00:00:03 Speaker 1: Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King. I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your favorite shows from the Real Housewives in Atlanta, New Jersey and my own creation, The Love and Marriage Franchise and Bell Collective. Every episode, we recap reality television from the Real Housewives Franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset, in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or scripted as well. 00:00:36 Speaker 2: Dustin, this is the last time I'll be wearing overalls. 00:00:40 Speaker 3: Yes it is. 00:00:41 Speaker 4: That's why you ain't wear nothing but overall. Okay, you said if it was if I'm wearing more overalls, I'm a bear at all under them all. 00:00:47 Speaker 2: I know that's Carlos at least. 00:00:52 Speaker 5: Come on, we go through these ye yeah, Well a Diana moment. 00:00:58 Speaker 3: Yeah, yep, yep, yep. 00:01:00 Speaker 4: And if I was there, I'd do to Diana. 00:01:06 Speaker 5: You know, already spreading rumors about. 00:01:07 Speaker 3: Being Yeah, it wouldn't let them talk. What did James L. 00:01:12 Speaker 5: Jones saying you mean Angel Massy or. 00:01:17 Speaker 3: Now see here you go be a mercurio. 00:01:20 Speaker 2: I love her, Hey a Joel, I love you. She knows that although I don't think she like I used the music. But it's all fun. I mean, in a world filled with so much controversy, let's have fun. 00:01:36 Speaker 4: We have to well, and it's specifically in her case, and I don't care no more because the season is over. We had to laugh to keep from crying, so of course we made jokes and shit. 00:01:46 Speaker 3: Otherwise, if we sat in the fucking doom and gloom of. 00:01:50 Speaker 4: The experience that we were having, I think our take would be a little bit different. So I'm sick of the motherfucker's sucking on me because I might not read the comments, but you know, my cousins be down in there and they'd be running back to me with screenshots and names and all that shit. You know what I'm saying. So y'all can be mad at me all you want. I don't care. Angel was not exciting for me. 00:02:13 Speaker 2: Well, I was gonna say, we'll discuss that guy's bunday. Yeah, mother, than I like Dustin, I gotta tell you this now. I'll tell you more on Monday. I just got back today. This week, I was in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Nashville for the nine Carlos tour. Yes, and when I say to you Dustin and and again, I'll repeat this on Monday with the for the girls to here. Mother and I Live is like everybody's favorite show. I could not get enough. 00:02:49 Speaker 5: Of people screaming about it. Your name, Dustin. Listen. I don't know if you know this, but I'm here to tell you this. 00:02:59 Speaker 2: Your is fan base of people who like you intimately. Yes, the guys, but women, Dustin. They want a piece of you. 00:03:16 Speaker 4: To tell you that what a compliment, because it's no, it's scientifically and statistically proving that women are smarter than men, they smarter than us. So if that's the if I'm the choice, if I'm the look Carlos, if I'm Sophie's choice, you know what I'm saying, then guess what? 00:03:36 Speaker 3: Good for me? 00:03:37 Speaker 6: Thank you, ladies, good for you, Good for so listen, I know they're saying that America's heart throb is Rob, but no, the title girls with Dustin Ross. 00:03:48 Speaker 2: So again, we will talk more about that on Monday on my YouTube channel. 00:03:54 Speaker 5: But we got to get into this double header. 00:03:58 Speaker 2: Okay, not double this thing, a double hitter, that is the Traders for Dali. In addition to the reunion that said, and then there were. 00:04:15 Speaker 4: Five and then there were five Yes, it was you know for me, Carlos, I ate strawberry bond bonds in my mind and drank champagne as I was watching this episode and watching them go down in flames. That's what they are. I'm gonna show you my notes just so you know that this is real. I'm gonna show you what my notes. Look with my notes for this episode. Say at the top of Carlos. 00:04:41 Speaker 7: That's exactly what all they You do, say now, sir, okay. 00:04:53 Speaker 4: As soon as they this is where I feel like Whoopy Goldberg must have been on set with her her fingers extended, telling them everything you did to them done. 00:05:03 Speaker 3: To you, because that's literally what happened. 00:05:05 Speaker 4: As soon as they did Natalie wrong and flipped on her at that table, Tara, Johnny, Eric, and Moral, all of them went down one by one for doing dirty and it was so beautiful because in each case it was like, nope, you was willing to flip on her. Now look look what's happening to you, and none of them could believe it. So that was beautiful and poetic for me to watch. 00:05:31 Speaker 3: I enjoyed. 00:05:32 Speaker 4: I was like, nope, get them, get both they asses get them, get them, get them, get them. It was great to me. 00:05:37 Speaker 2: No, I think, listen, I will go and record by saying this. I know there's a lot of people online who I'm not gonna say. 00:05:46 Speaker 5: A lot I'm giving them too much. 00:05:48 Speaker 2: There's a couple of people online saying this was the worst season of Traders, and I think a lot of that have to deal with the fact that you know, Rob how smarted people and dustin't I for the first time watching this show. I watched the finale as a producer. Okay, no, because I don't watch TVs producer unless there's something that I recognize, and I'll tell you Claudia and Blue about on Mondays. 00:06:19 Speaker 5: But last night I sat in my hotel room, I did my show with Nini. 00:06:24 Speaker 2: I'm like, Carlos King, stay off Twitter, just stay off social media. And before I went to bid, I'm like, you at least have to watch the finale. I watched the finale and in my room, I'm like, I don't think I gave this season enough credit because what that finale displayed to me, truly was I appreciated Rob and I appreciated this nuance of him and Mara being like this Ross and Rachel old friends. 00:07:02 Speaker 5: Do they or aren't they in a relationship? Dating? 