Encounters in the Desert

While hanging out in the desert, Erin, his friend and his sister had
a mysterious encounter that you might be able to help identify. Stories of these
beings might be hard to believe until, like me, you start hearing similar
stories from people who don't know each other. In this case, three people
witness the same thing. My name is Edwin and here is Erin's true scary
story. We went down to this area in southern Utah, in the town
of Saint George. Just down from there. It is an area called the
Arizona Strip, and it's right on the border of Utah and the state of
Arizona. We are down there, hanging out, chilling. We've seen a
lot of stuff out there, and my buddy was like, hey, when
I flipped my car around, anything happens, we can just head straight back
back into the town. Once I got into his car, I was sitting
there, look up and this figure he went away to speak hear just appears
wearing this the wolf skin, some sort that that name of Americans were.
He was kind of hunched over, his head was turning, its eyes were
glowing yellow. I was terrified. I was screaming. Then next thing,
he's gone. I still had to flip the car around. I still had
to get out of the car. My sister and my buddy, they're both
freaking out, and we got out of there. And after that, I
was with sister Brittany and one of my other friends. He's all into the
paranoim. He calls me up one night, Hey, when I go down
check out some the paranormal stuff, Like, sure, this is about about
ten thirty at night, but I guess it's few nights before that. We
saw some glowing eyes out in the bushes and we didn't see anything else.
It's just suddenly glowing eyes. We thought there could have been like an animal
coming back out there. Again, we see these glowing eyes, but then
they started multiplying. There's we saw a couple first, and there's four eight.
Okay, let's get out of here. We'd walk off, and then
we turn around all the cities, the shadowed beakers, heads whatever. It's
dark the moon, the moon's out so somewhat see what's going on. And
we see these heads. It looks like they're popping up and down trying to
hide behind the bush, Like, what in the world is that? So
I got the feeling I was like, all right, guys, let's get
out of here. I don't think that's a good idea to be hanging around.
Start running off my buddy. He goes down this hill. My sister
and I were up on the top and then we're like, hey, don't
freak out. There is this tall shadow, big gear right behind you.
You're like, guys, it's not the time to freak me out. Not
the joke around, not kidding you. Man, Look behind you. He
turns around and there's this giant, big gear. It's gonna be at least
seven feet tall. It was where it had like a figure of a al
with a rope, kind of like the Ring raised from the Lord of Rings,
something similar to that. Just pitch black. We take off running.
Sister's tripping. She's wearing flip flops out in the desert like a carrier.
We get down to the car I left my car. There's about five six
of those shadows, but they're right behind this tall one there, this tall
one, the leader. They're just falling them. We're like, that is
not happening. To get in my car. I'm just frozen in fear.
Everyone's yelling. I'm screaming that leader that's why I call it. It looks
like he's targeting my buddy. My buddy's in the front passenger seat and it
is walking right to the front towards him. Noboddy just says, just start
the car, get us at it here hit us. If I start the
car, pick off. This is a dirt road. I'm going back so
I can. We're going about sixty miles an hour down the road. My
friend says, that thing, wherever it was, it did not move what
she started to take off, it just it just just stood there. I
don't know. Shortly after that, my sister says, there's a few of
them behind us, all on us. Once we got down to the main
road, they stopped. That was terrifying. It took me a good month
month and a half. I was afraid. I was afraid of dark for
about the amount of time it took me a little bit to get over that.
On our way home, I was struck. My sister off. We're
saying, what was that. At the time, we had no idea what
it was. All we can think of was that we're out there looking for
skinwalkers. But I don't think those those or skinwalkers think there are some type
of demons. We're out looking for something, and if're out looked for
something, it's gonna show itself. We kind of got more than what we
asked for. I don't understand what that thing is. It's bizarre. I
know if we hung around that we would be in trouble. Who knows.
I don't know what would have happened, and I just know it wouldn't be
good if we just hung around any longer. So we try to tell the
story of the experience with a lot of people, a bunch of our friends
that they're like, oh, years full, that didn't happened. I'm like,
well, i'd all three of us see it. All three of us
can imagine the same thing. We've had some people who believe this. I
got to the point where I didn't share it because a lot we've got many
fun out for it. So kind of looked at that for for a while.
I try to look it up. All I think find was what I've
looked up. They said they're called shadow man. There's some that look exactly
what I saw, like the robe type figger. Then there's one that I
did not see. But there's one that wears a like a hat, which
I did not see the other ones. They didn't have really any shape.
They were just like a black blob kind of floating behind. I've only gone
back twice. I really don't like going back out there. I've got one
I'm usually with other friends doing something else. I did something with photography and
stuff with telescopes. I kinda want to be with a large group of friends
if I'm gonna be out there at all, I just won't go out there
by myself. Strange every time I go out there at night, even if
I'm not out looking, I feel like I'm being watched. Kay Erie like
us people interested in the paranormal, Aaron explores other areas, starting with the
ghost town. History continues right after this, Let's dick with us. In
the summer of two thousand and seven, I found out about this ghost town
just outside the Zion National Park in Utah. This ghost town is called Grafton.
