00:00:00 Speaker 1: Boom Boom, pancakes cat boom, coming in hot with the whole guest check. You know you diving in simple syrup boom, give it to you like breakfast. That's all I got last week. 00:00:15 Speaker 2: That's okay, Okay, welcome to serving pancakes. Today, we have logan Niki from love Houstay just down ah our ages, stay hard and stay up. 00:00:43 Speaker 3: Okay. 00:00:44 Speaker 2: You are fresh off in n C Double A championship with Texas A and M. You broke the rally scoring kill record. Okay, you concluded your career in one thousand. Well, I'm you're gonna know now. Thanks not one thousand and six hundred and eighty six kills, and you rank third overall in program history. And it's your guys' first national title. So cool and a link and Regional Most Outstanding Player, All SEC First Team all of your years. Dang girl, that's crazy. You were one of two collegiate athletes to make the Nations League roster this year twenty twenty four collegiate national team member played in Brazil, Serbia, competed seven of eight matches, thirty eight kills of five blocks. Veteran of Houston Skyline, which we'll get to and a fourth generation Aggie. Ooh cat Bill. 00:01:35 Speaker 3: Oh, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Oh my gosh. 00:01:40 Speaker 2: Well, congrats on all your success. First of all, you've had a really incredible year. Yeah, and we just want to like chat with you about all of that. And then your transition into pro volleyball. So I guess what got you into volleyball first? Oh gosh. 00:01:56 Speaker 4: I mean I feel like I was the kid who just are there. Parents, like I forced me to play I think every single sport, like golf was terrible, tennis. They might have forced me to be left handed. I really don't know, because my parents was like right right, left and right, and my mom left like your left hand and like right left and right when I would go play tennis. 00:02:19 Speaker 2: So but no, I think, I don't. 00:02:22 Speaker 4: It was just the cool thing, Like you saw the cool high school girls playing and like that was so fun. 00:02:27 Speaker 2: You go to like. 00:02:28 Speaker 4: Varsity games with like your little fifth grade friends. And so I didn't start club till I was thirteen. 00:02:34 Speaker 2: Yeah, same, which I feel like nowadays is late, like these they're so. 00:02:42 Speaker 1: Specialized, like I didn't at seven yeah yeah, but still, but for me, I'm like growing up. I think most people that I was playing when I started coming out was we all started kind of late. I think y'all have been playing as y'all was thirteen. 00:02:53 Speaker 3: I didn't in eight years. 00:02:54 Speaker 1: A girl who's been playing they were nine, you know, I think it's kind of a new Like I don't think that's a new way that's they've been. 00:03:00 Speaker 3: For a minute. 00:03:01 Speaker 2: Yeah, especially to like falizing early. 00:03:04 Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. 00:03:05 Speaker 1: It's like like, was that like choosing your position early? 00:03:07 Speaker 3: Is that what that is? Especialized in sport? 00:03:11 Speaker 2: Like putting them in like club volleyball. 00:03:14 Speaker 4: I don't know, the travel stuff and like lessons and YadA, YadA, YadA, Like at eight years old, I feel. 00:03:20 Speaker 1: Like wait listening, I've seen some people parents have their kids that. 00:03:24 Speaker 2: Is wild to me. But I feel like this, but like you said, with the sports, but like doing a bunch of other sports, like that's what I did. I feel like you do two. But like doing other things helped me so much with my mechanics, like I don't know, reading the game a little bit better just because you know, you learn how to do so many different skills that were so helpful. 00:03:41 Speaker 4: Started off on the third team at Skyline and then kind of worked my way up. 00:03:47 Speaker 2: That was like college volleyball wasn't even in the cards. 00:03:50 Speaker 4: When I was like, you know, fifteen years old, I was like whatever, and then clearly it's all worked out. 00:03:55 Speaker 2: So but because you always know, were you like, I'm going to be an aggie no matter what, because like my family all went there and that's the whole thing, or you were like, okay, volleyballs, I have this opportunity, so I'm gonna go with it. Yeah. 00:04:10 Speaker 4: I felt like I was kind of like in between for a while, like trying to make the decision of like okay, because at first, like A and M definitely wasn't in the cards when I started recruiting, and I kind of had to make the decision not fully, but like think about, like, okay, if I were to go somewhere else, Like would I be okay with that if it's not A and M. Because I mean it, it's in my blood, like I grew up, went through that like a big part of my life, and so I don't know, I kept as I kept playing. 