<v Speaker 1>Listen is WWE superstar Drew McIntyre and you're listening to <v Speaker 1>the WWE podcast show. <v Speaker 2>The one that everybody wants met for sixteen So that <v Speaker 2>just well your ass, this is mind. <v Speaker 1>You can acknowledge me. <v Speaker 3>Good day everyone, and thank you. Fortuning into this week's <v Speaker 3>SmackDown review, I'm your host, Daniel, filling in still for Amanda, <v Speaker 3>who's taking leave last week as well as this week. <v Speaker 3>She'll be returning to reviews spackdel for you as normal <v Speaker 3>next week, so this will be I guess, my second <v Speaker 3>and last episode filling in the role here and really <v Speaker 3>excited to come back on for the second time and <v Speaker 3>give my takes on a pretty event for SmackDown this week. <v Speaker 3>So without further ado, let's just get underway before that, though, <v Speaker 3>if you haven't done so yet, please subscribe wherever you <v Speaker 3>get your podcasts on the ww podcast network or we <v Speaker 3>do weekly reviews across all the WWE brands. So yeah, <v Speaker 3>I guess, Yet, without further ado, the show kicks off <v Speaker 3>with a preview to last week of basically what happened <v Speaker 3>within the blood lines, the new and the original blood lines, <v Speaker 3>obviously the original blood line being severely undermanned, as we <v Speaker 3>saw the new blood Line attacking and brutalizing both Jimmy <v Speaker 3>Us and Roman reigns. So looks like there's going to <v Speaker 3>be some Ford proceeedings, especially with what happened on Raw <v Speaker 3>Jimmy coming over to Raw and trying to convince his <v Speaker 3>twin brother Jayus to again reunite with the blood Line <v Speaker 3>and SmackDown as you have probably seen, kind of it <v Speaker 3>goes into that and explains the storyline a little bit <v Speaker 3>more so after that preview of what we've seen we <v Speaker 3>did Backdown and Raw, we get Solo to call and <v Speaker 3>making his entrance to the ring, joined by his Boline <v Speaker 3>companions Jacob Fatu as well as both tag team champions <v Speaker 3>Tomatunga and Tangalore. As Solo does, he begins with the <v Speaker 3>crowd and asks them to acknowledge and was massively boot here. <v Speaker 3>And I think we don't give enough credit to how <v Speaker 3>Solo kind of controls the crowd. We know obviously he's <v Speaker 3>not the original tribal chief or the only tribal chief, <v Speaker 3>but he does a really good job in playing that <v Speaker 3>role very well as the tribe the fake tribal chief, <v Speaker 3>and you can see all the fans are very I <v Speaker 3>guess bitter to how he he explains himself. So really <v Speaker 3>got to give Solo credit to how he has controlled <v Speaker 3>the crowd as a I guess fill in or came <v Speaker 3>out tribal chief as we like to call. He then <v Speaker 3>goes on to mention that people better get used to <v Speaker 3>seeing him because you are looking at the present and <v Speaker 3>the future. He also said that you're looking at the <v Speaker 3>childbal truth and said that he's created a bigger and <v Speaker 3>stronger blood line. Then Solo claims that Roman and Jimmy <v Speaker 3>us can't do anything about it, and Solo mentioned that <v Speaker 3>especially jay Uso didn't want anything to do with Jimmy <v Speaker 3>and Jimmy and Roman are the original bloodline members obviously <v Speaker 3>because of the events that to have transplied in the past, <v Speaker 3>going on to kind of I guess examine the flight <v Speaker 3>the fact that no one wants to smoke with with <v Speaker 3>the new blood line. The fans start chanting yea as <v Speaker 3>soon as they hear Solo obviously mentioned his name, and <v Speaker 3>in Solo then obviously replies no. Ye. He does mention <v Speaker 3>that unless Roman remains comes to the ring and says <v Speaker 3>that he acknowledges him tonight at this will continue to <v Speaker 3>again happen a week on week. We then get a <v Speaker 3>massive surprise personally, it was a big surprise and was <v Speaker 3>a great surprise if I'm honest, Jay uson making his entrance, <v Speaker 3>and you could see the crowd was also surprised due <v Speaker 3>to the massive pop that he received from the fans there. <v Speaker 3>He didn't make the entrance walking through the backstage. I <v Speaker 3>do kind of like when he walks through the crowd. <v Speaker 3>I feel like he gives that kind of better experience <v Speaker 3>and more personal experience with the crowd, allowing them to guess, <v Speaker 3>engage and go forward with the yeat chance. So he <v Speaker 3>obviously makes his entrance down to the ring. The funny <v Speaker 3>part for me, and what Wade, Barrett and Corga has <v Speaker 3>mentioned is Solo allowing jayu So to kind of complete <v Speaker 3>his entrance, which would have been very annoying for them <v Speaker 3>obviously seeing him just kind of get the whole crowd <v Speaker 3>to do yeats right in front of their face, and <v Speaker 3>that was probably not the best start that I think <v Speaker 3>Jay would have wished for in terms of aggregating Solo there. <v Speaker 3>But he does mention that he doesn't want to fight him. <v Speaker 3>He then says at the end of the day, he <v Speaker 3>still cares about Solo since it's his brother. After that, <v Speaker 3>he goes on too to mentioning that he was here <v Speaker 3>one on one, Jay told Solo to think about what <v Speaker 3>he was doing to the