00:07:06 Speaker 2: Sleep like it was it was, and listen, I'm all over I'm all over the place because there's no real recap. But the face of disappointment that Mara had when Rob revealed he was a trader, wasn't It reminded me of one of my shows when a person finds out that my man cheated had a baby, I'm going to divorce. It was that that shock value. And in that moment, Dustin I said, I may not have watched the other seasons, but I'm gonna go on record saying this was cinema because it was. It was emotional and the reason why there's some people who are saying it's the worst season. Good that you feel that way only because it shows me as a producer, the producers did a fantastic job igniting something and you emotionally that you cared so much to hate it does that? 00:08:07 Speaker 4: It makes perfect sense to me. It made you You're you're saying that people were made to feel something, which is the goal of art, right, and this is entertainment, this is the arts, that's what this is. 00:08:18 Speaker 3: You know that was a reach, but that's what it is, you know what I'm saying. 00:08:22 Speaker 4: And further to that, man, shout out to the producers because they definitely put a hell of a story together in this episode, right with the highs, the lows, the anticipation, the us you know, hanging on with baited breath, you know, waiting on, waiting to see the other shoe drop and find out what's gonna happen next. 00:08:40 Speaker 3: That was riveting. 00:08:41 Speaker 4: That was exciting to watch as a viewer, and so job well done to those producers. As far as the game itself, Delicious is the only word that I can use to describe Maura and Eric's faces cracking in this episode tonight delicious. Eric thought that he We'll get to Eric in a minute. Maura just knew that her and her raw it kind of her. She knew, She knew that her locked in you hear me. She really thought that they was Jack and Jill about to go up the hill. She got hit with a pail of water when he told her, I am and always have been a trader. 00:09:25 Speaker 5: It was always happened for me. 00:09:28 Speaker 3: She ain't know what to do. She did you see? 00:09:30 Speaker 4: You saw everything drained from her face, Yes, drained her hair was already bone straight and got straighter somehow. You know what I'm saying when he said that shit drek, because her ass literally dropped into the arch of her feet when he said that. You know what I'm saying, and that was just beautiful, beautiful. That's what you get. You turned on everybody, you when you you turned on Eric right and around before that. 00:09:55 Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, promising him like I promise you, I got your back. 00:10:00 Speaker 5: You're not better than. 00:10:00 Speaker 4: Rob, who actually shout out to Rob, because one thing that we have to say, Rob won this game, fair and fucking square. He literally played a great game. And while he might not have been who we wanted to win if we could have chosen the winner, there was literally no one more fit to win this game than him. 00:10:22 Speaker 3: And you cannot hate on that. You can't take that away from him. 00:10:26 Speaker 4: You can call him whatever you want to call him, but all of his dirty, deceitful deeds were done in the name of. 00:10:31 Speaker 3: Advancing his game. 00:10:32 Speaker 4: And that's why every motherfucker that was on the screen was there in the first place. So boo on them if they didn't choose to do it and take the initiative and take advantage of the opportunities to have smart gameplay. 00:10:44 Speaker 3: They were still doing dumb. They was playing so stupid. 00:10:48 Speaker 4: Even in this last episode Carlos king when they was outside getting ready to do the mission and about to pick who was going up on the helicopter. 00:11:00 Speaker 3: Yeah, it's gotta be you. It's it's made for you all. It's gotta be you two. Are you out your goddamn mine? 00:11:07 Speaker 4: If there has ever been a term to divide them motherfuckers up and get in their. 00:11:12 Speaker 3: Heads, it's now what are y'all even doing? I just what are you okay? 00:11:17 Speaker 2: So listen, you are a faithful puntented of viewer of traders. What was it about rob and Morow that is it's it's sort of like, hey, listen, chan to maun black mamas, black. 00:11:37 Speaker 5: Mamas when it comes to their boys, they boys wrong. There could be some Veillian's footage. 00:11:42 Speaker 2: Of the of the Sun Robber the Bank of El Say, I don't know he has a double ganger. 00:11:46 Speaker 5: That could be Booky who like they can the It was. 00:11:52 Speaker 2: My point is it's sort of like turning a blind eye, like there's just no way in hell it could be this person. Have you ever seen faithfuls be so blinded by one person, because I haven't seen. 00:12:05 Speaker 4: That ever, No, not in any of my previous seasons. Both of them are attractive, both of them have a mysterious you know, they have mystique. Both of them have that, and so I think that that was just persuasive and influential in the house. They could just persuade other people through charisma essentially right and mystery. They were able to persuade people to think differently about situations that they goddamn knew better. When Johnny left, he said Eric and Rob are the traders in his exit interview, So that means that he was aware upon the time that he was leaving they still turned on Natalie. You know what I'm saying, It's just a lot of things that have happened where these people, like you said, have been having a complete blind eye. They were not even entertaining the idea of Rob being a trader up until it was too late, quite literally. 00:13:00 Speaker 5: Yeah. 00:13:00 Speaker 2: Yeah, And one thing Rob did say, which is why I gotta give him his props, because I would have the same thought. 00:13:09 Speaker 5: He said, why. 00:13:09 Speaker 2: Would I forfeit my opportunity of winning hundreds of thousands of dollars just for people I met three weeks ago. 00:13:18 Speaker 3: Right, would you give some money you made three weeks ago one hundred thousand dollars? I wouldn't. 00:13:22 Speaker 4: That's what he said them here, yeah, life, Yeah, and guess what dustin. 00:13:26 Speaker 3: Points we made? 00:13:29 Speaker 4: And guess what else, Carlos he didn't because he went that whole pot by himself. Okay, why would Eric even think as a trader, Why would he even think that Rob was gonna take him with him. You should have been trying to get rid of Rob your damn self as soon as you got in that turret. But you were stupid because he was not gonna take you to the only people that go to the end together are the faithful people. Every trader is trying to get everybody else out so that they can keep on the money for themselves. You fool, he was, She was a fool. Eric was a fool. They was damn fools. And Johnny and Terror. They was fools on ice. You know what I'm saying. That's what they were. So they was all fools. Man, it was all fools. That's what they were, man, Damn fools, fool these fools on Ice. They were coming in that Johnny came in that last breakfast dumb as hell. Hello everyone, you know what I'm saying. Walking in that breakfast, I'm like, you fool, you need to be starting at this table. I'm coming in here to eat, but I don't trust narrow one of y'all, and me and Terror are gonna get y'all asses out of here because I know y'all traders. 