00:04:40 Speaker 2: I guess. 00:04:42 Speaker 4: Things ball started rolling, got a bit better interest from A and M happened, and then stars kind of aligned. They didn't even need an OPO technically. 00:04:53 Speaker 2: But like I'll play whatever position you need, like very clear, I will come play. I just what I so anyways, know it it all worked out committed, I don't even know. 00:05:05 Speaker 4: I was like in the middle of the rule change with recruiting, so like they change it now you can't start recruiting until June or junior year, which is like I had girls committing in the eighth grade when I was I don't know when y'all committed, but definitely wait then yeah, And so I like sat on my offer for a year and a half almost because we had to go silent. 00:05:32 Speaker 2: So it was like, oh, offered me and like all these other schools. 00:05:36 Speaker 4: I then like the rules change, how to go silent, couldn't do anything with recruiting, and then all of a sudden opened back up. And at that point, I mean I had already made my mind up, but kind of a weird, like unusual process, I guess. 00:05:51 Speaker 1: Not actually that you've done, like being with Aggie's, You've had like one of the highest opportunites you haveble to play Nation Championship. And when I think only two of us can say that in this group right now, Oh. 00:06:06 Speaker 3: My god. 00:06:07 Speaker 2: But then like in the last game we just played, Logan, did block you like straight down? I just want to I just. 00:06:11 Speaker 1: Want to say, I don't think that was Logan. That was Jordan, and she didn't block me straight down. 00:06:15 Speaker 3: I wouldn't know. I will know because I know how. 00:06:17 Speaker 1: Many opportunity to know it was Jordan because the ball was six ft off the net and I was a tippet like behind my head and JTB JT and she reached up the hung and grab it. 00:06:27 Speaker 3: Trust me, I don't get that any opportunities. I know what would happened to my balls. 00:06:31 Speaker 1: You always know, you know, I did know certainly what's her name, Jess. Jess got me, but I got her got her ass back, so. 00:06:39 Speaker 3: That was equaled out. 00:06:40 Speaker 1: It's fine anyways, but you know, I'm curious to ask it wasn't you, So it doesn't matter. I'm always like curious to ask, like if not the aggies, you know you have the experience, but if you could do it, like okay, not do it again, but like you you can't go there where else? 00:06:56 Speaker 3: Would you? 00:06:58 Speaker 2: Oh that's so hard. I mean I grew up in Texas and like I would I'm sorry. I would never go to Texas. Just that would be in my Yeah. 00:07:12 Speaker 4: I mean I love like the SEC you know of athletics and just I think across the board in every sport has just grown to be like such a competitive conference, like from top to bottom. So I mean I don't have anywhere in particular in mind, but maybe somewhere in the SEC I think would be I mean, we played Kentucky in the finals, so you know, just to be able to play like competitive matches and not have like, you know, the teams that you know you're going to. 00:07:42 Speaker 2: Go whoop up on, like I don't know, through conference. So maybe somewhere SEC. 00:07:46 Speaker 1: I was thinking about, like the lifestyle, I'm like, okay, do we do it again? 00:07:49 Speaker 3: Not go to Texas. I like, I'm going to California. 00:07:51 Speaker 2: I'm going to USC for in California, Kats in Miami. No, yeah, I. 00:08:00 Speaker 3: Want that kind of experience. 00:08:01 Speaker 2: You know, I would totally do that too, Like right on the beach. Oh my gosh, you played at Skyline Texas, A and M. Did you have just like a lot of people that would come watch you, obviously because you have so much family in Texas, Like, did you feel still really close to home family coming every game. 00:08:22 Speaker 4: Did you like that it was like the perfect distance, Like I would always say, like it was far enough to where like you didn't feel like your parents were like in your backyard like that kind of thing, but it was enough to like where they could come to every game and it was so awesome, like getting to hang out and like they're always there for football games and we have family and friends and cousins and everyone like who is connected to the school. So and on top of them, I feel like our fan base in general is very connected. Like they make you feel like you know them and they know you and all that. So even if my family wasn't there, like there was, it was always still just like a. 00:09:03 Speaker 2: Comforting feeling getting to play at home, yeah, with our crowd, and I feel like now all of those fans come to our games. And that's why we won the ticket challenge. Yeah, because your logo, Kat, did you know this fun fact? 00:09:17 Speaker 3: Oh that's crazy. 