family and to the bloodline. <v Speaker 3>Jay also said nobody has bigger issues with Rahmon rains <v Speaker 3>at himself, which is deemingly obvious. But dividing the family <v Speaker 3>like this, ain't it? <v Speaker 1>So? <v Speaker 3>I think Jay USO's gone with a bit of a <v Speaker 3>peacemaker vibe at the moment, trying to kind of ease <v Speaker 3>the tensions between the new and the old bloodline. I <v Speaker 3>guess it does make sense since he's not really involved <v Speaker 3>or in master of anyone at this stage, that's obviously <v Speaker 3>subject a due to change in the future as well. <v Speaker 3>He then goes to mention that he left to be <v Speaker 3>his own man, left to become the Intercontinental Championship of Champion, <v Speaker 3>and Jay said that fighting over the Ulafa is not here. <v Speaker 3>He did say that it is earned, it's not taken, <v Speaker 3>and that Solo should know that as well, and if <v Speaker 3>he does want to end Roman's power, he shouldn't do <v Speaker 3>it by I guess dividing the family here. I really <v Speaker 3>like this angle because I feel like since Roman Rains <v Speaker 3>has returned, there hasn't really been much discussions between the <v Speaker 3>blood lines cousin to cousin. It does kind of bring <v Speaker 3>in that family feel that. I guess Jay Uso is <v Speaker 3>trying to get solid to think about here what he's <v Speaker 3>doing to the family and what he's in acting, but <v Speaker 3>it seems that Solo doesn't really care. He mentions that <v Speaker 3>if Jay was done wasting his time. Solo then said <v Speaker 3>he's trying to actually reunite the family, not divide the family. <v Speaker 3>But I think his actions them otherwise since he's non <v Speaker 3>stop been attacking both Jimmy and Roman. But he now <v Speaker 3>then mentions that he has a place for Jay and <v Speaker 3>Roman in the blood line if they both acknowledge him. <v Speaker 3>Solo didn't want to, obviously follow in Jimmy's footsteps, his <v Speaker 3>look what happened and look what happened to him in <v Speaker 3>the past. Obviously Solo had to fee him. After WrestleMania, <v Speaker 3>he then asked Jay if he's in or ounce. Jay <v Speaker 3>then responds to mention that if Solo is really trying <v Speaker 3>to bring the blood line back together and united the <v Speaker 3>original blood line, why did Solo have to bring in <v Speaker 3>all the New Bloodline members, the Tongans, and Jacob Fattou. <v Speaker 3>He then goes to say that he doesn't like the <v Speaker 3>way that Jacob Fattoo is looking at him, and it <v Speaker 3>brings up a little bit of attention there. It kind <v Speaker 3>of makes it interesting because I guess Jacob Fattou is <v Speaker 3>kind of the wild card in this one because he <v Speaker 3>is technically cousins if everyone, but he's been a late <v Speaker 3>addition to the fold and we are, I guess, keen <v Speaker 3>on seeing what Jacob Fatu can do against the likes <v Speaker 3>of Roman Raines, and we haven't really saw how him <v Speaker 3>and jay Usa have gone face to fade. I kind <v Speaker 3>of would like to see a match between them, maybe <v Speaker 3>in the future for the Intercontinental title, but I doubt <v Speaker 3>that will be the case, but a match between the <v Speaker 3>two would be would be rather interesting. In my opinion. <v Speaker 3>I'm a big fan of Jacob Fattou and his earring ability, <v Speaker 3>and I think that he's underutilized on the MIC, and <v Speaker 3>I feel like once he starts getting those those lines <v Speaker 3>and those bookies to run some promos, I think he's <v Speaker 3>going to do a really a really, really good job. <v Speaker 3>He then mentions that if he sees Solo next time. <v Speaker 3>It's definitely going to be different than leaving the ring, <v Speaker 3>which kind of was a bit interesting to me. I'm <v Speaker 3>not sure where Jay's kind of alluding to there. He <v Speaker 3>has mentioned that he doesn't want to hurt or be <v Speaker 3>involved with Jimmy and Roman. We obviously know that's going <v Speaker 3>to probably happen soon, and I think based on this <v Speaker 3>kind of this kind of altercation between the two, not <v Speaker 3>really an altercation, but this dialogue, it does seem that <v Speaker 3>Jayus has given the Bloodline a reason to kind of <v Speaker 3>get him involved as well, appends potentially now coming on <v Speaker 3>Raw and I think costing him the title Monday Night Raw, <v Speaker 3>because if you really look at Jayus, I didn't really <v Speaker 3>need to be out there. There was no real reason <v Speaker 3>for him to come out and speak to the Bloodline <v Speaker 3>on back down. So I guess that kind of leads <v Speaker 3>into what Solo is probably going to do on Monder <v Speaker 3>that Raw against Ron Breaker when they fight for the title. <v Speaker 3>There is obviously the bigger picture of the blood Line <v Speaker 3>civil war, and we're definitely looking into that now since <v Speaker 3>Jay's get involved, and what better to get I guess <v Speaker 3>more motivated to go against Solo's Bloodline if they were <v Speaker 3>to cost him the title as well. We then get <v Speaker 3>the first of two Triple Thread tag team matches. The <v Speaker 3>winner of each goes into a final round next week <v Speaker 3>on Spackdown to again be the number one contender for <v Speaker 3>the Tag Team Champions. So we've got in the first <v Speaker 3>tag team match pretty deadly with Alton Prince