Hi, I hit start recording. We don't know where we're actually gonna be live to YouTube though. All right, last time I started doing a countdown and it was like it was ten seconds before that. So I'm gonna hit live in a couple of seconds here, and then we're gonna wait five seconds to start talking. Okay, okay, all right, hitting live now. Wait, no wait, If I hit live now, you'll hear me saying all of this, I think. So I think we're just gonna talk until I see myself on the screen or until I see it yet. Oh my god. Nine eight, he's silently counting. Yeah, I'm silently counting. We have no idea when this will start going live, but we hit live, so hopefully we're hit where I see it. Everybody, double audio, double audio. It's fine, Oh my god, welcome on in everyone. We are live, so expect some initial live issues if you're listening to this after the fact. We are not live. But I'm very excited for today, Bob B because we're back to podcasting. I have been craving this. We haven't actually done a gaming podcast in a minute. We've done a pickups of video, we did a show and Tell, we did A, Q and A, and we've done You're right, we've done some wackys. Now we're ready for back back doing news stuff. I haven't had my fix of news in a while, and thankfully there's a ton to talk about. Oh, there's been so much, We've missed so much news. Okay, let's let me rephrase that, because I hear the sarcasm. There isn't a ton of news news to talk about as far as actual things, but there's strong rumors and some other fun things we can talk about this Swich two, which we want to dive straight into it. But the switch too has some very strong rumors right now, to the level of other rumors we've had in the past that have led to actual things happening. In my opinion, like that when the switch light was getting close and we kind of knew that something was happening. I feel like we know something is happening right now. Well, I've heard of many switch rumors switch to rumors. I don't know the latest one. I was a little surprised when you said that there were new switch to rumors. So you're gonna have to fill me in on this. Oh, I'm gonna feel you all the way in, baby, all right, but we all live, So hello to chat. I see scooty, I see a bunch of people in chat right now, and thank you so much for joining us. Is there anything you want to talk about before we get into the meat and potatoes of it all? Can we? I don't want to move too far ahead, but I want to talk about this thumbnail? Oh yeah, what about it? Hit me? Baby? No, you tell me you you self admittedly in our little document here, we have a little document and and you admittedly, uh stole retro dof the screen. Well, I mean it's right there too. Hold on, there's more though, because I went to go, I was like, this probably isn't their thumbnail. We probably, like you know, they probably stole from somebody else too, And so I did a little reverse Google image search and you stole it before. This is a the same that big it's the switch. That's a different image. That's me, that's me stealing another one. Like that's a different image. Yeah, I mean it's the same switch to though it's the same, like a different angle. That's the one next to it. You can tell that's the one next to it. But it's kind it's a different angle of the same thing. But it's but I'm Google's new that that's what it was, though, Well, I'm telling you that that one next to me there is the one I used. I just pitched the direction more towards where I was holding the switch in the picture. I know, I know, but it's the same bottle of the switch. Well then I don't feel bad then, because retro dodo must have stole this too. But I haven't seen this exact render before with a little a little box at the bottom of it that they've done. It's a mock up. It's not a real thing. It's not what there is. I don't want to jump too far ahead, but we're already here. Supposedly, the whole rumor around this has started because a dev kit has hit a Spanish development team for the switch too. We'll get to that. But whatever that dev kit looks like is not what's in the thumbnail. This is a click baity render that retro Doodo was using for their article, which we're going to be reading today, and I figured it was okay to steal that because aren't you friends with retro doodo. Yeah, it's probably fine. I was, like, I was I figured maybe they took it from somebody else or something. Now I just looked at the source image and it's all right, Yeah, I think they made this. I think this is them. It's all them. Yeah yeah, yeah, yah yeah yah yah yah. Yeah. It's nice. It's not good, very good. Mark up. See here's the thing. Living the life of a click baity YouTuber that has put switch to or pro switch or new switch in their thumbnails for the last six years, you always got to find the next new render that someone has made, so it doesn't look like one that you've used before. And I hadn't used this one before. I think this is a new one. It's not exactly great, it's it's very cute, looks very sleek. A big screen, that's what it does look like. It's beautiful. We have to roll the intro because we're doing it alive. There you go, yeay yeay. Might cut that way too quick. Weren't you supposed to cut to something else? Yeah, but first I had to cut us because it's a really awkward transition. We're gonna come to us now, Hey, thanks old us, new less us when that technically old uh, because they have lived a couple extra days right, we have might note they might know something that's happened in the last two days that we don't. Oh no, yeah, one of us. That would if you're doing the show without one of us is dead and we're the show must go on. That must go on. We have to report a skill Share ad so that they could prove it. We put it in the video. Hi, guys, welcome by the skill Share ad while I get an alerts on my computer. Guys, we love skill Share because they give us money to help do this podcast. Well, I also love skill Share because I use it. And Hey, if you're trying to get over the sadness of me passing away and you just want something to fill in the time, you can go to skill Share and take one of them many courses. Bob and I were just talking before we set up about Jordie's classes, as we always do. Well, I've learned many after Premieres skills, but after Affects skills specifically. We've also learned that they have Japanese classes and men would have both been trying to learn Japanese for coming trip calling Bona, oh ganki ya. We haven't taken these skill Share Japanese lessons, but we shouldn't. I think we should for the next time that we have to do a skill share. Yeah, I'm a glutton for Japanese right now, so I'll definitely get on that and come back next time and be even more sugoy than I was before. I think we're gonna pick Matsu Sama and we'll take a couple of his lessons and we'll report back next time. We want to take them together. We could take him over like Zoom Shore Zoom. That's interesting, we're on discord. Yeah, I don't know why I've said that. Hey, if you want to try that yourself and do your own little zoom meeting with your friends or skill share, make sure you all grab a free trial. The first one thousand people to use the link in the description will get one month free of skill Share. That again, is a specific link that you have to click below, and you have to get it while it's hot. Even if you're not like us and trying to use skill share to better our own YouTube channels, skill share believes there's no goal too small. Maybe you want to learn the productivity tips to power more me time, or maybe the goal is to start building a personal brand style Actually that is something I should probably look into whatever your career goes. Our skill Share has classes to help you along the way. And again, I can't stress us enough for Nontender listeners, it's like a one month free trial for the first one thousand people. Just click that link below. All right, bye, back to the just popcause I'm in the ground, brand dead and buried and we're bad. I'm not look at that I made it through the last Thank you Joshua Mattingly for the ten dollars super chat as well earlier in the live that we're doing currently. Okay, Bob, Yeah, I