00:09:18 Speaker 1: It pisses me off that Maddy didn't post about it and that we could have won it and I'm just kidding. 00:09:23 Speaker 3: That was a competition. 00:09:25 Speaker 2: Yeah, Logan's really been holding it down, so big shout out to all of Logan's friends and family for coming to our games because we won the ticket challenge, because y'all. 00:09:33 Speaker 3: Thank you a shout out. 00:09:36 Speaker 2: So then, how has it been like circling back and you know, playing at Skyline, You're like basically the prime example of the youth to pro pipeline is that like a really cool experience for you. For sure. 00:09:47 Speaker 4: I was always kind of like, once you know, love became an option, like goal was kind of to come back to Houston just to be a part of that, like what you know love stands for and the whole purpose of it, to be able to kind of show like that it's actually possible. And it's been so weird, honestly, like because the building that we did not exist when I was there, so like driving up on day one, it was like this big fat building in the parking lot was weird, but just super cool. I don't know, like you said, like a ton of people come to the matches now and it's like I play a Skyline too, and it's like cool to connect with them in that way, like you can do this too, Like you can be here just like me, Like I'm nothing, No one's special, Like I just I'm the same as as like these little kids once were, and so I think that's really cool to be able to kind of connect with them like on that front because I've lived it like I did live it, So that's been really cool getting and just it's comforting being back home like yes, I grew up in Houston, but at the same time, like didn't live in the city. 00:10:54 Speaker 2: So that's been fun. 00:10:55 Speaker 4: Of like I don't know, a little bit new experience while also semi comfortable with. 00:11:00 Speaker 2: The space and the place. So that's been really cool. 00:11:05 Speaker 3: That's pretty cool. 00:11:05 Speaker 1: I think also, like I love, that's kind of what Love's whole like thing is, Like what they kind of stand for far is like being able to bring you know, players back here so that youth can like you know, see that they have this visual of what they can be in the future. And it's so cool to hear that through without saying those words directly, but to hear that transition through your. 00:11:23 Speaker 3: Stories and other player stories. 00:11:25 Speaker 1: You know, same thing if you're coming out of college and be able to come back home and play your hometown hero, your family and stuff is there, and now you're seeing girls who played through the same club as you, who want to be like you now. I think it's just so cool to like you be able to now see like, Okay, this is what their dream and what their goal was to have for athletes coming out of college, and like that feeling of it, and it's doing a lot of work. And I think it's really cool that like you're having that experience too. Like you said, your family's down the street, and I'm sure everyone's really happy us. 00:11:51 Speaker 3: To have you back. So that's awesome. 00:11:53 Speaker 4: Yeah, no, especially yeah, like getting to be an example without like actually having to say it, and like I think that's super cool. 00:12:00 Speaker 2: Yeah, you get to live it. Do your parents just ever drop by your house? Or do you go home a lot? You guys do. A lot of families don't. 00:12:07 Speaker 4: Know because it's still like Houston. I mean traffic sucks. Yeah, it's and it's horrible. So like my dad works probably fifteen minutes for me, So sometimes after practice, I'll like pop over, we'll go to lunch. 00:12:19 Speaker 2: Oh that's really sweet. 00:12:22 Speaker 4: And then on like the days Zoe we play Aticenter because that's a whole other trek, like playing down there like twenty five minutes from there, So I'll go like after serve and pass hang out of my house with my dog. 00:12:35 Speaker 3: What that is so nice? 00:12:38 Speaker 2: Huh? 00:12:41 Speaker 3: Good to know. 00:12:42 Speaker 1: Yeah, not Maddie inviting herself, that's crazy. 