and Kit Wilson, <v Speaker 3>one of the Mansa's favorites, obviously being a British tag team. <v Speaker 3>The Street Profits montes Ford and Angela Dowkins as well <v Speaker 3>as d Timasa Chamber and Jennie. The winners of this match, <v Speaker 3>as mentioned, will face the other winners of the Triple <v Speaker 3>Threat match, which we'll reviewed later in the show. We <v Speaker 3>did see the Street Profits being the only team to <v Speaker 3>get an entrance here, which was quite interesting. Maybe they <v Speaker 3>didn't have time to show all the entrances there. From <v Speaker 3>the match was pretty good. We did see some good <v Speaker 3>combinations between all the tag teams. I really love the <v Speaker 3>jump from montes Fort over the top of the sum <v Speaker 3>sort and it was just the landing that kind of <v Speaker 3>made it much better than then expected, especially since he <v Speaker 3>landed straight on two feet statically and it just was <v Speaker 3>was We also did see that pretty unique code breakup <v Speaker 3>from the Pretty Deadly guys as well. It was funny <v Speaker 3>to see how Pretty Deadly depicted in this match. He <v Speaker 3>could obviously depict that they were going to be the <v Speaker 3>team that was going to run away and do the <v Speaker 3>dirty tactics, so it was good to see. I'm kind <v Speaker 3>of a good fan of Pretty Deadly. I do like <v Speaker 3>the kind of gimmick and the way they roll about things. <v Speaker 3>It's good to have a different taste in the tag <v Speaker 3>team and division as well, especially with the OL and <v Speaker 3>the Street Profits. I feel like I've seen them so <v Speaker 3>many times to a point where I kind of like <v Speaker 3>the new adding Pretty Deadly to this to this fold <v Speaker 3>there the match does and with the I winning the <v Speaker 3>match due to the fact that they pinned the legal <v Speaker 3>Man as obviously he saw Street Profits and the il <v Speaker 3>White both similar bbcously tagging each member of Pretty Deadly. <v Speaker 3>The ref obviously doing a really good job there in <v Speaker 3>identifying the true winner, and I guess it did leave <v Speaker 3>the crowd a very confusing, very confused, sorry, but I <v Speaker 3>guess it was the right way to kind of announced <v Speaker 3>to win another ref in again, as mentioned, a good <v Speaker 3>job there. It does hide awaitknesses of the Street Province <v Speaker 3>as a tag team, but I do personally want to <v Speaker 3>see montes follow go into a singles a singles run. <v Speaker 3>I feel like his athleticism and his performances grant a <v Speaker 3>deserved singles run, and I feel like we are missing <v Speaker 3>some mid carters to compete for the US title. Maybe <v Speaker 3>montese Ford would would maybe have to turn heels, but <v Speaker 3>even if he does have a singles run as a face, <v Speaker 3>I feel like he'd offer a lot within that division <v Speaker 3>as well. We then go to backstage where Raymond Rains <v Speaker 3>and Jimmy Us where it arriving in It in suv <v Speaker 3>backstage with the Travis Scott new song playing in the car. <v Speaker 3>They obviously weren't shy to mention that the song was <v Speaker 3>really good and that they heard. Yeah, it's funny because <v Speaker 3>Travis Scott is actually here in Australia touring and I'll <v Speaker 3>be attending his concert on Wednesday, so hopefully maybe they'll <v Speaker 3>he'll play his new song. If he does, would be <v Speaker 3>pretty exciting. But anyway, going back to the review, they <v Speaker 3>saw Jay Us coming in front of them if he <v Speaker 3>stared at both and as he was going to leave, <v Speaker 3>Rains held his arm and told Jay that he was <v Speaker 3>proud of him, and to which Jay replied, new Yeat, <v Speaker 3>he did walk into the under direction. Rains then said <v Speaker 3>to Jimmy, he told him so, and they proceeded to <v Speaker 3>walk into the building. So another interesting batch stage segment <v Speaker 3>between JAYO said jim Us and now Roman Rain's getting involved. <v Speaker 3>It's good to see that. I guess Roman does say <v Speaker 3>he's proud of Jay. I guess personally that would have <v Speaker 3>felt really good, but for the stage of the sake <v Speaker 3>of the storyline, Jay going new Yeat and constantly continuing <v Speaker 3>to regret that proposal of joining of joining the blood <v Speaker 3>line is sensible. And I guess, as mentioned before, I <v Speaker 3>think the only way Jay really joins this kind of <v Speaker 3>civil war is with the solo's by line costing him <v Speaker 3>on this week's episode of Monday Night Rule. But I <v Speaker 3>guess time will tell will find out. Then we then <v Speaker 3>get another backstage segment and I getting on the phone <v Speaker 3>to Tiffany, who's allegedly called him sick to work, as <v Speaker 3>we say in Australia, pulled a SICKI. So that leaves <v Speaker 3>Nia Jax without a partner against obviously Naomi and Bailey. <v Speaker 3>There We then get Nick Olders Taling nine to just <v Speaker 3>look for a partner, and then that's where we see <v Speaker 3>Candice lay and in the heartwell as well. That's good <v Speaker 3>to see a lot of Ouzzies and wwe we've got <v Speaker 3>four at the moment. I didn't mention last week that <v Speaker 3>wear Ribly came in and she was aussy but proud <v Speaker 3>to see our Aussies in the bigger stage in wrestling <v Speaker 3>as well. So they come out and looks like that. Obviously, <v