actually laying with these rumors here. Okay, all right, Okay, we have a lot on this sheet that I want to get through today. I mean, you've already flashed it. Um. I don't want to talk about all of this, so I don't want to harbor on for too long about this rumor. But um and I'm gonna be rehashing a lot of what I watched from spawn Wave because this is where I get a lot of my gaming news these days, because I'm a busy man on the go, so I usually watched spawn and sometimes our GT to get caught up with news. But essentially there is a dev kit for the switch to that kind of leaked because it hit a Spanish development team called Mercury Steam. Now it is assumed that it's mercury Steam that has this, just based on following threads. Now, I'm not going to go through and follow all those threads, but what everyone is speculating is the leaked twitch to dev kit, which is in Spain somewhere apparently is most likely in the studio of Mercury Steam. The reason why that is the most promising is because Mercury Steam works on the Metroid three DS two D series, so they co developed Metroid dread and they co developed Metroid Sammis Returns, So it makes sense that Nintendo would want them to have a dev kit for the new switch. Do you want to bring up that the retro Doodo article because we can read some of it. I jumped right to the tweet from Nash wheedle hm. I guess they're leaking it, but they wrote in Spanish, so this is through Google Translate. I'm learning Japanese. I don't Yeah, I don't know this one. This one, I don't know this one. I don't know the switch to development kid has arrived in Spain Spanish. I think developer already has the kit in the face of Nintendo's policy of secrecy, boost in their relations and indicates that we are in the last phase prior to the presentation of the new console. So they're saying that the old console the switches winding down, we're about to get the new one because a Spanish developer already has it. And it makes sense if it's if it's yeah, Mercury Studing, the one who developed a Metroid stuff. Yeah. And I think also what they're trying to hint at here is usually the Nintendo's policy of secrecy is so stringent and strict that if this is getting sent out now, we must be in the final stages of putting these putting these things in more people's hands, because the launch is getting really close. Yeah, I think that makes a lot of sense. We don't know anything else about it, We just know that they have but no, we've This is how these these it always starts the leading up to a new gym. Is these kinds of things start happening. Yeah, and well this isn't a surprise to us either. We new developers had something, but that was the We thought it was like a switch pro, which it could have been. There could have been like a like a mid cycle iteration of the switch that developers were working on that they just canned, that they just never used, or that could have been the switch too, And we're now just hearing more about more developers getting their hands on it now. The thread of credibility here as well, and you can bring up the article again if you want and scroll just underneath the picture of the tweet is it's tied to this leaka who leaked about the switch to deaf Kate in the first place. His name is Nash wheedle Um. Okay, that's that. Okay, that is the tweet, But the thread continues. The reason why he has credibility is because is a second YouTuber further down on this article, you can click on the video behind the games has collaborated his claims. Um, it's a Spanish Yeah, it's a Spanish YouTuber. But both of these people have been right about certain things before. I remember from spawn Waves video and I'm rehashing here a little bit. I you know, I if spawn thinks it's good, I usually think it's good. So everything he's ever told us has been right. So anytimes it just it just seems obvious to me. It seems about that time people are gonna start getting deaf kids. We don't know anything more. If this was like telling us what the next switch was going to be like, if it was telling us like, oh, it's gonna have no joy Coons's gonna be a fully attached unit like the switch light, then I would start having questions because then we're getting into details that might not be true. But if you're just saying, hey, people have it, that just makes sense. Okay. So yeah, this is what Nash Wheedle predicted. In the past. He predicted some extra some other Nintendo secrets he has predicted, such as the announcement of Metroid Dread, which he was given credit for because he predicted a lot of that before it was announced and was I was on the money on almost everything Metroid Dread. At a point where people were like speculating about METROI Dread, he might he might have it's like a connection at Mercury Steam. Well, yeah, now you're looking at that. He was right about Metroid Dread obviously has some kind of connection there to know about that. And if there is a death kit in Spain and it's most likely Mercury Steam, which worked on Metroid Dread. You can see the thread here that's being followed and again for this YouTuber to collaborate or corroborate with him. Who I think this YouTuber has some insight info has in the past before. I honestly know nothing about them because they're Spanish. I don't watch Spanish YouTubers. It just it seems very likely, it seems very like this, this is a strong thread as opposed to the normal weak ones. But yeah, you're also right, it's obvious. I mean on this channel, on our channel, we've been speculating and talking about the switch too and when that was going to come out, And that's how I mean, I think you're on the same page. But this whole time, we've been saying next year, because that's just what seems like the most likely, the most possible. We've been saying, well, I've been saying announcement later this year and release next year. Sometimes we don't. Oh you want to hear another crazy fact about all this too? Sure, and this is where I think it falls apart. But the the it's near the end of this article, But the current running theory is that the Switch too would be announced this month. That is what. Yeah, I know that even Spawn said highly doubt. Spawn in his video was like, I agree with a lot of this, but I think it's more likely end of the year. Didn't they announce the Star original Switch in the summer. Yes, it would be really cool to imagine, But I my first thought here is that it just would It would be wild. You've got, yeah, you got holiday season coming up that they're gonna want to capitalize on this current switches sales as much as possible for the last year before you roll into something new. Maybe not, but I just feel like the Switch is still doing strong enough to get one more holiday season out before you tell someone something new was happening. Yeah. Even a retro doodo here is saying the current software release plans for twenty twenty three that there there's no way that they would just have Yeah, it seems it seems wild. I mean, yeah, we just gotta direct of all the new stuff, a bunch of new stuff coming out the new Mario game, that's kind of a huge deal. Why would they sully that by having a new hardware? I would have believed this two months ago because it looked like Nintendo had nothing for the rest of the year after brought the Tears of the Kingdom. Yeah, but there was a ton of stuff they did and Mario things. So I think later this year we'll hear about something and then it'll be released sometime next year. It might be later next year, like it's not I don't think it will be March like the original Switch was. It'll probably be later on at some point. Yeah, I don't know. I think they do like that much area for releasing a lot of stuff. They released games around March April every year ever since the Switch came out. But yeah, it's because of the their fiscal year like ends in March, I think the end of March. So sometimes they strategize to make big sales before the years over so that they can be like last year, we made a lot of money even though it was like the last day of last year. But sometimes they strategized to make money in the next year. So it depends. It depends on what the company feels like