00:12:47 Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe I'll just stop buying I follow you home, just kidding it. Whatever, Okay, and we have Maddie walk here too. 00:12:58 Speaker 3: Is that crazy or what? 00:12:59 Speaker 2: Because you guys have been on every team together. 00:13:02 Speaker 4: Yeah. Literally, when I found the news out that she got cut from Vibe, I was like and like knowing Mike situation of like we needed another B side setter, like all the gears were turning, and it was just like the pert form like it it had to happen, especially with her having played at Skyland two like connections to the club, like it was meant to be. 00:13:27 Speaker 1: Did you say to her, did you talk to her to make that happen or make her think about that transition? 00:13:31 Speaker 3: No? 00:13:31 Speaker 4: No, it literally was like a two day transition, like she got gone crazy. Yeah, like literally flew in from Atlanta, landed next morning. 00:13:41 Speaker 2: Was that practice with us? 00:13:43 Speaker 4: Flew out to Atlanta again for our game in Atlanta in a different jersey like yeah, so her So No, it's been so great. I've been saying, like I can't use Maddie as my like Crutch forever, my third time playing with her, but I will say like having her in like a transition period is really nice. So like getting my feet under me first year of pro and she's a stud. She literally came in day one, was dishing out like It's just it was so natural for her. 00:14:14 Speaker 2: You guys are both killing it, Like I am very impressed with you guys, like literally going as the dub sub and I am like, they're gonna do their thing like and then she literally gives you every first ball and I'm like, boom, this is it? Like yeah, so much confidence out of both of you, and I love that, Like you guys have each other because they obviously you just won a national championship together, played forever together, and I can tell there's just so much trust there and like you guys going in ball. 00:14:37 Speaker 1: So I'm going to add that to my scattering report for Wednesday. 00:14:42 Speaker 3: Dub subs. 00:14:48 Speaker 2: Maybe a reverse cycle? Yeah, Kat, what are you guys gonna do on Wednesday against us? 00:14:56 Speaker 3: You'll have to. 00:14:56 Speaker 1: See, Okay, but honestly we're going to yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, we haven't. 00:15:05 Speaker 2: But lo, how do you feel like your first season is going so far? 00:15:09 Speaker 3: Good? 00:15:10 Speaker 4: I think like not even a shock when I first got there, because I knew it was going to be different. But you know, just being honest, like you come off of a high of winning a national championship, like biggest part of my career, most success, whatever, and then you come and all of a sudden like bottom of the food chain, learning, trying to keep your head above water. It's just a lot like a tough transition going from here to here. And but I do think like it has gone night and day better and that I mean it helps having like amazing teammates around you who talk you through stuff of what's going on, and I like our staff and everyone, and it just takes time, like adjusting the speed and the systems and uh chi and what the hell other. 00:16:01 Speaker 2: Words seven Like I don't even know what that. Yeah, no, I don't know. She knows what they are, but like no we call them sometimes, yeah yeah, different names, different names. 00:16:13 Speaker 1: Uh. 00:16:14 Speaker 4: But no, like I think just the first month was a little rough, like first couple of weeks just I don't know, new team. You go from being the senior leader and now you're learning everything. It's just a very starkly transition. 00:16:26 Speaker 1: Uh. 00:16:27 Speaker 4: But now I feel like I've gotten like way more comfortable, you know, even just being myself. Like that's part of it too, is like you know this team, like everyone knows each other. 00:16:36 Speaker 2: Like you're still trying to learn all while learning volleyball. 00:16:39 Speaker 4: Too, Like it's so many pieces combined that people don't I think think about. 00:16:45 Speaker 2: When you like make that kind of transition. 00:16:47 Speaker 1: So so has anything like surprised you since playing pros and thing, it's been like oh this is different or this is faster or whatever it is. 00:16:54 Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean definitely faster and just like way better. 