the president of Ruby and introduced Hardy Cameras obviously no longer

So when I asked her about the partnership and basically don't get an answer
as hard just randomly whoops out, Butcher Knife kind of got like Chucky Tiffany
Five's there, honestly. And then we go to the main event for the
Ring World titles eight MGM and Smojo, who was originally supposed to be against
two mass Men but as m Jims whenever we here's Mojo's music, but he
doesn't come out as we go to back where Joe was taken out. So
I'm just a screw it on the dependent tiles by myself, and I hated
this this so when this started, this started at ten o'clock eatron so at
one o'clock eleven p of my time. So basically we went I think five
minutes over time. I think we went, but I didn't. I didn't
like this one went the mask man hit heat take her for the super quick
we admit of forty eight. Honestly, people are saying that it's the Kingdom,
and honestly I kind of agree. I think it is the Kingdom that's
under those two masks, but they would, but I'm one positive. I
am actually go alad the warring ring World taxi talls are off MJF, so
after the and PI the conprotect because during the match MJF took the mask off
or try to take off the mask while them outside. Then we saw mass
Man number three basically come under the ring and it hits engine with the pipe
on the injured shoulder, so it protects him a little bit. And then
we see small Jobs down in the ring. I've chased him away, helps
him out. We see amags the de wil unscreen and then we see a
message playing last You're doing business with you, and Joe attacks him and lay
him with the muscle buster and holds up the eight or World to with his
foot on MJ's chest, the close out the twenty twenty three year Smash nine
one in the final, uh ded in my Up twenty twenty three honestly good
show. Honestly, I'm gonna get this one of seven out of ten.
My top two matches are the goal the Connic classes in my finals Almo Michigal's
Scott basically watched those three. Honestly, just skip the last app basically World
time if you don't have time to watch the women's matches. Watched the two
semi for those are really great matches. I thought the last, like really
really last twenty minutes after the women's match kind of suck because I'm honestly,
I'm kind of tired of this double storyline, like this needs to be revealed
soon, Like I'm just getting bored of it. I'm not gonna lie,
but that was uh the New Year's match cared So tris match best Friends for
top Flight actually Andretti Riby so for Ma Spear, We're your defensive peer tuggets
match. I know the update World end Card December three, so Finals Goalieue
Winn dram watch for bleak winner Eddie Kingston I'm Goal Kingston winning and JF de
Vinci gets Mode Joe. Tough one, but I'm gonna say m J Firi
Mo Joe does win for the woman. Tony versus ReHO, I'm going with
Tony Storm rotating eight man tag team Adeo Rick starts Big Bill in the dodcast
Luy this one was powerless and called Fletcher but called Fletcher River got taken a
Gover replace with the Keshta. They go A gets christ Ja saved guitar Darbion
Sting. I'm going with Jericho guvars Allen Sting. Then first off two pre
show matches for the ft W title, Hook Defense against We're an FTW rules
match. I'm going with Hook retaining. Julia Hard defends the t TV Abadant.
I'm going with Julia Hard to retain t T Tall and Lie no d
Q match. Christian Cage defense is Alan Copelam Another tough one, but I'm
going with Christian k Shall retain Swords. Struggle for Keith Fleet not a tough
one. I'm going with Swerve winning, sorry about that anyway. Struggle firs
Keith Lee another tough one. I'm gonna go with Swerve winning. Andre Elofs,
Mirror and go On Drawdy winning a Lotti's are actually kind of tough to
pick. Twenty man Battle of turning down to the T T toe another precial
match. We don't know who the twenty men are. I'm just gonna throw
a name out there. I'm just gonna go with. Uh, just had
a name in my hand now, just figured that I'm just gonna go with
all heading go. I don't know, I'm just throwing a name out there.
And then they actually added this last night last night. Uh, it'll
be a eight man t have a future in the participants. For Connor,
it will be Biblo com Back Clubs, Brian as a clod Cause only to
Mark Briscoll and Dale Garcia. They go j y J Lee, the Brodie
King and uh ruche. I'm going with BCC, Briscote and Garcia at the
whim and only match made for the first time twenty twenty four is Mari May
making her debut, but that is eight e w No, We'll go over
to the very episode forty four. They did take sixteen matches, but Daily
aired seven, so I'm actually the other nine are going to be on next
week's episode. The Rosy, Eli Leon two mins one at via Beast Bump