doing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, of course. Ye. I'm trying to I'm trying to think if I if there's any chance, But then revealing it this month, but zero that'd bean ins would That would blow my dick off if that happened. So we're gonna believe this whole article and every I don't want that to happen. You need that. We're gonna believe this whole article and everything. Uh it says other than the that's gonna disco well that art. The article even agrees like that would be whacky and wild if if they announced Yeah, but the article is just repeating everything that the leaker is saying. Yeah, but then they say I find that hard to believe. No, I agree, I agree, So we're gonna believe everything the leaker says up to that point. Yes is what I'm saying. I guess. Okay, Yeah, they've been right about Metro Dread. They probably have an in and Mercury Steam. Uh, it just makes it. It makes a lot of sense. And I'm sure that whoever was developing Metroid Dread, I would bet a lot of money that they've got a dev kit for whatever Nintendo's working on, because they're a very important Nintendo developer. So it just all makes perfect sense. Now what that development kit is, nobody knows. We don't know what this next console is gonna have in it. We don't know how powerful it's gonna be. We don't know what the new whacking Nintendo gimmicks gonna be. You could have an IR sensor that you put in your eyeballs and that's how you control link. Well, if you want one law theory to talk about that, I heard that they were saying. Nintendo was saying they want to reimagine the controller again. They want to make a little tiny game boy like thing. No, they don't want to make their power that only can play like like indie games. That's no. I think that the specifically, they specifically said they heard people wanting that and they thought it was insane. They said the times over now. No Ah, No, they said they want to completely reimagine the controller, which they do it other time. They do console generation every time, except well, you know, sometimes they copy paste a little bit. So I don't know if that means we're gonna get like I switched to with traditional joy cons and then the pro controller this time around is going to be something completely new. I'm a little scared. I'm a little scared of what it could be because this is this is how it fails there's there's really no way for Nintendo to screw this up except for this part. The way that they do all of the time, they've cheehorn in a weird gimmick that just doesn't take they do. I mean, I think you think about the way they try and approach reimagining things, and it's it almost always seems to be like accessibility, accessibility for everyone, so like adding in motion controls and gyro and and a lot of like just the wmote for example, which was just a straight thing and then you hold a thing and it's it's eliminating analog sticks, which I think a lot of people that haven't gamed before and they get into gaming for the first time, or like Kim who's played a lot of games in her life, but anytimes she tries to pick up a twin sticks shooter or an action adventure game, she has no idea how to control it because it's just such a you have to get used to a controller, like so much of us. I used to playing with a traditional controller, but sometimes it can be a harder in for a lot of new gamers. So I think Nintendo will always trying to find a way to make it more accessible. Which was the idea of the wimote, and I think the joy Cons kind of resemble a mix of both of that. So I wouldn't be surprised if they try and reimagine it in a way that makes it new and accessible for everyone. Yeah, I don't know what that would look like. When the Week came out, I remember thinking, like, motion controls, I don't want to use that. I'm a gamer. Those are always bad and I don't won't have like a way to like actually control my input. It's going to be delayed and weird and it won't be accurate and whatever. And then the motion controls were pretty good. I don't want to say that they were like super accurate or anything, but the games that they made to use with the motion controls were awesome, and they worked in a way where anybody could just pick up the control or go and then the game would work so exactly. It made it accessible to everybody, and I ended up really enjoying a lot of the games that they released for the thing. But then they made that we you and they were like, here's a giant game pad and it's like cool, I can play games with the TV off And they're like only some games and you and you gotta be close to the console you're playing it on. You know, like there's a lot of parameters that made it confusing for people. And it wasn't the accessibility jump that we had seen previously with the Week. So there's other examples. Another example could be and this is probably a bad one, but one to switch of how one to everybody's switch that they just released. That's Nintendo's way of thinking. I think it's just how do we get everybody to play a game or to play games or you know, everyone can play this no matter who you are or where you are. Is kind of I think their mindset right now is sort of that accessibility to old people, which is why all those games they're not like you know, traditional you know, running around in an adventure. You're like throwing Ninja stars at people. It's a bad example of like not a fun game, but a good example I think of where their headspace is at in general as a company, like how do we get everybody to play everywhere? It could hurt us by dumbing down the game in a way that makes it not so fun for us. Oh yeah, yeah, I'm not saying it's one good thing. Yeah, Nintendo has been really good at making games easy to get into, accessible to a lot of people, easy to understand, and easy to jump into, but making it so that if you know what you're doing, or if you're really good at it, there'll be a challenge for you as well. It's as hard as you want it to be. There are some Nintendo games where it's just false flat and it's too easy and whatever, or some games that are. I don't really think there's that many that are too hard, but they're really good at having a balance somewhere. But in terms of hardware, I think that it's historically been hit or big time miss, big time hit or big time miss, and there's no in between, and we're ripe for a big time miss because they alternate. They alternate on the hits and the misses. So I'm very scared of whatever this new gimmick is going to be. I don't like I'd like the joy Con. They're fine, but I don't I don't love them like. I'd rather play with any other device, something that's more comfortable. I'd rather use an actual controller. The button layout is fine, but they're a little small. They definitely need to redesign it because they need to figure out what's going on with the drift. They need to do something, put all sensing sticks in there, or just have a better For sure, they will have to do something like that. It'd be insane and that'll probably require a bit of a redesign. So they have to make new Joycon. Yeah, we just don't know what they're gonna be. Will they have I'm sure they'll have some sort of motion controls. I hope that they don't have any other crazy stuff. I mean, Joycon are eighty dollars because there's all this useless tech in there than games developed for Oh it don't happen again. They'll put something in it. They can make everything so much cheaper if they just get rid of all of that. They'll put something in it that we will never use after the first day. Put a one in the chat. If you've used NFC in the last two weeks. Oh, that's bad timing because Zelda did just come out and it's one of the only games I last two weeks. I'm standing. Okay, okay, let's I'm sure there's some people, but you know, yeah, largely I don't think you're right. You're right if Zelda was like one of the Tears of the Kingdom was one of the first games I actually used NFC on period. So uh yeah, I think ultimately the picture Bob and I have and that we're painting is the switch too. If we want to speculate what it will look like will be very similar looking to Switch one. Uh It'll have the joy cons, the