00:17:00 Speaker 4: Like you don't realize that. I think like until you're in it of like you're watch and you're like, oh, like everyone's good whatever, But then you get in it and it's like holy and. 00:17:10 Speaker 2: I feel like as you go, like you realize like, okay, I'm going to take we're taking line on this person, and like collegiately, maybe it's like okay, that's really all that they have is the line. So now we've shut down that player. We don't have to worry about them. But then it's like once you get here, it's like Okay, everyone at this level can do everything on any given night, and it's like Okay, how do you adjust on the fly? 00:17:28 Speaker 3: How do you you know, like you're really. 00:17:30 Speaker 2: Problem solving, maybe more as the match goes on, because people are going to change things, but they have the capacity to do all of the skills at a really high level, which maybe collegiately like yeah, you have one or two players on a team that you have to stop and you're like, okay, we could win this one. But here, every single team is like stacked with really great people, so it's definitely a step up. 00:17:51 Speaker 1: Well, speaking of stacked people and having such an amazing vet to help you through the weeds. 00:17:57 Speaker 3: How is it having Maddie as a teammate? Is she a tot? Sure? 00:18:00 Speaker 1: Not so I'm just kidding's playing there. 00:18:04 Speaker 4: No, I love playing especially against her in practice, Like I don't know, you like to scream and you're like feisty and you get like I don't know, and I'm pretty competitive, and I like like being able to go against that, and I think that pushes like me to be better and you to be better and all the things. 00:18:23 Speaker 2: And so no, it's really fun, especially. 00:18:25 Speaker 3: If you get like kind of like like thick. 00:18:27 Speaker 1: You know, we have days where like we're competing and if it's kind of. 00:18:30 Speaker 2: Like not too much, like there's some people will get chirpy, but it's I feel like your gym, Cat is a little more like I'm going to talk through the net. 00:18:42 Speaker 3: I feel like we're not really like that. 00:18:45 Speaker 2: We're just like I'm going to be scoring points and like actually beating you. But like you saying something to the net at me, like doesn't really do anything for me. Like Cat knows yelling through the net doesn't work for me. 00:18:57 Speaker 3: Maddie will not respond. She doesn't even talk to you. 00:19:00 Speaker 1: If you can say that's a good swing, She's like, don't talk to me like it's focus, don't we don't yell. 00:19:06 Speaker 3: Yes, I might even say. 00:19:07 Speaker 2: That, Yeah, I feel like you guys caused at each other through the net, like you're yelling. You're saying stuff to maybe like rile people up, you know. But like for me, I'm like I'm not going to give into anything that anyone says at me through the net. You can say whatever you want. You could say something about my mom and I'd be like, okay. 00:19:24 Speaker 3: Okay, what if I say you got it? 00:19:25 Speaker 2: It gives you But we all know that you're lying, and that's true. 00:19:30 Speaker 3: But like I don't know. 00:19:31 Speaker 2: I feel like it gives the person like you're trying to get a rise out of me by doing that, and I'm not going to give it to you. So that's my opinion on because I'm going for the hands cat and you know that. 00:19:42 Speaker 1: Yeah, cool, out of system, pool whatever. 00:19:46 Speaker 2: Team Fresh gear from Adidas is what you need. The Adidas Love Collection just dropped and you can shop it right now. Hoodies, tease jerseys, whatever you're into, They've got it. And I'm not exaggerating when I say the hoodies and cruise are ridiculously soft. You will not want to take them off, I promise. Check out the full Adidas Love Collection at Adidas dot com, slash us, slash LOVB. 00:20:13 Speaker 1: Well, we're coming to Houston, so you've I'm sure Mattie is introduced you. She's a big back because you did introduce you to something too good to eat. 00:20:20 Speaker 2: Any logan should know the food around here. She's from. 00:20:24 Speaker 3: Are you born and raised? Born and raised? Are you born and raised from Houston? Okay? Born and raised? 00:20:28 Speaker 2: So it's your favorite Houston restaurant? That's so hard. 00:20:35 Speaker 4: I mean one lately, I guess I shouldn't even say this because it just closed, but super. 00:20:40 Speaker 2: Rica, have you been there, Maddy? They're like, no, I. 00:20:42 Speaker 3: Haven't, but I've heard of it. 00:20:43 Speaker 2: I think you guys are talking about this the other day. Yeah. 00:20:46 Speaker 4: So they just changed it to a steakhouse like it was a Mexican restaurant in it to a steakhouse called Star Rover. I think. Anyways, that was like my best find so far, but they. 00:21:00 Speaker 2: Must have not been that good. Just kidding. The guy wanted a new concept. I don't know. 00:21:07 Speaker 4: Okay, whatever, you always try places where do you what's your favorite money? 