WHITE BIGFOOT SEEN NEAR HANNIBAL MISSOURI BY THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER!

<v Speaker 1>Hey everyone, and welcome to Sasquatch Theory. In this episode,
<v Speaker 1>I will be interviewing Becky, who saw a white sasquatch
<v Speaker 1>while traveling to Hannibal, Missouri. I think it's a very
<v Speaker 1>fascinating encounter because we often hear stories of them getting
<v Speaker 1>caught in the open during the nighttime hours, and of course,
<v Speaker 1>next to roadways. Could you imagine driving on a highway
<v Speaker 1>in a forested area and seeing an upright walking creature
<v Speaker 1>that is not supposed to exist. I haven't seen one
<v Speaker 1>from a road myself, but I am always keeping my
<v Speaker 1>eyes open. I'll often catch glimpses of structures off the
<v Speaker 1>back roads that always lead me to new clues and discoveries.

<v Speaker 1>with Becky. All right, Becky, welcome to Sasquatch Theory and
<v Speaker 1>it's a pleasure finally having you on the show.
<v Speaker 2>Thank you, it's nice to be here. Miguel.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, absolutely. So you mentioned that you had some encounters
<v Speaker 1>that took place in Missouri. Do you run me through those.
<v Speaker 2>Yes, Yes, I did have one encounter in Missouri. This
<v Speaker 2>was actually back in twenty seventeen, April twenty second. This
<v Speaker 2>was in the evening and I was with my husband
<v Speaker 2>and my older daughter, and we were actually going from
<v Speaker 2>Saint Joseph, Missouri on Highway thirty six. We were traveling
<v Speaker 2>across Highway thirty six going back towards Illinois. So we
<v Speaker 2>were going from Saint Joseph, which going toward Illinois would
<v Speaker 2>be east and I was actually driving. We my husband
<v Speaker 2>and I had taken turns driving. We had been in
<v Speaker 2>a softball tournament all day long and it had gotten up,
<v Speaker 2>you know, early that morning to get out there, and
<v Speaker 2>we were headed back to Illinois at the time. That's
<v Speaker 2>where his family lived, and I'm from Texas, so we
<v Speaker 2>were just we were traveling that weekend. But I do
<v Speaker 2>remember that I had told him that, you know, he
<v Speaker 2>told me, pull off when you get to Hannibal, Missouri.
<v Speaker 2>So I told him I would drive for a little while.
<v Speaker 2>So I started driving. And it was in the evening.
<v Speaker 2>So I know that I when I drive, I'm always
<v Speaker 2>checking the time, and I'm checking my surroundings. I know
<v Speaker 2>where I'm at, and I knew that I would get
<v Speaker 2>to Hannibal about eleven o'clock at night, So my sighting
<v Speaker 2>occurred about ten thirty. I would say ten thirty at night,
<v Speaker 2>and I was fully awake, wide awake, and I was
<v Speaker 2>so I was about thirty miles west of Hannibal, Missouri,
<v Speaker 2>and I knew I had about thirty minutes to go,
<v Speaker 2>and just driving along, there was a semi truck in
<v Speaker 2>front of me. I do know, I do remember that,
<v Speaker 2>and there's a median to the left of me, and
<v Speaker 2>all of a sudden, out of the corner of my eye,
<v Speaker 2>I saw to the left of me, standing at the
<v Speaker 2>edge of the median. I saw this white, shaggy, long
<v Speaker 2>shaggy hair creature with standing on two legs. So when
<v Speaker 2>I first saw him, he was just it was like
<v Speaker 2>he was just looking at me, just staring at me,
<v Speaker 2>waiting for me to pass by so he could cross
<v Speaker 2>the road. I I remember there there wasn't anybody coming
<v Speaker 2>to pass me. So if so, if you, I don't
<v Speaker 2>know if you know the area at all, but so
<v Speaker 2>there's two lanes of traffic going one way, and then
<v Speaker 2>there's a median, and then there's two lanes of traffic
<v Speaker 2>going the other way. So there was no one to
<v Speaker 2>the left to me. I was in the far right lane,
<v Speaker 2>and when I saw what I saw, he was standing
<v Speaker 2>at the edge of the median, So no one was
<v Speaker 2>in the lane to the left to me. So I
<v Speaker 2>would say that I was probably maybe ten to twelve
<v Speaker 2>feet away, you know, like full a full car, a
<v Speaker 2>little bit more than a car away from him. And
<v Speaker 2>so I had to take a double take because I
<v Speaker 2>could see this it was about four feet tall. I
<v Speaker 2>could make out the two arms, two legs, stocky build,
<v Speaker 2>very muscular like.