screen, the tablet. It will just look a little nicer. We'll look at the old switch and be like, oh God, that thing looks a little rough, looks a little bit outdated. Now that happens every time time a new handheld comes out. You look at the last one that looked to find the day before, and now all of a sudden, you can't believe how dated it looks. I remember the WU was one of the worst ones because the Wi You. I never really had a problem with the way it looked. I didn't think it looks super new or fresh, but the back and the switch came out. Looking at a WU pad, I was like, oh, this death space all over it. That happened really rapidly around that time period with tablets and phones that had bezels. Yeah, now now you look at them and you're like, oh my god, those bezels are so same with same with TVs that had the giant frames around the edges. Now TVs doesn't have frames anymore. It's hard to look at those frame TVs. But I think on top of that, it'll come or you'll be able to buy a control, a new kind of controller. I'm sure maybe we'll get a pro controller as well, or maybe the Pro for that will just be wacky. I'm thinking the Pro might carry over. I just I feel like we're gonna get something new controller wise. Either, the Joycons are going to be very different. I think they're gonna get a okay, I think the joycon are gonna be difficult because if they're redesigning the switch, most of the switch is the Joycon. It's a screen with Joycons on the side if you're changing it, because they have to change the rails too, if they're change the shape of it at all. So I'd imagine that we're getting new joy Con baby, but the Pro controller, I don't know. They might keep the same Pro control. They might want to work. They'll find a way to use the old rails so that you could use old joycons to because if we're keeping the pro controller. There's no reason why the old joycons couldn't work. Yeah, it's maybe it's adaptable for both. You can use the old joycon and you or maybe it's one of those situations where you can use the old joycon via Bluetooth but you can't attach them. Does that start to get confusing though, because let's say you can use the old joycons but you can't use the new Joycons on the old switch because the internals are different, and you're gonna be calling it something like the switch too or the super switch. And I think then you might get into a weu category of confusing consumers like what do you mean I can't use these new joy cons on my old switch. I gotta buy a new switch. Yeah. I think that might get a little confusing. Yeah, And Nintendo would be there's Nintendo would be the company that would just be like, you know what, it's going to be a little confusing for people, so nobody can have it, so no one gets to use. They would do that out of fear. It wouldn't be so much like so nobody. It would be like so nobody can just just so you know, no, but it's a new thing. This is not the WI you two. I swear to God, I nobody could be compatible. But because it's going to confuse the old people, then then they won't want to do it. That's what I Yeah, I agree, that's what I think it might look like. I don't know if you want to pull the audience and what they think. I don't even know what options we would give them. Let's ask the audience if they think this league is real or not. I'm actually curious if if anyone's buying into it, because I actually am. I think I'm buying into this one. Yeah, I think that it's absolutely I'm stop where I'm still standing by. We're getting an announcement later this year and the fucking things coming out next year. I agree. I'm going to ask them, is this Nintendo switched to rumor? True? Yes? No, I'll add a maybe for the skeptical for the skeptical people out there, all right, I put that in chat while people are voting on that. You said something interesting while you were ranting. You said Nintendo either has a big fail or a big success, or there's no in between. Yeah. I think that's an interesting conversation because I think what a fail for Nintendo, looks like it is a success for a lot of people. Like for example, would you call Arms a fail? Yes, yeah, I mean I would too. For Nintendo's standards, I would call it a fail. It's sold two point six six million units, though, which is more copies than Zeno Blade two sold by like half a million. But I'm talking about consoles and console. These are the platforms that all of your games for the next five years. Okay, yeah, I agree with that. This is the platform. Those games are going to be on your banking, your whole business on these consoles. And you release one that's a dud, you're gonna have some problems. Yeah, we're talking just about consoles. Yeah, a dud console is more of an issue than a than a low selling game. Yeah, I was in this here, see what are you doing here? I always forget chat will tell me how many units of the way you actually sold. It was something like, uh, I think one million. I think I can tell you. I looked up worse than Nintendo consoles and this article is just shame consoles. They put like the Game Boy at number four, Like, get out of here, it's just just a ten million. Yeah, it was really low. I was like, even thirty million is low for reference? Then switches on one hundred and fifty million. Ye, I knew it had a three in it. I guess million. Oh my god, oh my god for reference on how bad that is? Uh? I think thirty million is how many copies A Breath of the Wild they sold, right, Breath of the Wild sales maybe maybe if you combine with the week, Yeah, thirty million units on switch on switch, Nintendo sold thirty million copies A Breath of the Wild on switch and they only sold thirteen million units of their previous console. And that was thirty million Breath of the Wild. When at what time period? Because that was when it must have been like the first couple of weeks. Because by now, by now you probably have a lot more than thirty million Breath of the Wild. It's still I think it's still. It's thirty million right now. I thought the attack ray was insanely high. It was when the wind Breath of the Wild came out. The switch has sold one hundred and twenty five million units, which is and can we take a second. I know this isn't on the ducket to really appreciate, and I know it's I know, we'll know, but to really appreciate how successful the switch was after the Weiu like it is, it is actually insane. They were they if the switch failed, they would have been seeing Mario games on Xbox. I think, yeah, I think this might be it. Why it might have been a last ditch. But like, just oh god, I don't want to keep repeating the numbers. But to go from thirty million for a whole console to one hundred and twenty five million with games selling double what the previous consoles sold, like software, that's actually nuts. Back to we back to the right horse. I found an article that kind of has, uh, hardware fails from Nintendo. We got the Weiu, we got the Virtual Boy. Of course we have the three D S launch. Remember the launch of the three D S. Three D S did really good. Oh yeah, but when it launched, they started charging like three fifty. Oh the system costs two fifty, which actually that doesn't sound too bad, but people do not like that way. Why was it so bad? I thought it was two fifty. I mean, I mean I think it was three fifty. Yeah, I thought it was a lot. But anyway, they the price was really high at the time for whatever it was, and they it was ugly, and then they lowered the price, and then they gave everybody who paid the big price, like twenty three games, and it was cooled. Like the ambassador three DS. I actually have one somewhere. Yeah, that's my three DS as an ambassador. So you thought it was three fifty, But two hundred and fifty in twenty eighteen at eleven is the equivalent of three hundred and thirty eight today. Okay, so it was three fifty. I mean consoles these days cost a lot of money, so I guess perspective, it doesn't sound like that much because we're looking at freaking the project q Sony's new thing, looking at them charge at three fifty for that stupid stream we talk about that, didn't they didn't they do it? Do a number for that? I don't think so. I don't think we