00:21:11 Speaker 3: Oh man? 00:21:13 Speaker 2: I love Agnes and Sherman. I love Marmo. Marmo for happy hours, like one of my favorites. 00:21:18 Speaker 3: I don't know why. 00:21:19 Speaker 2: They just have good, like little small things that are very happy hour forward like. And they have like outdoor seatings so when it gets nice outside, you can just go, like have some bubbles out there, have a little whatever, little Caesar salad action. I like Agnes and Sherman a lot in the heights on twentieth Street. Yeah yeah, and there's really so many. 00:21:40 Speaker 1: What's that breakfast spot you took me to that was pretty good? Took me to the breakfast spot like you walk up to the register and you can like they're like making bread and you can like order. 00:21:51 Speaker 3: And then you sit down and I guess that's every restaurant, isn't that you talk about? Okay? 00:21:57 Speaker 2: Wait? 00:21:57 Speaker 3: What games? 00:21:57 Speaker 2: So we play each other Wednesday and then we play Atlanta Saturday. Cat What do you guys have this week? 00:22:03 Speaker 3: Us? 00:22:03 Speaker 2: Wednesday? 00:22:04 Speaker 1: We fly to Madison over the weekend. Oh, like what we did? That's a tough trip. You fly to Chicago drive? 00:22:16 Speaker 3: I don't know. 00:22:17 Speaker 1: We fly play with you guys on Wednesday, come back Wednesday night, and we don't travel think until Saturday. 00:22:23 Speaker 3: Though. 00:22:24 Speaker 2: Okay, nice, did you see who's at the top of the standings recently? 00:22:34 Speaker 3: And what you want to tuck this out? I don't come Maddie again. 00:22:39 Speaker 1: I'm just going we are so mad about this past week. So it's still fresh. We coming in hot, so we mad. 00:22:47 Speaker 2: That's okay. We have Logan yo, worry about it. And we also have Jordan who's five point shive being one hundred points ahead of the second place points person, which is Mattie Skinner. Jordan has three twenty and two twenty five. I just want to like throw I just have. 00:23:02 Speaker 1: It in the notes I'll make sure that all herd that that she needs to catch up tomorrow. 00:23:07 Speaker 4: Maybe. 00:23:07 Speaker 2: Okay, wait, Kat, Now this last weekend was Kat's birthday, So you just want to like touch on it quick turned thirty thirty three body tea. 00:23:18 Speaker 3: That's what we're saying. 00:23:19 Speaker 1: I just want to say, Logan, you have this look forward to when you come my age, you know, so you know you have tan skin, dark hair, dark eyes, so you're gonna be closer and more looking like me than you look like Maddie. So that's a good things. Every day, Logan, you're running yoga today. 00:23:33 Speaker 2: I'm going to yoga tonight. 00:23:34 Speaker 3: Yeah, perfect, there you go. 00:23:35 Speaker 2: I've never been. It's so good for nice. 00:23:39 Speaker 3: I like it. Mattie, you've gone a few times. What do you think? I like it a lot. 00:23:43 Speaker 2: Actually, it's like you got you might have to go at your own pace, and then like as you go, they move to exercises really quickly, so it's like more just learning how to navigate the class rather than like the exercises itself. But for somebody with like a lot like our stature, it is really hard because you're like holding poses and they want you to do it really slow and I'm just like, my body doesn't feel like it's built for this. It's built for like lifting heavy weight, so it's different for sure. But anyway, kat birthday was good. Oh, birthday was good. 00:24:15 Speaker 1: So I kind of did like a three day kind of thing because you know, the extra. 00:24:19 Speaker 3: Three at the back of my of my age. 00:24:21 Speaker 1: So Thursday I did a happy hour happy hour with some close friends I live up north where I live, and my mom and boyfriend, and then Mattie came by after we got back my happy hour first of all, and we had my friend got me some I guess Trader Joe's has a new bag of like spicy chip fresh. Yeah, they were not good. We tried them and moved them away. So we did that and then Friday, Wait can we talk about really quickly? 00:24:48 Speaker 2: I need to just need to interject. 00:24:49 Speaker 3: I asked Kat if she. 00:24:50 Speaker 2: Had any like sweet treats, and she literally made me the smallest, tiniest ice cream cone that I've ever seen in my whole life. She was like a third body thirty three body tea. It's literally this big. And I was that it was a mini com with like one mini school. 00:25:07 Speaker 3: That's all you need. It's just a taste. 00:25:09 Speaker 1: You don't need to indulge, Yeah, like me to sonic. 