00:14:44 Speaker 3: Let's talk about you. I would have started. 00:14:45 Speaker 4: Every table would have been round if it was up to me, Every table, I said that would have been a round table. Carlos, I would have been going in and interrogating motherfuckers and planning seeds and trying my best because they were literally at the like like Alan said, they were on the precipice of the motherfucking game of winning the game. 00:15:05 Speaker 3: All you have to do is win it. 00:15:07 Speaker 4: So take advantage of every moment to persuade the few people that's left to go with what you're saying so you can get their asses out of here. 00:15:15 Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, it was. It was. It was shocking to even see how. 00:15:23 Speaker 2: Tara, sorry Tara, she really tried to convince Mara like I think I think I think Tara was like, look, I know this bitch ain't about to vote off Rob, like I ain't about to fight that battle. I know that's a losing battle there. She's into him. It is what it is. Let me at least convince you of Eric and more how her moments were. I thought she'd be she could be convinced, but ultimately every cliffhanger was was rested on her vote, and her vote were so predictable that ultimately she. 00:16:03 Speaker 5: Got what she wanted, which was the end with Rob. 00:16:06 Speaker 2: But let me ask you this, why do you think Eric at the last roundtable decided to say Rob's. 00:16:14 Speaker 3: Name because he didn't have any other choice. 00:16:20 Speaker 4: Eric is not smart, and so he was trying to like figure out things in the moment when he was in crisis as opposed to being strategic the moment. 00:16:30 Speaker 3: That he got invited to be a trader. 00:16:32 Speaker 4: One thing about Rob, he played the longest of long games this entire season. There was no move that he was making that was predicated on off of just emotion in the moment or every move he made was logical. 00:16:46 Speaker 3: That's where Eric fucked up. 00:16:47 Speaker 4: Once he sees Rob flat out urn, it wasn't enough for him to know, hey, I'm on this game show called the called The Traders, where essentially we're all on a selfish pursuit and if I have an opportunity to eliminate him, I need to do that because he already was gonna eliminate me anyway. 00:17:03 Speaker 3: He was a Trader first. Eric's whole head wasn't in the game. He thinking, he got a damn. 00:17:08 Speaker 4: He's so happy to be and excited to be friends with the cool guy, you know what I'm saying, and be with him and act like he's better than everybody else. That's where he fucked up. It was so many times in this episode that Eric's behavior was in complete contrast of who he showed himself to be. When it was exposed that he was going home and had gotten played, right when he got played, it's, oh my god, I trusted y'all, and I am really hurt. I trusted y'all. I'm so hurt. Mind you, I'm in my house, rolling mouth all backing up at the television and he talking about he hurt. But at the beginning of this episode, when they murdered Mark, when him and Eric, him and Rob murdered Mark, they homeboy and their own friend. When he walked in that casket. Eric was sitting up there. Miss you man, you was alright with the bullshit then, you know what I'm saying. Then the next day they get to breakfast, he was the first one to bring up Marx murder at the time. 00:18:12 Speaker 3: So that was really wild. 00:18:14 Speaker 4: Marx murder last night, right, Wow, I mean, I'm just there's no way that I could just you know. 00:18:19 Speaker 3: Then I know I'm rambling. 00:18:21 Speaker 4: But such he's so full of shit to me in his exit interview, in his confessionals, as he's talking about the fact that the jig was up and he figured out that Rob was playing him because he was going home flying by ear. 00:18:38 Speaker 3: But anyway, have you heard anyway? 00:18:46 Speaker 5: I heard a word? 00:18:50 Speaker 3: He flew like a bird. 00:18:51 Speaker 1: Anyway, this is reality with the King, and I'm Carlos King. 00:18:57 Speaker 2: Let's get back into the show. 00:19:00 Speaker 4: When he's in the exit interview, he's saying, you know, I just there's just certain things that I just cannot do as a person. 00:19:08 Speaker 3: I just would feel bad as a person for doing that. What they did. 00:19:11 Speaker 8: You just did it to Mark, to Natalie, to talk Tara, to everybody else you could get a chance to. You gotta smirk on your face at Kristen and Kristen who probably could have whooped your ass. That actually would have been a good little you know, her little one, a little ted I tech Kristen versus Eric. I wouldn't watch that, but anyway, you know what I'm saying, Like I just he really irritated me the most because he seemed the most deceitful, the most sneaky and corrupt. He's the worst kind because the minute he got a taste of that power and greed and saw a foreseeable wind in his view, in his eye line, he turned into a heartless, careless bastard after professing to be the exact opposite. 00:19:55 Speaker 4: And to me them the worst kind of fucking people. And experiments like this really show who you are as a person because you don't know no better. 00:20:03 Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's how I feel. 00:20:07 Speaker 5: It's true. 00:20:08 Speaker 2: Like I don't feel sorry for him at all, Like, like not even a little bit. 00:20:14 Speaker 4: You know what you're gonna do when you hear you say that, Carlos when he watched the video, He's gonna do what he does. He raises his eyebrows and acts like he can't, but he's surprising. That's what he do every time so when you say that, that's exactly. 