<v Speaker 1>That.
<v Speaker 2>Like I said, the long shaggy hair. I could make out.
<v Speaker 2>The face I couldn't make out. I didn't really have
<v Speaker 2>a chance to make out the the the fingers or
<v Speaker 2>the hands. But the feet were all covered with white
<v Speaker 2>so white hair. Because I could definitely see this was
<v Speaker 2>standing on two legs and the arms were hanging down.
<v Speaker 2>The eyes were like a red glare, just glaring at
<v Speaker 2>me in black nose, and so I took a double
<v Speaker 2>take because I was just shocked. I was completely shocked.
<v Speaker 2>And I remember as soon as I looked back and
<v Speaker 2>took that double take, I remember staying pretty loud in
<v Speaker 2>the car. I was just like, what the heck was that?
<v Speaker 2>And nothing silence. My husband was sound asleep in the backseat.
<v Speaker 2>My daughter was sound asleep in the passenger seat. I
<v Speaker 2>looked over at her to see if she was awake,
<v Speaker 2>and she kind of, you know, turned her head and
<v Speaker 2>I said, did you see that? And she did She's
<v Speaker 2>just like what what?
<v Speaker 1>Mom?
<v Speaker 2>I didn't seen anything, and she just went right back
<v Speaker 2>to sleep. And so for I would say about the
<v Speaker 2>next ten miles that I'm driving down the highway, I
<v Speaker 2>was going over everything in my head, every single thing.
<v Speaker 2>Every I was going over every animal I could think
<v Speaker 2>of that was white because I was trying to rule out,
<v Speaker 2>you know what this was. I was thinking, well, I
<v Speaker 2>know it wasn't a deer. It you know what is white?
<v Speaker 2>Then I'm saying, what is white? Because I after I
<v Speaker 2>went over it's the normal the normal animals. I would say.
<v Speaker 2>At night, I would see deer, coyote, you know, things
<v Speaker 2>that armadillo sometimes things like that on the roadside. But
<v Speaker 2>I could not think of one animal that I had
<v Speaker 2>ever seen in my life that this was. It wasn't.
<v Speaker 2>I was thinking, oh, was it a bear. I was
<v Speaker 2>you know there's white bears. No, it was not a bear.
<v Speaker 2>Was it a goat? Goats are white. No, it wasn't
<v Speaker 2>a goat. It wasn't a mountain lion, it wasn't another
<v Speaker 2>type of wildcat, it was not anything. So for probably
<v Speaker 2>the next ten minutes, like I said, I just kept
<v Speaker 2>going over all these things in my head and none
<v Speaker 2>of them fit the description. And then it's just like
<v Speaker 2>this white bulb came on and I just just something
<v Speaker 2>just hit me and I just thought, Oh my goodness, sasquatch.
<v Speaker 2>That's all I could think of. I mean, I just
<v Speaker 2>it had to be in my mind. There was there
<v Speaker 2>was no other explanation that I had just saw sasquatch.
<v Speaker 2>You know, I would say about four foot my best
<v Speaker 2>guess four foot, maybe five, but not much, you know,
<v Speaker 2>not much taller than that.
<v Speaker 1>And how much prior knowledge knowledge did you have of
<v Speaker 1>bigfoot before your encounter?
<v Speaker 2>Before my encounter, I wouldn't say. I didn't have very
<v Speaker 2>very much knowledge of Bigfoot other than I have a brother, Mike,
<v Speaker 2>who is just very much into Bigfoot, and I would
<v Speaker 2>always say, probably maybe he's a little bit obsessed. I
<v Speaker 2>don't know, I mean, he just so. He would call
<v Speaker 2>or he text me every once in a while. And
<v Speaker 2>at that time, the show Finding Bigfoot was pretty popular,
<v Speaker 2>and we both work pretty stressful jobs, so just to
<v Speaker 2>get a little stress relief, sometimes at night, I would
<v Speaker 2>watch it. If he would say, oh, you know, I'm
<v Speaker 2>watching such and such Finding Bigfoot, and so I turn
<v Speaker 2>it on just to see what he was watching. And
<v Speaker 2>I would think, this is so it's just so dumb,
<v Speaker 2>it's just fake. And but you know, it was good
<v Speaker 2>stress relief at the time. But I didn't do any
<v Speaker 2>studying up on it or I really didn't do any
<v Speaker 2>research at that time. I didn't any reading. Although after
<v Speaker 2>I had my sighting that night, I I could not sleep,
<v Speaker 2>So I was looking up all kinds of things to
<v Speaker 2>read about, and you know, found other other descriptions just
<v Speaker 2>you know, I just looked up a lot of different
<v Speaker 2>things just to see because I thought, I'm going to
<v Speaker 2>have to tell my brother about this, because you know,
<v Speaker 2>we had these conversations. He would say, you know a
<v Speaker 2>lot of times, you know that he would just tell me.