00:25:15 Speaker 3: Yeah, she wanted something more sweet. 00:25:18 Speaker 1: I got like a diet dirty soda and she got a. 00:25:23 Speaker 3: Shake. 00:25:24 Speaker 2: Yeah it was a double swirl. Yeah I needed that's funny. 00:25:29 Speaker 3: Friday was the game. 00:25:31 Speaker 2: We think. 00:25:34 Speaker 3: After the game, we went. 00:25:36 Speaker 1: To like just like like talk us in tequila, like so we got to have some drinks and some tacos, kind of stay out kind of late. And then Saturday was like the really big like personal day of like friend group and family. My mom's seventy two years old, so like she never she uses a walker. She doesn't get out a lot of stuff a lot often to like do a lot of like you know, social stuff. 00:25:57 Speaker 3: But like I don't mind. 00:25:59 Speaker 1: Taking her place because I know how to like take my time with her. And so it was really cool to have her a happy hour this week. And then like moving out to dinner, went to a really nice restaurant and across the streets a place called Devil Maycare. It's like a lounge like bar, definitely. 00:26:12 Speaker 3: For the older people. You know you're not here yet, and it was like so much fun. 00:26:17 Speaker 1: Like they have stairs to get down to the down to the lounge and the door guy like grabs the walker for my mom. She's like holding the stairwheel walking down and we kind of sliding to the club. 00:26:25 Speaker 3: Everyone what the hell? When I tell y'all, we turned that out. 00:26:29 Speaker 1: We turned it up like videos my mom singing like Cardi B. She loves loves loves Cardi B. So every time a Cardi B sent came sung on could if you wanted to these expensive she was going crazy. So, my god, I will say she has been bedridden for at least since Saturday. I will say that she said her hip is not hipping the best few hours cover. Yeah, she's she's she and she had quite a bit to Maddie. She says she wasn't drunk, but she was drunk on the next day. 00:26:59 Speaker 2: She didn't believe it. 00:27:00 Speaker 3: I think I want to throw up. 00:27:01 Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, that's called age, you know. So arranted that she was in the club, Like when she came home. 00:27:07 Speaker 3: She was like, that's birthday. Ever, I was like, it wasn't even your day, it was my birthday. Yeah. 00:27:15 Speaker 1: We had a great time. So I will say I'm very happy, very thankful. When I came into practice on Thursday, like I never cry. I'm just like, it's just hard for me to cry, you know. And then I just felt like so much gratitude, and I just felt like so like loved, you know, from the girls, like someone walking they were just like everyone was just so they're always nice to me, of course, but like, you know, it's. 00:27:34 Speaker 3: Just a different. 00:27:35 Speaker 1: It was the feeling that I was having. And I cried, which was crazy. I was crying so hard. They thought, I know. 00:27:42 Speaker 3: They were like, are these happy tears? 00:27:44 Speaker 2: You know? 00:27:45 Speaker 3: Something wrong, you know, And I'm just like, yeah, I'm so happy, you know. 00:27:48 Speaker 2: So. But it was a really really good birthday. Yeah, yay, we'll celebrate again in the summer when we go to Miami. 00:27:56 Speaker 3: Yeah, we're going to be Miami turning up another nu. 00:28:00 Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. 00:28:01 Speaker 3: Okay. 00:28:02 Speaker 2: And also we went to the rodeo this weekends. By the way, but I saw you with that little ice cream cone. Don't worry, I picked my dudes. We went to Off the Record, so you know, yeah, you went to Off. 00:28:19 Speaker 3: The Record after the rodeo. Yeah, so you went in already blazing for sure. Okay. 00:28:25 Speaker 2: Well, I will say one funny thing. Like we were out, it was Daylight Savings. This weekend. So like while I was out, the clock rolls forward and then I text my husband when I get home and I was like, hey, I made it home safe, whatever, But it looked like it was an hour later then like. 00:28:41 Speaker 3: It actually was, and he was. 00:28:45 Speaker 2: Right, and I was like, wow, did it get so late so quickly? And then I realized that it had sprung forward and I was like, oh my god, this is just this more pain that I didn't need, less hours of sleep, isn't it crazy? 00:28:58 Speaker 3: So it was like eaven last night, trying to go a bit. I was pissed. 00:29:01 Speaker 1: Everyone gets the clock. I'm like, it's eleven thirty. It'd be ten thirty right now if you going to sleep, and I'll still be on my time frame, you know. 00:29:08 Speaker 3: Mm hmm. 00:29:09 Speaker 2: Yeah, I was upset.