00:20:34 Speaker 2: Do they watched it? Since Rob left the comment under our posts us. 00:20:38 Speaker 3: Say hey Rob, whatever Rob, you played the fun out your game. 00:20:40 Speaker 5: Bro. 00:20:43 Speaker 2: So again going back to the end, right, So of course it was predictable up until like, look it was. It was a predictable finale. They tried their best to cliffhang a lot on Mars voat. We knew she was to go against the So that was that Johnny Boom, Terror boom, Eric boom, and it's her and Rob and she really does think like we are the faithfuls. 00:21:10 Speaker 5: They're gonna do it it. 00:21:13 Speaker 2: The reason why I will always say this was so well done and cinematic is because the shock on Mar's face was television gold. It was it was, it was television gold. 00:21:27 Speaker 5: And you saw Dustin. 00:21:32 Speaker 2: I've never seen anybody go from excited to sad within one second. And the fact that her response was you're never going to get a girlfriend because you're a good liar unless it's me. 00:21:49 Speaker 5: Dustin, and maybe it is, Maybe it is. 00:21:53 Speaker 2: I felt like, and I don't think of a minute, So I think Rob does a kiss and tell I definitely think they hooked up. 00:22:01 Speaker 5: I think I think something happened in the bathroom. I think I they she was. 00:22:07 Speaker 2: Into him, and and and and there's not one person who could convince. 00:22:12 Speaker 5: Me that, why are you playing a game? 00:22:14 Speaker 2: And your natural reaction is you're never gonna have a girlfriend because you're such a good liar. It's like it was hurt on a personal level because she was attracted to him. 00:22:26 Speaker 3: I agree. 00:22:26 Speaker 4: I think they definitely had chemistry for sure, and I think that they flirted with each other, And I think that she was interested in the idea. It seemed based on her behavior and things like the way that she would look at him and uh, even when he would present her with an opportunity to do something sneaky or naughty that would go against. 00:22:47 Speaker 3: How she had played as a faithful so far. 00:22:50 Speaker 4: She would do things with her facial expressions where she would like go no, and then like smile and look up at him, you know what I'm saying, in a conspiratorial way. 00:22:58 Speaker 3: So there were. 00:23:00 Speaker 4: Things that would lead us to believe that they definitely had some sort of chemistry beyond just being players of the same game, you know what I'm saying. And why would you even be thinking about him dating a girl not being able to date a girl, because why are you even thinking about his character in this moment and all that you just lost almost a quarter of a million dollars. You know what I'm saying, you're thinking about this motherfucking not having a girlfriend moving forward. 00:23:30 Speaker 3: That lets us know what your mind was on, Solt. 00:23:31 Speaker 4: But listen, there are two people that obviously find each other attractive. They in the house, they're grown, That's exactly what they're supposed to be able to have the freedoms to do. 00:23:41 Speaker 3: And so if something did happen, shit, good for him. 00:23:45 Speaker 4: I know I'd have been trying to have somebody bag my pipes if I was in Scotland. You know what I'm saying, all right, man, personally you know what I'm saying, thirty days a long time. Thirty days a long time, man, I don't know, you know, three weeks in a. 00:24:16 Speaker 5: Long time, dunsting for not halfing your pipes? 00:24:19 Speaker 9: Bad. 00:24:19 Speaker 4: I gotta have pat can think about the bagpipes. Yes, my pipes. 00:24:25 Speaker 3: Bag You know what I'm saying, leave it up the dust. 00:24:33 Speaker 5: Its ally do something a little bit. And that's why this is old paturet. I love it. 00:24:37 Speaker 9: Yeah, Rob won two hundred and twenty thousand dollars, and look, it was well deserved. 00:24:52 Speaker 5: I am now an official fan of Traders. I'm gonna watch every season. 00:24:56 Speaker 2: Yes, the way he played the game, they are saying, Dustin, and you're the only person that I can ask this too, because you've been watching on since day one. 00:25:05 Speaker 5: Okay, they are saying, he's the best Traders that ever played the game. I mean. 00:25:12 Speaker 4: Uninterrupted. You know, he had an uninterrupted you know, just reign of terror on that show essentially from day one as a Trader, and nobody got in his way and survived. 00:25:24 Speaker 3: So I think that that is remarkable. 00:25:26 Speaker 4: And yes, he's one of the best to ever do it, one of the best to ever do it. 00:25:32 Speaker 2: M shout out to Rob good game. I love the love story I tried to give us with Marrow and him. I was into it. I was into it. Now we got to get into the reunion. This may be an unpopular opinion, and listen, a lot of it could be my personal bias in terms of watching reunions since I was a in obviously flavor of love reunions, you know, celebrity apprentice reunions, of course, housewives reunions, reunions I host. 00:26:09 Speaker 5: I think reunions. 00:26:10 Speaker 2: Are meant to be the most dramatic moments of television. 00:26:15 Speaker 4: I love the way you set this up. Now go ahead and let them have it, Carlos. 00:26:18 Speaker 2: I was highly underwhelmed with this reunion, and listen, I do think the producers of Traders did it intentionally to remove anything that felt to housewife dramatic what we're used to for a reunion, and they wanted to, in my opinion, protect the Emmy Award winning brand of Traders. 00:26:46 Speaker 5: This is an elevated show. We don't get down and dirty. 00:26:51 Speaker 2: But when I say to you, this could have been on Zoom, I mean, but no shade to that, because one of the best reunions in history is a Lama Housewives on Zoom. You know, so I can't even say that this could have been a postcard. I was so underwhelmed, and don't get me started dusted on the fact that why wasn't candas next to Andy when she got father. 00:27:16 Speaker 5: Than Li Serena. 00:27:17 Speaker 2: But I have to say this was the most underwhelming reunion I've ever seen based on how excellent the. 00:27:24 Speaker 4: Show was, I agree, and the people who really ruined it for me were Michael Rappaport looking haggard and disheveled with them them Ferris Bueller's last day ass clothes on. He had on and shit the breakfast club pretty and he was dressed like he was in pretty and pink. 00:27:45 Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. Sixteen candles, That's what he was dressed like. 00:27:49 Speaker 4: He got his carriages sixteen cannot carriages, baby, and if they are, hope they run over. But but then so he was up there trying to argue and live out this fantasy of arguing with a housewife if at a reunion, which is really there's a lot deeper conversation we can have about that, but this ain't that show, so let's keep it light. 