have a price yet. Didn't said it was two hundred. I think during the Fbox uh the Xbox FTC lawsuit, I think Xbox said what they think the price was going to be? Ohh and they said three hundred dollars. I had two hundred from somewhere. That would that would blow my dick off. If they did, I want to keep it where it is. Okay, all right, so that would be crazy. If it was two hundred, I would be. But that's that's what I thought I had. Let me finish the failed console CDI I know. I don't ignore that like fail Box Philip CD. I remember that Nintendo had a hand and that that flopped pretty miserably. Remember when they were gonna partner with Sony forget it, we'll do it ourselves. Yeah, how'd that work out for them? All? Not too great? Uh? Nintendo sixty four had a disc drive only in Japan, though, what else we models? Now? Those are fine? Those are later on disk drive. Never even launched, so I don't know if you would call that a fail in America. It launched in Japan, Oh it did? I'm pretty sure. Oh I thought it never launched anyway. Ever, it had like three games. I thought that never got released. I think it had am I full of shit? Maybe? I think it launched in Japan with like three games? Okay, chat will probably tell us if we're wrong. It's at the bottom of console. But however, and as similar moved to the we, Nintendo failed to directly communicate whom they were marketing to and why people should buy the system. It sold poorly after launch, and it wasn't long before Nintendo decide to scrap the project altogether. I had launched, but this article doesn't say it was Japan only. But I'm pretty sure it was Japan only. Uh, that's it. That's really all the big hardware fails of Nintenda. I'm definitely seeing a trend of they're forgetting the game and watch the new game and watches that they've been releasing. Those aren't really fails. Those are like commemorative things. But those are stupid fifty dollars for the original Zelda. You can't count those, you know? Why then on that? Because they definitely didn't fail. They sold out. However much they made, they will hard to find. I don't want Okay, just because you don't like them doesn't make them know. They were hard to find for like a few weeks. Now. You can still buy the Zelda one at best Spot. You can go to best By. It supposed to be a limited edition. I don't know. I don't game what you didn't come out last year? Was it last year? Am I'm in the year before? But getting old Oh I know is you go to freaking video games, uh video games in New York and did they happen for eighty dollars? Ninety dollars? You go to best Buy, they hamn for forty because they can't get rid of the Well. I typed in game and watched Zelda sales and I got an article that says that the game and watch was sold out within seconds after being released on the event of twelve, twenty twenty one. So and why are they available right now? I don't know, man, but I don't think you can count that anyway. But I'd be interested to see the sales on them. I'd like to know how many they sold. I don't think Nintendo released it thinking it was going to be the next big thing though. Oh, of course it's not a platform that they're bag like they were with the Wii, you like they were with the three DS, like they were with the sixty four Disc Drive. Oh and then JD in the chests. Wasn't the GameCube technically it failed? Yes, the GameCube failed for them, they consider many failure. How many copies of that? Oh units? Did that? So not that many? I think it was pretty close to the Wi you. Honestly, no, no way had to be more than the WIU. Everyone had a GameCube, everybody, Bob. Yeah. After GameCube sales, oh, twenty one million, you know, one million? Wow, I'm lucky I even had one. The Switch sold one hundred million more than that, and you know what, the DS sold the hundreds of millions. I think, what what Xbox, the original, Xbox and PlayStation two, PlayStation two for that generation. Yeah, the PlayStation two is still one of the top three best selling games of allah one hundred and fifty eight million. Yeah, the Switch is getting close? Is it number one? Is it the number one best selling console? That is not on what I googled, but I would assume Xbox original and the Xbox sold twenty four million, so you know what, GameCube and Xbox were kind of tied. But Xbox beat GameCube? Am I lucky? I had a GameCube growing up? I feel like I feel like a lot of my friends had one. Well, we're Nintendo guys, That's why I none of my friends had it growing I mean, now they all do because everybody loves those games. But when I was growing up, everybody had a PlayStation two. Nobody I knew had a GameCube. I think I think Michael and Drew, who I'm still friends with to this day, had it, but I can't think of anyone else. Remember we were the weird We were the weird guys for having the GameCube. You bought a purse because I had no people did think I was weird and not not having a PlayStation two. So the number one best sign console of all time is the PlayStation two. The number two is the Nintendo DS. It's right under the PlayStation two selling one million less, which is wild. Yeah, but the third best sign console is the Switch, so the Switch has time to They don't really have that much time though, behind by like twenty five million the Switch. I think the Switch will do it. I think this because also those sales count everything after the new stuff coming out as well and people picking them up. I think the Switch has time. Another reason why I don't think Nintendo will reveal anything new this year because they really want to get that last push on holiday sales because it would be so cool if this Switch becomes the best selling console of all time, like that would be wild for them their stock prices um. So our little poll results are in thirty nine percent said yes, they believe this rumor is true. Twenty one percent said no, but thirty nine percent said maybe. So eighty percent of the audience is either yes or skeptical, which, you know, I feel like we didn't even do that great of a job, kind of rehashing what other people have been like following threads. This just tells me people on the chat are two to be wrong. Just be wrong. People in the chat either maybe wishy washy, maybe nonsense. You onlady, do another one for yes and no. I'll do another one for yes and no. Yeah, sure, okay, Bob doesn't like the wishy washing pick one man. I thought adding a skeptical was good. Now at forty percent of people picking that okay, okay, okay, is the switch to rumors true? Yes, one hundred percent? No, not at all? Idiot? Idiot, idiot, All right, make a decision you forty percent skeptical. We need this to throw in one way or another. I'm voting. I vote. I'll vote yes, yes one hundred percent. Actually I can't because I'm lougged in as the account just no. One more vote is yes for me. We have a lot more that we wanted to talk about here. Did you. I know this conversation was fun, though. I want to jump ahead a little bit. Did you play Pickman because I didn't. Yes, I finished the demo pick I completely forgot about that. Yeah, I'd love to talk about that. How is it it's good? Next? No no, no, no, no no no. I think I heard you saying you didn't like it. No no, no, no, no, Well if you okay, let me tell you what. Okay, let's walking back a little bit. No, it's not well. I walked it back live. If you watch the vaude you'll see it. I started playing the Pickmen four demo. I went in honestly not really feeling like playing Pickman four, which was my issue. I had to stream and I didn't know what to play, and I was racking my brain and I was like, oh, I never played the Pickmen four demo. I wasn't really feeling like playing it, but I was like, oh, jump into it. I started it and immediately I was like, why do we need another Pickman game? Like this is no different to the last one I remember playing. I don't know why I'm here again. The game start with you having a bunch of Pickmen. It throws you right into the action and you do a bunch of stuff with a bunch of pickmen, and then it's like an intro to tour. Then immediately pulls the rip chord and then you go through some story and then you start fresh with no Pickman and you need