Speaker 3>Canceller is probably getting the opportunity due to the fact <v Speaker 3>that she is the speed Champion at the moment, so <v Speaker 3>just trying to, I guess, kind of promote that there. <v Speaker 3>We haven't really seen them in a while, so it's <v Speaker 3>good to see. Also a refreshment in the women's in <v Speaker 3>the women's division as well, with some I guess people <v Speaker 3>that are coming back from from months away from SmackDown. <v Speaker 3>We then get the match the next match, which is <v Speaker 3>between Piper Niven and lash Legend. So it seems like <v Speaker 3>that it's been three shows in a row since lash <v Speaker 3>Legend and Jakara Jackson have been on the main roster, <v Speaker 3>so pretty good for them, good good exposure. I wasn't <v Speaker 3>on the review of Raw. But I did see what <v Speaker 3>happened last week and personally wasn't happy that Iosky and <v Speaker 3>Kyrie Saying lost that fight, especially in the hands of <v Speaker 3>Lash and Jakara Jackson. So personally not really a big <v Speaker 3>fan of them at the moment, but I guess they're <v Speaker 3>doing their job really well there. They get into gets <v Speaker 3>into a match there, it's really impressive. Take away my <v Speaker 3>personal opinions hunt on them as a as a tag <v Speaker 3>team and a Lash Legend showing her her real power <v Speaker 3>and strength in this match. It was a really quick match, <v Speaker 3>but I guess good display of showing Lashes that's his strength, <v Speaker 3>and especially since I think that both book does heels <v Speaker 3>at the moment, it seems to be didn't really get <v Speaker 3>the crowd going, but the match ended in Lush witing <v Speaker 3>Chelsea Green doing her best to kind of distract Pipe <v Speaker 3>Bar Piper went for the finisher obviously didn't land, and <v Speaker 3>then Lash performing that her finish it which is a <v Speaker 3>pretty big showcase of her power. So maybe we'll continue <v Speaker 3>to see Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson on the make <v Speaker 3>on the main shows to begin But again, a good <v Speaker 3>display there from Lash Legend in her debut match or <v Speaker 3>singles match. We again saw the Women's Tag Team Championships. <v Speaker 3>Watching from Afar as normal, seems like Jade Cargo cutting <v Speaker 3>her head, which looks quite cool if I'm honest, so <v Speaker 3>I don't mind the new look. Let's see if that <v Speaker 3>comes with a match more than five minutes in the <v Speaker 3>future as well, which I hope to see. I did <v Speaker 3>see something online that she's supposedly on track to be <v Speaker 3>ready to go for a singles run, but again, time <v Speaker 3>will tell. And I guess if we start seeing matches <v Speaker 3>that go for longer than five minutes, I can I <v Speaker 3>guess back that statement. We then get another locker room <v Speaker 3>segment with Romond Rains and Jimmy USO. Jimmy USA just <v Speaker 3>staring at Romans, which has shocked him. Rains that if <v Speaker 3>the Wise Man was here, so obviously hinting at Paul Hayman, <v Speaker 3>all this would have been solved out by now. Rain <v Speaker 3>said that he tried to talk to Jay, and Rain <v Speaker 3>said that Jimmy had the shot, and now Rains is <v Speaker 3>going to do things his own way and fix this tonight. <v Speaker 3>Jimmy obviously asking how to which Rains replies, I'm going <v Speaker 3>to acknowledge solo. So that's pretty interesting that Roman is <v Speaker 3>willing to I guess acknowledge his his tribal chief, well <v Speaker 3>not tribal chief, but this want to be trouble chief. <v Speaker 3>It means that Roman really does care for the family. <v Speaker 3>So we think we see the events that happen later <v Speaker 3>on throughout the show as well. Moving on, we get <v Speaker 3>Cody Rhodes making his entrance. To me, he was in <v Speaker 3>a suit with addy jacket, meaning that he probably isn't <v Speaker 3>going to get into some action today, so we're going <v Speaker 3>to hear I guess a booking promo from him. He <v Speaker 3>does point out that there is a huge crowd today, <v Speaker 3>not really a massive crowd I think there, but considering <v Speaker 3>the stadium being sold out, I think he has performed <v Speaker 3>in beard crowds, So just trying to I guess, swim <v Speaker 3>up the fans, as Cody loves to do on a <v Speaker 3>regular basis. He said that when it comes to the <v Speaker 3>pans in of top men and women in pro wrestling, <v Speaker 3>somebody said to him that the next one doesn't always <v Speaker 3>look like the last one. He's obviously regarding and talking <v Speaker 3>about previous champions in the future, trying to kind of <v Speaker 3>I guess build up this crown dual champion that I <v Speaker 3>guess not everyone is a fan of due to the <v Speaker 3>issues with Satday Arabia and I guess the deal that <v Speaker 3>they've got in place there. He does speak about all <v Speaker 3>the champions that if they would have fought for this championship, <v Speaker 3>what would have happened. The thing is, Cody, we have <v Speaker 3>seen a unified champions fight each other to become an <v Speaker 3>undisputed WWE champion, so it's not like we haven't hinmed <v Speaker 3>this before. I guess Cody again, as mentioned, trying to <v Speaker 3>hype up the fight between him and Gunda. He then <v Speaker 3>goes to talk about how Gunther was respected, saying that <v Speaker 3>most men were