<v Speaker 2>I knew that he believed in Bigfoot. I knew that
<v Speaker 2>he had had this fascination since he was younger. And
<v Speaker 2>that's about the extent to my prior knowledge.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and for the people listening that don't know who
<v Speaker 1>Mike is, he's in the group Understanding Bigfoot. They have
<v Speaker 1>a YouTube channel and I have a few videos with
<v Speaker 1>them out in the field. You guys should check it out. Yes,
<v Speaker 1>but I have some questions. I typed up here. So
<v Speaker 1>how close How close were you to Hannibal, Missouri? I was?
<v Speaker 2>I would say about thirty miles My my best guess
<v Speaker 2>would be about thirty miles west of Hannibal, which is
<v Speaker 2>around this town called Honeywell. And then about forty miles
<v Speaker 2>west of Hannibal. There's a town called shell Binas, So
<v Speaker 2>I was my best guess would I was near shell
<v Speaker 2>Bino or Honeywell, because I knew that I would be
<v Speaker 2>pulling off and Hannibal at you know, at eleven PM
<v Speaker 2>at night. And I knew that I had about thirty
<v Speaker 2>miles to go because I always watched the road signs,
<v Speaker 2>so I knew the last road sign, you know, I
<v Speaker 2>had just seen it's at Hannibal thirty miles. And I
<v Speaker 2>do know that there's a you know, I've looked on
<v Speaker 2>the map since then, and there's a Honeywell conservation area
<v Speaker 2>and North Fork of the Salt River passes through there.
<v Speaker 2>I had been through Hannibal, Missouri before a couple of
<v Speaker 2>different times, and I know there's a lot of forest
<v Speaker 2>area over that I could remember seeing that, you know,
<v Speaker 2>in the daylight, but this was at night, so it
<v Speaker 2>was pretty much pitch black. I could couldn't see anything
<v Speaker 2>except for the semi truck in front of me. I
<v Speaker 2>could see that had you know, the tail lights of
<v Speaker 2>the semi truck. But other than that, I mean, when
<v Speaker 2>I caught a glimpse of this bigfoot heat you know it.
<v Speaker 2>It was definitely white. It was, you know, stood out.
<v Speaker 2>That's what's stood out to me. And I was just
<v Speaker 2>an aweeso.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, So when he was at the edge of the highway,
<v Speaker 1>did your headlights hit him and light him up? Is
<v Speaker 1>that what happened?
<v Speaker 2>I I am guessing that's what happened. But I don't know.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, I don't know because I was going straight
<v Speaker 2>and so he's off to the left of me, so
<v Speaker 2>I'm not really sure. You know, it's not like the
<v Speaker 2>headlights were straight at him right, you know, it was
<v Speaker 2>off to the left to me.
<v Speaker 1>So it was enough to see him, though, Yes.
<v Speaker 2>Enough to see him. I'm playing. I mean, I can
<v Speaker 2>see him plain as day. I yes, that I was driving,
<v Speaker 2>and it's a good thing that no one was coming
<v Speaker 2>right beside me because I turned my head to take
<v Speaker 2>a double take and look back at him. It's burt
<v Speaker 2>as long as I could.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, could you see any eyeshine?
<v Speaker 2>I could. I just remember the glare, the tint, the
<v Speaker 2>the glare was like it was just like red. So
<v Speaker 2>I could see some you know, shine around that. I
<v Speaker 2>mean I could. I could make That's what I could
<v Speaker 2>make out because and to me, it wasn't. I didn't
<v Speaker 2>have a feeling of fear at all. Of course I
<v Speaker 2>was in my car, but I just had this feeling
<v Speaker 2>just that, you know, I'm just waiting for you to
<v Speaker 2>go by so I can cross the road. That's that's
<v Speaker 2>that was my experience. That's how I felt. He was
<v Speaker 2>standing there just patiently waiting for me to drive by
<v Speaker 2>so he could cross over.