to start with one and learn how to use one pick And I'm like, why am I learning how to use one pickmen right now? When I started the game with like thirty of them, Like this is really weird pacing, And up till there, I was really being quite negative. I was like, the pacings all wrong. I don't know why I'm relearning what I don't need to learn because I already did it, And I don't know why I'm playing Pickman again. But almost instantly once you get access to the full game and you can start going wherever you want, and instantly I had this path over here which I saw something down there I wanted to do, but I can't get to that yet because I'm running out of time in my day and the sun's going to go down, So I'm going to go and do this cave first, and I knew Pickman down there to then then do this and that, And suddenly I had all of these things I was trying to get done in a day, and the micromanaging brain kicked in and I went, oh, yeah, Pickman's fun. I remember now that Pickman is actually fun, and I'm actually looking forward to playing a new Pickman. So it kind of changed from there. And then I finished the demo and there was a lot of meat in the demo. Honestly, Yeah, it was pretty long. So I heard it was three hours. I finished it in just about two. Okay, it's got along. The Agia Calamity demo was yeah. And the good thing about these Nintendo demos are they always start to at the start of the game, which I guess is great. They feel confident about the start of the game being good, and they don't have to throw you into like an action part too, which is what demos used to do. They give you one of the most fun parts of the game for like five minutes. No, they give you the first two hours of the game, and if you decide you want to pick the game up, it carries the save over, so you got because it's a replay anything. Yeah, it's awesome. Um so yeah, now I finished the first day of Pickman and or the first little chapter of Pickman, and now I'm going to pick the game up here in about two weeks and I can just pick up where I left off. So yeah, I came around on it. I it's not one of Nintendo's strongest franchises by any means. Um. I don't think it's anywhere near the Mario or Zelda levels. I am surprised they're still making Pickman like it does genuinely shock me, right, but it is fun. And I think in this in this new age of we have a lot of people really into casual games. There's whole YouTube channels around like casual gaming and fun vibes and uh. And you know that girl that I always send you her tiktoks because I hate how to talk about that. We're gonna talk about that publicly. I hate how one No, the other one, the one with all the aesthetic and the cozy vibes, and I hate how clean. I'm so jealous right right, and she's always playing cozy games that whole vibe. I think Pickman really cheap played Zelda stretched y. Yeah. I wasn't going to bring that up because it doesn't bother both of us, but I think if Pickman is to have a resurgence now or get some new fans. I hope it finds its way to the cozy game community, the people that play Animal Crossing or Spirit Fairer or Cozy Grove or those kind of cozy games that have really taken off, and indie games are trying to replicate that feeling of cozy in their games. Stardo Valley. I hope that community finds Pickman and some new people give it a shot, because I do think it's really a cozy game. I just feel really bad when my Pickman die and then little spirits go up to Heaven. That pot sucks, but that's good. I liked it. It's been a long time since I've played any Pickman. I remember not liking it on the GameCube because I think I was just a you know, young teen that just wanted it kill things in my games. It's very niche. I don't think I would have liked it when I was young. I play Pickman three first on the Wii you because I was desperate for games and I didn't think it was something I would like. But I was shocked by how much fun I had with it. It's not like Zelda fun, but it's it gets your brain turning, and it's addicting and it makes you want to keep playing it like an RTS style game, you know, until you beat it and then you're like, oh, that was a good time. I will download the demo. I will give it a shot. It comes out next week. I think it's like the thirtieth of this month. Let's look it up. Pickman four released state I spelt that really wrong July twenty first, that's actually that's actually it's a week from tomorrow. Very cool. You know it comes out today this podcast. Yeah, but also Mega Man with Punching comes out. Oh, Mega Man with Punching comes out today. I'm very excited for that. I'm very excited. Gravity Circuit comes out today. Gerard was streaming it yesterday, so that that But isn't that his competitive game? He got a sponsored stream with WHOA. That seems like conflict of interest. Gerard's coming out with a Mega Man type game, but it's a different His is like a roguelike. This is uh, this is like level based. It's it's Mega Man with punch and your your there's enemies that you get abilities from that are just like the robot Masters and Mega Man accept instead of shooting them. You do like cool combos? Hey, you want to pouring it up? Because I'm watching I'm watching the just the video of this on LinkedIn a link to you on Steam's page and actually looks sick it. Actually, I actually might play it's so good. It's it's It's it on Switch today too or just Steam. I think it's also on Switch. They had a demo. I don't know if the demo is still it looks awesome actually or you know, I mean, you're not wrong. I don't see the demo anymore. The demo is pretty long too. Uh yeah, no, it's awesome. Oh, there's also a grappling hook like in Bionic Commando. There's a lot of crazy platforming stuff. Looks it looks good where I'm watching a guy straight up play the game. Yeah, and the level designs really good. It's really good. I haven't played that much of it. I play the demo, but I really liked what I played, so I'm excited to play more of it. Yeah, if you're listening, look up gameplay of Gravity Suck it. If you like Mega Man and actually I'm yeah, I'm I'm with you. Bob, I think it looks pretty good. Yeah, I don't think i'd seen it until now. You just know it is just about you told about Mega Man with punching. Yeah, we saw it at a packs, but uh, I don't think I gave it a good look. It wasn't in my video. I kind of pooh pooed it because pooed we saw it there. They had like a little booth and stuff. And then I asked the guy. I was like, is this the same demo that's on Steam? He goes, it's actually an older demo than what's on Steam. So I was like, then, why the hell would I play this? So you gave it the poop poop? Yeah, yeah, it comes out. It's probably on Switch right now. This is hot breaking news. Switch take a little hot breaking news. I'm gonna take a look. I'm gonna I'm gonna see if it's on my switch. It says July thirteen, I'm getting it on Steam. Well, I'm I'm a Nintendo guy, and the podcasts that were on it should be exactly the same. It is, uh, not on Switch right now. It is not. It is not on Switch right now, even though it comes out today. It is not currently on Switch. That's messed up. I'm gonna load up. You can buy it on Steam. Will you try to say games come out earlier on Steam. I don't tell you. I'm looking at my Australian shop because it's a day ahead and it is not on the either, so keep an eye out. That might be issues with the Switch version. I want to talk about something that we don't have on the document. Real quick. Limited Run Games had a showcase yesterday, and you like you like physical games? I do? I do? I do? I do? I heard about that. I was editing all day. Oh my god, there's so many games. I'm not going to let me read them. Okay, I'm reading Clock Tala, Chickory, Cansylvania Advanced. I'm reading the ones that I know all I've actually been playing. I've been playing Cassylvania Circle of the Moon for Game Boy Advance. So it's pretty cool that that's getting a physical release. Uh, gux is crazy. Here's why gus is crazy. Okay, me and Will on my other podcast, we're talking about games that like retro games that haven't been rereleased or whatever, and that it's really it's been hard for old license holders