terrified of Gunta, but saying that he <v Speaker 3>wasn't terrified and would better against himself. He then mentions <v Speaker 3>that when he came back to WWE, he wanted to <v Speaker 3>take the John Seena schedule, which I think what he <v Speaker 3>means by that is constantly defending the champion on a <v Speaker 3>regular basis, which, out of respect for Cody, despite how <v Speaker 3>much I don't really like his promos as of late, <v Speaker 3>I do respect the fact that he does fan the <v Speaker 3>championship on a regular basis. And does and follow that <v Speaker 3>John Cena model. He said that he's emphasizing that he's <v Speaker 3>bled sweat and has paid the price, but he's also <v Speaker 3>not done with paying the prices. But Cody then goes <v Speaker 3>on to mention that the real reason that he's leaving <v Speaker 3>Crown Jaws champion because she is about three feet tall, <v Speaker 3>I think, referring to daughter, and basically wants to set <v Speaker 3>an example for her that you play not to lose, <v Speaker 3>but you played to win. Then he invited Guntherha to <v Speaker 3>come face to face to him next week to see <v Speaker 3>how they can kind of, I guess, continue to build <v Speaker 3>up this champion versus championship match. It was a pretty <v Speaker 3>solid promo if I'm honest. The only thing that I <v Speaker 3>kind of didn't like was how he kind of just <v Speaker 3>went on about all the champions in the past and <v Speaker 3>mentioning Colberg and Steve Austin facing each other as well. <v Speaker 3>I'm not a big fan of Goldberg personally, especially with <v Speaker 3>I think what he did to The Fiend a few <v Speaker 3>years ago ruining that character, and that kind of made <v Speaker 3>me feel very very ill about WW for a few <v Speaker 3>months when that was booked. But nevertheless, a solid primary <v Speaker 3>obviously building up the Cremondal Championship really well, mentioning his <v Speaker 3>hard work and dedication and how much obviously that means <v Speaker 3>to him, and also how important it is to win <v Speaker 3>for his daughter. It's also effective that he has invited <v Speaker 3>gun Tho over to come to next week. He can <v Speaker 3>tell there's a lot of mutual respect between the two <v Speaker 3>champions here, which is great to see something that's kind <v Speaker 3>of I guess different with what Cody has done in <v Speaker 3>the past, especially with his previous feuds with Solo as well, <v Speaker 3>So it'll be interesting to see how that face to <v Speaker 3>face codes next week. The respect might just get thrown <v Speaker 3>out the window, knowing guns with all the kind of <v Speaker 3>little shots he does take at his opponents before I <v Speaker 3>guess getting into battle with them. We then get a <v Speaker 3>video show of Kevin Owens recording on his phone. It <v Speaker 3>looks like he's in a car of some swords awesome <v Speaker 3>in the dark area. He does mention in this primo <v Speaker 3>that he's been a part of w W for over <v Speaker 3>ten years. He said that he doesn't like how things <v Speaker 3>have felt for him, and they've never felt as bad <v Speaker 3>as they have at this time. He then speaks about <v Speaker 3>how WW officials told him not to come to SmackDown, <v Speaker 3>saying that it's unfair and ridiculous, which I kind of <v Speaker 3>agree with considering what Ronston Reid has done all over <v Speaker 3>Raw and kind of the backstage pause the brun the <v Speaker 3>Blondeline has done, It's not really fair that Kevin Owens <v Speaker 3>kind of gets the short end of the stick here, <v Speaker 3>But again, he does mention that he got dropped because <v Speaker 3>of the Golden Boy I'm outside his stupor bus, which <v Speaker 3>kind of I guess kind of exemplfies those that don't <v Speaker 3>like Cody Roads to get on Kevin Oh's side here, <v Speaker 3>because if I'm honest, I think this is, yes, a <v Speaker 3>solid hill tern, but it doesn't feel that big of <v Speaker 3>a hill turn personally for me because of my views <v Speaker 3>home Cody Roads as well. So I really think that <v Speaker 3>the sides are very split between Kevin Owens fans and <v Speaker 3>Cody Rhodes fans if you're looking at it from I <v Speaker 3>guess the tension perspective, but I guess what kind of <v Speaker 3>breaks up the fact that he is a heel from <v Speaker 3>the issues with Cody Roads are the issues with Randy <v Speaker 3>Ordan attacking him from behind. It was cool to see <v Speaker 3>an extra video footage and a video angle of how <v Speaker 3>exactly he did do that, so it was a hit <v Speaker 3>from behind confirmed, and then goes on to mention that <v Speaker 3>what we're talking about is he is most disappointed with <v Speaker 3>Randy Ordon. He couldn't believe that he betrayed him and <v Speaker 3>took Cody Rhodes aside, and basically went on to say <v Speaker 3>that with everything happening right now, he doesn't need when <v Speaker 3>he will come back. We obviously will expect Kevin Owens <v Speaker 3>to come back sooner rather than later, just kind of <v Speaker 3>I guess, turning onto his his nidamickan character herel of <v Speaker 3>just being uncontrollable and reckless, which is a Kevin Owens <v Speaker 3>I'm really keen to see, and I guess we're probably <v Speaker 3>going to see before getting to Cody, his hands on Cody, <v Speaker 3>a battle and a booking between Randy Ordan. We then <v Speaker 3>obviously do go to transition with the