<v Speaker 1>Did he have the conical shaped head or more of
<v Speaker 1>a round head.
<v Speaker 2>It? It was? Yes, it was more of the round
<v Speaker 2>the round head as far as for what you know,
<v Speaker 2>as much as I could tell with the just the long, white,
<v Speaker 2>shaggy hair coming off, But it was more of a round,
<v Speaker 2>rounder shape head.
<v Speaker 1>Okay, you mentioned that it had long arms. Now, were
<v Speaker 1>they extremely long? Long compared to a human?
<v Speaker 2>Uh? No, I wouldn't say extremely extremely long. I would
<v Speaker 2>say he was pretty proportionate in size. I mean, you know,
<v Speaker 2>like what a bigger human, stocky build would be.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Yeah. Did he look evil to you? Or menacine?
<v Speaker 1>Or did he look pretty pretty chill? I guess that's
<v Speaker 1>the only where I can come from.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, he did not of evil? I say, yeah, he
<v Speaker 2>looked pretty chilled me. Did he did not look evil?
<v Speaker 2>To me. I mean, if if I could have, if
<v Speaker 2>I could have just gotten out right then and there,
<v Speaker 2>I yeah, I would not have. I wouldn't have been afraid.
<v Speaker 1>Now, how big was he? I mean, was he like
<v Speaker 1>a juvenile or was he like eleven pounds?
<v Speaker 2>He must have been a juvenile, because you know, as
<v Speaker 2>far as weight, I don't know what a juvenile would weigh,
<v Speaker 2>but you know, I mean my best guess would probably
<v Speaker 2>be about four foot tall.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, so yeah, I mean I would think that's a juvenile.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I mean, could could have baby stretched him out
<v Speaker 2>to five foot tall, but.
<v Speaker 1>That's about okay. Yeah, Let's see what else do I
<v Speaker 1>have here. How did this encounter or experience affect you
<v Speaker 1>after the fact.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I guess it just increased my curiosity a little
<v Speaker 2>bit about bigfoot. I before that I wouldn't say that
<v Speaker 2>I that I was a non believer. I was just
<v Speaker 2>a little skeptical about it. You know. I sometimes would
<v Speaker 2>tell my brother I didn't know if he was. You know,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know if you really know what you're talking about,
<v Speaker 2>you know, but I will say my curiosity, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I increased quite a bit, and I I became a
<v Speaker 2>believer for sure.
<v Speaker 1>I h has a changed your view, like on the world,
<v Speaker 1>I mean anything like that.
<v Speaker 2>Well, I don't I don't know how to really describe
<v Speaker 2>that if it has really changed my view. But in
<v Speaker 2>the world, although I you know, there's a lot of
<v Speaker 2>crazy things going on in the world, and especially since then,
<v Speaker 2>and there were then, but especially since then, there definitely
<v Speaker 2>are I have. It's changed that changed a little bit
<v Speaker 2>in the fact that there is way more out there
<v Speaker 2>than I was even ever thinking about. And I I
<v Speaker 2>feel like sometimes, you know, all we do are Sometimes
<v Speaker 2>all I do a lot is work, work, work, and
<v Speaker 2>you know, we have to work and take care of kids,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, there's all these things to do, and
<v Speaker 2>I it's really opened my eyes. I'm just amazed. The
<v Speaker 2>more I started learning, and then the more I have
<v Speaker 2>read and have met people that have actually had encounters.
<v Speaker 2>There's just way more out there in the world. And
<v Speaker 2>if he was a juvenile, there had to be parents somewhere,
<v Speaker 2>so who knows, you know, I'm thinking, well, who knows
<v Speaker 2>how tall they would have been. Since then, I have
<v Speaker 2>been more observant. I think of the outdoors and when
<v Speaker 2>I'm just when I am on vacations and different things
<v Speaker 2>like that when we go to different places and we
<v Speaker 2>do different you know, hiking or just we're near rivers
<v Speaker 2>or Since then, I've kind of done a little bit
<v Speaker 2>of my own research and I found some tracks and
<v Speaker 2>then that that opened my eyes even more that you know,
<v Speaker 2>something had to make these huge footprints. I will say
<v Speaker 2>after I had my sighting, when I told my brother
<v Speaker 2>Mike about it, I think at first he thought I
<v Speaker 2>was pulling his leg or something, and I was actually
<v Speaker 2>texting him and telling him as much as I knew.
