The One Where Everyone Confesses... To Something
Lala’s brother Easton returns, and they both make some big, and very funny, childhood confessions that may or may not have resulted in both of them having to appear in court! Lala remembers her first ever lie, and Easton remembers getting his mouth washed out with soap (though they do call Lisa for verification). And there are tangents a plenty including talk about Balenciaga and Kim Kardashian, Lisa’s sweet potatoes, hotdogs, and Thanksgiving with Jax & Brittany!

00:00:06 Speaker 1: What's up? Gorgeous people, welcome back to give them a La La podcast. We are a week. It was a week since we celebrated Thanksgiving. Yes, I'm still swole af. There's a lot of salt and Thanksgiving dinner. And every day that I wake up, have woken up since Thursday. I'm yield puffer fish shield the leftovers. By the way, I have Easton back on the podcast. Brother Jessica, my brain and left side of my body. Hi jess Hi, No, Thanksgiving was amazing. 00:00:49 Speaker 2: Yeah, tell me about what you guys did. Easton was in town. 00:00:52 Speaker 1: Easton was in town. We went to Jackson Britz. And what I love about going to Jackson Britz is they are so good at hosting and they know me so well that when I offered a help, they know I'm just doing it to be nice. So they always tell me I don't need to, which is the right response. We talk about that all the time. I'm happy to venmo you, but other than that, like, I'm not gonna help. And we did bring things. My mom made her sweet potatoes, which are so fantastic and when you first look at them, you go, no. 00:01:24 Speaker 3: You have to sell people on them. 00:01:25 Speaker 1: You have to sell people on them. 00:01:27 Speaker 3: You did, yeah, I was a sweet potato salesman that night. 00:01:29 Speaker 1: Yes, And can I tell you I almost got annoyed that you did that because then they were devoured and I like third sports and. 00:01:37 Speaker 2: Fifths yeah, and leftovers. 00:01:39 Speaker 1: Yeah, and leftovers. 00:01:40 Speaker 3: We made her make more and we did go on too. 00:01:44 Speaker 1: Oh we smashed the pantas and. 00:01:47 Speaker 2: You guys have leftovers? Did you take home food or we did? 00:01:51 Speaker 1: Okay, I's too proud to like, where's my fucking leftovers? 00:01:55 Speaker 4: What does Brittin do? What is Brittany too that that pop pie or not? 00:01:58 Speaker 1: Brittain no friend Janet? What she does after Thanksgiving dinner? She learned this from her mom. Is she makes she she makes pop pies Thanksgiving pop pies, and she puts literally every single thing that you ate that into one pop pie. 00:02:17 Speaker 2: Yeah, so into like a pie cross correct. 00:02:20 Speaker 1: And then she and she sends them home. She sends them home with you and then you take it home and babe, you take it home and bake it on four fifty. 00:02:27 Speaker 4: And now I get where people look at the sweet potatoes and they're like yeah, because I looked at that the same way, and. 00:02:34 Speaker 1: I was like, this is sketch, Janet, I don't know about this. 00:02:36 Speaker 2: Was it good that pop pie was and it doesn't like dry out all the already cooked food? No, oh my god, that sounds sod at all. It was so good genius, Janet. 00:02:50 Speaker 1: Yes, it is genius. And it was just like so full of love and it was cute. And Ocean's personality is just the cutest thing you'll ever see in your whole life. I'm I wish that everyone could experience my child. 00:03:03 Speaker 2: I'm kind of yeah, I'm kind of miserable she didn't. I was like looking forward to seeing Ocean pretty much all day and then I heard the door open. We're at the office, obviously, and Ocean is home with Gigi. But I heard the door of the office open, and like my heart jumped and I stood up and I went out in the hallway and she wasn't there. 00:03:21 Speaker 1: So she was litired today. 00:03:23 Speaker 2: She was took a little nap. 00:03:24 Speaker 1: Yeah, she took a little nap. I got home and my mom was sitting there, you know, dicking around the house being iconic as usual, and Ocean was on the couch sucking her fingers, which means sleep time for a nap. And then she heard the fridge opening, started pointing out it saying buba, oh buba, and I said, oh, she sleep baby, so I said, you can stay home. But the other thing is so we my mom made the sweet potatoes for Jackson Britney's house. It looks like Christmas threw up in the couchy house. Okay, okay. The cabinets have red bows as if the cabinets are present. Two trees that are decked to the freaking nines, little Nativity s. She's just can I tell you HGTV where you at? Give Britney cart right a show already, because she is the ultimate like homemaker. I love that cooked the entire thing. Janet helped with sides, cooked the entire Thanksgiving meal on her own. We brought the sweet potatoes and also pies, but store bought pies yum. And I was really grateful because as we were leaving, the pies were still there. But by the time I gathered all the things to leave, some of the boys had smoked a giant blunt and each of them had their own pie. So they were eating and I was like, I'm so glad I didn't go to waste. Happy Thanksgiving. 00:04:51 Speaker 4: Good night I know when I was leaving to Jack's just like, you have to take some food, take some food. 00:04:56 Speaker 3: I was like, dude, I'm good. I was like, I'm full. 00:04:58 Speaker 4: He goes, you're gonna go home smoke and you're gonna need some food. He literally got me to go and he goes, you're gonna thank me and Jack's I thank you. 00:05:07 Speaker 2: I was just gonna say, did you think yes? 00:05:09 Speaker 4: Yes, you know, going over to that house it felt like home, like it did like it's it felt it felt like we've done it for years. 