mcdown general manager <v Speaker 3>Nick Orders, with Randy approaching him saying that he needs <v Speaker 3>to get his hands on Kevin Owens right now or <v Speaker 3>the Crown Jewel. Aldis said that he can't do it <v Speaker 3>because of the people from above, obviously referring to Triple <v Speaker 3>H to which Randy Ordon replies, he's not asking for permission, <v Speaker 3>but knows exactly who to talk to you to get <v Speaker 3>this match. So obviously going to have those chats with <v Speaker 3>Triple H to get that Crown Duel match, and I'm <v Speaker 3>sure that they'll get that that much booked for probably Crownjeel. <v Speaker 3>I hope it will be a Crown jew doesn't seem <v Speaker 3>like besides the Champion versus Championship matches, there hasn't been <v Speaker 3>any matches scheduled or plan obviously got plenty of time. <v Speaker 3>All Crown Jel occurs to see what matches occur. But <v Speaker 3>good to see we are leaning into another potential match <v Speaker 3>and Crown Jewel between Brandy Orton and Kevin Owens. There <v Speaker 3>we then get the second Triple Threat tag team qualifying match, <v Speaker 3>with the Atown down Under entering first with my boy <v Speaker 3>Grace and Waller. Let's say, for those that are not <v Speaker 3>big accurate depictions, I think Grayce and Waller accurately depicts <v Speaker 3>the Australian accent and the Australian attitude. Perfect take away, <v Speaker 3>the heel gimmicks and the heel moves, just from a <v Speaker 3>kind of aura and attitude perspective. Grace and Roler really <v Speaker 3>does exemplify what it is to be analsy, so it's <v Speaker 3>really good to see him kind of representing us in <v Speaker 3>the ring as well. I'm not to say that the <v Speaker 3>other three don't represent Australia in their own unique way. <v Speaker 3>Is just personally how I find Grayson Waller's accent and <v Speaker 3>mannerisms and how he utilizes that into his promos and <v Speaker 3>he's Grace and Waller effects. So massive fan of Grace <v Speaker 3>and Waller, and I do love the fact that he <v Speaker 3>does get under the everyone's skin and he plays his <v Speaker 3>role really well. So love Grace and Waller, love what <v Speaker 3>he's about. They enter the ring, they show also the <v Speaker 3>end of Lost Garza's entrance who they're going to diversing, <v Speaker 3>as well as the debut of the Motor City Machine <v Speaker 3>Guns duo of Chris Saban and Alex Show as they <v Speaker 3>make their official ww debut Stare. The match starts off <v Speaker 3>with Walla and Angel attacking Saban to start, when then <v Speaker 3>Saban comes back with a crossbody block that was pretty impressive. <v Speaker 3>We did also see an impressive tornado DDT as well. Personally, <v Speaker 3>I think the DDT is my favorite wrestling move. I <v Speaker 3>know it's simple, but it's quite effective as well, and <v Speaker 3>really like the different variations and executions of the DDT too. <v Speaker 3>Shelley then joins Sabin in the ring and they sent <v Speaker 3>all the three opponents the ring. I was really impressed <v Speaker 3>with Los Gazas in this match, especially the move when <v Speaker 3>Angel held both opponents and I'm going to hit the <v Speaker 3>missile drop kick from the top of the rope and <v Speaker 3>now I think it combined into a power bomb debt. However, <v Speaker 3>we did see mcmg win the match. I had both <v Speaker 3>guys kicked Sabin and also hald burning while Shelley dropped <v Speaker 3>off on the top, leading them to a neck breaker <v Speaker 3>top rope splash combo. We didn't get the biggest reaction <v Speaker 3>from the crowd. I guess not much of the crowd <v Speaker 3>must have knew about MCMG like myself. However, we did <v Speaker 3>see a little bit of mcmg chance going in to <v Speaker 3>begin but I guess as they continue to kind of <v Speaker 3>go on week for a week on WWE, we might <v Speaker 3>see the crowd getting into them a lot more, especially <v Speaker 3>with this performance. I think they were really really solid <v Speaker 3>on the debut there. We then get a backstage segment <v Speaker 3>with from Dreda and Kamala Hayes as they were about <v Speaker 3>to be interviewed by Byron Sexton. Mallett shoved Andreda, saying <v Speaker 3>nobody wanted to hear from him, and we got into <v Speaker 3>a fight that was quickly broken up backstage, with Amelo <v Speaker 3>actually picking a train off the ground and punching Andrada <v Speaker 3>in the ribs. So I think next week we probably <v Speaker 3>expect to see Andreda wrapped up. Wouldn't be surprised there, <v Speaker 3>but I guess more news that on that match. Later <v Speaker 3>on the show, we then get the women's tag team <v Speaker 3>match with Bailey and Miami against Nia Jackson and Candas Loray. <v Speaker 3>It was really interesting that Bailey didn't didn't get an <v Speaker 3>entrance in this one. She really caught uh the short <v Speaker 3>end of the stick on on this on this match <v Speaker 3>as well, not only not getting the entrance, but to <v Speaker 3>the surprise of I reckon ninety nine of all WWE <v Speaker 3>fans getting clean pin by by kandas Larray. Yes it <v Speaker 3>was with the distraction of of Indi hartwell, but again <v Speaker 3>a massive surprise there with with kandas Lray winning that match. <v Speaker 3>As mentioned, yeah, it does. It does start with pretty <v Speaker 3>much Jax dominating most of the match to begin with <v Speaker 3>then Bailey getting