<v Speaker 2>And I didn't tell him right away because it was
<v Speaker 2>so late at night when we got to where we
<v Speaker 2>were going that night, and then we were traveling the
<v Speaker 2>next day and traveling home, so I think it wasn't
<v Speaker 2>until I got home, because you know, my family thought
<v Speaker 2>I was crazy. They just they they really thought, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I didn't know what I was talking about. They thought
<v Speaker 2>I was crazy. I did not. They were just trying
<v Speaker 2>to tell me that I must have been seeing things.
<v Speaker 2>But I remember after I you know, Mike called me
<v Speaker 2>as soon as he could and we talked about it,
<v Speaker 2>and I think, you know, he he was pretty much
<v Speaker 2>in shock too that I saw what I saw, and
<v Speaker 2>he was he seemed to be so excited. Well, he
<v Speaker 2>didn't tell me at the time what he was going
<v Speaker 2>to do, but I don't even know if he knew
<v Speaker 2>what he was going to do, But I guess he
<v Speaker 2>decided to report my siding without telling me. So what
<v Speaker 2>happened was, I don't know. It wentn't too long after
<v Speaker 2>that he called me and said, would you have time
<v Speaker 2>to talk to Brian Woods, who was an investigator out
<v Speaker 2>of Kansas City about your siding, And he said, I
<v Speaker 2>I forgot to tell you I reported it. And I
<v Speaker 2>guess he reported it. I guess he just filled out
<v Speaker 2>the report and reported it on the I think on
<v Speaker 2>the bf r O website. I'm not sure that you
<v Speaker 2>know he he gets on there. He would get on
<v Speaker 2>and that's another thing. He would get on there a
<v Speaker 2>lot on the website, and and always, you know, tell
<v Speaker 2>me different things that he saw on the website. And
<v Speaker 2>he would ask where certain towns were near me, if
<v Speaker 2>he saw sightings reported that were near where I lived,
<v Speaker 2>and stuff like that. So we always had those conversations
<v Speaker 2>too prior to this. But he so, I guess when
<v Speaker 2>he was called he had to he had to tell
<v Speaker 2>him that it wasn't him that it was his sister
<v Speaker 2>that song, so he had to talk to the person
<v Speaker 2>to get firsthand knowledge.
<v Speaker 1>So yeah, well that's your brother's duty as a bigfoot
<v Speaker 1>researcher and an interviewer. Yeah, his sister had a sighting,
<v Speaker 1>he's got to take action.
<v Speaker 2>I I guess, So, I guess.
<v Speaker 1>So So okay, So after you had this sighting, did
<v Speaker 1>you go out and investigate more and try to look
<v Speaker 1>for answers? You told me you found a track.
<v Speaker 2>Or I did. I think it was maybe it was
<v Speaker 2>a little while after that. But what I did, I
<v Speaker 2>did do some investigating just online in I know. One
<v Speaker 2>of the questions that Brian Woods had asked me, I
<v Speaker 2>remember he asked me if I felt like if I
<v Speaker 2>thought the appearance of this big foot that I saw
<v Speaker 2>looked scrawny or did he look healthy? And I thought
<v Speaker 2>it looked very healthy. And so I remember at the
<v Speaker 2>time trying to see if I could find any images
<v Speaker 2>that were similar. But I didn't really get a chance
<v Speaker 2>to do any research until after I had I did
<v Speaker 2>some with with my brother Mike a couple couple summers
<v Speaker 2>ago when I was with him, not this last summer,
<v Speaker 2>but summer before that. In an area that he goes to.
<v Speaker 2>And then he was kind of telling me some of
<v Speaker 2>the things that they do, so as far as when
<v Speaker 2>you look, you know, looking for tracks and looking for
<v Speaker 2>if you find one, you might find two or three more.
<v Speaker 2>So you're looking for that progression of footsteps, which I
<v Speaker 2>was amazed at because I saw a few of those
<v Speaker 2>with him. And then so there's a there's a river.
<v Speaker 2>There's a river south of us where we live. We live.
<v Speaker 2>I live in North Texas, So so I think it
<v Speaker 2>was back in twenty twenty. It was when everything was
<v Speaker 2>shut down, you know, the first go around for COVID
<v Speaker 2>where everything got shut down. And so we have some
<v Speaker 2>campgrounds down near Glen Rose, which is south of US
<v Speaker 2>in Texas south where we live, and the Brazos River
<v Speaker 2>is down there and it runs right right near right
<v Speaker 2>right there along the campgrounds. So my family went there
<v Speaker 2>one you know, one weekend just to go canoeing and
<v Speaker 2>hang out and just spend some time at the river.