00:05:16 Speaker 3: Almost, and everybody I met was on I loved too. 00:05:20 Speaker 2: And there were babies the ocean cruise. 00:05:23 Speaker 1: Is that it or those were the only two babies? Actually, No, our friend Courtney Berman has a newborn. She's two months old. She came. 00:05:31 Speaker 2: So is she not? Though Courtney posted this on her story and I was like, that's so accurate, a copy and paste of Courtney's husband. No, is she not? She is? 00:05:43 Speaker 1: Okay, yes, But then Courtney made a face and I was like, oh my gosh, that's Lenin. Like you and your baby are identical. That's such a fun age because they change, which is the blink of an eye, Like yeah, mom, dad, mom. You know, you know Phoebe on Friends, how she's blinking over and over again. She thinks she's changing the channel. But it was like Mom, Dad, Dad, it's the craziest shit ever. But and you know, thankfully ocean people can say otherwise, but you blink and you just see burning him. 00:06:15 Speaker 2: You know, I always can tell you, Yes, I see her, I see you easton a lot in ocean, I see you a lot, especially when I see pictures of you two as kids. 00:06:23 Speaker 4: Yeah, if I were to post a side by side, even with me and her, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference who. 00:06:30 Speaker 1: And I'm telling you in person? Yeah, yes, in person she is the spitting image of just. 00:06:37 Speaker 2: Like Burningham or Hutton. 00:06:39 Speaker 1: I can't even tell which. Well. 00:06:41 Speaker 2: I can see your dad too, right, yes. 00:06:48 Speaker 1: Also on the note of Thanksgiving, you decided to have yours on Friday? Was that fucking weird? 00:06:57 Speaker 2: Because it was weird only because because it wasn't even that weird, But it was like, you know, Thanksgiving, you're on social media and everybody's like posting everything, so it felt a little like, oh, like kind of missing out. But I cooked everything, So then I was like also grateful because then I could spend Thursday prepping, and then Friday it was just like low key I made. 00:07:22 Speaker 3: That would be my favorite. Yeah, football and prepping, Yes, No one coming over. 00:07:26 Speaker 1: Yes. 00:07:26 Speaker 2: And Kyle and his dad Yeah, and his mom came in on Friday, which is why we celebrated. And I made espresso martinis and we just like drank and I could. 00:07:34 Speaker 1: It was nice and it actually ended up being really nice, and it was intimate. 00:07:38 Speaker 2: It was intimate. 00:07:38 Speaker 1: It was just us four and March and March yeah, obviously the dog. Yeah. 00:07:43 Speaker 2: And then we went to the beach on Saturday and we went and saw Christmas lights yesterday. It was a lot of fun. I loved it. I loved Where did. 00:07:50 Speaker 3: You go and see Christmas. 00:07:51 Speaker 2: Lights at Holiday something? It wasn't Holiday Road, which is in Calabasas. I want to go there. This was over or West Covina. Okay, it was closer. It was like thirty minutes from Glendale where I live. It was cute. It's not Holiday Road, which is in Calabasas. 00:08:08 Speaker 3: Fun. 00:08:08 Speaker 2: Fact, that was my very first job when I got to Los Angeles, and I'm not kidding. 00:08:12 Speaker 1: It was in Calabasas. 00:08:13 Speaker 2: No, it was on Holiday Road. As a PA for like a month, No, during Christmas time. It was November. It was like no October because they opened like November tenth or something, and it was like I didn't have a job, and it houses. It's like a drive through, like insane Christmas lights and all that good tickets. Yeah, it's thirty five bucks a person, which I should it's pricey, but it's like a wonderland. And I was just like I saw it and I was like, oh, this would be fun. It's like a wonderland and it was my first time. 00:08:44 Speaker 1: I I should rent like a party bus and car seats and take my friends with their kids. 00:08:49 Speaker 2: It's stunning. It's like really stunning weeks. But yeah, yeah I wouldn't. 00:08:52 Speaker 1: The one I went to was cute, but well good, I'm glad that you had a good weekend. 00:08:57 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:08:57 Speaker 1: I was nervous, nervous call you yesterday. So Jessica again is my entire brain. 00:09:04 Speaker 3: I was gonna apologize for Saturday. 00:09:05 Speaker 2: You'll do even. 00:09:06 Speaker 1: And I reached out to jess saying like, Hi, can you switch my little brother's ticket because I don't know how to do that, and you were like, I'm at the beach. I'm having so fun and I was like, Okay, well, I actually need something from you, and if you can't do it, like, I'm kind of fucked because I only have until seven in order for my points to not just be a waste. 00:09:26 Speaker 2: Oh that's hilarious. I didn't even know that. 00:09:29 Speaker 1: Oh I didn't tell you that. 00:09:30 Speaker 2: No, I wish you told me that. Easton figured it out, by the way. 00:09:32 Speaker 1: Did okay good. I'm so glad because I really hate bothering you during your time. 00:09:37 Speaker 4: And I didn't know if it was because it wasn't working for the first couple of times. I didn't know if it was because you used a different email right, and. 00:09:43 Speaker 2: That was the app wasn't working. Also, la la, I literally tell you all the time. I'm like, call or text me if you need me. 00:09:50 Speaker 1: I also tell people that I don't mean it, but. 00:09:54 Speaker 2: I mean it. 00:09:55 Speaker 3: I'm so bad replying to anything. 