the hot tag after which we thought <v Speaker 3>maybe that would have hyped her up there, and I <v Speaker 3>guess Bailey was about to win the match, we get <v Speaker 3>the distraction from from Hartwell and then the new salt <v Speaker 3>from from kandas Loray for for the pin, so a massive, <v Speaker 3>massive upset win. You could see that. Yeah, Naya Jacks <v Speaker 3>was extremely surprised there again as mentioned with hyping this <v Speaker 3>tag team, but it didn't really make sense as to <v Speaker 3>why Candice Loray was involved, I guess promoting that to <v Speaker 3>be championship as mentioned, But now that she's won this match, <v Speaker 3>I think it has I guess made things a little <v Speaker 3>interesting with Bailey as well, because she's definitely dropped down <v Speaker 3>from I guess having a women's title match and being <v Speaker 3>the women's champion this year to now taking a pin <v Speaker 3>and to not even getting her music to color wise, <v Speaker 3>So maybe they'll get a match between the two. This <v Speaker 3>might be a push for for larayhire for the future, <v Speaker 3>and it might just open up that women's division again <v Speaker 3>as mentioned before, So I'm extremely excited to see what <v Speaker 3>will happen there. Hopefully Indy Hot World as a fellow <v Speaker 3>Aussie kind of gets involved with this a bit more, <v Speaker 3>and it'd be good to see her actually have a <v Speaker 3>match as well, because I feel like it's been a <v Speaker 3>while since I've seen her in Ring two. If you <v Speaker 3>then go backstage again, back to mentioning the stipulation that's <v Speaker 3>going to be implemented in that Game seven match between <v Speaker 3>Andreda and Cole Hayes, with Ala and Knight being announced <v Speaker 3>as the special guests referee Allen Knight basically mentioning with <v Speaker 3>this referee the w do he's ever seen. He's also <v Speaker 3>made it clear that he'll be calling it down the <v Speaker 3>middle and also mentioning that it doesn't really matter who wins. <v Speaker 3>He's essentially going to put them back to factory reset <v Speaker 3>pen and then whoever wins again. So I guess a <v Speaker 3>really effective primo. Again, I'm a massive fan of L. A. <v Speaker 3>Knight and what he's done with the company. I do <v Speaker 3>really hope in the future he does get that much <v Speaker 3>deserved world title opportunity, because I feel like he does <v Speaker 3>deserve it, and you server with the crowd right now, <v Speaker 3>but I guess him with the US title is good <v Speaker 3>for the time b I just don't think there is <v Speaker 3>a worthy opponent for him to actually beat him, so <v Speaker 3>just doesn't seem like he's at the United States level. <v Speaker 3>I feel like he's much above that right now, so <v Speaker 3>hopefully he gets into those kind of championship brackets in <v Speaker 3>the future. But again, be interesting to see who win <v Speaker 3>that part seven. I do personally want Kamala Haes to <v Speaker 3>win because he is the younger and upcoming superstar and <v Speaker 3>I feel like he's done a really good job in <v Speaker 3>selling his feud and he's really helped elevate Andrada here, <v Speaker 3>who really had not much to do before this this <v Speaker 3>massive this rivalry between the seven. But I really do <v Speaker 3>think that they're going to go with Andrada if the <v Speaker 3>win here. I'm not sure how it's probably done. I <v Speaker 3>feel like l. A. Knight is going to somehow get involved, <v Speaker 3>Kamala Hayes is probably going to run his mouth but <v Speaker 3>forcing LA Knight to probably hit him with BFT and <v Speaker 3>then somehow giving Andrad eight the pin there. We then <v Speaker 3>basically get to the end of the show with the <v Speaker 3>Roman Reigns coming out to his new Men music. As <v Speaker 3>I mentioned, I'm not really a big fan of his music. Again, <v Speaker 3>I feel like his old music was a lot better. However, <v Speaker 3>listening to it when he if he arrives on stage <v Speaker 3>pre planned, I feel like the music gets a lot <v Speaker 3>more emphasis what I feel like WW should do, especially <v Speaker 3>if he comes on a surprise return or if he's <v Speaker 3>trying to enter the ring to help someone out or <v Speaker 3>interfere with something. I feel like they really need to <v Speaker 3>skip the whole cinematics and just go straight to I <v Speaker 3>guess when the opera person starts singing. I feel like <v Speaker 3>that will allow the time to kind of, I guess, <v Speaker 3>pass through those introductions because honestly, by the time they <v Speaker 3>build up to that part, Rem and Rens will probably <v Speaker 3>just be into the ring already helping out a person there. <v Speaker 3>So I think that's one way they could kind of <v Speaker 3>rectify the change in music, because I do think that now, <v Speaker 3>like listening to it when he came out, when he <v Speaker 3>came out at the end of the show, and you <v Speaker 3>did get the ones to the sky and everyone kind <v Speaker 3>of prepared for his arrival and to a massive pop <v Speaker 3>as well, So I think that's probably the best way <v Speaker 3>they should I think personally book in the future, I'm <v Speaker 3>not sure they're really going to do that, but as <v Speaker 3>something that I kind of just picked up on this <v Speaker 3>shown and wanted to kind of, I guess give him <v Speaker 3>my take on the music again. He