We'll get into the retro, but <v Speaker 1>we talked about the one the week after this where <v Speaker 1>it's the debut of the SmackDown Fistial. This episode is <v Speaker 1>the final episode with the SmackDown Ovaltron where they destroy <v Speaker 1>the set. <v Speaker 2>Ryano gores Chris Jericho and it is a clip that <v Speaker 2>they show forever. <v Speaker 1>It's a moment in time, a SmackDown classic, you could say. <v Speaker 2>Before we get into that, we have the Deadlock updates. <v Speaker 1>Oh and do we have updates for you right now <v Speaker 1>on the Patreon that's patreon dot com slash Deadlock BW. <v Speaker 1>A lot of stuff going on. So <v Speaker 1>that is all on the patrearon that's patreon dot com <v Speaker 1>slash deadlockpwn. Now let's get into some retro wrestler. <v Speaker 2>All right, let us get into WWF SmackDown for August ninth, <v Speaker 2>two thousand and one. <v Speaker 1>It's been a minute since we actually covered this kind <v Speaker 1>of area of WWF. I feel like we haven't done <v Speaker 1>a WWFO one in like a year. We have covered <v Speaker 1>the SmackDown that happens just after this, by the way, <v Speaker 1>So this one that we're watching here is the final <v Speaker 1>Ovaltron quote unquote as you may know it as SmackDown, <v Speaker 1>and we'll see why that is here and how they <v Speaker 1>explained why this goes away. But the one we cover <v Speaker 1>the week after this is the first you know, SmackDown <v Speaker 1>fist era one, so just a week before that. But <v Speaker 1>that review was like five years ago. <v Speaker 2>Entirely different lifetime ago. I was excited to get into <v Speaker 2>this one though. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, me too. I mean, you know, it's a <v Speaker 1>an invasion alliance Austin and the such. You know, see <v Speaker 1>what's going on. All the stars are here, dude, I <v Speaker 1>mean they you know, how did this fail? How did <v Speaker 1>this fail? I don't know. But before we get into <v Speaker 1>this SmackDown, let's talk about what was going on in <v Speaker 1>the World Wrestling at the time with the Wrestling Observer newsletter. Now, <v Speaker 1>of course, as I mentioned in the previous you know, <v Speaker 1>five years ago. We probably talked about some of this <v Speaker 1>in the Observer before. But for those of you that <v Speaker 1>just joined us or want to refresher, there's a couple <v Speaker 1>of things here we're going to go over from The Observer. <v Speaker 1>August six, two thousand and one, the actual purchase price <v Speaker 1>of World Championship Wrestling from Time Warner was two point <v Speaker 1>five million dollars. According to the figures released this week <v Speaker 1>by WFE and its annual Securities and Exchange Commission filing, <v Speaker 1>the WWF actually spent less money on buying their rivals <v Speaker 1>than the two point nine million dollars it spent on <v Speaker 1>an nhr A race car, or the money it's spent <v Speaker 1>annually just for the travel of the inner circle to <v Speaker 1>and from television tapings in the private jet. The WWFS <v Speaker 1>purchase you'll also include a three year undisclosed amounts contract <v Speaker 1>that the company must purchase a minimum amount of advertising <v Speaker 1>on AOL Time Warner owned media companies. Yeah. So, I <v Speaker 1>mean the fact that, you know, obviously things. You know, <v Speaker 1>I'm sure there's other amounts that were thrown in here <v Speaker 1>there or the other, But I mean, two point five <v Speaker 1>million sounds insanely low. Obviously, race badass. You know, that's <v Speaker 1>a good question, Horace car It had to be. It <v Speaker 1>seems like this is like a yearly thing they were doing. <v Speaker 2>Oh that's cool. <v Speaker 1>Some of these are kind of kick ass, dude. Check <v Speaker 1>this out. <v Speaker 2>Oh wow, this is like crush hour dude. <v Speaker 1>Oh, here's like a picture of the rock. Okay, so sorry, <v Speaker 1>I know we're audio podcast ones are like a stone <v Speaker 1>cold one still clones on the hood on the side <v Speaker 1>that says want to raise some hell. Then there's a <v Speaker 1>gold rock one. Dude does a cane one. <v Speaker 2>Nice. Wow. <v Speaker 1>Oh these are kind of cool, you know what, man, <v Speaker 1>I mean, this might be way better than buying WCW <v Speaker 1>now that I look at it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I would let WCW live and then buy another <v Speaker 2>race car, maybe for the big show. <v Speaker 1>There's an undertaker. One's a triple h one. <v Speaker 2>Wow, they uh sean STACYAC racecar meat car. <v Speaker 1>Well. Speaking of ECW, by the way, has noted here <v Speaker 1>a few weeks ago, Meltzer says an Odious Inc. I <v Speaker 1>don't know if I'm pronouncing that correctly. A division of <v Speaker 1>acclaim officially filed on seven to twenty six an attempt <v Speaker 1>to take over all ECW assets based on a nineteen <v Speaker 1>ninety nine deal between the company and Paul Hayman. In <v Speaker 1>nineteen ninety nine two thousand and Odious Inc. Keptw afloat <v Speaker 1>when it's financial situation was precarious, with a series of <v Speaker 1>loans that ended up totaling one point five million dollars, <v Speaker 1>which in exchange, gave the company fifteen percent ownership in ECW, <v Speaker 1>more than whatever is left of ECW is currently worth. <v Speaker 1>The contract game of claim a security interest in ECW, <v Speaker 1>which an Odious Inc. Is claiming as a secured creditor <v Speaker 1>with the loans not having been repaid, gives them the <v Speaker 1>legal right to foreclose on ECW. In doing so, a <v Speaker 1>claim would garner control of the remaining company assets, which <v Speaker 1>would include whatever pay per view revenue is still owed <v Speaker 1>by in demand, as well as the trademarks which have <v Speaker 1>suddenly become far more valuable due to the WWF angle, <v Speaker 1>as well as the videotape library. And there's a little <v Speaker 1>more as we get into this next one about a <v Speaker 1>claim in ECW. But we've kind of talked back and <v Speaker 1>forth about, you know, throughout retros of a claims of <v Speaker 1>alvement in the ECW stuff. And there's a part here <v Speaker 1>in this next one that's pretty crazy in terms of <v Speaker 1>how much the game sold. I don't do you have <v Speaker 1>a just before we I look, you know, talk further <v Speaker 1>about it. How much do you think they made on <v Speaker 1>the ECW game? <v Speaker 2>How much money? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? <v Speaker 2>Mmm, well I'm gonna imagine they made about seven million dollars. <v Speaker 1>Okay, that's fucking actually not a bad shot at all. <v Speaker 1>This was so we're talking about hardcore revolution. By the way, <v Speaker 1>from The Observer, August thirteenth, two thousand and one in <v Speaker 1>WF News. The Invasion pay per view on seven twenty <v Speaker 1>two in Cleveland, based on preliminary reports, looks to have <v Speaker 1>done a one point six By rates, it would be <v Speaker 1>seven hundred and fifty thousand buys with making it if <v Speaker 1>these numbers hold up the fourth most purchased pro wrestling <v Speaker 1>pay per view in history, trailing only the past three WrestleManias. <v Speaker 1>W fucking crazy. <v Speaker 2>That's cool, that's I mean, I hope it doesn't well <v Speaker 2>that well. <v Speaker 1>That just because the show dude like people were definitely <v Speaker 1>fired up for the invasion and thought, like, you know, <v Speaker 1>Goldberged's thing, We're gonna descend from the rafters together for <v Speaker 1>this show, right, there had to be some which was <v Speaker 1>very reasonable. I would have thought that. In fact, I <v Speaker 1>was hoping myself. <v Speaker 2>Oh shit, it's Bilvis Wesley, Chili Willy. <v Speaker 1>But yeah. So the plans at this point, and there's <v Speaker 1>no times table again, seem to be at least by <v Speaker 1>February that wfe's wrestling operations will be divided into two <v Speaker 1>separate companies, each with primetime weekly television and each doing <v Speaker 1>monthly paper events and separate house show tours. It seems <v Speaker 1>there was always, even you know, going back to here, <v Speaker 1>an idea to do a split, you know, not necessarily <v Speaker 1>what it ends up being like Rolling SmackDown split, but <v Speaker 1>a company split where they do fucking separate stuff, which <v Speaker 1>as a fan, I will say, super exciting. I thought <v Speaker 1>the draft shit was the coolest shit ever. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>I don't think they expected all the WCW fans to <v Speaker 2>turn three sixty and walk away whatever. <v Speaker 1>I mean, they could do whatever they want. Really, yeah, <v Speaker 1>really walks through that some bitch, dude, No, there was <v Speaker 1>I mean, I mean, how could you write this invasion paper? <v Speaker 1>You just did Gangbusters? Like that's a test thing. I <v Speaker 1>don't know why I just said gang Busters. I've never rocket. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>that's the mixture of the two. This favory did gang Bangers, <v Speaker 1>and like, fucking why would you think that this would <v Speaker 1>not be a huge success. Back to ECW News here. <v Speaker 1>James at ECB News at the time, and Odius loaned <v Speaker 1>the money in nineteen ninety nine. This is just more <v Speaker 1>acclaim info here. At about the time, ECW was starting <v Speaker 1>on TNN, which at the time seemed like a potential <v Speaker 1>turnaround for the company's popularity and visibility, even with nothing <v Speaker 1>of the sort actually materialized. The company was three point <v Speaker 1>one seven to two million dollars in debt, yes, three <v Speaker 1>point one million dollars in debt and on the verge <v Speaker 1>of folding. The loans in question given by a company <v Speaker 1>that had just purchased fifteen percent of a company stock <v Speaker 1>for one point five million dollars would be considered funding <v Speaker 1>to keep the company alive at various points when they <v Speaker 1>needed payback of previous debts, to keep from going under, <v Speaker 1>or to make payroll. During the fiscal year ending on <v Speaker 1>August thirty first, two thousand, the e B Hardcore Revolution <v Speaker 1>game grossed for ACCLAIM approximately seventeen million dollars, which explains <v Speaker 1>why the company would want to keep ECB alive. By contract, <v Speaker 1>ECW should have received at least four hundred and twenty <v Speaker 1>five thousand in royalties, which was never paid, likely because <v Speaker 1>they held it based on the money owed back from <v Speaker 1>those loans or money advanced, which explains why Hayman's estimation <v Speaker 1>of the money owned to Annotius was one million instead <v Speaker 1>of one point five to five million as the company <v Speaker 1>had claimed. So Hardcore Revolution made seventeen million gross. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I would imagine that games back then probably didn't <v Speaker 2>cost as much money as they do today to make, <v Speaker 2>so not to make finding a hot license and then <v Speaker 2>just slapping it on a game. I don't know how <v Speaker 2>many games I remember from when I was growing up, <v Speaker 2>where it was just like every one of these games <v Speaker 2>is the exact same game, but it's just. <v Speaker 1>A diff and ip, and I was cool with that. <v Speaker 1>It was how it was, Yeah, right, like that's what <v Speaker 1>else was I gonna get? And game prices were pretty <v Speaker 1>much the same as they are now. I mean, obviously <v Speaker 1>there's you know, deluxe editions and stuff that make stuff <v Speaker 1>much more. But I was going through some magazines the <v Speaker 1>other day that I had got, and like I was <v Speaker 1>even looking at WWF war Zone for example, on N <v Speaker 1>sixty four was like sixty bucks, and the I think <v Speaker 1>the PlayStation version was like forty five or forty nine, <v Speaker 1>ninety five or something like that. I think all the <v Speaker 1>PlayStation ones were always cheaper than N sixty four, I'm <v Speaker 1>assuming just because the disc and jewel case were less <v Speaker 1>expensive than big box and cartridge. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, with inflation, I guess that would change <v Speaker 2>quite a bit. Oh sure, yeah that also. I mean <v Speaker 2>Nintendo games right now are like eighty dollars. <v Speaker 1>I think, oh fuck, you're right, good lord, that's true. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I mean the so continuing here, however, on April sixteenth, <v Speaker 1>long before w BAFF revived the name ECW on seventy nine, <v Speaker 1>WBF made its first offer to purchase intellectual property as <v Speaker 1>well as company business records, assets and even the existing <v Speaker 1>talent records or contracts. Excuse me, they would want to <v Speaker 1>take over, similar to what they had done in the <v Speaker 1>deal for ww weeks earlier. Since this attempt to purchase <v Speaker 1>included trademarks and making that offer, they seem to be <v Speaker 1>contradicting their current position. WWFE has explained this by saying <v Speaker 1>they made the initial offer for those things they believed <v Speaker 1>that bandoned simply to avoid possible litigation and as part <v Speaker 1>of doing practical business. The WF claiming its offer was <v Speaker 1>seven hundred and thirty seven thousand, five hundred dollars, although <v Speaker 1>it would actually only pay one hundred and fifty thousand <v Speaker 1>dollars for them, with the remainder of what it claimed <v Speaker 1>it was paying being composed of giving up its five <v Speaker 1>hundred and eighty seven thousand, five hundred dollars debt for <v Speaker 1>its own loans to HHG. The WWF made a second, <v Speaker 1>similar offer of one hundred fifty thousand dollars on June <v Speaker 1>twenty six, two weeks before shooting the angle to revive <v Speaker 1>ECW's name in Atlanta, before making a third offer of <v Speaker 1>two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. A notdy has claimed <v Speaker 1>on eight to seven the property was worth more than <v Speaker 1>what the WBF had offered and a better deal could <v Speaker 1>be had elsewhere, So they're using easyw shit on TV <v Speaker 1>on this episode and they don't own it. Last few <v Speaker 1>things here in WWE news. There was almost a huge <v Speaker 1>news story at the WWF House show in San Diego <v Speaker 1>on August fifth, Bill and Steve Goldberg were given front <v Speaker 1>row tickets, and they and many of their friends argued <v Speaker 1>very spiritly about whether or not they should go. A <v Speaker 1>lot of them wanted him to go because it would <v Speaker 1>be such a scene, figuring huge Goldberg chants and people <v Speaker 1>expecting confrontation even if he just sat there as a <v Speaker 1>fan and did nothing. Others who won the argument realize <v Speaker 1>there's no point in pissing off the WBF, as whether <v Speaker 1>by design or not, the possibility of upstaging the show <v Speaker 1>would do so, since ultimately the day will come when <v Speaker 1>he at least seriously negotiates to work with them one. <v Speaker 1>I mean, Goldberg starting a ruckus at a WWF House <v Speaker 1>show in two thousand and one sounds very funny, too. <v Speaker 1>Very excited at the news that there is a Steve. <v Speaker 2>Goldberg, Yes, Steve Goldberg. <v Speaker 1>What's his deal? Is that heir? <v Speaker 2>That his brother? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? I think so nice? Maybe it jump the rail <v Speaker 1>and spear meet. Jim Ross met with Ray Massiro Junior, <v Speaker 1>and Meltzer says I believe Hove intued Guerrera the better <v Speaker 1>of the two. On August eighth, before backdown in Los Angeles, <v Speaker 1>they contacted Massio Junior, which means he'll likely to be <v Speaker 1>offered a deal after his Time Warner contract expires. Nobody <v Speaker 1>denies Gerrera's talent, but the drug issue from Australia may <v Speaker 1>still have be a roadblock, combined with the fact WWF <v Speaker 1>really isn't looking at hiring new people as a general rule, <v Speaker 1>and from the Observer August twentieth, two thousand and one, <v Speaker 1>Misterio met with Jim Ross and John Louronidis on that <v Speaker 1>was almost Uncle on August seventh. At this backdown show <v Speaker 1>in Los Angeles, Hoove and Tude came with him, but <v Speaker 1>he did not have a meeting scheduled. Neither were offered contracts. <v Speaker 1>Massial Junior who called the WF to set up the meetings, <v Speaker 1>since his Time Warner contract at about three hundred and <v Speaker 1>fifty thousand dollars per year expires on December thirty. First <v Speaker 1>was told to keep his Time Warner deal and keep <v Speaker 1>in shape by wrestling indies, and that in January, which <v Speaker 1>is when his contract expires, there was a chance they <v Speaker 1>would bring him in. He was told, they have too <v Speaker 1>much talent, and we aren't looking at tiring new people <v Speaker 1>right now because I have so many newcomers they have <v Speaker 1>to work getting over. So there was at least some <v Speaker 1>talks here, you know, with with Ray at the start <v Speaker 1>here just damn like I mean, and it probably is better, <v Speaker 1>like he comes in at a sweet time. That probably <v Speaker 1>worked way better for him than coming in right now <v Speaker 1>and probably getting just beat up by Bradshaw. Like but <v Speaker 1>still Ray is kick ass. I'm surprised he wasn't like <v Speaker 1>one of the first guys they were like, oh fuck, <v Speaker 1>we need this guy. We can make money with this guy. <v Speaker 2>Hoo. <v Speaker 1>He makes it too hoovey eventually makes it yeah, like <v Speaker 1>he once he come in like five oh six. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I was gonna say probably four, but five you're <v Speaker 2>probably right there. <v Speaker 1>By the way, there was a part here I actually <v Speaker 1>did miss here Guerrera, who basically came along for the <v Speaker 1>ride spoke with j R. A catering and asked for <v Speaker 1>a job which wouldn't exactly qualify as adhering to proper protocol, <v Speaker 1>and Ross praised him and told him to keep in <v Speaker 1>contact in January and at that point they wouldn't have <v Speaker 1>a more lengthy. <v Speaker 2>Also, sorry about the Rock Ferry and you that one time. <v Speaker 1>He should apologize for the Rock Sea on his gimmick <v Speaker 1>more than. <v Speaker 2>Very right who met with the rock? He said, what <v Speaker 2>the fuck is wrong with you? <v Speaker 1>Well, that is it for the Observer. Now let's talk <v Speaker 1>about WF SmackDown August ninth, two thousand and one. <v Speaker 2>All right, let's get into w WF SmackDown for two <v Speaker 2>thousand and one. There it is the intro. <v Speaker 1>Good to do it? I just you know, it's been <v Speaker 1>six hundred episodes or whatever, but like I hear it <v Speaker 1>and something goes in my brain that I got to do. Wait. <v Speaker 1>I don't know what it says, don't know what it means, <v Speaker 1>but you know the dude. <v Speaker 2>Like gets up in Charlie's face on uh, smiling friends <v Speaker 2>with the hands, That's what the intro is. He watches them. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>so we get a cold open here for SmackDown. Steve <v Speaker 2>Austin is here to make a pep talk to the alliance. Uh, <v Speaker 2>these were always great. <v Speaker 1>And the only way he could do so is standing <v Speaker 1>on top of a table in the middle of the room, <v Speaker 1>which you know, that's he can only assert power that way, <v Speaker 1>of course. And all the stars are here, like Hugh Morris, <v Speaker 1>Canyon DDP, Taz is here, which Taz is like he <v Speaker 1>should be getting his commentary notes ready, Like commentary is <v Speaker 1>a hard fucking deal here, man. You can't just walk <v Speaker 1>up and start talking into a microphone. <v Speaker 2>He was in the Jake and Speedball outfit. <v Speaker 1>Holy shit, he was. He would get really mad if <v Speaker 1>you said that, why just his thing? <v Speaker 2>I don't think so, dude. I think that was Jacob's speedballs. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, you can take it up with Jake something in <v Speaker 1>his face. You can take it up with Speedball on <v Speaker 1>a vlog, Dude, Speedball. I'm not fucking with either of <v Speaker 1>those guys for real though, No fucking way. So Austin's <v Speaker 1>on top of this table, He's got the WBF title, <v Speaker 1>He's got his Jeene shorts standing on the table. <v Speaker 2>He was staying on the table and Steve Austin walked <v Speaker 2>in and told him to get his JABRONI ass off <v Speaker 2>that table. <v Speaker 1>Get my bags. Wait, it was just incredible there for real. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Justin Credible was in the room. <v Speaker 1>I did not see that you might be making that <v Speaker 1>ship up. <v Speaker 2>Oh maybe, yeah, I was for sure. <v Speaker 1>He was a huge part of the invasion for you. <v Speaker 2>Uh yeah, what was he doing? Where was he at <v Speaker 2>on this show? <v Speaker 1>I don't know? What the fuck would I know? Why <v Speaker 1>would anyone know? <v Speaker 2>Dude? <v Speaker 1>The writers on the show don't know where Justin Credible is. <v Speaker 2>They're not asking you must be waiting around for the <v Speaker 2>nw A to make their debut on this show so they. <v Speaker 1>Can bring their bags in. <v Speaker 2>Well, it's you know, it's something. <v Speaker 1>Austin was. I mean, Austin won't allow a guy wearing <v Speaker 1>jean shorts and bald in the same room as them. <v Speaker 1>He's just not letting it happen. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean that is his look. <v Speaker 1>One to won his look. <v Speaker 2>Well, I mean, the real star didn't get signed and <v Speaker 2>that was all politics and play. That's why Hogan wasn't here. <v Speaker 1>He's in HWA or whatever. <v Speaker 2>He's waiting for the nWo to debut. For some reason, <v Speaker 2>everybody is this is my. <v Speaker 1>Chance, much more exciting angle. Even though this is like <v Speaker 1>the hottest the company will be for a really, really <v Speaker 1>long time. I still gonna wait. Walston stands on this <v Speaker 1>table and he says, I look around this room. I <v Speaker 1>say unity, I see it on your chest. You're flying <v Speaker 1>the W c W the E c W colors. Hold on, <v Speaker 1>how do you got e c W. We don't own <v Speaker 1>NAT's tas he's in Jacob's speedballs gear. Hey brother, what <v Speaker 1>the fuck? Oh you don't like speedballs? <v Speaker 2>Oh? Wait? Is that you justin just incredible? What get <v Speaker 2>him out of here? You get that shut up a bitch. <v Speaker 1>Out of my room? <v Speaker 2>What kind of name is just. <v Speaker 1>No Steve? My name is Justin. I don't understand justin Incredibles. <v Speaker 1>The old name will never be an impact player here? <v Speaker 1>No I was The impact means Lance you suck? Okay, <v Speaker 1>that's something away from the end of you, Ale hair what. <v Speaker 1>Austin says that it makes him feel good inside that <v Speaker 1>they've come together and made him realize the w fain <v Speaker 1>so strong after all, and he wants to single out <v Speaker 1>somebody right now, my lovely wife Deborah or Deborah last <v Speaker 1>Monday night called Leeda Redhead running down the good name <v Speaker 1>of Stone Golden Steve Austin and ain't gonna happen to <v Speaker 1>ston't caught her anybody here because we stayed together. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'm looking at you, justin Sean. <v Speaker 1>Tommy. He says, you know, one of his proudest victories <v Speaker 1>in recent memories was was beating Matt Hardy and I <v Speaker 1>stunned his little girlfriend Lida. Why because I wanted to <v Speaker 1>Why because I think she's weak? Why because I think <v Speaker 1>she's drashed? Why because I stunned her for each and <v Speaker 1>every one of you guys like you Tommy Dreemer, and <v Speaker 1>I stunned her for Bubba Ray. I stunned her for <v Speaker 1>Lance Storm. I stunned her for Landstorms, shitty partner? <v Speaker 2>Where the hell is Prince Aya Ko? <v Speaker 3>He was supposed to be here? Where the Hell's Bride knobs? <v Speaker 3>I watched w C w C Bride Knops. <v Speaker 2>Why not here? Water Hell's Bray Mastereo Jr. <v Speaker 1>I was walking through catering and I saw Hoovey Where <v Speaker 1>Here's movie? <v Speaker 3>I saw a movie talking dude, you gut it? <v Speaker 2>Stan all A Tably does the kenne Omegata and the City. <v Speaker 2>You wouldn't be working here if I had to sell <v Speaker 2>you in it? Waw because I think you're trash. Wow, <v Speaker 2>because I think you're wee why. <v Speaker 1>Because you absolutely suck ken. <v Speaker 2>I love this. I think that heal Steve Austin is awesome. <v Speaker 1>Dude, Okay, like I mean, as a fucking fan, I <v Speaker 1>don't give a shit about this tank in Wrestling Forever <v Speaker 1>or whatever you may think. I thought Austin as a <v Speaker 1>heel is awesome. Like this guy is fucking out of <v Speaker 1>his mind. <v Speaker 2>You know, I wrote something very similar. I don't know <v Speaker 2>where I wrote it down in these notes here, but <v Speaker 2>I show the same sentiment as you. That's that's sort <v Speaker 2>of where I fall into. <v Speaker 1>So Austin talks about you know, he's he's got a <v Speaker 1>wrestle kurt angle at the pay per view and he says, <v Speaker 1>what am I gonna do? We Oh? I guess he <v Speaker 1>was doing one here because he drops some once here. <v Speaker 1>What what You're damn right? I'm gonna whoop his ass <v Speaker 1>and tonight the WMF is coming for everybody in here. <v Speaker 2>Do you understand me? <v Speaker 1>They'll bring it down our neck, watch each other's back, <v Speaker 1>fly your colors, go out tonight and open up again. <v Speaker 1>A whoop, bash stoke gold Steve Austin style. Are you <v Speaker 1>with me? Yeah? Oh? I like that. Yeah, that's a <v Speaker 1>good one. Yeah, they go whop somebody's ass and they <v Speaker 1>all get fired up and that sets up our show here. <v Speaker 2>You know, my favorite part of this whole deal here <v Speaker 2>was that was Deborah doing the ad libs. <v Speaker 1>Dude, she like they wouldn't get fired up because they're <v Speaker 1>afraid of Austin, and Deborah would slim the table and <v Speaker 1>go the alliance. Fuck. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, you know I stunned Matt Hardy center the ring, <v Speaker 3>Center the Ring. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I loved that. I thought that was great. <v Speaker 1>That was pretty good. Debyone was fucking awesome into her <v Speaker 1>role here. Actually, like this period here, like from the <v Speaker 1>Wrestling the seventeen stuff, that's probably when she really starts <v Speaker 1>doing stuff with Austin, right like on TV's the Wrestling <v Speaker 1>in seventeen stuff, the Rock and then into the Invasion <v Speaker 1>where she's got the cookies. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, she has a bunch of memorable stuff. Yeah. I <v Speaker 2>thought she was great in her role here. And yeah, <v Speaker 2>like like we mentioned, I mean this whole He'll run here, <v Speaker 2>there's so much like there's so much nuance to the <v Speaker 2>stuff he's doing and even his entering work that we'll <v Speaker 2>talk about later on tonight. Yeah, man, just sweet. <v Speaker 1>Super smart stuff too, Like, m it's kind of we'll <v Speaker 1>talk about in the main event, especially, like the main <v Speaker 1>event of the show is super Austin being just a shitter, <v Speaker 1>like yeah, this is he's he's chicken shit, but he's <v Speaker 1>also like there's methodical fucking pace to what he's doing <v Speaker 1>and like, yeah, like I don't know, I really like <v Speaker 1>what he does on the show. <v Speaker 2>So we get the SmackDown intro. This is the everybody <v Speaker 2>on the ground one dude. <v Speaker 1>I uh so this collection the clips that they use <v Speaker 1>here for this intro felt foreign to me. It must <v Speaker 1>be maybe they were changing them near the end and <v Speaker 1>I just didn't catch it as much. Maybe this version <v Speaker 1>didn't make it into the game. But there's like a <v Speaker 1>there's a random shot of Big Show with his head steaming. <v Speaker 1>I don't know what that was from. <v Speaker 2>I like that. <v Speaker 1>And then there's also a random shot of Triple H <v Speaker 1>with the gloves on and a hat and a sledgehammer. <v Speaker 1>Looked odd and yeah, like just a bunch of clips <v Speaker 1>that aren't again video game clips, so I didn't recognize <v Speaker 1>them as much. <v Speaker 2>Michael Colin Taz welcome us into the Staples Center in <v Speaker 2>LA They say that it is sixteen thousand sold out <v Speaker 2>and it looks like it. There are signs everywhere in <v Speaker 2>this arena. <v Speaker 1>Dude. Yeah, this is the Staple Center in La So yeah, <v Speaker 1>packed packed talking out here. SummerSlam is ten days away. <v Speaker 1>What I like about these early you know, smackdowns, I <v Speaker 1>actually don't know for sure, and I can look it <v Speaker 1>up while I talk here, but you can there's you <v Speaker 1>can tell Taz hasn't found his commentary voice yet. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's right. <v Speaker 1>He's still kind of like promo Taz while having to <v Speaker 1>say full sentences instead of like the Taz that kind <v Speaker 1>of you know, finds his tone here. He uh. <v Speaker 2>I think it's when he stops being an active competitor <v Speaker 2>that he kind of figures it out more. He's still <v Speaker 2>wrestling still. <v Speaker 1>Here, yes, right, yeah, because he let's see. Wikipedia says <v Speaker 1>he began performing part time commentary on Heat in October <v Speaker 1>of two thousand. He did a He did the Rebellion <v Speaker 1>pay per view with JR. In December of two thousand. <v Speaker 1>He joined the SmackDown Team in February of two thousand <v Speaker 1>and one after Lawler quit the company, and then he <v Speaker 1>also became one of the trainers on Tough Enough that year. <v Speaker 1>Lawler returns to the company in November and resumed this <v Speaker 1>place's commentator, with Taz becoming a wrestler and a commentator, <v Speaker 1>and then when the company splits brands, Taz is permanently <v Speaker 1>SmackDown guy. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's weird, like Taz is a commentator for a <v Speaker 2>super long time. In my head, I always just think <v Speaker 2>of wrestler Taz when he Taz, he's been a commentator <v Speaker 2>for a very long time. <v Speaker 1>Has he been a commentator for longer? Yeah, than he <v Speaker 1>was a wrestler. Oh my. <v Speaker 2>Right, we're talking two thousand and one. He's a commentator <v Speaker 2>right now. <v Speaker 1>Ah old, oh wow. Fuck. <v Speaker 2>Well we have Stone Cold and the Damn Dudley's. They're <v Speaker 2>teaming together. Uh, they're taking on curd Angle on the <v Speaker 2>Hardy Boys Elimination tag team match tonight. <v Speaker 1>I love the graphic. I like the graphics. They did <v Speaker 1>a lot for the you know, the split the Invasion <v Speaker 1>versus WBF guys, where it was a split graphic with <v Speaker 1>the guy you know, you'd know who was on the <v Speaker 1>Invasion side because they had the Invasion background. That was <v Speaker 1>always cool. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I would love to see it on a CRT because, like, <v Speaker 2>these renders are so Crispy. I bet they look great <v Speaker 2>on a CRTTV. <v Speaker 1>Dude, you're right, they probably do. You should. I mean, <v Speaker 1>you have like six CRT TVs probably behind you right now. <v Speaker 1>You could easily have watched this on there. <v Speaker 2>I have the technology. I have an even bigger CRT <v Speaker 2>beside me. <v Speaker 1>You have a CRT that you have a og Gen <v Speaker 1>one Roku hooked up too. You could have watched this <v Speaker 1>all there for sure. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, dude, that's sick too, like looking that thing up <v Speaker 2>with the with the cable. Yeah, that was awesome. <v Speaker 1>Tell them what you first tried on the rokuz rt <v Speaker 1>TV TNA sent me a screenshout of Santino. <v Speaker 2>Santino on the CRT. Yeah, that's pretty cool. The first <v Speaker 2>match of the evening APA versus Kanyon and DDP WWF <v Speaker 2>Tag team title match. <v Speaker 1>Who better than Kenyon? <v Speaker 2>Everybody? <v Speaker 1>What an easy gimmick, right, That's fucking awesome. There's the dude, <v Speaker 1>it was over too, so over by the way. I <v Speaker 1>was surprised Kenyon gets his own entrance like he does. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, well he's the US champ currently. <v Speaker 1>That is true, but easily could have just you know, <v Speaker 1>had him second DDP. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I didn't even think they were going to team here. <v Speaker 2>I didn't think that was the team they were going <v Speaker 2>with here. <v Speaker 1>No, especially, I mean, shit, Jersey Try I had just <v Speaker 1>come out together. Goddamn. <v Speaker 2>Uh. <v Speaker 1>I mean the gimmick, like I said, is working. There's <v Speaker 1>people in the crowd with everybody's better than Kanyon. <v Speaker 2>Signs Invasion MVP shirt on too. <v Speaker 1>I love that fucking shirt, dude. He uh. I mean <v Speaker 1>he's another guy. You know, we don't talk about him <v Speaker 1>too much on the show. I mean, but one moves <v Speaker 1>guy too, even you know w CW and and you <v Speaker 1>can even talk about it here. Anything they give this guy, <v Speaker 1>he made work. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, he made the most of his minutes and that's yeah. <v Speaker 2>I also can't tell you enough how much I love <v Speaker 2>the APA. It's one of my favorite tag team gimmicks ever. <v Speaker 1>I'm watching even just their work, dude, Like I'm watching <v Speaker 1>them here, and you look at any of the other <v Speaker 1>matches on the show, maybe maybe Stone Cold might be <v Speaker 1>the closest one that kind of lays it in like <v Speaker 1>these guys. But these guys are so snug and it's <v Speaker 1>so fun to watch. It makes their matches so much <v Speaker 1>more interesting when you know that, like, oh, like this <v Speaker 1>feels like a fight for their lives here. <v Speaker 2>Jim Johnson also made a great song. I mean the <v Speaker 2>APA song come on like it fits them so. <v Speaker 1>Well, it's fucking it's fantastic. Yeah, there they are the <v Speaker 1>tag champs here. Like you said last Monday on raw Uh. <v Speaker 1>Speaking of DDP, this is funny as hell actually so, <v Speaker 1>I guess DDP set up a shrine of Sarah, Undertaker's <v Speaker 1>wife at the time, of course, in the Undertaker's locker room, <v Speaker 1>which Undertaker got really mad about for some reason. You <v Speaker 1>would think he'd be super excited that somebody like you know, <v Speaker 1>made a shround of his wife. Is very nice, gets <v Speaker 1>look at his wife. No, he hated this. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's the intent. <v Speaker 1>Then quote unquote DDP strolled into the locker room and <v Speaker 1>Undertaker immediately starts kicking his ass until the real DDP <v Speaker 1>shows up and hits him with some weapon. I don't <v Speaker 1>know what it was. They don't say what it was, <v Speaker 1>and they legit describe it as some weapon on cobbentary. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean that is the real DDP. <v Speaker 1>And then there woopen Taker's ass and came no clips <v Speaker 1>into the room that chased them off. Where the fuck <v Speaker 1>did he come from? <v Speaker 2>He was just hiding. <v Speaker 1>Taker stores him in a closet in the brother's a <v Speaker 1>destruction locker room. <v Speaker 2>He just had like a hint that somebody was gonna <v Speaker 2>make a Sarah shrine today. He saw him doing it earlier. <v Speaker 2>There's only a few locker rooms. <v Speaker 1>My name is Kane, that's all he ever says, or <v Speaker 1>something like a Pokemon. <v Speaker 2>No cliffs into the room. My name is Kane. <v Speaker 1>Oh fuck ship, that's Kane, then upgrades the sucket later. <v Speaker 2>I mean, that would have been so fucking funny if <v Speaker 2>every time they talk, like, Undertaker cuts a whole promo <v Speaker 2>about the learning Tree and then Kane grabs the mic <v Speaker 2>my name is Kane. It would have gotten super over <v Speaker 2>its double sounds. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it fucking would have. <v Speaker 2>FRUK and DDP start things off. Fruit takes over immediately <v Speaker 2>and they stay on top for most of this match. Here, <v Speaker 2>DDP tags out. Kenya comes in and he keeps trying <v Speaker 2>to do these moves off the top and he gets caught. <v Speaker 2>Every time Bradshaw comes in. He starts clubbing Canyon to <v Speaker 2>shit immediately. Canyon, by the way, once again tries to <v Speaker 2>climb the top rope and Bradshaw cuts him off and <v Speaker 2>hits a fallaway slam off the second. <v Speaker 1>Kenyon is taking everything. He is getting obliterated. <v Speaker 2>Here, stop climbing the rose. <v Speaker 1>Usually it's the opposite, right, like the guy can uh. <v Speaker 1>He hits a few off the top, and then the <v Speaker 1>other guy learns now, APA already knows what you're doing, <v Speaker 1>and you gotta stop. <v Speaker 2>That was me on WCW Revenge the other night, just <v Speaker 2>trying to figure out how to get a finish or <v Speaker 2>climbing the ropes and getting cut off every time. <v Speaker 1>Man, it's horrible. If you go for a suplex from <v Speaker 1>the apron at any point in ww NY Revenge against <v Speaker 1>the CPU, don't fucking. <v Speaker 2>Bother our difficulty. It's over. <v Speaker 1>You're cooked. Cook. <v Speaker 2>Kanyon goes to grab Ferok's leg here. This allows DDP <v Speaker 2>to glomb them. Uh. DDP and Kenyon follow up with <v Speaker 2>a belly to back neck breaker combat. <v Speaker 1>Well, reverse three D gets some heat for the boys <v Speaker 1>against you know the Dudley's in here for a minute. <v Speaker 2>Bradshaw comes in, Kenyon comes in, Bradshaw kicks everyone's fucking ass. <v Speaker 2>Just Bradshaw power slam for two. Well, wait a minute, <v Speaker 2>this is the loudest pop I've ever heard. Who the <v Speaker 2>fuck is that that's Test from the WWF. <v Speaker 1>Oh shit, that's wf's gold dust. <v Speaker 2>Oh my god, sucking from WCW. <v Speaker 1>Dude. I'm glad they said it was Test though, because <v Speaker 1>at first, the first shot they showed, I had no <v Speaker 1>fucking idea who that was. It was just a dude. Yeah, dude, <v Speaker 1>you could have been Edge, you could have been Jericho, like, <v Speaker 1>this could have been anybody. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Test comes in. I mean, this pop is nuclear. <v Speaker 2>I mean it's unreal, Like maybe my headphones were just <v Speaker 2>like don in, but I was like, holy fuck, how <v Speaker 2>over his test right now? <v Speaker 1>Well, dude, a million percent and no disrespect to mister Test, <v Speaker 1>but you know, this was the era of jump the rail. <v Speaker 1>Oh fuck, it's somebody from w CW, which is why <v Speaker 1>I think they had to say this is a WWF <v Speaker 1>guy on like for the show so people to get <v Speaker 1>too excited that it was like a guy invading. <v Speaker 2>They thought it was like Mike Sanders or something. Yes, <v Speaker 2>that's exactly who they would have. Oh my god, it's <v Speaker 2>really excited. <v Speaker 1>For Sanders and Reno. <v Speaker 2>Hey, they were on the show like ninety percent of <v Speaker 2>the time before they went out of business. <v Speaker 1>Before they went out of business, it's like a huge sentence. <v Speaker 4>Yeah, so test from the w w F. It's a <v Speaker 4>big loot on the route. Oh ship, that ship is <v Speaker 4>so good. What is this WF guy doing here on <v Speaker 4>this back though? <v Speaker 2>Well it cuts back to the ring. King of feeds <v Speaker 2>out from the corner and Bradshaw hits the clothesline from <v Speaker 2>Hell we had god, kenyans Holy fuck, he's swinging for <v Speaker 2>the fences on that one and he gets blitzed. <v Speaker 1>He's done. It's a butt. The referee is distracted because, <v Speaker 1>oh my god, toty km's test is here. <v Speaker 2>Holy shit, he has a belt. Yeah, so uh, clothesline <v Speaker 2>from Hell. WWF's test comes in. He hits Bradshaw with <v Speaker 2>the belt. Kenyon ends up pinning Bradshaw and we have <v Speaker 2>new WWF Tag Team Champions. <v Speaker 1>I was super excited about this. I actually love when <v Speaker 1>we get to see title changes like on the actual <v Speaker 1>weekly shows here because yeah, put some what happened on <v Speaker 1>pay per views and we don't cover those on the <v Speaker 1>pod obviously, So like I was like, oh shit, new <v Speaker 1>tag champion. That's pretty cool. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, DDP and Canyon the WWF Tag Team Champions a <v Speaker 2>little world here with WWF's Test. Wait, a minute. I <v Speaker 2>don't think that's WWS test anymore. That's WCW's test. <v Speaker 1>No, that's TNA's test. Soon. <v Speaker 2>He's been every promotion. He's in w c W slash <v Speaker 2>ECW right now, he's an e CW later, he's in today. Oh, <v Speaker 2>I mean, good god, man, he's been everywhere. <v Speaker 1>A true journey man, held no titles anywhere somehow. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's fucking kept cutting them off at the knees. <v Speaker 1>Man, it's always triple Ah's fault. When you think you <v Speaker 1>heard that pop earlier, that's a test tim when he <v Speaker 1>went to the back, Who the. <v Speaker 2>Fuck heard that pop? Hey, hey, back there, you hear <v Speaker 2>that pop? My name is Karine, Hell yeah, that guy <v Speaker 2>heard it. The rock has arrived. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, okay, it's fucking eight twenty bud. <v Speaker 2>Whose side is he on? Test? <v Speaker 1>What he's onf test side? <v Speaker 2>The terminator is here, man, Hey, calm down, you wanna <v Speaker 2>do all that though? <v Speaker 1>Be quiet, dude. <v Speaker 2>He didn't bring the ww blue belt. <v Speaker 1>I know what the fuck? He already sold that on eBay. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, he probably traded it for a WCW belt. He's <v Speaker 2>only had to see if someone's gonna arrive. <v Speaker 1>He heard him going nuts when tested up the rail. <v Speaker 1>He thought it was Mike Sanders. <v Speaker 2>Oh cool man. Turnero is going nuts over there. Don't <v Speaker 2>calm him down though. It's not that goal. <v Speaker 1>Hey, sit that fucking guy down. <v Speaker 2>So we have Perry Saturn versus Raven Yes, and I <v Speaker 2>see Perry Saturn come out. He gets the whole entrance here, <v Speaker 2>and my brain immediately goes to man, the game's did <v Speaker 2>a lot of heavy lifting for Perry Saturn. For me <v Speaker 2>as a kid, I mean, Perry Saturn, I played with <v Speaker 2>him so much. <v Speaker 1>His moves are so sick. <v Speaker 2>I wonder if that's that way for some other kids <v Speaker 2>growing up nowadays. <v Speaker 1>Oh, like they only like the guys because they their <v Speaker 1>move set and the games are sweet. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Like they play with them on the video games <v Speaker 2>a lot, so they become fans of them. <v Speaker 1>Channing Stacks Lorenzo, I can't. <v Speaker 2>Even come up with a fucking name. Channing Stacks Lorenzo <v Speaker 2>is fine. Like, I don't even know, man, I can't <v Speaker 2>even come up with one. Yeah right, Channing Stacks Lorenzo. <v Speaker 2>And they're like a big fan, you know. Yeah. I <v Speaker 2>wonder if like that's the deal nowadays. I imagine I <v Speaker 2>imagine that's the case. I don't know if so much. <v Speaker 2>I mean, I think the games were probably a lot <v Speaker 2>more popular back back then, yeah, than they are now. <v Speaker 2>But because I mean, I mean, how many times you <v Speaker 2>talk to somebody and they're like, yeah, I played the <v Speaker 2>WWF game on the N sixty four or I played SmackDown, <v Speaker 2>Here Comes the Paint or something, right, like everyone's played <v Speaker 2>at least that once or twice of course. <v Speaker 1>Oh but funny enough, fucking you know you were talking <v Speaker 1>about that, like, you know, people playing the games and <v Speaker 1>getting into wrestling or having their guys like, uh, you <v Speaker 1>know that Cappuccino Jones guy in WWE. He said, uh, <v Speaker 1>like w W All Stars got him into wrestling. <v Speaker 2>Oh nice, which is nuts. Yeah, I mean I think <v Speaker 2>he'll do well in WWE. <v Speaker 1>I think so too. You know, he's athletic kid. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>he's he's got something for sure. By the way, I <v Speaker 1>loved Perry Saturn Titan Tron being primarily moppy. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean that was a punishment, right, the moppy deal. <v Speaker 1>Yes, I think it was a mill threw that dude <v Speaker 1>on his fucking head. <v Speaker 2>Yes, Yeah, he beat up Mike Bell and they put <v Speaker 2>him with the mop and then Perry Satterer said what <v Speaker 2>if I got this extremely. <v Speaker 1>Over Yeah, whoops, they're gonna kill it at that. Don <v Speaker 1>you have nothing that you're just a fucking yeah all right, <v Speaker 1>Well gave MOPy a new hat here. <v Speaker 2>That was cool. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's what they said. They went shopping today in <v Speaker 1>La uh So two weeks ago and SmackDown Terry Runnelds, <v Speaker 1>who had been with Perry Saturn up to this point, <v Speaker 1>gave Perry an ultimatum and said you either picked the <v Speaker 1>mop or me, and Perry took the mop, and of <v Speaker 1>course he hit his catchphrase, You're welcome. <v Speaker 2>That is his catchphrase. That's also Damian Misdow's catchphrase. <v Speaker 1>One of the many guys that you like to play <v Speaker 1>as in the games, just kidding is was the in <v Speaker 1>the game. Yeah, he was sure, just not fun to play. <v Speaker 2>As Raven comes out here, caw caw caw cock cock <v Speaker 2>cock cock cock co. <v Speaker 1>We're gonna and we're gonna respect. <v Speaker 2>Him on this show, right, No, I love Raven. He <v Speaker 2>didn't have the sword tattoo. <v Speaker 1>Though, dude, he didn't have the sword tattoo, but he <v Speaker 1>was shirtless, which dude. <v Speaker 2>Wow, that didn't even strike me as odd. I don't <v Speaker 2>know why, but yeah, you're right. Usually, I think when <v Speaker 2>we see him on this show, especially in this era, <v Speaker 2>he's wearing like a comic book shirt or something. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, he has some kind of cutoff shirt or something <v Speaker 1>like that. <v Speaker 2>And he looked great. <v Speaker 1>Okay, he did look great, And I wanted to bring <v Speaker 1>it up specifically that he had no shirt on because <v Speaker 1>growing up, there was a figure set that included Raven <v Speaker 1>that always confused me because I had no recollection of <v Speaker 1>really Raven being shirtless. Here is the set here, as <v Speaker 1>i'll Sinny link. It is Raven, Shane McMahon, and Stone <v Speaker 1>Cold Steve Austin in a three pack. <v Speaker 2>Wow, even a Sea McMahon. Oh hell yeah, no, take <v Speaker 2>that off the shelves. <v Speaker 1>Take that off the shells. <v Speaker 2>Now, that's funny as hell. Wow. <v Speaker 1>I'd have no idea why these three are in a <v Speaker 1>fucking three pack together, but I thought it was motherfuckers <v Speaker 1>Johnny's favorites all on one pack. <v Speaker 2>So Perry Hot starts on Raven here where the suicide dive, <v Speaker 2>because he came out here with Terry. <v Speaker 1>Uh. <v Speaker 2>They get into the ring here, Perry starts unloading supplexes <v Speaker 2>belly to belly, like goes for a slingshot leg drop. <v Speaker 2>He misses, but he ends up supplex and Raven and man, <v Speaker 2>he's just going to town on him. <v Speaker 1>He is hitting every kind of suplex. There was one <v Speaker 1>that he does that I didn't even know how to <v Speaker 1>write down. I was like, Wow, he's kind of just <v Speaker 1>inventing shit here on throwing him around, I imagine because <v Speaker 1>they probably know they worked in three companies together at <v Speaker 1>this point, right east wwwn n here, so I imagine <v Speaker 1>he's pretty comfortable just dumping his dude on his head. <v Speaker 2>Raven then follows up with the finish of the last betchy. <v Speaker 2>He's out of the corner and Raven hit the. <v Speaker 1>Line dude, which uh oh dude, Okay, I fucking that's <v Speaker 1>what I wanted to bring up here because Okay, you're right, <v Speaker 1>that does happen. But do you know what happened to <v Speaker 1>the match before that that may have started this was <v Speaker 1>Bradshaw does Raven's DDT in that match. That's Raven's move. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean to be fair to Raven. This is <v Speaker 2>also one of his signature spots. <v Speaker 1>That's true. <v Speaker 2>It is Raven misses a dive and Saturn catapults him <v Speaker 2>into Mappy in the corner before hitting the Moss Cover <v Speaker 2>three Handle Family Gurdonza for The Wind. <v Speaker 1>I could not believe that Michael Cole called it that <v Speaker 1>on commentary, Like I was writing it down. I was like, well, <v Speaker 1>this is gonna be funny because they aren't going to <v Speaker 1>say this on the show. And Michael Cole says it, <v Speaker 1>I said, oh my god, this is crazy. <v Speaker 2>That's like his move in the video game. It's called <v Speaker 2>that too around this era. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, and that comes from the Jericho promo, right, the yep, <v Speaker 1>the list of a thousand holder on a thousand and one. <v Speaker 1>Excuse me, mm hmm. Yeah, that's nuts that they even <v Speaker 1>how like Vince on headset wasn't saying what the fuck. <v Speaker 2>Are you doing? <v Speaker 1>It? <v Speaker 2>Fit is gimmick? <v Speaker 1>Right? <v Speaker 2>He was crazy? <v Speaker 1>Yeah, that's that's true. He was crazy because he beat <v Speaker 1>up Mike Bell. He had a bunch of concussions. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>I guess that's all. <v Speaker 2>Yeah right, yeah. So Perry Saturn does the Rick Steiner run. <v Speaker 2>He did, Yeah, and then he realizes that Mapia is missing. <v Speaker 1>No, how could this fucking be? Who could have stole it? <v Speaker 1>He should have went up to Arnold in the crowd <v Speaker 1>and started like interrogating him. <v Speaker 2>No one on this entire show just even hints that <v Speaker 2>Terry just taking it. <v Speaker 1>No, no one like Perry somehow also like no friends <v Speaker 1>at all that could like be like, hey, dude, I <v Speaker 1>know you're fucking stupid. <v Speaker 2>Now, Like Michael Cole and Taz only watched the show <v Speaker 2>through the monitor. They just didn't look up and see <v Speaker 2>like someone just walking away with it. <v Speaker 1>They did not. They only watched the screen. They see <v Speaker 1>what the people see. If the people don't see it, <v Speaker 1>they don't see it. <v Speaker 2>Michael Cole just getting yelled at. Do not say Terry <v Speaker 2>took it? Say Terry Tuckett, I hate you. I hate you, <v Speaker 2>all right, boss? Sorry boss. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, Parry should have jumped the rail, got on <v Speaker 1>Arnold's face. I would have been a fucking way to <v Speaker 1>go take it. <v Speaker 2>Okay, pucked down Now, So we got backstage. DDP and <v Speaker 2>Canyon are here with w CW's test. <v Speaker 1>That's test. Donill come on, we haven't crossed the line. No, <v Speaker 1>it can't be damn it. Yeah. Well, DDP says test <v Speaker 1>you were right on time, and Kenyon DDP the new <v Speaker 1>Wtag Champions test says you know who's not better the <v Speaker 1>A P A. Those guys learn firstthand you mess with me, <v Speaker 1>You're gonna eat my foot. I got like fucking the <v Speaker 1>rock chills at how much money he could have made <v Speaker 1>if they would have put it. You're gonna eat my foot. <v Speaker 1>Test shirt out, dude. <v Speaker 2>I'm I mean Test had a history of shirts in <v Speaker 2>the WWF and. <v Speaker 1>They were all great, and that would have been right <v Speaker 1>up there with the balls one. <v Speaker 2>A lot of money on the table there. <v Speaker 1>Well, Test says, tonight's about celebrating. You guys are the champion, <v Speaker 1>and I'm gonna get us the table at the viper room. <v Speaker 1>And they're fired up about this and DDP says Sarah <v Speaker 1>gonna be there again. Listen, DDP, you brot watch out man. <v Speaker 1>You know the car rides are long here in the <v Speaker 1>w WF. You know you never know what they're gonna <v Speaker 1>do to You're gonna shit in your tank. <v Speaker 2>He should have asked if gold dust was gonna be there? <v Speaker 2>Can we have my gold dust? <v Speaker 1>Is Steve Goldberg gonna be there? <v Speaker 2>What? <v Speaker 1>The regal walks up, he's the commissioner. He says, hello, <v Speaker 1>glad to see you two tarts excited about being w <v Speaker 1>F Tag champions. But now you're under my jurisdiction. So <v Speaker 1>at SummerSlam. I decided, uh, you're gonna have a tech <v Speaker 1>title match against the Undertaker and Kane bye bye, and <v Speaker 1>he leaves and he walks back in. By the way, <v Speaker 1>it's a cage. <v Speaker 2>Match, by damn there. And that felt like smack Down <v Speaker 2>two season mode or something it did. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I always liked Threegles commissioner. I thought that was <v Speaker 1>a fun fucking role for him. He ows that for <v Speaker 1>a while too. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, they pee in his drink for some reason. That's <v Speaker 2>what I remember. <v Speaker 1>That's like beak, Yeah, you're right. <v Speaker 2>A man in the crowd is in a mask and <v Speaker 2>he takes it off and it's former w CW World <v Speaker 2>Champion David Arquette. <v Speaker 1>Oh shit, why don't they say that? <v Speaker 2>Holy shit, is Anthony Anderson from Kangary Jack. He's whooping <v Speaker 2>his ass. <v Speaker 1>They start fucking fighting in the crowd. <v Speaker 3>Yeah. <v Speaker 1>I just were gonna make like my cole not taking <v Speaker 1>a ww jab or anything. We're mentioning David Arkeette here <v Speaker 1>felt kind of weird. <v Speaker 2>Well, they probably invited him. <v Speaker 1>Yeah that's true, Well bury him. Who cares, WBF, what <v Speaker 1>are you gonna do? Not show up again? <v Speaker 2>That's at all. There's David Arcutt fighting the crowd probably <v Speaker 2>shouldn't be doing that. <v Speaker 1>Brother. <v Speaker 2>We go backstage. Spike and his girlfriend Molly are here <v Speaker 2>talking to Tijeri and regles a office. <v Speaker 1>Yes, Spike is now back from injury. He says he's <v Speaker 1>all healed up. <v Speaker 2>He said, what if I did a spot tonight where <v Speaker 2>I could possibly be re injured immediately? <v Speaker 1>Oh, that's good son, let's do that. <v Speaker 3>Well. <v Speaker 1>Xbox walks in and he's mad. He's also the cruiserweight champ. <v Speaker 2>I think yep, he's the WCW cruiserweight champion. <v Speaker 1>That's right, okay? And uh an Xbox pissed that. Rego says, <v Speaker 1>what kind of commissioner are you? <v Speaker 4>Did? <v Speaker 1>Jerry comes out on wrong and spits that green crap <v Speaker 1>in my eyes and steals a let heavyweight tuttle from me. <v Speaker 1>And you're gonna let that stand? You know what? You suck? <v Speaker 1>And Rego says, actually the expression is xpac sucks. You <v Speaker 1>can't manga like, don't you manga this guy? Xbox is <v Speaker 1>his name. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Also, man, that's a horrible gimmick. <v Speaker 1>They didn't have to do that, right, like they chant <v Speaker 1>Xbox sucks. But that doesn't have to be like his <v Speaker 1>gimmick as he sucks. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so your gimmick this week is you suck ass? <v Speaker 1>Ho me caught? Yeah, Xbox says, well you think I suck? Well, <v Speaker 1>you think I suck so bad? How about you and <v Speaker 1>ty jerry Son take me out and take on me <v Speaker 1>and Albert tonight and Regal immediately like not even thinking, <v Speaker 1>he's like, yeah, that's fucking fine with me. See like, <v Speaker 1>which again, I think that's awesome. Usually like a commissioner <v Speaker 1>will be like, ah, maybe not. Regel says, yeah, I'll <v Speaker 1>fight the shit out of you. Man, you suck, I'll <v Speaker 1>fuck you up here. <v Speaker 2>That's pretty cool. <v Speaker 1>Well, so yeah, Spike said, hey, man, I know you're busy. <v Speaker 1>I'll take your place, and Xbox says, all right, you <v Speaker 1>might want to be careful, boy, you might want to <v Speaker 1>thank commissioner here for what's gonna happen to you later, <v Speaker 1>and Xbox leaves in. Spike, who does is not afraid <v Speaker 1>of Xbox at all, says ooh, hey, man, show this <v Speaker 1>guy some fucking get some fucking respect for Xbox here. <v Speaker 2>Absolutely fucking not. <v Speaker 1>I guess not. <v Speaker 2>So we go to Edge versus rod VANDAMN Hardcore title match. <v Speaker 2>Last week, Edge pulled down Landstorm's pants. They had Power <v Speaker 2>Rangers underwear. <v Speaker 1>On, which is like fucking normal to have every week. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean it's two thousand and one, so like <v Speaker 2>Power Ranges is still good. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, especially every day as someone might may are the <v Speaker 1>same Power Rangers underwear and that's fucking like, there's nothing <v Speaker 1>wrong with that. It was, by the way, Christian was <v Speaker 1>faking a friendship with Landstorm and then they faked him <v Speaker 1>out and Edge pants them. But Christian nowhere to be <v Speaker 1>seen here tonight. <v Speaker 2>Okay, hmm, Well, RVD is the hardcore champion currently. <v Speaker 1>He's cool shit too. <v Speaker 2>Edge and RVD going to an international here. But Edge <v Speaker 2>grabs RVD off the floor and hits a facebuster. Cool, <v Speaker 2>and this is a hardcore match, so they can pin <v Speaker 2>outside the ring and stuff like that. <v Speaker 1>That threw me off for a second too, Like I <v Speaker 1>in my brain, I know that's like hardcore title rules, <v Speaker 1>but I feel like more times than not, we just <v Speaker 1>see a hardcore match and there's weapons in the ring <v Speaker 1>and somebody just runs in and wins. That's not in <v Speaker 1>the match. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, there actually wasn't much weapon usage here, but they <v Speaker 2>did take advantage of going outside and stuff like that. <v Speaker 2>A huge RVD chance from the crowd here. He's very <v Speaker 2>over even here in two thousand and one. <v Speaker 1>Dude, there's one guy when they're on the outside that <v Speaker 1>is like, must be right next to the camera, and <v Speaker 1>he says, oh, fucking show. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, dude, this is West Coast. That's pretty cool. <v Speaker 1>Well, you know this XPW territory, you better watch out. RVD. <v Speaker 2>Edge sets up this ladder on the post here, but <v Speaker 2>RVD sweeps his legs and then catapults Edge into the <v Speaker 2>ladder for two. <v Speaker 1>Dude. There's also, by the way, speaking of the XPW, <v Speaker 1>someone in the crowd is holding a Supreme XPW sign. <v Speaker 2>Oh nice, yes, shuts out. I love that the ref <v Speaker 2>is just walking around with the hardcore title because like, <v Speaker 2>the match can just end whenever. <v Speaker 1>I didn't even notice that. <v Speaker 2>That is kind of cool. <v Speaker 1>They didn't send the game, sadly. <v Speaker 2>No, no, they didn't. RVD is setting up a ladder <v Speaker 2>on the second rope, but Edge jumps off of it <v Speaker 2>and seesaws the ladder in rvd's face. That gets a <v Speaker 2>two count. <v Speaker 1>I mean that spot takes fucking forever. <v Speaker 2>Dude. <v Speaker 1>You mean it look cool, but RVD, I mean, RVD <v Speaker 1>might as well turn around and say, oh, you should <v Speaker 1>jump on this. <v Speaker 2>Way, A Storm runs down, He pulls the rope and <v Speaker 2>Edge flips over Edge line Storm down outside, he comes in. <v Speaker 2>It hits a German supplex on RVD for a double down. <v Speaker 2>RVD takes it like RVD takes it. <v Speaker 1>Okay, I was gonna say, RVD always takes German suplexes <v Speaker 1>like somehow he gets unbelievable height and then the weight <v Speaker 1>of his ass crushes the rest of his body on <v Speaker 1>his head. <v Speaker 2>Storm comes back in, but Edge hits him with a <v Speaker 2>spinning heel kick and an edge o mattic. Of course, <v Speaker 2>RVD hits a fucking standing drop kick to Edge. I <v Speaker 2>feel like I never see RVD do a standing dropkick. <v Speaker 1>It definitely felt like, oh fuck, I am supposed to <v Speaker 1>do something here, uh dropkick? <v Speaker 2>It was clean, it looked awfulse yeah, I mean it <v Speaker 2>doesn't surprise me. I guess that RVD has a great <v Speaker 2>drop kick, but sure, it was cool to see him <v Speaker 2>break something out I don't usually see him doing. RVD <v Speaker 2>sets up a chair in the ring, Edge uses it <v Speaker 2>to jump off and hit Storm with a spear out <v Speaker 2>of mid air. That was sick Landstorm came down to <v Speaker 2>this ring like five minutes ago. He's been getting his <v Speaker 2>ass whooped the entire time. Edge sets up for the <v Speaker 2>buzzkill here, but RVD kicks him. RVD and Landstorm then <v Speaker 2>grabbed chairs and hit a standing concerto to Edge. <v Speaker 1>Okay, a couple things here. One. I swore that Christian <v Speaker 1>was gonna come down to make the save obviously, or <v Speaker 1>somebody would like this is like invasion shit here, No, <v Speaker 1>they just kill Edge two. Buzzkill. <v Speaker 2>Yeah that's Xbox move right it is? <v Speaker 1>Or but maybe was that the buzz killer or was it? <v Speaker 1>But it was it both? <v Speaker 2>Maybe it was both, it was whatever that was also <v Speaker 2>a person in WCW. <v Speaker 1>Oh yeah, you're right. Who the fuck was buzzkill? <v Speaker 2>I don't remember Armstrong. Oh yeah it was the Red Dog. <v Speaker 1>Right, Yeah that's right. Yeah, of course, which is crazy. <v Speaker 1>Yeah yeah, it just but that's the fucking educution whatever, <v Speaker 1>the impaler. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, that's right. Standing concerto was crazy crushed them. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, look, I mean look great and uh rv dy one. <v Speaker 2>Well we go back next stage. Steve Austin is here <v Speaker 2>with Debra and telling her how much he hates Matt Hardy. <v Speaker 1>They're in a very purple room as well. Uh and <v Speaker 1>Austin's explaining the match to her and it's a six <v Speaker 1>man tag Deborah. They think about it is I hate <v Speaker 1>Matt Hardy, I hate Jeff Hardy, and I really hate <v Speaker 1>Kurt Angle. <v Speaker 2>He makes me sick. <v Speaker 1>And at least I got the Dudley's what cut. They <v Speaker 1>come in, and then of course the stars of the show, <v Speaker 1>Chuck Plumbo and Shaan O'Hare make their way into the room. <v Speaker 1>They're the w CP Tag Team champion. Dude. <v Speaker 2>The way they enter the room and the way that <v Speaker 2>Steve Austin greets them is the funniest fucking thing, dude. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, they come in and Austin's like, Chuck Blumbo, Shan O'Hair, <v Speaker 1>been watching the guys, you look real damn good. <v Speaker 2>What the fuck are you watching matches? <v Speaker 1>I was watching Velocity. <v Speaker 2>You went out of business, son. <v Speaker 1>Okay, you were just fucking talking good about us. We're <v Speaker 1>on your team, Steve to wear on the same side. <v Speaker 1>We're like, right, you're all w city. Yep, that's what <v Speaker 1>I was talking about every time double seeing him. You <v Speaker 1>guys walk into the room with Austin, he shakes their <v Speaker 1>head and says, you guys run out of business. <v Speaker 3>You guys absolutely suck eighty three weeks turned into you <v Speaker 3>guys dying what one week? <v Speaker 1>What I just talked to creative Chuck and Sean and <v Speaker 1>your guys gimmick Now as you suck on TV, Steve, <v Speaker 1>that's like three other guys on my team's gimmick. <v Speaker 2>What we're gonna send you down to Heartland? <v Speaker 1>Son, you learn how to work a lick and we're <v Speaker 1>pulling Horace up. <v Speaker 3>Yeah, you guys know that guy right well. <v Speaker 1>Chuck says Steve, We're fired up. We know the Dudley's out. <v Speaker 1>Your back to my butt in the future. We want <v Speaker 1>to have your back. We're the tag champs, you're the <v Speaker 1>wit of a champion. Know where we want to be <v Speaker 1>on the same team. And Austin says, I like it. <v Speaker 1>You're showing attitude, You're shown initiative, You're showing traits of <v Speaker 1>a winner. And what you got to do in the <v Speaker 1>WW have to make a name for yourselves is not <v Speaker 1>be afraid to make a challenge, stand up for yourself, <v Speaker 1>race the hell out there, don't back down from nobody. <v Speaker 1>You guys are going to be big, big superstars. He <v Speaker 1>was like, not trying to be funny there too. He <v Speaker 1>meant that just has a way of saying ship That <v Speaker 1>made me fucking laugh. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Like you just can't believe a single word this <v Speaker 2>guy's saying, go. <v Speaker 1>Out there and just race somehow, whip some ask go <v Speaker 1>get them and Austin shakes their hands and they leave <v Speaker 1>and he's like, those boys going to be big? Okay, <v Speaker 1>who is that? <v Speaker 2>So he names? Right, that's a guy that could see <v Speaker 2>being the Undertaker. <v Speaker 1>I won't be here in the future. That's a future. <v Speaker 2>Maybe I'll come back with my a TV racham l. <v Speaker 2>We have Spike Dudley with Molly Holly and to Jerry <v Speaker 2>versus X Factor. Dude, there are so many champions on <v Speaker 2>this show right now, Like every single match features a champion. <v Speaker 2>To Jerry's the light heavyweight champion right now, X poc <v Speaker 2>is the cruiserweight champion. <v Speaker 1>Right Well, we're coming up to unify a lot of <v Speaker 1>these soon, I think, right. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think that's right. Like it seems like they're <v Speaker 2>lining up everybody through the unifications. X Pock and to <v Speaker 2>Jerry start off here, but ta Jerry decides to do <v Speaker 2>a no look kick to Albert and hits him off <v Speaker 2>the apron. <v Speaker 1>How cool was that, dude? Albert's on the apron, running <v Speaker 1>his mouth to the Jerry and to Jerry, I mean <v Speaker 1>he's the best of this dude. He turns, doesn't like <v Speaker 1>his body turns and he's still looking at X pocket <v Speaker 1>look like and he blitz his Albert in the face <v Speaker 1>with his kick. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, very cool, awesome to Jerry kicks down x POC <v Speaker 2>and Spike Dudley comes in with the double axe. Spike <v Speaker 2>ducks a line here from x POC and tries to <v Speaker 2>cross body Albert. Oh my, what comes next is the <v Speaker 2>craziest thing I've ever seen. <v Speaker 1>So dude, I'm not joking. Is this not one of <v Speaker 1>the scariest things like ever? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, So Spike just came back from injury, so Spike. <v Speaker 2>So Spike ducks a line from xpot here and he <v Speaker 2>tries to crossbody Albert on the apron. Albert catches him <v Speaker 2>crossbody you know, like or is only the long way? <v Speaker 1>Yeah? Yeah, yeah, he. <v Speaker 2>Presses him over his head. I'm thinking, oh, he's gonna <v Speaker 2>like military press him into the ring. Of course, no, man, <v Speaker 2>Albert takes this guy, presses him above his head on <v Speaker 2>the apron and then drops him all the way to <v Speaker 2>the floor on the outside. <v Speaker 1>So it's not even like he like gives him any mph, right, <v Speaker 1>Like there's no lunch so he can like maybe go <v Speaker 1>face first or like stomach first. He dumps him and <v Speaker 1>Spike rolls down his bag, hits the apron and in <v Speaker 1>the floor. Like this is horrifying. I don't know how <v Speaker 1>he didn't die. <v Speaker 2>Like Spike was not afraid of anything. He would just <v Speaker 2>do whatever. Yeah, dude, Spike was a dog. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, he was a He was a beast, dude, and <v Speaker 1>like for you know, he totally didn't have to do <v Speaker 1>that for this match, by the way, like he, like <v Speaker 1>you said, just came back from injury. People know, Albert, <v Speaker 1>like a beal would have been enough, which they do do, <v Speaker 1>and that's enough. Like he looks crazy getting bealed across <v Speaker 1>the ring. No, I'm gonna take a fucking military press <v Speaker 1>to the floor backwards. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, fuck that. We're not doing any normal shit. Spike's <v Speaker 2>a dog. We're getting some shit over. We're doing the boss. <v Speaker 2>That is the boss right there. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I like that. <v Speaker 2>XPOC brings Spike back into the ring, hits a brain <v Speaker 2>buster for a two. They're kicking this dude's ass. <v Speaker 1>They are stuffing this guy. It would dude, it was <v Speaker 1>actually a really cool brainbuster too. Xbox like kind of <v Speaker 1>jumped on it. <v Speaker 2>It almost turned into a God's Last gift. <v Speaker 1>It was sick. <v Speaker 2>Albert comes in and beats down Spike, beals him across <v Speaker 2>the ring, talk shit. Albert picks Spike up by the <v Speaker 2>belt and carries him over to x Pox so he <v Speaker 2>can tag in. <v Speaker 1>That is fucking crazy. <v Speaker 2>Albert goes for the boot, but crotches himself on the <v Speaker 2>top rope. Here to Jerry geinst the hot tag. He <v Speaker 2>comes in with a line, a kick, handspring, back elbow. <v Speaker 2>The crowd goes crazy. <v Speaker 1>He's another video game guy to me, but also like <v Speaker 1>real life guy, like obviously, like there's two Jery matches <v Speaker 1>I thoroughly enjoyed. I mean there's tons, especially in ECW <v Speaker 1>that I could call to. But I mean, you play <v Speaker 1>as to Jerry in a video game, you're doing all <v Speaker 1>the kicks, like Perry Satins all the suplexes. Maybe Taz too, <v Speaker 1>he probably had a ton of suplexes to Jerry's got <v Speaker 1>all these fucking sweet kicks. Like this guy is awesome <v Speaker 1>and super dialed into like when you're playing, you know, <v Speaker 1>just talking about video game stuff some more when you're <v Speaker 1>if the game's gonna right at least, and they usually <v Speaker 1>did in the older ones, like you're playing to jury. <v Speaker 1>It felt like the Jerry Yeah for sure. <v Speaker 2>He pins xpoc here. Albert splashes xpoc by accident, trying <v Speaker 2>to break up the pill, Spike into Jerry, double drop <v Speaker 2>kick Albert. Xpos now on the outside talking shit to Molly. <v Speaker 2>Molly slaps xpoc, xpox pushes her down, Spike dives on him. <v Speaker 2>There's a lot going on in this back. <v Speaker 1>There's a ton going on here. Xbox was probably telling <v Speaker 1>Molly that she's not the real gorgeous joy. <v Speaker 2>Where are the rest of the gorgeous Georgias? <v Speaker 1>Why is there so many of them? <v Speaker 2>X poc brings the belt in. Dude, Okay, so all <v Speaker 2>that happens in the back end right, x poc brings <v Speaker 2>this belt in, Spike stops him. The ref thinks Spike <v Speaker 2>has the belt, so the ref is distracted to Jerry <v Speaker 2>kicks down. X poc jumps off his back. It gets <v Speaker 2>caught out of midair by Albert in a double mic. <v Speaker 1>God dude, this which would have been enough, right, like <v Speaker 1>that's cool enough, But. <v Speaker 2>As he's up in the air, double goozled x POC <v Speaker 2>hits him with the belt and then Albert hits the <v Speaker 2>Baldo bomb to pick up the win x. <v Speaker 1>Poc like has to line up behind Albert to leap <v Speaker 1>up behind him and hit to Jerry in the head <v Speaker 1>with the cruiseweight title like completely unnecessary. The Baldo bomb <v Speaker 1>could have just beat to Jerry, but no, bring this <v Speaker 1>motherfucker with the title two. <v Speaker 2>Very cool finish here at. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, I love that shit. That was sick. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, this whole deal here. <v Speaker 1>I like this match a lot, really good match. I <v Speaker 1>think everyone looked fucking super good coming out of this. <v Speaker 1>As we mentioned, you know, eventually we get the title <v Speaker 1>unification between I believe it's textbutkins Jerry. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I think that's right. We go backstage. William Rigo <v Speaker 2>is in his office and Perry Saturn is here looking <v Speaker 2>for MOPy. <v Speaker 1>MOPy mo By. He's look, dude, he's looking in the <v Speaker 1>regal piss cup. He's looking through all this shit, and <v Speaker 1>uh Rego's like, what are you doing. I can assure <v Speaker 1>you MOPy is not here. I suggest you go find Terry. <v Speaker 1>I'm sure she has a better idea what your Moppy <v Speaker 1>is than I do. And Perry looks at him and says, <v Speaker 1>you're welcome. He leaves right, Well, like, why wouldn't you <v Speaker 1>ask Terry? Right? Regal should have got up with brass <v Speaker 1>nuts and punched them in the back of the head. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>have done that. <v Speaker 2>He probably hasn't work ticket don He was jotting down <v Speaker 2>some information. <v Speaker 1>I don't think anybody would have second thought that para <v Speaker 1>and laid out on the floor in the commissioner's office room. <v Speaker 1>They were like, oh, yeah, that's fucking that pans out. <v Speaker 1>That makes sense. <v Speaker 2>He should have drank the pea. <v Speaker 1>He just still has pissing there from like forever ago. Well, <v Speaker 1>the two of the top guys in w CW Seanahair <v Speaker 1>and Chuck Blumbo are here if we haven't got enough <v Speaker 1>of them? And Regal says, the fuck do you two want? <v Speaker 1>And Chuck Plumbo says, hey, slow your role, bro, we <v Speaker 1>want to be leaders. We want to match tonight, and <v Speaker 1>Shawan Harris says, we're here to lead by example. We'll <v Speaker 1>take on any w F tag team you have tonight. <v Speaker 1>Riles has any team all right? Well, the Hardys are <v Speaker 1>booked and APA already worked and share our tag divisions. <v Speaker 1>Pretty light boys. I don't know. I gotta figure this <v Speaker 1>out here. Uh, you're gonna put the tag titles on <v Speaker 1>the line though, And they say, definitely, we're gonna do that, <v Speaker 1>and Regels says, all right, I'll get the fuck out <v Speaker 1>of my office before I load these brass dogs up. <v Speaker 1>You see Perry Sidner on the floor, that's you next. <v Speaker 2>So now it's time for the Booker t and Shane <v Speaker 2>mcmahontown Hall. <v Speaker 1>Michael Cole says that Booker is jealous of the Rock, <v Speaker 1>jealous of his popular already is Hollywood success and standing <v Speaker 1>up is one of the greatest sports entertainers in the <v Speaker 1>business has seen. God damn all right, man, just back <v Speaker 1>off of it just a little, Like if you smell, <v Speaker 1>if you dude, if you haven't seen it, you all <v Speaker 1>need to go see the Rocks first entrance with the <v Speaker 1>Hollywood theme where it was the first version of it. <v Speaker 1>I think it's no way out. It is so goddamn funny. <v Speaker 2>If you smell, If you smell, look at their tongue, <v Speaker 2>Look at their tongue if they smell. <v Speaker 1>Like he doesn't even know when to come out. What <v Speaker 1>do I do here? <v Speaker 2>I love that? Yeah, Wow, that shit. Ha'd be dying <v Speaker 2>if you. <v Speaker 1>Should have kept that dude, it's so obnoxious, man, Like, <v Speaker 1>I get the Rock, but it is so fucking obnoxious, dude. <v Speaker 2>Like, dude, it's so funny, how like Hollywood Rock and <v Speaker 2>Heal Steve Austin are like both great. Like, yeah, that's <v Speaker 2>cool that they were able to transition to that very well. <v Speaker 1>So, uh, Shane and Booker out here, And Shane says Booker, <v Speaker 1>look at this crowd filled to the rafters with self important, <v Speaker 1>sanct deemonious Hollywood phonies. I mean again, I swore this <v Speaker 1>was going to be like a face to face with <v Speaker 1>Arnold or something, or Booker T should have went face <v Speaker 1>to face with the former. W's be watching David Arquetta <v Speaker 1>and he says, I can tell by looking in the <v Speaker 1>eyes of all of you that none of you have <v Speaker 1>been a fight in your life. And I'm out here <v Speaker 1>to remind you. In the street fight last week, it's <v Speaker 1>not important who walks away with their hand raised in victory, <v Speaker 1>but who walks away period, And last Monday it was <v Speaker 1>Shane o'mck and Booker T who walked away from that <v Speaker 1>street fight at the expense of the so called great one, <v Speaker 1>the Rock. And then he calls for them to show <v Speaker 1>it on the tron and he says, roll the footage, <v Speaker 1>and they Shane narrates his footage here, and they showed <v Speaker 1>the Rock going for the rock bottom and Shane grabs <v Speaker 1>his leg and Shane says, I have the Rock right here. <v Speaker 1>I'm about to snap his ankle in two, but then <v Speaker 1>Booker T wanted to save the Rock's ankle and boomed <v Speaker 1>de gaundation. Booker says, I would say the the sucker <v Speaker 1>is the man who got his ass kick last Monday. <v Speaker 1>And I'd say the suck is the man who is <v Speaker 1>not the five time WCB champion and the man who's <v Speaker 1>scared and jealous of Booker T. Rock. I would say, <v Speaker 1>you're the sucker, Sucker, and then he says, you know, Rock, <v Speaker 1>you feel only different. You accept my challenge SummerSlam, and uh, <v Speaker 1>you know the I'll give you everything you got coming <v Speaker 1>to you. The first thing would be then he does <v Speaker 1>the scissors kick in the ring like just does it <v Speaker 1>and says the scissors kick, and he says the second <v Speaker 1>thing is gonna be the spinner rooney, So he hands <v Speaker 1>the mic to Shane, does the spinner rooney and then <v Speaker 1>Shane is right there to give them mic back. One two, three. <v Speaker 1>Now can you dig that sucker? <v Speaker 2>If you're some mallo, the rock dunh is cooking WWF <v Speaker 2>test like pop here, dude, I mean massive. This is <v Speaker 2>the most over guy by a mile. <v Speaker 1>He says, well, congratulations, because you're gonna go one on <v Speaker 1>one with the great One at SummerSlam. And Arnold's fucking <v Speaker 1>fired up for this. He's clapping in the crowd. He's <v Speaker 1>he loves the Rock, and Rock says, before you face <v Speaker 1>the Rock at SummerSlam, he has one question. What in <v Speaker 1>the blue hell is a spinner Rooney? Who came up <v Speaker 1>with the spinner Rooney? Fisher Price, Rock says, just so <v Speaker 1>the Rock understands, the rocks thinking is clear. The Rock <v Speaker 1>has got the sharp shooter, the rock bottom and the <v Speaker 1>people's elbow, and you've got the spinner Rooney, the dipsy <v Speaker 1>Doodle and the suffering suck attash. <v Speaker 2>If you're some mad. <v Speaker 1>So, the Rock says, you see Booker t You can <v Speaker 1>get involved in the Rock street fight on Monday. You <v Speaker 1>can challenge the Rock on the Rock shows smack down. <v Speaker 1>You don't have a show. You can come all the <v Speaker 1>way out here to Hollywood to get your hair done <v Speaker 1>by Whoopi Gold and Michael Cole laughs so close to <v Speaker 1>the mic and says get it, and Test says, yeah, <v Speaker 1>I fucking get it here. Jesus Christ. <v Speaker 2>She was in the Muppet movie. <v Speaker 1>So is the Rock. No, so was Hogan. But Booker <v Speaker 1>t All jokes aside, there's nothing and the Rock means <v Speaker 1>nothing that's gonna stop the Rock from giving the five <v Speaker 1>time w C champion a five star ass whipping all <v Speaker 1>over Sommer Slam. But we have one problem. The Rock's <v Speaker 1>interest is not at Summer Slam. The Rock's interest is tonight. <v Speaker 1>And Booker says, shit, we could fucking do this right now. <v Speaker 1>You face shaneo back and Booker t in a handicap match, <v Speaker 1>and Rock says, I allow the Rock to think for <v Speaker 1>one second, and that immediately drops the mic and starts <v Speaker 1>walking down the ramp. Oh fuck, oh shit, yeah, I <v Speaker 1>get fired off. That was sick as fuck. So Rock's <v Speaker 1>like circle in the ring. He backs up to the <v Speaker 1>nouncetable area, He grabs a chair and he slides in, <v Speaker 1>but they jump him. They get his ass immediately. <v Speaker 2>Dide I love when like Face tries to hit the ring, <v Speaker 2>immediately gets stomped out and then fights back towards the end. <v Speaker 2>It works every time. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, it's the best, and the Rock might be the <v Speaker 1>best at it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. When he's getting stomped out, he really he's really selling. <v Speaker 1>And when he's coming up it's flying. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, for sure. His punches are awesome for these. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, Shane stomps him out, gets them in there too. <v Speaker 1>Booker hits them of the spinkick. Booker slaps the shit <v Speaker 1>out of him. He's ground and pounded him. UFC's coming, <v Speaker 1>so you know, Daniel peters around the court. I gotta <v Speaker 1>get that shit. Sorry to here. Shane picks up the <v Speaker 1>Rock and Booker has the chair. He's loading him up. <v Speaker 1>Rock elbows out. He starts firing off shots on Booker, <v Speaker 1>spinebuster on the chair. Shane glombs Rock from behind, and <v Speaker 1>Rock gets up starts fucking him up to knocks him <v Speaker 1>over the top to the floor. But that's not it. <v Speaker 1>The Rock goes outside, takes off the announced table cover <v Speaker 1>and Shane's trying to escape through the barricade. Rock chases him, <v Speaker 1>throws him back to ringside and dude, this is like, <v Speaker 1>I gotta give it to Shane Man and the Rock too. <v Speaker 1>I mean, really, anybody did this these announced tables, especially <v Speaker 1>back in this era, did not look fun to be near, <v Speaker 1>Like they there's nothing under these things. They're just falling <v Speaker 1>straight to the floor pretty much. Yeah, that's right, and <v Speaker 1>that's what happens here. The rock rock Bottom Shane through <v Speaker 1>the announced table kills them. <v Speaker 2>If you're some man, team Bringen says, let the bodies <v Speaker 2>hit the floor. <v Speaker 1>Oh dude, let the bodies hit the floor. Thing they <v Speaker 1>hit like six times on this show Man, good lord. <v Speaker 2>When the rock hits the spinebuster on Booker here, his <v Speaker 2>head hits right off the back of the fucking chair <v Speaker 2>in the ring. <v Speaker 1>It's rough, dude. Yeah, I mean same with the rock <v Speaker 1>Bottom through the table. Like you can see, they have <v Speaker 1>to stand directly on the edge of this thing to <v Speaker 1>not have it crumble under their feet. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. I mean I've seen a few times, i think <v Speaker 2>where the rock goes up for the rock Bottom and <v Speaker 2>it just flapses. <v Speaker 1>Just goes twelve to six. Yeah, like it just falls down. <v Speaker 1>That sucks. So yeah, brutal rock Bottom here through the table. <v Speaker 1>To continue the rock Booker t thing, which is I <v Speaker 1>mean cool. I mean, like again, like this era of <v Speaker 1>Booker at the beginning of the invasion, where they still <v Speaker 1>treated him as a top guy. Threat is very cool obviously, <v Speaker 1>He you know, kind of goes mid card after that <v Speaker 1>and then comes back up, but you know, always a <v Speaker 1>key player in my mind. <v Speaker 2>We go backstage. Perry Saturn is looking for MOPy in <v Speaker 2>the trash. <v Speaker 1>This is the most fucked up looking dumpster I've ever seen. <v Speaker 1>What is this? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it really is. I mean there's a bunch of <v Speaker 2>random shit in here. I mean this thing was filled <v Speaker 2>up probably hours and hours and hours. <v Speaker 1>Ago, just piled up the hell And Terry Renalds walks <v Speaker 1>up and says, hey, Perry. And Perry says, you see <v Speaker 1>my Moppy? And Terry says, yeah, I stole it, dumb ass, <v Speaker 1>Like what happened? He says, you're talking about the same rotten, <v Speaker 1>stinky mop you chose over me. You lost the mop <v Speaker 1>the same way you lost me. And by the way, <v Speaker 1>you're welcome. That's fucked up, fucked up to do my <v Speaker 1>man here? He just like, how inconsiderate is Terry. He's <v Speaker 1>just going through some things. <v Speaker 2>I mean, Perry immediately forgets that she was even here <v Speaker 2>and just starts looking for the mop again. <v Speaker 1>I'm surprised he even remembered that MAPI was gone. <v Speaker 2>We have Chuck Palumbo and shaan O'Hair versus mystery opponents <v Speaker 2>w c W Tag Team Title Match. Chuck Plumbo and <v Speaker 2>shaan o Hair come out here. They have the EA <v Speaker 2>big theme song. <v Speaker 1>This song. I actually did like this song, Dan. <v Speaker 2>It sounds like a song from like a two thousand <v Speaker 2>and three sports game, like you would be doing mad <v Speaker 2>and like tryouts or whatever it was. It wasn't tryouts, <v Speaker 2>it was like practice. It would be like squad Ship. <v Speaker 2>You would do the mini games and you'd be listening <v Speaker 2>to the theme song. That sounds like it could be <v Speaker 2>in the game. <v Speaker 1>Really, dude, you're right, dude, And I mean I think <v Speaker 1>we talked about it as before, but Shanaha and Chuck <v Speaker 1>Palumbo both also look like like you know teen movie <v Speaker 1>two thousand and one, the bad guys, Yeah really, or <v Speaker 1>they'd be fighting against the Power Rangers or something. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, they would like really be bullying DJ Falls for sure, it. <v Speaker 1>Would be beating the shit out. He would have get <v Speaker 1>up on them in the end, like he'd pour like <v Speaker 1>punch on their heads at the party, but like they'd <v Speaker 1>be fuck with them for a long time. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, right, or like they would become friends by the <v Speaker 2>end or something or. <v Speaker 1>Oh sure that's true. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, some deal like that. So the Pirro goes off <v Speaker 2>here for this match, and the opponents are Kine, Undertaker, <v Speaker 2>and Sarah. <v Speaker 1>I was trying to figure out for a second. I <v Speaker 1>was like, Okay, this could be like a haha match, <v Speaker 1>right they send out somebody just for these dudes to <v Speaker 1>beat up, And I was like, DDP and Canyon just <v Speaker 1>won the belts. This is probably a title change. Uh oh. <v Speaker 1>And then just as I figured it out, Kane and <v Speaker 1>fucking Taker come out. Uh and I mean Shaana Haroon, <v Speaker 1>chucklomoself is great like SHAWNA. Harris immediately trying to get <v Speaker 1>the belts back from the referees because he doesn't want <v Speaker 1>to do the match. <v Speaker 2>He saw Fred Durst on the tron, got scared, keep <v Speaker 2>rolling and rolling rolling. <v Speaker 1>This is sick. <v Speaker 2>I love this entrance. <v Speaker 1>Kane should have came out, as I mentioned before, on <v Speaker 1>the back of the bike, dude. <v Speaker 2>Full mask Kane with the transparent tank. <v Speaker 1>His mask was also exceptionally red. <v Speaker 2>Yeah it was full mask. I don't know, maybe I'm <v Speaker 2>just not used to seeing that too often, but uh yeah, interesting. <v Speaker 2>Look here for the Big Man He's fucking huge. He <v Speaker 2>is massive. <v Speaker 1>It's unreal Takers here to uh he's here to be <v Speaker 1>here with Sarah, his wife. And if these guys do <v Speaker 1>anything out of line, especially if it comes to hitting <v Speaker 1>me in the head with a chair, they will be <v Speaker 1>hearing about it my wife. We need the Sarah Taker <v Speaker 1>podcast instead. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, let me hear that, hosted by Chuck Balumba, his wife. <v Speaker 2>Caine and Chuck Plombo start off and Kine somehow makes <v Speaker 2>this dude look small. I mean, Chuck Palumbo is huge. <v Speaker 1>I mean two thousand and one. Kine is a fucking monster. <v Speaker 2>He must have been eaten goddamn five thousand calories a day, <v Speaker 2>like unreal, man, he was massive. So Chuck Palumbo and <v Speaker 2>shot out hair hit a combo here on Kane, ending <v Speaker 2>with a big line from Palombo to take down Kane. <v Speaker 2>I always thought it was funny that the WCW guys <v Speaker 2>are always working up to the WWF guys no matter. <v Speaker 1>What, every time, dude, every single time, Like I get it, <v Speaker 1>But like damn, there wasn't a hint of anybody ever <v Speaker 1>saying maybe we should like try to make this feel <v Speaker 1>a little equal, Like I know, we don't have fucking <v Speaker 1>Sting and Goldberg. But maybe we can pretend for a <v Speaker 1>secondly like that. <v Speaker 2>That was probably what they were thinking, right, Like well, <v Speaker 2>I mean if Scott Seiner was here or right, Scott <v Speaker 2>Hall or something short thing, but like not these guys <v Speaker 2>Mike Sanders boys, I don't know. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, which there is an argument for both, right, Like <v Speaker 1>you know, I know Sean O'Hare and Chuck Palumbo are <v Speaker 1>not Canaan Undertaker, but god damn man. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, right, I guess you know, if you looked at <v Speaker 2>it with a little bit of you know, objectivity, I <v Speaker 2>guess you know, like came, it's huge, etcetera, etcetera. <v Speaker 1>But Taker is the fucking Undertaker of course. <v Speaker 2>Right yeah. And Sarah Taker, it's just why she's he <v Speaker 2>here dressed out like Jimmie Hayter. <v Speaker 1>There's two signs in the crowd that two guys are holding. <v Speaker 1>One says I could have made a better sign, and <v Speaker 1>his boys sign says but then I got. <v Speaker 2>High A classic read this. So Taker comes in. He <v Speaker 2>hit some sort of supplex on shin o hair here. <v Speaker 1>What the fuck was that? Like I wrote, hits a <v Speaker 1>spinebuster's back suplex? What? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it just does some sort of deal here gets <v Speaker 2>him up and he just goes for it. Taker goes up. <v Speaker 2>He hits old school. Don't exactly understand why, I never <v Speaker 2>really do you. <v Speaker 1>You've talked about it a few times, and I really, <v Speaker 1>I guess I've just never thought of it. <v Speaker 2>Like there's probably some answer here. I just don't know <v Speaker 2>what it is. <v Speaker 1>His dad did it? <v Speaker 2>Just something? Yeah, right, obscure. I'm sure there's mom did it? Yeah, <v Speaker 2>oh hair lines take her over, but take her lands <v Speaker 2>on his feet and pulls her hair out to kick <v Speaker 2>his ass. Plumbo jumps off the apron and takes down Taker, <v Speaker 2>but Kane cleans up. O'Hare uses a chair when the <v Speaker 2>ref's back is turned, and then Taker hits a DDT <v Speaker 2>for the double down. <v Speaker 1>Sean O'Hare hits Taker in the head as nicely as <v Speaker 1>you can hit somebody in the head with the chair <v Speaker 1>if they're not putting their hands up, like this was <v Speaker 1>a please, I'm on your team, Please, we're cool. Headshot <v Speaker 1>like he tried his hardest there, and I you know, <v Speaker 1>it was very nice of them. <v Speaker 2>Kane hot tags in. He hits a cane line Clean's house. <v Speaker 2>Kane double goozles the champs, but they reversed into a <v Speaker 2>double supplex, but Taker comes in, stops the double sue plex, <v Speaker 2>helps Cane down and they hit stereo choke slams on <v Speaker 2>the champs for the three count. Kine and Undertaker are <v Speaker 2>the new WCW Tag Champions. <v Speaker 1>There was not even a chance, like even a slight <v Speaker 1>hint of Shan o'haon and Trplumba winning this match, like <v Speaker 1>not even like they hit some bullshit on Caine, like <v Speaker 1>them with the title and get a pin. No falsees <v Speaker 1>for these fucking guys. Fuck WCW caanaan Taker on top. <v Speaker 2>Welcome to the fed bitch, Welcome to the big leagues. <v Speaker 1>Boys. <v Speaker 2>I'll put you in the tree. That's my husband, Undertaker boom. <v Speaker 1>Fred Durst actually wanted to be a song for Kane, <v Speaker 1>but it just ended up a little hand me down. <v Speaker 2>R C Cola w W Free Wine. Stephanie McMahon gets <v Speaker 2>pied on raw and also there's a guy in a <v Speaker 2>gorilla suit in the ring. <v Speaker 1>I didn't they didn't explain any of this. <v Speaker 2>They didn't even they didn't even mention it. Like it <v Speaker 2>shows Chris Jerkers standing here with a guy in a <v Speaker 2>gorilla suit and then he pies Stephanie McMahon and that's it. <v Speaker 2>Thank you, Arci Cola. <v Speaker 1>Arcie Colin thought the Monkey and the Pie was awesome. Yeah, okay, cool? <v Speaker 2>What the fuck? <v Speaker 1>Jerker says the Alliance might not have the rock, but <v Speaker 1>you can have the pie, and he hits over with <v Speaker 1>the pie anyway, drink Arci Cola. <v Speaker 2>Good? What the absolute fun just happened? <v Speaker 1>And there's a follow up segment where they also don't <v Speaker 1>explain it. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, we go backstage. Hugh Morris is here, Hugh Morris. <v Speaker 1>Hugh Morris gets fucking smacked down TV Time. Are you <v Speaker 1>out of your mind? They? This is such dude, This <v Speaker 1>is such a fucking WWF thing too. They couldn't just <v Speaker 1>do Chris Jericho versus Hu Morris. I need a fucking <v Speaker 1>Humoris Stephaniemanvan backstage segment to explain to me that Hugh <v Speaker 1>Morris is on Team WCW and he's gonna wrestle a <v Speaker 1>team WF. Guy, I get it. <v Speaker 2>What I don't get is whatever they just showed me. <v Speaker 1>Where was the monkey? Can we explain the monkey? I'd <v Speaker 1>rather TV Time for that than fucking Hugh Morris. It's <v Speaker 1>just still his name somehow. Yeah, fucking Stephanie's watching the <v Speaker 1>TV in the Stephanie McMahon room, and Hugh Morris walks <v Speaker 1>in because he's just allowed to walk into the Stephanie <v Speaker 1>McMahon room, I guess, and he says, hey, I didn't <v Speaker 1>like what Jericho did. I never liked that guy, and <v Speaker 1>I'm gonna make him paygahnight, And then seventy says, yeah, <v Speaker 1>jerk's going down tonight, and Hugh says, how do you <v Speaker 1>think he made those monkeys do that? And he leaves <v Speaker 1>do what dude? What did he do? They bought the pies, <v Speaker 1>the monkeys. Why do you explain to me this angle? <v Speaker 1>Explain the monkeys? <v Speaker 2>Well, SmackDown is brought to you by corn nuts, Corn <v Speaker 2>gone wrong, the surprisingly hardcore corn snacked. <v Speaker 1>Like damn okay man, Yeah, like yeah, watch corn jerk <v Speaker 1>off the corn. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean that's an aggressively late nineties deal here, <v Speaker 2>I mean, good god. Yeah. Absolutely, So we have Chris <v Speaker 2>Jericho versus Hugh Morris. <v Speaker 1>Yes, you know what they're calling Chris Jericho at least <v Speaker 1>what Michael Cole says that he is what he's the <v Speaker 1>flamboyant vigilante. <v Speaker 2>Uh I thought he was a Jericho Hollock. <v Speaker 1>What the fuck? Like, yeah, what, Yeah, that'll catch on <v Speaker 1>pretty good. There. <v Speaker 2>There's a fucking great shot here of Jericho's tron as <v Speaker 2>it backs out to him on the ramp. It looked godly. <v Speaker 2>I love that good. <v Speaker 1>I reckon like the ovaltron set, Like I remember that <v Speaker 1>Jericho shot more than most entrances in that era. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, dude, it looked awesome. <v Speaker 1>Yeah sick. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, So I guess Jericho is gonna be working Hugh <v Speaker 2>Morris tonight. Fuck the rock won't work at Humorris. <v Speaker 4>You know what I mean? <v Speaker 1>Like that's like I get it right, like Slim Pickens <v Speaker 1>not everyone came over from w CW. But like no <v Speaker 1>land Storm's here. <v Speaker 2>Well, Hugh Morris hot starts on Chris Jericho here, but <v Speaker 2>Jericho hits him with a big line and then elbows <v Speaker 2>him right on the top of his head. <v Speaker 1>Dude, he blitzes them. <v Speaker 2>Bulldog here from Jericho. Jericho goes for the Lions Salt, <v Speaker 2>but Hugh Morris gets the legs up. Morris hits a <v Speaker 2>belly to belly here for a two. I was surprised <v Speaker 2>even got Jericho down, to be honest, Morris goes for <v Speaker 2>a power bomb, but Jericho rolls through into the walls <v Speaker 2>of Jericho and he taps out. <v Speaker 1>You suck. Jecko looks out and says, your company died. <v Speaker 1>He did a lion Tamer style. <v Speaker 2>Too, Yeah, he did it. Looked great. It shows a replay. <v Speaker 2>Jericho is now up by the ramp and uh we hear. <v Speaker 2>Of course for some reason, Rhino's TNA music, Gore's. <v Speaker 1>Billy gunn. <v Speaker 2>So Rhino's here at the ramp to meet Jericho. Of course, <v Speaker 2>he glombs Jericho. He sue plexes him on the ramp <v Speaker 2>and we get one of the biggest moments. To me <v Speaker 2>at least, I'm not sure how you feel about it, <v Speaker 2>but this is a big SmackDown like oval Era moment <v Speaker 2>to me. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, one hundred percent, dude. I mean this is a <v Speaker 1>you know, we talk about moments that are intro video <v Speaker 1>worthy and this like this is definitely one of them, <v Speaker 1>like crazy shot in retrospect. Pretty silly for what it <v Speaker 1>like why they did it, but cool as fuck. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. So, Rhino souplexes Jericho on the ramp, He backs up, <v Speaker 2>does his taunt, and then Rhino gores Jericho through the stage. <v Speaker 1>Dude right through the video wall, puts them right through <v Speaker 1>it craz like really cool visual. The wall fucking falls over, <v Speaker 1>like these dudes are laying in this pile of just <v Speaker 1>rubble dead. Commentary slipping out test is why to j <v Speaker 1>just got Gordon to the next millennium. Shut his mouth. <v Speaker 2>Jericho takes it great here too. This looks awesome, dude. <v Speaker 1>It flails his arms back like fully just sent into <v Speaker 1>the screen. Very cool, they replay. It looks sick as hell. Yeah, dude, <v Speaker 1>this is a I mean, this is a something I <v Speaker 1>vividly remember for some reason in my brain though I <v Speaker 1>remember it being like a lot bigger of a like <v Speaker 1>fall here than it was like going through just a screen. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I thought it look cool though, No, it was <v Speaker 2>cool shit. <v Speaker 1>And another thing I don't remember about it was that <v Speaker 1>it didn't end the show. <v Speaker 2>Yeah right, it was just right here in the middle. <v Speaker 1>So not only does it I mean we'll talk about <v Speaker 1>it just jump ahead a little bit, but not only <v Speaker 1>does this not end the show, but they just put <v Speaker 1>it back up. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, well, you know. <v Speaker 1>What the fuck? I like, I thought, like, Okay, that's <v Speaker 1>gonna be like be broken for the rest of the night, <v Speaker 1>and then they'll you know, we get it. As we mentioned, earlier. <v Speaker 1>We get a whole new not only backdrop. We get <v Speaker 1>a whole new stage next week, which unnecessary. I mean, <v Speaker 1>I'm glad they did it because it's one of the <v Speaker 1>best ever, but didn't need to for this. They just <v Speaker 1>very easily put this screen back up. This didn't really <v Speaker 1>have any impact whatsoever. <v Speaker 2>We go backstage. Stephanie comes up to Rhino and says, <v Speaker 2>that was fucking awesome. Due was like all the time, <v Speaker 2>What the fuck? How did you guys die? <v Speaker 1>That's right, motherfucker. I want Jericho at summer slap fuck. <v Speaker 1>Yeah you do. You wrestle him every week if you <v Speaker 1>want to do that shit. That sounds kick ass. I'm <v Speaker 1>gonna watch that. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, dude, you're awesome. We go backstage. Perry Saturn in <v Speaker 2>ring gear is now talking to the police. <v Speaker 1>He's talking to the cops. He called the cops to <v Speaker 1>put out a missing person's report on MOPy, and the <v Speaker 1>cop is asking him, oh shit, like you got a <v Speaker 1>picture of this person, And Perry of course has a <v Speaker 1>picture of Moppy in his gear, which he pulls out <v Speaker 1>and shows of the cop, and the guy says, this <v Speaker 1>is a mop. You called us out here for a mop, <v Speaker 1>and Perry says, yes, Moppy c. Mcmoperson, and you guys <v Speaker 1>have to help me find her. <v Speaker 2>I never knew Moppy's full name. <v Speaker 1>Moppy c mcmopperson. They should have put that in the <v Speaker 1>game as well. <v Speaker 2>Why not, dude. By the way, this whole deal here <v Speaker 2>felt like a SpongeBob scene. <v Speaker 1>That is a fantastic way to put it. Yeah, I <v Speaker 1>mean it's it's actually pretty well done. <v Speaker 2>Yes, yeah, it's funny. <v Speaker 1>The second guy says, we'll give you a call when <v Speaker 1>we hear something, and Perry says thank you, thank you, <v Speaker 1>and second cop says, no, thank you, Perry. They walk away. <v Speaker 1>It pans up to Perry's face. You're welcome. I will <v Speaker 1>spoil here for those that might not know, because I <v Speaker 1>guess there's a chance that nobody has any goddamn clue <v Speaker 1>what MOPy is. This leads to Raven, who has not <v Speaker 1>only taken Perry Sadden's ex girlfriend or valet. I guess <v Speaker 1>I don't know what they actually were. Raven puts MOPy <v Speaker 1>through a wood chipper. <v Speaker 2>Ah. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, we haven't watched that though, so well, we'll get <v Speaker 1>there eventually. But that's where it goes. That's who Terry <v Speaker 1>stole Moppy and Raven kills MOPy and then goes Perry's <v Speaker 1>career as well. <v Speaker 2>So now it's time for the main event, Dudley Boys <v Speaker 2>and Steve Austin versus Hardy Boys and Kurt Angle elimination <v Speaker 2>tag team. <v Speaker 1>Match, big fucking match. Dude. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Steve Austin has the disturbed theme here with the <v Speaker 2>red ring jacket. I love that fucking hard. <v Speaker 1>I mean this this guy is mean, dude. Like it's <v Speaker 1>even funnier because he's like kind of a chicken shit, <v Speaker 1>but this guy is like so fucking sick and I <v Speaker 1>love that, dude. Yeah, And this is where I'm like, yeah, wow, <v Speaker 1>they just put the video wall back up and there's <v Speaker 1>stuff playing on it, like they didn't really break anything <v Speaker 1>when Ronald Gordon's guy through this. That sucks. <v Speaker 2>It's a good fucking chance. Also, they just recorded it like. <v Speaker 1>Cold, oh, like out of Oh yeah that's true, that's true. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>Kirk comes out here, he's got the straps down. <v Speaker 1>He is fucking jacked, dude, jacked and over and he's <v Speaker 1>only been here for what maybe two years if that? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, right, he came in the same time as Taz. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, dude, Like fucking shit, he is a top guy <v Speaker 1>already like toe to toe at Austin, not even a <v Speaker 1>blink of that being something weird like he's super I mean, <v Speaker 1>what a what a run he already had here? <v Speaker 2>Yeah. Also Angle gets a lot of pyro. <v Speaker 1>Tons of pyro dude, Yeah, I mean cool this single. <v Speaker 1>It's not uh one that I really remember though, just <v Speaker 1>full like dark blue. <v Speaker 2>I actually do remember this one for some reason. Yeah, <v Speaker 2>default kind of deal. Oh sure, okay, So Kurt wants <v Speaker 2>Steve Austin of course to get in the ring, but <v Speaker 2>Steve Austin stands on the apron and smiles at Kurt. <v Speaker 2>Funny shot. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, Dude's Austin wants nothing to do with that. So <v Speaker 1>Kurt and Bubba will start of course. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Kurt tags out to Matt, and then Bubba tags <v Speaker 2>in Steve Austin. I thought that was funny as shit. <v Speaker 1>Austin gives him no time to like fix that situation either. <v Speaker 1>Austin tags in and immediately runs into lock up with <v Speaker 1>Matt and puts Matt in a very long side headlock <v Speaker 1>where he stares at Kurt with the shittiest look on <v Speaker 1>his face. Yeah. <v Speaker 2>I love this little interaction here. So Matt tries to <v Speaker 2>go over to tag in Kurt, and then Steve Austin <v Speaker 2>kicks Kurt's hand. Kurt comes in, and then Steve drags <v Speaker 2>Matt to the corner and everyone comes in and they <v Speaker 2>start kicking his ass. <v Speaker 1>What Matt's ass? <v Speaker 2>Dude? <v Speaker 1>This is so fucking shitty. Man Like Austin and Dudley's <v Speaker 1>are a good little trio. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I thought this was awesome already right off. <v Speaker 1>Rip. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Devon tags in and Matt hits a neck breaker <v Speaker 2>and tags in Jeff. They hit poetry in motion for <v Speaker 2>a two very cool Bubba blind tags in and Devon <v Speaker 2>drops down and Bubba just destroys Jeff with a line. <v Speaker 1>Here. <v Speaker 2>They were snug in this main. <v Speaker 1>Well, I guess you know which is fucking one. Like <v Speaker 1>I mentioned about the APA, that shit always makes me <v Speaker 1>way more locked in on the match too. I mean, <v Speaker 1>Dudley's and Hardy's have been killing each other for two <v Speaker 1>years now as well, right, so I imagine they're pretty <v Speaker 1>familiar with we gotta throw here. Especially in the main. <v Speaker 2>Bubba and Devon then double flapjack Jeff and they almost <v Speaker 2>lose him in the lights. <v Speaker 1>I swear, dude, I swear we've seen this happen before, <v Speaker 1>and I swear we talked about it was like, oh, <v Speaker 1>I thought they were going for a back body drop <v Speaker 1>and they turned into a flapjack and Jeff like almost died. <v Speaker 1>This might be a Jeff Hardy spot. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I definitely think it is, cause like it's. <v Speaker 1>Scary as shit, man, Like, it looks like he's coming, <v Speaker 1>he's flipping for the back body and he comes down <v Speaker 1>crazy on his shoulder like, And it wouldn't put it <v Speaker 1>past me that that was on purpose. <v Speaker 2>Jeff hits the whisper in the wind for a double down. <v Speaker 2>Kurt comes in, he cleans house with a huge line <v Speaker 2>on Bubba and a belly to belly on Devon. It's funny. <v Speaker 2>The line he hit on Bubba here reminded me of <v Speaker 2>how Trevor Lee would do his line. <v Speaker 1>Dude, okay, that's so funny you say that the fucking <v Speaker 1>I mean Austin and the Dudley's here reminded me of <v Speaker 1>Priest and Drevor a lot. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, it's great. The Hardys do house shows. This leaves <v Speaker 2>Kurt and Devon in the ring. Devon goes for saving Grace, <v Speaker 2>Kurt flips out and picks his leg locks in the <v Speaker 2>ankle lock, and Devon taps out, being the first one <v Speaker 2>eliminated in this match. <v Speaker 1>I love that. I thought the counter looked awesome. Kurt, like, <v Speaker 1>flipping over out of what is essentially a reverse duplex <v Speaker 1>looks pretty nuts. Like Kurt's a big dude to be <v Speaker 1>flipping backwards like that. I know he does the moon <v Speaker 1>saw and shit, but you know, standing is nuts. Picks <v Speaker 1>the ankle pick getting such a reaction is like, I <v Speaker 1>think that's awesome. And he like a crowd coming up <v Speaker 1>for the beginning of a submission means you're over his shit. <v Speaker 2>Bubba comes in and starts chopping down Kurt. Immediately, Matt <v Speaker 2>comes in and takes down Bubba with a line off <v Speaker 2>the top for two. Austin hits Matt, Bubba grabs Matt <v Speaker 2>into the Bubba Bomb hits it three count. Matt Hardy <v Speaker 2>is now eliminated. <v Speaker 1>Kind of surprised, you know, I guess maybe you know, <v Speaker 1>they didn't have another move and maybe Bubba was just <v Speaker 1>doing that, But I didn't think the Bubba Bomb would <v Speaker 1>do it. They didn't even have a name yet. They <v Speaker 1>just said, oh, he fucking in with the Bubba move. <v Speaker 2>Dude. Matt gets hang time on this move too. He <v Speaker 2>really gets up there. <v Speaker 1>That's gotta suck. <v Speaker 2>We go to commercial and come back. Bubba misses a <v Speaker 2>sent on off the second classic. Jeff goes up, hits <v Speaker 2>the swanton bomb, fucking crunches this dude. <v Speaker 1>Oh my god, Jeff lands on him with full ass <v Speaker 1>like he he smothers this dude with it man and <v Speaker 1>he he goes for the cover by that old rattlesnake, <v Speaker 1>pulls the ref out of the ring, son of a bitch. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, So Steve Austin pulls the ref on the two. <v Speaker 2>Steve Austin then hits a stunner on Jeff Hardy, who <v Speaker 2>eats shit on it. <v Speaker 1>Jeff dies, Austin gets caught up in his shirt because <v Speaker 1>Jeff's shirt is all just caught up in bullshit, and uh, <v Speaker 1>I mean very Austin. I don't I don't know if <v Speaker 1>Austin's ever talked about working with the Hardy's, but I <v Speaker 1>actually always really liked him working with him too. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Steve Austin was locked in at this point too, <v Speaker 2>for sure. So Bubba covers Jeff. The ref comes in. <v Speaker 2>It's a three count. It is now Kurt Angle versus <v Speaker 2>Bubba and Steve Austin. <v Speaker 1>That's some shut your mouth shit. <v Speaker 2>Steve Austin is being chased by Kurt Angle around the ring. <v Speaker 2>He comes in, he gets out of the way, and <v Speaker 2>Bubba hits a huge line on Kurt here to take <v Speaker 2>him down. Fuck fucking good too, Yeah, good stooge and man, Yeah, <v Speaker 2>good shit Here Bubba beats him down, then tags into <v Speaker 2>Steve Austin, who comes in and chokes Kurt Angle. He <v Speaker 2>literally just gets on top of him starts choking him <v Speaker 2>to death. <v Speaker 1>Double goosele on the ground. <v Speaker 2>So Austin Kurt trade blows here and then Austin hits <v Speaker 2>a huge fucking thes press. Good god, dude, the camera <v Speaker 2>shot was awesome. <v Speaker 1>Austin gets mega height. He must have had plus three <v Speaker 1>hundred stats in TK. He gets so high up there <v Speaker 1>on this luthez and I thought he was gonna jump <v Speaker 1>over Kurt. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. He goes into the elbow with theatrics for a <v Speaker 2>two count here. Incredible camera work. Yeah, it just looked awesome. <v Speaker 2>Austin curder locked in. Austin hits a spinebuster here on <v Speaker 2>Kurt for a two stuff. Just great beats here where <v Speaker 2>Austin is pissed that Kirk keeps fighting back and yeah, <v Speaker 2>just good stuff here all around. <v Speaker 1>And now I'm gonna do Chris Jarrich goes finish. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, so Austin locks in a Boston crowd. Wow, holy fuck. Okay, <v Speaker 2>So Kurt flips his legs out in this Boston crab <v Speaker 2>and Austin goes head first into the ground. <v Speaker 1>Dude. He like Kurt must have been super strong on <v Speaker 1>the pole or something, or Austin was in a weird angle. <v Speaker 1>He lands right on his head. <v Speaker 2>Kurt goes for the ankle lock here, but Bubba just <v Speaker 2>instantly breaks it up. <v Speaker 1>Kicks him fucking so hard in the head. <v Speaker 3>Dude. <v Speaker 2>It's a main event, man, this time, you get it together. <v Speaker 1>Yeah. I like this, And now it's time for me <v Speaker 1>to Germany on your fucking head. <v Speaker 2>Yeah. So Bubba tags in and Kurt throws Bubba into Austin. <v Speaker 2>It hits a German souplex here for a double down. <v Speaker 1>I love especially Bubba. I'll give him credit here. I <v Speaker 1>love a fat guy taking to German like, if you can, <v Speaker 1>it's brutal, dude. It always looks nuts, and if you <v Speaker 1>can get up for it, it looks insane. Like Kurt <v Speaker 1>gets lost behind him. <v Speaker 2>Bubba goes for the tag here, but Kurt grabs Bubba <v Speaker 2>and hits another German suplex to keep him from the corner. <v Speaker 1>Dude. Bubba then counters a whip and Kurt crushes his <v Speaker 1>face with a flying forearm. <v Speaker 2>Kurt punches Bubba down, he throws himself at him with <v Speaker 2>a line I love that grave babyface, desperation, Just fantastic stuff. <v Speaker 2>Kurt hits a belly to belly to Austin and then <v Speaker 2>an Olympic slam on. Bubba gets the three counts. So <v Speaker 2>now it's down to Kurt and Austin. <v Speaker 1>Let's go get this son of a bench Kurt. <v Speaker 2>Austin comes in immediately and Kurt takes his ankle and <v Speaker 2>he's tapping out man right away. <v Speaker 1>He gets them, but the ref is trying to give <v Speaker 1>Bubba out of the fucking ring. Oh you bastard, Oh you. <v Speaker 1>I was like, I was, I was looking, I was like, oh, <v Speaker 1>I was mad. For a second. <v Speaker 2>I was like, whoa, what the fuck dude? I love that. <v Speaker 2>Austin just immediately tapped out, like he put the ankle <v Speaker 2>lock in and like all of Austin's like badass personage <v Speaker 2>is instantly left. And he just tapped out immediately. <v Speaker 1>That was good, fantastic. <v Speaker 2>Dude Devon comes in with a chair and destroys Angle <v Speaker 2>with it a great cell here from Angle. <v Speaker 1>Kills Kurt with his chair, and you would think that, <v Speaker 1>like they show the ref is distracted and Devon hits <v Speaker 1>on the chair, you would think devivone would just leave. No, <v Speaker 1>the ref turns around and then they all continue to <v Speaker 1>beat the fuck at a curt Angle. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, Bubba and Devon pick up Angle. Steve Austin on <v Speaker 2>one leg hits him with a stunner. He was selling <v Speaker 2>this so well. I thought he was fucking hurt. <v Speaker 1>He's legit limping. Yeah, he sold this tremendously. I also <v Speaker 1>wasn't sure if the match was over, Like I was like, Okay, <v Speaker 1>this has to be done, but they don't think they <v Speaker 1>call for the bell. <v Speaker 2>Yeah, I'm gonna just chalk it up to a no contest. Sure, <v Speaker 2>Bubby and Devon hit the three D on Kurt Angle. <v Speaker 1>Dude Austin hits the stunner. He's laying on the ground <v Speaker 1>because his leg hurts, and he looks up at the <v Speaker 1>Dudley's give him the three D. They just do it. <v Speaker 1>They do it cold no Irish whip by the way. <v Speaker 2>Steve Austin then puts a chair on Kurt's ankle and <v Speaker 2>he pilmanizes his ankle. <v Speaker 1>Kurt ankle. <v Speaker 2>Get pilmanized, bitch, that's my boy. <v Speaker 1>Stomps the ship I did with him. I could do this. <v Speaker 1>He did it to me, and I did it to him. <v Speaker 1>So yeah, stops the share of his chair off. The <v Speaker 1>second crushes at Kurt's ankle. Kurt ankle, and then the <v Speaker 1>Hardy's come out for the save and uh, dude again, <v Speaker 1>very I mean very little thing. Just what a piece <v Speaker 1>of shit. Hardy's come out for the save. The Dudley <v Speaker 1>stands to fight, and Austin immediately powders. <v Speaker 2>Yes, I mean, come on, he's locked in, dick, so <v Speaker 2>Angle is saying it's broke, it's broken to the. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, for sure. <v Speaker 2>They just put him on a stretcher and just fucking <v Speaker 2>just on the stretcher and we'll get you out of here. <v Speaker 1>Put him on a stretcher and you can see it. <v Speaker 1>The Austin and Dudley's are like around the ring post laughing. <v Speaker 2>So Steve Austin grabs a mic and starts talking ship <v Speaker 2>to Kurt. <v Speaker 1>That's right, you ain't such a hero. Now are you? <v Speaker 1>You ain't so tough now are your Kurt? Hey, you <v Speaker 1>ain't so tough? Are you? Come here? <v Speaker 2>He? <v Speaker 1>Auston drops down. He's full limping. He's limping up the ram, <v Speaker 1>chasing after Kurt as they fucking push a stretcher up <v Speaker 1>the ramp to take this broken legged guy up to <v Speaker 1>the back. He's limping. Look at you, come here, hey, Kurt, <v Speaker 1>I bledge a legic. Turn the flag out out of <v Speaker 1>the United States of America and to the Republic. Oh <v Speaker 1>that's a bunch of. <v Speaker 2>Grab He's gonna get some heat. <v Speaker 1>He says, go get that, some bitch, and then Dudley's <v Speaker 1>run up the rim and attack the Hardy's. Austin is <v Speaker 1>limping up to Kurt while the Hardy's and Dudley's fight <v Speaker 1>around the stretcher, and Austin looks down at him, look <v Speaker 1>at you, the red, white and blue. You ain't such <v Speaker 1>a hero now, and he flips the stretcher over and <v Speaker 1>starts stopping him out of the stage. Pleasure to the flag. <v Speaker 1>Oh he not it Stage of America, stopping him with <v Speaker 1>each word, this is a piece of trash. Kurt's laying there, <v Speaker 1>Austin's running him down and then Kurt picks the ankle. <v Speaker 1>Kurt picks the fuck ankle, gets tough, the ankle lock. <v Speaker 1>Austin is immediately tapping out on the top of Oh <v Speaker 1>my god, Oh my god, I love this ship. Dude. <v Speaker 2>Did Kurt grabbing the ankle and then putting him in <v Speaker 2>the ankle lock on one knee was good stuff? Yeah? Fuck? <v Speaker 1>I thought this was legit perfect, like tremendous piece of business, Like, yeah, fantastic, dude. Yeah, <v Speaker 1>Bubba attacks Kurt, Jeff attacks Bubba. We get the split <v Speaker 1>with the Jeff's trying to hold Kurt back because Kurt's <v Speaker 1>obviously hurt and Austin is fucking laid out. He's hurt. <v Speaker 1>The last thing you see is Austin, no microphone on <v Speaker 1>his side, staring and pointing at Kurt, who's fuming like seething. <v Speaker 1>Kurt wants Austin, and Austin looks at him and he <v Speaker 1>points and says, I broke your leg. I broke your <v Speaker 1>damn leg. <v Speaker 2>He's gonna get some heat now. <v Speaker 1>He is the heat meister, dude. I say what you will, <v Speaker 1>like we said about the invasion, about Austin's He'll run <v Speaker 1>if you just look at what Austin did on this <v Speaker 1>show alone. I mean, this is awesome. <v Speaker 2>I love Austin. <v Speaker 1>Yeah, man, I think the flag. All right, hey Carted allegians, <v Speaker 1>get back here of the United States. What why because <v Speaker 1>you're a piece of trash? <v Speaker 2>Yeah, great stuff. <v Speaker 1>Everything he does like it is funny, but he's a <v Speaker 1>fucking piece of ship. <v Speaker 2>Yeah.