00:09:57 Speaker 2: If I would have found out, if you would have been like, yeah, I wanted to. I wanted to ask for your help, but I didn't call her text you, I would be annoyed. So I'm really glad you did. 00:10:04 Speaker 1: Okay, so much both experience, but I used to figure it out. 00:10:08 Speaker 3: Yeah, look at me go I changed the flight thirty years old. 00:10:11 Speaker 1: When they say reach out if you need anything, that's just being polite and. 00:10:15 Speaker 4: I'm not gonaive like when she was like, I don't have my laptop, Like Lauren and Lisa are like, well, let's change that. 00:10:21 Speaker 3: We have to So now I'm freaking out. God, we have until. 00:10:24 Speaker 1: Seven watching the clock tick. I'm like, these points are wasted. Motherfucker is going. 00:10:29 Speaker 2: No, you guys figured it out because the Delta it was Southwest or Delta. 00:10:32 Speaker 3: Yeah, well changed it. 00:10:34 Speaker 2: I know this is riveting you guys. 00:10:36 Speaker 3: Flights thirty years old, I can. 00:10:40 Speaker 1: Well thirty two, I still can't do it. But that's what I love about this podcast. Yeah, I was thinking about it the other day. I was like, you know what to give them? 00:10:49 Speaker 3: La? 00:10:49 Speaker 1: La podcast is like so fun And if someone said, like, what is your podcast about? I would have to tell them nothing. 00:10:58 Speaker 3: Seinfelt is the podcast about nothing. 00:11:00 Speaker 1: It is the Seinfeld of podcasts. And I pride myself on that, okay, because we could be talking about hot athletes, or we could be talking about the actual game, or we can be talking about how I'm bad at doing shit, or we're going heavy in on what we believe in and God and all of these like it is the podcast about absolutely fucking nothing. Pick a topic, we'll talk about it. 00:11:23 Speaker 2: But at the same time everything, it's just what it is though it is it's everything, And that's why people are dming saying, oh my god, I love it. They love eastern On, they love they love when you talk and you guys talk because it's like you say nothing. It is about everything, and every time you speak or you speak Eastern there's always something in it, whether or not you're talking about when you were a little family or like you're talking about the year you've had. There's always something that people are able to take away. 00:11:51 Speaker 1: Right, Like I take away so much in Seinfeld. It always comes full circle. 00:11:56 Speaker 3: Right. 00:11:56 Speaker 1: So I freaking love this podcast. I love both of you. I love that we go on tangents. I love that it's like lighthearted and fun. 00:12:05 Speaker 3: Thank you for taking care of me my family. 00:12:10 Speaker 2: I agree with you. I love it's I have so much fun. I also was just telling Easton before we got on, I'm like, oh yeah, I always forget. I usually forget when we're recording because it just feels like we're sitting around a table chatting. 00:12:21 Speaker 1: I mean, you were a shit. We've gotten a fifty five minute tangents, right, and I really want to touch on which now I feel like people have come to the party. It's been I believe a week since the Balenciaga campaign came out. I spoke out about it, and I was getting so many dms. And I'm not on TikTok, but Heather McDonald apparently she's on TikTok. You're on TikTok. She was like, no, you were like the hero on TikTok because you were really the only their words, not mine. So I'll put it in quotes celebrity that spoke out. Which Number one I felt proud. Number two I felt a bit different. Feeded And here's why my platform is not huge? Is it? Is it big? Can it make a little bit of a splash? Absolutely? I think everybody who decides to speak out is making a splash. Am I Kim Kardashian with three hundred million followers. No, So for me to be as distant from the brand as I am and see something that is just to me, it was horrifying, scary. It was right in our faces. And I think Balenciaga and many other brands are so used to us being sheeple, which is sheep. This was like here, it is in your face if you don't see it now, like we are sheep agreed. It was so blatant and terrifying, And you know, I am a very I feel like there's levels to Hollywood. I'm on the reality end, which for a long time was not respected. Who knows if it is now it seems like everybody in their dog has a reality TV show. I'm grateful, but there are tears. Right So, I'm a part of Hollywood in some way, and I've always loved being a part of it because I feel like when shit gets real and things need to be done, I watch my community and people who aren't in this community really step up to the plate to make a difference. We witnessed it with George Floyd. We were like, we're fucking done. You know, we stepped up. We were out in these streets protesting. I saw it with you know, stop Asian hate. I see it with everything, with everything I go. My community in Hollywood doesn't fuck around. And then Baluncioga happens and it is fucking crickets. 00:14:52 Speaker 4: Yeah, Well, I'm speechless on what to say, just because of they have kids, how are you not doing it or them in their future? 00:15:01 Speaker 3: In my opinion's disgusting. 00:15:05 Speaker 1: This world is getting so fucking dark, and I just want to encourage people that listen to this podcast and follow me, like, please stay in the light, like find it however you can, because and. 00:15:23 Speaker 4: Even I don't care if you have three hundred followers post no posting your voice being. 00:15:27 Speaker 3: Something, it doesn't mean anything. Just talking is spreading. No, I know it means, so keep talking about it. It's disgusting. 00:15:36 Speaker 4: I mean even Kim Kardashian's tweet to me so pointless and stupid. 00:15:41 Speaker 1: So stupid. 00:15:42 Speaker 4: Yeah, it's almost to the point where on Instagram or wherever it was. 00:15:46 Speaker 1: And I'm talking, I'm talking to Blunciaga to see if they know the seriousness the damage is done. And it's like it wasn't just little kids in like poor tasting sets, right, it was so layton. And also here's a document like they were saying to us, we encourage exploiting children in a sexual way. 00:16:07 Speaker 3: Well they've been doing this. I mean they've been doing it for years. 