<v Speaker 2>And so I decided that I would do some of
<v Speaker 2>my own research down there and walk down the river.
<v Speaker 2>This river that I had been to this campground every
<v Speaker 2>summer for you know, the past several years, Like I
<v Speaker 2>don't know, said maybe ten years, because it was where
<v Speaker 2>our church would go for church camp. So since camps
<v Speaker 2>were closed down that summer of twenty twenty, our family
<v Speaker 2>was just down there for that weekend, and so I
<v Speaker 2>decided to go down the river and look around and
<v Speaker 2>do some of my own research looking for footprints. And
<v Speaker 2>I found some up near the where the gravel the
<v Speaker 2>gravel bar at the river, and then up on further
<v Speaker 2>up on the grass, and so I and then I
<v Speaker 2>wentn't I didn't have a tape measure or anything with me,
<v Speaker 2>So I found a couple of sticks, and I basically
<v Speaker 2>just marked on the stick and you know, put the stick,
<v Speaker 2>laid the stick down next to the print. I remember
<v Speaker 2>taking a few pictures and sending them to my brother,
<v Speaker 2>telling them, you know, look what I found here, and
<v Speaker 2>that I look pretty legitimate. And then I had a
<v Speaker 2>couple of my daughters were with me at the time,
<v Speaker 2>and and my son, so three of my kids were
<v Speaker 2>down there at the time with me, but only one
<v Speaker 2>of them seemed really interested. And I think, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I took her back down there with me, and and she,
<v Speaker 2>you know, she started to think maybe Mom wasn't so
<v Speaker 2>crazy after all. Because something definitely made those footprints.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, and do you plan on coming back up to
<v Speaker 1>Missouri and hanging out with Mike and myself?
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I would, Yes, I can't wait to do that, really.
<v Speaker 2>I I know Mike's always asking me to come up
<v Speaker 2>and telling me I just need to make time to
<v Speaker 2>do it, and I keep trying. But the problem is,
<v Speaker 2>you know, we have I guess I just have limited
<v Speaker 2>time to get away. Right now. I'm just counting the
<v Speaker 2>counting the days. I think it's almost down the days
<v Speaker 2>as actually a few more years till I and retire.
<v Speaker 2>But I mean, I've got to get up there. But
<v Speaker 2>I do plan on. I think we're planning in the summer,
<v Speaker 2>early summer. I think usually usually when I do get
<v Speaker 2>up there, it's to see family and I always get
<v Speaker 2>together with Mike but when we can. But I can't
<v Speaker 2>wait to get up there. And because really since even
<v Speaker 2>since I have been with him, when I was with
<v Speaker 2>him to the area that he does a lot of
<v Speaker 2>his research, we kind of went out during the day,
<v Speaker 2>we went out in the mornings and we found several tracks.
<v Speaker 2>And it really wasn't until after that, and this was
<v Speaker 2>a couple of years ago, and it really wasn't until
<v Speaker 2>shortly after that that he decided to just start going
<v Speaker 2>out more and he was up there at the evenings
<v Speaker 2>because I think at first he was a little scared
<v Speaker 2>to go up there in the evenings and stay all night.
<v Speaker 2>And I would tell him all the time, why are
<v Speaker 2>you so scared? You know, I would love to be
<v Speaker 2>able to do that, and but I think, you know,
<v Speaker 2>then he just see some of his buddies did it,
<v Speaker 2>and so he decided wasn't that bad after all. And
<v Speaker 2>then he would tell me all these noises he would
<v Speaker 2>hear at night and different different things. He told me
<v Speaker 2>so many stories, and that he started talking to me
<v Speaker 2>about some of the gifting they did with you know,
<v Speaker 2>and there there may be multiple masquatches around area, and so,
<v Speaker 2>you know, I just I'm so intrigued, and I keep
<v Speaker 2>telling him I want to go experience all of that.
<v Speaker 2>He he tells me, you know, he he doesn't have
<v Speaker 2>the experience I have with the sighting. But I always
<v Speaker 2>tell him I don't have all those all of those
<v Speaker 2>experiences that he's had since my sighting. I would love
<v Speaker 2>to experience all of that. I just I would love
<v Speaker 2>to be able to communicate.