to put games on newer platforms and stuff. Not that it's been hard, but they're not trying enough. We want retro. We want more retro games pretty much. And somebody in the chat said, what if the game had problematic content or like, you know, some weird themes like racist or sexist stuff going on in the game, because times back then were different and people didn't really have strong opinions about stuff like that. So I was like, you gotta do what Warner Brothers does and just have a disclaimer in the front says this is a product of the time. We're keeping it here for history's sake. Blah blah blah. I was like, you got to do that with something like GEX. Good luck remaking a GUS game these days now here. They are literally the day that was a day before, it was Tuesday, so they released this yesterday. So one day later they're releasing Guts, which I hope as a nice disclaimer on the front that says GEX says some wild shit, this is a product of its time. I actually have never played GUS, but I know he says a lot of quips. Donkey has a good video he All I know is he does like a racist Chinese accent sometimes, yeah, just really randomly very nineties. People in chat are saying that they bought it, that they bought the game on switch. It says that they see it on the switch. I'm telling you, I'm it's not on my switch. You can't have it. Why Why is it not on mine? You're not allowed. It's not in my recent release. I'm not allowed. Yeah, it's not of my recent releases. I'll go to Is it on the website? You can download it from. You can buy it on the website and have it sent to your phone. It's not on my It's not on my featured I mean, do I have to type it in to find it? Like? What is happening here? It's a it's a direct download. It's on sale too, it's ten percent off, but it's just downloaded. Just buy it on the website. I've never done that before. You never bought I always buy it from the website. Why because I just directly downloads and you can just type with your with your grubby meat hands on the I'm scared it'll mess up. Okay, when I type it in manually, I do find it. It's just not that it's okay, can you guy in chat? Can you guys see it in your recent releases? Might probably not, I don't know. They just play, don't care. It's it's a little indie game. Nintendo doesn't care about it. Everything goes into recent releases, everything, even like shovelwear and like dollar trash. I don't know. I don't rely on that. You gotta type it in. You got type in gravity circuit mea. I've been switching for six years. That's what I've always relied on. If a game comes out, I go to recent releases, I buy it. That's what I've always done. I type in name of game E shop into Google, and then I downloaded from the shot. Two different methods, but mine has never failed before. We should probably go over the poll. Here is the switch to rumors true that drum roll please, I canna say one hundred percent, Yes, one hundred percent at six sixty one percent, and no, not at all, idiot at forty percent, So that that is a little better. At least now we're getting some real numbers here. So if funny enough, it seems like the skeptical people split half and half, twenty percent went one way, twenty percent went that's the way it should be. Yeah, I think I think yes, I think I think yes. I don't know. I don't know how we'll ever get proof of this specific dev kit being at this specific place, but it could lead to getting an announcement here sometime in the next at least year or so, which what at least point towards it being likely that it happened. What else do you want to talk about? You want to talk about metal gear? We probably should. I feel like that's a loose, a loose thread that we have in our in our law, because I want to hear it was this is episode sixty, by the way, did we talk about that? Congratulations on hitting sixty? Do we care? Congratulations buddy, Thank you. We are also doing remote this week because we didn't have access to the studio because he's we just need a break everywhere between. You know, we did a lot of We did a lot of a lot of stuff and traveling lately. Yeah. Also another update before we get to this metal gear loose thread? Did we talk about we did we talk about in an episode what happened with the SD card or was it just the bonus episode? We had a whole bonus episode talking about well for patreons that got to hear the conversation about the last time we filmed a podcast episode. Bob and I filmed episodes for our main channels, and then they got four formatted and deleted. I won't say how who. I sent the card off to get salvaged from a salvage data place and they couldn't salvage it. So those videos are officially gone, tying up that loose thread. But yeah, before all of the crazy podcasts we did, we did one where we talked about metal Gear for some reason, and we talked about you lending me metal Gear Zeros, ground Zeros and the game Boy game. Yeah, so it was. It was because there was a bunch of metal Gear stuff announced in the PlayStation show. Yes, and I went a little nuts because I like metal Gear a lot, and then you decided you wanted to give it a try, and I there's a lot of what, there's a lot of metal Gear games. There's a lot of ways you could jump in. I said, just start with something really easy. Ground Zeros is two hours, so I can't get easier than that. Well, you did give me your childhood copy of the metal Gear game Boy game, and want that back, give me that back, well, you can have it when I'm done with it. And then I bought Zeros from too many games, So I played Zeros first, and it was it was it was an hour. I finished it in an hour, and it was it was a time. I had a time with it. It wasn't bad. I have like preconceived notions of Metal Gain. I was expecting a lot more wacky gameplay and hiding in boxes, and I probably just didn't know how to do that. I feel a little bad because the newer Metal Gear, Ground Zeros and Fan of Pain are the least silly out of all of them. They're like very serious. There's some silly stuff in it, but not especially Ground Zeros. Ground Zeros is very serious, and and that's a little you're missing out on that, Okay, okay, well as long as I am aware, I'm missing out on it, so I yeah, it's you. You sneak into this little base camp. You have to like avoid some enemies and like strangle a couple of them, and then you find this child and you save them and take them to a point where you can call a helicopter. And then you do that a second time with another child, and then you get like this big wacky cut scene and then the whole thing ends. I liked the way I liked all the cut scenes. At the end the early ones, I was a little bit confused by what was happening or just not. I didn't really have any like weight in the systue. The first cut scene has like ten minutes where you're like, who are these people? What is happening? And then they reveal Snake and it's very silly and like like stupid. I did like. I liked the cinematography and the storytelling of it all. It's what Kajima does best. Um. I liked the bad guys leaving and tearing off their their foxhound symbols and throwing them down, and as they're falling, you see Snake climbing up and you see his foxhound symbol, like so like this is That's another very stupid thing. The thing is that the guys who came there are supposed to be XOF soldiers, and then when they tear out the I think the badges are supposed to be backwards so they look like XOF and then when they tear them off f You're like, oh no, it's fox Oh, it's like supposed to be like a big reveal, but they do a very bad job showing it. Oh yeah, that was lost on me a little bit. I thought they were just pretending to be Fox. They kind of were. I don't I don't know, to be one hundred percent honest, there's a lot of confusion with the lore of Metal Gears something like that. Either they're pretending to be or it's flipped or something. I don't know. Well, anyway, I didn't hate it, and after playing it, and mostly after getting the last cut scene, I was like, well, now I need more story. At least that's good. Yeah. It got me in a position where like I'm not like in love with the series or anything. But I bought five immediately and I was