then goes into <v Speaker 3>the ring in the trademarked calling out Columbia South Carolina, <v Speaker 3>but then saying maybe for the last time, acknowledge me, <v Speaker 3>which is obviously not true, but I guess leading into <v Speaker 3>that point that he is going to and teasing the <v Speaker 3>crowd that he's going to, So what I acknowledge Solis <v Speaker 3>to Cola there. So Alo then makes his entrance into <v Speaker 3>the ring, not in his black sue red shirt, but <v Speaker 3>with his wrestling gear with the ulla follow around his neck. <v Speaker 3>The other guys in the blood Line weren't with him, <v Speaker 3>so it's just him on him one on one. Sorry, <v Speaker 3>obviously don't think that that was going to be the <v Speaker 3>case as we we saw. Rain said that he heard <v Speaker 3>Solo tell Jay that the blood Line was stronger and <v Speaker 3>Roman Raines didn't see it. He said that he didn't <v Speaker 3>see anything that tells them that they're better off. He <v Speaker 3>also spoke about how they're actually divided and broken and <v Speaker 3>say they're better off. Romans then talked about everything they <v Speaker 3>went through during the spring and everything that they lost <v Speaker 3>in the summer, and now they stand divided. Rain's also <v Speaker 3>said that he told his father, mentioning a sicker rop <v Speaker 3>to him that he could fix it and all he <v Speaker 3>wants to do is put them back to the promised land. <v Speaker 3>And then he also said, thank you. Wanted titles around <v Speaker 3>the waist or money, sick of Roman bringing up the <v Speaker 3>money to be honest, just don't think it's necessary. And <v Speaker 3>he also wanted a Solo to tell him how he <v Speaker 3>could fix this, so obviously proplying the best way to <v Speaker 3>fix this is to acknowledge him, to which Roman replies <v Speaker 3>he acknowledges fans obviously do and basically saying if that <v Speaker 3>made him feel better, Solough obviously not buying to the <v Speaker 3>way Rains acknowledged him, saying that he wanted to. He <v Speaker 3>wanted Roman to say, I acknowledge you as my tribal <v Speaker 3>chief when basically threatened that he will do something, but <v Speaker 3>then to which gets pretty mad and says or else <v Speaker 3>what Then Solo obviously replies that Roman will never change, <v Speaker 3>to which then Solo mentions that he will never change either. <v Speaker 3>That's where the stap of the fingers occurs, and you <v Speaker 3>can see three of the Solo's bloodline members come out <v Speaker 3>this time with Jimmy us in their arms showing that <v Speaker 3>he's been brutally beat up backstage, and Attah and Paul <v Speaker 3>Kevin Owen's probably looking at thinking how our Solo's boodline <v Speaker 3>is not suspended, emphasizing his before but again so then <v Speaker 3>tries to attack Rains in the ring, Rains obviously fighting back, <v Speaker 3>and then it takes Fatu to kind of break it <v Speaker 3>up again as we are mentioning, and we're looking at <v Speaker 3>Fattu being the one to kind of be hidden here <v Speaker 3>and also always helping out Solo to begin with, because <v Speaker 3>the tongue of his face that all these are the <v Speaker 3>ones getting beat up. You never really see toma tongue <v Speaker 3>or tongue lawa turning the heads around and getting that offense. <v Speaker 3>It always happens to be Jacob Fatu as remon remains <v Speaker 3>does it before that is about to take the lula fala. <v Speaker 3>We do see the super kick, and then Solo obviously <v Speaker 3>then performing the two Someone spikes to Roman reins which <v Speaker 3>then Tou grabbing the Lula faala and basically worshiping Soli <v Speaker 3>Sekola there towards the end again make them defying and <v Speaker 3>seeing the find that they're going to need a lot <v Speaker 3>more help and too Higginst four is obviously going to <v Speaker 3>lead to a lot of beatdowns. On a weekly basis, <v Speaker 3>I'm on SmackDown interesting to see what will happen in <v Speaker 3>the future. We're getting closer to the Survivor series Bloodline <v Speaker 3>civil War, and it does all and confirm that probably <v Speaker 3>are going to see a civil war between the two <v Speaker 3>blood lines. Just waiting for obviously Jay to get involved <v Speaker 3>and how it's going to happen. And I gave you <v Speaker 3>guys my prediction before and who's going to be the <v Speaker 3>fourth member and then as I mentioned, I believe they're <v Speaker 3>gonna obviously get I think Sam sam Zein involved in <v Speaker 3>this and not really sure how they're going to do it. <v Speaker 3>That's going to be the most interesting part. But I <v Speaker 3>guess we'll have to to continue on viewing and seeing <v Speaker 3>what will happen. But again, as mentioned at the start <v Speaker 3>of the show, this will be my second and last <v Speaker 3>review with Amanda coming back to review SmackDown on a <v Speaker 3>regular and a normal basis. But I guess for the <v Speaker 3>two weeks filling in, it's been been a pleasure and <v Speaker 3>it's been really cool to be able to come in <v Speaker 3>and give my SmackDown takes and who knows, there might <v Speaker 3>be signing for me to do and then in the <v Speaker 3>future here on the ww podcast. Hopefully it's not the <v Speaker 3>last time you guys hear from me. Hopefully you have <v Speaker 3>enjoyed these two reviews and this one this week's review <v Speaker 3>on SmackDown Today.