<v Speaker 1>With one Yeah, yeah, that'd be really neat and I
<v Speaker 1>think if you come down, it'd be a really good
<v Speaker 1>time and we could all sit around and talk about
<v Speaker 1>Bigfoot and maybe the same thing will happen is last time,
<v Speaker 1>you know, on the show they came in. But yeah,
<v Speaker 1>I wanted to mention at nighttime it's a completely different
<v Speaker 1>ball game. You know. It's you think you're brave until
<v Speaker 1>you get out there by yourself, and then you don't
<v Speaker 1>really want to go too deep into the woods.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, well I wouldn't be for myself. You'd be there,
<v Speaker 2>Mike would be there, I don't know, you know, maybe
<v Speaker 2>the other guys would be there. But yeah, I just
<v Speaker 2>say that. I mean, I definitely wouldn't want to go
<v Speaker 2>out in the woods by myself, but you know, I
<v Speaker 2>probably wouldn't know the first thing to do if if
<v Speaker 2>one of them, you know, if I really came face
<v Speaker 2>to face with one. But but it is definitely something
<v Speaker 2>I'm interested in.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, I heard Bill's story about camping out there at
<v Speaker 1>night time, and yeah, yeah, that was pretty interesting.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, yeah, I heard I've heard I've heard that one too,
<v Speaker 2>and but I I know I watched the documentary you
<v Speaker 2>did when you were there and you know, you kind
<v Speaker 2>of ventured off on your own and that was pretty brave. Yeah.
<v Speaker 1>I mean I wasn't too far from the fire, but yeah,
<v Speaker 1>still closer to the Bigfoot.
<v Speaker 2>How close were you when when he broke that tree?
<v Speaker 1>I mean to me, it sounded like it was ten
<v Speaker 1>to twelve feet, but it was probably honestly like twenty
<v Speaker 1>to thirty yards. But I don't know, it felt like
<v Speaker 1>it was that close. But it's hard to say because
<v Speaker 1>it was so dark and I don't know, like I
<v Speaker 1>don't think it wasn't a full moon that day, Like
<v Speaker 1>actually there was no moon, so it was pretty pretty
<v Speaker 1>dark out so you just couldn't really see anything, so
<v Speaker 1>I just couldn't tell.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. Wow, I mean that's that's incredible too. I would
<v Speaker 2>love to experience something like that. Yeah. I know when
<v Speaker 2>I when my family went on vacation last summer, we
<v Speaker 2>went up to Durank We went over to Durango, Colorado,
<v Speaker 2>and we rode the Durango Silverton train. So when we
<v Speaker 2>were and I know, like when you go in the
<v Speaker 2>gift shops and stuff and Durango and Silverton, you see
<v Speaker 2>Bigfoot everything. You know, Bigfoot keychains, Bigfoot coffee mugs and bigfoot,
<v Speaker 2>you know, everything socks and so you know, that's bigfoot
<v Speaker 2>country up there. But when we were on the train back,
<v Speaker 2>I don't know why I didn't look for this on
<v Speaker 2>the way up, but we were going from Silverton back to Durango.
<v Speaker 2>I just sat there just amazed, and just I was
<v Speaker 2>just looking in the woods and the trees, and I
<v Speaker 2>was just looking for tree structures. And there were certain
<v Speaker 2>places along that route that I saw some amazing tree
<v Speaker 2>structures of the trees that they had to be placed
<v Speaker 2>in that particular way that they were like there's and
<v Speaker 2>it was so amazing that there was no human that
<v Speaker 2>could place those trees the way they were. It was,
<v Speaker 2>you know, it was pretty neat. It made me want
<v Speaker 2>to just get a backpack and get off and go
<v Speaker 2>venture out and and just hike around and look for evidence.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, did you find yourself constantly stirring into the woods
<v Speaker 1>after your encounter, kind of just seeing if you could
<v Speaker 1>maybe see them again?
<v Speaker 2>Or I did. I. You know, I grew up in
<v Speaker 2>Missouri and one of the things I miss the most
<v Speaker 2>is I about home is the wooded areas. We used
<v Speaker 2>to go out to the Merrimack River all the time
<v Speaker 2>in my family, my my my dad had a clubhouse
<v Speaker 2>on the Merrimack River now, but when I was growing up,
<v Speaker 2>my grandma and grandpa did, and so from like Memorial
<v Speaker 2>Day to Labor Day every weekend, we were at the river.
<v Speaker 2>So that's something that I never really, you know, thought of.
<v Speaker 2>But what I miss is at night, sitting around the
<v Speaker 2>fire and then hearing all of the noises, just the
<v Speaker 2>insects and all that, you know, the frogs and all
<v Speaker 2>the other noises you hear. And I mean I never
<v Speaker 2>once thought that there could be bigfoot, you know, somewhere
<v Speaker 2>bigfoot somewhere in the area. And since then, you know,
<v Speaker 2>I've read about I've heard your encounters, I've heard Mike's encounters.