like, I gotta play five. I'll give five. I feel really bad because it definite bad ground. Zeros leaves you off on a cliffhanger, and you do definitely want to know more of what's going to happen next because it's a crazy cliffhanger. But Fan of Pain, it takes you on this ride and then also gives you no closure at all. I'm expecting that. Yeah, every everyone I've talked to about this. Have said the story in five just falls off, and yeah, so I'm I'm not really but the thing is, I'm I don't know anything about the story anyway. Yeah, so my game. I might feel a little bit let down still anyway, but I don't think I'm going to be nearly as let down as like you or most people would be there. That's another thing is that the Metal Gear storyline is vast and confusing no matter what angle you tackle it at. So sorry, chat just said, there's a cat? Is that a cat? To you? That's a weird looking cat? This is a cat? Oh you can't even see it all? This is doing such a cute thing. Yeah she was. She was upside down that whole time. It looks so good. Do you think this is a cat? You think this usuld your cat? Whoa heyes, you always do, all right? But yeah, And then I I finished that, and because I had to wait for Ground Zero's I oh sorry, five, I started playing the game Boy game and I was actually liking that too, pretty great. I got pretty far into that, and then we went to play Val. While I was sat here playing it, and I just placed it down and when it hit the table, it went to white screen, and I didn't realize I was supposed to be saving the whole time, so I lost about three hours. You gotta manually save, Yeah, so I gotta. I gotta been putting off starting it again. So the game Boy game is a reimagining of Metal the first Metal Gear Solid, So it's it's it's not it doesn't take place in the same timeline. It's like it's like a what if story. There's like different characters, but they all follow the same sort of path that happened in the first game. So it's like it's it's like the first game, but not so. I think if you want the weird Metal Gear, you gotta at least try Twin Snakes for the GameCube. I think they want to do weird metal gear. I actually, when I was living in Texas initially um when we first moved there, I found Twin Snakes on GameCube at a good will and I remember the good will and it was like five bucks and I bought it, and it was crazy because that's such an expensive game. Did you play it? I thought you'd never played it? So back then I didn't have a ton of money, and I saw it. It for like a couple hundred dollars, so wow, we had some money. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean that's a good flip. It's no, it was, it was, it was. It was a good flip. But uh yeah, no, I wish I wish I didn't because I would love to play it, and I'd love to play it on a GameCube. But whenever I think about Twin Snake, because I'm like, damn, I had it. I should just played it while I had it and then sold it. But yeah, but no, I think if if you're interested in play whatever you're interested in, you know, whatever got you intrigued. Yeah, I'll play five and then I'm actually I've told you this already, but I've been desperately working on my Zelda review and nothing else has mattered too. I've been doing two things the last week, Zelda review and in my downtime learning Japanese. But over the last like month, oh yes, but everything I've been doing, I don't I've been learning, you know, I've been learning heraghana for the last week. I don't know any sentences yet, but I almost know all the haraghana you do. You showed me your little workbook today. There's ten haraghanas that I don't know yet so and I but I just see it's really not learn how to modify them, you learn and how to see that was that was easier than I thought. Yeah, because all the ones that are like car uh just become god like all the all the case sounds become G sounds, and then all the S sounds become Z sounds. So as soon as you see the modify it, you just modify it. It's actually pretty straightforward. Um. But my z Elder review, I think if it doesn't come out tomorrow, we'll be out on Saturday. Um, because it's it is done. There's a there's a few things I need to shoot after this, and a couple of things I have to sing, and then if all that gets put into place today, it should be out tomorrow and then I would love to start metal gear on the weekend. It's so awesome. I played I played through ground Zeros because you were playing through it and I got jealous and I wanted to replay it, and uh yeah, it went by pretty quick. But then I remember that I wanted to try to get the platinum and like beat everything and these there's a lot of like side missions and stuff. Um. One of the side missions in Ground Zeros you have to save Cogima. You should probably check that out. Okay, I think I heard about that. Um, yeah, I turned out I wasn't that close to one hundred percent of it. There's one mission that I never beat on hard mode, so I'm going to try to do that. But yeah, there's missions in Ground Zeros. Yeah, there's like the main story and then you can go to mission Select and there's like other like side missions you can do it. It's like the same thing. It's it all takes place on that island. It'll just be like, go there and disable these trucks, go there and save Cogima. Go there and oh you can say Ground Zeros. Yeah, oh I didn't know. That's what I'm saying. There's a mission you literally select a mission to save Cogima. It's fun. Yeah. Uh. Look at a couple super chats from earlier. I want to grab um card Collector or the five dollar super Chat Bob. I would love to see you and Reu do Mario make a contest. Reu car he's a Mario streamer and let's play. He is he is very good. It would not be contest, surely not as good as you. I'm not that good. Jesse with a Tula super Chat, Samsung Red Hot Winner Gaming Flex a switch. I don't know what any of those words mean, but thank you so much for the two dollar super Chat and Vaughan Zin with a ten. Do you think the new switch too will have backwards compatibility with switch og games? And if so, do you think games like Tears of the Kingdom and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet run better or be locked to thirty Still? I think Scarlet and Violet are spaghetti coding games that are going to run terribly no matter where they are, and a boost in hardware isn't going to help them at all. Tears of the Kingdom on the eye the hand, yeah, of course, if it's if it's a new more powerful switch backwards compact, of course it's going to run better. Similar thing to the WIIU to switch situation with the original Breath of the Wild, which had frame rate issues a lot more than the switch version. But I think that kind of speaks for itself. I think you'll get a higher resolution and more stable frame rate out of something like Tears of the Kingdom, but I don't think you could expect sixty frames or anything like that. No, And I don't really want to go into speculating too much about what the switch to will be able to do because I just don't think it's worth it. I mean, it's going to do what it does, and we can hope for ten eighty sixty as much as we want. But the gaming industry has a track history of letting us down with specs with hardware. I mean that goes across the board, PlayStation five, Xbox, and the switch I think all underperformed. So I guess we'll see. I think the whole upscaling conversation of upscale resolutions can definitely help if they utilize that. But I don't know what Nintendo. You never know? Yeah, is that it? I think it might be. We gotta do a bonus episode for patreons, and then I need to get to singing before. I mean we're recording. You could just do it. No, no, no, no, no, that's fine. I mean sounds pretty good right now the way we have it. These these people don't need to hear me sing. No one does. Really. I think they would. I think they'd like to. I think it's I think they like it. After Eric processes it and put some auto tune on it, I can download something. What does he use? It's okay, uh, thank you so much everyone, but being here for episode sixty and supporting us up till this point. Um, Bob and I are going to Brooklyn. Going to Brooklyn next week.