00:28:07 Speaker 3: But he was really just okay. 00:28:12 Speaker 4: He was trying to argue with them women and stuff and living on this fantasy, saying clip like Derinda. But in the process of him doing that, he was over talking women, being aggressive and combatant with these women, and it just didn't land good to me. Another person who had a nasty, evil ass spirit and energy over them was Travis Kelce Mama Mama Kelsey. I didn't like how she was talking to Porsche. I didn't like that I didn't like how she was talking to Porscha. 00:28:39 Speaker 3: I didn't like her. She was too Sometimes people can exhibit. 00:28:44 Speaker 4: A willingness to be combative and confrontational that is unnecessary, and it really stands out, you know what I'm saying. It's robust, and it's fluorescent essentially right, it's easy to identify and that nasty means spirited ass edge was pregnant or was pregnant? 00:29:04 Speaker 3: Was present. 00:29:06 Speaker 5: And pregnant up. I'm not gonna say it, like. 00:29:11 Speaker 4: Go ahead, we need to record that show where we say all that stuff. 00:29:15 Speaker 3: But anyway, you could just see. 00:29:18 Speaker 4: That nasty ass mean spirit up underneath that uh whisked broom ass lamp shade wig, she bob hair she had in her head, you know what I'm saying. And she still looked like Bruce Valanche. I don't care what nobody says. She still looked just like Bruce Valanche. And I did not appreciate her energy and her spirit on that couch. I did not like how she was talking to Porsche. Porscha may have been a little bit out of her depth here, you know what I'm saying, But that's neither here nor there. Who are you to fucking tell her that and argue with Porscha's obviously trying to just engage you. 00:29:52 Speaker 3: When else would y'all be talking never? So I just didn't like that. 00:29:56 Speaker 4: I didn't like Mama Kelsey's attitude, and I damn sure didn't like Robert Michael Rappaport's attitude. 00:30:03 Speaker 3: I didn't like his either. 00:30:06 Speaker 5: Oh God, Dusta, Okay, I actually did a moment. 00:30:16 Speaker 3: Wow, Okay, that kissed me off man. 00:30:19 Speaker 5: Well, clearly you call them. 00:30:21 Speaker 3: Bruce Bruce twins. 00:30:25 Speaker 5: God, I literally must. 00:30:28 Speaker 2: Have blocked it from my memory when you said it weeks ago, just like it's the visual picture for me and in my mind, y'all, I created that's side by side photo. 00:30:42 Speaker 3: Don't make me pull them up again. 00:30:43 Speaker 5: Oh my god. 00:30:46 Speaker 4: Show y'all in case you missed it on the last episode. Let me show y'all who Mama Kelsey has looked like. Damn Now, you tell me, you tell me Mama Kelsey don't look like Bruce balance, you tell me that that's not Mama Kelsey. 00:31:01 Speaker 3: Lovest, thank you. Now you're talking shit. 00:31:05 Speaker 4: Leave Porscha alone because Porsche got her mama too, So you don't want Mama Diane to sit up there on that couch, okay, and some. 00:31:12 Speaker 3: Aloe or. 00:31:15 Speaker 4: Because you know Mama Diane, she would come up there, and some Lululemon on your ass, you know what I'm saying. And a Valenciaga sneaker with a stacked tube sock. 00:31:26 Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. Sugar, get up there. Okay. I don't like how he was talking to poorch Sean. I can't like how he was talking to poors. 00:31:36 Speaker 4: Now she did, Mama Diane don't play that ship, so she so she'll get up there on a set, a sports boss setting, some leggings and a and a zip cardigan, okay, and tear your ass up. Mama Kelsay, you watch how you talking to Porsche. I appreciate that. 00:31:54 Speaker 5: Oh my lord, Scroagy tube socks. 00:31:58 Speaker 4: Is just yeah, spruntch YouTube son and a Valenciaga sneaker and an alo Set'm Diane fine ship, y'all. 00:32:07 Speaker 2: Why be clear? 00:32:09 Speaker 5: Okay, the body's body and it's like it as everything. 00:32:12 Speaker 3: So you're watching Mama Kelse. 00:32:15 Speaker 5: Okay, Michael Rappaport, it's and listen. 00:32:22 Speaker 2: You and I are from the school of we appreciate villains, you know, like we don't mind a Billing, a jack album, a Jackie Christie. 00:32:34 Speaker 3: Yes, yes, Candice Dealer, you know what I'm saying. 00:32:41 Speaker 2: List goes on and on and on in terms of people who are seen as villains that are like listen may not like in real life. 00:32:48 Speaker 5: I don't give a fuck. On TV, you're entertaining and I'm a horror bed because it's a station. 00:32:53 Speaker 2: Yes, Michael Rappaport is so cringey and thirsty and in the words of jos Lee Hernandez, the KKH need some milk to get them bone strong. 00:33:07 Speaker 5: Okay, because I just. 00:33:15 Speaker 3: I forgot about that episode. 00:33:21 Speaker 5: Yeah, you're thirsty, thrifty all. 00:33:29 Speaker 3: What she said? 00:33:32 Speaker 4: Yeah, get a job, yes, but yes, you're one hundred percent right. 00:33:42 Speaker 5: Okay. 00:33:43 Speaker 2: We love Billings Johnson her nada naturally nude ly bitch, That's what I'm saying. I honestly I don't care to see him on TV. 00:33:58 Speaker 5: He has reached a pemicle. 00:34:01 Speaker 2: Where he's not even enjoyable to watch, to look at, to listen to. And the thing about is this, Andy actually likes him in real life and that's fine. You can even tell Andy was annoying, like why are you? In my opinion, I felt like Andy looked at Michael Rappaport and was like, what Bravo con attendee snuck in here and is living out there wildest dream of being on a reunion stage and there reciting clip clip from Derenda. 