00:16:10 Speaker 1: Anybody, You're right, it's they. 00:16:13 Speaker 3: Were seeing how stupid we are with this one. 00:16:16 Speaker 2: I think yes, and I'm not calling anyone stupid, but people who maybe don't work in a certain industry might think, oh, you know, Balenciaga said, We're gonna hold whoever did this accountable, But we can't be more clear on the fact that Balenciaga knew exactly the amount of people that have to sign off on any campaign. Now this is an online campaign. I'm talking something as simple as like a press release that is a sentence long. The amount of people that have to sign off on that is beyond words. So think about photo shoots and actors and and set deck and it's insane. The amount of people have to sign off Like Balenciaga or any fashion any brand for that for that matter, is not going to go go ahead, production company, do whatever you will with thee. 00:17:10 Speaker 1: Even from what I've. 00:17:11 Speaker 4: Heard, the person in charge of that shoot was also in charge of other shoots and it was like a Louis Vuitton or a Tom Ford. 00:17:19 Speaker 3: Yeah, look it up. I saw it. 00:17:21 Speaker 4: And the girl said in that shoot that she was working on set. The girl was so involved about where placing was and things. So for them to say it slipped is bullshit because that girl that was in charge of it. Everybody has set on different sets, no matter if it's Balenciaga. 00:17:41 Speaker 3: What she was very intrigued on where things were set. So this was fucking. 00:17:44 Speaker 2: Strategic, very and signed off by many, many, many people. 00:17:50 Speaker 1: And if you think this was an overnight campaign, this was spoken about for months upon months. What are we doing for the twenty two to holiday? Fucking whatever they want to call it. I'm not in the fashion world, but I've seen the Devilwares product, all right. I've seen the books that had to go from so and so to so and so that they plan that Miranda Priestley gets it. She goes through with a fine tooth comb. I don't like the belt buckle on this. We're reshooting everything, all right, So don't hustle us, motherfuckers. We're smart. You're not gonna do this anymore. And I don't agree with cancel culture, right. I think there's many things where it's like that was stupid and we have to create a teachable moment or else we're not going to get better. Right. This was so I have fire in my chest because it's like, these are fucking children. There were too many items in it, the amount of time that you spent to exploit these young little kids. As a mother, I'm disgusted, I'm offended, and you need to be fucking canceled. Your mind is in the gutter, and I'll be damned if I raise a child in this fucking world. And if this is what Hollywood is a community that I have wanted to be a part of since I was a little kid, if this is what it's like, I don't fucking want it. I'll collect my pennies and stay the fuck away from me. 00:19:16 Speaker 2: Yeah. 00:19:17 Speaker 1: And by the way, I'm not saying that all of Hollywood is like that, because I do believe that there are still people who are out here. They love their craft, and I'm grateful. But at the same time, it's like we it's very simple. We gotta stay in the light. There's so much darkness happening that it's like, just stay in the positive light. And when you see something that is not right, you need to trust that they shoved it in our faces. And we're not going to be fucking quiet, and we're not going to listen to you when you say we are. We have a twenty five million dollar lawsuit now against who against your own selves, who are you trying to convince we see you. 00:19:57 Speaker 2: Yep, it's there. They're going to try and throw anyone under the bus to save their name, even though it was them, and it was them, and it was the production company and it was it was so many people involved. 00:20:09 Speaker 1: It was everybody. You're filthy, dirty fox, and your brand needs to go away. There's no recovering, there's no I'm sorry, Okay, this is you are mentally disgusting and I don't know what happened to you when you were young and your upbringing, but like you need to be evaluated because this is not normal. By the way, don't buy Balenciaga. It's expensive as fuck. You don't need it. They're dirty, don't by ugly. Cancel them. It's ugly. And just so you know, if I see anybody that is wearing it, I'm immediately judging you and thinking that you're filthy. And if you are someone in my friend group and you continue to wear buy their shit, it's a deal breaker for you. We were not morally in alignment. So there's that speaking of whying about the when I heard that, because like there's a lot of lying in Hollywood as well, and I remember lying for the first time. You remember, Actually, I remember my first lie ever. Hold stop, yeah, I made a slushie. 00:21:18 Speaker 3: Wait, are you talking about your first lie ever? Like back, well, the. 00:21:21 Speaker 1: First lie I ever remember? Yes, okay, no, my first lie ever of my whole life. I remember it. 00:21:30 Speaker 2: Okay. 00:21:31 Speaker 1: Mom had her new couch and I made a slushie and I spilled the slushie on the cushion and I was ripping out, so naturally I flipped the cushions. Okay, I don't clean it up. I flipped the cushion. And I'm young, like you must have been, maybe like four. 00:21:50 Speaker 3: Just wait. 00:21:52 Speaker 1: So my mom one day is flipping cushions and she notices a giant red stain. Okay, that's been there for quite a while now, and so she asks who spilled on the couch. And I sensed that she would be upset. I wish he was here for this, and we'll talk about it again when she's here. And I said, do you want to know who really did it? Do you want to know? And I said Easton? 