<v Speaker 2>I've heard other people's encounters where there are tree knocking
<v Speaker 2>and other type of you know, noises and hollering communication
<v Speaker 2>going on. So that's what I would love to experience.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, what do you think the knocking is? Do you
<v Speaker 1>think it's communication.
<v Speaker 2>I think it's some form of communication. Yes, yeah, I agree.
<v Speaker 2>I'm not exactly sure, but I do. I do think that.
<v Speaker 1>Do you think they migrate they stay in place?
<v Speaker 2>I think they just I don't know what I think
<v Speaker 2>they live in communities, like they just kind of pick
<v Speaker 2>a place and they build their community there.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, but I just.
<v Speaker 2>Think there's there's got to be so many of them
<v Speaker 2>out there. The more I the more I read about it,
<v Speaker 2>And I know my brother has said that on some
<v Speaker 2>of his shows, I've heard him reference that they're you know,
<v Speaker 2>they come in all colors, and I think there's some
<v Speaker 2>truth to that. I didn't used to believe that. I
<v Speaker 2>used to think that they were just black, you know,
<v Speaker 2>that's what you see is what you see pictured everywhere.
<v Speaker 2>But I saw a white one, and I know I
<v Speaker 2>know what I saw.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, So.
<v Speaker 2>I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Now the area that you saw them, was it pretty
<v Speaker 1>wooded or were there a lot of fields around and
<v Speaker 1>just a lot of different habitat diversity or was it
<v Speaker 1>just main like mainly all woods.
<v Speaker 2>The area that I saw them.
<v Speaker 1>Mhmm. Yeah, Well it was dark, so I guess it
<v Speaker 1>was dark.
<v Speaker 2>But I do know last a year ago in December,
<v Speaker 2>we drove through that way in the daylight and it
<v Speaker 2>seemed kind of it was just really wooded. Parts of
<v Speaker 2>it were desolate. But when you got to that conservation
<v Speaker 2>area which was around where we were, I tried to
<v Speaker 2>pay attention, you know, through that drive. I was not
<v Speaker 2>driving that time, I was just a passenger. This was
<v Speaker 2>a year ago going across that same stretch of highway,
<v Speaker 2>and you know, I didn't see anything then, but it
<v Speaker 2>seemed to be more of a wooded area, right.
<v Speaker 1>I don't know. It was probably about I don't know.
<v Speaker 1>Four five months ago, I got a report in the
<v Speaker 1>comments of one of my YouTube videos and somebody said
<v Speaker 1>that them and their family saw a bigfoot running next
<v Speaker 1>to their vehicle on I forty four between Saint James
<v Speaker 1>and Rala, and I try to get them to talk
<v Speaker 1>about it, but they wann't budge.
<v Speaker 2>Wow. Wow, I've driven that highway countless number of times
<v Speaker 2>going from here from from Texas where I live North
<v Speaker 2>Texas to back home, and I know right where that's at.
<v Speaker 2>I mean, that's crazy. I would wow. I would like
<v Speaker 2>to hear that story.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah, yeah, if you're listening, I want to hear this story.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah. I want to hear that story because I know
<v Speaker 2>right where that's at, and I have I have a
<v Speaker 2>cousin who used to live in that area Saint James
<v Speaker 2>and then used to well years ago when I was
<v Speaker 2>a little girl. Her and her family or husband lived
<v Speaker 2>in Ralla, and I do know there there's some countryside
<v Speaker 2>out there too, because they lived on a farm out
<v Speaker 2>that out there.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Yeah, from we're all all the way to Sale, Missouri,
<v Speaker 1>and even past that it's pretty wooded.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah it is.
<v Speaker 1>Yep. Absolutely. Well. I think that that pretty much wraps
<v Speaker 1>up all the questions I had since it was just
<v Speaker 1>one encounter.
<v Speaker 2>Yeah, I just I just had the one one encounter.
<v Speaker 2>Like I said, the other have just been been fascinated
<v Speaker 2>with looking for evidence. So I'm excited to do more
<v Speaker 2>of that. I haven't been able to do a whole
<v Speaker 2>lot of that.
<v Speaker 1>Yeah. Well, I hope you get to get out and
<v Speaker 1>enjoy nature and reach out and maybe meet up with
<v Speaker 1>us later on in the future.