00:34:35 Speaker 4: That's what did it. That's what pissed Andy off. Right there is where he started going clip clip clip when he and he was when he didn't do it once and then laugh like it was a call back to Derenda's moment and show her some love. Yeah, he kept doing it, and it was clear that he was dead serious while he was using that word. 00:34:55 Speaker 3: That irritated Andy. 00:34:56 Speaker 4: Yes, and anyone that has worked with anytime you work with a project that is old to you but new for people over and over again, you have to experience people's reactions to something over and over again, and that can kind of get irritating. Sometimes not in a way that means anything other than it's just like anything that's repetitive, and you get too much of you tired of it at a point. Right, So, I think that people using housewives quotes, housewives lines, recalling big moments like that. Andy's probably sick of people doing that, to be honest, and so Michael Rappaport bringing those kind of antics into a space where the pros are all these people who actually make the TV and stuff, and they're not acting like that. He's acting like a person that's not used to being in the space. That was probably irritating, and you could see it on Andy's face. He was disgusted. He was irritated in the moment, That's what he was. 00:35:52 Speaker 5: Yeah, and you. 00:35:55 Speaker 2: Spelled it out in terms of I'm pretty sure every day of this man's life walking to get coffee, taking his kids' school whatever, he has to hear that. And the thing is, again, when it comes to Traders, what was obvious in this one part reunion that should have been two in the fact that they didn't want that energy to be there. They and listen, fine, I understand that from a producer's standpoint, you want your show to be set apart from housewife, although you understand the necessary evil of having housewives. 00:36:29 Speaker 5: On the show to get the viewership, but that's not hinging on there. 00:36:33 Speaker 2: You could tell Andy was annoyed by because even he as a hoes in trying. 00:36:37 Speaker 5: To set this reunion apart from his day job. 00:36:42 Speaker 2: Or somebody who he knows behave in a way where he's. 00:36:46 Speaker 3: Like, you know better exactly, like what are. 00:36:49 Speaker 5: You doing here? 00:36:50 Speaker 2: And even Porsche, who is a veteran and can't help herself giving a housewife moment, or Kansas for that matter, it at least is expected from them, right, like we expect that from them and low key we want that from them, but we don't want that from this middle age fan. And it was cringey and like you said, it's one thing to say it once you said it to Portia. To Johnny, it was I don't want to see him on Team Nomore. 00:37:27 Speaker 3: I wanted Derinda to be like, would you shut the fuck up? 00:37:31 Speaker 4: That's I wanted Derinda to start going off, you know how she started going side to side when she gave it, started going would you shut the fuck That's what I wanted her to do. I was hoping, like, please tell me Drenda about to pipe up from behind in that seat back there, But she didn't do it. And I know, listen, you heard Andy Verbatim say the words this is in the Housewives reunion. He said that to Michael on the stage. So I think you're one hundred percent right again in your expert being as a producer and a creator. 00:38:02 Speaker 3: You know that they are trying to separate. 00:38:04 Speaker 4: They're trying to have some individuality for this show that is its own thing. It's already its own, it's already huge, but they wanted to turn into a huge, you know force that is just as big as the force that is the Real Housewife. 00:38:17 Speaker 5: Yeah. 00:38:18 Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, it's the Traders. So it's its own things. So when you bring that energy and you're not a housewife, it's one thing for Portia, Derinda, Candice and Caroline to bring that energy to the stage. You're not a housewife mine. I almost called him something that he's not. You're not a housewife, Michael. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, So yeah, it just didn't work. 00:38:46 Speaker 5: No, it didn't. 00:38:47 Speaker 2: And in that moment you could tell Andy two was just like, I don't want them to think it's me. Like, even him, respectfully, he's even trying to be like, I can hold other things outside the Housewives, No, for sure, And I think that's why his annoyance was there, because it was sort of like, I also have to show the world that I can do a reunion of this caliber and not bring that Housewife's energy. But Michael failed the assignment. And that's why it's one of those things where casting directors, producers, friends. Just because somebody had a moment in time that was great doesn't mean that they have to constantly be used to be on television. I think Michael days are I do not want to see him again, and there's nothing else. He could be on Dance with the Stars. Don't thank you, honestly, Feel Factor, I don't. 00:39:46 Speaker 5: I don't give it. 00:39:46 Speaker 3: I don't want to be with the Experiments. 00:39:49 Speaker 4: If he go on Fear Factor, he gonna be right over here with them tarantas and bugs and slugs and ship and rolling around and feed and hay and all that and I saw dust. 00:40:00 Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. That's where he belongs, man, just not on my TV screen. 00:40:05 Speaker 5: That's all. 00:40:06 Speaker 2: Now, what did you think about Rob versus Canvas. I mean, look, obviously Rob is cool as a cucumber because he feels like I just I played the game well, and that's all I have to you. 00:40:21 Speaker 5: Like I played the game well. 00:40:23 Speaker 2: Canvas obviously feels hurt, as she should because he betrayed his fellow traders. One thing that Rob did say that I was like, okay, Rob, you ate my girl up a little bit. 00:40:35 Speaker 5: A little bit. 00:40:36 Speaker 2: A little bit is where he said, you didn't preserve yourself, you ended yourself. 00:40:43 Speaker 5: And I was like points made, Like points made, because at the end of the day, he knew. 00:40:54 Speaker 2: I have these people in my back pocket. So the one thing you should do, it's good on my team. And I think Candace realized at the end of the day his loyalty wasn't to her the moment he I'm sorry, the moment she. 00:41:15 Speaker 3: Said his name. That's the problem. 00:41:17 Speaker 4: The if you follow the pattern of everyone who Rob quote unquote betrayed, there was an assumption of loyalty or an assumption of allegiance that these people had when it came to him, and they should have been playing him first. 00:41:32 Speaker 3: Every single case. They should have played Rob first. 