00:22:28 Speaker 2: He was. 00:22:30 Speaker 1: With his little curly hair just getting Wait, I lied. I just lied again, No, because I remember my statement. So I said to my mom Easton did it right, And I was like, very convincing, like Easton did it and so his little curly hair, and he was like, I didn't do it, Mom, I didn't do it. And she's like, you, Lauren said that you spilled, And so then she starts interrogating me. Okay, because like in all twenty twenty episodes, you see, the liar always has a giveaway, always does something where I was like, eh, I don't know about this. I don't think Eastern spilled. 00:23:12 Speaker 3: I think it was you. 00:23:14 Speaker 1: So you want to know who really spelled? Mom? Do you want me to tell you the truth? And for a split second I wanted to be so convincing and say Easton again, but I just felt so bad that I said it was me. And I was grounded for so long because because I lied. 00:23:29 Speaker 2: But then you told the truth. 00:23:31 Speaker 1: I know, but I originally lied. 00:23:35 Speaker 2: Did he Easton get in trouble at all? 00:23:37 Speaker 1: Yes? And he kept saying profusely that he didn't do it, and so my mom came back. 00:23:42 Speaker 2: To the accuser, Oh my god, and you got in trouble. 00:23:48 Speaker 1: Because I lied, And my mom said, if you would not have lied, I would not have been upset. Lies she lies, she would have been. 00:23:57 Speaker 3: I just remember saying bad words with tabasco. 00:24:00 Speaker 2: Wait, like you got hot sauce if you said a word. But what was it? You don't remember that soap in your mouth? 00:24:06 Speaker 1: My mom maybe watching movies and that happened to someone else, and you know I did it? No, im not remember that mom. 00:24:13 Speaker 4: Mom was there on what she washed my mouth out? And never was so young. We were in the side back. 00:24:19 Speaker 2: Was it a bar? 00:24:19 Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure it was my mouth washed out? 00:24:21 Speaker 2: They did it once and then it was in. 00:24:23 Speaker 4: The bathroom across in the upstairs and they helped me. 00:24:26 Speaker 3: I was so small and just rubbed my mouth. 00:24:28 Speaker 2: What did you say? 00:24:29 Speaker 1: I don't remember that at all. 00:24:31 Speaker 3: Did you say, I can't even remember. I just remember that. Do you think it was. 00:24:34 Speaker 2: Something like fuck or do you think it was like hate? 00:24:37 Speaker 1: Probably? 00:24:39 Speaker 2: I don't know. 00:24:40 Speaker 1: Your parents. Was their mouths out anything short of the word fuck? 00:24:44 Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to put her on speaker. 00:24:47 Speaker 3: She probably won't answer. She doesn't even have her phone out. 00:24:49 Speaker 2: Yeh, mouthing. I that was the thing for like our generation is mouth washed out. So my parents said it once and then I said I was going to call the cops and they didn't. 00:24:57 Speaker 1: I actually mom about the place we got her speaker. You're on the podcast, okay, we need Easton is alleging that when he was a young kid, he said a bad word and he remembers you slash or dad rinsing his mouth out with soap or putting hot sauce in it. 00:25:18 Speaker 3: Do you it was? I remember soap? 00:25:21 Speaker 1: Did this happen? You know what? 00:25:24 Speaker 3: I don't recall it at all. I remember. I'll never forget I was in the. 00:25:31 Speaker 2: Did you think you're dad? 00:25:32 Speaker 3: Let's call him? 00:25:36 Speaker 1: That is so dark? All right? I love you, I love you. 00:25:43 Speaker 3: I'll never forget. 00:25:44 Speaker 1: That was so fucked up. 00:25:47 Speaker 2: Only Easton could make that joke. Or you are at least that's true. 00:25:50 Speaker 1: All right? Well, since gone, I'm gonna have to like, yeah, I remember, do. 00:25:56 Speaker 2: You think it was? Do you think your dad would do something like? Do you think because my mom and dad? 00:26:01 Speaker 3: Yeah? But here's the other thing. 00:26:05 Speaker 2: Well that he chopped your hand off. 00:26:07 Speaker 1: Not even a little bit. My dad covered for him. 00:26:10 Speaker 3: Yeah see, and that's why. 00:26:13 Speaker 1: My dad covered for me when I got my drinking. 00:26:14 Speaker 3: I have a little perier. 00:26:15 Speaker 2: Please wait, hold on pause. I need to know what you stole and I need to know about this. 00:26:21 Speaker 1: Stole a pair of women's earrings a girlfriend, which is so weird. 00:26:32 Speaker 2: Did you have your ears fierce at least? 00:26:34 Speaker 3: Okay, so that's why I think they. 00:26:36 Speaker 2: Know Where'd you steal them from? 00:26:38 Speaker 4: Macy's at the Mall may Fashion Place fashion play small? 00:26:45 Speaker 2: Did security find you? 00:26:47 Speaker 3: They got me quick and I thought about running, but then. 00:26:50 Speaker 2: I was like, you know what, and Kent was with you. 00:26:56 Speaker 3: I got caught. Luckily I was a miner. Okay, so I got caught. I had to sit in a room and then cops came. 00:27:06 Speaker 4: They gave me my ticket, and then they gave me a map of them all and an outline of where I was not allowed. 00:27:15 Speaker 2: And your dad came and like me cover, so I could. 00:27:19 Speaker 4: I was seventeen, so luckily I was not eighteen. But he couldn't come and get me. But I was a minor, so they he had to. Luckily I could. They were like if you can call him, and so I called him and like the cop was like, I will take it from here. So then he was like he probably told my dad everything. Yeah, and then he was like, hey, your dad is just releasing you. You're fine, and then grounded No, no, no. 00:27:44 Speaker 1: Me and my mom's in my room one night and we heard my dad talking to Easton in his room whispering. No he was not, Yeah, yeah he was spring. 