It's been in ghost town. It finally died into a ghost town efficient
in the nineteen twenties. We get there. We've been there a few times,
so we're checking out the cemetery. The cemetery it is the definition of
a Western cemetery. It's got old headstone sandstone headstone. Each grave has a
mound you can see where the body would be would be at or at the
very back of the cemetery. At the back there is about four. There's
four Native Americans that are buried there. We saw five. I took a
picture of it. My friend he had this splashlight. There's no smartphones back
then, but used whatever camera we had on the on our cell phones at
the time. I got a picture of this. We took a picture of
the headstone. We're telling some friends about this, the grave we saw.
We went back. It was about a week or two later. What back
We could not find the headstone, the great we knew where it was at
there there was no his stone, no marker, there was no mound,
as if the grave never existed. There's no ground disturbance. Well, if
we've got the picture, that's right here, like this is not happening.
The next morning I research get on there no record of Pokem in the cemetery.
There was five there when we went there, but there was twelve four
in the records. We went back several times that year that summer. We
asked Pokem if he's around when we play it back I don't know what language
it was. I've got the EVP. I don't know if it was Native
American now Ajo, I don't know. It was like a whisper. It
was distinct. There was something there. It was whispering. It's Thursday,
it's there, and I still got that recording. I try to research and
I can't find anything how that great disappeared, but yet I've got a picture
of it or the mound disappeared. There's a couple of things that happened at
Grafton, A big old group of this one. This one time, we're
down there. It's about ten of us. We're walking out in the fields
out past the town of Grafton. We stopped. We see this it It
was white. It looked like a little kid just standing there. They're pretty
far away. It was about five hundred yards a little closer. We saw
this object just standing there. We're watching it for about thirty seconds. All
of a sudden, the object starts getting dimmer and dimmer, until eventually it
disappears. We're asking everybody, y'all see that one we saw it. I
did a bunch of a bunch of research on that. I think it could
have been one spirit of one of the girls. Two girls were swinging on
a set. It was around the eighteen eighties. They're on a swing set.
The top log collapsed, fell apart, landed on top two girls and
killed them, crushed them, kill them instantly. There's tales of two girls
their spirits one around night. We're kind of thinking that was one of the
spirits of one of the girls that we saw out there. We were in
this other house. We got into one of the one of the houses out
there and we're all one by one into the attic, start going. We
hear this sound like a piece of wood getting thrown across the road. What
in the world was that? Or friends that was with us? She just
freaked out. Just to begin with, out there, one of the other
friends that hey, oh that was me. I bumped into into some wood
and some wood took dover and she said, oh, okay whatever. Afterwards
he and Tony says, that wasn't me. There's no wood. I came
from their room. Are you kidding me? I was like, yeah,
that place has a lot of activity. It's usually at night. I've been
in more at night time than I had in the daytime. Scary, a
lot of them are just old settlers in that time, just I don't know,
just kind of hanging out. I don't think they're meaning to scare anyone.
They're just appearing. It's our human nature to be curious. Sometimes they
get what are we asked for? I samebody. We went out to this
cemetery in southern Utah. Wee at night. It's closed off at night.
We end up jumping the fence. You had to walk a little bit before
you actually made it into the cemetery. We started going, we didn't quite
make it in all the way. We're started hearing this stuff. By the
time we got to the end, we saw this thing swinging by the trees
from distance. What is that print? Tell? Then we started hearing this.
It wasn't a drum, but it was like a beat, constant beat
of someone like hitting the metal piece constantly in consistent tap. First it was
a way is away. Slowly it started coming closer and closer. We started.
I was like, okay, let's get out of here. We're running.
Then the sound it sounds like it is directly right behind us. As
they're running. We jumped the fence again to get get back out. That
sounds still behind us get in the car and iver as we get it in
this owl buzz is the windshield. This had anything to do with I don't
know what, but whatever it was, I don't I think it was letting
us know we weren't welcome. Another time, all the roommates were out town.
I was hearing a bunch of stuff around the apartment, and I started
hearing things from the kitchen. I called my mom and I said, hey,
there, if I stayed to night, it stuff starts happening over here.
She said, yeah, it's it's a spine. I'm laying on the
count. All of a sudden, the oven turned on as it started preheating
by itself. I go over, turn it off. I'm not staying at
night here and I'm by myself. I packed up some stuff just for the
night and headed over. So I think whatever whatever was over at Grafting balled
me to my home. I really experienced really much to that. They kind
of want to do to you again. Know what I want to find this