00:41:35 Speaker 4: I don't know why Lisa, Rinna, and Candace did not immediately say like okay, yep, it's the three of us and then immediately break off. All right, girl, we gotta get this other nigga up out of here. You know what I'm saying, It's just us housewives, we getting them out of here. Be cutthroat. This is the traders and that's what you have to do. And Rob was cutthroat with every single relationship he formed on it with people on their cast down to the end, down to Mora, and so that was that greatly aided him in successfully, you know, completing this game. 00:42:05 Speaker 3: And so you can't be mad at it. 00:42:07 Speaker 4: The people was looking for a friend and Rob was banting his eyes and allowing them to think they had one and then knocking them down like Domino's one after another on his way on his path to victory. 00:42:20 Speaker 3: That's just that simple. So I'm not mad at Rob at all. 00:42:24 Speaker 4: Actually he did, He quite literally did what he was supposed to do. 00:42:29 Speaker 2: Do you believe the accusation that Candace made when she said that Colton told her that Rob told him that Candace was a trader? 00:42:44 Speaker 4: Yep, because I would have told you, I mean, let's keep it real, you know what I'm saying. I definitely would have been like, you know what I'm saying, come on, you know, so, yes. 00:43:04 Speaker 3: I believe it. 00:43:05 Speaker 4: I absolutely believe it. And Colton didn't deny that, you know what I'm saying. When Candace said Colton told her that, Colton didn't deny telling him that. 00:43:13 Speaker 5: And. 00:43:15 Speaker 4: Rob never really I mean Colton didn't deny saying that Rob told him that, and Rob never really said I didn't tell him you're a trader. He just kind of reshaped the intention of the conversation. So I absolutely believe it, and Candace is hilarious for bringing it up. 00:43:33 Speaker 3: I like Candas. 00:43:34 Speaker 4: I'm just gonna tell you, like the Housewives was what it was or whatever, but this you got to see so much more of her personality the fun site like just it's just a much more clear picture of who she is. 00:43:48 Speaker 3: And I like Candace so. 00:43:52 Speaker 5: Because obviously Traders have ended. 00:43:58 Speaker 2: Obviously it goes without saying Kansas is the breakout star. 00:44:01 Speaker 5: I was just on her podcast with her and Michael. 00:44:04 Speaker 2: Shout out to my boy, Michael Arsenal Makell's toun Domesticated, and one thing we talked about was listen arguably Candas. 00:44:15 Speaker 3: Is the breakout star. 00:44:17 Speaker 2: Yeah, of Traders, and a lot of people who watch Traders do not watch Housewives. Do you think she should go back to Housewives or do you think she needs to follow different paths? You said something in terms of like there's this you know, comedic timing. She has this wittiness and you appreciate it and it's and it's fun to watch. 00:44:43 Speaker 5: Do you feel like you didn't see that on her years of being a Potomac. 00:44:47 Speaker 4: No, I didn't see it on her years of being a Potomac. But the reason looking back as a viewer, the reason we didn't get to see that from Candis is because she was defending herself against things that she. 00:45:00 Speaker 3: Had a right to, you know what I'm saying. 00:45:02 Speaker 4: And so sometimes when you're defending yourself and you clapping back at somebody, you're not going to show the best parts of you that will Well, you will to me because I like people that can tear motherfucker up. 00:45:13 Speaker 3: But for most. 00:45:15 Speaker 4: People, that's not like attractive, so you know, you don't have the appeal per se. This was a totally different environment. So what I like to see Candis go back to Potomac sure, because I think that Candas is. 00:45:27 Speaker 3: Love her hater like her on the show or not. 00:45:30 Speaker 4: She was integral to the fabric of what the Real Housewives of Potomac is today and she helped build that house one hundred percent. You can't deny that at all, And I would love to see her come back to the show. 00:45:43 Speaker 3: But I also feel like. 00:45:45 Speaker 4: She's on the brink of so many other things that if she does come back to the show, that will just be one thing in her portfolio of new projects. Because I feel like Candis is about to really be out here. She pumping her music out, and she was already making progress with that before The Traders, and so now the Traders plus the wonderful announcement we saw of her getting signed to CIA, Like, I mean, come on, which if there was, she got the ball down the court and dribbled it and shot it straight through the hoop. 00:46:16 Speaker 3: Nothing but that. 00:46:17 Speaker 4: That is what you're supposed to do with the opportunity, Like being on The Traders, you flaw, you finess that and parlay that into a bigger portal for you to walk through into other opportunities. 00:46:28 Speaker 3: And so that's literally what she did. 00:46:30 Speaker 4: She's a smart, smart woman and nobody has ever been able to take that from her. So I would love to see her come back, but I don't think that. I also am very interested to see what else she does, so I feel like she can always come back. She left such a mark on Potomac that I feel like she'll always be relevant to what's going on on that show. 00:46:53 Speaker 5: So what do you think about the other faith Folds in terms of, you know, the reunion. 00:47:05 Speaker 2: Pretty much it was about of course Rob winning him and Candace, you know, colting a Lisa Renner thing wasn't big And listen, Lisa Renna did say it got so bad he walked off set. They probably won't air it, but let me take you what happened anyway, And she was right. 00:47:21 Speaker 5: They didn't air it. 00:47:22 Speaker 2: So I felt like we didn't get a chance to see a lot from even our girl, Tiffany. I felt like I didn't hear much of my girl, who had a. 00:47:31 Speaker 5: Lot to say about how she was banished. 00:47:34 Speaker 4: Tiffany, I think out of the Faithfuls, she did get the most camera time out of like the Faithfuls. To me, she was one of the Faithfuls that got a lot of camera time. We didn't although we didn't hear a lot of her reflection on her parts. 00:47:47 Speaker 3: Of the story and her experience the camera. 00:47:51 Speaker 4: Tiffany's pretty okay, and so the camera was finding its way to her when the whole cast, the ensemble cast, was on the stage, and I was happy about that. I was happy that they kept putting the camera on her. I was happy that they were allowing some because there's some people like I don't really remember Tera and Johnny saying anything. I don't really remember Natalie saying a lot I don't really remember. I don't even remember the guy's name at first, Rod, the other Rob. 00:48:20 Speaker 3: You know, it's a lot of people I don't remember. But I remember Tiffany's dress. 