00:27:52 Speaker 4: He did yell at me though, when no one was home he did, oh yeah. And then he was helping me go through some stuff because the whispering. He was like, hey, we got take care of this. 00:28:01 Speaker 2: And then did he ever tell your mom? 00:28:03 Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I did tell my mom because then Easton had to appear in court. Really, someone had to take him. 00:28:08 Speaker 3: Yeah, I was underage. 00:28:10 Speaker 1: Dad got to work. 00:28:11 Speaker 2: That is like wild for if they if someone stolen my town, they would just be like take the item back and be like get the fuck out of here. 00:28:18 Speaker 1: They wouldn't call there's a Utah baby. 00:28:21 Speaker 3: Yeah. And so also it depends on what you still. 00:28:28 Speaker 4: If you're still over one hundred dollars worth too, it's that if you're still over one hundred dollars worth the felony, Yeah, I'm pretty sure that I think that was forty bucks. 00:28:38 Speaker 3: No, I will know they think they. 00:28:40 Speaker 2: Were like were they just like cubic Yeah, yeah, like. 00:28:43 Speaker 3: They were nicer earrings. 00:28:45 Speaker 4: I wasn't gonna steal yeah, job, they'll get away with them such a clown, so that happened had appear in court. But yeah, yeah, but that's where I'm saying, like he would cover for me, so I think I'm not kidding you. I remember saying something and he washed my mouth out because he was like, you're not saying that again in front of anyone. I probably said because Walter Hogan shot it at Walter Walter. I'd always go to his house and his he had a older brother who was just crazy and would have all the hot Yeah, but yeah, him and his buddies would come over and like throw Walter in me around, but they would curse and be like fuck you. 00:29:25 Speaker 3: So we kind of like we just took. 00:29:27 Speaker 2: Someone police, so like, yeah, it was fun. 00:29:32 Speaker 4: They throw us on bean bags and stuff, but they were the language we thought we could now use. 00:29:36 Speaker 3: So I think that's maybe. 00:29:38 Speaker 2: And he washed your mouth out with soap. Did you ever get spanked? 00:29:41 Speaker 1: I don't remember. 00:29:42 Speaker 2: It was such a generation. Wait before we forget, I need to know you got a drinking ticket and your dad covered for you. Yeah, Kent sounds like a cool fucking dude. 00:29:51 Speaker 1: I got a drink? 00:29:52 Speaker 3: Which one was this? 00:29:53 Speaker 2: Tell us about it? 00:29:53 Speaker 3: How many have you. 00:29:54 Speaker 1: Had how many one? 00:29:57 Speaker 3: What do you mean? 00:29:58 Speaker 2: And what's a drinking ticket? I've literally I never heard of that. 00:30:01 Speaker 1: I was literally one month shy of one of twenty one and there was this crazy bitch at this party and we had been drinking all day and she comes to the house and she was definitely on something because she kept telling me she was gonna curb me, okay, and I was like, I don't like the sound of that. 00:30:26 Speaker 2: And then she. 00:30:29 Speaker 1: Comes to attack me, all right, like she was on one, y'all. Like, and I kept telling people at the party like I don't know why no one's doing anything, but like, this girl is really crazy. She's losing her mind. 00:30:41 Speaker 3: Okay. Was it just liquor or did she have other things? 00:30:44 Speaker 1: I don't know. I was very naive. I'm still very naive to drugs. I was drinking and we were not acting the same. But I've also had moments of like not acting great on alcohol, so it could have just been alcohol, okay. But she is outside and I go to the stairs. There's like two stairs out of the front door, and she sees me and starts hauling ass towards me. And what calling ass towards me? What people don't know about me is my kicks are deadly. 00:31:15 Speaker 3: Okay. 00:31:16 Speaker 1: I don't know how they got that way, but like I could fuck you up with my kick, all right. So she comes toward me and I put my knee towards my chest and I give her a little. 00:31:28 Speaker 3: Just a little sternum chop. 00:31:29 Speaker 1: Yep, she goes fucking flying. 00:31:33 Speaker 2: Are you kidding? 00:31:34 Speaker 1: I slam the door, I lock it. I'm looking out of the big front window, and I see her pick up a rock and she fucking hucks it at you, like trying to break through the goddamn window. So I say, I'm not fit enough. I'm calling the mother fucking please all right, Essentially, I call them, They roll up. She gets arrested because she's going crazy. 00:32:06 Speaker 3: Okay, she was still there. 00:32:07 Speaker 1: She was still there at this point. 00:32:08 Speaker 2: Are people holding her back from you? 00:32:11 Speaker 1: At this point, everyone's crazy. They're going like, what's going on. I was like, I told you that there's a crazy bitch trying to curb me, and now she just threw a rock through your fucking window. That's what's happening. That's what's happening right now. 00:32:23 Speaker 2: Oh my god. 00:32:24 Speaker 1: So I'm almost at the finish line and the cop comes out and he goes, so this girl is also and I'm with it, right, I'm fucking with it. And this girl rats me out. She's been drinking too, so they ask me and if I say no, they're just gonna breathwife me. 00:32:46 Speaker 3: Yeah. 00:32:46 Speaker 1: So I was like, I had a little bit of drink too, So they take her away. Yeah, she gets a drinking ticket. I get a drinking ticket. We both have to go to court. My mom appears with me. She's looking at me. 00:33:00 Speaker 3: Stable both in court, Mom or the girl. 00:33:03 Speaker 1: No the girl, oh, I thought, and they were like, happy birthday to you because we now know you're twenty one. Yes month. 00:33:11 Speaker 3: Shit. 00:33:11 Speaker 1: I didn't have to go to court for like six months. But I told my dad I got a drinking ticket, and shit's gonna come in the mail, so you need to be on it. You cannot Like I was checking them. I called my dad, what you need. No. I did not want my mom to see because she told me the night before this happened. She goes, I'm having a premonition that you get that you get in trouble for drinking, and I don't. I want you to be careful, And I was like, okay, mom. Literally the next night, I got one. 00:33:37 Speaker 2: How much your drinking tickets you have to pay money? 00:33:39 Speaker 3: They're only like one, They're not bad. 00:33:41 Speaker 1: I chose community service because I was kick ascid community would you do? I loved it for it. Well, at that point in time, you could literally do anything, like you didn't have to go to an organization. So I helped my best friend's elderly grandmother clean up her yard. Yeah, but so my dad told me, he goes, you got to call the office and tell him you've moved and changed the address so that you're so it does it doesn't come here, So he went picked it up. 00:34:13 Speaker 2: Yeah, savage Kent does a bad act. 00:34:16 Speaker 3: No, I should have put my address somewhere else. I wasn't thinking I was. 00:34:20 Speaker 2: Your mom still found out obviously, well she I eventually told her. 00:34:23 Speaker 1: Did you get rounded anything from her? No? I didn't get grounded really, because it was like, you got a drinking ticket when you were twenty and now you're twenty one, So like, what am I supposed to do about it? 00:34:32 Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's not like you did anything except protect yourself. 00:34:36 Speaker 1: That big went flying after my karate kick. But then she tried to break the goddamn not doing anything. 00:34:43 Speaker 2: Were you sitting down when she came at you? And that's how you were standing? Can we is the video we're gonna post when this episode comes out? You kicking? Because we need a video or photo and people need to see. 00:34:55 Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll film it. 00:34:56 Speaker 2: Okay, that's the one that'll be posted. 00:34:59 Speaker 1: I'm not proud of my actions, but I did what I needed to do. I'm so surprising myself because I had just learned what curbing met and she kept threatening to do that to me, and I was like, where am I? No one's helping me? 00:35:09 Speaker 3: So curbing was like in, Yeah it was that. 00:35:13 Speaker 1: I think there was a movie that came out with it, and yeah, it was very like iconic, right it was? 00:35:19 Speaker 2: Now I forgot you guys know what I'm talking about. But really quick, it just flashed the amount of d ms we got Easton about. Oh my god, I can't believe you guys don't know what Glizzy means. Glizzy it's one hundred percent of real thing. Not really, yes, not only that. 00:35:34 Speaker 3: Did somebody give us where it came from? 00:35:36 Speaker 2: I hope yes, apparently it came from New York? And look at this? 00:35:40 Speaker 3: What did I say look at this. 00:35:42 Speaker 2: No it's not. 00:35:44 Speaker 3: Is it an actual like is a Glizzy? 00:35:46 Speaker 4: And actual like hot dog with special things on it, like a Chicago dog, but it's called a Glizzy. 00:35:53 Speaker 2: Somebody sent me a photo of from a of socks with hot dogs on them that say like Glizzytown or something. Now I can't find it, but you know who you are if you send it to me. I can't find them anymore, but I'll have a pair on soon. They said. Yeah, so Easton apologies. I'm going to sit here and apologize because I thought for sure you made it up. 00:36:17 Speaker 1: They sure did, and I thought I was so with the times and like the lingo that people use, right, I have no idea like no me either. There's so much? Is it new or is it old Glizzy? 00:36:31 Speaker 4: No, Honestly, I feel like it's I want to say it's new, but it might be like within like a couple of years. Like honestly, I think I saw it on TikTok first, so I want to say down, yeah, it might have been like twenty twenty, twenty twenty one. 00:36:46 Speaker 2: Yeah, every I've got. We got so many dms that were like, yes, how do you guys not know what a Glizzy is like, I. 00:36:52 Speaker 1: Want to know how you do know what a glizzy is because that's not even close to the word hot dog. I know. I think they said it came from New York. 00:36:58 Speaker 3: Well there you go. 00:36:58 Speaker 1: You're right, you said it came from the East Coast. 00:37:02 Speaker 3: I said New York first, Yeah, I did know you were spot on. 00:37:05 Speaker 4: But yeah, it's just like know the dog vendors, there's hundreds of them, Yeah, so like they know how people just film tiktoks like that was the one thing of like that got it huge. It was like, let me get the Glizzy and you like sticks the hot dog and puts it in and then that's. 00:37:19 Speaker 3: How that went. 00:37:20 Speaker 1: At the elting John concert that I went to, they had so many Glizzy stands right outside and I fucking love street meet. There was a point in time when I first moved to LA where I was obsessed with edibles. Me and my best friend Danielle who now we're both moms. 00:37:36 Speaker 2: Who we'd like to have on the podcast. 