00:48:23 Speaker 4: Beautiful black black dress with the sheer and the flooral. 00:48:27 Speaker 3: She had beautiful. 00:48:28 Speaker 4: Black woman hair, you know what I'm saying. She looked gorgeous and I like that. So although I wish we would have gotten more about her reflections on her experience there and her story and how she felt about them doing her wrong and how she cuts Colton's ass out at that table, I wish we could have dug deeper into that. But like you said, the reunion should have been two parts. 00:48:49 Speaker 3: It wasn't. One part was not sufficient. 00:48:51 Speaker 2: So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, So dusted. This concludes our Trader's recap. 00:48:59 Speaker 3: Thank you. 00:49:01 Speaker 5: I know, listen, my brother, I still have mine. 00:49:07 Speaker 2: But the thing is this, we will come back and do this. 00:49:13 Speaker 3: Since we will, Yes, we will, hell yeah we will. 00:49:16 Speaker 2: Okay, But before I let you go, Destin, I need your predictions Now, I'm not going to ask you to name the twenty three potential candidates will be part of the next season. But what I will ask you is this. We know that only four housewives, former or current are allowed to be on Traders. Which four housewives with Dustin Ross like to see a part of? 00:49:50 Speaker 5: And I'll tell you mine. 00:49:51 Speaker 4: Too, Kenya Moore, Meredith Mars. Okay, I got two more, yeap, Ebony K. Williams, and my fourth one for Traders would be damn. Let me think of somebody who would be good but not necessarily smartest because we need a little of that, you know what I mean. Marlow Hampton, Marlow Hampton, Marlo Hampton. Yeah, so, Kenya Moore, Meredith Marxby, Ebony K. 00:50:36 Speaker 3: Williams. I love you, Ebony and Marlon Hampton. Yeah that's good. 00:50:42 Speaker 5: I'm a good lad. That's a good lad. Okay. So that's Dustin's list. 00:50:46 Speaker 2: All right, here's Carlos King's list of the four housewives that I would like to see on season. 00:50:52 Speaker 3: Five, former or current. 00:50:55 Speaker 5: Okay, yes, I need you to say yes. This time. 00:51:03 Speaker 2: She was supposed to be a listen sidebar. I hope y'all realized Nimi was supposed to be on this season. Now, what I'm not gonna do is tell y'all who replaced her. I'll tell you Dustin, which is easy to predict. Okay, Now I would say Ninny Leaks Preston Men called from Beverly Hills. 00:51:26 Speaker 3: Yes, wonderful choice, right. 00:51:29 Speaker 2: I think she'll be very sly smart all the things. Okay, my third choice, I gotta take one from Dustin because I'm like smart play BDK. 00:51:42 Speaker 3: Williams, Yes, Lord, she will wear that round table. 00:51:47 Speaker 6: I was I was about to say he will read. 00:51:53 Speaker 2: Down at the round table. So I'm still more from Dustin. That was a good one. 00:51:59 Speaker 5: I did think about that. K Williams. Ye, Dafflation should be on that one for sure. 00:52:07 Speaker 2: And I actually agree with dus on the fourth one. 00:52:11 Speaker 4: Yeah, Kenya Moore one percent, So she needs to come back. I got to watch your show, the next show that you do with those those really smart attorneys that you do the legal news with. Oh yeah, what are their names too, Carlos, I don't want to know. 00:52:27 Speaker 5: We got judged Tyranny and Courtney Marker. 00:52:30 Speaker 4: Both of them are brilliant. I want to see y'all talk about this new development with the britt Edie shit and how Yeah, So I'm interested in. Yeah, I'm interested in I figured y'all were going to pick that up, and I'm interested in seeing them break that down because i want to know what that means about what happens next for Kenya, what that means about BRIT's connection to the Bravo. 00:52:53 Speaker 3: VERSU and all that other stuff. So I'll be watching it. 00:52:56 Speaker 2: Well, thank you for that. And the reason why I'm so thrilled old to have it broken down for me too, it's because Brit dropped the lawsuit in New York and I want to say what she did was refound on the federal level in Georgia. If I'm not mistaken, and I may, I may have all that wrong, but my point is Juste Tiranny is a sitting Atlanta judge. Okay, so even Georgia law she's able to break it down for us. And I am confused about why it was dropped, but she also brought this into it. 00:53:37 Speaker 5: I'm lost, and I know a lot of people are trying to make. 00:53:39 Speaker 2: Sense of it, but no, I want Judge Tyranny to break it down in terms of like what this really means, why she did it? 00:53:47 Speaker 5: This way. 00:53:48 Speaker 2: What are her plans that we can sort of like predict exactly. 00:53:51 Speaker 4: Yeah, so yeah, we got to find out what the hell is going on. So I'll be tuning in and I know the oscars are coming up. I can't wait to find and I want to award season recap from you and marlow anyway about all the award seasons fashions and shit. I want to deep dive then marlow fashion episodes need to be like an hour and a half long. I have notes, So I'm just gonna I'm just gonna text you. 00:54:14 Speaker 5: For always, text me you know, I love you. Listen getting know from you everything. 00:54:20 Speaker 3: Because I love you too, because I'll be watching that shit and I love it. So that's what I'm saying. My note is that I want more. 00:54:26 Speaker 5: Yeah. 00:54:26 Speaker 2: No, well, I appreciate that Marlowe is folly back up in Atlanta. 00:54:32 Speaker 5: She turned fifty, which is a milestone. 00:54:35 Speaker 3: Looking good at hell, by the way. 00:54:36 Speaker 2: Looking amazing. So marlow was on a world tour celebrating her birthday. She literally doesn't text me today and saying okay, baby, I'm back. 00:54:45 Speaker 4: We'll be doing okay, good good good good. Yeah, we want a whole recap you know, it's been a lot of stuff. 00:54:53 Speaker 3: I want to. 00:54:53 Speaker 4: I want to know what she thought about Portia's Traders dress. I want to know what she thought about canvases traders dress for the reunion. 00:55:00 Speaker 3: I want to. 00:55:00 Speaker 4: I really want to know what she thought about Mora's Traders dress for the reunion. 00:55:04 Speaker 3: So it'll be interesting to see. Look, I'll be watching. 00:55:07 Speaker 5: I love you for a brother. 00:55:09 Speaker 3: I love you too, Man and gods. 00:55:11 Speaker 2: You'll be watching us on Monday Night Live. Okay, we are back on Monday.