00:37:38 Speaker 1: Yeah about her birthing experience, and we would go to the craziest Okay, So in LA they have really cool nightclubs. There's a place called Davy Wayns. I don't know if it's still pop in or if it exists anymore, but you would like go through a vending machine. And that was the front door, which also, by the way, I blame every time that I've been wasted and try to climb into a fridge on Davy Wayne's because I'm like, y'all have taught me that this might be a dorm. Okay to like some cools, So I've definitely open fridges and been like come in. Yes, I was under the influence during all those times, but we would pop our little edibles. We were so into edibles and just like having all the fun in the world before we turned on me and then made me feel like everyone was gonna murder me and shoes. But the best part was walking out at two am and just like all this street meat that I would go insane on. I'd get two two hot dogs too, glizzies bitch wrapped in bacon. Okay, just so stoned, so wasted twenty five, which is the tight body of just banging the world's mine for the fucking taking. 00:38:53 Speaker 2: All right, It's like that was the dream. 00:38:58 Speaker 1: And then I'd go back to my little shitty Olympic apartment and I was like, you know what, Yeah, oh, I hated that you did. 00:39:06 Speaker 2: It your first apartment here. It was your first official La apartment that you lived in like the town of La. Yes, and we've passed it before and I think it's cute. 00:39:17 Speaker 1: Well, then you live there. 00:39:19 Speaker 3: I don't know if I could live there. Yeah, you're right, I just for like a week. 00:39:22 Speaker 2: It was in a good area. 00:39:24 Speaker 1: No, it was in a fine area. Yeah, Like you could literally like turn around in the shower. I tried everything to make it feel like home. And I think, you know, once you're on the edibles and you're like, I don't even know where I am. 00:39:36 Speaker 4: Too. 00:39:37 Speaker 1: Guzzy vodka awesome, you know, living them. 00:39:42 Speaker 2: Buzzy street me. I was always pizza. You could not find me with a hot dog, but pizza Dundale. 00:39:48 Speaker 1: They had pizza outside the club. I probably would have hit that, but it was only street me. 00:39:53 Speaker 3: No one's just got a brick oven, just walking around. 00:39:55 Speaker 2: Pizza until like four am. 00:39:59 Speaker 3: I don't want to Jessica. I just want to say, you. 00:40:02 Speaker 1: Believe the freaking vending machine door and there it is like call the uber. He's whipping around while you're getting your condiments on your street met and then you go home. It's like genius. 00:40:12 Speaker 2: That's how you live life. 00:40:13 Speaker 1: That's how you live life. And there were literally fifteen of them outside of Elton John And when I tell you they were being mobbed, it was absolutely amazing. 00:40:23 Speaker 2: That's probably a great because they're so glizzies are so inexpensive to pop to buy. That's probably a great business plan. If you have a cart, you have a little heaty up thing, and they were like. 00:40:34 Speaker 1: Thick and juicy taking old dog jes A mobbing out. Now do you remember that? 00:40:43 Speaker 2: That's my favorite fucking video. I'll post it every year on your birthday until you're eighty five years old because it's the funniest shit. If you guys want to know what we're talking about, it's on YouTube. I think it's like the the Nashville video of the tour. But Lalla with her hot dog makes me laugh every time. If I know to be a good one and I need to be in a good mood, I'll look it up at my phone and just watch it. It's so fucking funny. 00:41:06 Speaker 1: No one laughs harder at me going than Brittany Cartwright because because there was a time in Mexico for her engagement where we all went for her party and something happened where Arianna was brought up, and I hadn't told that thing that I had hooked up with her, and so I looked at Brittany, and of course I was sober at the time. I was like one month sober, and they were all hammered, and I said, you can't talk about that, and she goes, why and I go because I went, she died laughing. So now every time I see her, I go, hey, Brittany, she dies. She dies. But I do that in the video. So now instead of this being like cookie munching mouth, it's just about good food. 00:41:55 Speaker 2: It's that's what the sock said Glizzy Guzzler, and the girl I was DM was like, it kind of sounds like a blowjob. 00:42:03 Speaker 1: But she's a blowjob. I wish I were like. 00:42:07 Speaker 2: I was like, I need to get those for Easton. She's like, well, it kind of sounds like a blow job, and I'm. 00:42:10 Speaker 1: Like, okay, it sounds like a blowjob. And if you're given those and he rocks it with his stolen Macy's Women earrings, He's just gonna with his Bravo hollick. Oh did you see a sweatshirt. 00:42:21 Speaker 2: No, it's where did you get that Bravo con? 00:42:23 Speaker 1: I know, yeah, it was mine? And then I walk out and he's got it on and he has a brav Yeah. 00:42:29 Speaker 3: It's so great. 00:42:30 Speaker 1: Sometimes you don't even know by the way you rocking. That is giving me all the life because on the back it says I'd rather be watching Bravo and that is my That's sane. 00:42:37 Speaker 2: Do you have another one or are you guys going to share it? 00:42:39 Speaker 1: We'll share it. 00:42:40 Speaker 2: Yeah, you know which one? I just got brand new for twenty five percent off of that. 00:42:45 Speaker 1: So many people want that whole rock is all new. 00:42:49 Speaker 2: Yeah, we're talking about the brand new hoodies. 00:42:51 Speaker 1: You guys, you can take one. Yeah love turning something so shitty into something so unbelievably iconic. 00:43:37 Speaker 2: Yeah right, that's right. 00:43:39 Speaker 1: We're going into the new year and we all want to be brand new. 00:43:41 Speaker 2: Let's all do better. 00:43:42 Speaker 1: I hope you enjoyed this episode.
